Shut up and listen

Nothing mysterious or puzzling about this at all.

Over the last several years, my liberal friends have become less and less comfortable with utilizing classical debating styles — you know, where one person proposes a theory, explains it thoroughly with facts and figures and then responds to any questions about the theory in a logical, rational way. This article develops a theory on why the vast majority of all liberals are currently atrocious debaters.

It’s not so much that they’re atrocious debaters, really; they’re supremely uninterested in debate, that’s all. Honest, open debate is something they care not a whit about either way, and why should they? Having figured out by now that they can advance their agenda much farther, much faster by simply bulldozing their opponents instead of bothering with trying to persuade anyone, they have no further use for the antiquated, irrelevant give and take of debate. They intend to by-God win, come what may, and the steamroll-em-flat-and-move-on strategy seems to be working out quite well for them to date.

My wife and I have been lucky. We have developed many close friendships with lots of people over our lives.  Some of these relationships are more recent, but many have lasted 20, 30, or even 40 years. We have over a dozen friends whom we try to stay in close contact with on a regular basis. About half of them are liberal; about half of them are conservative. Virtually no one seems to be dead in the middle anymore.

Recently, a new trend started to become obvious. For my conservative friends, roughly half of all their friends share conservative values, and half are liberal. But our liberal friends tend to have just one or two conservative friends, and they are no longer able to discuss political issues with their conservative friends, since the liberals tend to get too emotional when talking politics.

It is my belief that this inability to discuss political issues is because my liberal friends look only at online sites that share their worldview; they watch only TV news that reinforces their worldview; they discuss politics only with people who share their worldview; and they often look at social media that make them think the liberal view on a topic is the only rational one to have.

I freely confess to being guilty of exclusively perusing sites that cater to my own views as well and have done so for a good many years now, although back in the earliest days of CF that wasn’t the case. Then again, though, the fact is that as the so-called Mainstream Media has become ever more brazen and unembarrassed about putting their near-unanimous Leftward tilt on public display, sticking with Right-leaning outlets doesn’t at all mean being blissfully unaware of the shitlib opinion on any given issue. We’re constantly bombarded with their point of view; it’s shoved down our throats continually, 24-7-365, without letup.

I imagine that, having been under the oppressive weight of such an intense, incessant barrage all this time, there’d have to be very, very few of us who couldn’t easily and accurately recite every least particular of the shitlib argument by reflex, without even pausing for a moment’s thought. Another I must freely confess: on the continued usefulness of debating them, I am firmly in agreement with them: there is none whatsoever. The arguments have all been made; the time for debating them is well and truly past. The time has now come when we must FIGHT THEM, and you can take that statement just as literally as you want to.

Rantz: Elementary school cancels ‘exclusionary’ Halloween, won’t answer basic questions

After torturing children with absurd and unscientific COVID protocols, like socially-distanced lunch outside on the pavement, you’d think Principal John Simard of Brookside Elementary in Shoreline would want kids to have fun. No such luck. He emailed parents to explain that while some children may be looking forward to Halloween, he cannot allow any celebrations.

Wokeness killed another holiday celebration where kids could have fun. This move should be condemned, not celebrated as inclusive.

There are some students that do not celebrate Halloween. And if they don’t celebrate, then no one can, the principal says.

“Many see Halloween as a fun candy-filled holiday,” Simard writes. “They enjoy the community-building benefits that a shared experience can bring. This may be true for you and your family; I can certainly say it is for mine. However, this is not the case for all. Halloween celebrations are exclusionary for students who come from certain cultural or religious backgrounds.”

Simard does not explain which cultural or religious backgrounds preclude the celebration of a secular holiday. He also doesn’t explain why “Crazy Hat Day,” where students wear crazy hats as they would costumes, is permissible. And although not every student celebrates Thanksgiving, Simard isn’t canceling that holiday’s week-long beak.

The principal also says he wants “this to be a place for all of our students and families.” But by banning Halloween, he’s expressly stating the school is not a place for students and families who celebrate Halloween.

The principal also says he wants “this to be a place for all of our students and families.” But by banning Halloween, he’s expressly stating the school is not a place for students and families who celebrate Halloween.

Simard notes that some families have opted out of celebrating Halloween in previous years. He complains they shouldn’t have to do that. Parents must opt out of age-inappropriate and politically motivated sexual education classes, but opting out of Halloween is one step too far.

“As a public school, should we be hosting events during the instructional day that exclude students? No, we should not. We want this to be a place for all of our students and families,” Simard writes.

Neither the district spokesperson nor the principal responded to multiple requests for comment. But one parent, who asked to remain anonymous, told the Jason Rantz Show on KTTH that he and his family are sick of the politically-motivated double standards.

“Birthdays are celebrated, there are cultural heritage months, Black Lives Matter curriculum and flags, pride celebration, along with all of the other religious holidays that are acknowledged,” the dad said. “Why is Halloween canceled? The school also has other days where dressing up silly, or in colors or in pajamas, is encouraged. I see zero difference in letting kids dress up in costumes.”

The dad called this “unfortunate.”

“Halloween is celebrated in many countries and throughout many cultures across the world,” he continued. “Why are the traditions of the majority being canceled by a few people protecting those that choose not to celebrate? Who is it hurting? And if they are hurting from kids dressing up in costumes, they have bigger issues to deal with personally. Who cares if you don’t celebrate something? Let the ones that celebrate have a good time!”

Ahh, but therein lies the rub, buddy. If there’s one thing above all others which we must understand about the priggish, miserable Church Ladies we’ve come to misidentify as “liberals,” it’s that they desperately hate the very idea that somebody out there might be having a good time without their permission.

