John Bolton talks 2024 White House run, says Trump support in ‘terminal decline’

Former White House national security adviser John Bolton reiterated Friday that he may run for president in 2024 — adding that he can beat his old boss, former President Donald Trump, to the Republican nomination because of the “terminal decline” in the 45th president’s support.

“I wouldn’t run as a vanity candidate. If I didn’t think I could run seriously then I wouldn’t get in the race,” the 74-year-old Bolton told ITV’s “Good Morning Britain.”

“I would get in to win the nomination and I would do it primarily on the basis that we need a much stronger foreign policy,” added Bolton, who has served in the previous four Republican presidential administrations.

Righteous shoot redux

Been halfway hunting around for the unexpurgated vid of the takedown of a feral niglet trying to rob everybody in a Mex restaurant in Houston with a fake gun, but no joy.

Until now.

Bill follows up:

The usual suspects are whining about the number of shots the hero expended into the armed robber, but the solution to that is to revise the law, not blame the shooter for protecting himself and the folks around him. Anyway, nobody ever prosecutes cops for shooting till their magazines are empty, even if the victim ends up looking like a pile of hamburger.

To which I responded in comments thusly:

BUT…BUT…BUT…BUT…why didn’t he just shoot the gun out of his haaaannnd?

Oh, how I just LOVE getting advice on proper use of firearms from people who have never even been in the same room with a gun, much less fired one, much less in a stress-shoot situation against a lawless, feral predator exhibiting malicious intentions towards them. Idiots.

Nice find, Bill. The feel-good video of the year.

And it surely is. Let the candy-ass Progtard hoplophobes and the “parents” of this no-longer-dangerous Dindu weep and wail away; for me, it’s exactly as the original poster of the vid said: Fuck around, find out. Kid didn’t wanna get his sorry ass ventilated, he shoulda stayed the hell home and kept away from better men than he’ll ever be. It was HIS decision to take a toy gun and do a little wil’in’ out ‘n’ sheeit, and his alone. Didn’t work out the way he thought it would, and that’s entirely on him. Tough shit for you, punk.

Righteous shoot

Another goblin bites the fucking dust.

This is why you don’t rob a man while he’s trying to enjoy his taco

Yeah, that perp is dead.

From Fox San Antonio:

A robbery suspect was shot and killed by a customer inside a Mexican restaurant on Houston’s Southwest Side. …

Houston Police said a masked man pointed a “fake gun” at customers who were eating and demanded their wallets and money.

The gun wasn’t even real!

This criminal mastermind lost his life by waving around a fake gun for taco money.

But if this good citizen is reading this: You’ve got to make a statement to the police, my man!

Police said all the customers, including the shooter, left before officers arrived at the scene.

“It would be great if they would come back to the scene and talk to us or call HPD homicide,” said Houston Police Lt. R. Willkens. “They need to give us their statements especially the individual who did the shooting and left.”

Even in Texas, you can’t just shoot a bad guy and then flee the scene!!

In a pig’s eye. Under NO circumstances should this Good Citizen (which is precisely what he is) “call HPD homicide”—no, not even in Texas. For one thing, he topped the now-room-temperature goblin as said goblin was walking away, with his back partially turned to said citizen. Remember: the cops are NOT your friends, nor are they on the side of anything resembling justice, civil order, or basic decency.

Worse yet, what we have here is a Whypeepo (a/k/a white supremacist insurrectionist coup-plotting Sacred Temple Of Democracy-defiling MAGA terrorist) taking out a blameless Dindu, entirely for shits and giggles. With all that stacked against Good Citizen, Officer Friendly of Houston Homicide will have Good Citizen slapped in durance vile for Murder 2 so fast his head would never stop spinning.

It’s truly sad that we’ve come to this, but the simple fact is that when law and order is allowed to disintegrate into utter meaningless—or actively encouraged to by TPTB, no less—then vigilante justice is the only justice Joe Normal can ever hope to get. And, well, here we all are. They’ve sown it, and now reaping time approacheth.

Coming-out party

Flaming RINO Adam Kinziger has finally burst forth from the Vichy GOPe closet, and is now fully a-swish right where he always belonged.

Adam Kinzinger Finally Got His Dream Job As A CNN Talking Head

CNN is working so hard to pivot from being the Never Trump network that its new corporate bosses just hired one of the movement’s most prominent cheerleaders.

On Tuesday, CNN announced the hiring of ex-Rep. Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill., who stepped down from the lower chamber this week after he declined to seek re-election in November.

“Happy to join team @CNN!” Kinzinger wrote on Twitter, where his moniker now includes the hashtag “fella.”

