Eat ’em up, Kid

Here’s hoping he sues them into penury so extreme the whole coven ends up living under a Detroit bridge.

“YOU DEFAMED ME ON LIVE TV — NOW PAY THE PRICE!” — Kid Rock Drops $50 Million Legal Bomb on The View and Whoopi Goldberg After Explosive On-Air Ambush
Los Angeles, CA – November 3, 2025 – The airwaves of daytime television just got a whole lot more litigious. In a move that’s already igniting debates from Nashville honky-tonks to New York greenrooms, rock-rap firebrand Kid Rock—real name Robert James Ritchie—has unleashed a blistering $50 million defamation lawsuit against ABC’s flagship gabfest The View and its outspoken co-host Whoopi Goldberg. What began as a seemingly innocuous segment on cultural divides and free speech has erupted into what Ritchie’s attorneys are calling “a full-frontal assault on truth and decency,” broadcast live to an audience of millions.

This isn’t your garden-variety celebrity spat. It’s a seismic showdown between a self-made provocateur who’s sold over 35 million albums worldwide and a media juggernaut that’s thrived on hot takes for nearly three decades. At its core, the suit accuses Goldberg and her co-hosts of orchestrating a “vicious, calculated ambush” that smeared Ritchie’s reputation, tanked potential business deals, and inflicted “profound emotional distress.” As one legal eagle close to the case put it, “They didn’t just disagree—they drew blood on national TV. Now, they’re going to bleed in the courtroom.”

It started innocently enough. Ritchie, clad in his signature trucker hat and leather vest, leaned into the couch with his trademark swagger, cracking jokes about his “Sweet Southern Sugar” tour and reminiscing about his Detroit roots. “Y’all know I love this country,” he drawled, his voice a gravelly mix of Motown soul and rebel yell. “From the factories to the farms, we’re all in this together.” The audience chuckled, and even Behar cracked a smile at his quip about “building bridges instead of walls—unless it’s a mosh pit.”

But then Goldberg struck. Drawing on Ritchie’s vocal support for Second Amendment rights and his criticisms of “woke Hollywood,” she unleashed a barrage that left the studio audience—and Ritchie himself—reeling. “You parade around like some redneck savior,” Goldberg fired off, her tone sharp as a switchblade, “but let’s be real: your ‘American spirit’ is just code for hate-mongering and division. You’ve built a career on shock value, alienating half the country with your beer-soaked rants. Is this really leadership, or just another grift?”

The room froze. Ritchie, mid-sip of water, set his glass down with a thud that echoed through the microphones. Co-host Hostin piled on, nodding vigorously: “Exactly—your so-called patriotism ignores the marginalized voices you’ve trampled on for years.” Haines chimed in with a softer but no less cutting remark about Ritchie’s “outdated machismo,” while Behar let out a theatrical eye-roll that drew laughs from the crowd. What followed was a 10-minute evisceration, with the panel painting Ritchie as a “dangerous relic” whose influence “poisons the well of public discourse.” No punches pulled, no commercial breaks for mercy.

Ritchie sat there, jaw clenched, as the barbs flew. He attempted a few deflections—”Hey, Whoopi, I respect the hustle, but facts over feelings, right?”—but the hosts steamrolled ahead, framing his political activism as “reckless endangerment” to democracy. By the segment’s end, the applause was polite but tepid, and Ritchie exited stage left without his usual fist-pump to the crowd. Backstage, sources say he was “fuming,” confiding to his team, “That wasn’t an interview—that was an execution.”
T’Was indeed—and was also perfectly typical of what these shit-slurpers and others of their vile ilk do every single day under the guise of “fair” and “honest” “journalism.” Like I said: Penury. Bridges. Immiseration. Etc etc.

Yeppers, go get ’em, Kid, and don’t stop Rocking until their livelihoods are lost, their shows canceled, and their networks are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Kid Rock Inc.

Via Lakeside Joe, who quips: “This is gonna be fun to watch.” Said a real mouthful there, buddy.

Update! Don’t know how I could have mentioned Kid Rock without appending this righteous Kid classic hereupon.

STUDY: TV News Spends Shutdown Playing Defense for Democrats
For the past month the big three broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) have hammered both Congressional Republicans and President Trump with a wall of negative shutdown coverage, while largely shielding Democrats from blame for the now-historic gridlock.

MRC analysts examined every evening newscast on ABC, CBS, and NBC between October 1 and October 31, 2025. Across the 67 reports and news briefs which discussed the government shutdown, 87 percent of the coverage favored Democrats. Analysts found 83 evaluative statements in which anchors or reporters were critical of Republicans, but just twelve criticizing Democrats.

Summary of Findings

  • Broadcast shutdown coverage heavily favored Democrats over Republicans (87% to 13%).
  • Only 12 reports (less than one fifth) even mentioned that Senate Democrats had refused to vote for a clean continuing resolution.
  • Not a single report mentioned that Democrats voted back in March to end the same Obamacare subsidies which they’re now demanding.

Democrats Routinely Shielded from Blame

Coverage across all three networks was conspicuously vague about how the shutdown even had occurred. There were only 12 instances in which any of the three outlets hinted that Senate Democrats had voted repeatedly against a continuing resolution. On both ABC and CBS, only 12.5 percent of reports on either network mentioned this basic detail. On NBC, that fact was included in just 31 percent of newscasts.

Reports often included lines about the Trump administration “pressuring Democrats,” or soundbites of Republicans demanding Democrats “fund the government,” but usually stopped short of explicitly acknowledging that Senate Democrats were the ones preventing a funding bill from passing.

No, SRSLY?!? Surely not. Why, even good ol’ Captain Renault himself couldn’t possibly be any more shocked than I am at this revoltin’ development.

Blue state voters declare open season on anyone not a Leftist Democreep

Annnnnd off we go.

BLUE WAVE:

  • Mikie Sherrill Clinches New Jersey Governor’s Mansion.
  • Decision Desk HQ Calls Virginia Attorney General’s Race for Jay ‘Two Bullets’ Jones.
  • Decision Desk HQ Has Already Called the Virginia Governor’s Race for Abigail Spanberger.
  • NYC Falls to Communism, Elects Mamdani Mayor.

UPDATE (FROM GLENN): A friend comments: “This Just In: Democrat areas elect democrats!” Yeah, but today’s Democrats are basically Communists, so…

ANOTHER UPDATE (ALSO FROM GLENN): From my former State Senator Stacy Campfield: “Republicans can’t be surprised that they aren’t winning races in places that they are also leaving in droves.”

As if that wasn’t bad enough:

In sum, then, even in races where the D卐M☭CRAT penchant for violence, murder, and balls-out fascism was most pungently on display, the voters still gave the Party of Hate HUGE wins. Which makes the whole shebang an undisguised endorsement of violence, murder, and balls-out fascism on the part of said voters.

Which in turn means that next time you hear some cum-gargling Milquetoast of a “conservative” pundit going way out of his way to smarmily point out that the shooters, looters, and Rent A Mob thugs are just a tiny handful of radical-fringe dead enders, all Real Americans will henceforth be required to immediately punch the lame punk-ass bitch in thw mouth until he shuts the fuck up and slinks the fuck off.

What a fucking disaster. But hey, next time for sure, right, fellas? MOAR HOPIUM, NURSE, STAT!!!

Update! Not that I want to come off TOO Eeyore-ish or anything here, but insty’s friend in Update #1 above is a deal too nonchalant to suit me with that “Democrat areas elect democrats” crack. It’s true enough as far as it goes., but there’s nonetheless a distinction. to be made here between being unperturbed and confident, and being a blind fool—and that distinction is a crucial one. Glenn acknowledges this bitter home truth when he reminds us that today’s D卐M☭CRATs are not those of yesteryear, nothing like. They are openly, even proudly Communists, whatever they may or may not have been in your Grandpa’s day.

Today’s total Communist sweep, winning even the precious few races Repub candidates were expected to at least be competetitive in, is a full-throated and unequivocal notfication that this is no longer America That Was, that the D卐M☭CRATs are no longer the Loyal Opposition, and that the political landscape in Amerika v2.0 has shifted dramatically.

