Well, one of ‘em, at any rate. These days, one of a great, great many, seems like.

Trump is firing back at those who say that supporting Israel doesn’t necessarily serve American interests and is thus not “America First.” He explained it all to The Atlantic’s Michael Scherer, who asked the president a question about the views of people like (TuckerCarlson.

“Well, considering that I’m the one that developed ‘America First,’ and considering that the term wasn’t used until I came along, I think I’m the one that decides that,” Trump told Scherer. “For those people who say they want peace — you can’t have peace if Iran has a nuclear weapon. So for all of those wonderful people who don’t want to do anything about Iran having a nuclear weapon—that’s not peace.”

Bold mine, just to highlight exactly what I’m talking about here. Far as I can determine, these are the horns of our geat contemporary dilemna: assuming we DO have any sort of obligation to end the threat presented to Western democracies by terror-sponsorong rogue states of which Iran is the undisputed ring-leader—insofar as it really lies within our power to do so—then how far do we let the West’s kinda-sorta Reverse Prime Directive requiring that we mind our own friggin’ beeswax go to hold us back?

Just spitballing here, folks, that’s all. Seems to me it’s a pretty interesting thought experiment; not saying I buy into any of it, on either side.

If the Iranian Regime Falls, What Will Follow?
A sudden collapse of the Iranian regime looks like a real possibility.

As far as I know, the Israelis have no plans to take out Iran’s spiritual leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, but they are systematically dismantling the pillars of state power underneath him. The Ayatollahs are on the run, and the generation that put them into power doesn’t have a ton of support from average Iranians.

Persia in the 1960s and 1970s was a rapidly developing and Westernizing country. It was the regional power, balancing the less Western-friendly Arab states. The women were treated with dignity and enjoyed the same freedoms as Western women–videos of Iranians living their daily life were not very dissimilar to those from a European Mediterranean city.

But the regime was toppled by Islamists who were very unhappy with the trend toward Westernization. An unholy alliance between communists and Islamists systematically undermined the regime, and when Jimmy Carter withdrew US support for the Shah due to his repression of the opposition, the regime fell.

The Shah was right and Carter was wrong. We have been in a low-medium level conflict with Iran for over four decades, and millions died in the Iran-Iraq war because of Carter’s foolishness. The Middle East was destabilized, and progress was set back decades.

From what we should damned well have learned about it by now, nation-building in places inhabited by hyper-aggressive 13th-century primordials whose pseudo-religion has inculcated in them an obsessive drive for world conquest is a mug’s game. At this point, all the optimism in the world isn’t going to suffice to make Iran an exception to the rule. Despite having been moving steadily and rapidly along for years and years in a much more felicitous direction, those halcyon days under the Shah are long gone now. The Mad Mullahs having beavered away in quite the opposite direction throughout their tenure, it ain’t likely they can ever be brought back.

As I have long maintained, Jimmeh Peanuthead has more to answer for than just about any other US President I can think of right offhand. By sitting back and more or less passively allowing the Shah to be deposed, he hung a burden around the neck of Western Civ that has weighed it down mightily ever since. Thus is it demonstrated yet again just where exactly the road paved with good intentions leads.

Iran has been the bleeding ass sore of the Middle East since 1979.

We should have been flying Arc Light rounders to their cities from Diego Garcia hourly for the last 50 years, but we’ve been too chickenshit to man up and do what’s both deserved, and long past necessary.

Israel lacked the ability to do what they did yesterday as anything but one-way suicide missions, until they were sold US KC-135 tanker aircraft during Obozo’s administration.

Israel can’t wait until after there’s a mushroom cloud overhead to act. It’s an existential luxury, and asinine to expect it of them. So Wikileaks should either STFU, or quit the charade by just putting on a pointed white hood, and get their true feelings out in the open.

They could be that stupid once, but to stay this stupid perpetually is the calculated and deliberate act of someone maliciously hoping they could see all of Israel smoked under a rain of nuclear destruction, partly as wishcasting, and secondarily as a shout out of affirmation to their fellow mouth-breathers worldwide.

Like the internet was short of that at any point since it started existing.

20-Dimensional chess move: while Trump’s hands are clean in Israel’s strike, one consequence of it now has Iran cutting off drone sales to Russia, because they need them to attack Israel. So in one move Israel has cut the Houthi terror pipeline, yet again severely crimped Iran’s nuclear ambitions (as if exploding nuclear scientists and Stuxnet viruses weren’t enough), and taken some heat off Ukraine – supposedly by accident.

That’s what diplomats and the E-ring at the Pentagon call a hat trick.

I repeat: interesting, veddy interesting, wouldn’t you say?

Update to the updated update! Okay, via Stephen, this is beginning to look seriouser and seriouser. In a manner of speaking.

President Donald Trump continues to state that the American military will not be joining the conflict, despite Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s requests to do so.

