The Long March triumphant

Humble apologies to the esteemed and estimable Robert Spencer, whose typically excellent “election” post-mort I found nearly impossible to hew to proper fair-use strictures with.

John Della Volpe, a hard-Left pollster and author of a deathless tome entitled FIGHT: How Gen Z is Channeling Their Fear & Passion to Save America, is claiming that his favorite age group saved the midterm elections for those who love skyrocketing inflation, open borders, rising crime, international ridicule and brinksmanship, and accelerating authoritarianism. Della Volpe tweeted,

“One thing I know already. If not for voters under 30 … tonight WOULD have been a Red Wave. CNN National House Exit Poll R+ 13 65+ R+ 11 45-64 D +2 30-44 D +28 18-29 #GenZ did their job.” He added, “& young #millennials :)”

If Della Volpe’s numbers are correct, and 64% of voters between the ages of 18 and 29 really voted for Democrats, then one thing is clear: the corruption and politicization of our educational system has worked.

What he is crowing about is the apparent fact that the voting group with the least life experience and the most recent subjection to the Leftist indoctrination that dominates America’s educational system ended up voting as it was brainwashed to do. Gee, that’s terrific, if you like evidence of the success of the relentless propagandizing of a vulnerable and impressionable captive audience, but neither John Della Volpe nor anyone else should be proud of it. What it shows is not that the Leftist case is compelling or persuasive; it shows that patriotic Americans have been far too complacent in allowing public schools to become centers of Leftist indoctrination and hatred of our own nation and heritage.

People have awakened to this in large numbers in recent years as the Left has, as always, overplayed its hand. Angry parents began showing up at school board meetings in large numbers to protest the imposition of race-hate propaganda, aka Critical Race Theory, in public schools, as well as the presence of outright and unmistakable pornography in the guise of “gender-affirming” literature. This got so embarrassing for the Left that Gestapo chief Merrick Garland, that indefatigable foe of “white supremacists” (as soon as he can find any), actually sicced the FBI on those parents as if they were a terrorist threat.

But this endeavor has been going on since long before Garland first put on his jackboots and resolved to destroy the republic. In the 1960s, Leftists began what Communist activist Rudi Dutschke indelibly dubbed “the Long March Through the Institutions.” In China, Communist leader Mao Zedong began the Long March in 1934 to evade nationalist forces; the term, however, came to be associated with his slow, steady, patient rise to power, culminating in the Communist takeover of mainland China in 1949. The Long March Through the Institutions was the same kind of slow, steady takeover, as Communists, leftists, and their allies gradually gained control of America’s colleges and universities, its primary and secondary educational systems, its popular culture, and above all its ever-growing federal bureaucracy.

This has created a situation in which those who oppose this multifarious and all-encompassing establishment are universally derided virtually everywhere one turns: in what are supposed to be objective and impartial news broadcasts; in lessons at every level of the educational system about the nation’s history, present condition, and future prospects; in movies, popular music, and more. All of the late-night comedians who host talk shows are part of this camp, and they hobnob with the political elites, and yet they still posture as if they were plucky outsiders going up against a stultified and stultifying entrenched orthodoxy.

I myself, along with many of you folks as well, know all too well that the origins of fascist Amerika v2.0 are to be found in our warped and corrupted “education” establishment, from K-12 right up through the universities and colleges, all of which was long since coopted successfully in accordance with Gramsci’s brilliantly sinister thesis. Unless and until this has been addressed and rectified, there can be no real hope for America That Was, nor for those of us who cherish her still.

I did somehow contrive to leave the closing ‘graphs out of my excessive excerpting, so as to provide y’all at least SOME “rest” you could click on over and read. But hey, it wasn’t easy.

JD Rucker sneaks a peek at life in post-truth America.

Many are saying this is Donald Trump’s fault. Those who are saying that and jumping on the DeSantis bandwagon are falling into a trap. That’s NOT to say I’m against DeSantis or for Trump for 2024. I like them both and have challenges with both of them as well. But the rising anti-Trump sentiment is being manufactured by the powers-that-be, and it has very little to do with Trump himself.

The powers-that-be didn’t just see this election as a way to salvage Democrat power. The bigger fish that they wanted to fry was us. MAGA Republicans, America First patriots, Trump supporters…whatever you want to label those who supported people like Mastriano, Lake, Don Bolduc, Tiffany Smiley, and other America First candidates were the real targets. They want us splintered. They want the GOP Establishment to continue to manage our side of the political fence for the Uniparty Swamp.

This election was mostly about shutting us up and making us fall in line with Mitch McConnell, Karl Rove, Paul Ryan, and the rest of the GOPe power brokers. This isn’t about Republican versus Democrat. This was about protecting the powers-that-be, the globalist elite cabal that manages the Biden-Harris regime and the Uniparty Swamp.

The problem I didn’t anticipate, this problem that is manifesting very clearly now, is that I thought they’d have to stick their necks out too far to steal these elections. They did stick their necks out even further than they did in 2020, but my fatal mistake was not realizing there would be so few willing to call them out for it. I didn’t realize until now that the false narratives were already pre-planned. They are busy herding the vast majority of Republicans into an anti-Trump, pro-DeSantis election post-mortem debate and far too many are willingly being led to that ideological slaughter.

For the past five years, I’ve been doing whatever I can to stay just below the radar. Call me a coward, but I’ve always tried to stay in my own little corner of digital conservative media, content to not get too far into the spotlight for fear of my family being targeted. I refuse to speak lies or to go along with the mainstream narrative, so I figured I’d speak the truth to a relatively small audience, big enough to feed my family but not big enough to draw the ire of cancel culture, the Deep State, or the Principalities and Powers. I figured if I wasn’t really a threat that I wouldn’t get raided at 4am by the FBI.

If you suspect the red tsunami didn’t happen because the powers-that-be wouldn’t allow it to happen, then please know that you’re not alone. There will be those on the left but especially on the right who will tell you that you’re mistaken. They’ll say you’re just coping. They’ll point to a dozen different reasons why the red tsunami failed to materialize, but stolen elections aren’t among those. They’re wrong, and many of them will know they’re wrong which means they’re lying to you. Stay firm with your beliefs. Express them if you have the courage. But one thing is certain. The gloves need to come off. Our nation is in jeopardy and far too few are willing to do what it takes to save it.

