Invite the Third World, become the Third World

It begins—all too close to home, for me.

Charlotte protesters attack officers, set tractor-trailer on fire in riot at Eritrean ‘cultural event’: police
North Carolina officers met with violence at African cultural event, protest

The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department said eight people were arrested Saturday during a 10-hour “protest and standoff” that stemmed from an Eritrean “cultural event.”

Clashes erupted between rival groups of Eritreans, and police confirmed that officers trying to disperse the unlawful crowds were attacked by people wielding sticks, rocks and other items.

Crowds also set a tractor on fire in North Carolina’s largest city, and police seized a total of two firearms over the course of several hours.

Fox News Digital reached out to the department Sunday seeking the identities and more information about those eight arrested.

The incident first began shortly after 11:30 a.m. Saturday, when CMPD’s Providence Division responded to “an unlawful protest happening in the parking lot of a business hosting an Eritrean cultural event” on Monroe Road. “Protesters were on private property and were spilling out into the road, which prompted officers to close Monroe Road. Dispersal orders were repeatedly given to protesters throughout the duration of the protest, however they refused to disperse,” police said in a press release. “Charlotte Fire and MEDIC responded to assist.”

A good friend of mine works in a Monroe Rd business, Morris Costumes, and was sent home from work early yesterday, the store being caught right in the middle of the shite. This sort of thing is precisely what guys like me mean when we refer to the FUSA as a once-great nation.

Behind the Hollywood scenes

Two wonderful backstage tales via KT.

The story continues from there, to wind up in a place you probably wouldn’t expect: Bronson and Russell skateboarding together all over the studio lot, in open defiance of insurance regs against it. Good, good stuff. Next up: how Bugs Bunny saved Mel Blanc’s life.

The follow-on dialogue is priceless.

Heh. I can think of but one way to respond to that.

The shakiest guns in the, umm, East

Q: Are cops in FLA the worst in the known universe?

A: Apparently, yes. Yes, they are.

Cop resigns after mistaking falling acorn for gunshot, firing at unarmed suspect cuffed in patrol car
A Florida cop resigned after opening fire on an unarmed black man who was handcuffed in his patrol car — because he confused the sound of an acorn hitting the vehicle with a muffled gunshot.

Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Deputy Jesse Hernandez handed in his badge in December following the Nov. 12 Fort Walton Beach incident, officials said Friday.

Sgt. Beth Roberts, who also opened fire, was exonerated in an internal investigation and remained on the job, according to police.

The suspect, Marquis Jackson, was luckily uninjured, but the “situation was traumatic” for him, police acknowledged.

The video of the incident is…well, quite frankly, it’s pathetic.

If you look closely, you can see the falling acorn highlighted against one of the light-grey rowhouses in the background, just before it hits the roof and scares Officer Pissypants out of his meager wits. Next up, vid of the other trigger-happy Deppity Dawg blasting away in “support” of her panicky fellow Offissa Pupp and likewise hitting nothing much.

Uh huh, luckily. A pair of regular Deadeye Dicks, these two. And just never anybody mind that these shooty-shooty knuckleheads popped off thirty rounds most ricky-tick (depending on issue mag capacity, natch; it coulda been sixty)—smack dab in the middle of a residential neighborhood, mind—at a handcuffed “shooter” who, presumably, had been patted down by Sooperdoopercop before he was ever put into the patrol car, thus already verified to be unarmed.

Presumably.

So guess what the PD review board “investigation” concluded regarding this disgraceful fiasco? Go on, guess. I dares ya.

Investigators concluded that Hernandez was culpable for a “policy violation regarding excessive use of control to resistance,” but that Roberts’ “use of deadly force was objectively reasonable.”

No criminal charges were filed against either officer.

Yeah, I thought not. But…“control to resistance”? SRSLY?!? There WAS NO resistance, of any kind. How the hell could there have been? The “shooter” was securely cuffed and locked in the squad car’s perp seat, behind the standard doors without handles, therefore posed no conceivable threat to anybody, badged/heeled or no.

Meanwhile, according to another Tweet I saw, Marquis Jackson (who will doubtless be known as “Lucky” to the other hoodrats forevermore), was cleared of his vengeful ex-ho’s firearms-possession accusations against him.