Snark if you will, but we’ll all soon see how deeply unfunny our predicament is. As for NYC specifically, I have to admit that I was kinda looking forward to watching those shitlib nimrods really getting theirs by putting the Red Jihadi into Gracie Mansion, but there’s a slight problem with that too, one that always and forever seems to crop up in such situations. To wit: the aftereffects of today’s self-inflicted injury will by no means be limited to Leftard NYC eedjits alone. Sorry, but thanks to, among other factors, NYC’s status as the Colossus of international finance and/or banking, with corporate HQs, Wall Street, the advertising/arts/entertainment/media industries clustering there, the pain from today’s’ bonehead maneuver will surely be felt across the entire nation, probebly the whole world as well.

And that right there exemplifies the problem I mentioned just now. Consider: how many of us have fantasized, in idle barside chitchat with friends, about finding a secluded island paradise where Left/liberal/Progressivist nitwits could set up the exact kind of government, society, and culture they claim to want? The catch being, of course, that once they debark the ship and set foot on Tardzania, they have to stay; they will never be allowed back here to plague normal, sane people again.

Thing is, heavenly as it sounds, it simply can’t be done, it’s unpossible, see. Due to their inmost nature—intransigent, bumptious, meddlesome, arrogant—shitlibs could no more leave others alone to live as they prefer, to conduct their affairs as they think best, than they could sprout wings from their backs and fly off to Mars. Put ‘em on a remote island where they can do as they please, not just sometimes but ALL the time, but which veritable Shangri-La 1) they are expressly forbidden to ever depart, an ironclad contractual obligation enforced by armed guards wiith deadly-force ROEs, and 2) has no (zip, zero, nada) access, either physical, visual, or auditory, to the Freemen back home in the States, and they’d be as miserable as a leper colony.

And the instant that realization hits home, that’s when the escape attempts will begin, quickly ramping up from once in a GREAT while to a several-times-daily event. Count on it. Best part about that is, they’ll be dropping onto the beach like seagull turds, as Security gets their rifles dialed in and learns to compensate for the drop and/or drift from that lovely ocean “windage.”

Updated update! A sensible New Yorker provides chapter and verse on Mamasboyani and the ride New Yorkers are about to taken for.

Every civilization faces a test. They rarely collapse from a single blow. Instead, they decay from within—through cynicism, decadence, and an erosion of shared beliefs. Augustine wrote The City of God to explain how Rome’s fall was not merely political, but spiritual: a people who no longer believed in themselves could not defend against their enemies.

Tonight, New York stands at a similar threshold, as voters head to the polls today to choose our next mayor. Among the names on the ballot is Zohran Mamdani, a socialist Assemblyman from Queens whose rise has sent shockwaves through New York, the Democratic Party, and our nation. His popularity signals how far the unraveling has already come. Like the birds of prey descending on Abram – symbols of forces that threaten the sacred – a flock of socialists has descended on New York. In the name of “justice,” they are gnawing at its civic and moral foundations, hoping to feed on its prosperity.

The speed of change has been breathtaking. It feels inconceivable that we stand here today. I write this piece not out of hatred for Zohran and his supporters, but love for New York. A city built over centuries that has been a beacon of light and progress for the modern world. As a central hub of the global economy, we now face the possibility of a mayor with virtually no experience, little practical education, and highly questionable values.

Mamdani represents, to me, everything I fight against.

I am concerned that Mamdani represents a burgeoning New Left, one in which American values like hard work and meritocracy are dismissed rather than embraced. Mamdani’s CV reflects a highly privileged adult life. Internships for his celebrity mother, rapping stints, endless protests – but little actual work. He holds a degree in Africana Studies from Bowdoin, where nearly every course description contains the same litany of buzzwords: gender, class, justice, imperialism, oppression. It reads less like a curriculum than an indoctrination — Wokeism 101.

He listed his ethnicity as African American on his college applications, despite being of Indian descent. His base is largely white, affluent, educated, downwardly-mobile elites. This group seems to believe that apartments in Brooklyn are a birthright, stolen by billionaires and landlords.

The stakes for New York could not be higher. This is the man that many in our city want to put in charge. A man with virtually no work or management experience, whose ideology treats financial success as sin, police as villains, and government handouts as the ticket to a life of “dignity.”

Now, we arrive at the Big, Tough Q’s.

Will New York remain a city of builders, doers, and dreamers under this kind of leader? Or will the builders leave, and take their incomes (and taxes) with them? The top 1% of New Yorkers cover 48% of income taxes. Scare them away, and we will be staring down a fiscal crisis unlike anything seen since the 1970s.

New York hasn’t been “a city of builders, doers, and dreamers” for many, many years, I’m afraid. As my friend Pfouts used to put it: “It’s a good thing they got the subway finished when they did. This ciry could NEVER build such a thing today, no way! A Chrysler Building, an Empire State? My God, they can barely even fill in a lousy pothole these days!” We shared many a good laugh over that one, although we both knew it was more true than it was funny.

Then again, except for isolated pockets here and there, the same transmogrification from builders and doers into pussies and geeks could be fairly said of the US generally. The kind of rugged, audacious, creative individuals who built not only NYC but America That Was itself seem to be mighty hard to come by nowadays, to our everlasting sorrow.

Is it time to start killing them yet?

If not, will it ever be? Because I’ve come to seriously, seriously doubt that it ever will, myself.

There’s no reasoning with people like this
In an ideal world, I don’t think we’d all agree on everything, but we could find common ground on some things and at least respect that many we disagree with as still being fundamentally good people.

The problem, as I like to say, is that we don’t live in an ideal world. We live in this one.

And in this world, we have people who cannot seem to grasp that their ideological opponents are real people. We also have people who seem to believe that their own side can do no wrong.

Some of those write for The Atlantic, and folks at The Federalist aren’t letting them get away with it.

The threat of left-wing violence against senior members of the Trump administration is so severe that families with young children are being forced to vacate their homes and live on military bases. According to The Atlantic, they had it coming.

Officials such as top adviser Stephen Miller, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Army Secretary Dan Driscoll, and an unnamed senior White House official have been forced to live in military housing, far more than in previous administrations, the Atlantic’s Michael Scherer, Missy Ryan, and Ashley Parker noted in a Thursday piece.

The authors have some thoughts about why, facing a dramatic uptick in threats and assassination attempts by leftists against conservatives, these officials might be uprooting from their family homes. The culprit, they declare, is “the nation’s polarization, to which the Trump administration has itself contributed.” Stephen Miller basically invited kooks to show up at his house and terrorize his wife and kids, see, by advocating for an immigration policy that hurts leftists’ feelings. (The irony is lost on The Atlantic writers that the group warning the Millers their kind will “not be tolerated” calls itself Arlington Neighbors United for Humanity.)

Miller, whom leftists like this guy publicly and casually fantasize about murdering, is “known for his inflammatory political rhetoric” and “regularly derides Democrats with inflammatory language,” the authors remind us. He was probably wearing a short skirt, too.

Of course, the military is to blame, too, because the fact that they’ll let key members of the administration live on military bases somehow invalidates the idea that the military defends the nation instead of just one political party.

Never you mind that only one party seems to see their ideological opponents as vermin who can and should be murdered at every opportunity, and will vocally call for their murder at every opportunity.

Never mind that this is the same group of people who believe the best response to disagreement is disenfranchisement of the electorate, forced re-education efforts, and literal concentration camps.

There’s only one way to make this stop, and it assuredly does NOT involve lawsuits, “dialogue,” peevish op-eds, or Voating HARDERER© at them.

From the title of this next one, you might get the idea that resident PJM squish Rick Moran has reached the end of his personal rope and is now ready to say fuck it and get down to serious business. You would be wrong about that.

The Socialists Are on the Rise in the Democratic Party Because They’re Not Dead

Actually, that’s perfectly true and accurate. Just not in the way Moran means it.

Tuesday, New York City will probably elect the very first authentic (as authentic as they can be), unashamed, unabashed socialist to the mayoralty of the second-largest city in the United States.

Urban centers in the United States where Democrats hold a massive registration advantage are susceptible to the siren call of socialism for two reasons. First, when resources are scarce, voting for someone for elective office who will promise the sun, the moon, the stars, and everything in between is a no-brainer. Instinctively, most voters know that what socialists promise is unattainable, but they hope and pray that some of the goodies will fall into their laps anyway.

