Liberals: If we don’t get our way, we will assassinate you

Also liberals: These assassination attempts are all YOUR fault, not ours.

Well, of COURSE they are, Mollie. Just remember the handy-dandy rule of thumb: OUR speech is “violence,” THEIR violence is “speech.”

Some things really never DO change

History doesn’t repeat itself but only rhymes, eh? The hell you say.

“The Russians are dumbfounded by the many little things our soldiers carry on their person. They think the snapshots of our homes, our rooms, our girls, are propaganda. It takes a very long time to convince them that they are genuine, that all Germans are not cannibals. They presently even doubt the truth of the indoctrinated catchword: Germanski nix Kultura. In a few days time, here as elsewhere, the Russians come and ask if they may be allowed to hang up again their icons and their crucifixes. Previously under the Soviet regime they have had to keep them hidden away because of the disapproval of a son, a daughter, or a commissar. That we raise no objection to their displaying them evidently impresses them. If you tell them that there are any amount of crucifixes and religious pictures to be seen in our country they can hardly believe it. Hastily they re-erect their holy niches and repeatedly assure us of their hope that this permission will not be revoked. They live in terror of their commissars, who keep the village under surveillance and spy on its inhabitants. This office is often undertaken by the village schoolmaster.”

Bold mine, and dispositive. Sure looks as if history is repeating itself pretty damned exactly, if you ask me.

The above passage is from the amazing Hans-Ulrich Rudel’s amazing autobiography, Stuka Pilot—a book I’ve had ever since I was but a wee chap, and of late have been skimming through yet again, just for the halibut.

Do understand, please, that this is NOT to be taken as any kind of endorsement of Naziism over Communism, as all too many of us are wont to do nowadays. Far as I’m concerned that’s a distinction without a difference; there’s little to choose between the two, and to be enslaved under one is tantamount to being likewise enslaved under the other. Thanks but no thanks, bub. No matter how you slice ‘em, they’re both pure baloney.

What if they don’t?

Steyn comes right out and says it, point blank.

They Want Him Dead
The alleged perp is said to have been “known” to the FBI, and, even more bizarrely, was favourably profiled in The New York Times last year for his efforts to organise a grand convergence of the Pentagon’s wars without end by recruiting Afghans to fight in Ukraine. Curious.

On the other hand, if you’re searching for patterns among the chaos, this seems as good as any:

The grim new reality of our “democracy” is we can tell whether trump won a debate by whether an assassination attempt follows shortly thereafter

— Darren J. Beattie 🌐 (@DarrenJBeattie) September 15, 2024

My own line on failed assassinations is that of the IRA taunting Mrs Thatcher after the Brighton bombing: You have to be lucky every time; we only have to be lucky once.

In the last two months, Trump has been lucky twice. There are another two months to go: can he be lucky thrice? Four times?

If I were Trump I wouldn’t want these guys anywhere near me – the official government protection, that is. The law-&-order types on the right have been ballyhooing the quick thinking of one individual agent on the ground – which is fine and dandy, but conveniently absolves the “bureaucracy” of its failure to provide sufficient protection, even after he’s already been shot and an American citizen has died. Trump is one of the comparatively few presidents who has taken a bullet for his country, which is more than even Tim Walz can claim, but nobody who matters is interested. The court eunuchs at ABC News couldn’t be bothered with a question on this summer’s near-assassination, but they did make room for a question about the rental practices of Donald Trump’s father over half-a-century ago.

As for this latest incident, the wife of the Hero of Impeachment One and sister-in-law of a Virginia congressional candidate sums up the general attitude of the Dems:

No ears were harmed. Carry on with your Sunday afternoon.

— Rachel Vindman 🇺🇸🦅🌻 (@natsechobbyist) September 15, 2024

As Hugh Hewitt responded, “The family of Corey Comperatore would like a word with Rachel Vindman.”

So would I, actually. So, I imagine, would a great many other Real Americans—a very private word, up close and personal, one she would in no wise enjoy hearing.

Does sorta make me wonder though, if only in a devil’s advocate sort of way: given the kind of brain-dead dysfunctionals they’ve sent forth so far—useless feebs who’ve made a career of being unable to find their own asses with both hands and a compass—can we say they really DO want him dead? I mean, is what we’ve seen so far really the best they have in the FederalGovCo ranch? Because if so, they just might be as pathetic and incompetent as some of us have said all along. Might explain a lot, if you look at it that way.

Comeuppance for not-great Brit

Another impeccable smackdown, this one an oldie but goldie from 2018.

WATCH: British State Media Hack Does Migrant Propaganda, Polish MEP Immediately Slaps Her Down
Having gone down a rabbit hole of Eastern Europe’s policies vis-à-vis Third World immigration, I came across a wild 2018 clip featuring Cathy Newman and Dominik Tarczyński, Member of the European Parliament (MEP) on the topic of Poland’s blanket refusal of “refugees.”

Cathy didn’t know what she was getting into. She must have thought she was dealing with a limp-wristed Tory or whatever passes for nationalism in Great Britain these days.

Eastern Europeans are built differently.

