Great one gone

The greatest sports announcer in history has finally left the stadium.

Legendary sports announcer, and voice of the Dodgers for a record-setting 67 years, Vincent Edward “Vin” Scully, 94, peacefully at his home in suburban Los Angeles.

I grew up listening to Vin. Summer hasn’t been the same since that awful day when he hung it up in 2016 and left the broadcast booth. I’ve heard a lot of sports announcers over the years. Blessed to have come of age with Dick Enberg doing L.A. football, Chick Hearn doing the Lakers, and Vin for the Dodgers. Now, all gone.

Scully wasn’t just the best of those three legends, he was the best of all time, and I do not say so lightly, nor merely out of home team pride. He did everything for everyone, and did it well, but it was baseball he loved above all, and baseball he made richer for calling the play-by-play. Not just for the Dodgers, but for every player and team he ever watched.

You couldn’t watch a home game at Dodger stadium for most of my lifetime without hearing him on 40,000 radios from home plate to the bleachers. He was that good. If you went to a game, you took a radio to listen to Vin, because he was going to tell you more about what you were looking at firsthand than any five other guys, if you gave them a week to rehearse.

Any late spring to late summer night, after sunset and before dusk, the summer heat fading away, and his voice was the soundtrack to life, a lullaby while lounging in a backyard hammock as the night sky deepened from indigo to starlit black, and an under-appreciated feast for the ears, anywhere from the pre-game show to the post-game wrap-up.

He called Sandy Koufax’s perfect game. He called Hank Aaron’s 715th homer. And he called this golden baseball moment, one for the ages. Listen to it, and watch, as I did as it happened, and imagine hearing this for up to 162 games for 67 years.

Well said. And what a moment it was, too; I’ve run this one here myself, and was watching on the TeeWee when it happened just as Aesop was. The whole Game 1 saga was a pluperfect example of what made baseball worth following, over and above all other sports—precisely the kind of magic that only baseball could produce, magic which Vin Scully understood and appreciated better than anybody before or since.

It was late here on the East Coast when it all went down; when Gibson took his winning swing, it was one of those instances where absolutely every true baseball man watching immediately knew in his gut that that ball was departing Dodger Stadium for sure and certain. Despite having been a lifelong Braves fan myself and therefore having nothing invested in who would come out on top in that year’s Fall Classic, I nonetheless leapt out of my easy chair with a lung-scarring shout of purest joy that brought my slumbering girlfriend rushing out into the living room, frightened witless that something terrible, something awful, had just happened.

To the contrary, something extraordinary, something truly wonderful, just had. It was well after midnight here; I had to be at work at 5 the next AM, and cared not a whit that I’d be paying all day for the lateness of the hour. Kirk Gibson had just provided all the world with one of those exhilarating, unforgettable baseball moments that every baseball fan lives for, but somehow never really expects. Gibson’s Miracle Shot discombobulated and demoralized Tony LaRussa’s heavily-favored Oakland A’s so badly that Tom LaSorda’s underdog Dodgers ended up taking the Series in just five games, against all odds and expectations.

And who but the incomparable Vin Scully could possibly have done a better job of calling it for us? A blow-by-blow summation of the whole incredible thing:

Unknown to the fans and the media at the time, Kirk Gibson was watching the game on television while undergoing physical therapy in the Dodgers’ clubhouse. At some point during the game, television cameras scanned the Dodgers dugout and commentator Vin Scully, working for NBC for the 1988 postseason, observed that Gibson was “nowhere to be found”. This spurred Gibson to call for Mitch Poole, the team ball boy, to set up the tee for him to take some warm up swings. After a series of warm up swings, Gibson told Poole to go get Lasorda for an evaluation. After a brief stint to get Tommy’s attention, Pool informed Lasorda that Gibson was taking practice swings in the clubhouse, where Lasorda went back for the evaluation. Shortly there after, Gibson was seen in the dugout wearing his batting helmet Along the way, NBC’s Bob Costas could hear Gibson’s agonized-sounding grunts after every hit.

A’s closer Dennis Eckersley came on to pitch the ninth to close it out for (A’s ace hurler Dave “Smoke”) Stewart. After retiring the first two batters (Mike Scioscia and Jeff Hamilton), Eckersley’s former A’s teammate Mike Davis, batting for Alfredo Griffin, walked on five pitches. During Davis’ at-bat, Dave Anderson initially entered the on-deck circle to hit for Alejandro Peña. Eckersley pitched carefully to Davis because the A’s remembered all of the home runs he hit for the A’s a year earlier, not because the light-hitting Anderson was on deck, as popularly believed. After Davis walked, Lasorda called back Anderson and sent up a hobbled Kirk Gibson to the plate, amidst cheers from the Dodger Stadium crowd. Gibson bravely fouled off Eckersley’s best offerings, demonstrating how badly he was hurting. On one foul, Gibson hobbled towards first and prompted Scully to quip, “And it had to be an effort to run THAT far.” After Gibson fouled off several pitches, Davis stole second on ball three. On the next pitch, the 8th of the at-bat, Gibson, slammed a backdoor slider into the right field bleachers to win the game. The footage of Gibson hobbling around the bases on both hurt legs and pumping his fist as he rounded second became an iconic baseball film highlight.

Gibson would never bat again in the Series, and his walk-off homer in Game 1 marked the first time that a World Series game ended with a come-from-behind home run. In a somewhat forgotten detail of this game highlighting the teamwork that was this Dodgers team’s trademark all season, Gibson’s heroics still would not have been possible without the earlier home run by the man replacing Gibson in the line-up, Mickey Hatcher.

Gibson became the second player ever to record a walk-off hit with two outs and his team trailing in the bottom of the ninth inning of a World Series game, following Cookie Lavagetto in the 1947 World Series. Only one other player, Brett Phillips in the 2020 World Series, has since accomplished this feat.

A bona fide miracle indeed, one that will shine forever in the pantheon of America’s Pastime. And how profoundly grateful I am that the great Vin Scully was on hand to do the play-by-play in his own inimitable style. Aesop’s note-perfect finale really says it all.

Imagine being so good you could shut up for over a minute on live TV after one of the greatest moments in sports history, and just let the microphone tell the story. You don’t have to imagine it. Vin just did it.

Annnnnd bingo. Full props to color man Joe Garagiola as well, Scully’s partner in the booth that night and a damned fine announcer in his own right, for being astute enough himself to just keep quiet and let this most beautiful of baseball moments speak for itself.

Rest thee well, Vin Scully, and thanks so very much for all you gave us. You shan’t ever be forgotten.

Dream come true

I wanted one of these so bad when I was a teenager I could taste it.

I wanted a blue one back in the day, but I could’ve forced myself to accept a black one if someone twisted my arm hard enough. This next is the part that will kill ya.

On WWIV

Since we’re well and truly in it and have been for many years, the wise move would probably be to start fighting back, lest we end up overrun and badly routed.

Unlike the physical territory and fronts of conventional war, the battlefield of this war is the mind and soul. The goal is to confuse and demoralize the American people — and particularly patriots — through ideological, spiritual, and psychological operations (psyops), and a range of other deceptions. Unrecognized by most, this war has been going on during the last century in different forms and against different actors. The primary targets of this war are the American people’s sense of identity and belonging — their family orientation, their faith in God and appreciation for their country. The enemy battle plan has been to create division within America in every possible way: between children and their parents, between young and old, between races, between genders, and between heterosexuals and homosexuals. The recent explosion of a transgender movement may be a marker of nearing the end, for no civilization can survive when individuals turn upon themselves.

The common thread of those who want to take America down is a secular globalist vision that supersedes and nullifies the sovereignty of the nation-state. For these elites, the United States and its constitution stands in their way and is their biggest obstacle.