Kinzinger, a six-term retired lawmaker who now joins the network as a senior political commentator, spent years auditioning for the new gig as one of former President Donald Trump’s most vocal critics in the House. When Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney launched a futile effort to coral Republican support for the Democrats’ snap impeachment of the outgoing president in January 2021, Kinzinger was quick to jump on the bandwagon. The Illinois lawmaker was one of nine Republicans to join Cheney in her vote to impeach, and later became the second GOP representative hand-selected by Speaker Nancy Pelosi to be on the select committee ostensibly probing the Jan. 6 riot. First was Cheney, who led the Democrats’ panel as vice chair.

Kinzinger’s appointment led to more regular appearances on CNN, with the network obsessed with giving the committee round-the-clock coverage. His theatrics, complete with performative tears for the television during the panel’s first public hearing in the summer of 2021, now appears to have paid off. By October of the same year, Kinzinger, hampered by redistricting while his path was already paved for a CNN contributorship anyway, opted to forgo re-election altogether. This week, the ex-lawmaker finally completed his quest for paid TV appearances, and with it, his career on Capitol Hill.

Making him pretty much the same as the rest of the Capitol Hill swine, with both hands frantically grabbing all the gelt they possibly can after a too-long career in “public service.”

Congrats to you, Adam, for landing on a network now available exclusively at airports. You will no doubt enjoy an audience a cpl-three thousand strong every day, consisting entirely of the backs and shoulders of angry passengers stranded at the airport but relieved nonetheless that nobody can force them to watch CNN. I’m sure your profile, name-recognition, and popularity will soar higher than they ever before have been.

Schmuck.

20 Superheroes

Please note the absence of capes.

Dozens of prominent conservatives, including a former attorney general for the Reagan administration, released a letter Wednesday in support of the 20 House Republicans standing between Rep. Kevin McCarthy and his bid for the speakership.

“Months ago, these members made clear that this established way of doing things was no longer acceptable,” the Conservative Action Project letter said. “Rather than engage them in a good faith negotiation, Rep. Kevin McCarthy has instead maligned both the requests and the messengers. He has publicly and through proxies leveled attacks against members of his own party, including threatening to deny committee assignments for those who continue to oppose him.”

Some of the signees included Edwin Meese III, former attorney general for Ronald Reagan, Ginni Thomas, president of Liberty Consulting and wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and Jim DeMint, chairman of the Conservative Partnership Institute and former U.S. senator.

Composite pic of these true American heroes, screengrabbed off of GP:

The White Hats
God bless ’em all for standing strong and tall

God bless ’em indeed, every one. The spectacularly entertaining futility of Kevin’s Folly continued through today with a historic (most since 1859, I believe it is) eleven ballots held sans denouement and will pick up again tomorrow at noon, so as to allow all the august national “leaders” time to recover from their throbbing hangovers and hunt around in the closet and under the bed for whatever pitiful scraps of dignity they may once have had, if any. Aesop pithily analyzes the doin’s.

Much funnier than watching Moscow try to take Kiev, and almost as funny as watching Emperor Stumblefuck Poopypants try to form coherent sentences without crapping himself.

And for all the punditry that claims “conservatives” never conserved anything: HTF do you expect them to do that, when there are apparently only 20 of them out of 222 nominal Republicans in the House? (And that’s probably a high-water mark in the last 50 years.)

BTW, we note in passing, there is no requirement anywhere whatsoever that the Speaker of the House be a sitting congressweasel. Which means, just for giggles, that the Republicants (not a typo) could, if they so chose, elect President Donald J. Trump to the post, and there’s fuck-all anyone else could do about it. He would thus preside over the entire run of the 118th Congress in the House of Representatives, assign committee seats, decide what bills moved forward for voting, etc., yet without a vote himself on any bills.

Just for the comedy factor, it’d be a YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE win, while emphasizing the smallness and ineptitude of Emperor Poopypants to serve as the selected Fraudulent.

Just saying.

And I’m just agreeing, brother. Alas, with the willful destruction of the supply-chain and all, I fear the nation’s available popcorn supply is gonna wind up falling FAR short of demand before this all shakes out completely. Meanwhile, no money is being spent; no unnecessary, redundant, and/or meddlesome legislation is being passed; and the essential gridlock so wisely hard-coded into the system by the Founders remains in effect, for the nonce. For which blessing we can all be thankful.

Update! Close. No cigar.

It is clear that Republicans in Congress are upset.

They have every right to be.

But it’s McConnell, not McCarthy!

DUDE, embrace the healing power of AND, ferchrissakes.

