Questions, questions Vol MCLXVIII

Our old bud Jeff Goldstein, via his posh, dee-luxxe new Substack joint Protein Wisdom Reborn, has ’em.

You are being told that your hate speech is the proximate cause of a politically motivated attack on the husband of the House Speaker. Simultaneously, you’re being condemned for not simply flagellating yourself for your sins of believing in deregulation and lower taxes.

But something wonderful is happening. The accused here are clapping back. Without contrition, and with pro-active venom. They are asking specific questions that a coordinated narrative driven by legacy media / Democrat party in lockstep, collaborators not used to being challenged without the ability to simply cancel the challenges, has proven ill-prepared for.

Early reporting of the attack included a few details since walked back by media outlets and SF police — from the number of people in the house, to the state of dress of the attacker, to the relationship, if any, between the attacker Paul Pelosi was able to identify by name, according to dispatch records, and Mr Pelosi himself.

Pelosi called police from inside his bathroom but then went back out into the house where the attacker was. Why would he do that? And what attacker gives his prey a bathroom break?

The offender — whom the legacy media insists represents all Republican voters — appears to have been living in a hippie commune, complete with a Rainbow BLM flag and a dilapidated school bus, known to neighbors as a drug den. He’s been described as a drug-addled nudist and sometimes male prostitute whose erstwhile life-partner, a self-described “progressive,” is in prison for stalking a 14-year-old boy. Is the attacker even a citizen? Is he in the country legally? Can he vote in US elections? If he’s simply crazy, how does that comport with legacy media reporting that those of us who haven’t attacked Paul Pelosi — or anyone else, for that matter — are responsible for his actions? If he was truly motivated by politics, and he was lucid enough to express that fact, how is he any different from a Bernie Bro who shot up a Republican baseball practice? Or the guy who ran over and killed a teen he suspected of being a Trump supporter after Biden’s speech from Hell’s mouth? Or the person who traveled across the country prepared to assassinate Kavanaugh? Or the monster who severely beat a young canvasser for the Rubio campaign? Why is one instance considered by the legacy media and Democrats like Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, fully representative of a political party, while all the others are….not?

These are all legitimate questions, many of which could be answered with video and police body camera footage. Or even a press conference — which, as we saw in the wake of a Texas school shooting, we should still take with a grain of salt. But none of this has been forthcoming. Why is that? And how is it, in lieu of these questions having no clear, agreed upon answers, that the legacy media feel confident enough to report on the attacker’s motives? Or even what actually transpired that evening?

What we don’t deserve are unfounded generalized recriminations based on our political affiliations.

What we do deserve are answers.

And in the post-fascist Twittersphere, we’re going to keep demanding them.

Threatening to cancel our speech is off the table now. And we have zero fucks about the progressives’ phony outrage left to give.

The times, they are a-changing.

Thank God.

Kuenstler has a few questions himself, for which he provides some speculative answers that comport a hell of a lot better with Occam’s Razor than any of the cockamamie crapola they’ve tried to get the more gullible among us to swallow so far.

If David DePape didn’t walk fourteen miles from Berkeley to Pacific Heights, or take a cab (expensive), how did he get there? Here’s a theory: he rode the BART subway from Berkeley to the Church Street and Mission station in the city, a five-minute walk to the Castro, San Francisco’s fabled gay district. Sometime before 2:00 a.m. closing time, he met up in a bar there with Paul Pelosi, who drove DePape to the Pelosi house in a car not equipped with an interlock device. That is to say, David DePape was let into the house by Mr. Pelosi.

The police and the news media have theorized that DePape broke into the place by smashing a glass door in back. Uh-huh…. Ask yourself: would there not be an alarm system at least on all the ground floor windows and doors in the house? Would there not be security cameras on the back side of the house — the side that burglars might prefer, if they could get over the wall? Would the Speaker of the House, with a discretionary budget on top of a $300-million fortune, and in a time of epic political rancor, not have a team of security guards in place at her private home?

Initial news media chatter had both DePape and Paul Pelosi dressed in their underwear, struggling over a hammer which turned out to belong to Mr. Pelosi. Not until the police entered the house did DePape wrest the hammer from Mr. Pelosi and commence to brain him with it. What does the arrest report actually say about the two men’s state-of-dress? It is not public information. How and why were the police just watching until DePape assaulted Mr. Pelosi — who was hospitalized afterward and had surgery on his cracked skull? (Uh, how did a blow that literally broke his skull not kill the elderly Mr. Pelosi?)

The news media initially suggested that somebody — a third person on the scene — opened the door to let the police in. Now they are saying no such person was there. Was the front door unlocked? (Weird, considering the general threat level for a public figure of Nancy P’s stature.) Or, did police break the glass door in the rear of the house to get in? (However, photos of the door show the glass being broken from the inside and shards spread over the outside.) Odd, also, that such a wealthy and powerful couple would not have hard-to-smash security glass on such a door. (It’s easy to buy.) Odd, too, that there was not one human security guard on the premises. The house had security cameras all over the exterior and interior. No mention in the news media or from the SFPD of what might have been recorded by these cameras at the time of the incident.

My assessment of this bizarre episode as follows: Paul Pelosi was out drinking late the night of the incident. He hooked up with David DePape, a hustler he might have been previously acquainted with, and took him back to the house in Pacific Heights. Something went wrong with the transaction. Considering that DePape exhibited psychotic behavior at times, it might have taken little to set him off. All the authorities involved are playing it coy, but failing to construct a narrative that adds up.

Nope, because they can’t—it’s all just too convoluted, too bizarre a script for suspension of belief to ever hope to cover all of it, featuring a cast of jaded, Dionysian, über-wealthy sexual deviants American Normals can’t relate to at all, and have no real desire to. Which speaks well of THEM, at least.

Is EVERYBODY involved in the Pelosi bludgeoning a sicko degenerate?

It’s beginning to look that way, yeah.

The nudist ex-lover of the man who attacked Paul Pelosi is a pedophile who attempted to kidnap a 14-year-old boy and allegedly bought sex dolls for her sons to use.

Oxane ‘Gypsy’ Taub, 53, the former lover of David DePape who is charged with attacking Pelosi in his San Francisco home, was convicted in 2021 for child abuse.

Prosecutors said Taub, who once protested naked in front of San Francisco City Hall, had been stalking the boy, sending him emails and messages and trying to lure him to secretly meet with her.

Following his attack on Pelosi, DePape has been accused by his daughter of sexually assaulting his three children when they were kids.

Y’all may remember Paul Pelosi’s arrest a few months back for nearly killing a girl while driving drunk—on which charges this rich-boy child of extreme privilege skated without doing a single day in jail, after not even bothering to show up in court for his “sentencing”—but I bet you didn’t know this carefully-excised part of the story:

It’s been a rumor for years in SF that Paul Pelosi is gay. David Depape is said to be a Castro Nudist. “The lunatic who allegedly assaulted Paul Pelosi is a Berkeley resident and a ‘Former Castro Nudist Protester’ and hemp ‘jewelry maker’ …sounds totally MAGA Republican to me. 🤣🤣” this from Twitter.

When Paul Pelosi was busted for drunk driving accident earlier in the year, he had a young man with him, and that too was covered up by the police and the press.

Bold mine, and every bit as hinky as the rest of this loony-bin shit-circus is. EXPLAINER: this “Castro Nudist” thing is basically a small group of gay male prostitutes with a penchant for parading around the streets of SF wearing nothing but maybe a cock-ring, not that there’s anything wrong with that.

So okay, yeah, obviously all of the reprobates in the Pelosi Skull Cracking cast of characters are not merely ordinary, everyday weirdos, but are truly, deeply depraved. Back to the revelations from DePape’s nekkid former lover.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — The former partner of the man accused of violently attacking Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband at their San Francisco home on Friday is revealing new details about the suspect.