The first socialist totalitarian globalist regime was the Soviet communist system known as the USSR that was established in 1919 by Bolshevik revolutionaries Vladimir Lenin and Leon Trotsky, both of whom who were financed by wealthy capitalist businessmen in London, Frankfurt, and New York.

After World War II, the second totalitarian state was established by Mao Zedong in 1949 as the Peoples Republic of China (PRC). In 1989, the USSR ended due to its failed socialist economic system, and the fifteen Soviet satellite countries, including Ukraine, regained their independence. The Communist Party of China (CCP) then took the baton of global communism, leaving behind a legacy of its bloody cultural revolution and the genocide of some sixty-five million of its own citizens. Learning from the failure of socialism in the USSR, the CCP adopted a modified market system in the early 1980s. Even though this market system was under control of the CCP, its incentives combined with the entrepreneurial culture in China catalyzed rapid economic growth that lifted a significant portion of the Chinese population out of poverty.

More than any country, China has a unique war-fighting orientation that traces back to Fourth Century B.C. military philosopher-strategist, Sun Tzu, whose name means “Grand Master.” Chinese military and political decisionmakers still embrace Sun Tzu’s admonition to “break the enemy’s resistance without fighting,” and to exploit the normalcy bias by “engaging the enemy with what they expect as it is what they are able to discern and it will confirm their projections… and it will settle them into predicable patterns of response, occupying their minds while you wait for the extraordinary moment — that which they cannot anticipate.”

By the late 1980s and through the 1990s, the CCP let the world know that they were open for business, offering a huge market for foreign brand products and also a low-cost manufacturing platform. Chinese communists deemed this the best way for their country’s economy to catch up to the developed countries of the world. And so, the CCP created rules of engagement that included 51 percent ownership of all joint ventures established in China so as to assure control and guarantee access to technology. Through this, the Chinese gained access to American companies’ patents and designs. In addition, there has been and continues to be blatant lawbreaking and theft by the Chinese. Last month the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Global IP Centre (GIPC) reported that as much as 86% of the world’s counterfeit goods originate from China.

While wooing American companies to offshore some or all of their manufacturing and assembly to China, the CCP was building and infiltrating channels in the United States at many levels. Those channels included universities and think tanks, social and cultural groups, Chinese-language media, Chinese cultural organizations — such as Confucius Institutes, and WeChat, the Chinese social media and messaging app. Newsweek has identified about 600 Chinese groups operating in the U.S. that are all in regular touch with and guided by the CCP — a larger-scale version of a pattern found in other countries around the world.

It’s no coincidence that the Covid-19 virus originating in China in late 2019 gave birth to one of the largest global psyops in peacetime history. That psyop, which was explicitly designed to promote fear started with the CCP’s approval to release of images of total lockdowns in Wuhan, with apartment entry doors being welded shut, while bags of dead or dying pet dogs and cats piled up on sidewalks awaiting pickup and burial.

Klaus Schwab, WEF founder and chairman, built on the COVID fear psyop, stating “the Covid pandemic represents a rare but narrow window of opportunity to reflect, reimagine, and reset our world to create a healthier, more equitable, and more prosperous future.” Among WEF’s eight predictions for the world in 2030, we are told: “You will own nothing. And you will be happy.”

Newly Awokened™ former shitlib functionary Naomi Wolf has written an extended, meticulously-crafted piece in which she bluntly details the strategies, tactics, weapons, maneuvers, and war aims of China’s not so stealthy or subtle campaign to defeat and destroy us utterly. The article is simply impossible to excerpt without doing serious structural damage to her work and dulling its impact severely. Some may find Wolf’s tone a bit shrill and therefore off-putting in places, perhaps inclining them to feel that in the end, the shouting undermines the argument. Speaking strictly for myself, however, I can’t gainsay the case she makes with any real confidence, and ain’t gonna try to. Read it yourself and see how it strikes you.

Be that as it may, no sane, sober person can credibly deny any longer that Heritage Americans are now embroiled in a multifaceted war, beset on numerous fronts by a hydra-headed yet essentially unitary foe. In such a grim situation, it’s difficult in the extreme to even figure out where to begin battling back, inspiring a deep-down dismay and despair—a feeling that all is lost anyway, so why try? Don’t give in to this; every successful field officer or astute military analyst I’ve ever read, from Sun Tzu (if you’ve never read The Art Of War before, trust me when I say you MUST) right through to PattonEisenhower and beyond, urges against what they usually refer to as “taking counsel of your fears.

So it is with us today: we cannot, we MUST not, do this. That path leads only to defeat, subjugation, and ultimately, death. NO enemy, however strong and determined, is invincible. NO situation, however bleak and daunting, is truly hopeless. NO struggle, however arduous and difficult, is truly lost unless and until we yield. Unless and until we surrender.

NEVER surrender. NEVER yield. NEVER let hope fade away.

Hey lawdy MAMA!

I’ve been stuck staring at this…ummm, story…ever since Ace first brought it up the other day.

Mum trolled as boobs ‘steal spotlight’ in ‘indecent’ dress at son’s birthday party
A mum claims her own cleavage “stole the spotlight” from her son’s birthday party.

Raquel Dicuru, 37, was throwing a party for her son’s seventh birthday last month while her sister-in-law filmed her lighting the candles on the cake.

It wasn’t until the mum, from Tonbridge, Kent, watched it back that she saw her purple sundress revealed much of her chest.

Happily, the comely (and hoo boy, is she ever that, as can be seen in the several other pics included with this bodacious article) Ms Dicuru has boucoup chestage to reveal, and it looks to be well worth the revealing, bless her perfectly proportioned, shapely heart.

Tig ol bitties!

Raquel’s riposte to the juiceless, withered old killjoys who took umbrage with the inadvertent display of her succulent fun-bags was spot on:

In response, Raquel has told her followers to “get a life”.

Attagirl, you tell ’em. I could be mistaken, I admit, but I can’t help but get the distinct feeling the bluenoses’ unsolicited critique just might have been motivated primarily by envy—the males, because they ain’t got anything like that waiting for ’em at home, and the females, because ditto. Certainly, it’s a pretty safe bet that young master Dicuru saw quite a lot of those tig ol’ bitties early on, or at least until he was weaned off of ’em—one assumes under extreme, kicking-and-screaming protest—and was therefore already quite familiar with the edifying spectacle anyway.

For some strange reason, this feel-good story puts me in mind of a certain RAB classic.

Now as it happens, among a crap-ton of other artists the Stray Cays covered that one early in their illustrious career, with Setzer tacking on one of the coolest verses yet written as a bonus:

Well, I’m smoking past the filter
And it’s burnin’ my lips
Yeah, I’m smokin’ past the filter
And it’s burnin’ my lips
My whole body is a-shakin’ right to my fingertips

Yep, you go on and try and tell me that ain’t just like mama used to make. Knowing Brian as I do, and I know him pretty well, he would be extremely gratified that I’d thought to include him in this particular post, and for all the right reasons too. A little extry rockabilly twangerrifickness for ya.

Lots and lots of excellent, obscure stuff on that album, but it’s that first tune I particularly wanted to call y’all’s attention to. If you’re into it, the fifth song—”Hot Rod Baby—is another one of my all-time faves. GONNA SUCK THIS CAT RIGHT UP MY PIPES…

Update! Yes, I know, I’m obsessing here, but can you blame me? Actually, I been mulling it over trying to come up with some conceivable downside for the kid here, seeing as how all those green-eyed bluenoses claim to be upset about how his hot MILF ruined his birthday for him by the heinous, hateful sin of letting ’em breathe without malice aforethought, and I confess I’m drawing a blank on that.