That said, Teddy Roosevelt famously advised “Speak softly and carry a big stick,” and, right now, Uncle Sam seems to be crafting a mighty big stick within striking distance of Iran:

  • Item: There are now three aircraft carriers (two American, one British) taking positions within striking distance of Iran…
  • Item: “A major military airlift appears to now be underway, as an unprecedented number of U.S. Air Force KC-135 and KC-46 Aerial-Refueling Tankers have departed from airbases across the United States and appear to be preparing to cross the Atlantic towards Europe.”
  • Item: Multiple B-2s are already believe to be stationed at Diego Garcia, well within strike distance of Iran for the B-2 (though it might need refueling on the return trip).

Maybe all that movement is indeed just to give President Trump “options” should the Iranians try something crazy. But if I had to guess, it seems like the groundwork for some sort of planned operation is being laid.

It may be that President Trump thinks that the mullah’s current prostrate and distracted status may be the perfect time to settle the Houthi’s hash. Having already attacked American navy ships (absolute casus belli under international law), the time may be ripe to finally dismantle the Houthi threat.

Having for many years advocated loud and long for a once-and-for-all settling of jihadi hash, then turning on a dime to cheer Trump’s “no more endless foreign wars” campaign plank, I can’t honestly say I’m entirely comfortable objecting to these moves now. I’d make a piss-poor pacifist, I suppose.

Israel is doing what it must, and here are the reasons.

A nation that possesses weapons of mass destruction and delivery systems that can wield them at long range acquires responsibilities along with those things. One of those responsibilities pertains to its rhetoric. Its rulers’ statements must be taken with full seriousness, especially their threats. Nation X must regard a threat from nation Y as equivalent to an actual attack. This was a component of American strategic doctrine for many decades.

The theocrats who rule Iran have said many times that, were Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon and an appropriate delivery system, it would thereby acquire an obligation to use it against Israel as soon as possible. Israel’s government must assume that that statement is sincere. Though the phrase existential threat is used too loosely these days, it applies here.

Israel’s intelligence service is one of the best in the world. If Aman’s and Mossad’s analysts are convinced that Iran is on the brink of acquiring a nuclear weapon, the odds are overwhelming that it is so. In that case, Israel is compelled to act, as indeed it has.

Note that the actual identity of the threat-making nation is of little consequence. If any other nuclear power were to make such a threat, the gravity of it would be the same, though Israel’s response would surely vary according to the threat-maker’s location and capabilities. Threats to use weapons of mass destruction must always be treated as sincere.

As for the possible involvement of the United States, the matter is similar though not existential. Iran has threatened to strike American military assets in “retaliation” for Israel’s strikes against Iran. Ignore the lunacy of it. If it happens, America will be compelled to act, but until then, staying out of the conflict is the expected posture, and probably the best.

For all else, we must wait and see.

That’s about the size of it, yeah. Seems to me we’re pretty fortunate to have, in Binyamin Netanyahu’s government, an Israeli leadership intelligent enough, competent enough, awake enough to the threat Iran is to Western Civ entire that we can confidently back Bibi’s play here without suffering a lot of undue angst and/or agita over it.

What the Hell Was That Tulsi Gabbard Video About?
Let’s talk about nuclear war, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard’s weird video about nuclear war.

AWWWW! Do we HAVE to, Uncle Steve? JEEZ….

Gabbard got raked over the coals by right-leaning critics, some conflating her remarks with an historically illiterate apology for Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Noah Rothman was one of several who accused her of “all but endors[ing] Barack Obama’s revisionist and ahistorical account of the end of the Second World War,” although I didn’t hear anything like that.

But that’s not to say that Gabbard’s video wasn’t at the very least odd.

At one point, Gabbard claimed that our “political elite and warmongers” are fomenting global thermonuclear war “because they are confident that they will have access to nuclear shelters for themselves and for their families that regular people won’t have access to.”

They still have to come out sometime. Real life isn’t an episode of “Fallout.”

Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) — no RINO squish — quipped, “She obviously needs to change her meds,” and I’m inclined to agree.

I’m not the biggest fan of Gabbard on policy — she was strangely buddy-buddy on several occasions with Syria’s Bashar al-Assad and sometimes comes across as a Putin apologist. But I understand Trump’s desire, the nation’s need, and Gabbard’s ability to shake up the D.C. intel community. 

But none of that explains the general weirdness on display here.

Curiously, when Trump met this weekend at Camp David to discuss Iran and Gaza strategy with his “top team,” including “Vice President Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, chief of staff Susie Wiles, special envoy Steve Witkoff, CIA director John Ratcliffe and other senior officials,” Gabbard was not in attendance.

There’s also the question of why the president’s DNI would make a campaign-style video.

Is she on her way out — of her own accord or not? I won’t pretend to even have a guess.

Nor will I. Tulsi Gabbard has long walked a very different path than most any other American ProPol you could name, for which habit I’ve always liked more than disliked her. As a confirmed off-the-beaten-track weirdo myself for my whole life, how could it be otherwise? Long as your personal “freak flag” doesn’t involve pedophilia, necrophilia, or bestiality; promoting mental dysfunction by insisting everyone endorse your delusional notion that, in your own head, you are not in fact the biological sex you so clearly are; suppression of others’ right to freedom of expression by means of intimidation and/or violence; shitting in the streets; and any and every other traducement of a free man’s God-given rights as enumerated in the US Constitution, you just go right ahead and let that freak flag of your’n fly, ain’t gonna catch no grief from this ol’ boy about it.

