This is what Abraham Lincoln said

As it turns out, it might not be exactly what most of us would expect.

The anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s birthday was February 12. Since we now celebrate Presidents’ Day in memory of all our deceased presidents, Americans did not pause for a moment to remember Lincoln. This is very sad, given what Lincoln said that nullifies our contemporary outpouring of anti-White racism.

In our revitalized racism—this time against all White people—this neglect of Lincoln is unacceptable, for Lincoln gave the lie to such anti-White racism and its demand that there must be—today—acceptance by all of congenital White guilt for the evil of slavery.

But before I continue quoting Lincoln to refute that new racist narrative, let us note that the slavery that came to be practiced in southern American states originated with the Arabs and was brought to Europeans by the Umayyad Muslim conquest of Spain in 711 CE. We should also note in this connection that the Quran neither condemns slavery nor calls for its immediate abolition.

The merged narratives of critical race theory and intersectionality teach that all White people are incorrigibly, not to mince words, a source of evil thoughts and disgraceful discrimination. Thus, Whiteness as a mindset and way of living must be denounced, and recalcitrant Whites must be banished from the company of good people.

In total rejection of this racism stood Abraham Lincoln. He provided us today with an unimpeachable honoring of Whiteness by making reference to the actions of Union soldiers in the Civil War.

In his Second Inaugural Address, Lincoln argued that “every drop of blood drawn with the lash shall be paid by another drawn by the sword.” Thus, the Union dead had paid with their blood for the sins of other Whites, the slave owners and their plantation overseers. These dead were mostly young White men who had selflessly volunteered to fight and, if necessary, die so that others—very different from themselves in skin color, ethnic origin, education, and culture—could live in liberty.

Some 360,000 White men from the northern states died in the Civil War. In today’s dollars, the estimated economic value of their lost lives is $324,000,000,000.

Also, implicitly, Lincoln here gave a powerful moral answer to the question of whether, today, reparations should be paid for the suffering unjustly imposed on slaves with the assertion that the Civil War itself and all its deaths and woundings were just reparations imposed on the Whites of both North and South for having made money off slavery. Lincoln said that God himself had imposed the war and its sufferings as punishment on White Americans to be fought “until all the wealth piled by the bondsman’s two hundred and fifty years of unrequited toil shall be sunk…”

White Americans of today need not hang their heads in shame nor feel guilty for what happened centuries ago. They need only accept responsibility and corresponding guilt or shame for what they do today—by themselves at their own initiative, intentionally or by negligence—to deny dignity to any other person of any gender or skin color or race or religion.

Nor should White Americans today be denied dignity and opportunity because of what happened before the blood recompense for those wrongs was made through fighting the Civil War.

Certainly shouldn’t. And yet, this is is precisely what the vile, vicious Left asks—nay, demands—of us nonetheless. For such as they, no “reparations” can ever be enough, no repentance sufficient, to expunge the burden of White Guilt with which they wish to unjustly saddle us. The very least they deserve in return for this hateful offense is to be scorned, mocked, and generally reviled.

The future is here!

Or at Hill AF Base, at any rate.

America Airlifts Its Nuclear Future as Pentagon Delivers Microreactor in Historic C-17 Mission
A C-17 Globemaster III lifted off from March Air Reserve Base in California on Sunday carrying cargo that would have seemed like science fiction a generation ago: a next-generation nuclear reactor, bound for testing in Utah. The reactor was flown to Hill Air Force Base in Utah and is expected to be transported to the Utah San Rafael Energy Lab in Orangeville for testing and evaluation, marking a turning point in America’s race to reclaim energy dominance.

The airlift wasn’t just a logistics operation. It was a declaration that the United States intends to win the advanced nuclear race while China builds Generation IV reactors and the rest of the developed world stumbles through energy crises of their own making. President Donald Trump’s executive order to modernize America’s nuclear energy infrastructure and strengthen U.S. national security set this moment in motion, and the Department of War wasted no time executing the mission.

The reactor being transported is part of a collaboration between the Pentagon and Valar Atomics, a California-based startup founded by 25-year-old Isaiah Taylor. The company’s Ward 250 reactor represents a fundamentally different approach to nuclear power: small, transportable, factory-built units that can be deployed wherever they’re needed rather than massive installations that take decades to construct. For military installations that currently depend on vulnerable civilian power grids or diesel generators, the implications are profound.

