Punch. Back. TWICE. As. Hard

Okay, just gonna come right out and make it official: this woman is my new hero.

Nicki Minaj Posts Phone Numbers of Reporters Harassing Her Family in Trinidad

Oh my God. I think I just came in my pants a little.

Singer Nicki Minaj is mad. She’s so mad she’s posting phone numbers and screen captures of conversations with reporters trying to get the scoop on her family members in Trinidad. Some of her millions of fans have taken it on themselves to harass the reporters as a result.

It all started earlier in the week when Minaj expressed her hesitancy over the Covid-19 injections. She told a story about a friend of her cousin in Trinidad who had a very bad experience following his jabs

Read the rest of it; it’s absolutely scrumptious. If this wonderful story doesn’t give you the warm fuzzies, I just don’t know what would. It’s about goddamned time SOMEBODY started throwing their bullshit right back in their pinched, sallow faces. I want to see much, much more of this sort of thing, and I mean NOW. Doxxing; torchlight protest marches right up to the very doorsteps of their private homes; all and every flavor of monkeywrenching, sabotage, and interference; public shaming and mockery; these and other stratagems must ALL be on the table for us as well as them, civility and forebearance be damned.

Our squeamishness about adopting the Enemy’s methods to be turned against him—the pious attitude that we are somehow too upright, too moral, too good to embrace the “dirty pool” tactics that have proved so very effective against us—simply must END. The long insistence on “taking the high road” has been our undoing. Time to try something else, something that might actually work. If we can’t overcome the blind Fauntleroyism which holds that prissy, effete high-mindedness is weapon enough to allow us to triumph in the gutter knife-fight the Left has been fighting all along, we are surely lost.

If you don’t believe that there can never be ANY measure too harsh, too distasteful or “unfair,” to be used in the eternal struggle to preserve liberty, then you’ve already been defeated, and your doom is sealed. When Goldwater famously proclaimed that “Moderation in defense of liberty is no virtue; extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice,” the Left’s reaction was frenzied, almost rabid—NOT because he was wrong, but because he was RIGHT. The frothing mania of Leftist condemnation reflects their abject terror that Goldwater’s flat, reasonable, and perfectly correct statement—a statement that Americans of the Founding era would have regarded not as the wild-eyed ravings of a madman, but as no more than obvious, and quite unremarkable—might resonate deeply with Normals in numbers too great for them to overcome.

Biden declares war on the South

Faux Jaux has now shattered all previous standards to take the award for Most Bitter, Spiteful, Vicious, and Cruel in a Tyrannical Role.

Joe Biden viciously attacked Republican governors over healthcare in a scathing tweet Thursday night, singling out the governors of Florida and Texas after his administration admitted it is slashing delivery of lifesaving monoclonal antibody treatments for COVID-19 to their states because of ‘equity’ with states with higher vaccination rates.

Biden (or whoever wrote it for him) posted on Twitter, “Republican governors in states like Texas and Florida are doing everything they can to undermine the public health requirements that keep people safe. They’re playing politics with the lives of their citizens, especially children. I refuse to give in to it.”

As TGP reported earlier Thursday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki defended the Biden administration slashing delivery in half of the monoclonal antibody treatment to Florida from a requested 70,000.

Newsmax reporter Emerald Robinson confronted Psaki on this and asked her why the Biden Regime is slashing doses of treatments sent to Florida when there is no shortage of supply to begin with.

“The Biden Administration is cutting supplies in red states by 50% – so for example, in Florida, they were expecting to get 70,000 doses this week which they say they need – they’re only getting 30,000 doses,” Emerald Robinson said. “And this is just not for unvaccinated people. In South Florida half the people who are seeking this treatment are fully vaccinated, so why is the Biden Administration cutting these supplies?”

Psaki smirked as she gleefully admitted the Biden Regime’s priority is to be “equitable.”

So, a government-run Covid death panel?

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis released a video statement following Biden’s attack, “I will fight like hell to overcome Biden’s cruel decision to drastically reduce lifesaving monoclonal antibody treatments for Floridians. We’ve seen steep reductions in hospital admissions due to early treatment efforts. It’s wrong to penalize Florida for his partisan bitterness.”

Accurate enough, Gov, but still a mite too soft-spoken to suit my taste. Let’s let your press sec try her hand at it, shall we?

DeSantis press secretary Christina Pushaw called Biden’s action, “pure evil”, “You are cutting off the supply of lifesaving treatment to Florida, Texas and other states that resist your tyrannical mandates. You are only hurting the everyday people of our states, and it’s all for your political agenda. This is pure evil.”

Ahhh yeah, there t’is.

Pushaw isn’t being unduly harsh or hyperbolic by saying this, either; Biden’s partisan assault against Southern governors whose staunch refusal to bend the knee and surrender their people to a tyrant’s whim pits their courage and patriotism against said tyrant’s patent lack of concern for American lives across the board, whether in Florida or Kabul. If such monstrous inhumanity, callousness, and indecency isn’t pure evil, I’d sure hate to see whatever is. More righteous fury from Pushaw at the link.

But fret not, sports fans; as Biden’s War On Freedom continues to heat up, America’s Governor has just executed an unexpected flanking maneuver that would have had Gen Thomas P Jackson himself leaping from his seat in wild applause.

Florida’s DeSantis Responds to Biden Limiting Florida COVID Therapeutics – Announces Monoclonal Antibody Purchases Directly From Glaxo Smith Kline
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis responded directly to the White House effort to kill Florida residents by withholding previously agreed shipments of Monoclonal Antibodies.