Who the hell even knows what’s going on in the lady’s pretty head this time, but looking at the bigger overall picture we’ve seen of Gabbard, her instincts, and her inclinations, I’m willing to overlook a little weirdness now and then. Certainly, she’s utterly loyal to the Bossman who put her where she is now—more loyal than she’ll ever be to any collectivist ideology; the criminal organization masquerading as a political party pimping it; or the nefarious, sub-rosa skullduggery by which Team Stalin hopes to ram their agenda down Real American throats, whether they will or they nil.

On the other hand, one thing we’ve all learned on the PDQ about President Donald John Trump v2.0 this time out: he sure knows how to keep ‘em guessing, don’t he? The man’s got a real gift for putting absolutely everybody—be they friend, foe, or disinterested passerby—on the back foot and seeing to it that they stay that way for as long as he needs ’em to be, as my dear old Grampa used to say. Going all the way back to the 2016 campaign, every time you heard yet another pinhead press “corpseman” griping about OMB’s roundabout, meandering way of speaking, how nobody could ever seem to pin The Donald down and force a straightforward, direct answer from him regarding any topic at all—ZOMG what is WRONG with you people can’t you fucking see he is just so stupid stupid stupid he can’t even utter coherent  sentences in correct English, he’s soooooo stupid!!!—it was always my belief that what we were really looking at was Trump maneuvering the pasty, officious dweeb into his patented Figure Four Leg Lock (Rhetorical), only the poor victim wasn’t bright enough to realize he’d just been made a fool of by the better, smarter, more wily man.

Many Americans express bewilderment to me as to why even the soi-disant Euro-pussies would surrender their homelands to barbarians without a shot being fired. Fair point – except that the pilot programme for this unprecedented civilisational suicide was an American jurisdiction, and once one of the most glittering in the Union. Among forty-nine other states, it was the Golden State; it fired the imaginations not just of Americans but of much of the planet: California, here I come! Won’t you get hip to this timely tip? I left my heart in San Francisco…

Really? If you did, it’ll be sitting in a pile of fecal matter. Even as it happened, the loss of California was not much analysed: The Democrats preferred to take their victory sotto voce, while Republicans were still bleating about “Ronald Reagan’s California”, as if it had not joined the Lost City of Atlantis on the bottom of the seabed. Orange County, said Mr Reagan, is where “all good Republicans go to die”.

Almost right. It’s where the Republican Party went to die. In 1990 the OC was still two-thirds white; now it’s a third, or the same as the Hispanic population. And yet the GOP remains mystified why one of the most Republican strongholds in the country is now just another Democrat county. California has more electoral votes than any other state. Across the country, in another vote-rich state, New York City is now forty per cent immigrant.

In the end, it’s all demography. Yesterday, I quoted from an old column of mine from the immediate aftermath of the 2012 election. But I thought the whole thing could use a replay – because demography killed California, and demographic transformation is not a natural phenomenon.

NYPD vehicles torched in suspected arson attack as cops find undetonated explosive devices nearby
Arsonists torched at least 11 NYPD vehicles in a targeted attack in a Brooklyn parking lot early Thursday — with undetonated explosive devices also found after two masked suspects were seen running away, police and sources said.

Police and FDNY responded to a report of multiple vehicles ablaze at a lot in Bushwick at the intersection of Central and DeKalb avenues — just a block from the 83rd Precinct station house — around 1:30 a.m. Thursday.

Mayor Eric Adams said at an unrelated press conference that 11 vehicles were damaged and 14 were impacted. No injuries were reported.

The NYPD did not immediately give a suspected motive for the attack, however a flyer taped to a wall directly across from the police station accuses officers of the 83rd precinct of breaking up Puerto Rican Day festivities on Sunday night, injuring revelers.

The fliers called for resistance against the police, and tied in the anti-ICE and protests have spread from Los Angeles to New York City and global anti-Israel protests.

“Now is the time for unified, disciplined action — from Palestine to Puerto Rico to Los Angeles, the struggle for freedom continues,” the flier read.

The above-cited reports of outbreaks of organized, coordinated shitlib violence from sea to shining sea are purely coincidental and entirely unrelated, I’m sure.

Let’s take a look at when the US purchased California and half of Mexico’s territory in 1848 got California, other states from Mexico for $15 million in 1848

The protests in Los Angeles, a response to the immigration policies of the Trump administration, continue to rage.

Though US President Donald Trump has sent thousands of National Guard troops as well as hundreds of marines, the demonstrators seem to be undeterred.

But how did it all come about? Let us take a closer look.

It all kicked off way back in the 1840s.

Tensions between the two countries had been growing for years.

