Fiscal rape

BRM finds out what Noo Yawk Shitty is really all about, the hard way.

NYC Ass rape.

YIKES! So basically, the usurious taxation nearly doubles the bill for a single night’s stay, then. Roll ’em, Pete:

What’s next – a charge for breathing city air? Another tax for using water to flush the toilet? One gets the feeling one is being financially raped to benefit the city. In that case, why go there at all?

A hell of a question, that, one each of must answer for himself. I loved living there back in the 90s, those were some of the best days of my life. Then again, that NYC was a very different place than the one we’re saddled with today.

Worst Republican President?

Hands down, no contest IMO. Pathetic George W Bush

Bush Blasts Trump (LOL)

Really, no elaboration needed. From the failed Iraq and Afghanistan occupations with no end and no plan, to the continued losses to marxist democrats domestically, few presidents in history have approached the failures of Bush. The 9/11 response was all Bush, and it was a failure.

2nd worse? Probably the other damn Bush…

I’m aware there is substantial competition.

The 2020 “(s)election”: most fraudulent in world history?

Actually, it was so damned fraudulent there isn’t even a word in the English language—corrupt, crooked, fake, phony, bogus, bent, rigged, &c—strong enough to adequately describe how ridiculously fraudulent it was.

Providence has a nice sense of irony. Had Trump been president from 2021 to 2024, he could not have accomplished a scintilla of what he has already managed just a year into his second term. The four years he spent as a victim of the Biden administration’s round-the-clock deployment of lawfare – the preposterous indictments, the naked efforts to bankrupt and incarcerate him – all were “teachable moments” he would have missed had he not been made the focus of unhinged Democratic ire. I suspect that, when the dust settles, it will be shown that Trump did, in fact, win the 2020 election. But it is a good thing for the country that he had to wait four years before he took office.

To those who are impatient with this renewed attention to the 2020 election, I advert to the ending of my column here from November 5, 2025. Quoting the commentator Shipwreckedcrew, who posts on X and Substack under that username, I agreed that “the 47th President of the United States, now that he has the tools, has an obligation to examine the 2020 election with the Department of Justice if he concludes that the 46th President failed to do so out of the 46th President’s self-interest to not have his victory called into question.”

Trump, I noted, has so concluded. We are rapidly approaching the denouement of this drama.

Readers may also recall the scene from Hemingway’s The Sun Also Rises in which one character asks another how he went bankrupt. “Two ways,” was the answer. “Gradually, then suddenly.” I suspect that something similar is happening here.

A few days ago, the news from Fulton County was everywhere, but there was a certain nervousness or hesitation in the air. Hadn’t we already been here, done that? But then the floodgates started to open.

Why have Georgia election officials filed a court motion to take back the ballots seized by the FBI? No one wants to be called a “conspiracy theorist” or “election denier.” No one wants to be sued for libel, as was Rudy Giuliani. He raised questions about the election results in Georgia. He named names. That cost him $140-something million. I wonder whether that judgment will be revisited now?

Commenting on the tsunami of news crashing out from Georgia, the great Cleta Mitchell, who advised President Trump when he contested the Georgia election results, noted that on the morning of election day, November 4, 2020, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said Trump led by 103K votes with only 94K ballots left. “Four days later,” Mitchell noted:

[T]here were 300K more ballots, including 148K absentee ballots from Fulton County. That’s 25,535 more ballots than voters, more than double Biden’s margin. Over 133K ballot images were deleted. Zero of 148 Fulton County tabulators had the required tapes. Nearly 7K fictitious ballots remain certified, and no one investigated.

Then there is the news about Georgia Governor Brian Kemp. Grand jury testimony that was just unsealed revealed that Kemp told the chief of Georgia Bureau of Investigation not to investigation allegations of fraud in the 2020 election, Saying he was a “team player,” the official dropped the case.

The mask is being ripped off as I write. A Gestalt shift in The Narrative is underway. Wikipedia says that Cleta Mitchell “aided Donald Trump in his efforts to overturn the election results and pressure election officials to ‘find’ sufficient votes for him to win.” How long will it be before the site is forced to note instead that she aided the president in his efforts to get to the truth in Fulton County? What happened in Georgia is just one falling domino in the giant reversal that is taking place. A lot of reputedly “impossible” things are in the process of being revealed.

