The road to serfdom

We’re well along on it, very nearly to its terminus at the junction of Tyranny Circle, Despot Street, and Banana Republic Way.

On Jan. 6, 2021, a protestor, 40-year-old Brady Knowlton, says that an officer at the Capitol told “You can go in, as long as you don’t break anything.” At 2:35 p.m., Knowlton did, entering through the Upper West Terrace doors. He looked around inside the building, walked through the Rotunda, lobby, and Senate chamber gallery, obeyed the officer’s injunction not to break anything, and left the building at 2:53 p.m. For that, Knowlton now faces twenty years in prison in Old Joe Biden’s vengeful banana republic.

On top of the possibility of being behind bars until 2042, Knowlton, a law student, has suffered numerous other consequences already. According to the Daily Wire, “his law degree has been withheld, his lawyers say, Airbnb has banned him and his wife, and, for reasons that remain undisclosed, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection has stripped his Global Entry access.”

Unbelievable, disgusting, infuriating, intolerable—these and so many more adjectives and epithets come instantly to mind. I’m just gonna give my FBI/DHS/DEA/USSS readers a heads up before I come right out and say it: These people MUST be stopped. They must be stripped of all power, driven from office, and dealt with harshly. If it comes to killing, and it’s going to…well, best be getting on with it then, before these monstrous thugs wantonly destroy many more lives based entirely on moonshine, propaganda, and lies. We The People must see to it that every last one of them is persecuted in measure at the very least commensurate to, preferably surpassing, the petty abuse they’ve dealt out themselves—measure for measure and drop for drop.

The self-defeating folly which speaks of “taking the high road” and “that’s not who we are,” that recoils in dread and horror of “beoming like them,” must be abandoned. This is no chess match, no sporting contest between respectful and gentlemanly combatants. It isn’t a mannerly, highminded way to resolve our dispute, because there ISN’T one; our dispute cannot be resolved. What this is is a vulgar brawl—no holds barred, no referee, no pretentions to an impossible politesse. No tapping out of this one, no clean, civilized capitulation. Only total submission, in a dirty, eye-gouging, ear-biting melee which only ends when one combatant lies bleeding, unconscious, or dead in the gutter.

According to the charges filed against him in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, Knowlton “did unlawfully and knowingly enter and remain in a restricted building and grounds.” He also “did knowingly, and with intent to impede and disrupt the orderly conduct of Government business and official functions, engage in disorderly and disruptive conduct in and within such proximity to, a restricted building and grounds, that is, any posted, cordoned-off, and otherwise restricted area within the United States Capitol and its grounds, where the Vice President and Vice President-elect were temporarily visiting.” He “willfully and knowingly engaged in disorderly and disruptive conduct within the United States Capitol Grounds.

Y’know, exactly as their like-minded ancestors did back in 1775-6, the obstreperous brutes. The similarities between THEIR terrorists, insurrectionists, and lawless brigands and OURS are striking.

In short, America was a huge underground economy. Here trade was free and enterprise unrestricted. Taxes were so often evaded that for all practical purposes there were none; a person could keep everything he earned. He could save, and invest, and eventually have his own thriving business or farm that would provide jobs for the next wave of immigrants.

Inhabited by rebellious, individualistic smugglers and tax evaders, America quickly became the most prosperous place on earth.

You may have seen pictures of the Pine Tree Flag flown by American warships during the Revolution. Why would the colonists put a pine tree on their battle flag?

The (British) government had enacted a regulation saying no colonist could cut down tall, straight trees; these trees were to be reserved for masts on Navy ships. This meant the best, most valuable trees on a person’s land had, in effect, been confiscated by the government.

When a government tree inspector would come through the forest to select and mark the best trees, colonists would follow him. These inspectors were highly trained experts, good at identifying the best trees for Navy ships – the Navy ships that were constantly pursuing smuggling ships.

When the government’s lumberjacks then came through the forest to collect the marked trees, they would find the trees had already been cut and sold – for use on the smuggling ships.

One of these ships was THE LIBERTY, owned by John Hancock. Hancock was a successful wine merchant known throughout the colonies as “The Prince of Smugglers.”  His reputation eventually earned him the honor of being the first to sign the Declaration of Independence.

Unfortunately, as the story of the Pine Tree illustrates, America did not remain beyond the reach of government. As the colonists’ wealth increased, politicians began making more and more efforts to steal – “tax” – this wealth.  More and more bureaucrats and troops were sent to the colonies to enforce laws and shut down down the underground economy.

The colonists’ reaction was dramatic. The infamous Stamp Tax, for instance, was greeted by armed rebellion; tax collectors were tarred and feathered, a procedure which usually resulted in death. When John Hancock was arrested, the people rioted and the government’s agents barely escaped with their lives.

As I’m sure you all know, these examples are only the tip of a very large iceberg of criminality and treason. Read all of this one; the discussion which follows—of Jonathan Mayhew’s 1750 “Higher Law” sermon, which would become the intellectual lynchpin of the American Revolution—is well worth the price of admission itself. Now back to our own lawless brigands.

If Knowlton’s contention that a police officer said he could go in is true, it vitiates all these charges, and Knowlton’s claim is certainly corroborated by photographic and video evidence of cops at the Capitol opening gates, holding the doors open for protestors, and reports that police even posed for selfies with protestors.

Oh, it does far more than vitiate them; it refutes them utterly, revealing for all to see contra-Constitutional of the illegitimacy of the US Superstate. Also, when the FBI raided Knowlton’s home, they found no evidence whatsoever “concerning the breach and unlawful entry” of the Capitol, or “of any conspiracy, planning, or preparation,” or “maps or diagrams” of the Capitol, or of any “materials, devices, or tools” that Knowlton might have planned to use to get inside.

So why is the government pursuing Knowlton with such ferocity?

Because the Ruling Class of any dictatorship simply cannot afford to let dissent and protest flourish unmolested; it must be ruthlessly crushed without delay, lest it become widespread enough to eventually be a credible threat to them. Increasing (and increasingly strident) political dissent, then a Resistance movement to the tyrannous government, resulting in the immediate, excessive response from the tyrants, are markers indicating progress along History’s path. Team Liberty today is farther along that path than it may think, but definitely not nearly as far as we probably should be.

The most bitter irony of our time is two-fold: first, the ugly spectacle of government officials making a show of solemnly swearing an oath they have no intention of honoring, to protect and defend a Constitution they have no affection for or allegiance to. Second, the irksome annual midsummer orgy of seal-like barking, peacock-like strutting, and self-congratulatory “celebration of Muh Freedumbs!” by the same clueless ignorami who mindlessly assist in the forging of the very chains that bind and subdue them—chains whose loud clanking they mulishly refuse to hear.

Imagine a country that imprisons peaceful protestors on false charges of participating in an attempt to overthrow the government, as part of efforts to discredit and ultimately criminalize all opposition to the ruling party’s agenda.

Don’t need to “imagine,” Robert; we’re living in one. Amerika v2.0 today evinces nearly every telltale characteristic and/or condition that, taken altogether, explicitly define the word tyranny. There are but a steadily-dwindling few of those boxes left to be ticked off. As far as we know, I mean.

People who entered a public building when police held the door open for them are being held in solitary confinement and given draconian punishments far out of proportion to what they actually did. This is the sort of thing that happens in Third World countries, right? This is the sort of thing tinpot dictators do in banana republics, where the rulers gained power by underhanded means and have no respect for due process, the rule of law, or the rights of their citizens — right?

Well, yes, of course it is. It all has an extremely familiar ring to it, like the chorus of an old favorite song you haven’t heard in years and whose lyrics you can’t quite retrieve from the mists of memory, as well it should.

In America, we no longer have a single justice system for all people, regardless of race, or of power, or privilege, or the protected victimhood status they may have among the Leftist intelligentsia. We no longer have a justice system that is indifferent to and independent of political pressure. The politically and culturally dominant Left is not content with the massive power and influence it wields now; it is determined to silence all opposition and destroy it utterly.

And they’re very near now to successful realization of ALL their ambition, in full. Which is why the people must very soon rise up to bring them down utterly, using any and all means. We long ago failed to acknowledge the deadly threat they represent; for a long age, we averted our gaze as the cancer metastasized, undermined, and doubled and redoubled its deadly power. Now, thanks to our own sloth and self-deception, instead of swatting a mosquito in order to remove a mere nuisance, we must destroy an overgrown, hulking monster—a fearful Juggernaut whose strength and capabilities have waxed to the full, while our own have waned.

If this be treason, make the most of it. And may God grant that we prove able to live up to our forebears’ example.

System of spoilage

How to drain a Swamp.

Virtually all Americans believed, until the inauguration of Donald Trump as president on January 20, 2017, that when someone became president, he could begin to implement his agenda. Certainly Old Joe Biden’s handlers have done so with a vengeance since they took over; but when Trump became president, he immediately began to encounter resistance from entrenched members of the government bureaucracy who refused to do as he ordered. Some worked actively against Trump, while the establishment media assured us that these self-appointed “deep state” saboteurs were the courageous guardians of “our democracy.” At his South Carolina rally Saturday night, Trump continued to tease a 2024 run and made a new promise about how he would break the power of the unelected “deep state.”

“We will pass critical reforms,” Trump said, “making every executive branch employee fireable by the president of the United States. The deep state must and will be brought to heel.”

It’s a commonsensical solution, as Ohio Senate candidate J.D. Vance pointed out. “Everyone is losing their mind about this, but I’ve been calling for it at every town hall I do. Either the president controls the executive branch or he doesn’t. If he doesn’t, we don’t live in a Republic, we live in a civil service driven oligarchy.”

Ummm, hate to be the one to have to tell ya and all, JD, but…

Quite so. And although the “deep state” only came to the attention of most Americans over the last few years, the controversy over the hiring and firing of civil service employees is one of the oldest controversies of the republic. As Rating America’s Presidents explains, Andrew Jackson was elected president in 1828 on promises to end the hegemony of a privileged aristocracy, and, to drain that swamp, he would need his own men in key positions. He removed a large number of civil service employees and replaced them with men of his own faction, which came to be known as the Democracy, or Democratic Party. This came to be known as the spoils system, after the old adage “To the victor belong the spoils.”

The spoils system essentially died with the assassination of President James A. Garfield in 1881. Garfield believed that the spoils system was an unending source of government corruption and pushed for measures that would end it, only to be shot by a man who publicly proclaimed that he was doing so because he belonged to the faction of the Republican party, the Stalwarts, that supported the spoils system. Garfield’s successor, Chester Arthur, was a Stalwart, but he demonstrated immense personal courage and honor in choosing to carry out the wishes of his slain predecessor rather than implement his own contrary agenda. His decision to do this effectively ended his political career, as he almost certainly knew it would, and yet he stood firm.

Can anyone even imagine a modern ProPol sacrificing his almighty DC sinecure solely on principle? Oh HELL no. America was indeed a very different country then, and Americans were very different people.

The proponents of civil service reform never envisioned a situation in which unelected and unaccountable opponents of a sitting president in the FBI, the Justice Department, and elsewhere would be determined to destroy the president — or at the very least make it impossible for him to carry out his policies — and could not be removed from their jobs because of civil service regulations.

Wouldn’t government work more smoothly, and the executive branch be able to operate more effectively in the way the Founding Fathers envisioned it would, if the president were able to clear out the employees of these agencies who opposed him and replace them with people more in line with his vision?

The spoils system has no defenders today, and has had none for over a century. It should have more. Trump is on the right track.

Perhaps, perhaps. However, that Swamp creatures were willing to do murder to preserve their spoils-system perks and privileges all thE way back in 1881 probably tells you all you need to know about just how likely Trump’s proposal really is to ever see the light of day today. There’s no indication that Swamp critters have moderated their determination to defend their prized Ruling Class status, not that I’ve ever seen. Anybody truly serious about ending the spoils system of legalized graft and corruption had best be prepared to commit violence in the attempt; it’s a lead-pipe cinch they’ll have plenty of it visited upon them by those who hope to thwart any meaningful reform.

Blowback for Brandon

Hey, if the shoe fits…which, y’know, it does.

