Cooper on violence, and other things

After running across a great LTC Jeff Cooper quote on the topic of violence over at GFZ, to wit…

One bleeding-heart type asked me in a recent interview if I did not agree that ‘violence begets violence.’ I told him that it is my earnest endeavor to see that it does. I would like very much to ensure – and in some cases I have – that any man who offers violence to his fellow citizen begets a whole lot more in return than he can enjoy.

…I decided to dig around the Innarnuts for more of the same good stuff, and found—well, not a ton, but somewhat more of it than I really expected. Enjoy.

Fight back! Whenever you are offered violence, fight back! The aggressor does not fear the law, so he must be taught to fear you. Whatever the risk, and at whatever the cost, fight back!

The only acceptable response to the threat of lethal violence is immediate and savage counterattack. If you resist, you just may get killed. If you don’t resist you almost certainly will get killed. It is a tough choice, but there is only one right answer.

Any man who is a man may not, in honor, submit to threats or violence. But many men who are not cowards are simply unprepared for the fact of human savagery.

Weapons compound man’s power to achieve; they amplify the capabilities of both the good man and the bad, and to exactly the same degree, having no will of their own. Thus we must regard them as servants, not masters – and good servants to good men. Without them, man is diminished, and his opportunities to fulfill his destiny are lessened. An unarmed man can only flee from evil, and evil is not overcome by fleeing from it.

If you find yourself under lethal attack don’t be kind. Be harsh. Be tough. Be ruthless.

The police cannot protect the citizen at this stage of our development, and they cannot even protect themselves in many cases. It is up to the private citizen to protect himself and his family, and this is not only acceptable, but mandatory.

If you don’t understand weapons you don’t understand fighting. If you don’t understand fighting you don’t understand war. If you don’t understand war you don’t understand history. And if you don’t understand history you might as well live with your head in a sack.

The will to survive is not as important as the will to prevail…the answer to criminal aggression is retaliation.

According to Herodotus, the ancient Persians felt that what was necessary in the background of a young man entering adulthood was his ability to ride, shoot straight, and speak the truth. Perhaps we should now grant our college degrees to young men who measure up to that standard.

Dead accurate. For anybody here who might be unfamiliar with Col Cooper—which I can neither comprehend nor forgive—he was nothing less than a bona fide American icon, a giant among men whose passing in 2006 diminished us all. Some biographical info:

John Dean “Jeff” Cooper (May 10, 1920 – September 25, 2006) was a United States Marine, the creator of the “modern technique” of handgun shooting, and an expert on the use and history of small arms.

Cooper was born in Los Angeles where he enrolled in the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps at Los Angeles High School. He graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He received a regular commission in the United States Marine Corps (USMC) in September 1941. During World War II he served in the Pacific theatre with the Marine Detachment aboard USS Pennsylvania. By the end of the war he had been promoted to major. He resigned his commission in 1949, but returned to active duty during the Korean War, where he claimed to be involved in irregular warfare, and was promoted to lieutenant colonel. After the Korean War, the Marine Corps declined his application to remain on active duty. In the mid-1960s, he received a master’s degree in history from the University of California, Riverside. From the late 1950s through the early 1970s, he was a part-time high school and community college history teacher.

In 1976, Cooper founded the American Pistol Institute (API) in Paulden, Arizona (later the Gunsite Academy). Cooper began teaching shotgun and rifle classes to both law enforcement and military personnel, as well as civilians, and did on-site training for individuals and groups from around the world. He sold the firm in 1992, but continued living on the Paulden ranch. He was known for his advocacy of large caliber handguns, especially the Colt 1911 and the .45 ACP cartridge.

Exemplars like Jeff Cooper are never in abundant supply at any time, in any place. In present-day America we have not only lost all capacity to birth and nurture them, but to appreciate their inestimable worth. Actually, it’s even worse than that: many if not most of us seem to actively hold such men in contempt, to perceive them not as representations of national glory but as shameful throwbacks, people whose excision is the only hope for real progress.

Organization Men

Brandon Smith offers some ideas on how one might go about this thing.

There is a simple fact that must be understood when it comes to the fight for liberty: Such a fight cannot be won by lone individuals. Freedom requires organized resistance and it does not matter how many millions of people stand against an authoritarian regime, if they are completely isolated from each other they WILL lose. It’s a guarantee.

Actually, I’m kinda conflicted on that. Admittedly, humans seem to be genetically predisposed to create organizations and hierarchical leadership structures to run them. In this context, though, organizing at anything above squad- or cell-level numbers will also create infiltration and surveillance/intel-gathering opportunities, among other highly undesirable failure points.

Many of us are already clamoring about the need to organizate, and expressing great frustration that no inspiring Great Man has yet appeared to lead Patriots into battle, then on to ultimate victory. I don’t hold with any of that myself. When the time is right and the need for him is apparent, Team LIberty will find the leader it needs readily enough. Until then, such a person will only make himself a target, a resource whose usefulness the Enemy will identify and exploit posthaste. Unsurprisingly Brandon is smart and experienced enough to know it.

It is important to understand the difference between a Lexington Bridge moment and a Fort Sumter moment – During Lexington Bridge, the revolutionaries took action to stop a British detachment from arresting colonial leaders and confiscating rifles and powder stores. The British were in the midst of an undeniable attempt to disarm and snuff out the resistance. At Fort Sumter, the Confederate attack was in response to an attempted resupply of the fort itself; which made sense strategically but looked like an act of pure aggression to the wider public. The concept of states rights (more prominent in the minds of the confederates than the issue of slavery) fell by the wayside.

Eventually tyranny has to put boots on the ground. A totalitarian system can function for a time on color of law and implied threats, but it will crumble unless it is able to establish a physical presence of force. Once those jackboots touch soil in a visible way and the agents of the state try to expand oppressive measures, rebels then have a free hand to disrupt them or bring them down. But this only works if there are objectives and enough decentralization to prevent misdirection of the movement.

Some organization is essential. It cannot be avoided. All the “Gray Men” and secret squirrel preppers out there that think they are going to simply weather the storm in isolation and pop out of their bug-out locations to rebuild are suffering from serious delusions. I can’t help but think of that moment in ‘Lord Of The Rings’ when the Ents refuse to organize to fight against the invading orcs. Pippen suggests to Merry that the problem is too big for them and that they should go back to the Shire to wait out the war. Merry laments:

“The fires of Isengard will spread. And the woods of Tuckborough and Buckland will burn. And all that was once green and good in this world will be gone. There won’t be a Shire, Pippin.”

If this fight is not pursued now, there will be no world worth coming back to, even if one was able to successfully hide from it. There will be a “new world order” as the globalists like to call it. There will be nothing left of freedom.

So, organization must be accomplished, and it should be built at the local level. This is far more important than any dreams of a national organization, at least for now. There is no one we can trust to lead such a nationwide revolt, and that includes political leaders like Donald Trump.

And on that last, I feel no conflict or uncertainty whatever—Brandon is one hundred percent correct, right down the line. The dilemna we face at present is a thorny one indeed, of which the “who do ya trust, who do ya trust” issue is one of the largest and sharpest. Yes, you’ll want to read all of it. Delve into the comments too; as is his wont, Brandon pops up there throughout, and the insights he provides there are every bit as not-to-be-missed as the article itself.