Yep, the formerly ubiquitous “Trump’s baseless charges” bleat is looking more and more like the absurd lie it always was, as time marches ever on. Unfortunately, the truth outing at last will be the only positive result; you can be absolutely certain that not one thing else will change a single iota, that after many encore performances, The Enemy (both Left and “Right”) will at last outdo even their 2020 “(s)election” dumbshow for sheer balls-out chutzpah.

Who ever said crime doesn’t pay?

Couldn’t prove it by übercorrupt ProPol Faux Jaux Bribem, that’s for sure.

Biden’s ‘extravagant’ pension is largest of any president in history – and even more than what he earned as prez
Former President Joe Biden’s long career in politics allowed him to retire with the largest taxpayer-funded pension of any ex-prez in US history — $417,000, or more than his presidential salary, an expert says.

Biden, 83, was in line to rake in the massive amount from two pension funds in his first year as former president, according to an analysis by National Taxpayer Union Foundation Vice President Demian Brady.

“It’s pretty unusual, historically unusual, to have such a large pension amount,” Brady told The Post.

The hefty estimated annual sum is double what Biden’s former boss, Barack Obama, has received in retirement pay after leaving the White House and $17,000 more than Biden’s $400,000-per-year presidential salary.

It also reflects Biden’s “unique situation” as a former senator, vice president and president, a career path that has allowed him to take advantage of a “loophole” letting him tap into multiple taxpayer-backed retirement funds, Brady said.

Biden, who once described himself as “one of the poorest members” of Congress, is able to collect the lucrative payouts by double-dipping in benefits established under the Former Presidents Act of 1958 as well as the Civil Service Retirement System for ex-senators.

Fucking crook. What a scumbag, eh? Far from being a lucrative career choice, being a ProPol ought to be legally sanctioned as a Federal felony, punishable by firing squad. There really should be a bounty on the shit-slurping oxygen thieves; in a more perfect world, they’d be hunted for sport, the pelts redeemable at any local bank for your choice of a toaster oven, a handsome Atlanta Braves baseball cap, or These Magic Beans™.

Not Too Old Jaux though, right? I must say he was worth every penny, if only for the entertainment value: hilarious pratfalls, incoherent mumbling, and losing control of his bowels during a grip-n-grin with British royalty.

The Sen John Kennedy review.

Biden’s cognitive decline emboldened Putin to invade Ukraine, Sen. John Kennedy tells ‘Pod Force One’
Former President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline was so pronounced that it imperiled US foreign policy by providing an “invitation” to dictators like Russia’s Vladimir Putin, Sen. John Kennedy told “Pod Force One.”

“I remember when Putin was lined up on the Ukrainian border, thinking of going in, weighing his option(s), watching President Biden have a short press conference and say, ‘Well, if it’s a small incursion, it might be OK,’” Kennedy (R-La.) told The Post’s Miranda Devine on the latest episode, out Wednesday.

“I’m thinking, Holy Moses, that’s an invitation,” added the Louisiana Republican, reflecting on the January 2022 press conference, during which Biden went off the rails while responding to criticisms of his agenda raised by the White House press corps.

Was Biden ever even ON the rails, really?

“It depends on what [Russia] does,” Biden said at the time when asked about Putin’s plans. “It’s one thing if it’s a minor incursion and we end up having to fight about what to do and not do.”
Kennedy recalled thinking at the time that the president’s rhetoric “was dangerous.”

“I think he just started rambling,” the senator said, before rattling off other foreign policy flubs. “Afghanistan. [Biden] removed the sanctions on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. He removed the sanctions on Iran from selling their oil. Now, President Xi in China is working with Putin and Russia and the Ayatollah in Iran, they see all this.”

“Rambling,” you say? Nuh-uh, Jack, not the Joe Biden I know.

“They’re working together, and they saw the president, who was not clearly in grasp — didn’t have a clean grasp on all of his faculties. They saw the weakness, and they made their move. And that’s how Ukraine started,” he added.