Second, the wretched educational system in our largest cities guarantees enough low-information voters to elect Karl Marx himself. Voters not understanding the consequences of electing a socialist is how Zohran Mamdani will win the election on Tuesday.

In truth, the most significant advantage this particular socialist holds is that he’s not dead. No, I mean that. Mamdani’s energy is like a tonic to Democrats who not only haven’t had anything to cheer about recently but have been forced to vote for remnants of the 20th-century Democratic Party. Given the ideas of those 20th-century Democrats, they may as well have come from the 19th century.

The Democratic Party is old. The median age for Senate Democrats is 66 years, compared to 64.5 years for Republicans. A 2023 analysis found the average age of the Democratic House leadership was 72.

Their ideas are old. Someone should whisper in Chuck Schumer’s ear that the Great Depression is over and we no longer need the New Deal. The Democrats’ “new ideas” are socialism lite — almost as if Democrats are too cowardly to go full-blown socialist, so they combine the worst of socialism’s controls with the worst of capitalism’s cronyism. The result is Joe Biden, god save us.

Wrong again, boyo. The D卐M☭CRAT devotion to hardcore Marxism isn’t because they’re old, or their ideas are, or they’re out of touch, or they’re stuck in the mid-1930s, or any other such rubbish Nor is it all about standing up for the little guy, speaking for the voiceless, feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, or making life easier for the American working stiff.. For D卐M☭CRATs it’s purely, simply, and exclusively about POWER—seizing it, keeping it, wielding it, and expanding it. Nothing whatsoever else.

Anybody thinking there just HAS to be more to it is hereby urged to extract their head from their butthole, have a good, long look around, and get current already.

Nig-O-Ween?

Oh for cripe’s sake.

If they couldn’t whine, they’d have nothing to say at all.

A big part of the reason why I find the JewJewJewJEEEEW-haters schtick  so annoying is the way they blame Dem Pesky JOOOZ for absolutely every bad thing that’s ever happened, going all the way back to the crucifixion of Christ (sorry, imbeciles, that’s actually down to the Romans). Sounds exactly like the Nig-Nogs blaming De Wite Man for all their troubles to me. You’d think that at least SOME of them would find that near-equivalence embarrassing. You’d be dead wrong about that, too.

Generals Are Whining That Hegseth Has ‘Lost’ Them, but the Facts Say They’ve Lost the Plot
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth is the subject of another scurrilous article claiming, without proof or evidence, that he has lost the trust and confidence of the flag and general officer corps. A story in the Washington Times uses mostly anonymous sources to make the claim that Hegseth, “has lost the trust and respect of some top military commanders, with his public “grandstanding” widely seen as unprofessional and the personnel moves made by the former cable TV host leading to an unprecedented and dangerous exodus of talent from the Pentagon, said current senior military officers and current and former Defense Department officials.” The whole article tells a different story.

The core of the critique seems to be that Hegseth is incapable of thinking above the level of an infantry major, and that keeps him from focusing on real stuff like, well, we don’t know.

Follows, one long, loud, whine from these precious Deep State poseurs. To be perfectly honest, there might possibly be something in this world I give less of a shit about than what the Perfumed Princes of the Puzzle Palace think about anything at all, but if there is I’m sure I don’t know what it might be. Streiff has a little something he’d like to say as regards Mordor On The Potomac’s fearsome Chairborne (Rump) Rangers senior leadership caste, every word of which cuts like a Sykes-Fairbairn fighting knife.

The criticism boils down to basically a lot of people don’t like Hegseth’s style. The only damage they can come up with is an exodus of other FOGOs and senior civilians who have been told to leave. In their mind, this defenestration of deadwood and resistance is a loss of talent. It isn’t because those slots will be filled by people who want to do the job right. I thought the resistance to the concept of a “color- and gender-blind meritocracy” was particularly instructive and shows just how deep Marxist rot has invaded the military.

I’d also offer that the criticisms of his focus on appearance and fitness belie the fact that far too many of our senior officers don’t really care about discipline, esprit, or technical competence. If the standard for lacing boots is left-over-right, I can walk into any unit and tell immediately how well the chain of command works. If standards for height, weight, and physical fitness and beards are not enforced, you can bet your bottom dollar that maintenance, logistics, personnel, and a whole bunch of other systems are broken. You can also bet that a military without attention to detail will not focus on winning wars, but on getting the most medals. In the words of a man who knew about war, General George S. Patton, Jr.: “There is only one sort of discipline—perfect discipline. Men cannot have good battle discipline and poor administrative discipline.” He also said, “You cannot be disciplined in great things and undisciplined in small things.”

So self-evidently correct you can’t help but be embarrassed on behalf of GEN Curtis J Rumpswab, BRIG GEN Jennifer D Rottencrotch, and MAJ GEN Kwan’zaalishious’ “Lightnin” McCorkle VII for needing to have it read back to them one more time.

Let the Pentagon’s flabby, overpromoted, medal-chasing flag officer corps get back to us when they’ve actually won something more impressive than a free medium coffee from Dunkin Donuts in recognition of their many years of customer loyalty. As far as these abject failures feeling all butthurt over Sec Hegseth serving notice that their only easy day was yesterday, hopefully their “personal honor” has been traduced badly enough to leave them no choice but to resign their commissions and vacate their positions. Without these jackasses, who knows, we might actually be able to win a war for a change.

All is well, all is well!

He’s awfully sanguine for a guy with such a feeble grasp of the actual, y’kow, historical facts.

Sorry, Democrats — No Civil War is Coming

No, probably not. Not while Real Americans remain content to sit passively back and permit Violent Left mountebanks to harrass them, torment them, murder them at will, and just generally run roughshod over them, makig no response to such abuse more devastating than filing another lawsuit, penning another windy op-ed threatening dire repercussions such as frowning angrily in their general direction, and of course Voating Harderer!© at them than ever before.

I shit you not, our Founding Fathers wouldn’t deign to piss in our mouths if our gums were on fire, we’ve become so gorram weak, evolved, and contemptible these days. Fret not, though, final victory is at hand. Yeppers, after rancorous internecine debates, investigations by blue-ribbon Congressional panels, and blood-curdling threats from Ms Lindsey Graham, we’ve got ’em right where they want us!

In 1776, American colonists, despairing that their rights as British citizens were being trampled upon by their overbearing king, George III, decided to secede from the British Empire. Thomas Jefferson wrote down their grievances in the Declaration of Independence. Just a few of them include the cutting off of trade, imposing taxes without consent, depriving the people of trial by jury, suspending colonial legislatures, and waging war on the colonists. I think Jefferson’s best argument was, “He has plundered our seas, ravaged our coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.” Yep, sounds as though they had reasons to rebel.

In 1861, following the election of Abraham Lincoln, wealthy landowners pushed eleven Southern states, where slavery was legal, to secede from the United States. Much of the rhetoric claimed that the war was about states’ rights, but that was mostly a smokescreen. Unlike the rebellion against King George, these people had no grievances — only fears that slavery would be abolished, ending the free labor on which their economic system depended.

Yeah, no. NOT about States’ Rights, you protest? A”smokescreen,” you aver? Poppycock, sayeth moi.

Of course, CW v1.0 anti-historians like the above yayhoo are extremely eager to dismiss States’ Rights as one of the leading causes for the War Of Northern Aggression, likely because the complex realities make it much more difficult to saddle up the “all about slavery!” hobbyhorse and ride it into the fucking ground.

So just never you mind, you RAYCISS!!!©, that no more than 30%, AT MOST, of Southerners ever actually owned slaves. Nor did most of them own plantations, land, those lovely antebellum mansions as seen in Gone With The Wind, a pair of shoes, or much of anything else, frankly.

This being so, presumably the aforementioned dirt poor, slave-deprived sons of Dixie wouldn’t likely have been just wildly enthusiastic about packing up Grampa’s old shootin’ arn; some moth-eaten scraps of clothing, shoes if he had any; a small haversack of acorns, hardtack, grain, and two=three strips of moldy possum jerky, and go a-traipsing off to war in defense of a “peculiar institution” he’d never had much to do with his entire life long.