On the one side you had the US evangelists of the concept of “manifest destiny” – which preached the superiority and the seemingly divine right of Americans to colonise whatever lands they saw fit on the continent – and on the other you had a wary Mexico.

In the meantime hostilities had nearly broken out between the two countries after the US Navy in 1942 – wrongly believing that war had broken out – seized Monterey in California.

While Monterey was immediately returned, it was a harbinger of things to come.

In 1845, outgoing President John Tyler annexed Texas as his final act in the US’ highest office.

By then, Mexico had severed diplomatic relations with the United States.

Polk began with diplomacy – he initially attempted to buy California, New Mexico and land near Texas for $30 million.

In November 1845, he even sent US diplomat John Slidell to open negotiations with Mexico.

However, Slidell was soundly rebuffed – the Mexican government refused to even see him.

But Polk was prepared– he had already sent US Army commander Zachary Taylor to occupy disputed land.

When Mexican troops fired on Taylor and his forces, Polk had the pretext he needed.

Polk immediately moved Congress for a declaration of war against America’s neighbour.

The Mexican-American War would end (with) the US comprehensively defeating its neighbour.

American armies led by General Zachary Taylor and General Winfield Scott, often outnumbered, would defeat Mexican troops again and again in a series of pitched battles.

The US lost more soldiers to infection and disease than actual battle.

Ulysses S Grant and Robert E Lee, the men who would respectively lead the Union and Confederate armies during the Civil War, received their first taste of real combat in Mexico.

And the rest, as they say, is history…like it or lump it, beaners.

The glancing mention of Grant and Marse Robert above is notable, apt, and historically insructive. By and large, Civil War v1.0 would be fought by two national armies whose officer corps had won their respective spurs in the Mex-Ami rhubarb. With the Federal army, the majority of its field-grade officers would be offered their commissions based almost entirely on their Mexican War reputations, which sometimes had been fairly won and other times…eh, not so much.

In the long run, the relative cakewalk South of the US border ended up serving the US and CSA both quite well as a sort of hands-on, non-classroom OCS/practical training course/advanced tactical studies program for the shattering, murderous conflagration soon to get underway North of the border.

Marines Deployed To Another Third-World Country Full Of Hostile Foreigners
LOS ANGELES, CA — As has become the standard operating procedure for the military branch over the last half-century, 700 members of the United States Marines found themselves being deployed to yet another third-world country that is full of hostile foreigners.

In this latest deployment to a non-English-speaking wasteland, the Marines were supremely confident that they would be able to handle the marauding hordes of foreign nationals, despite the inhospitable conditions presented by the rubble and destruction of the surroundings.

“Same thing, different day,” said Sergeant Heath Parsons. “We know the drill. We train and prepare until the day when our number is called and we have to report to save the world by traveling to some third-world hell-hole to confront foreign hostiles. We’re used to it at this point.”

Though there had already been some skirmishes in which Marines clashed with the angry natives in the area, the presence of the U.S. Military had already had an impact on the war-torn region. “You can catch little glimpses of what this place used to be like,” said another Marine. “It’s part of our job as Marines, in addition to being prepared to fight, to bring a little bit of hope with us from the United States to show places like this what life can be like under better circumstances.”

Some of the foreigners cautiously welcomed the Marines, while others remained combative when faced with English-speaking Americans.

Well, it’s just that, out in the “press 2 for English” sectors of the FUSA, they run across so vanishingly few of the darn things, see. Puts them right out of their reckoning. “Exotic” doesn’t even begin to cover the idea of an American in LA who actually speaks the King’s English.

At publishing time, rumors persisted that the Pentagon was committed to eventually establishing a democracy in the area.

Shhhhyeeeaah, THAT’LL be the day. You’d have a tough time coming up with much more than, oh, eight or ten people—irrespective of ethnicity, nationality, income (if any) and/or educational level, citizenship status, gender, sexual orientation, etc etc who’d be willing to admit harboring even a passing interest in that ”democracy/liberty/prosperity” horsepuckey at this late date, I‘d guess. Well, except for the areas within, say, five-ten minutes’ walk of Ft Irwin, Camp Pendleton, Coronado, Miramar, Seal Beach, and El Centro, perhaps—haven’t been out to any of those places in a long while, but I can’t imagine that the old-time religion of abiding love of country, strong sense of duty and honor, the legacy of traditions and beliefs faithfully passed down from our Forefathers from generation to generation have all just quietly passed not just from existence but even from the memories of our young soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines. No way.

Then again, though, throw San Fransicko, San Berdoo, Compton, and Oakland into the mix with LA and it would probably be more than enough to tip the scales well back into Team Stalin territory and away from any more of that “democracy” nonsense for good.

Let’s not even go into the impact on this “democracy” discussion Cullyfornia’s military airfields; training bases; rifle, AGM, aerial bombing, and artillery ranges, as well as not-quite-as-venerable but every bit as proud, honorable installations such as Fort St George of Fentanyl, Camp Jordan Neely, and NAS “Bathhouse” Barry Soetero are likely to bring to bear when all’s said and done, ‘kay?