Cathy insists on calling them “refugees”; Tarczyński insists in turn on calling them illegal Muslim immigrants. Cathy is consternated that Tarczyński seems “proud” that his country rejects Muslim immigrants; Tarczyński is unfazed. Cathy asks how many “refugees” Poland has taken, and he gives her the exact answer, to which she responds by accusing him of — and you’ll be shocked — racism:

Zero…If you’re asking me about Muslim illegal immigration, none, not even one, will come to Poland, not even one if it’s illegal. We took over two million Ukrainians who are working, who are peaceful in Poland, we will not receive even one Muslim because this is what we promised…

This is why our government was elected. This is why Poland is so safe. This is the reason why we have not even one terrorist attack…We can be called populists, nationalists, racists, I don’t care. I care about my family and my country.

As well he might, and damn’ sure oughta. Onwards.

You might recall Cathy Newman from her self-immolating “interview” with Jordan Peterson that was actually just her shadow-boxing a caricature that she made up about him, which subsequently went viral for all the reasons she wished it hadn’t — a painful exhibition of the kind of straw manning the corporate state media is notorious for.

Yet here are the Polish handling their “refugee” crisis in the most appropriate manner possible, except that perhaps they are using non-lethal weapons like pepper spray instead of more determinative tools.

For the nonce, anyhow. Even so, I think it entirely safe to say that such-like dreadful escalation is almost certainly coming, and that right soon—in scattered at-risk subsectors, if not across whacking great swathes of Western Civ entire.

In any event, how refreshing it is that the leaders of Poland, Hungary, and other former Soviet-bloc nation-states remain sensible enough, indomitable enough, defiantly patriotic enough, to unapologetically put the interests of their own people first and foremost (the esteemed and estimable Hungarian PM Viktor Orban gets a mention in the cited article)—as opposed to the dickless so-called “leadership” of Great Britainistan and the EUnuch dogpile who are only too eager to tuck their tails fearfully, roll over onto their backs and present their yellow bellies in a piteous show of abject submission, and sell out their own subject populations for a mess of PC pottage.

For whatever bizarre reason, “leaders” of MZZXXX Newman’s despicable stripe always seem to be far more keen to attack, insult, and brutalize their own hapless countrymen than the designated “victim”-class colonizers du jour. Far be it from those lordly beings to commingle with the deplorable Other Ranks; simply unthinkable, to demean their exalted personages via deigning to root, snort, and swill at the slop-troughs of the mud-caked domestic Lower Orders right alongside the appalling Rayciss!!™ swine. Heaven forfend!

Not Our Kind, wot-wot! Now do be a dear, lovey: run along and fetch me another of your exquisite Melonball Martinis, woon’tchew? The SuperJumboPlus-sized flagon, if you please, with mounds and mounds of orange slices, lime and lemon wedges, Maraschino cherries, festive swizzle sticks, and those delightful miniature cocktail brollies, thenksveddymuch. Mind you don’t forget a wad of the small beverage nappies, me lass, printed in the most frightfully lurid colors to hand. Pip-pip and jolly good show, eh wot? I sye, THERE’S a good serving-wench! Give no attention to the overfed, bespectacled bugger bearing an uncanny resemblance to an overgrown frog in mismatched, spectacularly unfashionable clothing, there by the bar-counter waving his hand unctuously at you. To my undying shame I’m personally acquainted with the ill-favored blighter, we were at school together as boys. Take it from me, he’s a wrong ‘un: a pox, a right perisher, an absolute rotter—by way, actually, of being the neighborhood curse. Sod him! Off y’go then, and good luck to ye. Well done, tallyho, yoicks, topping, cheerio, and all that rubbish…

That being the case, trust Newman and her Globalist Ruling Class cohort to bark at their national brethren and sistren (a-HENH!) more ferociously, bite them more savagely, harass them more perfervidly, and oppress them more creatively, variously, and incessantly than they ever will anybody else. With the GRC©, it’s nothing but bowing, simpering rumpswabbery for immivader hordes, avowed-enemy shitrapies, and assorted plunderous beggar-nations. For the poor benighted sods they misrule, however, it’s the back of the hand, sneering contumely, and languorous disdain at best, neither more nor less.

Yes, both Over There and rat cheer in Amerika v2.0 as well, in case anybody was about to comfort themselves with a relieved sigh and the tired old standby, “Thank goodness it can never happen here!” Alas, it is my painful duty to inform you all, with utmost sorrow and regret, that oh yes it certainly can; in fact it has, it is, and it will continue to. That is, unless/until it is stopped—forcefully, unmercifully, decisively, beyond the most niggling possibility of misinterpretation, misrepresentation, or disputatious picking of nits. I refer you to Mike’s Iron Law #873, among several others, for confirmation, related observations in support of etc, tawdry sloganeering, and other random unpleasantness.

The GRC©’s arrogance is illimitable; their self-regard insufferable; their perspective badly skewed; their immoderation rampant, their compassion for their own Serf Class inferiors imperceptible. It’s the way of all pusillanimous pissants, see; it’s who they are, it’s what they do, always and forever, in every place, in every time. It cometh naturally to them, this ragged pastiche of traits, tendencies, and motivations born less of conscious thought and self-volition than of quasi-autonomic reflex.