BREAKING: Laid-off Keystone XL pipeline workers BLAST Joe Biden for LYING about American oil production

Laid-off Keystone XL pipeline workers had choice words for President Joe Biden in a Fox News segment Saturday. Focusing on soaring gas prices across America, the segment included interviews with a group of laid-off workers.

“We should be able to sustain ourselves and not depend on other nations raising their price and then affect us. That shouldn’t even be in the question,” one worker told Fox News.

The Fox News reporter then asked: “If we want to get the price of gas down right now, we want to drop the price of gas, what do we need to do right now?”

“Put us to work right now. And you will see not only the fuel prices go down, but you will see the price of everything else go down with it,” the worker replied.

Workers then turned attention to Biden. “He’s pushing for solar and wind power, but it’s been proven over and over, that’s just not as efficient as burning natural gas, refining crude.” Another worked continued, saying: “We are sick of hearing, ‘This is Putin’s price hike.'”

Plenty more where that came from—every word a gem, every word the plain and simple 24-karat truth, the most salient insight helpfully emphasized above by moi. Brandon and his co-conspirators should be made to own their intentional sabotage of American energy independence, though. After all, it’s not as if they haven’t lectured, hectored, and pimped their silly, emasculated electric toy “cars”—along with the whole kit and kaboodle of their obsolete and unworkable “sustainable energy” folderol—long enough for everyone to know their true colors by now: Green, and Red.

It’s not as if they don’t realize the damage their lunatic jihad against fossil fuels—the most efficient, reliable, easily-gleaned and -managed energy source there is as of right this minute, the only one even remotely capable of powering a robust industrial economy—has and will do to the US, its economy, and ordinary Americans, mind. They know full well. It’s just that they don’t give a flying fuck at a plate-glass window about it, that’s all. At this point, they appear to have lost all patience, abandoned the gauzy illusion of logical persuasion and fair debate, and have moved on to openly waging economic war against the legitimate interests of the nation and her people—a most cruel and abominable war indeed.

Alas, but this is who they are. This iswhat they do. For the Left, the Almighty Agenda—raw, untrammeled power and control—always and forever comes first, overriding all other concerns. T’was ever thus, or nearly so. The last honest, honorable, and sincerely patriotic Democrat expired along with JFK or thereabouts, leaving us with the bizarre degenerates we’re saddled with at present. The modern bumper crop of amoral, hedonistic Democrats are an affliction, a cancer, one that must be excised completely, by whatever means necessary, if the body politic is ever to be restored to some semblance of health. Mike Walsh knows the scoremostly.

A specter is haunting America—the specter of the Democrat Party. Like an evil spirit that cannot be exorcised, the Democrats have been plaguing the United States since Aaron Burr shot and killed Alexander Hamilton in 1804. Ferociously pro-slavery, the Democrats divided the country practically from its inception, blocked the path to abolition and eventually took up arms against the nation after the election of the first Republican president, firing on Fort Sumter and seceding en masse from the Union. And, a week after they had lost that war, one of them assassinated Abraham Lincoln, elevating a Democrat from a Confederate state to the presidency, and plunging the country into more needless turmoil.

With a track record like this it’s a wonder the party is even still legal.

It really shouldn’t oughta be, and I mean that with every fibre of my being, literally and sincerely. No nation-state with the least regard for its own legitimacy is in any way obligated to tolerate the existence of a powerful political party flatly sworn to undermine, weaken, and injure said nation-state, even as it is diligently beavering away at that self-same project. As for the tyrannies, look to history to provide numerous examples of just how forgiving a dictator and/or ruling cabal usually is when it comes to clutching national parties fomenting unrest and insurrection fondly to its bosom, allowing them to carry on unmolested.

Hell, in those places you’re liable to the get the chop merely for walking around in public view with the smallest, most respectful and innocuous protest sign conceivable hoisted over your shoulder. Anything more radical than the most obsequious and Milquetoast-ian dissent, and the State’s bullyboys will fall on your doomed head like a crap-ton of sizeable rocks. Won’t be no dragging of the feet about the matter, either. The absolute least such an igner’nt fool can anticipate is to wake up next morning chained to a wall of a damp, noisome cell enjoying a ferocious headache; a seriously split lip; a whole passel of fresh new aches, pains, and deep-purple bruising scattered about his body; and little to no memory of how he got himself into this sorry state.

Make no mistake: rhe more strident you wax in your political agitation, the worse things are going to get for you. Count on it. Far better to just keep your lip zipped; walk with a bit of a stoop and a shuffle, no hint of any confident strut showing through; accept whatever Authority gives you without question or complaint; and make sure you’re always securely tucked into the middle of a crowd of other people, safely out of easy sight whenever you’re out and about, and you’ll be all right. Probably. Think “grey, ordinary, bland” so hard you actually project that image bodily, so that the aura of your shy, harmless nature rises off of you in visible waves.

For more on this, you want to take a leisurely stroll through the indispensable Julie Kelly’s AmGreat Jan 6 “riot” archive. These columns are an unflinching examination at the mid-to-late stages of America’s godawful descent from more-or-less proper governance into Tyranny Most Dire, vital material for anyone with a stomach strong enough to handle them. It’s dismal, ugly stuff, trust me it is—achingly painful reading for any poor naif still clinging to the battered belief in the ongoing existence of his cherished but long-extinct Republic, however far afield it may have strayed from the golden dreams of its Founders. Be sure you have a fifth of something stout handy when you do this. Trust me, you’re going to need it.

And yet, after the bloodiest war in our history—and with a sizable component of “peace Democrats” in the North actively rooting and voting against Lincoln in the election of 1864 while supporting his opponent: the failed Union general George McClellan—they’re still around to plague us. It wasn’t until the arrival of Ulysses S. Grant as commander of all the Union armies in 1864 that Honest Abe found the right man for the job: someone who would mercilessly crush the life out of the Democrats and their armies, destroy slavery, and reunite the states.

The midterms are still eight months away but Real America is crying out for succor right now.

Well, DUH. They’re worried, they’re out of work, the grocery-store pickin’s are mighty slim. Which is no real issue anyhow: even if there WAS food on those shelves like in the Goode Olde Days of yore, they couldn’t afford to buy any thanks to Bidenflation. Certainly, a few gallons of gas for the drive over is WAY out of reach. For the first time since the Great Depression, Americans are confronting real deprivation and want, after long luxuriating in the plenitude created by the system they passively watched being ruined a-purpose, when they weren’t actively helping destroy it. Worse, as I’ve said before, this is only the beginning of our national nightmare. When it will end, IF it will end, is known only to God Himself.

I only wish I could believe that this planned disaster, with its concomitant needless suffering, would be enough for Americans to finally and fully understand what the bitter, toxic fruits of Demonrat rule have been for nigh on a century, and to firmly decide they don’t want anything more to do with the lousy bastards. If the howling hell-storm now unfurling all around us finishes the criminal conspiracy masquerading as a political party for good, erasing all traces of their malignant misrule forever, I’d consider it well worth the suffering. Sorry, but I can’t.

Hoping that their Uniparty partners-in-crime might be taken down along with the Dems is just bugfiucknuts. Oh, I suppose it’s barely&mdas;BARELY—possible, sure. But it’s wildly, grotesquely improbable. Nobody should waste any time fantasizing about it, lest such useless woolgathering obscure or distract us from the arduous real-world work required to actually get the thing done.

Gasoline, home heating oil, electricity, natural gas—the prices continue to soar, already past the point of recent plausibility and heading into economic terra incognita. Millions of illegal aliens pour across the nearly erased southern border. A befuddled Joe Biden threatens to sleepwalk us into an armed conflict with the ghost of the old Soviet Union in the form of Vladimir Putin’s Russia, and disinformation is rife on both sides of the conflict in the Ukraine. In a parliamentary system, Biden’s government would have fallen right after the debacle in Afghanistan—but barring a miracle we’ve got another three years to suffer.

For just over a year, Americans have watched with admirable patience as their economy collapsed, their legal system was perverted to serve the interests of a few, their nation’s military degraded, and their freedom of speech subverted via the government’s fascistic and unconstitutional co-opting of the social media sites. Meanwhile, woke corporations and a thoroughly compromised media crack down on the commercial and personal privacy of anybody that runs afoul of the New Normal while manic Greens demand a return to the days of three-masted schooners and windmills. Such relentless cultural and economic sabotage would be considered an act of war if done by anyone else—but here it goes by the fellow-traveler names of “dissent,” “patriotism,” and “progressivism.”

Walsh goes on from there to lob a few undeserved stinkbombs at Trump as if he was still at all relevant, and then this:

The other is Florida governor Ron DeSantis. Smart, pugnacious, and unflappable, DeSantis has emerged as the chief thorn in Joe Biden and the Left’s side. After his narrow win over a guy who was later found dead drunk in a Miami Beach hotel room he was sharing with a gay porn producer who had overdosed on crystal meth, DeSantis has cemented his hold on the former swing state, turning it solid red. Unlike Trump, who at the moment is powerless, the squeaky-clean DeSantis upstages Biden and the Democrats on a regular basis; his canny and unflappable handling of the “pandemic” has given rise to a new nickname for the Sunshine State: the Free State of Florida.

DeSantis, 43, can make no public noises about seeking the presidency at this point. He must get past his re-election for governor in the fall first and hope the voters rally to take back control of Congress from the narrowest-of-narrow Democrat majorities. With his wife, Casey, now seemingly recovered from a bout with cancer, he is sitting pretty.

It’s widely thought that if Trump declares, DeSantis will wait his turn in 2028. But why should he spend four years on ice behind a lightning rod with no further political future? Polls already show him creeping up on Trump and a smashing re-election victory will only gain him more prominence. Lots can happen in three years, especially when his possible primary opponent is getting on in years. After Biden, will America want another geriatric president? Or will the voters prefer a guy 32 years younger, with nothing but upside?

I hope and pray he stays on in Florida instead. DeSantis can render the remaining handful of non-authoritarian fragments of what was once the great American republic far greater service there than in Mordor On The Potomac, where the Deep State’s legions of orcs, trolls, and winged Nazgul will rip him to bloody gobbets of raw meat as they did Trump.

Sorry, Mike, but there really, truly is no voting our way out of this. However it comes about, something far more direct, proactive, and potent than toodling on over to the local polling place to cast a meaningless ballot in a systemically corrupt “election” is gonna be required of us. Possibly, a way may yet be found short of actual, violent revolution against the bloated, evil Federal Leviathan. We should all pray for that. But it WILL involve some level of violent upheaval, of that I’m certain. The yawning divide between us is simply unbridgeable to allow for anything less, and unless and until the Left’s marrow-deep megalomania is well and truly extinguished the conflict will rage on, even intensify.

For my own part, I find myself losing interest more and more in national politics and the DC doings. After all we’ve witnessed since Inauguration Day 2016, the DC charade and rot so gallantly exposed by Trump has left me largely indifferent as to who might be installed in the now-tainted White House as figurehead-of-state, beyond whatever entertainment value one can derive from it. Our self-declared Masters are gonna do what they’re gonna do regardless, leaving the workaday schlubs to pay the freight for their disastrously inept folly as per usual. Until they’ve been thrown off, by hook or by crook, there really isn’t a whole lot for the little guy to do other than just grin and bear it.

Update! More on Brandon’s wholly-intentional and pre-planned fuel-price assault on America.

Nonprofit food deliveries concerned cost of gas could price out volunteer drivers
It’s never been more expensive for volunteer food drivers to make deliveries for nonprofits. The cost of gas in Georgia is more than $4 per gallon, an all-time high.

Meals on Wheels volunteer driver Sal Depasquale brings food to 89-year-old Frances Crowder once a week.

“He’s always on time,” Crowder said. “Oh boy, I don’t know what we’d do without Mr. Sal.”