Hitting the books

I am thrilled as all git-out to report that, after my having contacted him a day or two ago about the possibility of getting my greasy hands on one, the esteemed and estimable Oleg Atbashian of the wholly brilliant People’s Cube satire site has most graciously provided me with an ePub copy of his latest autobiographical book, Hotel USSR, for review purposes. I have two other books with pending reviews on my to-do list—Jonathan Fesmire’s unconventional, wild, and rollicking Bodacious Creed and the San Francisco Syndicate (done, and done—M), and our good friend TL Davis’s uncompromising, bare-knuckled Rogue, the sequel to his paean to freedom, REBEL: The Last American Novel. I’ll be catching up on this happy backlog of reading and reviewing in a trice, folks.

Biden Has Multi-Trillion Dollar Spending Bill Flown to Caribbean Vacation So He Can Sign It

That, of course, would be the phonus-balonus omnibus “budget” bill chockablock with Climate Change (formerly Global Cooling, formerly Global Warming, formerly The Weather™) “amelioration” grift, graft, and outright highway robbery.

The $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill passed last week will soon be on a plane headed for the Caribbean, so that President Joe Biden can sign it without delay while on vacation in the U.S. Virgin Islands, a White House official confirmed to Fox Business on Thursday.

The deadline to sign the massive spending package is Dec. 30, and the Bidens will be in St. Croix through the New Year.

Fox Business Network White House correspondent Edward Lawrence reported on Thursday that the omnibus bill will therefore “be transported to St Croix for POTUS to sign.”

On a chartered private jet, natch. Or so I’m assuming, that is. For all I know, the sorry sack of shit shanghai’ed a USAF F16, pilot, and ground crew to wing this vitally, critically, crucially important “climate change amelioration” package for him to wave his palsied hand over.

I dunno, though, could be that gargantuan set of swingin’ boy-beans on Bribem are what the hapless stumblebum keeps tripping over on the AF-1 boarding stairs every time he tries to get up ’em.

Ask a silly question Part the Eleventy Million Billion Kajillionth

A: Absofuckinglutely.

Should We Boycott the 2024 Election?
Maybe until the FBI stops directing our political process.

Republicans, no longer pretending to be the opposition party, just helped get the FBI a $600 million budget increase after the censorship bombshells conclusively demonstrated extensive bureau meddling in election-related speech. Every member of Congress now serving has won at least one election in the present era of FBI election manipulation. Some are probably beneficiaries. Should we be surprised that there are so few voices calling for it to end?

But maybe if we vote harder! Maybe the economic conditions, the memory of the riots of 2020, and dissatisfaction with the regime’s pandemic policy will lead the American electorate to wake up and vote smarter? If the FBI could stop a Democratic rout in 2022, why should 2024 be any different? Candidate quality? Don’t insult our intelligence. So Republicans need to run more candidates like John Fetterman?

But suspicions are one thing. We can say with certainty that our government interferes with election-related speech to the benefit of one party and to the detriment of the other. The FBI’s interference in election speech, in (and) of itself, is sufficient to make the elections noncompliant with international election standards. That is the first and most important reform that must be made or our elections cannot be deemed fair.

So why participate in an election that’s being manipulated by the FBI and other government agencies? In sham democracies, when the government refuses to adhere to international standards of fairness and transparency, the opposition parties have simply boycotted the elections.

The FBI censorship scandal is just the latest in a string of questionable actions by the Justice Department that have impacted our elections.

We can all recall that three months before the 2022 election, stories about  the FBI raiding Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago compound dovetailed with the January 6 committee’s effort to convince midterm voters that President Trump planned or directed the Capitol incursion. Just before the 2020 election, the FBI made news in the swing state of Michigan by claiming to have broken up a “plot” to kidnap Gretchen Whitmer, the Democratic governor. Revelations in the subsequent criminal cases exposed the caper as a false flag or entrapment operation, as it turned out that the FBI planned and financed the whole thing. The FBI exercised full control over the timing of the pre-election announcements.

It was, as Julie Kelly reported, “flagrant election interference.” One can remember Robert Mueller’s ridiculous probe, which used leaks to publicly harass the president through the 2018 midterms. In 2016, the FBI famously meddled by exonerating Hillary Clinton of a scandal involving the Clinton family foundation taking money from people seeking favors from the State Deparment when she was secretary of state. The FBI went on to launch a spying operation against candidate Trump’s campaign figures, including Carter Page, and shared classified details of that spying with candidate Clinton’s subcontractor Christopher Steele. (Yes, that happened. See pages 114-115 of the inspector general’s report.) The FBI’s election interference has had real historic consequences. Obamacare would not have been possible, for example, if the FBI had not unseated Senator Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) by framing him for taking a bribe.