Since Brandon was clever enough to bring up Lord Of The Rings as a metaphor, and since I already recommended his comments section, one of the posters therein suggests this next as a sort of companion piece, one whose aptness regarding the current contretemps will have any Tolkien fan nodding his head in quiet satisfaction.* The opening sets the stage:

“Do you not yet understand? My time is over: it is no longer my task to set things to rights, nor to help folk to do so. And as for you, my dear friends, you will need no help. You are grown up now. Grown indeed very high; among the great you are, and I have no longer any fear at all for any of you.”
The Lord of the Rings, Loc. 996

“‘Good, good!’ cried Farmer Cotton. ‘So it’s begun at last! I’ve been itching for trouble all this year, but folks wouldn’t help.”
The Lord of the Rings, Loc. 1008

Introduction
There are many things to be learned in Middle Earth, and this would include things that we all once knew, but have since forgotten. And the things we have forgotten fall into two categories. We have forgotten some of the things we have already completely lost, and we have also forgotten the foundation of some of the remaining things we (for some reason) still have. We have forgotten what is long gone, and we have forgotten what might still preserve our remaining good.

In The Lord of the Rings, the hobbits of the Shire, protected as they were by the Rangers, took all their peace and security for granted. All that peace and security was somehow their birthright. It was just how things were, of necessity. It would just continue, right? All by itself, isn’t that correct? Well, no.

In other words, they forgot the basis of their security and safety long before they actually lost their security and safety. And this meant that once they were in trouble, and knew they were in trouble, they were leaderless and didn’t know the way out. When despotic and irrational rule takes over any people, the corruption is centralized and organized, while the unhappiness with the corruption is decentralized and not organized at all. The corrupt ones are organized and have a plan, and those who suffer under their ministrations haven’t even thought about a plan.

But once the hobbits had that necessary leadership—which came in the form of Merry and Pippin, and Frodo and Sam—they found they had hidden reserves. These hobbits of the Shire found they had hidden reserves because they were rallied by those four adventurous hobbits who had found out earlier about their hidden reserves.

I recently finished reading The Lord of the Rings (yet again), and the penultimate chapter is The Scouring of the Shire—which to my mind is the most satisfying episode in the whole trilogy, and as you well know, that is saying something.

But this time through, it was different. It struck me, reading through that chapter, that there were numerous things that Americans of our generation really need to learn from this. And so I have assembled some of those lessons in a reasonable order, and have made some observations about what the hobbits learned. I was astonished at how much their situation was parallel to ours.

He’s perfectly right to be, I couldn’t agree more: the parallels are in fact nothing short of astonishing. Once you’ve seen them, it’s hard to imagine how you ever missed them in the first place. Then again, a certain timeless relevance is characteristic of all truly great literature—one of the traits that defines great literature, actually. The above excerpt ought to be enough to whet your appetite for more, I believe. It’s a long ‘un, but well worth your time and attention, whether you’re a devotee of Tolkien’s books (I definitely am, since the age of about, oh, thirteen or thereabouts) or not.

*NOTE: That would be the books, I mean, not the movies. Peter Jackson’s magisterial film adaption left the Scouring of the Shire chapters that close ROTK out of the third movie altogether, an omission that baffled some and angered others. Personally, I wasn’t bothered by it, since he had already made such a bang-up job of cramming in everything else. If Jackson had included it, he would have needed FOUR movies to do it, not three. Just thought I’d mention it, since that last article uses the Scouring as its springboard and central focus.

Never trust a liar

Y’all may have noticed that I’ve had very little to say regarding the various recounts, audits, and what-have-you that have been grinding endlessly on in two or three states. There’s more than one reason for that, but mostly they all come down to one thing: even if they produced iron-clad, incontrovertible proof that the 2020 “election” was stolen—which, we all already know full well that it was—well, what then? Is there a man alive so hopelessly naive as to imagine that, in acknowledgment of these proofs, Biden would bow his head in shame and contrition; mumble an incoherent, rambling apology for the “error”; then pack his grip and stumble on back to Delaware?

Of course not; the very idea of it is ridiculous. No, the “election” was indeed fraudulent; Biden is “****president****”, for whatever that’s still worth and whatever it still means to anybody; and it’ll stay that way a few more months, maybe a year, until he finally croaks and Cumala the Willie Wanker is sworn in. That’s all there is to it. If we truly do want this issue properly addressed, we’re going to have to do it ourselves. There ain’t but just the one way to do that, and we all already know what it is.

That said, though, there’s also this:

Biden Breaking Bad | Kunstler
Up this afternoon (Friday) for instance: the results of the Maricopa, AZ, election audit. The New York Times has declared a preliminary draft of the audit “a cap-gun ending to an inquiry whose backers hinted would turn up a cannonade of fraud.” Their conclusion: “Joe Biden” won the 2020 election fair-and-square. That would be momentous if it were true, but is it? Or is it just the juke of a player that typically runs zig-zags through the facts? The Times certainly has an interest in, shall we say, getting ahead of the story in its never-ending quest to control the narrative — as opposed to delivering actual news fit to print. I’m standing by to sort out the jokers from the face-cards.

Basically I see this NYT piece as battlefield prep, and the revealing of the Official Line as to regarding the Maricopa Audit.

In my experience, the audit could show that half of all of Biden’s votes in Maricopa Country were fraudulent in some way or other, but the NYT and its harem of emasculated “journalism” outlets would repeat in unison, “Proof positive that “Joe Biden” won fair and square.”

Unfortunately, I’ve been worried for quite a while that the Maricopa audit results would not be nearly as clear cut or explosive as we’ve been promised.

We’ve seen a nearly unbroken string of “selling the sizzle,” but when the plate arrives it turns out to be “where’s the beef?”

We’ll know more this afternoon, but my early hunch is that the “sizzle” will turn out to be more of a fizzle.

Bill waxes even more depressed after that already-bleak assessment:

UPDATE:

Arizona audit draft report confirms Biden beat Trump in 2020
A monthslong hand recount of Maricopa County’s 2020 vote confirmed that President Joe Biden won and the election was not “stolen” from former President Donald Trump, according to early versions of a report prepared for the Arizona Senate.

The three-volume report by the Cyber Ninjas, the Senate’s lead contractor, includes results that show Trump lost by a wider margin than the county’s official election results. The data in the report also confirms that U.S. Sen. Mark Kelly won in the county.

If this turns out to be accurate, the entire “Trump lost in 2020 because the election was fraudulently stolen” narrative will collapse and blow away within 24 hours.

At least among everybody but the truest of true believers.

Don’t buy into it. The NYT is indeed propagandizing, prepping the battlespace and shoring up the morale of their drooltard Leftist audience. But it’s all smoke…no, let’s just be completely frank here: it’s nothing more than a steaming, stinking pile of their usual horseshit lies.

Ignore the MSM: Here’s What the 2020 Maricopa County Election Audit Actually Says
“The partisan review of Maricopa County’s 2.1 million ballots cast in the 2020 election found a vote count nearly identical to what the county had previously reported,” CNN reported. Like other liberal outlets, CNN focused on the results of the hand-recount part of the audit. As we know, hand recounts may account for slight discrepancies in counting but do not address irregularities or potentially illegally cast ballots.

So, let’s look into what the audit actually says.

By all means, let’s—not so much because this report or any other is going to change a goddamned thing, but just because having a look-see for ourselves is precisely what the NYT, CNNBCCBPBS, and the rest of the Usual Suspects™ would infinitely prefer us NOT do.

Follows, a bullet-point list from the draft report’s summary, and then this.

The audit team faults Maricopa County officials for not cooperating with the audit, which would have resolved many of these obstacles. “By the County withholding subpoena items, their unwillingness to answer questions as is normal between auditor and auditee, and in some cases actively interfering with audit research, the County prevented a complete audit,” the summary explains. “This did not stop the primary goal of offering recommendations for legislative reform to the Arizona Senate, but it did leave many questions open as to the way and manner that the 2020 General Election was conducted. As a result, while many areas of concern were specifically identified, our full audit results validating the 2020 General Election are necessarily inconclusive.”