During a press conference earlier today, Governor DeSantis outlined the issues Florida is facing after the Biden administration instructed the federal offices of HHS to punish the successful therapy and recovery efforts of the sunshine state healthcare system. DeSantis outlines the purchase agreement that Biden intentionally violated and also the issues created by the federal government now blocking direct purchasing of treatment from the manufacturer.

Additionally, DeSantis noted he has held meetings with ¹GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) to purchase mAb shipments directly from the second source manufacturer in order to work around the roadblocks being presented by the Biden administration. DeSantis reaffirmed his commitment to stand in the way, and not allow Joe Biden to kill Americans just because he doesn’t like their politics.

I repeat: We cannot spare this man. He fights.

Strange bedfellows?

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Rapper Nicki Minaj reposted a segment from Fox News on Wednesday in which host and Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson supported her regarding her comments on vaccines.

Carlson defended Minaj over her comments encouraging people to do their own research and not get bullied into taking the COVID-19 vaccine. The rapper said that her cousin’s friend’s testicles swelled up after he received the coronavirus vaccine, which resulted in his girlfriend calling off the wedding.

“My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent. His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding,” the tweet read. “So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied.”

“It’s Nicki Minaj’s cousin’s friend’s testicles that are swollen from taking the vax, that’s the claim,” Carlson said. “But it’s not anything to do with the physical effect of the vaccine that makes our political class mad. It’s the last part of Nicki Minaj’s tweet that enrages them.”

Carlson said that “media and public health officials” didn’t like Minaj’s tweet because “they make their livings bullying people.”

When one commenter accused Carlson of being a “white nationalist,” Minaj said that she can agree with someone from another political party.

“Right. I can’t speak to, agree with, even look at someone from a particular political party,” she sarcastically remarked. “Ppl aren’t human any more. If you’re black & a Democrat tells u to shove marbles up ur ass, you simply have to. If another party tells u to look out for that bus, stand there & get hit.”

For Tweeting this dangerous, insurrectionist, white supremacist misinformation, Minaj has of course been summarily exiled from Dorseyville. But screw Twatter any old how. Sefton heartily approves of Minaj’s feisty riposte to her shitlib antagonists, as do I.

The last person I ever thought would be a voice of reason and offer even a glimmer of hope amidst the vast sea of dissolution, debasement and cluelessness would be Nicky Minaj…

For whatever it’s worth, even for just a few hours in a news cycle, Nicky Minaj finding common cause with Tucker Carlson is a life preserver in that sea of despair. Same goes for yesterday’s story about the joint BLM MAGA protest against the vaccine edicts. The beauty of the nation formerly known as the United States of America is that people could have wildly diverging opinions on even the most divisive issues, but in the end, the common denominator was respect for the other’s opinions and that the nation itself was the means with which to compromise or resolve those differences as best we could, the Civil War notwithstanding. Now, the issue is America itself. It seems as if after last January 6th, the issue has been decided, or at best is seriously in doubt.

And now we have people planning to gather in DC yet again to rally in solidarity with our fellow citizens rotting in the Garland Archipelago as political prisoners. Given the reasons why they’re there in the first place, I am filled with dread over what could happen at that rally. No doubt the FBI and the Junta have agents-provocateur in situ and embedded, along with the Capitol Police, to create yet another Reichstag Fire. To show up is perhaps to allow them to execute that plot and then really clamp down. To not show up is to concede defeat and admit that that they are indeed our overlords.

Forget about Trump. Right now we need an army of Nicky Minaj’s that throw out “woke” and are instead fully awake to just what the hell has been going on.

The “yesterday’s story” JJ mentions above just happens to be one of the multitudinous open tabs I was hoping to get around to someday, providing me with all the prodding I need to get it cleared.

Dems’ worst nightmare: BLM and MAGA activists jointly demonstrate against vax mandates
According to a Twitter feed from Leeroy Johnson, a group of MAGA and BLM activists joined together to demonstrate outside the Manhattan home of New York State Assembly member Linda Rosenthal, who is sponsoring a bill to make COVID vaccinations mandatory.  Johnson identified himself as an “independent photographer” and says he takes no sides.

The suspicion many African-Americans have toward the medical establishment has strong roots in the Tuskegee medical experiment atrocity, in which African Americans were left untreated so disease progress could be studied — in essence dehumanizing them and treating them as lab animals.

Sadly but unsurprisingly, the post goes on from there to lapse into the by-now obligatory tail-chasing in regards to what “impact” this single-issue alliance might have on voting, which misses the point by an AU or so at the very least.

Who cares? In my view, the part that truly matters isn’t how Nee-grows may or may not vote in the next guaranteed-fraudulent “election,” but the part I boldfaced. Finally, FINALLY, MAGA folks, Heritage Americans, Real Americans, however you prefer to label ’em, seem to have come alive to the potential usefulness of, shall we say, getting in their fucking faces and punching back twice as hard. And that’s about as encouraging a development as one could think of at this point.

I keep harping about the importance of re-instilling that appropriate sense of fear of their constituents into American politicians which is a non-negotiable precondition for the Founders’ Republic if it is to function properly—as vital to liberty as oil is to an internal-combustion engine. It is simply inarguable that our dimestore dictators have far exceeded their authority with the abominable (Not)Vaxx Royal decrees, and don’t appear to give a whoop in Hell about the opinion of their benighted subjects.

They need to be reminded, forcefully, that they are neither untouchable nor even all that secure inside their walled, guarded enclaves. Showing up to protest literally on their very doorsteps is a mighty fine way to drive that crucial reminder home fully—an excellent first step from whence Team Liberty can then up the ante however high it needs to go so as to achieve the desired result.

Update! The Minaj dustup just keeps getting better and better.

Fans of rap artist Nicki Minaj protested outside the headquarters of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia, after she tweeted her thoughts on the vaccine.

