Suicidal madness

A/K/A Leftism.

The most self-destructive pillars of lefty lunacy finally begin to fall
The grotesque sexual misconduct involving Democratic politicians — from New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo to California Rep. Eric Swalwell — has finally put #MeToo to rest.

We were reminded of its demise when it was revealed that Maine senatorial candidate and socialist heartthrob Graham Platner had been discovered to possess a long social media history of crude and pornographic put-downs of women.

The demise of Black Lives Matter offers another example of a recurring left-wing phenomenon: movements that begin as moral crusades and end as self-parodies.

Almost every BLM cause célèbre has proved fraudulent, following a long tradition that stretches from Al Sharpton’s Tawana Brawley myth to the Duke lacrosse scandal.

The aftermath of the death of George Floyd did lasting damage to the country that still reverberates.

What accounts for these bouts of periodic, collective and suicidal madness?

First, the craziness is almost always birthed in the contemporary, affluent and leisured West, which alone has the capital and resources to afford such freakish sideshows.

Second, the frenzies are usually the creation of the left, predictably birthed in universities, the media and the bureaucracies.

They appear with familiar symptoms. The irredeemable, deplorable and “garbage” hoi polloi are supposedly too dense to be properly schooled and thus must be frightened to death in order to adopt agendas that otherwise appear to them as utterly insane.

Junk your natural-gas dryer and grill, or face massive floods on your coasts. Drop the SAT and defund the police or face endless race riots.

Hire thousands of race and gender commissars or be forever tagged as racists, sexists, homophobes and transphobes.

Open the border and let illegal aliens enter by the millions, and thus pay partial penance for “whiteness.”

The left is correct that few Western voters will openly embrace the unpopular elite agenda of racial fixations, globalism, laxity on crime and degrowth environmentalism.

We can’t be rid of the Leftard mind-disease soon enough to suit me.

Is the LGBTQ+++ Insurrection finally over?

We should only be that lucky.

We knew corporations would abandon Pride. It still hurts. | Opinion

Follows, much anguished, overwrought wringing of hands, natch. To wit:

At the start of June, I stopped by Target while running errands in the SoHo neighborhood of New York. The store had just set out its summer merchandise, displaying an array of clothes, accessories and sunscreens nestled within a series of red arches.

As I hurried past tank tops and patterned shorts toward the pet section, I stopped to look at the Pride collection.

There wasn’t much – a single display of generic rainbow-colored shirts and home goods rested toward the back of the store, with no signs declaring June to be LGBTQ+ Pride Month.

I realized at that moment that in spite of the fact that I live in New York City, and in spite of the fact that I am part of the LGBTQ+ community, I hadn’t seen many corporate advertisements related to this year’s celebration. I think I know why.

It seems that the era of rainbow capitalism that has endured since Obergefell v. Hodges made same-sex marriage the law of the land in 2015 is no longer a guaranteed moneymaker for brands, leading them to downsize their efforts or abandon them altogether.

Awww, poor widdle wambikins: a miniscule, stastically-insignificant fraction of the population is upset because they don’t have racks upon racks upon racks of merchandise celebrating their weirdo sexual kinks within easy reach. Hard not to be shocked by that, it’s SO damned unfair. Gee, wonder who this bubbleheaded bull-dagger bimbelina thinks is to blame for all this trouble and woe? Three guesses, first two don’t etc.

It’s the continuation of a troubling trend that began in 2024, with the reelection of President Donald Trump.

Yeppers, thought so. Ace posits a much more likely explanation of what’s behind the LGBTQ+++ Mafia’s sudden fall from (scape)grace.

You kept making more and more extravagant demands, testing people’s inclination to be “nice” to avoid confrontation, until those demands became so oppressive they stopped being “nice.”

This is entirely on you. Or, it’s entirely on the gay grifter activist class, who can only justify their phony-baloney jobs by making greater and greater claims on the public’s sympathies and attention so they can show they’re “getting results” for their $300,000 per year jobs.

Until the public gets sick of the endless extortion campaign and starts saying “No.”

We thought we could appease you but you demonstrated again and again that you were unappeasable and each fresh concession we granted you just encouraged further aggression. You know, like a communist dictator or Islamic conqueror.

The Gay Lobby assured us, over and over, that “gay marriage will have no effect on your life at all.” When objectors said “gay marriage will lead to demands for ‘trans acceptance’ next, you called those people liars and said that will never, ever happen.

Well, you fucking lied. You lied and lied and lied until you got what you wanted, then you began making the exact kind of demands that people said you’d make when you got what you said you wanted.