The gloves do most certainly need to come off, for good. Which doesn’t necessarily have to involve shooting, even yet, but most likely will at some point. Be all that as it may, there can be no doubt that our “elections” are indeed rigged, either through direct ballot tampering and fraud or via the modalities I mentioned earlier: decades-long Leftist indoctrination of our kids in the government schools and universities; propaganda relentlessly blasting forth from every pop-culture/entertainment media outlet; and the myriad fabrications and falsehoods promulgated by Fake News “journalists.”

The Great Divide

Fran gets down to the nitty-gritty of it for us.

Well, it’s finally here: Election Day 2022. Until late this evening, those of us unwilling to break the law can know very little about what’s taking place. Unfortunately, there are quite a few who are willing to break the law. Whether they can cheat sufficiently to retain their grip on the federal Leviathan will be the determinant of much that follows. They managed it in 2020; we must not assume that they can’t do it again.

It’s part of the cleavage that has riven the American people into two mutually hostile camps.

The division isn’t principally a matter of ideology, or of attachment to particular government policies. It’s mainly about self-concept.

We in the Right mostly adhere to the original conception of the United States as The Land of the Free. There are a few paternalists among us, but the great majority of us simply want to be left alone in our private pursuits. In consequence, what we want from government at all levels is to stay the BLEEP! away from us. Keep your cotton-pickin’ hands off our wallets and stick to keeping order in the streets. We can manage our own affairs without your “help.”

Over there on the Left, they’re mainly persons who hold “an assumption of differential rectitude” (cf. Thomas Sowell). They regard themselves as our moral superiors. In their minds, that entitles them to boss us around. Questioning their self-assessment provokes behavior decent persons would prefer not to face. However, not questioning their self-assessment allows them to assume that we’re okay with having them run our lives.

This cleavage in the American people is bringing about a cleavage in the nation. It’s assumed a fairly definite geographic shape. Those preponderant in one region are looked upon with disdain (at best) by those preponderant in the other. The current trend in intra-national relocations is slowly but steadily reinforcing that division. It’s also providing grounds for intensified intra-national hostilities. If you needed something to lose sleep over, you’re welcome.

None of this should be news to any Gentle Reader of Liberty’s Torch. The driving processes have been at work for decades. What matters most is the division between the moral visions of Red and Blue America. Yes, such divisions have existed before. But never has one side preached to itself that its superiority justifies the subjugation of the other by any means necessary.

A hell of a thing, innit, when those whose sole desire is to be left alone to live as they see fit must contend with a fanatical, über-arrogant opposition whose Prime Directive is that it must never, ever leave anybody alone. Really, though, the hell of it is that only one side can legitimately lay claim to being the contemporary representatives of the vision laid out for America by its Founding Fathers in the DoI and the US Constitution. Which goes a long way towards explicating the visceral, frothing opposition to those things, as well as the Founders themselves, on the part of the Goosesteppin’ Left.

A sneak peek at Schlichter’s new book, We’ll Be Back: The Fall and Rise of America. All boldface in the excerpts mine, by the way.

Will America Fall With A Bang Or A Whimper?
Radio host and writer Kurt Schlichter’s latest book, ‘We’ll Be Back: The Fall and Rise of America,’ games out many scenarios that could lead to the country’s collapse with illuminating and even amusing results.

Although entertaining on its own, Schlichter’s crash course in classical history has a deeper point that applies to today. Like Rome, America will fall, but this fall won’t be anything sudden or even perceptible to most people. He explains that America’s fall will probably “be a transformational change. … The old ways can simply stop meeting the needs of the present, and something different replaces them.” For the past three decades, Schlichter charts the mounting corruption of the American government, the departure from constitutional limits, and the growing unrest among Americans, particularly conservatives. Even if these problems are fixed, the system will be different than it was in the early ’90s.

Even though President Trump turned away from this apparent trajectory somewhat, Schlichter acknowledges that Trump’s administration suffered from personnel issues for his first two years, and then was sunk by Covid-19 and trusting the experts. Now, “when Biden was sort-of elected, the Democrats pushed hard as they could to the left even though the voters had seen fit to literally provide them the barest imaginable legislative majority.” Consequently, certain checks on political abuses like the Electoral College, election integrity measures, the filibuster, and the authority of elected officials (vs. unelected technocrats) are being challenged or eliminated.

This brings Schlichter to today’s precious present in which an ascendent leftist elite imposes its will on a resistant population. Indeed, the global response to Covid offered a taste of this, as national governments stripped populations of most of their freedoms in the name of public health. What distinguishes the U.S. from other nations, however, is that Americans have the right to bear arms. For Schlichter, this is the ultimate check on power: “They [Americans] understand that the decision to allow or disallow any act by the government ultimately resides with themselves.”

Americans like to tell themselves that cozy lie, but absent a credible and somber threat to resort to those sharply-curtailed 2A rights if and when they must, all the guns ever made add up to no more than empty bluster, easily laughed off by our tormenters as just more hot air expelled by unserious, contemptible blowhards.

This leads him to think that a time will come soon when violence breaks out. He grants that quite a few things will need to happen before this happens: “What this [a civil war] means is that for America to reach a state of tyranny, there must not only be massive and systemic violations but, simultaneously, the elimination of any meaningful ability to address those wrongs, either under the Constitution or otherwise.”

Um. I really don’t have to point out the gaping hole in the premise here, do I?

It’s at this point that Schlichter’s role as polemicist turns into one of a prophet, forecasting a variety of outcomes in the near future. First, he describes an America captured by the hard left, which brings tensions to a breaking point. Unfettered by the constitutional checks and balances, the Democrats would wreck the economy with uncontrolled deficit spending, permanently restrict individual freedoms, and refuse to enforce laws on protected classes. Any modicum of prosperity, peace, and stability would immediately be lost in an anarchic frenzy.

Huh. Maybe I do at that. Kurt speaks as if those “massive and systemic violations,” the intentionally rubbled economy, uncontrolled deficit spending, &c are mere grim but as yet unrealized future possibilities, instead of having long since come to pass, every last one of them.