For the military, reliance on diesel generators when deployed and local electric grids here at home is widely viewed as a significant national security threat. Every forward operating base running on fuel convoys is a target. Every domestic installation tied to the civilian grid is one cyberattack away from going dark. The microreactor solution eliminates both vulnerabilities. These units can be transported by C-17, set up at remote locations, and provide reliable power independent of supply lines or grid infrastructure.

Lots of very intriguing, very enheartening stuff in this one, folks. Bottom line:

The image of a nuclear reactor loaded into a C-17 represents more than technological capability. It represents a shift in how America approaches both energy and national security. For too long, those domains were treated as separate concerns, managed by bureaucracies more interested in process than results. The Trump administration’s executive orders and the military’s execution of programs like Janus reflect a different calculation: that energy security and military readiness are inseparable, and that restoring American dominance in both requires breaking old patterns.

Whether Valar Atomics ultimately succeeds or another company takes the lead matters less than the broader trajectory. The reactor sitting in Utah for testing is proof that America can still move quickly when leadership decides that winning matters more than managing decline. The question now is whether that momentum continues or whether it gets buried under the same regulatory and political obstacles that have paralyzed American energy development for half a century.

Time will tell, as ever. Either way, it’s good to know that SecWar Hegseth is working on it for us in accordance with the tasking set forth by President Trump, with eyes set firmly on the road ahead and not the dim and distant past.

Still smokin’

After his grand-slam speech in Munich, slugger Marco Rubio blasts another one all the way out to the cheap seats.

Rubio’s European Tour Heats Up — WaPo and the Cuban Revolution Take a Beating
Secretary of State Marco Rubio has been in Europe this weekend for the Munich Security Conference and to meet with officials in Slovakia and Hungary. To be honest, when I saw his schedule, I thought, this will be a boring trip. I doubt I’ll even write anything about it. Europe bores me these days.

Witchya all the way on that one, cuz.

On Sunday, Rubio traveled to Slovakia to meet with President Peter Pellegrini and Prime Minister Robert Fico. He and Fico took questions from the press after their meeting, and one Washington Post reporter tried to play games with some little gotcha questions about Venezuela — Rubio wasn’t having it.

After asking Rubio a question about Iran, the WaPo reporter then turned to Fico and asked, “On Venezuela, you strongly opposed America’s removal of Maduro by force, saying it demonstrates a deepening breakdown of the international order. Do you still feel that way given where we’re at now? And also, you’ve denied saying that you were worried about President Trump’s psychological state following your meeting with him in Mar-a-Lago. Can you explain how this was potentially misinterpreted?”

(For context, Fico has been one of the more vocal European critics of our capture of Nicolás Maduro, saying it went against international law and calling it an “American adventure,” something about oil, yada yada. As for the talk about Trump’s “psychological state,” Politico did a story last month claiming Fico said he was worried about Trump’s “dangerous” mental state, but Fico has denied ever saying that.)

Anyway, Rubio answered the question about Iran, but before Fico could answer the one about Venezuela, Rubio continued Saturday’s display of unapologetic U.S. swagger. He not only called the reporter out for asking such a question, but he defended the Maduro move and even bragged about it a little.

He did at that, and it’s a thing of beauty to behold. Plenty more where the above came from, of which you want to read the all.

Update! Just gotta throw in this bit, on the doomed Commie shitrapy of Cuba:

At some point between all of these bada** moments, Rubio sat down with Bloomberg News for an interview. The interviewer, John Micklethwait, asked Rubio how long he thinks the Cuban regime can hold out with no oil. As we know, a couple of weeks ago, Trump threatened secondary tariffs on any country that offered the now isolated nation any oil, and Cuba has pretty much run out of it to the point that planes are grounded, ground transportation isn’t happening, people are gathering wood so they can cook, and everything from school days to surgeries have been canceled.

Rubio’s didn’t hesitate to call the situation what it is. “The revolution in Cuba ended a long time ago,” he said.

He continued.

Cuba’s fundamental problem is that it has no economy and its economic model is one that has never been tried and has never worked anywhere else in the world, okay? It just doesn’t have a real economic policy. It doesn’t have a real economy.

Now, put aside for a moment the fact that it has no freedom of expression, no democracy, no respect for human rights. The fundamental problem Cuba has it is has no economy, and the people who are in charge of that country, in control of that country, they don’t know how to improve the everyday life of their people without giving up power over sectors that they control. They want to control everything. They don’t want the people of Cuba to control anything.

So they don’t know how to get themselves out of this. And to the extent that they have been offered opportunities to do it, they don’t seem to be able to comprehend it or accept it in any ways. They would much rather be in charge of the country than allow it to prosper.