And you’re surprised people are fed up with your bullshit?

But…but…but…but…teh homophobic BIGOTRY, you guys!!!

Moar stupid “liberal” tricks

It’s not that they don’t know anything. Its that so much of what they think they know…isn’t so.

First, you had shitlib sooperdoopergenius and all-round assclown Rahm Hakeem Abdullah Mohammed Emmanuel Jeffries whinging about how Trump isn’t a real fan of the basketball Knickerbockers, despite The Donald’s having been attending Knicks games at the MSG with various celebrity and/or hot-babe guests for about, oh, thirty-forty years or thereabouts, which assorted people proceeded to confirm via scads of photographic evidence in support of.

And then Kathy Hoccchhhptui stepped in, with one of the most spectacular self-beclownings of all time. To wit:

What’s the point of even questioning Trump’s fandom? It’s stupid, and Democrats only embarrass themselves when they try. Heck, it was just a couple of weeks ago that Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-N.Y.) set this same trap for herself when Trump’s plans to attend the game were first made public. She posed what she thought was a clever trivia challenge. “I’d ask him to name the starting lineup of the 1993 championship team and see how he does,” Hochul said.

Just one leeeeetle problem wid dat, Madame Goobernator. To wit ag’in:

The Knicks didn’t win the championship in 1993. Their last title came in 1973. Hochul’s gotcha question exposed a gap in her own knowledge of the franchise she was pretending to defend.

Heh. What a maroon. Not to worry though, Kath, thanks for playing; as a consolation prize, you’ll be receiving a copy of the home version of our game and this lovely oven mitt with your initials hand-stitched on the back.

“Rangers, lead the way!”

Dave Manney offers a stirring salute to Reagan’s celebrated “Boys of Point Du Hoc,” for a seriously difficult job well done.

The U.S. Army Rangers climbed into legend at Pointe du Hoc on D-Day because the mission didn’t end when the plan broke. Lt. Col. James Rudder, commander of the 2nd Ranger Battalion, led Companies D, E, and F toward 100-foot cliffs on June 6, 1944.

Their job was brutally simple: scale the cliff, seize the German position, and destroy the six guns that were zeroed on Omaha and Utah Beaches. Rudder was wounded during the fight, but he stayed in command while his men fought upward under machine-gun fire, rifle, grenade, and artillery fire.

Allied planners expected six German 155 mm guns at the top. The Rangers reached the positions and found gun pits, but the guns were moved, with telephone poles replacing them. The Germans had moved the guns south from their prepared sites before the landing.

A lesser force might have stopped there, reported the surprise, and waited for new orders.

Rudder’s Rangers kept moving.

And damned if those courageous, intrepid warriors didn’t do just that. Read every word of it, and just sit back and marvel at the kind of tough, dauntless, determined man this country once turned out en masse. If the story of how the now well-known Rangers motto came to be doesn’t make your heat beat a little faster, then you ain’t anything I’d recognize as a true American, boyo.

Manney closes his tribute thusly:

“Rangers lead the way” wasn’t a slogan in the morning; it was a record of what they had already done. Thank God for such men.

Indeed, sir. Seconded, with all my heart and soul.

Inline update! Forgot to include the link to Manney’s excellent article, which can be found here.

Update! Instaglenn links another rousing account of D-Day derring-do, this one with young Brigadier General and Medal of Honor recoipient Theodore Roosevelt Jr in the starring role. I knew about this one already; it’s more well-known than the Rangers one, I believe, but nonetheless remarkable. Another Must Read for sure, on this of all days.

Updated update! Okay, okay, dammit, I just gotta put an excerpt in.

I want to tell you one story from June 6, 1944. A story of a man who was already broken by war a quarter century earlier. He had wealth, fame, and luxury. He had no need or requirement to serve in World War II after having courageously and effectively led American soldiers in combat in World War I. He was wounded and gassed in that war, leaving him with lifelong health problems. Not one person would have thought poorly of him if he did not serve in World War II.

Theodore Roosevelt Jr., the son of President Teddy Roosevelt, signed up to serve anyway when World War II started. He led a regiment of the 1st Infantry Division in the campaigns in North Africa in 1943. By D-Day, he was a brigadier general and the assistant division commander of the 4th Infantry Division. Although he had severe arthritis and was partly disabled by his wounds from World War I, he insisted on going ashore in the first landing wave on the morning of June 6. He was the oldest man on the beach, the only general in the first wave, and very likely the only soldier using a cane that morning.