As for the FUSA itself, if John and Betty Sue Normal want this unprecedented traducement of all and every precept of good governance, basic human decency, and the security and safety of their homes, their towns, and their very persons to stop (which, it appears that they do; I mean, how could they NOT, for Pete’s sake?), they must needs deal with the grotesque, sewer-crawling mutants of their own domestic Swamp-Critter Class who are responsible—directly, spitefully, heedlessly, intentionally, and with malice aforethought—for calling this unwarranted affliction down on their heads if they seriously hope to make it happen.

We all know full well what that means, what it will necessarily entail, whether we admit the cold, harsh reality to ourselves or not. So will we or won’t we, then? Only time will tell. And, I suspect, not a great deal more of it, either.

Speaking of those GRC© shitwits, a classic Monty Python skit would not go amiss, I shouldn’t think.

Other than that, how did you like the play, Mrs Lincoln?

The Show goes on. And on, and on, and interminably on.

BREAKING.🚨

Senator @HawleyMO releases *WHISTLEBLOWER REPORT* on the failed J13 assassination attempt on Donald Trump.

The whistleblower made a number of allegations. Highlights:

  • Majority of DHS personnel unfamiliar with security protocols
  • Only training received by many HSI agents was a single two-hour webinar
  • Law enforcement was supposed to be on roof where Crooks shot Trump, post was abandoned
  • Night before the rally, Secret Service denied offers to utilize Butler County’s drones
  • USS Counter Surveillance Division (CSD) did not perform routine pre-event surveillance
  • Gunman would have been handcuffed after being spotted with range finder if USS CSD present
  • Secret Service lead agent lacked competence and experience
  • Secret Service preemptively informed Pittsburgh field office the Butler rally was not going to receive additional security resources

Hawley’s whistleblower report concludes:

“Two months have now elapsed since former President Donald J. Trump was nearly assassinated. And the American people still know far too little about why this happened.”

“The Secret Service, FBI, and Department of Homeland Security have not been forthcoming with the American people. Far from it: they have closed ranks, refused to confirm or deny whistleblower allegations, and resisted meaningful oversight. In fact, sources with direct knowledge of Secret Service’s own internal investigation have alleged to Senator Hawley that the Department of Homeland Security is leaning on Secret Service not to comply with document requests from Congress.” […]

“Left alone, these agencies will not reform themselves. They will continue to stonewall and obfuscate. Plainly, it is now up to Congress and the President to clean house at these failing agencies at the earliest possible opportunity.”

WELL, thank goodness this report has at last come out to tell us what we all already knew! Now, betcher by golly we’ll see some for-real ACTION taken here. Right? RIGHT? RIIIIGHT…?!?

* crickets *

Yeah, that’s what I thought. Not that I wish to dump overmuch on Sen Hawley, mind; his heart seems to be in the right place, for the most part at least. Certainly, his child-like faith that “Congress and the President” will respond with alacrity and “clean house at these failing agencies at the earliest possible opportunity” is touching. But all in all, I have to agree with this response:

Word to yo’ mother.

Take your best shot

Expect to see lots, lots more of this going forward.

Trump ‘safe and well’ after being targeted by would-be assassin with scoped AK-47 just a few hundred yards away while ex-prez played golf
Former President Donald Trump narrowly survived yet another assassination attempt after a sniper with a scoped AK-47 rifle got within a few hundred yards of him as he played golf at his West Palm Beach, Florida club on Sunday.

It is the second time a madman armed with an assault rifle has tried to kill the 45th president in two months.

Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw said the suspect took cover near a chain-link fence between 300 and 500 yards from Trump around 2 p.m. — noting that “with a rifle and scope, like, that is not a long distance.”

Law-enforcement sources told The Post that the suspect is Ryan Routh, a 58-year-old Hawaii resident who has championed progressive causes online and was a reliable donor to Democratic causes and candidates.

On Sunday, the accused wannabe assassin set up a GoPro camera on the fence with the apparent intent of recording the shooting — part of a full-fledged sniper’s nest he orchestrated in the hedges at the edge of the Trump International Golf Course, where he was lying in wait for Trump to come into view.

A Secret Service agent spotted the suspect as he stuck the barrel of his rifle through the chain fence on the outskirts of Trump International Golf Course West Palm Beach South.

The agent, who was a golf hole ahead of Trump, opened fire on the suspect — who then fled the scene, Bradshaw told reporters Sunday night.

Authorities have yet to determine if the shooter got off any shots at the Secret Service agents or at Trump.

“Madman,” you say? Yep, if this photo is any indication the description would appear to be most apt.

An AR, an AK—still curious as to how these Froot-Loop loonies are able to get anywhere within a country mile of Trump toting battle rifles like this. Twice in two months now? SRSLY?!?

Wild-eyed insurrectionist revolutionary gets hers

Just deserts.