“Hello this is Gypsy Taub. I am the ex-life partner of David DePape and the mother of his children,” said Oxane Taub, calling from the Californian Institution For Women in Corona, California.

“He is mentally ill. He has been mentally ill for a long time,” said Taub, who last year was found guilty on 20 counts, including the attempted abduction of a 14-year-old boy near his Berkeley high school.

She described a time DePape returned home after disappearing for a year.

“He came back in very bad shape. He thought he was Jesus. He was constantly paranoid, thinking people were after him,” Taub said. “And it took a good year or two to get back to, you know, being halfway normal.”

Tara Campbell: “Did he ever show any aggression towards politicians, were his political beliefs extreme in your opinion?”

Taub: “Well when I met him, he was only 20 years old, and he didn’t have any experience in politics, and he was very much in alignment with my views and I’ve always been very progressive. I absolutely admire Nancy Pelosi.”

Uh oh; there goes the Usual Suspects’ hastily cobbled-together narrative, that DePape was a violent Rightwing Extremist MAGA Nazi, looks like.

The Kingdom of Hell

As the drunken psychotic Karl Marx himself specified, seizing control of and then “fundamentally transforming” the very language itself remains Item One on the shitlib agenda.

Transgendering Language
As has become flagrantly obvious over the years, the political left and its myrmidons in the media, medical industry, social agencies, public libraries, and school system have become slickly adept at framing the cultural debate between conservatives and “progressives” by mutilating discourse, fudging long-accepted distinctions, and decoupling terms from their culturally ascribed referents. What was understood for centuries and millennia as decency becomes indecency, good becomes bad, virtue becomes vice, settled tradition becomes feral violence, family and marriage become barbarism and bondage (the feminist mantra), and so on. Conversely, what is destructive of customary order becomes enlightened transformation.

A comparatively recent and most egregious case in point involves what is now called “conversion therapy,” the target of the non-binary and transgender prepossession preaching “diversity” to minors — a cult that has now acquired conventional status. But what is “conversion therapy”?

It is a term calculated to deceive, to reverse normal assumptions by condemning parents concerned about their children’s sexual identity. Thus, to take an instance of adroit dissimulation, according to Human Rights Campaign (HRC), “So-called ‘conversion therapy,’ sometimes known as ‘reparative therapy,’ is a range of dangerous and discredited practices that falsely claim to change a person’s sexual orientation.” The truth is precisely the opposite. Responsible parents do not wish to “change” or “convert” their children’s sexual orientation but to retain it.

The real “conversion” that is taking place is from natural sexual identity at birth to non-binary and transgender dysphoria, assumed as a therapeutic given. Nonetheless, it is the parents who have been criminalized in law for an offense committed by a persecuting and iniquitous government. Witness Canada’s Bill C-4, which declares that conversion therapy harms society because “it is based on and propagates myths and stereotypes about sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression, including the myth that heterosexuality… and gender expression that conforms to the sex assigned to a person at birth are to be preferred over other sexual orientations” (emphasis mine). The Bill is a farrago of abject nonsense, as is the concept of sex as “assigned” at birth by medical personnel and society.

The irony of gender ideology is particularly mordant. Psychological, chemical and surgical mutilation is a function, not of parents maiming their offspring as is generally claimed, but of the gender theorists and predatory groomers who transition (or “convert”) children via persuasion, doctrine, pornographic material, sexual gadgetry, hormone treatments, puberty blockers, testosterone infusions, metoidioplasty, phalloplasty, orchiectomy, voice therapy, facial reconstruction, mastectomy, hysterectomy, and other undiminished horrors. It is the official mandarins in the precincts of authority who are the real criminals, encouraging and even forcing young people to embrace life-altering outcomes that promise to be, for many of them, a lifelong condition of misery and dysfunction.

Meanwhile, as noted, the gender mavens will jail parents who object to the insertion of the state into the natural family. They will move to pass legislation, like Ontario’s Bill 89, that seeks to place the state in loco parentis — as in totalitarian societies, the child is understood as belonging to the state, not to the family. They will hide their congenial abominations under perfumed euphemisms like “gender-affirming health care,” but they are nonetheless recidivist felons. The stench of their dogmatic atrocities befouls the cultural and social environment. Their starting point is to conceive the abnormal as normal; preserving the normal is consequently regarded as a “conversion.” The device is a classic non-sequitur, assuming as a rhetorical fact what has not been or cannot be established, like the “Have you stopped beating your wife?” canard. It is as effective as it is disingenuous.

No coincidence, that, seeing as how Canada is well gone into its own fundamental transformation into a totalitarian society, with Amerika v2.0 trotting along dismayingly close behind it.

These apprentices of evil must be held to account.

Absolutely, indubitably correct. The sticking point being that there is only one way that can ever be accomplished, and no amount of well-written op-eds, well-constructed arguments, well-attended protests and/or rallies, or VOATING HARDERER™ at them is gonna suffice to turn the trick. What can speeches, essays, and debates possibly avail anyone when the very words themselves have been stripped of all meaning?

Power, destruction, death

Quoth Captain Malcolm Reynolds: If somebody tries to kill you, you kill ’em right back.

Middle Earth had its Mount Doom, into which the One Ring of Power could be tossed, ridding that evil from J.R.R. Tolkien’s fictional setting. Real Earth is not so fortunate, but in all other aspects the lessons drawn from his classic apply. It only comes up short in one respect. Tolkien never delved into the psychology of Sauron, Saruman, and the lessor denizens of Middle Earth who lusted after the One Ring’s power, other than to depict the inevitable corruption of the soul their lust produced.

There are two conclusions uncorrupted souls have difficulty accepting, although both experience and logic point uncompromisingly towards them. The first is that those in power and those who lust for it want power for power’s sake, ultimately to destroy and kill. The second is that they want to destroy and kill because they want to destroy existence and kill themselves. We owe the first conclusion to Orwell, the second to Rand. (For a fuller explanation see “The Last Gasp,” Robert Gore, SLL, March 24, 2020.)

This article assumes both conclusions are well-founded and that the second in particular is the key to understanding where the world is now and where it’s going. They offer a realistic assessment of the chances for nuclear Armageddon.

It is no coincidence that the twentieth century witnessed history’s most totalitarian regimes and its bloodiest wars and genocides. By all indications the twenty-first century will extend the connected trends. Power goes hand-in-hand with destruction and death. Governments are based on their capacity to inflict violence; what else can they produce? Rejecting lofty rhetoric and revolutionary rationales, Orwell wrote that: Power is not a means; it is an end. The twentieth century demonstrated that power is a means to inflict incalculable destruction and death. Know them by their fruits—those are the true ends of those who seek and hold power.

Report after report details the injury and death inflicted by the Covid mRNA vaccines, puncturing hollow platitudes and invocations of “Science.” The travesty offers a refresher course we don’t really need: from world leaders down to petty politicians and functionaries, they want to kill us. Those who aren’t killed are to be frightened into compliance with their ghastly and tyrannical edicts, herded like cattle into some other slaughterhouse.

The gelatinous souls who move whatever direction the bowl tilts usually don’t recognize what’s happening until the moment of their execution. Beforehand, a few of the more intellectually adept will argue that the powerful will be limited by their instinct for self-preservation—if they kill too many they’ll end up killing themselves. Perhaps that thought offers comfort, however scant.

But what if the powerful are like those mass shooters whose terror ends only when they turn their guns on themselves? What if mass murder is the means to their desired end: suicide? Someone who kills himself but no one else is to be pitied. Someone who kills innocents before taking his own life perpetrates paramount evil.

