Your Job Is to Push the Yes Button
the secretaries make the game clear

A gaggle of former Secretaries of the Treasury — Robert Rubin, Lawrence Summers, Timothy Geithner, Jacob Lew and Janet Yellen — warn in the New York Times today that the President of the United States is interfering with the operations of the executive branch. No, really. It remains entirely true that warnings about the threat to “Our Democracy” are, in fact, warnings about the threat to Our Bureaucracy.

Five people who’ve served at the top levels of the federal government can’t produce one clear and reasonable premise between them. After a bunch of throat clearing, the fourth paragraph begins the actual attempt at an argument:

The nation’s payment system has historically been operated by a very small group of nonpartisan career civil servants. In recent days, that norm has been upended, and the roles of these nonpartisan officials have been compromised by political actors from the so-called Department of Government Efficiency. One has been appointed fiscal assistant secretary — a post that for the prior eight decades had been reserved exclusively for civil servants to ensure impartiality and public confidence in the handling and payment of federal funds.

The administrative state is impartial, honest, accurate, and pure. “Civil servants” are good; political people are bad. But this is how Article II begins: “The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America.” Our entire system of government is premised on the authority of people who, having been elected to office, are accountable to be the people of the country for their choices. A function of government that “has historically been operated by a very small group of nonpartisan career civil servants”: not present in the Constitution. Prove otherwise, if you’d like to try. Show me the authority of that “very small group of nonpartisan career civil servants” in Article II, and tell me exactly where to find it.

Five former senior government officials, feeling themselves wonderfully virtuous, have casually upended the entire American system of government without noticing that they’ve done it. Dire warning: The President of the United States is acting like he’s in charge of the executive branch.

Shocking, innit? Matt Margolis has a meme which explains this strange phenomenon.

‘Nuff said.

The plain, simple, and wholly obvious Truth

Ohh, shitlib D卐M☭CRATs (BIRM) ain’t gonna like this. Not a-TALL, they ain’t.

Jeremiad To The Democrats The First: Abandon The Fucking Idiot Transsexual Woke Bullshit
All of it.

ALL. OF. IT.

That’s going to be the overarching lesson for the first few of these. But because there’s so much social justice bullshit, I’m going to have to break these lessons up to cover different types of social justice warrior bullshit.

Lesson the First: Abandon your transsexual madness.

  • Cut out all the transsexual bullshit. Sex is not a social construct. There are two sexes, male and female. If you have XY chromosomes, you are male. If you have XX chromosomes, you are female. A man cannot make himself into a woman by any means, and certainly not by simply declaring he’s a woman. Stop pretending otherwise. Stop pretending that “gender” is “fluid.” Stop pretending that a few odd genetic corner cases give you permission to pretend a man wearing a dress is a woman. Stop enabling mental illness. We’re not playing anymore.
  • Get your fucking child-mutilating hands off children. If you insane, mentally ill perverts want to mutilate your own damn body, fine. Not my circus, not my monkeys. But when you start mutilating the genitalia of children and start sterilizing children for life, fuck you and every one of your virtue-signaling comrades and expect to lose every election between now and the heat death of the universe.
  • Stop putting men pretending to be women into women’s prisons. Democrats go to great lengths to assure the public they’re against rape, but when it comes down to preventing rape or enabling their virtue signaling, Democratic prison officials across the country have decided they’re just fine and dandy with rape. Just as with UK’s Labour government being just fine with systemic child rape of British women by unassimilated Muslim immigrants in the Rotherham et. al. scandals being an acceptable price to pay for more “multicultural” voters, so too the Democratic Party seems to think repeated rape of incarcerated women by male felons claiming to be woman is necessary for the greater glory of “social justice.”
  • Stop asking government to pay for “sex change operations” for illegal aliens and convicted felons. Remember how Kamala Harris’ promise to pay for sex changes for illegal aliens in 2020 came back to bite her in the ass in 2024. Like I said, if you freaks want to pay to mutilate yourself, we don’t give a rat’s ass. But when ordinary people are having trouble paying for food because of the lingering inflation from the Biden Recession, they get angry when you use their tax dollars to pay for idiot virtue-signaling bullshit. Ditto Julian Castro’s absurd pimping of “transgender abortion.”
  • Cut out the bullshit euphemisms. Mutilating a child’s genitalia isn’t “gender affirming care,” it’s evil perversion we will hold you to account for performing. Likewise:
  • Stop pretending that refusing to indulge in the mentally ill delusion that someone is a different sex than the one they were born with is “literally killing them.” “Do what I say or I’ll kill myself” has never been a morally acceptable threat, and studies show that mutilating people in the name of “gender affirming care” doesn’t decrease the risk of suicide. Quite the opposite: “The results of this study indicate that patients who have undergone gender affirmation surgery are associated with significantly higher risks of suicide, self-harm, and PTSD compared to general population control groups.”

Annnnd KABOOM! Nailed it, clean and tight. THEY ain’t gonna like it, but I most certainly do—not that they’ll heed a word of it, much less listen. Which, y’know, is kinda tough to do anyhow with fingers jammed in each ear as you sing TRALALALALA at top volume till your throat is raw and your face is turning blue. Yet more rich, buttery goodness over at the Battleswarm hang.

Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee

Glenn helpfully explains where the wrecking ball comes into the picture.

Trump is following through with unprecedented and swift action to begin his presidency – which has reset the national mood
Soon after November’s election, I suggested that if Donald Trump were smart, he’d come in like a wrecking ball: Move fast, break things and precipitate change across many fronts all at once, subjecting the Democrats, the media and the left (but I repeat myself) to shock and awe.

Boy, has he ever done that, unleashing unprecedented change in just his first 100 hours.

He banned DEI throughout the federal government, closed the borders to illegal immigrants (according to Customs and Border Protection, illegal crossings dropped 97% by Trump’s second day in office), halted government censorship efforts, refocused the Defense Department from social issues to warfighting, and started a massive cleanup at the corrupt Department of Justice.

