The war is NOW

Not some remote, gauzy, far-off possibility, but current reality.

Since the pandemic, we’ve been living in the world of the communists. That was their big coming out party. Now, any reference, any intimation of reverting back to ideals like the rule of law, or legitimate elections are considered blasphemous and dangerous. Why, they have climate change as a societal bludgeon to keep the normal people from thinking about things like their vacations, unnecessary trips, using gas to cook food, gasoline to power cars, all of that would be too carbonaceous to register anything, but scorn. A child is the property and responsibility of the parent? Are you nuts? They belong to the state and the state will raise them to comply with the new order. Don’t you see? “It Takes a Village” was not just a book by Hillary Clinton, it was a manifesto of the communist perception of children; what can and should be done with children any time they’re under the influence of the state. It’s the Khmer Rouge plan of having children assassinate their parents at the behest of the state. They’ve already instituted the brainwashing that makes it possible.

They own it all, the law, the medicine, the drugs, the schools, the universities, the corporations, the politics and you’re on the wrong side, the losing side. You have lost control of your society and thus, your future.

The 2020 election is when they meant to prove to you that your one and only recourse to their coup, an election, could be stolen right out from under your nose and all of their minions in the states would back them up. It was a display of sheer power, to prove that you were outnumbered, outclassed and out maneuvered. It was to make you finally sit down and shut up about constitutions and rights and all of that republic nonsense.

The cases against Trump are punishment. You will be forced to take it, to absorb it, to render to them all power, no matter how ridiculous the charge or unfair the venue. Yes, everyone, even a lot of liberals know it’s a sham, a fiasco. They know that they’re as guilty as hell of everything Trump is charged with, keeping classified documents, challenging elections, threatening Secretaries of State to “find” votes so they can win. They put on a whole show of everything Trump is charged with in 2000. What do you think the microscopic inspection of “hanging chads” was all about if not a desperate search for those votes? But they laugh, because they’ve taken over the Justice Department and everything a conservative does is a crime; every crime a liberal commits is simply misunderstood, or generally common practice, not really a crime, of course.

Even when Trump was president, they owned the Justice Department and turned it on him before the confetti from the inauguration hit the ground. They’d been spying on him in a way that made Watergate look like a Three Stooges skit. They forced Nixon out over that silly break-in, but cackle about their phone taps and spies in the administration, because of the magnitude of their crimes. They even got caught and no one had to resign, not even the janitor for heaven’s sake, or even take a few weeks off without pay. They just rolled on, cackling from Martha’s Vineyard.

It doesn’t matter what you think of Trump, it matters what you think of this nation what is was, what it can be. When they see him, they see you. If you don’t recognize the proxy he is, you don’t understand the war you’re in.

Annnnd bingo. Trump himself said it years ago, and he was right:

TrumpInTheWay

Read every word of TL’s superb piece; read it, and get good and fucking pissed off about the hard, ugly truth he’s laying down. Only through that righteous, soul-scalding rage will come the resolve required to stop them from getting away with it—to make them pay at long, long last. Nothing less will suffice.

SO, how’s that “get woke go broke” thing workin’ out for ya?

For faltering retailer TarZhay, not too good. Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of assholes, if you ask me.

Target Sales Are Punished by Pride Month Backlash
Retailer lowers profit goal for full year; executives say they will modify Pride Month promotion

Target said shopper backlash over its Pride Month collection, as well as cautious consumers, pushed sales sharply lower in the most recent quarter.

The retailer said it expected sales to decline again in the current quarter and lowered its profit goal for the full year. Executives said they would still mark Pride Month next year but with a more focused assortment of merchandise.

“As we navigate an ever-changing operating and social environment, we are applying what we learned,” Brian Cornell, Target’s longtime chief executive, said on a call with reporters.

Yeah, from the looks of the radically-declining graph—DURING PRIDE MONTH!!!—included with the article, I’d say it’s best that you do. Note that the above link isn’t to the WSJ article, but to the safely paywall-evading archive.is snapshot thereof. You’re welcome.

Via Insty, who correctly calls it “Another example of the diversity problem within nearly all of our major institutions.” What can one say but, heh. Indeed.

Quote of the year century millennium

Via commenter Bruce over at Diplomad’s fine establishment.

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.

Indeed so. That there’s Marcus Tullius Cicero speaking to us from the annals of history (or perhaps not), a guy who surely knew a thing or two about Enemies, Domestic and the wanton damage and destruction they can wreak upon any Republic, then or now. Cicero also well knew how such enemies are most properly and effectively dealt with.

Though he was an accomplished orator and successful lawyer, Cicero believed his political career was his most important achievement. It was during his consulship that the Catiline conspiracy attempted to overthrow the government through an attack on the city by outside forces, and Cicero suppressed the revolt by summarily and controversially executing five conspirators without trial.

Bold mine, and entirely dispositive. Alas for his own suffering, tottering Republic though, Cicero went on to provide a pluperfect example of that damage I mentioned a minute ago:

During the chaotic middle period of the first century BC, marked by civil wars and the dictatorship of Julius Caesar, Cicero championed a return to the traditional republican government. Following Caesar’s death, Cicero became an enemy of Mark Antony in the ensuing power struggle, attacking him in a series of speeches. He was proscribed as an enemy of the state by the Second Triumvirate and consequently executed by soldiers operating on their behalf in 43 BC, having been intercepted during an attempted flight from the Italian peninsula. His severed hands and head were then, as a final revenge of Mark Antony, displayed on the Rostra.

Again: bold mine, and entirely etc. New category for things like this: Enemies, Domestic. Considered just renaming the “Our Enemies” cat, but then thought, nah. “Enemies, Domestic” is much more specific, seems to me; certainly, in our parlous age it’s all too apt.