I mean, the child doesn’t look to be terribly upset in the two (2) pics he appears in in the article, as far as I can discern. And honestly, why would he be? Mama made the both of ’em famous the world over because a bunch of self-righteous Holy Joes got their panties in a bunch over nothing whatsoever.

Think of it: for the rest of his life, he gets to tell his buddies the funny story about that time he and his mom made the newspapers and got everybody all in a dither because, even pushing 40, she was still a sexy, eye-catching lass. He’ll be laughing over this tempest in a teapot from now on; he’ll consider Year 7 the greatest birthday party he ever did have. It’ll be a long, long time before he has to buy his own beer once he’s old enough to belly up to the bar for a pint of stout at his local pub with a story like this to recount.

And like I said earlier, it ain’t as if he didn’t already KNOW his mom was sporting a righteous shirt-full long before now; he didn’t just learn of it after every swingin’ Richard in once-Great Britain got all frothy and fizzy-lipped over it and pointed it out to all and sundry with great outrage and vexation. If there’s any real downside to be found here, for anybody at all except the aforementioned Holy Joe and Jane—who really ought to just shut their yaps and mind their own beeswax—be damned if I can find it.

A surplus of irony

Absolutely disgusting.

The backstory.

When Minneapolis police officers showed up in St. Paul last week to execute a search warrant for a murder suspect, they were met by toddlers — some still in diapers — who punched, kicked, cursed, and threw rocks at them. (Alpha News is only publishing 30 seconds of the video, but it goes on for another two minutes.)

The behavior of these children is eerily similar to the behaviors of rioters who burned and looted Minneapolis two years ago.

Children who can’t read or cross the street unattended hurled profanities and unabashed disrespect at law enforcement officers.

As they cussed, berated, and struck police officers with their fists, a bystander can be heard in the background encouraging the children by saying “Oreo head,” in reference to the black police officer at the scene.

This is a problem.

We need to solve it.

We surely do. But we ain’t going to. Even at this late date, the FUSA is brim-full of Mk 1-Mod 0 shitlibs whose 100% guar-on-teed reaction to the above sick-making video will be to sigh dreamily over the unjust plight of those poor victimized feral niglets and excoriate those bad, awful policemen for heartlessly oppressing them in the name of American racist bigotry. As long as liberal idiots remain extant in numbers great enough to stand in the way of it, there will be no solution to the Nigra Problem forthcoming.

Said shitlibs, mind, are the sort who will always reflexively take the side of the noble, superior People Of Culludt™ against civilization and decency, even in the terrifying moments one of those “beautiful” People Of Culludt™ has his knife (probably loot from the home invasion-type robbery he pulled last night) pressed firmly against said shitlib’s carotid while he rifles through Proggy’s pockets for whatever he can sprint off with.

While the video content is disquieting, it is also preventable.

Not in Amerika v2.0 it ain’t.

What’s the product of grooming children to disrespect police officers and other forms of authority? We are essentially training them to disregard societal norms of behavior and hindering them from achieving success in life. In short, we’re cultivating future criminals.

Add 10 years to the age of these children and their behavior would be deemed delinquent. Add 20 years to their age, and their faces might end up as pictures on T-shirts after a violent encounter with the law.

And after that, the feral boog’s corporeal remains, well-preserved less by the embalmer’s art and more by the system-wide surfeit of illegal pharmaceuticals that actually did end his squandered life, will lie in state in the Capitol Rotunda so’s hundreds of thousands of grief-stricken shitlibs can file by to pay tearful respects to the great man. This profoundly depressing festival of shitlib self-abnegation and humiliation, complete with entire police departments humbly Taking A Knee in atonement for the myriad sins of the great White debbil, will be topped off by three or four funerals worthy of a real, true American hero—a man who stormed the beach at Normandy back in ’44, maybe, whose own passing will go unremarked and unlamented except among the pitiful handful of surviving close relatives who attend his funeral obsequies.

The outcome, though not guaranteed, is predictable. Why? These children are the result of a social experiment gone bad. They are casualties of the War on Poverty introduced by the progressive left under President Johnson in the 1960s. Since that time, the black community and society as a whole have been suffering the consequences.

When children like these are eventually arrested or even killed because they have never learned to respect authority, progressives and the media use their deaths as an opportunity to advance the faulty narrative of inherent racism in America.

And for as long as they remain with us on this Earthly plane, “children like these” will live as Wards O’ The State, their subsistence covered in full by the American taxpayer (White, in the main) until he’s finally murdered by one of them.

Spicy Time cometh, and that right soon

Aesop runs us through the whole sad, sorry mess.

Consider me this:

An economy tottering on the edge of the abyss, run by blind drunken fools, yanking levers and pushing buttons, with no idea what anything does. Inflation that has eclipsed Jimmy Carter. Already. Money worth next to nothing. Economidiots who can’t grasp the relation of one thing to the other. Your earnings and savings spiraling into the ground.

A pure banana republic, with all the trimmings, trying desperately to prop itself up 24/7/365, with the most incompetent bumbling assclown in world history nominally running the con.

The government openly defying the Supreme Court, while egging the mob to actively undertake its violent destruction.

The total destruction of the average person’s ability to travel as they please, and the total destruction of the energy independence we enjoyed just three short years ago, in service of a fairytale about anthropogenic globull warming that’s been debunked more times than Bigfoot, the Loch Ness monster, and imaginary fake moon landings.

A burgeoning surveillance state that extends to every detail of your life, every waking minute, to every corner of the globe.

A bureaucracy that extends its nose into every nook and cranny of your life, 24/7/365/forever, and grows like a cancer on PCP.

A lamestream corporate media machine that cheers all of this on, and berates and beats the citizenry about the head and shoulders with manufactured faux news and fake crises around the clock, around the dial, and around the world, in an unrelenting stream of panic-induced frenzy, not just knowingly, but slobbering and drooling for that effect.

Look at what half the country did for two years, when a conservative president, with nominal single-party control of both houses of congress, held the reins of power. (Ignore what an unbelievably huge missed opportunity for freedom that was, but for the Uniparty RINO Establishment.)

Look what they’ve done so far, deliberately, after a fraudulent election visible from space, and not yet 18 months into holding the reins of power. To the Constitution. Civil rights. The rule of law. Public order. The military. The medical establishment. The territorial integrity of the country. The legitimacy of elections and peaceful transfers of power. The militarization of the police, while simultaneously undercutting any legitimate law enforcement anywhere, anytime, against any member of any pseudo-victim class. The violent overthrow and subsequent ass-raping of actual science and biological fact, in favor of naked advocacy and junk science. The endless gaslighting and demonization of the other half of the country. And the rank hypocrisy at their own tactics and attacks, going back decades.

A foreign power seeking to destroy the republic utterly could not have succeeded this well in their wildest dreams, and their attempts would have looked no less like what we’ve actually gotten than what we’ve actually gotten – from our own so-called “leaders”.

Then consider every brick in the foundations of civilization they have ripped out and smashed into dust, and the levers of division they’ve jammed so deeply into the edifice of the republic that it cannot possibly long endure.

Now, in light of this long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evincing an obvious desire to reduce The People under absolute despotism, unto a state of abject slavery,

How does this ever end in anything other than gunfire, bloodshed, and violence on a biblical scale, with rivers of blood, and mountains of bleached skulls afterwards?

Know well that once that kicks off, the only imperative is to WIN.

Sincerest apologies to my friend Aesop for curb-stomping the hell out of the concept of Fair Use, but this one was just too damned on-point NOT to hijack damned near the whole enchilada for reposting here. I thought the semi-stealth insertion of a direct quote from the DoI towards the end there an especially apt touch, seeing as how the ideals and precepts writ large therein are really what it’s all about going forward, and pretty much ALL it’s about.

