Killers in our midst

A tale creepy enough to freeze the blood.

SINCE 1970, more than ninety serial murderers around the world have been convicted after operating in hospitals, long-term care homes, and private residences with elderly charges. Between them, these nurses (mainly) and doctors (a few) have killed or injured over 600 people; an additional 2,600 deaths are connected to them but unproven. The caregiver killer deploys a subtle arsenal of insulin and opiates and pillows over faces. They hasten a person’s demise by doping them with already-prescribed drugs at higher doses, or they induce heart attacks or strokes. Another forty health care workers in this time period evaded conviction for lack of evidence beyond reasonable doubt. In the Gosport War Memorial Hospital, in England, for instance, a female physician presided over 456 deaths due to inappropriate prescribing of opioids between 1987 and 2001, with another 200 patients considered to be her possible victims. Although she was censured for “professional misconduct,” her licence wasn’t even suspended, much less was she prosecuted for manslaughter or murder.

What this means is that we could be talking about 130 suspected serial killers in North America and Europe—dozens of John Wayne Gacys and Jeffrey Dahmers—in the last half century. And these are only the ones known or suspected. There have been other care homes and hospitals with highly suspicious death rates that have never been fully explained. Like the red-light district and the lonely highway, institutional care settings are prime hunting grounds for the modern serial killer.

Aside from the home, these care homes and hospitals are also the main source of victims for women who kill. We don’t fully understand what separates these women from others of their gender. But more than half of health care serial killers are female, according to Southern California University nursing professor Beatrice Crofts Yorker. By that measure, there have been at least forty-five of them in the years since the FBI established its Behavioral Science Unit at Quantico, the subject of Netflix’s Mindhunter—even though the leaders of the unit declared to this author personally that all serial killers were male.

In 2015, psychologist Marissa Harrison and a group of women colleagues published a review of female serial killers that found they “tend to carry out their crimes over a longer period of time, have more victims . . . are frequently nurses or serve some other caretaker role.” They choose “victims who had little or no chance of fighting back.” The FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit may not have noticed it, but the phenomenon is hardly new. In the nineteenth century, American nurse Jane Topping confessed to thirty-one murders of patients in Massachusetts. In England, nurse Catherine Wilson was caught poisoning her frail charges in the 1850s and 1860s. In the early 1900s, Amelia Sach and Annie Walters ran an adoption business in the UK, but instead of rehoming the babies, they smothered or poisoned them; the total number of victims was thought to be in the dozens. Amy Archer-Gilligan, born one Halloween night in the late nineteenth century, murdered husbands to cash in life insurance policies that financed the nursing homes she ran, whose residents she poisoned. (In popular culture, her crime spree sparked a comedic play, Arsenic and Old Lace, which nicely sums up the difference in how we regard serial killers by gender.)

In July 2018, a British health care worker was arrested on the suspicion that she had murdered eight babies and tried to kill six others while she worked at the Countess of Chester Hospital, in northwestern England. Days later, there were reports that a Japanese nurse had been arrested on the suspicion that she’d injected disinfectant into intravenous bags, killing approximately twenty elderly patients in her care at a Yokohama hospital. So, this subgenre of serial murderer continues to flourish. The question worth asking ourselves is whether we aren’t looking for such killers because we don’t truly value their victims or because we cannot abandon the image of nurturing women.

I long ago developed something of an interest in the serial-murder aberration, and have read up on it a fair-ish bit over the years. Because of that, I knew already that the widespread perception of serial killers being almost exclusively white males afflicted with some kind of crippling sexual disorder, psychological or physical, is complete baloney. There are also vitally important distinctions to be made between serial killers, spree killers, and mass murderers which are ignored as a rule, except among homicide investigators, crime scene techs, and other folks who specialize in such dreadful matters.

The reality is that there have always been many more active serial killers prowling the land for prey than any of us would prefer to believe, and that although there are some commonalities to be found among ’em, the absence of reliably hard and fast markers such as gender, ethnicity, income, or intellectual capacity makes them extremely difficult to identify and apprehend. Which is why most of them…aren’t. It might not be entirely accurate to call the awful story of Madison, Wisconsin’s Capital City Killer* a typical one. But it wouldn’t be entirely accurate to say that it isn’t, either.

The only assumption it’s ever safe to make as to what ingredients are essential in the making of these monsters is a complete lack of empathy for the victims—an absence confirmed by the offense itself, rendered supremely useless for investigative purposes by its painful obviousness. Contrary to the common notion that serial killers are social maladroits who find normal, casual interaction with others all but impossible, they’re often quite charming and personable people. As the old saying goes: Ted Bundy didn’t have horns and a tail.

All in all, the facts paint a pretty scary picture for us. Serial killers aren’t necessarily easy to identify, which likewise makes it easier to become ensnared by them. Not all of their victims are stupid, unobservant hookers, intoxicated homeless people, or naive waifs. The escalating intensity of the urge to kill that drives a serial killer creates in them a persistence and single-mindedness when on the hunt that can sometimes be the only way to recognize and avoid them. The line between sensible caution and absurd paranoia is one the serial killer finds easy to blur or erase in their intended victims, a skill honed by a lifetime of manipulation, concealment, and deception. The penalty for failure to keep to the right side of that line is ordinarily an argument, maybe even an ugly end to a formerly treasured relationship. With a serial killer, though, the penalty for not paying strictest attention to the line is death.

* A soulless fiend identified only after an arduous forty-year pursuit by an early victims’ closest friend and fellow UW-Mad student, Linda Tomaszewski. He was never apprehended or tried mainly due to police corruption, bungling, disinterest, and intentional cover-up, and the case is still officially unresolved. The killer’s journey begins in Africa with the massacre of an entire tribal village, the bloody opening act of a nightmarish carnival of death whose decades-long run closed only after a US tour spanning the entire continent. It’s one of those stories marred by a most unsatisfactory ending: the demonic protagonist dies peacefully in his bed at a ripe old age, smugly taunting Tomaszewski with tacit acknowledgment of his guilt, unmolested by the hand of justice to the last. And yes, he was also a doctor, as it turns out. Go figure.

An aside: the book linked on the other end of the asterisk (Mad City: The True Story of the Campus Murders That America Forgot) is a meticulously-researched, somewhat scholarly account written by a former LEO and criminologist, for any of you weirdos who might share my interest in this admittedly unsettling topic. It might be a bit dry for some tastes, but to me the absence of leering prurience or melodrama is a good thing. YMMV, as always, but I really enjoyed it myself. For an even deeper dive into this darkest of pits, I also recommend the free download (in PDF) of the FBI’s seminal 2008 report Serial Murder: Multi-Disciplinary Perspectives for Investigators, which is universally hailed even today as the most thorough and useful study yet undertaken on the behavior, methods, and motivations of these enigmatic predators.

UNEXPECTED!!™

Nothing in this op-ed we all don’t already know, really. But there’s a huge shocker to be found therein nonetheless, which I will reveal anon.

When the current regime in Washington, D.C. says they are “going after violent extremists,” they mean patriots.

So here we are, 20 years after 9/11, and not only is America much farther away from defeating the jihadis and communists, the communists just seized executive power in the United States one month ago.