Of course there were several other factors which our disingenuous “scholar” above appears not to know much about either. Maybe he could try boning up on, say, cotton warehouse receipts sometime; that oughta be enough to give him a solid head-start before he begins working his way up to the more complicated, obscure stuff.

As we all know, after every war the victors write the history in whatever manner suits them, forever painting themselves as saintly, noble, and entirely blameless while their defeated foes were in fact ravening demons in human shape. But dammit, do they have to be so blasted sanctimonious and just plain obnoxious about it every single time? Having grown up in the South, I can confirm that after having this fictitious twaddle crammed down one’s gullet without remit can wax pretty durned wearisome over time.

Those unshod, dirty-faced, ill-nourished field hands, sharecroppers, and sundry ragamuffins had another rationale for fighting the Yankee aggressor, surely a more compelling reason than the remote, otherworldly principle of States’ Rights.

This rationale, not particularly well-known even among ardent students of Civil War lore, reveals itself in a brief exchange shouted across the soon-to-crumble MLR during a lull in the horrific Battle of Fredericksburg, betwixt one of Lee’s Weary Boys and his Union counterpart. Asked by the Bluebelly why he was fighting, Johnny Reb hollered in reply: Because y’all are down here, Yank, that’s why!

Kinda says it all, wouldn’t you say? Viewed from this angle, the long, slow slide into war, anguish, and incomprehensible horror starts to look disquietingly familiar, doesn’t it? That plainspoken Confederate lad didn’t give a fiddler’s fuck about slavery; he took up arms strictly to protect his home, hearth, and kinfolk against an invading army conducting a war of aggression. So it was for the vast majority of Southern troops as well: they wanted nothing more extravagant or outlandish than to just be letf alone by an overbearing, rapacious, and too-powerful Federal megalith bent on ruling and not governing.

Naaahhhh, not familiar to the contemporary ear at all, is it? As far back as the mid-1800s, the pattern was set, the trend established, the die cast. By the turn of the 20th century the fork in the road which leads ever down and down into tyranny, despotism, and immiseration had been taken. Unfortunately, it’s a dark, narrow, poorly marked lane with many twistings and turnings, a one-way route on which there is no easy way to reverse course and return to Consitutionally-correct governance again. Not without a great deal of pain, bereavement, and injury to body, spirit, well-being…,just about everything you can imagine, really.

Worst of all, Tyranny Road had been mapped for us long ago, drawn expertly, exactingly, and in great detail for us by our forebears—a deadly highway to Hell which our Founding Fathers cautioned us repeatedly to keep ourselves well way from. it is to our eternal discredit that we sxtuidly refused to heed the warnings o our sagacious ancestors—not just one single time, but again and again and again and again. Our heedless, stubborn mistake was a century in the making, and was in no wise excusable as merely a fleeting relaxation of vigilance, a moment’s inattention, a minor stumble in which the only harm done is to our pride.

Nope, not hard;y, none of the above. This was a blunder of titanic proportions, a ruinous act of wanton negligence and hubris which stands to cost us absolutely everything.Nor is this  just “one of those things” that can happen to anybody, really. This was a heedless discarding of certain hard-to-come-by jewels (Freedom? Limited government? Consent of the governed? Unalienable rights? Government officials as servants, not masters?) which are beyond price, purchased for us by generations of Americans going waaaay back.

These extraordinary gifts were meant to be passed down to succeeding generations who would likewise appreciate them, nurture them, safeguard them, maybe expand them if possible. They would then be passed down again in due course. Thus did the world turn, for many generations.

The Big Q: Were we duly grateful for the unique legacy freely handed down to us? Did we strive ceaselessly to be mindful of the gift we had been given? To give humble thanks for the good people who worked so tirelessly, sacrificed so selflessly, gave of themselves so unstintingly, to bequeath such a bounty to us? Were we diligent in making ourselves worthy of this munificence?

Ohhh, if only.

I didn’t bother with the rest of this reeking shitpile of an article; the author having screwed the Civil War pooch so thoroughly in the opening ‘graphs, I just couldn’t see any reason to slog through the rest of it. I would like to note, by way of wrapping up this post, an additional related point:

Contra the self-serving version fabricated by the Yankee victors, the Confederate states wished to leave the Union peaceably, and firmly believed in their absolute right to do so, considering this to be so obviously in agreement with the precepts of America’s Founding documents as to make further explanation tantamount to a personal insult.

As no less august a personage than President Jefferson Davis said in his First Inaugural Address, the Confederacy bore the US government, its President, nor even the people of Yankeeland no ill will, and wished no harm to them. The address begins by spelling out the new Confederate nation’s philosophical roots in the ideals of the Founding Fathers.

Looking forward to the speedy establishment of a permanent government to take the place of this, and which by its greater moral and physical power will be better able to combat with the many difficulties which arise from the conflicting interests of separate nations, I enter upon the duties of the office to which I have been chosen with the hope that the beginning of our career as a Confederacy may not be obstructed by hostile opposition to our enjoyment of the separate existence and independence which we have asserted, and, with the blessing of Providence, intend to maintain. Our present condition, achieved in a manner unprecedented in the history of nations, illustrates the American idea that governments rest upon the consent of the governed, and that it is the right of the people to alter or abolish governments whenever they become destructive of the ends for which they were established.

The declared purpose of the compact of Union from which we have withdrawn was “to establish justice, insure domestic tranquillity, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessing of liberty to ourselves and our posterity;” and when, in the judgment of the sovereign States now composing this Confederacy, it had been perverted from the purposes for which it was ordained, and had ceased to answer the ends for which it was established, a peaceful appeal to the ballot-box declared that so far as they were concerned, the government created by that compact should cease to exist. In this they merely asserted a right which the Declaration of Independence of 1776 had defined to be inalienable; of the time and occasion for its exercise, they, as sovereigns, were the final judges, each for itself. The impartial and enlightened verdict of mankind will vindicate the rectitude of our conduct, and He who knows the hearts of men will judge of the sincerity with which we labored to preserve the Government of our fathers in its spirit. The right solemnly proclaimed at the birth of the States, and which has been affirmed and reaffirmed in the bills of rights of States subsequently admitted into the Union of 1789, undeniably recognize in the people the power to resume the authority delegated for the purposes of government. Thus the sovereign States here represented proceeded to form this Confederacy, and it is by abuse of language that their act has been denominated a revolution. They formed a new alliance, but within each State its government has remained, the rights of person and property have not been disturbed. The agent through whom they communicated with foreign nations is changed, but this does not necessarily interrupt their international relations.

Ayup, seems clear enough to me. Even this slightly more bellicose pre-war speech still commends the olive branch over the bayonet.

It requires but a cursory examination of the Constitution of the United States; but a partial knowledge of its history and of the motives of the men who formed it, to see how utterly fallacious it is to ascribe to them the purpose of interfering with the domestic institutions of any of the States. But if a disrespect for that instrument, a fanatical disregard of its purposes, should ever induce a majority, however large, to seek by amending the Constitution, to pervert it from its original object, and to deprive you of the equality which your fathers bequeathed to you, I say let the star of Mississippi be snatched from the constellation to shine by its inherent light, if it must be so, through all the storms and clouds of war.

I say to you here as I have said to the Democracy of New York, if it should ever come to pass that the Constitution shall be perverted to the destruction of our rights so that we shall have the mere right as a feeble minority unprotected by the barrier of the Constitution to give an ineffectual negative vote in the Halls of Congress, we shall then bear to the federal government the relation our colonial fathers did to the British crown, and if we are worthy of our lineage we will in that event redeem our rights even if it be through the process of revolution. And it gratifies me to be enabled to say that no portion of the speech to which I have referred was received with more marked approbation by the Democracy there assembled than the sentiment which has just been cited. I am happy also to state that during the past summer I heard in many places, what previously I had only heard from the late President Pierce, the declaration that whenever a Northern army should be assembled to march for the subjugation of the South, they would have a battle to fight at home before they passed the limits of their own State, and one in which our friends claim that the victory will at least be doubtful.