So at the end of the day it’s a happy ending, I suppose: Hernandez is off the force and out of a job he was manifestly unsuited for, and Jackson is none the worse for wear. Well, apart from the heart-attack-inducing levels of stress brought on by being the helpless, immobilized schnook used for target practice during a hot-range double mag-dump by two (2) cops, neither of whom had any business ever being handed a badge and a gun in the first place, that is.

For 2A folks as well, there’s a cherry on top of this shit sundae: we can take some small comfort that if it’s timorous, overwrought, weak-sister incompetents such as Hernandez and Roberts who’ll be tasked with tippy-toeing door to door to confiscate the guns, then we probably don’t have a whole hell of a lot to worry about. They simply ain’t gonna be up to it, and if any hot-lead-exchange should break out, the Keystone Kops demonstrably couldn’t hit the broad side of a bull’s ass with a baseball bat if you gave ‘em three tries at it. The most serious hazard to firearms enthusiasts in such an eventuality will be parting a floating rib from its moorings, from laughing so damned hard at them.

I dunno, though; kinda makes me wonder if there might not be something to all that angst, dread, and fear the boogs have for years claimed to suffer from merely being in the general vicinity of uniformed 5-0 after all, though I’ve always dismissed that shit out of hand until now. Either way, somewhere out there the infamous “Broward Coward” must be breathing a deep sigh of relief at seeing this mind-bending clusterfuck, secure in the knowledge that he’s at last been outdone by the Excessively Dynamic Duo© and their assclownish antics.

How to build a border wall

The President of Mexico—or Egypt, or some other place, who can really say for sure—shows us the way.

What is the Israeli Defense Force supposed to do with a million or so Palestinian refugees as their operations to kill every last Hamas wipes the Gaza Strip from north to south like a giant, well-armed squeegee?

The President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, who is sometimes mistaken for the President of Mexico, has an answer to that vexing question — and it’s something of a completely routine miracle how the mainstream media and the Global Professional Outrage Machine have both ignored it.

The essence of el-Sisi’s answer is: “Do what you will to the Palestinians, Israel, but they aren’t coming here to Egpyt (or maybe Mexico).”

In practice, it’s much easier just to show you how Egypt protects its border with the Gaza Strip.

Follows, a Twatter/X/whatevs vid, which I won’t bother embedding here. Then:

That’s what Egypt’s border wall looks like from the Gaza side near the city of Rafah. There are concrete barriers in front of what appears to be a steel wall — 30 feet tall is my guesstimate — featuring three layers of concertina wire. It looks a little like somebody took a World War I obstacle and turned it up on one end.

As Aviva Klompas, who posted the video clip noted, “Egypt REALLLLLY doesn’t want any Palestinian refugees.”

That might seem strange on the face of it since, for 20 years, Gaza was part of Egypt. It gets more curious still when you realize that if Egypt had wanted Gaza back, it could have gotten it (along with the entire Sinai peninsula) in its 1979 peace treaty with Israel.

Instead, then-Egyptian leader Anwar Sadat told Israeli PM Menachem Begin, “Nah, we’re good. You keep Gaza.” Sadat left a few hundred thousand fellow Arabs to the tender mercies of those hated Zionist colonial occupiers because it was the least bad option for Egypt.

Before the refounding of Israel in 1947, Jewish settlers to the British Palestine Mandate (and pre-WWI, to Ottoman Turkey’s South Syira province) often called themselves Palestinians. The local Arabs were a collection of mostly Syrians, plus some Egyptians, Lebanese, and others. “Palestinian” didn’t come into vogue for the Arab refugees of the Israeli War for Independence until the 1960s — and that was at the Soviet-funded behest of Yassar Arafat and his Palestinian Liberation Organization.

Some folks, who I’m otherwise inclined to agree with on Middle East issues, insist that there still isn’t any such thing as a Palestinian. But I must respectfully disagree.

Generations spent unprecedented as refugees, mixed up with the awfulness typical of occupation and lavish funding for terrorist leaders, have resulted in a uniquely Palestinian national identity.

It is also uniquely toxic.

It is at that. So, since they have again and again demonstrated their unwillingness to rethink their position and prefer to double, triple, and quadruple down on A) the destruction of Israel; B) the unquestioned supremacy of Pisslam, established by global jihad; and C) the extermination of every last Jew on Earth, let them perish from said toxicity, then.