Travesty

Justice? Not in Amerika v2.0, bub. No chance.

The Jury’s Verdict in Andy Ngo’s Case Against Antifa Sends Shockwaves
At the conclusion of journalist Andy Ngo’s multi-day civil trial against Rose City Antifa, whose far-left militant members brutally beat the investigative reporter when he went undercover to expose Antifa’s extremist activities on the riot-torn streets of Portland, a 12-person jury reached a verdict in the case Tuesday evening, reportedly finding both of the defendants not liable for all claims.

The Post Millennial’s senior editor—represented by attorney Harmeet Dhillon’s nonprofit Center for American Liberty—sought almost $1 million in damages in a lawsuit accusing the co-defendants of assault, battery, theft, and intentional infliction of emotional distress over a series of violent Antifa attacks beginning in 2019, when Ngo was hospitalized for a brain hemorrhage.

Bad enough, certainly. But hold onto your hats, it gets even worse from there.

In closing statements, defense counsel Michelle Burrows told the jurors that not only does she self-identify as an “anti-fascist,” she strongly declared, “I am Antifa,” and insisted upon making herself an “I am Antifa” t-shirt, which the activist attorney said she would wear after the trial. In spite of Antifa’s well-documented history of violence, Burrows told the jury that Antifa’s unfavorable reputation is untrue and depicted the organized militants as activists fighting for social justice and civil rights. “Resistance in this country has never been peaceful,” Burrows argued in defense of Antifa, admitting that Ngo’s tormenters were, in fact, “terrorists.”

Rather than taking the time to provide evidence as to why the defendants should be free of liability, Burrow instead defended anti-fascism and attacked Ngo’s credibility as a journalist. Burrows also told jurrors that she “will remember each one of their faces.”

Before jury deliberation commenced, Judge Chanpone Sinlapasai announced that the jurors have raised safety concerns about being “doxxed” and claimed that people have been trying to identify them, according to a Post Millennial report by Seattle-based correspondent Katie Daviscourt. Prior to the trial’s conclusion, Sinlapasai issued court orders banning the public and non-credentialed press from the courtroom for the duration of Ngo’s jury trial as it was underway in Multnomah County Circuit Court. The judge’s decision was made due to multiple in-court disruptions since the trial began on July 31 as well as security issues.

On the final day of the trial, both Ngo and his colleague Daviscourt, who has been providing day-by-day coverage, were harassed by Antifa’s associates. Ngo was heading into court while Daviscourt was threatened inside the courthouse as the jury sat down to deliberate. “Get in the elevator with us,” one of the co-defendants, joined by two others, told Daviscourt in a threatening tone, calling her a multitude of names. “Why won’t you get in the elevator with us? We want you in here.”

Why, it’s almost as if, buoyed by the sure and certain knowledge that pAntiFa is the semi-official street-enforcement arm of the D卐M☭CRAT Party Criminal Organization just as surely as the Ku Klux Klan used to be, the “defendants” in this sham of a “trial” believed themselves to be immune from all consequences for their violent acts.

About which assumption they turned out to be one hundred percent correct.

Antifa rioters destroyed a Post Millennial reporter’s car at the courthouse where she was covering the verdict to a case involving one of the outlet’s reporters who was suing the domestic terror group.

Katie Daviscourt, the reporter who was covering the Ngo (case), returned to her car after attending the court session to find it vandalized by the far-left thugs.

“After I left the courthouse where I was reporting on @MrAndyNgo’s trial against Antifa, I found that my car was broken into by my hotel. The windows were busted out, items were stolen, and personal identification documents were taken—I’m obviously upset” Daviscourt tweeted.

The Antifa treatment was not new to Daviscourt, who was attacked on camera by Antifa.

Ahh, but let’s not anyone be thinking that the court system, the judges, the lawyers, and the jury are the only ones at fault here. Of course and as usual, we must include the cops in our lengthy list of culprits.

Before you dismiss this as “Hey, you signed up for this, Portland, you voted in these knuckleheads who gave Antifa a wide berth,” let’s consider what this case means.

I sat in a Multnomah County courtroom in the trial of another journalist who was beaten by Antifa members and who pulled a pistol to fend off a second attack in 2016. Not a shot was fired, the second attack was thwarted, and instead of prosecuting his attackers, woke politicians went after Mike Strickland for showing his gun. He went to jail. His attackers were never pursued. In fact, they were never identified in court or by any of the undercover cops that had infiltrated the protest crowd that day.

The cops didn’t bother to help Strickland, either. While in the courtroom at his trial, I was threatened by Antifa allies. I also later received death threats that the Portland Police dismissed as no big deal.

I only wish I could say I’m surprised. Can’t say I necessarily agree with Taft’s assertion re Portland; surely any sane and decent soul has long since fled the anarchic rubble-pile for more agreeable, civilized climes by now, so all who remain are in fact just reaping what they’ve sown. Let them wallow in it then, for all me.

As for pAntiFa, CF Lifers will already know my own prescription for fixing that little red wagon: there should never again be any gathering of these oxygen thieves, of any sort whatever, that doesn’t end with at least one of their number lying in the street swiftly bleeding out—felled by a righteous dose of .308 caliber justice, administered from a great distance. After all this, it ought to be clear enough that nothing short of that is going to get the job done.

Update! Related? Oh, you just better believe it is.

On the eve of a potential fourth indictment of former President Trump, I cannot help but observe how certain actions and policies, all under the illusion of safeguarding our “democracy,” are sowing the seeds of division and disillusionment. In this theater of political maneuvering, self-anointed “guardians of democracy” have brazenly cast aside time-honored norms and foundational principles as they callously disregard the legitimate grievances voiced by a substantial segment of the American populace.