On January 30, MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace suggested that Trump supporters who “incited violence” at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021 be convicted just like Al Qaeda’s leader in Yemen, Anwar al-Awlaki, who also “incited violence” and was killed in a U.S. drone strike in September 2011.

Put aside the fact for a moment that Nicolle Wallace lied when she said that al-Awlaki was killed because he “incited violence.” Awlaki was actually killed because he was the leader of Al Qaeda in Yemen and responsible for jihad attacks inside the United States.

The fact that the propaganda arm of the U.S. communist/jihadi cabal, the traditional media, is openly calling for violence against Americans exercising their unalienable right to freely express themselves and hold the federal government accountable when it is ruled by those hostile to the Constitution should alarm and alert all thoughtful patriots.

The point is clear. The U.S. government under the current communist regime in the White House will use and is using its full power to suppress and eliminate opposition.

The communists/democrats did it to President Trump when they traitorously and unlawfully used the FBI, CIA, DNI, and other agencies to spy on him, his family, and his staff.

They are doing and will do it to citizens.

Of course they will. It’s in their nature to do so—a simple fact with a century’s worth of historical record to back it up, which none but a witless cretin could possibly dispute or find surprising by now. No, the jawdropper revelation contained in this otherwise fairly run-of-the-mill article, which you’d better sit down before reading, is in the author’s bio:

Former FBI special agent John Guandolo has recently warned that the current, fraudulent and illegitimate regime headed by China Joe Biden claims that they will be targeting “violent extremists,” but the reality is that they are actually going after American patriots.

Well, I will be dipped in shit and deep-fried. Looks like we may have found the one and only honest, right-thinking FBI man at long, long last. Musta slipped by the screening and psych-evals somehow. Hope he has a bodyguard or three standing by, just in case.

Publick Notice

So after many months of stalling and dithering on my part—leading to a good swift boot in the ass from a good friend of mine who has appointed himself my partner in this venture, so as to goad me into finally doing something I’ve been extremely reluctant to do—I am, umm, pleased to announce that all the pieces are now in place allowing me to get to work in earnest on Ye Olde RadioCF Podcaste. Meaning, all the necessary startup gear has been rounded up; I’ve put together an archive page for the thing; cobbled together some theme music; settled on vital conceptual minutiae like format and features, etc. I’m even now working on some rough script outlines and trying to figure out how said hardware works, and expect to begin actual recording in about two weeks or so.

We’ll see how it all goes, I reckon. It’s gonna be audio only, at least for now and most likely permanently, since I have no wish to inflict my scarifying elderly visage on anyone via video, and it would only be just me and another guy sitting around talking anyway. It won’t be all politics all the time either, not a-tall. At the moment, the plan is to include:

  • A regular music segment, with recordings and historical tidbits featuring old blues, rockabilly, country, and maybe classic rock
  • A regular American history segment, with brief bios and quotes from the Founders, analysis and discussion of their intentions, maybe some overview of the Constitution and how our goobermint is supposed to work, as contrasted with the toxic sludge-pit we’re currently cursed by
  • A regular political/current events rant, which will probably be a bit lengthier timewise than the rest
  • The occasional celebrity and/or public-figure interview, as and when
  • Occasional random odds ‘n’ ends about old Fords, old Harleys, old guitars and amps, Snap-On tools, and whatever else pops up
  • Other stuff (???)

I also really dig the idea of throwing in some fake interviews, kinda-sorta stealth comedy a la the great Phil Hendry, a guy I used to love listening to back in my truck-driving years. It was always a toss-up as to which aspect of the Hendry schtick was more gut-bustingly hilarious: the goofball characters Hendry would (self-)interview, or the rubes who called in to froth and rave in objection to the outlandish, made-up flakes and freaks Hendry had just suckered them with so slyly. Hell, there were times when I wasn’t quite sure myself if an interview was on the level, although as the night wore on and things started to get progressively more chaotic and out of hand the hoax became obvious, and was all the funnier for it. Successfully aping Hendry might well be beyond my ability, I confess; I am by no means the talented professional comic Hendry is, not even close. Again: we’ll see.

Per the advice of a certain other buddy of mine—an experienced and well-connected broadcast media pro who is responsible for pushing me in the podcast direction in the first place—the schedule calls for one thirty (30) minute RadioCF ep per week. New installments will probably drop on Wednesday evenings, or perhaps Fridays. Or Mondays. As you can see, that part is still up in the air. But we’ll definitely be sticking to a regular release shedule once things get cranking.

Anyways, there ya have it. I’ve never had the slightest interest in podcasts for some odd reason, either doing ’em myself or listening to ’em. In truth, I’ve only ever listened to precisely one of the blasted things, which was an interview by the above-mentioned media-connected friend with legendary rock and roll producer Rodney Mills, who as it happens was also the engineer/producer on the BPs live rekkid, One Nite of Sin.

In the end, the only way I could finally bring myself to go ahead an attempt a podcast of my own was by using the old radio shows done by iconic Golden Age platter jockeys such as Murray the K or the insanely brilliant Pete “Mad Daddy” Myers as my guide and model.

The whole idea here, then, will be to maintain my own interest in this project and keep things fresh for one and all via refusing to recognize any restrictions on subject matter, concept, or anything else. There may be some wild ideas expressed, or well-outside-the-mainstream points of view presented. There may be music you don’t much care for, other things you may find offensive or obnoxious. I can pretty much guarantee there will be cussin’.

That’s the real beauty of podcasting, though. As with the Innarnuts entire, there ARE no restrictions. It’s the Wild West plus Mardi Gras times Mad Max—no limits, no hidden surcharge, no holds barred. Likewise, I am under NO “fair play” obligations; there is no “equal time” rule I’m aware of for podcasts. So you can safely assume that, except for purposes of ridicule and insult, Leftism will have no home here, to stab them with their own lazy lackwitticism. Hopefully, we can come up with a show each week that’s fun, interesting, rollicking, even informative for y’all CF miscreants and scoundrels to enjoy. Once more: we’ll see how it goes.

Off the pigs turtles!

Profiles in “courage,” Congresscreature-style.

Senator Mitch McConnell used the Senate floor to brutally trash Donald Trump after the former president was found not guilty at the impeachment trial.

The speech was so unhinged that it could have just as easily came from Nancy Pelosi.

McConnell did not hold back as he ripped Trump apart for a “disgraceful dereliction of duty” and attempting to “overturn the election.”

He claimed that the protesters stormed the Capitol because they had been “fed wild falsehoods by the most powerful man on earth,” and that Trump was “practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of the day.”

“There’s no question – none – that President Trump is practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of the day,” McConnell said.

McConnell went on to say that “this was an intensifying crescendo of conspiracy theories” by a president who seemed determined to overturn the will of the voters or “torch” institutions on the way out.

The anti-Trump Republican did vote “not guilty” before giving the ridiculous speech.

The “man” is a piece of shit—loathsome, execrable, vile, bereft of any redeeming quality. Him, and all his fellows. The day their filthy carcasses become Mordor On The Potomac lamppost decorations can’t come soon enough to suit me. But wait, it gets even worse, if you can believe it.