Former White House Physician Drops Truth Bombs About Biden’s Health Cover-Up
During an appearance on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures,” Rep. Dr. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas)—a man who served as White House physician for 14 years—dropped some major truth bombs that expose what may be the greatest constitutional crisis in modern American history.

Jackson is a doctor with 25 years of medical experience who witnessed the inner workings of multiple administrations firsthand. When he speaks about the cover-ups of Joe Biden’s cognitive decline, Americans should listen.

We’ve noted here at PJ Media that Biden brought Dr. Kevin O’Connor in as White House physician to help facilitate the cover-up of his cognitive decline, and Jackson believes this as well.

“Dr. O’Connor was his physician for eight years when he was vice president; he literally became part of the Biden family,” he said. But it gets worse. According to Jackson, O’Connor “was beloved by Jill Biden” and the Biden inner circle, developing such loyalty that “he would say or do anything that they ask him to do and cover up anything,” and that “they knew that they had somebody that could help cover up anything that might come up.”

This wasn’t about medical expertise—it was about ensuring silence.

Jackson warned that “we need to know, the American people need to know who was making decisions over those last four years. Who had access to that auto pen?”

The constitutional implications are staggering. As Jackson puts it, “If someone was running the country pretending to be the president of the United States and they weren’t, we need to know, and we need to make sure this never ever happens again.”

Best way to do that, of course, would be for Real Americans to hitch up their Big Boy britches, step up to the plate scaffold, and give their peers and like-minded colleagues most responsible for the Bribem Fiasco a real-time, up close and personal visual demonstration of what the phrase “pulling hemp” really, truly means. Failing that, we can only expect that this shit will go right on happening, again and again and again.

Like I said, it’s lies all the way down, and ever more brazen. But there is no bigger lie than that Joe Biden has ever been head of the executive branch: FDR was, albeit wheelchair-bound; Woodrow Wilson was, pre-stroke. But Joe was installed precisely because he was, as certain “niche Canadians” observed in 2021, the dead husk of a moth-eaten sock-puppet. There are approximately 8.2 billion people on the planet. We cannot say which of them was running the executive branch of the United States from January 2021 to January 2025 – Barack Obama? George Soros? Chairman Xi? Mabel Scroggins of 27b Town Dump Road, Dead Moose Junction? All we know for certain is that the one man among those 8.2 billion it surely wasn’t is Joseph Robinette Biden Jr.

Episcopal Church Refuses To Resettle White South African Refugees, Citing ‘Racial Justice’ Commitment
Episcopal Migration Ministries has long resettled refugees in the United States, but is now refusing to resettle white South Africans.

Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe announced the decision on behalf of Episcopal Migration Ministries on Monday, just a day after 49 South Africans began their journey to the United States.

Rowe went on to say that the organization, which has a long history of receiving federal grants to resettle refugees, will terminate their agreements with the government. “We have determined that, by the end of the federal fiscal year, we will conclude our refugee resettlement grant agreements with the U.S. federal government.”

President Donald Trump extended refugee status to white South Africans amid concerns that the minority group is being subjected to racial discrimination and has been scapegoated by politicians who’ve called for violence against them.

“South Africa is confiscating land, and treating certain classes of people VERY BADLY,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social in February. “It is a bad situation that the Radical Left Media doesn’t want to so much as mention. A massive Human Rights VIOLATION, at a minimum, is happening for all to see.”

The Trump administration announced an executive order just days later, offering white South Africans refugee status in the United States. The administration cited “hateful rhetoric and government actions fueling disproportionate violence against racially disfavored landowners,” as well as a new law that will “enable the government of South Africa to seize ethnic minority Afrikaners’ agricultural property without compensation.”

Controversy erupted after Julius Malema, a member of the National Assembly of South Africa, chanted “shoot to kill” and “kill the boer” at a political rally in reference to the Dutch South African population.

Funny, innit, how when it’s Whypeepuh being systematically stripped of their fundamental rights, possessions, and property; brutally beaten, raped, and murdered in job lots because reasons; and literally genocided by a vengeful, lawless government and the savage mobs it incites, Amerikan shitlibs seem to be either willfully blind to it, blandly indifferent, or actively in favor of it. South Africa black-owned farms ‘failing’
Some 90% of farms redistributed to South Africa’s black population from white farmers are not productive, the government has said.

Land reform minister Gugile Nkwinti warned the land might be repossessed if the farms continued to fail.

Rope, tree, federal judge: some assembly required

Jeb Boasberg, the chief judge of the D.C. District Court, sure has a knack for timing.

As the national conversation this week revolves around accusations the Trump administration is defying court orders by refusing to return an illegal El Salvadoran, er “Maryland father,” back to the U.S., Boasberg swooped in Wednesday afternoon with a lengthy opinion accusing the administration of “criminal contempt” for ignoring a set of orders he issued on March 15. (I first wrote about Boasberg’s contempt trap on March 19.)