Follows, a most edifying litany of Trump moves, directives, and initiatives, culminating with:

A week or two ago, all these things seemed too hard to accomplish.

Now they’re simply being done

Oh, there’s resistance: The Air Force announced that as part of Trump’s DEI ban it would stop teaching cadets about the Tuskeegee Airmen scandal, an act of obvious bad faith designed to grab headlines.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who knows whereof he speaks, rightly called this “political theatrics” and “passive-aggressive performative nonsense . . . It’s all an act.”

It is an act, and the actors should be sacked.

Indeed they should, in fact, MUST—every man Jack of them, lest this nascent movement in all the right directions be kilt a-borning.

But that they’re trying this sort of idiocy is proof that they’re flailing and desperate. Trump has the momentum.

One reason for this, of course, is that things like the DEI ban and immigration enforcement are wildly popular.

The American public has never supported affirmative action or open borders.

Those are policy preferences of the elites, who bullied opponents by calling them racist.

That doesn’t work anymore.

Nor should it. May it ever be thus.

Joy!

Genuine, heartfelt joy, REAL joy, that is. Look close, Kumala, so’s you’ll always know it when you see it from now on.

‘This Is What Victory Feels Like!’ Musk Gives Epic Victory Speech
Elon Musk delivered a powerful speech following the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump, celebrating the event as a new chapter for both America and the future of human civilization. His words resonated with a sense of purpose and excitement that reflected a vision of progress grounded in core American values. Musk’s speech was a testament to his belief in the power of the people and the transformative potential of technology and innovation.

“Yes! This is what victory feels like!” Musk opened with an exuberant declaration, setting the tone for what would be a speech filled with energetic praise for the people who had made this moment possible. “This was no ordinary victory,” he said. “This was a fork in the road of human civilization.”

Musk quickly highlighted the importance of this particular election, emphasizing its unique impact. “You know, there are elections that… come and go,” he noted. “Some elections are, you know, important; some are not. But this one, this one, this one really mattered.”

In a heartfelt moment, in which you could tell Musk was overcome with emotion as he thanked the audience for its role in this pivotal victory, he acknowledged the collective effort that made it happen: “I just want to say thank you for making it happen. Thank you.”

Musk’s vision for the future was centered around a safer, more secure America. “It is thanks to you that the future of civilization is assured,” he told the crowd. “Thanks to you, we’re going to have safe cities, finally! Safe cities, secure borders, sensible spending, basic stuff.”

A moment of humor and excitement followed as Musk announced a bold new goal: taking Dogecoin to Mars. “And we’re going to take DOGE to Mars,” he exclaimed. “I mean, can you imagine how awesome it will be to have American astronauts plant the flag on another planet for the first time? Yeah. How inspiring would that be?”

While Musk acknowledged the inevitable challenges ahead, he stressed the need for inspiration in the face of those obstacles. “There’s always… problems in life. You know, this problem, solved that problem, solved that problem,” he said. “But, you know, there need to be things that inspire you. There needs to be things that make you glad to wake up in the morning and say, ‘I’m looking forward to the future.’”

“And let me tell you, I’m gonna work my a** off for you guys, so. I really will. I really will.”

Elon’s ebullience, his sheer uncontainable enthusiasm, was written all over his face throughout the speech. So naturally the shitlibs couldn’t stop themselves from stepping in to shit all over it, as is their usual wont.

The supposed “fascist salute,” a ludicrous notion on the very face of it, comes in when Elon grabs his chest, yells “My heart goes out to you!” and then makes a gesture to indicate throwing his heart out to the crowd in appreciation of their support. Which leads me to hope that Trump will see his way clear to defunding the Government Television sewer rats, soonest.

MOAR persecution

The man literally saved NYC—I know, I was there, I watched him do it—and they’re never gonna forgive him for it.

Rudy Giuliani found in contempt of court — again — for defaming Georgia election workers
For the second time this week, a judge has found Rudy Giuliani in contempt of court in a case involving two Georgia election workers he baselessly claimed committed election fraud in 2020.

Washington, DC, federal Judge Beryl Howell sided with lawyers for Shaye Moss and Ruby Freeman, finding that Giuliani violated the judge’s “unambiguous” prior ruling barring the former New York City Mayor from continuing to defame the two women, according to reporting by The Hill.

On Monday, a Manhattan federal judge similarly held Giuliani in contempt of court, on the grounds that he was trying to “run out the clock” to avoid paying Freeman and Moss a $148 million defamation verdict they won in 2023.

Howell chided Giuliani – President-elect Donald Trump’s one-time personal lawyer who was once regarded as “America’s Mayor” – for using his fame to tarnish the duo with “fabricated lies.”

“You’re the most famous person in this courtroom right now, you’ve got a bigger audience, you’ve got a bigger public following than anyone in this courtroom,” the judge said.

“I really hoped we were done,” the judge said.

Earlier, Michael Gottlieb, a lawyer for Moss and Freeman, told Howell they didn’t want to be back in court but said his clients just want “Mr. Giuliani to stop defaming them,” according to a report by NBC News.

He requested that Giuliani be fined $20,000 for every time he continued to defame the women even after Howell ordered an agreement promising he wouldn’t do so anymore.

Gottlieb specifically requested that the fines come from money that has been deemed off-limits — including an IRA account.

Giuliani’s lawyer, Eden Quainton, claimed a $20,000 fine per violation would be “excessive.”

“Defamed” the two corpulent nigger “election” thieves? Told the God’s honest truth about ’em, more like. Something is rotten in the American “justice” system, and it stinks to high, high heaven.

Ted Goodman, Giuliani’s political advisor, claimed Giuliani wasn’t able to sufficiently defend himself in the original defamation suit.

“This contempt ruling is designed to prevent Mayor Giuliani from exercising his constitutional rights,” Goodman said.

Annnnd BINGO, nailed it in one.