Which would give our putative “leaders” not one moment’s pause, being willing representatives of Paramount Evil their own selves.

It is to laugh

That, or cry, I suppose.

The inherent humor to be found in a president ordering a cut in gas production and then wondering why gas prices rise, all while blaming it on the greed of oil companies—a scenario previously demonstrated beyond doubt just a half dozen years ago by another president—is difficult to ignore.

It will be a sardonic laugh we can all have as we cool our heels and wonder why the diesel-powered trucks are not delivering the goods this winter. The scare of global warming, the supposed cause of this specific governmental overreach, will do us little good come January, but the frightening cure will likely have destroyed the most innovative economy in history—and any potential for a practical solution.

And on Tuesday, November 8, be assured that the huge imbalance of Democratic votes that appear magically when and wherever an establishment hack is in danger of losing his or her sinecure, is nothing to be concerned about. The election is not “stolen.” It is only borrowed. The software in those election machines was not tampered with, it was corrected. The names of those voters who are deceased but voted nonetheless was just a clerical error, and those who voted twice did so only by accident. Anyway, it didn’t happen, but believe us now, and it will never happen again.

How then should we describe the psychosis that gripped our nation and the world over the past two years? Wearing masks was suddenly not just a Halloween trick or treat. There are countless books about mass murderers, but the stories are usually so much the same. Nice boy. Quiet. A loner. But this one is unique. You can expect more books, but now it will be the victim’s fault—some people just didn’t Fauci fast enough! You know the litany about lockdowns, school closings, rising crime, ineffective vaccines, all of it misinformation!

But wait! What about all of those people who are still wearing masks? The overwhelming negative evidence about the social, psychological, and physical effects of wearing masks is now over two years old. And then there is the total criminal stupidity of giving children COVID vaccinations, and boosters—where does this actually end?

Speaking of children’s treats, isn’t it special that the tall muscular girl in your daughter’s gym class gets to shower with the rest of the team? You had brothers, so it was nothing new for you, but wow! You must know, don’t you, that he’s the one—I mean she’s the one—who got the team into the State championships! What can be wrong with that? Well, of course, your daughter didn’t quite reach the mark this year.  But we all have to make a few sacrifices, don’t we?

WE do, yeah. Shitlibs, freaks, headcases, Democrat Party victim-class constituencies, and sundry other reprobates never seem to, somehow.

Return of the desaparecido

Put nothing whatever past these vile, perfidious enemies of all humanity.

An award-winning ABC News investigative reporter who was working on a book about President Joe Biden’s disastrous pullout from Afghanistan has not been seen in months after his apartment was raided by the FBI reportedly in connection with having classified material on his computer.

Rolling Stone broke the story about 52-year-old James Gordon Meek, an Emmy-winning journalist, on Tuesday. Meek was also former senior counterterrorism adviser and investigator for the House Homeland Security Committee.

The FBI conducted a pre-dawn raid on his upscale apartment in Arlington, Virginia, back in April and he has not been seen since.

The publication claims that sources familiar with matter said that he was the target of a federal investigation and that the FBI allegedly found classified information on his laptop during the raid.

None of Meek’s neighbors have seen him since the raid, the report said. “He fell off the face of the Earth,” one neighbor said, noting that they’ve asked around, “but no one knew the answer.”

The report said that it was unclear what story Meeks could have been working on that would’ve led to the raid, but it noted that the entire situation was “even stranger” because Meeks was finishing a book titled, “Operation Pineapple Express: The Incredible Story of a Group of Americans Who Undertook One Last Mission and Honored a Promise in Afghanistan.”

Lt. Col. Scott Mann, who was co-authoring the book, said that he got a call from Meeks earlier this year indicating that something was going on.

“He contacted me in the spring, and was really distraught, and told me that he had some serious personal issues going on and that he needed to withdraw from the project,” Mann said. “As a guy who’s a combat veteran who has seen that kind of strain — I don’t know what it was — I honored it. And he went on his way, and I continued on the project.”

Just par for the usual course, an unremarkable and quite ordinary part of life under an authoritarian central government gone rogue. JJ elaborates:

Maybe it’s just me but this Merrick Garland chap is coming across more and more as rather a dislikable fellow, nein?

It’s bad enough when the FBI/DOJ at the behest of the Deep State sabotage an election (Miranda Devine’s waiting for an apology is risible unless she’s being sarcastic) then stage a Reichstag Fire (Godwin, drink!) phony “insurrection” to entrap innocent law-abiding protesters and hold them as political prisoners to preserve the illusion that 2020 was legitimate and anyone who says otherwise is on the verge of being labeled “a clear and present danger” to America.

We’ve now already seen that reliably leftist organizations like the National Association of School Boards colluded with the White House to have uppity parents identified by the DOJ as potential terrorists for objecting at school board meetings to the mental and physical abuse of their children and demanding change. We know that corrupt organizations like the ACLU and SPLC gin up phony stats (as if they had to) that perpetuate the myth of a vast white supremacist organization — comprised solely of millions of conservative and Republican voters — set to overthrow the government, which in turn the DOJ uses as a casus belli and political cover to oppress dissent.

So now, an investigative reporter who dares write a book that is critical if not an actual exposé of the Biden junta’s disastrous Afghanistan bug-out debacle “vanished off the face of the earth” months ago, without a trace. Can you say “nacht und nebel?”

If I were a betting man, I’d say if this story gains traction, Meek will be found dead, buck naked (except for a MAGA hat) in a seedy French hotel, surrounded by two dead catamites along with a suitcase full of documents linking him either to the Mossad or the Saudi intelligence services. The photos will resemble that of the aftermath of the Mar-a-Lago raid. The cherry on top will be abject criminal scumbags like Peter Strzok spouting the party line that Meek was trafficking in phony disinformation. A “dossier” if you will.

Myself, I’d bet they’ve offed him already, and they’ll get away scot-free with it, too. There’s also been speculation here and there that Meek has actually gone into hiding, which would be the closest facsimile of a happy ending one ever gets in a tyranny as soulless, depraved, and morally bankrupt as Amerika v2.0 damned sure us. One thing we know for absolute certain: Americans can never again lay a remotely credible claim to being “free” as long as the FBI still exists, and remains perfectly free to run amok amongst its political foes without constraint.

“I don’t condone this shite”

Nor do I, sir. Nor do I.

Woke Culture is Shite
The woke culture being promoted today by the regime’s media and pansy corporations is utter shite. This new shite culture has penetrated nearly every aspect of our civilization. From kindergarten grooming of children to “sexy” underwear ads to college sports to the military, woke culture is in our faces daily. Gender Dysphoria and Critical Race Theory are promoted, celebrated, and pushed into every nook and cranny. The goal seems to be the destruction of Western Civilization.

It absolutely is, yes. As a first step, though, the purpose is to completely demoralize all those who still harbor some residual fondness for it, despite…well, everything it’s become.

Every day I see new places I would have never guessed this shite culture could enter. Yesterday I was reviewing the rewritten By-Laws produced by a law firm for my condominium and found this shite:

Plurality; Gender. Wherever the context so permits, the singular includes the plural, the plural includes the singular, and the use of any gender includes all or no genders.

What? No! I don’t condone this shite. As President of the Board of Directors, I will call for a vote—The legal documents of this Association shall incorporate the fact that there are two English pronouns for the two human genders, “he” and “she.”

Apparently, I need to forward this meme to our condo attorney. And perhaps to my State legislators who wrote the Condominium Law, as some of the shite in the new documents was mandated by politicians in Tallahassee telling us how to run our home. Check your pants, sir.

There are about 37 trillion cells in the human body. Each one shows if a person is a man or a woman (setting aside the minuscule number of intersex cases). “Identifying” as something different from 37 trillion facts doesn’t change reality. Males have a Y chromosome, while females do not. This isn’t hard, folks.