“Nicki Minaj told me the truth! Fauci lied to me!” the protesters chanted Wednesday, referring to White House coronavirus expert Dr. Anthony Fauci.

The fans were inspired by numerous tweets Minaj sent out, first explaining why she hadn’t gotten vaccinated yet, then defending herself against the furious backlash.

Among those bashing Minaj were MSNBC anchor Joy Reid, who called on Minaj to tweet support for vaccines for her more than 22 million followers.

Minaj responded by lashing out at Reid, calling her a racial epithet and recalling her controversial past with homophobic blog posts.

Minaj then tweeted a video of Fox News host Tucker Carlson defending her skepticism on Wednesday and had to defend herself against those who called him a racist and a white supremacist. She later claimed on her Instagram account that she had been suspended from tweeting because of her claims.

She also compared the United States to communist China in an Instagram video post.

“You can’t speak for the fear of the mob attacking you. If that doesn’t give you chills up and down your f***ing spine. This is scary! You should be able to ask questions about anything you’re putting inside your body,” Minaj said. “You can’t just innocently ask a question about something going in your body.”

It appears Nicki is a lot smarter and more aware than some people think.

Groundswell

Another LTC decides that honoring his oath outweighs sullying his personal integrity by staying in long enough to collect his pension.

Army Officer LTC Paul Hague Resigns in Protest – ‘Marxist Takeover of the US Military’
Army officer LTC Paul Hague has turned in his resignation after 18-19 years of active duty service. Though part of it had to do with the mandatory vaccines, it was also due to what he described as the ”Marxist takeover” of the US Military. He is the 2nd officer to walk away from retirement, i.e. USMC Lt Col Scheller, who was removed from his position and may be court martialed for his views. LTC Hague left voluntarily.

This comes as the Democrat chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Bob Menendez threatened to subpoena SecDef Austin for refusing to testify on the disastrous Afghanistan pullout. Gen Milley has been using every tactic he can to place blame for the debacle on others. Both of them have pushed forward talking points that are a death knell to war fighting and military cohesion.

First, and foremost, I am incapable of subjecting myself to the unlawful, unethical, immoral and tyrannical order to sit still and allow a serum to be injected into my flesh against my will and better judgment. It is impossible for this so-called ‘vaccine’ to have been studied adequately to determine the long-term effects…

I would like nothing more than to continue in the Army to reach my 20 years of active federal service and retire with my pension. However, I instead will join those who have served before me in pledging my Life, my Fortune, and my Sacred Honor to continue resisting the eternal and ever-mutable forms of oppression and tyranny – both from enemies outside our nation‘s borders, and those within.

These words are a strongly worded statement against the US Military under the Biden administration. LTC Paul Hague’s wife told reporters that her husband drafted the letter on August 23, but after revising it several times, did not submit it until August 30 and failed to change the date. He was focused on the use of the Covid vaccine as a political tool when she was asked about all the normal vaccines required for the military.

It is not easy for any officer to walk away from a 20 year retirement. That his wife is supportive is a huge plus to taking a stand against what has been happening in the military.

”We may be personally defeated, but our principles, never.” William Lloyd Garrison 1805-1879

LTC Hague’s statement can, and definitely should, be read in full at the link. A respectful doffing of the CF Chapeau to the good Colonel who, like his Marine colleague LTC Stuart Scheller, has not only taken a morally-righteous stand based on his beliefs and values, but has also bravely put himself at considerable risk of Deep State retaliation in the doing.

May God forever bless and protect you and yours, sir. Let the fine example you’ve set of what real patriotism, honor, and selflessness look like serve as inspiration to your fellow soldiers, and to every true American as well.

Update! NC Scout puts it bluntly.

On 19 June 1953, Julius and Ethel Rosenburg met their deserved fate.

Having been convicted of giving the Soviets critical information on the US’ technological developments in the decade just past the conclusion of WWII, they were very correctly blamed for the technological parity the Soviets quickly gained costing American lives in the wars that would follow.

We didn’t kill enough of them.

The Left has reveled in certain claims over the years, always running contrary to the interests of this once-great nation in every attempt at stymieing its progress whilst rotting away its very core. Very cleverly they understood that the 1950s era represented the pinnacle of capitalist achievement, juxtaposed to the rampant poverty of a broken post-war USSR. There were jobs, a roaring economy, great advancements in technology, and a properly run education that – gasp – met standards and produced giants.

The Rosenburgs acted against a nation and people they hated. Why else could one betray his nation, very knowingly culpable for the killing of his own countrymen? And yet, the Rosenburgs knew not directly the staggering cost of war. When it was discovered by the War Department that Rosenburg, an engineer for the Army’s Signal Corps, was a member for the Communist Party, he was fired, but he didn’t stop there. For the communist, Revolution is duty.

While the Soviets were adept at spy recruitment in that era, after all, many in the US infrastructure had well known communist leanings prior to WWII, they understood well that the source of a nation’s pride is its ability to levy war. Until the US military could be broken, there would be no hope of communist revolution in the United States. Having a Flag Officer handing secrets, or even so much as consorting with an enemy nation, would be unthinkable. The solution then is communist revolution within the ranks.

This leads us to the case of General Mark Milley, Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, declared Maoist under oath, academic adherent of communist revolution, and now the subject of accusations of contacting his Chinese Communist People’s Liberation Army counterpart ahead of a possible President Donald Trump asserting his Constitutional duty to the nation and declaring a fraudulent election what it in fact was.

A very easy case can be made here condemning this man to death. Nothing further should need stating; collusion with the Chinese People’s Liberation Army is rather blatant should these allegations be factual. That said, the book, by longtime leftist journalist Bob Woodward, should be taken as valid on its face by the very hubris that the Left continues to exhibit. Why should they hide? Who will prosecute them? By their own actions they have exposed themselves as thus. Milley deserves a firing squad.