For my own part, I’ll just let Breitbart say it for me one more time.

Can it be more than mere coinkydink that, in my YouTube library/playlist of “saved” videos, the Breitbart clip was immediately and automagically followed by Heston’s “from my cold dead hands, Mr Gore!” excerpt?

International laughingstock

What a pathetic fucking boob.

“Biden shakes hands with the air … again” is the label on a video clip of President Joe Biden after he receives the Presidential Medal of Honor from Israeli President Isaac Herzog at an event in Jerusalem on Thursday.

What the actual fuck has this Clown Prince Of Corruption EVER done that could possibly merit a Presidential Medal of Honor citaton—from ANYBODY?!? Be that as it may, just sit back and enjoy the show, as I&I bats this witless stumblebum around like a drool-damp cat toy.

After shaking hands with Herzog, Biden turns and appears to extend his hand again to shake…with nobody. This is the second time Biden has made this odd move. Back in April, he did the same thing, and the clip went viral enough that the “fact-checking” press had to rush in to defend Biden, saying he was simply gesturing to the audience.

This time, there is no audience, just a couple of empty chairs.

It’s not entirely clear from the video why Biden extends his hand like this. It almost appears as though he’s giving himself stage directions, as in “now head over this way, Mr. President.”

Whatever Biden was thinking, it’s clear that he is incredibly enfeebled, as he shuffles stiffly over to his seat, with Herzog literally guiding him and pointing at the chair where Biden is supposed to sit.

Ahh, but the imbecile was only getting warmed up.

It is an embarrassing moment for Biden, and a troubling one for the nation, given that our enemies are no doubt paying close attention to this buffoon, even as our domestic press covers for him.

But that’s not the most embarrassing handshake flub at this event.

After carefully making his way down to his chair, Biden smiles – as though happy with his achievement – and then he and Herzog watch a pop duet sing a Hebrew rendition of “Let it Be.”

At the end of the song, they walk over to the singers, and Biden shakes hands with Ran Danker (forgetting that he’d promised to forgo handshakes while in Israel because of COVID).

Then he reaches out to shake Yuval Dayan’s hand. But she refuses to reciprocate. And Biden is left hanging.

Might there be a very good reason for that refusal, aside from a perfectly understandable disinclination to have the decrepit serial-kiddie-diddler physically touching one’s person in any way, for any reason? But of course there might.

Why would she do that?

Don’t look to the American media to note what happened, let alone explain it.

For that, we have to turn to Jewish news sites.

The Jewish Telegraphic Agency reports that Dayan “is famous in Israel in part for becoming more religiously observant, embracing the principle of shomer negiah, a prohibition on opposite-sex touching that some Orthodox Jews believe is required. The prohibition is rooted in the idea that any touch can lead to sexual impropriety.”

Particularly when it’s Joey Rapefingers we’re talking about. He’s notorious for that sort of thing, having been molesting every female, of whatever age, that makes the serious mistake of getting within arm’s reach of the sicko since time immemorial.

“I made sure to notify everyone in the president’s office that I am shomeret negiah,” she said, according the JTA report.

So, what? Nobody told Biden this? Nobody instructed him to respect her faith?

Of course they did, as is specifically mentioned above by Grampy Gropey’s latest victim. As always, he just doesn’t give a shit. Other possibilities, all of them entirely credible and quite damned likely:

Or did they, and he forgot? Or did he remember and is just a creep? Is this an example of White House incompetence compounded by Biden’s increasing senility?

A: Yes.

I gotta say, I’m coming around to the opinion that Biden might very well be the greatest “president” we’ve had in my lifetime, at the very least. I mean, the entertainment value provided by this hapless droolcase is off the charts. And to think, everybody used to imagine that poor old Gerald Ford tripping over the sofa and tumbling onto the rug in a heap was the height of White House comedy.

Racial epiphany

Better sit down for this: it would seem that, despite all we’ve been told for decades, there might in fact be very real attitudinal, intellectual, and behavioral differences between Whites, Nigras, and taco-benders.

I recall one incident during the early 70s when my father and I were leaving a barber shop in Hollywood. We saw two White LAPD officers chase down a fleeing Black man and give him the beating of his life. The Black man was attired in a stereotypical “pimp” outfit with all the accompanying garishness and bling. I don’t know why he was running from the cops, but the notion of a Black man fleeing from or resisting officers wasn’t shocking to me. Even at that age I had a notion that Blacks were not particularly friendly with the police. A good many of the Blacks who were bused into my Junior High and High School from South Central Los Angeles, after all, were thugs and troublemakers.

When I later became a cop in the 1980s, my racial awareness increased greatly. I have worked for four separate police departments throughout my career (now retired). I have patrolled Black ghettos, Mexican barrios, and wealthy White communities. I’ve seen it all and learned many life-lessons.

Like any cop who polices minority communities, you start to get a sense of just how different Blacks and Hispanics are from Whites. I’m not suggesting that Whites don’t commit crime nor that White neighborhoods are crime free. But there is a discernable difference between them, and it became increasingly evident to me after years of working in each of these communities.

One of the first things I noticed was the pace of working in a minority community. The calls were always coming in. Many of them were violent crimes-in-progress such as robberies, gang fights, drive-by shootings, and domestic violence. For young cops right out of the academy, it’s a great opportunity to apply one’s skills and sharpen their street smarts. It’s fun as hell too. But it also leads to burnout because the sheer volume of calls causes fatigue to set in. Most cops get jaded quickly when working in minority neighborhoods, and an us-versus-them mentality soon takes root. White officers working in Black communities are not looked upon as a good thing for obvious reasons, and they make it known how much they don’t like you policing them.

You also discover just how dysfunctional Blacks are. Large numbers of the Black men I encountered on patrol, for instance, were unemployed and were seemingly perfectly content to remain so. At almost any time of the day I would witness both younger and older Black males loitering about at liquor stores with no purpose or direction. Even though they were physically capable of working, many of them simply didn’t. Some of them were selling illegal narcotics, no doubt, while others were engaged in various criminal hustles for a few extra bucks. Many Blacks seemed to view it as acceptable and even normal. There was little if any shame among them because generational welfare is not looked upon as a bad thing.

Due to their volatile and emotional natures, domestic violence among Blacks was a frequent occurrence. They play to the drama of it all, and few people know how difficult it is to calm Blacks once they’re agitated. This is especially so when the responding officers are White. They’ll quickly turn the tables and make it not about domestic violence (or whatever reason necessitated a police response), but about how they’re being racially mistreated by White cops. Racial animus against Whites permeates their entire way of thinking. Many Black children grow up seeing this conflict between the police and parents as a regular thing. When I patrolled through a Black housing project, the children wouldn’t even smile or wave at me.

Even the kind of language and expressions an officer employs when dealing with Blacks is vastly different than how that same officer might speak to others. For example, when I would try to get information from a battered Black female victim of domestic violence, it would have been strange indeed to ask where her husband was at or where the father of her children could be found. This is because most of these Black women were unmarried, and the children do not really have a father in the customary sense. I would, instead, have to ask her: “Where’s baby’s daddy?” because that’s all these Black men were doing — namely, producing babies with single mothers. No marriage. No commitment to the mothers — not to their own children.

You almost can’t believe it at times how incredibly dim-witted they are. For Whites such as myself that grew up in a functional home with stable parents, I was sometimes astounded at how unstable and disordered the lives of Blacks were. Chaos ruled the day for most of the ones I encountered.