Assuming none of these prognostications come to pass and the center holds for a little while longer, Schlichter concludes that Americans will have three choices: restore the constitutional order, elect a right-wing authoritarian leader, or elect a left-wing authoritarian leader. Since he discussed the last option already, he spends some time on the second option, the conservative authoritarian. He likens this to the reign of Augustus Caesar, which, at least in the beginning, had many things going for it. In one fell swoop, an authoritarian leader could fix the problems of crime, immigration, woke indoctrination, energy and water shortages, and people like Ilhan Omar holding office. However, as Schlichter concludes, “Yes, an authoritarian can make the trains run on time for a while, but that kind of regime has to derail eventually.” A few decent emperors may have succeeded Augustus, but none of them were quite as effective.

I’ve been leaning towards Option 2 for a good while now myself, albeit reluctantly. The wise old quip about socialism—you can vote your way into it, but must shoot your way out—holds equally true for all other flavors of authoritarianism. That stipulated, in order to undertake any truly serious effort to restore American Constitutional liberty to ourselves and our posterity, we must first rid ourselves of the insidious threat to freedom and individual self-determination posed by our “Enemies, domestic” on the Left. And there’s only one sure way to achieve that most laudable of goals: by suppressing Leftists and Leftist cant ruthlessly, ferociously, every time and everywhere they dare to rear their ugly heads.

I’ve often stated that I have no good or easy solutions to propose for this crippling conundrum; this is not an admission of intellectual shortcoming or inadequacy on my part, mind. It’s simply because it’s become my firm belief that, at this late stage of the game, there ARE NO good or easy solutions left to us. Henceforth, every choice will be difficult, costly, and damaging in one way or another.

At each and every turn, we readily descry a path fraught with hazard, uncertainty, pain, and wretchedness. Through a perfectly natural human reluctance to confront the ugly reality of our situation, to relax into comforting fantasy about where we now are and what we now must do, we have painted ourselves into a very tight corner indeed.

One thing is certain: carrying on under the delusional fiction that we still live in the America we grew up in—a stumbling but still essentially sound America with a badly warped but still basically functional system—will get us noplace we want to be, and gain us nothing worth having. No matter which way we finally jump or what we finally decide to do, there’s trouble up the road for sure.

Not to go on hammering away on this tired “lockdown amnesty” drum well after the drum-head has gotten all ripped and torn asunder, but anytime I run across a double-barreled scattergun blast of righteous rage this blunt, tightly focused, and well-crafted, I just can’t resist posting up at least a little taste of it here.

Ma’am, you have me all wrong. I’m not interested in “I told you so” gloating. What I want is retribution. There is no “moving forward” without jail time for the people who did what they did to our liberty. The only way forward is through trials. We want discovery, we want evidence on the table, and we want accountability. We want a jury of your peers to decide what fate awaits those of you who killed seniors with your insane policies of putting Covid-positive patients in nursing homes, fired nurses for not taking useless vaccines, lied to us about what those vaccines would do, and retarded the development of babies for three years–babies who now have speech delays due to never seeing anyone’s mouths move for three years. We don’t want to gloat. We want revenge.

If you think the internet conversations you’ve been in are “unpleasant and heated,” you better hope we don’t get the tribunals for crimes against humanity that we want.

There will be no forgiving the attacks on our liberty. I do not forgive the government declaring privately owned businesses “non-essential.” I do not forgive being called a “murderer” for not wanting to wear a mask wherever I go. I do not forgive the people who terrorized my family members and made them fear for their jobs over an experimental vaccine that DOES NOT WORK. You want me to move on? The answer is a solid, HELL NO. There will be no moving on until the people who implemented the policies and the people who championed them pay a steep price. Until then, I will hold this grudge forever. You people encouraged family members to reject each other. YOU DID THAT, EMILY! YOU!

Lauren Chen found an old tweet of Oster’s that suggested family pressure to coerce people into taking vaccines. “Individual family pressure,” she wrote. “Maybe vaccine requirements for things you want to do (domestic air/train travel, work, sports events: yes. We can have those without shame.”

The choices you made for all of us, Professor Oster, were not “complicated.” They were evil. And we are a people who will not tolerate evil and we will not offer it amnesty. You showed us who you are. We believe you. And we will not rest until every one of you has experienced some form of retribution for what you have wrought on this country and your neighbors. We will not work with you. We are not your friends. We are not “together” with you and we will not be moving forward with you. We will do whatever we can to make sure you have no power to do the kinds of things you’ve done in the past to anyone ever again and we will constantly remind everyone of what you did. You shut down playgrounds, Emily. You stood by and watched mothers be arrested for taking their babies out to get fresh air and have some time on the swings. You are the baddies, here. Not us.

PREACH it, sister. I wish I could believe that the day of our vengeance for the myriad atrocities committed against us from sea to shining sea will someday dawn, but alas, we all know it ain’t gonna. Not as long as we’re content to placidly sit on our duffs hoping the Republicunts will see to it for us, it ain’t.

Update! On that note, I have to say I wouldn’t at all mind seeing the asshole in this vid dragged behind a pickup truck for a cpl-three miles.

The backstory makes it even worse:

The shocking moment a member of staff at a crematorium interrupted a funeral in order to berate mourners for being too close together has been caught on camera.

Craig Bicknell, from Milton Keynes, revealed he had moved his chair in order to comfort his mother at the funeral of his father Alan Wright on 2nd October at Crownhill Crematorium, before other mourners followed suit.

But it wasn’t long before a member of staff interrupted the service by waving his arms and shouting at the mourners to ‘move the chairs back’.

Craig said he and his brother Paul were left devastated by the ‘telling off’, as they grieved the loss of their father who died from a heart attack in September.

Writing on Facebook he said: ‘I can sit in a restaurant, I can sit in a pub, I can live at her house, I can travel in a limousine to the crematorium with 6. But when I want to give my mum a cuddle at dads funeral, a man flies out mid service shouting stop the service and makes us split…A devastating day made even worse.’

A spokesperson for Milton Keynes Council said: ‘We are sorry to have upset this family. We don’t usually step in if a guest needs to be comforted by another family member and in this instance should have taken a more considered approach.’

Uh huh. You’re nothing like as “sorry” as you damned well oughta be, you filthy rat-bastard. In a better, more sane and civilized world, you would’ve been dogpiled with a quickness by everyone in attendance, closing out the festivities by having your ass kicked up between your shoulder blades. Know what I’m sorry for, myself? That this is NOT that world.

