Here we are again, trying to make sense of the senseless. Trying to understand what would harden someone’s heart enough to take the lives of innocent human beings. It is impossible to comprehend.

Even though some scream for “common sense” solutions – without articulating what those solutions actually are, and how they would impact the civil rights of Americans – there are no easy answers. There simply is no common solution that would magically cure society’s ills.

Oh yes there is. No, it isn’t magic, of course. Nonetheless, it WOULD definitely cure what ails us; it WOULD be easy, or no more difficult than pulling a trigger, anyway; and, for the legions of us who are good and goddamned sick of the insufferable, smarmy shitbags, it would be a real pleasure as well.

Sadly, about the only thing that is predictable in these situations is the rush to judgment and condemnation. It seems these days that the only constant in these circumstances is the immediate rush to lash out and demonize fellow Americans.

Yeah, well, the fact is there’s a perfectly good reason for that. And it’s one that people like yourself who are terminally afflicted with Stage IV Rodney King Syndrome, a cognitive and emotional malady which presents primarily as a desperate need to cling to the absurd fallacy that we can “all just get along” with the Left—who, by the by, are NOT just playing around when they say (as they incessantly do, without equivocation; in fact, it’s the one and only thing they’ve ever been completely honest about) that they want us either enslaved, imprisoned, or embalmed—badly need to take note of.

Not that this boob will, natch. RKS sufferers, see, are willing to go to any lengths imaginable if they see even the slimmest chance to engage in more “dialogue,” “debate,” and “compromise” with…well, frankly, with demonic shitbags who are so suffused with hatred and contempt for all of us on Our Side it can actually cause great gouts of blood to spurt from their eyeballs sometimes. The message is simple: name-calling and referring to those who may not agree on a particular approach to an issue as “the enemy” is no way to lead.

Perhaps. But one thing I do know for absolute certain is this: if you are so dunderheaded, so polite, or so damned faint of heart, weak of will, or limp of wrist to nut up and call a spade a fucking spade instead of a shovel—or an enemy an enemy, instead of a “fellow American” (puke)—then your fate is already sealed. By your own craven refusal to choose your side in what is incontrovertibly a showdown between Good and Evil and take an honest stand, you doomed yourself.

The Elijah Barrett Prettyman Courthouse in Washington, D.C. is center stage this month to two competing tales of stolen presidential elections.

In the courtroom of U.S. District Court Judge Christopher Cooper, federal prosecutors have presented a detailed account of the greatest scandal in U.S. political history: the conspiracy of the country’s most powerful interests to fabricate the Trump-Russia collusion hoax in order to sabotage Donald Trump before the 2016 election.

Michael Sussmann, a lawyer formerly employed at Perkins Coie, the influential law firm that funded the infamous Steele dossier on behalf of Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee, is on trial for lying to the FBI. Sussmann is accused of presenting phony data alleged to prove a connection between Trump and a Russian bank to the department just weeks before Election Day 2016.

The sinister collaboration, exposed years ago by reporters and bloggers on the Right but now confirmed by Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation, involved Democratic Party honchos including the candidate herself; top officials at the Department of Justice, who used the dossier as evidence for a warrant to spy on Trump’s campaign; FBI officials and informants; the Central Intelligence Agency; and of course, the national news media.

Russia’s interference in the 2016 election to rig the outcome in favor of Trump was accepted as truth not just by the same interests responsible for the hoax but by tens of millions of Americans. Roughly half the country openly refused to accept the fact that Trump won fair and square. Media-fueled accusations that the new president and Russian President Vladimir Putin “stole” the election prompted the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller in May 2017, a move supported by most Republicans in Washington.

Trump’s first two years in office were severely hobbled by the nonstop collusion drama as Mueller’s team systematically rounded up Trump allies on unrelated charges to produce breaking headlines and speculation that Trump would be the next one in handcuffs. Even after Mueller in 2019 finally admitted his prosecutors found no evidence of election-altering collusion, 84 percent of Democrats still believed Trump had been in cahoots with the Russians. For four years, Democrats proudly displayed #NotMyPresident hashtags on social media platforms.

And to this day, Hillary Clinton insists the 2016 election “was not on the level.”

But that sort of talk has not been designated the “Big Lie” by the news media or criminalized by the Justice Department. Any suggestion that the 2016 election was “rigged” or “stolen” remains safely under the purview of protected speech and in many quarters, is still considered an indisputable fact.

Not so for those who doubt the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. Which is why, just a few floors below Judge Cooper’s courtroom, Timothy Hale is on trial for his participation in the protest at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

While the wheels of justice turn excruciatingly slow for Trump-Russian collusion schemers such as Sussmann, the government has moved at lightning speed to round up dissidents of the Biden regime. More than 800 Americans who protested Biden’s election on January 6 face criminal charges; the Justice Department announces new arrests every week.

Unlike Michael Sussmann, who walked free for five years following the commission of his alleged crime, Tim Hale has been in jail under pre-trial detention orders for more than 16 months.

Yet Hale’s alleged offenses were far less damaging to the country than the crimes Sussmann and his accomplices are accused of committing. On January 6, Hale, an Army reservist, drove to Washington after working the night shift at a New Jersey Naval station to hear President Trump speak. Later that afternoon, Hale walked to Capitol Hill. He entered the Capitol building around 2:14 p.m. through a set of open doors; Hale carried no weapon and didn’t assault anyone. On at least two occasions, Hale is seen interacting with police officers, who did not attempt to arrest either him or those around him.

After 40 minutes, Hale exited the building and drove back to New Jersey in time to start his night shift again. One week later, after his roommate agreed to secretly record a conversation for NCIS, Hale was arrested by at least a dozen armed FBI agents. (His roommate subsequently was paid $4,000 by NCIS for producing the two-hour recording.)

Since then, Biden’s Justice Department has devoted untold human and financial resources to prosecute Hale, who was indicted on four misdemeanors and one obstruction felony. Federal taxpayers have paid to keep Hale, who has no criminal record, incarcerated at a D.C. gulag set aside for Trump supporters. Numerous prosecutors, assistants, law enforcement officers, tech experts, private contractors, and witnesses spent over a year building the case against Hale.