Fucking scum. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: for someone belonging to a class of people who are supposedly scared to death of We The People, Yertle McTurtle sure seems awfully confident of his armor-plated invulnerability, don’t he? It’s apparent to me that, however afraid they might or might not be, they aren’t afraid enough.

Not yet.

If it ain’t true, it oughta be

Trump Ron DeSantis is MY President, by God.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on Wednesday did not mince words on a congested conference call with Biden and federal health authorities who are seeking to prohibit domestic travel to and from the Sunshine State. DeSantis and Biden exchanged salvos of biting barbs after the criminal president said the federal government had authority to “restrict movement” of the people.

Citing concerns over the widespread proliferation of Covid-19 variants, Biden said he might have to prohibit vehicle and air traffic until the CDC and NIH were confident that currently available vaccinations had a proven efficacy against emerging strains, such as highly transmissible anomalies from the United Kingdom, Brazil, and South Africa.

Also on the call were “Deep State” Dr. Fauci and acting CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, both of whom championed Biden’s idea and told DeSantis that surging cases in Florida threatened to undermine the federal government’s expansive efforts to mitigate spread across the country. Florida, Dr. Fauci said, was the epicenter of Covid-19 mutations, and argued that new variants accounted for between 15-35% of new cases in Florida.

Walensky argued on the call that any attempt by DeSantis to resist a federally mandated travel ban would be immoral, selfish, and possibly illegal.

Biden echoed her words, and he berated DeSantis for having left Florida’s economy open during “the dark days of Covid.” Moreover, Biden claimed he had unilateral and constitutional authority to protect the nation’s health from “rogue politicians” acting in contravention of established health guidelines.

DeSantis’s initial reply was brief and blunt: “I will not comply,” he said, and then cited the CDC’s own statistics showing a nationwide decline in active Covid-19 cases.

There’s not a single syllable uttered by DeSantis here* that I don’t violently agree with (yeah, I said violently, and I damned well meant to) and endorse with all my blackened heart and blasted soul. Most especially this last part:

DeSantis told Dr. Fauci he trusted his own state health authorities over financially incentivized federal officials.

“How much do you stand to earn from these vaccines, Dr. Fauci? And, Joe, if you continue with this course of action, I will authorize the state National Guard to protect the movement of Floridians,” DeSantis said.

“Address me as Mr. President or President Biden,” Biden said.

“I will not, and you can go fuck yourself,” DeSantis said before hanging up.

*According to this article, at any rate; I’ve just been told my a friend of mine that the story has since been debunked. I don’t know if that’s so, and I don’t care. The quote may be Fake, but it’s as Accurate as they come.

Via Bill, who is somewhat skeptical but nonetheless enthusiastic himself:

I hope, hope, hope this is true. It’s probably too good to try to fact-check, but I would try, if I knew how.

It sounds real, though, especially the imperial hauteur of the Fraud-in-Chief.

Remember when Biden thought that the worst a politician might say to him would come via a mean Trump tweet?

Well, we’re moving on to a little harsher stage now. And Crooked Joe and his entire crime family, along with his communist cadre, can all go fuck themselves.

Remember, soft secession and nullification begins with a hearty “Fuck You, Joe!”

Bingo. “Go fuck yourself, Joe” ought to be the watchwords of our age, in the hearts and on the lips of every Real American from this day forward.

Update! Just revisited the piece out of curiosity, and lo and behold, they’ve added an update:

Addendum: We are aware that various so-called fact checking agencies are disputing our account of the telephone call, claiming that the governor’s office has denied the event happened. These so-called fact checking parties are run by the Democratic Deep State. Real Raw News stands by our story and its source, and we would love to see DeSantis comment on it personally.

So would I, buddy, so would I. I doubt that’s at all likely to happen, for all sorts of perfectly good reasons. But if DeSantis should decide to speak up and stand by the story and the quotes therein, I swear I’d follow the man through the very gates of Hell, with a song in my heart and a smile on my face every step of the fucking way.

Unstuck, and staying that way

The good rabbi lists 31 of ’em, and they’re all good. But really, that’s about thirty more than I need.

31 Reasons Why I Won’t Take the Vaccine

  1. It’s not a vaccine. A vaccine by definition provides immunity to a disease. This does not provide immunity to anything. In a best-case scenario, it merely reduces the chance of getting a severe case of a virus if one catches it. Hence, it is a medical treatment, not a vaccine. I do not want to take a medical treatment for an illness I do not have.
  2. The drug companies, politicians, medical establishment, and media have joined forces to universally refer to this as a vaccine when it is not one, with the intention of manipulating people into feeling safer about undergoing a medical treatment. Because they are being deceitful, I do not trust them, and want nothing to do with their medical treatment.
  3. The presumed benefits of this medical treatment are minimal and would not last long in any case. The establishment acknowledges this, and is already talking about additional shots and ever-increasing numbers of new “vaccines” that would be required on a regular basis. I refuse to turn myself into a chronic patient who receives injections of new pharmaceutical products on a regular basis simply to reduce my chances of getting a severe case of a virus that these injections do not even prevent.
  4. I can reduce my chances of getting a severe case of a virus by strengthening my immune system naturally. In the event I catch a virus, there are vitamins and well-established drugs that have had wonderful results in warding off the illness, without the risks and unknowns of this medical treatment.
  5. The establishment insists that this medical treatment is safe. They cannot possibly know this because the long-term effects are entirely unknown, and will not be known for many years. They may speculate that it is safe, but it is disingenuous for them to make such a claim that cannot possibly be known. Because they are being disingenuous, I do not trust them, and I want no part of their treatment.
  6. The drug companies have zero liability if anything goes wrong, and cannot be sued. Same for the politicians who are pushing this treatment. I will not inject myself with a new, experimental medical device when the people behind it accept no liability or responsibility if something goes wrong. I will not risk my health and my life when they refuse to risk anything.

That last one I wasn’t previously aware of, but in the end it all comes down to the old Joker line: Trust, who do ya? The Power at every level—politicians, bureau-rats, media/propagandists—has lied continually and obviously about the Chinkenpox hoax from Day One. Anybody who retains the most tattered shred of trust in them is a fucking fool, and I heartily encourage such people to low and bleat all the way to their nearest “vaccination” center to get their shot of…whatever.

My hands-down favorite from Rabbi Weissman’s handy-dandy list:

Three facts that must be put together:

  • Bill Gates is touting these vaccines as essential to the survival of the human race.
  • Bill Gates believes the world has too many people and needs to be “depopulated”.
  • Bill Gates, perhaps the richest man in the world, has also not been injected. No rush.

Uh, no. I’ll pass on any medical treatments he wants me to take.

Seconded, with great big bells on. As the man says in #15: “I cannot think of a single similar case in history when truth and morality turned out to be on the side of the establishment.” Said a mouthful there, bub.

Thanks, but no thanks. The only way they’re gonna get the smallest drop of their Mystery Mindfuck Serum into my personal bloodstream will be to hold me down and administer it using physical force, for which they better bring help. Because I promise most solemnly that I will NOT be going gently into that good night. No, I intend to be kicking, screaming, scratching, and biting every last step of that trip.