Disgusting, despicable, and purely heinous, plain and simple. “Forgive” the dimestore dictators who blandly committed outrages such as this? All in the name of a way-overhyped “plague” with an IFR that averages out to well under one (1) percent? Not on your life, bub.

Resistance is (NOT) futile

Or, in Al Sharpton’s well-known malapropism, resist we much.

Of all the lessons that have been learned over the course of the past almost-three-years now, there is one over-arching one. The one they – our tormentors – are desperate people not learn.

It is that resistance is not futile.

That resistance worked.

Enough of us didn’t wear a “mask” and by doing that showed the rest that “mask” wearing was medically absurd. We didn’t die. Many of us didn’t even catch the cold that was used as the pretext for insisting that everyone “mask.” We showed our faces, often being shown the door for doing so. But we showed them we were right.

That wearing a “mask” just because they said so was servile. That it furthered evil.

Enough of us refused to submit to being “vaccinated” – as it was pitched to us but turned out it wasn’t, since these drugs don’t immunize. We refused for a number of sound secondary and tertiary reasons, chief among them being well-founded misgivings about the trustworthiness of the pharmaceutical cartels pushing them, that had been immunized against liability for any harms caused by them and which had a record of harming people in the past with their drugs. But most of all, we resisted because we objected to these drugs being pushed on us. To being told we must roll up our sleeves and let them inject us with anything they please.

We understood that if they could require – that is to say, compel – people to submit to this “vaccine” then they could in future use that precedent to compel people to submit to other “vaccines.”

To procedures. To anything at all.

That our bodies were in a very real sense their property, as a pet dog or cat’s body is the property of its owner. As cattle are owned by the rancher.

By resisting – by refusing – we asserted ownership – of ourselves.

That was the principle on the line – and we “unvaccinated” put ourselves on the front line, to defend it. It cost some of us jobs. Others family ties. It cost us a lot. But that cost was worth every bit of it.

And because enough of us paid it, it became much more difficult for them to continue imposing it.

Resistance is never futile when rights are on the line.

It is essential.

Americans used to regard this as a kind of foundational principle. It is elaborated at length in America’s founding documents, the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. There is nothing in either about doing what we’re told just because they say so – and much to the contrary.

This spirit – this attitude – once defined Americans, as distinct from the bovine servility of other peoples, trained to do as they were told, just because they were told to do it. It is what made America what it was and unlike anywhere else. It is why people from other places came here rather than stayed where they were.

This is one of Peters’ very best essays, of which you should definitely read the all. As hopeful, as positive as it is, though, none of us refuseniks should make the mistake of thinking The Power isn’t going to try again. And again, and again, until we either knuckle under or remove their worthless, sorry asses from the equation and get their fucking jackboots off of our necks for good, by any and every means necessary.

A Woke military is worse than no military at all

Man, this decline-and-fall business isn’t turning out to be nearly as amusing as it looks like being in all those old movies about the Roman Empire in its final days.

Our Disunity Is a National Security Threat
The military now reflects the selfishness and fragmentation of our culture. Welcome to the looting-the-treasury phase of imperial decline.

In the lawsuit challenging Harvard’s affirmative action practices, a group of senior retired military officers filed an amicus brief, which argued that maintaining affirmative action was a “national security imperative.” Those signing off include four former chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, six former superintendents of the service academies, and 17 retired four-star generals, including Wesley Clark and William McRaven.

A ““national security imperative”? SERIOUSLY? Sorry, fellas, but I’m gonna need you to explain to me, in detail, exactly how you arrived at THAT bizarre conclusion.

Recruiting an adequate number of troops and increasing their quality also seems pretty important. But we know that recent efforts at recruiting have been a disaster, amplified by the mass expulsion of troops who refused the COVID vaccine.

While things carried on for a while out of habit, eventually the patriotic, mostly white, rural Americans who formed the backbone of the military started doing an about face. Polls show that fewer veterans now want their kids to follow in their footsteps. Conservative Republicans, once the most stalwart supporters of the military, have lately become more critical and less trusting.

No real mystery about that. Hell, I’ve wondered for a while now what the hell any new enlistee might think he’s signing up to defend with his very life, literally, and what the hell might be keeping career soldiers in the ranks nowadays.

Declining interest in service by conservative and white Americans is not irrational. Why fight for a governing class that hates you, deems you the central political problem, seeks to humiliate you, and disrespects your ancestors at every opportunity? Why serve an American empire that pursues foreign wars like those in Iraq and Ukraine that have almost no relationship to actual national security and explicitly serve a left-wing ideology?

One might respond that military service is good even under these conditions in order to get useful training and make a living. But even under such a self-serving standard, the incentive to do so is declining, as white men within the military are subject to a rigged game, where it is harder to get ahead, and the old standards of excellence no longer matter. This will only get worse without a dramatic reset in the culture of our military and political leaders.

During the War on Terror, lavish praise for military service flowed from a widespread feeling of guilt. After the 9/11 attacks, the country wanted safety and revenge—but, other than service members and their families, very few Americans carried the burdens of war. The civilian-military gap was amplified by the increasing self-perception of servicemembers as “warriors,” rather than mere soldiers. From this romantic view of military service as a superior way of life undertaken by superior people, we see the first seedlings of a warrior aristocracy.

A constitutional republic and a warrior aristocracy are polar opposites. The European aristocracy found its origins in rewards for battlefield merit, where particular acts of bravery led to a title bestowed on the hero and his heirs, as well as land, the right to income from taxes for land-bound peasants, and exemption from taxes otherwise owed to the king.

Since every national military establishment must necessarily be representative of the broader society it both serves and is drawn from, how could anybody find any of this at all shocking? As corruption, venality, and self-absorption have gradually become endemic in American society, its military has declined right along with it, in direct proportion. How could any reasonable, rational person possibly expect otherwise? Thus:

In exchange for the prestige and perquisites of military service, one thing is absolutely essential: loyalty to the country, the Constitution, and the American people. Without patriotism, the military becomes a very sophisticated gang, one that easily can be turned against the American people. Some will scoff that such a prospect is unthinkable, but one would have thought General Mark Milley undermining the commander-in-chief or a Marine selling his services to the Chinese were impossible too.

As I have warned for years, the Fed has been staging a massive controlled demolition of the US economy. Why? Because the US economy must be diminished in order to make way for the “Great Reset,” a term created by the World Economic Forum to describe an unprecedented paradigm shift in the global economy and how it operates, and a complete upending of society. The end game is openly admitted – A one world digital currency system and one world governance controlled by a league of corporate partners working in concert with politicians.