Kennedy also claimed that he could see the Democrat’s “neurodegenerative disease … got worse” over time.

“I figured his staff was getting maybe four hours, five hours of work out in the day. He couldn’t help it,” The Republican claimed. “His staff cleverly hid it until they couldn’t anymore. He had the debate in front of God and the country and the American people — and the American people saw it, and they said, ‘Look, this man is just, he’s like my grandpa, you know, who I just took the car keys from.’”

Astute fella, that Sen Kennedy. Got a real flair for language, too.

Gee whiz, how did THAT happen?

If We Duh Peepul could ever get to the bottom of this sort of thing and then put an end to it, we’d be a long way toward fixing most of what’s wrong with this benighted country.

Rep. Ilhan Omar’s net worth skyrockets to as much as $30 million – months after denying she was a millionaire
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) reported a net worth of up to $30 million in her latest financial disclosure — a document filed just months after the congresswoman dismissed claims she was a millionaire as “ridiculous” and “categorically false.”

The disclosure, filed in May, shows the far-left “Squad” lawmaker and her husband, Tim Mynett, experienced a roughly 3,500% increase in net worth last year, compared to 2023.

The surge in the couple’s wealth was first reported by the Washington Free Beacon on Monday.

Now in fairness, there does seem to be a reasonable explanation for the sudden explosion in the wealth of this particular ProPol which doesn’t indicate the usual bribery, influence-peddling, or general corruption. To wit

The financial gains came from Mynett’s two businesses, a Santa Rosa, Calif.-based winery and a venture capital firm headquartered in Washington, DC.

Omar valued the winery’s assets at between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 in her latest disclosure. By comparison, the winery, eStCru LLC, was only worth between $15,000 and $50,000 in Omar’s previous financial disclosure.

More dramatic was the explosion in growth experienced by Mynett’s venture capital firm, Rose Lake Capital LLC.

Rose Lake Capital’s assets were valued at between $5,000,000 and $25,000,000 by the end of 2024. The company had less than $1,000 in assets the previous year.

Okay, I’ll allow it. Now do all the other Congresscritters who wind up loaded to the bejeezus bells after only a cpl-three terms, please.

Perhaps Omar/Nur didn’t straightaway get to grifting and grafting with all hands and feet the moment she took office, but she still shouldn’t be allowed in the US Congress except as a tourist just the same, simply by virtue of having publicly declared that she considered herself a representative NOT of the citizens of her state or district but of her native country of Somalia and intended to conduct herself accordingly, thereby rendering the oath of office she took “freely, without…purpose of evasion”—in which she solemnly swore that 1) she would to the best of her ability “preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States” and 2) that she would “bear true faith and allegiance to the same”—nothing but an obscene joke.

Also in fairness, she’d hardly be the first ProPol to take said oath with fingers and toes crossed, more’s the pity.

Are the Russians our greatest enemy? No.

2018 – Recall Herr Mueller and his Gestapo like band of litigators with the resulting indictment of Russians located in Russia, meaning none would ever stand trial, so no need to ever prove the case.

Recall that it was President Trump that questioned this, recall that he was branded a traitor by many that claim to be on the “right”*.

Trump was labeled a traitor for refusing to accept the Russian hack narrative without evidence. Even his own DNI at the time, Dan Coats, as well as many Republicans, publicly pushed back against him. As it turns out, Trump was absolutely correct, and the newly released emails from Gabbard now confirm that his skepticism was justified.

Are the Russians our enemy? Yes.
Are the Russians our greatest enemy? No. The greatest enemy are the ones inside. Win that war and we win everywhere else on the planet.

Crooked cop brought down HARD

Bondi has been a bit of a let-down so far, at least to me. Happily though, along with Our Tulsi, Kash Patel is really delivering the goods. To date I have yet to be disappointed by the way both of them interpret their job responsibilities. Nor can I find fault with their work ethic; their embrace of the underlying principles which define the uniquely American concept of public service; their obvious competence; their likewise obvious disinclination to pull their rhetorical punches; their eagerness to attack, attack, and attack again, keeping the skeer on his/our/America’s adversaries until the enemy’s fighting spirit, as well as his will to resist, have been well and truly crushed.