The shoe that fits
No fun!!

“FINALLY”

Is there really NOTHING they’ll leave alone? No need to answer that one; it’s a rhetorical question, one whose answer we already know.

The creators of a new “Scooby-Doo” movie have finally depicted Velma as a lesbian on screen, after years of speculation about the beloved character’s sexuality but no definitive portrayals of her as queer in the popular cartoon franchise.

Velma crushes on another female character, a costume designer named Coco Diablo, in a Halloween special, “Trick or Treat Scooby-Doo,” that was released online Tuesday and will debut on Cartoon Network on Oct. 14. She’s voiced by actor and comedian Kate Micucci.

In one scene, Velma’s glasses fog up and her cheeks redden as she fawns over Coco. “Jinkies,” Velma says — her classic tag line. She flirts with Coco throughout the movie, clearly smitten.

Velma gets into some hot, down and dirty dildo action with Coco in 5…4…3…2…Because, y’know, that’s what Saturday morning cartoons are really all about, innit.

Everything about gay sex, nothing outside gay sex, no gay sexual stones left unturned. Even, now, childrens’ cartoons. What a bunch of despicable, repulsive, sex-obsessed freaks these shitlibs are.

On the other side

“Surprising”? Not if you’re truly awake to who and what American cops are nowadays, it ain’t.

Are Police Complicit in Media’s Attempt to Suppress Political Motive for Teen’s Killing?
How can the police say there is “no evidence” of a political motive when we have the accused’s own words suggesting that it was politically motivated?

North Dakota teenager Cayler Ellingson appears to be the latest victim of left-wing terrorism incited, then ignored by the national media. The lack of curiosity in the press about his senseless and apparently political murder is predictable, but what is surprising is the way local police appear to be following their lead.

Shannon Brandt, 41 and the accused in this case, told the authorities that Ellingson, 18, was a “Republican extremist” and that the two had been in a “political argument” before Brandt ran Ellingson over with his car late one night in September. Brandt told police that he feared Ellingson was calling other people to come and hurt him. But in a perplexing update, the North Dakota Highway Patrol stated there was “no evidence” of a political motive, or even that Ellingson was a “Republican extremist.”

How can the police say there is “no evidence” of a political motive when we have Brandt’s own words suggesting that it was politically motivated? And what is the purpose of the strangely gratuitous statement contradicting Brandt’s subjective, baseless characterization of Ellingson as an “Republican extremist?”

Foolishly, mulishly, the rest of the ‘graph strains mightily to give the cops the benefit of the doubt here, to wit:

The police almost appear to echo, if unintentionally, Brandt’s apparent belief that Ellingson’s murder would have been justified if he were a right-wing extremist. Ellingson’s politics, if he had any at all, are only relevant to the extent that Brandt’s perceptions of them motivated Brandt to kill.

Is the pattern repeating in the Ellingson case? Brandt was initially released on $50,000 bail before his charges were finally upgraded to murder, days later. The police are making what looks like a slipshod PR effort to defuse political controversy by suppressing rudimentary facts. The leftist media are all too happy for the help.

At this stage of the game, they can count on such help from 5-0 just as a matter of course. After looking on in horror and disgust throughout the pAntiFa/BLM riots, when cops all over the country sat on their hands as Real Americans were whaled on by the DemonRat Party’s pet goon squads, then provided said thugs with safe corridors to slip off into the night unmolested by the supposed enforcers of “law and order,” Our Side needs to sober up and dispossess themselves of the comforting fiction that the police are in any way With Us. Perhaps they never really were, I dunno. But it’s all too clear that, if it ever was so, that is no longer the case.

Update! Via Wes Renegade: As with the fish, the rot begins at the head and progresses from there.

Everyone feels it, but not everyone sees it: America’s greatest threat is not from Russia or China or from any other foreign government. America’s greatest threat is from our own government in Washington, D.C. When will the American people get that through their heads?

The globalist devils inside the Beltway manufactured and implemented the Covid scamdemic: the greatest act of tyranny inside U.S. borders since Lincoln invaded the South.

The globalist devils inside the beltway have turned Europe and the world into a giant military encampment with U.S. and NATO bases on the doorsteps of almost every country on the planet, which only incites nations to retaliate.

And the globalist devils inside the beltway have turned U.S. energy policies over to an extremist Green agenda that if fully implemented will turn the greatest nation to ever exist into a third world country. In fact, America is already headed in that direction.

America now has undoubtedly one of the most amoral, inept, incompetent and criminal governments, not only in the world today but in world history!

And as far as the mainstream media goes, it is truly nothing more than a Ministry of Propaganda for the Deep State.

I would like to believe that things would get better if Republicans took control of Congress this November and the White House in 2024, but the harsh reality is Republicans have a masterful way of talking a lot while changing almost nothing.

Well, of course. As they see it, that’s their job, their proper role in the whole charade. Accept that once and for all, and everything else will suddenly make perfect sense.

Down in flames, quietly

A story I find curious, for more reasons than one. Bold mine, so as to highlight the curious part.

The Sunken Felicity Ace Cargo Carrier Is a Pollution Hazard for Undersea Life
The ship that went down with thousands of Porsches and Volkswagens is bad news for local marine organisms.

Thousands of cars, lithium-ion batteries, oil, gas, and an entire cargo ship now litter the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. On March 1, the car carrier Felicity Ace sank beneath the waves near the Portuguese Azores archipelago. Now, ecologists are worried that pollution from the wreck will impact the rich undersea environment the carrier has invaded.