Peaceful ‘J6 Granny’ Gets the Federal Shaft in Sentencing

Because OF COURSE she did, man!

“Every decent man is ashamed of the government he lives under.”
– H. L. Mencken

I covered this over at PJ Media earlier today.

As punishment for taking a 27-minute nonviolent tour of the Capitol on January 6th, 2021, after being granted permission to enter by cops on site, grandmother and friend of Armageddon Prose Karen Jones has, over three years after the alleged insurrection and many thousands of retirement dollars squandered on defense attorneys, been sentenced to a three-year probation/house arrest regime — for a single misdemeanor charge of “Entering or Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds.”

The court acknowledged her lack of criminal history, the absence of evidence that she committed any violence at the Capitol, and that she did not enter any private areas of the Capitol.

Nevertheless, the judge strapped her with an ankle monitor, charged her $3,000, and threw her on probation for three years with drug tests and home visits from the officer whenever it so pleases the state.

“I regret not being able to participate in this election cycle. It seems un-American to use the court system to silence political speech,” Karen told me.

Is this case, and its outcome, political(ly) motivated?

In light of the curious case of likely Fed, Ray Epps — who showed up in tactical gear and actively promoted in multiple instances, on camera, violent insurrection and got a year of probation and no travel restrictions — it’s hard to argue it’s not.

“Hard”? It’s goddamned impossible, actually. On the other hand, I feel a helluva lot safer and will sleep much easier at night knowing this dangerous, violent Grammaniac is being punished for her outrageous crimes against the Überstadt.

If I may pretend to be serious for a moment here: next time they decide to visit Mordor On The Potomac to cast down the Barad-dûr, Our Side definitely needs to remember to bring the guns along. I dunno, mebbe tie a string around their fingers or something…?

SIDE NOTE: Gonna have to pinch that excellent quote from curmudgeon cum laude Mencken for one of my patented email signatures, I do believe. My email correspondents already know what I’m talking about.

Update! Done, and DONE: the Mencken quote has now been added to my custom-signatures list (for interested parties, if any, said signatures are managed by the handy-dandy Signature Switch plugin for Thunderbird, of which email client I’ve been a delighted user ever since the incomparable Stacy Tabb at HM ordered me to dump Apple’s Mail app eons ago). So y’all aforementioned email correspondents can look forward to seeing good ol’ HL popping up in your inboxes before too long. EXCELSIOR—another CF promise KEPT, by cracky!

Fight the Futurists

Forget Fox Mulder, what we need most right now is Sarah Conner.

Time To Rebel: We Are Now Entering The Total Censorship Stage Of Global Tyranny
The authoritarian regimes of the past century have all followed a pattern of events that is generally predictable. Almost every totalitarian government has been inspired by the ideologies of the political left. Meaning, increasingly bigger government, socialist control of resources, the melding of bureaucracy and corporate entities, demands for “social justice”, collectivist propaganda, the abandonment of individual merit for the sake of the state and the “greater good”, Marxism not just from an economic standpoint but also a cultural standpoint, and finally, the adoption of Futurism.

Futurism is, in my view, the key to all modern authoritarianism. It’s a philosophy that has been present at the birth of nearly every major despotic government in recent memory and it’s the root of leftist ideology today. Futurists argue that history is, for the most part, dead weight. They believe that every notion of heritage, the lessons of the past, the ideals and principles of our forefathers are all irrelevant.

Futurists think nothing is sacred and all new ideas are superior to all old ideas. Therefore, they claim, any society that clings to (or conserves) the old ways needs to be dismantled because it is holding humanity back from progress. In other words, anyone promoting or defending traditional norms must be silenced in the name of “progress.”

I suspect most people reading this at least intuitively understand the monstrous nature of this belief system. The very structure of futurism is based on a lie – The idea that all change is good and that any oppression committed in the name of change is justified.

In Brazil, leftist authoritarians have shut down Elon Musk’s X (formerly Twitter) because Musk has refused to institute their censorship model on his social media site. To Musk’s credit, he has been willing to lose Brazil’s business and stand by his principles.

The developments in the UK are another blatant example, with the government now trying to hunt down and imprison people for the most minor of actions (a British teen was recently put in prison for two years for merely flying a British flag near a Mosque). Anyone who stands against multiculturalism (and futurism) risks being arrested and thrown in a cage.

UK authorities have suggested that Elon Musk should be charged and that other Americans should be extradited for promoting conservative values on immigration or arguing in favor of British protests. We’re just pointing out that there’s only two ways this can go: Either the British people rebel and violently overthrow the globalist puppets in their own government, or, they will become slaves living in fear within their own country.

It sounds truly insane; all of this drama over basic free speech rights, but this is the world we are now approaching and leftists are happily supporting the transition.

Musk has stated that he believes X will eventually be shut down in the US should Kamala Harris gain the presidency in the November election, and I’m inclined to agree. Look at what the establishment did to social media newcomer Parler when they started gaining traction; the elites simply shut down their ability to function efficiently on the web grow their user base. Under a Harris regime they will feel emboldened to go even further.