None of this will come as breaking news to anybody, either black or white; it’s stuff everyone already knows, just common cliché and thus not terribly remarkable or even all that interesting. No, this next bit is what caught my eye.

Many years ago, I was called into the captain’s office because I had issued too many traffic tickets to Black and Hispanic motorists in the area. I was warned that it might appear as if I were “racially profiling” them, and that I needed to stop it. I explained to the captain that the community was almost 80% Black and many Hispanics resided in the area too, but it mattered little to him. The mere appearance of racially targeting minorities was enough to stop whatever I was doing. This resulted in making me hypersensitive to the racial makeup of anyone I was stopping. Instead of being concerned about the traffic violation, I was more concerned that I didn’t stop too many minorities on any given day. I would try to find White drivers who committed traffic infractions, which then made me guilty of racially profiling Whites!

The notion of putting a tight leash on cops working nightmarish ghettos because the crime statistics accurately reflect the ‘hood’s racial demographics is so incredibly stupid it’s beyond ludicrous. Now, official reverse-racism, contradictory tail-chasing, and self-defeating political correctness being rife in every institution, organization, and agency are no big news either. But if we’re so far gone down the Leftist rabbit hole that we can’t even identify the problem implicit throughout the above paragraph, then we no longer have any realistic hope of rectifying it, and will soon be destroyed by it.

Plenty more inconvenient truth to be found at the link.

Of invasion and impeachment

Will the one lead to the other?

Last week, several Texas counties called the illegal-alien invasion across our southwest border what it is: an invasion. They wanted Gov. Greg Abbott to follow suit so that state and local officials can enforce immigration laws because the Biden Regime refuses to do so. Abbott didn’t declare an invasion, but he did authorize state police to send illegal immigrants back to ports of entry. But a foreign enemy is not driving this invasion: instead, our own president and his deputies are encouraging it. The only appropriate response is impeachment—which is why the declaration by the four counties is so important. It aligns with growing calls for the impeachment of President Joe Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

The Texas declaration is not mere rhetoric. It’s an action with actual substance. Its rationale rests on the theory that a state can declare an invasion and use its constitutional war powers to direct the National Guard and law enforcement to stop the invaders; i.e., enforce immigration law. It passes constitutional muster, too. Article I, Section 10, Clause 3 says states cannot usurp federal power on matters such as war or foreign policy “unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit delay” [emphasis added]. The Treason Lobby, of course, would run to the kritarchs. A reasonable court would side with the state, but the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision allowing Biden to revoke Remain in Mexico indicates the high court may not be so reasonable.

Nevertheless, states should go ahead. Let the courts say what they wish. Given that Leftists now argue that states can nullify SCOTUS decisions, apropos of the court’s recent rulings, immigration patriot governors should say the same thing.

Texas, by the way, isn’t alone. Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich wants Governor Doug Ducey to declare an invasion as well. “Our office concluded that violence by cartels and gangs who have now assumed control of our southern border meets the legal definition for an invasion, but it’s up to the Governor to make that actual determination,“ Brnovich recently wrote to Ducey. Ducey resisted Brnovich’s entreaty in February, but the situation has worsened considerably since then. Arizona counties might follow their Texas counterparts to put more pressure on the governor.

Now, if the Texans are right and the deluge at the border is an invasion, someone must be held responsible. That someone is Joe Biden, whose policies have invited illegals to swarm across the border. As well, he refuses to enforce federal immigration law, a clear violation of his oath of office.

One of a great many other such violations, a patent contravention of the foremost among any president’s responsibilities, perpetrated intentionally and with malice aforethought by so-called ****”president”**** Biden.

Spicier ‘n’ spicier

Simply unbelievable.

Divemedic knows the score as well as you do.

The reason for this, at least to me, is completely obvious. They WANT some looney to assassinate one or more of them. Such an act would allow Biden to name their replacement. This is nothing more than a group of people who want to commit murder but don’t have the balls to do it themselves. They know that there are people in their movement whose screws are loose, and are hoping that they can spur them into action by broadcasting the location of their desired targets.

I am willing to be that there will be a serious assassination attempt on a SCOTUS justice before the end of the year, with more copycats, and I would give you a 50% chance that at least one of those attempts will be successful before the 2024 election.

I must confess, I’m kinda surprised one of these filthy scum hasn’t had a go at offing the great Clarence Thomas long before now. Another of these depraved groups, Now or Never, boasts that “conventional tactics are not enough” and that they feel it’s “time to escalate.” For my money, I can only agree with them: it’s time, and past time, for Real Americans to “escalate” right on up to killing these baglappers in job lots.

Update! Ted Cruz lets ‘er rip, most righteously.

US. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said attacks against Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and his wife after the court overturned Roe v Wade are “despicable.”

“The racist hatred directed at Justice Thomas and his family is despicable,” Cruz said. “Absolutely vile.”

The senator made the comment in response to a photo published on social media of a protestor’s sign reading, “Ginny Thomas is a 21st cent. slave owner,” referring to Thomas’ white wife.

Cruz, a former Supreme Court clerk, warned in May that President Joe Biden’s refusal to condemn activists’ targeting of justices’ homes was “literally threatening the lives of these justices.”

Since then, some have called for Thomas to be assassinated and threats and disparaging remarks continue to be made about him.

A female protester recently called Thomas a “swine” and “illegitimate pig.”

And a politician, media personality and actor have called him “an Uncle Tom,” conservative commentator and former Republican gubernatorial candidate Larry Elder noted. He told Fox News LA that using the racial slur is “outrageous. You can disagree with somebody without making a racial slur like that. It’s unfair what he’s been called.”

Well said, Ted, and good on ya for having the stones to come to our greatest Justice’s defense this way.

Treason troubles

Tucker rips Benedict Biden a new one.

Tucker Carlson: Biden should be impeached for sending our natural assets to our enemy China
So, it’s hard to hear anything Joe Biden says because it’s hard for him to say anything, but if you listen carefully or read a transcript, you will learn what he just said is we’re releasing a million barrels per day for a total of more than 180 million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, which is held in caverns in a couple of states. How much is that? It’s a staggering figure.

So, let’s put it in context. The reserve can hold more than 700 million barrels total, but it didn’t have that because Congress, by the way, as you haven’t been paying attention, has been selling off our Strategic Petroleum Reserve to pay off debt. So, by the time Joe Biden arrived, there was far less than that. There was about 568 million barrels of oil in the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. Now, no president in American history has ordered a drawdown this large.

In 1991, the beginning of Operation Desert Storm, which was an actual war with real American soldiers involved, the U.S. government released 17 million barrels of oil as a way of assuring a stable supply of global crude. The U.S. released just 20 million barrels after Hurricane Katrina destroyed parts of the Gulf Coast where so many refineries are. But now we’re releasing many times that figure from the reserve all to protect the Democratic Party from getting what it deserves in the midterm elections in November and as a result of that unbelievably reckless, in fact criminal decision, our oil reserves now at their lowest level in nearly 40 years, and they are dropping fast. None of this needed to happen. There was no reason to tap our Strategic Petroleum Reserve when we could produce the energy here and were in fact producing it until Joe Biden took office.

But at the same time, you have to be honest. Principles of supply and demand would suggest that this would work in the short term. Releasing all this oil should have lowered gas prices until the reserve ran out, which it will. You inject more petroleum into the market and prices for gas should drop, but here’s the amazing thing. That’s not happening. Since Joe Biden started releasing all this oil from our reserves, which he does not own, you do, we do, what has happened to gas prices? They haven’t dropped. They’ve kept going up. Huh? In mid-June, the price of both regular unleaded and diesel critically hit all-time highs, well over five bucks a gallon nationally. How could this be? It really was a mystery. It violated the most basic rules of economics, but now, thanks to a new report in Reuters, we know why.

