I have an AR and I love the thing all to pieces, albeit in a totes non-sexual way, of course. But this is the kind of AR I REALLY want to own.

Expert testifies that a single round from an AR-15 can sever the upper body from the lower body

We’ve heard a lot about the abilities of the AR-15. Last summer, NPR reported that bullets travel from the AR-15 with such velocity that they can decapitate an adult. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. informed us that a bullet from an AR-15 can liquify tissue and vaporize bone.

Now, as California’s Department of Justice weighs an assault weapons ban, Col. Craig Tucker has testified that a single round from an AR-15 “is capable of severing the upper body from the lower body, or decapitation.” Furthermore, it’s useless as a defensive weapon, except maybe when used to beat an attacker with it.

Uhhhh HUH. WELL, then, there you have it; The Science™ hath spaketh, nothing more to be said. Yet for some reason, the mouth is still moving.

Gee, I don’t know what we’d ever do without “experts” to look out for us and protect us from…whatthefuckever. But I sure hope someday we get to find out. Glenn snarks:

That’s nothing. I have some specialty AR15 rounds that actually travel back in time and kill your grandfather so that you’re never born at all. They’re a bit pricey, but worth it.

Okay, sign me up for some of those too.

Hate Of The Union

Once again, I didn’t bother with China Joe’s annual Hate Of The Union meat-beat, and you shouldn’t have either. Ace links to a good article laying out the jaw-slackening lies and distortions, if you’re into that sort of thing at all. But I ain’t, so I’ll limit my own editorial response to the following classic:

I think that about says all that really needs to be said, don’t you?

Update! The great Catturd says it for me.

You and me both, brother. You and me both. Via Dave Renegade.

Updated update! Perfect one-liner from the best Presidential press secretary of all time’s HOTU response: “The choice is between normal and crazy.” You really said a mouthful there, girl.

Grey matters

Nee-grows are low-IQ, prone to violence, primitive, and have poor impulse control. Yes, it’s all YOUR fault, Kemosabe.

Black children living in poverty face increased instances of stress and trauma that can alter their brain development, a new study found.

Researchers found that increased stressors like economic hardship and systemic racism play a significant role for Black children and can lead to the development of mental health issues as they age, the study said.

The stressors contribute to Black children having less gray matter in their brains, a byproduct of absorbing “toxic stress.” The study defines the stressors as “prolonged exposure to adverse experiences” that lead to excessive stress hormones and “disrupt the immune and metabolic regulatory systems.”

In the study, researchers found that Black children often developed behavioral problems later in life such as PTSD, anxiety and depression. These children also were susceptible to drug and alcohol abuse and suicide attempts and were likely to commit violence, the study said.

Black children showed lower amygdala, hippocampus, and PFC gray matter volumes compared with White children.

Bold mine, to highlight the way CNN just might be reversing cause and effect here, because reasons.

The hippocampus plays a number of crucial roles, including regulating emotions, motivation, hormonal activity, autonomic activity, and memory formation.

Probably the most well recognized function of the hippocampus is its role in learning and memory. Although the exact mechanisms remain somewhat mysterious, it is believed that the hippocampus receives and consolidates information, allowing for establishment of long-term memories in a process known as long-term potentiation (LTP). It also plays a role in spatial memory, allowing us to keep track of where things are, as well as where they are in relation to each other; as such, it is instrumental in the formation of cognitive maps.

There have been numerous reports linking tumors, lesions, and epileptogenic activity in humans within the hippocampus to aggressive reactions, ranging from minor hostility to explosive acts of violence. The hippocampus’ role in mediating aggression and rage appears to be dependant on the region of the structure that is stimulated: activation of the temporal pole, i.e. the region closest to the amygdala, stimulates predatory or fight behavior; while activation of the region closest to the septal pole instead suppresses those impulses.

If any of that behavior sounds at all familiar to you, then you are definitely a RAYCISS™ for sure. Divemedic finds CNN’s conclusions a tad sketchy.

I was with them on the other evidence. Yes, there is evidence that black children are likely to be poor, have incarcerated parents, and lower intelligence. I agree. What they are essentially saying is that blacks are poor, less intelligent, and more likely to be criminals than are whites, and that there is a biological and physiological basis for this. That’s exactly what I have been saying for years. What I have a problem with is the conclusion that is unsupported by any evidence presented by this so-called study- that it’s white people’s fault.