“You can ignore reality, but you can not ignore the consequence of ignoring reality.” – Ayn Rand

Wear whatever clothes you want, and pick the name you want. Fine, I could care less. But don’t tell me to use a pronoun that is obviously wrong or one that is not even English. I am not going to participate in this shite culture. I am not going to misgender someone by referring to an obvious human male as “she.”

Recognition of the problem is the first step psychologically. Then rejection, then the determination of solutions, then action. Reject what you know is wrong. Refuse to participate. Call them out. Expose the shite.

The people and organizations promoting this culture are also in control of politics and hence are in control of the government. Shite culture is now in Congress and in the White House. It’s in the Army, the Department of Education, and the FBI. To fix D.C. requires fixing culture. Fixing the culture requires sound philosophy.

Voting as a solution is working from the downstream end upwards; likely hopeless. It is trying to fix politics when the problem is derived from bad culture and rooted in bad philosophy. It is pushing on a rope. We need good philosophy to promote good culture. Downstream politics will then follow.

In 1776 the dominant philosophy and the downstream culture in America supported individual rights, responsibility, and limited government. Truth and reality were highly valued. The Founders would have considered it ludicrous for the government not to know what the difference between a man and a woman is. The government, politics, and Washington D.C. produced by this philosophy and culture was sound, just, moral, and based on objective reality.

Fix the culture by promoting good philosophy—or give it up as a problem of irreconcilable differences and divorce. A large part of America adamantly opposes this shite. The question is if we can remain a union with such stark cultural differences.

The real question at this point is, who in their right mind would even WANT to?

Child abuse, by any other name

Man, this slope we’re on sure is slippery, ain’t it?

Parents could face abuse charges for not affirming their LGBTQ child under a new bill

Virginia parents could face a felony or misdemeanor charge if they do not affirm their child’s sexual orientation and gender identity, according to a state lawmaker with plans to introduce the legislation in Virginia’s upcoming legislative session.

Right now, parents’ rights and LGBTQ protections are a big focus in Virginia.

Thousands of students in Virginia have walked out of class protesting Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s newly proposed model policies on the treatment of transgender students at school.

But Gov. Youngkin argues school districts and school administrators shouldn’t keep parents in the dark about their child’s sexual orientation and gender identities.

“These same progressives in Fairfax County actually believe they should lock parents out of their children’s lives,” Youngkin said at a “parents matter” rally during the beginning of the school year. “They think parents have no right to know what your child is discussing with their teacher or counselor.”

DAMN the Repugnican bastige, for not acknowledging that It Takes A Village™ to raise a child…a village of pedophiles, degenerates, and the mentally ill, that is.

In response to Youngkin’s proposed model policy on the treatment of transgender students at Virginia schools, Democratic Virginia Delegate Elizabeth Guzman plans to take legislative actions.

“The day that Governor Youngkin wanted to implement this policy, I immediately texted the policy lead of that committee and said, this is how we’re going to push back,” Guzman told 7News.

Guzman is a social worker and she’s planning on reintroducing a bill in Richmond that she says would help protect LGBTQ children from their parents and guardians who are not affirming of their child’s sexual orientation and gender identity.

“If the child shares with those mandated reporters, what they are going through, we are talking about not only physical abuse or mental abuse, what the job of that mandated reporter is to inform Child Protective Services,” Guzman told 7News. “And then that’s how everybody gets involved. There’s also an investigation in place that is not only from a social worker but there’s also a police investigation before we make the decision that there is going to be a CPS charge.”

“Mandated reporters,” eh? Gee, wonder what that might consist of, how one might go about getting hired on for such a position, what the position pays, who their bosses might be, and what ideological leanings might be Qualification One for those bosses?

“No, it’s not. It’s educating parents because the law tells you the do’s and don’ts,” Guzman answered. “So this law is telling you do not abuse your children because they are LGBTQ.”

Ahh, what godawful straits we’d all be in without The Law around to instruct us on the Do’s and Don’ts.

“I think that it’s extremely important that we show that as a community we are ready to accept each other for who they are and whom they love,” Guzman told 7News. “And this is not a bill that will agitate parents because we haven’t seen any parents to come against it.”

If that last contention is actually true, which I very much doubt, then it’s those inattentive, uncaring parents who need to be the ones tossed in the hoosegow—for child neglect, reckless endangerment, and a few other charges to be specified as and when.

Via Divemedic, whose title says it all: “We Always Knew They Were Going Here.” Well, some of us surely did, yeah. Man, I’m so old I can remember all the way back to the Olden Thymes, during the brouhaha over gay “marriage,” when so much as indulging in idle speculation on how it could open the door to all sorts of more bizarre and depraved escalations was haughtily dismissed as absurd, a complete impossibility, the exclusive province of unsophisticated knuckledraggers.

And now, well, here we all are. Prediction: within four or five years, marrying barnyard animals will be acceptable. Then, enthusiastically celebrated. And eventually, mandated under color of law.

Christ on a crutch, where to even begin.

‘We are expected to be OK with not having children’: how gay parenthood through surrogacy became a battleground

Well, I mean, y’know, duh. And here I’ve been thinking all this time that “being OK with not having children” was sorta baked right into the life-as-a-gay-couple cake. Silly me.

Corey Briskin and Nicholas Maggipinto met in law school in 2011, were engaged by 2014, and had their 2016 wedding announced in the New York Times. They moved to a waterfront apartment block in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, with a bright playroom for families on the ground floor.

“We got married and then we wanted all the trappings: house, children, 401K [retirement saving plan], etc,” Maggipinto, 37, tells me in their building’s shared meeting room, tapping the table in sequence with the progression of each idea.

Briskin, 30, grew up assuming he’d have children. He came out in college. “Once I had come out to myself and others, I don’t think my expectation of what my life would look like changed all that much.” With marriage equality won years ago, they expected to be able to have a conventional married life.

Sorry, fellas, but I’m afraid that’s gonna be a mite tough with what is, by definition, a non-conventional marriage.

Six months before their wedding, a targeted ad from an organisation called Gay Parents to Be landed in Maggipinto’s Instagram feed, offering free consultations with a fertility doctor who’d give them “the whole rundown” on how they could start a family. “We had the appointment and we were 100% on the same page – let’s move forward with this,”says Maggipinto.

That’s when they first became aware of the eye-watering cost of biological parenthood for gay men. Maggipinto reels off the price list in a way that only someone who has pored over every item could. There’s compensation for the egg donor: no less than $8,000 (£6,600). The egg-donor agency fee: $8,000-10,000. The fertility clinic’s bill (including genetic testing, blood tests, STD screening and a psychiatric evaluation for all parties, sperm testing, egg extraction, insemination, the growing, selecting, freezing and implantation of the resulting embryos): up to $70,000. And that’s if it all goes well: if no embryos are created during a cycle, or if the embryos that are don’t lead to a successful pregnancy, they would have to start again.

Then there’s the cost of a surrogate (called a “gestational carrier” when they carry embryos created from another woman’s eggs). Maggipinto and Briskin were told agency fees alone could stretch to $25,000, and the surrogates themselves should be paid a minimum of $60,000 (it is illegal for surrogates to be paid in the UK, but their expenses are covered by the intended parents). “That payment doesn’t include reimbursement for things like maternity clothing; lost wages if she misses work for doctors’ appointments or is put on bed rest; transportation; childcare for her own children; [or] lodging.”

It takes 15 minutes for Maggipinto to run me through all the expenses they could incur if they tried to have a child genetically related to one of them. The bottom line? “Two hundred thousand dollars, minimum,” he says, tapping his index finger on the table with each word in disbelief.