While the media is claiming that the audit report confirms Biden’s victory, it does not. “There are sufficient discrepancies among the different systems that, in conjunction with some of our findings, suggest that the delta between the Presidential candidates is very close to the potential margin‐of‐error for the election,” the audit summary explains.

Why do these matter? Because, according to the state-certified results, Joe Biden barely won the state by a 10,457-vote margin. The tiny margin of victory in the state-certified results means that these discrepancies are very troubling. There were 42,727 impacted ballots ranked as “high” or “critical” severity—that’s four times the certified margin of victory. If you include “medium” severity discrepancies, there were 53,214 impacted ballots—more than five times the certified margin of victory. Overall, there were 57,734 impacted ballots.

These findings don’t prove fraud, but certainly demonstrate the potential for fraud. And these impacted ballots have not been vetted.

So, has Joe Biden’s victory been proven? Not in the least. The truth is, we’ll never know the truth about how many ballots were impacted. Of course, the mainstream media knows this, which is why, deep down in CNN’s report about the audit, it laments that the draft report “shows that Cyber Ninjas and their subcontractors are still seeking ways to cast doubt on the election,” pointing to the thousands of ballots flagged.

The bottom line: The number of ballots impacted by discrepancies far exceeds Biden’s margin of victory in the state. Both sides of this debate will claim the report validates their position, but in truth, without proper vetting of the impacted ballots, we’ll never know if the election results were legitimate.

The boldfaced bit is the main takeaway from the whole circle-jerk: WE WILL INDEED NEVER KNOW—KNOW FOR ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY CERTAIN, BEYOND ANY DOUBT—WHETHER THE ELECTION WAS STOLEN. Which is NOT the same thing, mind, as saying that we don’t already know well enough.

Election fraud is generally acknowledged to be an extremely difficult thing to prove conclusively; with an electorate as large as ours, as well as a specific power-mad party long accustomed to swindling its way to “victory” without consequence, it becomes almost a practical impossibility. There are myriad ways of stealing paper-ballot elections, which provide the most reliable results. Throw electronic voting machines into the mix and you almost guarantee widespread fraud. Mail-in ballots, with (ahem) flexible deadlines for submission? Stop it, you’re killing me over here.

Further eroding the already-thin hope of establishing the 2020 theft to the courtroom “beyond REASONABLE doubt” standard are some simple facts, among them: the voting machines have long since been reset and/or otherwise tampered with; questionable ballots have been disposed of and/or destroyed; security cam documentation of at-best suspicious activity in swing-state counting rooms has been erased, and more yet, including but not limited to:

…Arizona Senate Audit: Dominion Machines Contained Non-Maricopa County Data — From South Carolina and Washington State

…ARIZONA AUDIT: 9,589 EXCESS Mail-in Ballot Envelopes Counted by Maricopa County, BLANKS Verified and Approved

…Huge Crowds, Armed Militia Surround Arizona Capitol Amid Election Audit Results

All this dubious activity, remember, from an audit in just one county, in one just one state.

In short, what we have here is typically referred to in criminal-justice circles as “a preponderance of evidence” strongly suggesting systemic jiggery-pokery, a preponderance which in turn strongly suggests its occurance in several states, if not all of ’em. It all makes the MFM’s transparent and predictable stab at nudging public opinion towards bland acceptance of the “Biden won!” lie is risible.

And none of it matters, not in the least. Here’s what does: THEY’RE LIARS. We KNOW they’re liars. That’s as solid a fact as facts come, no more worth discussing further than the proposition that, say, water is wet. That sticking your hand into the heart of a roaring fire is a VERY bad idea. That no matter how furiously you flap your arms, you are not going to fly yourself to a gentle landing after jumping off a cliff. The NYT, CNN, MSDNC, Uniparty politicians, Deep State bureauticks, ALL of them—LIARS. They have confirmed it again and again and again, not just in the context of fraudulent “elections,” but on EVERY issue.

So why in the ever-lovin’ blue-eyed world would any of us believe them NOW? Or, really, EVER AGAIN? About anything at all?

I urge you, one and all: don’t. Just don’t do it. Ignore them instead; pay not a moment’s heed to a word out of their lying mouths. Above all, do NOT allow them the slightest influence over your opinions, your beliefs, or your actions.

Yes, the 2020 “election” was stolen. Yes, American “elections” in general are in no way free, fair, or honest; they haven’t been in years, if they ever were. Yes, participating in them is pure futility, utterly pointless. Yes, the whole system is rotten to the core, to the point that it can never be fixed or restored via traditional, peaceful means. AS ZMan put it, a system that is immune to voting is not going to be fixed by more voting.

The classic, cynical old slogan that holds “If voting could change anything, it would be illegal” has never been more factual or relevant than it is today. It also applies to audits. Biden will be stumbling, bumbling, and mumbling around the White House—just as the overarching charade will continue to grind on—for exactly as long as we put up with it…and not a minute longer.

“Peaceful protest has failed”

It had to be tried—it was right and JUST that it be tried, which is a Good Thing and not a Bad Thing—just as all the other preliminary steps did. Even though some of us fully expected each step to fail in its turn, they were by no means a waste of time and effort. As I’ve insisted all along: this is a process, not an event. Although in the early stages bloodshed and combat may arguably have been avoidable, in my view they are now inevitable; once the process has progressed beyond a certain point, it can no longer be stopped—by anyone on either side of it.

So now, we move on to the next step.

Peaceful protests have just about run their course. On Monday a few hundred construction workers turned on their Union bosses for selling them out to big Pharma. Today the mob may turn on police, media or the Government.

So far the lying press have made a big meal whenever a policeman has been bruised when accidentally knocked over by people trying to avoid being pepper sprayed, trampled on by a horse or avoiding being shot with rubber bullets. On Saturday a few police were bruised all at the same time as the crowd broke through their lines. Yet it was only the police themselves who took the time to deliberately hurt people when they were already on the ground. None of the mob actively attacked the police.

The anger and violence on display against the CFMEU shows us that the peaceful protestors are about to be replaced by the angry mob.

I can guarantee you that no one who has been to any of the freedom rallies over the last year, would have been at the CFMEU headquarters throwing bottles and smashing windows. These are the people who played by the rules, didn’t care what was going on politically, as long as they could get by. These were physical men, happy to do physical work and not concern themselves with the world as long as they were free to provide for their families without interference.

But betray this kind of man, don’t expect him to write to the newspaper, bitch on social media or call a lawyer. When his blood is up, nothing will cool it down again until his rage has run its course.

These are the men who will be coming to protests from now on. If these men see a couple of pigs throw an old lady to the ground and then follow up and pepper spray her, don’t expect them to just pull out their phones and call them names. Expect blood.

While I fully share the author’s horror and dread of what is surely to come, I must also say this: Shouldn’t there be blood? What can be the moral argument for turning the other cheek yet again, when the authorities are guilty of committing the atrocities—NOT an overstatement, NOT hyperbole—he cites above, the ones I railed about myself a few nights ago? Is there really no point at which meeting violence with violence is to be deemed appropriate?

The days of people like me giving nice uplifting speeches to nice peaceful people is over. Nice people never change anything. I have failed. We have failed. History must repeat as history inevitably always does.

I do not want violence, I do not encourage it, I will not incite it. I will not initiate it. I simply know from history, that I cannot stop it. It is almost upon us. Be prepared.

I should mention the other incidents Stephen mentions above, I think.

Melbourne Australia Police and Riot Squads Fire Upon Peaceful Protestors While Media Frame COVID Anti-Lockdown Protests as Domestic Extremists
On day three of the Melbourne labor union protests against the brutal COVID lock-downs and forced mRNA genetic experiments, the Victorian government decided to open fire upon the peaceful protestors. The police triggered a ‘no-fly zone’ in the Melbourne metropolitan area to stop media from using their helicopters to record the protests and violent police activity.

