It isn’t a lie if you believe hard enough

Yet another wonderful quote from one of the best movies ever, 1984’s The Pope Of Greenwich Village: You don’t even bother to lie to me carefully anymore, Charlie. It’s an insult to be lied to so obviously.

FAKE NEWS: Newsweek Claims Ted Cruz Lied About Antifa Burning Down Cities

On the same day Newsweek ran a fake fact check of a study by MRC Free Speech America about Google’s censorship of Republican campaigns, the outlet also ran a “fact check” Wednesday smearing Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), claiming he falsely claimed Antifa “carried out a year of fiery, destructive protests across the U.S.”

Cruz’s comments came Monday on ABC’s The View, when he countered co-host Whoopi Goldberg’s attack on the right as violent: “Did I miss an entire year of Antifa riots where cities across this country were burning and police cars were being firebombed?”

Writer Tim Norton correctly noted Cruz was likely “referring to the protests that followed the death of George Floyd in 2020,” and the subsequent destruction of property in cities such as Minneapolis and then “Washington D.C., St Louis, Kansas City, Oregon, Atlanta, Seattle and New York City.”

The whiplash continued as he insisted Cruz was “significantly stretching the truth, even if taken figuratively” even though “many businesses were damaged or destroyed as a result of arson” because “Antifa is not a formalized group or association” and Black Lives Matter inspired global calls to action for racial justice. Really.

In other words, Antifa isn’t real and BLM protests made people feel special, so Cruz was…lying?

Let’s unpack this schizophrenic gobbledygook. First, it was interesting Norton said Antifa wasn’t real seeing as how Newsweek tweeted this on November 2, 2020: “Antifa plans wave of demonstrations on streets as U.S. election polls close.”

And on April 24, 2021, Newsweek itself posted an article with the title: “Antifa Activists Vow to Keep Fighting—Even as ‘Terrorists’”.

And it wasn’t just them. ABC News wrote in May 2021 about the constant barrage of left-wing violence in Portland, saying that “residents have waning patience for antifa” with “[m]uch of the blame for the chaos, property damage and violence over the last year have landed on the self-described anti-racist, anti-facist far left organizers.”

If Wikipedia floats your boat, they compiled a list of over 60 incidents having resulted from Floyd’s June 2020 murder.

If Norton wants to debate the facts, it’s best he do some research first.

Debating the facts fairly and honestly is the very LAST thing shitlib propagandists like Norton want to do, of course. They want to browbeat, bulldoze, and silence defiant truth-tellers with temerity enough to tell it like it is, as Cruz was here. If it wasn’t for lies, shitlibs wouldn’t have anything whatsoever to say. “Schizophrenic gobbledygook”? Well, yeah. But it’s also part of a plan, a strategy, and Ted Cruz knows that as well as any other sentient soul with even a wee dram of integrity and observational acumen in ’em does.

Ain’t that America

I just LOVE this story, presented by BCE.

Now here in the Untied Staatz, we still pretend that elections matter. In truth, the only elections that actually -do- matter are the local ones…school board (need to fire ALL of them fuckers nationwide IMO, Jes’ Sayin’) Selectmen, the usual. Hell Sherriff is the most important elections at the local level that we have still. The others are all pretty much make-work. In fact most shit that needs fixing usually gets done on the local level via co-operation of the affected parties. Quite a few years ago, can’t remember which town it was, but in the Midwest, there was a town with a pothole issue.

Bad problems. The local Board of Selectmen or Council or whatever they called themselves said there was no money in the budget for it. That’d it’d take til the next year before they could do anything, meanwhile the populous was having tire and rim damage on the regular. The only ones happy with the situation was the local Tire King.

So, the locals got sick of waiting around. They went to Ye Olde Local Asphalt Company, and got with the owner, who did a deal to fill some of the potholes in exchange for some labor and some landscaping done by another Local Landscaping Company, who provided materials, while the locals provided the labor. Asphalt guy got his yard redone, the potholes got filled, the local Boy Scouts provided labor and got a Merit Badge out of it, and everyone was happy.

Not so much. The Township levied fines and a bunch of ‘other bullshit’ to include threatening the business licenses of the two companies. And by the way, did I forget to mention the Chairman of the Town Council was the owner of the local Tire King? Yeeeeeah. They even said that the patches were ‘substandard’ and needed to be removed.

Shit stopped cold when the death threats started getting reely reelz. The Sherriff stepped in and said it wasn’t going to fly…  Last word I heard was the Tire King went out of biddness due to a total and utter boycott, nevermind the local yoots who took to vandalizing the building with a certain enthusiasm on the regular…as well as the owner’s house. His family moved shortly after as well, as they were effectively shunned by all the locals after, as well they should be.

THATS what’s going to save this country BTW. Locals doing local things for each other.
And shunning? Local embarrassment? Shit that needs to make a comeback.
Shit worked.
The Stocks. Public Flogging. Humiliation. Shunning.
Banishment.
ALL weapons in the Arsenal of Old.

Amen to all THAT. Scrolling on down brings us to this:

Now, rant off. Went today and did a hangout with Mike from Cold Fury. Had a great time with him and his brother. We went and threw rounds for about two hours. The weather was perfect, a warm 76 degrees, the fall going in full ‘fall mode’ i.e. smelling the locals burning the leaves in the distance, the colors… hell –everything–  Literally a perfect day.

We zeroed our M-4s, and shot the hell out of my hushed Ruger 10/22. I got a barrel shroud from a company a while back that’s not a suppressor per se, but a shroud.  It -acts- like a suppressor, but isn’t. Even got the ATF letter stating as such. Could have fooled the hell out of me, all you can hear is the action slapping back n’forth on it. Quiet Quiet. It also doesn’t cost crazy like a suppressor… those things are retardedly expensive… nevermind the fiery hoops the Asshole DotGov wants you to jump through to buy what essentially is a hearing-saving device. Only issue I have is the patrol scope I dug out of my ‘box o’scopes’, the damned thing is soooooo out of whack, I’ll have to wait til I get home to my proper tools to remount it. It’s so bad, that I was aiming to the left, and the right target three feet away took the bullet. That or the barrel is irretrievably bent (hint: it ain’t).

The pistol shooting was good, except for my Glock-Notaglock (Poly80). The slide lock popped up a few times in the middle of shooting, locking the slide to the rear. Not sure if thats a spring issue or what. Hasn’t happened before, and the workaround was to just rest my thumb on it. However, that was a workaround, and again,I have to wait to get home. Probably look at a replacement there if needed. Might have been a one off, but it did happen a total of 5 times out of 40 rounds…that’s too many for me.

So going to see him again before I roll home.

Yes indeedy, and a good time was had by all, as the saying goes. Nothing quite like time spent out on the ol’ backyard shooting range on a nice fall afternoon. Situated where me and Jeff are here in the warm embrace of the Cradle of Secession, it’s perfectly lawful to go out back and pop off 5-600 rounds of various calibers in an afternoon; the neighbors are all of like inclination, and on any given weekend once one of us starts plinking, everybody else in the area joins right in with a quickness. It’s truly a beautiful thing, that’s what. The first section above fairly screams for this BTO chestnut as musical accompaniment, methinks.

Yeh, yeh, given my post title I coulda just as easily used John Cougar Mellonhead instead of BTO. But I never could stand that limousine-liberal douchebag’s crappy music, and wouldn’t want it stinking up the blog.

Return of the desaparecido

Put nothing whatever past these vile, perfidious enemies of all humanity.