Now, as in 1851, I hold separation from the Union by the State of Mississippi to be the last remedy—the final alternative. In the language of the venerated Calhoun I consider the disruption of the Union as a great though not the greatest calamity. I would cling tenaciously to our constitutional Government, seeing as I do in the fraternal Union of equal States the benefit to all and the fulfillment of that high destiny which our fathers hoped for and left it for their sons to attain. I love the flag of my country with even more than a filial affection. Mississippi gave me in my boyhood to her military service. For many of the best years of my life I have followed that flag and upheld it on fields where if I had fallen it might have been claimed as my winding sheet. When I have seen it surrounded by the flags of foreign countries, the pulsations of my heart have beat quicker with every breeze which displayed its honored stripes and brilliant constellation. I have looked with veneration on those stripes as recording the original size of our political family and with pride upon that constellation as marking the family’s growth; I glory in the position which Mississippi’s star holds in the group; but sooner than see its lustre dimmed—sooner than see it degraded from its present equality—would tear it from its place to be set even on the perilous ridge of battle as a sign round which Mississippi’s best and bravest should gather to the harvest-home of death.

Bold mine, and wholly dispositive.

The claim that the uniquely American concept of States’ Rights was not a primary cause of the first Civil War is laughably spurious. To disregard said concept’s crucial importance to the Founding Fathers as one of the strongest bulwarks against the establishment of tyrannical government in America is to be historically illiterate. To contend that Jefferson Davis was ever anything but A) a conscientious, ruminative patriot who reverenced his former country, and B) a reluctant secessionist who had to be all but dragged into rejecting the grotesque parody of itself the US government had become, is the mark of either a perfidious liar, an ignoramus, or a self-beclowning fool.

The libertarian (small-L) creed

Having gone deep down another YewToob rabbit hole tonight, this one Firefly/Serenity-related, I just gotta post (repost, actually) this immortal clip wherein Captain Mal Reynolds nails it all down clean and tight.

Never have been able to figure out how it is that Joss Whedon could’ve written such dead-on dialogue as is on proud display throughout Firefly and Serenity both—about as anti-collectivist as it’s possible to be—yet could still be a goddamned standard-issue liberal moron his own self.

As Jayne says of another character in another scene, Mal is seriously starting to damage my calm here. Simply because he’s right: no matter how badly they screw up, how utterly they fail, snd/or how many lives they destroy along the way, they willl most assuredly try again. They will never stop trying again, whatever the consequences—not just for them, but for all of us. This, after all, is just who they are, it’s what they do.

Where’s the Trump Recession?

Recently in a non political blog someone made the following reference “the recession that is coming”. Politics there are not allowed. I just mentioned that the persons crystal ball *might* be broken.

I, among others, have predicted increasing GDP – 2nd quarter was 3.8%, thank you. The Trump economic model is at its core, increasing GDP which will grow us out of debt and solve our past money issues. Look at everything through that lens and you can understand it. Move taxation from individuals to tariffs without a constitutional amendment – check, Trump is doing it. Move producers out of china and back to the USA – check, Trump is doing it. Move employment from the federal government and into the private sector – check, Trump is doing it.

This cannot happen overnight, but any fair assessment should acknowledge the path we are on, that GDP is up, way up, nowhere near recession levels. The vast majority of economic prognosticators got it 100% wrong. Perhaps they are not economists, but rather they are marxists in disguise.

I’m not an “economist”*, and yet I (among others like Kenny) seem to be right about 90% of the time while the so called economists are wrong about 90% of the time. In fact, the “economists” are really just marxist political operators.

Hey Economists, Where is the Trump recession?

*OTOH, I did study economics and have an understanding of it, apparently better than the average economist

Second helping

Moar Mark Steyn, men!

Because they made the mistake of sabotaging his escalator and then his prompter, the President of the United States opened up a supersized can of geopolitical whup-ass on the UN General Assembly this week, pithily summarised by many headline-writers thus:

Trump’s middle finger to the UN: ‘Your countries are going to hell’

In fairness, this insight was mainly directed at America’s “allies” in Europe. The particular hell they are going to will not be news to those who’ve swung by this shingle over the last twenty-three years, but I thought it might be worth doing a brisk tour d’horizon of where we’re at:

Follows, a tour de farce of some of the more farcical nation-states currently blighting this beleaguered blue marble, such as…oh, go on, take a wild guess…

*AFRICA

In 1900 the population of Africa was 140 million. That’s why it was possible for one continent to be entirely owned by another – Europe – and why a mere five dozen British civil servants could until 1956 govern the whole of the Sudan, reasonably well and better than any time since.

Today the population of African is one-and-a-half billion. In fact, the continent now adds the equivalent of its total 1900 population – 140 million – every four years. In 2020 Africa had 1.38 billion people; in 2025 1.55 billion people. By 2050 the UN projects another billion Africans. By 2070 – or Thatcher/Reagan to now – the world will have five billion (and falling) Asians, over three billion (and rising) Africans, and Europe and the Americas will be a bit of loose pocket change rattling around between those very round numbers.

It is possible, of course, that those numbers will not come to pass. A significant percentage of those three billion might decide to head to almost any Libyan port delivered by Obama, Cameron and Hollande into the hands of the jihad boys and procure passage on a northbound ship to be ushered by a German or Scandinavian “refugee” “charity” into an Italian port.

As with all things, we did this to ourselves: Western medicine eliminated childhood mortality in the most dysfunctional and corrupt countries on earth, thereby incentivisng millions (billions?) to head for a four-star country-house hotel in England. But, as it is, almost all population growth across the planet right now is coming from sub-Saharan Africa and the wackier Islamic redoubts. Would you stay in Chad when your cellphone is full of EU politicians insisting that “Diversity is our strength”?

To put it at its mildest, when do the citizens of countries “going to hell” at least rouse themselves to boo the cobwebbed clichés?

What more might one say about the Dark Continent, really? Leaving that insuperable mess aside, we’ll just avert our eyes as we shuffle on off to another Earthly garden spot, namely:

*THE MIDDLE EAST

I don’t write much about “Palestine” mainly because I haven’t had a new thought on the subject in a quarter-century. But forget, for a moment, the Jews: I understand many people find Jews all a bit Jewy and agree with that Brit Wanker Copper that it’s unacceptably provocative to have Jews strolling the streets looking “openly Jewish”. So set aside your antipathy to the Chosen; it is not in your interest to have another Islamic krappistan to add to the dozens out there.

There are fifty-seven members of the Organisation of Islamic Co-Operation; and, unlike the Commonwealth, at the UN they all vote as a bloc. So far Europe’s only member is Albania, but, given that over ten per cent of Albanian males are now resident in England it can only be a matter of time before the UK applies for “associate membership”. As it is, J D Vance has already suggested that His Majesty’s Dominions and the Continental powers are recognising “Palestine” only for domestic demographic reasons. Why would that surprise anyone? It’s in America Alone, for cryin’ out loud – although admittedly I wrote that when JD was in junior high.

Was “President” Mahmoud Abbas, now in the twenty-first year of his five-year presidential term, grateful for “recognition” by every Ukrainian rent-boy’s favourite bottom? No. He immediately demanded Sir Keir pay him two trillion dollars in reparations for Britain’s administration of its UN mandate for Palestine. The UK is broke but I suppose it could find the money if it, say, downgraded its Albanian sex-traffickers to three-star hotels.

But all “President” Abbas would do is sluice it to his sons, who, after a lifetime’s devotion to “Palestinian” public service are now among the richest men on the planet, thanks to USAid and its Euro-equivalents.

Abbas and the sewer he presides over are the problem not the solution. If conjuring into being such a “state” – with embassies in London, Paris and beyond – is the best we can do at this stage in the Great Game, our civilisation deserves to die.

Can’t quite make out how, for all his perception and analytical skills, Mark nonetheless managed to let the Tribe primarily responsible for the woes of the ME evade his notice here; probably another ((((****JooJooJJooJOOOOO!!!****)))) plot, I suppose.

Next, Steyn takes a quick, hard swipe at China before getting around to the main event.