Thus ordinary Americans find themselves subjected to attacks and marginalization, and carry the risk of being labeled extremists. Biden’s declaration further solidified this trend, branding these individuals as forces determined to “destroy democracy” and saying they represent an “extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.”

I continue to grow extremely concerned knowing the path toward radicalization is forged by unaddressed grievances, suppressed dissent, hopelessness, and the unchecked abuse of power.

What damned well oughta concern you a hell of a lot more is if, in the current case, it isn’t.

Only those in power can pull us back from the brink.

In a pig’s eye. As history hath shewn, when those in power are the authors of our woes, there isn’t the slightest chance of their ever fixing the damage they wantonly, knowingly created. That responsibility then falls on the shoulders of We The People, as is only right, proper, and just.

Bathhouse Barry rides again!

The truth will not exactly “out.” In this instance it would be more accurate and precise, according to the strictures of PC vernacular, to say it has been outed.

There is a fascinating passage in Rising Star, David Garrow’s comprehensive biography of Barack Obama’s early years, in which the historian examines Obama’s account in Dreams from My Father of his breakup with his longtime Chicago girlfriend, Sheila Miyoshi Jager. In Dreams, Obama describes a passionate disagreement following a play by African American playwright August Wilson, in which the young protagonist defends his incipient embrace of Black racial consciousness against his girlfriend’s white-identified liberal universalism. As readers, we know that the stakes of this decision would become more than simply personal: The Black American man that Obama wills into being in this scene would go on to marry a Black woman from the South Side of Chicago named Michelle Robinson and, after a meteoric rise, win election as the first Black president of the United States.

Yet what Garrow documented, after tracking down and interviewing Sheila Miyoshi Jager, was an explosive fight over a very different subject. In Jager’s telling, the quarrel that ended the couple’s relationship was not about Obama’s self-identification as a Black man. And the impetus was not a play about the American Black experience, but an exhibit at Chicago’s Spertus Institute about the 1961 trial of Adolf Eichmann.

At the time that Obama and Sheila visited the Spertus Institute, Chicago politics was being roiled by a Black mayoral aide named Steve Cokely who, in a series of lectures organized by Louis Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam, accused Jewish doctors in Chicago of infecting Black babies with AIDS as part of a genocidal plot against African Americans. The episode highlighted a deep rift within the city’s power echelons, with some prominent Black officials supporting Cokely and others calling for his firing.

In Jager’s recollection, what set off the quarrel that precipitated the end of the couple’s relationship was Obama’s stubborn refusal, after seeing the exhibit, and in the swirl of this Cokely affair, to condemn Black racism. While acknowledging that Obama’s embrace of a Black identity had created some degree of distance between the couple, she insisted that what upset her that day was Obama’s inability to condemn Cokely’s comments. It was not Obama’s Blackness that bothered her, but that he would not condemn antisemitism.

Perhaps the most revealing thing about Jager’s account of her fight with Obama, though, is that not one reporter in America bothered to interview her before David Garrow found her, near the end of Obama’s presidency. As Obama’s live-in girlfriend and closest friend during the 1980s, Jager is probably the single most informed and credible source about the inner life of a young man whose election was accompanied by hopes of sweeping, peaceful social change in America—a hope that ended with the election of Donald Trump, or perhaps midway through Obama’s second term, as the president focused on the Iran deal while failing to address the concerns about rampant income inequality, racial inequality, and the growth of a monopoly tech complex that happened on his watch.

Yet when it came out six years ago, Rising Star was mostly ignored; as a result, its most scandalous and perhaps revelatory passages, such as Obama’s long letter to another girlfriend about his fantasies of having sex with men, read today, to people who are more familiar with the Obama myth than the historical record, like partisan bigotry. But David Garrow is hardly a hack whose work can or should be dismissed on partisan grounds. He is among the country’s most credible and celebrated civil rights historians—the author of The FBI and Martin Luther King, Jr. and Bearing the Cross (which won the Pulitzer Prize for Biography) and one of the three historian-consultants who animated the monumental PBS documentary Eyes on the Prize, as well as the author of a landmark history of abortion rights, Liberty and Sexuality.

Much, much, MUCH more here, as well as here, of which you should definitely read the etc. But don’t for a moment think Samuels’ interview with Garrow was strictly limited to salacious details about Bathhouse Barry’s, umm, bi-curiosity, let’s say. Oh no, he’s actually after much bigger quarry than that.

That Obama might enjoy serving as a third-term president in all but name, running the government from his iPhone, was a thought expressed in public by Obama himself, both before and after he left office. “I used to say if I can make an arrangement where I had a stand-in or front man or front woman, and they had an earpiece in, and I was just in my basement in my sweats looking through the stuff, and I could sort of deliver the lines while someone was doing all the talking and ceremony,” he told Steven Colbert in 2015, “I’d be fine with that because I found the work fascinating.” Even with all these clues, the Washington press corps—fresh off their years of broadcasting fantasies about secret communications links between Trump Tower and the Kremlin—seemed unable to imagine, let alone report on, Obama’s role in government.

I have never seen any evidence that Barack Obama has the slightest personal animus toward Jews as individuals. But from his denial of American exceptionalism, and his sourness toward Israel, going all the way back to Sheila Miyoshi Jager’s account of their breakup, there does seem to be an awareness of the underlying problem posed to his politics by Jews—that is, the problem posed by Jewish group survival and their continuing insistence on Jewish historical particularity.

Progressive theology is built on a mythic hierarchy of group victimhood which has endured throughout time, up until the present day; the injuries that the victims have suffered are so massive, so shocking, and so manifestly unjust that they dwarf the present. Such injuries must be remedied immediately, at nearly any cost. The people who do the work of remedying these injustices, by whatever means, are the heroes of history. Conversely, the sins of the chief oppressors of history, white men, are so dark that nothing short of abject humiliation and capitulation can begin to approach justice.