An award-winning ABC News investigative reporter who was working on a book about President Joe Biden’s disastrous pullout from Afghanistan has not been seen in months after his apartment was raided by the FBI reportedly in connection with having classified material on his computer.

Rolling Stone broke the story about 52-year-old James Gordon Meek, an Emmy-winning journalist, on Tuesday. Meek was also former senior counterterrorism adviser and investigator for the House Homeland Security Committee.

The FBI conducted a pre-dawn raid on his upscale apartment in Arlington, Virginia, back in April and he has not been seen since.

The publication claims that sources familiar with matter said that he was the target of a federal investigation and that the FBI allegedly found classified information on his laptop during the raid.

None of Meek’s neighbors have seen him since the raid, the report said. “He fell off the face of the Earth,” one neighbor said, noting that they’ve asked around, “but no one knew the answer.”

The report said that it was unclear what story Meeks could have been working on that would’ve led to the raid, but it noted that the entire situation was “even stranger” because Meeks was finishing a book titled, “Operation Pineapple Express: The Incredible Story of a Group of Americans Who Undertook One Last Mission and Honored a Promise in Afghanistan.”

Lt. Col. Scott Mann, who was co-authoring the book, said that he got a call from Meeks earlier this year indicating that something was going on.

“He contacted me in the spring, and was really distraught, and told me that he had some serious personal issues going on and that he needed to withdraw from the project,” Mann said. “As a guy who’s a combat veteran who has seen that kind of strain — I don’t know what it was — I honored it. And he went on his way, and I continued on the project.”

Just par for the usual course, an unremarkable and quite ordinary part of life under an authoritarian central government gone rogue. JJ elaborates:

Maybe it’s just me but this Merrick Garland chap is coming across more and more as rather a dislikable fellow, nein?

It’s bad enough when the FBI/DOJ at the behest of the Deep State sabotage an election (Miranda Devine’s waiting for an apology is risible unless she’s being sarcastic) then stage a Reichstag Fire (Godwin, drink!) phony “insurrection” to entrap innocent law-abiding protesters and hold them as political prisoners to preserve the illusion that 2020 was legitimate and anyone who says otherwise is on the verge of being labeled “a clear and present danger” to America.

We’ve now already seen that reliably leftist organizations like the National Association of School Boards colluded with the White House to have uppity parents identified by the DOJ as potential terrorists for objecting at school board meetings to the mental and physical abuse of their children and demanding change. We know that corrupt organizations like the ACLU and SPLC gin up phony stats (as if they had to) that perpetuate the myth of a vast white supremacist organization — comprised solely of millions of conservative and Republican voters — set to overthrow the government, which in turn the DOJ uses as a casus belli and political cover to oppress dissent.

So now, an investigative reporter who dares write a book that is critical if not an actual exposé of the Biden junta’s disastrous Afghanistan bug-out debacle “vanished off the face of the earth” months ago, without a trace. Can you say “nacht und nebel?”

If I were a betting man, I’d say if this story gains traction, Meek will be found dead, buck naked (except for a MAGA hat) in a seedy French hotel, surrounded by two dead catamites along with a suitcase full of documents linking him either to the Mossad or the Saudi intelligence services. The photos will resemble that of the aftermath of the Mar-a-Lago raid. The cherry on top will be abject criminal scumbags like Peter Strzok spouting the party line that Meek was trafficking in phony disinformation. A “dossier” if you will.

Myself, I’d bet they’ve offed him already, and they’ll get away scot-free with it, too. There’s also been speculation here and there that Meek has actually gone into hiding, which would be the closest facsimile of a happy ending one ever gets in a tyranny as soulless, depraved, and morally bankrupt as Amerika v2.0 damned sure us. One thing we know for absolute certain: Americans can never again lay a remotely credible claim to being “free” as long as the FBI still exists, and remains perfectly free to run amok amongst its political foes without constraint.

The Reichstag Fire that wasn’t

Another phonus-balonus Congressional “investigation” winds down with a groan, not a roar.

The Broken Promises of the January 6 Committee
Questions about the role of the FBI and other prominent government agencies in the events of January 6, 2020 remain unanswered because they were not asked.

The Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol conducted its final televised performance on Thursday afternoon, an event dutifully carried live by every cable and broadcast news station. Representatives Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) and Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) now plan to exit stage left as their congressional careers come to an end—the former at the hands of disgruntled Wyoming Republican voters and the latter at the hands of gerrymandering Illinois Democrats. It’s only a matter of time before both find a new home at some NeverTrump outlet funded by leftist billionaires to play the role of the “conservative” useful idiot to the Democratic Party.

Since its inception, the select committee has wielded its unchecked authority not to fulfill the stated mission of finding out exactly what happened on January 6—a four-hour disturbance the enabling legislation refers to as a “domestic terror attack”—but as a vehicle to harass, intimidate, prosecute, and destroy the careers of Donald Trump, his aides, and his supporters. Former federal prosecutors for months have interrogated Trump White House officials behind closed doors to produce cherry-picked clips to bolster the regime’s narrative that Trump incited the “insurrection” by refusing to accept the 2020 presidential election as legitimate—a view still shared by the overwhelming majority of Republican voters.

Along with everyone else possessed of even half a lick of common sense, analytical ability, and integrity.

Questions as to the involvement of the FBI or other federal agencies remain unanswered and unasked. It’s unknown whether FBI Director Christopher Wray even testified. Remember when the committee came to the defense of Ray Epps and promised to disclose his testimony? That didn’t happen, either.

What about videos that showed police officers allowing hundreds of individuals into the building? Where are the disciplinary reports on officers who permitted the breach to occur? Or internal investigations into use of excessive force that contributed to the deaths of four Trump supporters?

Why not release the 14,000 hours of surveillance video captured by security cameras inside and outside the building on January 6? The footage would tell the complete story, not just snippets to support the regime’s narrative.

And on and on.

Of course, Jules knows the answer to her questions as well as anybody: because supporting the regime’s narrative was the sole purpose of the entire charade. That, and not a jot or tittle more. Thus:

In an overwrought monologue before the committee voted on her resolution to subpoena Trump, Cheney preached that she was obligated to the “country and the Constitution” to get all the “answers” about what happened that day. But her list of those culpable intentionally omits the powerful and the unknown—despite promises otherwise.

And therein lies the real truth about January 6, 2021.

The problem is one of simple mathematics, see. Inconveniently for the shitlibs and Swamp creatures (BIRM), two plus two goes right on summing to four, no matter how they flounder, flail, and connive to make it add up to five. Nobody needs to delude themselves that the long-threatened GOPe “investigation” will end better, assuming it ever even happens at all.

With “leaders” like this, who would want to follow?

Upon checking in over at Diplomad’s joint, imagine my surprise at finding he’d brazenly, audaciously purloined the title of his latest offering from me!

Nah, not really. Anselm’s post actually appeared the day before mine went up, so it’s merely a case of great minds thinking alike. At any rate, it’s a good ‘un.

Having an ever-harder time writing about US and Western politics and society.

Dangerous buffoons head the governments of the major Western countries. Right here, once the greatest place on earth, we have leadership at both the national and local level that would prove an international embarrassment if not nearly all the other leaders around the world also prove embarrassments.

No major Western country has a leader worth admiring or, at least, about whom one can feel moderately hopeful. Canada? Australia? UK? France? NZ? All led by morons of varying degree who have bought into the Woke nonsense destroying Western Civilization. They prattle on about equity, climate change, inclusivity, open borders, “diversity is our strength,” gender “identity,” etc. The only glimmers of hope come from heads of “lesser” powers: Italy, Singapore, Hungary, and–for now, though probably not for long–Brazil.