But we should not stop there.

Damned skippy. Indeed, if we hope to excise the Leftist tumor from the body politic in any effective fashion, we MUST not stop there. Executing Thoroughly Modern Millicent for treason, while satisfying, would barely even amount to a good start on that daunting but vital project.

Still ON

Despite the despotic government’s ongoing efforts to supress all information, it appears the Australian trucker’s strike might be not just holding, but actually working as planned.

Bravo. Keep on (not) truckin’, mates! May your courage and determination be an inspiration to all who would be free from tyranny and oppression.

Global update! Many more instances, more of them than you might expect, of citizen resistance to tyrants can be found here. These are REAL news stories, so of course there’s no reason whatever to think you’ll ever see Government Media “journalists” reporting any of it.

It’s ON in Oz

Aesop follows up on my OzFasc post, with his characteristic, umm, aplomb.

They have moved from parliamentary democratic republic to full-bore Orwellian Communist dictatorship in about 0.2 seconds. Even Russia and China didn’t fall to communism this fast.

And this response is nominally to a virus, in a country of some 26M souls, which has killed fewer people there total than have died to date from it in just our own District of Criminals hereabouts (1,032 dead in Oz, total). Using COVID as a beard for this draconian over-reach is weak sauce: this is pure unquenched lust for totalitarian control, and nothing else.

Precisely so. Whether or not you bought into the initial Covid Death Plague™ hype; whatever opinion you may hold on The Virus itself, where and how it originated, who’s to blame, etc; even what measures are or are not useful to prevent getting sick or dying from it—there can now be no further disagreement amongst those of us on Team Liberty about at least one aspect of this disastrous mess: Covid has been used as a pretext for the unlawful and wholly intolerable assumption of authority and abuse of power by governments across the Western world. There is simply no credible argument to be made against that proposition anymore, if ever there was. There is no longer any point in trying to make it, and nothing to be achieved by it either. Unless you feel that making a damned fool of yourself in public counts as an “achievement.”

Whatever this was in the early going, it is assuredly NOT about science, public health, safety, &c. It is solely and exclusively about the two things it always sooner or later boils down to: power, and control. That really is all there is to it. So what’s to be done, then? Just this.

Their former government has now forfeited once and for all time, any further claim to legitimacy in anyone’s eyes, anywhere.

Commensurately, any former social contract between the government and the governed there, or any former allies, is irreparably broken.

Any action against that government is therefore entirely within bounds, not least of which for every member of same, from dog catchers to prime minister, and necessarily includes stringing them up by the neck, or putting same up against a wall and summarily executing them, or any lesser included response.

Open season, screw the bag limits.

That means wherever and whenever found, short of open and public renunciation of said government by any former members, and joining active resistance with the people of the Commonwealth of Australia to depose that government forthwith.

When a government flips so completely, and so rapidly, the deep rot was into the very bones of that republic, and moderation in the pursuit of liberty is no longer any virtue.

In short, in and for Oz,

IT’S OFFICIALLY TIME TO START SHOOTING THE BASTARDS IN THE FACE.

That’s about the size of it, yeah. Shooting Bastards In Face O’Clock is drawing nearer by the hour here, too. I can see no other way out of this mess, for Australians or for us. Aesop links to more on this somber subject from Peter at BRM and from Wilder, who isn’t feeling entirely sanguine about the overall situation.

Yup, things can get worse. Truckers wanted to protest the outrageous bans, rules, and mask mandate.

What did they do?

The truckers did it. But if you were an Australian, they tried to make it so you’d never know. The government shut down the traffic cams so you couldn’t see it. They shut down the truckers’ phones. They shut down their social media. They censored, in real-time, a revolt against the rules.

No surprise there; suppression of the truth is one of the most useful items in tyranny’s toolbox. Nonetheless, the striking truckers weren’t just spinning their wheels.

What we can be sure of is that the threat of big blockades on August 31, the brief blockade on the Queensland border on August 30, the huge number of people who protested outside their local councils on August 31 and the stated aim of doing so in support of striking truckies, has resulted (in) a tangible victory for Australians.

The South Australian government has backed down on mandating the jab for interstate truckies because truckies threatened to strike and people got out in the street to protest.

This tells us that governments are wary of growing public anger and will back down if threatened with serious economic and political consequences.

Yesterday’s protests have taken a serious toll on people. There were mass arrests, mass fines, and completely unnecessary police brutality against people who were simply standing still in silence.

A victory it was, albeit only a partial one, and nowhere enough to turn any tides or reverse any directions…YET. The crucial thing, the vital thing, is to not let up by declaring the war won after only the first successful engagement. Aussie’s truckers can be proud for having forced the SA goobermint to blink, and that’s definitely a win—for Aussie truckers. That’s a good thing, but it’s nowhere near enough. They must not let up; pressure absolutely must be maintained, until it’s a win for everybody.

The thing to remember about partial victories is: the more partial the victory, the more quickly your opponent will push himself back up off the mat, shake off the brain-fog to reorient himself, and start pummeling you about the head and shoulders all over again. The obstreperous palooka has to be put DOWN—flat on his back, until he’s been counted out and his corner crew carries him off to the locker room—before you should start calling the fight truly won.

The Aussie truckers strike was a good start, no doubt, with a fairly encouraging outcome. Hopefully, the truckers are savvy enough not to let their despotic government goons lull them back into complacency and lassitude with this narrow, selective, and easily reversible back-down.