Regardless of the verdicts for Sussmann and Hale, it’s increasingly clear Americans continue to live in two separate and unequal systems of government. One side enjoys a protracted legal process that ultimately results in a slap on the wrist, favorable—or buried—news coverage, and a sympathetic jury pool among other benefits. The opposite side is hunted, incarcerated, and humiliated, left to the nonexistent mercies of a ruling class that views them with palpable contempt.

I don’t really need to tell y’all how things turned out for Sussman, do I?

Biden was dumb enough to think he had finally made it, when he was just the Left’s fall guy.

And while he may be incapable of paying attention to anything, his administration is cheering every price increase. The worse life gets for us, the closer the Left gets to its core agendas.

High gas prices aren’t “Putin’s price hike”, but they’re not even “Biden’s price hike”, they’re the “Left’s price hike”. Car and gas prices are meant to squeeze Americans out of car ownership. It’s such an unsubtle ploy that administration members will actually boast about it. And then they’ll urge Americans to buy $60,000 electric cars that they know people can’t afford.

The utterly blatant goal is to eliminate millions of cars by making it too expensive to drive.

And Democrats are working on this on multiple ends, from environmental and safety regulations, to raising gas prices, to artificial car shortages. Even those who can afford an electric car or get a government subsidized one will be kept off the road by high power rates.

Home prices? The Left has spent generations trying to kill the suburbs and the housing market. Much as it’s worked very hard to wipe out private sector medicine by using the stresses of the system against it. Making the private market for a good or service completely inaccessible for the vast majority of people paves the way for nationalizing it. The Left does not want people living in smaller communities. It has plainly said that everyone should have to live in cities.

Taking out the home and car markets are both means of limiting mobility and forcibly concentrating populations in dense urban clusters under their panopticons. These are the same strategies used by the Soviet Union and Communist China. And have the same intended end.

Food prices? The Left has been equally adamant that ordinary people must stop eating meat. Replacing traditional staples like bread and meat, milk and eggs, is another agenda item and was once again pursued through a combination of regulations, environmental, safety and animal rights measures, and more artificial shortages that are meant to transform the American diet.

You won’t be able to eat, drive or have a home to live in… and you will be told to be happy.

Or else.

This is not a conspiracy theory. The only assumption being made here is that the Left is achieving its stated goals as the result of a plan rather than a series of accidental coincidences.

Oh, don’t be unfairly hard on yourself there, Daniel; if it really IS no more than mere assumption, it’s nonetheless an assumption backed up by objective evidence which is beyond debate: all observable, experiential reality.

Too many Republicans are failing to hold the Left accountable by refusing to state what is going on. Hanlon’s Razor, “never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity” is fine when it’s not being applied to an ideology that is achieving its objectives through its actions.

That’s not a conspiracy theory, it’s policy.

Pasting Biden’s “I Did It” stickers on gas pumps is fine, but he’s completely expendable.

If Americans don’t understand that our misery isn’t an accident or incompetence, but part of a plan then the downward cycle will continue to play out with increasingly worse outcomes.

Until the Left finally gets what it wants. And then the rest of us won’t have anything left.

To commemorate all the bodily fluids lost while assaulting parents trying to rescue their children from an active shooter, today the Uvalde Police Department announced its officers would now cover their uniforms, cars and front lawns with new Thin Yellow Line flags.

“Dozens of Uvalde police officers lost their underwear in the line of duty Tuesday, forever soiled in a hail of their own piss while cowering behind barricades as innocent children were slaughtered by a rampaging gunman just a few feet away,” said Uvalde police spokesperson Robert Ford. “Alas, the police department only had a paltry 40% of the entire town’s budget, and were therefore left powerless to protect their trousers, let alone elementary school children. Maybe if the town had been more serious about the security of the community, these officers would have been able to cower behind even bigger militarized SWAT vehicles for another 40 minutes to spare at least their innocent boxers and briefs.”

Texas Governor Greg Abbott held an emergency press conference to address the unspeakable loss of underpants at the Uvalde Police Department.

“The great State of Texas will never allow such a humiliating disaster to befall our brave men in blue and wet yellow ever again,” said Gov. Abbott, comforting an officer while dabbing a pee stain from his pants. “I’ve consulted with Senator Ted Cruz who has assured me that underpants with only one entrance are much more secure, so we will be forming a task force to look into this technology immediately. Shoot, I feel like I’m forgetting something,—oh, right, the school and the dead children. Uh, have my assistant send a gift basket with some of those nice thoughts and prayers you get at the Cracker Barrel.”

Lurking underneath this and several other news items coming out of Texas is the ugliest of ugly possibilities: that the influx of shitlib refugees from Califruitopia has finally tipped the political balance in the Lone Star Republic firmly Leftward.

If Republicans finally do decide to go ahead and commit figurative (and quite possibly literal) seppukku by pulling the trigger on the Ultimate 2A Sellout, who really gives a shit how they come out in the 2022 fucking midterms? Or, y’know, any other election, ever again? Myself, I hardly care whether they win or lose as it is, without reference to slip-sliming away on the Second. I adopted “Screw me once, shame on you; screw me twice, shame on ME; screw me 852 thousand million times over several decades, somebody please just shoot me in my fucking head until I fall over dead, mmm’kay?” as my personal motto right around the time the “Repeal Obamacare” campaign pledge suddenly softened into “Repeal AND REPLACE Obamacare” before going completely limpdick and slipping out altogether with “Hey, let’s just shut up and leave Obamacare the hell alone, eh guys?”

I mean, really now. The GOPe has been betraying conservatives/Real Americans/whatever you wanna call ’em so audaciously for so long now it’s become almost impossible to get too terribly riled up over the prospect of them doing it again. Now admittedly, I could see going to some little trouble so as to deal out some righteous retribution on ’em for their crap, sure. The Democrats are giddy. They were hoping that SCOTUS putting the kibosh on kid killing was going to save them from annihilation in November. That did not work – Americans were less interested in preserving a non-existent right to snuff out a life two minutes from crowning than in $6 gas. But this scumbag’s murder rampage in Texas has given them new hope, they think. All the GOP has to do is be spineless and stupid.

So, they’re feeling pretty confident.