It goes to say that nothing about the terms of progressive theology is original. It is the theology of Soviet communism, with class struggle replaced by identity politics. In this system, Jews play a unique, double-edged role: They are both an identity group and a Trojan horse through which history can reenter the gates of utopia.

Ghettos were invented for Jews. Concentration camps, too. How can Jews be “privileged white people” if they are clearly among history’s victims? And if Jews aren’t white people, then perhaps lots of other white people are also victims and therefore aren’t “white,” in the theological sense in which that term gains its significance in progressive ideology. Maybe “Black people” aren’t always or primarily Black. Maybe the whole progressive race-based theology is, historically and ideologically speaking, a load of crap. Which is why the Jews are and will remain a problem.

Obama didn’t invent any of this stuff; he was just a wounded kid trying to figure out his own place in the world and get ahead. Still, looking back, it is hard to avoid the sense that Obama himself was exceptional. He was the guy chosen by history to put something in the American goldfish bowl that made all the fish go crazy and eat each other: America’s emerging oligarachy cementing its grip instead of going bust. The rise of monopoly internet platforms. The normalization of government spying on Americans. Race relations going south. Skyrocketing inequality. The rise of Donald Trump. The birth of Russiagate. It all happened with Obama in the White House.

To understand how we wound up here, it therefore seems necessary to start by understanding the man that so many of us refused to see outside of the myth that he created for himself. His problems are now our problems, as much as Donald Trump’s are.

That is why I went to talk to David Garrow.

And so he did. Follows, the interview itself, which is wide-ranging, very intriguing, and quite possible even dangerous, at least in a personal way, to Garrow and Samuels both. That there is no perceptible risk of similar harm to Bathhouse Barry is telling, I think.

The only way through it

Is to just do it.

We’ve been subjected to a lot of outrageous political double standards, but the one that says Democrats can deny – and even actively undermine – elections all they want, but Republicans go to jail for doing the same, might just be the one that tears the Republic apart.

It is very dangerous to teach a large number of people that elections are a joke and the political system is permanently rigged against them. The double standard on “election denial” is broadcasting that message with painful intensity. It’s almost gleeful mockery of democracy.

There’s basically nothing the Left can’t do to question, challenge, and undermine elections. Much of what Trump just got indicted for was a matter of widespread and open discussion on the Left after 2016. No threat of criminalizing such talk was made.

As if anyone really needed it, we’re getting a nice sneak peek at what hyper-politicized government crusades against “disinformation” will look like. Trump gets indicted, but dozens of “national security experts” who spread disinfo about Hunter’s laptop suffer no consequences.

At this point, a meme I hijacked from our good friends over at WRSA seems pretty apropos.

IfOnlyGOPe

Ahhh, if only. Onwards.

Democrats can do anything to win, by hook or by crook, and when they manage to lose even with ballot harvesting and “fortified” elections, they can undermine the election or actively sabotage the incoming administration. None of it will ever be treated as a crime.

Dems are even branching out from denying and undermining elections to go after other branches of government, as in their recent breathless campaign to undermine the Supreme Court, and even physically endanger justices they don’t like.

Our Republic has pulled itself off the mat after quite a few beatings, but this is the double standard we may not survive – turning elections into a “heads we win, tails you lose” joke. It fits neatly into the crisis of politicized and weaponized government agencies.

It’s an existential crisis when the permanent State uses its vast power and money to thwart elections that might threaten its interests – or to silence people who complain about its incompetence and malfeasance, very much including our Third World election process.

It’s looked for a good long while to me as if the way out of this mess has been reduced to but three options: Civil war, revolution, and/or national collapse and/or partition of some sort. Mind you, We Duh Sheeple won’t necessarily be the ones who get to decide which road to take—after the supine, even craven response to the FauxVid trial-run, we probably don’t deserve to be, can’t be trusted to be—but it seems to be narrowing rapidly to one (or perhaps some combination) of those three seriously unappetizing alternatives.

The above excerpts are from a Doc Zero thread, so of course you’ll want to read all of it.

Update! After a quick scan-through, I see that the preceding Hayward thread is well worth your time and attention as well.

The Hunter Biden saga illuminates the Biden family’s rapacious corruption, and even worse, the corruption of federal agencies to protect them. Also, it’s further evidence that we must shatter the elite bubble and force them to live in the America they made for the rest of us.

Of COURSE the corruption angle is huge, arguably the story of the century in American politics. Socialists claim they can create an all-knowing mega-government run by honest, selfless geniuses – but what they always deliver is a corrupt sewer state run by greedy mediocrities.

There are no big, honest governments, and every one of the many, many embarrassing tales of mega-corruption must be spotlighted to keep proving it, over and over again. The most important goal of civic reform today is shattering the pernicious illusion of Honest Big Government.

Hunter Biden is an absolutely perfect example of what socialism actually delivers: a privileged elite of boundless greed and degenerate morality, milking cash out of the trillion-dollar state by peddling influence and selling protection, insulated from all legal consequences.

Of COURSE that corruption slid easily into outright fascism over the past generation. It was only a matter of time before the mega-State began using its corporate Little Partners to skirt the Constitution and exert compulsive force against the people.

A-yup, you’ll never regret looking in on the good Doctah now and then.

Updated update! A Substack column I just recently became a free subscriber to ties both the above topics—the destruction of America That Was, and the FauxVid “dysfunction test”—neatly together, with a pretty little bow on top, and with the ongoing shit-typhoon of bogus Trump indictments thrown in for added spice.