The rhetoric of the Democrats is quite clear – They are anti-free speech and they view certain ideas as a threat to our THEIR society.

And that, as is the way with all tyrants, is something they just will not stand for. The silver lining? Smith puts it pithily:

Frankly, a rebellion doesn’t need to ask for permission to rebel.

Indeed it doesn’t; certainly, it shouldn’t be asking. The question before us remains the same old one I’m becoming downright monotonous about asking: are there enough Real Americans left who are genuinely interested in rebelling? Read the rest for Smith’s perhaps overly optimistic response. Which brings us right back around to Bedford Forrest’s evergreen admonition to “get ‘em skeered, and keep the skeer on ‘em.”

Update! Via Glenn: related? Oh, you just bet your sweet bippy it is.

What September 11, 2001 Taught Us: There Are No Adults in the Room
The Axis of Evil in American politics is now complete: Barack Obama, Dick Cheney, and Kamala Harris are all on the same side. They will compromise on any of their supposed ideological differences and bury old blood-stained hatchets — remember when the Left called Cheney a war profiteer and blood-crazed jingoist? — in pursuit of a higher goal.

That goal is keeping power in the hands of tiny, privileged elites who despise most lesser Americans. And centralizing such power in the hands of unelected bureaucrats, including the power to start pointless wars (see Iraq, Libya, and Ukraine), and flood American cities with tens of thousands of poor immigrants. Remember that it was Bush/Cheney that started the policy of recruiting Somalis and flying them over 10 safe Muslim countries in order to make Minnesota more “diverse.” Mission accomplished!

You could see the coalition taking shape years ago, when all the Best People gathered for John McCain’s funeral in Washington, D.C., and then-President Donald Trump was pointedly disinvited. Our elites air-kissed and traded alligator tears around McCain’s flag-draped casket. In a touching moment of bipartisan polyamory, George W. Bush and Michelle Obama flirted like 13-year-olds while Barack looked on with a smile.

What unites these power elites beside a haughty contempt for the public they claim to serve? One key qualification that is too little discussed, even among MAGA types: amoral, blasé, dilettantish incompetence, unencumbered by moral principles or basic human empathy.

Few of these high-flying powerbrokers rose to the top on merit. As one of us (John) explained in his September 31, 2022 TED Talk in Davos, Switzerland, these people are sharp-toothed, aggressive “alpha sheep,” whose skill set centers on sniffing out elite opinion, quickly conforming to it, then ruthlessly punishing any member of the herd that steps out of line.

Time and past time that these “alpha sheep” got their asses sheared, but good. Trust me when I tell y’uns that you’re gonna want to read every last word of this one too.

DEBUNKED!

Or, y’know, NOT. Whichever.

EXCLUSIVE: Police Audio, Report Confirm Haitian Goose-Hunting In Ohio: ‘They All Had Geese In Their Hands’
A caller reported to police a group of Haitian migrants carrying four geese in Springfield, Ohio in exclusive audio obtained by The Federalist.

A recording of a police phone call obtained by The Federalist reveals a local resident reporting a group of Haitian migrants carrying four geese in Springfield, Ohio two weeks ago.

“I’m sitting here, I’m riding on the trail, I’m going to my orientation for my job today, and I see a group of Haitian people, there was about four of ’em, they all had geese in their hand,” the caller tells the public services dispatcher in the audio recording of the call.

According to a police report reviewed by The Federalist, the call was placed on Aug. 26, before the Columbus suburb located roughly 50 miles from the state capital became nationally known this week for epitomizing the nation’s migrant crisis. The caller told the dispatcher he saw four migrants in total, two men and two women, each carrying a single goose.

“I was trying to get my phone out and I was trying to make it to this orientation on time,” the caller continued. “I’m time crunching here, and I saw that, I’m like, ‘Yeah this has got to be reported,” he tells the non-emergency police dispatcher.

“How many geese did they have?” the dispatcher asks the caller in the recording.

“Uh, they each had one,” he replies.

The caller says he spotted the Haitians carrying the geese at an intersection between Water and Warder Street, a location that does exist in Springfield and is confirmed in the police report later filed about the incident.

Debunked,” is it? Just another “liberal” lie, nothing more, in accordance with my longstanding guiding principle: Assume they’re lying, always, for if they couldn’t lie, they’d have nothing whatsoever to say. Which, come to think of it, sounds like another shoo-in candidate for addition to our Mike’s Iron Laws section, I do believe.

Update! As promised/threatened: done, and done.

Ready or not, here they come

It’s a big club, and you ain’t in it.

And, apparently, geese and ducks in plenty to slaughter, dress, and eat publicly.

When they aren’t camping out on people’s front lawns and menacing them, that is.

The “Show more” link transcription, because it’s truly, truly infuriating.

Springfield, Ohio woman says homeless Haitians are trying to camp out on her front yard, says she “wants out of this town.”

“I have men that cannot speak English in my front yard, screaming at me, throwing mattresses in my front yard.”

“Look at me, I weigh 95 pounds. I couldn’t defend myself if I had to. My husband is elderly.”