Hey, gotta pay to play. Whatever made you guys imagine that bucking biology, rationality, and reality itself could be done on the cheap?

They couldn’t afford it. Maggipinto earns a corporate lawyer’s salary but is saddled with student debt. Briskin used to work for the City of New York as an assistant district attorney, earning about $60,000 a year.

Ugh. Lawyers. It figures.

His employment benefits had included generous health insurance. But when they read the policy, they discovered they were the only class of people to be excluded from IVF coverage. Infertility was defined as an inability to have a child through heterosexual sex or intrauterine insemination. That meant straight people and lesbians working for the City of New York would have the costs of IVF covered, but gay male couples could never be eligible.

This isn’t an oversight, it’s discrimination, Briskin says. “The policy is the product of a time when there was a misconception, a stereotype, a prejudice against couples that were made up of two men – that they were not capable of raising children because there was no female figure in that relationship.”

Briskin was working alongside colleagues who were happily availing themselves of the benefits he wasn’t entitled to. One of his co-workers – an older, single woman – became a mother using donor sperm, IVF and surrogacy. “It was hard,” he tells me quietly. “You want to be happy for people.” Their frustration at not being able to have their own children turned to anguish. “My sister – who is more than six years younger than me – just gave birth to her second baby,” Maggipinto says, twisting his wedding ring. “I was OK with not being a parent at 30, I felt that was very normal for our generation and the current work-life balance ethos. But seven years later, I’m really not happy.”

Anyone capable of uttering gibberish phrases like “work-life balance ethos” with a straight face ought to be legally barred from having children. Thankfully, though, the response confirms that sanity and common sense still do exist in this topsy-turvy world.

Maggipinto and Briskin braced themselves for some kind of backlash when news of their claim broke. But there was a deluge: on Instagram and Facebook, in audio messages and in their work email inboxes, on Reddit and beneath news articles. Wherever you could post public comments, there was condemnation.

A much-liked response to one piece about their story read: “Not having a uterus because you are male, does not make you ‘infertile’ – it makes you MALE. No one – and I do mean no one – has the right to rent another human’s body and womb to use as an incubator. That is not a human right.”

Actually, all my sarcasm and snark aside, these two do in fact seem to be susceptible to making a certain amount of sense here and there, almost despite themselves:

They never claimed any right to surrogacy, Maggipinto says. “I think a woman willing to do this is enormously generous. In the same way that I feel like I’ve been robbed of time in my life because I don’t have a child yet, I feel like the sacrifice a woman makes to be pregnant for someone else is an enormous chunk of time out of her life that she’ll never get back, and the compensation really is a token for that.”

When it comes to the fear that gay surrogacy erases mothers, Maggipinto is defiant. “Our family will be a motherless family,” he says, tapping his finger on the table again, “I won’t tiptoe around that.” But the creation of that family doesn’t depend on the exploitation of women. “We’re not using a woman’s body. We are accepting a woman’s generosity to use her own body in a way that she agrees with.”

Fair enough, I suppose. In the end, though, as I’ve so often said of liberals in general, their quarrel isn’t with me, or with anybody else out there; it’s with reality, which, no matter how they try to adjust it to suit their own desires, isn’t bendable in the direction they need it to be bent. Bottom line brought to you by Phyllis Chesler, who lays it out plain, nary a punch pulled.

Chesler is an author and a professor of psychology and women’s studies. She has been a critic of surrogacy ever since she campaigned for the rights of Mary Beth Whitehead, the New Jersey surrogate who fought for custody of the baby she carried in 1986. (Whitehead’s case was ultimately unsuccessful.) When New York state voted to legalise commercial surrogacy in 2020, Chesler was one of the most vocal campaigners against it. The fight was still fresh in her mind when she heard about Briskin and Maggipinto’s claim.

“Gay men now want insurance companies to treat being born male as a disability or as a protected category, one which requires paid compensation,” she wrote in an article for a feminist website published a few days after the men filed their complaint. “They are protesting the ‘unfairness’ of not having been born biologically female.”

“One of them comes from a wealthy family. The wealthy know the world’s their oyster: they can buy whatever they want and if the poor are ill-served, well, so be it, it’s the way of the world. This way of thinking is involved in surrogacy. Nobody is saying: ‘I would rather give up this longing if it means harming another human being.’ The types of people who opt for surrogacy are entitled, used to getting what they want. Here I include celebrity women who do not want to ruin their figures.”

Chesler is a mother and a grandmother. She has been married several times – most recently to a woman. Their wedding certificate is framed on the wall. “If you balance the women who could die in pregnancy, the women who could become infertile because of their eggs being harvested, who must endure pain and loss of time in a way not commensurate to what they are being paid, against this new desire of a gay male couple to use surrogacy as their first option, I think the balance of suffering is more on the female side.”

Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to conceive. Mother Nature can be a real bitch like that sometimes.

Police: Driver admitted to intentionally killing teen at North Dakota street dance after political dispute

McHENRY, N.D. — According to court papers, it was not an accident but apparently a politically motivated attack.

The fatal vehicle-pedestrian incident happened early Sunday morning, Sept. 18, in McHenry, North Dakota, about 120 miles northwest of Fargo and 54 miles north of Jamestown.

Prosecutors allege moments before he was killed, 18-year-old Cayler Ellingson called his mom to come rescue him because 41-year-old Shannon Brandt was chasing him in the city of McHenry, where the street dance had just wrapped up.

By the time she could get there, her son was dead.

Brandt was officially charged Monday with vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of a deadly accident.

“He was the one who called 911 to report the crash,” said North Dakota Highway Patrol Capt. Bryan Niewind.

Court papers show Brandt called 911 around 2:30 a.m. Sunday and told the 911 dispatcher that he just hit Ellingson, claiming the teen was part of a Republican extremist group and was calling people to come get Brandt after a political argument.

This sort of thing just keeps right on happening, again and again and again, which will continue until we finally decide to do something about it. Sorry and all, but that will NOT involve archly pointing out the violent, hate-filled Left’s boundless “hypocrisy”; patting ourselves on the back for being “better than they are”; or, God help us, “VOTING HARDERER!” at them. But hey, we should cut the vile waste of skin a little slack, maybe. After all, he was only following the marching orders explicitly laid out by our Pedophile “***pResident***” for him. As Sefton notes:

Like the steering wheel that was in this bastard’s hands, or the rifle that was in James Hodgkinson’s hands, or the Molotov cocktails that were in Antifa’s hands, and so on and so on and scoobie doobie doobie. This attack was not a one-off just as Biden’s call for what amounts to a national pogrom, horrible as they were and unprecedented in coming from the occupant of the highest elected office in the land, were not one-offs. In one form or another, the rhetoric against us has been building in volume and intensity for years now.

Recall in the aftermath of the horrific attack in Oklahoma City, Bill Clinton blamed talk radio in a gossamer-thin veiled indictment of Rush Limbaugh. When confronted by the lie, Clinton attempted to walk it back by blaming some yahoos in the wilds of Michigan somewhere, who were speaking on “ham radio.” And before Kurt/Forrest Gump or some other troll attempts to tie us at the hip to Timothy McVeigh, he was resoundingly and loudly disavowed, as was the mass murder he committed as soon as the news broke that day.

We abhor violence. We detest it to our core. We beg and plead just to be left alone to live our lives as we want, within the constraints of our faith and our morals, and in return we gladly afford the same to anyone else. It is the anti-American Left and their party, the Democrats, that believe exactly the opposite. It is they who are the purveyors of death, violence, hate and incitement in the name of accruing absolute power. Even in the wake of this horrific attack, which you can bet your ass is only the beginning especially in the run up to the midterms, Joey opened his trap again:

During comments at the ironically titled “United We Stand” summit last week, Joe Biden declared that “hate” runs throughout American history, and once again singled out those who don’t agree with his politics as ‘violent extremists’.“

There’s a through line of hate from massacres of indigenous people to the original sin of slavery,” Biden declared.