His initial wave landed in the wrong position — more than a mile from the beach they were supposed to hit. When he realized they were off target, General Roosevelt personally scouted the area, came back to his men, and famously declared, “We’ll start the war from right here!” At 56 years of age, with a heart condition that he had hidden from Army doctors, the general stormed that beach with a wooden cane in one hand and an M1911A1 pistol in the other.

During the entire day, Roosevelt never took cover. As the beach was being shelled and swept with machine-gun fire, he walked up and down the beach rallying his soldiers, telling jokes, and using his cane to point out where he wanted them to go. He personally led multiple assaults on strongpoints and directed traffic off the beach. Because of his calm under fire, bravery, and leadership, Utah Beach became the most successful landing on D-Day. His units suffered fewer than 300 casualties and achieved most of their objectives for Day 1.

Thirty-six days later, on July 12, 1944, Roosevelt suffered a heart attack and died while still leading men in combat.

He was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor.

General Theodore Roosevelt Jr. is buried at the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial in Colleville-sur-Mer, France. He rests in the section with the soldiers of the 4th Infantry Division; alongside the men he led.

Well earned, richly deserved, probably long since past due, that MoH. Bless him; there walked a Real Man. I’m sure his dad was proud enough of his amazing son to almost burst from it, and smiled down from Heaven at his exploits, his bold and inspiring leadership qualities in direct command of men in combat.

The word “hero” is much overused at this point, thrown about far too lightly to suit me. But if anybody ought to be called one, it’s gotta be GEN Teddy Roosevelt Jr.

Twee, overentitled brats, meet the word consequences

Yet another of those occasions when, after the initial flush of hearty approbation, one can only shake one’s head ruefuly and softly mutter, “What the hell took ya so long, anyhow?

Remember back in March when Marxist influencer Hasan Piker, members of Code Pink, and other commies went to Cuba to essentially back up the regime, denounce Donald Trump and the United States, and make a mockery of the lives of the Cuban people? Well, it looks like they Trump administration isn’t letting that go lightly.

Fox New Digital is reporting that the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has issued administrative subpoenas to Piker and Medea Benjamin, the co-founder of Code Pink. According to Fox, it’s “part of a wider investigation into whether U.S. organizations and leaders violated U.S. laws and sanctions in supporting Cuba’s communist regime.”

If you’ll recall, Piker and Benjamin were some of the faces of the group “Nuestra América Convoy,” mostly communist sympathizers who traveled to Cuba from multiple countries. They claimed they were there to bring humanitarian aid and investigate how U.S. sanctions and blockades were impacting the people of the country, but they spent their time cozying up with the Cuban regime and left the island nation shouting the regime’s propagandic talking points.

While in Cuba, the group also stayed in a five-star hotel with power and held a concert (spoiler alert: it wasn’t acoustic) while much of the country suffered a blackout. They wined and dined at the hotel, while many people in the country dig through garbage to find food. They also took vehicle tours through the streets of Havana, as if they were on some sort of poverty porn safari tour and left claiming the people were out in the streets, having a good time.

Anyway, these subpoenas are called “Requests for Information,” and they seek to find out more about the financial, logistical, and communications information involved in planning the trip to determine if they violated any of the many U.S. sanctions on Cuba, including potentially unlicensed travel-related transactions, financing, logistics, delivery of goods, or contacts with sanctioned Cuban entities/government personnel.

Fox reported earlier on Saturday that the Justice and Treasury Departments are “investigating U.S. nonprofits and activist groups for allegedly coordinating lobbying, messaging, fundraising, delegations, and political organizing efforts with Cuban government officials as part of a possible foreign influence campaign operating inside the United States.”

According to Fox, 145 U.S. organizations that report around $1 billion in combined revenue “are mobilizing in support of the Cuban government and the Communist Party of Cuba.

Meh, it’ll do for starters, I suppose. But really, the heck with all that Subpoenas-But-Not-QUITE-Subpoenas ducking and diving, shucking and jiving, &c; instead, lock the rotten, traitorous bastards up and throw away the stinking key—at least until we can get the 20-trapdoors-no-waiting factory-style-execution gallows assembled; the stairs to the main platform built and bolted to the side; and the nooses all properly knotted.

In fact, we probably oughta consider having somebody with a HUUUGE assembly line like, say, Ford or GM, start cranking said mass-hanging platforms out and getting them distributed to every urban zone, college town, and other shitlib enclaves in the nation most ricky-tick, so’s we can beat the rush and not fall behind.

Truer words were never etc

God DAMN but I love this guy.