Inserted betwixt the above paragraph and the next one, we find one of those ubiquitous clickbait links to another related article, which I found modestly amusing:

BIDEN: ‘CAN’T DO MUCH RIGHT NOW’ TO LOWER SOARING GAS PRICES, ‘RUSSIA’S RESPONSIBLE’

Gratifying to see this hapless liar floundering so desperately, innit? Allow me to translate Dopey Gropey’s usual ham-fisted prevarication into Truth:

  • Say not “can’t,” Gropey. Say “won’t,” or if that doesn’t suffice to keep the risible, pathetic attempt at deception semi-viable and your lying ass covered, try “have no desire to” instead.
    • Okay, the closing schnauzer-slodder is getting quite damned stale at this point. After so many years watching you blaggards fellate your beloved USSR, all dewy-eyed and face lovingly aflush as you were gratingly demanding the US hew closely to its horrid example, later compounded by your latest beloved candidate for Token First Female President’s use of the Rooskies to underhandedly, illegally, even treasonously slither her way into the White House, your sudden volte face into frothing hatred for all things Russia and/or Putin has a distinctly malodorous aroma wafting from it. As for Putin himself, I just can’t make myself jump into those waters along with everybody and his sister’s cat’s grandmother, seemingly. Yes, yes, yes: dictator, strongman, warlord, thug—got it, granted, so stipulated. So what the bloody deuce did y’all expect from Russia, anyway? I mean, it’s Russia, ferchrissake. Throughout its history, whenever they’ve slipped up and allowed somebody who really WASN’T one or all of those things to take power as head of state, they’ve bestirred themselves to correct the error toot sweet. I do heartily disapprove of his jumping poor Poland, yes; I would much prefer the valiant, indomitable, and admirable Poles to remain free and independent. But is there a soul so innocent and/or oblivious as to have been at all surprised by it?

His deplorable Ukraine incursion aside, though, which I’m confident will be undone sooner rather than later, I must confess I’m just a wee mite fond of Putin. His sneering, openly-expressed contempt for President Mommy Jeans I thoroughly enjoyed; his proud basking in traditional masculinity and its multitude of related sins, with none of the obllgatory genuflecting and fashionable groveling towards the LGBTQIXN39Whatthefuckever herd-orthodoxy I find refreshing. He’s something of a throwback to an earlier era, a more clear, natural, and honest age. I must say, if the choice was offered of either Putin or the decrepit bleeding hemorrhoid we’re suffering under now as the US president, I’d take the unevolved Rooskie trog any day of the week, and twice on Sundays. We could use a strong, no-bullshit leader like ol’ Vlad right about now, I think.

In any event, Brandon’s odd reflex to blame anything and everything on Russia has not a thing to do with reality and everything to do with Gropey’s will to somehow survive politically, to stanch the copious bleeding of his innumerable self-inflicted wounds. But enough of that, back to the original topic we go.

Meals on Wheels is a nonprofit food delivery service. Depasquale has been a volunteer driver for more than 10 years.

“It’s a valuable service, and it helps people who need help,” Depasquale said.

It’s never been more expensive for drivers to make deliveries. The cost of gas in Georgia is more than $4 per gallon, an all-time high. Depasquale makes three or four deliveries every week. He’s concerned if prices continue to skyrocket, volunteer drivers like him will drop out. This could dramatically increase his workload and pain at the pump.

Cross Services, Meals on Wheels’s parent company, is watching gas prices around the country. The company still has enough drivers to make deliveries, but are afraid that could change if prices stay this high.

“Hopefully we’ll retain them,” said Cross Services Senior Services Coordinator Mary Jo Buettner. “But, again it depends on how long that price of gas stays up so high and keeps going up.”

As long as Democrats are in charge, be assured that that is precisely what they’ll do. For them, this situation is no disaster, no terrible problem that must be remedied. It represehts the successful implementation of a long-standing policy goal—a win, not a loss or mistake. The misery will not just continue, but increase…until they have been removed from power. Far from being complex or difficult to understand, it really is just that simple, folks.

Want to Make America Great Again, Heritage Americans in flyover country, small towns, and suburban enclaves? You have to Make Democrats Afraid Again, then see to it they stay that way. Like it or not, it’s the only way; nothing less will do the trick.

A final note: my brother tells me that his conversations with other truckers indicate that, should diesel passe the five-dollar/gallon mark, a large number of his fellow independents and owner/operators intend to shut ’em down. They’ll do it too; they’ll have to, they won’t have any choice in the matter. My brother his own self is near that point already; he told me the other day that his every-other-day fillup, formerly around 250 to 300 dollars, cost him well over eight hundred bucks last time. No business can go on hemorrhaging that kind of money for very long before quickly bleeding out. Think the huge truck-driver shortage, a genuinely dangerous situation, couldn’t possibly get much worse than it already is? Think the price of every good, every commodity, can’t keep rising so insanely? Think this is a crisis we’re in now? Just you wait until thousands more trucks, the lifeblood of our economy, have been taken off the road for good.

Again: only the beginning, now unstoppable, needless and nonsensical. All of it, every last bit, a man-caused disaster created entirely and intentionally by Leftard Democrats, for nefarious purposes. That’s the long and the short of it. I won’t be lending my endorsement by participating further in American “elections,” as if they were above-board and credible, thereby granting tacit, open-ended license to my oppressors to do as they please, rather than the bread-and-circuses theatrical distraction they in fact are. But I do wish someone who feels differently about it would sit down and explain to me how ANY decent, reasonably intelligent and informed adult—seeing all that we’ve seen, knowing all that we know, at least nominally awake and of sound mind generally—could even hypothetically justify voting for a Democrat, ever.

And yet.

Where such people are I don’t know. They’re outside my ken. But sometimes, when I’m in a twee coffee bar or near a spontaneous drum circle, I can feel them.

The mind, it boggles.

Omicron-O-Mighty!

Dick with ears skeets off yet again.

BRENNAN: Senator Cruz told the attorney general you should be prosecuted.

FAUCI: Yeah. I have to laugh at that. I should be prosecuted? What happened on Jan. 6, senator?

BRENNAN: Do you think that this is about making you a scapegoat to deflect–

DR. FAUCI: Of course-

BRENNAN: –From President Trump?

FAUCI: Of course, you have to be asleep not to figure that one out.

BRENNAN: Well, there are a lot of Republican senators taking aim at this. I mean–

FAUCI: That’s OK, I’m just going to do my job and I’m going to be saving lives and they’re going to be lying.

It is a tragic and embarrassing statement about the American people and their commitment to their own Constitutional rights, to liberty itself, that “Dr” Anthony “Mengele The Lesser” Fauxci’s brain-pan wasn’t ventilated via long-distance .308Win or .338 Lapua HVAC service years ago. I can think of no good excuse Americans might possibly come up with to explain it. Kunstler expounds further on the poisonous little gnome.

Does it finally look like Dr. Anthony Fauci is trying to carry out an assisted suicide of the United States? On the Sunday Morning TV chat circuit, the White House Covid-19 czar (a.k.a. The Science) declared that the new Omicron variant is “a clarion call” to get people vaccinated. Is that so, Dr. Fauci? Considering how well your “vaccines” work? And how many people have been maimed and killed by their side-effects? (More than all other vaccines combined over the past thirty years.) And how you knavishly outlawed effective and cheap early treatment protocols that would have put Covid-19 down by June of 2020 (and saved half-a-million lives). The Science also called on Sunday for the general re-masking of the public and averred to the possibility of more lockdowns ahead. And just at Christmas-time, you understand. What a nose this rascal has for politics!

Senator Ted Cruz (TX) called for the Department of Justice to prosecute The Science for lying to Congress, which The Science smugly laughed off, perhaps knowing that his world-beating, maliciously incompetent leadership in the Coronavirus saga would end up incriminating and delegitimizing the entire corrupt, Pharma-captured US public health bureaucracy, with collateral damage everywhere else in government — and therefore that no authority in the land would dare to swear him under oath in a court-of-law. Or so he may think for now.

Meanwhile, Virologist Barry Schoub, Chairman of South Africa’s Ministerial Advisory Committee on COVID-19 Vaccines, declared the new Omicron Coronavirus “mild.” Could it be that the whole hoary Covid-19 narrative is falling apart now? Could Dr. Fauci and his sleazy associates in the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the WHO, the Big Pharma C-suites, the grifting university research labs, the despicable social media combine, and yet more sinister outfits such as the CIA and the WEF — might this unholy host of villains and fixers find themselves on-the-run? And might Omicron represent for them some final grasp at the last straw of narrative control?

It’s pretty clear that citizens of the liberal democracies are fed up with being pushed around, jabbed, driven out of business, lied-to, gaslighted, and deprived of their livelihoods. They increasingly can’t believe any of the bullshit issued by the medical establishment and its political hand-maidens, and why should they? The countries with the highest vaccination rates also happen to be the ones with the highest Covid cases. Countries with low vaccination rates and widespread use of early treatment with common drugs have low Covid cases. Two weeks after Japan okayed the use of Ivermectin in mid-November of this year, cases fell from a big surge down to near zero. What part of that is complicated?

The Covid-19 mindfuck worked to distract the country’s attention from the activities of characters like Lawfare avatar Marc Elias of the DNC’s Perkins Coie law firm and Marc Zuckerberg of Facebook, going all around the swing states in 2020 with sacks full of money, arranging election procedures such as mass mail-in voting with no voter ID to facilitate the victory of the obviously non compos mentis empty shell of “Joe Biden”. That did work. Just what the country needed, too, at this perilous moment of history: a fake head-of-state. The people mostly played along for two years until very lately, seeing at last how they have been robbed of their health, their wealth, their future, and very likely their children’s futures. Watch them now as they turn on the ones who made all that happen.

T’is a consummation devoutly to be wished. We’ll see, I suppose. Myself, I’m still up and then down on that prospect, and never have been anything like as confident as James is even on my best day. I’m still seeing FAR too many morons driving alone in their cars fully face-diapered up every day to be overly optimistic about it. One thing I AM absolutely certain of: No amount of Congressional “investigations,” blue-ribbon panels, and/or calls for the DoJ to “DO something!!!” are going to shift Herr Doktor Fauxci one centimeter closer to his final exit from government “service.”

No, the last, best opportunity to get rid of the mass-murdering sumbitch via nonviolent means was Trump’s, who as President could quite easily have fired the arrogant, loathsome rectal polyp long ago, and goddamned well should have too. For whatever inexplicable reason, though, Orange Man Bad didn’t get around to something that certainly should have been amongst the top five items on January 21st, 2016’s List Of Things I MUST DO As President Before Lunch Today, and…well, that’s that, really. Nobody better be wasting time or effort hoping Shits ‘N’ Giggles are gonna do it, nor whoever the next three or eight TPTB-approved Pretend Presidents end up being, either. It’s another of those jobs that, if they truly want it done, Real Americans are just going to have to roll up their sleeves—so to speak—and do it themselves.

Update! In New Zealand, in Australia, in the UK, in Austria, in the FUSA, there is a simple, self-evident truth that applies across the entire world: No national populace has ever complied its way out of tyranny.

Yesterday the Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, announced her infantile traffic light system, which will govern everything you can and can’t do as decided by the bureaucrats in Wellington.

It is as illogical as it is childish. For example “Green is when COVID-19 is across New Zealand, including sporadic imported cases. Community transmission is limited and COVID-19 hospitalisations will be at a manageable level. The health system will be ready to respond, including primary care, public health, and hospitals.”

That is like MOST OF NZ! Yet she’s plunged most of the country into Orange and the rest into Red.

Apparently, the draconian restrictions placed on the unvaxxed is to keep us all safe from the vaxxed…I’m not kidding. The lack of joined-up thinking is getting to ridiculous proportions.

If you are still unvaxxed at this point in time you aren’t going to get vaxxed. We’ve made our choice, we don’t need protection from anyone or anything. This is a nanny state writ large.

Meanwhile, more evidence has been revealed that shows the “protection” the vaccines supposedly impart to the population is a mirage, or a sham.

This ends when enough of you stop playing their stupid games. While you still think you can comply your way out of tyranny the silly games with silly prizes will just keep on coming.

The tyrant is drunk on the power she’s got. She isn’t going to let it go easily. She most certainly won’t let it go by you complying with the demands.

But the unvaxxed now have another tool in their kitbag. The government has declared us Untermenschen. Grant Robertson is suggesting that if you are unvaxxed or if your business doesn’t use their rules then you will no longer be able to access government assistance.