This is not conspiracy theory, this is conspiracy reality. This is undeniable fact.

The Fed does not care about the US economy, its loyalty is to a global agenda and it takes its marching orders from a consortium of banking institutions called the Bank for International Settlements (BIS). This is how global central banking policies are coordinated to either work in harmony to create artificial stability, or to work in conflict, creating artificial crisis events.

The truth is, the foundations of global governance already exist, but what the establishment does not have is public acceptance and total submission to their authority. What the banks want is to create a crisis so profound that the masses will run to THEM, begging for help. Once a population begs their captors for relief or resolution and it is given, it’s far less likely that the people will revolt against those captors in the future.

Psychologically, the central banks and the establishment elites are trying to create a planetary Stockholm Syndrome, and we are seeing it already with the Federal Reserve being painted as the “shield” holding back the tide of economic ruin that they actually engineered.

The initial stages of the Great Reset have already been launched. With the economic bubble expanded to incredible levels, the Fed is now staging an aggressive implosion using interest rate hikes into economic weakness.

What to do, what to do, then? Is there really NO good news at all to be found out there these days? Well, actually…

Despite numerous claims that conservatives would “do nothing” to stop the rise of medical fascism in the name of the covid pandemic, almost half the states in the US stood their ground against the mandates and the push for vaccine passports. If this had not happened, America would look like China does today with endless lockdowns and draconian tracking apps. I don’t think enough people understand just how close we came to losing every freedom we have left – We were on the doorstep of an Orwellian hell, and probably civil war.

The red state defiance of covid restrictions represented an organized action at the state and interstate level. What if these states did the same thing in the face of the economic crisis?

Without organization at the state level to create alternatives to the mainstream economy the plight of the public becomes much more daunting and dangerous. Rather than trying to start completely from scratch, there are solutions that can be pursued at the state level to help mitigate the disaster.

And then he lists a few. I see no way on earth the first will ever be allowed to come to pass, but the rest of ’em I don’t think FederalGovCo has a whole hell of a lot of say about. It all comes back to the same thing in the final analysis: a long-overdue and most welcome reassertion of State authority and independence from the bloated and patently illegitimate central government, which is by definition a return to the proper Constitutional order envisioned by the Founders.

Now here in the Untied Staatz, we still pretend that elections matter. In truth, the only elections that actually -do- matter are the local ones…school board (need to fire ALL of them fuckers nationwide IMO, Jes’ Sayin’) Selectmen, the usual. Hell Sherriff is the most important elections at the local level that we have still. The others are all pretty much make-work. In fact most shit that needs fixing usually gets done on the local level via co-operation of the affected parties. Quite a few years ago, can’t remember which town it was, but in the Midwest, there was a town with a pothole issue.

Bad problems. The local Board of Selectmen or Council or whatever they called themselves said there was no money in the budget for it. That’d it’d take til the next year before they could do anything, meanwhile the populous was having tire and rim damage on the regular. The only ones happy with the situation was the local Tire King.

So, the locals got sick of waiting around. They went to Ye Olde Local Asphalt Company, and got with the owner, who did a deal to fill some of the potholes in exchange for some labor and some landscaping done by another Local Landscaping Company, who provided materials, while the locals provided the labor. Asphalt guy got his yard redone, the potholes got filled, the local Boy Scouts provided labor and got a Merit Badge out of it, and everyone was happy.

Not so much. The Township levied fines and a bunch of ‘other bullshit’ to include threatening the business licenses of the two companies. And by the way, did I forget to mention the Chairman of the Town Council was the owner of the local Tire King? Yeeeeeah. They even said that the patches were ‘substandard’ and needed to be removed.

Shit stopped cold when the death threats started getting reely reelz. The Sherriff stepped in and said it wasn’t going to fly… Last word I heard was the Tire King went out of biddness due to a total and utter boycott, nevermind the local yoots who took to vandalizing the building with a certain enthusiasm on the regular…as well as the owner’s house. His family moved shortly after as well, as they were effectively shunned by all the locals after, as well they should be.

THATS what’s going to save this country BTW. Locals doing local things for each other.
And shunning? Local embarrassment? Shit that needs to make a comeback.
Shit worked.

Now, rant off. Went today and did a hangout with Mike from Cold Fury. Had a great time with him and his brother. We went and threw rounds for about two hours. The weather was perfect, a warm 76 degrees, the fall going in full ‘fall mode’ i.e. smelling the locals burning the leaves in the distance, the colors… hell –everything– Literally a perfect day.

We zeroed our M-4s, and shot the hell out of my hushed Ruger 10/22. I got a barrel shroud from a company a while back that’s not a suppressor per se, but a shroud. It -acts- like a suppressor, but isn’t. Even got the ATF letter stating as such. Could have fooled the hell out of me, all you can hear is the action slapping back n’forth on it. Quiet Quiet. It also doesn’t cost crazy like a suppressor… those things are retardedly expensive… nevermind the fiery hoops the Asshole DotGov wants you to jump through to buy what essentially is a hearing-saving device. Only issue I have is the patrol scope I dug out of my ‘box o’scopes’, the damned thing is soooooo out of whack, I’ll have to wait til I get home to my proper tools to remount it. It’s so bad, that I was aiming to the left, and the right target three feet away took the bullet. That or the barrel is irretrievably bent (hint: it ain’t).

The pistol shooting was good, except for my Glock-Notaglock (Poly80). The slide lock popped up a few times in the middle of shooting, locking the slide to the rear. Not sure if thats a spring issue or what. Hasn’t happened before, and the workaround was to just rest my thumb on it. However, that was a workaround, and again,I have to wait to get home. Probably look at a replacement there if needed. Might have been a one off, but it did happen a total of 5 times out of 40 rounds…that’s too many for me.

So going to see him again before I roll home.

Yes indeedy, and a good time was had by all, as the saying goes. Nothing quite like time spent out on the ol’ backyard shooting range on a nice fall afternoon. Situated where me and Jeff are here in the warm embrace of the Cradle of Secession, it’s perfectly lawful to go out back and pop off 5-600 rounds of various calibers in an afternoon; the neighbors are all of like inclination, and on any given weekend once one of us starts plinking, everybody else in the area joins right in with a quickness. It’s truly a beautiful thing, that’s what. The first section above fairly screams for this BTO chestnut as musical accompaniment, methinks.