While the official motive given by police for the media ban was to block protestors from knowing where the thousands of police were amassing; the background issue of the government wanting to keep the Australian people from seeing police open fire upon their own citizens is transparently obvious. Americans would be wise to pay attention to all facets of how the Australian government is moving violently against their own citizens.

As we have seen in the U.S, there is an alarming alignment between the operatives of the Australian government and the media stenographers who willingly push a “violent extremist” narrative in order to downplay the brutal police tactics being deployed against ordinary working class Victorians. As you watch the first video below, it is well worth remembering these are the same Melbourne police units who took a knee during last years Black Lives Matter protests in Melbourne.

Thousands of heavily outfitted and well-armed jackboots -with armor plated MRAP vehicles in support- confronted the protest groups throughout the Melbourne metro area. The police deployments forced the groups to assemble at Melbourne’s Shrine of Remembrance where a stand-off took place between the protestors and thousands of police units surrounding them. Once they had the protestors surrounded, the police began tightening the perimeter, until they eventually opened fire with tear gas and rubber bullets.

The riot units were essentially shooting trapped fish in a barrel, while secondary units moved in from the perimeter to arrest those targeted. It is ironic this video was filmed at Victoria’s national memorial honoring the service and sacrifice of Australians in war and peacekeeping.

As you can see from the video on the scene, the protesting group was non violent. The police jackboot tactics however, were extremely confrontational…and all of this is under the premise of “protecting public health and safety.” Think about it…

The situation in Australia has surpassed the merely abominable, and has become well and truly unendurable. But Americans are in no position to indulge in any smugness or condescension over the Aussie plight. Being well along the path to tyranny and total subjugation ourselves, the distinction between us is one not of kind but of degree, and a woefully small degree at that. Sad to say, Oz’s troubles aren’t a warning to us, not anymore. They’re a preview.

Your terms are acceptable

Right back atcha, Slick.

Soros-Funded Group Sends Letter to FCC Calling for Murder of Republicans
The group in question is Free Press, which is funded by Soros’s Open Society Foundation, as well as the Center for American Progress, the Tides Foundation, and other far-left organizations. Free Press, whose stated goal is to “reshape media” in the United States, submitted a letter signed by almost 5,000 of its members baselessly accusing the FCC of systemic racism.

Free Press’s letter called for the FCC to “investigate its own history of racism and examine how its policy choices and actions have harmed black people and other communities of color.” But at one point in the letter, the following question was asked: “Are we going to have to shoot Republicans to reclaim our democracy?”

The violent threat was made by a California member named David Lyons, who went on to make even more inflammatory statements as well as false claims, asserting without proof that “racist horsesh** like FOX and the other ultraconservative outlets and Christians” currently own “most of our media.”

Do NOT make the mistake of blithely dismissing these people as if they’re not serious about this, or kidding yourself that they’re merely cowardly, mincing shitlibs who will never, ever muster the stones to make good on their threats. Better by far that Team Liberty immediately begins assembling some targeting lists of their own, prominently featuring the names of each and every one of these vile enemies of freedom at or near the top—right under “Soros,” all his kith and kin, and all who work for and/or with the evil bastard.

Deadly serious

As hard as it is to stop laughing and wrap your head around such an impossibly absurd idea, they really are.

PROJECT VERITAS BOMBSHELL PART 2: FDA Official ‘Blow Dart African Americans’ & Wants ‘Nazi Germany Registry’ for Unvaccinated
This might be one of the most insane videos you will ever watch, and its’ literally a holy hell factor America. In this latest video, an FDA Official is heard saying the unthinkable.

FDA Official: ‘Blow Dart’ African Americans with COVID Vaccine is ‘Where We’re Going…Just Shoot Everyone’ … Calls for a ‘Nazi Germany’ Style ‘Registry’ of Unvaccinated Americans: ‘Think About It Like The Jewish Star’

  • Taylor Lee, FDA Economist: “Go to the unvaccinated and blow it [COVID vaccine] into them. Blow dart it into them.”
  • Lee: “Census goes door-to-door if you don’t respond. So, we have the infrastructure to do it [forced COVID vaccinations]. I mean, it’ll cost a ton of money.
  • But I think, at that point, I think there needs to be a registry of people who aren’t vaccinated. Although that’s sounding very [much like Nazi] Germany.”
  • Lee: “Nazi Germany…I mean, think about it like the Jewish Star [for unvaccinated Americans].”
  • Lee: “I’m gonna go door-to-door and stab everyone [with the COVID vaccine], ‘Oh, it’s just your booster shot! There you go!’”
  • Lee: “So, if you put every anti-vaxxer, like sheep, into like Texas and you closed off Texas from the rest of the world, and you go, ‘Okay, you be you in Texas until we deal with this [pandemic].’”

Hmmm. Let’s just mull that last proposition over a little, shall we?

  • Relocate Team Liberty en bloc to the Republic of Texas
  • Thereby cancelling out the undesirable effects of the recent influx of Califruitopia shitlib locusts
  • Thereby in effect creating a heat-and-eat breakaway state chockablock with hordes of heavily-armed Citizen Soldiers ready, willing, and eminently able to defy and—should FederalGovCo be so foolish as to force the issue—forcibly implement the Second Amendment Solution in the manner and for the purpose specifically laid out by the Founders
  • Thereby providing several other like-minded Southern states de facto encouragement to join the nascent regional revolt themselves
  • Thereby increasing the likelihood of success for the rebels both short- and long-term

Sounds like a br’ar patch I’d not mind in the least being thrown into, Br’er Fox.

Time has come today

Would you rather be a part of the solution…or a part of the problem?

Decide.

Dood say: “Why are doin’ this, mate?”

Cop say: “I’m just as tired of this bullshit lockdown as you are.” Say, “Actually I agree with you guys.” Okay, fine then; all well and good, eh?

EXCEPT. Then he says, I’m doing this because THIS IS WHAT I GET PAID TO DO.

And then his interlocutor cuts to the chase, like a fucking KNIFE: “If you agree with us, then you should drop your gear and step over to our side of the street!” Which, of course, Cop don’t do. WON’T do. Perhaps, CAN’T do. For all sorts of reasons that seemed perfectly good the day before yesterday, but today just don’t quite cut it, and day after tomorrow will look and feel like the lame justifications and evasions they in fact have been all along.

This is it, folks. There is now a line—clear as crystal, unmistakable, indelible. You are either on one side of it—the Liberty And Justice For All side—or you are on the other.

And that’s it. That is absolutely, positively IT. Full stop, end of story. After many, many years of blurring all the lines intentionally; of obscuring the issues; of Fifty Shades Of Grey Man, bloodless and soulless and nondescript, we have come fully back ’round again to pure, no-bullshit, easy to read black and white. Good Vs Evil, Right Vs Wrong, with no comfy middle ground between ’em for wishy-washy waverer-types to quaver on.

So here we all are. No, we don’t like it. We all hoped never to be brought to this awful place; we tried our damnedest to avoid it, to kid ourselves that it could never happen here. As it slowly, gradually became more apparent that the conflict was real and could be forestalled only so long, we told ourselves it was still many years off yet. As the sand went right on sifting down to the bottom section of Destiny’s Own Hourglass, we told yourselves “not in my lifetime, at least.”

Well, hate to tell ya and all. Really I do. But guess what.

DECIDE.

Voice from the ever-present past

The Tactical Hermit, the latest addition to Ye Olde CF Blogrolle, says “The Ghost of Stonewall Jackson is Calling…

Stonewall was right then, as he almost always was, and he’s right now too.

A different view—VERY different

All is not lost. Not yet, it ain’t.