The story so far

The Burning Platform’s Jim Quinn graciously e-mailed to inform me that he had put together a two-parter whose conclusion had been partially inspired by my own humble efforts. Part One opens with an excellent, if dismaying, sit-rep:

The takeover of the country by an amalgamation of bad characters representing fascist corporatism, collectivism, billionaire oligarchs, social media tyrants, pandemic peddlers, and Deep State snake oil surveillance state salesmen has marked a turning point for the country. Battle lines are being drawn, a propaganda war is already being waged, enemies are preparing for conflict, rage is rising, and the country is headed towards some level of dissolution.

Events since the inception of the release of the China virus from the Wuhan bio-weapon lab, have been accelerating towards an epic struggle between those constituting the true power in the country and those they consider deplorable and undeserving of respect or a voice in how the country is governed. The shadowy figures behind the curtain of Bernays’ invisible government have revealed themselves and no longer fear the plebs they rule over, as their sociopathic hubris has convinced themselves they are invincible.

They have been emboldened by the success they have achieved in engineering a takeover of the government through weaponizing a flu to coerce politicians into shutting down the nation; utilizing propaganda to induce the majority of Americans to cower in fear from a virus that is highly non-lethal (99.7% survival rate) to anyone under 80; destroying hundreds of thousands of small businesses while enriching mega-corporations; successfully rigging a presidential election through mail-in ballot fraud and vote machine machinations; provoking a fake race crisis using BLM and ANTIFA useful idiots; profiting to the tune of trillions from the Fed money printing operation; suppressing free speech and medical truths about the virus through social media censorship; setting up Trump supporters as dangerous insurrectionists with the Capital farce, subsequent white supremacist storyline, and militarization of Washington DC to complete the false narrative; and now having their empty vessel pretend president signing executive orders to pull the country hard left; with Supreme Court packing, DC and Puerto Rico statehood on the docket; and Domestic Terrorism legislation to make all Trump supporters enemies of the state.

The overlords think throwing $600 at the plebs every six months, while allowing them a pittance of unemployment crumbs, will keep them sedated as long as they have their iGadgets to keep them distracted. The unholy triumvirate of Big Tech, Big Pharma and Big Gov are generating tens of billions by peddling a DNA altering experimental rushed vaccine, that isn’t really a vaccine and doesn’t really keep you from getting Covid or spreading it further. We also don’t know the long-term consequences of this “medicine”. And it seems the triumvirate is doing their best to cover up the adverse reactions being reported, miscarriages and numerous deaths of nursing home patients shortly after getting the jab.

The blizzard of lies about the effectiveness of face diapers and lockdowns from “medical experts”, “journalists”, corporate media propagandists, and government apparatchiks has been relentless. These fabricators bloviate about following the science while ignoring the facts proving masks and lockdowns DO NOT WORK and ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine DO WORK. The level of deceit and deception being applied by those in power is drastically increasing the anger and rage in the country towards authority.

The country is already at war, even though many don’t know it, and the Deep State/Oligarchs are clearly winning. This begs the question, how can you defeat an enemy who controls the presidency, congress, mainstream media, social media, major cities, major states, the military, FBI, CIA, DOJ, and the courts? The truth is they think they’ve already won the war and will dictate the terms we will be forced to live by.

But hubris, arrogance and pride are always the Achilles heel of sociopaths, believing they know what is best for humanity while inflicting their lunatic solutions upon their subjects. The feeling among millions of Americans is they have either been abandoned, stabbed in the back, or robbed. They aren’t exactly sure who to blame, who to trust, or who to fight, but they are trying to figure out the best course of action, given the current circumstances.

The building anger in the country is palpable. The question is how do you fight an enemy with overwhelming superiority in financial resources, police and military forces, corporate media outlets, social media platforms, the financial system, intel agencies, and all branches of the government? This question is what made me recall the WarGames final scene. The only winning move is not to play. Direct confrontation is destined for failure.

The only way to defeat this enemy is through guile, cunning, patience, and persistence. The same method of resistance will not work for all people. Everyone’s individual circumstances will dictate how they resist. There doesn’t need to be a central commander or massed forces. Differing versions of guerrilla warfare will suffice. The enemy is a bureaucratic behemoth, slow and unwieldy, led by arrogant mediocrities, unable to strategize their way out of a wet paper bag. They know only how to use force and threats to achieve their despicable ends.

A strong dose of 190-proof truth, injected straight into the main vein via needle-sharp analysis and pulse-quickening prose. In Part 2, Quinn examines a possible cure for what ails us, a prescription I wrote about a few weeks back my own self. Read both of Jim’s pieces, and ponder ’em well.

It could NEVER happen here

Think so, do ya? Better think again.

In September 2019, Couy Griffin, founder of Cowboys for Trump, met with President Trump in the Oval Office.

His group, according to its website, believes “securing our border, protecting our Second Amendment, and protecting the lives of the unborn are the most vital and key aspects in America’s Greatness.” Trump supporters riding on horseback—often carrying American flags and Trump banners—participated in rallies across the country to show support for the president.

Today, Griffin sits in a jail cell denied bail.

Prosecutors charged Griffin with one minor count of trespassing as part of the Justice Department’s sweeping investigation into the events of January 6. Griffin, who is a county commissioner in New Mexico, never entered the Capitol but investigators scoured his social media account to find evidence that he was “well within the restricted area” of the building.

Griffin did not assault a police officer or break any windows or even steal an important leader’s laptop. His real crime, of course, is that he’s a supporter of Donald Trump—and his real threat to society, according to U.S. prosecutors and a federal judge, is that Griffin dares to doubt the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. (In his post-arrest interview, Griffin told the FBI “the election was stolen.”)

Arguing that Griffin is a flight risk and should remain in jail throughout his trial, government lawyers claimed his refusal to accept Joe Biden as the legitimately elected president would cause him to also “deny the authority of the judicial officers appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate.”

Magistrate Judge Zia Faruqui, who was neither appointed by the president nor confirmed by the Senate, concurred. “This is an offense that, at bottom, was an attempt to stop democracy from moving forward because people were unhappy about the results of the election,” Faruqui preached during a February 1 hearing. “I don’t think that the defendant will follow my conditions if he believes I am part of this machine of the democratic process.”

The judge added that refusing to accept the outcome of the 2020 election is like “not believing facts or science.” (Faruqui, it’s worth noting, was appointed a federal magistrate last year after a 12-year career at the D.C. U.S. Attorney’s office, the same office overseeing every January 6 related case. This is the swamp in action.)

So, facing just one federal misdemeanor, Griffin will remain locked up for the foreseeable future.

He is, for all intents and purposes, a political prisoner.

That’s precisely what he is, and there’s no need to be mincing words or dancing around the thing. Even worse, he’s not the only one, with many, many more soon to join him. Jules provides a few more examples, and you’d better believe they’re just the tip of a very scary iceberg:

More than 200 people have been charged so far; the FBI has described its effort as a “24/7, full bore extensive operation” and warned that agents from its 56 field offices will be fully engaged.

“The scope and scale of these investigations…is really unprecedented not only in FBI history but in DOJ history,” acting Attorney General Michael Sherwin said during a press conference on January 12.