*THE UNITED STATES

America’s 1950 moment is drawing to a close. If it ends with every US “ally” going off the cliff and the BRICS crowd collapsing the dollar, its three-quarter-century dominance is unlikely to be regarded by posterity as a grand success. Both scenarios are quite likely: for everyone accept the US and its client states, the inauguration of the post-dollar world is simply a matter of agreeing the timing. As for going off the cliff, whether one can remain a First World society of 400 or 500 million is an interesting question, but you’re severely worsening the odds with all the diversity wankerama.

To be sure, Donald Trump has spent the last nine months demonstrating an energy in the executive unimaginable in France or Germany, Canada or Australia. However, he is stymied at every turn by the industrial-scale hollowing out of every institution from your local kindergarten to the Pentagon. A third-rate politicised judiciary – with an extraordinary number of foreign-born judges whose English comprehension does not apparently extend to the separation of powers – is confident it can stall the President’s drive and determination until the next election.

Furthermore, the United States is the fons et origo of every madness afflicting the core west, starting with mass trannification. Millions of apparently sane people, including your children’s teachers and your hospital management (and, in Minnesota, your governor), purport to believe that this is as much of a woman as the late Claudia Cardinale.

Lots more yet to come, folks. This being Mark Steyn, you won’t want to miss a single word of it, I’m sure.

Update! In the excerpt above, Steyn casually flays those who “purport to believe that this is etc etc,” with a link appended to “this” which I didn’t transcribe, as per usual. I just went and checked out said link, and great Googly Moogly! I figgered I knew what I’d find there, but as it turns out it was even worse than I dared imagine.

OOF! Also, ICK! And for good measure, YIKES!!!

Imagine, if you will, being a pretty teenage girl intent on zipping into the Ladies’’ for a quick, much-needed wee before dashing off to Principles Of Marxism class, only to descry that fucking gargoyle leering at you from the doorway of one of the stalls, just before he slams you bodily to the floor, tears off all your clothes, and rapes you.

Imagine, if you will, this creep’s rancid BO; the dank, greasy feel of that filthy t-shirt; his revolting cigarette-cheap-beer-and-Cool-Ranch-Doritos breath; the nose hair-singing piss/shit/jizz/scrote-sweat reek wafting up from his grayish-yellow tighty-whiteys as he slithers out of his raggedy Chinese Levis knockoffs; his rough, encrusted tongue crawling lIzard-like over your neck, face, and tightly-clamped lips.

Meanwhile, you thrash your head furiously from side to side, eyelids squeezed shut as if not seeing might offer some protection from feeling.. Your mind wails over and over that NO, NO, NO, THIS ISN’T REALLY HAPPENING TO ME, THIS CANT BE HAPPENING!!! Just when you notice one of the brute’s hands is insinuating itself into your clean, thick, curly hair, the other one is pinching your now-exposed left nipple roughly, painfully.

I say again: YIKES!!!

Always remember, it’s sickos like the scrofulous weirdo depicted above that shitlibs will defend to their dying breath as perfectly normal, in fact admirable and praiseworthy. Moreover, such creatures should be given full and unfettered access to your young sons and daughters to abuse, terrorize, and harm them in whatever fashion they deem fit.

If you haven’t figured it out already, there’s no time like the present: the REAL problem here isn’t so much the predatory perverts themselves but the vile and soulless shitlibs backing them. Do away with the latter and the former will soon subside back into the shadows of obscurity, oblivion, and disapprobation which had been their lot until fairly recently.

Starving these freaks of the instant celebrity, the exaltation, the manufactured glamor, and the societal and cultural breathing room provided them by the Conniving Left will do the trick right enough. After all, such things are to officially-designated Victim Class crumbums as nutrient-rich soil, water, and proper sunshine are to green plants.

FINALLY redux

Apropos of tonight’s Eyrie thang, Steyn piles on by way of the recent Milan riots.

What were they rioting over? Well, I saw one report describing it as an ad hoc alliance of pro-Palestinians, leftist unions objecting to Meloni, and assorted neighbourhood “migrants”.

Whatever. It doesn’t really matter, does it? I mean, it’s not like twenty-five arrests at a Tommy Robinson rally, two-thirds of whom turn out to be anti-Tommy counter-protesters. All that can be said for certain is that, if you live almost anywhere in the western world, violence is in your future. For the moment, it comes overwhelmingly from the political left and their various shock-troops, whether Antifa or your local migrant sex-fiends. Because the left are the most turned on by it. Even the comparatively peaceful ones can’t stop salivating over the thought of killing you. Here, for example, a perfectly nice respectable American lady – probably listens to NPR – has a grand old time beheading an effigy of Trump:

Do stay tuned for the punchline. At the end she turns around and has what we used to call the golden rule emblazoned all over her T-shirt:

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

So does that mean Trump supporters can decapitate, say, Kamala Harris?

Well, no, because, if you lopped off Kamala’s head, it wouldn’t make any difference. The most stupid and incompetent major-party candidate of the modern era has just “written” a book seeking to explain how everyone’s favourite glass-ceiling-shattering Montreal schoolgirl somehow failed to beat a “convicted felon” who spent most of campaign season in court. So, to pitch her book to fellow wine-moms like the decapitator above, Kamala has been out on the plug circuit. Shooting the breeze with leftie superstar Rachel Maddow, the former vice president calls the current president a “tyrant” and a “dictator”…

For any aspiring tyrants out there, if you’re wondering how to become one yourself, all you have to do is win Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania in the Electoral College. That’s how all the tyrants and dictators do it.

Is Ms Harris not worried that, by de-legitimising her opponent’s lawful, peaceful and democratic victory over her good self, some excitable types might try to, say, shoot his head off?

Oh naw naw naw NAW, that would never, EVER happen! Right? RIGHT?

RIIIIGHT?!?

Of course not, you big silly. I simply have to include this next bit because of the gleeful way it rips renowned baglapper and/or Lefty rumpswab Keith “Upper-lip-sweat” Olbermann all to bloody gobbets and then scatters the pieces all over the lot.

I briefly caught Mr Olbermann’s attention a decade or three back, and, from what I can recall of it, he struck me as a big pansy fagulous trannifilarious nancy poufter mincing dweeb of a homicidal maniac but who likes sounding butch by saying “motherfucker” a lot. Yet, in a functioning society, it should not be incumbent upon Scott Jennings to judge whether the guy specifically menacing him actually means it or is just an insecure over-compensating loser. As noted here an hour or so after Charlie Kirk’s death, at least seven Internet posts appeared to have foreknowledge of what had yet to happen.

I have joked for years about jihadist nutters being fully paid-up members of Local 473 of the Amalgamated Union of Lone Wolves. But the leftie nutters are beginning to feel like that, too. One half of the political spectrum is so drunk on its bloodlust they don’t even notice it. “Denver’s oldest gay bar”, for example, took the trouble to create a new cocktail and make a sign for it…

The old definition of a gay bar was: one hundred bottoms looking for a top. It requires a perverse genius to re-imagine it as one hundred bottoms looking, in the Britannic sense, to top someone.

YEEOWTCH, that made my butt hurt! Now brace yourselves for the heady, thrilling denouement.

Over two decades, I have occasionally quoted the words of the French philosopher Alain Finkielkraut: “The lofty idea of ‘the war on racism’ is gradually turning into a hideously false ideology,” he said in 2005. “And this anti-racism will be for the twenty-first century what Communism was for the twentieth century: a source of violence.”

Bloodlust mixed with moral preening is a uniquely toxic cocktail and, unlike those available at the R&R bar in Denver, it will not be content with merely a single shot.

DAMNED good squishy there, Mark. Yet again, I must remind y’al of the one, the only rule that matters: THEY SHOOT. WE DIE. Unless and until that changes, we’re all just whistling Dixie here, I’m afraid.

Update! A timely and very much related reminder from the esteemed Eric Raymond.

In one of my previous analysis postings, I outlined three possible scenarios for the future after the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

This corresponds to scenario 3, the one where insurrection edges into a simmering civil war a la Bosnia. I caught some flak in my replies at the time from people who thought an insurrection based in urban areas isn’t practical under modern conditions.

Antifa thinks it is. It’s what they’re planning for.

One of the things I have to remind myself of occasionally is that most people know essentially nothing about Communist theory and Communist revolutionary tactics.