As though that did not prove enough to fill one with despair, these self-hating creeps seem determined to get us into war, the hot kind, including the use of nuclear weapons. We have ZOMBUS Biden, speaking to a conclave of Democratic donors, idly speculating about how close we are to nuclear “Armageddon.” Oh, his handlers immediately say, pay no mind, it’s just a passing thought, one of many pouring through the sieve that the man with his finger on our nuclear trigger calls a brain. He, or whoever writes his stuff, seeks to draw an equivalence between the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962, and the Russian war against Ukraine–rubbish of the most dangerous kind. This is even worse than when our “leaders” in the recent past kept finding an equivalence between every challenge they faced and Munich 1938. Making it all even worse, of course, is that nobody I can find trusts Biden’s leadership or managerial abilities. All those who hate Trump might want to reflect on how much more dangerous an international situation the West now faces when compared to when the “Mean Tweeter” held power. Now, we have chaos everywhere we look.

Russian leader Putin has gotten himself and his country and the world into a tremendous mess. To be fair, he warned us repeatedly that Ukraine’s joining NATO was a red line for Moscow. We, in response, sent Willie Brown’s mistress, Kamala Harris, to Europe to announce how we would welcome Ukraine into NATO. The Cuba analogy is reversed. When Moscow pushed up to our shores in 1962, we responded with the threat of nuclear war. Ukraine is Russia’s Cuba–on steroids.

What did our leaders think (“think,” who thinks anymore?) would be Moscow’s response? Invasion. Poorly planned, poorly executed, but, nevertheless an invasion, a bloody and brutal one, at that. The Kyiv bunch called in their chits; they, after all, own the Biden crime family. Billions of dollars in equipment and financial support poured out from the US treasury, headed for the Kyiv kleptos. Preserving the sanctity of Ukraine’s borders became the greatest moral crusade since WWII! Never mind the borders of Western Europe or our own. No! Those borders are evil and deserve to be violated! But, Ukraine’s? Those are set in cement! The whole fate of the world depends on those borders! No suffering by our citizens is enough! Turn the global economy upside down! It’s all for a sacred cause!

To be blunt about it, I’ve had little to no sympathy for Ukraine’s plight from Day One of this shitshow, seeing as how Ukraine’s gangster-government has functioned primarily as a Democrat Party ATM for years. Its corruption is endemic, deeply embedded, and apparently intractable. I do have some sympathy for the ordinary folks there who are caught up in this bloody maelstrom, yes. But when all’s said and done, if Putin wants to bend The Country Formerly Known As THE Ukraine™ over for a good, hard rogering, I couldn’t care less.

Movement, in the right direction

To say “it’s about time” in response to this very welcome and seriously past-due news would qualify as a monumental understatement.

BREAKING: 14 Precincts In Alaska Ban Voting Machines…Votes Will Be Hand-Counted
Voters across the country continue to raise questions about voting tabulation machines.

Concerns about voting machines were only worsened this week as the CEO of an election software company, Konnech Corporations, was arrested for stealing poll worker data in Michigan.

The concerns over voting tabulation machines have led to calls for machine voting to be suspended until more thorough investigations are done to ensure that data is not being mishandled and that they accurately tabulate votes.

In a significant move that could lead to similar decisions being made across the country, the Matanuska-Susitna Borough Assembly passed an ordinance that will prohibit the use of voting tabulation machines and make poll workers hand-tabulate ballots for the upcoming midterm elections.

To no one’s surprise, the local Powers That Be are dragging their feet.

Borough officials determined that it would be a “great risk” to stop using machines and mandate hand-counting for this year’s borough election because there would be inadequate time “to properly prepare for a change of this magnitude,” according to a memo filed with the legislation. Instead, those changes are set to be in place for next November’s municipal election.

“Inadequate time”? How so, pray tell? Do your fucking jobs already, instead of spending so much of your time and energy kvelling and kvetching about the one and only move that might possibly renew the electorate’s faith in American election integrity, whydon’tcha. Hire some people, buy some pencils, and hey presto! Bob’s your uncle, mission accomplished.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it til I’m blue in the face: ridding ourselves of any type of “voting machine” and returning to the paper ballot MUST be Job One, everywhere. Until such time, we’re all just chasing our tails, getting nowhere worth the going. Meanwhile, it’s business-as-usual jiggery-pokery on the DemonCrap side of the aisle.

A shocking investigation by Axios published on Thursday found that Democrat operatives are running 51 ‘fake news’ websites under the guise of local news organizations.

The company running the sites, Local Report Inc. receives its content from The American Independent, an organization run by Democratic operatives and founded by David Brock, who is also the founder of Media Matters, a far-left pressure group that tries to ‘cancel’ Republican politicians and activists.

The organization’s websites pepper in politically biased stories with reports about the weather and local news, according to the Axios investigation.

The group claims that its mission is to bring ‘local, fact-based news’ back to cities across the country.

If a Demo-rat ever did accidentally find himself trapped in a room with an actual fact, he’d shit himself to death from sheer fright.

Just in time for Christmas!

Kuenstler has the latest on the new Fauxvid vaccine, rigorously tested on eight (8) lab mice, every one of whom…ummm, got Fauxvid. Surprise! But the part I want to address involves another matter altogether, one that Our Side has been all abuzz about of late.

Following his Mouth-of-Hell speech last week, declaring war on half the country, “Joe Biden’s” prospects are dimming along with sclerotic circuits in his brainpan. The Party of Chaos is desperate to survive the midterm election. Therefore, look for them to grudge up an excuse to make them not happen. They need a “national emergency” and they’ll manufacture one if necessary. Wait for it.

Sorry, can’t see it. Not that The Enemy would refrain from cancelling the impending “election” out of moral or ethical concerns, mind. No, they won’t do it for a purely pragmatic reason. To wit: they don’t need to. That being the case, why should they, then? They pulled off the 2020 hijacking without a hitch; who even knows how many other times it’s been done over the years, but there can be no doubt that “Democrats” and “election fraud” go together like beans and cornbread. So far, it’s been a winning hand for ’em; why fold now?

Moreover, they’re cunning enough to know that perpetuating the battered and bruised charade of “elections” will far better serve their purposes than pulling back the curtain on exactly what they’re talking about when they sanctimoniously fulminate on “our sacred democracy,” an irreversible act that will affect the national state of play in all sorts of unpredictable ways, none of them happy-making, a risk-fraught throwing of a switch that can’t be switched back off again. Ever.

They know they need to keep the wool pulled over as many Real American eyes as possible, to make sure overly optimistic Milquetoast conservatives remain blindly invested in the idea of more-or-less “free and fair elections” for as long as they can. The transparent, brazen fraudulence of 2020’s farce was a blatant thumb in Election Integrity’s eye if ever there was one; the docile, supine non-response reassured them that a successful repeat performance was eminently possible.

Nope, I can conjure no reason whatsoever for them to cancel any elections, and every reason in the world NOT to. At least until they’re taught that it will assuredly cost them to do so, and I mean dearly.

People get ready

They won’t stop.

It’s Inevitable: Trump Will Be Indicted
Americans should prepare for the spectacle of Donald Trump pleading not guilty to charges brought by the Biden Justice Department.