Since all cases will be adjudicated in Washington, D.C., it’s a sure bet that defendants will be shown no mercy in the Trump-hating Beltway legal system also responsible for prosecuting Roger Stone and Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn—just a few of the Americans targeted by law enforcement solely based on their ties to Donald Trump.

“Some of the misdemeanors we’re filing, these are only the beginning, this is not the end,” Sherwin warned. “We’re looking at significant felony cases tied to sedition and conspiracy. Their only marching orders from me are to build sedition and conspiracy charges related to the most heinous acts that occurred in the Capitol, and these are significant charges that have felonies with prison terms of up to 20 years.”

This thinly-veiled threat, mind, comes from a high-level DoJ scumbucket whose agency couldn’t be bothered with getting to the bottom of Spygate, complying with Trump’s declassification orders, or doing anything whatsoever about last summer’s out-of-control rioting, looting, and destruction. Just too darned busy with important matters like, say, Bubba Ocasio-Smollett’s NASCAR noose attack, I suppose.

America’s own Great Purge and Cultural Revolution are just getting cranked up, and we ain’t seen nothing yet. Any damned fool still averting his eyes from what’s coming better get his head around the sequence of events as predicted by past lived experience, lest he suddenly find himself in the Ogulags too…or the Killing Fields.

The Enemy ain’t just whistling Dixie here, folks, nor is he playing around. If you never learned a smidgeon of history in school, I’d strongly suggest you bone up with a quickness. Otherwise, it has this nasty little habit of coming back around to bite EVERYBODY in the ass. Either pay heed to the lessons it teaches, or suffer the excruciating injury it inflicts on those who don’t.

Pitbull takes a bite

An urgent wake-up call, from one who knows whereof he speaks.

Armando Christian Pérez, the renowned Grammy-winning rapper known as Pitbull, spoke out about the abuse of power in COVID-19 lockdowns. Pitbull, a first-generation Cuban American whose family escaped from Fidel Castro’s communism, claimed that Castro would be jealous of the power Democratic officials have exercised during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“My family comes from communism, they fled communism, they had everything taken away from them, everybody got murdered, everybody got killed,” Pitbull said in a video on RevoltTV. “That’s the reason me, being a first-generation Cuban American, I look at freedom and I appreciate that s***. I appreciate opportunity…That comes from the fact that when Castro took over everything, and I’m looking at what’s going here right now.”

“The only person that’s hot…is Castro,” Pitbull added. “He’s going, ‘Y’all did it with a virus? Sh**. Y’all took over the world with a virus? You’ve got to be kidding me.’”

Pitbull noted that Castro “had missiles pointed to the United States of America” but he suggested that the COVID-19 lockdowns have done more damage to America than Russia did in the Cold War.

The rapper warned about Big Tech censorship, likening it to communism. “If anybody is not a part of the narrative we gonna take it off online… which to me smells like…communism,” he said.

There’s a very good reason for that, as this courageous young liberty-lover knows all too well. A little Pitbull pedigree:

As Paul Sakka at The Blaze noted, Pitbull’s grandmother fought in the Cuban Revolution on Castro’s side only to realize that she had made a terrible mistake. Fearing the rumors about communist indoctrination camps for children, she sent her two daughters to the United States during Operation Peter Pan, a covert program that brought 14,000 Cuban children to the U.S. between 1960 and 1962. The U.S. government brought Pitbull’s mother and aunt to Florida, and Pitbull’s father would also land there after fleeing the Castro regime.

Pitbull has said he would never play a concert in Cuba so long as the communist Castros control the country. “I won’t perform in Cuba until there’s no more Castro and there’s a free Cuba,” he told The Guardian in 2011. “To me, Cuba’s the biggest prison in the world, and I would be very hypocritical were I to perform there. The people in Cuba, they know what I stand for, and there’s a lot of people in Cuba that stand for the same. But they can’t say it.”

Good for Pitbull for exercising his rapidly-vanishing right to speak out like this. Nobody fears and loathes Marxist tyranny like those who have experienced it firsthand and lived to tell the tale. Americans ignore the increasingly clamorous warning of communism’s survivors at their own dire peril.

Facing the facts

We are the people we’ve been waiting for.

There are a lot of people posting B.S. from “credible sources” about how Biden will be in power for 9 weeks, or how the military really is in DC to protect us, or (do I really have to make a 3 page line item list?) I’ll skip that.

I understand that in some cases people can’t come to grips with the fact that everything really is lost. So they post crap about “what is going to happen” and general blah said blah or my lawyer said blah or Sidney released blah or whatever blah blah blah – none of it has merit.

FACT: The communists seized the country. The coup is complete.

And it was well planned, where Obama rigged the military to make sure they went along with it.

It is OVER. Trump is not secretly being president behind the scenes, no one is waiting for anyone to prove how bad they are before they get arrested and the military is not running the country.

People need to come to grips with this, because hopeful stories are paralyzing them like a frogs under a bright light, preventing them from jumping to action.

Sitting still like it is business as usual right now is exactly what the communists want, while they pile more and more and MORE troops into DC to eliminate all danger for them while they shred the country.

That is what the military is there for – to support the coup.

For the record: No election will work. The last one did not work, and they are solidifying and rooting in the fraud to heights beyond what it took to simply steal it like flipping a switch last time. We are not going to vote our way out of this.

For the record: There will be no “charge of the light brigade” and Trump is in charge of NOTHING. It will be ALL darkness from here on out.

It’s the blackest of black pills, and I only wish I knew of a plausible argument to be made that it isn’t so. It’s also a must-read—especially for anyone still locked in denial’s thrall, clinging to the forlorn hope of some miraculous last-second reprieve.

(Via Wes Rhinier)

Update! Another grim wake-up call.

The FBI’s missing-in-action response to plain view evidence of massive vote fraud in the presidential election seems poles apart from the agency’s enforcement priority to bring to justice the Capitol rioters. It is more reminiscent of slow-walking White House declassification efforts in the matter of Crossfire Hurricane, or stonewalling the release of subpoenaed documents requested for Senate hearings into the Russia hoax. One wonders little that Biden is pleased with the work Wray has been doing and would be keeping him on as director.

On November 3, we went to bed in America. On November 4, we woke up in Venezuela. But simply rigging the election in soft coup style through bloodless machinations to deny a second Trump term doesn’t end the vendetta. Election Day was but the opening salvo in the Democrat game plan to dupe Americans into abdicating their own liberties. Through dozens of executive actions, our freedoms are being purloined in plain sight and over the lethargic objections of Republican lawmakers.

Any objections they make, lethargic or otherwise, are dishonest. They’re fully-paid up partners, playing their assigned role on the Democracy Kabuki stage.

Out, and proud

They had to destroy democracy in order to save it.

Time published a story that provides absolutely astonishing details and framing of activities that took place around the 2020 election. As readers, you deserve a detailed analysis of this story and the people and organizations involved. The recounting of the story in Time is longer than a chapter in many novels. Time says additional details will be provided in a series of articles over the next several days. This article is an introduction.

The title is provocative enough. “The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election.” The story goes on to describe in precise detail a coalition of various powerful special interest groups that united, beginning a year before the election, to ensure Joe Biden would win.

I’ll quote as extensively as I like from the Time article, without linking to it. Let the shitlib propaganda pimps find their own way to up the hit count, says I. Here’s the archive.is snapshot instead.