“On fire”? I should say so, yeah. PREACH it to ’em, Pete!

A good bloodbath

Every nation needs one now and then, just to clear the air. According to Jefferson, at any rate, we’re long overdue for another.

Party of Assassins
The latest Trump assassin wasn’t a radical. He was a Democrat.

There was nothing radical about Cole Tomas Allen: the attempted White House Correspondents’ Dinner assassin. Allen’s manifesto reads a lot like that of the previous three-named assassin Ryan Wesley Routh who was stalking President Trump at a golf game.

Apart from the explicit murder plots, there is nothing in Routh’s ‘Dear World’ letter and Allen’s manifesto that you wouldn’t find in the Washington Post, a Jimmy Kimmel or Stephen Colbert monologue or a rant by a Democrat member of Congress. Routh was obsessed with Iran and Ukraine, sounding like Thomas Friedman when he complained that Trump had “ended relations with Iran like a child and now the Middle East has unraveled.”

Allen offered even more generic foreign policy criticisms that seemed plucked from network newscasts and fake news coverage of Trump’s campaign against illegal alien criminals, drug cartels, Islamic terrorists in Iran and the cutoff of funds to USAID, ranting about being (“raped in a detention camp”, “fisherman executed without trial” “schoolkid blown up” or “a child starved”).

Did Allen really care about events in Iran or Latin America? Could he even tell them apart?

Rather than Marxism, Routh and Allen offered tepid shopworn liberalism as their justification for murder, “U.S presidents must at bare minimum embody the moral fabric that is America and be kind, caring and selfless and always stand for humanity” and “the United States of America are ruled by the law, not by any one or several people. In so far as representatives and judges do not follow the law, no one is required to yield them anything so unlawfully ordered.”

This is the stuff of a Ken Burns op-ed and it shows that both men were more influenced by liberal Trump Derangement Syndrome media products than by Antifa or radical groups.

Allen slurs President Trump as a “pedophile, rapist and traitor”. This line is so commonplace in liberal circles that you can find it all across Bluesky, where the attempted assassin had an account, sold on t-shirts and popping up in op-eds. Social media personalities, talk show hosts and members of Congress have used similar rhetoric to refer to the 47th president.

There’s not much of a political critique. Just a grab bag of lines from MSNBC.

As I’ve said so many times I’m even beginning to bore myself: if Goosesteppin’ Leftists want another Civil War, then Real Americans ought to see to it that they get one…all they want of it, and then some. Because, as stipulated in Mike’s Iron Law #873: They will NOT stop. They will NEVER stop. They will have to BE stopped.

One of these next times, they’re going to get Trump at last. The morning after they do, NYC, Chitcago, SF, and LA ought all to be on fire. By sundown that same evening, battered and/or hacked Leftard corpses should be strewn about so thickly they clog the streets of every city, town, and hamlet across the FUSA.

The meat of the matter

This. This, right here.

Winning in Iran Is Worth Losing the Midterms
There has been much hand-wringing among us conservatives about the upcoming midterms. Will we win them? Lose them? What do the polls say? What will be the deciding factor? The economy? Some 11th hour scandal? Or, more pressingly, Iran? What should we do if Iran proves to be a detriment to our chances?

The hard truth is that the Iran War needs to be fought to completion. If that takes another week, another month, or another year, it needs to be done. The worst possible thing Trump can do is to cut a deal just for the sake of cutting a deal and going home with enough time to recover in the polls before midterms.

Because all that will do is leave the enemy intact to fight another day. Assuredly, they will.

A-yup. With ya so far, dude. BUT…

Do I want to lose the midterms? No. But I think a midterm loss will be a lot less devastating than its currently being made out to be.

Annnnnd that’s where ya lost me. Well, kinda-sorta, anyhoo. Fact is, ANY loss to the SatanCrats from here on out will be more than devastating, not least because the first thing they’re gonna do is undo every good thing Trump managed to accomplish this time around. Y’know, just like Bribem did LAST time around.

What it all comes down to at this late date is this: destroying the D卐M☭CRATs utterly is now every bit as urgent as destroying the Mad Mullah regime in Iran is. The only saving grace I can descry, re the author’s argument, is that, as we already know all too well, destroying the Dims is gonna require a lot more of Real Americans than just winning an election or three. In fact, irony of ironies, it will require many of the same things that destroying the Mullah regime will.

Update! A point worth making, which I opted to omit earlier but on further reflection decided should be noted.