Somebody should ask Joe Biden whether he’s willing to sign an executive order banning government involvement in moderation of election-related speech. The next time a hostile reporter tries to slam a dissident politician, maybe someone should retort with a question asking whether that reporter or her employer accepts money from the government. The practice of the FBI sharing information and coordinating with social media is totally destructive of its crucial independence from the government—especially when the FBI uses taxpayer money to pay for the requested censorship.

Sorry, no. Just…NO. None of us should be “asking Joe Biden” and the rest of his sleazy posse of fellow Swamp rats a gott-damned thing. Instead, we should be telling him, and them, a great many things—in terms strong and specific enough to leave no margin whatsoever for error, interpretation, or misunderstanding on anybody’s part.

We can prove government-directed censorship of election-related speech. Now that the FBI said it plans to continue or even expand these efforts, we have a choice to make. Do we legitimize the sham by trying really really really hard to overcome the rigged political forum? Or do we just boycott these sham elections until the FBI stops directing our political process?

I have a much better idea, in two parts which dovetail quite nicely and can be worked simultaneously without impinging on one another at all: 1) we go right on boycotting our ludicrously corrupt elections en masse, thus denying them even the flimsiest scrim of illusory legitimacy, trust, or value via our non-participation, while 2) we systematically dismantle the FBI and DoJ root, branch, and bough—until, as a great man once said, not one stone is left standing on another.

Yep, works for me.

Update! George Carlin says it for me, so I don’t have to.

White man’s burden

The Dark Continent was anything but a peaceful, idyllic paradise well before the first European Whypeepuh ever set foot on the blighted shitpit.

I confess I was quite skeptical about Gilley’s book, given the needlessly incendiary title. Defending German colonialism, given that any story of late 19th and early-20th century German history will inevitably be wrapped up in that country’s condemnable behavior in two world wars, seems a curious intellectual enterprise for a professional academic (and for readers with more liberal sensitivities, it’s likely to be downright offensive). Not only that, but in a time when America’s post-Cold War foreign policy has been defined by constant overreach that has exacerbated various crises (e.g. regional political instability, anti-American Islamic extremism, migration), it seems a bit tone-deaf to be arguing that Western intervention around the world — especially when the West’s power is diminishing — is something to be encouraged.

Nevertheless, regardless of the strength of Gilley’s defense of German colonialism, the story he tells, substantiated by extensive historical documentation, does quite a bit to undermine popular narratives in America about pre-colonial Africa and the African colonial experience. For starters, the peoples inhabiting what would become Germany’s African colonies were far from innocent peoples living in harmony with each other and nature. Human sacrifice was common among at least one of the tribes of Cameroon. Slavery was common across both Namibia (southwest Africa) and what would become the colony of German East Africa (present-day Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, and part of Mozambique).

The Nama and Herero peoples, both of whom had migrated to Namibia only a generation before the Germans (and displaced other indigenous African tribes such as the Damara people in the process), were engaged in bloody, genocidal warfare. In 1850, the Nama massacred a fifth of the Herero population in a single day. The Herero raided native Damara and Saan villages, killing all but the young and strong, whom they exploited as slaves. Many escaped to the Germans. Writes Gilley: “Even if left to their own devices, the Herero and Nama would not have lived in idyllic bliss tending healthy herds of cattle and hosting multiethnic community barbecues.”

Our anti-Western conceptions of colonial Africa are equally misinformed. In 1904, a policy in German East Africa decreed that all children born to slaves beginning in 1906 were free. Moreover, between 1891 and 1912, more than 50,000 slaves in the colony were freed by legal, social, and financial means. By 1920, slavery had virtually been eradicated from the region.

German East Africa was also environmentally conscious, codifying laws prohibiting unlicensed elephant hunting and creating the first game reserves. It promoted education by natives: By 1910, there were more than 4,000 students in state schools. “The Germans have accomplished marvels,” noted a 1924 British report on local education initiatives. The education system in German colonies provided instruction in local histories, cultures, and geographies, as well as technical subjects common in German curricula. Because of this, local language media prospered. “German transformed Swahili from a coastal language of Muslim elites to the lingua franca for the future country of Tanzania,” writes Gilley.

The Germans provided free and accessible medical care for many Africans. They engaged in extensive agricultural and infrastructure projects in Namibia, including roads, railways, water holes, and port facilities. A German scientist developed a vaccine that saved native cattle from a catastrophic illness. The Germans built a 1,250-kilometer railway linking Lake Tanganyika to Dar es Salaam, which to this day “remains the lifeblood of Tanzania’s economy and of Zambia’s trans-shipment traffic.” Economies previously based on slavery transitioned to coffee.

Africa’s most insuperable problem remains the same as it always has been: the horrid place is full of Africans.

But what, you ask, does Africa have to do with the recently-manufactured-from-whole-(kente) cloth “holiday” Kwanzaa? Why, not one single, solitary thing, natch.