Update! Meant to mention it before and let it get by me, but I have to say the endless, droning repetition of this “baseless” propaganda is really beginning to work my nerves. Good as they frequently are, as iconoclastic and against-the-grain as they’ve long prided themselves on being, one might expect the NY Post to do better than the wearisome, manifestly dishonest “baseless” canard. And yet.

“Baseless,” is it? CLUE TO THE CLUELESS: the evidence that the 2020 “election” was fraudulent stem to stern is voluminous, credible, and overwhelming. Anybody who claims not to know that at this late stage of the game is either 1) a fully-paid-up member of Team Steal; 2) not paying attention; 3) a hopeless imbecile; or 4) shouldn’t be allowed access to sharp objects, power tools, and/or heavy machinery unless under the close supervision of a competent, responsible adult.

Carbon fact vs fiction

Originally intended to run this meme in tomorrow’s Memezapoppin’ edition, but it merits its own main-page post, I think.

Telling, no? Now, I just happen to know right offhand what the amount of CO2 in Earth’s mostly nitrogen/oxygen atmosphere is: a whopping .03 percent. Or .04%, depending on who or what the source is. That being so, the contention that even quadrupling or quintupling it would have any noticeable affect on life as we know it looks even more absurd than it already did. Therefore I commend to your attention another of Mike’s Iron Laws, #149 this time.

Update! Man oh man, those MILs sure have come in mighty useful, haven’t they? Makes me damned pleased and proud I came up with the idea, I must say. The way things are going, looks like I’ll have reasons aplenty to add a bunch of new ones in the days ahead. Reminds me that I have another post I’ve been working on that I really need to finish and get up which in its way reinforces the notion of this websty being a fairly decent resource.

Insurrection v2.0: It’s different when THEY do it

It’s all bullshit, of course, albeit fairly entertaining bullshit.

The Left Is Pushing Congress for an Insurrection on Jan. 6, 2025
Remember how Democrats were outraged — Outraged! — that some Republicans objected to the counting of the Electoral College votes back in 2021 over concerns that voter fraud tipped the election results to Joe Biden in key battleground states? The very idea of disputing the election results was seen as blasphemy and anti-democratic.

Yet the left is once again pushing for Congress to block Donald Trump from taking office, despite his overwhelming victory in 2024.

Evan Davis, the former editor-in-chief of the Columbia Law Review, and David Schulte, the former editor-in-chief of the Yale Law Journal, argue in a joint column in The Hill that Congress not only has the power to block Trump from taking office but should.

Their column doesn’t cover much new ground. It references Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which disqualifies individuals who have engaged in insurrection from holding office, despite the fact that Trump did no such thing. Heck, he hasn’t even been charged with such an offense, and when you consider the fact that rogue left-wing prosecutors have charged him with all sorts of made-up crimes, that says something.

Disqualification is based on insurrection against the Constitution and not the government. The evidence of Donald Trump’s engaging in such insurrection is overwhelming. The matter has been decided in three separate forums, two of which were fully contested with the active participation of Trump’s counsel.

The first fully contested proceeding was Trump’s second impeachment trial. On Jan. 13, 2021, then-President Trump was impeached for “incitement of insurrection.” At the trial in the Senate, seven Republicans joined all Democrats to provide a majority for conviction but failed to reach the two-thirds vote required for removal from office. Inciting insurrection encompasses “engaging in insurrection” against the Constitution “or giving aid and comfort to the enemies thereof,” the grounds for disqualification specified in Section 3.

Davis and Schulte also cite the Colorado judicial hearing where a partisan court found Trump to have engaged in insurrection, which the U.S. Supreme Court eventually overturned. They really jump through a lot of hoops to give the appearance of a solid legal foundation for their argument.

Not only is the foundation of their argument weak, but they’re relying on partisan cases that all failed. They’re calling on Democrats to do exactly what was once considered an unprecedented attack on democracy, which not only undermined the will of the voters but also subverted the entire electoral process. The authors insist that it’s not okay to have doubts about an election where the Democrat was declared the victor, yet it is more than okay to use bogus arguments to prevent a Republican from taking office.

Then BRING IT, shitlib stupes. If you lackwits truly do want a Civil War v2.0—which to all appearances you do, you pus-nutted skinbags—I can’t think of a more sure-fire way of setting the already-short fuse on that particular powderkeg alight than something along these lines. Beats a book of those flimsy cardboard Diamond matches all to Hell and gone; half the time you can’t get so much as a feeble spark from those useless things anyhow, even when you try to strike two or three of ‘em in one go. As I’ve grown fond of saying re gun confiscation, stop running your fat, dried-semen-encrusted yaps and just DO IT awready.

Lord knows there’s no point whatsoever in trying to talk to people who flatly refuse to listen, hold Our Side in contempt, and deeply loathe not just We The People but everything we stand for as well. From what I’m seeing and hearing more and more of with every passing day, there’s a surprisingly substantial and steadily growing contingent of rough and ready, well-equipped, fed-up-to-the-eyeteeth Real Americans out there who very much look forward to stacking shitlib corpses like cordwood and just be done with the whole sorry mess.

And in light of all the hateful, hurtful things that have been done to and said of those true-blue Americans over the past five-ten years, the vile insults and predations they’ve had to endure and somehow bear up under, who can blame them for the fiery rage in their burning hearts? For the implacable desire to see themselves and their compatriots avenged at long, long last deeply inculcated in them by their uncaring tormentors?

They have had their rights and liberties rescinded, their dignity besmirched, their self-respect defiled. Their religious beliefs have been ridiculed as the ignorant superstition of grunting, knuckledragging primitives, the Deity they devoutly worship derided as “their nonexistent Sky God.” Their children have been taught to despise them and all their works as fiendish transgressions against Nature itself, self-evidently inferior to the myriad achievements of the self-proclaimed Enlightened. Their culture has been undermined, their values and traditions denounced as unjust and ill-intentioned, the uniquely successful society they and their forebears laboriously built over many generations rejected out of hand as exploitive, wasteful, and “unsustainable.”