Yeh, yeh, given my post title I coulda just as easily used John Cougar Mellonhead instead of BTO. But I never could stand that limousine-liberal douchebag’s crappy music, and wouldn’t want it stinking up the blog.

Bugs are on the menu again… Why does the World Economic Forum have such a weird obsession with making our kids eat them?

First, let me make something very clear: Bugs are not food. You should not eat bugs. They are insects. They belong on the ground, or in the air, or wherever the heck they live. They do not belong on your dinner plate.

You will eat bugs to stop Climate Change.

Climate Change is nothing more than an exaggeration of the weather. The weather is not going to kill you unless you have the misfortune to get struck by lightning, hit on the head by a hailstone, or caught in a flood. Chances are, a warm summer’s night is not going to act like the local axe murderer. Bad energy policy is a different matter. You might freeze to death if you have no heating in your home, which, ironically, the same bug-pushers now want to take away. Switzerland has threatened to throw people in prison for three years if they turn up their heating to 19 degrees Celsius (around 66 Fahrenheit)!

But back to the bugs.

You might be wondering – how will eating bugs change the weather?

The official World Economic Forum line is that eating meat is accelerating the effects of Climate Change. Therefore, to fix ‘the climate’ humans need to reduce their consumption of meat and replace it with a climate-friendly substitute. There are a few on offer, but the favourite is insect protein.

These agenda-driven bureaucrats are doing their best to promote insect-gorging as being ‘good’ for you.

If you believe the hype, they’re nutritious, full of protein, and still very tasty. And there is a great range of bugs out there for you to try. You could eat crickets, or grind them up into a powder to replace plain white flour or self-raising flour (what’s wrong with normal flour?). You could even attempt some highly nutritious cockroach milk on your cereal. Maybe you enjoy a bit of seasoning on your meals? Well, instead of getting out the salt and pepper, grab some lightly-acidic ants instead. You could even top those meals off with some protein-packed mealworms.

In recent weeks, it was revealed that canteens in 1,000 Australian schools have started selling cricket chips produced by the company Circle Harvest. Students are being encouraged to eat these chips, which are laced with cricket protein, and are told by teachers that they are healthy.

In a video from one school of three young students eating these chips, a teacher can be heard off camera saying: ‘Chips are great, aren’t they? And these chips are even better because they think they’re better for you!’

Another teacher is then heard saying: ‘Did you know they’re made from little insects?’ When one of the students replies ‘no’, the teacher goes on to say ‘Can you taste it? No, you can’t. It tastes like normal CCs doesn’t it?’

It is clear that these people are doing everything they can to normalise eating bugs from a young age. As we all know by now, indoctrination starts early.

Perzackly so. And see, this is how the Wizards of Shitlib always and forever work their warped magic on us: incrementalism. Instead of simply mandating eating zee bugs right from the git-go, first they foist ’em off on our children, secure in the knowledge that, once the young ‘uns have been manipulated into being on board with this nonsense and are fully inured to it, those kids are then going to go home and start in wheedling and cajoling Mom and Dad as to why don’t we eat zee bugs at home, pleasepleaseplease can we get some, pretty pleeeaaase?

Next thing you know, there’s a fucking Fun-Size bag of Cricket Chip Snakz™ sitting on a shelf in your pantry, and you’re scratching your head in befuddlement over exactly how the bleedin’ hell this shit ever came to be. When you get right down to it, it’s not at all dissimilar to how we’ve ended up where we are with Obamacare, really; as I long ago predicted, once the foot is in the door, it will come to seem commonplace, then accepted, then a completely immutable fact of life. And then, next thing you know…

“I think it’s probably here to stay,” said Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, a close ally of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and a former chair of the GOP’s campaign arm.

Anyone could easily see this woebegone day coming when the GOPe quietly adjusted “Repeal Obamacare” to “Repeal AND REPLACE Obamacare.” I said so back then, not that I’m bragging about my astonishing powers of clairvoyance or anything. At that point, the writing was on the wall, for anyone with eyes to see: Obamacare was here to stay. From here on out, future generations will simply take its existence as read, and will eventually come to regard any mention of doing away with it as nothing more nor less than daylight barking madness, the ravings of deranged individuals. Mark my words, people.

Take a Look Inside a Cricket Farm…Which Is Where Your Food Will Come From Soon

It’s astonishing how, by the time we normal folk first hear of a new Globalist Socialist initiative, it turns out there’s already a significant amount of infrastructure in place. Take eating bugs, for example. Did you know that there are currently sizable cricket farms in many parts of the world, including Canada and the United States? Or that cricket flour is already used in some foods?

For example, Entomo Farms in Canada currently produces a weekly harvest of 50 million crickets, which it mills into 9,000 pounds of “protein.” The owners plan to triple production within a year. Some of the “cricket flour” goes into pet foods, while some is added to foods made for human consumption. And some of the insects are used intact as seasoned snack foods. The cricket producer already sells its products under the brand name Actually Foods.

In all fairness, there seems to be much to recommend free-range cricket farming: farms require a fairly small footprint, crickets are fast breeders, cricket poop (“frass”) can be used as fertilizer, crickets and bugs carry very few diseases that can be transmitted to humans, and the critters have a range of uses. Crickets can be included in pet foods and treats. (I know my cat loves her some bugs.) Soy-heads can include chirpers in their diet as a protein source. And — my favorite — crickets can be fed to real food like tasty fish, chickens, and turkeys.

So what’s the problem? Glo-Socs aren’t simply trying to offer people another item on the menu to choose from; they want to eventually force us to eat bugs, which they will do by abolishing the raising of livestock. We know how this goes because we’ve seen this movie before. Glo-Socs target something for abolition — DDT, incandescent bulbs, internal combustion engines — make a politicized scientific effort to create a replacement, then ban the targeted product. Never mind that the crappy replacement they came up with is inferior and that no one would choose it over the original item. What’s the point of having all that power if you’re not going to use it, amirite?

Here’s where the dystopia sets in.

Not quite, no. To be precise about it, the dystopia was established long ago. This is merely the latest symptom of it, that’s all.