There IS a real solution to this problem. It emphatically does NOT involve allowing a single one of the treacherous, arrogant, greedy, corrupt bastards to retain a position of ANY kind in government—NOT. ONE. As Aesop correctly said, a government that commits such heinous crimes against its own people has forfeited all claim to legitimacy, fealty, or the allegiance of its people—FOR ALL TIME. They cannot be allowed to skate with a blase “oops, sorry, my bad, didn’t mean it” and then allowed a second crack at installing and securing their tyranny. The reprobates controlling and running said government must be removed root, branch, and bough. Nothing short of a thorough fumigation of the House of Government will suffice to exterminate the pestilential infestation responsible for all the damage done. Only a clean sweep can possibly restore the faith and confidence of its people in their government and those who work for it.

I dunno, maybe we could call that “draining the Swamp,” something along those lines? Or has that nomenclature already been taken?

There’s yet another angle to the trucker’s strike story, by the way, which I will cover anon. I think you’ll like it; I definitely did.

A tale of two rockers

Compare, contrast.

Rock Legend Eric Clapton Says ‘This Has Gotta Stop’ In Anti-COVID Restrictions Anthem
Earlier this year, famed singer/songwriter/guitarist Eric Clapton spoke publicly about his negative experience with the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, which he called “disastrous.”

“I took the first jab of AZ and straight away had severe reactions which lasted ten days, I recovered eventually and was told it would be twelve weeks before the second one,” Clapton said.

“About six weeks later I was offered and took the second AZ shot, but with a little more knowledge of the dangers,” he continued. “Needless to say the reactions were disastrous, my hands and feet were either frozen, numb or burning, and pretty much useless for two weeks, I feared I would never play again.”

Clapton has now released a new song, “This Has Gotta Stop,” which is believed to be a vaccine protest song, though it seems to cover various themes related to COVID restrictions.

“This has gotta stop, enough is enough,” the song begins. “I can’t take this BS any longer.”

The legendary guitarist also references the impact COVID restrictions will have on children, and what the future holds for them. “Thinkin’ of my kids / What’s left for them / And then what’s coming down the road.”

But perhaps the most powerful verse is this: “Magna Carta, Bill of Rights / The constitution, what’s it worth? / You know they’re gonna grind us down, ah / Until it really hurts / Is this a sovereign nation / Or just a police state? / You better look out, people / Before it gets too late.”

There’s a vid of the new tune at the link, if you’re interested. I have to admit that I ain’t, much; Clapton is fine with me, and I do like some of his early stuff well enough, but he’s just never really set me on fire, let’s say. Give the man this, though: he’s one Englishter that understands freedom and the US Constitution one hell of a lot better than this decrepit old shitlib ever will.

Superannuated hyper-woke musician Neil Young, who is estimated to have a fortune of about 200 million dollars, is angry with musicians and promoters who are trying to make a living. Old Neil, who is legendary for jumping on every Leftist bandwagon that happens by, is terrified of the spread of Covid, and he is leading by example. In a statement published on his Neil Young Archives website Monday, Neil wrote: “Recently I pulled out of Farm Aid for fear that unprotected children may become infected with Covid by folks who went to the show, caught the virus, had no symptoms and returned home to hug their kids or someone else’s kids.” Yeah, can’t have normal human interaction. Can’t have music. All right. But not all of us have $200 million to get us by.

The virus that has Neil Young wanting to ban hugs and shut down the world has a 99% survival rate for most age groups, although it falls to 92% for the age group of most of the people who would want to attend a Neil Young concert in the first place. But Neil Young is terrified, and has found the root cause of the fact that far too many people are actually living their lives instead of cowering with fear in their living rooms, watching reruns of Friends, and ordering from UberEats. “I felt that we didn’t know what we were up against and we were endangering others, unprotected innocent children in particular,” he claims. “I know of tours that are out there and have to stop where they are and isolate in motels because one person among them tested positive. I ask myself, why are they out there?”

The answer chafes at the old multimillionaire’s socialist heart: “Money and business. These two need each other. This has been the American way for years and years. Now it has turned on the country in a new way.”

Of course. Some people are out there trying to make a living. Why don’t they just sit back and live on their royalties for a while, like selfless Neil?

This is a guy who once made an album called Freedom, but that was a long time ago. Now he sees people being altogether too free: “Folks see concerts advertised and think it must be OK to go and mingle. It’s not. These are super-spreader events, irresponsible Freedom Fests. We need Freedom to be safe. Not a bad example.”

Yes, Neil, way too much irresponsible exercise of freedom out there.

“We need Freedom to be safe”? You dolt, freedom has little, if anything, to do with safe. I won’t go so far as to say that the two are incompatible or contradictory, quite. But the acceptance of risk is embedded in the very idea of freedom; certainly, no people has ever won through to claim their freedom without taking serious risks to do so. Ol’ Neil Dung can shuffle on back to the old folk’s home, spark up a fat doob, and annoy his fellow geezers with stoned reminiscences of his long-past glory days from now on for all me. I’m with Ronnie: this Southern Man don’t need him around, anyhow.

An honorable man

LTC Scheller makes the only move that makes sense.

A Lt. Colonel in the United States Marine Corp announced on LinkedIn today that he is resigning his commission after losing his command over a public video he had posted criticizing top military brass for their actions in Afghanistan.

Lt. Colonel Stuart Scheller’s video attacking everyone from the Joint Chiefs of Staff down for their role in creating the Afghanistan crisis went viral last week. Shortly after the video was released, he was relieved of his command but still remained a Marine. Today, he announced he is resigning.

“Part of me feels like everything in the last 25-years of my life may have happened to bring me to this point right now,” he said.

Reactions from patriots since the video went viral have been mostly positive. Many tribute and GoFundMe pages have been set up to support him, but he made it clear that he has not set up a GoFundMe himself. He called for donations to go to the families of lost service members from the attacks in Afghanistan.