It now appears inevitable that the Justice Department will bring criminal charges against the former president. FBI Director Christopher Wray’s stunt at Mar-a-Lago on August 8 is part of creating the optical illusion that Donald Trump is guilty of any number of crimes related to January 6 or the mishandling of secret government documents—or both. On Monday, the Justice Department subpoenaed another Trump White House lawyer as the legal momentum accelerates.

As evidence mounts that Trump supporters cannot get a fair trial in Washington—surveys of prospective jurors conducted by defense counsel show a heavy bias against January 6 protesters—D.C. District Court judges have denied each change of venue motion. Coverage of the January 6 select committee hearings undoubtedly has amplified that bias, especially for high-profile defendants such as members of the Oath Keepers. The committee has focused on the roles of both the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys, airing videos of their conduct that day and attempting to tie these alleged militias to Donald Trump.

A week after a former member of the Oath Keepers testified before a televised hearing in July, defense attorneys representing the Oath Keepers filed another motion to delay the trial and move it out of D.C. “The main point we have to consider is that you have a congressional committee that goes out and paints the Oath Keepers as white supremacists,” one defense attorney explained to Judge Amit Mehta, another Obama appointee.

Ahh, there’s another of those hunnert-and-ten-percent all-American names again, like I mentioned the other night.

Mehta rejected the argument and took umbrage at another attorney’s suggestion the committee’s work was political. “This is not a forum to express your political views or your views about the motivations of the committee,” Mehta scolded. “I don’t think they’re hosting the hearings just to interrupt this trial.”

He denied the motion; the first Oath Keepers trial begins next month. It’s possible the Justice Department will charge Trump for conspiracy for allegedly working with the “militias” to attack the Capitol.

This is the legal and judicial circle of hell now fired up to come for President Trump—a vengeful Justice Department run by Obama loyalists working with a weaponized FBI to bring criminal charges against hundreds of Trump supporters who then face the wrath of enraged judges of both political parties. There is no way out.

And at this point, there’s no way out for Merrick Lavrentiy (FIFYA—M) Garland, either. Democrats have raised expectations that Trump soon will be in handcuffs; failure to do so will result in a harsh backlash by their own voters this fall. After six years of promises, Democrats better deliver the goods on Trump or face intra-party revolt.

Americans should prepare for the inevitable—the unprecedented sight of a former president pleading not guilty to crimes he is alleged to have committed by a Justice Department run by his successor and potential rival in the next presidential election.

Fair enough, I suppose, as long as the filthy, fascist Do(In)J is fully awake themselves to the need to prepare for an appropriately, umm, kinetic response when they fit Trump for the shiny chrome bracelets.

Of course, Jules is right, although by pulling up short at “indicted,” she didn’t take the thought quite as far as she should have. At this point, can anybody still seriously imagine that Trump is NOT headed directly to prison, via any stratagem, pretext, or ruse the federal juggernaut can gin up for the purpose? In the immortal words of good ol’ Mike Ness:

Update! A few words excreted by the villainous, conniving scumsack who OUGHT to be facing indictment and a nice, long prison stretch instead of the blameless Trump.

The man who was one half of “The Lovers,” as President Trump called them, disgraced FBI investigator Peter Strzok, Mr. Russia Collusion hoax extraordinaire himself, has implored America to trust the FBI on the Mar-a-Lago raid.

Please clap.

Strzok appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe program to argue in support of the integrity of the FBI because they really mean it this time.

Host Joe Scarborough caused a spit-take when he said in passing that “we never believed” the Steele Dossier “from the start.” But the dossier turd was polished by Scarborough’s own guest and Strzok’s on-the-side honey, FBI Attorney Lisa Page. Joe’s bloviation continued and he eventually got to a question, sort of, with the pronouncement, “the FBI makes mistakes, the church makes mistakes, people make mistakes. Should this be any reason for Americans not trust what the FBI and DOJ are doing now in pursuit of protecting classified documents? [sic]”

Sit down, because you’re not going to believe what Strzok said. “Well, yes, Joe, absolutely the American public should trust what the FBI’s doing.” He continued, conflating the “Midyear Exam” — Hillary Clinton’s email scandal — with “Crossfire Hurricane” — the fake Russia Collusion scam — and the raid on President Donald Trump’s home. “You know, I think back on the year and a half I spent with the team looking at Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server. There was no concern, there was no outrage on behalf of any Republican.” Which brings to mind a question: Why would any Republican be upset about the investigation into the chardonnay-swilling Secretary of State keeping a non-government server on which she did sensitive government business at home? For all the world’s sophisticated spy agencies to read secret State Department files — and, of course, Hillary’s Yoga poses and Chelsea’s wedding plans? In that case, Republicans asked for an investigation, not an invasion.

“We used search warrants and conducted a very invasive investigation…It’s not that the FBI is targeting any one side or the other.” Scarborough sat stone-faced as Strzok went on, “What you see is the FBI going out on a day-in and day-out basis, objectively investigating allegations of law.” Joe never followed up with a query about the FBI raiding Hillary’s Chappaqua manse, which didn’t happen.

“Trust us,” is it? Die in a fucking fire, Government-man. The very fact that you still walk the Earth a free man is a shame and a disgrace, one which befouls the very concept of decency and honor.

Burn it down, salt the earth

Root. Branch. Bough.

The solution to the abuses we now endure is not just to subject the FBI to another fruitless inspector general investigation but to dismantle it completely. The bureau cannot be the focus of yet another congressional hearing. FBI Director Christopher Wray, like his predecessors, is more than happy to sit smirking while a handful of grandstanding congressmen and senators pound the table and yell on C-SPAN. Then he’ll jet off for a holiday vacation on a taxpayer-funded private jet while the same congressmen vote to increase his budget. Again.

No, the FBI must be rendered into component parts and distributed to the four winds.

The bureau has always had its problems and its detractors. Since the days of J. Edgar Hoover keeping his own “private” files on elected politicians and famous persons, the FBI has had a political streak. As an agency it has always been savvy about its reputation, bureaucratically out-dueling federal departments that sought to infringe on the bureau’s perceived preeminence in the fields of federal law enforcement and counterintelligence. But most of the FBI’s politicization had to do with maintaining its own administrative superiority and independence, not serving as muscle for a particular political party.

That’s no longer the case.

The FBI’s actions over the past six years make perfectly clear that the FBI is more than willing to serve as the enforcement arm of the Democratic Party. It serves as its patron’s shield in matters large and small. It exonerated Hillary Clinton for her illicit server. It raided James O’Keefe and Project Veritas when Joe Biden’s daughter lost her diary. It eliminated investigation into Black Lives Matter and other black identity extremists because those pursuits annoyed the Democrats’ Congressional Black Caucus. It refuses even to utter the word “Antifa” while churches and pregnancy centers are fire-bombed. It continues to cover up for Hunter Biden’s corrupt dealings with enemy nations, along with his indulgence in criminal prostitution and drug abuse.

But the FBI has also served as the Democrats’ sword as well. It knowingly laundered the Russian collusion hoax, lying in order to secure FISA warrants. It ambushed the president’s sitting national security advisor in a nonsense perjury trap. The FBI hunts down January 6 protesters while dodging congressional inquiries about the role of federal agents in provoking the incident. The FBI ginned up a fake kidnapping plot in Michigan to instill fear of right-wing terrorism, manhandled the former president’s lawyer, and shackled one of his former high-level aides.

And it has now raided the former president’s home under a mere pretext, while the Democrats openly crow on cable news about using a political prosecution to prevent Trump from ever again being able to serve in office.