While he wouldn’t give the details of what he and President Trump are planning for the future of the island nation, he did say quite confidently that now that it’s not receiving handouts, it won’t survive because it’s never been able to survive without help before.

S’truth, right down the line.

Updated update! Compare, contrast.

Czech Politician Enrages Hillary Clinton in Munich
During the Munich Security Conference, Czech Deputy Prime Minister Petr Macinka pummeled Hillary Clinton with truth. She tried to talk about women’s rights and Ukraine as a digression away from the points he was making.

Macinka began mocking her TDS, which infuriated her.

Hillary wants the US to push the Ukraine war. She destroyed Libya with her approach and learned nothing from it. She wants to “inflict pain.” This is the woman who laughed when Gaddafi was tortured and killed. Torturing and killing aren’t funny.

I wasn’t impressed with the intelligence or comments by the people on this panel, especially Hillary, who can’t control her temper. She isn’t a world leader, why was she even there? She’s a three-time failed presidential candidate and failed miserably as Secretary of State.

At this point, I think it entirely safe to say that Hillary!™ is NOT the future of A) the “feminist” movement; B) the D卐M☭CRAT “Party”; the US of A; D) Western Civ; E) anything at all, frankly. Which, Her Herness© seems to be aware of this, explaining in part why she’s so touchy and ill-tempered of late.

Essentially, she turns out to have been wrong about absolutely everything, leading to her narcissistic ass being left behind on history’s ash heap of discarded lies. Now all’s she can do is sit there amongst the rest of the smelly trash—rotting banana peels, used Kleenex, mouse droppings, watermelon rinds, fish heads wrapped in old newspapers, and road-kill carcasses—muttering angrily to herself as the world continues to pass her by without a backward glance.

Update to the updated update! The bitter old hag might take a page from her former boss on how best to emotionally cope with having misread every sign, blithely skated right past every portent, missed every clue, and ignored every hint: screw up your face all serious-like, look sincerely concerned, poke out your forked tongue, and lie like a cheap rug. Yes, about EVERYTHING.

See, Hills? Grandmaster Bathhouse Barry, with many, many years of experience at this sort of thing, makes it look easy-peasy. Now all y’all have to do is hope like hell somebody out there still believes y’all’s arrant bullshit…or even cares, for that matter.

Updates, forsooth! Nuts-n-bolts details on Hillary’s™ spectacular Munich self-beclownment, from Nick Arama.

Clinton made a pretty stunning comment that migration had gone “too far, it’s been disruptive and destabilizing.” That’s a big indictment of the Democratic policies over the last several years, whether she understands that or not. The big question was why she was saying it. Was it because she’s trying to paint the Democrats as more moderate than they are as they scream about abolishing ICE? Maybe, but that isn’t going to work, given the mess they made of securing the border and dealing with illegal aliens.

She also appeared to attack the Trump administration’s approach to dealing with the mess that Joe Biden left him, which is a disgraceful thing to do while overseas.

Petr Macinka, a Czech deputy prime minister, took her to task, “First, I think you really don’t like him.”

“You know, that is absolutely true,” Clinton said. Then she tried to tell him what to do when it comes to Trump, “But not only do I not like him, but I don’t like what he’s actually doing to the United States and the world, and I think you should take a hard look at it if you think there is something good that will come of it.” She’s still so burnt that Trump beat her, even ten years later.

Macinka explained that what led to Trump winning was how extreme the left had become. “Well, what Trump is doing in America, I think, is a reaction. Reaction for some policies that really went too far, too far from the regular people.”

He then referred to things like cancel culture, the “woke” revolution, and gender ideologies, while Hillary made faces next to him.

Jeezum H CROW. How any sensible person still takes these retarded assclowns, these nitwit juvenile delinquents, even somewhat seriously is beyond my ken. Does it get even better from there, you ask? Why, yes; yes, it does.

Miraculous

Pretty sure I’ve posted this here before, but I don’t care, i’ts just too damned good to go without for very long.

Music by Stevie Wonder, lyrics by the incomparable Smokey Robinson, if I was forced to pick just one this would have to be just about my favorite song of them all.

No big deal, just the SOS

Surprised? Don’t be.

ISIS Issues a Call to Murder Tommy Robinson, But the Warning UK Cops Give Him Is Much Worse
The patriotic British activist Tommy Robinson revealed on Friday morning that he is “a priority target for ISIS!!!” He added: “I have now left the country, I need time to work things out for my safety and the safety of my family. I will probably have to relocate them. I will update you when I can.”