Kash Patel slams ‘corrupt’ sanctuary sheriff indicted for cannabis company extortion
Tompkins faces up to 20 years in prison on each count after allegedly exploiting dispensary partnership for personal gain

Boston’s sanctuary sheriff was arrested Friday on federal charges after allegedly leveraging his elected position to extort $50,000 from a cannabis executive who was seeking state approval to open a dispensary—a scheme FBI Director Kash Patel called a betrayal of public trust.

Suffolk County Sheriff Steven Tompkins, 67, who oversees more than 1,000 employees in the Boston-area, was handcuffed Friday morning in the Southern District of Florida after a federal grand jury indicted him on two counts of extortion under color of official right, according to a statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts.

“When someone entrusted with enforcing the law is accused of breaking it for personal gain, it undermines the public’s trust in every honest officer who wears the badge,” Patel told Fox News Digital. “The FBI will pursue corruption at every level, because no one is above the law. The people of Suffolk County, and the country, deserve leaders who serve them, not themselves.”

Tompkins was appointed sheriff of the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department (SCSD) in 2013, elected in a 2014 special election, and later re-elected to serve successive six-year terms.

He made headlines in 2019 after booting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents out of the county jail, signing an eviction notice that required hundreds of illegal immigrant detainees to be moved out within 60 days, according to a report from the Boston Herald.

This grifting, grafting shitlick looks about like you’d probably expect he would. Exhibit A for the prosecution:

Gee whiz, color me shocked…NOT. Color him, y’know, colored. Or blaque, on the dark(ie) side, melanin-enhanced, whatevs. Below the fold, I’ll tuck some highly offensive song lyrics from USDA certified odd duck Johnny Rebel, from a CD resto of an early/mid-60s single. The CD, titled For Segregationists Only, was given me by one of my closest NYC friends—an outside the lines catch so far underground nobody would suspect a hipster Manhattanite to know about it, much less own a copy himself.

If blue-collar racist slurs make your skin crawl, your gorge rise, and your blood boil, you’ll definitely want to shine this one on and act as if it doesn’t exist—which, in practical terms, for you it doesn’t. Trust me, we’ll all be better off for it. For less sensitive scoundrels, scalawags, and scapegraces who are made of sterner stuff, y’all reprobates will probably find this as rib-tickling as I do.

From Kenny – The Real Reason for the Epstein Blowup

In a Daily comment Kenny uncovers the reason for the epstein blowup – trying to divert attention from the fantastic economic news. The Comment:

Last Friday it was reported that the Fed Gov ran a surplus for the month of June. I missed it then and saw it yesterday. I went to look at the report and the details.

But the lede was buried. Here’s some extraordinary facts.

For the past 4 months (Mar, Apr, May, June 2025), outlays aka Fed Spending is DOWN year over year compared to the same 4 months in 2024. When can you recall that happening? Given an inflation rate of 2.3% the Real Spending is down even more.

Revenues are UP over that same period.

So, the Deficit is already trending well downward. The last 2 months compared to last year it’s down 31%. From 418B to 290B. That’s not seasonally adjusted. At a 30% rate the deficit from last year of 1.9T could be 1.3T over the 12 months ending June 2026.

It’s still a lot, but that’s a vast improvement and he’s really just getting started. The Big Beautiful Law just kicked in, the Courts have been rebuked with their injunctions and the tariffs only hit a few months ago.

Don’t believe the FUD, it’s a sequel.
That’s why they’re trying to pivot to Epstein.

Don’t let them get away with it again. It’s why they released the scamVirus in the Trump first term.

Update_1:
Now he is free to focus on the things he needs to do to make America great again- the economy, jobs, GDP, bringing manufacturing back to the USA, tariffs, pushing Fed Chief Jerome Powell to resign, so we can get lower interest rates; getting rid of income taxes; ending the threat of WW3; sealing the border; expanding the mass deportation; getting rid of DEI in government, military, corporations and colleges; removing transgender brainwashing from our schools; getting boys out of girls sports events; and making elections honest again by getting Voter ID passed, preventing illegal aliens from voting, and removing illegal aliens from the census count.