The ship, carrying thousands of vehicles to the United States from Europe, caught fire about two weeks before it listed to one side and sank about 200 nautical miles (230 miles) from the Azores. Its position on the Extended Continental Shelf puts it out of Portuguese jurisdiction, according to the international Law of the Sea Convention. In other words, this region of seafloor is far enough away from land that no country can automatically take over its management.

Felicity Ace sits 3,000 meters (1.9 miles) below the ocean’s surface. Upon impact, the wreck definitely affected the sea floor and all of the organisms that make their home there, deep sea ecologist Ana Colaço tells Popular Mechanics.

Her work at the Institute of Marine Research at the University of the Azores focuses on deep-sea habitats around the islands. “The most important thing to know is that the deep sea is not a desert,” she says. “If the ship is on soft sediment, there are sea cucumbers, crustaceans, and worms that live on this seafloor. There may be sponges and corals. Of course, there are fish of several kinds—the diversity of the deep sea is very high.”

When the ship went down, it was carrying 2,200 tons of fuel, 2,200 tons of oil, and up to 4,000 vehicles, some of which carried electric car batteries, the Associated Press reported the day after the sinking. Hardly any wreckage remained above the surface, but tug boats were using hoses to break up a small oil slick at the site. Portugal has been keeping a Navy vessel and an Air Force plane on site to monitor for further signs of surface pollution.

Just for the hell of it, here’s a pic of the ill-fated tub all a-smoke and aflame.

Suspicious, or not so much?
Hinky dinky polly-vous

Admittedly, we’ll probably never know how the aboard-ship fire started. But come now; with those notoriously deadly EVs and their prone-to-spontaneous-combustion batteries in the hold, we know, now don’t we? It would seem that Praetorian Media knows, at least, in light of the near-total news blackout of this event. A small spate of most cursory and obligatory coverage in the immediate aftermath of the unscheduled self-scuttling, followed by a complete media blackout?

Oh, puh-LEEZE. If this had been one of those dreaded oil tankers, the disaster would still be front-page news, we’d never hear the end of it. Hell, even today your Mark 1-Mod 0 shitlib “journalist” will now and then work in a derisive mention of the accursed Exxon Valdez when he can manage it, ferchrissakes. But, since the loss of the Felicity Ace was very likely blamable on the sacred EV, the Progtard Protected Class rule is in full effect.

Curious? I’d say so, yeah. But hey, I can be rude like that, just ask anybody.

Just in time for Christmas!

Kuenstler has the latest on the new Fauxvid vaccine, rigorously tested on eight (8) lab mice, every one of whom…ummm, got Fauxvid. Surprise! But the part I want to address involves another matter altogether, one that Our Side has been all abuzz about of late.

Following his Mouth-of-Hell speech last week, declaring war on half the country, “Joe Biden’s” prospects are dimming along with sclerotic circuits in his brainpan. The Party of Chaos is desperate to survive the midterm election. Therefore, look for them to grudge up an excuse to make them not happen. They need a “national emergency” and they’ll manufacture one if necessary. Wait for it.

Sorry, can’t see it. Not that The Enemy would refrain from cancelling the impending “election” out of moral or ethical concerns, mind. No, they won’t do it for a purely pragmatic reason. To wit: they don’t need to. That being the case, why should they, then? They pulled off the 2020 hijacking without a hitch; who even knows how many other times it’s been done over the years, but there can be no doubt that “Democrats” and “election fraud” go together like beans and cornbread. So far, it’s been a winning hand for ’em; why fold now?

Moreover, they’re cunning enough to know that perpetuating the battered and bruised charade of “elections” will far better serve their purposes than pulling back the curtain on exactly what they’re talking about when they sanctimoniously fulminate on “our sacred democracy,” an irreversible act that will affect the national state of play in all sorts of unpredictable ways, none of them happy-making, a risk-fraught throwing of a switch that can’t be switched back off again. Ever.

They know they need to keep the wool pulled over as many Real American eyes as possible, to make sure overly optimistic Milquetoast conservatives remain blindly invested in the idea of more-or-less “free and fair elections” for as long as they can. The transparent, brazen fraudulence of 2020’s farce was a blatant thumb in Election Integrity’s eye if ever there was one; the docile, supine non-response reassured them that a successful repeat performance was eminently possible.

Nope, I can conjure no reason whatsoever for them to cancel any elections, and every reason in the world NOT to. At least until they’re taught that it will assuredly cost them to do so, and I mean dearly.

Getting it now?

Vile bastards need to be made to bleed. No, I do NOT mean figuratively.

They Want Her Dead: Marjorie Taylor Greene Swatted for Second Night in a Row
For the second night in a row, police showed up at the home of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) in the early hours of Thursday morning, responding to a fake 911 call. Once again, it appears that someone on the Left is hoping to get Greene into a situation in which she or others in her home could be killed.

Two police officers rushed to Greene’s home in Rome, Ga., in response to a call they received at 2:53 a.m. The call, according to the Rome Police Department, was about “a male possibly shooting his family members and then himself.”

MSN reported that “the suspect, who called through an internet chat that appeared to be a suicide crisis line, falsely told police responders that a man ‘came out as trans-gender and claimed they shot the family’ at Greene’s address, the report said.” The caller gave his name as Wayne Greene and told police on the call: “If anyone tried to stop me from shooting myself, I will shoot them.” He also warned cops that “they would be waiting for us.”

At the house, there was, of course, no Wayne Greene. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene once again met the police officers at the front door, as she did in the early hours of Wednesday morning. They told her about the call and, according to the Rome Police Department, “confirmed this was a second false report.” The report added that the call can’t be traced, “due to the person(s) using a VPN.”