Recent election interference from a weaponized Department of Justice intent on keeping Donald J. Trump from ever returning to the White House has horrified conservatives, independents, legal experts, and anyone with principles who cares about fairness, justice, and equality under the law.

They cannot fathom the banana republic transformation happening before their eyes, out in the open, and they weep for Lady Justice, who as I wrote after the shambolic New York indictment, “…hasn’t just been robbed of her blindfold, they’ve bent her over and invited every sick spook over for a gang bang.”

Watching conservatives’ confusion about recent election results and the political persecution of their favorite candidate is like watching the double-masked lockdowners waiting for Fauci to give them their next orders, except they’ll tune into the usual conservative commentariat who will never tell them the truth or risk losing their platforms that extract millions of dollars and billions of minutes of attention from these poor souls who just want their republic back.

You know the names: Bannon, Levin, Crowder, Hannity, Posobiec, Bongino, Beck, Shapiro, and the kid from Turning Point with down syndrome.

As they get their attention devotees to offer their labor to enrich their media empires, they further engender their rage while distancing them from reality.

What reality?

The reality that anyone with half a functioning brain could see coming since they orchestrated a domestic coup against Trump and spent four years undermining his Presidency.

The reality that conservative pundits failed for years to disclose to their loyal flock—Trump is not permitted to ever return to the White House. It doesn’t matter if he’s polling at 99% with all voters, he simply has two choices: Prison, or a plea deal that prevents his name from appearing on the ballot in 2024.

By George, I think he’s got it!

Why, as a matter of fact NO, Jason Aldean didn’t “sell out” or “cave”

Faux News did.

Aldean has stood behind his song and its message, and the attempts to cancel it have only made it more popular.

But now some people are reporting that Aldean caved to the woke mob by removing footage of a Black Lives Matter riot from the music video of “Try That in a Small Town.”

“Jason Aldean caved under pressure and removed all the Black Lives Matter footage from his music video despite receiving an outpouring of support from conservatives. So much for that. There are no more heroes,” lamented journalist Ian Miles Cheong. “Gotta have it both ways by pretending to be based for that cash, while folding to the woke in this business if you wanna keep getting invited to the Grammy’s [sic].”

“Jason Aldean quietly edited out the BLM rioters from his ‘controversial’ music video,” Brigitte Gabriel of ACT for America observed. “Very disappointing to see him cave to the woke mob.”

But that’s not what happened at all. According to a report from TMZ, the BLM riot footage used in the Aldean video came from Fox 5 in Atlanta, and the production company behind the video didn’t get the proper legal clearance to use the footage.

From the story Margolis links:

Sources connected to the music video production tell TMZ…back when they were producing the video, the company that produced it reached out to FOX on May 8 and asked for permission to use the 6 seconds of video shot by FOX 5 Atlanta…showing violence at a BLM rally.

We’re told the folks at FOX asked for more information … specifically the lyrics of the song. We’re told the production company sent FOX a link to the song — which was released May 19 — but the protocol was to send the lyrics in writing, which they never did.

Our sources say a week ago, FOX reached out to the production company and asked them to remove the video to avoid any legal action — which was described to us as a “polite ultimatum” — and the production company complied.

And there you have it; as always, the truth will out, though it may take a minute doing so. But also as per usual, the Left will use any lie they must so as to paper over the truth and claim another “victory” for themselves—even as flimsy, easily-disproven a one as this. Back over to Matt for the finisher, and the lesson to be learned, remembered, and always borne closely in mind.

So, this wasn’t about caving to the woke mob. This was Aldean’s production company being sloppy and not getting permission to use the footage included in the video. While there have been plenty of times conservatives have been rightfully disappointed by someone caving to the woke mob, this wasn’t one of those moments, and conservatives shouldn’t have jumped to conclusions.

Exactly, precisely so. They win enough as it is, without us pre-emptively surrendering when there’s no need for it, reflexively throwing one of our own under the bus at their behest. FUCK all that noise.

THEY’RE HEEEEERE

Say, did somebody or other mention aliens in the “Eyrie up” post earlier today? Why yes, I believe someone did at that.

US Has 12 Or More Alien Spacecraft, Say Military And Intelligence Contractors
Military and intelligence agencies are withholding evidence from Congress, sources say In April, the director of the Pentagon’s new program for studying UFOs said he had seen no evidence of alien spacecraft. “I should also state clearly for the record,” said Sean Kirkpatrick, the Director of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), “that in our research, AARO has found no credible evidence thus far of extraterrestrial activity, off-world technology, or objects that defy the known laws of physics.”

But on Monday, an Air Force whistleblower contradicted the Pentagon’s claim, telling The Debrief and News Nation that the U.S. government is in possession of “quite a number” of alien spacecraft. “I thought it was totally nuts,” David Grusch said. “I thought at first I was being deceived.”

And now, multiple sources close to the matter have come forward to tell Public that Grusch’s core claims are accurate. The individuals are all either high-ranking intelligence officials, former intelligence officials, or individuals who we could verify were involved in U.S. government UAP efforts for three or more decades each. Two of them have testified, including as recently as last year, to both AARO and Congress.

The individuals said they had seen or been presented with “credible” and “verifiable” evidence that the U.S. government, and U.S. military contractors, possess at least 12 or more alien space crafts, some of which they shared with AARO, which AARO has refused to provide to Congress. The reason AARO “has not discovered any verifiable information,” they said, is because it does have the authority to verify it and may not want to verify it.

Grusch, 36, is a senior intelligence analyst who represented the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) to the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force, the precursor to AARO, from 2019-2021. Grusch is also a decorated combat officer for his service in Afghanistan.