Update_2:
According to a report by JustTheNews, Barack Obama, John Brennan, James Clapper, James Comey, and other high-level Obama-era operatives have been named in the investigation, which shows a coordinated criminal conspiracy to target political enemies, shield Democrat allies, and manipulate multiple presidential elections — from 2016 through 2024. But it gets better: The probe may now shift jurisdiction to Florida — thanks to none other than Special Counsel Jack Smith’s own raid on Mar-a-Lago.

Can you smell the FEAR in DC?

Update_3:

Per Kenny’s suggestion, my list of Trump Term 1 accomplishments. It’s not everything, just some of those that I thought important enough to be reminded of whenever some nutcase tried to pretend that Trump was unable to accomplish anything…

1) stopped ISIS cold
2) EO stopping the drug companies from charging medicare more than what they charged foreign countries
3) EO forcing hospitals to disclose their prices
4) Move the US embassy in Israel to Jerusalem
5) ENERGY INDEPENDENCE for the first time in my lifetime of 70 years, and record low energy prices
6) Started no new wars
6A) Abraham Accords, bringing peace to the middle east instead of war
7) Elimination of regulations, required to eliminate 8 to add a new one
8) Cut Taxes across the board
9) Increased the individual tax credit eliminating the need to file more complicated returns
10) Started the space force, sorely needed today
11) Replaced NAFTA with an agreement better for American workers
12) Put tariffs on china, starting the process of moving American production out of the enemy’s land
13) Brought back massive amounts of money saved in foreign countries
14) Withdrew from the farce know as the Paris Climate Accords
15) Withdrew from the Iran deal
16) Increased the $$$ of the average family by over 5K
17) Started the process of fixing the VA
18) Increased the spending by other NATO countries
19) Killed the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP)
20) Created several million jobs, actual creation not bafflegab bullshit
21) Economic growth rates were going up, somewhere around 4% before the marxist killed the economy with the scam chinaVirus
22) Lowest rate of unemployment ever, across the board for blacks, hispanics, asians, veterans, etc.
23) Opened ANWAR and had the Keystone pipeline being constructed

There is much more of course.

That’s just a short list. Trump did this by himself, with little to no help from the republican party opposition from the republican party and the democrats. He did this while the deep state through the FBI, intelligence agencies, congress, and the DOJ were conducting illegal surveillance and investigations. But Trump didn’t falter, didn’t stop. He just kept on working.

No one else was capable of doing this, no one else has ever done this, no one else will.

The incredible disappearing “client list”

Tonight’s Eyrie submission casts a jaundiced eye upon the Trump admin’s self-beclownment via unforced error concerning the too-conveniently phantasmagorical, now you see it-now you don’t Epstein client list. Coinky-dinkally enough, our bigly esteemed blog-colleague Ken Layne posts a bit of relevant meme-ology over at his crib. To wit:

Mo’ bettah.

The not-subtle, courteous-to-a-fault complaint tacitly made in that second meme above—using a sotto voce which reeks of hopelessness and despair as the realization sinks in at last: there will never be a reckoning for any of the well-connected frequent fliers on the Lolita Express—is sure to leave a powerfully bitter taste in the mouths of even the most placid, steadfastly unflappable Real Americans.

Those folks are a decent, justly proud albeit unassuming breed—endowed as individuals from birth, seemingly, with inexhaustible reserves of equanimity—whose interest in, patience for, and/or willingness to put up with ceaseless torrents of breathlessly gushing Hot Breaking News!!© reportage (despite the aforementioned equanimity) are in the main so grudgingly extended, greedily infinitesimal, and short-lived as to be undetectable using any method, process, or device known to modern science.

Or, to lay a-holt of a hoary, innocuous blogospherical catchphrase we’ve all heard a blue million times already and stand it on its head, so to speak:

This time, it AIN’T funny ‘cause it’s true.

Update! Looks like it is ON.