This seems like junk science with no control group and little in the way of actual, well, science. When I was a teacher, had one of my students turned in an unsupported conclusion like that one, it likely would have received a poor grade.

Hey, if it wasn’t for junk science, shitlibs would have no science at all to back up their politically-motivated arguments.

U.S. Tanks In Ukraine Already Destroyed After Being Easily Recognized By Their Rainbow Camouflage

UKRAINE — Mere hours after deploying 31 brand new U.S. M1 Abrams tanks, sources are now reporting all 31 of them have been destroyed by the Russians. Experts are attributing this to the fact that each of the 31 tanks featured rainbow camouflage that was easily visible to the enemy Russians.

“These tanks are state of the art, boasting the latest and greatest in firepower, mobility, and of course LGBTQ-affirming camouflage,” said Biden’s Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin. “The fact the Russians would dare fire upon our rainbow-printed tanks shows how hateful, bigoted and on the wrong side of history these Russians truly are.”

Well, c’mon, DUH. I mean, it’s Russians, ferchrissake. Everybody knows how THEY are.

Good show!

I know I said yesterday that the animal-rights whackjobs chaining themselves by their chicken-necks to an active conveyor belt was the feel-good story of the week, and I meant that too. But suddenly, a new contender has emerged.

In the vid, after his near-thing brush with becoming sticky red goo, one of the candidates for a Darwin Golden Achievement Award whimpers, “what’s wrong with that guy?” To which I respond: nothing whatsoever, roadkill. The only wrong thing here is you and your insufferably smug compadres, not the poor working stiff just trying to earn an honest, honorable, and entirely legal living for himself and his family, a thing I strongly suspect your ilk knows little if anything about.

Then comes the anguished bleat “HE’S A LUNATIC!!” Well, somebody certainly is, yeah. But it ain’t the truck driver; he’s had just about a bellyfull of your juvenile-delinquent bullshit, and decided he just wasn’t gonna put up with another second of it. Like the rest of us saner sorts are similarly fed up, and will have to show a little “activist” initiative of our own if we ever hope to be rid of you.

Indeed. Lately, it seems as if there’s another new Lord Of The Idiots title-seeker popping up every five minutes or so.

Lying, or just delusional?

With Pedo Joe, it’s damned near impossible to know for sure.

Joe Biden believes he is honest, and that anyone who disagrees with him is lying, or is ignorant, or has been deceived by liars.

So deeply convinced is Joe Biden of his own honesty that he thinks his very name is synonymous with truth-telling:

“I give you my word as a Biden: I will never stoop to President Trump’s level.”

— Nov. 20, 2019

“I give you my word as a Biden: If I am elected president I will do everything in my power to protect our children from gun violence.”

— March 10, 2020

“I give you my word as a Biden: When I’m president, I will lead with science, listen to the experts and heed their advice, and always tell you the truth.”

— March 18, 2020

When I first noticed him using this “my word as a Biden” phrase during the 2020 campaign, I was puzzled. Has the Biden family been so prominently associated with honesty that when Joe says this, most Americans say, “Well, that settles it”? Of course not. In fact, Biden’s first presidential campaign, in 1988, collapsed in disgrace specifically because of Joe’s dishonesty, when he was caught plagiarizing others — most notably British Labour leader Neil Kinnock — in his speeches.

Joe Biden lies about a lot of things, including his own biography. It is fair to say he is notoriously dishonest, and yet he seems to believe that nobody knows this, and that he enjoys a reputation as a truth-teller.

“My word as a Biden”? It is to laugh. And laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh.

Admissions of error

They seem to be going around of late.

The Biden Administration Finally Admits Its Mistake in Canceling the Keystone XL Pipeline

At long last, the Biden administration is admitting what experts have always known: reckless energy policies have disastrous consequences. This time, the Department of Energy quietly released a report highlighting the positive economic benefits of developing the Keystone XL pipeline from Canada, an energy project canceled by President Biden in the hours following his inauguration.

But the DOE’s report is a proverbial day late and a dollar short. The cancelation of the Keystone XL pipeline has already cost the United States thousands of jobs and billions in economic growth while families suffer under the weight of record high energy prices. It’s time for lawmakers to make American energy independence a top priority.