So the unvaxxed should cease paying tax and their businesses should cease paying tax. We have been frozen out of society, so we should cease to contribute to the society that is oppressing us.

Lock us out, ostracise us, take our freedoms, send us underground. This is a classic example of how people become radicalised. And this is all on Jacinda Ardern. She’s created divisions and hate when there was none before.

The tyrant must be deposed. I have no idea yet how that happens, but happen it must.

Oh, I think you do have an idea, actually. We ALL know full well “how that happens”; it’s never been any big secret, there’s no mystery to it all. There has only ever been just the one way to do it, and anyone with even a passing knowledge of history knows precisely what that is. While we’re at it, let’s be perfectly clear on an important distinction: excepting rare instances under unusual circumstances, throwing off a despotic government isn’t something that just “happens.” Rather, it is an extremely dangerous, drawn-out, and arduous process, requiring tremendous sacrifice of those valiant souls who actively and consciously undertake to DO it.

Liberation from tyranny does not HAPPEN—passively, spontaneously, all unlooked-for and out of the blue. Revolution, to call it by its proper name, is DONE—actively, purposefully, only after a long train of ever-escalating abuses and usurpations has finally outstripped the willingness or ability of the abused to endure more of it. My own internal back-and-forth over when, or even whether, over-entitled, risk-phobic Kens and Karens in what used to be America might get fed up enough to hoist the black flag and start cutting throats aside, make no mistake: EVERY national population has its limit, and WILL surely revolt if its would-be rulers exceed it, whether from malice, overconfidence, or fateful inattentiveness.

Present-day dimestore dictators such as Fauxci and the rest of his vile ilk do themselves no favor when they forget or ignore a certain truism, constant and reliable enough to amount to a mathematical equation of sorts:

What this is doing is encouraging extremism. It will, if it continues, end in bloodshed. Of either the refuseniks, or the tyrant enablers. A wise ruler would step back now.

Because the more one oppresses, the harsher will you be treated.

Yep. T’was ever thus, and ever will be. Sadly, tragically even, wise rulers seem to be in decidedly short supply nowadays. But sooner or later, in one way or another, they will learn. ALL will learn.

Again.

Common culprit

I’ve been wondering when (or if) anyone was going to notice this, and was beginning to think it would be left up to me to bring it up myself. Thankfully, Glenn finally saved me the trouble, although even he doesn’t get it entirely right.

A common thread in Waukesha tragedy, Kenosha shootings: Government failure

See the problem there? It’s hardly an unusual mistake, and it’s one I’ve carped about more than once of late: an erroneous premise, assuming something not actually in evidence. Onwards.

When white teenager Kyle Rittenhouse shot three white men who were violently assaulting him, it somehow got treated by the press and politicians as a racial hate crime. President Joe Biden (falsely) called Rittenhouse a white supremacist, and the discussion of his case was so focused on racial issues that many Americans mistakenly thought that the three men Rittenhouse shot were black.

But when a black man, Darrell Brooks, with a long history of posting hateful anti-white rhetoric on social media drove a car into a mostly white Christmas parade, killing six people and injuring dozens, the press was eager to wish the story away. (The New York Times buried it on page A22.) Even when a Black Lives Matter activist connected it to the Rittenhouse verdict, observing “it sounds like the revolution has started,” the media generally downplayed it.

Were the races reversed, of course, we all know that the press would be turning its coverage up to 11, with deep dives into Darrell Brooks’ associations, beliefs, friends and family and more. But doing that here wouldn’t fit the narrative.

In fact, though, there is a thread connecting the Rittenhouse shootings and the Waukesha mass murder. But the thread isn’t so much racism as awful Democratic politicians.

After police shot Jacob Blake in Kenosha, sparking unrest, Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers (D) didn’t call up the National Guard and secure the streets. Instead, he sent out an inflammatory tweet, saying, “What we know for certain is that he is not the first Black man or person to have been shot or injured or mercilessly killed at the hands of individuals in law enforcement in our state or our country.”

What followed was a night of arson and rioting. Evers nonetheless sent only a trickle of National Guard over the next two days and declined federal assistance. The result was a huge amount of violence and property destruction (largely affecting the city’s working-class and poor neighborhoods) and a background of unrest that led Kyle Rittenhouse to try to guard businesses and help the injured — a teenager setting out to do what the government refused to do.

Likewise, the Waukesha mass murder was the result of government failure. Darrell Brooks had already been charged with deliberately running over his girlfriend at a gas station and, incredibly, had been released on a mere $1,000 bail. All told, Brooks had been charged with three felonies, plus resistance to arrest and bail jumping.

All that and only $1,000 bail?

Both the Kenosha shootings and the Waukesha mass murder happened because the government failed to do its job. Those are the wages of progressive politics. For the likes of Evers, Chisholm and AOC, the wages are good. But the rest of us pay.

Betwixt the above excerpt’s penultimate paragraph and the last one, Insty makes some good points, but the problem I mentioned above remains: as is almost always the case, these particular incidents are not examples of Demonrat policy failure, but success. Last year’s officially-endorsed chaos served the real purpose perfectly: it drove Trump from office, intimidated and terrorized the intended targets, and drove in the wedge between racial and socioeconomic classes further and more snugly—all vital and ongoing projects for not only the Demonrat Party specifically, but for the Uniparty/Deep State/TPTB generally.

Only to People of the Blue Pill, whose vision is distorted by the mistaken assumption that their goals and intentions are roughly the same as ours, can such resounding success look like failure. Once you let go and realize that there is actually not the slightest congruity between them, it all begins to make sense. Even the best mechanic can’t determine what’s wrong with the engine until he’s raised the hood.

TL’s letter to Congress

He could’ve stopped with the first two sentences as far as I’m concerned. First word, really.

Open letter to Congress

Resign. It’s the only way out.

The dark winter is coming and the diabolical bills you’ve passed will be the end of your career. You’ve flouted fiduciary responsibility for the people’s money and enslaved them with debt. Already, the spending bills you passed as Covid relief, that largely helped every other nation but your own, every other people but your own, are driving inflation to unsustainable levels, the likes of which only Venezuela has seen and because of the same policies. The infrastructure bill that put in place communistic programs and restrictive laws while offering only one third of it to actual infrastructure, will ensure that rival communist nations will benefit far more from them than our own people, destroying jobs here and making jobs there. Thirteen Republicans voted for that, who are not only traitors to their oaths, but opportunists and political hacks.

Not one bit of it accident or coincidence, all of it purposefully and maliciously done.

Only a handful of you legally occupy the seats of the House and Senate. Some are frauds through election tampering, some are frauds through a violation of the oath of office, some are frauds through bribery and corruption. Is that why you refuse to look at election integrity when 52% of the people believe the election was tainted? Fifty-two percent isn’t enough to get Republicans to embrace a national audit, not a recount, a forensic audit? You refer to this as a “democracy” over and over, yet you ignore the mandate for these audits by democratic means.

You wonder why the people think you are cowards and frauds? Democrats should be as interested in an actual accounting of that obviously flawed and illegal election, because it is their legitimacy on the line as much as Republicans. More so, because they are accused of the criminal activities that allowed it, but they are silent. Is it because they are guilty?

Yes—either because they’re complicit, or because they tacitly approve.

You have left the border open, numerous times refusing to complete the wall, allowing border agents to be used as abettors to criminal activity violating the laws otherwise passed by better congresses. You have made National Guard units to abet those same crimes. Meanwhile wholesale crossings continue and the word has gotten out to the world. Document dumps on the Mexican side of the border reveal people from India, Malaysia, Iraq and several other nations. There is no vetting and a great deal of the lawlessness is child-sex trafficking, but your voices are silent, watching in amusement, I suppose, while those you have impoverished watch as jobs disappear and what tax dollars they pay go to sustain and payoff those wreaking havoc on our southern border towns. You have allowed this administration to bus them all across the nation. What spending bill allowed that? Where is the money coming from, if not from you, the sole origination of spending bills?

There is no forgiveness, because we, the American people, handed you a strong nation, a powerful nation, a wealthy nation and you squandered it for self-aggrandizement and power. It now suffers from an energy crisis when only nine months ago it was self-sufficient. It now suffers from empty shelves, when nine months ago they were full. It now suffers from a worker shortage in hospitals, transportation and construction, because the fraudulently installed Joe Biden decided that there would be a “vaccine” mandate that has been ruled unconstitutional by the Fifth Circuit, because there is no “dire emergency” in America except that it suffers from a corrupt congress and a pathetically incompetent and tyrannical administration.

At this point, forgiveness ought to be the last thing on every Real American mind. The primary ideas on them instead should be vengeance, retribution, and justice; forgiveness can be granted only after those things have all been properly meted ought.

You have allowed the Department of Justice to threaten parents over speaking out against the racist Critical Race Theory curriculum in schools, mask mandates and transgender policies that anyone with common sense knew would result in rapes of young girls in school bathrooms and when it did, you did not speak out for parents and demand a stop to it, or even an investigation, or pass legislation that would stop it. No, you sat there in your publicly funded chairs and counted your campaign cash.

This letter is not in defense of Republicans, nor aimed at Democrats, but rather at the whole of the congress which, from any rational assessment is corrupt, illegitimate and dangerous to the safety and welfare of the people.

Every word a gem, every word perfectly true and beyond dispute. You should read each and every one of them, of course. Above all, Congress should too, and would if they were anything like as smart as they think they are, if only so as to inform themselves of what’s coming for them. But they aren’t, they won’t, so come it will, I suspect sooner than anyone really expects.

Explicating the inexplicable

I’ve for the most part dropped any further mention of how the theft of the 2020 “election” was accomplished, as well as endless recounts and the like. I can’t really forego the pointless and delusional onanism common in certain quarters insisting that soon—ANY MINUTE NOW!!!—***”president”*** Brandon’s transparently fraudulent “victory” will surely be decertified, whereupon the true President will be restored to his rightful position, since I never bought into any of that starry-eyed silliness in the first place. We all know full well that Trump, along with every Real American who believes he has a God-given right to his say in how and by whom he is governed, was robbed.

The deed has been done; the palace coup which began with the original crime wet firecracker Bill Barr correctly called “one of the greatest travesties in American history” went off without a hiccup, a YUUUUGE success. There is now only one means by which that crime can possibly be addressed, by which justice can be achieved at last. We all know full well what that means is, too.

All that said, though, this thorough and unique analysis is just too damned good to let pass by without at least taking note of it.

Eleven months after the 2020 American presidential election, the official results remain so incongruous, they merit an empirical exegesis.

The political establishment’s narrative is that Biden won an unexpectedly close race, and the outcome requires no further examination. Yet, Biden’s victory is so statistically suspicious, so riddled with ahistorical outcomes, that a detailed data examination is necessary to reassure Americans the official result was, in fact, the actual result.

Official tallies record 161.3 million votes cast in 2020. Donald Trump got 75 million of those votes, 12.1 million above his 2016 total, and the most votes ever received by an incumbent president. Joe Biden received 81.2 million votes, the most votes for anyone who has sought the presidency.

Biden received 306 Electoral College (EC) votes to Trump’s 232. The individual vote totals behind that victory show an amazingly slim margin of victory for Biden. He won Arizona (11 EC votes), Georgia (16 EC votes), and Wisconsin (10 EC votes) by a combined 43,809 votes, which made the difference between victory and an Electoral College tie.

Now, let’s consider nine categories of suspicious anomalies that led to Biden’s squeaker of a victory.

I. Census Bureau Data
In 2020, the Census Bureau found 5 million fewer voters than the number of ballots counted. This is the largest gap recorded since these post-election surveys began in 1964. These 5 million excess ballots account for most of Biden’s national popular vote lead. To cite one state-level example, the Census Bureau found 4.8 million voters in Georgia, but Georgia reported 5 million counted ballots.

The Census Bureau’s validated voter survey is a very thorough and comprehensive piece of post-election data analysis. Historically, it has been far more accurate than exit polling and other post-election surveys and studies, as Robert Barnes, a leading political analyst and successful political prognosticator, explained in early May on his “What Are the Odds?” podcast.