He continued, “The terror of the clan, to anti-immigration violence against the Irish, Italians, Chinese, Mexicans. So many of those laced through our history.”

“There’s a through line of violence against religious groups anti semitic, anti Catholic, anti Mormon, anti Muslim, anti Hindu, anti Sikh,” Biden further asserted.

Biden vowed to expose “hate-fueled violence”, directly citing Trump supporters and conservatives in general.

“Unfortunately, such hate-fueled violence and threats are not new to America,” Biden proclaimed, adding “hate never fully goes away, it only hides.”

Projection — in this case projectile vomiting — ain’t just a river in Egypt. Make no mistake, Biden’s revolting words at Independence Hall were not just a call to arms for braindead lefties like the goon in the car that ran down the kid or even Antifa and BLM. He is fully marshaling every single arm of this illegitimate and corrupt government to turn it into a massive police state that is hell bent on crushing the life out of us.

Naturally, the scum-gargling piece of quasi-human debris bonded out with a quickness, a real deal at only a paltry 5k.

He’s only being charged with vehicular homicide — not first-degree murder, which is what he actually confessed to.

Vehicular homicide is not a murder statute — it is a manslaughter rap. It is about an unintentional homicide by vehicle, when under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

THIS GUY HUNTED THIS TEENAGER DOWN, DELIBERATELY RAN HIM DOWN, THEN LEFT HIM BLEEDING IN AN ALLEY TO DIE.

That is intentional murder.

He admitted as such.

And he’s only charged with a drunk driving Oopsie?

No FBI investigation launched, even though his crime is a textbook Domestic Violent Extremist murder of a teenager.

As I noted, this Domestic Violent Extremist murder of a teenager occurred just 19 days after Joe Biden branded any Trump supporter an enemy of the state, inciting the Democrat faithful to hatred and violence.

And now a murder of a teenager — and rather than being held with no bail offered, he’s allowed to walk by putting up a mere $5,000. The bond is $50,000 but a bail company only requires you put up 10% of the bond; they put up the other 90%.

You all already know it, but I gotta say it anyhow: if somebody on Our Side had done the exact same thing to a fucking Libtard, the bond would have been a million dollars if not more—as Miguel at GFZ reminds us, bail for young Kyle Rittenhouse, accused of the heinous “crime” of acting in self-defense against an armed, bloodthirsty mob in hot pursuit of him, was set at TWO MILLION DOLLARS, ferchrissakes—assuming bond was even offered at all. You know it, I know it, and most important of all, THEY know it. BCE notes the crossing of a crucial line, with a little compare-contrast thrown in:

John Wilder of Wilder, Wealthy and Wise does his Civil War thing every week… pretty much calling it as he sees it, along with some very very good ‘punny’ Memes, and some that he needs to be taken out back and beaten with a club like a baby seal for. Anywho (Hi John! 😉 ) The whole ‘genocide’ thing has been on a LOT of peoples minds, especially anyone who believes in normalcy, sanity, two genders and maybe even that America is a nice place? Seems believing in these and a slew of what used to be nominally ‘normal’ (for the sake of the non insane people out there) makes you a Terrorist right up there with Bin Laden or Carlos the Jackal.

The line of which I speak happened on Sunday. A fuckhead Leftard (age 41) used his car to do a hit and run on a 18 year old kid…

This fucking scumbag had the audacity to say he was ‘in fear of his life’ and was somehow justified in squishing a kid. He was unsurprisingly intoxicated (DUI) when he did it… so IMO, the very fact that not only does this guy run over and kill a kid ‘from the other side of the political spectrum’ he openly admits it and then gets bonded out.

Meanwhile, the January 6th Trespassers (misdemeanor at best) sit rotting the fuck away being tortured by the fucking nigger guards, who by all reports have been ‘encouraged to reeducate the vile rayyyyyycist Republican bastards’… I also think that’s a BIG reason they’re not letting anyone out… if word gets out for really reelz on just how fucked up the J6 kids are being treated, Lynch Mobs might just actually make a reappearance. Any bets that the few who got released are forced to sign some chickenshit Ironclad Nondisclosure Act to stay out of the hoosegow?
No takers? Yeah… I thought so too.
They hate us and want us dead
It can’t be said enough, and now? In North Dakota, which is possibly the. last. place. I’d thought I’d ever see some fucktardation like that happen? If that happened there, it sure as hell is going to spread, especially if things start getting tight(er) over the next few. Stay strapped or get clapped and be the Gray Man with a Head on a Swivel.
GOING to spread? Dude, this latest of many incidents IS the spread, the pluperfect example of what “it spreading” looks like.
It’s all around us; we can’t run, we can’t hide, we can’t pretend it isn’t really happening, or that it CAN’T happen. Not anymore, we can’t. Hideous as it surely is, this is now reality for each and every Real American, wherever he or she might reside, explicitly endorsed by no less wrongly-exalted a personage than the corrupt, wet-brained, feeble rutabaga currently passing as the “American” “***pResident.***”

Try as I might, and I am, I can conjure no good reason why this murdering excrescence should be allowed to survive to see the opening day of his “trial.” I assure you without hesitation that, should any shitlib even attempt to do such a thing to my child, I would do absolutely everything in my power to see to it that a spell in prison would be the very LAST thing he needed to worry about. All in all, this seems like the perfect occasion for another Captain Mal rerun, I do believe.

Evil, or mad?

The headline and sub-hed really do say it all.

Trans Mega-Ta-Tas In Clown World Canada
Shop class teacher now says he’s a woman — and wears plastic megaboobs to school. Diversity!

Do remember the CF Rule: unless and until this creature gets his wang chopped off, he’s not a transsexual, he’s a transvestite.

We are ruled by insane people. I mean that literally: we have created a society in which everyone has to bend over backwards to accommodate the insane. Like that man above, a transgendered woman who wears massive prosthetic tits to his job AS A HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER in Canada. Reduxx, the feminist online magazine, writes:

The media has been confirmed as originating from Oakville Trafalgar High School in Oakville, Ontario.

The man seen in the photos and videos is a Manufacturing Technology instructor who allegedly began identifying as a woman last year. The teacher now goes by the name Kayla Lemieux.

Look at this lunatic:

By all means, do. I can’t remember when I’ve ever laughed so hard. Onwards.

The Toronto Sun reports that the school is going to stand by the teacher:

In fact, Shuttleworth said the employee will be supported, adding “the teacher is completely accepted and welcomed into the school community as far as the staff is concerned.”

We live in a crazy society that is increasingly not worth defending. Why on earth do we allow disturbed and perverted people among us to have their way? Why do we defer to them, instead of expecting them to conform reasonably to expectations. That man ought to be told to take his plastic megatits out, or resign. Why is that unreasonable?

I cannot wait for the backlash. Cannot wait. The scary thing is … there might never be a backlash. We might be so damned demoralized as a people that we just accept it and move on.

Sadly, it looks more and more as if that might be the way to bet. Kunstler holds that there’s more than mere mental illness in play here.

Who knew that the glorious George Jetson future would tip into a neo-medieval religious frenzy and, more to the point, one deriving its dark energy from the demonic and Satanic? You are asked to swallow ever-greater absurdities, destroying your self-respect because you know that you are a coward for not standing up to this host of degenerates.