I want you to look at every bit of adversity around you and say something to yourself. I want you to say that this is a time intended to make you stronger. This is a time intended to toughen you. This is a time intended to grow and learn and to hone your weapons and skills, to temper your blades, to train yourself as a truly formidable warrior. This is a time happening for you. Life is happening for you. This moment, “the present,” is a gift for you.

Listen to me. I do not care what all these know-it-alls say. This is not the last stand. This is not the last opportunity. But if we do not win at this juncture, things are sure to get so much worse.

We need to beat back these mandates. We need to set these tyrants in order. We need to be on our knees asking the Almighty for wisdom and understanding. We need to be fighting the most meaningful fights around us, every single day, likely fights that are very local to us and very small in number, fights that may be so local and personal that they seem to affect no one but us. Once you win a few of those fights, you often start to see how much impact the thing you called “little” or “selfish” really had as it rippled out, far beyond anything you might ever have imagined possible. Those most important ripples, though, are in your own life when you fight such battles.

Today we stand at a pivotal moment in history. You can bemoan the situation or embrace it. If you be a lion, I need you to embrace it, to engage with unceasing focus in the most freedom-generating, immediately effective behaviors you can be engaged in.

The real advantage is had by many, many small, disparate, relatively disconnected groups of people, and many, many more individuals, each doing their own thing, living life as freely as possible, fighting tyrants in their own lives, and spreading freedom in their own spheres of influence. I agree, it is disorganized and frustrating for those used to a corporate org chart, to those used to following top-down orders, there are poor economies of scale and accordingly a massive amount of resources “wasted,” but in exchange there is spontaneous order, there is entrepreneurial ingenuity, there is constant A/B testing, there is massive competition for those with the best approaches, and there is nearly unlimited redundancy.

Do you know what that means?

Thatmeans the enemy can’t chop the head off the “beast” of freedom. There is no head. There is no mass movement. There are thousands and maybe millions in each state increasingly living life that way. That is the change that matters — the change that happens in individual lives. I will trade that for a mass movement any day, in fact, it is what I have been working on for 18 months — avoiding the mass movement and rousing the individual lions. How fulfilling it is. And how well it works.

People bemoan why millions are not taking to the streets in America, like they are in France or Germany. Some even claim that to be a sign that there is “no resistance” in America. They fundamentally misunderstand America. When the average foot soldiers and loyalists of the political left become disenfranchised with the medical tyranny taking place, there will be mass demonstrations like that. That is a collectivist response. But that is not at the core of America.

At the core of America is small business, small church, family, small, direct, impactful charity, entrepreneurship, local community, boot straps, small farm, maybe even just a few plants in the backyard, niche methods of news distribution like the one you are reading now, cottage industry, local relationships. Every man is intended to be his own man. The Maker will one day look him in the eye and say “Why should I let you into my heaven?” and at that moment there won’t be an army of people around him to back him up. It will just be him and God. That idea is not lost in America. This is not collectivist; it is the very opposite, and it is the backbone of America.

Many things have come at you this past year. For some, it has been more adversity than they have ever known, such evil brought against their household unlike anything they’d ever imagined, a greater attack on their values than they have ever seen. You can handle this. And once you do, you can handle more. This is a very special time to be alive, and our daily lives are preparation for even more.

Those who have never worn a mask are unfazed by anything happening. They have been in training already 18 months and have grown into such formidable warriors. Every conversation they need to have about health mandates was perfected in their technique more than a year ago as they stumbled through face mask conversation after face mask conversation, finally developing the right rhythm and techniques that work best for them. In sharp contrast, those who wore a mask obediently, but drew a line at the Covid shot, are just putting on the training wheels and all at once they are really freaking out about the mandates that have been in the works publicly for at least 18 months. They were not ready, but the good news is that the lions among them will persevere and be ready for far worse.

If you can embrace these moments for the opportunities they are — opportunities to rise to the occasion — then you will find yourself doing exactly that. It is a game, and we are winning. It is a game, and I see all around me, the most amazing warriors prepping for battle, a mass of lions like I never knew existed on the earth.

And how could I? Nearly all of them were asleep until the Ides of March 2020. The enemy has no idea what he is up against.

About as uplifting and heartening a piece as I can ever remembering seeing, and there’s plenty I left out. He ain’t wrong, either, although it’s so easy to get trapped in the usual media cycle of doom, gloom, and despair that it’s damned near impossible sometimes to see through the fog generated by it. Team Liberty faces an extremely grim situation, no doubt about it, far worse a one than any I’ve ever seen. That said, there are nevertheless still reasons for optimism, for hope—GOOD reasons, valid ones.

Our enemies WANT us in despair, WANT us to succumb to the insidious defeatism they’ve spent all these years cultivating in us. Don’t give in to their evil manipulations; don’t give them the final victory they so desperately crave. Resolve to resist them, to defy them, to fight them—yes, even to kill as many of them as you can when the time comes. Which, we all know it’s going to, and that right soon too.

We must harden our hearts. We must admit the ugly truths; confront the harsh realities; face the unpleasant facts—fearlessly, and with eyes wide open. We must resolve that we will not stint, abstain, or shy from doing everything necessary to get their boots off our necks. We must never yield. We must show our Enemy—in a fashion that allows for neither misunderstanding nor mistake—that the flame of Liberty will forever burn in our hearts, and that he can never hope to extinguish no matter how he tries. That we will never concede defeat.

That he will regret, to the very deepest depths of whatever shriveled, blackened parody of a human soul he may possess, ever having thought it a good idea to fuck with us.

Do I even need to tell you to read the whole thing?

Punch. Back. TWICE. As. Hard

Okay, just gonna come right out and make it official: this woman is my new hero.

Nicki Minaj Posts Phone Numbers of Reporters Harassing Her Family in Trinidad

Oh my God. I think I just came in my pants a little.

Singer Nicki Minaj is mad. She’s so mad she’s posting phone numbers and screen captures of conversations with reporters trying to get the scoop on her family members in Trinidad. Some of her millions of fans have taken it on themselves to harass the reporters as a result.

It all started earlier in the week when Minaj expressed her hesitancy over the Covid-19 injections. She told a story about a friend of her cousin in Trinidad who had a very bad experience following his jabs

Read the rest of it; it’s absolutely scrumptious. If this wonderful story doesn’t give you the warm fuzzies, I just don’t know what would. It’s about goddamned time SOMEBODY started throwing their bullshit right back in their pinched, sallow faces. I want to see much, much more of this sort of thing, and I mean NOW. Doxxing; torchlight protest marches right up to the very doorsteps of their private homes; all and every flavor of monkeywrenching, sabotage, and interference; public shaming and mockery; these and other stratagems must ALL be on the table for us as well as them, civility and forebearance be damned.

Our squeamishness about adopting the Enemy’s methods to be turned against him—the pious attitude that we are somehow too upright, too moral, too good to embrace the “dirty pool” tactics that have proved so very effective against us—simply must END. The long insistence on “taking the high road” has been our undoing. Time to try something else, something that might actually work. If we can’t overcome the blind Fauntleroyism which holds that prissy, effete high-mindedness is weapon enough to allow us to triumph in the gutter knife-fight the Left has been fighting all along, we are surely lost.

If you don’t believe that there can never be ANY measure too harsh, too distasteful or “unfair,” to be used in the eternal struggle to preserve liberty, then you’ve already been defeated, and your doom is sealed. When Goldwater famously proclaimed that “Moderation in defense of liberty is no virtue; extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice,” the Left’s reaction was frenzied, almost rabid—NOT because he was wrong, but because he was RIGHT. The frothing mania of Leftist condemnation reflects their abject terror that Goldwater’s flat, reasonable, and perfectly correct statement—a statement that Americans of the Founding era would have regarded not as the wild-eyed ravings of a madman, but as no more than obvious, and quite unremarkable—might resonate deeply with Normals in numbers too great for them to overcome.