Spanning from Dec. 26 to the first of January is Kwanzaa, the invented African American holiday celebrated solely by white liberals and clueless public school teachers. Overblown by leftist claiming the holiday has immense cultural significance, a survey by the National Retail Foundation discovered only 1.6 percent of Americans celebrate Kwanzaa.

The “holiday” was created in 1966 by Ron Karenga, who renamed himself Maulana. Karenga, the founder of the United Slaves, a violent rival organization to the Black Panthers, created the holiday for black Americans and derived the name “Kwanzaa” from the Swahili phrase “matunda y kwanza,” meaning “first fruits of the harvest.” That’s about the extent of the deep African roots the official Kwanzaa website claims.

Guess the extra “a” in Karenga’s dimwitted misspelling lends it extra authenticity. Or, y’know, something. Oh, and do be sure to thank the Germans, Ronnie, for bringing you the Swahili tongue you’re misspeaking, fool.

The history of the holiday and Karenga has been seamlessly suppressed by leftists who find the facts inconvenient. Since few know its origins, the current definitions of the celebration are usually nonsensical and made up, much like the holiday itself.

FrontPage Magazine’s Paul Mulshine writes that “the history of the founder of Kwanzaa has disappeared into an Orwellian time warp.” Indeed, CNN informs readers that Kwanzaa’s violent, racist founder was “a black nationalist and professor of Pan-African studies at California State University at Long Beach,” omitting his criminal and misogynistic past.

Karenga is currently a black studies professor at California State University, Long Beach where the administration is apparently untroubled by the fact that this radical racist is also a convicted torturer of women. Despite the troubling past of Kwanzaa’s founder, leftists continue to shove this fake holiday down America’s throat every Christmas.

Yeah, well, fuck them all to Hell and gone, as always. That said, what Kwanzaa celebration would be complete without a stinking-blotto Granny Boxwine slurring and slobbering her way around the stupid fucking word?

Heh. Well said, ya haggard old soak.

THAT’S how you do it

What I like to call balling the fucking jack, Jack.

Missouri mayor bans kids from attending ‘A Drag Queen Christmas’

A concert venue in the suburbs of St. Louis has barred children from attending an all ages Christmas drag show, as states have moved to restrict cross-dressing public displays.

The Factory in Chesterfield announced hours before “A Drag Queen Christmas” that no ticket holders under 18 would be allowed to attend. The production is touring 18 states with performers from the reality television show “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”

“We specifically in the City of Chesterfield have ordinances. Protecting minors and not allow[ing] minors to be exposed to certain types of entertainment of a sexual orientation, etc.,” Chesterfield Mayor Bob Nation told news outlet KMOV on Wednesday.

The cancellation comes amid a growing backlash against the production and other “family friendly” drag shows, which critics argue sexualize young children.

Drag events advertising themselves as “family friendly” have sparked 141 protests in 47 states this year, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) reported Friday.

As well they ought to have, the loathsome kiddie-diddlers. In fact, I’d be fine with something a goodish bit more, umm, kinetic, shall we say, than mere peaceful protests, myself. Naturally, the local gendarmerie was called out to “control” the protesters concerned over their kids’ well-being at the hands of sicko pedophiles and mentally-diseased groomers; to the disgust and dismay of every good and decent citizen extant, I’m sure John Law was most enthusiastic and energetic about protecting the pedos to the fullest possible extent from the justly-wrathful, fed-up parents of the young ‘uns these Groomer Clowns (h/t to Bracken for the dead-on nomenclature) confidently expect to prey on with total impunity.

Protests against “A Drag Queen Christmas” have swept the nation this week in response to viral social media videos of the production’s recent Austin, Texas, performance.

Independent conservative journalist Tayler Hansen recorded the performance, which features nude prosthetic body parts and simulated sex acts. One of the characters is named “Screwdolph the Red Nippled Reindeer.”

Oh for the love of Christ, they can’t even leave poor Rudolph out of their marrow-deep obsession with perverted sex?

I gotta admit, I did NOT see this next bit coming.

The presence of children at the Austin performance underscores the reason for the protests, said Gregory T. Angelo, president of the conservative New Tolerance Campaign.

“As a gay man myself, I remain flummoxed that LGBT advocates seem fixated on this idea of drag shows for kids,” said Mr. Angelo, a former head of the Log Cabin Republicans LGBTQ group. “It would not be the end of the world or of the LGBT rights movement if folks hit pause and focused on issues of real consequence.”