The USA’s Democratic Party of Chaos is behind all of this lunacy. It has gotten so bad that many no longer even follow the news of serial outrages by the regime led (nominally) by the empty vessel called “Joe Biden.” Millions of border-jumpers have crossed into Texas and Arizona the past two years. The New York Times / CNN axis of news doesn’t cover it because they want it to continue. Apart from the economic refugees coming across there are substantial numbers of demonically murderous people, many of them not Mexican, but from all quarters of the world, including places with a grudge against our country. Not a few of them are identified as international terrorists. Yet, in they come. The welcome mat is out for them — while our joke of a president rails against “white supremacist domestic terrorists” (another lie you’re supposed to swallow).

What is the answer when faced with a large-scale religious disturbance in society, especially one displaying all the earmarks of overt, archetypal evil? You call in an exorcist. That has been Donald Trump’s true role in this millenarian mega-crisis. He is seeking to cast out evil spirits afflicting this sore-beset national community and the evil spirits are frantic to stop his ministrations by any means.

He is, of course, a most untoward avatar in this war of good against evil. He came out of the infernal circle of New York real estate development. The assumption all along is that he must be tainted by dirty dealing with the mobs who ran the construction unions, but after six years of relentless investigation by the Southern District of New York and the Manhattan District Attorney’s office, the legions of hell came up with…nothing. How was this possible? Well, they tried their darndest, and now they’re trying again with some double-jeopardy maneuvers. The law, to these degenerates, is just an instrument of their own will-to-power.

Americans, except for the very old, are not disposed to attending church, meaning they are not reminded at regular intervals, and formal rituals, that good and evil exists in all of us, and that we have a duty to our sacred consciousness to tend to the right side, to “the better angels of our nature,” Lincoln put it. Ultimately, the Left will choke to death on its many crimes and we can return to being a people who confidently know the difference between right and wrong.

Sorry, but they aren’t going to just “choke to death on (their) many crimes” spontaneously, without effort on the part of Good. When has the struggle against Evil—which, make no mistake, is what we’re currently caught up in, Kunstler is perfectly correct about that—ever been resolved so easily as that? No, the Left isn’t going to just “choke to death” unaided. They’ll have to be strangled.

Compare, contrast

I hope he’s mistaken, but I fear he isn’t.

At SteynOnline we no longer observe the 9/11 anniversary, for reasons I outlined last year:

The war is lost, at home and abroad. On the domestic front, we doubled the rate of Muslim immigration to the west and began assimilating ourselves with Islam’s strictures on freedom of expression and the like. The decade-and-a-half since the Danish Mohammed cartoons has been one long remorseless surrender on core western liberties. When a school teacher gets beheaded in the street, there is no outrage at the act, just a mild regret that he should have been foolish enough to provoke his own fate. Even the milder jests from the immediate post-9/11 era – the cartoon of the woman trying on new burqas in the changing room and wondering, ‘Does my bomb look big in this?’ – would not be published today:

In the broader society, our rulers quickly determined that it was easier to punish us than our enemies. The post-9/11 security state surely helped soften up western populations for the ChiCom-19 lockdowns, in which entire nations have been reduced to TSA-administered airports.

As for the war overseas, it ended with a military that can do everything except win handing the keys to Afghanistan back to the guys who pulled off 9/11 – and apologizing for the two-decade inconvenience by gifting the mullahs with some of the most expensive infrastructure on the planet plus an air force, approximately five assault rifles for every Taliban fighter, and express check-in for the forty-seven per cent of the Afghan population that apparently served as US translators.

I thought I could not despise the men who brought us to this pretty pass any more than I do. But here ya go:

CBS News has confirmed military prosecutors and defense attorneys are negotiating potential plea deals that could take the death penalty off the table for the five defendants accused in the 9/11 attacks.

That would be the hairy-backed mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his four marginally less hirsute co-conspirators. So, after two decades of leisurely legal jousting back and forth through, this is how it ends. Don’t worry, the plea deals are premised on the quintet being given “substantial sentences” – which one assumes means something less than life without the possibility of parole, else why not say so? In addition, the men will receive “treatment for alleged torture they experienced while in CIA custody“.

Oh, really? How about financial compensation?

Gotta hand it to KSM: He fought the law, and he won. He was captured in Rawalpindi on March 1st 2003, which is nineteen-and-a-half years ago – or twice as long as the First and Second World Wars combined.

If you were about to roll your eyes and sneer “Is there nothing this sclerotic pseudo-republic can do?”, hey, not so fast. Per MSNBC’s finest:

September 11 was a terrorist attack.

January 6 was a terrorist attack…

Both were attacks on America.

And we must seek justice for the latter as we did for the former.

Er, are you sure you got that the right way round? In the time it takes KSM’s lawyers to file a motion of reconsideration of their motion to continue the scheduling conference to schedule the reconsideration of their previous motion to continue, the January 6th “terrorists” have been banged up in solitary, railroaded into copping a plea, and led off to the Big House. It would no longer surprise me if the men who plotted the murder of the 2,977 good souls lost that day were out and strolling the boulevards of Jalalabad long before the 1/6 “insurrectionists” are freed.

Wouldn’t surprise me either, not in the least. But then, why would it? The Left despises us far more than they ever will their unlikely-seeming ally and confrere KSM, whose abiding hatred for America and individual liberty they share, if from a secular, libertine perspective instead of the barbarian-savage pseudo-religion one. And make no mistake, it’s the Left who are in charge here. “Desperate,” “panicked”? Sure, pull the other one, whydon’tcha. It has a bell on it.

Second look at “The Talk”?

Derbyshire proven right.

Last Sunday, a college couple, 22-year-old Adam Simjee and his 20-year-old girlfriend, Mikayla Paulus, were driving through Talladega National Forest when they were flagged down by a black woman having car trouble. If I tell you the good Samaritans may have been National Review readers, you can probably guess that one of them ended up dead.

As they were trying to fix the car, the woman, Yasmine Hider, pointed a gun at them and demanded they walk into the woods and hand over their phones and wallets. At some point, Simjee pulled out his own gun and started firing at Hider, wounding her. She shot back, killing him.

The reason I suspect the couple were National Review readers is that the “good Samaritan” ruse was one of the bullet points in John Derbyshire’s famous “The Talk: Nonblack Version,” which got him fired from National Review in 2012—standing athwart history and mewling, “Please like me, liberals.”

Derbyshire hadn’t even published the piece in NR.

He was responding to a spate of lachrymose accounts of black parents describing “The Talk” they have to give their sons, instructing them to be super polite to police officers—smile and say, “Yes, sir”—lest the officer shoot them to death for no reason whatsoever. (Ask any police officer, and they will tell you black arrestees, to a man, are the politest people you will ever meet.)

In the piece, Derbyshire issued exhortations about treating black people with “the same courtesies you would extend to a nonblack citizen,” but then listed “some unusual circumstances,” requiring extra vigilance due to “considerations of personal safety.”

The “personal safety” rules concerned only complete strangers. His point was that when you have no other information to go on, you have to rely on statistics.

Derbyshire’s Rule 10 (h) was: “Do not act the Good Samaritan to blacks in apparent distress, e.g., on the highway.” He appended links to stories like the one that began this column.

Coulter goes on to list a few examples, then quotes one of Derb’s more fierce detractors at the time (Slate’s Will Saletan) before deftly skewering him thusly:

Thus, his central complaint was: “Derbyshire thinks his data warrant his conclusions. But all his data references include the crucial term ‘mean’ or ‘average.’ They don’t tell you about the person walking toward you. They tell you what you can assess about the probability of danger when the only information you have is color.”

Yes, exactly, you complete moron. That’s the point, subtly indicated by Derbyshire stating that he was referring only to those occasions when you don’t have any other information about a person. (Do black parents giving “The Talk” remind their sons not to make assumptions about any particular cop walking toward them?)