Other attempts to rein in the FBI short of its abolition have failed. The FBI shows nothing but contempt for those authorized to oversee it. It routinely ignores inspector general investigations. It fails to prosecute or punish those who overtly violate established policies. It refuses to answer legitimate questions from Republican committee members. It doesn’t even respond to congressional letters of inquiry. It punishes FBI whistleblowers and seeks to purge from its midst those agents who aren’t in lockstep with its new praetorian guard role.

Never gonna happen, of course, for all kinds of reasons, not the least of which can be inferred from what I said last night: “At long last, Real Americans must recognize that our FBI problem doesn’t begin and end with the FBI alone; what we have here is, in truth, a big government problem, encompassing the damnable Federal edifice entire.” Even Reagan couldn’t eliminate the Dept of Education way back when, an agency of acutely dubious Constitutional remit which was only two years old at the time, nothing like as securely dug into the FederalGovCo corpus as the FBI is today. All that being so, I still think it’s important that a case be made for killing it off nonetheless, if for nothing more useful than an intellectual exercise, what Heinlein used to call “skull sweat.” Certainly, Shideler has constructed an airtight one here.

A few bad apples update! Panty raid!!!

FBI agents scoured Melania Trump’s wardrobe and spent several hours combing through Donald Trump’s private office, breaking open his safe and rifling through drawers when they raided the former First Family’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida Monday morning.

Oh, I just bet they did at that. Wonder how many sets of Melania’s criminally-dangerous frilly unmentionables wound up taken into Bureau custody strictly for private sniffing-session purposes back at Quantico by these pud-pulling Fibbie scumsacks?

An eerily prescient piece from Joy Pullman.

The FBI And DOJ Criminalizing Opposition To The Regime Is How The Republic Ends
A two-tier justice system is not a justice system. It is a totalitarian system. Its purpose is not justice but population control.

On Thursday, Barack Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder decided it was the time to bring the subtext of the Jan. 6 show trials and related domestic security state activities into the open.

“My guess is that by the end of this process, you’re going to see indictments involving high-level people in the White House, you’re going to see indictments against people outside the White House who were advising them with regard to the attempt to steal the election, and I think ultimately you’re probably going to see the president, former president of the United States indicted as well,” Holder told SiriusXM host Joe Madison.

Holder noted that the U.S. Department of Justice he formerly headed is working with the illegally constituted Jan. 6 Commission towards this goal. We know these entities are also working with the FBI, whose head bit his thumb at congressional oversight repeatedly in a public hearing last week.

An indictment of former President Donald Trump would be a breathtakingly authoritarian turn. It would amount to the U.S. security state refusing to accept “no” from America’s voters yet again. An indictment would be an unelected and unaccountable federal agency overruling voters’ two-time rejection of impeachment through their elected representatives.

This is the core danger of the administrative state: Its now open propensity to go rogue. It is apparently hellbent now on turning the United States into a banana republic.

The Deep State’s muscular veto over Who Will Rule is being flexed right out in the open with its implacable, fanatical, systemic persecution of Trump both during his nefariously derailed White House tenure and back on Civvy Street.

Democrats called Donald Trump a fascist, authoritarian, and wannabe dictator for chants at his rallies of “Lock her up,” referring to his opponent Hillary Clinton. At the time, leftists pointed out that imprisoning, interrogating, investigating, and otherwise using government resources to harass and prosecute one’s political opponents was the mark of tyrannical regimes such as Vladimir Putin’s and Adolf Hitler. “Democracies don’t lock up political opponents,” the Washington Post editorial board told us in 2016.

Anybody foolhardy, naive, or gullible enough to still believe that Amerika v2.0 is a “democracy,” please find a thick, plush towel to dry yourself behind the ears, mmmkay? It’s the most bitter irony I know of: the easiest way a “democracy” can be subverted, weakened, and eventually brought crashing down with the barest minimum of bloody conflict is to blind itself into torpor and inaction as the erstwhile Loyal Opposition is busily transitioning into full-blown Enemies, Domestic™.

That is still true when the ones pushing the interrogations, investigations, entrapments into committing felonies, show trials in unusual venues with no cross-examination or due process, early morning home raids, excessive detainment, and asymmetrical punishments are Democrats.

Sorry, no. The very moment when those “political opponents” first begin “pushing the interrogations, &c” is when said Democracy MUST act vigorously in defense of its own continued existence, else it will surely be destroyed.

Rigid adherence to principles and ideals such as “Democracies don’t lock up political opponents” when you are under assault by revolutionaries who are cunning enough to weaponize those very principles for use in overwhelming and toppling your noble democracy is hapless idiocy of the purest ray serene.

The Demonrats have openly proclaimed their intention to supplant the limited central government envisioned and created by our Founders under their Constitution and replace it with an intrusive federal monolith possessed of unlimited power, inhibited by no shame, compassion, or decency, answerable to no outside authority or ombudsman. Our Founders were completely direct and plainspoken about what must be the response of a free people to such clearly predatory depredations. Their prescribed remedy assuredly does NOT mention meticulously maintaining strictest observance of the full rights and privileges for turncoats who are no longer due the privileges and courtesies they long ago squatted and shat upon.

Cross the line from legitimate dissent into outright sedition, as a majority of the Democrat Party incontrovertibly has done for years? Man up, own it, take your lumps without cavil or complaint, then. Don’t act as if the concepts you’ve denounced and the country you’ve betrayed owe you anything more nor less than a fair trial, followed by a first-class hanging.

Trump under fire

To stand Sherman’s famous quote on its head: If nominated, he won’t be allowed to run. If he runs, he won’t be allowed to win. If he wins, he won’t be allowed to serve. If he serves, he won’t be allowed to survive the experience. As I’ve said before, Trump’s smartest move at this point would be to buy himself an isolated Caribbean island, establish a secure perimeter, install some crew-served weapons, post well-armed guards under shoot-to-kill-on-sight orders, and hie himself thither with a quickness. He did what he could for the betterment of his nation and his people, an abominable crime for which the vicious, foaming-at-the-mouth Leftard rabble will never, ever forgive him. The recent godawful J6 farce is but a foretaste, a mere sample of what they have in mind for the poor man. No reasonable person could blame him if he just washed his hands of the whole sorry mess and dedicated his remaining years to seeing to the needs, happiness, and physical security of himself and his family from here on out.

The people who really run the United States of America have made it clear that they can’t, and won’t, if they can help it, allow Donald Trump to be president again. In fact, they made this clear in 2020, in a series of public statements. Simply for quoting their words in an essay for The American Mind, I was mercilessly mocked and attacked. But they were quite clear. Trump won’t be president at noon, Jan. 20, 2021, even if we have to use the military to drag him out of there.

If the regime felt that strongly back then, imagine how they feel now. But you don’t have to imagine. They tell you every day. Liz Cheney, Trump’s personal Javert, has said that the 45th president is literally the greatest threat facing America today—greater than China, than our crashing economy, than our unraveling civil society.

That’s rhetoric, of course, but it isn’t merely that. It’s safer, and generally more accurate, to assume that your adversaries mean what they say. If you doubt this, ask yourself: When was the last time they acted more moderately than they talk?

And just what is so terrible about Trump anyway? I get many of his critics’ points, I really do. I hear them all the time from my mother. But even if we were to stipulate them all, do Trump’s faults really warrant tearing the country apart by shutting out half of it from the political process?