We could discuss the facts, like how the real issue is mentally ill kids (lib COVID lockdowns were no help) and lax security at schools where some cretin can wander in with a rifle and hang out unchallenged. We can also point out the obvious – that disarming law-abiding citizens only empower the criminals Democrats excuse and the tyrants they want to be. But facts and evidence will not stiffen the spines of the noodle caucus that thinks that the regime media will let up if they only “DO SOMETHING” even though the doings the Democrats demand are acts of political onanism.

Anyhoo, as Adams points out, to •REALLY• understand what’s •REALLY• going on with this modern curse of ours wherein some deranged fiend with a grievance, coughed up from the very bowels of Hell, invades some school or other (go figure; all those laws forbidding firearms on school property don’t seem to have made much of an impression on said fiends, but surely ONE MORE will do the trick!) and starts in slaughtering innocent children until some Good Guy shows up toting another gun to put a stop to the festivities, there’s •REALLY• a question we must ponder.

The millennial generation might be surprised to learn that theirs is the first without guns in school. Just 30 years ago, high school kids rode the bus with rifles and shot their guns at high school rifle ranges.

After another school shooting, it’s time to ask: what changed?

Cross guns off the list of things that changed in thirty years. In 1985, semi-automatic rifles existed, and a semi-automatic rifle was used in Florida. Guns didn’t suddenly decide to visit mayhem on schools. Guns can’t decide.

We can also cross the Second Amendment off the list. It existed for over 200 years before this wickedness unfolded. Nothing changed in the Constitution.

What changed? The mainstreaming of nihilism. Cultural decay. Chemicals. The deliberate destruction of moral backstops in the culture. A lost commonality of shared societal pressures to enforce right and wrong. And above all, simple, pure, evil.

Before you retort that we can’t account for the mentally ill, they existed forever.

Paranoid schizophrenics existed in 1888 and 2018. Mentally ill students weren’t showing up in schools with guns even three decades ago.

So it must be something else.

Indeed it must, and it’s neither complicated, confounding, counterintuitive, or at all confusticating for any person of reasonable intelligence to figure out what that “something else” that’s different from the entire previous history of the United States of America might possibly consist of. Although fixing the problem will almost certainly be nothing like as simple or easy as identifying it was, alas. All we need to nail down just where things went wrong is sufficient honesty and courage to admit to ourselves a few uncomfortable realities we all already know deep down to be true, that’s all— no special tools, advanced training, or professional licenses necessary to tackle this job.

Those who have been so busy destroying the moral backstops in our culture won’t want to have this conversation. They’ll do what they do — mock the truth.

There was a time in America, before the Snowflakes, when any adult on the block could reprimand a neighborhood kid who was out of line without fear.

Even thirty years ago, the culture still had invisible restraints developed over centuries. Those restraints, those leveling commonalities, were the target of a half-century of attack by the freewheeling counterculture that has now become the dominant replacement culture.

Hollywood made fun of these restraints in films too numerous to list.

The sixties mantra “don’t trust anyone over thirty” has become a billion-dollar industry devoted to the child always being right — a sometimes deeply medicated brat who disrupts the classroom or escapes what used to be resolved with a paddling.

Instead of telling the kid to quit kicking the back of the seat on a plane, we buy seat guards to protect the seat.

If you think it’s bad now, just wait until the generation whose babysitter is an iPhone is in high school. You can hardly walk around Walmart these days without tripping over a toddler in a trance, staring at a screen.

The high school kids who shot rifles in school in 1985 were taught right and wrong. They were taught what to do with their rifle in school, and what not to do. If they got out of line, all the other students and the coach would have come down on them hard. There were no safe spaces, and that was a good thing.

Culture is a powerful force for good. When good behavior is normalized and deviant destructive behavior is ostracized, shamed, and marginalized, you get more good behavior.

Thirty years ago, kids who brought their rifles to the high school shooting range didn’t wonder about evil and cultural decay. They simply lived in a time in America when right and wrong were more starkly defined, where expectations about behavior were clear, and wickedness hadn’t been normalized.

Annnnnd bingo. See what I mean when I say easy? There’s no big mystery to this thing, nothing obscure or puzzling or beyond the ken of your average Joe Lunchbucket. Only a shitlib “intellectual” could ever find zxhirmxxxelf flummoxed by so elementary an equation as this one: if you glorify immorality, impulsiveness, and untrammeled self-regard, you will end up with more of those things. Denigrate proper morals and ethics, devalue empathy, self-abnegation, Christian piety, and equanimity, and you will create monsters, not men.

If we stipulate the longtime Leftist premise that Man is just another animal—no more exalted, sanctified, or worthy of regard than any random, insensate beast of the field—then can we claim a right to be surprised at seeing regular outbursts of rabid, murderous bestiality among our fellow creatures here and there? Being the lowly beasts we are, are these periodic bestial rampages the most radical departure from the established norm one might expect? Or is the excessive solicitude and anxiety for the cubs evinced by the adult members of the pack on such eruptions the greater aberration?

Which brings us to something every bit as important as uncovering the changes in our society and/or ourselves that brought this horror down on us: pinning the blame for the “normalization of wickedness,” the “deliberate destruction of moral backstops in the culture,” and all the other coordinated acts of wanton societal destruction onto the correct lapels, and seeing to it that those malefactors will rue their misdeeds profoundly, sincerely, and for the rest of their miserable lives.

The Trap

Change is not on the menu here.

Long before Trump, Republican politicians and their apologists in the establishment conservative media labored indefatigably to convince their constituents that, come what may, the GOP would “save the country” from the ravages of the excessive Left. The “Reagan Revolution,” the “Contract with America,” the “Moral Majority,” “Compassionate Conservatism,” the “Tea Party,” and, now, MAGA—these are the media concoctions, the theatrical props, the bright and shiny things that traditional Republican voters have been manipulated into believing for decades. It’s ultimately the same concept repackaged for a new generation under a different label.

The idea that there is a rock-ribbed, true-blue conservative or patriotic contingent, separate from and opposed to “the establishment,” promising to pull America back from the precipice of destruction on which she stands has been the GOP’s bread and butter for decades. Every election is “the most important election of our lifetime.”

Republican voters should pause and ask themselves a question that never seem to get thoroughly explored: To paraphrase Reagan’s query from 1980:

Is the Left more or less powerful in 2022 than they’ve been in the past?