Fightin’ words

Brandon Smith comes right out with it.

A war is coming. I have heard it argued that this war must be avoided; that it is “exactly what the establishment wants.” I disagree. I think globalists like those at the World Economic Forum certainly want enough chaos to provide cover for the implementation of their global “Reset” agenda, but they don’t want a full blown rebellion. They only want events in which the outcome is controllable or predictable – They do not want a massive organized resistance that might surprise them.

Ultimately it doesn’t matter because the war is already at our doorstep. A person has two choices: Fight or be enslaved. There is no third option. There is no walking away. There is no hiding from it and there is no passive solution to it.

Joe Biden’s recent declaration of a federal level nationwide vaccine mandate has all but ensured that conflict is inevitable. Why?  Because it is the first major step towards a two-tier society in which the unvaxxed are cut out of the economy. The next step? Forced vaccinations under threat of fines and imprisonment, the threat of confiscation of one’s children, or vaccination at the barrel of a gun. Needless to say, this was not at all surprising to me. In December of last year I published an article titled ‘If You Thought 2020 Was Bad, Watch What Happens In 2021’, stating that:

“There will then be a major push to require medical passports proving a person is not infected to enter into any public place. This means submission to 24/7 contact tracing or getting a new vaccine whenever ordered to. Basically, your life will be under the total control of state or federal governments if you want to have any semblance of returning to your normal life…..New mutations of COVID-19 will be conveniently found every year from now on, meaning the public will have to get new vaccinations constantly, and medical tyranny will never go away unless people take an aggressive stand.”

I have also mentioned often in the past that Biden WOULD institute federal level vaccines mandates and possibly even Level 4 lockdowns. We are not to the point yet of lockdowns by executive order, but the Biden Administration is trying to dive headlong into the control agenda with an executive order stating that all businesses in the US with 100 employees or more must require those employees to provide proof of vaccination or demand employees show a negative covid test weekly (which will be impossible for most people). In other words, the Orwellian rise of vaccine passports has officially begun in the US.

Not only was Biden’s announcement an utter violation of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, it was also condescending and vitriolic towards Americans who refuse to become guinea pigs for the experimental and untested vaccines. Biden suggested that the establishment “Has been patient, but their patience is wearing thin.”

I have to say, Biden is in for a shock if he thinks we care.

The biggest question is – Why should anyone submit to covid mandates at all? Mandates are not laws, they are color of law restrictions without legal merit. The bottom line? Unconstitutional orders are not to be followed. This leads us to the state and local strategies for fighting back against the federal passport mandates. Let’s get into it:

Follows, a list of suggested tacks to take, some of them a bit obvious, some having been put forth in several places already. Those I won’t go into now, other than to say that I have no real problem with any of ’em. These next, though, I particularly like, the last one most of all:

Confiscate Federal Lands And Resources
Any state that is cut off from its rightful share of tax dollars can easily claim domain over federal lands and the resources on them. It is the EPA restrictions on these lands that have been unfairly used to kill numerous industries across the country. With proper management, these resources can be used to revitalize state economies and offset any federal funds lost.

Offer Businesses Federal Tax Exemptions If They Relocate
Red states can also punish the federal government by stopping IRS tax collections within their borders and turning the tables on Biden. Numerous businesses would be itching to escape Biden’s high tax rates and would bring jobs and wealth into red states, leaving the conformist blue states in the dust.

Boot Federal Agencies Out Of The State Or County
Local law enforcement is refusing to enforce mandates in many places, which is a good start, but eventually sheriffs and communities may have to remove federal presence entirely in order to stop violations if civil liberties.

Offer Safe Havens For Military Personnel That Go AWOL To Avoid Forced Vaccination
A large percentage of soldiers say they will not comply with federal vax requirements and this is completely understandable given the evidence I just presented above. It would be to the benefit of red states to offer protection for soldiers that leave the military based on the principle of health autonomy. Perhaps they could even help in forming state militias…

Heh. That’s the spirit—undermine the tyrant even as he’s trying8 to undermine you. Better still, Brandon’s finale waxes downright obstreperous.

Unify For Defense
If Biden and the globalists continue to push for medical tyranny in states and counties that do not want it, there will eventually be calls for secession. There will also be attempts by blue states to restrict the travel of people from red states using covid passport checkpoints. We all know this is coming. All conservative counties should be organizing localized security through public militias, and state governments should be thinking along these lines as well. If there’s one thing authoritarians HATE more than anything else it is suffering the existence of free neighbors. They will try to stop us from being free, and we must be ready to answer their violence with our own.

Finally, I would like to speak to Joe Biden directly, since Joe was so keen on personally addressing us:

Joe, let me clarify this in the simplest terms possible so that you can grasp it – You are not important. You are not a lawmaker and you are not a ruler, you are an employee of the American people, that is all your are supposed to be. And though you may wish to be a dictator, that’s not going to happen. We will not allow it. I realize that you are a puppet and that your globalist handlers make most of your decisions and write most of your statements for you, so you can pass this message on to them as well: WE WILL NOT COMPLY. It’s not going to happen. Get used to the idea.

We are peaceful people and always have been. Our tolerance of your trespasses thus far is proof of that. But do not mistake our peacefulness as weakness. If you keep coming after us, you will regret it. We will teach you an important lesson in humility; a lesson you and your elitist friends sorely need and will not enjoy. This is a promise.

PREACH it, brother. As for Biden, his puppeteers, and every other would-be despot: Keep pushing and find out, you scum-sucking sonsabitches.

The animating contest of freedom

Peace at any price is no kind of bargain.

If the 9/11 terrorists were alive today to look at the changes they wrought in America with that one act, on that one day, how could they be anything but delighted? If the goal was just to kill Americans, they were successful. If the goal was to warp and distort the fabric of American life, they were successful beyond their wildest dreams. They succeeded in that because we decided that safety was more important than anything else.

If our founders had valued safety over freedom we’d still be British. And I suspect an increasing number of academics, intellectual elites, and government bureaucrats wouldn’t see the harm in that—one country, they think, is very much like another. Life in Canada isn’t so different from life here, etc., etc.

And that brings us to the coronavirus. This disease is not, as some thoughtless people have claimed, our generation’s “World War II”: For one thing, you can’t have a war without fighting back. It is rather another 9/11—a successful attack on the American way of life. The attack comes from China this time. But the results are similar:

Joe Biden said on September 9, just two days before the 20th anniversary of September 11, that he would force everyone to get the vaccine, and seek to punish those who do not: “This is not about freedom or personal choice. It’s about protecting yourself and those around you.” That sentence, among the most disgusting ever spoken by an American president, is music to the ears of the Chinese Communist Party. It’s music to the ears of the Taliban. It’s music to the ears of every America-hating bastard everywhere, including those who were born and live here and who are teaching our children in school to hate America.

A few months ago, you were a conspiracy theorist for suggesting that vaccine passports would even be considered. Today, you’re a conspiracy theorist for suggesting there might be something wrong with the idea.

Joe Biden’s America is America in name only, just as he himself is president in name only. You see people driving around alone in their cars wearing masks on their faces—so terrified of getting sick that they have become sickness itself. They wouldn’t have been willing to fight World War II. They’re peace-at-any-pricers: the people who would have been willing to accept a Nazified Europe in exchange for Hitler’s agreement to let Britain continue existing. (There were plenty of those people in Britain at the time; thank God they were not in charge.)

So I’m not going to get the vaccine. I’m not going to wear a mask, anywhere. If someone asks me whether I’ve been vaccinated, I’ll tell him the truth: That it’s none of his business.