While we’re all waiting for that suicide-by-Netanyahu to transpire, Bayou Peter has a question for Amerika v2.0’s “pResident”-ish*** Tyrantosaurus Wrex.

The new border wall was started immediately after the October 7th terrorist attacks in Israel, and it’s already been completed – very fast work. Egypt clearly had a pretty good idea what was coming, and wanted to shut down its border with Gaza ahead of the streams of refugees who would doubtless have attempted to cross. It looks like it succeeded.

Let’s see, now…If President Biden wants to improve US relations with both Egypt and Israel, why doesn’t he hire the Egyptian firms who built that wall so well and so quickly to protect the USA’s border with Mexico in the same way? I’m sure their prices would be a lot lower than local companies, and they’ve got the experience to work fast and well. They could even please the migrants by hiring them as itinerant laborers to build the wall – provided they ended up on the Mexican side of the wall when it was complete.

The only thing missing are lethal defenses to back up the passive ones. Egypt’s taken care of that by sending tanks and armored personnel carriers to patrol the wall. We could do likewise. Employment for the National Guard, perhaps?

Excellent questions, both of them, the answers to which we already know, unfortunately. Which foreknowledge suggests another regrettably familiar question, namely: what is to be done about it?

“Baseless”

Well, well, well, well, well, well, WELL.

Mail-In Ballot Fraud Study Finds Trump ‘Almost Certainly’ Won In 2020
A new study examining the likely impact that fraudulent mail-in ballots had in the 2020 election concludes that the outcome would “almost certainly” have been different without the massive expansion of voting by mail.

The Heartland Institute study tried to gauge the probable impact that fraudulent mail-in ballots cast for both then-candidate Joe Biden and his opponent, President Donald Trump, would have had on the overall 2020 election results.

The study was based on data obtained from a Heartland/Rasmussen survey in December that revealed that roughly one in five mail-in voters admitted to potentially fraudulent actions in the presidential election.

After the researchers carried out additional analyses of the data, they concluded that mail-in ballot fraud “significantly” impacted the 2020 presidential election.

They also found that, absent the huge expansion of mail-in ballots during the pandemic, which was often done without legislative approval, President Trump would most likely have won.

“Had the 2020 election been conducted like every national election has been over the past two centuries, wherein the vast majority of voters cast ballots in-person rather than by mail, Donald Trump would have almost certainly been re-elected,” the report’s authors wrote.

Over 43 percent of 2020 votes were cast by mail, the highest percentage in U.S. history.

The new study examined raw data from the December survey carried out jointly between Heartland Institute and Rasmussen Reports, which tried to assess the level of fraudulent voting that took place in 2020.

The December survey, which President Trump called “the biggest story of the year,” suggested that roughly 20 percent of mail-in voters engaged in at least one potentially fraudulent action in the 2020 election, such as voting in a state where they’re no longer permanent residents.

In the new study, Heartland analysts say that, after reviewing the raw survey data, subjecting it to additional statistical treatment and more thorough analysis, they now believe they can conclude that 28.2 percent of respondents who voted by mail committed at least one type of behavior that is “under most circumstances, illegal” and so potentially amounts to voter fraud.

“This means that more than one-in-four ballots cast by mail in 2020 were likely cast fraudulently, and thus should not have been counted,” the researchers wrote.

Color me shocked—SHOCKED! Quelle surprise, non? Calls for one of them funny-pitchers-with-words I’ve been saving up for other purposes, I do believe.

S’truth. Ahh, but seeing as how it worked out so perfectly for them last time around—they got away 110% scot-free, without suffering one (1) solitary thing by way of repercussion, recrimination, or even minor inconvenience afterwards, and almost certainly never will—there’s just NO FRIGGIN’ WAY they’ll try the same thing again this year, right? I mean, they wouldn’t DARE, right?

RIGHT?!?

Another day…

…another deranged “transgender” Manwoman© shooting up the place.

Here’s Everything We Know About the Megachurch Shooter
The now-deceased gunman who opened fire inside a famous Texas megachurch run by Joel Osteen Sunday afternoon has been identified as an identity-switching Hispanic woman with pro-Palestine, antisemitic beliefs.

36-year-old Genesse Ivonne Moreno, a biological female who used multiple male aliases, was wearing a trench coat when she entered the Houston-based Lakewood Church with two rifles, a backpack, and a young child by her side around 2 p.m. Sunday.