“I don’t understand what you expect of us as citizens. I understand they’re here under temporary protected status and you’re protecting them, and I understand that our city services are overwhelmed and understaffed, but who’s protecting us?”

“Who’s protecting me? I want out of this town. I am sorry. Please give me a reason to stay.”

Whatever would you do, Springfieldians, without Stretch Pelosi’s “spark of divinity” types, eh?

And there you have it. Bottom line: I don’t care how you much you hate D卐M☭CRATs, people, I assure you you do NOT hate them enough.

COINCIDENCE!

Still think so, do ya? Better think again, bub.

It is sometimes impossible to believe that we are just under two months removed from the attempted assassination of Donald Trump — a former President and the Republican nominee to become the President again this year — and we have almost no meaningful information about the incident.

What is not at all impossible to believe is that the media has completely memory-holed the assassination attempt. They simply do not talk about it. Why not? Because discussion of that historic event could help Trump in the election. The media, in their TDS-induced stupor, simply cannot have that.

Fortunately for America, there are still brave people within the Secret Service (not you, Ronald Rowe) who have come forward to shed light on the massive security cock-up on July 13. Thanks to Senator Josh Hawley sharing the testimony of those whistleblowers, we have learned more about the attempt on Trump’s life that we never would have otherwise known.

Last night, Hawley had some shocking new whistleblower testimony that he shared with Jesse Watters on Fox News. It is not hyperbole to say that you are not going to believe what you are about to hear in these four minutes:

Follows, a Twatter video embed, then…

Holy sh*t. Let’s go through the list of what we learned here:

  • A local police countersniper — from the ground, not from an elevated position — neutralized the shooter, NOT the Secret Service (though they did fire the shots that killed him);
  • Acting USSS Director Rowe lied about this in his recent Congressional testimony;
  • Many of the agents assigned to the protective detail on July 13 were not from the Secret Service, but from Homeland Security, which has no experience in protecting a President;
  • Those DHS agents were pulled off of their other jobs, like child endangerment investigations, for this posting;
  • The DHS agents had NO training other than a single webinar;
  • And finally, the webinar didn’t even work for some parts of its two-hour duration.

W … T … A … F!

Is the Secret Service being run by The Three Stooges? Or is that too much of a compliment?

The Secret Service is doing exactly what it’s told, as is the DoJ, FBI, CIA, and all the other appendages of the lumbering Überstadt megalodon. The Twitchy author engages in a smattering of fretful woe-is-we-ing over the prospective reinforcement of “conspiracy theories” and such-like folderol deriving from these shocking—SHOCKING!!!— revelations, as one would expect. But for my money there can be but one conclusion that fits the known facts available to sensible, observant people, to wit:

Eventually, inevitably, poor old Good Time Charlie swallows hard, smooths his hair, squares his weary shoulders, takes a deep, steadying breath, and vaults into the fray with the usual hallucinatory cope.

Aw yeah, THAT’ll fix this thing for sure and certain. And if somehow it doesn’t, why, there’s always the next “election,” and the next, and the next, and the next, and the one after that! Each and every last one of them the most critically vitally crucially vitally IMPORTANT© “election” in our lifetimes, quite possibly EVARRR, you betcher!!!

*Le sigh* Pathetic. Pointless. Soporific. And perhaps most of all: embarrassing.

NOTE: Posted this ‘un with MarsEdit, gang. It’s working, it’s working! Sincerest thanks to Mike M of HM/EntirelyDigital for his capable assistance.

Also, my bog-standard sarcastic derogation of the “elections” will o’ the wisp is aimed squarely at US national elections, which I still maintain are pure theatre, nothing more nor less. Local and state contests are a whole ‘nother kettle of fish in my view, or a great many of them at any rate. YMMV.

Land of the….let’s see now, how’d that line go again?

Sorta bookends the aforementioned Eyrie outing, seems to me, albeit in a small, petty way.

This is when you fight city hall

MINOR QUIBBLE: Actually, that woulda been about forty-fitty years ago if you ask me. Not that you did, of course.

There’s an old saying about how you can’t fight city hall. I’ve always rejected it, in part because I’ve seen too many people do so successfully, but one has to understand that local governments can be particularly malicious when going after those who criticize it.

I, personally, had a number of suspicious run-ins with local code enforcement officers after I started taking issue with the local government here, for example.

But one woman is getting some help from FIRE after her fight with city hall got out of hand.

Legal help is reportedly on the way for an Arizona resident arrested for criticizing her city government during a public meeting last week.

On Monday, the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE), a First Amendment advocacy group, indicated plans to sue the city of Surprise after its mayor had local activist Rebekah Massie detained for scrutinizing a city employee during the locality’s Aug. 20 City Council meeting.

“The First Amendment protects every American’s right to criticize public officials,” FIRE Attorney Conor Fitzpatrick said in a statement given to The Federalist. “The last thing people should fear when they go to a city council meeting to make their voice heard is leaving in handcuffs.”

During her testimony, Massie “questioned the city attorney’s performance and compensation,” according to The Arizona Republic, before being stopped by Mayor Skip Hall, who accused her of “attacking the city attorney personally” and violating rules governing public meetings.