And to cap it all off, they must now look on in stunned disbelief as their avowed enemies use the selfsame Constitution those enemies have for years griped was an archaic product of a less-civilized era, incomprehensibly written by a bunch of poorly-educated, overly wealthy male(!) slave owners(!!) in powdered wigs(!!!)—good enough for those lunkheads, perhaps, but completely irrelevant and inapplicable to our more advanced, modern world—for the purpose of unseating a duly-reelected President they don’t happen to like, against the clearly-expressed will of Serf Class oafs who have gotten above themselves and badly need to be reminded of their proper station by their self-proclaimed Betters.

Reluctant though I am to have to say such a terrible thing, as time ticks ever onwards the Hobbesian bellum omnium contra omnes looks more and more inevitable. So let’s get it the fuck on for reals, then. We’ll see how it works out for ‘em when all’s said and done.

Update! Always remember: just because the Left has been resoundingly defeated does NOT mean that they can be expected to give up, give in, or reconsider their lunatic positions. Far from it, it’s just not in their nature. For more on this, I refer you to Mike’s Iron Laws nos 873 and 24.

Oh, and speaking of resounding defeats, you just gotta love this:

Since Trump was successfully certified as the winner yesterday, I wanted to post something that I found humorous. The left was making all kinds of noise about an end run around the electoral college by signing on to the interstate compact, which is a deal cut between the leftie states that they will award their electoral votes to the candidate that wins the national popular vote. The compact goes into effect once the states signing on to it are equal to more than 209 electoral votes, so they aren’t quite there yet.

Had that compact been enacted, the electoral vote would have been the largest landslide in American history. The only state that went for Harris and was not a part of the compact was New Hampshire and its 4 electoral votes.

This means that Trump would have won by a margin of 534 to 4, or 99.25% of the total number of electoral votes.

I just can’t stop laughing over Divemedic’s last line, it’s too much. As I always say, some of us live and learn, then some of us just live, and never learn.

Ready for a REAL insurrection?

Julie Kelly certainly is.

January 6, 2025: The Real Insurrection Begins
The original Jan 6 narrative died in spectacular fashion. Monday’s proceedings represent the start of a legitimate insurrection against a corrupt, unaccountable, and failed government in Washington.

It’s a plot twist even the most creative—or diabolical—fiction writer never would have imagined.

On Monday afternoon, Vice President Kamala Harris will preside over Congressional proceedings to certify the election of Donald Trump, who defeated her in the 2024 presidential election.

The moment will represent one of many surreal moments on a date—January 6—that the Biden regime, news media, and Democratic voters consider one of the darkest times in American history. In fact, Harris herself categorizes January 6, 2021 alongside September 11, 2001 and December 7, 1941 as events she claims “remind all who have lived through them where they were…when our democracy came under assault.”

Four years ago, the ruling class in Washington attempted to commit what all evidence now points to as the premeditated murder of the MAGA movement. Powerful political and government saboteurs aligned to stoke the events of January 6, a four-hour disturbance those same saboteurs immediately branded an “insurrection.”

But it all came crashing down on November 5, 2024.

Trump won in decisive fashion as the majority of Americans sent a big middle finger tied to a wrecking ball to the halls of power in Washington. The failures of the Biden regime unquestionably contributed to Trump’s victory but so too did the relentless pursuit of the president, his family, his allies, his businesses, and his voters.

The January 6 operation backfired in a spectacular way. Instead of representing one of the darkest days in history, January 6 to millions of Americans instead embodies the corrupt, bloodthirsty, and vengeful nature of the existing government and its media bootlickers, which foreshadowed the sort of banana republic-style rule seen in Marxist hellholes not in the United States.

So Monday, January 6, 2025 signals the start of a real insurrection, which is defined as a “revolt against civil authority or an established government” not an unarmed and at points unruly demonstration inside a government building on a Wednesday afternoon.

Should Trump fulfill his boldest campaign pledges, federal agencies in the nation’s capital will never be the same. Permanent changes in now untrusted institutions such as the DOJ, the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security and, sadly, the Department of Defense among others promise to gut the rogue, unelected bureaucracy that really runs the show.

The Trump Insurrection already is paying dividends as employees flee agencies soon to be led by sworn foes of the Deep State. Chris Wray resigned ahead of his scheduled ten-year tenure as FBI boss.

Lots more yet at the link, all of it thoroughly gratifying reading. We can but hope that things shake out as Jules anticipates; t’is a consummation devoutly to be wished, certainly. My own skepticism and cynicism remain more or less intact, albeit not as firm as they were. Just between us chickens, I got one hand behind my back, fingers crossed. We’ll find out soon enough, I reckon.

Rueful Teixeira

Yes, he’s a lifelong D卐M☭CRAT, but he nonetheless does seem to have at least some sense—against all odds, expectations, and precedent.

Voters Sent Democrats a Clear Message. They Don’t Want to Hear It.
Many senior Democrats have decided to ignore the fact that the party is out of touch on a range of cultural issues like race, gender, and immigration.

In the wake of the Democrats’ drubbing at the hands of Donald Trump and the GOP, you’d assume the party would be all-in on a fundamental rethink, starting with some serious soul-searching on how the party came to be so out of sync with the majority of America on key cultural questions.

Questions like: Is America a “white supremacist” society? Is it racist to question levels of immigration? Are citing one’s personal pronouns necessary? Is anyone who questions the differences between trans women from biological women a bigot who should be expunged from polite society? For each of these questions, the answer for the overwhelming majority of Americans is an obvious no. But in elite Democratic circles, it’s a different story. For a party pondering its unpopularity, you might think that this gap would be a good place to start.