“His assertion concerning the existence of a terrestrial arms race occurring sub-rosa over the past eighty years focused on reverse engineering technologies of unknown origin is fundamentally correct,” said Karl Nell, a retired Army Colonel who worked with Grusch on the UAP Task Force, which preceded the creation of AARO, told The Debrief,” as is the indisputable realization that at least some of these technologies of unknown origin derive from non-human intelligence.”

Some of the same sources who shared information with Grusch, as well as others, spoke to Public about retrieved spacecraft that they say is in the possession of the U.S. government. “I know of at least 12-15 craft,” said one person, who said they shared the information with AARO and Congress. “Every five years, we get one or two recovered for one reason or another, from either a landing or that we catch, or they just crash.”

A different contractor said, “There were at least four morphologies, different structures. Six were in good shape; six were not in good shape. There were cases where the craft landed, and the occupants left the craft unoccupied. There have been high-level people, including generals, who have placed their hand on the craft, and I would have no reason to disbelieve them.”

Oh, I can think of quite a few very good reasons, myself. Nonetheless. Loozianner John Kennedy has something to say on all this as well.

There appears to be bipartisan interest in getting more transparency from the executive branch about UAPs (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena—M), though there was some skepticism as well. Rep. Eric Burlison (R-Mo.) questioned how aliens with technology advanced enough to make it to Earth from billions of miles away could be “incompetent” enough to crash here.

It’s a fair point.

And, true to form, Sen. John Kennedy of Louisiana responded to the hearings in a way only he could, in a campaign video.

“In Washington, D.C., common sense is illegal. I swear to God and all the angels that’s true. You know, I remember when the kitchen table issues mattered more than pronouns, when boys weren’t allowed to compete in girls’ sports, when truth mattered a lot more than political correctness,” he said, “Maybe that’s why the aliens won’t talk to us.”

Heh. Perfectly understandable, though. With the pandemic of daylight barking moonbattery currently plaguing the nation, why on Earth would any race of beings possessed of intelligence vastly superior to Bozo Sapiens want to? Believe the whistleblowers or no—and I really, really want to—the last word on all this can only be Jack Nicholson’s.

Far as I’m concerned, George has way more credibility than anybody currently working for FedGovCo ever will.

Update! I glided right past this bit from that last link with nary a thought, but on further reflection it might bear some mulling over.

Retired U.S. Navy commander David Fravor testified that the infamous “tic-tac” shaped UAP he encountered in 2004, exhibited technology “far superior than anything that we had, have today, or are looking to develop in the next 10+ years.”

Oh rilly? Only ten-plus years? Did CDR Fravor just give a certain game away, perhaps?

Step by step, inch by inch, it crept up on us

Trust us, this is nothing at all like what it so obviously is. Hey, who you gonna believe, your beloved, benevolent FedGovCo masters friends, or your own lyin’ eyes?

As FedNow Launches, Fed Reassures Public That ‘Service Has No Relation With CBDCs’
As Bruce WIlds noted earlier in the week, The Fed has stated that FedNow is not intended to kill or replace other money transfer options like Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, or Zelle. Instead, it is designed to work alongside the current systems built by the private sector. Still. FedNow could rapidly become a game changer. Money.com notes this FedNow is launching soon. FedNow was scheduled to begin formal certification of participants of the program in April 2023, with a formal launch planned for July 2023. It will operate on a 24-hour, 365-days-a-year basis,

This new system differs from consumer-facing apps which allow instant peer-to-peer payments, FedNow won’t be an app per se. It’s more designed to allow banks to move money instantly. More than 50 financial institutions are “early adopters” of FedNow, some of the notable banks that will use FedNow include JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, and Peoples Bank.

FedNow will only be available to customers of the banks that choose to implement FedNow. The Fed says all 10,000 or so banks that are regulated by the Fed can join but will not be required to do so. The claim is that, for everyday people, FedNow could make managing money much easier and faster. It would allow you to pay your mortgage bill on Christmas Day without worrying about it being delayed or late because of the holiday.

Aww, how nice, how generous, how selfless and Concerned™ of them. How did we ever manage to get along without their help, I wonder?

This also means that transferring money between, say, your checking and savings accounts at different banks could be done instantly. Even gig workers like Uber drivers could get paid immediately after each completed ride. It also means a record of every transaction that occurs will be put on “record.” In short “big-brother” will know everything you do, your preferences, and how you live your life. To many of us, this amounts to an invasion of privacy.

So what? Big fuckin’ deal, sez I. If you have nothing to hide then you have nothing to fear, amIright?

We give the last word back to Bruce Wilds, who argues that FedNow is another step towards more control over the individual.

Well, I mean, DUH. Absolutely everything they do is. That’s the proper and necessary function of our central government, exactly as the Constitution says. You can look it up if you don’t believe me.

It points out that while not everyone will choose to “opt-in” and adopt such a system, it will appear benign to most people and rapidly be accepted. Even those that resist will find the government will most likely force them to use it when dealing with official agencies.

Oh, pipe down, you treasonous, bigoted, ultra-über-mega-MAGA H8RRR, you. Know you role and shut your hole. When We Duh Peepul want any more shit from you, we’ll just squeeze your head.

The biggest question

To ask is to answer.

There is one fundamental question that any candidate vying for the Republican nomination for president of the United States in 2024 must answer — but that as of yet has gone largely unaddressed, at least publicly, as the field spars over significant but ultimately subordinate issues.

The question is this: How will you win the general election under the present voting system?

A: Unless he’s a Deep State-approved Vichy GOPe collaborator/co-conspirator, he won’t.

As Americans well know, we are lightyears removed from the election days of old — singular days when people voted in person, on paper ballots, after presenting identification. Now, we have mass mail-in elections, conducted over weeks, where those voting in person often do so on electronic machines, and with lax identification standards.

Democrats largely developed and long fought for this system, willing it into existence under the cover of Covid-19. Naturally, they have successfully manipulated and exploited the voting regime they made.