My point is, losing the midterms won’t be an unmitigated disaster because Trump holds the veto pen, Trump makes the military decisions, and Trump can outmaneuver anything they lob at him. A midterm loss would be the price we pay for a resounding 2028 landslide when a Vance/Rubio steamroller crushes whatever flax seed munching, non-binary clown car the Democrats unveil as their next sacrificial lamb.

When the 2028 campaign seasons kicks into high gear, we will have the previous two years working to our advantage. We will be able to show, again, just how insane the left behaves when it is given just a modicum of power. And we will be able to show that the MAGA Republicans were the only ones in the last half-century who decisively dealt with the Iran problem.

Fair enough, I suppose. But can we safely assume that Leftard insanity amounts to a deal-breaker for a majority of us? For enough of us to even matter?

“Pride Month” is CANCELLED

About fucking time.

🚨 GREAT NEWS: Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee signs a resolution telling Pride Month to SCREW OFF, instead declaring June as “NUCLEAR FAMILY MONTH”

The left is LOSING IT!

“The nuclear family, consisting of one husband, one wife, and any biological, adopted, or fostered children, is God’s design for familial structure and has been the bedrock of society since the creation of the world,” the resolution says

Amazing decision.

It is that for sure. Which is kinda sad when you think about it; decisions like this one should be the order of the day—not “amazing,” not “extraordinary,” just part of the usual routine. And yet, somehow, here we all are.

Good on ya, Gov.

Update! Meanwhile, up in the People’s Republic of Taxachusetts:

Jeez-O-Pete. Bill Lee’s Tennessee and Massachew-zits are NOT the same, and for that denizens of the Volunteer State can be deeply, deeply thankful.

Stupid Leftist tricks

Not a lot to add to this.

If you tax them into penury, they will flee. As Stephen quips, they’re willfully turning themselves into a third-world nation, with all the peace, prosperity, and happy fun times that status implies. You’d think they’d know better by now, the stupid fools. After all, it’s not as if there aren’t instructive examples aplenty of where such idiocy always, always, ALWAYS winds up, they’re everywhere you care to look.

Make.It. SO

Fret not, foks; that loud POP-POP-POPPITY-POP! sound you keep hearing is just “liberal” heads exploding, from sea to shining sea.

Rep. Ogles Proposes Amending the 22nd Amendment to Allow Trump to Serve a Third Term
WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Andy Ogles introduced a House Joint Resolution to amend the Constitution of the United States to allow a President to be elected for up to but no more than three terms. The language of the proposed amendment reads as follows:

“No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than three times, nor be elected to any additional term after being elected to two consecutive terms, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice.”

“President Trump’s decisive leadership stands in stark contrast to the chaos, suffering, and economic decline Americans have endured over the past four years. He has proven himself to be the only figure in modern history capable of reversing our nation’s decay and restoring America to greatness, and he must be given the time necessary to accomplish that goal. To that end, I am proposing an amendment to the Constitution to revise the limitations imposed by the 22nd Amendment on presidential terms. This amendment would allow President Trump to serve three terms, ensuring that we can sustain the bold leadership our nation so desperately needs,” said Congressman Ogles.

Oh HELLS muhfuggin’ yeah! Though I’d guesstimate it has no chance whatsoever of passing, much less being implemented—which I’m sure Ogles knows as well as the rest of us do—I’m still one hunnert and umpteen percent on board with this move.

And bang, zoom! Just like that, Congressman Ogles’ über-canny political maneuver goes into the “Win” column—if only because of how delightfully it’s gonna get under The Enemy’s skin and just irk the everloving tar out of those clot-head pantywaists, and nothing else. Trust me, I am in no way, shape, or form joshing y’all about this: for shitlibs, Ogles’ Big Idear is gonna smart awhile.

Most likely, they’ll still be feigning shock and revulsion over this black-belt exhibition of Instructor-level Stunt-Politicking for years to come, as their Jurassic Media poodles blind-loyally take up their customary role with eagerness and aplomb, ferociously snapping, yapping, and growling, pretending they’re much more fearsome Guardians of Forbidden Knowledge than they in fact are.

Yes, this abominable Crime Against Duh Peepul amounts to beyond-reasonable-doubt confirmation of Our Side’s genetically-instilled penchant for duplicity, guile, perfidious anti-Superstate agitation, and E-ville Moste Foule™ in the “minds” of their loathsome ilk, which imagines Normal American Whypeepuh to be nothing more nor less than the final straw which broke the back of Our Sacred Democracy© past any hope of repair or restoration.