Antifa is running the classic Communist playbook. Make the enemy fight you where you are strong and they are weak – where you have support among the people and (when possible) cover from sympathetic local officials.

Historically that has usually meant fighting from rural areas where the reach of the government is weak. But the Russian Revolution was an exception, and the revolution Antifa is trying to fight is another. Their natural home ground is large coastal cities run by left-wing Democrats.

ESR also provides ironclad evidence to support his contention in the above-quoted Tweet/X/Whatever.

Man, I really gotta come up with some kind of nomenclature to refer to those blasted things.

Sleeping through it update! Another ringing endorsement of refusing to go on playing the Left’s game by the One Rule mentioned above.

Somehow it is inconceivable to anyone on the political right that anyone might actually mean what they say about politics and actually be willing to fight for any of the things they claim to be willing to fight for.

Maybe Right Wingers could just look at the people saying “We hate you, we want you dead, and we are committing violence against you” and right wingers could think that they’re committing violence against you, and maybe they hate you, and they want you dead… and maybe you should hate them back?

What did you think “Civil War” meant? Vibes? Essays?

If the state’s monopoly on violence is corrupted to serve evil… would it not be time to break that monopoly? To enter that monopolized market with a new disruptive innovations, so to speak.

If the government is a usurper regime that doesn’t represent you, and is dressing up tyranny under cover of a barely feigned playact of legitimacy… Well you’re American, what did your founders do in such a situation?

Yet Even as millions of leftists openly celebrate this shooting and wish for more of them to happen, and openly state that they’ll see any who commit said shootings as heroes worth celebrating….

It is inconceivable to the Right Winger that immortal fame, their own sincerest convictions, true hatred, the judging eyes of their political forefathers, and the celebration of MILLIONS might actually be worth doing or risking something over.

Just sit back and pay taxes and keep his head down whilst serving the enemies who hate him and paying for their six figure salaries in government employment whilst waiting for more people to “wake up”… Even as they brainwash his kids to hate him, and “cut ties”, and cut their genitals off.

Just wait bro, more people need to wake up!

Kennedy was shot 60 year ago. The first people to “wake up” are in nursing homes.

You’ve waited so long for people to “wake up” that the majority have fallen back asleep and died of old age.

Yeppers, so it would seem.

Whataboutist update! Margolis handily dispenses with the noxious “Both sides” canard.

To maintain their crumbling narrative, the left weaponized a deeply flawed study from the CATO Institute’s Alex Nowrasteh, which purports to show that right-wing extremists commit the majority of politically motivated killings in America. This convenient talking point has been parroted everywhere to deflect from the fact that their side just murdered one of conservatism’s most prominent young voices.

But when you actually examine Nowrasteh’s methodology—which I have—the whole thing falls apart faster than a House Democrat’s promise to secure the border.

Take Timothy McVeigh, labeled “right-wing” despite his ideology having nothing to do with traditional conservatism. McVeigh was an anti-government extremist whose rage stemmed from Waco and Ruby Ridge, not conservative principles. The man rejected both political parties, described himself as agnostic, and supported abortion rights.

Then there’s Anderson Lee Aldrich, the Club Q shooter, branded “right-wing” despite identifying as non-binary and suffering from documented mental illness. Peyton Gendron, the Buffalo supermarket shooter, gets the same “right-wing” label even though his own manifesto explicitly identified him as an “eco-fascist national socialist”—hardly traditional conservative ideology. The study also classified a couple who killed a sex offender as perpetrators of “right-wing” violence despite the fact it was a personal vendetta with no apparent political motivation whatsoever.

Even more telling is what Nowrasteh’s study leaves out entirely. Notice how the data shows a convenient dip in 2020—the same year America witnessed the most destructive riots in its history. The George Floyd riots caused billions in property damage and at least nineteen deaths, yet somehow none of these deaths made it into his tally of political violence.

The Waukesha Christmas parade attacker, who drove his truck through a crowd in 2021 killing six people, also got left out. When you correct for these glaring omissions and misclassifications, the numbers between left-wing and right-wing violence become roughly equal—and that’s just examining the past decade.

But, the narrative that political violence is a right-wing problem took another hit this past week, when, Anibal Hernandez-Santana, a 64-year-old former legislative director for the California Federation of Teachers, decided to turn his politics into bullets with a drive-by shooting at the local ABC station. This wasn’t some random act—it happened just one day after protesters gathered there with their usual signs calling Trump “Hitler” and his supporters “fascist enablers.” Hernandez-Santana absorbed that mood of righteous fury, posted calls for Trump’s demise on social media, and then carried his left-wing politics into the realm of violence.

And that wasn’t all. Saturday night in Nashua, New Hampshire, 23-year-old Hunter Nadeau opened fire at the Sky Meadow Country Club, killing one and injuring at least two others while shouting “Free Palestine!”

The truth is unavoidable: the left doesn’t just tolerate political violence, it cultivates it. They spent the summer of 2020 making excuses for rioters while their media allies described burning buildings as “mostly peaceful protests.” They’ve created an atmosphere where their followers believe they have a moral obligation to commit violence against their political opponents.

We keep hearing lectures about “rising extremism on the right,” but the evidence keeps piling up showing exactly where the real threat is coming from. A popular conservative leader gets assassinated. A leftist union operative shoots up a television station. An anti-Israel radical sprays gunfire into a country club. And somehow the left still thinks it can wag its finger at conservatives?

Well, naturally. When you’re not merely comfortable with spewing brazen lies in the face of obvious truth but have actually come to prefer it that way, wagging a finger self-righteously at your hated enemies begins to look like pretty small beer.

Give it a rest, bitch

Just another bog-standard shitlib attempt to shift responsibility away from the limp-dick Leftards who truly deserve it, and fob it off onto somebody who doesn’t, that’s all. As such, there’s nothing whatever new to see here.

Unbelievable: Nancy Pelosi Defends Dems’, the Left’s Violent Rhetoric After Charlie Kirk’s Assassination
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) appeared to defend the violent rhetoric on the left after the founder of Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk, was assassinated and said her party “cannot take responsibility for the minds that are out there.”

Speaking at an event in Maryland on Friday, the former Democratic House leader called for an end to gun violence and completely disregarded the often violent rhetoric that comes directly from those in her party, in their comments about President Donald Trump, his supporters, and other Republicans in the public eye.

“People don’t have any intention of saying something that’s going to lead to something dangerous,” Pelosi said. “But we cannot take responsibility for the minds that are out there and how they hear it.” In short, the Democrat lawmaker is saying there’s no way the left could take responsibility for their rhetoric against Conservatives because they had no idea that it could lead to violence. At one point, Pelosi said that after Kirk’s murder, “Most of our colleagues put out similar statements of— while we may not agree politically, philosophically, or in any other way, that doesn’t matter. What does matter is that our prayers and thoughts are with the family, and may he rest in peace.”

Yeah, whyn’tcha just go die in a fire or sumpin’, you shit-slurping hard-Left em-B-syle. Sorry, I’m afraid your lame try at blame-shifting isn’t fooling anyone.

Madness, or method?

Oh, I dunno; I think maybe “diabolical stratagem” might actually be more the mots juste, with “Satanic plot” overtopping all comers to take the prize for accuracy, honesty, clarity, and forthrightness. Regarding the UK’s arrest of decidedly non-Woke comedian Graham Linehan for the heinous crime of Aggravated DoublePlusUngoodthink W/ Intent to Poke Fun at Pyrsynzz Of “Transgender,” Steyn opines:

I was glad to see Rupert Lowe post this:

However, I disagree that it is “MADNESS”. It is not. It is conscious strategy – because even any residual culture of free speech is incompatible with what they’re planning to do to you.

Which is why I don’t think “politics”, at least as it has been traditionally understood, will be much help to us. Have you been following the German municipal elections? Headline from Bild:

Parteien verpflichten sich, nur positiv über Migration zu sprechen

Which means:

Parties commit to speaking positively about migration

Hang on, that must be some sort of typing error, right? But no:

The CDU, the SPD, the Greens, FDP, the Left Party, and Volt have agreed, at the initiative of the Cologne Round Table for Integration, not to speak negatively about migration during the campaign. This so-called ‘Fairness Agreement’ by all the parties except the AfD (which was not even asked) stipulates that ‘migrants and refugees must not be held responsible for negative social developments such as unemployment or threats to internal security’. In principle, the parties have agreed ‘not to conduct the election campaign at the expense of people living among us with a migrant background.’