Well, if the six weeks since the election is anything to go by, you’d be wrong. Instead, much of the party is maneuvering to change as little as possible on the cultural front. Why? Because many of today’s Democrats are culture denialists. That is, they do not consider cultural issues to be real issues. Instead, they see them as fictions, distractions, or expressions of bigotry that are to be opposed, not indulged.

Consider Greg Casar, the new chair of the powerful Congressional Progressive Caucus. In a recent interview with NBC News, Casar urged the Democrats to “re-emphasize core economic issues every time some of these cultural war issues are brought up.” He said that “when we hear Republicans attacking queer Americans again, I think the progressive response needs to be that a trans person didn’t deny your health insurance claim, a big corporation did—with Republican help.” Casar said that “the Republican Party obsession” with culture war issues is “driven by Republicans’ desire to distract voters and have them look away while Republicans pick their pocket.”

Massachusetts Democratic representative Jim McGovern echoed Casar’s thoughts recently with this rhetoric about Republicans: “They want to blame trans people? Guess what? Trans people aren’t the ones raising people’s grocery prices. Big corporations are.” Republicans, he added, “want to blame immigrants…Immigrants aren’t the ones denying health insurance claims…it’s the billion-dollar insurance companies that do that.”

Get it? These aren’t real issues. They’re just distractions ginned up by Republicans for nefarious political purposes. The logical conclusion of this argument is that Democrats don’t need to actually change their position on any “culture war” issue. Instead, they just need to change the subject and talk about mustache-twirling corporate villains.

If the Democrats’ liability on a range of cultural issues is so clear, why do so many party members refuse to admit the obvious problem?

Part of the answer is a fear of “the groups”—the advocacy nonprofits that push so many of these radical policies. (Harris stated her support for public funding for transgender surgeries for undocumented immigrants in an ACLU survey in 2019.) Point out the obvious, and you will face an onslaught of criticism from the groups and their allies across social and mainstream media, foundations, academia, think tanks, and within the Democratic Party infrastructure itself.

But the issue goes deeper than fear. Far too many Democrats simply believe they are on the “right side of history” when it comes to policies around immigration, crime, race, and trans issues.

This mistaken assumption has been a disaster for the party. Voters overwhelmingly believe illegal immigration is wrong and should be deterred—not indulged. They believe crimes should be punished and public safety is sacrosanct. They believe, like Martin Luther King Jr., that people should “not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character,” and therefore oppose discrimination on the basis of race no matter who benefits from that discrimination. They believe biological sex is real, that spaces limited to biological women in areas like sports and prisons should be preserved, and that medical treatments like drugs and surgery are serious interventions that should not be available simply on the basis of declared gender identity, especially for children.

These issues reflect deeply held beliefs and values and are vitally important to ordinary voters, especially working-class voters. They are not distractions, or fake issues, or nonfactors in the election. So far, even the screamingly obvious implications of this last election have not been enough to shock the party out of its denialist torpor. Until they wake up, Democrats are doomed to repeat the mistakes of 2024.

Doomed they certainly should be. But even that doesn’t go far enough. In the final analysis, the criminal organization masquerading as a political party known as the D卐M☭CRATs of right ought to be outlawed and demolished, until not one party-HQ brick is left standing upon another. Over many years, the feckless sewer-crawlers have willfully forsaken all contact with reason, rationality, and even reality itself. Call it end-stage Leftism if you will, because that’s precisely what it is.

That being so, the D卐M☭CRAT “Party” no longer has any rightful place amongst decent, upright, and somewhat-free people. No longer can they lay claim to being “the loyal opposition,” except in jest; assuming that they ever were, it’s plain that they are no such thing now. They are truly, literally, and indisputably The Enemy©—deceitful, dangerous, depraved, and demented. Continued toleration of their existence as a national organization amounts to a serious blot on the American escutcheon.

Their ultimate goal, openly and boastfully professed instead of the studiously-kept secret it was until recently, is nothing short of the utter destruction of absolutely anything and everything that Real Americans have historically believed, reverenced, and held dear:

  • Patriotism
  • Religious faith
  • Individual self-determination
  • At least the possibility of prosperity and success
  • The work ethic
  • Property ownership
  • The traditional middle-American lifestyle
  • The nuclear family

All of these things and many, many more are now on the D卐M☭CRAT chopping block, awaiting the fall of the fearful knife. Which in turn means that the D卐M☭CRATs themselves must be destroyed utterly, at the very least, if only out of self-preservation.

As with termites—the insects, not the bipedal variety—our present-day D卐M☭CRAT infestation cannot be allowed to run riot throughout the joint, lest the House Of Liberty come crumbling down in ruin beyond hope of repair. Unpleasant as the prospect is, we have before us a strictly binary solution set: either exterminate them, or BE exterminated. Me for calling the Orkin Man straightaway, but as always YMMV.

Update! Almost forgot to include the blog-standard (heh; see what I did there? I slay me) “Via…” link-back credit, which goes to Ace, who piles on thusly:

They’re in such a (Satanic) religious fervor now, and they are so ruthless in attacking and shaming and cancelling any heretics who question current cult doctrine, that they might not ever be able to moderate. The entire party might just have to collapse and be replaced by an emergent alternate-liberal party.

Indeed. Here’s hoping for at least that if not a great deal more, and worse (for them).

Did someone say “shithole” just now?

Why yes, I believe someone did.

It turns out that Haiti is indeed a shithole
One of my MP buddies had been in Haiti after a hurricane. Disaster relief and all that. Some of the locals had decided to steal a 55-gallon drum of something or other. Just tipped it over and rolled it away, all the way to their shack. Now, this being Haiti, a lot of the roads are dirt roads, which means that my MP buddy and his squad simply had to follow the tracks that are left when one is rolling a 55 gallon drum. And so the did. Just following the tracks for about 500 yards, whereupon they found the 55 gallon drum “hidden” under a pile of garbage, and when my buddy and his squad went to retrieve that drum, they were met with accusations of theft and thuggery. And when my buddy pointed out that they were simply retrieving an item that the locals had stolen, every single person there swore on a stack of bibles that they didn’t steal anything.