The Left-Right paradigm within which American politics plays out is itself a function of the collective delusion from which Republican and Democratic voters alike suffer. Still, for present purposes, we’ll speak the conventional language and say that it’s difficult to conceive of a single front on which “the Left” hasn’t made considerable advances.

In some cases, particularly over the last couple of years, during the COVID era, the Left made shockingly, historically unprecedented advances.

So, why exactly is it that those who have always voted Republican should continue doing so?

How, exactly, does voting Republican amount to “fighting the Left?”

Trump tried his best, but had too many powerful forces with which to contend and that ultimately thwarted his plans.

Republicans gain the House, but then tell their supporters that they can’t do the things that they say they were going to do because they don’t have the Senate and the presidency. They gain the Senate, but then tell their supporters that they can’t do what they promised, because they don’t yet have the presidency. They gain the presidency, but then tell their supporters that they can’t really do what they promised because of the recalcitrance of traitorous Republicans, the cynicism and opportunism of Democrats, the partisanship of the media, and/or the subversionary machinations of a massive bureaucracy (the “deep state”).

Republicans—whether Trump or anyone else—will nevercan never, “defeat the Left” and “save the country” as they promise. And all GOP politicians must, at some level, know this. At the very least, they must know that they can never affect the kinds of substantive, enduring changes that voters expect from them as long as all of the obstacles to which they invariably appeal in accounting for their failures persist!

In other words, if “RINOs,” Democrats, a hostile media, and deep state apparatchiks have always prevented Republicans in the past from enacting the platform and the agenda on which they campaign, why should voters expect that Republicans will be able to surmount those obstacles now?!

What do Republicans, elected today, plan on doing to ensure that all of the hostile forces that have undermined them since forever will finally be neutralized?

If insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result, then voting Republican is insane.

Sometimes our biggest, most insuperable dilemmas are expressed quite handily in bumper-sticker slogans:

  • No matter who you vote for, a politician always gets in
  • There is no political solution to the problems caused by politics
  • There is no voting our way out of this
  • If voting could actually change anything, it would be illegal
  • If the Founders were around today, they’d already be shooting

And the most telling one of all, more apposite to our present circumstances than any other:

You may vote your way into socialism, but you must shoot your way out.

And so we have. And so we must, or else relinquish our sacred birthright of freedom forever.

In 1964, Ronald Reagan delivered the greatest of his many great speeches at the Republican National Convention, a truly deathless oration whose words will stir the souls and fire the blood of the liberty-minded until the end of days. The speech has come to be known variously as either the “A Time For Choosing” speech, which if I remember right was its official title, or more simply as the “Freedom Speech.” Its best-known and most beloved passage couldn’t be a more perfect closer for this post, I believe.

Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.

Alas, as grim as that final prognostication certainly is, the way things have worked out is far, far worse: we’re spending our sunset years telling ourselves that we are in fact still free, having exchanged our proud heritage for the chains we willingly accepted because it was so much easier, prodding our children and children’s children to likewise take them up themselves. What life was once like in a still-free America has long since been shorn from memory, both collective and personal.

A damned good thing it has been, too; such a proud and noble past piles a burden of shame onto us lesser men who proved to be inadequate to rise to its challenge, to redeem its promise for ourselves and our posterity. Shame so profound can but be a source of genuine anguish deep down inside, amounting as it does to a blistering rebuke which no apology can ever set aright.

The overarching backdrop of Lincoln’s Lyceum Address was, of course, that most fraught issue that dominated so much of antebellum American politics: slavery. But his advice, and his appeal, are timeless. In fact, that advice has never been more apropos than it is today. For today, much as back then, the threat of mob rule dangles over the republic like a sword of Damocles. And today, much as back then, that threat emanates from a similar partisan tribe: the Democratic Party. True to Alinskyite form and consistent with their riotous 1960s-era campus activist forebears, today’s Democrats routinely threaten the republic with mob rule if they do not get their way.

In the lead-up to Inauguration Day 2017 and on Inauguration Day itself, leftist activists across the country blocked traffic, smashed windows, looted stores and set cars ablaze; in Washington, D.C. alone, 217 people were arrested and six police officers were injured. On October 6, 2018, the day that Brett Kavanaugh was sworn in as a Supreme Court justice, leftist activists, intoxicated by a smear campaign of fabricated sexual assault charges against the esteemed jurist, physically banged on the Court’s doors in a ham-fisted attempt to disrupt the proceedings. In the post-George Floyd “summer of love” of 2020, Black Lives Matter and Antifa hooligans ravaged American urban corridors with a zealous “mobocratic spirit,” racking up a combined arson, vandalism and looting bill of over $1 billion in paid insurance claims.

On April 20, 2021, the nation waited with bated breath to see if Derek Chauvin, the disgraced Minneapolis cop, would be found guilty of the murder of George Floyd. He was, and deservedly so—but one still wonders how tainted the verdict was, given not merely President Joe Biden’s wildly inappropriate pre-verdict commentary on Chauvin’s guilt but also the predictable assembly of frothing leftist mobs in Minnesota yet again ready to riot and set cities ablaze at a moment’s notice if the verdict did not redound to their liking. Chauvin deserved his verdict, but the “ravages of mob law” still reigned.

Most recently, leftist “protestors” have taken to picketing, demonstrating and shouting crass obscenities outside the Supreme Court and the conservative justices’ personal homes—a naked example of the most sordid form of raw power politics imaginable, intended to intimidate a swing justice to defect from Justice Samuel Alito’s leaked majority opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, this Court term’s marquee abortion case. Thus far, Attorney General Merrick Garland has called these prototypical mobocratic displays “unacceptable” and “dangerous” but he has eschewed pressing charges under 18 U.S. Code Section 1507, a federal statute that clearly proscribes this grotesque conduct.

Conservative churches across the country have seen Marxist, pro-abortion demonstrators halt services, all in a bizarre attempt to better salvage the Left’s foremost pagan sacrament: abortion. And in what looks an awful lot like an act of arson, a pro-life center in Madison, Wisconsin, mysteriously burned down shortly after the Dobbs leak, around the same time vile graffiti was found on the premises reading, “If abortions aren’t safe than [sic] you aren’t either.”