As Greene stated Wednesday, “This is how they get people killed…it’s like political terrorism.” Police responding to what they have been led to believe is a crisis situation could all too easily respond mistakenly but lethally to innocuous behavior, resulting in Greene’s death or the death of someone else at the house.

Terrorism—no need for that “political” modifier, since ALL terrorism is by definition political—is precisely what this is. Be assured, the investigation and/or prosecution (if any) of this heinous act of bona fide terrorism will be languid and lackadaisical at best, if not downright reluctant, MTG being considered by the Deep State and its various “law enforcement” entities as an approved, legitimate target. Bottom line?

This makes it clear yet again: radical Leftists are totalitarians. They want their opponents silenced. They want their opponents dead. They will brook no dissent.

Precisely, indubitably so. Rest assured that, henceforth, the only justice MTG or any other Real American can realistically expect to see visited upon their assailants and tormentors for their criminal brigandry is vigilante justice.

The author of all woe

Is the Mark-1, Mod-0 nitwit Peter Navarro aptly dubs the Clown Prince of Pennsylvania Avenue.

Take credit for what worked. Shift the blame for what didn’t. Run to Daddy-in-law whenever the big, bad chief of staff got in his way. That was Jared Kushner’s modus operandi during the long four years I had to serve alongside the man most responsible for the loss of the Trump White House.

Kushner came to the D.C. swamp on the coattails of his wife as nothing more than a young and rich, run-of-the-mill liberal New York Democrat with a worldview totally orthogonal to the president he was supposed to serve. Yet, within the West Wing, Kushner considered himself to be the ultimate “Trump whisperer.”

In private, Jared would boast about how he had brought the president back from whatever he considered the brink to be that day—whether it was securing the southern border, leaving NAFTA, or slapping tariffs on China. Never mind that he was derailing, deterring, and delaying Trump’s Make America Great Again agenda in real-time and at great political and economic costs.

Jared’s “neuter the boss” role quickly became a source of friction between us. He believed that I, more than anyone inside the West Wing, could “rile up” the president to take actions that were, in fact, totally consistent with Trump’s central campaign promises. But as this particular Wall Street transactionalist liked to say (and it always made me cringe): “That was the campaign. This is reality.”

In the cold light of a January West Wing day, there was simply no other explanation than nepotism to account for how this decidedly unqualified Clown Prince wound up sitting as a modern-day Rasputin at the right hand of Trump.

To this day, my old Boss still has no idea just how much damage Kushner/Rasputin did to the presidency and the Trump agenda during his four year reign of error at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. The work of fiction Jared is now readying for publication is just more self-serving manure to shovel over the past and obscure our view of the damage.

Fortunately, if Trump makes it back to the White House, it will be a Kushner-free zone. Kushner has already disqualified himself from future White House employment by cashing in on his White House connections to fund his many entrepreneurial ventures.

Can’t honestly say I’m unhappy to hear it.

Just another hill not worth dying on

It simply beggars belief that so many otherwise astute, clued-in people still fall into this intellectual trap.

Patriots are rightly angry with and frustrated by the attacks happening to Donald Trump. The Deep State seems bent on destroying him and they’re coming after all of us as well. But one of their primary steps along the way to achieving total control is to compel America First patriots into either participating in some form of civil war or disavowing such things and falling in line.

We can fight this. On today’s episode of The JD Rucker Show, I covered five ways we can fight them without sparking the civil war the powers-that-be so desperately want.

Before I get into those things, there are some preliminary considerations to keep in mind. First and foremost, the powers-that-be WANT a limited form of civil war. They may not (or perhaps they may) want large militia groups storming cities or hunkering down in impenetrable compounds, but they do want violence and acts of domestic terrorism to take place to justify whatever crackdown they impose against us.

DUDE, SRSLY? Do please explain to me, in clear and precise detail, why it is that you cling so obstinately to the delusion that they still care a single whit about “justifying” anything they do or say, to you or to anybody whatsoever else.

JD’s very next paragraph, particularly the part I’ll put in bold, suggests that deep down inside, he knows better than that.

Second, they want to split America First patriots into two groups. The first group are those who will remain silent and complacent out of fear of being targeted. These patriots won’t really fight back, so they’ll be allowed to exist in the totalitarian world envisioned by the globalist elites. The second groups are those of us who won’t sit back idly and who won’t comply. They want us jailed or dead.

Indeed they do. Over the last several years, it has become all too clear that [wpdiscuz-feedback id=”0lsasx7f0r” question=”Comments? Complaints? Thoughts?” opened=”0″]they no longer feel any compunction about keeping that sort of thing on the down-low[/wpdiscuz-feedback]. These days, they’re perfectly open and up-front about their intentions for us. But yeah, they need us to jump salty with ’em so’s they’ll have the requisite “justification” for jailing and/or killing us. Which jailing and/or killing they’ve been doing right along, mind, without waiting around for any “justification” of any kind to help them do it.

In sum, then, a thing that never mattered to them even slightly, according to the available evidence, is of paramount importance to them all of a mysterious sudden. Because, y’know, reasons.

Riiiight.

The third consideration is that Donald Trump is very likely to be indicted. They seem willing to do anything, including manufacturing charges and arresting the rightful president, just to make sure they take us over our breaking point.

To judge from this essay of yours, JD, are we sure we actually even have a breaking point? Isn’t it the core contention of those who promulgate arguments like this one that it’s vital that we DON’T, or at least that we never act as if we might? That, no matter what they might do to, with, or about us, Our Side must remain passive and inert, lest they take resistance as a “justification” which green-lights…um, well, all the things they plan to do to us anyway, some of which they’re already doing.

If you think things are bad now, imagine if Trump is frog-marched.