In a series of hasty decisions that day, Boasberg, in another instance of fortuitous timing for foes of the Trump administration as I explained here, halted the deportation of illegal Venezuelans covered by the president’s Alien Enemies Act (AEA) proclamation, which Trump had been signed the night before. Boasberg issued two written temporary restraining orders—one prohibiting the deportation of five unnamed illegal Venezuelans represented in the lawsuit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union and another one turning the five plaintiffs into a class action suit protecting anyone in custody subject to the AEA.

Note the operative word in every one of these cases: illegal. As in, illegal aliens who entered this country illegally, remain here illegally except for those in prison as a consequence of their various illegal actions, thus have no right whatsoever to be here at all. “No human being is illegal,” eh shitlibs? Better ask John Wayne Gacy, DB Cooper, or Al Capone about that. Which, given the body counts racked up by a fair few of these immivaders, isn’t a particularly invidious comparison.

And during an emergency hearing held that Saturday evening, Boasberg also issued what he describes as an “oral command” at around 6:45 p.m. to return planes carrying the newly-designated class of illegals. “[Any] plane containing these folks that is going to take off or is in the air needs to be returned to the United States,” Boasberg told the Department of Justice attorney present at the hearing. “However that’s accomplished, whether turning around a plane or not embarking anyone on the plane or those people covered by this on the plane, I leave to you. But this is something that you need to make sure is complied with immediately.”

“Oral command.” Get a load of him.

The problem, as Boasberg appears to have known at that time, is that two planes carrying the AEA subjects had already departed and were out of U.S. territory. His “oral command” was impossible to obey or to enforce. (Complicating matters further is Boasberg did not include the “oral command” in his written order published about 40 minutes later.)

The alleged defiance of the two written orders—which were both vacated on April 7 by the Supreme Court after a majority concluded Boasberg’s courtroom was the wrong jurisdiction and the ACLU sought the wrong type of relief—and his “oral command” represent the basis of Boasberg’s contempt allegations. And Boasberg appears prepared to name a court-appointed attorney if the Trump DOJ refuses to bring charges against the yet-unidentified officials he accuses of contempt.

Trump damned well ought to treat this overreaching, officious prick with contempt; he’s about as contemptible as they come. Which, these days, is saying a helluva lot.

Boasberg’s 46-page opinion reads more like a petulant grudge against people who refused to bow to his sense of superiority rather than a cautious, reasoned judgement during a fraught time of conflict between the judiciary and executive branches of government.

Got that right, Jules. Worst part is, as we have seen again and again by now, there are all too many judges just like him out there. All of whom need to be brought up short, told to know their role and shut their hole. If that must come down to handing down a few long-distance, .308 caliber impeachments—well hey, I’m good with it, whatever it takes.

As I always like to say about power-drunk Progtards of every stripe, judges and non-judges alike: they won’t stop. They will NEVER stop. They will have to BE stopped. Yesterday wouldn’t be too soon to suit me. And one Donald John Trump might be just the guy to do it, I’m thinking.

‘Turns People Off’: James Carville Suggests It’s Time For Far-Left Dems To Show Themselves The Door
Democratic strategist James Carville suggested in a Tuesday video that far-left individuals should formally break away from the Democratic Party.

Among Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents, 45% would prefer the Democratic Party become “more moderate,” according to Gallup polling published in February. Carville, in a Politicon video, argued that far-left elements are hurting the party’s appeal and proposed “a schism” as a possible solution.

“The only thing I’d ask is just don’t use the word ‘Democratic’ in any title that you have, because most Democrats that I know that are running for office don’t want your name, don’t want you to be part of the deal,” Carville said. “Yeah, sure, they would be glad to take your votes. Who wouldn’t? Everybody wants to get as many votes as they can. Maybe you come up with your own name.”

Sorry to have to remind you, James ol’ buddy ol’ pal, but the stubborn fact is that 45% is NOT a majority—not even close, really—and I strongly suspect that this minority dwindles further each and every day. In Amerika v2.0, it’s the same old same old

WELL, that certainly didn’t take long.

The ‘Victim’ Saga of Karmelo Anthony Gets Better As Details Emerge About the ‘Minister’ Backing Him
Earlier this month, I reported the story of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf. Metcalf, a star standout football player in Texas, was attending a track meet that involved several area high schools competing. When 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony, a student from another school, came to sit in the area reserved for Metcalf’s school, Metcalf told him he was sitting in the wrong place. Anthony reached into a bag he was carrying and threatened Metcalf. Metcalf then pushed him to get him to leave. That was when Anthony pulled a knife out of the bag and fatally stabbed Metcalf. But now, as the story is being spun to portray Anthony as the victim, new information is coming out about one of his most ardent backers.

That supporter is Dominique Alexander. He is a self-proclaimed “minister” and activist. But for a supposed man of the cloth, he has a pretty sketchy and violent past that may throw a wrench into the “Anthony as the victim” narrative. The first incident involving Alexander took place in 2009 when he was arrested for causing serious bodily injury to a two-year-old child. He admitted to shaking the child but claimed the injuries were accidental. For that offense, he faced first-degree felony charges, but through a series of plea deals and probation, he did not serve any jail time.