The nationwide excess of counted ballots over registered voters in 2020 is extremely unusual. Census data usually finds a very small differential between the number of people they identify as having voted in the previous presidential election and the official total number of ballots counted in that election. In 2016, Census voting data matched almost precisely the number of ballots counted.

Historically, when Census data has differed from the official ballot count, it has tended to overestimate, rather than underestimate, the number of voters. The opposite was the case in the 2020 election.

Most revealingly, the Census data shows the turnout surge was almost exclusively among White blue-collar voters, an overwhelmingly pro-Trump cohort. Yet, somehow, the surge favored Biden in the end.

Turnout in 2020 was 6.7 percentage points higher than in 2016. The Census data on overall turnout, and turnout among specific demographic groups, closely aligns with the macro- and micro-turnout predictions made respectively by Barnes and Richard Baris, the preeminent pollster and managing director of Big Data Poll, and polling data at my firm, Democracy Institute, which forecast a Trump win.

I won’t excerpt any more of it, although the temptation to post a much bigger bite is pretty powerful. The piece is broken down into nine sections, each of which approaches its individual issue from a highly unusual and intriguing angle. It’s a long ‘un right enough, but when you reach the end of it you’ll swear it ain’t anywhere near long enough, I bet. The closer:

A synthesis of the empirical evidence, innumerable anomalies, and predictive metrics leads to an inescapable conclusion about the 2020 presidential election. Although it is statistically possible that Biden won, clearly it is statistically implausible that he actually did.

If you go through the comments section you’ll find the usual shitlib sophists and pedants straining mightily to pooh-pooh the inescapable conclusion in their usual fashion, disingenuously sidestepping the real crux of the matter: Even if one is willing to dismiss this well-reasoned article’s arguments, it still amounts to a single evidentiary nugget mined from a whole quarry’s worth of malfeasance and skullduggery.

It’s almost possible to “prove” that a given election was indeed stolen, as even NPR admitted back in 2007. But when there are causes for suspicion as numerous as this, none but an insensate fool (or a co-conspirator) could fail to perceive a rank odor of corruption wafting off the whole rotten enterprise. In lawyerly circles, what we have here is known as a preponderance of the evidence. And, as the late Rush Limbaugh always said, words mean things. To wit:

preponderance of the evidence

Overview
Preponderance of the evidence is one type of evidentiary standard used in a burden of proof analysis. Under the preponderance standard, the burden of proof is met when the party with the burden convinces the fact finder that there is a greater than 50% chance that the claim is true. This is the burden of proof in a civil trial.

In the trial we might call 2020 Election Thieves vs Real Americans, the evidence is voluminous, diverse, and entirely credible. It clearly establishes Defendant’s guilt for wilfully and knowingly perpetrating the serious crime of election fraud, if only by the sheer number of items and instances introduced into evidence by the prosecution. As such, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, your vote must be, can only be, to convict. The evidence demands it. The law demands it. Most important of all, perhaps, JUSTICE ITSELF demands it.

Sentencing to follow.

“Your Vote Won’t Count”

News FLASH from Dan Gelernter. And also, y’know, moi.

We’re coming up on another election of national importance—the Virginia governor’s race is November 2. My friends are hopefully suggesting on social media that this will be the election that turns things around, where the full anger of the common folk at being bossed around by autocratic overlords finally manifests itself and we throw the bums out.

Mind you, they were saying the same thing with the same hope about the California recall election. And I said at the time, weeks before the vote was tallied, there was no point in hoping that patriotic anger would outbalance the massive machinery at work behind the scenes: Your votes didn’t matter in the 2020 presidential election, they didn’t matter in the California recall, they won’t matter in the Virginia gubernatorial election, and they won’t matter next year.

And the national circle-jerk goes right on a-circling, the self-perpetuating wank-a-thon producing the usual tedious and unsatisfying climax at the close of another “Election” Day. After another late-night disappointment, conservative commentators awaken Wednesday morning to feign astonishment that the desperately longed for conservative “wave” petered out on them yet againUNEXPECTED!™—without ever generating enough kinetic energy to finally curl over at the top and forcefully crash onto the encrusted slime and filth we so desperately hoped might at last be washed away from these shores. Hopefully, the ever-phantasmagorical “wave” election might usher the ugly detritus far out to sea, whence the disgraceful blight would then gradually dissipate into nothingness—the whole sorry mess scrubbed from memory as thoroughly as the incoherent, puzzling nightmare you had two weeks ago, a chaotic brain-jumble brought on by the highly questionable shellfish you optimistically had for dinner before turning in.

The commentariat, rising to the challenge of duty and responsibility, blearily springs into action once more to flog analyses and explanations of how such a befuddling thing could possibly have occurred, against all odds and in contradiction of the very latest polls—or, for the more brazen pundits, peddling the shopworn claim that the latest stinging defeat was in fact a momentous triumph for Repugnican candidates who will never be either sworn into the offices they sought, or be heard from again. EVER.

Dan does a quick fly-by past the 2020 dumbshow before moving on to describe the three crooked legs of the election-fraud stool.

So what’s the situation now? Vastly worse. This huge Time-documented conspiracy only half-expected to get away with stealing the election from Donald Trump. They discovered unexpected allies in three vital places: First, the courts, including the Supreme Court, refused to hear a single case of election fraud on the merits. They dismissed all the cases for lack of evidence or standing, which was much safer than letting the plaintiffs present their evidence in court.

Second, the Department of Justice was happy to say they’d found no evidence of election fraud, without drawing attention to the fact they hadn’t been looking. They had to be dragged kicking and screaming to any investigation at all: How many of you are aware that it was the relentless pressure of private citizens in Yuma, Arizona, who provided photographic evidence that the Justice Department couldn’t ignore, which led to indictments (so far two public) for vote fraud in the 2020 election? But even as the government was forced to charge the little people who were getting paid to collect ballots and cast them illegally, they assiduously refused to investigate where that money came from. Perhaps it came from a well-funded cabal of powerful people?

But third, and most important by far, the thing that ultimately renders our elections meaningless is people like Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), Republican National Committee Chairman Ronna McDaniel and Georgia Governor Brian Kemp. They are the most important allies in the conspiracy to steal our elections, precisely because we expect them to be fighting on our side. Fraudulent elections cost Republicans seats—cost Republicans the presidency—so why wouldn’t the most powerful people in the Republican Party be fighting just as hard as they could to expose fraud and pass laws requiring in-person voting with ID?

Here’s the secret answer: These people hate you. Sure, they’re willing to pay lip service to America as a great nation, to churchgoing values, and so forth. But they’re really just Democrats with different special interests: They want to funnel all your money to military contractors instead of environmentalists. People like Donald Trump interfere with that. People like you interfere with that. Because you want the government to mind its own goddamned business. And, on that issue, Mitch McConnell is united with Senator Chuck Shumer (D-N.Y.) against you.

These people live for power. They exist for the pleasure of spending your money to retain that power. And, now that they’ve managed to separate that power from public accountability by legalizing mail-in, no-ID, drop-box, multiple-ballot, and similar voting practices, you think they’re going to give all that up?

Of course not. The power, the perks, the ill-gotten gains will all have to be taken from them. Like it or not, that can only be accomplished forcibly. Coming up next: The Flinch.

There is no solution to this problem short of a Constitutional Convention that restores our elections to their original format: Voting on election day, and in-person. Until we make that happen, there is no point in hoping the next election will be magically less fraudulent than the last one. That is precisely what the Mitch McShumer crowd wants you to do: hope. Hope is an excuse not to act. Don’t take it.

After repeated tries, this hail-Mary pass just might take the prize for Worst Play yet. Just who does Gelernter imagine will be in charge of planning, managing, and overseeing this Con-Con, anyway? Why, the very professional politicians who are most endangered by any fair, open, and honestly-conducted one, that’s who. He gets everything perfectly correct, right up until this sentence: “Until we make that happen, there is no point in hoping the next election will be magically less fraudulent than the last one.” He’d have done much better to omit the opening clause, starting instead at “there is no point” etc and continuing from there. Dan starts off nicely, earning himself a solid “A for Effort” only to close out the semester with a failing grade.

I’ve mentioned previously that, while I wouldn’t be so presumptious as to deride or condemn foljks who doesn’t feel the same as I do about it, I absolutely, positively WILL NOT waste my time voting in American “elections” from here on out, no matter who the candidate might be. In my opinion, it’s far more productive to refuse my endorsement and consent via participating in a process I know from the git-go is nothing but theater, a complete fraud. I see no possibility of anything useful or positive resulting from it, with plenty of negatives in the pan of the scale—beginning with my tacit acceptance of the insult to my intelligence that willing complicity in my own disenfranchisement amounts to. Anybody out there who DOES perceive any constructive aspects of continuing to act as if the “election” grift retains a single scrap of credibility is welcome to have at it, and more power to ya. Perhaps you’re right about which is the better approach. Could be I’m full of shit; I have been before, just once or twice. But whether I am or I ain’t, I am fully and firmly OUT.

Don’t hate me ’cause I’m beautiful, as Little Richard used to say.

Bottom line: a deeply corrupt system can never be reformed by resort to the rules, procedures, and bureaucratic entities created and controlled by that very same corrupt system. It’s such a simple, transparently obvious waste of time as to beggar belief that otherwise intelligent people could be oblivious to it. What’s under discussion here is the restoration of order, decency, and rationality using the pointless and wrongheaded expedient of making civil, adult appeals to the malefactors inflicting disorder and insanity a-purpose, using those things and more besides as the weapons to utterly destroy the advocates of civility and rationality they so viscerally loathe.

We’re well past the point where moderate means can be of any use whatsoever. Only radical measures can avail us now. Too many of those able to clearly identify the problem and even recognize the iron-hard seriousness of our plight are nonetheless not yet ready or able to make the final, terrifying leap into full acknowledgment of the one non-negotiable imperative: That Team Liberty MUST prevail, no matter how terrible the measures required to gain ultimate victory over the soulless abominations presently waging all-out war against us.

Update! The view from Oz looks very, very familiar, don’t it?

There was no violent revolution. No overthrow of the government. No military coup. But the results have been as dramatic as the changes that occurred in the past when the communists or the fascists took power.

Prime ministers have come and gone. Elections have been held. Such events no longer seem to have any significance. You cannot point to any of those prime ministers and say, “it was all his fault.” Under each new prime minister both countries have lurched further in the direction of totalitarianism. Whether Labour or the Tories have been in power, or in the case of Australia Labor or the LNP, has made no difference whatsoever. The process of creeping totalitarianism has continued, slowly but inexorably. It’s clear that elections no longer matter at all.

It’s clear that whoever is in charge it’s not our politicians and it’s not our elected governments. You really don’t need to be a crazed conspiracy theorist to have noticed that.

Liberalism has been abolished. The individual has never been less important, and has never had fewer rights. What matters is the state and the corporation. The individual exists to serve the state and the corporation.

If we stubbornly insist on disagreeing with either the state or with the private corporations who rule society in conjunction with the state, our opinions are ignored. If we continue to be stubborn we are silenced. Dissent is not permitted. Individuals do not have the right to act for themselves, speak for themselves or think for themselves. If you try it on the internet you’ll be banned from social media, or (more likely) you will simply be shadow-banned. You’ll be silenced and you won’t even know it’s happened. In Britain you’ll probably be arrested.

And you don’t have to break any actual laws, because social order is now maintained by the state and by corporations to whom the law and legal rights are irrelevant. If you dissent in any way, even in a way that is technically quite legal, you will be silenced.

Liberalism didn’t fail. It was overthrown by a new ideology which for want of a better term we can call neo-fascism. Nothing matters but the state and the corporation. The individual is irrelevant. Individualism is now an anti-social act that will get you into deep trouble. We learn to obey the state and to obey its corporate partners.

1984 is already here but we pretend it isn’t that bad because the reality is too painful to face.

The irony is, the harder we resist facing reality, the more viciously reality will rub our noses in it.

Meet the new boss

Be still my beating heart.

Democrats Melting Down: GOP Flips Long-Held Blue Seat in Iowa Special Election
Happy Wednesday. How are things going for Democrats today? Let’s review a handful of headlines. (1) Out of Iowa, a legislative seat that has been in Democratic hands for decades is no longer blue. Over the summer, Republicans won back a state senate seat in affluent, suburban, Trump-hostile Connecticut. Last night, they picked off a different sort of district. Trump carried it, but it had remained blue at the state legislative level, even in recent cycles with Trump on the ballot. Change.