UNEXPECTED!™ Might this indicate an unlooked-for chink forming in the Gay Mafia’s heretofore-impermeable armor, perchance? Whatever the case may be, kudos to Angelo, who seems to have his head screwed on right, for a refreshing change. They would doubtless strongly disapprove, but it seems to me like the right time to swipe and update an old Pink Floyd line: Hey, creature, leave them kids alone.

Lock ’em up, lock ’em up, lock em ALLLL up redux

Go get ’em, Gov.

DeSantis’ COVID Vaccine Grand Jury Gets the Green Light From the Florida Supreme Court
On Thursday, the Florida Supreme Court gave the go-ahead to a request by Gov. Ron DeSantis to impanel a statewide grand jury to investigate potential wrongdoings related to COVID-19 vaccines.

The Tampa Bay Times reported that Hillsborough County Circuit Judge Ronald Ficarrotta will preside, with members to be selected from five judicial districts. DeSantis made the initial request on the 13th of this month, stating at the time that “there are good and sufficient reasons to deem it to be in the public interest to impanel a statewide grand jury to investigate criminal or wrongful activity in Florida relating to the development, promotion, and distribution of vaccines purported to prevent COVID-19 infection, symptoms, and transmission.”

DeSantis was a one-time proponent of the vaccines for certain demographics, namely senior citizens. However, he became skeptical of them over time, in particular because of the claims about their efficacy. The Associated Press reported that DeSantis contends that drug manufacturers had a financial interest in creating a mindset that vaccinated people could not transmit the virus to another person. According to the article in the Times, the scope of the grand jury will include:

…people and ‘entities, including, but not limited to, pharmaceutical manufacturers (and their executive officers) and other medical associations or organizations involved in the design, development, clinical testing or investigation, manufacture, marketing, representation, advertising, promotion, labeling, distribution, formulation, packing, sale, purchase, donation, dispensing, prescribing, administration, or use of vaccines purported to prevent COVID-19 infection, symptoms, and transmission.’

State Surgeon General and DeSantis appointee Joseph Ladapo has faced criticism for guidance that he issued in March that the risks could outweigh the benefits when it came to vaccinating children.

Which is, y’know, perfectly fucking true.

Stay the course, Governor.  Make ’em pay. Take these malefactors of great wealth down, all the way down, every last man Jack of them you can lay your hands on, until they’re left squealing in their mire like the filthy pigs they all are.

Exceptional

Comic Rob Schneider waxes serious.

I believe we in western civilization have departed from “The Age of Reason,” and are now falling into “The Age of Emotion.” We are in the process of trading critical thinking and logic for the excesses of ‘how one feels.’ Rational people are the new heretics who dare question it.

This “Age of Emotions” has it’s belief systems and superstitions that act as a religion. You are not allowed to question any part of it or you are excommunicated. At the same time the world is experiencing democracy fatigue. Which opens the door to totalitarianism.

And now with the help of big tech, government has at its disposal new enormous powers to control narratives & crush any dissent & to destroy people who resist or fight back.

Crisis after crisis will continue to be used to eliminate individual liberties

Andrea Widberg follows up.

Many Americans remember Rob Schneider from his time on Saturday Night Live in the late 1980s through the early 1990s, when he created several amusing characters. After leaving SNL, he’s had a decent Hollywood career, although he hasn’t had the fame his pal Adam Sandler has enjoyed. I hope, though, that Schneider will be remembered for something else. In a Twitter thread, he expressed his love for America and her constitutional values, especially when arrayed against the mindless emotionalism and techno-fascism that now threatens those values.

Schneider’s political trajectory was not foreordained. As a half-Jewish San Francisco Bay Area native and San Francisco State graduate (usually a sure sign of leftism) who then made his career in Hollywood, leftism would seem inevitable. Instead, Schneider is not just a conservative but also a proud American who understands and values America’s unique virtues and recognizes the forces arrayed against her.

Too many Republican politicians are afraid to say what Schneider said or, if they say those things, they don’t exercise their politics in line with those ideals or as a response to those threats. Many kudos to Schneider for his courage and wisdom.

Amen to that.

Sorry, don’t care

Let’s try something a little out of the ordinary here: a fisking done entirely via FIFY (Fixed It For Ya).

A man who allegedly entered the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021 is being persecuted by the patently illegitimate system without ever having committed an actual crime, is now being accused of conspiring to kill FBI agents Ordnungspolizei thugs.

Edward Kelley, 33, has been charged with conspiracy, solicitation to commit a crime of violence, and other charges committing acts of patriotism and righteous justice, according to a criminal complaint ginned up pack of risible lies unsealed on Dec. 16.