Released without a formal announcement, the DOE’s report points out that the pipeline would have created between 16,149 and 59,000 jobs and would have had an economic benefit of between $3.4 and 9.6 billion. That’s no small impact. Yet with one stroke of his pen, Biden slashed the project and instead focused his efforts on costly “green energy” goals. As a result of his executive action, 11,000 pipeline workers were promptly laid off and told to “go to work to make solar panels” instead.

But Biden’s green energy efforts are bound to backfire sooner rather than later. That’s because today, more than 70 percent of the energy produced and consumed in America comes from oil, gas and coal. That’s not likely to substantially change anytime soon. In fact, the International Energy Agency predicts that oil’s share of energy production in the United States will only fall 8 percent in the next two decades, from 31 to 23 percent. And that’s assuming a sustained commitment to green energy policies. The forecast spells bad news for the Biden White House. At his political peril, Biden ignores the lessons of Presidents Jimmy Carter and George H. W. Bush, who both lost elections due to spiked oil prices and accompanying recessions.

Oh, I’m beginning to suspect, strongly, that Old Joe is going to die of Suddenly™ well before the next sham “election” season rolls around. But Joe’s Folly isn’t the only mea culpa to be found out there.

Pro-Vaxx Dilbert Creator Scott Adams Admits Profusely “The Anti-Vaxxers Win”

Mark Twain is often misattributed as saying, “It’s easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.” The sentiment is definitely Twainesque, but he never said it. Nevertheless, it’s still true and demonstrable time and again in our post-truth society.

As more “normies” have started waking up to the reality that the Covid-19 “vaccines” are ineffective and dangerous, a lot are finding new ways of defending their decisions to get jabbed rather than admitting it was a mistake. Conservative comic Scott Adams, who is most famous for creating the Dilbert comics, is not one of those people. He’s now admitting that “anti-vaxxers won” in regards to their decision.

In fact, he admitted it over and over again.

“All of my fancy analytics got me to a bad place,” he said. “All of your heuristics — ‘don’t trust these guys’ is obvious — totally worked.”

Blindly trusting the US government and its horde of bought and paid-for faux “experts” never does work out too well, not for anybody.

Another crash ‘n’ burn

You may have noted pRetend “pResident” Pedo Joe’s mangling of Thomas Jefferson’s famed “Tree of Liberty” quote in this post from last night. Or maybe you didn’t, I dunno. But either way, it inspired me to try my hand at making a meme out of it—which didn’t turn out as well as I would’ve hoped, thanks to my complete lack of any real GIMP-fu.

In fact, it was such a struggle and took so long to produce even the sub-par result below that I very nearly went into my daughter’s room to do the thing on the now-retired iMac, which still has a working copy of P-shop on it from my days working for the magazines (the new-to-me iMac won’t run any Adobe products at all thanks to some legacy 32-bit code tucked away in ‘em somewheres, a fact that still astounds me no end).

Understand: GIMP is good software, don’t get me wrong, and Lord knows the price (free) is right. But the learning curve for someone that’s been using P-Shop and Illy since, oh, about 1998 or so has turned out to be steep indeed. The nomenclature describing various tools and their functions is very different, and some things—like, say, the “Stroke” option, among others—just aren’t there at all; they don’t exist in GIMP, near as I’ve been able to determine. Others, such as “Drop Shadow,” “Bevel and Emboss,” “Find Edges,” and various text effects work in quite unexpected ways.

So y’all will just have to cut me some slack with this piss-poor meme, if you can find it in your hearts to do so. I’ve definitely come a long way from where I was when I first tried GIMP out, but I still have a long, long way to go with it yet. On the other hand, if I was the kind of guy who could pass up a chance this good to poke fun at senile Grampy Gropey just because my GIMP skills fall far, far short of the ideal, then hey, you probably wouldn’t be reading this damned blog in the first place, now wouldja?

TJefferBiden web

A sleazy, two-bit con artist like Bribem really ought to keep the immortal Jefferson’s words out of his lying mouth anyhow. Funny, don’tchathink, how he left the word “tyrants” out, ain’t it?

Pick one, fool

Proving yet again that Pedo Joe knows not what he says. Or does, or…well, you name it, really.