The news came in the form of a phone call from the Bedfordshire Police. A police officer told Robinson “we have seen intelligence that an ISIS publication has [been]… encouraging others to commit violence against yourself.” He went on to explain that this publication was called Yalgaar, and that the information he was giving Robinson “has come from our counter terrorists.”

When Robinson asked, however, if he could get a copy of this publication, the police officer said “Unfortunately not.” Robinson then asked if he went online and downloaded a copy, “Would that be a terrorist offense?” The officer replied: “I think it would be.”

The officer then said that he wanted to “remind” Robinson that “because of this information, it doesn’t authorize you to carry weapons, anything like that, take any pre-emptive action against others.” Robinson asked: “So I’m named in an ISIS manual to be targeted by ISIS terrorists, but I cannot have anything to protect myself.” The officer made clear that this was indeed the case.

This is a remarkable phone call, but utterly unsurprising. For years now, British authorities have acted as if Tommy Robinson were public enemy number one. As he stood against the migrant invasion that threatens to end Britain as a free society (as well as replace the native British people with foreigners who have no historical connection to the land) and spoke out honestly regarding Muslim rape gang activity and other issues that those authorities have shown themselves afraid to confront, he has revealed to the entire world the suicidal pusillanimity and cowardice of the British intelligentsia.

And so instead of offering special protection to Robinson in light of this Islamic State threat, as Salman Rushdie, Geert Wilders, Ayaan Hirsi Ali and many others have received after threats from other jihadis, the police officer who contacted him only warned him not to carry any weapons. It is an extremely odd thing to tell someone while you’re telling him about a credible death threat against him, unless, of course, the British authorities want Robinson dead as much as ISIS does.

The contemptible Brit “authorities” were making a statement (not merely to Robinson but to the entire world) about what is of primary importance to them: not that the filthy, primordial Muzzrats were gunning for Robinson, but that in the UK the right to defend oneself (responsibility, more like, or so I believe) no longer exists, assuming it ever did. Likewise, they wished to remind one and all that the disgraceful, spineless “authorities” do not intend to protect subjects of the badly tarnished Crown from the depredations of these scrofulous animals. They cared for nothing apart from getting this point across, be assured. Bottom line? Just this: hapless Brits don’t have to like it; they have to shut up and take it, that’s what.

And with that, I can’t imagine that I’m gonna have a whole lot more to say around here about the suicide of Once-Great, Now-Pathetic Britain. They are what they are, we all KNOW what they are, and it’s not going to change. Britain is now just another Moslem shitrapy, entirely and exclusively because the British people sat on their asses and allowed it to happen. Instead of getting themselves all het up over the admittedly sorry situation Over There, Real Americans must now focus their attention on seeing to it that it doesn’t happen here, before it’s too late. We’re much too far along that dismal road already.

If Tommy Robinson has half a brain in his head, and I very much hope he does, he and his loved ones will never set foot on British soil again, not for any reason whatever. Every true patriot feels a strong pull towards the land of his birth and his countrymen, of course, but the sad fact is that there’s not a damned thing he or anybody else can do to rescue the benighted UK now. Like Elvis, it’s gone and cannot be brought back.

Update! Not much reason for me to keep elevating my blood pressure with this kind of crap when Mark Steyn covers it so adroitly.

Rupert Lowe is doing a magnificent job with his “rape gang inquiry” – and, as I said a few days ago, it does my heart good to see our friend Sammy Woodhouse up there seated alongside him – as opposed to the last “inquiry” where the Government’s plan was to have Sammy seated next to Rotherham bi-guy rapist Lord Ahmed. That’s right: pre-Rupert Lowe, they were putting the rapists on the investigatory panels. I was going to call Lord Ahmed “Labour’s paedo peer”, but I realised that that doesn’t narrow it down much: see Sir Keir’s furious face at PMQs after Mrs Badenoch accused him of leading a ministry of “paedophile-apologists”.

Another aspect that has emerged in recent days is the complicity of Islamic women in the activities of their menfolk. As I gradually realised a decade ago, they are almost all aware that every chap in their household is participating in the gang-rape of certain white working-class girls – and they’re cool with that. After all, if you have to live among the hideous painted strumpets of the infidel, the girls might as well be put to use. So from The Daily Mail:

Labour mayor is found guilty of helping hide her son’s phone after he raped a 15-year-old girl

I had initially assumed, following the mayor’s tearful plea in court that a “mother’s love” had clouded her judgment, that the rapist was seventeen, nineteen or some such. In fact, as you can see from the photograph above, the kid was forty-one. At the time, he was serving, officially, as “Consort” to the Mayor. That’s some bollocks-type title equivalent to the use of “First Lady” in America, which is likewise bollocks and which I have never liked. But apparently “Consort” is its British and non-binary equivalent and, as our illustration makes plain, comes with its own impressive chain of “office”.