BONDI OR BONGINO: Bongino Won’t Remain At FBI If Bondi Keeps Job, Source Says
Dan Bongino and Pam Bondi have sparred over the handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files.

Dan Bongino, the Deputy Director of the FBI, is threatening to leave the bureau if Attorney General Pam Bondi remains on the job, a source close to Bongino tells The Daily Wire.

Bongino is reportedly furious with Attorney General Pam Bondi over her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files, which has led many to believe he could walk away from the job that he took in February. The source close to Bongino said that he’s effectively issued an ultimatum, saying he won’t work alongside Bondi.

Bongino left a lucrative career in broadcasting to take the job in the Trump administration. He was not present at the FBI on Friday, after a reported spat with the attorney general earlier this week over the Epstein situation.

The rift between Bongino and Bondi intensified on Wednesday, days after the Department of Justice announced there was no evidence to prove that child rapist Jeffrey Epstein had a client list, had blackmailed powerful people, or had been murdered. Bondi had promised to reveal major details in the case five months ago, when there were no massive revelations to bring forward.

The deputy FBI director, who raised questions about Epstein’s death before he was in the Trump administration, said in May that his review of the file and hours of video recording from Epstein’s jail proved that the child abuser committed suicide. FBI Director Kash Patel also said that the evidence the bureau has reviewed shows that Epstein was not murdered.

A source close to the Justice Department told The Daily Wire that Patel also wants Bondi gone, and that he would consider departing alongside Bongino. The source also said that Patel wants Bondi to unseal more documents.

I have to say, this whole shit-circus has left me mighty damned disappointed in Ms Bondi. Which, I hate that, actually; I had terrifically high hopes for that gal back when Trump first picked her for AG. Now, though? Not so much, sad to say.

Of course, we don’t know the whole story here, possibly never will. That said, though, I’m thinking Trump’s people are going to find it extremely tough to reconcile the fact that Bondi explicitly stated back in February that she had the client list sitting on her desk among a bunch of other heretofore unreleased material and that she’d be releasing the whole kit and kaboodle the following Monday, IIRC, with the current admin claims that there IS no client list; that there never WAS any client list; that all the hinky aspects of Epstein’s purported “suicide” never actually happened, etc.

So what goes on here, anyway? As pretty much everybody knows by now,  or should know at any rate, the clumsy “Epstein committed suicide” ploy didn’t pass the smell test; right from the beginning, there was evidence aplenty indicating something entirely Else, great interlocking. mutually-supporting heaps of it. Now, though, the Trump team tries to tell us that there’s “no evidence?”

Sorta calls to mind Praetorian Media’s continually repeated refrain, from mid-November 2020 on, sniffily dismissing “Trump’s baseless claims” of election jiggery-pokery, a rousing Halleluja Chorus of “no evidence” for fraud, tampering, ballot-box stuffing, phonus-balonus absentee/early ballots, &c—the list goes on from there, and it is by no means a short one.

Sorry, Mr President sir, but anybody who’s even half-heartedly paid attention to the Everest of clear, documentary evidence in support of contentions of massive, systemic fraud rife before, during, and after the 2020 Presidential “election” knows better.

This just might be the most unappetizing tidbit from the whole rancid, offputting shit-sandwich.

“In February, I did an interview on Fox, and it’s been getting a lot of attention because … I was asked a question about the ‘client list’ and my response was, ‘It’s sitting on my desk to be reviewed, meaning the file, along with the JFK, MLK files as well,” Bondi said during a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday. “That’s what I meant by that.”

During that same Cabinet meeting, President Donald Trump blasted a reporter for asking Bondi about the Epstein case.

“That is unbelievable. … I mean I can’t believe you’re asking a question on Epstein at a time like this when we’re having some of the greatest success and also tragedy with what happened in Texas,” Trump said. “It just seems like a desecration.”

“Desecration,” my withered, baggy ass. You say you want to drain the Swamp? Well, I can’t think of a better way to demonstrate just how serious you really are about it than by shining a bright light upon the sloppily-concealed facts surrounding the murder, by Swamp rats, of one of their fellow Swamp-dwellers who had was too much on them for their own comfort.