Ballot harvesting is becoming an accepted norm. Candidates not only have to earn votes but figure out how to collect as many votes as they possibly can. Are Republicans overnight going to out-harvest their opponents, or figure out some new means to identify and turn out voters otherwise sitting on the sidelines in sufficient numbers to overcome Democrats’ ballot-harvesting superiority?

The Biden administration is working to leverage federal agencies to mobilize presumed Democrat voters as well — also potentially in conjunction with the same NGOs — under a March 2021 executive order, “Promoting Access to Voting,” that has remained shrouded in mystery as the bureaucracy stonewalls over inquiries about its implementation. Republicans have started to engage in election administration, but largely in the context of monitoring over execution. What is the plan to combat Democrat control over election machinery?

Lawfare is also now an integral part of our election system. Republicans have started to devote significantly greater attention and resources to the litigation game, but to catch up to Democrats will require a long-term, sustained effort, backed with real money. And filing suit over election policies and practices after votes have already been cast of course has proven a losing proposition, as demonstrated by courts’ unwillingness to grapple with fundamental issues around the 2020 election largely on technical grounds.

Meanwhile, Democrats have engaged in efforts to ruin the lives of Republican election lawyers — in their own words to “make them toxic in their communities and in their firms” — seeking to kneecap their competition before it ever reaches the courtroom.

Are Republican candidates devising comprehensive election lawfare strategies right now to both aggressively target existing election chicanery and stave off that which is to come — with the courage and intellectual heft behind it needed to win in the face of an unrelenting and calculating opposition?

These in-built challenges exist before even discussing election fraud, and the imperative for a Republican candidate to exhaust every available means to prevent it, and in the absolute worst case to detect and mitigate it — this at a time when voting happens at further remove from the election booth than ever before, making finding and proving fraud all the more difficult.

Layer on top of these issues the broader forces any such candidate will be up against, and the prospect of winning becomes even more daunting.

Aw, even with all that, you ain’t seen nothing yet. Wait til they’ve finally achieved their longstanding dream of eliminating the Electoral College once and for all, that’s when the REAL fun starts.

Is it tyranny yet?

Yes, it most certainly is. The Advanced stage of it, actually; we blew right by the “Intermediate” and “Beginner” levels and left them spinning Wile E Coyote-like in our dust long, long ago.

By operations underway I mean things like mRNA vaccines stealthily deleting kin, friends, and public figures from the scene…decriminalizing crime…undermining the oil industry by a thousand cuts…liquidating small business…making little children insane over sex…flooding the land with illegal immigrants…devaluing the currency…queering elections — all of these things done on purpose, by the way. And if you complain about any of it, here comes the FBI or the IRS knocking on your door.

So, to make sure that a collapse of the USA comes on-schedule, there is the useful fracas created by our government geniuses over in Ukraine that creeps day-by-day toward a quick American assisted suicide. Just to remind you, here’s how that started: In 2014, the US fomented a coup against Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych. In short order, the Russian language was banned (despite the fact that Most Ukrainians speak Russian). A piqued Russia re-po’d the Crimean Peninsula. When ethnic Russians in eastern Ukraine (the Donbas provinces) tried to go their own way, Ukraine shelled and rocketed them for eight years. That was the setup.

All of the above was absolutely unnecessary, you understand. Ukraine had been going about its business the best it could since 1991 as a shlub nation with an aged-out Soviet infrastructure, some US-sponsored bioweapons labs, and no energy resources. It had been collecting royalties for allowing Russia to run oil pipelines across its fruited plain — of which, a lot of gas was siphoned off in transit by bandits. Ukraine attempted to compensate for its disadvantages by being an international money laundromat, though that only benefited its oligarch class (and the extended “Joe Biden” family).

After “Joe Biden” got “elected” in 2020, and news of his family’s sketchy business activities in Ukraine and elsewhere finally dribbled out, Ukraine was turned into a giant grenade and “JB” (or persons acting on his behalf) pulled the pin. NATO was dragooned into the quarrel as backup against its better judgment. If the objective was to weaken Russia, as stated by one of our strategic geniuses, SecDef Loyd Austin, it didn’t work out. Rather, it exposed the USA as a reckless global psychopath bent on wrecking every country it pretends to help — including the major countries in NATO.

Another good outing from Kunstler which, alas, falls apart in the closing ‘graph.

Anyway, “Joe Biden’s” entire act is unspooling. He is a prank that the Democratic Party played on the American people. Sometime before Halloween he will have to exit the scene in disgrace, gruesome as the prospect might seem, with Kamala Harris anxiously draining vodka bottles as she awaits history’s call at the old Naval Observatory. That will be a fun day in the USA, all righty.

Sorry Jim, ain’t gonna happen; barring Too Old Jaux succumbing to age and general decrepitude, he ain’t going anywhere, and will assuredly be running for re-“election” next year should he live long enough to. The Repugnicants aren’t going to be impeaching his corrupt ass, in spite of an over-abundance of grounds for doing so—and, having grubbed so very desperately for several decades to worm his way into the White House, the notion that he would ever step down of his own volition is self-evidently absurd.

Nobody is coming for your guns

Except when they are. And, y’know, DO.

‘We’re Shutting the Gun Shows Down’: ATF SWAT Team Raids Part-Time Oklahoma FFL’s Home, Confiscates His Guns
Russell Fincher is a high school history teacher, a Baptist pastor and a part-time gun dealer. He also coaches Little League in his hometown of Tuskahoma, Oklahoma, which has a population of around 151 souls.

Fincher, 52, has had a federal firearm license for three years. He has no brick-and-mortar gun shop. He’s what used to be called a “kitchen table FFL.” He sells most of his firearms at gun shows, including Wanenmacher’s Arms Show in Tulsa.