By all means, DO imagine it–ALL of it, every aspect: the reasons it came to pass; the true motivations, character, and credibility of those behind it; what it says about the state of the nation’s central government, its institutions, and its people.

Ponder all that for a while, and then ask yourself: Is there really NO point at which we think things probably OUGHT to get “bad”? NO line that we’ll refuse to let them cross? No profanation so vile, no trespass so egregious, no insult so gross as to rouse us into righteous retribution?

They rigged the 2020 election, disenfranchising tens of millions of American voters and destroying their faith and trust in their national systems and institutions permanently with an act of contempt so extravagant, so profound, as to take one’s breath away—all this and much, much more they did, without suffering meaningful consequences for any of it. [wpdiscuz-feedback id=”2x1vw9z2qf” question=”Comments? Complaints? Thoughts?” opened=”0″]Do you REALLY think it’s a good idea to just blandly tolerate such audacious criminality as if it was no big thing?[/wpdiscuz-feedback]

Lastly, it’s important that we do not take for granted that our fellow America First patriots are aware of any of this. Spread the word. If we let emotions drive our actions as a movement, we will be quickly and completely quashed.

What, you’re telling me we could be MORE completely quashed?

Today’s show may be the most important one I’ve done in regards to immediate implications. We need to remain calm and act from intellect rather than pure anger. With that said, here are the five ways we can fight back without sparking a civil war.

Later in the piece, JD says that we face “an existential threat to America,” which is the incontestable truth. That being so, is the cause of defending her helped or harmed by preemptively declaring certain tools, tactics, and endeavors out of bounds for Team Liberty’s use?

What we need are peaceful groups who will help organize rallies, file lawsuits, and expose the Deep State to as many people as possible.

Uh huh. And when rallies, lawsuits, and “exposure” fail to remove The Enemy’s boot from our necks, what then? Do we admit defeat and forever forsake the cause of liberty? Do we roll over and show our yellow bellies to our victorious Masters? When political solutions have proven inadequate to solve the problems created by politics, as they invariably will, do we just quietly accept the bit at long last? Do we put our shoulders to the wheel and resolve that, from this day forward, we shall do exactly as we are told?

Forbid it, almighty God!

People get ready

They won’t stop.

It’s Inevitable: Trump Will Be Indicted
Americans should prepare for the spectacle of Donald Trump pleading not guilty to charges brought by the Biden Justice Department.

It now appears inevitable that the Justice Department will bring criminal charges against the former president. FBI Director Christopher Wray’s stunt at Mar-a-Lago on August 8 is part of creating the optical illusion that Donald Trump is guilty of any number of crimes related to January 6 or the mishandling of secret government documents—or both. On Monday, the Justice Department subpoenaed another Trump White House lawyer as the legal momentum accelerates.

As evidence mounts that Trump supporters cannot get a fair trial in Washington—surveys of prospective jurors conducted by defense counsel show a heavy bias against January 6 protesters—D.C. District Court judges have denied each change of venue motion. Coverage of the January 6 select committee hearings undoubtedly has amplified that bias, especially for high-profile defendants such as members of the Oath Keepers. The committee has focused on the roles of both the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys, airing videos of their conduct that day and attempting to tie these alleged militias to Donald Trump.

A week after a former member of the Oath Keepers testified before a televised hearing in July, defense attorneys representing the Oath Keepers filed another motion to delay the trial and move it out of D.C. “The main point we have to consider is that you have a congressional committee that goes out and paints the Oath Keepers as white supremacists,” one defense attorney explained to Judge Amit Mehta, another Obama appointee.

Ahh, there’s another of those hunnert-and-ten-percent all-American names again, like I mentioned the other night.

Mehta rejected the argument and took umbrage at another attorney’s suggestion the committee’s work was political. “This is not a forum to express your political views or your views about the motivations of the committee,” Mehta scolded. “I don’t think they’re hosting the hearings just to interrupt this trial.”

He denied the motion; the first Oath Keepers trial begins next month. It’s possible the Justice Department will charge Trump for conspiracy for allegedly working with the “militias” to attack the Capitol.

This is the legal and judicial circle of hell now fired up to come for President Trump—a vengeful Justice Department run by Obama loyalists working with a weaponized FBI to bring criminal charges against hundreds of Trump supporters who then face the wrath of enraged judges of both political parties. There is no way out.

And at this point, there’s no way out for Merrick Lavrentiy (FIFYA—M) Garland, either. Democrats have raised expectations that Trump soon will be in handcuffs; failure to do so will result in a harsh backlash by their own voters this fall. After six years of promises, Democrats better deliver the goods on Trump or face intra-party revolt.

Americans should prepare for the inevitable—the unprecedented sight of a former president pleading not guilty to crimes he is alleged to have committed by a Justice Department run by his successor and potential rival in the next presidential election.

Fair enough, I suppose, as long as the filthy, fascist Do(In)J is fully awake themselves to the need to prepare for an appropriately, umm, kinetic response when they fit Trump for the shiny chrome bracelets.

Of course, Jules is right, although by pulling up short at “indicted,” she didn’t take the thought quite as far as she should have. At this point, can anybody still seriously imagine that Trump is NOT headed directly to prison, via any stratagem, pretext, or ruse the federal juggernaut can gin up for the purpose? In the immortal words of good ol’ Mike Ness:

Update! A few words excreted by the villainous, conniving scumsack who OUGHT to be facing indictment and a nice, long prison stretch instead of the blameless Trump.

The man who was one half of “The Lovers,” as President Trump called them, disgraced FBI investigator Peter Strzok, Mr. Russia Collusion hoax extraordinaire himself, has implored America to trust the FBI on the Mar-a-Lago raid.