One comment in particular seemed to truly affect Stuart. A former commanding officer, “Lt. Col. Hobbs,” posted something on social media that prompted the latest video as well as his resignation.

“If Stuart Scheller was honorable, he would resign his commission,” Hobbs posted in a reply on LinkedIn, according to Stuart’s video.

Stuart became emotional and proceeded to announce his resignation.

“I want to make the announcement today,” he said. “After 17 years, I’m currently not pending legal action and I can stay in the Marine Corp for another three years, but I don’t think that’s the path I’m on. I’m resigning my commission as a United States Marine, effective now. I’m sure there’s more admin on how I’m supposed to do that, and I’ll work through that. But I am forfeiting my retirement on entitlements. I don’t want a single dollar.”

Obviously, Col Schiller, the USMC you loved and served in for so long exists now only as a fond memory. The current Corps, sadly, is no longer worthy of men of your caliber and qualities, and there is no place for you or them in it. I can but sit back in awe of your courage and integrity for taking the stand you have, and shouldering the burden of sacrifice you just did with your resignation. All good Marines will rue your absence; each should now do some soul-searching themselves to ponder where all this is headed, and what part they want to play in the days ahead.

Update! A thoroughly honorable man.

The maverick Marine fired after he released a now-viral video slamming the US military for botching the exit from Kabul, issued a clear threat to his aging superiors Saturday.

“The baby boomer’s turn is over,” Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller told The Post. “I demand accountability, at all levels. If we don’t get it, I’m bringing it.”

He also quoted Thomas Jefferson, saying “every generation needs a revolution.”

Scheller’s family and former troops say they’re not surprised the officer sacrificed his career in order to tell his truth.

“It takes real courage to do what he did and that was Stu all the way,” Juan Chavez, 33, of Valparaiso, Ind., who served under Scheller from 2011 to 2014, told The Post Saturday. “He was a magnificent leader, a breath of fresh air, who was always going to do what’s right, even if it goes against the grain.”

Scheller’s father, Stuart Sr., told The Post his son was “the real deal, a Marine’s Marine. People will follow him to the ends of the earth. He has put his life on the line for fellow Marines so putting his career on the line like this does not surprise us.”

Stuart Scheller Sr. said his son idolized his grandfather, a World War II vet who landed on the beach at Normandy, and always wanted to go into the military.

“He’s still on the battlefield protecting his men and women,” Scheller Sr. said. “It’s interesting that no one (in the military) has answered his call for accountability. Their answer was to fire him I guess. It’s a sad day for America.”

Yes, it is. But maybe a little less so than might otherwise be the case, thanks to your son’s courageous stand against the corruption, fecklessness, and ass-covering endemic in our increasingly-dysfunctional military establishment. Obviously, your boy was brought up right, and you should be damned proud of him.

A married father of three boys who lives in Jacksonville, NC, Scheller seemed to have had a brilliant military career before he did the unthinkable and broke rank with the Marine Corps. He received a Combat V for Valor and a Bronze Star.

But now he’s a hero to many in the military and among civilians for, as one person commented, “coming out with what everyone was thinking but was afraid to say.”

Scheller said some of his fellow officers, while supportive, urged him to take down the video.

“Obviously I didn’t take it down,” Scheller wrote in a later Facebook post. “I’ll offer this…we can’t ALL be wrong. If you all agree…then step up. They only have the power because we allow it. What if we all demanded accountability?”

More than 30,000 people, some of whom served under Scheller, have liked and commented on his video.

“Proud to have served under your command sir, we’ll follow you to the pits of hell and back,” wrote Zach Olbrys of Worcester, Mass.
Ryan Holland of Lexington, Ky. wrote: “I see a seat in Washington in your near future!! It was always an honor serving with you sir! Semper Fi!”

“It took big brass balls to do what you did…[knowing] it came at a huge risk to your career personally,” wrote Paul Zedalis. “An Officer with integrity…hard to find at the senior levels these days. My hat is off to you Sir!”

Mine too.

Done deal

In all honesty, we were never going to back Taiwan with anything more than a “strong statement” of condemnation, whether Zhou Bai-Ding was pretending to be “***President***” or not.

I’ve heard multiple rumors of an incipient invasion of Taiwan – incipient meaning sometime in September or October – from various sources. Some of them are flying around the chans, as AC notes:

There was an anon on 4Chan who claimed to be an insider at State, and he said China offered Biden a deal – they would tell him when the Taiwan invasion would begin, and in return he would not tell Taiwan, and he would promise to not get involved. Supposedly Biden took the deal, and the date is Sept 25th. Supposedly it will be two weeks of aerial bombardment, followed by a land invasion.

I’m very skeptical of that particular rumor, because I expect Taiwan to submit within 24 hours of the mainland launching an attack of any kind. Unless the Red Army begins with an invasion, there shouldn’t be any need for anything more than a relatively peaceful occupation.

While I have no trouble at all believing that the amoral, treacherous snake Biden* would make such a deal without so much as batting an eye, and think myself that China will indeed have been emboldened enough by the US show of supine weakness that was the Biden Bugout to be confident they can make their long-dreamed-of move at last with total impunity, I too find this particular rumor…ummm, not credible, shall we say. Bill puts it more bluntly.

Something may happen in September. That certainly wouldn’t surprise me, especially given the pathetic state of the US government and its military. But far more likely is the abrupt announcement that, after secret talks, Taiwan has agreed to a deal similar to the one Hong Kong got when the British Empire and its guarantees crumbled away.