A second odd thing happened amid Trump’s attempts to reverse the result: corporate America turned on him. Hundreds of major business leaders, many of whom had backed Trump’s candidacy and supported his policies, called on him to concede. To the President, something felt amiss. “It was all very, very strange,” Trump said on Dec. 2. “Within days after the election, we witnessed an orchestrated effort to anoint the winner, even while many key states were still being counted.”

In a way, Trump was right.

There was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes, one that both curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs. Both surprises were the result of an informal alliance between left-wing activists and business titans. The pact was formalized in a terse, little-noticed joint statement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and AFL-CIO published on Election Day. Both sides would come to see it as a sort of implicit bargain–inspired by the summer’s massive, sometimes destructive racial-justice protests–in which the forces of labor came together with the forces of capital to keep the peace and oppose Trump’s assault on democracy.

The handshake between business and labor was just one component of a vast, cross-partisan campaign to protect the election–an extraordinary shadow effort dedicated not to winning the vote but to ensuring it would be free and fair, credible and uncorrupted. For more than a year, a loosely organized coalition of operatives scrambled to shore up America’s institutions as they came under simultaneous attack from a remorseless pandemic and an autocratically inclined President. Though much of this activity took place on the left, it was separate from the Biden campaign and crossed ideological lines, with crucial contributions by nonpartisan and conservative actors. The scenario the shadow campaigners were desperate to stop was not a Trump victory. It was an election so calamitous that no result could be discerned at all, a failure of the central act of democratic self-governance that has been a hallmark of America since its founding.

Their work touched every aspect of the election. They got states to change voting systems and laws and helped secure hundreds of millions in public and private funding. They fended off voter-suppression lawsuits, recruited armies of poll workers and got millions of people to vote by mail for the first time. They successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to fight viral smears.

And now you know just how it was that the Hunter Biden scandal got quashed so handily.

They executed national public-awareness campaigns that helped Americans understand how the vote count would unfold over days or weeks, preventing Trump’s conspiracy theories and false claims of victory from getting more traction. After Election Day, they monitored every pressure point to ensure that Trump could not overturn the result. “The untold story of the election is the thousands of people of both parties who accomplished the triumph of American democracy at its very foundation,” says Norm Eisen, a prominent lawyer and former Obama Administration official who recruited Republicans and Democrats to the board of the Voter Protection Program.

For Trump and his allies were running their own campaign to spoil the election. The President spent months insisting that mail ballots were a Democratic plot and the election would be “rigged.”

Which, of course, they were.

His henchmen at the state level sought to block their use, while his lawyers brought dozens of spurious suits to make it more difficult to vote–an intensification of the GOP’s legacy of suppressive tactics.

By such OUTRAGES AGAINST “DEMOCRACY”!!! as, oh, requiring valid ID to vote; expunging corpses from the eligible-voter rolls; checking to be sure voters hadn’t relocated; etc. Gee, what would we ever have done without these paragons of virtue looking out for us? Apart from perhaps being able to hold a, y’know, free and fair election, I mean?

Before the election, Trump plotted to block a legitimate vote count. And he spent the months following Nov. 3 trying to steal the election he’d lost–with lawsuits and conspiracy theories, pressure on state and local officials, and finally summoning his army of supporters to the Jan. 6 rally that ended in deadly violence at the Capitol.

Deadly violence—wherein a Trump supporter and USAF vet was wantonly, needlessly murdered by a trigger-happy Mordor On The Potomac orc, and the other deaths were basically due to heart attack or stroke.

Deadly violence, forsooth. Hasn’t been near enough of it to suit some of us, bitch. Not yet, anyway. Still early innings, though.

This is the inside story of the conspiracy to save the 2020 election, based on access to the group’s inner workings, never-before-seen documents and interviews with dozens of those involved from across the political spectrum. It is the story of an unprecedented, creative and determined campaign whose success also reveals how close the nation came to disaster. “Every attempt to interfere with the proper outcome of the election was defeated,” says Ian Bassin, co-founder of Protect Democracy, a nonpartisan rule-of-law advocacy group. “But it’s massively important for the country to understand that it didn’t happen accidentally. The system didn’t work magically. Democracy is not self-executing.”

That’s why the participants want the secret history of the 2020 election told, even though it sounds like a paranoid fever dream–a well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information. They were not rigging the election; they were fortifying it. And they believe the public needs to understand the system’s fragility in order to ensure that democracy in America endures.

Democracy, along with the Constitution, liberty, and the very concept of unalienable rights, is as dead as America That Was is. It rankles tremendously to be lectured about the system’s “fragility” by the very goddamned filthbags that, over the course of many decades, labored so diligently to weaken its foundation, reducing it to the smashed, smoking ruin it now is.

If, after reading the rest of the thing, you aren’t filled with a blistering rage at the sure and certain knowledge that this is just another example of The Enemy—flush with his ill-gotten triumph, secure in its totality and permanence—openly laughing in the faces of Real Americans, then I really don’t know what more there is to say to you. In another article of which you should read the all, Ace puts it this way:

This is the part of the war where they have shot most of the survivors, and are now engaging in psyops to humiliate and degrade whoever is still alive. They are now admitting they rigged the election so that we understand that there is nothing we can do about it — we are a defeated people, they want us to know, and they intend to rule us.

He’s right, and you know he is. The question now is: what, if anything, are Real Americans to do about it?

A real stunner

Just when I thought there was no shock left to be wrung from my poor, calloused soul.

Former WWE talent Gabbi Tuft has come out as a transgender woman.

The 42-year-old fitness guru – who wrestled under the ring name Tyler Reks – shared the news via a press release on Thursday, calling Gabbi’s journey a ‘thrilling story of gender transitioning.’

‘Gabbi is about to share her thrilling story of gender transitioning from a former WWE Superstar, Body Builder, Fitness Guru, Motivational Speaker and Motorcycle Racer to a fun loving and fabulous female,’ the release read.

‘She has been finally set free and ready to rule her world.’

It seems Gabbi had intended to reveal the news on Friday, but she took to Instagram to address the early revelation Thursday, sharing a photo of herself beaming and posing in front of an old wrestling photo as she shared her new, authentic look.

I started to embed the photo, but there are lots more of ’em, and you really need to see them for yourself. I promise you: a bizarre milestone has been surpassed here, a bar most definitely raised.

Wow.

Safetyism sucks

Kinda hate linking to Faux News, but it’s Mike Rowe, so I guess I gotta.

More than a year after the coronavirus arrived in the United States, American are “starting to understand the importance of balance again,” Mike Rowe told “The Story” Friday.

“Several months ago, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said no measure, no matter how draconian, could be deemed unwise if it saves but a single life,” the “Six Degrees with Mike Rowe” host told Martha MacCallum. “I got a lot of flak when he said that, because I said, ‘That is a safety-first way of thinking, and deep down we’re not a safety-first society.

Correction: we weren’t. Then again, we also weren’t a nation of docile, bleating sheep either, and our national motto wasn’t “Americans do as they’re told.” We’ve come a long way, baby.