Back in the halcyon days of Mayors Rudy Giuliani and Michael Bloomberg, we had one other fact to guide us: Criminals were in prison. Unfortunately for black people, a small percentage of their community commit a boatload of crime. But as long as criminals went to prison, New Yorkers could pass black men with little concern because if they were criminals, they’d most likely be locked up, not standing on a subway platform next to you.

Not anymore.

Which, to unanimous shitlib amazement, hasn’t worked out at all well for anybody. Go figure, huh?

Slut life

A story that’s about much more than just sex.

I Regret Being A Slut

Hey, I didn’t say it wasn’t about sex at all, y’know. Onwards.

I was first inspired to write this piece when a 19-year-old woman I used to wait tables with asked me: “Bridget, have you ever regretted having sex with a man?”

I laughed. “Yeah. All of them.”

That’s not entirely true. There was my first love in high school. And my first husband. But if I’m honest with myself, of the dozens of men I’ve been with (at least the ones I remember), I can only think of a handful I don’t regret. The rest I would put in the category of “casual,” which I would define as sex that is either meaningless or mediocre (or both). If I get really honest with myself, I’d say most of these usually drunken encounters left me feeling empty and demoralized. And worthless.

I wouldn’t have said that at the time, though. At the time, I would have told you I was “liberated” even while I tried to drink away the sick feeling of rejection when my most recent hook-up didn’t call me back. At the time, I would have said one-night stands made me feel “emboldened.” But in reality, I was using sex like a drug; trying unsuccessfully to fill a hole inside me with men. (Pun intended.)

I know regretting most of my sexual encounters is not something a sex-positive feminist who used to write a column for Playboy is supposed to admit. And for years, I didn’t. Let me be clear, being a “slut” and sleeping with a lot of men is not the only behavior I regret. Even more damaging was what I told myself in order to justify the fact that I was disposable to these men: I told myself I didn’t care.

I didn’t care when a man ghosted me. I didn’t care when he left in the middle of the night or hinted that he wanted me to leave. The walks of shame. The blackouts. The anxiety.

The lie I told myself for decades was: I’m not in pain—I’m empowered.

I lost my virginity at 17 to my boss at a restaurant where I worked. And a year later, I experienced my first sexual trauma. I felt damaged and dirty and I blamed myself. Everyone responds differently to these situations—I dealt with the overwhelming shame by becoming hyper-sexual and promiscuous.

The Culture was right there to pick me up and dust me off. I doubled down on being a proud slut and internalized the biggest and most damaging lie: that loveless sex is empowering. I basked in the girl-power glow of that delusion for decades, weaponizing my sexuality while convincing myself I was full of the divine feminine.

I was full of shit.

I told myself that because I could seduce a man, I was powerful. But as Perry says in her book, “…women can all too easily fail to recognize that being desired is not the same thing as being held in high esteem.” Deep down inside, I knew that to be the case. But as a defense mechanism, I crafted a man-eater persona. My mantras were rigid.

  • You can either have a career or a relationship—but you can’t have both.
  • Intimacy is creepy.
  • Motherhood and children are a trap.
  • Sex is only about power.

And there it is, right there in the above list, clear as crystal for anyone with eyes to see: this regretful lass wasn’t victimized, traumatized, and misled by sex. No, at the end of the day t’was Leftist cant that led her astray, manipulated and took advantage of her, and robbed her of both her dignity and her self-respect.

Those four bullet-points she cites are indeed a rigid mantra, but it isn’t one original to her, and she is by no means unique in having adopted it. Each one of those four lies long predated her attainment of the age of sexual majority; they were lurking in the proverbial “grey areas” of a sabotaged moral code just waiting for her to wander by, a trap baited and set by the Left generations before so as to ensnare impressionable, vulnerable young naifs such as herself.

Update! Meant to include this part, and almost forgot it.

I’m not speaking for all women. I know many women with a solid sense of self who happily have loveless sex. This piece won’t make them defensive. But a lot of women will read this and bristle, just like I did, when I used to read something that pushed back on the lie I’d built my entire identity around.

Or maybe you’re a trans or nonbinary person reading this, thinking “What quaint ideas about gender and sex this old trad con has.” And to that I’ll say, it makes sense to me that the generation of young women who have experienced and borne witness to some of the worst side-effects of unyoking sex from consequence and love that Perry meticulously outlines in her book, “rough sex, hook-up culture, and ubiquitous porn”—would take a look around and decide:

I’d rather be a man. Or more accurately, I’d rather not be a woman.

But maybe it’s the inevitable conclusion to the sexual revolution. Today’s youth are being fed an even more dangerous lie than the one that I was fed about loveless sex. I was told sex doesn’t matter. They’re being told biology doesn’t matter.

This is a tragedy.

No, it’s a crime—an abomination, an act of pure, unleavened evil, that’s what it is.

Tyranny trainees

The government is NOT your friend.

IRS Training Included Armed Agents Carrying Out Simulated Assault on Suburban Home

Well, of course it did. And why the hell wouldn’t it? Every good soldier knows that to be effective, an army trains for the enemy it expects to be fighting.

The training was featured in the 2021 IRS annual report, which shows agents at the agency’s National Criminal Investigation Training Academy (NCITA), which is located within the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Brunswick, Georgia.

Training also includes “physical fitness conditioning and use of force training, which includes firearms, weaponless tactics, and building entry,” according to the report.

“In addition to SAIT, NCITA assists in providing advanced training to special agents in use of force, firearms instruction, defensive tactics, and building entry.”

The training simulation is likely to prompt concern following the revelation of an IRS job posting that announced it was looking to hire people who are ready to kill.

The job ad listed one of the “major duties” of IRS agents to be able to “carry a firearm and be willing to use deadly force, if necessary.”

Oh, be assured that they’ll always deem it “necessary.” And in a less upside-down, inside-out, topsy-turvy America, liberty-loving patriots would diligently see to it that it WAS, too.

NOTE: In order to comment, you must be registered and approved as a CF user. Since so many user-registrations are attempted by spam-bots for their own nefarious purposes, YOUR REGISTRATION MAY BE ERRONEOUSLY DENIED.

If you are in fact a legit hooman bean desirous of registering yourself a CF user name so as to be able to comment only to find yourself caught up as collateral damage in one of my irregularly (un)scheduled sweeps for hinky registration attempts, please shoot me a kite at the email addy over in the right sidebar and let me know so’s I can get ya fixed up manually.

ALSO NOTE: You MUST use a valid, legit email address in order to successfully register, the new anti-spam software I installed last night requires it. My thanks to Barry for all his help sorting this mess out last night.

Comments appear entirely at the whim of the guy who pays the bills for this site and may be deleted, ridiculed, maliciously edited for purposes of mockery, or otherwise pissed over as he in his capricious fancy sees fit. The CF comments section is pretty free-form and rough and tumble; tolerance level for rowdiness and misbehavior is fairly high here, but is NOT without limit.

Management is under no obligation whatever to allow the comments section to be taken over and ruined by trolls, Leftists, and/or other oxygen thieves, and will take any measures deemed necessary to prevent such. Conduct yourself with the merest modicum of decorum, courtesy, and respect and you'll be fine. Pick pointless squabbles with other commenters, fling provocative personal insults, issue threats, or annoy the host (me) and...you won't.

Should you find yourself sanctioned after running afoul of the CF comments policy as stated and feel you have been wronged, please download and complete the Butthurt Report form below in quadruplicate; retain one copy for your personal records and send the others to the email address posted in the right sidebar.

Please refrain from whining, sniveling, and/or bursting into tears and waving your chubby fists around in frustrated rage, lest you suffer an aneurysm or stroke unnecessarily. Your completed form will be reviewed and your complaint addressed whenever management feels like getting around to it. Thank you.