Thank merciful Heaven, we’re all saved!! Yep, things are gonna be a lot different in Mordor on the Potomac from now on, just you wait and see.

Big, meddlesome government: is there ANYTHING it can’t fuck up?

The root of all evils.

On the surface, the supply chain crisis that’s left ships off both U.S. coasts facing a month of waiting before they’re unloaded is caused by bottlenecks following a post-COVID retail flush, rising shipping costs, and a lack of truckers available to unload containers waiting offshore (Redstate covered that angle here). That’s what labor unions told the Daily Mail, anyway, no doubt with the intent to remind everyone of their importance.

But scratch the surface, and supply chain problems are revealed to be much more complicated, driven by bureaucratic intrusion, and effectively look like a mini-war between shippers and carriers, one that the Biden administration and the Democrat-led House of Representatives aren’t interested in working on until at least November, making the problems we’re seeing today extend into the Christmas season.

Oh, those problems are going to be extending a whole lot longer than that, I’m afraid. As I said from the very start of the Covid clusterfuck: you can’t just shut an entire national economy down, as if the action was no more complex or potentially destructive than flipping a light switch off—for fifteen days to flatten the curve a year and a half to consolidate a tyranny and train a Sheeple—then nonchalantly flip the switch back to the “On” position, emboldened by a level of confidence only the truly witless ever get to experience, that things will just pick up and carry on as before with no lasting disruption and/or damage. Their monstrously inflated egos and delusions of omnipotence notwithstanding, the idiot ProPols badly overestimated their own smarts, competence, and capabilities—exactly as they always have—and now every damned man Jack of us is going to have to pay a severe price for allowing them to do it—exactly as we always have.

Part of the problem lies with the Biden administration’s “Executive Order on America’s Supply Chains,” issued on Feb. 24, 2021, which set up a “‘sectoral supply chain assessment‘ of six industrial sectors, including transportation. It requires the secretary of transportation, consulting with the heads of the department’s modal agencies, to submit a report to the president within one year of the executive order that assesses ‘the role of transportation systems in supporting existing supply chains and risks associated with those transportation systems.’”

See what I mean? My God, the EGOS on these little tin gods, daring to imagine that diddling around in affairs that are much too big for pygmies like themselves could ever lead to anything other than disaster, widespread human misery, and societal chaos. Any genuinely intelligent, sane person would have known better. Clearly, the professional politicians…don’t. Does that suggest anything about the advisability of restricting government at all levels to no more than the merest minimum of authority and power? Why, it seems so NO DUH! obvious, so self-evident and beyond argument, that I’m shocked that nobody ever thought of such a thing before now, nor attempted to codify, explicitly and in writing, how a government strictly and sturdily fenced by such restrictions might possibly be established. A real head-scratcher, that one is. Oh well, maybe someday.

While over 150 companies and trade associations have written a letter to encourage Congress to work on the bill, there’s some concern within the industry that the legislation would only create tension between shippers and regulators and carriers.

OH yeah, by all means let’s get Congress involved too! Having them waddle their fat asses on up and thrust their snouts into the slop trough will SURELY straighten this whole mess out with a quickness. Won’t it?

In short, government involving itself and imposing new regulations while also refusing to update existing regulations have played a familiar role in the slow down of a market that is trying to bounce back after COVID stopped the machine.

Update existing regulations, my baggy white ass. The one and only treatment for what ails us that stands a ghost of a chance of curing the affliction is to take a broadaxe and start chopping as many as can be reached into little, tiny pieces.

Apropos of not a whole lot, the Red State companion-piece mentioned in the first excerpted ‘graph is worth a read in its own right.

Cargo ships anchored off California and New York, and in rail yards and on trucking routes, shipping consumer goods are incredibly backlogged due to a lack of manpower and pandemic restrictions to unload the goods. And now, there are warnings that the supply chain may be on the brink of collapse.

Shipping ports which normally only had one or two ships in dock waiting to be unloaded prior to the pandemic now have dozens lined up, waiting to be unloaded for up to four weeks, slowing the whole chain. In Los Angeles and Long Beach, as many as 73 vessels were waiting to be unloaded last month. The bottlenecks at the ports are also impacting railways and trucking. In Chicago — that has one of the largest rail yards — it was at one point backed up for 25 miles.

This is a disaster about to blow up.

If you were trying to do-in the country, I’m not sure what you would do that the Biden team hasn’t been doing.

Hey, if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck…

It makes for some pretty grim reading, all the moreso since there really is no way the Great Chaos Engine our damned fool politicians cranked up and set in motion can be stopped at this late stage. All any of us can do now is brace for the impact of the imminent crash. Hopefully, the survivors can come up with some way to repay them for all the wonderful things they’ve done for us.

By the numbers

Aesop contends that that’s how the Perfumed Princes are fucking up in their campaign to crush LTC Scheller for the heinous crime of speaking the ugly truth about them right out in front of God and everybody.

We read where some folks commenting are all doom-and-gloom worried about the future prospects of Lt. Col. Scheller, USMC.

Bitch, please.

As if.

The way you “protect” someone like this, with balls the size of church bells, is hand him a bayonet, and then get out of his way.

If they were smart, they’d simply drop all charges, separate him from service post-haste, and grant him a full pension, and hope he just goes off and plays golf. But they’re not that smart.

I hope he’s right about all that, I truly do, and in a just world he surely would be. Unfortunately, this is most definitely NOT such a world, nor anything even close. Which means that it’s no better than even-money odds that they’ll just quietly Epstein him, and hope nobody notices.

And that, my friends, will open a whole ‘nother can of worms, one they’re gonna enjoy even less than the one they have now. Read it all to find out how well THAT might work out for ’em.

Harbinger of doom update! Well, this tears it. The poor guy is well and truly cornholed now.

A growing number of conservative lawmakers on Capitol Hill are rallying to the cause of a Marine lieutenant colonel jailed this week for his outspoken and repeated criticism of his superiors and what he said was their failure to take responsibility for mishandling the chaotic final days of the U.S. war in Afghanistan.

Yep, he’s definitely hosed. Any time “conservative lawmakers” declare themselves to be in your corner the fight is officially over, and you lost.

So long, SEALs

And thanks for all the, uhh, fish.

Hundreds of U.S. Navy SEALs are on the verge of being undeployable because they are refusing a Pentagon order to take a COVID-19 vaccine, according to a lawyer representing some of them.

R. Davis Younts, a lieutenant colonel in the Air Force reserve who is a military lawyer and is representing several of the special operators as a private attorney, indicated that the number of SEALs involved represents about one-quarter of the nearly 2,500 members of the elite fighting force.

The loss of so many of the special operators, who are on the verge of being placed in a non-deployable status, would severely cripple military readiness because special forces troops in all branches “play an outsized role in modern military operations,” Just the News reported.

Some of the SEALs were told they had until this week to get the COVID jab, leading them to claim a religious exemption since they were out of time to try and find another workaround, Younts said.

“My clients include several Navy SEALs who are a small part of a large group of SEALs and other military members who are being asked to choose between their faith and their ability to serve our nation,” he told Carlson. “They have been told that if they seek a religious accommodation, they likely will no longer be able to serve our country as Navy SEALs and been given an arbitrary deadline to comply with the vaccine mandate.

Well hey, it’s not as if a third-rate power like Amerika v2.0 is ever gonna need ’em for anything again anyhow.

The attorney said that the Defense Department has put its ultimatum in writing that SEALs who are not vaccinated, including any who received a religious exemption or have natural immunity from having contracted the virus already, will not be able to deploy with their assigned teams, which will essentially end their careers as special operators.

Tim Parlatore, an attorney who helped secure the acquittal of Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher after he was charged with the murder of an ISIS prisoner, told the outlet he has confirmed that large numbers of SEALS are refusing the vaccine at this time.

“It’s in the hundreds. And it’s not the senior leadership. It’s all the shooters and it is going to have a huge impact,” Parlatore said. “If they continue with this asinine policy you are going to have the complete decimation of the SEAL teams,” he said.

Oh, there’s gonna be a “complete decimation” of a whole hell of a lot more than just that, bub. Compared to what’s just down the road for us all, the woes of a few hundred cornholed SEAL operators are gonna come to seem like some very small beer indeed. But does the Biden junta have yet another, harder slap in the face in store for America’s taken-for-granted Warrior Class, you ask? Three guesses, sez I.

The White House said it “strongly opposes” a provision in the 2022 defense spending bill that would block the Pentagon from dishonorably discharging a service member who refuses to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

A section in the House version of the National Defense Authorization Act would limit military commanders’ options for disciplining those who fail to comply with the vaccination mandate, the White House Office of Management and Budget said in a statement of administration policy Wednesday.

The Pentagon has described the vaccine mandate as a “lawful order” that must be obeyed.

“To enable a uniformed force to fight with discipline, commanders must have the ability to give orders and take appropriate disciplinary measures,” the White House said in a statement.

A DD, of course, deals a crippling, life-wrecking blow to the man hit with one. To wit:

A fucking D.D.?  Oh man, now that is a line that they don’t seem to understand what that means. A D.D. means like zero post-military bennies, in fact it’s like getting a felony on the record. In fact it’s worse than a felony. They fucking lose all veterans’ benefits, and are forbidden from owning a firearm, working for the government and taking out bank loans. Often, they also lose the right to vote and accept federal assistance as a civilian.

Perhaps worse still—as if all that wasn’t bad enough—having a DD on your record makes it damned near impossible to get a decent job—ever again, for the rest of your life. It’s an even blacker mark than being an ex-con is when it comes to that sort of thing. More from CBD:

Bowie Bergdahl received a dishonorable discharge for desertion and misbehavior before the enemy.

Typical reasons for dishonorable discharges include murder, rape, treason, etc. These are not trivial crimes, and dishonorable discharges are usually given only after a general court martial. And the consequences don’t stop after separation from the military, since it typically prevents the use of any military benefits, and is considered a felony in civilian life…that means no 2nd Amendment rights! Oh…good luck getting a job!

How very typical of the Biden junta. Strong-arm its opponents, use judicial contortions to punish them for daring to disagree with its edicts, and try to destroy their lives with the power of the federal government.

So servicemen who have done their duty, have served honorably in all other respects, but have a philosophical or religious objection to being forced to accept the CCP flu vaccination will be treated the same way as murderers and rapists and deserters?

Biden and the whores who pull his strings are without honor, have no concept of what honor is, cannot comprehend honorable actions, and simply assume that all Americans who act contrary to the junta’s desires are enemies of the state and should be crushed under the weight of its authority.

That’s the thing, though: we’re ALL “enemies of the State” now—the State as it currently exists, the illegitimate one that insidiously supplanted America That Was in the dead of night, by every manner of sneakthievery and skullduggery. I consider it to be a badge of honor myself, and so should the SEALs and all other soon-to-be-separated military personnel, SOF or otherwise. And with that in mind, there IS a potential silver lining here.

This has to be the stupidest fucking plan EVER implemented by ANY and ALL DotGov and DotMil in history. I mean Holy. Fucking. Shit. Not only are they going to purely gut the Special Operations Community, but then after busting their asses loyally, doing the dirtiest of deed for them, to not only cashier them all, but also essentially fuck them in the ass (with ground glass and sand, sans lube) on the way out the door in the form of “criminalizing them”.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeah. That’ll work. I’m sure that they’ll take that news with a calm, measured response. Well, actually, the few SEALs I’ve interacted with? On a good day they tend to be the sleepy-eyed bored looking dude at the back of the room, who’s usually calculating how much effort it’ll take to kill every one in the aforementioned room. So, yeah, it’ll be calm and measured. But NOT in the way I think these idiots think it’ll happen. Just short of locking the SEALs up, we’re talking for real no-shit trained unmerciful killers.