Massie called the guidelines “unconstitutional” and alleged that by refusing to allow her to speak freely, Hall was “violating” her “First Amendment rights.”

Hall subsequently threatened to have Massie removed if she did not cease her criticisms. Following a short back-and-forth with Massie, Hall asked an attending police officer to remove her from the meeting.

Now, understand that Massie was clearly taking issue with the city attorney as pertains to his role as city attorney. There was no personal attack. The city is funneling a ton of money toward an attorney that Massie, as a citizen, thinks exceeds what is warranted.

When you work for a city, your pay is public and people are free to opine over that.

For Massie to be arrested because she attacked his performance as a taxpayer-paid attorney is beyond ridiculous. It’s vile.

I’m glad FIRE is coming to help her.

As am I, although I must confess myself utterly appalled that there’s any need for such assistance in the first place. Much more from Knighton at the link, every last word of which commentary is spot on.

This story is about as revolting, maddening, and beggaring of belief as it gets. Arrested, cuffed, and hauled out physically for…confronting her local-yokel overlords during the public-comment period of a public meeting, no less. More from Rob Zimmerman of Beyond The Black, a top-notch blog which has heretofore been inexplicably absent from Ye Aulde CF Blogrolle—an unpardonable lapse which will be duly addressed anon.

Today’s blacklisted American: Woman arrested in Arizona for publicly criticizing a public employee
They’re coming for you next: While making a public comment criticizing the town’s attorney at the local city council meeting for Surprise in Arizona, Rebekah Massie was ordered to either shut up or be arrested by the town’s mayor, Skip Hall, because the council does not allow citizens to make such criticisms during the public comment period.

When she had the audacity to note quite correctly that she was entirely within her first amendment rights to say whatever she wanted, Hall then had her arrested.

I have embedded the video of this event below. It is egregious beyond words.

Ain’t it, though. Ain’t it just. Onwards.

As Massie states, her right to speak and say whatever she wants has been repeatedly confirmed by Supreme Court rulings. When Hall reads to the council’s rules against any such criticism during public comments, she responds, “That’s all fine and good, but that’s a violation of my first amendment rights.” When he claims she agreed to these rules she repeats, “It is unconstitutional.” His response illustrates his complete ignorance of and contempt for the law and our basic rights under the Bill of Rights, “It’s not unconstitutional.”

When still Massie refuses to be silenced Hall orders her to be removed. When she refuses to leave she is then violently arrested. Hall claimed she was resisting, but Massie later explained, she was “not resisting, my daughter is here, I don’t know what’s going on, you say I’m being detained, but I don’t know what for.”

Massie has an extremely strong case for suing Hall and the entire city council of Surprise for a lot of money. Her arrest was unnecessary for her to win and was probably a mistake on her part, but it makes no difference. The city council’s rule forbidding any criticism of any city employee is absurdly unconstitutional, and to use it to silence Massie makes Hall and that city council very liable for damages.

Zimmerman helpfully provides a photo of and contact info for the execrable thug Hall, which I heartily encourage one and all to make best use of. I will not hector you folks as to the tone, language, or politesse of any such missive, because doing so would certify me as just about the biggest fake, phony fraud (thank you, Bob Grant!) in all of human history. As CF Lifers know by now, that simply ain’t the way I roll; never has been, never gonna be.

Let Mayor Fuckface have it full blast, with both barrels and two (2) reloads of buckshot, sayeth moi. Inarguably, the bipedal rectal polyp has earned that and a whole heck of a lot worse. As have all too many power-drunk ProPols across our beleaugered land, vanity and megalomania have turned his head entirely; he’s gotten way out over the tips of his skis, and badly needs to be—nay, MUST be—put in his place, at soonest.

Around these parts, a perennial head-scratcher going all the way back to the excruciating and interminable Senate tenure of Juanny Mav McStain has been: Exactly what the actual fuck is wrong with Arizona, anydamnedway? Sad to see that the question remains every bit as germane as ever it was.

Eyrie up!

I discontinued these announcements a goodish while back, primarily just to find out if the Eyrie adjunct would be able to stand on its own without further promotion from hereabouts. But tonight’s edition discusses a topic I feel important enough, enraging enough, alarming enough to resurrect the grand old Eyrie Up tradition just this once. The piece centers on a Mark Steyn column which is downright chilling as regards both the damning details and the larger implications. A small taste:

In June, in the Northern District of California, something rather unusual happened: the defendants actually beat the rap. They were two British subjects – Mike Lynch and Stephen Chamberlain, respectively the founder and finance honcho of a UK company called Autonomy. In 2018 the dirty stinkin’ rotten corrupt US Department of Justice had indicted the pair for “conspiracy” and “fraud” over the company’s sale to Hewlett Packard – and, after some protracted Julian Assange-like extradition jousting, the two were put on a ‘plane to America and placed under house arrest.