It turns out the oil being released isn’t for us. It’s going to India and China. According to Reuters, and we’re quoting, “more than 5 million barrels of oil that were part of a historic U.S. emergency reserve released to lower domestic fuel prices were exported to Europe and Asia last month.” The piece continues “cargo of SPR, crude (oil from our reserves) we’re also headed to the Netherlands into a Reliance refinery in India, an industry source said. A third cargo (buckle your seatbelt) headed to China.” To China!

So, as gas prices set records in this country, as American citizens who were born here and vote and pay taxes cannot afford to fuel their own cars, the Biden administration is selling off our emergency oil reserves to China. That’s not an indictable offense? It’s certainly an impeachable one and they should impeach him for that.

Impeach him, hell. With the attempt to save his saggy, decrepit hide politically by selling American strategic oil reserves to China, then lying to the American people about why he did it, Joe Biden has given aid and comfort to the enemy—a clear and indisputable act of high treason as the crime is explicitly defined in the US Constitution. Sorry, Tucker, but impeachment is nowhere near harsh enough for this corrupt, self-serving traitor. Joe Biden must, and of right ought to be, hanged by the neck until he is dead, the fitting and proper punishment for such a heinous crime.

Yes, yes, I am aware that there isn’t a snowball’s chance in Hell of this happening; as we all already know too well, Biden will face no just reckoning whatsoever for his treason, not of any sort or severity. But that’s equally true of impeachment, which is no more likely than executing the repulsive scoundrel is. So as long as we’re just spinning ridiculous fantasies here, why not go balls to the wall with it? Hang Joe Biden treason, I say, and right straight to Hell with the rotten cocksucker.

Oh, and just in case you thought this wasn’t disgusting enough for ya yet, there’s another emetic twist.

The Biden Administration Sold 950,000 Barrels of Precious Strategic Petroleum Reserve Oil to a China Firm Which Hunter Biden Just Happens To Own a Huge Stake In

I wish I could honestly say I found it shocking in the least that a brazen act of treason wouldn’t be quite sleazy enough to suit the egomania of a career grifter like Traitor Joe Biden. No, he felt he just had to class things up even more by tacking on some of the tawdry grift he’s been notorious for his whole life, too.

What a guy, eh?

Give the dirty son of a bitch one thing, though: nobody has ever considered Joe Biden to be an outstanding or superlative example of…well, of anything at all, really. Even in the Vice and Corruption category, he wasn’t ever going to bring home any awards. The stupid, fumbling stumblebum was strictly a mediocrity, nothing particularly notable or special about the oxygen thief. But by compounding high treason with the Biden Crime Family’s trademark grubby, bargain-basement peculation, Traitor Joe has raised the bar on cheap graft and embezzlement higher than its ever been before, against all previous expectations. May he and every one of his repellent clan be long remembered for their patriarch’s feat.

9

Spade=spade

Treason, straight up.

Joe Biden is busy blaming gas station owners for the soaring prices of filling up at the pump.

Why, those dirty birds!

It’s his latest scheme to deflect blame for the nasty price shocks he’s brought on us, with gas going for about $5 a gallon nationwide, and $6-something in tax-happy, save-the-planet California.

He’s also blamed Putin, Big Oil producers, oil refineries, Republicans, and anyone but himself when it’s obvious enough that the root of the problem is his crush-the-oil-industry policies that he launched on day one in the name of “going green.” Combine it with his monster rounds of federal money-printing, which has brought on authentic inflation, and it’s a double-whammy of inflation and constrained supply.

Oh, but rest assured, he says he’s the good guy here:

I promise you I’m doing everything possible — everything possible to bring the price of energy down, gas prices down. And I want to make sure we all work on this together.

So he babbled. That’s from the White House official transcript.

His “everything possible” is weasel words. What he means is everything possible for him politically to bring down prices, not everything possible that will result actual price-cutting at the pump.

That’s why he’s failed refused to reverse his horrible decisions on the Keystone XL pipeline from Canada,

FIFY, Monica mine.

which would have brought America all the energy it needed, or reverse his bad decisions on drilling on federal land and waters, which would have restored American energy independence and maybe even made the U.S. an exporter of energy again. Those would be moves he could just throw the word out he was doing and would have brought energy prices down at least somewhat, minus the cost of Fed-generated inflation, given the importance of the futures market to energy trading. Instead, he’s gone begging the Saudis and Venezuelans to pump more oil for him and released about half the Strategic Petroleum Reserves, using it as an open-market mechanism to blunt the effect his bad policies rather than for the emergencies it’s intended to address. None of this has brought down the price of oil.

Think I was engaging in a little over-the-top rhetoricization with that “treason” business, do ya? Where is all this “treason,” forsooth? Gird your loins, O ye doubting Thomasii.

Now we learn that a huge chunk of this oil has gone abroad — to Europe, which, like the grasshopper that never bothered to save for a rainy day, what with Putin on the march demanding to be paid in rubles for his oil and natural gas, has left the continent short. Putin’s doing great on the price of petroleum, having lots of markets to sell to if Europe won’t buy from him, and the Russian ruble has strengthened. Worse still, a lot of this SPR release has gone to Asia, particularly China, which isn’t using it to fuel gas stations.

According to Reuters, which broke the story, it’s some 5 million barrels in just the last month alone, arriving at China’s Pacific ports.

The American Energy Alliance points out that it’s actually worse than it looks. China isn’t even using the oil; it’s stockpiling it for its own strategic petroleum reserves, meaning the U.S. oil taken off the market is not helping to lower the price of crude even on a worldwide basis.

I’m not an unreasonable man. That being so, I am perfectly willing to stipulate that Fuck(ing) Jaux Biden might actually NOT be the sorriest sumvabitch who ever shat behind a pair of shoes. But with this revoltin’ development, it couldn’t be more obvious that that ain’t the way to bet.

Oh, for the halcyon days of yore, when we used to hang scuzznuggets who pulled shit like this by their necks until they were dead, dead, DEAD. If this ain’t treason, I hope to never, ever see whatever is.

Apropos of nothing…

So I spent my afternoon earlier today driving a car with 2-60 a/c (2 windows down, 60 miles an hour) all over Hell and half of Georgia in search of a decent used tire to replace a decrepit old baldy* so’s the thing could hopefully pass inspection on the way to making it street-legal again after it had been sitting all those months while I languished in hospital durance vile. None of the correct size to be found anywhere, alas, which was maddening.

Anyhoo, at my fifth and final stop before throwing up my hands in abject defeat, I was chatting with the store’s manager, an attractive, nicely-dressed blonde woman probably in or around her early forties, near as I could make out. Taking a hint from several statements she had made, I told her I figured it might be safe to say that she knew who a certain Klaus Schwab might be.

Much to my delight, she snorted with disgust and barked, “The most evil scumbag on earth, that’s who!” I guffawed loud and long at that vehement response, telling her she’d just made my day after I finally regained my composure and caught my breath again. Which, she sure did. Proving once again that you just never know about people, and shouldn’t make assumptions about them out of hand.

But if that ain’t a hopeful sign, I don’t know what might be.

* I always get my money’s worth out of my tires, running ’em till they’re showing cord at the edges; I’ve punctured a thumb more than once while changing ’em myself, let me tell ya

Putting fossil fuels into perspective

They power a lot more than just our automobiles.

Fossil fuel powers the economic engine of civilization. With a minor disruption in the supply of fossil fuel, crops wither, and supply chains crash. With a major disruption, a humanitarian apocalypse could engulf the world. Events of the past few months have made this clear. Without energy, civilization dies, and in 2020 fossil fuels continued to provide more than 80 percent of all energy consumed worldwide.