And by literally criminalizing “freedom of choice” and “my body, my choice” in DIRECT violation of the Nurnberg codes, whelp, In my fictional world, three SEAL Teams in concert could wreak absolute havoc in an incredibly short period of time. Hell, a Direct Assault of the Capitol by one Team, killing as they go, and the Senate and congress hit simultaneously by another Team? Or even a simple “decapitation strike” on the White House? I mean these guys? The “regular fuzz” to include even the Secret Service are not prepared to do anything other than to become “good Feds” i.e. dead as doornails IF the SEALs decide to turn them into “good Feds”. Literally there ain’t no “quit” in them. I could realistically see it.

If anything, IF the SEALs went “full retard” I could literally visualize the cops, standing on the stairs of the Capitol Building listening to the gunshots, screams, grunts, explosions, and not doing a fucking thing. Like standing there, waiting. Watching torrents of blood run in rivers down the marble stairs and saying to each other “I ain’t paid near the fuck enough to go in there for anything.” and waiting for the noise to die down. Then, as the noise tapers and stops, a platoon sized element of blood soaked warriors walk out the door, covered in gore, gobbets of flesh, weapons shouldered and smoking, and look at the cops and the leader says something: “Don’t make us come back…” and walks off, unmolested.

Know what’s keeping me awake nights of late? Wondering whether all this fuck-uppery should be thought of as a real-life demonstration of “they know not what they do” in action—just the core, marrow-deep stupidity endemic throughout Mordor on the Potomac in full effect—or not. The hotter the dumpster fire burns, the more it all—ALL of it, I mean, from the Biden Bugout to the border boobery to the fifty-megaton backfire of (Not)Vaxx fascism, the whole damned goatfuck ENTIRE—begins to look to me as if it simply COULDN’T be happenstance, bad luck, or mere incompetence.

No, this HAS to be some sort of a plan, an op they’re running on us. Doesn’t it? I suppose it might barely be possible that these Deep State/Biden junta klowns are indeed this mind-blowingly, hamfistedly D-M-U-B, yes. BARELY. But really now, how LIKELY can that be? Because if they ARE that stupid, they’d have to be unable to tie their own shoes, feed themselves, or come in out of the rain—much less scheme, claw, and back-stab their way up to the highest-level positions in the most powerful, amoral, and blackhearted tyranny the world has ever known.

But if it IS some kind of plan or op, then what on earth do our would-be Masters intend to achieve by it? What is the desired outcome of all this, how do they define success? Is instigating flailing, mindless, widespread and ongoing chaos the whole point?

Whatever the behind-the-scenes truth of the matter may be—whether this is an ingenious plan worthy of The Insidious Dr Fu Manchu himself, or the kind of clumsy anarchy only a rubber-room-wardful of board-certified, one hundred and ninety proof retards could possibly contrive—things are obviously NOT going well for them. For one thing, it’s apparent they’ve been caught on the weak foot by the sudden almighty blast of real resistance to them, which is only going to grow and worsen from here. By tightening their grip on our throats, they create the very conditions that will bring them down. It’s one of history’s most fulsome ironies: that the bane of all tyrants, sooner or later, is tyranny itself.

And that brings us right ’round to the funniest bit of all, the shiniest of silver linings: Behold ye the clown of clowns, in the timeless routine these people bring to my mind first, last, and always.

Yes, I’m laughing at you assholes, you two-bit schoolyard bullies, you clueless fucking imbeciles. Your petty edicts will neither touch me, nor break me, nor induce me to submit. I DEFY YOU, I SCORN YOU, I DESPISE YOU. Today, tomorrow, and forever. Let Melville’s indomitable Captain Ahab say it for me:

Towards thee I roll, thou all-destroying but unconquering whale; to the last I grapple with thee; from hell’s heart I stab at thee; for hate’s sake I spit my last breath at thee.

Aid and comfort to the enemy

The very definition of treason—even before you throw in assisting the junta he works for in fecklessly providing the Taliban with all the equipment it needed to become, in a single turnkey, one-stop-shopping jump, the 26th most powerful military force in the world.

Having taken twenty years to lose the last war, the Pentagon has decided to fast-track things and pre-lose the next war:

Twice in the final months of the Trump administration, the country’s top military officer was so fearful that the president’s actions might spark a war with China that he moved urgently to avert armed conflict.

In a pair of secret phone calls, Gen. Mark A. Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, assured his Chinese counterpart, Gen. Li Zuocheng of the People’s Liberation Army, that the United States would not strike, according to a new book by Washington Post associate editor Bob Woodward and national political reporter Robert Costa…

“General Li, I want to assure you that the American government is stable and everything is going to be okay,” Milley told him. “We are not going to attack or conduct any kinetic operations against you.”

In the book’s account, Milley went so far as to pledge he would alert his counterpart in the event of a U.S. attack, stressing the rapport they’d established through a backchannel. “General Li, you and I have known each other for now five years. If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time. It’s not going to be a surprise.

So America’s “top general” secretly pledged to the ChiComs that he’d give ’em a head’s up if his soi-disant commander-in-chief was planning anything…

There are phrases to describe countries where the military isn’t under the control of elected officials, and “republic of self-governing citizens” isn’t one of them.

As I’ve said multiple times in recent weeks, key American institutions from the CDC to the NBA act as if the Chinese have already won. The Pentagon has apparently joined them. You don’t need to penetrate Thoroughly Modern Milley: He’s his own Fang Fang.

Given that the interest on America’s debt has largely funded the expansion of the ChiComs’ military (including what’s now the world’s largest surface fleet), Milley’s offer to further hobble his own side seems a little superfluous: the Pentagon are the Washington Generals and Beijing are the Wuhan Globetrotters.

As if all of the above wasn’t plenty enough to justify stretching this filthy traitor’s neck for him until he is dead, dead, dead—and, according to the specifications laid out in plain, eminently comprehensible English by the Treason Clause of the US Constitution (1789-2020, now deceased), it most certainly fucking well IS—there’s also the small matter of the coup cabal he was/is such an important part of.

Washington (CNN)Two days after the January 6 attack on the US Capitol, President Donald Trump’s top military adviser, Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Mark Milley, single-handedly took secret action to limit Trump from potentially ordering a dangerous military strike or launching nuclear weapons, according to “Peril,” a new book by legendary journalist Bob Woodward and veteran Washington Post reporter Robert Costa.

Woodward and Costa write that Milley, deeply shaken by the assault, ‘was certain that Trump had gone into a serious mental decline in the aftermath of the election, with Trump now all but manic, screaming at officials and constructing his own alternate reality about endless election conspiracies.’

Milley worried that Trump could ‘go rogue,’ the authors write.

Oh, somebody definitely went rogue, all right. But it wasn’t Trump. Who happened to be, y’know, THE FUCKING DULY ELECTED COMMANDER IN CHIEF at the time. Which happened to make him, y’know, Perfumed Princess Millie’s superior officer. Which, y’know, used to mean something in regards to how US military personnel—yes, even its flag officers—are expected to respond to direct orders from the CinC, but apparently no longer does.

“You never know what a president’s trigger point is,” Milley told his senior staff, according to the book.

In response, Milley took extraordinary action, and called a secret meeting in his Pentagon office on January 8 to review the process for military action, including launching nuclear weapons. Speaking to senior military officials in charge of the National Military Command Center, the Pentagon’s war room, Milley instructed them not to take orders from anyone unless he was involved.

“No matter what you are told, you do the procedure. You do the process. And I’m part of that procedure,” Milley told the officers, according to the book. He then went around the room, looked each officer in the eye, and asked them to verbally confirm they understood.

“Got it?” Milley asked, according to the book.

“Yes, sir.”

The authors write, ‘Milley was overseeing the mobilization of America’s national security state without the knowledge of the American people or the rest of the world.’

Woodward and Costa also write that ‘some might contend that Milley had overstepped his authority and taken extraordinary power for himself,’ but he believed his actions were ‘a good faith precaution to ensure there was no historic rupture in the international order, no accidental war with China or others, and no use of nuclear weapons.’

Which is, y’know, in no way Millie’s judgment to render, nor his decision to make. Which is, y’know, the very textbook definition of “overstepping his authority.” Also insubordination, treason, mutiny, dereliction of duty, conducting unbecoming, &c—taken as a whole, as flagrant a violation of the UCMJ as can be imagined.

On further consideration, I wish to withdraw my earlier recommendation; hanging is much too good for a miserable cur like Thoroughly Modern Milley. Instead, he should be dragged behind a rusty old pickup truck, at moderate to high speed, to and fro across the entire breadth of the Great Republic of Texas, until there ain’t enough meat left on his scraggly bones to flare the nostrils of a starving boar-hog.

But let’s not anybody think for a moment that Milley is alone in his self-dealing; his grubby, careerist rumpswabbery; the utter lack of any detectable scrap of moral fiber or probity; his shockingly twisted priorities; his inordinately, umm, supple standards and ethics, infinitely adjustable according to the situation; the conspicuous absence of a sense of honor or shame. Sad to say, Millie has plenty of company in the thoroughly-tainted US military when it comes to those repellent traits.

In 2015 a report from the Strategic Studies Institute and US Army War College detailed the corrosion of ethics in the Army.
The report can still be found mentioned in various news articles and reviews that were published around the time of its release. Unsurprisingly the links from those articles to the report go nowhere. It’s been, conveniently, taken offline. But archive copies are still available for those with the stomach to read them.

The message is clear. And while it’s focused on the Army, we know from other documents (such as the Congressional Report on the Fighting Culture of the United States Navy Surface Fleet) that the rot extends beyond the Army. Observation of recent events (from shenanigans like the Air Force Academy Wikan Chapel and fabricated hate crime, Capt. Crozier forced to circumvent the chain of command and then being portrayed as an unbalanced renegade as he tried to care for his sailors, and the cynical handling – including referral for mental health analysis – of Lt. Col. Stu Scheller by the USMC) show that it’s widespread.

The premise is simple.

The “zero-defect” mentality of military promotion intersects with social experiments (with the concomitant “training” burdens) in a truly toxic manner. It is simultaneously unacceptable to have any missed requirements (such as every soldier completing every sexual harassment, anti-extremism, etc. training module.) At the same time, it’s mathematically impossible to complete all of the “woke” training and fundamental, basic military training.

So we have Navy officers who can’t drive ships and navigate, and Army officers who fudge training records as they try to balance tactical and skills training with social science requirements.

Every officer sees it and knows it. They know that their colleagues lie just as they do. And they must, if they hope to be promoted. The pressure increases as officers and NCOs pass some threshold – perhaps 7 or 8 years – on their way to a career and promised retirement benefits. The risk of making the required sacrifices without receiving the benefits is huge.

But….then they stand in front of the mirror and proclaim to their square-jawed, uber badged and ribboned selves, that they represent the pinnacle of ethical probity. Then, having recited that mantra, they go forth and state it publicly to their superiors (in rank), peers and subordinates (in rank.) And finally, with lots of chest-thumping, to an admiring public.

It’s a myth.

And it’s created a culture of endemic lying.

Anybody not already clued in as to why Amerika v2.0 will assuredly get itself a most thorough reaming in any future military conflict—any conflict more demanding than can be fought entirely by empimpled, Cheetoh-noshing fatbodies virtually piloting drones in air-conditioned comfort, from trailers somewhere in a remote Arizona or New Mexico desert, that is—that it might have the titanium-testicled temerity to foolishly involve itself in, is hereby advised to read and re-read all of the above, until it finally sinks in.

Jabs for thee, but not for me

Anybody surprised?

Congress exempt from Biden’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate
President Biden’s executive order mandating COVID-19 vaccines among all federal workers does not apply to members of Congress, the federal court system or their staffers.

Biden’s order Thursday mandating COVID-19 vaccinations among federal workers and contractors drops the option of regular testing and allows only some religious and disability exemptions. The order applies only to employees of the executive branch and does not apply to the legislative or judicial branches of government, the White House confirmed to Fox News.

Just one more datapoint confirming that these self-serving, insufferable cake-eaters don’t fear We The People anywhere NEAR enough, and badly need to be apprised of their error posthaste. Explicitly, vividly, and in a way that will have them jolting awake screaming in sweaty, gibbering terror every night for the rest of their worthless lives.

“The Years We Wasted”

It should come as no surprise to anybody that Steyn would have something well worth reading to say today.