Deny it all you want to; play along with the Deep State éminences grise to your heart’s content. It doesn’t amount to a hill of beans at this point—they still won’t trust you, they’ll never trust you. Before long, they’ll decide it’s necessary to remove the threat you represent to them in their own minds. This, they will assuredly do, or hire it done, rather, only next time it won’t be some cognitively-impaired, maladjusted teenage whackjob on whom the Secret Service and/or FBI “security” personnel will helpfully turn their backs and avert their gaze from; preposition ladders, rifles, and/or other essential equipment; unlock doors, switch off interior lighting, and close blinds/curtains. After all those preps are done, “security” will spend whatever time remains before the scheduled first pull of the trigger on shrugging off credible reports of suspicious persons, movements, and/or behavior given by alarmed locals who witnessed what was going down at firsthand, in real time.

No, no more of that amateur-hour clowning around. Next time, the contract will be offered to none but seasoned professionals, who will preferably have extensive military sniper training and field expertise. Afterwards, the shooter will police up the general AO—cigarette butts, candy/gum wrappers, boot-prints, empty water bottles, spent brass (assuming he didn’t just rig one of those fancy-schmancy brass-catcher thingamabobbers over his weapon’s ejection port before heading out for the field, thereby making his life a heck of a lot easier). This is NOT the sort of task on which a true professional would ever dream of doing less than a one hundred and ten percent perfect job; after all, it’s his own ass he’ll be saving (or endangering) by it. As such, he will leave no traces of his physical presence behind for investigators to find layer, nor will there be any slightest hint of his ever having been in the vicinity at all.

Unless something goes horribly awry, the shooter’s name will never be known, his true identity a fanatically guarded secret shared only betwixt the three to six FederalGovCo bureaucreeps behind the whole op, ie the small cabal of secret plotters responsible for choosing, recruiting, hiring, and briefing the members of the hit team (a shooter, a spotter, a cpl of gear-humpers who will later double as back-watchers and perimeter guards—probably four (4) support personnel all told, five at most, the fewer the better. As an important codicil from the Hells Angels’ charter says: three can keep a secret only if two are dead).

The treasonous original conspirators will pay their SpecWar field operatives with cold, hard cash money, half in advance, half on completion of their mission: wrinkly, crinkly, tattered, battered, well-traveled US greenbux with nonsequential serial numbers in various denominations ranging from one-hundred dollar notes, then fifties, all the way down to a smattering of lowly double-sawbucks, said currency having been passed along, around, through, and among hands beyond counting.

Once the operators have been paid off in full, all involved parties will disappear like a thin fog wafting off the surface of a lake, this spectral condensation quickly cooking off into nothingness by the heat of the rising summer sun—a damp, chilly mist that vanishes faster than a cockroach caught square in the middle of the kitchen floor when you turn on the light. Same-same with the assassination-provoking, power-obsessed cock-a-roaches on two legs who, if they’re anything like as smart as their more-admirable Neopteran cousins, will likewise vanish, never to be seen or heard tell of again by we lower-caste denizens of the overt world.

Believe it, Mr President: you’ll never know what hit you.

President Blasts Federalist Society

Just more evidence that Trump learned a great deal in his first term. I learned that the Federalist Society was a group of power hungry marxists by their judge recommendations. I did not know, until now, if Trump learned that lesson.

Perhaps what black leftists in America interpret as “racism” is actually cultural burnout

Yes, mostly that’s it. As my few* remaining black friends have also noticed, it’s not racism, it’s the culture. Most people are tired of the culture of crime, the theft in the stores, the drug use, the children born without fathers in the home, the rate of incarceration due to criminal activity, murder, shootings. It’s the welfare city syndrome – every democrat run city has a culture problem and an education problem to go with the destruction of the city in general.

Tune it out. That’s what most of us do. More murder in inner city Baltimore/Detroit/Chicago/New Orleans/DC/etc? No young person in Baltimore city schools can read or do basic math when they “graduate” high school? Local store gets robbed, again?
I don’t care. The democrats that run the city sure don’t give a damn. No one else does either.

DOGE

You just were not aware that to get rich you needed to do nothing more than send a bill to the treasury.