The American Empire’s guarantees to Taiwan are now revealed as equally flimsy and precarious, and I expect the outcome to be similar. Certainly no other force in the world can guarantee Taiwan’s independence, and I think all sides now understand this.

Having made such a habit of floundering and flailing our way into (and then out of, tails tightly tucked) several brush-fire conflicts over the last couple of decades alone, it is now abundantly clear that there ain’t no way our paper-tiger military could guarantee Tawain’s independence either. Or anybody else’s for that matter, including our own.

Which is not necessarily the fault of the rank and file soldiery, of course, but that of its overlawyered High Command, along with a cringing, milquetoast body politic that can no longer abide war of any intensity or fought for any cause, and who faint dead away at the mere thought of aggression, conflict, and/or bloodshed.

Higher, for its part, works a lot harder these days at getting in the way of the boys on the sharp end to the greatest extent possible, with their absurd ROEs and their cringing over “collateral damage” and such-like, than they do at finding ways to kill and defeat the enemy. Although with the New Woke Model Army we’re busy a-building, that’s changing fast; the rank and file is becoming every bit as effete and inept as their mincing leadership. Which, given how things are going lately, might turn out to be a GOOD thing for the rest of us before all is said and done.

As for Taiwan, along with any other of our hapless allies who were gullible enough to take US promises to defend them at all seriously: Sorry, suckers, and so long. You’ve been hoodwinked, bamboozled, and are on your own. Like every small-time left-wing dictatorship, this one will expend way more time, effort and resources on subjugating and doing damage to its domestic population than it ever will trying to live up to its foreign-treaty obligations. Being of the exact same stripe itself, Red China’s dictators are fully aware of this, which bodes extremely not-well for Taiwan in particular.

*PLEASE NOTE: Any time I mention “***President***” Biden, especially to say he’s done this or will do that or the other thing, do be aware that it’s actually the puppeteer who has his hand up Faux Jaux’s shirt and is making his mouth move I’m really referring to

Resources for fighting mandates against COVID injections, masks, COVID tests

In the wake of numerous mandates for COVID-19 injections and mask wearing, there are ways to protest and fight back against such mandates, using some of the resources compiled below.

Haven’t delved too deeply into it yet, but at first glance it seems to be well thought-out and organized. A tip of the ol’ CF chapeau to ’em for the effort and all; it’s a good enough opening gambit, if a bit late. But we all know by now, or we should, that it won’t be enough. Alas, there’s only one way to end this—and it’s a lot more, ummm, kinetic, shall we say.

Shut ’em down

Looking for a way to bring a nation to its knees, force an economy to a dead halt, even topple a tyrannical government using one of the most effective, nonviolent, and quickest means there is? A truckers’ strike is your huckleberry.

Good on ya, mates, and Godspeed. More:

Citizens in Australia are now openly talking about OVERTHROWING THEIR GOVERNMENT and are openly coordinating a first-strike: A nationwide trucking shut down beginning August 31. NOTHING will be transported anywhere until the government comes back under citizen control.

Things are turning very ugly in Australia (and in New Zealand) as government public servants “order” the taxpayers who pay their salaries, to remain locked in homes, NOT TO TALK TO EACH OTHER, and a slew of other ridiculous “rules”  under the guise of a Flu-like illness they call COVID-19.

The people of Australia are fed up with this tyranny and they are now openly moving to forcibly remove the government. They intend to collapse the government by halting all trucking on the continent.  NOTHING will move by truck, anywhere.

Since everything, except electricity and natural gas, MUST, at some point, move by truck, absolutely nothing will be moving in Australia beginning August 31.

No food. No fuel. No medicine. No chlorine to treat public water supplies. No supplies to hospitals. All of it will stop when the truckers strike on August 31.

The truckers know the actual power they have. Without trucks, a country implodes within a week. No country on earth can survive without trucks.

S’trewth, cobber. My brother and I have been discussing this for ages now, both of us wondering over the last year why US truckers haven’t already done it. That fed-up Aussie haulers like this guy are speaking explicitly about “removing the shit government” says one hell of a lot about the level of righteous fury the dimestore dictators have brought down on their own empty heads.

So be it, then—you wanted it, you got it, you rotten sonsabitches.

This is just the start of it. Have a little something, y’know, for inspirational purposes.

Carry on, lads.

Biden Bugout: the gift that keeps on giving

Loss of US military gear, civilian personnel, and all respect, trust, and standing in the world: costly. Ongoing mockery and humiliation of ****”President”**** Biden from every corner: PRICELESS.

A former British military commander in Afghanistan said he believes that President Joe Biden should not be impeached, as some Republicans have suggested, but rather court-martialed as a failed commander-in-chief for “betraying the United States of America and the United States’ armed forces.”

In an interview set to air Sunday evening, Colonel Richard Kemp, CBE, formerly in charge of all British military operations in the country, also told Fox News host Mark Levin that he believes Biden’s debacle of a pullout has humiliated U.S. armed forces and Americans in general.

Two GOP House members — U.S. Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia and Bob Gibbs of Ohio — have drafted articles of impeachment against Biden, though last week, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., would not commit to impeaching the president if Republicans gained control of the chamber in next year’s midterms, saying he did not want to turn the process into a political exercise.

“I don’t say this lightly and I’ve never said it about anybody else — any other leader in this position. People have been talking about impeaching President Biden,” Kemp said. “I don’t believe President Biden should be impeached.”

“He’s the commander-in-chief of the U.S. armed forces who’s just essentially surrendered to the Taliban,” he added. “He shouldn’t be impeached. He should be court-martialed for betraying the United States of America and the United States armed forces.”

It’ll never happen, obviously. But I love it just the same, and look forward to much, much more of it.