“Today’s allegations ineptly-contrived falsehoods that individuals sought to attack and hurt or kill FBI personnel jackbooted Stasi goons are sickening heartening and encouraging to any right-thinking Real American. FBI employees honorably insidiously perform their duties lawless acts of intimidation, violence, and soulless perfidy against guiltless Americans protecting the American public and upholding the Constitution oppressing the American public and flouting the Constitution and they should be able to execute these duties without threats of violence must be resisted at every possible turn, by any conceivable effective means,” FBI Amerikan Gestapo Director Christopher Wray said in a statement another of his regularly-scheduled attempts at misdirection, blame-shifting, and deceit.

It still just galls the living hell out of me that Trump ever hired this asshole in the first place, it really does, another of his myriad self-damaging bad decisions that both puzzles and infuriates at once. As for Herr Wray’s obnoxious, self-serving whine, I’m with Bill on that.

Yeah, yeah. Nobody believes your crap any more, Director Liemore. Anymore than I believe this faked up arrest has anything to do with the way you are reporting it.

You cloud people want a low trust society? Well, you’ve got one.

Indeed. May they have joy of their choice, and that right soon.

Church militant

We need more hardass clergymen like Dagger John Hughes, and fewer of the namby-pamby, weak-as-water shitlib sobsisters mainstream Christianity is currently burdened with.

We are not the first generation of New Yorkers puzzled by what to do about the underclass. A hundred years ago and more, Manhattan’s tens of thousands of Irish seemed a lost community, mired in poverty and ignorance, destroying themselves through drink, idleness, violence, criminality, and illegitimacy. What made the Irish such miscreants? Their neighbors weren’t sure: perhaps because they were an inferior race, many suggested; you could see it in the shape of their heads, writers and cartoonists often emphasized. In any event, they were surely incorrigible.

But within a generation, New York’s Irish flooded into the American mainstream. The sons of criminals were now the policemen; the daughters of illiterates had become the city’s schoolteachers; those who’d been the outcasts of society now ran its political machinery. No job training program or welfare system brought about so sweeping a change. What accomplished it, instead, was a moral transformation, a revolution in values. And just as John Wesley, the founder of Methodism in the late eighteenth century, had sparked a change in the culture of the English working class that made it unusually industrious and virtuous, so too a clergyman was the catalyst for the cultural change that liberated New York’s Irish from their underclass behavior. He was John Joseph Hughes, an Irish immigrant gardener who became the first Catholic archbishop of New York. How he accomplished his task can teach us volumes about the solution to our own end-of-the-millennium social problems.

John Hughes’s personal history embodied all the virtues he tried so successfully to inculcate in his flock. They were very much the energetic rather than the contemplative virtues: as a newspaper reporter of the time remarked of him, he was “more a Roman gladiator than a devout follower of the meek founder of Christianity.” He was born on June 24, 1797, in Annaloghan, County Tyrone, the son of a poor farmer. As a Catholic in English-ruled Ireland, he was, he said, truly a second-class citizen from the day he was baptized, barred from ever owning a house worth more than five pounds or holding a commission in the army or navy. Catholics could neither run schools nor give their children a Catholic education. Priests had to be licensed by the government, which allowed only a few in the country. Any Catholic son could seize his father’s property by becoming a Protestant.

When Hughes was 15, an event he was never to forget crystallized for him the injustice of English domination. His younger sister, Mary, died. English law barred the local Catholic priest from entering the cemetery gates to preside at her burial; the best he could do was to scoop up a handful of dirt, bless it, and hand it to Hughes to sprinkle on the grave. From early on, Hughes said, he had dreamed of “a country in which no stigma of inferiority would be impressed on my brow, simply because I professed one creed or another.”

Fleeing poverty and persecution, Hughes’s father brought the family to America in 1817. The 20-year-old Hughes went to work as a gardener and stonemason at Mount St. Mary’s college and seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Working there rekindled in him a childhood dream of becoming a priest, and he asked the head of the seminary, John Dubois, if he could enroll as a student. Dubois, a French priest who had fled Paris during the French Revolution armed with a letter of recommendation from Lafayette, turned him down, unable to see past his lack of education to the qualities of mind and character that lay within. This was no ordinary gardener, Dubois should have recognized; indeed, as he went back to his gardening chores, Hughes wrote a bitter poem on the shamefulness of slavery and its betrayal of America’s promise of freedom. Not one to forget a slight, Hughes harshly froze Dubois out of his life when he became prominent and powerful. Indeed, in later years, Hughes won the nickname of “Dagger John,” a reference not only to the shape of the cross that accompanied his printed signature but also to his being a man not to be trifled with or double-crossed.

And that he most certainly was, with big ol’ bells on. As I recall, Mike Walsh has written an essay or two about Dagger John, extolling his uncompromising, stout refusal to bend the knee to any earthly prince or potentate and meekly accept his fate as a second-class citizen because of his professed faith.