Mark the date, folks, and believeth Ye Humble Aulde Bloggehoste when he proclaimeth unto you: these pitiful Pearls will still be weeping, wailing, and gnashing their teeth over the mountebank Ogles’ deliberately provocative and reckless H88 Crime sixty/seventy years from now, perhaps much, much longer than, even. If this latest involuntary spasm of bargain-basement histrionics—quelle horreur, quel dommage!—turns out to be insufficient impetus to goad the slope-shouldered, sunken-chested, gender-indeterminate Lefty Loser Legions (ie, pAntifa, Black Lies Murder, the ASWP, Pink Rifles, to name but a few) into taking to the streets en masse and wreaking a grownup-size dose of Duh Peepuls “Justice” upon the severely dangerous, perilously imminent menace which all intelligent, compassionate, well-meaning Leftist-Americans acknowledge the aptly-named Basket of Deplorables to be, I haven’t the vaguest clue what might do the trick.

“Unprovoked”

Yeah right, you Jew-hating, Israel-baiting, Mullah-fellating dick with ears.

Trump Isn’t Starting a War, He’s Ending One
As of this writing, the United States and Israel have begun what I can only assume to be the first round of military strikes on Iran. I also assume that the eventual goal is regime change, effected by the United States, but driven by the Iranian people. And I’m not alone. Over the past few days, the so-called “think” tanks are falling all over themselves to be the first to prophesy a quagmire, a “trap,” a “forever war,” and Iraq 3.0.

The dregs at Foreign Policy took a break from clamoring for a post-American world order to demand we not bomb Iran precisely to more quickly usher in said order. At Powerline blog, John Hinderaker gleefully straddles the fence as only he can by declaring his hope that Trump bombs the mullahs with the goal of regime change… and in the same sentence, expresses doubt that this will be accomplished. And if you’re willing to waste the brain cells, you can guess what ol’ Tucker’s position on it is.

But the absolute worst take must be from John Daniel Davison over at The Federalist. John’s main point is that if we allegedly “obliterated” Iran’s nuclear abilities with Operation Midnight Hammer, than why do we need to now bomb Iran again to prevent them from acquiring nuclear capabilities?

Um, well, because Iran is trying to rebuild them. As we knew they would. And if we keep bombing only their nuclear facilities, they will simply keep rebuilding them until the next Democrat gets elected president and we stop sending bombs and start sending pallets of cash again. So there’s that.

John writes, “At a certain point, it begins to look like the Trump administration is fishing for a reason to strike Iran. Sorry, but that’s not good enough.”

Fishing for a reason?

I’ll give you a few reasons, John. You tell me if they’re “good enough.”

  1. On November 4, 1979, the Iranian government took 52 Americans hostage for 444 days.
  2. The Iranian government helped create, fund, and arm Hezbollah and Hamas.
  3. On April 18, 1983, Hezbollah bombed the American embassy in Beirut, killing 63 people.
  4. On October 23, 1983, Iranian-backed terrorists bombed the American and French barracks in Beirut, killing 307 people.
  5. Over the next decade, Iranian-backed terrorists hijacked several planes, including TWA flight 847, which resulted in the killing of an American sailor.
  6. On July 22, 1985, Hezbollah bombed a synagogue, a Jewish nursing home, and a kindergarten in Copenhagen.
  7. On March 17, 1992, Hezbollah bombed the Israeli embassy in Buenos Aires, killing 29 people.
  8. On July 18, 1994, Hezbollah bombed a Jewish community center in Buenos Aires, killing 85 people.
  9. On June 25, 1996, Iranian-backed terrorists bombed Khobar Towers, killing 19 American servicemen.
  10. Iran provided training and expertise to al-Qaeda to commit the 1998 embassy bombings

That’s just the first half; he has plenty more, all of ’em good. And even the full 20 the author lists are by no stretch all of ’em. Bottom line? Simply this.

To be sure, there is risk involved. To our soldiers. To the anti-regime Iranian civilians. To a postwar possibility that the regime survives intact. But there is greater risk in blowing this one golden opportunity to end this war once and for all, so that the next four generations of our soldiers don’t have to deal with it.

With our perfect hindsight, we can continue to fill our diapers with our unvanquishable anxieties about George Bush and Colin Powell and missing WMDs and losing the post-9/11 goodwill of the French and losing the hearts and minds of Afghan goatherds… and in the process, we would have given the ayatollahs another 47 years, with all the Democrat surrenders, pallets of cash, and worthless pieces of paper about nuclear disarmament that they will entail.