According to Commander Christopher Hassig of HPD’s homicide division during Monday’s press conference, the sticker simply stated “Palestine” on the long gun’s buttstock. In addition to the Anderson-manufacturing AR-15, which she used to carry out the church shooting, Moreno possessed a .22 caliber rifle by Blue Line Solutions on her person, but it was not fired at the time.

Authorities have also uncovered “antisemitic writings” in Moreno’s possession.

Hassig said police believe there was “a familiar dispute” that took place between her ex-husband and her ex-husband’s family. “Some of those individuals are Jewish. So, we believe that might possibly be where all of this stems from,” Hassig stated.

Dayumm, a possible self-gassing Jew for the Nutjob Trifecta too? I admit, I did NOT see that coming.

There were two victims injured: The seven-year-old boy, allegedly used as a human shield, was hit during the exchange of gunfire and taken to Texas Children’s Hospital in critical condition; a 57-year-old man, an innocent bystander, was shot in the leg.

The child caught in the crossfire suffered a gunshot to the head and remains hospitalized.

Moreno is the child’s biological mother. She’s posted “#momlife” and “#motherandson” content with pictures of a boy in her care.

In the past, Moreno assumed the altar-ego Jeffery Escalante as well as other male-presenting personas.

Moreno’s Facebook page—which expressed leftist, anti-police views—has since been scrubbed. Moreno’s since-deleted Instagram account featured posts of her cleaning an AR-15 and donating money to Lakewood Church. There, she uploaded a screenshot of the contribution’s confirmation. “[A]s for me and my household…I will honor and bless my church,” Moreno wrote on Instagram.

In the lead-up to the 2020 presidential election, Moreno supported socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). “I WANT HIM IN THE OFFICE AS THE US PRESIDENT,” she wrote in an Instagram post, uploading a photograph of Sanders on the campaign trail.

Arrest records show she was an El Salvadoran immigrant.

Jesus tapdancin’ Christ, is there any present-day socio/political/personal pathology this pluperfect looney-tooney doesn’t represent? Of course you know what this means, right? To wit: all normal, sane Real Americans who never shot anybody and never will must yield up their 2A rights immediately so something like this can never, ever happen again. Best-case scenario: the whole sad, sorry story will be alacritously hurled down the memory hole in 3…2…1…

THAT’LL teach him!

Yeah, you shitlib idiots really taught this kid a lesson he won’t ever forget. You can bet he won’t be crossing you tough, scary, badass mufuggas again anytime soon.

Mo’ bettah deets.

Guess Who’s at the Super Bowl? That Kid Who Got Smeared as a Racist by Deadspin
Remember the story where some lunatic woke writer at “sports” outlet Deadspin smeared a nine-year-old boy for allegedly wearing blackface and a native headdress to a football game in November, which of course to them indicated he was a virulent racist?

It turns out the whole premise was BS, and the kid’s face was painted with colors that the Kansas City Chiefs have used in logos and merchandising. Not only that, the boy turned out to be Native American, and was proudly wearing his headdress to honor that heritage.

Can you say, “egg on the face?”

The whole saga reeks of woke journalism where activists posing as reporters don’t care about the facts, they just want something to fit their narrative. We saw it with Kyle Rittenhouse, and we saw it with the “Covington Kid,” Nick Sandmann.

It’s a disgrace to journalism, and sadly, it’s not all that uncommon these days:

The 9-year-old boy was at the center of a firestorm during the regular season when he was seen wearing black paint across half of his face and a headdress as the Chiefs took on the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium. Deadspin wrote an article that accused the boy of blackface and offending Native American culture.

But his face was painted black on one side and red on the other for the Chiefs colors, and the boy’s grandfather is reportedly on the board of the Chumash Tribe in California.

Deadspin edited the story to remove the photo at the top that featured the boy and said they “regret any suggestion that we were attacking” Holden.

Armenta’s parents filed suit against Deadspin, and they wrote in their complaint:

“H.A. did not wear a costume headdress because he was ‘taught hate at home’ — he wore it because he loves the Kansas City Chiefs football team and because he loves his Native American heritage.”

I hope Armenta is enjoying the game, even though his Chiefs are currently trailing San Francisco 10-3 at halftime.

And Deadspin, I hope you’re enjoying the taste of crow.