It’s easy to forget these days, perhaps, but even as recently as 1960 there were a great many Americans who questioned JFK’s fitness for the office of President purely because he was Catholic. They were strongly suspicious of the risk of what they called “popery” and “dual loyalty”—that, as a Roman Catholic, Kennedy’s primary fidelity would necessarily lie not with the US but with the Vatican. If that sounds eerily reminiscent of the accusations hurled at a certain ethnic group today, well, that ain’t no coincidence.

Read on for lots more about the life and times of a truly fascinating man; it’s good stuff, for sure.

Don’t let’s be beastly to the freakazoids

It’s their Bizarro World, we just live in it.

America, We Can Choose Not to Tolerate Weirdos
Somehow we got to the point where we’re expected to just nod politely when freaks, strangeos, and perverts turn up in positions of great responsibility. Well, that needs to change. Whether it’s some “non-binary” bondage mutant who oversees America’s nuclear waste betwixt bouts of luggage larceny or an Army colonel who – and yeah, this happened – masks up as a leather sex puppy in uniform on social media and who, along with junior officers, also dressed as carnal canines, forms what I guess would be an erotic litter. And then there’s the everyday parade of creepy groomer oddities teaching our kids – actually, indoctrinating them – who are so proud of it that they go post videos of themselves bragging about the gender confusion and woke nonsense they spread. Time to stop accepting the idea that we need to pretend weirdos are not weird.

You know, this whole live and let live thing has outlived its usefulness, not least of all because that concept never applies to us normal people who like family and church and not dressing up as OnlyFans Lassie. There is a big difference between sending the cops to break down the door of Colonel Colliecoupler’s kennel to roust the secret sex pack and refusing to let a grown man who thinks it’s cool to dress up as a bondage beagle and have sex with similarly costumed people lead American soldiers.

These are bad things, and people should not do them. You should not assume some non-existent sex and rip-off baggage, or bump paws with other people dressed up in Doberman drag, or come into a classroom with green hair, a bolt through your nose, and a desire to invent new pronouns so you can turn kids into baffled basket cases. These things are not okay, and we have no moral obligation to give those who do them jobs of great responsibility. In fact, through all of human history, until like five years ago, mankind understood that crazy people should not be empowered, and we got along fine without the contributions of dudes with mustaches dressed like Lola Falana swiping Samsonites off the baggage claim conveyor belts of every airport from LAX to DCA.

As is almost always the case, there’s a reason all this nonsense is being crammed down our gullets, and Doc Zero knows what it is.

This junk didn’t START during the pandemic – that’s when it was DISCOVERED by parents who looked over their kids’ shoulders and were horrified to discover what was on those remote-learning screens. Kids were hit with years of sexual and political indoctrination before that.

Outraged parents who formed grassroots pushback movements were stunned to discover huge batteries of political artillery were already pointed at their scrappy little bands. They realized they were belatedly joining a battle that was long in progress – nearly over, in fact.

Sexualizing children is important to the Left because it separates them from their parents. As we’ve finally been discovering, thanks to some courageous samizdat citizen reporting, sexual indoctrinators in schools almost invariably tell the kids NOT to talk with their parents.

That’s not just to prevent outraged parents from banding together and putting a stop to this offensive garbage. It’s psych warfare, deliberately alienating kids from parents, tradition, and community. Statist control is rebranded as a cool secret club kids are pressured to join.

As a matter of simple math and biology, populations don’t grow unless a sizable number of couples have more than two kids – and that growth isn’t healthy unless the parents stay together. It’s tough to have three kids unless a couple starts relatively early in life.

If people do follow this much-maligned, relentlessly savaged “traditional family” program, the result tends to be families that build generational wealth – both tangible property, and assets such as family connections, which are very helpful to young people leaving the nest.

It’s fascinating how much of “traditional morality” contributes to, or flows from, this simple need for young families to raise multiple children. Of course that makes sense, since those codes and customs developed over centuries of human experience.

The Left understands all of this, and deliberately attacks it at every point of stress. Reverse everything laid out in the previous tweets and you have exactly what’s happening in schools today, including the obliteration of childhood through sexual indoctrination.

There are good reasons those healthy family traditions have been relentlessly maligned and savaged for generations now, until the very idea of “family values” was dismissed with contempt. These people knew exactly what they were doing, and it worked.

It did at that, and dismayingly well too, at least to date. But as I always say, the Left sows the seeds of its own destruction simultaneous with each successive victory—victories which are reliably followed up by even more extreme, odious, and unacceptable demands than before. By attempting to sexualize and recruit America’s children, they’re going to generate a powerful backlash against themselves that they aren’t going to enjoy AT. ALL.