Please clap.

Strzok appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe program to argue in support of the integrity of the FBI because they really mean it this time.

Host Joe Scarborough caused a spit-take when he said in passing that “we never believed” the Steele Dossier “from the start.” But the dossier turd was polished by Scarborough’s own guest and Strzok’s on-the-side honey, FBI Attorney Lisa Page. Joe’s bloviation continued and he eventually got to a question, sort of, with the pronouncement, “the FBI makes mistakes, the church makes mistakes, people make mistakes. Should this be any reason for Americans not trust what the FBI and DOJ are doing now in pursuit of protecting classified documents? [sic]”

Sit down, because you’re not going to believe what Strzok said. “Well, yes, Joe, absolutely the American public should trust what the FBI’s doing.” He continued, conflating the “Midyear Exam” — Hillary Clinton’s email scandal — with “Crossfire Hurricane” — the fake Russia Collusion scam — and the raid on President Donald Trump’s home. “You know, I think back on the year and a half I spent with the team looking at Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server. There was no concern, there was no outrage on behalf of any Republican.” Which brings to mind a question: Why would any Republican be upset about the investigation into the chardonnay-swilling Secretary of State keeping a non-government server on which she did sensitive government business at home? For all the world’s sophisticated spy agencies to read secret State Department files — and, of course, Hillary’s Yoga poses and Chelsea’s wedding plans? In that case, Republicans asked for an investigation, not an invasion.

“We used search warrants and conducted a very invasive investigation…It’s not that the FBI is targeting any one side or the other.” Scarborough sat stone-faced as Strzok went on, “What you see is the FBI going out on a day-in and day-out basis, objectively investigating allegations of law.” Joe never followed up with a query about the FBI raiding Hillary’s Chappaqua manse, which didn’t happen.

“Trust us,” is it? Die in a fucking fire, Government-man. The very fact that you still walk the Earth a free man is a shame and a disgrace, one which befouls the very concept of decency and honor.

Indoctrination, not education

Let’s just call it what it really is, shall we?

Forgive the grim opening to this, but children are now taught about masturbation at school aged 3-6. And parents are being told these lessons are compulsory.

Not “grooming”. Not “sexualising children”. Not “insanely creepy & inappropriate”. Compulsory.

Call it a conspiracy all you want, there is a very dark, heavy agenda at play & this is part of it…

So is the gender confusion indoctrination…

And the virus fear indoctrination & misplaced sense of responsibility…

And the climate fear indoctrination, manipulation & guilt-bashing…

And the ‘need’ for a ‘convenient’ cashless society indoctrination…

And the ‘be kind’ at all costs indoctrination…

And the ‘fear to stand against the norm, however fucked up it is because the herd will leap on you like an angry pack of pre-programmed hyenas & you’ll deserve everything that’s coming to you’ indoctrination…

And the war propaganda indoctrination…

And all the rest of the horsecrap we’re being bombarded with from all directions.

It’s all coming into schools for a reason. More & more. It’s not even covert or insidious anymore.

They have drag queens looking like plastic sex dolls reading stories to 4-year-olds & parents who are too ‘kind & liberal’ to say get the fuck away from my child.

They have people injecting children with experimental drugs created by known criminals to ‘save’ the elderly who’ve already had 5 of the bloody things.

They have teachers regurgitating government fear-porn to children because ‘it’s just what’s on the curriculum.’

Kids being dressed up in whatever colours are in keeping with the latest propaganda push. Doesn’t matter what you or they think, as long as it’s in keeping with ‘the done thing’.

Has ‘the done thing’ ever been louder?

Has going against it ever been less popular?

Have we ever been more mindlessly obedient & afraid to question authority?

And if so, where did we learn that?

I often wonder what it will take for this to end. To cause the snap.

Oh, I think we all know well enough by now: shitlib corpses stacked like cordwood. Nothing more nor less. Bayou Peter, after appending a blast of righteous fury from a self-confessed Leftist education to his own post on the matter, notes:

Propaganda is not only being force-fed to our children to make them conform; the force-feeding is being done by those who actively prey on our children for their own warped, sick, criminal purposes. As just one example, Fox News reports:”At least 181 K-12 educators charged with child sex crimes in first half of 2022″. Note that’s only educators who’ve been charged. The number still under investigation, and the number who’ve not (yet) been detected, must be many times larger.

Indubitably so, yes. Is there any light to be seen at the end of this deep, dark tunnel? Indubitably so, yes.

There’s something very concrete all of us can do: get behind the increasing efforts, local, state and nationwide, to take back our education system from the politically correct and restore it to what it should be. We’re seeing that in more and more school systems, where right-thinking candidates are being elected to school boards and are cracking down on much of the “woke” nonsense they’re finding there. Good for them, say I, and the more the merrier!

Indeed. As I’ve maintained for many years now, the roots of most of our problems are not by any means hard to find: they’re in the propagandizing and brainwashing mills our schools have been turned into, purposefully and with malicious intent. Unless and until Real Americans reclaim their schools and clear the Commie rats from the nest entirely, our woes will remain intractable.

UPRISING!

Everything old is new again.

There seems to be a glaring mismatch between the two sides and their Senate leaders. Unless they play by the same rules, however, we may be headed for a situation that bears some resemblance to the one that caused the Nationalist uprising in Spain in July 1936. As the leading historian of that cataclysm Stanley Payne shows, by the summer of 1936, the leftists running the government had abandoned any semblance of fair play and could scarcely be described as constitutionally minded. Much of the Spanish Left energetically supported three coups against the Spanish Republic, did nothing to stop assassinations and bombings carried out by anarchists and radical socialists, and after February 1936 jailed their opposition. Although the uprising against the Left did not lead to the restoration of constitutional government in Spain, it may have been warranted, given the extent to which order had broken down. Although I doubt we can muster a Right as large and determined as the one that existed in Spain in 1936 or that we’re on the verge of the long, bloody civil war of the kind that lasted there until 1939, our ideological divisions seem every bit as profound.