Fuck Anthony, fuck Alexander, and fuck any and every other dad-blamed idjit who dares to claim “victim” status for this murdering nigger thug.

But when the race industry grifters smell an opportunity, you had better get out of the way. Almost immediately after the story came out, it took a sadly predictable turn. Supporters of Karmelo Anthony emerged, insisting that he was the true victim and there was even a wild story about how Austin Metcalf had bullied Anthony, who then acted in self-defense. 

Also maybe more than a bit predictable in a post-Black Lives Matter culture are not only the pictures of Karmelo Anthony in a suit and tie, putting a clean-cut face on the “victim” narrative, but also what the Anthony family did with the roughly $400,000 that has been raised on a GiveSendGo fundraiser page, presumably for “legal fees.” My colleague Bonchie reported that those fees were, in fact, not used for legal fees, but instead, the family has moved into a $900,000 home in a gated community. The next logical question has to be, does the good “Pastor” Alexander smell a big payday as the donations mount up?

Of COURSE he does. He’ll probably get himself a nice taste too, although maybe not as nice a one as he’d wish. Which reminds me of one I left out earlier: FUCK each and every dumbfuck, White or Black, who kicked in on this appalling, grotesque fundraiser.

So let’s review, shall we? 1) Worthless nigger shanks decent White kid with no real provocation, primarily due to the oft-seen, reliably deadly combination in Amerikan Neegrows of a) piss-poor impulse control, and b) innate tendencies to violence and/or mayhem; 2) Decent White Kid dies from injuries inflicted publicly, before numerous witnesses, for no good reason; 3) Mouthbreathing morons stampede to hit the Give Send Go fundie, leaving WN richer than his most avaricious dreams could’ve ever imagined; 3) Dr Right Reverend Minister Dom’i’niq’ue Sh’Kwanzelle Alexander smells what’s cooking, elbows his way in for a big ol’ slice of dat cash-money pie; 4) Kamelo “T-bone” Ant’ny and fam “move on up,” a la George and Weezy, to “a dee-luxe apaaahkmint” in a gated community, live happily ever after; 5) Austin Metcalf remains dead, and unavenged.

Ugh. Totally, totally sickening, that’s what. Then again, this is one sick, sick society we live in today; even a cursory look at the details of this story tells ya that much.

Firefly; Serenity; CAPT Malcolm Reynolds; the rest of the intrepid Firefly crew; the marvelously quirky, ear-catching dialogue (always struck me as pretty dang cool, how the Mother Tongue changed and evolved betwixt now and 2516; my first round of watching the TV show on DVD, I found myself needing to pay closer-than-usual attention when the characters were speaking or it would get by me altogether); the freewheeling philosophy of uncompromising liberty, independence, and individual self-determination which underpins the whole kit and kaboodle—all born of the creative genius, febrile mind, and artistic vision of Joss Whedon. The show and the movie both are bona fide gems: a stunning achievement of writing, casting, acting, SFX, and staging that would do even the most high-minded, talented dramatist proud indeed.

So can someone explain to me, then, just how it is that Whedon is nevertheless such a dyed in the wool, conventional-thinking liberal, please? Because quite frankly, I’m having big, big trouble getting that math to add up. I gotta confess I’ve always stunk out loud at math, so could be it’s just me, I dunno.

In any event, I mean, seriously now, you guys: the passage in bold above, and the standard-issue, Mark 1-Mod 0 Left/liberal flapdoodle approvingly, even mawkishly, cited at the above-linked Mother Jones (*shudder*) article/interview/fellatio-rama—all coming out of the SAME FUCKING MOUTH? RILLY?!?

I just don’t get it. Not all that sure I want to, to be perfectly honest. Greatly to his credit and in marked contrast with the dismal example set by his peers, Whedon doesn’t for a single second allow his mundane, wet-brained political beliefs to impinge on the Firefly and Serenity viewing experience. One can kick back, relax, and immerse oneself completely in the thrills, chills, and pleasures of the Firefly universe without ever once having to dread that you’re gonna be preached to at some point.

This, even though the character of preacherman Shepherd Book provides Whedon with what might easily be considered a purpose-built opportunity to ascend the pulpit and start in sermonizing. But no, nothing of the sort. Book spends most of his onscreen time questioning himself and his own wobble-legged faith rather than hectoring others about their own, although he does offer spiritual and/or moral advice to anyone who ask for such—carefully, thoughtfully, without passing judgment or scorning the foibles of his shipmates. Humble, questing, open-hearted, warm, a people-person if ever there was one—I always felt that Shepherd Book was one of the most appealing, engaging, and intriguing characters in a cast absolutely chock-full of ‘em.

So hats off to Joss Whedon for leashing the near-universal liberal bent towards proselytizing, if nothing else. As a professed congregant of the Left/liberal/Progressivist flock with a worldwide audience that’s bigger than most, rejecting such a powerful temptation must have been almost physically painful.