Need a couple million, just send the bill.

Now, if you and I did that we would be in jail faster than the check could clear the bank. So who do you think was getting all this money? Not millions, rather billions, perhaps trillions…

DOGE just keeps finding the crooked methods. Time for Trump DOJ to start charging the criminals.

Silly question asked, answered

Ace asks in his headline:

Is It Time to Outlaw NGOs?
Ace

A: Yes. Yes, it most certainly is. Quoting from a Glenn Reynolds piece in the NYP:

We thought of them as do-good organizations set up by people who really care — about the environment, or poor people, or children, or freedom.

We imagined they raise money, help the downtrodden, send out press releases and engage in other private activities to promote the causes they favor.

They’re not government entities, we thought — the very name says that — but a species of private charity whose good intentions deserve the benefit of any doubt.

Perhaps some NGOs do operate in that way.

But as we’ve learned recently, partly as the result of Department of Government Efficiency digging, many “non-governmental” entities are really just fronts for government activities that Americans would never stand for if Washington attempted them directly.

As with just about everything else in or involved with Mordor on the Potomac, as DOGE has so amply demonstrated, it’s all deception, trickery, and deflection, nothing more. NGOs that are in every meaningful sense GOs? The “non” in place strictly to provide a ruse which will hopefully keep the stupes, dupes, and slack-jawed yokels looking in the desired direction? Ho hum, quelle shocked over here.

What needs to happen, but won’t, is an in toto junking  of FederalGovCo: dismantle ALL government entities; fire every bureau-rat; dump every existing Department; raze the whole sorry, sordid, edifice right down to bare earth, and start over under Constitutionally-correct guidelines. There is no saving this soppy mess, no “restoring” or “reforming” the US governmental Leviathan. It must be killed, buried, the earth over its grave salted, and replaced entirely—by something a great deal less bloated, self-directing, overbearing, and generally monstrous.

See what I mean when I say “ain’t gonna happen”? I’ll let you calculate the odds for yourself, Dear Reader, but I will certainly not be laying any money down to bet myself. I’ll save it for the one-armed bandits in Vegas, thanks; I’ve seen people actually win on those things. In fact, my late wife covered our trip expenses entire that way—more than just once, in fact.

NOTE: In order to comment, you must be registered and approved as a CF user. Since so many user-registrations are attempted by spam-bots for their own nefarious purposes, YOUR REGISTRATION MAY BE ERRONEOUSLY DENIED.

If you are in fact a legit hooman bean desirous of registering yourself a CF user name so as to be able to comment only to find yourself caught up as collateral damage in one of my irregularly (un)scheduled sweeps for hinky registration attempts, please shoot me a kite at the email addy over in the right sidebar and let me know so’s I can get ya fixed up manually.

ALSO NOTE: You MUST use a valid, legit email address in order to successfully register, the new anti-spam software I installed last night requires it. My thanks to Barry for all his help sorting this mess out last night.

Comments appear entirely at the whim of the guy who pays the bills for this site and may be deleted, ridiculed, maliciously edited for purposes of mockery, or otherwise pissed over as he in his capricious fancy sees fit. The CF comments section is pretty free-form and rough and tumble; tolerance level for rowdiness and misbehavior is fairly high here, but is NOT without limit.

Management is under no obligation whatever to allow the comments section to be taken over and ruined by trolls, Leftists, and/or other oxygen thieves, and will take any measures deemed necessary to prevent such. Conduct yourself with the merest modicum of decorum, courtesy, and respect and you'll be fine. Pick pointless squabbles with other commenters, fling provocative personal insults, issue threats, or annoy the host (me) and...you won't.

Should you find yourself sanctioned after running afoul of the CF comments policy as stated and feel you have been wronged, please download and complete the Butthurt Report form below in quadruplicate; retain one copy for your personal records and send the others to the email address posted in the right sidebar.

Please refrain from whining, sniveling, and/or bursting into tears and waving your chubby fists around in frustrated rage, lest you suffer an aneurysm or stroke unnecessarily. Your completed form will be reviewed and your complaint addressed whenever management feels like getting around to it. Thank you.