Trump chose not to do that. His decision is risky, but it carries the moral fortitude of being indisputably on the right side of history. The dice have been rolled. We can get behind our leader, our troops, and the fight for a world free from Islamic terrorism. Or we can go see what Michael Moore is up to.

In Trump’s decision to strike Iran, he hasn’t started a “forever war.” He’s attempting to end one. Nothing good would have c(o)me had we retreated. The Iranian-led war of terror against the West would have resume(d), more confident and more brazen. The world would be a worse place, and a lot more innocent people are going to die. That’s not an opinion. That’s an indisputable fact.

Indeed it is—ALL of it.

Update! Gratifying details.

Shanaka Anslem Perera ⚡ @shanaka86
They did not bomb Iran. They waited for Iran’s entire leadership to sit down in the same room and then they bombed Iran.

Months of intelligence. Thousands of hours of surveillance and signal intercepts. One variable: the moment the Supreme Leader, the President, and senior military command gathered in a single location at the same time.

That moment was 8:15 this morning. Daylight. Every previous Israeli strike on Iran came at night. June 2025 launched in darkness. October 2024 after midnight. Iran’s entire air defense doctrine is built around the assumption that Israel attacks in the dark. Israel attacked in broad daylight because the target was not infrastructure. The target was a meeting.

Reuters confirms strikes targeted Khamenei and Pezeshkian. CNN confirms months of joint US-Israeli planning. Israeli officials confirmed the strike hit the location where Iran’s top officials were gathered. Whether Khamenei was moved before the strike or extracted after is the most consequential unknown on the planet right now. If before, someone inside Tehran’s inner circle told Jerusalem when and where the meeting would happen. If after, the strikes hit the room and he survived. Both scenarios are catastrophic for the regime.

I’m all good wid dat.

You keep using that word, law-abiding

I do not think that it means what you think it means.

Disappointment

I dunno, man, it’s always great to see a passel of Lefty screechweasels getting the snot pounded out of ‘em, but I was expecting we’d at least see some teeth, hair, and blood left on that icy sidewalk, if not bone fragments, eyeballs, ears, and/or severed limbs. Do better next time, fellas.

Mobocracy

Don’t look now, but we’re living in one.

The Moral Blackmailing of the American People
In Springfield, Illinois, in 1838, a young Abraham Lincoln delivered a powerful speech decrying the “ravages of mob law” throughout the land. Lincoln warned, in eerily prescient fashion, that the spread of a then-ascendant “mobocratic spirit” threatened to sever the “attachment of the People” to their fellow countrymen and their nation. Lincoln’s opposition to anarchy of any kind was absolute and clarion: “There is no grievance that is a fit object of redress by mob law.”

Unfortunately, it seems that every few years, Americans must be reminded anew of Lincoln’s wisdom. This week’s lethal Immigration and Customs Enforcement standoff in the Twin Cities is but the latest instance of a yearslong baleful trend.

On Wednesday, 37-year-old “queer activist” Renee Nicole Good was fatally shot by an ICE agent in Minneapolis. Good, who had barricaded her vehicle in an attempt to obstruct an active law enforcement operation, ignored agents’ requests to exit the vehicle and instead directed her car at one of the agents. Good actually then hit the agent, who was briefly hospitalized for his injuries. But before she could do even more damage, the agent shot and killed Good. The federal government has called Good’s encounter “an act of domestic terrorism” and said the agent shot in self-defense.

Suffice it to say Minnesota’s Democratic establishment does not see it this way.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey responded to the deployment of 2,000 immigration agents in the area and the deadly encounter by telling ICE to “get the f*** out of Minneapolis,” while Gov. Tim Walz called the shooting “totally predictable” and “totally avoidable.” Frey, who was also mayor during the George Floyd-inspired mayhem of 2020, has lent succor to the anti-ICE provocateurs, seemingly encouraging them to make Good a Floyd-like martyr and riot accordingly. As for Walz, he’s right that this tragedy was eminently “avoidable” — but not for the reasons he thinks. If the Biden-Harris administration hadn’t let in untold millions of unvetted illegal aliens, and if Walz’s administration hadn’t conveniently overlooked hundreds of Minnesotans — of mixed immigration status — defrauding taxpayers to the tune of billions of dollars, ICE never would have embarked on this particular operation.

Liberals and open-border activists play with fire when they so casually compare ICE, as Walz previously has, to a “modern-day Gestapo.” The fact is, ICE is not the Gestapo, President Donald Trump is not Hitler, and Charlie Kirk was not a goose-stepping brownshirt. To pretend otherwise is to deprive words of meaning and to live in the theater of the absurd.