Oops: Joe Biden Just Torpedoed the Left’s Entire Jan. 6 ‘Insurrection’ Narrative

As Rick Moran noted on Tuesday, Old Joe Biden just boasted again about how powerless patriots are against his all-powerful and increasingly authoritarian federal behemoth. Biden practically thumped his chest as he declared: “I love my right-wing friends who talk about” – and here he mockingly imitated their dramatic tones – “‘the tree of liberty is water of the blood of patriots.’ If you need to work about taking on the federal government, you need some F-15s. You don’t need an R– AR-15.”

Has any president in American history so delighted in taunting his citizens? And has anyone noticed how Biden, in a single mangled quip, just destroyed two years of the Left’s painstaking work in constructing the Jan. 6 “insurrection” narrative?

Biden’s quote from his “right-wing friends,” “the tree of liberty is water of the blood of patriots,” was, as Rick noted, a garbled version of Thomas Jefferson’s adage: “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants.” Biden was saying, of course, that in our age, such sacrifices were fruitless: the federal government is so powerful that it is unassailable, and so as its tyranny grows, unless patriots can somehow get hold of some fighter jets, they were out luck.

All right, Joe. Point taken. But wait a minute here. On Jan. 6, 2022, Biden stood in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building and said solemnly: “One year ago today, in this sacred place, democracy was attacked — simply attacked. The will of the people was under assault. The Constitution — our Constitution — faced the gravest of threats.”

Then on Jan. 6, 2023, he said it again: “Two years ago, on January the 6th, our democracy was attacked. There’s no other way of saying it. The U.S. Capitol was breached, which had never happened before in the history of the United States of America, even during the Civil War. A violent mob of insurrectionists assaulted law enforcement, vandalized sacred halls, hunted down elected officials — all for the purpose of an attempt to overthrow the will of the people and usurp the peaceful transfer of power.”

As we have come to expect from Joe Biden, none of this was true, not even the bit about how the U.S. Capitol had never before been breached in American history. Back in 1814, just before Old Joe entered the Senate, the British burned the Capitol building. Then in 2007, Biden told David Letterman that he himself had breached it, accidentally, at age 21 (which was in 1963, kids, 59 years ago).

Biden claimed fancifully that he wandered into the Senate chamber: “In those days, no guards stopping you everywhere. And they just got out of session. I walked in the back, all of the sudden I found myself in the chamber. I was stunned. I walked up, sat down in the presiding officer’s seat, guy grabbed by the shoulder, said: ‘you’re under arrest.’” Joe is well-established as a serial liar, so this story is best taken with a massive amount of sodium and serves as a reminder that the alleged president can by no means be taken at his word.

That’s doubly true for his nonsense about how the defenders of “our democracy” on Jan. 6, 2021 were “outnumbered and in the face of a brutal attack,” but nonetheless, “our democracy held. We the people endured. And we the people prevailed.” The Jan. 6 protesters were not armed. Was there ever really any possibility that they would actually overcome the combined force of, as Joe enumerates them, “the Capitol Police, the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department, the National Guard, and other brave law enforcement officials”? They had no leader (with the highly questionable exception of Ray Epps), no plan, no goal, no weapons. They were let into the Capitol by police officers who held the doors open for them.

Which is where they fucked up; next time around, they’ll need to correct that grievous error. You simply don’t go in to beard the lion in his very den without arming up first, and there were enough patriots on hand that day that, had they been carrying AR15s, the outcome would have been very, very different.

Second look at the decision to come forward and contact 5-0, perchance?

Houston activists say ‘vigilante killer’ who shot robbery suspect should be charged

Fret not, he’s gonna be.

Several community activists showed up at the taqueria and said the man who shot and killed 30-year-old Eric Washington went beyond self-defense.

That’s not for anyone who wasn’t there to say, in a just and sane world. Unfortunately, this is NOT that world.

HOUSTON — Several community activists gathered Sunday at the southwest Houston taqueria at which a robber was shot and killed earlier this month.

Annnnnd here we go.

They said the shooting went “beyond self-defense” and also characterized it as “a cold-blooded execution.”

Because of COURSE they did.

While some are calling him a hero, this group wants the shooter to be criminally indicted.

“We must not allow citizens to become judge, jury and executor,” the group, which consisted of Dr. Candice Matthews (Texas Coalition of Black Democrats/Rainbow/PUSH Coalition/New Black Panther Nation), Quanell X (New Black Panther Nation), family members of the deceased and other civil rights organizations, said in a statement.

Quanell X said the group is not condoning the actions of 30-year-old Eric Eugene Washington and said he was wrong for robbing the store. They said he deserved to be punished and sent to jail — but not killed.