If you prefer safety to freedom, that’s your choice: It’s a free country. You can even tell me “screw your freedom,” as a once-popular actor recently said. But I reserve the right to make my own choices too, and I’m for freedom. Freedom at any price. That is the essence of America.

Myself, I’m just happy to finally run across a column that acknowledges the plain fact that, just as American liberty could never have been secured without violence, it likewise cannot be maintained should any generation of the Founders’ posterity foreswear the use of violence in its defense. Calls for “freedom at any price” can only sound flat and flaccid when accompanied by such timorous, historically-illiterate backpedaling. Threats of “war” unsupported by any credible likelihood of follow-through harsher than rhetoric, lawsuits, and “voting” are no real threat at all, just empty bluster and bluff. And, as any poker player can tell you, bluffs will, sooner or later, get called.

Another LTC decides that honoring his oath outweighs sullying his personal integrity by staying in long enough to collect his pension.

Army Officer LTC Paul Hague Resigns in Protest – ‘Marxist Takeover of the US Military’
Army officer LTC Paul Hague has turned in his resignation after 18-19 years of active duty service. Though part of it had to do with the mandatory vaccines, it was also due to what he described as the ”Marxist takeover” of the US Military. He is the 2nd officer to walk away from retirement, i.e. USMC Lt Col Scheller, who was removed from his position and may be court martialed for his views. LTC Hague left voluntarily.

This comes as the Democrat chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Bob Menendez threatened to subpoena SecDef Austin for refusing to testify on the disastrous Afghanistan pullout. Gen Milley has been using every tactic he can to place blame for the debacle on others. Both of them have pushed forward talking points that are a death knell to war fighting and military cohesion.

First, and foremost, I am incapable of subjecting myself to the unlawful, unethical, immoral and tyrannical order to sit still and allow a serum to be injected into my flesh against my will and better judgment. It is impossible for this so-called ‘vaccine’ to have been studied adequately to determine the long-term effects…

I would like nothing more than to continue in the Army to reach my 20 years of active federal service and retire with my pension. However, I instead will join those who have served before me in pledging my Life, my Fortune, and my Sacred Honor to continue resisting the eternal and ever-mutable forms of oppression and tyranny – both from enemies outside our nation‘s borders, and those within.

These words are a strongly worded statement against the US Military under the Biden administration. LTC Paul Hague’s wife told reporters that her husband drafted the letter on August 23, but after revising it several times, did not submit it until August 30 and failed to change the date. He was focused on the use of the Covid vaccine as a political tool when she was asked about all the normal vaccines required for the military.

It is not easy for any officer to walk away from a 20 year retirement. That his wife is supportive is a huge plus to taking a stand against what has been happening in the military.

”We may be personally defeated, but our principles, never.” William Lloyd Garrison 1805-1879

LTC Hague’s statement can, and definitely should, be read in full at the link. A respectful doffing of the CF Chapeau to the good Colonel who, like his Marine colleague LTC Stuart Scheller, has not only taken a morally-righteous stand based on his beliefs and values, but has also bravely put himself at considerable risk of Deep State retaliation in the doing.

May God forever bless and protect you and yours, sir. Let the fine example you’ve set of what real patriotism, honor, and selflessness look like serve as inspiration to your fellow soldiers, and to every true American as well.

Update! NC Scout puts it bluntly.

On 19 June 1953, Julius and Ethel Rosenburg met their deserved fate.

Having been convicted of giving the Soviets critical information on the US’ technological developments in the decade just past the conclusion of WWII, they were very correctly blamed for the technological parity the Soviets quickly gained costing American lives in the wars that would follow.

We didn’t kill enough of them.

The Left has reveled in certain claims over the years, always running contrary to the interests of this once-great nation in every attempt at stymieing its progress whilst rotting away its very core. Very cleverly they understood that the 1950s era represented the pinnacle of capitalist achievement, juxtaposed to the rampant poverty of a broken post-war USSR. There were jobs, a roaring economy, great advancements in technology, and a properly run education that – gasp – met standards and produced giants.

The Rosenburgs acted against a nation and people they hated. Why else could one betray his nation, very knowingly culpable for the killing of his own countrymen? And yet, the Rosenburgs knew not directly the staggering cost of war. When it was discovered by the War Department that Rosenburg, an engineer for the Army’s Signal Corps, was a member for the Communist Party, he was fired, but he didn’t stop there. For the communist, Revolution is duty.

While the Soviets were adept at spy recruitment in that era, after all, many in the US infrastructure had well known communist leanings prior to WWII, they understood well that the source of a nation’s pride is its ability to levy war. Until the US military could be broken, there would be no hope of communist revolution in the United States. Having a Flag Officer handing secrets, or even so much as consorting with an enemy nation, would be unthinkable. The solution then is communist revolution within the ranks.

This leads us to the case of General Mark Milley, Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, declared Maoist under oath, academic adherent of communist revolution, and now the subject of accusations of contacting his Chinese Communist People’s Liberation Army counterpart ahead of a possible President Donald Trump asserting his Constitutional duty to the nation and declaring a fraudulent election what it in fact was.

A very easy case can be made here condemning this man to death. Nothing further should need stating; collusion with the Chinese People’s Liberation Army is rather blatant should these allegations be factual. That said, the book, by longtime leftist journalist Bob Woodward, should be taken as valid on its face by the very hubris that the Left continues to exhibit. Why should they hide? Who will prosecute them? By their own actions they have exposed themselves as thus. Milley deserves a firing squad.

But we should not stop there.

Damned skippy. Indeed, if we hope to excise the Leftist tumor from the body politic in any effective fashion, we MUST not stop there. Executing Thoroughly Modern Millicent for treason, while satisfying, would barely even amount to a good start on that daunting but vital project.

Wargaming

Of all the speculative discussions I’ve seen on the ways CW 2.0 might play out should the temp knob ever actually be dialed up from the current Med-Hi setting on up to full-on Rolling Boil, these feel to me like the most realistic, plausible, and probable of them so far. Scenario One:

You’re a battalion commander in 2ID. For nine months you’ve been tasked with keeping I85 open between Portland and Boise. It’s a ridiculous area for one battalion, but every maneuver unit in the military is tasked.

There is no rotation out on the horizon. Your companies are strung out in platoon COPs across 500 miles of mostly remote highway.

Most of your HHC is in ad hoc platoons covering sectors as well.

The supply line is absolutely vital to keep the rest of your brigade sustained as it tries to secure Idaho.

Just as important is keeping it open westbound, to supply Portland, Seattle, and the areas in between. The insurgency played hell with the supply chain.  FEMA is rationing food and necessities in urban areas, and every load is needed.

Early on you mostly dealt with occasional harrassment and clearing logs from the roadway. Turns out one guy with a chainsaw can snarl traffic through Umatilla National Forest for hours. Tracking them on logging roads and ATV trails is a nightmare.

You quickly learned that if you sent out road crews without escort, they would take harassing fire immediately. After one crew had their equipment torched and was forced to walk back in underwear, they refuse to work without a security element.

The problem is that when security is with the road crews, the insurgents just flex a few miles away and either create another roadblock, or sometimes hijack and burn a few loads stuck in the traffic. They especially seem to love hitting your fuelers. You’ve tried sending up UAVs to catch them at it, but they seem to have uncanny awareness of when you’re setting a trap and rarely bite. Those few you do roll up are sent north to the massive camp near Moses Lake. What you really need are SOF assets hunting the enemy while your forces hold key terrain.

Unfortunately, those assets are stretched thin and hard to come by.

It doesn’t help that the army lost 35% of long tabs in the Vax Purge of ’21. It also doesn’t help that half of 1st group is considered “politically unreliable” and is kept on Rear D at JBLM. Rumor is at least a dozen of those guys have up and vanished with their families, but solid info is kept close. You just know getting SOF assets in your AO is dicey.