Despite the evidence. The blatant, obvious evidence that they had stolen the 55 gallon drum, clearly marked as US property, with the tracks still fresh and clean in the dirt road.

Haiti is a shithole. It’s always been a shithole. The Dominican Republic knows this, which is why they built a fence along their border with Haiti and they refuse to let Haitians into the DR. There is absolutely no reason that we should be letting Haitians into the USA, as the chance of them acculturating and integrating is pretty damn small. If you want to help Haiti, do it in Haiti, but you’re going to have to bring guns, a strong stomach, and the will to be ruthless to the gangs that currently control Haiti. And I don’t see many Americans willing to do that. In order to help Haiti, you have to be willing to kill the cannibalistic gangs. Let me say that louder for the people in the back: In order to help Haiti, you have to be willing to shoot the gangs that are killing and eating people. I don’t see the American public being willing to (do) that.

I don’t see the American sheepul being willing to do much of anything that would inconvenience themselves in even the smallest way. Best thing to do for Haiti is to get the hell out of the nightmarish hellhole altogether, stay the hell out, and studiously ignore its very existence henceforth. Let the feral CHIDs (Cannibalistic Humanoid Island Dwellers) burn their own country to the ground if that’s what they want to do, and to hell with every man Jack of them. The DR obviously understands the proper way to deal with Haiti, which doesn’t involve “helping” in any way, shape, or form. And after all, having been forced by an accident of geography to live next door to these irredeemable animals, who would know better than they?

Of first shots…and LAST ones

As I’ve said here so very many times before, it’s time and way past time that Real Americans started shooting back.

The ‘Tolerant’ Left Sure Does Like Assassinations
A manifesto recovered from the alleged shooter of UnitedHeathCare CEO Brian Thompson says that “These parasites had it coming” and “I do apologize for any strife and trauma, but it had to be done.”

This is music to the ears of many on the left, who cheered when they learned that Thompson had been gunned down and are treating the shooter as some sort of folk hero.

“Social media users have sometimes outright gloated at the killing,” is how The Hill put it, describing it as an expression of “populist rage” and then spending the rest of the article trying to obliquely pin the blame on Donald Trump.

The Atlantic dismissed the “mockery and disdain” of the cold-blooded murder as an “expression of widespread fury at a broken system.”

Former Washington Post reporter Taylor Lorenz reposted an article about how Blue Cross Blue Shield will no longer cover anesthesia for the full length of some surgeries, adding, “And people wonder why we want these executives dead.”

“Saturday Night Live” joked that “it really says something about America that a guy was murdered in cold blood and the two main reactions were, ‘Yeah, well health care stinks!’ And also, ‘Girl, that shooter hot.’ “

If this reminds you of anything it should. Because the same cast of miscreants cheered the would-be assassin of Donald Trump as well.

In fact, the only problem they could find was that the shooter’s aim was off.

S’truth. A great old Tolkien quote springs immediately to mind yet again.

“It needs but one foe to breed a war, not two, Master Warden,” answered Éowyn. “And those who have not swords can still die upon them.”

Wise words indeed from the White Lady of Rohan, that wild shield-maiden of the North—a warning, a reminder, and a bit of highly useful advice, all in one poignant, unforgettable statement.

In case y’all hadn’t noticed as of yet, the long-dreaded Civil War v2.0 started a goodish while back. It’s just that so far, only one side seems at all interested in actually prosecuting the damned thing. Another good ‘un from LOTR:

You won’t rescue Lotho, or the Shire, just by being shocked and sad, my dear Frodo.

Indeed not, I’m afraid.

Daniel Penny followup

Really, the whole contretemps comes down to just one thing.

Daniel Penny and the Attempted Murder of Courage: The Dangerous Precedent of Prosecuting Heroes
Though the Daniel Penny trial is deadlocked with the judge urging jurors to continue deliberating, should they reach a decision, the verdict may ultimately be on something far bigger than the actions of one Marine on a New York City subway. It could be about what kind of country we want to be—a nation of men and women willing to step up in the face of danger, or a nation of cowards who film chaos on their phones and do nothing to stop it.

Penny, a Marine veteran, was riding the subway when Jordan Neely—a man with a long history of mental health issues and violent outbursts—began threatening passengers. Witnesses described Neely’s behavior as erratic and frightening. Penny acted decisively, restraining him in a chokehold to prevent what he and others clearly believed was a potential attack. Tragically, Neely died.

What followed wasn’t a nuanced look at a tragic situation, but an immediate rush to blame Penny, in part or in whole, because Penny is white and Neely was black. Neely also had a history of mental illness…and violence. His death was tragic, but the threat he posed to passengers on the F train that day was real. Despite that, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg wasted no time charging Penny with second-degree manslaughter. Bragg, known for his soft-on-crime policies, seemed determined to make an example of Penny—a man who, unlike the violent criminals Bragg often releases with a slap on the wrist, tried to protect people. How dare he?!? That’s Bragg’s providence.

Make no mistake, the prosecution of Penny sends a chilling message to all Americans: if you step up to stop violence, you might become the next defendant. At the very least it tells us that in Bragg’s New York, the safest course of action is to do nothing. Let the chaos unfold, keep your hands to yourself and pray the police arrive before anyone gets seriously hurt (and in Bragg’s New York as well as other cities with liberal district attorneys, even the police may wind up getting charged.) Better yet, pull out your phone and get it all on video. At least you won’t end up behind bars. Dead or seriously wounded maybe, but not behind bars.

The irony is almost unbearable. In a time when violent crime is rising and public safety feels more fragile than ever, Penny’s actions represented exactly the kind of courage we need. He saw people in danger and acted, not out of malice but out of a sense of duty to protect those around him. He didn’t wake up that morning or board that subway training thinking, “I want to hurt or kill somebody today.” His sense of duty—the willingness to defend others even at personal risk—is at the core of what makes a society function. Without it, we’re just bystanders to our own demise.