Love him or hate him, during Trump’s presidency, the economy was strong, markets were up, inflation was under control, gas prices were low, illegal border crossings were down, crime was lower, trade deals were renegotiated, ISIS was defeated, NATO allies were stepping up, and China was stepping back (a little). Deny all that if you want to. The point here is that something like 100 million Americans believe it, strongly, and are bewildered and angered by elite hatred for the man they think delivered it.

Nor was Trump’s record all that radical—much less so than that of Joe Biden, who is using school-lunch funding to push gender ideology on poor kids, to cite but one example. Trump’s core agenda—border protection, trade balance, foreign restraint—was quite moderate, both intrinsically and in comparison to past Republican and Democratic precedent. And that’s before we even get to the fact that Trump neglected much of his own agenda in favor of the old Chamber of Commerce, fusionist, Reaganite, Conservatism, Inc., agenda. Corporate tax cuts, deregulation, and bombing Syria: These are all things Trump’s base doesn’t want, but the oligarchs desperately do, which Trump gave them. And still they try to destroy him.

Again, why? I think it’s because, while Trump’s core MAGA agenda is decidedly not outside the historic bipartisan mainstream, it is well outside the present regime’s core interests. Our rulers’ wealth and power rise with open borders, trade giveaways, and endless war. Trump, at least in principle, and often in practice, threatens all three. The old America—the one in which Republicans cared about the heartland and weren’t solely valets to corporate power, Democrats were pro-worker and anti-war, and Bill Clinton and The New York Times could advocate border security—is in the process of being replaced, if it hasn’t already been, by one in which there is only one acceptable opinion on not just these, but all other issues.

Anti-Trump hysteria is in the final analysis not about Trump. The regime can’t allow Trump to be president not because of who he is (although that grates), but because of who his followers are. That class—Angelo Codevilla’s “country class”—must not be allowed representation by candidates who might implement their preferences, which also, and above all, must not be allowed. The rubes have no legitimate standing to affect the outcome of any political process, because of who they are, but mostly because of what they want.

Complaints about the nature of Trump are just proxies for objections to the nature of his base. It doesn’t help stabilize our already twitchy situation that those who bleat the loudest about democracy are also audibly and visibly determined to deny a real choice to half the country. “No matter how you vote, you will not get X”—whether X is a candidate or a policy—is guaranteed to increase discontent with the present regime.

People I have known for 30 years, many of whom still claim the label “conservative,” will no longer speak to me—because I supported Trump, yes, but also because I disagree on trade, war, and the border. They call not just my positions, but me personally, unadulterated evil. I am not an isolated case. There are, as they say, “many such cases.” How are we supposed to have “democracy” when the policies and candidates my side wants and votes for are anathema and can’t be allowed? How are we supposed to live together with the constant demonization from one side against the other blaring 24/7 from the ruling class’s every propaganda organ? Why would we want to?

More to the point: How are we supposed to get through the next two and a half years?

Depends entirely on how we answer a couple of simple questions: Do we intend to prevail? Or will we continue to settle for merely slip-sliding along, scuttling about with our heads carefully ducked down and eyes averted, quietly yielding the battered remnants of our liberty and our self-respect, hoping to escape the notice of the loathsome, brutish Power that seeks only our subjugation and, ultimately, our demise? Do we carry on as cooperative junior partners in our own degradation and abuse, or will we at long last rise up on our hind legs like men and say Enough!

Speaking strictly for myself and absolutely no one else, I see but one feasible way of getting through the next phase of this rapidly escalating conflict more or less intact. Our survival depends on a strategy that might best be expressed in the idiom of attitude and comportment: Boastfully. Aggressively. Obnoxiously, obstreperously, and ruthlessly.

The only way we get through the next two and a half years is NOT to draw in our fangs as we always have, but to bare them as menacingly as we can possibly manage. It should be made abundantly clear to our adversaries that, far from feeling either reluctance or dread at the prospect, our most burning desire has become to sink those fangs deeply into their flesh and sinew—to rend, tear, and gnash at them until we are bathed head to toe in their very life’s blood.

Figuratively speaking, of course. No need to close bodily with the filthy swine when we have such a wealth of projectile weapons at our disposal, right?

Henceforth, no more mincing about on tiptoe; from now on, we swagger. Speak softly? Whatever the hell for, when there are so many big sticks for us to swing at their empty skulls just lying around? Be it hereby resolved: As of today, we no longer ASK, nicely or any other wise. We TELL, in no uncertain terms.

Anton asks “why would we want to” live cheek by jowl with our tormentors? Frankly, we don’t. Nor should we. That’s no more than right, meet, and just. They don’t like us, they don’t respect us, they don’t “get” us. Fine and well, so stipulated, whatevs. Now understand me, and understand me well: we are under no obligation to care whether they do or do not. At this time, in this place, our sole obligation, our sole allegiance, is to ourselves and our posterity. Respect us, like us? Pish tosh. Let them fear us. T’is enough, t’will serve.

The excerpt above is from another most excellent Michael Anton piece, of which you will surely want to read the all.

Nice work if you can get it

It might be a big club, but you and me ain’t in it.

As a Congresscritter, Alex from the Bronx Sandy from Westchester pulls in a comparatively paltry 155k per annum. As a natural-born skeptic, Divemedic has questions.

A person who gets elected to the House of Representatives receives a salary of $155,000 per year. Prior to being elected, they lived with their mother while working as a bartender and were fighting the foreclosure of their home. 29 months after assuming office, they have a net worth of $29 million. This person now owns 6 homes, 5 Cars, 2 Luxury Yachts, has cash reserves of over $3 Million and a stock portfolio that is valued at $15 million.

I am of course talking about AOC. The question I think we should all be asking is- how do you increase your net worth by over $1 million a month when your salary is only $13,000 a month?

She is a self described socialist, yet drives 5 cars with a combined value of half a million dollars: a Mercedes-Benz GLA, an Audi Q2, a BMW X7 ($100,000), a Mercedes-Benz EqC (valued at $140,000), and a BMW X8 ($200,000).

Fairly nice haul after a mere couple of years as a goobermint official, wouldn’t you say? But that’s the way with all these so-called “public servants,” each and every one of them. SOP:

  • Run for office
  • Once you’re in, you’re in for life—consistently, well over 90% of incumbents are reelected again and again and again, until they either retire, die, or, in a vanishingly few extraordinary cases, are indicted, tried, and/or packed off for a brief stay in Club Fed
  • Board the Boeing and get rich, rich, RICH; the graft don’t stop till the casket drops, baby

Think I’m joking, gilding the lily, or in any way exaggerating about elected office being for all intents and purposes a lifetime sinecure? Think again, bub.

The re-election rate for members of Congress is exceptionally high considering how unpopular the institution is in the eyes of the public. If you’re looking for steady work, you might consider running for office yourself; job security is especially strong for members of the House of Representatives even though a significant portion of the electorate supports terms limits.

How often do members of Congress actually lose an election? Not very.

Incumbent members of the House seeking re-election are all but assured re-election. The re-election rate among all 435 members of the House has been as high as 98 percent in modern history, and it’s rarely dipped below 90 percent.

The late Washington Post political columnist David Broder referred to this phenomenon as “incumbent lock” and blamed gerrymandered congressional districts for eliminating any notion of competition in general elections.

But there are other reasons the re-election rate for members of Congress is so high. “With wide name recognition, and usually an insurmountable advantage in campaign cash, House incumbents typically have little trouble holding onto their seats,” explains the Center for Responsive Politics, a nonpartisan watchdog group in Washington.