Another Trump Assassination Plot Foiled, but There’s a Bizarre Twist to This One
The left has become so consumed by its hatred of Donald Trump that it no longer seems capable of distinguishing right from wrong.

As chilling as this is, on Friday, we found out just how real the problem is. A man has been charged with making threats to assassinate President Trump, other U.S. officials, and ICE agents.

And where did they find this latest unhinged character? Butler, Pa., of all places. That’s right, the same town where the first assassination attempt on Trump took place.

Shawn Monper, a 32-year-old Butler resident who went by the charming username “Mr Satan” online, spent months posting explicit threats and detailing his preparations for violence.

Obviously not content with just threatening the president, Monper also set his sights on law enforcement.

“ICE are terrorist people, we need to start killing them,” he posted in March, followed by threats to open fire on ICE agents.

Attorney General Pamela Bondi praised law enforcement’s swift action, stating, “I want to applaud the outstanding and courageous investigative work of the FBI and the Butler Township Police Department, who thankfully identified and apprehended this individual before he could carry out his threats against President Trump’s life and the lives of other innocent Americans.”

Monper is currently being held without bail as he awaits preliminary hearings on April 14. Considering the gravity of his threats and the clear signs of premeditation, the justice system needs to send a strong message here: Political violence has no place in this country.

Au contraire, mon frère. Assuming that ever was so (HINT: it wasn’t), it certainly ain’t now. The hateful, insane Left elbowed out a place for political violence here a goodish while back, and they’ve been expanding and reinforcing it ever since.

As for the ironic “coincidence” of this whacko being in Butler, the FBI has probably set up a secluded, top-secret training camp for Trump-killers somewhere in the area by now, complete with barracks; a long-distance shooting range; leisure/entertainment center; mess tent; a medical facility staffed by “corpsemen” experienced in treating combat injuries—basically, everything the aspiring assassin needs to hone his skills to a razor-sharp edge.

Intolerable, immoral, unacceptable

Colorado Gov. Jared Polis Signs Insanely Unconstitutional Gun Control Law With Huge National Implications
If you care about preserving the Second Amendment, what just happened in Colorado needs to be on your radar.

On Thursday, Gov. Jared Polis signed a law that bans the production and most sales of semi-automatic firearms with detachable magazines. That means the gun control measure not only covers semi-automatic rifles like the AR-15 (which would be bad enough on its own) but also makes essentially all modern-day handguns illegal as well.

To say this is blatantly unconstitutional is an understatement. The Supreme Court ruled in District of Columbia vs. Heller that firearms in common use are protected under the Second Amendment for “traditionally lawful purposes.” That includes self-defense. Semi-automatic handguns and rifles with detachable magazines are the most commonly used guns in the United States. It’s not even a question that this gun control law runs afoul of Supreme Court precedent. That means that Polis signed something that he has to know is illegal, making this move all the more insidious.

The stakes here could not be higher. If Colorado gets away with this, you can kiss the Second Amendment goodbye. If a state gets away with largely banning semi-automatic handguns, it can get away with banning any type of firearm. This is the most radical gun control legislation to ever be signed, and it must be fiercely opposed.

Up to and including by violence, if needs must. And sooner or later, they will.

I understand there’s a lot going on in the political world right now, but this is that important. Gun advocate groups need to be filing challenges immediately, and this must get to the Supreme Court if the lower courts do not strike this law down. If that doesn’t happen, every single Democrat-led state in the union will pass similar laws, and with a lack of reciprocity, half the country will essentially be a no-go zone for modern guns. It won’t stop there, either. Gun control activists will not be happy until all firearms are banned.

Yeh, yeh, yeh—lawsuits, courts, peaceful protest, handwringing op-eds, blah blah blah.  Worth a try, of course; as every decent, well-meaning sort concedes, all peaceable expedients must be exhausted before turning to that final desperate resort: the Cartridge Box. At the end of the day, though, it’s yet another shovelful of the same old shite, nothing more.

Normals should think of this as the Left’s warning shot across the Constitutional bow, because that is precisely what it amounts to. The tyrant Polis knows this perfectly well, of course—count on it. Look for a flood of deceitfully-misnomered gun “buyback” programs (how can they “buy back” something they never bought in the first damned place?) to immediately ensue.

Look for the overwhelming majority of city and state po-lice to eagerly enforce the Gov Jared Polis Unlawful Edict™, with the possible exception of a handful of county Sheriiffs, or constables, or whatever they call ‘em out in the Boulder State. Look for the Colorado National Guard to be stood up to provide “emergency” backup for their Brothers In Blue. Look for the majority of said CO Guardsmen to forsake their freely-sworn oath to “protect, defend and uphold” and obey their unlawful orders, too.

The thing to keep (and bear—heh) foremost in mind here is that the last above-excerpted sentence is wholly true and accurate, which Real Americans have understood full well for several decades now in spite of the hoplophobic Left’s disingenuous “I’m a hunter myself” refrain. The one remaining question confronting us grows more pressing, more urgent, with every passing day: What, if anything, are we going to do about it?