“Living in Southeast Oklahoma, if you don’t have a gun under $400, people ain’t buying it,” he said Thursday. “Rarely do people come to my house to buy a gun.”

In April, Fincher received a call from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives. They wanted to do an inspection at his home. “I told them they were welcome anytime,” Fincher said.

Two ATF inspectors arrived a few days later. They spent three hours in his home. They took pictures of his 4473s with their cell phones, which Fincher has since learned is an illegal although common practice.

“Honestly, they were way nicer than I expected,” he said. “They said I had some guns that had traces on them, which concerned them. It concerned me too.”

And that was only the beginning of an ordeal which, in the end, cost an entirely blameless man who had committed no crime, never faced a single charge, and never had his day in court, an estimated 50-60,000 dollars’ worth of legally-owned firearms—guns that he will never, ever get back, no matter what he says or does. Bottom line:

“They have my life in the palm of their hands, and they have very little accountability,” he said. “I’m just trying to make a living and it takes three jobs just to make ends meet. Dealing as little as I have with the ATF, when you ask them a specific question, they’ll tell you it’s a grey area. Well, a grey area can send you to jail. I’m not Hunter Biden. I’m not going to get my weapon charges dropped.”

Nope, you won’t. The best you can hope for is to not be summarily and without due process thrown into the Amerikan gulag to rot alongside hundreds (thousands? Millions? Who among us can really know?) of other poor naifs who imagined they still had rights, a Constitution to protect them, and a country that bore any resemblance to the one the forefathers created.

Far be it from me to urge martyrdom on anyone, but the day has come when, the very minute that initial intel-gathering phone call from any FederalGovCo agency is finished, the recipient of said call should be running to load mags, then positioning him/herself in good cover by his front door, ready to open fire when several carloads of Feds arrive.

If people like Fincher must henceforth consider themselves to be targets, then they by God oughtn’t be the only ones present. From now on, there shouldn’t be any more “one-way” shooting ranges, not even in our own neighborhoods.

Read all of it—and prepare to be sickened, appalled, and infuriated. Then, just, y’know, prepare. Because you know as well as I do that sooner or later, they’ll be coming.

Again via Divemedic.

Oh, just this, shitheel: I would destroy your precious little camera by any means required—including but not limited to slingshots, crowbars, and/or ball-peen hammers—then, when/if you show up to replace it, we’re gonna find out how quickly you can learn to trip the light fantastic whilst dodging mucho-mucho Freedom Pills™ tossed at high velocity in your general direction—a course of instruction provided entirely free of charge to you, courtesy of the Hornady Critical Defense School of Dance and Proper Deportment.

Then, the third time you show up—also, should you prove so foolhardy as to actually do so, the LAST time—I adjust fire, stop shooting AROUND you, and instead shoot directly AT you, INTO you, and THROUGH you. Whereupon, your mouldering carcass will be:

  • Chopped into more manageable-sized sections;
  • Bagged securely, with neither ceremony nor undue fuss;
  • Strewn randomly about obscure, heavily-forested locations across four (4) neighboring states, rife with savage fauna which will be only too happy to complete the job of waste disposal for me

And voila! Problem fucking solved, far as I’m concerned.

I keep telling you idjit gun-grabbers: stop talking and just COME AND TAKE THEM already. Enough of this farting and fumblefucking around; put up (and get shot up), or shut up. Think 2A people ain’t serious about that? Best think again, Poindexter; fuck around, and I assure you you’re gonna find out.

Millions upon millions of Real Americans out there are practically writhing away on tenterhooks, just wishing and hoping and praying you’ll try it. Having myself interacted twice annually, for several years running, at the good old Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot with the best part of around 7-8000 of such men (and women, and even children), I can swear most solemnly that they will wade into you with a smile on their faces and a song in their hearts. That being so, and it is, well…

LET’S DO THIS THING!

Errata mea culpa update! Dammit, this blatantly threatening little screed was supposed to be tonight’s Eyrie post! Alas, to my sudden chagrin I went and assigned categories as per usual with any other CF post, after which I just hit the “Send to Blog” MarsEdit button instead of the “Save as Draft” one, essentially on autopilot at that point, with the results you now see before your weary, bloodshot orbs.

Not to worry though; currently, I have around 12 to 16 open browser tabs’ worth of prospective blogfodder awaiting my scrupulous attention, any one of which ought to do to get me off and running. Because of my bonehead mistake the Eyrie might be a little late, but fret not, it’s a-comin’.

“Stop embarrassing your ancestors”

Matt Bracken, being the helpful, big-hearted sort of guy he is—what can I say, he’s a giver—has provided a Gab transcription of a golden Emerald Robinson Twitter thread, which kicks off here.

Bracken Em Robinson

Boils it all down pretty nicely, I’d say. Thanks for all you do, Matt.

OHPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASE…

Is the day I’ve so long awaited, when shitlibs finally stop talking and start putting their money where their big flapping yaps are and just COME AND TAKE THEM ALREADY about to dawn at long, long last?

Here’s a promise, and it’s flat and subject to no negotiation or compromise of any kind: I will personally shoot in the head any left-wing private citizen who shows up on my doorstep demanding I allow him/her/it to confiscate my guns, or attempts to detain me in any way in the course of same. That’s my pledge to you, shitlibs.

You got one hell of a lot to learn about 2A people, Libtards, and very little time left in which to learn it. At least at MY house if noplace else, your gun-grabbing insanity is not going to work out for you quite the way you foolishly imagine. So be it, then. The die is cast, the sides chosen, the lines of battle drawn. Let’s get this party started!

Divemedic’s response is equally apropos, if a little more concise than my own.