In addition, there are other built-in protections for congressional incumbents: the ability to regularly mail flattering newsletters to constituents at taxpayer expense under the guise of “constituent outreach” and to earmark money for pet projects in their districts. Members of Congress who raise money for their colleagues are also rewarded with large amounts of campaign money for their own campaigns, making (it) even more difficult to unseat incumbents.

I’ve made much sport of sleazy, slimy ProPols over lo, these many years for being perfectly willing to eat a mile of fresh, steaming turd at high noon on the public square if they thought it might help them win elective office. Given the richness of the payoff once they’re in, who could blame them? It’s yet another dismal indicator of just how badly broken this country is, that’s what.

Gimme a bang, not a whimper

The J6 Inquisition and its scores of innocent victims must not go unavenged.

Americans are witnessing something unprecedented: a congressional committee handpicked by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi working seamlessly with a highly partisan Justice Department to criminalize political dissent. Contrary to the solemn insistence of known liars like Schiff and Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), none of it has anything to do with the four-hour disturbance on Capitol Hill more than 18 months ago but everything to do with dragging America into banana republic-style territory complete with political prisoners, kangaroo courts, secret police, forced confessions, and nonstop propaganda under the guise of “news.”

As this Democratic Party crusade has unfolded over the past year and a half, most Republican officials have been silent as the regime flagrantly flouts the Constitution and the boundaries of decency and tradition. Some leaders, most notably Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), have embraced the description of January 6 as an “insurrection” and blame Trump for what happened that day.

While congressional Republicans bury their heads in the Democrats’ latest pit of political quicksand, their voters are not as gullible. According to a report this week by Axios, a GOP-led House is planning to retaliate for the conduct of the January 6 selection committee by launching an investigation into the committee itself—not necessarily because top Republicans have the stomach for the fight but because they are getting an earful from their constituents. “The base is out for blood on subpoenas,” tied to investigations of January 6, Hunter Biden, the coronavirus response, and the Afghanistan withdrawal, a House Republican aide told Axios.

One would be hard pressed to find McCarthy criticizing the FBI even after agents arrested Trump trade advisor Peter Navarro at Reagan National Airport and placed him leg shackles on a contempt of Congress charge: ditto for FBI harassment of former Justice Department official Jeffrey Clark and Trump campaign lawyer John Eastman. Yet McCarthy was quick to call for Rep. Jeff Fortenberry (R-Neb.) to resign after a California jury found him guilty of lying to federal investigators in a clear case of FBI entrapment. (Fortenberry is appealing the verdict.)

Some members of McCarthy’s caucus, thankfully, are taking a more aggressive approach. Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), Louie Gohmert (R-Texas), Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) and a few others are demanding justice for the January 6 detainees and condemning D.C. correctional officials for harsh treatment of Trump supporters in custody. Rep. Rodney Davis (R-Ill.), who lost his Republican primary last week, asked Capitol Police and Pelosi’s office to preserve all documents pertaining to January 6, accusing Pelosi of obstructing “Republican access to House records relating to the security preparedness of the Capitol complex.”

But sternly worded letters and empty promises won’t do the trick this time around; rank-and-file Republicans won’t be fooled again. After a much-hyped Durham probe ends with a whimper, House Democrats ratchet up their public pursuit of Trump associates, and the Justice Department continues to arrest Capitol trespassers and seek lengthy jail sentences for minor offenses, the base’s appetite for political blood will only increase. GOP leaders will need a cutthroat approach if they retake power next year.

I wouldn’t be holding my breath waiting on it, Jules. One thing we can say about the Vichy GOPe wing of the Uniparty: once they’ve been bought, they stay bought. Which means that if Real Americans truly want to see justice done for this monstrous travesty, they’re gonna have to stand up on their hind legs and do it themselves.

Treason troubles

Tucker rips Benedict Biden a new one.

Tucker Carlson: Biden should be impeached for sending our natural assets to our enemy China
So, it’s hard to hear anything Joe Biden says because it’s hard for him to say anything, but if you listen carefully or read a transcript, you will learn what he just said is we’re releasing a million barrels per day for a total of more than 180 million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, which is held in caverns in a couple of states. How much is that? It’s a staggering figure.

So, let’s put it in context. The reserve can hold more than 700 million barrels total, but it didn’t have that because Congress, by the way, as you haven’t been paying attention, has been selling off our Strategic Petroleum Reserve to pay off debt. So, by the time Joe Biden arrived, there was far less than that. There was about 568 million barrels of oil in the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. Now, no president in American history has ordered a drawdown this large.

In 1991, the beginning of Operation Desert Storm, which was an actual war with real American soldiers involved, the U.S. government released 17 million barrels of oil as a way of assuring a stable supply of global crude. The U.S. released just 20 million barrels after Hurricane Katrina destroyed parts of the Gulf Coast where so many refineries are. But now we’re releasing many times that figure from the reserve all to protect the Democratic Party from getting what it deserves in the midterm elections in November and as a result of that unbelievably reckless, in fact criminal decision, our oil reserves now at their lowest level in nearly 40 years, and they are dropping fast. None of this needed to happen. There was no reason to tap our Strategic Petroleum Reserve when we could produce the energy here and were in fact producing it until Joe Biden took office.

But at the same time, you have to be honest. Principles of supply and demand would suggest that this would work in the short term. Releasing all this oil should have lowered gas prices until the reserve ran out, which it will. You inject more petroleum into the market and prices for gas should drop, but here’s the amazing thing. That’s not happening. Since Joe Biden started releasing all this oil from our reserves, which he does not own, you do, we do, what has happened to gas prices? They haven’t dropped. They’ve kept going up. Huh? In mid-June, the price of both regular unleaded and diesel critically hit all-time highs, well over five bucks a gallon nationally. How could this be? It really was a mystery. It violated the most basic rules of economics, but now, thanks to a new report in Reuters, we know why.

It turns out the oil being released isn’t for us. It’s going to India and China. According to Reuters, and we’re quoting, “more than 5 million barrels of oil that were part of a historic U.S. emergency reserve released to lower domestic fuel prices were exported to Europe and Asia last month.” The piece continues “cargo of SPR, crude (oil from our reserves) we’re also headed to the Netherlands into a Reliance refinery in India, an industry source said. A third cargo (buckle your seatbelt) headed to China.” To China!

So, as gas prices set records in this country, as American citizens who were born here and vote and pay taxes cannot afford to fuel their own cars, the Biden administration is selling off our emergency oil reserves to China. That’s not an indictable offense? It’s certainly an impeachable one and they should impeach him for that.

Impeach him, hell. With the attempt to save his saggy, decrepit hide politically by selling American strategic oil reserves to China, then lying to the American people about why he did it, Joe Biden has given aid and comfort to the enemy—a clear and indisputable act of high treason as the crime is explicitly defined in the US Constitution. Sorry, Tucker, but impeachment is nowhere near harsh enough for this corrupt, self-serving traitor. Joe Biden must, and of right ought to be, hanged by the neck until he is dead, the fitting and proper punishment for such a heinous crime.

Yes, yes, I am aware that there isn’t a snowball’s chance in Hell of this happening; as we all already know too well, Biden will face no just reckoning whatsoever for his treason, not of any sort or severity. But that’s equally true of impeachment, which is no more likely than executing the repulsive scoundrel is. So as long as we’re just spinning ridiculous fantasies here, why not go balls to the wall with it? Hang Joe Biden treason, I say, and right straight to Hell with the rotten cocksucker.

Oh, and just in case you thought this wasn’t disgusting enough for ya yet, there’s another emetic twist.