But as dangerous as this rhetoric is for officers and agents, it is the moral blackmail and “mobocratic spirit” of it all that is even more harmful to the rule of law.

Most of us assumed this dispute had been settled once and for all by the early spring of 1865, but apparently we were mistaken.

What I most want to know at this juncture is why in the ever-lovin’ blue-eyed world is Tampon “Timmeh” Waltz, after doing everything his little pea-brain can come up with in the way of fomenting insurrection against the US federal G in his sorry-ass State, has not been locked up under multiple charges of treason already.

The underlying problem  all along has been that self-dramatizing Leftist morons have been getting away with personal threats, acts of violence against individuals, arson, looting, and wanton vandalism without ever facing Consequence One for any of it. They snarl ferociously about the supposed “evils” of private property, capitalism, and White People generally but have never been called out for any of their patent hatemongering. They must be forcibly made to understand that the Left’s permanent Get Away With It© card has been revoked, so their usual schtick is just liable to get them ventilated from here on out, as should have been the case all along.

Sorry, shitlibs, no more blanket Leftard Exemption for you. The days of having everything your own way are done. Things are different now, and I promise you ain’t gonna like it. In the immortal words of the great Curtis LeMay:

It’s a damnable shame that it’s come to this, but as I’ve told y’all about a blue million times: WE didn’t ask for it, WE didn’t want it, WE didn’t start it. THEY did.

Update! Number One with a bullet on the (S)Hit List.

Smarmy, smug, obnoxious, unlikable, as always. Also just dumb as a box of hair, too.

Updated update! Brother Billy has hisself an idear, and I gotta say I really, REALLY like it.

So I was thinking
A lot of mentions and RUMINT is that there are NOT enough cops out there to do what needs to be done, and that the White House is, per the usual, dithering on #TIA1807 (ie, the Insurrection Act of 1807—M) because smol-hats and ‘reasons’. OrangeManBad doesn’t WANT to be remembered for invoking the act (even tho right now, he really needs to, if only in Minnesota) and deploying Active Duty Troops.

Cowardly as all get out IMO
HOWEVER -I- thought of something. Remember the talk about granting Letters of Marque a few back BEFORE we snatched Maduro? I got idea… an utterly brutal and completely ruthless idea.

Why not just deputize ANY and ALL Veterans who want to volunteer, under a limited Contract, similar to what was done in Iraq. The DotMil didn’t have enough troops to run convoy escorts for quite a spell, so Blackwater stepped in, and did it quite well. Make it that Prior Contracting experience is a plus, and give us very liberal and open-ended Rules of Engagement.

Shoot First, For God Will Know His Own.

As well as enough Federal Legal Coverage that every. single. shoot. will be considered a “good shoot” and the trigger puller in question doesn’t get prosecuted after the fact at the State Level, due to the Federal Primacy Clause.

Also keep a metric shit-ton of irrevocable blank Presidential Pardons on hand…

Just in Case of later DemoncRat Fuckery years later.

I almost guarantee after the first 200-300 stupid fuckers get shot in the head that this shit’ll end so quick it make Soro’s head spin. And oh yes… Give a list of PRIMARY TARGETS that NEED to be “harvested” for the greater good. I’m pretty sure putting a bounty of $1 Million USD on Alex Soro’s head would attract enough attention to remove him and his Dad from the board. Even if he flees to the EU… lots of people there getting mighty poor and hungry these days from what I heard… for the E.U., make it $100 million, so they have enough to possibly even tempt the Soros Bodyguards on turning on him…

Now wouldn’t THAT be a kick in the head.

The CF comments section is pretty free-form and rough and tumble; tolerance level for rowdiness and misbehavior is fairly high here, but is NOT without limit.

Management is under no obligation whatever to allow the comments section to be taken over and ruined by trolls, Leftists, and/or other oxygen thieves, and will take any measures deemed necessary to prevent such. Conduct yourself with the merest modicum of decorum, courtesy, and respect and you'll be fine. Pick pointless squabbles with other commenters, fling provocative personal insults, issue threats, or annoy the host (me) and...you won't.

Should you find yourself sanctioned after running afoul of the CF comments policy as stated and feel you have been wronged, please download and complete the Butthurt Report form below in quadruplicate; retain one copy for your personal records and send the others to the email address posted in the right sidebar.

Please refrain from whining, sniveling, and/or bursting into tears and waving your chubby fists around in frustrated rage, lest you suffer an aneurysm or stroke unnecessarily. Your completed form will be reviewed and your complaint addressed whenever management feels like getting around to it. Thank you.