This basic fact, that maintaining a reliable supply of affordable fossil fuel is a nonnegotiable condition for the survival of civilization, currently eludes far too many American politicians, including Joe Biden. Observes energy expert and two-time candidate for governor of California Michael Shellenberger: “One month ago, the Biden administration killed a one-million-acre oil and gas lease sale in Alaska, and seven days ago killed new on-shore oil and gas leases in the continental U.S. In fact, at this very moment, the Biden administration is considering a total ban on new offshore oil and gas drilling.”

Another basic fact, easily confirmed by consulting the 2021 edition of the BP Statistical Review of Global Energy, is that if every person living on Earth were to consume half as much energy per year as the average American currently consumes, global energy production would need to nearly double. Instead of producing 547 exajoules (the mega unit of energy currently favored by economists) per year, energy producers worldwide would need to come up with just over 1,000 exajoules. How exactly will “renewables,” currently delivering 32 exajoules per year, or six percent of global energy, expand by a factor of 30 to deliver 1,000 exajoules?

The short answer is, it can’t. Despite the fanatical, powerful group-think that calls for the abolition of not only fossil fuels but also most hydroelectric power and all nuclear power, the reality is that most nations of the world are going to continue to develop every source of energy they can, and they’re going to do it as fast as they can.

Well, the smart ones will. Sadly, that would seem to exclude any of them currently being misruled by Senile Joe Biden and/or his shadowy Deep State handlers.

“At a time of war,” Biden wrote in an open letter to the industry on June 15, “high refinery profit margins being passed directly onto American families are not acceptable… companies must take immediate actions to increase the supply of gasoline, diesel, and other refined product.”

But US refineries are already operating at 94 percent of their capacity, with US refineries in the Gulf of Mexico running at 98 percent, which is the highest rate in 30 years. Running refineries at a higher capacity than that risks damaging the equipment. As such, Biden isn’t just wrong, he insulted some of the hardest working people operating in one of the most dangerous industries in America.

If Biden wants more American fuel, then he should allow the building of new refineries, right?

That’s the last thing FJB wants, as is evidenced by his actions, which as always speak louder than words.

But, on May 12, Biden’s Interior Department blocked a proposal to open up more than one million acres of land in Alaska for oil and gas drilling. Two days later, Biden’s Environmental Protection Agency blocked plans to expand an oil refinery in the US Virgin Islands.

Biden and his defenders said he had to block the expansion of the Virgin Islands refinery, given how polluting it was.

But had Biden’s EPA allowed the Virgin Island refinery to expand, the owners would have poured nearly $3 billion into retrofitting the plant so it produced gasoline and other products more cleanly, while significantly increasing production at the same time.

In truth, there are many things Biden could have done, and still should do, to lower energy prices. He could invoke the National Defense Act to accelerate the rate of oil and gas permits. He could set a floor of $80/barrel for re-filling the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR), which would be a powerful incentive for the industry, because it would prevent prices from falling to unprofitable levels. Biden could announce trade agreements with American allies to supply them with liquified natural gas, which would incentivize more natural gas production and lower prices.

If Biden got America on a wartime footing, as he should be given Russia’s aggression in Europe, we would see the lowering of oil, gas and petroleum prices in less than one year.

Why won’t Biden do it? Because he has declared war on fossil fuels. “I guarantee you, we’re going to end fossil fuel,” Biden promised a student climate activist in 2019. “I am not going to cooperate with them,” he said, referring to the oil and gas industry.

And indeed, he hasn’t. When oil and gas executives visited the White House in June, Biden snubbed them by refusing to attend the meeting. Instead, at the very same moment, he met with wind industry executives. A few days earlier, Biden administration officials signaled they may support a large new tax on the oil industry proposed by a Senator from Oregon.

All of this has soured the oil and gas industry on investing in production. “If you were an oil company,” a senior executive at a major US bank told me, why would you invest hundreds of millions of dollars into expanding refining capacity if you thought the federal government or investors would shut you down in the next few years? The narrative coming from the administration is absolutely insane.”

Of course it is. Leaving Biden’s personal cognitive impairment out of it, as the venerable old truism has it: liberalism delenda est. It just floors me that, with Biden-caused disaster on every front, the clod’s approval numbers nonetheless remain in the 30-40 percent range, instead of around 10 or 12 percent where they truly belong. Back to the first article for our thrilling conclusion.

According to the most authoritative source on energy in the world, total proven reserves of fossil fuel currently total 49,023 exajoules. This means that just with proven reserves, and if only fossil fuel were used, and if global energy consumption were doubled to 1,000 exajoules per year, there would still be a 50-year supply of energy. How much more fossil fuel can be extracted from unproven reserves is anybody’s guess, but it is a safe bet that twice as much more is available, meaning there’s at least another century’s worth of fossil fuel even if we used nothing else to power civilization.

The benefits of abundant cheap energy are obvious: prosperity and voluntary population stabilization. In the decades to come, other forms of energy will be further developed. If hydroelectric power doubles, while nuclear power and renewables both go up by an order of magnitude, the three together would provide 636 exajoules of power per year. Under that scenario, fossil-fuel use could remain near current levels, and total global energy production would still double to 1,000 exajoules.

What is impossible, however, is for renewables alone to achieve this level of growth. More than half of renewable energy today comes from biofuel and biomass, which—ironically—is already wreaking havoc across the tropics as hundreds of thousands of square miles of rainforest are incinerated to make room for cane ethanol and palm oil plantations. And then there are the minerals required for the wind turbine towers, the silicon photovoltaics, and the billions of megawatt-hours of battery farm capacity. Where are the Malthusians when you need them?

Same place they always were—everywhere you look, for as far as the eye can see—in the bodily posture typical of their kind: with their heads jammed so far up their flues they have to yawn to see daylight. There’s a good reason why the ceaseless warnings of impending disaster issued by such as they never quite come to fruition: the purblind boobs arrive at their dire conclusions by projecting current conditions into the future unaltered, never taking technological advancement, human ingenuity and adaptability, and the ineluctable flux and churn of life on this planet into account.

Doomsday predictions can make for moderately interesting reading now and then, but ought to be taken no more seriously than you do your daily horoscope, the extended weather forecast, or your chances of winning gazillions playing the Powerball. Harmless entertainment, if that’s your bag, but not necessarily reliable indicators of what tomorrow will bring.

Update! Don’t let FJB’s play-acting at being “concerned” by the suffering his hideously expensive gas prices is inflicting on ordinary Americans fool you. This is exactly what he and his fellow shitlibs have dreamed of for years and years.

If you had the unpleasant experience this July Fourth weekend of paying close to $5 for a gallon of gas, you can always comfort yourself with the idea that your pain is for a good cause: the “liberal world order.”

So said Brian Deese, White House director of the National Economic Council, when he was asked on CNN: “What do you say to those families who say, ‘Listen, we can’t afford to pay $4.85 a gallon for months, if not years. This is just not sustainable’?”

Deese, like his boss Joe Biden, is unmoved by the suffering of ordinary Americans, more than two-thirds of whom say gas-price increases are causing them hardship, according to a recent Gallup poll.

“This is about the future of the liberal world order, and we have to stand firm” until Ukraine defeats Russia, declared Deese.
He was echoing the president, who had referenced the Ukraine war a few hours earlier in Madrid, when he dismissed a similar question: “The war has pushed prices up. [Oil] could go as high as $200 a barrel…How long is it fair to expect American drivers and drivers around the world to pay that premium for this war?”

Biden responded with cold indifference: “As long as it takes,” he said.

If only there was some way Real Americans could properly thank him for it.

Preview of coming attractions

They got away scot-free with it in 2020, so they’d NEVER try it again. Right?