Since it’s Snoozeweek, the author is obliged, for the sake of “fairness,” to balance out the piece by dusting off the shabby, tired old J6 “riots” canard and propping the poor thing up for a little invidious-comparison action with the previous long-ass litany of shitlib violence, mayhem, murder, looting, arson, and general chaos, as if the J6 Parade O’ Doofi protest was in any way as damaging, dangerous, costly, or threatening as two fucking years of violent Leftist mobs, officially sanctioned by state and local governments, federal officials, and the Democrat Party, dealing out night after night of “street justice” with total impunity.

J6 was a nothingburger, one of those rare protests that truly WAS “mostly peaceful.” The only people who got killed on J6 were ours, wantonly murdered by Congress’s Capitol Pig Department. Unique in the history of “insurrection,” the J6 “revolutionaries” who have been accused of seeking to overthrow the US government were in fact unarmed, mostly cooperative with the authorities, non-aggressive, and perfectly amiable.

Here’s your fucking compare-contrast, if you want one: the Leftymob was extremely obstreperous and confrontational; they were irrational, enraged, aggressive, and completely out of control. They hid their identities behind black masks, hoods, riot gear, and even improvised body armor. They were armed with just about every weapon you could imagine, and quite a few you couldn’t: clubs, maces, chains, flails, frozen water bottles, two-by-fours with nails driven through one side, you name it. Their standard MO is to assault innocent bystanders, do as much property damage as possible, and scream their spittle-spraying tirades for purposes of physical intimidation directly into the faces of normal folks just out for a casual evening stroll, with no interest in being subjected to yet another loony-Left political harangue indicting them for being responsible for chattel slavery, climate change, poverty, disappointing Christmas presents, urban decay, injustice, war, strip-mining, homelessness, rampant greed, the damned Jews, selfishness, bigotry, Hitler, and painful rectal itch.

They operate like a wolfpack: prowl the riot site in search of easy prey, cut a straggler out and herd him to a more private spot, surround their intended victim so as to pin him in place and isolate him from any prospective assistance, and then deal out a merciless mob-style beating, until the helpless vic is nearly comatose, or possibly dead. Then it’s on to the next blood-orgy. The mob knows they needn’t fear interference of any sort from the law, who for some baffling, self-defeating reason seem to prefer harrassing and arresting the innocent victims of this organized spree-violence than do their sworn duty and go after the lawless, cop-hating drains on society they inexplicably but incontrovertibly seem to have adopted as their natural allies.

I shouldn’t need to bring up which of these groups has scores of its members rotting in solitary confinement without charges in a DC Gulag for months now, all their Constitutional rights being flung down and danced upon daily—and which one’s members are but rarely arrested, hardly ever tried, and never held over as guests of the State for more than a day or two. You’d maybe expect that in Portland, Seattle, Chicago, or other similar shitlib citadels, but it’s held true all over the damned country. Should you discern a sinister meaning in that, I won’t bother you with any contradictory arguments.

Mob violence has been the métier of Democrats practically since the foul Democrat Party came into being. To pretend it ain’t so and treat with the blaggards as if they were respectable, rational opponents who, though unswervingly dedicated to their cause, are nonetheless essentially honorable people who, despite our disagreements, are still amenable to reason. They are nothing of the sort—haven’t been for decades, if they ever were at all. That’s the reality, disagreeable as it is, and the absolute last thing Our Side needs to be doing is taking a page from the Left’s book: wilfully discarding actual reality to keep ourselves all wrapped up in a cozy fantasy of comity and cooperation. Such dead-end delusions can only hinder us from doing what we all already realize is necessary: tuning up the malevolent brats proper, thereby putting paid to all their silly-ass shit once and for all.

Messenger: shot dead

You say you want the truth? You can’t handle the truth.

Zac Kriegman had worked at Thomson Reuters for more than six years, most recently as a director of data scientists. Concerned with data and statistics, Kriegman and his team advised numerous other divisions within company.

But in 2020, Kriegman noticed changes within the company, with coworkers publishing numerous articles about “White Privilege” on the company’s internal collaboration platform. When the Black Lives Matter (BLM) riots broke out that summer, the platform was filled with support for the organization without any question as to the narrative being told about race in America.

“This concerned me. I had been following the academic research on BLM for years (for example, here, here, here and here), and I had come to the conclusion that the claim upon which the whole movement rested—that police more readily shoot black people—was false,” Kriegman wrote in an article published on Bari Weiss’ substack. “ The data was unequivocal. It showed that, if anything, police were slightly less likely to use lethal force against black suspects than white ones.”

If I had, oh, the next six-seven days to spend on absolutely nothing else, not to mention the inclination to do any such thing, I’d dig through the Innarnuts and commend to everyone’s attention the eleventy million billion kajillion times myself and other Righty bloggers have howled precisely this into the void over the last several years, beginning well before the advent of BLM in my own case. If anybody was wondering why I usually refer to said criminal/terrorist syndicate as Black Lies Murder, well, there you have it.

Kriegman discovered that, based on a database of police shootings compiled by The Washington Post, police have fatally shot 39% more unarmed white people than black people in the past five years. BLM activists have insisted, however, that since there are six times as many white people in America as black people, police should be shooting 600% more. Anything less, Kriegman wrote, is evidence to the activists of police bias.

Kriegman suggested that such a comparison isn’t as accurate as comparing “Black suspects who pose a grave danger and white suspects who do the same,” but wrote that there isn’t reliable data for such a comparison. Instead, he used Deputy District Attorney for Los Angeles County Patrick Frey’s calculations based on FBI data that found “black Americans account for 37 percent of those who murder police officers, and 34 percent of the unarmed suspects killed by police. Meanwhile, whites make up 42.7 percent of cop killers and 42 percent of the unarmed suspects shot by police—meaning whites are killed by police at a 7 percent higher rate than blacks.”

Kriegman broadened the analysis to include armed suspects, finding that with those numbers included, whites are shot at a 70% higher rate than blacks. He then mentions the only study that looks at the rate at which police use lethal force across racial groups, conducted by Harvard economist Roland Fryer. Fryer, who is black, tried to prove BLM’s narrative in 2016, but ended up disproving it by finding that, while black Americans and Latinos may experience some amount of police force, they are slightly less likely to be shot by police than whites.