And in Berkshire, Diwan Khan, Consort to the Mayor of Bracknell Forest, while in-between municipal functions, enjoyed slipping drugs into the drinks of minors and then raping them. His fifteen-year-old victim woke up naked on the back seat of his car and wondered what had happened. So the Consort to the Mayor used one hand to choke her and the other to hold up his telephone and show her the video he’d taken of their romantic interlude. This is also a very Paki thing: most rapists are a little sheepish about evidence of their brutality. But, in the vibrant diversity of England, the thugs who violate your daughters like to make souvenir movies they can show to their friends, brothers, fathers, grandfathers, etc.

Do they also show them to Mum? When the police knocked on the door of Mayor Naheed Ejaz, she waited a minute-and-a-half before responding. She used that time to order her son – in Urdu, so the coppers could not understand – to hide his mobile.

Because she knew what Muslim men keep on their telephones.

She knew what the police would see if they found it – and apparently she could not be as sure of the indifference of Thames Valley Police as Mancunians, Yorkshiremen and Shropshire lads are of the indifference of the Greater Manchester, South Yorkshire and West Mercia constabularies. When the coppers had been admitted, both mother and son continued to speak in Urdu, avoiding the word “phone”, which is the same in both languages. So on bodycam video Diwan can be heard referring only to “the big bell”, to which the Mayor replies, “Keep quiet. I know.” The mobile has never been found.

Tellingly, Naheed Ejaz owned, and Diwan Khan drove for, a family taxi firm – because cabs are also central to control of the municipal rape-gang business. The Mayor has now been convicted of perverting the course of justice. But the family are old hands at perverting in a more general sense.

Post-Immivasion Britain has become so warped, so depraved, so mind-bogglingly decayed and distorted that it truly beggars belief. Winston Churchill wouldn’t recognize the place, and would surely be sickened unto death at seeing how very far the homeland he once cherished has fallen…as all decent, honorable people should be.

These kids today

They’ve taken a SERIOUS wrong turn somewhere along the line, the mincing little queefs.

The Least Laid Generation in History: Gen Z Is Ghosting Sex — and the Implications Are Huge
It’s not just sex: Alcohol consumption has dropped by 54%, with youth (18 to 34) drinking falling ANOTHER 9% just between 2023 and 2025.

Maybe that’s not coincidental. Perhaps there’s a causal link (as famed philosopher Jimmy Buffett suggested). Maybe, just like peanut butter and jelly are complementary products, sex and alcohol are, too.

Back in 1991, more than half — 54.1% of all high school students — were sexually active. (The other 45.9% lied about it.) By 2007, the number fell to 47.8%. Four years later, it dropped again to 43%. By 2017, it was just 39.5%.

As of 2023, it’s 31.6%.

What’s going on with kids today, with their wild, out-of-control abstinence and crazy teetotalling?!

Can’t say as I blame ’em, really. Beer and/or hard likker taste about like unwashed butthole smells, frankly, and modern “women” are kinda scary: mean, eternally pissed off at any and everything, and extremely loud about it. Fat as hell, too.

Too much FUN

Schlichter has it.

It Is Right and Proper to Laugh at the Suffering of Journalists
If it’s wrong to spend a week celebrating the misery of your opponents, like that of the scores of just-fired Washington Post hacks who are crying like teenage girls learning there are no more “Twilight” movies coming, then I’m incredibly, totally, enthusiastically wrong. The former journos/current drive-thru operators still have not shut up about the WaPo’s mass layoffs, and I am taking unmitigated delight in their pain. Their suffering energizes me. Their tears nourish me. Their humiliation fuels my joy. Hey, maybe democracy dies in darkness, but as long as the WaPo dies, I’m good.

I would tell them to learn (to) code, but that’s old and cliché. Instead, I’ve been on X, inviting them to earn a little money for their kombucha and rent by buffing out my sweet luxury ride, which I paid for with my writing jobs. I’m a professional writer, and they’re not.

But hey, I’m sure that journalism degree from the University of College is going to get them another gig soon. Say it with me – “Would you like to supersize that, sir?”