Wrong.

The signs of impending election manipulation on a national scale are all around us, if you have eyes to see and ears to hear them.  It’s already manifesting itself in a minor way, and that’ll gear up to a hurricane by November.

Consider these recent headlines:

  • Something Stinks in Colorado – How did an unknown candidate like Mike O’Donnell manage to garner as many votes as a national political figure like Tina Peters? This question, ladies and gentlemen, is what leads you down the rabbit hole of America’s bogus election system.
  • How Did A Zuckerberg Charity Stooge Win A GOP Primary In Colorado? – Isn’t it strange that the director of Mark Zuckerberg’s private election charity for Democrats (on temporary leave!) just won the most important election integrity race in Colorado — and a GOP primary no less — as a write-in candidate with a 35 point polling swing with no money and no visible support from Republicans? One more thing: Colorado uses Dominion Voting Machines.
  • Several NYC Election Sites Had ‘No Republican Ballots’ During Last Week’s Primary.
  • The Fix Is In – Democrats Start to Prep America for Their Mid-Term Steal.
  • Letter from a Reader on the Democrats’ Plans to Steal the 2022 Election.
  • EXCLUSIVE: FOIAs Reveal Progressive Money Fueling FBI, DOJ, Leftist Activist and Election Official Coordination – Freedom of information requests have uncovered oddball and opaque relationships between some state election officials, federal officials, corporations, progressive activists, and those trying to influence the conduct of those same election officials…this fluid consortium has built structures that match powerful funding—with fringe ideological activists, with government offices—in an effort to…reorient the administration of elections in ways that benefit progressives, such as wide use of automatic mail voting.

I still have contacts in the Department of Justice, dating back to my days as a prison chaplain. Some of those with whom I had contact in those days, in more than one federal agency, have now reached relatively senior rank. I spoke with a few of them last week, and every one confirmed that there seems to be an air of blithe confidence in the upper reaches of federal government bureaucracy that the Biden administration will be able to continue with its programs, no matter what happens in November. It’s being blatantly referred to as “business as usual, before and after November”. Strange, that, when you read headlines like “Joe Biden and Democrats Stare Into the Abyss After Latest Poll Drops”. It doesn’t sound like the progressive left is staring into any abyss that worries them, does it? – particularly when you read the articles linked above.

Supporting links throughout, which as usual I didn’t transcribe. Bayou Pete has tons more, nearly all of it as disheartening as it is deeply, deeply disturbing. In sum:

Folks, we saw massive electoral manipulation in November 2020. Call it what you like, legal or illegal, valid or invalid, it’s my personal opinion that it amounted to nothing more or less than electoral fraud – a deliberate distortion of the overall popular vote by manipulating certain targeted areas and their voters. I think what we saw then is a pale shadow of what we’re going to see in November 2022. The powers that be are bound and determined that they’re not going to lose control of the House and/or Senate, no matter how unpopular their party may have become; and they have (or believe they have) the tools to make sure that happens, no matter what the will of the electorate may be. They’re going to use every one of those tools, and then some, to win. They are already using them, as the articles linked above demonstrate.

As individuals, we can’t affect what may happen on a national scale;  but we can affect what happens on a local scale. If you care about our constitutional republic, and the democratic expression of the will of the people, please get involved. Volunteer as a poll watcher, or a vote counter, or whatever posts may be available in your area. Support those who are trying to run the election honestly, and watch like a hawk those who are doing otherwise. Speak out. Make sure the election administrators in your area know they’re under scrutiny. Get their names, addresses and other information that may help in future when it comes to dealing with the consequences of any shenanigans.

We know the electoral manipulation tsunami is coming. Let’s start preparing now, so that in its aftermath we can deal with the damage and minimize its long-term effects. Also, no matter how optimistic the forecasts, don’t assume that any side or party has the November 2022 elections “in the bag”. Anything can (and may well) happen between now and then. I expect the dirty tricks to fly thick and fast before we get to the voting booth.

At this stage of the game, Praetorian Media’s continuing, nonchalant dismissal of “Trump’s baseless, unsupported charges” of election chicanery are enough to make any Real American want to puke…or, perhaps, do something a little more, shall we say, kinetically proactive in response.

You guys already know my feelings about all this, so I’ll spare you any further belaboring of that particular point for the nonce. As I’ve said before, it really makes one wonder just how long such shenanigans have been part and parcel of our national “elections,” do it not?

Comments policy

NOTE: In order to comment, you must be registered and approved as a CF user. Since so many user-registrations are attempted by spam-bots for their own nefarious purposes, YOUR REGISTRATION MAY BE ERRONEOUSLY DENIED.

If you are in fact a legit hooman bean desirous of registering yourself a CF user name so as to be able to comment only to find yourself caught up as collateral damage in one of my irregularly (un)scheduled sweeps for hinky registration attempts, please shoot me a kite at the email addy over in the right sidebar and let me know so’s I can get ya fixed up manually.

ALSO NOTE: You MUST use a valid, legit email address in order to successfully register, the new anti-spam software I installed last night requires it. My thanks to Barry for all his help sorting this mess out last night.

Comments appear entirely at the whim of the guy who pays the bills for this site and may be deleted, ridiculed, maliciously edited for purposes of mockery, or otherwise pissed over as he in his capricious fancy sees fit. The CF comments section is pretty free-form and rough and tumble; tolerance level for rowdiness and misbehavior is fairly high here, but is NOT without limit.

Management is under no obligation whatever to allow the comments section to be taken over and ruined by trolls, Leftists, and/or other oxygen thieves, and will take any measures deemed necessary to prevent such. Conduct yourself with the merest modicum of decorum, courtesy, and respect and you'll be fine. Pick pointless squabbles with other commenters, fling provocative personal insults, issue threats, or annoy the host (me) and...you won't.

Should you find yourself sanctioned after running afoul of the CF comments policy as stated and feel you have been wronged, please download and complete the Butthurt Report form below in quadruplicate; retain one copy for your personal records and send the others to the email address posted in the right sidebar.

Please refrain from whining, sniveling, and/or bursting into tears and waving your chubby fists around in frustrated rage, lest you suffer an aneurysm or stroke unnecessarily. Your completed form will be reviewed and your complaint addressed whenever management feels like getting around to it. Thank you.

“The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it’s profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater.”
Frank Zappa

“The right of a nation to kill a tyrant in case of necessity can no more be doubted than to hang a robber, or kill a flea.”

"I predict that the Bush administration will be seen by freedom-wishing Americans a generation or two hence as the hinge on the cell door locking up our freedom. When my children are my age, they will not be free in any recognizably traditional American meaning of the word. I’d tell them to emigrate, but there’s nowhere left to go. I am left with nauseating near-conviction that I am a member of the last generation in the history of the world that is minimally truly free."
Donald Sensing

"The only way to live free is to live unobserved."
Etienne de la Boiete

"History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid."

"There is no better way to stamp your power on people than through the dead hand of bureaucracy. You cannot reason with paperwork."
David Black, from Turn Left For Gibraltar

"If the laws of God and men, are therefore of no effect, when the magistracy is left at liberty to break them; and if the lusts of those who are too strong for the tribunals of justice, cannot be otherwise restrained than by sedition, tumults and war, those seditions, tumults and wars, are justified by the laws of God and man."
John Adams

"The limits of tyranny are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress."
Frederick Douglass

"Give me the media and I will make of any nation a herd of swine."
Joseph Goebbels

“I hope we once again have reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: As government expands, liberty contracts.”
Ronald Reagan

"Ain't no misunderstanding this war. They want to rule us and aim to do it. We aim not to allow it. All there is to it."