“Unfortunately, because the BLM narrative was now conventional wisdom, police departments, under intense scrutiny from left-wing politicians and activists, scaled back patrols in dangerous neighborhoods filled with vulnerable black residents. This led to soaring violence in many communities and thousands of needless deaths—otherwise known as the Ferguson Effect,” Kriegman wrote.

Bet you can’t guess what happens next. Don’t be shy, now; go on, give it a whirl. I double-dog dare ya.

Kriegman wrote that his post was removed when he stated his concerns and told that if he discussed the issue on internal company communications channels, he would be fired. Without a resolution, Kriegman emailed colleagues and company leadership discussing the attacks. The next day he was told by Human Resources that he no longer had access to his company computer or communications systems. Three days after that, he was fired.

Gee, are you guys as shocked as I am at this wholly unprecedented turn of events?

A decade ago, my experience at Thomson Reuters would have been unthinkable. Most Americans probably think it’s still unthinkable. That’s what makes it so dangerous. Most of us don’t understand how deeply compromised our news sources have become. Most of us have no idea that we are suffused with fictions and half-truths that sound sort of believable and are shielded from scrutiny by people whose job is to challenge them. This is true, above all, of my fellow liberals, who assume that only Republicans complain about the mainstream media. But this is not a partisan issue. This is a We The People issue,” he wrote.

Oh, it’s worse than you think, pal. Although it certainly SHOULD be a “We The People issue,” well, sorry, but…it ain’t. This week a spokesperson for 76 Gas Stations confirmed to The Post Millennial that the national outlet “is reconfiguring its pumps to make room for the possibility of double-digit prices.” Ten-dollar-a gallon gasoline may have seemed far-fetched before now; however, thanks to Bidenflation (inflation driven mainly by the Biden Administration’s poor economic and energy policies), gas station outlets across the country continue to run out of fuel, causing prices to rise higher and higher each day.

From the first day of his presidency, Biden implemented his destructive energy-dependent policies while also ending Trump’s productive energy-independent policies. Among other things, Biden canceled the Keystone XL Pipeline, refused the importation of Canadian oil, futilely begged Saudi Arabia for more oil, canceled drilling permits, pillaged our U.S. strategic petroleum reserves, and did nothing substantial to aid the trucker shortage and supply chain crisis.

Meanwhile, the ineffectual Biden Administration continued to deflect blame for the high gasoline prices by blaming everyone and everything from Vladimir Putin to seasonal gasoline blends to Big Oil greed to those dastardly Republicans. In reality, the high price of gasoline in the U.S. is a direct result of Biden’s deliberate and damaging economic and energy policies that began on day one of his presidency and continue to this day with no end in sight.

So the next time you step into the voting booth, remember this: in January 2021 (the last month of Donald Trump’s presidency), gasoline prices across the U.S. averaged $2.41. Today we’re preparing for ten-dollar gasoline at a pump near you. Vote accordingly.

This is not 2020. The public may be better inoculated now against government gaslighting and mind-fuckery than they are against Covid-19 viruses. As Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) noted last week in his colloquy with Secretary Mayorkas, “Do you know who the greatest propagator of disinformation in the history of the world is? The U.S. government.” Senator Paul is onto something. In the course of that hearing, he asked Mr. Mayorkas whether talk about Covid 19 on social media might be subject to official “disinformation” action by his agency.

“I’ve said a million times that cloth masks don’t work; YouTube takes me down,” Senator Paul said. “They’re a private company. I can have that beef with them. What about you? You’re going to look at that? I often say that natural immunity from having had the infection is equal to the vaccine or better. You’re going to take that down?” Rand Paul is a licensed physician, by the way, and Alejandro Mayorkas is not.

Mr. Mayorkas answered that someone might claim that vaccination centers “are actually peddling fentanyl. Now, should I sit back and take that, or should I actually disseminate accurate information?” he asked.

In reality, of course, this hypothetical fentanyl nonsense is not what is at issue regarding Covid-19 “vaccines.” What is actually at issue is the now-established fact that the mRNA products called “vaccines” do not prevent infection or transmission of Covid-19, and do provoke a broad array of harms to people that cause disability and death in, at least, tens of thousands of cases, which is a lot in terms of all prior medical standards.

The government has been lying about this consistently. And the news media have been obediently conveying those lies, in league with the pharmaceutical giants who produce the “vaccines.” The governor of my state, Kathy Hochul, still idiotically wants to mandate mRNA “vaccines” for children. Pfizer ran a commercial on CBS’s 60-Minutes Sunday night promising that further “vaccination” with their sketchy product will “open up the world” for people. In fact, it will do nothing to protect people, rather it will promote the evolution of new-and-different iterations of novel Coronaviruses, and it will surely kill and maim a lot more people, including little children.

Paul, as he so reliably is on most topics, is perfectly correct in his perfectly factual assertion about FederalGovCo’s Best Of ranking among the world’s top purveyors of the Big Lie. At this late stage of the game, none but a wilfully blind simpleton would trust a single syllable its operatives, hirelings, and henchmen utter, about anything whatsoever. As for Hochul, Pfizer, and all that bushwa, I’ve been as right as Rand all along: PhauxVidMania™ and all its trappings and trimmings will never end unless and until We The People get back up on our hind legs like real, true Americans and put a fucking stop to it. As Gas Prices Set New Records, Biden Nukes More Oil And Gas Projects
CBS News revealed the Biden administration canceled more oil and gas leases across the country this week as soaring gas prices reached new heights Wednesday.

The Department of Interior canceled plans to drill in more than 1 million acres in Alaska’s Cook Inlet, arguing “lack of industry interest,” on top of canceling a pair of leases in the Gulf of Mexico over “conflicting court rulings.”

“Until now, the White House had remained silent about the massive Alaska lease,” CBS reported Wednesday night, citing political headwinds against the president responsible for record-setting pain at the pump. According to AAA travel agency’s tracker, gas prices reached new milestone Wednesday, at a nationwide average of $4.40 a gallon of regular unleaded and $5.55 for diesel. The prior record for unleaded was set in March, at an average $4.33 per gallon regular, and diesel at $5.54. The latest inflation numbers also out Wednesday revealed all prices still rising at a rapid pace of 8.3 percent annually, exceeding expectations.