And let’s not kid ourselves about what happens next if this precedent sticks. Imagine the next subway, the next mall, the next street corner where someone decides to lash out. Will anyone step in? Or will they hesitate, thinking about the potential criminal charges that might await them? Alvin Bragg might not care, he’s sitting safely in his ivory tower, far from the danger spawned by his choices, but the rest of us will be living with the consequences of his decisions for a long time.

It’s worth noting that the jury couldn’t reach a unanimous decision in Penny’s trial—at least not yet, and maybe the won’t. That’s no surprise. The case was never black and white, and it shouldn’t have been brought to court in the first place. Prosecuting Penny wasn’t about justice—it was about politics. It was about sending a message that the powers-that-be are more interested in virtue-signaling than protecting their citizens.

But here’s the real question: What kind of country do we want to live in? Do we want to raise our kids in a world where good men like Daniel Penny are punished for doing the right thing, or do we want to stand behind them? Do we want to reward courage or cultivate a culture of fear? Part of that answer arrived during last month’s elections where a majoirty of Americans voted “enough” on the weakness of our country under the wan leadership of Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and the Democrats and decided they wanted a strong leader, the type who can take a bullet and stand back up undaunted.

Annnnnd BINGO! THAT’S what this whole thing is really all about when all’s said and done. In selecting for cowardice, you reinforce the better-not-get-involved, just-stay-out-of-it mindset rife not just in NYC, but right across non-rural Amerika v2.0 entire. Step in to help someone in need? Not on your life, pal, I could get sued. Interpose your own frail, easily-maimed physical person between a violent assailant and a weaker assailee? Whaddya, fookin’ nuts or sumpin’?

Yes, there are exceptions, of course. We hear about ‘em regularly: whenever some passerby chases off a would-be mugger; a woman turns the tables on her would-be rapist; or a jewelry dealer, convenience store manager, or pawn-shop proprietor pulls a firearm from under the counter and burns down a thief. But that’s exactly why we hear about them: they are EXCEPTIONS, just doing what exceptions do: proving the rule.

The Donald steps up to the plate

Going to bat for his unfairly-beleaguered and -beslimed SecDef nominee, which right-on-time show of fighting spirit, will to win, and steely resolve I’m mighty damned happy to see. If it holds up, I’d consider that a highly encouraging indicator of the shape of things to come.

Trump confident Pete Hegseth will be confirmed as defense secretary: ‘Senators call me up saying he’s fantastic’
President-elect Donald Trump said Friday that he’s been hearing rave reviews from senators about Defense Secretary-designate Pete Hegseth and is confident he will be confirmed.

“It looks like Pete is doing well now,” Trump told “Meet the Press” moderator Kristen Welker, in a clip from her interview with the president-elect that will air Sunday.

“I mean, people were a little bit concerned,” Trump continued. “He’s a young guy, with a tremendous track record actually. He went to Princeton and went to Harvard. He was a good student at both. But he loves the military and I think people are starting to see it so we’ll be working on his nomination along with a lot of others.”

Yeah, well, we all know who those concerned “people” were, and fuck them right in the liver with a sparking cattle prod. May every man Jack of them die screaming, then burn in Hell for a thousand years. Such as:

Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), who on Thursday suggested that she wasn’t quite yet a “yes” on Hegseth, met with the nominee on Friday and plans to continue the conversation next week.

“I just had another substantive conversation with Senator Ernst,” Hegseth wrote on X. “I appreciate her sincere commitment to defense policy, and I look forward to meeting with her again next week.”

On the meeting, Ernst tweeted, “At a minimum, we agree that he deserves the opportunity to lay out his vision for our warfighters at a fair hearing.”

Sleazy, slimy, Swamp-stinking rat. As I already said, Punch ‘Em Out Pete knows the score.

Earlier this week, Hegseth slammed the onslaught of anonymously sourced media reports that have imperiled his confirmation.

“It’s a textbook manufactured media takedown,” he wrote in a Wall Street Journal op-ed.

Yessir, that is precisely what it is, with the usual assist from dirty Vichy GOPe RINOs like Ernst. A testimonial to Hegseth’s fitness for the position which is more than good enough for me.

Will Cain, one of Hegseth’s former co-hosts at “Fox & Friends Weekend,” came to his ex-colleague’s defense Friday after the Washington Post downplayed the significance of Hegseth’s two Bronze Stars.

“Was just hanging out in [Hegseth’s] office (with his permission) and found this. Is this cool? I don’t know can someone ask [the Washington Post]?” Cain wrote in a tweet which included a photo of an Army Commendation Medal awarded to Hegseth in 2005.

The citation on the commendation noted that Hegseth’s “leadership and initiative directly resulted in the capture of two high value targets with ties to Al Qaeda in Iraq and effectively marked the end of an insurgent mortar cell.”

Gee, hire a warrior with battlefield skills and experience for a job best suited to a warrior with battlefield skills and experience—what could possibly be more appropriate, more sensible, more just plain old right than that, prithee tell?

Alternatively, we could just rely on the simon pure, reliably honest, fair, and trustworthy WaPo’s advice on this matter, I suppose. *spit*

It ain’t over till it’s over

Not that it matters one whit to the Uniparty swine intent on smearing a good and decent man, thereby forcing Trump to withdraw him from consideration for the SecDef post. Nothing personal, y’unnerstand, it’s just how the DC game is played nowadays.

Hegseth left veterans group post voluntarily, wasn’t ousted over drinking, misconduct: Trustee letter
A former trustee confirmed that Pete Hegseth “voluntarily resigned” as president of a veterans advocacy group in 2016, according to a copy of a letter exclusively obtained by The Post, denying recent allegations that the defense secretary-designee was forced out due to alcohol abuse, sexual impropriety and financial mismanagement.