And then on June 6th a San Francisco jury found Lynch and Chamberlain not guilty of all charges. On July 28th, back in Britain, Mr Lynch gave his first interview about his ordeal:

Cleared UK tech tycoon feared he would die in US jail if convicted

Less than a month later, he is dead. To celebrate his acquittal, he took a party of friends and family (including his trial attorney Christopher Morvillo) on a Mediterranean cruise, and on Monday his luxury yacht sank off Sicily.

Must be pretty sad for his co-defendant, right?

Well, no. Because he’s dead too. On Saturday Stephen Robinson went for his morning run in Cambridgeshire and, six miles into it, was hit by a car. He was pronounced dead on Monday – the same day Mike Lynch died.

Do check out the whole sordid story, folks, it really is quite something.

To Civil War, or NOT to Civil War?

On Amerika v2.0’s self-evidently fraudulent “elections.”

Of course the propagandists gaslit everyone – election fraud was a conspiracy theory, it was the most secure election in history, and so on and so forth. That this was the precise opposite of what they’d been saying for the previous four years – that Russia had hacked Our Democracy – was neither here nor there. Later Time Magazine bragged that they had ‘fortified’ the election, which everyone understood to as an admission that they’d stolen it.

Election fraud in America utilizes a variety of tactics: ballot stuffing, ballot harvesting from senile seniors, registering illegal immigrants and other non-citizens to vote (which, as everyone knows, is why the regime is so hostile to voting ID laws), electronically forged ballots, and forged mail-in ballots. Definitive evidence of any one form of electoral fraud is extremely difficult to obtain, requiring painstaking forensic work. Even when such evidence is found, it will only pertain to one form of fraud, in one or a few locations. This enables regime respecters to claim that fraud is rare, and does not occur on a large enough scale to swing elections. Somehow they never say that any cheating at all is unacceptable. Funny that.

Not everyone fell for the fraud, of course. Outraged rallies began to spontaneously rise up across the country, ultimately converging on DC for the doomed J6 ‘insurrection’.

It didn’t matter.

The propagandists called Trump’s supporters terrorists. Those who entered the Capitol were arrested, imprisoned, subjected to various forms of psychological torture.

The regime stole the election in broad daylight, grinned with its hands in the cookie jar, looked the country right in the eyes with crumbs dribbling down its wobbling chins, grinned “What cookie?”, and dared anyone to call it on their blatant lies.

The regime got away with it.

It is obvious that they are doing the same thing again. It worked the first time, so why would they not? The Biden administration proved that you don’t need a charismatic candidate, or even a minimally competent one. All you need is a warm body that can be wheeled in front of the cameras every now and then. The compliance of the propaganda organs renders any embarrassing behaviour from the warm body wholly irrelevant. Enough of the population is so thoroughly brainwashed, so completely incapable of evaluating reality, so utterly prostrated before propaganda, that they will believe whatever they are told to believe and they will do so with the whole of their hollowed-out hearts. Not everyone, to be sure … but enough. Particularly as those most completely captured are the Single Woke Females, the professional-managerial class aparat-chicks that infest the institutions.

In the confusing months between November 2020 and J6, there was rampant speculation Trump would take some sort of bold action – a military coup d’etat, or even a Civil War. There’s no question that if he’d given the word his supporters would have turned out in their millions. Everyone sensed that it was go time, and they were ready to go. In the end, after some half-hearted lawsuits and a few rallies, the big man lost his nerve. Go home, he told his supporters. Go in peace. It’s over.

He may well have been right to do so. The Biden presidency was disastrous for America. The economy has fallen apart; inflation has wiped people out; the leaking border has shattered, letting in tens of millions, many criminals, many very possibly much worse than criminals; America has found itself embroiled in wars all over the world, which threaten to turn nuclear. The last four years have been an almost unprecedented national humiliation. Biden is, without a shadow of a doubt, the worst president America has ever had.

But was the Biden presidency worse than a Civil War?

Think about that.

And that really is the question, isn’t it? In effect, it amounts to the same quandary I’ve been struggling with here for a very long time now—or it FEELS like a very long time, at any rate. To wit: Is it better to fight back against metastasizing Überstadt tyranny to the last drop of Patriot blood, or to maintain the illusion of notional “peace” and tacitly accept defeat? In the end, I think, the hard nut of our dilemna comes down to this:

And there you have it. The rest is just applesauce.

Update! Having linked/excerpted him a cpl-three times now, the time has come to grant the planet-hopping Jeddak of Helium John Carter his rightful place of honor in Ye Aulde CF Blogrolle, methinks. Done, done, and done.

Updated update! And with the addition of the Warlord of Mars to our CF blogroll section, it occurs to me that a thorough scouring/refreshing/reshuffling of said section to update changed URLs, delete abandoned or extinct blogs, and put in new (if only to me) blogs/sites/portals—a tedious albeit essential routine-maintenance chore I dread like an ass-whuppin’, thus encouraging my lifelong habit of procrastination*—is way overdue. *le sigh*

* Did somebody say “lifelong” just now? I originally learned the word “procrastination” when my first-grade teacher wrote it on my very first report card, cautioning my parents to be on the lookout for my seemingly-innate inclination to it. I repeat: *le sigh*