“They don’t want to get hit by Republicans in light of high gas prices,” explained an “environmental advocate” to CBS granted anonymity to discuss the sensitive topic related to White House discretion on the leases. “They’re getting killed on attacks based on inflation. The most visible sign of inflation is high gas prices.”

While Biden has blamed Russia’s war in Ukraine for the continued price hikes, the trends began long before President Vladimir Putin launched his February invasion, and analysts say it’s clear that Biden is making things worse by banning companies from exploring sources of U.S. energy independence.

Well, duh. He’s a Demonrat. That means he’s a moron, he hates America, Americans, and the internal combustion engine because GAAAAIIIIIAAAA!!! As with every Demonrat, exorbitant, endlessly-rising gas prices confirm he’s Doing His Part to save the planet. S’cuse me, did I just hear somebody say something about trucks not being able to get to the grocery stores?

It has often been said that if you chase the global climate change ideology to its natural conclusion, we end up in communal groups sitting around a tepid campfire eating some form of sustainable algae cakes and picking parasites off each other…Prior to Joe Biden that prediction might have seemed like hyperbole. Now, not so much.

Indeed, the Green New Deal energy policy of Joe Biden creates massive downstream consequences. Unfortunately, the White House doesn’t seem to care. The high prices and scarcity of critical goods are a feature, not a flaw, as they chase their climate friendly Build Back Better agenda.

Following the continuum of intended consequence, now we have diesel fuel shortages beginning to hit the U.S. economy; and with scarcity comes higher prices of an almost astronomical scale. “The national average price of diesel is now $5.54 per gallon, which is an increase of 22 cents from last week, which was when the most recent record was set. Data shows there’s no state that’s currently seeing diesel prices below $5.12 per gallon.”

Making matters even worse is a drop in available inventory of diesel fuel which is about to become a crisis for the east coast of the U.S. Some Truck Stop operators like Love’s and Pilot are already warning their big rig customers they may not have fuel for truckers.

Never forget: the criminal cartel masquerading as a political party known as the Democrat Party WANTS THIS. They are FOR THIS, they think this is a GOOD THING. If We The People hope to save ourselves, our children, and whatever is left of our nation, then EVERY FUCKING DEMOCRAT must be forcibly removed from office without delay, by any means necessary. Going forward from there, NO DEMOCRAT can be allowed anywhere near the levers of power EVER AGAIN.

And that, friends, is IT. Full stop, end of story.

The calamity we now see unfolding all around us is EXACTLY the sort of thing the muttonheaded, unworkable policies favored by Democrats result in EVERY TIME THEY ARE TRIED. The historical record is rife with past examples. Reportage of current events from socialist shitholes still hanging on in every corner of the globe—Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe—reaffirm the dismal truth about life under THE VERY SAME IDEOLOGY ESPOUSED TODAY BY THE DEMOCRAT PARTY.

It’s only early innings yet, but already things are happening which are without precedent in this once-prosperous nation—circumstances and conditions all too common in a tragically large portion of the world, but quite literally unheard of here. Alas, Americans are soon to learn all about unpleasantries such as hunger, want, poverty, cold, homelessness, and the multifarious hazards associated with them—from savage, predatory street thugs, to sadistic cops, to disease, to feral animal packs, to other poverty-stricken skels—in more intimate detail than they would probaby wish.

Remember when I told you a few weeks back about the ongoing discussion between my brother and a few of his trucker buddies about what, if any, future they might have in the biz if diesel went over five bucks per gallon? Well, guess what: he said that earlier this week three of his co-workers have parked their rigs, locked ’em up, and hung a For Sale sign on ’em, intent on leaving the industry for good. The trucks are all what’s known in the biz as “glider” trucks—older models not subject to the crippling restrictions newer trucks have to run under. Gliders are the most desirable used trucks out there, and go for top buck if you can find one. My brother was lucky enough to score a nice Freightliner Classic XL—freshly-rebuilt Detroit 60 Series under the hood, ultra-clean, not a mark on it inside or out—for a relative pittance, thanks to another of his road-dog friends. Now Jeff spends a fair percentage of his time whenever he’s fueling up at the Flying J fielding endless offers to buy his glider from him on the spot. He just smirks at ’em, waves his old-school paper logbook in their faces (legal for gliders, none of the snooper-tech you have to put up with with the computer logs), and drawls “Nawwwww, I think I’m good here.”

We’re squarely in the Real, the Bad, and the Scary now, folks. Ain’t no way out of it, ain’t no way to reverse course, ain’t no way to fix it; all’s we can do now is just ride it out best we can, and hope to survive. Karl brings the double-plus-ungood tidings:

The other Gorilla in the room, fuel oil aka diesel fuel, is up 80% from last year. Until and unless that is stopped and the price comes back downwhich will only happen if and when the government ceases its war on fossil fuels, there is no way for the general upward pressure on prices to be reversed. Every piece of farm equipment forward to the delivery of the food to your store runs on diesel. Every single item you buy travels at least the last part of its journey moved by diesel. I do not care how you “feel” about the issues related to the use of fossil fuels, the simple reality is that without them you have no fertilizer, no food and nothing in the store so all of the claims of virtue you issue will make you broke or even cause you to starve.

The part in Denninger’s italics and my boldface is the bell sounding our doom, because as long as the US government remains in place, unimpeded, unaltered, and in the control of Democrats, there is absolutely no hope that their lunatic, suicidal War On Fossil Fuels will end. And that, as Karl flatly states, means that there is no significant price relief in store for us, not in the foreseeable future. Whatever the reason for it—incompetence, stupidity, ideological rigidity, or as a component of the Great Reset plan—the Democrats refuse to relax their all-consuming loathing for fossil fuels even slightly. Not even to save their own lives, they won’t. They’re either too damned unimaginative and knotheaded to conceptualize the predictable end-result of their own noble cause, or they arrogantly assume themselves to be way too lofty and important to be brought down by it in the same bloody, broken pile of tribulation as all those other luckless peasants—the eggs for the collective omelet.