“Now we’re starting to see the price of safety is devastating,” Rowe added. “What is happening right now in the energy industry is really the thing that I think we ought to be focused on, because there feels to me, and feels to a lot of people I talk to on a day-to-day basis, like a concerted effort to wage a kind of war against energy. It’s not a war we can win, especially with regard to fossil fuels and all of the jobs that are wrapped up in that industry. I don’t mean to sound like an apologist, but I know of no greater investor in alternative energy than the fossil fuel industry.”

MacCallum brought the discussion back to the issue of safety, saying, “We’re a country that was built on risk-taking. We want to take wise risks, we don’t want to be reckless, but that element of being strong and fighting through is something that I think is such an American value.

I repeat: was. It’s hard to find much trace of that noble heritage nowadays, sad to say.

“Risk is the only four-letter word that matters,” Rowe agreed. “It impacts and informs every decision we make, from driving a car to walking around without a mask or wearing one mask or two masks.”

“We’re starting to see,” Rowe concluded, “if you elevate the business of staying alive to the very, very top of all things, then the only thing you’ll ever do is stay alive. You won’t go anywhere. You won’t try anything or build anything.”

Present-day Americans have lost all awareness of the all-important distinction between “staying alive” and LIVING. The only context in which Duh Sheeple seem to have retained any of that traditional bold, pioneering spirit is in their total fearlessness when it comes to donning a sundress and declaring themselves “women,” although most of these nominal “transgenders” do seem to recover their core pusillanimity when it comes to actually chopping their dicks off. The proper attitude towards risk versus safety, a hero’s death versus a coward’s existence, was laid out in Braveheart:

Mel Gibson’s soul-stirring pre-battle pep talk to his wavering Scottish rabble-army (ibid) should likewise be indelibly graven on Real American hearts:

It is to our eternal shame how thoroughly so many of us have forgotten those fine sentiments. If we do not soon remember, honor, and redeem them, then American liberty will be no more than a rapidly fading memory as well—and our disgraceful fate will have been well and rightly earned.

Update! Wes is thinking along similar lines, including the Braveheart reference.

I don’t even know where to begin. What will it take for Americans to wake up and take back their freedom? A hoax of a virus is being used to control and divide us. People are blindly obeying the wishes, yes wishes because there is no law, that you should wear a mask and avoid contact with people. People’s lives and businesses are being ruined because people refuse to stand. Have people lost the ability to critically think for themselves? That face diaper you are proudly wearing with your cute little sayings printed on it doesn’t do a damn thing to prevent a virus. You are virtue signaling that you are a good little peasant and will follow the orders of your evil government. There is no pandemic. We were lied to. Period. If there was an actual pandemic we wouldn’t have to be told about it on television. We would know and see it with our own eyes.

This is all about our government dominating us and wanting us to submit to their every whim. This is about control. This evil government is pushing us and testing us. They want to see exactly what they can get away with and what we are willing to accept. At this point it is anything. Very few have the courage to speak out or do anything. Although speaking out against this tyranny we face will now get you labeled as a domestic terrorist. At least now I know what to refer to myself as. Ha!

A question was asked on another post here “Isn’t there anyone out there who is brave enough, patriotic enough, and who cares enough to rise up and take America back?” My answer to that question is yes, however I am but one man and I do not want to be a martyr. So how do we begin to fight? You know what happens if we continue to do nothing? It (is) quite the conundrum we find ourselves in.

It’s my belief that there’s a goodly number of valiant souls left out there who have every intention of fighting back, but who are also fully awake to the fact that engaging before the time is fully ripe would be an invitation to catastrophe. These are momentous affairs indeed—a genuine turn of history wherein planning, preparation, and mature judgment constitute the fulcrum upon which success or failure will pivot. An anarchic berserker blitzkrieg is definitely NOT the way to go, seems to me. The grind of a stealthy, slowly escalating campaign of attrition is much more likely to win the day for Team Liberty. When there is no realistic chance of overwhelming the enemy, victory can only be achieved by wearing him down—sapping his will, exhausting his resources, convincing him that your own commitment is so deep that you will never surrender.

As the man says, it’s quite the conundrum. Excessive delay will only increase the duration, difficulty, and sheer bloodiness of the struggle. George McClellan, an outstanding motivator and leader of men, demonstrated that well enough; though his courage and competence were never in serious question, a surfeit of caution proved to be his ruin. Still, going off half-cocked without a plan, both tactical and strategic, is a sure-fire recipe for disaster, as any experienced combat veteran could tell you.

After decades of looking on helplessly as our country was defiled and then destroyed by thieves, thugs, and witless fools, it’s all too easy to let impatience dissolve into despair, leading on to bitter resignation. A delicate balance between recklessness and restraint, between overthinking and disregard, must now be struck. The fog of war, even fickle, unpredictable Fortuna Herself, will also have their own parts to play as the battle to reclaim a once-great nation widens and intensifies.

Delay can be costly; premature action, disastrous. But despair is fatal, the very worst of the three. Don’t give in to it. Plan. Prepare. Nurture your rage, but don’t let it rule you. Ignore the deceit and self-serving manipulations of the lying Left; rage is more than justified, a fair and fitting answer to the long train of abuses and usurpations inflicted by them. Battle is coming, with Justice at the wheel and Vengeance riding shotgun.

Mail-order degeneracy

There’s an app for that.

This app lets you order hormone blockers so you can gender reassign without ever having to see an in-person doc or shrink
Ordering invasive drugs that alter your body in permanent ways is easier now than ever thanks to a new service called Plume.

Plume seeks to help you “live your authentic life” by getting rid of yucky red tape like psychologists and doctors that might warn you about the side effects of hormone blockers.

Oh, and should you need a medical letter of support in order to remove unwanted organs from your body, all you have to do is pony up $150.

Whatever the patient wants, the patient gets! As Plume says, they be “cheering you on every step of the way.”

Generation X, Gen Z, Millenials, Schmillenials—it’s all about the D-Generation now, baby. Which calls for a tune from some old NYC buds of mine.

Amerikan Gulag

A few years back, I coined a term: the USSSA, the United Soviet Socialist States of Amerika. Cynical as I thought I was being, though, I can see now that I had no idea.

America is changing in bewildering ways since Donald Trump left office. For the first time in our nation’s history, the president of the United States, out in the open and for all to see, is a demented, senile figurehead. With the support of a media class, ostensibly charged with keeping him in check but instead behaving like the old Soviet Pravda, Biden is able to cover up his otherwise obvious physical, mental, and moral infirmities.

Unlike Trump, who rose to power with a popular movement, Biden succeeded through his handlers’ trickery and guile. His campaign was the most cynical in American history. He spent much of his time taking naps and hiding from the public. But he was shielded by propaganda and the support of a corrupt ruling class every step of the way.

Biden’s fake campaign is now succeeded by a fake presidency. If it appears he is governing with malice and neglect, that’s by design.

Anyone who has spent some time listening to Biden’s platitudes over the last year could have predicted the content of his awful and deeply dishonest speech. While calling for “unity” and healing, Biden declared that democracy had “prevailed” with the victory of his party. But much work remains to be done, as America is under attack by “political extremism” and “white supremacy” that festers in the hearts and minds of untold numbers of citizens.