SOF aren’t the only ones with personnel issues. You left 28 natives of Oregon and Idaho on rear D, to avoid any conflicts. Just last month CID rolled up an E4 who was passing convoy manifests and schedules to an old battle buddy in Lakewood, who was passing it to the insurgents.

Now your entire rear D is in segregated barracks and closely watched, and you’ve had to confiscate phones across the battalion. Your soldiers get one monitored call per week to their families. You’ve already signed 7 NJPs for guys who got caught with burners. The best intel you get, at least at first, was from social media companies providing data based on algorithms that identified insurgent activity.

The first round of mass arrests got hundreds. That dried up quickly, as they stopped using the platforms. It also scooped up hundreds of people based on social media history who are being held without charges, and are a constant PR nightmare. You have family members at your CP every day demanding due process, though you have nothing to do with detainee ops.

The biggest headache in your life, though, is the “volunteers”. When the proud boys tried to make a stand in Vancouver, and were immediately crushed, hundreds of “antifascists” showed up to “help”. You’ve been ordered to treat them as partner forces, but they’re worse than ANA. Half of them wheeze when they climb out of their subarus, and the other half can’t hold high ready for more than 10 seconds. They don’t follow orders, and after a few complaints about looting and some proud boy families going missing, the gloves came off locally. They still won’t engage your forces directly, but any “volunteers” who leave the wire on their own are likely to be found nailed to a tree. Of course local property crime and rape seems to correlate directly to their presence. They don’t want to fight, but they’ll harass civvies.

You get your morning brief and find that some of Idaho NGs missing Stingers surfaced last night and you’re down a chinook. You thank your lucky stars that Americans with ARs can’t fight the military.

Scenario Two:

Ok. Let’s do a thought exercise.

Those 12 Cletuses are the dumbest and most expendable guys the rebels have. They’re the dudes who don’t listen, just want to spray paint punisher skulls on everything and drive around larping.

Jennifer Sutton

Heaven forbid this civil war fantasy scenario plays out. Hypothetically speaking, and purely as a thought exercise. How do 12 Cletetus and company defend against a Predator drone? His talking points are asinine and pure political spin.

When your drone smokes them, they aren’t doing anything important to the rebellion because no one trusts them with important shit. They’re just driving around being dipshits.

But now, they’re useful. The pictures of their charred corpses and crying families are suddenly all over.

They’re a reminder of what people like Jennifer are willing to do to people who won’t submit to them. Hundreds of thousands are radicalized. Some of the dumber ones learn a harsh lesson about listening to those who’ve done work, and become more circumspect.

Meanwhile smart people are busy identifying the unit the drone was with. Who the operators and commanders are. Who had to give approval. What political flunkies were involved. Who all of their families are and where they live. Who maintains and fuels the drones.

One day a pilot from that unit gets capped in the head at a gas station. No witnesses. The unit is locked down and not allowed off post.

A couple families get the corpse pictures slipped under their door.

Now the unit has to pull the families on post, too.

They have to devote resources to keeping them secure. They’re cooped up in shitty army quarters for who knows how long, miserable and bitching, while the government tries to “investigate”.

But feds going out to investigate wind up dead.

And soldiers find nothing.

Meanwhile the main rail line that brings in fuel mysteriously blows up, and the gov is forced to truck fuel the long and expensive way.

Plus they have to guard it, because it might not make it. They have to use soldiers, because civilian truckers won’t touch the job.

That’s because they were quietly warned that any trucker delivering to that base would be found hanging from a light pole with a punisher skull carved into his chest.

That skull becomes a shorthand to identify collaborators.

People like Jennifer find it painted on their doors.

The cops are overwhelmed, and most sympathize with the rebels anyway. They won’t miss Jennifer calling every other week because her neighbors fence doesn’t have HOA approval. So they don’t care.

Soldiers suck at investigating, so they can’t do shit either.

The mil has bigger problems anyway. Anything exposed and unguarded is probably not coming back.

Whenever they come out in force, there’s nothing to be found but law abiding citizens who will tell them they hate the rebels. Morale sucks and tempers are short.

Command is terrified that someone is gonna lose it and shoot a kid taunting his patrol, or something. They know what happens to units that get linked to atrocities.

So Jennifer is on her fucking own.

No cops, no soldiers, no feds. They don’t care and have bigger priorities.

She’s not important enough to protect, and her circle of people cant muster up more than a decorative katana and a bunch of soy.

Every time she finds the punisher scrawled on her car or fence she wonders if it’s just asshole kids or if she’s about to be an object lesson.

People start to shun her, too, because no one wants to risk being associated too closely with a collaborator.

She’s on her own, no one but her cats for company, and even when things calm down everyone she knows will remember that she sided with authoritarianism.

Fin.

The Punisher skull idea is a nice touch. Any dot-mil officer, Deep State bureauslime, or “elected” official mired in hubris and habit deeply enough to think that this conflict will be fought in strict conformance with the large-unit doctrines they’ve trained for and are most familiar with—all of which confidently predict that the Resistance irregulars will be crushed, with minimal effort or inconvenience—is in for a BIIIIIG surprise, and really ought to block out more time in his busy schedule for some careful reflection.

Several more of these sobering, thought-provoking tales can be found here. Spicy Time is NOT going to be either pretty or pleasant, for anybody, and that’s a hard fact.

NOTE: In order to comment, you must be registered and approved as a CF user. Since so many user-registrations are attempted by spam-bots for their own nefarious purposes, YOUR REGISTRATION MAY BE ERRONEOUSLY DENIED.

If you are in fact a legit hooman bean desirous of registering yourself a CF user name so as to be able to comment only to find yourself caught up as collateral damage in one of my irregularly (un)scheduled sweeps for hinky registration attempts, please shoot me a kite at the email addy over in the right sidebar and let me know so’s I can get ya fixed up manually.

ALSO NOTE: You MUST use a valid, legit email address in order to successfully register, the new anti-spam software I installed last night requires it. My thanks to Barry for all his help sorting this mess out last night.

Comments appear entirely at the whim of the guy who pays the bills for this site and may be deleted, ridiculed, maliciously edited for purposes of mockery, or otherwise pissed over as he in his capricious fancy sees fit. The CF comments section is pretty free-form and rough and tumble; tolerance level for rowdiness and misbehavior is fairly high here, but is NOT without limit.

Management is under no obligation whatever to allow the comments section to be taken over and ruined by trolls, Leftists, and/or other oxygen thieves, and will take any measures deemed necessary to prevent such. Conduct yourself with the merest modicum of decorum, courtesy, and respect and you'll be fine. Pick pointless squabbles with other commenters, fling provocative personal insults, issue threats, or annoy the host (me) and...you won't.

Should you find yourself sanctioned after running afoul of the CF comments policy as stated and feel you have been wronged, please download and complete the Butthurt Report form below in quadruplicate; retain one copy for your personal records and send the others to the email address posted in the right sidebar.

Please refrain from whining, sniveling, and/or bursting into tears and waving your chubby fists around in frustrated rage, lest you suffer an aneurysm or stroke unnecessarily. Your completed form will be reviewed and your complaint addressed whenever management feels like getting around to it. Thank you.

"I predict that the Bush administration will be seen by freedom-wishing Americans a generation or two hence as the hinge on the cell door locking up our freedom. When my children are my age, they will not be free in any recognizably traditional American meaning of the word. I’d tell them to emigrate, but there’s nowhere left to go. "If the laws of God and men, are therefore of no effect, when the magistracy is left at liberty to break them; and if the lusts of those who are too strong for the tribunals of justice, cannot be otherwise restrained than by sedition, tumults and war, those seditions, tumults and wars, are justified by the laws of God and man."