For most of the last two decades we have observed the anniversary of 9/11 by re-posting my columns from the first few days of the new era. We ceased to do so after September 11th 2017 when “a president who, on the campaign trail, mocked his predecessor’s inability to use the words ‘radical Islam’ himself eschewed all mention of the I-word” – and a defense secretary laughably hyped as Mad Dog Mattis turned out to be just another dribbler from the Washington Generals and retreated to the madrassah wing of the Pentagon to explain that it was all just a theological misunderstanding.

We shall not resume our anniversary observances today. The war is lost, at home and abroad. On the domestic front, we doubled the rate of Muslim immigration to the west and began assimilating ourselves with Islam’s strictures on freedom of expression and the like. The decade-and-a-half since the Danish Mohammed cartoons has been one long remorseless surrender on core western liberties. When a school teacher gets beheaded in the street, there is no outrage at the act, just a mild regret that he should have been foolish enough to provoke his own fate. Even the milder jests from the immediate post-9/11 era – the cartoon of the woman trying on new burqas in the changing room and wondering, “Does my bomb look big in this?” – would not be published today:

In the broader society, our rulers quickly determined that it was easier to punish us than our enemies. The post-9/11 security state surely helped soften up western populations for the Chi-Com-19 lockdowns, in which entire nations have been reduced to TSA-administered airports.

As for the war overseas, it ended with a military that can do everything except win handing the keys to Afghanistan back to the guys who pulled off 9/11 – and apologizing for the two-decade inconvenience by gifting the mullahs with some of the most expensive infrastructure on the planet plus an air force, approximately five assault rifles for every Taliban fighter, and express check-in for the forty-seven per cent of the Afghan population that apparently served as US translators.

The position of the United States is far weaker than it was twenty years ago. Around the planet, the assumption of friends and enemies alike is that the American moment is over and the future belongs elsewhere. They are making their dispositions accordingly. It is not a question of wishing “the post-American world”, but of accepting the known facts.

There are honorable ways to lose a war. This was not one of them. We have dishonored the dead of 9/11 and insulted their sacrifice.

Indeed we have. Rather than avenge our losses, we inexplicably chose instead to disgrace ourselves and mortally endanger our posterity. Horrible as that is, though, it gets even worse.

Unbelievable is the mot juste all right. Seriously, the clueless chutzpah of this vile shitweasel. I’m deeply ashamed to think I was actually blind and stupid enough to support and defend this asshole after 9/11. Although in semi-defense of that serious lapse of judgment on my part, I must also say that I couldn’t stand the smirking twerp before that.

In various comments sections I’ve perused, I’ve seen lame attempts to wave off this all-thumbs indecency by claiming that Bush wasn’t slandering Trump supporters and/or Patriots, in actuality talking about AntiFa/BLM/whothefuckever with a “domestic extremist” slam cribbed straight from the Ruling Class Cliff’s Notes. So sorry, sports fans, but…bullshit. Patent, arrant, see-through bullshit. For one thing, so far as I know Bush has heretofore uttered not a single peep in condemnation of those creeps. But he’s roundly denounced Trump and his supporters again and again and again, starting when his hapless schlub of a brother ¡Pleaseclap! got himself hit by the rapidly-accelerating Trump Train, crippling ¡Pleaseclap!‘s doomed-anyway run for Preznit on impact.

This intolerable calumny, mind, after maintaining a firmly buttoned lip about the godawful Obama throughout his two ruinous terms, ostensibly in the name of courtesy, tradition, and respect for the office, even when directly asked for his opinion. Tellingly, no such courtesy was extended to Trump; the tradition of post-presidential omerta Bush so resolutely upheld for his successor he quite eagerly traduced with Trump.

This intolerable calumny, mind, not only on the 9/11 anniversary, but on the very heels of the Biden Bugout.

This intolerable calumny, mind, after an initally successful drive into Ashcanistan predicated on the removal of Osama bin Laden’s Taliban enablers from power had wantonly been steered off the road and right into the nation-building ditch, leading to an agonizing slo-mo crash ‘n’ burn in which all faith in American foreign policy imperatives, reliability, and trustworthiness was completely immolated…ALL AT THE SPECIFIC BEHEST OF ONE GEORGE DUBYA MOTHERFUCKING RETARD BUSH.

But nononoNOOOO. The whole problem really comes down to folks wearing MAGA hats, see.

The NERVE of this prick. The sheer, unmitigated, illimitable, incomprehensible GALL. Straight to Hell with him, I say. He, his entire family, and the horses they all rode in on can die in a fucking fire for all me.

Insidious update! Moar Unbelievable yet: Bush hits a new low, then Biden digs deeper.

Joe Biden Delivers Astonishingly Insensitive and Insulting Remarks at 9/11 Memorial
When it was announced that Joe Biden would not give a speech on 9/11, many were shocked and dismayed that the President of the United States apparently felt it unnecessary to commemorate the 20th anniversary of one of America’s greatest tragedies. Instead, former President George W. Bush spoke, as various current and former government officials gathered at the Flight 93 memorial.

Of course, it’s not hard to imagine why he didn’t speak in person. The president has shown little ability to control his emotions lately, likely due to his sharp mental decline, and that’s led to several recent speeches in which he came across as angry and incoherent. That wouldn’t have been a good scene on 9/11.

Yet, Biden did end up giving some unscripted remarks. Perhaps without the permission of his handlers, the president fielded questions from the press. What followed was an absolutely insensitive and insulting tirade that was incredibly inappropriate for the moment, complete with multiple uses of the phrase “c’mon.”

On a day when others are commemorating the loss of nearly 3,000 American lives on 9/11, Biden is still preoccupied with defending his disastrous, deadly withdrawal from Afghanistan. At one point, he claims Al Qaeda was “wiped out” in Afghanistan, something that’s completely untrue. He then leans forward and says, “Can Al Qaeda come back, well yeah, but guess what?” before sarcastically saying “it’s already back in other places, what’s the strategy, every place where Al Qaeda is, we are gonna invade and have troops there…c’mon.”

I can’t think of a worse time to make the argument he’s making than at a memorial for victims of 9/11 who were murdered by Al Qaeda. Even if Biden believes what he’s saying, just wait until tomorrow to say it. This was just not the time. Combine that with his tone and tenor, defensive and angry at times, and what transpired was very jarring.

Everything about Biden’s brief interaction here was odd and out of place. It underscores exactly why he rarely takes questions, and when he does, he’s usually armed with a script and a list of reporters to call on. Still, you would hope he’d have enough decency to recognize what today means and to temper himself. Apparently, even that is too much to ask of this presiden

Hoping for decency from ProPol slime, most especially Biden, is nothing but a mug’s game. But hold on; although we’ve made great progress on this wretched journey, we haven’t reached Peak Unbelievable quite yet.

Dear Leader Biden Yanks Down Face Mask to Yell at Someone During Somber 9/11 Ceremony

And that makes it official. Peak Unbelievable: REACHED.

Most Americans, even Democrats, are finally starting to realize our installed dictator is clueless. It turns out he’s classless as well.

Getty Images captured the moment when the occupant of the Oval Office took down his super-important-totally-effective-non-symbol-of-obedience, also known as a face mask, to scream at someone during the 9/11 ceremony today. It was Joe Biden and all of our country’s problems wrapped into a single moment. Even Bill Clinton seemed to appreciate the somber moment.

With all the bellyaching Democrats did during the Trump administration, one would think they’d be in fetal position by now watching Biden’s daily embarrassments.

Why on earth would you think that? Hell, they’re all in agreement with the drooling rutabaga; he “thinks” exactly like they do, and they’re proud of him.

In any race to the bottom of the barrel, you’ll never go wrong by betting on Senile Angry Joe to win. But hey, let’s not be too hasty in letting Ruling Class George, Asshole Extraordinaire, completely off the hook here, either.

Speaking at a 9/11 commemoration at the Flight 93 National Memorial in Pennsylvania, former President George W. Bush, who above all people should know better, made a veiled but unmistakable equation of the January 6 incident at the Capitol with the September 11, 2001, jihad terror attacks in New York and Washington.

“The security measures incorporated into our lives are both sources of comfort” – speak for yourself, George – “and reminders of our vulnerability.” That vulnerability was apparently laid bare anew during the January 6 events that the Left has worked so very hard to portray as an unprecedented, life-threatening attack on our “democracy” (it’s actually a republic, folks) as if they cared about that, and our way of life.

Bush continues: “We have seen growing evidence that the dangers to our country can come not only across borders, but from violence that gathers within. There is little cultural overlap between violent extremists abroad and violent extremists at home, but then there’s disdain for pluralism, in their disregard for human life, in their determination to defile national symbols, they are children of the same foul spirit, and it is our continuing duty to confront them.”

If Bush had been talking about Antifa and Black Lives Matter, he would have been right. But he wasn’t. Bush was, in fact, one of the first to jump on the January 6 “insurrection” bandwagon, issuing this statement on the same day:

Laura and I are watching the scenes of mayhem unfolding at the seat of our Nation’s government in disbelief and dismay. It is a sickening and heartbreaking sight. This is how election results are disputed in a banana republic – not our democratic republic. I am appalled by the reckless behavior of some political leaders since the election and by the lack of respect shown today for our institutions, our traditions, and our law enforcement. The violent assault on the Capitol – and disruption of a Constitutionally-mandated meeting of Congress – was undertaken by people whose passions have been inflamed by falsehoods and false hopes. Insurrection could do grave damage to our Nation and reputation. In the United States of America, it is the fundamental responsibility of every patriotic citizen to support the rule of law. To those who are disappointed in the results of the election: Our country is more important than the politics of the moment. Let the officials elected by the people fulfill their duties and represent our voices in peace and safety. May God continue to bless the United States of America.

His equating of the 9/11 jihadis with the people who entered the Capitol on January 6 (“their determination to defile national symbols”) is nothing short of monstrous. The jihadis, though he immediately denied it, were exponents of a 1,400-year-long war against the non-Muslim world, with a clearly defined ideology and belief system calling for warfare against and subjugation of non-Muslim states. The January 6 “insurrectionists” were unarmed, killed no one, were not there in service of any ideology, but only to protest against election fraud, and were not part of any coordinated plan (or else you would already have seen some people charged with insurrection and treason; no one has been).

That Bush, a cosseted member of the establishment since birth, would repeat these lies is insidious, and indicates that the elites haven’t given up their agenda of silencing and criminalizing all opposition to their agenda by claiming it leads to “insurrection.” And he is not alone, of course. “As I stand here tonight,” Old Joe Biden said in early May, “just one day shy of the 100th day of my administration. 100 days since I took the oath of office, lifted my hand off our family Bible, and inherited a nation in crisis. The worst pandemic in a century. The worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. The worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War.”

The idea that the entry of a group of unarmed people into the U.S. Capitol constituted the “worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War” was not just ridiculous (remember 9/11? Pearl Harbor?); it was insidious, as insidious as Bush’s remarks on September 11. The silliness and hysteria are in service of an effort to stigmatize, demonize and silence all dissent from their far-left agenda.

Ayup. Which deceitful, opportunistic manipulation intended to keep the big ball o’tyranny rolling merrily along just makes the whole thing all the more despicable.

Classy update! Compare, contrast.

Former President Trump made a surprise visit with New York City police and firefighters Saturday to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks.

In remarks to assembled guests, the former president sharply rebuked President Biden and the US pullout from Afghanistan.

“It was gross incompetence and I hate to talk about it on this day,” Trump said.

Trump praised New York’s Finest, telling the crowd, “if they let you do your job you wouldn’t have crime in New York!”

As some in the crowd nodded their heads, The Donald jokingly warned them to “just stand and just be perfect.”

He also signed the stationhouse log book, writing, “I love you all!”

Trump left the NYPD’s 17th Precinct in midtown just after 1:40 pm. He exited to cheers and applause, with one well-wisher screaming, “Thank you for keeping us safe.”

Y’know, for a guy widely vilified as an irredeemable, boorish clod entirely bereft of politesse or polish, he sure just made both Biden and Bush look like a couple of belching, farting troglodytes, didn’t he?