In any case, the mismatch that now exists between our revolutionary Left and their mostly tepid, confrontation-shy opposition cannot go on indefinitely. Those playing defense must learn to battle back or else retreat into historical irrelevance. Just about all Senate Democrats voted twice to remove Trump from office, supported a congressional bill that would have legalized abortion up until birth everywhere, and endorsed the federalization of elections without safeguards. They also openly flout Supreme Court decisions, whether on abortion or the carrying of concealed weapons, if these decisions don’t advance their interests.

Democrats sat smiling as the summer of violence their leaders financed raged on two years ago. And they are not exactly broken up that their partisans are now threatening the homes and lives of uncooperative Supreme Court justices. Not a single Democratic Senator broke rank to vote for any Trump pick for the Supreme Court; nor can I recall Democrats who voted to confirm any Trump cabinet appointee. Where exactly do we find evidence of Democratic bipartisanship?

At the very least Republicans should stop speaking about restoring a relationship that no longer exists. It should stop imagining that a return to bipartisanship will occur if their side “cooperates.” The late, esteemed Angelo Codevilla issued this warning to the Democrats in September 2021:

The Democratic Party’s practical error, with regard to vaccination as with regard to the way it ended the U.S. presence in Afghanistan, is the hubris by which it has forgotten that when you make war on anyone, they may well make war on you.

We are still waiting for Codevilla’s prediction to come true, which means for a Republican opposition to push back with vigor.

Oh, it’s gonna have to mean a whole hell of a lot more than just that, if we truly expect to ever see real, meaningful change.

The long and the short of it

Divemedic ain’t having any of that EV bushwa.

This is why I won’t buy an electric pickup (or any electric vehicle): the new electric F-150 only has a 100 mile range when towing.

Actually, I’m shocked that it’s even capable of towing at all, whether for 300 miles or 300 feet.

Part of owning a vehicle of any type, what makes it such an American experience is that owning a vehicle is freedom. Freedom to go where you want. Electric vehicles with 300 miles or less of range take that from you, tethering you to a short distance from your home. The quintessential American road trip will cease to exist if electric cars become the norm. A part of America will die with the automobile.

That’s the whole idea, natch. At the end of the day, the shitlibs’ determination to hang the EV albatros around American necks isn’t about efficiency, pollution, Climate Change (formerly Global Warming, formerly Global Cooling, formerly “the weather”), saving Gaia, or anything else. It’s about freedom, see—they hate it like the cancer, can’t abide the thought of anybody having any, and will go to any and every conceivable length to put a stop to it forever.

Preview of coming attractions

They got away scot-free with it in 2020, so they’d NEVER try it again. Right?

Wrong.

The signs of impending election manipulation on a national scale are all around us, if you have eyes to see and ears to hear them.  It’s already manifesting itself in a minor way, and that’ll gear up to a hurricane by November.

Consider these recent headlines:

  • Something Stinks in Colorado – How did an unknown candidate like Mike O’Donnell manage to garner as many votes as a national political figure like Tina Peters? This question, ladies and gentlemen, is what leads you down the rabbit hole of America’s bogus election system.
  • How Did A Zuckerberg Charity Stooge Win A GOP Primary In Colorado? – Isn’t it strange that the director of Mark Zuckerberg’s private election charity for Democrats (on temporary leave!) just won the most important election integrity race in Colorado — and a GOP primary no less — as a write-in candidate with a 35 point polling swing with no money and no visible support from Republicans? One more thing: Colorado uses Dominion Voting Machines.
  • Several NYC Election Sites Had ‘No Republican Ballots’ During Last Week’s Primary.
  • The Fix Is In – Democrats Start to Prep America for Their Mid-Term Steal.
  • Letter from a Reader on the Democrats’ Plans to Steal the 2022 Election.
  • EXCLUSIVE: FOIAs Reveal Progressive Money Fueling FBI, DOJ, Leftist Activist and Election Official Coordination – Freedom of information requests have uncovered oddball and opaque relationships between some state election officials, federal officials, corporations, progressive activists, and those trying to influence the conduct of those same election officials…this fluid consortium has built structures that match powerful funding—with fringe ideological activists, with government offices—in an effort to…reorient the administration of elections in ways that benefit progressives, such as wide use of automatic mail voting.

I still have contacts in the Department of Justice, dating back to my days as a prison chaplain. Some of those with whom I had contact in those days, in more than one federal agency, have now reached relatively senior rank. I spoke with a few of them last week, and every one confirmed that there seems to be an air of blithe confidence in the upper reaches of federal government bureaucracy that the Biden administration will be able to continue with its programs, no matter what happens in November. It’s being blatantly referred to as “business as usual, before and after November”. Strange, that, when you read headlines like “Joe Biden and Democrats Stare Into the Abyss After Latest Poll Drops”. It doesn’t sound like the progressive left is staring into any abyss that worries them, does it? – particularly when you read the articles linked above.