And so here we all are. The American people haven’t faced a situation this grim since the Great Depression, and I expect we’ll surpass the darkest days of those times before too much longer. More macabre than anything is that we’ve been brought to this desperate pass not as the result of some natural disaster, or by some ghastly accident. No, the firestorm of immiseration soon to engulf us all is intentional, the product of human creativity, planning, and coordination.

Never forget that this hellish project’s intellectual ancestry can be traced directly back to the Democrat side of the American family tree, particularly so with the specific issue discussed in this post. The berserker fanaticism driving their years-long campaign to do away prematurely with the very fossil-fuel industry which made this the wealthiest nation in human history has been such a rousing success that sane, normal Americans are left with no choice but to deal with them firmly—harshly, even. Stopping them is now a matter of self-preservation, of life and death, literally and imminently—no longer an unattractive, questionable, or melodramatic overreaction to a more or less trifling provocation. If Real Americans stay our hands for much longer, we will condemn ourselves and all that we hold dear to a most ignoble fate—a coward’s death—thereby staining ourselves with a soul-deep shame which can never be scrubbed clean or erased.

Stupidity ain’t cheap

The current supply-chain problem is only one installment of a REALLY big bill.

These “supply chain disruptions,” as everyone is painfully aware, are doing everything from starving babies to shooting up the price of everything, as Wednesday’s 8.3 percent annual inflation number affirmed again. They are also not random, and they’re not a virus’s fault. They’re the direct and foreseeable consequence of ill-advised global lockdowns that nearly all of our nation’s political leaders refused to take into account when they and corporate media colluded to gaslight the world into accepting them.

Our historic “supply chain problems” are not the result of happenstance. They are the result of cowardly, ignorant, and just plain malevolent leadership throughout the entire Covid era.

Lockdowns never needed to happen. Global lockdowns were never before advised or attempted for much worse pandemics, they were based on faulty models, and the Information Age doesn’t change their imprudence. The “supply chain” consequences alone, as well as many of the other horrific medical and social consequences, should be enough evidence for all rational people to conclude that we must never, ever lock down again.

It’s a good article, but CF Lifers won’t be hearing anything in it that they haven’t heard at this here hogwallow from the earliest days of the whole Vaudeville act. For example:

The reality is, it is impossible to just hit “pause” on an economy. An action like this must have millions of unforeseeable effects, and the phrase people are using to summarize some of these butterfly effects now is “supply chain issues.”

Anyone who had any familiarity with the insane complexity of making anything or any cooperative activity such as education should have logically deduced that “pausing” an entire society is entirely impossible and idiotic to even suggest. The pause will always have its own effects that make a restart at best really complicated and possibly never able to occur.

Sound familiar? It should; I was saying as much in Spring 2020, in almost the exact same words. Not to toot my own horn or anything, mind. After all, a catastrophe of this magnitude is hardly a bragging matter. Just sayin’, that’s all.

This foolish Covid “cure” of lockdowns will end up being much, much worse than the disease. And it never needed to have been foisted on Americans and the entire West in the first place.

Needed? Well, no, of course not; tyranny is never “needed.” But unless stamped out upon its initial presentation without delay, it is inevitable. And be ye not deceived: when we speak of lockdowns, mask mandates, and vaccine blackmail, it’s ultimately tyranny that’s under discussion, all those other things being just specific sub-categories of the larger affliction.

All it would have taken was a few more courageous leaders or a less demonic press to protect the American people from responding to a natural disaster with even bigger man-made disasters. But we don’t have either, so Americans punished themselves by suffering 10 times what was in store had we just followed common sense and ridden out the storm with more courage and honesty.

I’m still flabbergasted at the number of us who were taken in by the whole grift, lots of them people I know personally, respect, and consider friends—intelligent, aware people who I expected to react much differently, especially as the reality of what was going on became more and more apparent. Yes, the first reports from China on this mysterious new virus were indeed alarming. But when governments pounced with such fierce alacrity on this perceived opportunity to restrict their populations to a far greater extent than they’d ever in their wildest dreams imagined they might get away with before, the jig was up. At that point it seemed to me undeniable that, whatever the facts about the virus and the seriousness of the threat it represented in those first days may have been, The Virus!!!™ had been fully co-opted by government, becoming in effect a cloak to obscure its nastiest manipulations and skullduggery beneath while they got on with the real work of all governments: erecting permanent structures to celebrate, indulge, and expand their own power, greed, and self-regard.

The least we can do to help rectify and correct our shameful behavior is be honest about what we’ve done. Acknowledging that one did wrong is the first essential step towards repentance, which is the first essential step towards restoration and wholeness.

One way would be to stop blaming Covid-19 for our irrational response to it. Instead of saying Covid or “the pandemic” caused the supply chain issues, like Biden does, we can start saying that lockdowns did so. To go a step farther, we can stop calling them “supply chain” issues at all, and call them “lockdown consequences.” That is the truth.

We can all also etch in our memories who exactly was complicit in leading us into panic and devastation, and hold them accountable. That is going to require some electoral changes, starting with the man at the top and going right down through state and federal “health” agencies. No funds for them until they clean house.

Not gonna happen, sorry. What you’re proposing is the most foolish of fool’s errands, for all sorts of reasons. Why focus on personnel when the problem is actually systemic? Allowing the system to accrue power enough that it could then be used to lock down society en bloc was our mistake. Once such a system is in place, it’s only a matter of time before people temperamentally inclined to such will come along to wield that power, a universe of possible atrocity and bad behavior suddenly unfolding before them.

Remembering the “who” is pointless; there will never be a shortage of their kind in this poor world. No, the important thing is to avoid putting temptation before such people in the first place. “Electoral changes” will never suffice to turn the trick—not when the “elections” are for offices in charge of a government whose power is effectively without limit, they won’t. You can’t resolve a cockroach infestation by bringing in new cockroaches to replace the old ones. You gotta get rid of the things that attract cockroaches, no more nor less.

In fact, there’s NO SUCH THING AS WMDs, period. Even if there were, Moslem shitrapies in the Middle East would be the last place you’d be likely to find them, Pisslam being the Religion Of Peace™ and all that. Hey, did you know that the word “Islam” actually means “Peace” when translated into English? Because it does. I bet you didn’t know that at all, did ya, H8R? Well, you do now.