Letter from an obnoxious toerag — *Dear Neighbor: please indulge my obnoxious imposition*

Is there anything more insufferable than assholes so deeply, passionately in love with their own magnificent selves that they don’t even realize they’re assholes? “Narcissist” doesn’t even EGIN to cover this. I’ll say this much: if I lived in that neighborhood, there’d barely be any paint left on the sides of those EV twatmobiles by now, because I’d be keying the fucking things every day of the week and twice on Sundays. Mark Tokowski takes care of business on these arrogant, self-centered little pukes so I don’t have to.

The letter above, sent to people living on an unspecified street in an unspecified community, simply reeks of smugness. I would guess the four electric vehicle owners are young, as the bulk of the climate alarmism has been directed at school children, who are now becoming adults. During the school years they were never given more than one side of the climate debate, and so they do not know the the supposed science is unsettled, and that the warmists could be (very) wrong,

The impunity with which they presume that their neighbors have to change their lifestyles so that the virtue-signalling EV owners can do God’s work is off putting, to say the least. As the person who brought this letter to WUWT noted, the meeting they speak of was probably attended by four people, the EV owners.

It gets worse:

The pair to the left struck a blow for saving Mother Earth a few days ago by splashing a can of tomato soup on a Van Gogh painting, Sunflowers, valued at more than $50 million. They then glued their hands to either it or the wall or the floor – I am not clear. No worries, art lovers. Museums do not put valuable treasures at risk. This particular painting is sealed and covered with glass.

This is modern schooling at work, the kids having no clue how wrong they might be, and not having the good sense to see even what Michael Mann sees, that this sort of publicity is not good for their movement. Further, these narcissistic little brats need a good hard spanking delivered by a caring adult, one who will not indulge them in their fantastic ideas and actions. Ground the brats, that they might someday be grounded adults.

The mere fact that they claim that CO2 is some sort of monstrous agent that is causing the demise of our planet, while at the same time opposing nuclear and hydroelectric power, both of which are CO2-free substitutes, tells me that their enemy is not CO2, but rather fossil fuels.

Fossil fuels make our lives easier, make us richer and more comfortable and happy in our lives. They are the reason that our planet can support seven billion people. And that is what they are against. People.

That’s about the size of it, yeah. To add a little meat to Mark’s bare-bones assessment, a few more specifics: what they violently, reflexively oppose is happy, well-adjusted, gainfully employed, content people. White people. Adults. Heterosexual people. People who derive genuine pride and satisfaction from making a meaningful contribution to their society. Grateful people. Humble, unassuming people. People who are content to just live their lives in the normal, traditional fashion, without making much of a to-do over it or calling undue attention to themselves.

As one could easily guess, they hate their parents above all else. Sniveling toerags like these are the best argument I can think of in support of corporal punishment, because ignoring the Biblical admonition in my post title is exactly how useless, annoying excrescences like them are created in the first damned place.

Repeal the 17th—NOW

Ain’t gonna happen, of course, not without an epic cataclysm…most likely a bloody one. But while we’re just spitballing here, the 16th has to go too.

To Save America, Repeal the 17th Amendment

Last week we looked at the pernicious effects of the 16th amendment, and how for more than a century it has destroyed almost any chance the middle classes ever had of accumulating wealth, since their money is confiscated at the source, and has taught working Americans that the first call on the fruits of their labor belongs not to themselves and their families but to the federal government. (Real estate used to be the exception, although that too is now the province of the rich.)

Whereas the feds managed to scrape by from 1788, when the Constitution was ratified, to 1913, when the 16th was endorsed by 38 states (two more than the requisite number), on tariffs, and excise taxes, with only occasional resort to some sort of temporary income taxes, the way was now open for Washington to reach directly into the pockets of every American. This was a sea-change in the relationship of the federal government to the citizen, and the beginning of federal dominance over the very states which had given it birth and thus the entire population of the nation—not as members of sovereign states but as individuals.

The 16th, as several readers noted, was also significant in that it overturned the constitutional language regarding taxation under Article 1, Section 9: “No Capitation, or other direct, Tax shall be laid, unless in Proportion to the Census or enumeration herein before directed to be taken.” That went out the window with the 16th and its game-changing language that “the Congress shall have the power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.”

In other words, the idea that states could be subject to an individual “head count” tax of their residents only in direct proportion to their share of the overall population was now gone. This malevolent blunder turned out to be the first of several colossal blows to the nation-as-founded during the so-called “Progressive Era” headed by presidents Theodore Roosevelt (what in the world is he doing on Mount Rushmore?), the gloriously corpulent William Howard Taft, and the cadaverous Woodrow Wilson.

According to the liberal Khan Academy, the period was:

an era of intense social and political reform aimed at making progress toward a better society. Progressive Era reformers sought to harness the power of the federal government to eliminate unethical and unfair business practices, reduce corruption, and counteract the negative social effects of industrialization. During the Progressive Era, protections for workers and consumers were strengthened, and women finally achieved the right to vote.

That’s one way to look at it. The problem is, it’s looking at the era through the wrong end of the telescope by people who love the intentions and can afford to ignore the results. Left unquestioned is whether the federal government had the right under the Constitution to what it did. And the answer is clearly no—so it simply changed the Constitution via the perfectly legitimate amendment process, and induced a gullible and resentful populace to go along; recall that nobody thought the Income Tax had a snowball’s chance in hell of ratification, and yet it was ratified. (Don’t start yapping at me that the 16th was “illegally ratified.” It wasn’t, which makes things even worse.)

Which brings us to the 17th amendment. The relevant bit reads: “The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, elected by the people thereof, for six years; and each Senator shall have one vote. ” Prior to its ratification in 1913, the same year as the 16th and a spectacularly disastrous year for our real democracy, senators were chosen by the various state legislatures, in order to keep them tethered and answerable to their state governments: they were senators from the Great State of Whatever, not interchangeable “United States senators.”

I’ve been beating this particular dead horse for years hereabouts, and Walsh is perfectly correct: the 17th Amendment was the killshot for Constitutional governance, the Amendment that grotesquely flouted the core Founding concept of the sovereign States having their interests represented in the US government. As such, if you had to pick one specific development out of the myriad of ’em that cemented our status as a lowly, impotent Serf Class groaning under the immense weight of a bloated federal government whose power is without limit, whose expansion is perpetual, and whose intrusiveness is beyond challenge or even scrutiny, the 17th would have to be it.