So all the parties but one have agreed to talk only positively about mass migration. This in a city, Cologne, where migrants marked New Year’s Eve a few years back with an orgy of mass rape that “mainstream” media declined to report, and in a country where only the other day an “asylum seeker” threw a sixteen-year-old girl under a train.

The dead girl is from Ukraine. She would have been safer in a war zone – as would this Ukrainian lady in North Carolina. If you wanted to incentivise revolutionary uprising, you would do as the German establishment did and sign a “fairness agreement” confirming that electoral politics is just a massive diversion for the rubes. Oh, but don’t worry: the political class is still free to have vigorous disagreements on the Shopping Mall Parking Lot Expansion bill.

The tyrannies of Europe really ought to rethink just what it is they’re incentivizing here, lest their Oaf Class subjects get themselves a bellyful of being abused by their own governments and decide it’s high time they started doing a little “incentivizing” of their own.

Unappealing update! CHERCHEZ LE “TRANNY”!!!

Graham Linehan accuser ‘is disgraced transgender police officer’
A disgraced transgender police officer is believed to have reported Graham Linehan, the gender-critic Father Ted creator, to the police over his social media posts.

Former Pc Lynsay Watson, who was born Alex Horwood, was sacked by Leicestershire Police for gross misconduct in 2023 after allegedly harassing a free speech campaigner and critic of gender ideology.

An anonymous social media account, believed to be linked to Watson, boasted in April this year of reporting Linehan to the police over several social media posts he made about transgender issues. The account encouraged other transgender activists to do the same.

Watson has a well-documented history of calling on police forces to pursue criminal investigations of campaigners who are sceptical of the belief that self-identification, and not biological sex, determines what a man or woman is.

Just when you thought the story couldn’t possibly get more off-putting than it was already…

What do you do…

When your own government is your most serious, pernicious, and pressing threat?

Why Is a Navy Vet Still Sitting in Prison When Nothing ATF Found in His Home Was Illegal?

Why indeed.

Anyone who still believes that former U.S. Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Patrick “Tate” Adamiak must have done something wrong or illegal in order to justify his 20-year federal prison sentence need only look at the documents his team has just released.

The documents are damning, but not for Adamiak.

The documents are damning for the ATF.

The documents show that the ATF was severely screwed after they stormed into Adamiak’s home based solely on an informant’s misinformation, because they found nothing illegal.

The documents show how the ATF then took extremely questionable steps to charge the now 31-year-old with illegally possessing 31 machineguns and four destructive devices, even though none of the items the ATF found are actually machineguns or destructive devices.

After their botched raid, the ATF had to try something – anything – to avoid looking like complete idiots, Adamiak’s father believes.

However, the actions ATF took only made the entire situation much worse. Adamiak had no prior criminal record until the ATF kicked in his doors. He was already in the pipeline to become a U.S. Navy SEAL.

For those who value freedom, even a quick review of Adamiak’s documents will bring on confusion and possibly even anger – none more so than the page about his toy STEN submachinegun.

By “toy,” they are in fact talking about a plastic Sten replica, a child’s non-functional plaything that the ATF extensively, radically modified until they’d gotten their Frankensteinian creation to successfully fire one (1) round, at which point they went after their intended prey for his nonexistent “crime” like a pack of half-starved wolves falling upon a fat, stray lamb.

The eager-beaver FederalGovCo employee behind this outrageous assault against that lovely lady with the scales and the blindfold we’re all familiar with, but have seen less and less of in recent years, has a name, a face, and a home address (bold mine, as ever).

The government’s case against Adamiak was led by two Assistant U.S. Attorneys, but their main witness became the real reason why a jury found Adamiak guilty, and a federal judge sentenced him to 20 years in prison.

Jeffrey R. Bodell, who works out of a small ATF office in Martinsburg, West Virginia, was the state’s main witness.

Bodell is an ATF Firearms Enforcement Officer, or FEO, who has worked in ATF’s Firearms and Ammunition Technology Division since he was hired in November 2020.

When he took the stand to testify about what he did to Adamiak’s firearms, Bodell had been an ATF employee for less than two years.

Most damning was the fact that this was the first time Bodell had ever testified at any trial. He is also the ATF staffer who turned toys into firearms and legal semi-autos into machineguns.

There’s a photo of the Swamp rat at the link; he looks about like you’d expect. The scum-slurping shitstain shoulda pulled hemp, been gunned down from afar, or dragged a cpl-three miles behind a beat-up old pickup long ago, if you ask me. For his part, Mr Adamiak has a little something to say about this wretched villainy his own self.

It’s incredible that all of this even happened. Now, there are new prosecutors assigned to my appeal. I wish they had the courage to make the hard call and step up and admit that a mistake was made and then correct it. Don’t let me sit in prison any longer. This was Joe Biden’s fault, not President Trump’s.

“A mistake was made”? Sorry, youngster, but that ain’t gonna cut it. It’s a safe bet that not a single thing went down here that wasn’t fully intentional, scripted right down to the Nth detail, and approved in advance by Bodell’s superiors. You can be sure, too, that there’s an official manual in every ATF office which spells out the operational plan for such a campaign; all the gear needed to successfully execute it; best training regimen for readying the field team(s) tasked with its implementation; and the most convincing way to deny all involvement and/or knowledge at press conferences after the mission has gone off the rails, blown up in your face, and become public knowledge.

Neither will it do to ladle blame over Trump or Biden for this ugly business. For one thing, it’s just too easy, and will distract attention from larger, more burning issues. For another, we all already know damned well who’s to blame anyway, whether we wish to admit it or no. Ultimately, the true malefactor, the crème de la culprit responsible for the abhorrent, ongoing persecution of Tate Adamiak is Amerika v2.0’s rogue, illegitimate, out of control Federal bloatocracy, regardless of which empty suit pretends to be nominally in charge of it at any given time.

Who they are, what they do

Ladies and germs, just another typical day of your D卐M☭CRAT Party hard at…well, at something, anyway.

Re: that first one up top, Ace has ya covered on the further details.

George and Alex Soros financed another rally in support of the MS-13 terrorist and human trafficker Albrego-Garcia.

Democrat Senator and TikTok Influencer Chris Van Hollen met with the human trafficker again, to support him.

You may remember that Albrego-Garcia was and is an illegal alien who was ordered deported from the US. He was never granted any kind of legal status. He conned one judge into believing that he had a “reasonable fear” of attacks by an El Salvadoran gang — probably because he murdered the mother of one of those gang members — and was barred from being deported to El Salvador, only.

So now Trump is sending his human-trafficking mother-murdering ass to a safe third country, Uganda.

But what’s this? Suddenly Albrego-Garcia has developed a “reasonable fear” of persecution in Uganda, too!!!

What a highly fortunate 11th-hour phobia to develop!!!

I know, right? Why, what an incredible coinkydink! One last reminder of who they’ve always been, what they’ve always done.

There really ain’t no way to make that better, but good on these folks for trying just the same.

BOTTOM LINE: The D卐M☭CRAT (criminal organization masquerading as a political) Party should—MUST, actually—be broken up and permanently banned, all its members executed for treason. Yeah, they’re guilty of many other high crimes and misdemeanors as well, but what the hey, we can only hang ‘em once.

Update! Yes, execute this shitlib Hack In Black too.

Federal judges are at it again. Another Obama appointee has temporarily blocked the Trump administration from deporting Kilmar Abrego Garcia. The Hill reports:

A federal judge on Monday doubled down that the Trump administration is “absolutely forbidden” from removing mistakenly deported man Kilmar Abrego Garcia from the U.S., for now.

U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis, an appointee of former President Obama, blocked Abrego Garcia’s deportation to Uganda until she can hold a hearing to determine whether the administration will let him contest his removal to the third country.

Here we go again.

Indeed. So how many more times will Real Americans put up with this shit before they decide to stand up and do the necessary, then?