Myself, I hope they all choke on it until they are dead, dead, dead. I mean that quite literally, too.

Flapmeat

Don’t give a tinker’s damn about the story itself, what I really want to get at is the bizarre phenomenon going on with Grampy Griftey Gropey’s chinticles.

See that shit? What the HELL is going on wid’ dat? Did Bribem’s saggy, withered ballbag relocate to hang off the bottom of his face spontaneously or something? My God, it even appears that, as with most boys, one nut is only partially descended. What a whacked-out freak this distorted Pedosaurus Wrex truly is, in every least way—physically, mentally, ethically, you name it.

During Blaque Hissreh Mumf ‘n’ sheeit?

An insult, if you like.

Squatters take over 1,200 homes in Atlanta, open illegal strip clubs and terrorize neighbors: ‘Is this even America?’
Squatters are ruining entire neighborhoods in Atlanta and police response to evict is so slow, some homeowners have resorted to paying nuisances to leave.

Brazen squatters even opened an illegal strip club on a property they had taken over — one of the 1,200 homes which has been squatted in the city, according to the National Rental Home Council (NRHC) trade group.

“I’d be terrified in Atlanta to lease out one of my properties,” Matt Urbanski, who manages a local home-cleaning company, told Bloomberg.

Urbanski’s company cleans out homes for corporate landlords, and in some cases has to remove squatters’ possessions.

Recently one of his employees was shot after attempting to remove intruders from a property.

Simon Frost, CEO of large-scale landlord Tiber Capital Group, said there have been incidents of unlawful occupants brandishing weapons and threatening neighbors, which affects the safety of neighborhoods and other residents, according to Bloomberg.

Evicting squatters in Atlanta is tough, involving negotiating court backlogs and strained police resources.

Gee, Atlanta being Atlanta—“The city too busy to hate,” as they used to like to say of themselves—one wonders how those police resources might have become so “strained.” This next is the part I like best.

In October, an Atlanta neighborhood found itself at the center of a scandal involving squatters who transformed a home into an illegal strip club, complete with weekend parties and even live horses on the property.

Live horses?

‘Nuff said.

Update! Forgot to include the link, fixed now, with my apologies. Got way too many irons in the fire this evening, I’m afraid.

Apologies for the formatting weirdness, but well worth a read anyway, I think. If you’d rather take it all in in one big gulp at the original source, it’s here. I do really like Lee’s “The Firm™” formulation, and plan to make mucho use of it going forward.

A preponderance of evidence

First our very own hhluce posted his Border Kabuki pics in the comments here, then he aggregated ‘em all into one handy-dandy Stream 47 Substack post. Nice work, hh, damned nice work. Our boy has another first-rater up as well: ingeniously conceived, immaculately researched, impeccably argued. To wit:

It’s Not Migration, It’s Colonization, By The Communist Chinese
They polluted their own country so that the soil can’t grow crops that aren’t full of cadmium, mercury, and arsenic – and so now they want our land – and possession is 99% of the law…

And the “Democratic” and “Republican” Parties both facilitate this, the latter covering for the former’s bad acts. Trump has promised to deport these people back across the border, and to seal it against incursion – while Bai-den does nothing – and his CBP helps them to come across. That’s a clear choice for anyone opposed to the colonization and eventual control of the US by the Han Chinese, the most racist people on the face of the earth, who are content to live under brutal dictators, since they have no tradition of anything approaching democracy or republicanism. And both of the Democratic and Republican Establishments are giving not only comfort, but active aid – money, food, housing, medical care, transport – to these people invading the US on behalf of a hostile foreign power. Want some evidence? See the following…

Trust me, you want to, you really, really want to. It’s an entirely different take on the manufactured “border crisis” that proceeds from a place I will guar-on-gott-damn-TEE you you haven’t seen anyplace else. I repeat: DAMNED nice work, hh, and good on ya. That second excerpted piece calls for a rerun of a Kari Lake gem I used in my most recent Screamin’ meemie Monday! post, I do believe.

Seconded, most heartily. Good on you too, Ms Lake, you good-lookin’ thang, you. Arizona really screwed the pooch by not electing you Governor when they had the chance in 22. That, and re-sending Traitor John McStain to the Senate for a hundred and fifty-sixty years—I mean, what the hell is WRONG with you people out there, anyhow?