Concerned Veterans for America trustee Randy Lair in a Jan. 16, 2016, missive wrote that “it was important to set the record straight given what appears to be a very personal attack against Pete and his military service.”

“The truth is Pete resigned his position as CEO of Concerned Veterans for America as a result of a difference of opinion as to the future of the organization and so that he could focus on other endeavors, including his relationship with Fox News,” Lair said.

“Pete was not terminated by the organization and, in fact, we at CVA worked with him through this difficult decision and mutually agreed the end of 2015 was the best timing for both parties,” he added.

The CVA letter was meant to address an “unsolicited email” that had been forwarded to Fox News that included “a very personal attack against Pete and his military service.”

It also appears to directly contradict a whistleblower report and other allegations from Hegseth’s tenure at CVA published Sunday by the New Yorker, in which ex-employees alleged the former vets group president had abused funds and been “totally sloshed” at several of the organization’s events.

Sean Parnell, a former senior adviser at CVA, told The Post on Tuesday that the characterizations in the email and by the whistleblower report included in the piece were totally false and “not reflective” of the Army vet who worked with.

“If you read that article, I mean, I think you come away thinking that CVA was some sort of slush fund for parties or something — and nothing could be further from the truth,” Parnell said.

The ex-CVA adviser added that Hegseth never mismanaged funding but rather disagreed with the organization’s more war hawkish donor base, as he came to embrace President-elect Donald Trump’s more isolationist foreign policy stance.

Whaaa…you mean to tell me this Hegseth affliction is NOT on board with the military/industrial/political complex’s preference for an endless succession of forever wars in which there is no discernible national interest nor even the slightest intention of just winning the damned things? Why, the very idea!

Worse yet, Hegseth’s reckless disregard for the usual order of things could seriously impede the flow of the taxpayer-money spigot; despoil the prestige of the Perfumed Princes of the Potomac Puzzle Palace; and leave the whole sorry lot of Blue Falcons, inside-the-wire FOBbits, and/or REMFs looking like the skulking, scheming, Participation Medal-bedecked pig-in-a-poke pedlars they so truly are.

Why, the dirty rotten BASTARD!

To his own enormous credit, Punch ‘Em Pete appears to know the score forwards, backwards, sideways, and down.

Trump’s pick for the top Pentagon spot is not backing down either, posting on X Wednesday morning that he’s “doing this for the warfighters, not the warmongers.”

“The Left is afraid of disrupters and change agents. They are afraid of @realDonaldTrump—and me. So they smear w/ fake, anonymous sources & BS stories. They don’t want truth,” Hegseth said. “Our warriors never back down, & neither will I.”

True dat, and good on ya for saying so, sir. Stay strong in the struggle against these yappy-ass anklebiters. Get in their faces and punch back twice as hard; keep your head up, your shoulders back, and your eyes firmly on the prize. Or, as my old-school biker chums used to put it, illegitimi non carborundum.

Update! Just can’t resist calling y’all’s attention to Hegseth’s sly, stingingly accurate allusion to the Left’s dread of “disrupters and change agents.” How very ironic that the selfsame shitlibs—“Progressives,” harrumph-harrumph—who for decades on end have delighted in sanctimoniously caw-cawing at us fusty, stiff necked old ReichWingNaziDeathBeast© sticks-in-the-mud to proclaim themselves as the disrupters, change agents, and bold, forward-thinking innovators towards whose vision the “arc of history” is forever bending should suddenly be weeping, shrieking, taking an oath of celibacy, and shaving their heads in stark terror at the mere prospect of real, meaningful change on the near horizon, innit?

Why, a Pyrsynzz of Reason might readily be forgiven if Shim/Zhrr/Thim came to the conclusion that these obnoxious dorksnorts are as full of shit as the holiday turkey they all curled their vegan lips at in performative disdain over at Mom and Dad’s unfairly-sumptuous house last week.

Is there really no end to these assholes?

As the proctologist once asked his assistant. A: apparently, there is not.

Mass arrests at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade as anti-Israel protesters block procession
They’re parading straight into custody.

Anti-Israel protesters tried to ruin the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for the second year running Thursday, with cops quickly swarming in to gobble up roughly 25 arrests.

The firebrands entered the parade route at West 55th Street and Fifth Avenue, stopping the Ronald McDonald balloon in its tracks around 9:25 a.m., police said — and drawing loud jeers from parade-goers screaming at the killjoys to move.

Photos showed protesters sitting in the parade’s path, with some unfurling a large banner that read: “Don’t celebrate genocide!”

“Get the hell out of here,” a parade-goer yelled amid a chorus of boos from the crowd, which seemed more interested in the Bluey balloon’s arrival than the plight of Palestinians in Gaza.

Cops cuffed about 25 protesters “without incident” and hauled them away to face pending charges, police said – but the arrests appeared more violent than the NYPD’s account.

Good, damned glad to hear it. Although however roughly they may have handled these asswipes, it still wasn’t rough enough to suit me, I’ll warrant. That would be unpossible.

”This is disgusting,” said a Brooklyn cop. “There are times and places to peacefully protest, but not the Thanksgiving day parade. This a day for families to enjoy and not be interrupted by these a–holes.”

A-fargin’-MEN, Offissa Pup. Please don’t spare the Asp, pepper spray, and/or nightstick enemas on my account, sir. Normally, excessive force ain’t something I’m in favor of, but I’m entirely willing to make an exception for these cretinous cocksuckers.

Update! OMB puts the boot in. Related? Oh, you just bet your sweet bippy it’s related.

Traditional “Show more” end-run:

Happy Thanksgiving to all, including to the Radical Left Lunatics who have worked so hard to destroy our Country, but who have miserably failed, and will always fail, because their ideas and policies are so hopelessly bad that the great people of our Nation just gave a landslide victory to those who want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! Don’t worry, our Country will soon be respected, productive, fair, and strong, and you will be, more than ever before, proud to be an American!

Well said, Mr President sir, I hope and expect you’re right about all that.