They haven’t taken their involuntary career tangent particularly well. They are all over X moaning about it and about us being giddy about it. Some people have told me that, because of my hysterical laughter at their situation, I’m going to be the victim of karma, but I think I’m actually karma’s enforcer. After all, these are the people who have done nothing but lie to us and about us for decades. From Russian collusion to Hunter’s laptop to J6 pogrom cheerleading to every other fraud and scam, they’ve obediently held to the Democrat line and done everything they could to screw with us patriots. Now that they’re being laid off en masse, we owe it to ourselves to take a moment and laugh at their pain.

Look, how about if I agree to care about them as much as they’ve cared about me for the last few decades? Agreed? Great. Now, back to reveling in their agony.

And bang, zoom! Back to it he doth go, to wit:

Personally, I love their incessant whining that Jeff Bezos somehow owes them sinecures. Why, he’s got so much money he could easily continue paying for them to provide zero value! It’s his moral duty! One even referred to his “stewardship” of the Washington Post in a typically overwrought X post. Stewardship? He’s a steward? What, like some sort of ink-stained Denethor? Well, they’ve got the funeral pyre part down.

No, the word they’re looking for and not finding is “owner.” Jeff Bezos owns the Washington Post. He can do what he wants with it. If he wants to turn it into a newsprint version of Maxim – is Maxim still a thing? – he can do it, although judging from the avatars of the canned reporters, they would need to seek out some outside talent. Most of the former writers look exactly like you think they would, SSRI-gobbling neuroticas and push-upaphobic soyboyz who, if they weren’t scribbling for a dying tabloid, would probably be out yelling obscenities at the heroic middle-class men of ICE who protect them from the savages.

What was Jeff Bezos getting for his money? Did you know that they had 13 people on the climate change beat? They were paying over a dozen people to write about a giant hoax. I think I’m going to go approach Storm Paglia at Townhall to see if I can get a personal research assistant to put on the Unicorn beat. Just kidding. We have to earn our views because we don’t have a zillionaire daddy subsidizing us.

Some people on the Right were kinder than I about the layoffs, cautioning that we shouldn’t take pleasure in our enemies’ suffering. This is so very wrong. I’ve never been a fan of the idea of conservatism without the concept of retribution. Too often, we are told that to be good people, we must forgo just consequences. But failing to pay back our enemies is only going to get us more reason to need vengeance. Our enemies aren’t going to take our weakness for anything but weakness. Time to give pain a chance. Time to laugh our tails off at the suffering of the fired Democrat transcriptionists of the Washington Post.

“Conservatism without retribution”—an excellent formulation, expressing an idea that I have no more patience with or use for than does COL Schlichter. “Right and proper”? You bet your sweet bippy.

Publick Notice

Comments still ain’t working, gots no clue why. Trying to get that figured out now, we’ll see how it goes. I swear, for a plugged nickel I’d gladly pull apart ever goddamned hacker/spammer/whatever you could point me at.

Update! Post title links going to single-post pages are down also. Surpassing strange, I must say. Fucking scumfucks can’t leave a pipsqueak li’l blogger-dude alone. The way this shit just keeps happening over and over again is almost enough to make a fella just throw up his hands and walk away.

Trump’s best hire?

Can only be the remarkable Marco Rubio for SecState. He just went to Munich and demonstrated why.

Rubio on Fire! We Won’t Be ‘Polite and Orderly Caretakers of the West’s Managed Decline’
Rubio told European leaders that the post–Cold War era is over, that the “euphoria of this triumph led us to a dangerous delusion: that we had entered, quote, ‘the end of history;’ that every nation would now be a liberal democracy; that the ties formed by trade and by commerce alone would now replace nationhood; that the rules-based global order – an overused term – would now replace the national interest; and that we would now live in a world without borders where everyone became a citizen of the world.”

He said that this idea was foolish and “ignored both human nature and it ignored the lessons of over 5,000 years of recorded human history.”

While championing the Donald Trump administration’s America-First foreign policy, he also reaffirmed the bond between our nations, saying that the Western Hemisphere may be our home, but we’re a child of Europe, and we share history, culture, and heritage. “We belong together,” he said.

But he also made it clear that the world has reached a turning point and course correction is required. Europe must save itself because, “we in America have no interest in being polite and orderly caretakers of the West’s managed decline.”

“The fundamental question we must answer at the outset is what exactly are we defending, because armies do not fight for abstractions. Armies fight for a people; armies fight for a nation. Armies fight for a way of life,” he said. “And that is what we are defending: a great civilization that has every reason to be proud of its history, confident of its future, and aims to always be the master of its own economic and political destiny.”