Hidin’ Biden: “I have seen no question of our credibility from our allies around the world”

I’m sure that’s perfectly true, actually. He sees only what his handlers allow him to, understands very little of it, and immediately forgets the whole thing the moment somebody hands him another ice cream cone.

Biden says he’s seen no ‘questioning’ of Afghan policy by allies – despite angry scenes in UK parliament
But despite Mr Biden’s words, plenty of European politicians have objected.

In the UK, former prime minister Theresa May was among dozens who criticised Mr Biden’s decision to follow through with former president Donald Trump’s exit plan from Afghanistan.

Similarly, Conservative MP Tom Tugendhat, himself a veteran of the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq and chair of the Commons foreign affairs committee, told The Independent earlier this week: “Blame shifting in the face of the predicted disaster that is Afghanistan today is extraordinary.”

Following Mr Biden’s speech on the situation in Afghanistan on Monday, British Conservative MP Simon Clarke posted on social media: “The more you reflect, the more you realise the speech POTUS gave last night was grotesque.

“An utter repudiation of the America so many of us have admired so deeply all our lives – the champion of liberty and democracy and the guardian of what’s right in the world.”

Not quite. In truth, it’s the repudiation of Amerika v2.0—the misbegotten, dysfunctional obscenity that replaced the America you’re talking about. And that phony “America” is deserving of all the repudiation that can be heaped upon it, and of a lot of other things besides.

And with that, the time has come for me to write something I never, ever expected to.

I understand that the commanding general of the 82nd Airborne Division has told the commander of the British special forces at the Kabul airport to cease operations beyond the airport perimeter.

Maj. Gen. Christopher Donahue has told his British Army counterpart, a high-ranking field-grade officer of the British army’s 22nd Special Air Service Regiment, that British operations were embarrassing the United States military in the absence of similar U.S. military operations. I understand that the British officer firmly rejected the request.

Emphasis mine, and nothing short of stunning, at least to me. With all the fissures, fractures, and structural weakness now being laid bare by the stresses this past week has subjected Amerika v2.0’s jerry-rigged foundation to, British soldiers are displaying some of the good old Limey mettle that saw them through the Battle of Britain and the London Blitz so long ago—the grit and balls-out courage that made Britain truly Great, that inspired the awe and admiration of the once-free world, but that afterwards appeared to have been forever lost. Good on ya, chaps, and may God bless you all.

The headline of that last piece says something very different about our own military “leadership,” alas:

US general tells British special forces: Stop rescuing people in Kabul, you’re making us look bad

Umm, no sir (spelled with a “c” and a “u,” mind), not exactly. From what I can tell, you accomplished that mission quite thoroughly on your own, with no assistance necessary from those stout SAS and 2nd Para squaddies. Further deets:

According to some reports, conflict is developing between US forces, who seem to be content to let potential evacuees make their own way through Taliban checkpoints to the airport (we are literally referring them to a web form Up to 10,000 Americans Remain Trapped in Afghanistan as We Face a Second Iran Hostage Crisis) and the British forces who are going out to bring in evacuees. This is from a freelancer inside Kabul Airport.

There are also unconfirmed reports that 2 Para has exchanged shots with the Taliban on some patrols.

Some thoughts on all of this.

The tweets from the freelancer mesh with the frustration expressed by the British commander on the scene. I don’t know anything about the journalist’s background, but bashing the American Army and puffing the British Army up as superheroes is an accepted journalism genre in Britain; keep that in mind. [I have some personal experience with 2 Para; they were the partnership battalion with my battalion in Berlin. The troops are tough…I might even say sort of thuggish. One of my friends was chatting up a German girl outside the Irish Harp in Charlottenburg. The last thing he heard before getting his ass kicked was, “F***, it’s a Yank!” He knew it was 2 Para because the people stomping him wore jump boots with their civvies.] There is no doubt that they are aggressive, and if their vision of evacuation is pulling people in while ours is waiting for them to walk through Taliban checkpoints, I have no doubt that there have been several frank and open exchanges of views. The cascading tragedy at Kabul probably hasn’t helped the working relationship, either. As with any terrific story, there are caveats. The actual veracity of the report of conflict between British paras and American airborne is being challenged.

I’ve seen and heard reports that, far from being “content to let potential evacuees make their own way…to the airport,” there is widespread and increasing anger in the US rank-and-file over having been told to sit on their hands whilst the Brits—even the French, for chrissakes—are going out and getting the job done.

Another interesting item I saw the other day said that British troops at Karzai airport charged with checking the IDs of British and Irish civvies before allowing them inside their perimeter were summarily denying entry to all Afghan nationals, regardless of any claimed status as employees, translators, and etc. In fact, the story said that the Brits were turning them down flat without even bothering to check any paperwork the Afghanis had with them at all, grounds for that being that UK subjects had first claim on the limited airlift capacity available to evacuate them.

Which seems to me to be the correct way to handle this mess. If these stories are accurate, which I hope they are, then the British military has its priorities squarely in order here, in a way that Americans can only envy. Then again, if our military and political “leadership” had their priorities similarly aligned—putting the interests of their country and its people first and foremost, as they should be—it’s doubtful any of this would be happening in the first damned place.

In any event, if the Brits are angry about all this, well, they’re right to be. ALL of us ought to be, and ought to keep that anger well-stoked, too. For my part, I intend to go right on hammering away at this story indefinitely; right now, my big fear is that the Biden Bugout will be encouraged to slink quietly out of the national Zeitgest and then fade away, just as the Benghazi blunder has done. Don’t kid yourself that it couldn’t happen, either. It most certainly could, and a lot faster than you might believe. It cannot, MUST not, be allowed to happen this time. The blaze of anger and disgust sparked in so broad and varied a portion of the population must instead be not just maintained, but intensified.