Congresswoman Ilhan “Omar,” D-Mogadishu

Oh, fret not, she’s representing her constituents and her country all right. It’s just that her constituents aren’t Americans from her Congressional district in the state formerly known as Minnesota, and her country isn’t what we sometimes mistakenly refer to as the United States of America.

I’ve Been Identifying Ilhan Omar as ‘D-Mogadishu’ for Years. It Turns Out I Was Right.
Ilhan Omar rocketed to notoriety a few years back by warning that some American officials have dual loyalties. As it turns out, she was one of them.

Back in 2019, the winsome and patriotic congresswoman had the courage to declare, “I want to talk about the political influence in this country that says that it is OK for people to push for allegiance to a foreign country.” She was talking about American officials who supposedly had loyalty to both the U.S. and Israel, but on Sunday, a video appeared on X showing Omar telling a Somali crowd that they all were “Somalis first, Muslims second.” Nothing about being Americans. And that was the least jarring and offensive part of the speech.

Omar was speaking in Somali, and the translation was made by someone who clearly opposes her; however, in response to the controversy that her statements sparked, she didn’t take issue with the accuracy of the translation, but only with its interpretation. To a certain extent, Omar is right about this. She is being criticized for saying, “We Somalis must have the confidence in ourselves that we call the shots in the U.S. The U.S. government will only do what Somalians in the U.S. tell them to do. They will do what we want and nothing else.”

That sounds terrible, but an Omar defender on X contended that it was innocuous: “Omar says she is representing the interests of Somalis in the United States, which is a legitimate task, as a Congresswoman in any democratic system.” Commenting approvingly on that post, Omar herself added: “It’s not only slanted but completely off, but I wouldn’t expect more from these propagandists.”

All right. Certainly, a representative should stand for the interests of his or her constituents. Everyone acknowledges that. But Omar was speaking in Minneapolis and yet says nothing, at least in the available video, about fighting for her constituents’ interests in the United States. Likewise, she says nothing, as you’d expect, about fighting for the interests of the U.S. itself. Instead, she says that the U.S. government “must follow our orders and that is how we will safeguard the interest of Somalia…Sleep in comfort, knowing I am here to protect the interests of Somalia from inside the U.S. system.”

In the speech, Omar said of herself: “The woman you sent to Congress is working day and night to protect your interest. She knows your plight and that of Somalia. I am as concerned about Somalia as you guys are. Together we will protect the interests of Somalia.”

That’s swell, but members of the U.S. House of Representatives take this oath: “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”

Do you see anything in there about protecting the interests of a foreign country? Neither do I. Ilhan Omar has the dual loyalties that she has claimed supporters of Israel have. In the wake of the release of this speech, many are calling for her to be expelled from the House à la George Santos, and she should be. But given the left’s tendency to circle the wagons and defend its own no matter what, that is about as likely as Old Joe Biden uttering a coherent sentence.

Expelled from the House? She ought to be expelled from the goddamned country and sent straight back to the shithole whence she slithered and slimed her way to our shores, with a quickness. But none of us should be holding our breaths waiting for it. Lest we forget:

The repellent Ilhan Omar—a traitor to this nation condemned by both her words and her deeds, and who is in this country illegally—will not be censured, expelled, impeached, or deported. There’s a reason for that, a most shameful one: it’s because WE are the ones who failed to learn the lessons of the Black Hawk Down incident, not her. Clearly, she learned and understood them completely.

Border Patrol Says Agents Will NOT Remove Texas Razor Wire Barriers
In defiance of the Biden Administration’s wishes, senior figures within Customs and Border Protection have stated that there are no plans to have Border Patrol agents remove razor wire barriers erected along sections of the border by the Texas National Guard.

Fox News reports that a high ranking CBP official told the network that their relationship with the Guard is “strong”.

“While this issue plays out in the courts, the relationship between Border Patrol, Texas DPS [Department of Public Safety], & TMD [Texas Military Dept.] remains strong,” the official said, adding “Our focus is and will always be the mission of protecting this country and its people.”

“On the ground, we continue to work alongside these valuable partners in that endeavor,” the official continued, adding “Bottom line: Border Patrol has no plans to remove infrastructure (c-wire) placed by Texas along the border.”

“Our posture remains the same. If we need to access an area for emergency response, we will do so. When that happens, we will coordinate with Texas DPS & TMD,” the official further declared.