Rubio also spoke of how “we can no longer place the so-called global order above the vital interests of our people and our nations,” and how we must reform global institutions. He used the United Nations as an example, explaining that it has potential to be a “tool for good” but right now, it’s basically useless.

Great, GREAT stuff from the man Trump blithely dismissed as “Little Marco,” hurled right into the teeth of the dying Eurolion in his very den. At this point, I’m happy to say that Trump was all wet on that one; as he has shown again and again during his tenure at State, Marco Rubio is anything BUT “little.”

Privilege

The rich are different from you or I.

Any decent, self-respecting nation would have lynched this filthy, over-entitled oxygen thief long, long ago, just on general principle.

Unfair, unreasonable, unkind

Blacks have to show photo ID to:

Buy themselves a quart of OE down at de sto’

Board a plane, train, or in some places a bus

Attend a rap show or NBA game

Rent a room down at the local hot-sheet flop

Among many, many other situations wherein a valid ID is required. So how is it, then, that shitlibs are flopping around on the damn floor like landed carp over the unthinkable(!) prospect of needing to show proper ID to vote? Gutfeld, bless him, ain’t having any.

Gutfeld Destroys the Democrats’ Voter ID Double Standard, and It’s Glorious
Greg Gutfeld did what Greg Gutfeld does best on his late-night show this week: he grabbed a Democrat talking point, shook it until the hypocrisy fell out, and then held it up for everyone to see. The target was Democrats’ favorite attack line against voter ID laws, and specifically the SAVE Act, which they have hysterically branded as “Jim Crow 2.0.”

Gutfeld opened by zeroing in on the left’s most glaring contradiction. “You got to hand it to the Democrats,” he said. “On one hand, they think a child can handle the decision to lop off their genitals, but then on the other, they think black people can’t get a photo ID.”

To make his point, Gutfeld played a clip of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer having a meltdown over the legislation. “The SAVE Act is an abomination,” Schumer declared. “It’s Jim Crow 2.0 across the country.” Schumer went on to vow, “We are going to do everything we can to stop it.”

From there, Gutfeld dismantled the comparison itself. “To them, showing an ID to vote is no different than forcing people to drink from separate water fountains,” he said. The absurdity becomes obvious when placed next to everyday life. “Meanwhile, you need an ID to buy Sudafed, rent a U-Haul, and date Bill Belichick.”

The contradiction gets worse when Democrats lecture Americans about trusting elections. “The same people who tell you borders are fake, gender is a choice, and crime is a social construct,” Gutfeld said, “suddenly insist elections should be taken on faith.”

He closed by boiling the issue down to its core. “The SAVE Act isn’t about stopping people from voting,” Gutfeld said. “It’s about stopping people from cheating.”

Hey now, Greg, they resemble those remarks.

Memezapoppin’!

Welcome to this week’s installment of our Wednesday (Thursday this week, since I was a bit uder the weather yesterday and went to bed early) meme feature, folks. Links to the “found via” sources will be attached to the specific MiQ’s (Memes in Question) whenever I can remember them, which likely won’t be very often. Only the first two memes will appear above the fold to save on bandwidth usage, since I assume not everybody who shows up at this here websty will want to see all of them. This intro will appear at the top of each week’s Memezapoppin’! post. Enjoy, funny-pitcher lovers.

Pet peeve(s)

Bold mine.

Rest in peace to the victims. Gender ideology must be utterly decimated before it continues to destroy more innocent souls.

“Decimated,” you say? Why sure, if what you want is to decrease gender ideologies’ prevalence by a whopping one-tenth. See, “decimate” has a very specific meaning, and I do not think that it means what you think it means.

decimate

verb dec·i·mate ˈde-sə-ˌmāt decimated; decimating Synonyms of decimate transitive verb

1 history : to select by lot and kill every tenth member of

decimate a regiment

More.

In the military of ancient Rome, decimation (from Latin decimatio ‘destruction of a tenth’) was a form of military discipline in which every tenth man in a group was executed by members of his cohort. The discipline was used by senior commanders in the Roman army to punish units or large groups guilty of capital offences, such as cowardice, mutiny, desertion, and insubordination, and for pacification of rebellious legions.

The historicity of the punishment during the early and middle republic is questioned, and it may be an ahistorical rhetorical construct of the late republic. Regardless, the first well-attested instance was in 72 BC during the war against Spartacus under the command of Marcus Licinius Crassus. Further instances followed in the next century, mostly occurring during times of civil strife, before falling out of use after AD 69. There is evidence of the punishment’s revival in the post-classical world, such as during the Thirty Years’ War and World War I.