Who are these kulaks standing in the way of the promised land? The Washington Post warns of a “disease that seems to have taken hold in the nation’s nervous system.” John Brennan gives a clearer view of this “insurgency” that needs to be isolated and destroyed, which includes “religious extremists, authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, even libertarians.”

Understand, this new threat of “domestic extremism” is exclusively a phenomenon of the Right. Nothing the Left ever does can be considered extreme, as all decent people know, after a summer of “mostly peaceful” anarchy and arson.

Well, naturally. Daniel Greenfield can explain that.

The difference between resistance and sedition, between protests and insurrections, is who’s in charge. Democrats resist Republican elected officials. Republicans however commit sedition against Democrat elected officials. Democrats protest, Republicans riot. These aren’t distinctions in law. The only real distinction is who’s in power and who’s on the barricades.

Political hypocrisy isn’t a new phenomenon, but Democrats weaponizing the national security state to suppress the political opposition over the same behavior they engage in is a serious threat to the survival of the United States as anything other than a banana republic in a civil war.

Democrats repeatedly claimed that the Bush Administration’s campaign against terrorists was punishing political dissent, but despite these false claims, Bush’s counter-terrorism never even came close to eavesdropping on, investigating, or shutting down the political opposition.

That didn’t stop Democrats from repeatedly invoking the Gestapo and the Stasi when attacking the Patriot Act, Ashcroft, and Gonzalez. It also didn’t stop them from abusing the Patriot Act and the national security system built to fight Communists and Islamic terrorists to target members of Congress and the political opposition including President Trump and his associates.

Democrats and the media quickly got back to comparing President Trump to Hitler and accusing him of fascism, yet his administration never did to Biden what Obama had done to Trump. The Trump administration didn’t eavesdrop on Biden associates under the guise of national security. The damaging material about Hunter Biden and his father’s ties to China came out of a laptop shop in Vermont, not from the synthesis of political operatives and national security personnel which had exploited the Steele Dossier’s false claims about Trump and Russian prostitutes.

The Republican governing class has failed to come to terms with the reality that its Democrat counterparts operate by a very different definition of law and government than they do. The Democrats don’t simply disregard the Constitution, as they have ever since Woodrow Wilson, but they regard their own power as legitimate and the power of Republicans as illegitimate.

Republicans take a legal or philosophical perspective on everything while Democrats have an expedient activist take on it. Republicans turn to the law or tradition, while Democrats decide whether the Filibuster, the Electoral College, the institution of marriage, the existence of white people, and the biological reality of women serves their purposes or ought to be eliminated.

When Republicans failed to carry out a meaningful reckoning of Obama’s national security abuses they didn’t just allow an injustice to go unpunished, but they ensured a much worse repetition by emboldened Democrats who committed the worst political abuse of the national security system that had been possible until then and got away with it. That’s the next step.

The Biden administration is moving to criminalize the political opposition, to investigate and dismantle it using all of the tools at its disposal. That is the only thing Republicans can expect. It’s exactly what they should have been expecting all along. Obama’s abuses of the national security state were not an outlier. They are the new normal. And they’re only going to get worse.

That they will. But will we have gulags too? I mean, how can we say we’ve been Sovietized with a straight face unless we have gulags?

Fret ye not.

In contemporary America, where the walls are closing in on the individual—obliterating traditional notions of freedom—we find ourselves crossing the threshold into an American-style gulag, where the fortifications that have shored up a centuries-long quest for a more perfect union, are beginning to buckle.

Although the constriction of our liberties on the road to socialism accelerated at warp speed with COVID, the George Floyd riots, and now the election of Biden-Harris, it didn’t happen overnight. America’s political journey has been riddled with progressive inroads: Wilson’s expansion of the administrative state, Roosevelt’s New Deal, LBJ’s Great Society, ObamaCare, onerous taxes and regulations, judicial activism, and Democrat legislation increasing the power of the federal government.

With Biden’s election and a Democrat-controlled Senate, the malignant “Woke-Cancel Culture” has fully metastasized into our body politic. Talk of purges and persecution are commonplace. Journalists, politicians, activists and rank-and-file Democrats demand the country be cleansed of all things Trump. Those who served in his administration or supported him must be blacklisted from future employment. The children of Trump voters must be deprogrammed. Conservatives must be put in re-education camps and deradicalized. Wannabees of Pavlik Morozov, the child hero who betrayed his family to Soviet authorities, scan social media for anti-woke transgressions to use against family, neighbor, and classmate.

There are uncomfortable echoes here of a “Final Solution” to the “Trump Question.” That these sentiments are brazenly expressed without blowback or regard for their meaning or history, is a testament to our one-sided First Amendment and the unbridled fervor that can lead history to repeat itself. We cannot turn a blind eye to these harsh realities.

From Biden-Harris to BLM’s Patrisse Cullors; from Pelosi to Fauci; from leftwing journalists to radical teachers; from those running our unions to those running our government; from corporations bullied into submission to the multitudes forced to kowtow; from rioting mobs to the brainwashed Pavlik Morozovs—deprogrammed by the State to reject their upbringings; re-programmed to hate Trump, whitey, and their families; and newly programmed to be loyal foot soldiers of the State–

These are our wardens. Welcome to the American Gulag.

Where you can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave.

FREEDOM!!!

"There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters."
Daniel Webster

“When I was young I was depressed all the time. But suicide no longer seemed a possibility in my life. At my age there was very little left to kill.”
Charles Bukowski

“A slave is one who waits for someone to come and free him.”
Ezra Pound

“The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it’s profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater.”
Frank Zappa

“The right of a nation to kill a tyrant in case of necessity can no more be doubted than to hang a robber, or kill a flea.”

"It is terrible to contemplate how few politicians are hanged."
GK Chesterton

"I predict that the Bush administration will be seen by freedom-wishing Americans a generation or two hence as the hinge on the cell door locking up our freedom. When my children are my age, they will not be free in any recognizably traditional American meaning of the word. I’d tell them to emigrate, but there’s nowhere left to go. I am left with nauseating near-conviction that I am a member of the last generation in the history of the world that is minimally truly free."
Donald Sensing

"The only way to live free is to live unobserved."
Etienne de la Boiete

"History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid."
Dwight D. Eisenhower

"To put it simply, the Left is the stupid and the insane, led by the evil. You can’t persuade the stupid or the insane and you had damn well better fight the evil."
Skeptic

"There is no better way to stamp your power on people than through the dead hand of bureaucracy. You cannot reason with paperwork."
David Black, from Turn Left For Gibraltar

"If the laws of God and men, are therefore of no effect, when the magistracy is left at liberty to break them; and if the lusts of those who are too strong for the tribunals of justice, cannot be otherwise restrained than by sedition, tumults and war, those seditions, tumults and wars, are justified by the laws of God and man."
John Adams

"The limits of tyranny are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress."
Frederick Douglass

"Give me the media and I will make of any nation a herd of swine."
Joseph Goebbels

“I hope we once again have reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: As government expands, liberty contracts.”
Ronald Reagan

"Ain't no misunderstanding this war. They want to rule us and aim to do it. We aim not to allow it. All there is to it."
NC Reed, from Parno's Peril

"I just want a government that fits in the box it originally came in."
Bill Whittle