Supporting links throughout, which as usual I didn’t transcribe. Bayou Pete has tons more, nearly all of it as disheartening as it is deeply, deeply disturbing. In sum:

Folks, we saw massive electoral manipulation in November 2020. Call it what you like, legal or illegal, valid or invalid, it’s my personal opinion that it amounted to nothing more or less than electoral fraud – a deliberate distortion of the overall popular vote by manipulating certain targeted areas and their voters. I think what we saw then is a pale shadow of what we’re going to see in November 2022. The powers that be are bound and determined that they’re not going to lose control of the House and/or Senate, no matter how unpopular their party may have become; and they have (or believe they have) the tools to make sure that happens, no matter what the will of the electorate may be. They’re going to use every one of those tools, and then some, to win. They are already using them, as the articles linked above demonstrate.

As individuals, we can’t affect what may happen on a national scale;  but we can affect what happens on a local scale. If you care about our constitutional republic, and the democratic expression of the will of the people, please get involved. Volunteer as a poll watcher, or a vote counter, or whatever posts may be available in your area. Support those who are trying to run the election honestly, and watch like a hawk those who are doing otherwise. Speak out. Make sure the election administrators in your area know they’re under scrutiny. Get their names, addresses and other information that may help in future when it comes to dealing with the consequences of any shenanigans.

We know the electoral manipulation tsunami is coming. Let’s start preparing now, so that in its aftermath we can deal with the damage and minimize its long-term effects. Also, no matter how optimistic the forecasts, don’t assume that any side or party has the November 2022 elections “in the bag”. Anything can (and may well) happen between now and then. I expect the dirty tricks to fly thick and fast before we get to the voting booth.

At this stage of the game, Praetorian Media’s continuing, nonchalant dismissal of “Trump’s baseless, unsupported charges” of election chicanery are enough to make any Real American want to puke…or, perhaps, do something a little more, shall we say, kinetically proactive in response.

You guys already know my feelings about all this, so I’ll spare you any further belaboring of that particular point for the nonce. As I’ve said before, it really makes one wonder just how long such shenanigans have been part and parcel of our national “elections,” do it not?

Illegitami? Non carborundum

Daddy, tell me the story again about how we can live peaceably with these “people.” That one’s my favorite.

If you are under 40, you grew up in a world in which a Republican being President was deemed per se illegitimate. You grew up in a world where what those illegitimate Presidents did was per se illegitimate. It is the air you breathed and the water you drank. This is what you know.

This is simply the truth. Bush was installed by the Supreme Court and then did *handwave* something wrong to be re-elected, after all, he shouldn’t have been President in the first place. Republicans play a game with the Electoral College, which is anti-democratic, to win.

Every Republican President is wrong and everything they do is wrong, and Trump let Russians change votes to make him President so what he did was extra super wrong. Since everything they did is wrong, then every action they took is wrong and SCOTUS is illegitimate. It’s logic.

It is irrelevant whether this is true. It is what two generations of people have been told. People believe this because why would those people who are the experts in politics say this if it wasn’t true? That’s what they are paid to do, that’s what they know, they wouldn’t lie.

I comprehend the urge to eyeroll when the wailing starts about how SCOTUS is illegitimate because the justices were appointed by Presidents who did not win the popular vote and thus are illegitimate. It is eyeroll worthy. However. Enormous numbers of people who vote believe this.

Many a pixel has been slain, and that’s just by me, decrying the total lack of knowledge of how the American electoral system works. Many more have been slain noting how destructive this is to public discourse. I am here to tell you that it will only get worse.

Another part of my internet life is very Left indeed. I keep my mouth shut over there because that’s where I go to try to escape politics. I am here to tell you that the Kids These Days do not understand what Dobbs did. They believe, utterly, that abortion was just banned.

They believe that Republicans are an existential threat to democracy and that Republicans should be banned from all manner of things, practicing medicine, practicing law, going to college at all, holding jobs, partaking in society at large. Because Republicans are evil and cheat.

A very few people there know that I have a JD and I was asked privately to explain what Dobbs meant. When I told those people that Dobbs meant states decided abortion laws and that CA and NY now have some of the most permissive laws in the world, I was met with shock.

Why? Because all the news sources they consume told them otherwise. I was accused of lying. I was accused of making it up. And when they went and checked and found out I was correct, the utter cognitive dissonance was painful to behold. Because these sources they trust lied.

The response was not to question worldview and whether those sources were lying to them about other matters. The response was ego defense. Okay well this is wrong but TX banned and that’s what the rest of the country will do and they weren’t lying, they were just upset!

That is the mental barrier with which messaging that’s not fully of the Left, let alone being of the Right, is up against. Two generations of being told that Republicans are evil cheaters who aren’t a legitimate political party. Two generations of no civics education, not really.

People don’t like to question priors because doing so means admitting you did not interpret the world correctly and the ego will defend against that. It’s been +/- 18 years since I’ve had to admit my view of Middle Eastern geopolitics was absolutely wrong. I’m still bitter.

We discuss Othering and that is also a problem. But there are two generations of Americans for whom a baseline worldview is that if the Republicans win, that can be ignored because it’s not legitimate. And that I don’t see changing. It’s only going to get uglier from here.

As is alexthechick’s usual wont, she’s right, and you know she is.

It becomes more undeniable with every passing day that the Left really, truly does want us eliminated, that they want a war with us; hell, they’re now to the point of saying so explicitly and unequivocally, not even bothering with the usual evasion and dissembling. We avoid acknowledging this brutal reality at our own mortal peril. Just this once, they should be given exactly what they say they want, just as hard and ferociously as it can possibly be given to them: unrestricted war, no-shit war, HOT war. War to the knife, knife to the fucking hilt. Shoot them, stab them, garrote them, beat them bloody with fists and feet. Let the pitiful remnant of shell-shocked survivors of our long-postponed wrath lapse into full-bore catatonia at the merest suggestion they might ever even DREAM of fucking with us again.