In modern English, the word is used most commonly not to mean a destruction of a tenth but rather annihilation.

Which common usage is totally fucked up, back-asswards, and wrong. Hence, the great annoyance on my part therefrom.

Update! Another longstanding pet peeve of mine.

How can anyone seriously still pretend we don’t have an Islamist extremism problem?

‘Far too many of the mosques in Britain are teaching Islamism. It’s being normalised and not being called out.

Um, sorry to have to tell ya and all, guys, but you Brit wankers have neither an “Islamist extremism” problem nor an “Islamism” problem. What you have, in fact, is an Islam problem. “Islamist” and “Islamic extremism” are merely rhetorical dodges deployed by pusillanimous Westerners to aid them in avoiding the actual issue.

Updated update! Yet another of my personal pet peeves, this particular one a hobby-horse I’ve been flogging the crap out of for a good, long while now.

See that garbage? “Female in a dress with” etc etc. FEMALE. Except, of course, that the TR shooter was no such thing—the violently insane perp was an 18 year old Pyrsynzz of Penis™ name of Jesse Strang. Which makes this kid, far from anything recognizable as “transgender,” a fucking TRANSVESTITE. Precisely as I’ve been insisting for many years now. Bootlessly, natch.

This is and ever shall be the case with all the Mrs Bruce “Barbara” Jenners of the world unless and until such time as they see fit to have the male courting tackle hacked off and tossed into a medical waste incinerator, like my former legs.

The biogenic carbon cycle

What it is, how it works.

Down with “Show more”! Down, I say!

Sama Hoole
@SamaHoole Activist: “Every cow adds carbon to the atmosphere.”

Farmer: “Only if the total number of cows is increasing.”

Activist: “What?”

Farmer: “Stable populations are carbon neutral. Methane breaks down in twelve years back to CO2. Same CO2 the grass absorbed last year.”

Activist: “But it’s still emissions…”

Farmer: “It’s a cycle. Carbon goes: grass to cow to methane to CO2 to grass. Round and round.”

Activist: “That’s not how it works.”

Farmer: “That’s exactly how the biogenic carbon cycle works.”

Activist: “I’ve never heard of that.”

Farmer: “Because admitting ruminants are climate neutral doesn’t sell plant-based products.”

Activist: “You’re making this up.”

Farmer: “Published research. Look up ‘biogenic carbon cycle.’ I’ll wait.”

Ahh, but see, that’s ACTUAL science. Shitlibs demonstrably don’t give a tinker’s damn about that stuff.

Via BRM, who continues:

That’s a beautifully simple explanation – and every word of it is true. You’ll never hear vegetarian and vegan activists admit to that, though. If they did, they’d expose their scam operation for what it is. They rely on scaring people into taking them seriously – and this tweet demonstrates that they’re anything but serious. Their loud screams about the permanent climate damage caused by eating meat and breeding cows are nothing more than “sound and fury, signifying nothing”.

Pass it on. The more people who understand this, the better.

Indeed. They can lie all the like, and they will. So why should sensible people make it easy for the stupid bastards?

“He builds”

Hey, remember when Trump was basically razing the White House to the ground so he could put up some kind of Trump Ego Museum or some such shite?

Yeah, about all that.

A Ballroom Built the Trump Way
God gave President Donald Trump the drive to move forward on passion projects; he doesn’t wait for permission slips to prove his competence: He builds.

His latest update on White House ballroom project follows a familiar pattern he’s perfected over the years: on budget, ahead of schedule, and paid for without touching taxpayer dollars.

Trump has stated that the Great Ballroom will serve future presidential inaugurations, turning a long-discussed idea into physical reality, funded largely from his own pocket and additional private donations.

The ballroom project spans roughly 90,000 square feet and includes a new East Wing designed to match the White House’s historic scale. Plans include a 22,000-square-foot banquet hall, office space for the first lady, and additional functional areas for state events.

There are echoes from Trump’s past that revive similar skepticism. Long ago, in a completely different New York City than today’s, the city spent years failing to renovate Wollman Rink in Central Park. Trump watched ballooning costs, stepped in, promised completion in months, and delivered ahead of schedule and under budget.

The rink reopened in 1986 and became profitable.

It’s a great example of the government stalling and private execution finishing the job. That pattern remains intact decades later.

Not to nearly as broad an extent as it ought to, but in Amerika v2.0 you takes whatever small favors you gets.