The Biden Administration Sold 950,000 Barrels of Precious Strategic Petroleum Reserve Oil to a China Firm Which Hunter Biden Just Happens To Own a Huge Stake In

I wish I could honestly say I found it shocking in the least that a brazen act of treason wouldn’t be quite sleazy enough to suit the egomania of a career grifter like Traitor Joe Biden. No, he felt he just had to class things up even more by tacking on some of the tawdry grift he’s been notorious for his whole life, too.

What a guy, eh?

Give the dirty son of a bitch one thing, though: nobody has ever considered Joe Biden to be an outstanding or superlative example of…well, of anything at all, really. Even in the Vice and Corruption category, he wasn’t ever going to bring home any awards. The stupid, fumbling stumblebum was strictly a mediocrity, nothing particularly notable or special about the oxygen thief. But by compounding high treason with the Biden Crime Family’s trademark grubby, bargain-basement peculation, Traitor Joe has raised the bar on cheap graft and embezzlement higher than its ever been before, against all previous expectations. May he and every one of his repellent clan be long remembered for their patriarch’s feat.

Spade=spade

Treason, straight up.

Joe Biden is busy blaming gas station owners for the soaring prices of filling up at the pump.

Why, those dirty birds!

It’s his latest scheme to deflect blame for the nasty price shocks he’s brought on us, with gas going for about $5 a gallon nationwide, and $6-something in tax-happy, save-the-planet California.

He’s also blamed Putin, Big Oil producers, oil refineries, Republicans, and anyone but himself when it’s obvious enough that the root of the problem is his crush-the-oil-industry policies that he launched on day one in the name of “going green.” Combine it with his monster rounds of federal money-printing, which has brought on authentic inflation, and it’s a double-whammy of inflation and constrained supply.

Oh, but rest assured, he says he’s the good guy here:

I promise you I’m doing everything possible — everything possible to bring the price of energy down, gas prices down. And I want to make sure we all work on this together.

So he babbled. That’s from the White House official transcript.

His “everything possible” is weasel words. What he means is everything possible for him politically to bring down prices, not everything possible that will result actual price-cutting at the pump.

That’s why he’s failed refused to reverse his horrible decisions on the Keystone XL pipeline from Canada,

FIFY, Monica mine.

which would have brought America all the energy it needed, or reverse his bad decisions on drilling on federal land and waters, which would have restored American energy independence and maybe even made the U.S. an exporter of energy again. Those would be moves he could just throw the word out he was doing and would have brought energy prices down at least somewhat, minus the cost of Fed-generated inflation, given the importance of the futures market to energy trading. Instead, he’s gone begging the Saudis and Venezuelans to pump more oil for him and released about half the Strategic Petroleum Reserves, using it as an open-market mechanism to blunt the effect his bad policies rather than for the emergencies it’s intended to address. None of this has brought down the price of oil.

Think I was engaging in a little over-the-top rhetoricization with that “treason” business, do ya? Where is all this “treason,” forsooth? Gird your loins, O ye doubting Thomasii.

Now we learn that a huge chunk of this oil has gone abroad — to Europe, which, like the grasshopper that never bothered to save for a rainy day, what with Putin on the march demanding to be paid in rubles for his oil and natural gas, has left the continent short. Putin’s doing great on the price of petroleum, having lots of markets to sell to if Europe won’t buy from him, and the Russian ruble has strengthened. Worse still, a lot of this SPR release has gone to Asia, particularly China, which isn’t using it to fuel gas stations.

According to Reuters, which broke the story, it’s some 5 million barrels in just the last month alone, arriving at China’s Pacific ports.

The American Energy Alliance points out that it’s actually worse than it looks. China isn’t even using the oil; it’s stockpiling it for its own strategic petroleum reserves, meaning the U.S. oil taken off the market is not helping to lower the price of crude even on a worldwide basis.

I’m not an unreasonable man. That being so, I am perfectly willing to stipulate that Fuck(ing) Jaux Biden might actually NOT be the sorriest sumvabitch who ever shat behind a pair of shoes. But with this revoltin’ development, it couldn’t be more obvious that that ain’t the way to bet.

Oh, for the halcyon days of yore, when we used to hang scuzznuggets who pulled shit like this by their necks until they were dead, dead, DEAD. If this ain’t treason, I hope to never, ever see whatever is.

Comments appear entirely at the whim of the guy who pays the bills for this site and may be deleted, ridiculed, maliciously edited for purposes of mockery, or otherwise pissed over as he in his capricious fancy sees fit. The CF comments section is pretty free-form and rough and tumble; tolerance level for rowdiness and misbehavior is fairly high here, but is NOT without limit.

Management is under no obligation whatever to allow the comments section to be taken over and ruined by trolls, Leftists, and/or other oxygen thieves, and will take any measures deemed necessary to prevent such. Conduct yourself with the merest modicum of decorum, courtesy, and respect and you'll be fine. Pick pointless squabbles with other commenters, fling provocative personal insults, issue threats, or annoy the host (me) and...you won't.

Should you find yourself sanctioned after running afoul of the CF comments policy as stated and feel you have been wronged, please download and complete the Butthurt Report form below in quadruplicate; retain one copy for your personal records and send the others to the email address posted in the right sidebar.

Please refrain from whining, sniveling, and/or bursting into tears and waving your chubby fists around in frustrated rage, lest you suffer an aneurysm or stroke unnecessarily. Your completed form will be reviewed and your complaint addressed whenever management feels like getting around to it. Thank you.

FREEDOM!!!

"There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters."
Daniel Webster

“When I was young I was depressed all the time. But suicide no longer seemed a possibility in my life. At my age there was very little left to kill.”
Charles Bukowski

“A slave is one who waits for someone to come and free him.”

“The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it’s profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater.”
Frank Zappa

“The right of a nation to kill a tyrant in case of necessity can no more be doubted than to hang a robber, or kill a flea.”
John Adams

Bertrand de Jouvenel

"It is terrible to contemplate how few politicians are hanged."
GK Chesterton

"I predict that the Bush administration will be seen by freedom-wishing Americans a generation or two hence as the hinge on the cell door locking up our freedom. When my children are my age, they will not be free in any recognizably traditional American meaning of the word. I’d tell them to emigrate, but there’s nowhere left to go. I am left with nauseating near-conviction that I am a member of the last generation in the history of the world that is minimally truly free."
Donald Sensing

"The only way to live free is to live unobserved."
Etienne de la Boiete

"History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid."
Dwight D. Eisenhower

"To put it simply, the Left is the stupid and the insane, led by the evil. You can’t persuade the stupid or the insane and you had damn well better fight the evil."

"There is no better way to stamp your power on people than through the dead hand of bureaucracy. You cannot reason with paperwork."
David Black, from Turn Left For Gibraltar

"If the laws of God and men, are therefore of no effect, when the magistracy is left at liberty to break them; and if the lusts of those who are too strong for the tribunals of justice, cannot be otherwise restrained than by sedition, tumults and war, those seditions, tumults and wars, are justified by the laws of God and man."
John Adams

"The limits of tyranny are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress."
Frederick Douglass

"Give me the media and I will make of any nation a herd of swine."
Joseph Goebbels

“I hope we once again have reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: As government expands, liberty contracts.”
Ronald Reagan

"Ain't no misunderstanding this war. They want to rule us and aim to do it. We aim not to allow it. All there is to it."
NC Reed, from Parno's Peril

"I just want a government that fits in the box it originally came in."