There are two (2) primary obstacles standing in the way of any prospective restoration or rebirth of America That Was: the 17th Amendment, and the government “school” system. Unless and until those obstacles have been dealt with, the desperately needed American renaissance we all yearn so much to see will remain but a dream.

Patriotic counteraction

At base, it’s an intimidation campaign. The Usurpers want us in the Right to fear them: Oppose us too visibly or vocally, and we will make you suffer. And despite our numbers and their transparent intent, it’s having an effect.

What can a narrow-gauge commentator usefully say about it? “Don’t be intimidated” — ? It’s a laudable stance, but many in the Right have a lot to lose. Some very prominent Republicans and Trump associates have already lost heavily. Few of us are utterly invulnerable to the Regime.

I have this fantasy of a mass raid by American patriots on the DC Bastille, freeing the imprisoned and declaring that the end of the Regime’s Reign of Terror is here. Either it will end at once, or the Usurpers will face the severest imaginable retribution, from the top all the way down to the lowest third assistant gopher. But it’s uncertain that there are enough patriots, with enough steel in their spines, to take the risks involved with open eyes and stern hearts.

I am certain of this: Unless the intimidation campaign is shattered by patriotic counteraction, it will continue to intensify, and the Usurpers’ grip on the nation will tighten. Beyond that, I cannot say.

Indubitably so. This all ends when Real American decide they aren’t going to put up with it any longer. Not a moment before.

Movement, in the right direction

BREAKING: 14 Precincts In Alaska Ban Voting Machines…Votes Will Be Hand-Counted
Voters across the country continue to raise questions about voting tabulation machines.

Concerns about voting machines were only worsened this week as the CEO of an election software company, Konnech Corporations, was arrested for stealing poll worker data in Michigan.

The concerns over voting tabulation machines have led to calls for machine voting to be suspended until more thorough investigations are done to ensure that data is not being mishandled and that they accurately tabulate votes.

In a significant move that could lead to similar decisions being made across the country, the Matanuska-Susitna Borough Assembly passed an ordinance that will prohibit the use of voting tabulation machines and make poll workers hand-tabulate ballots for the upcoming midterm elections.

To no one’s surprise, the local Powers That Be are dragging their feet.

Borough officials determined that it would be a “great risk” to stop using machines and mandate hand-counting for this year’s borough election because there would be inadequate time “to properly prepare for a change of this magnitude,” according to a memo filed with the legislation. Instead, those changes are set to be in place for next November’s municipal election.

“Inadequate time”? How so, pray tell? Do your fucking jobs already, instead of spending so much of your time and energy kvelling and kvetching about the one and only move that might possibly renew the electorate’s faith in American election integrity, whydon’tcha. Hire some people, buy some pencils, and hey presto! Bob’s your uncle, mission accomplished.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it til I’m blue in the face: ridding ourselves of any type of “voting machine” and returning to the paper ballot MUST be Job One, everywhere. A shocking investigation by Axios published on Thursday found that Democrat operatives are running 51 ‘fake news’ websites under the guise of local news organizations.

The company running the sites, Local Report Inc. receives its content from The American Independent, an organization run by Democratic operatives and founded by David Brock, who is also the founder of Media Matters, a far-left pressure group that tries to ‘cancel’ Republican politicians and activists.

The organization’s websites pepper in politically biased stories with reports about the weather and local news, according to the Axios investigation.

The group claims that its mission is to bring ‘local, fact-based news’ back to cities across the country.

If a Demo-rat ever did accidentally find himself trapped in a room with an actual fact, he’d shit himself to death from sheer fright.

Back in the day, to suggest that brainwashing children was an essential component of the Left’s program to inculcate their hatred of America, Americans, and capitalism in future generations was to establish oneself in the minds of most as a paranoiac, a lunatic, and/or a conspiracy theorist with an at best tenuous grasp on reality. But those days are long gone; as it turns out, the conspiracy is real, the program is in place and beavering away…and yes, brainwashing our kids is a YUUUGE part of it. Exhibit A:

It’s a very simple graph, but it speaks to a deep sickness in society. Komodo Health Inc. has tracked over five years, from 2017 to 2021, the number of children who identify as “transgender” (that is, in purely medical terms, they suffer from gender dysphoria) has increased so dramatically that it cannot possibly be an organic development. Instead, we are witnessing the brainwashing of America’s youth—something coming from pop culture, their schools, and their peers.

We all know that young people are impressionable. Their minds are little sponges, they’ve been minimally affected by life’s realities, they are more likely to respond to experiences and information with emotions rather than reason, and they are extremely vulnerable to peer pressure. I’m not even going to spend 20 minutes hunting for authorities for each of those statements. Anyone who once was a child remembers that way of being and thinking, and anyone who has raised a child has seen those factors from a more objective, adult perspective.

Since the 1940s, in less serious (although sometimes still dangerous) ways, we’ve seen children’s undeveloped brains lead them to:

Swoon over Frank Sinatra

Swoon over The Beatles

Swoon over the Bay City Rollers

Eat Tide pods

Take the cinnamon challenge

Take extreme selfies in dangerous locations

Use nauseating amounts of Axe deodorant

Play the passing-out game

Pierce themselves all over

I could go on, but you get my drift. Make something a fad, and there is no end to what children will do. The current fad is worse than anything in the bullet points above because it’s not just coming from children’s peers. Instead, pop culture and their own schools are promoting transgenderism. At a very fundamental level, children are being brainwashed into denying their own bodies.

Matt Walsh explains very well that we are seeing a complete inversion of the 1990s trend that saw parents, teachers, and the media relentlessly tell kids that they were absolutely perfect and beyond wonderful, with no need to change by even a scintilla. That message extended to their bodies: All young people’s bodies were perfect and beautiful bodies. Al Franken’s only funny character, Stuart Smalley, summed it up: “I’m good enough, I’m smart enough and, doggone it, people like me!”

Now, however, children are being told that, if they feel awkward, different, or wrong (which is completely normal for kids, especially as they go through puberty), they are correct to feel that way. God or Nature made a terrible mistake with them, and the only remedy is hormones that cause permanent sterilization and diseases, combined with permanent body mutilating surgery.

Hey now, ain’t nothing wrong with swooning over Sinatra or the Beatles. Hell, even the Bay City Rollers had their moments.