The Border Patrol Union also issued a statement outlining that agents will not interfere with Texas National Guard members carrying out “lawful” operations.

“TX NG and rank-and-file BP agents work together and respect each other’s jobs. Period. If TX NG members have LAWFUL orders, then they have to carry out those orders,” the statement notes.

“Rank-and-file BP agents appreciate and respect what TX has been doing to defend their state in the midst of this catastrophe that the Biden Admin has unleashed on America,” the statement continues, adding “We want to be perfectly clear, there is no fight between rank-and-file BP agents and the TX NG, Gov. Abott, or TX DPS.”

“It may make flashy headlines, but it simply isn’t true,” the statement concluded.

The development comes as Texas Governor Greg Abbott told Tucker Carlson the State is “prepared” for conflict with the federal government.

Twenty five States have expressed support for Texas, with ten of them, according to Abbot, deploying their own National Guard to Texas to help.

Commandeering the TNG still looking like a good idea to ya, Slow Jaux? Because in light of this development, it might very well not work out for you exactly as you think it will, at least not in the great Republic of Texas anyway.

Comments appear entirely at the whim of the guy who pays the bills for this site and may be deleted, ridiculed, maliciously edited for purposes of mockery, or otherwise pissed over as he in his capricious fancy sees fit. The CF comments section is pretty free-form and rough and tumble; tolerance level for rowdiness and misbehavior is fairly high here, but is NOT without limit.

Management is under no obligation whatever to allow the comments section to be taken over and ruined by trolls, Leftists, and/or other oxygen thieves, and will take any measures deemed necessary to prevent such. Conduct yourself with the merest modicum of decorum, courtesy, and respect and you'll be fine. Pick pointless squabbles with other commenters, fling provocative personal insults, issue threats, or annoy the host (me) and...you won't.

Should you find yourself sanctioned after running afoul of the CF comments policy as stated and feel you have been wronged, please download and complete the Butthurt Report form below in quadruplicate; retain one copy for your personal records and send the others to the email address posted in the right sidebar.

Please refrain from whining, sniveling, and/or bursting into tears and waving your chubby fists around in frustrated rage, lest you suffer an aneurysm or stroke unnecessarily. Your completed form will be reviewed and your complaint addressed whenever management feels like getting around to it. Thank you.

FREEDOM!!!

"There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters."
Daniel Webster

“When I was young I was depressed all the time. But suicide no longer seemed a possibility in my life. At my age there was very little left to kill.”
Charles Bukowski

“A slave is one who waits for someone to come and free him.”

“The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it’s profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater.”
Frank Zappa

“The right of a nation to kill a tyrant in case of necessity can no more be doubted than to hang a robber, or kill a flea.”
John Adams

Bertrand de Jouvenel

"It is terrible to contemplate how few politicians are hanged."
GK Chesterton

"I predict that the Bush administration will be seen by freedom-wishing Americans a generation or two hence as the hinge on the cell door locking up our freedom. When my children are my age, they will not be free in any recognizably traditional American meaning of the word. I’d tell them to emigrate, but there’s nowhere left to go. I am left with nauseating near-conviction that I am a member of the last generation in the history of the world that is minimally truly free."
Donald Sensing

"The only way to live free is to live unobserved."
Etienne de la Boiete

"History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid."
Dwight D. Eisenhower

"To put it simply, the Left is the stupid and the insane, led by the evil. You can’t persuade the stupid or the insane and you had damn well better fight the evil."

"There is no better way to stamp your power on people than through the dead hand of bureaucracy. You cannot reason with paperwork."
David Black, from Turn Left For Gibraltar

"If the laws of God and men, are therefore of no effect, when the magistracy is left at liberty to break them; and if the lusts of those who are too strong for the tribunals of justice, cannot be otherwise restrained than by sedition, tumults and war, those seditions, tumults and wars, are justified by the laws of God and man."
John Adams

"The limits of tyranny are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress."
Frederick Douglass

"Give me the media and I will make of any nation a herd of swine."
Joseph Goebbels

“I hope we once again have reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: As government expands, liberty contracts.”
Ronald Reagan

"Ain't no misunderstanding this war. They want to rule us and aim to do it. We aim not to allow it. All there is to it."
NC Reed, from Parno's Peril

"I just want a government that fits in the box it originally came in."