“He went too far,” Quanell X said. “That’s overkill. That’s no longer self-defense.”

Yo, Quanzan’ell’a’Shontavious XXX, wuzzup wid dis shizzle ’n’ sheeeit, please tell me: has your precious, newly-room-temperature Feral Dindu™ robbed, asssaulted, or murdered anybody since he fucked around and found the fuck out? Take your time, I’ll wait.

They’re calling for the shooter to be charged with something. Quanell X said he’s not sure what that charge should be.

“That man went from being a law-abiding citizen to now committing criminal acts and criminal crimes. We believe … I believe that he should be charged with something because we cannot have a society where our citizens are judge, jury and executioner,” Quanell X said.

“Criminal crimes.” No, really. This superdupergenius seems to have actually said that.

“He stood over the young man and shot him multiple times over and over again when he was no longer a threat,” Quanell X said. “I know for a fact that this was not just a simple act of a good citizen defending himself. There was no justification to walk up on him and put multiple shots, then leave with the weapon and come back and shoot him in the head again. That’s too much.”

I very much doubt you could truthfully be said to know anything whatsoever “for a fact.” From the sound of it, you don’t enjoy so much as a nodding acquaintance with the word “fact.”

Yep, Righteous Shooter is well and truly fucked now, putting his fate into the stinking paws of these damn dirty apes. As I said over at Bill’s joint: wonder if the first night of the impending nationwide riots will have any impact on the thinking of the mostly-Neegrow jury at all?

Talking sense to Woke

I’ve seen the vid recommended several places but didn’t watch it, hoping some sort of at least partial transcript might eventually become available. Well, one has.

Comedian Konstantin Kisin’s Oxford Debate Speech Was Epic, Signaling That WOKE May Finally Be Going, ‘Bye, Bye’

Konstantin Kisin is a satirist, podcaster, author and political commentator and on his “Triggernometry” podcast, he and his co-host Francis Foster focus on these subjects, as well as the WOKE culture that has overtaken the Western world.

At 40, Kisin is an early Millennial (or Xennial, as they are now being categorized). So, he has lived some life, had a taste of career success, and has a family. Some of the things that indicate that your views on how life and the economy works is not merely theoretical. Kisin also was born in Russia and emigrated to Europe, domiciling in Great Britain. So, he has not always benefited from living in the Western petri dishes where WOKENESS germinates and takes hold.

Which is what makes him, and this debate speech he gave at The Oxford Union Society so compelling. The Oxford Union is a membership club that encourages debate among its members as well as celebrity, political, and guest speakers. Kisin was debating, Resolved: Has Woke Culture Gone Too Far? And Kisin’s epic counter response is the reason this video is getting so much play.

Kisin started his treatise by expressing that he is tired of talking about WOKE culture and its targeted attacks to destroy freedom of speech, as well as its false flag operations to create “equity,” which is merely racism in a cheap jacket:

“I am so tired of talking about Woke culture. That’s why it’s gone too far more than anything else.

[…]

“No, No, Free speech is not some right-wing reframing of whatever, it’s the foundation of Western civilization. Upon which this civilization is built and the alignment values that led to it.

“The only way to deal with the problem of racism is to treat people on the content of their character. And nothing else. And the fact that WOKE culture seeks to overturn that is a new form of racism that we must all oppose.”

Kisin warned that we will destroy ourselves if we continue to allow this erosion of our culture and our confidence in Western values.

Then Kisin turned his focus on Climate Change, directing his speech toward Millennials and Gen Z—at least the ones who he felt might be, “open to rational argument.” Although he knew he was speaking to young people who honor their feelings above any rational truth, Kisin made this fact-based point.

“[Climate Change will be decided] by poor people in Asia and Latin America who don’t care about saving the planet—because they’re poor.”

Kind of hard being concerned about the future of the planet, when your future only extends to your next meal.

More at the link, all of it good.

BIZARRE BEHAVIOR: Dazed Biden Stares into Space for 45 Seconds as Reporters Scream Questions

A visibly dazed-and-confused Joe Biden stared into space for 45 seconds Tuesday as reporters screamed questions about his mishandling of classified documents.

“Mr. President??? What about the documents?” yelled one journalist.

“Any comment about the classified material?” asked another.

What an embarrassment he is.
