If he pulls a knife, you pull a gun

It needs but one foe to breed a war, not two, Master Warden, and those who have not swords can still die upon them.

Imagine if, following the disputed 2016 presidential election, the recently sworn-in President Donald Trump had sicced his Justice Department, hand-in-hand with allies in Congress and state governments throughout the country, after his Democratic political opponents who maintained that his election was the work of Russian interference.

Although the claim that Trump was a Russian asset was laughably false, and the subsequent investigation into those spurious claims damaged the federal government’s credibility in immense and perhaps irreparable ways domestically and internationally, applying criminal penalties to the promulgation of that theory would have been wrong, anti-American, and contrary to the First Amendment. In keeping with his stalwart defense of American values, President Trump made no directive to the Justice Department to pursue criminal charges against these Democrats.

Similarly, his Republican predecessor allowed Democrats to freely “challenge an election”: Democrats had previously contested the 2000 election by claiming that George W. Bush was “selected, not elected” as a result of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Bush v. Gore. A smaller minority contested Bush’s reelection in 2004, alleging irregularities in Ohio and elsewhere.

Reasonable concerns deserve a good-faith examination, not prosecution and persecution. But that is not what the sitting regime has offered when examining the 2020 election and its aftermath. Joe Biden’s goal (and that of his underlings) is to harass and silence politicians, journalists, dissidents, and political donors. Unfortunately, these tactics are working.

Pace the more delicate and effete among us, fluttering their hands in front of their faces, lapsing into a swooning collapse at the hideous gaucheness of the very idea, that should NOT to come as any big surprise. Why wouldn’t these bare-knuckle, objectionable, and bruising tactics be working, prithee tell? Fighting dirty usually does, especially when the dirty fighter sallies forth with ironclad confidence that his dainty opponent is far too self-righteous and smarmy to stoop to hurling everything he’s got, no holds barred, at his enemy. The dirty fighter knows his opponent never fights to win; he “fights” only to preen and strut, his superior morality on display for all to be awed by. When shitlibs do this, our soft-Right Fauntleroys sneer at it as “virtue signaling,” and recoil in disgust from it. But it’s a distinction without a difference, really. Now we come to the juicy part.

Despite the media’s insistence that the 2020 election was anything but corrupt, the voting systems in every jurisdiction of the United States are designed to render them incapable of being thoroughly reviewed by any independent third party. The system cannot be audited and requires putting blind faith in “experts” who build and run these systems.

Time and continuing analysis of circumstantial evidence have proven initial concerns and suspicions on the election results to be correct. An upcoming documentary, “2000 Mules,” produced by Dinesh D’Souza and Catherine Engelbrecht of True the Vote, presents concrete evidence of a coordinated nationwide campaign whereby ballot harvesters were paid to deliver ballots without any identification to drop-boxes funded by billionaires who run corporations staffed with left-wing ideologues. Mail-in ballot rules were ignored and disregarded under the pretense of COVID-19, which opened the 2020 election to an enormous amount of potential fraud.

Plenty bad enough, certainly. Yet even these, as well as the numerous other examples listed here are but a small part of the story. Bayou Peter hips us to an even more egregious example, and there’s more dirt out there to be dug.

The same lying media and their leftist ideologue elites who brought you the Russia collusion hoax and the Ukraine phone call hoax, who have been wrong about everything for at least two generations, now want to demonize the majority of independents and Republican voters as potential terrorists because they believe for good reason that there was systemic voter fraud in the 2020 election. Reasonable concerns and documented witnesses deserve a good-faith investigation and examination, not politically motivated prosecution and persecution. What we have experienced since 2020 is perhaps the most diabolical cover-up in American political history.

While the “Trump Won” movement undoubtedly has been overzealous and—in its patriotic exuberance—perhaps has run with information that has been less than credible at times,

Give me three examples, please. Hell, I’ll settle for two.

history will nevertheless remember them fondly. They were the individuals brave enough to stand up against the odds, defy the ubiquitous information warfare propaganda, and withstand ostracism from friends and family for refusing to let the truth be memory-holed.

Even though the 2020 presidential election was taken from the people, the stars are aligning for American patriots to avenge what happened in the midterm elections this year and then again in 2024.

Uh huh. Because, even though The Great Election Swindle of 2020 was a smashing success, why, those gosh darn Democrats wouldn’t DARE try any such thing again! They know we’d all rise up in righteous rage and…and…and think about maybe writing a strongly-worded letter of protest to our local liberal newspaper or something!! THAT’LL show those dirty dogs!!!

All that pointless foofaraw aside, I do enjoy seeing Trump staying all up in their face the way he has. His recent lawsuit is almost certainly doomed, but I just love that he’s filed it, and I hope he keeps it up. Of all the supposed “leaders” on the Right who say they’re sick and tired of being force-fed the Libtard shit sandwich and are good and ready to BY GOD DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT—right before folding like a cheap accordion the first time some rubber-room refugee in a dress publicly shouts “Transphobe! Hater! RACIST” at him—Trump’s the only guy I see out there who refuses to curl up into the usual defensive crouch, preferring instead to stay constantly on the offensive. As Grant said: he didn’t want his officers thinking about what Lee might do to them; he wanted them to concentrate exclusively on what they were going to do to Lee.

When all you’re doing is reacting to your enemy, you’re locking yourself into a position from which victory is impossible. Every military strategist knows that you have to make your adversary react to you. Trump appears to know that too; for the last five-six years, he’s put on the only political show worth watching. Trump is the only shit-talking, glove-throwing, naturally-obstreperous pug we have going for us, and you can’t help but love him for that.

Anger ain’t enough

Biden prattles inanely on “democracies at an inflection” point, ignoring the beam in his own eye. Sundance ain’t having any of it.

I know Emmanuel Macron, Boris Johnson, Jacinda Ardern, Scott Morrison, Justin Trudeau and Joe Biden himself, would like to think that we do not remember the past two years of complete unilateral dictatorship they enjoyed while hiding behind the shield of “emergency authorizations,” but this is one website that will continue to document – for the historical record – the brutal reality of these pontificating liars.

Do they really think we have forgotten how they never once asked the representative government for authorization before triggering their unilateral fiats? The economic lockdowns, the loss of liberty, the collapse of freedom, the shutting down of any form of petition for grievance, the use and weaponization of the regulatory system, the manipulation of courts, the unilateral mask and vaccination mandates, the demands for compliance to some of the most ridiculous rules and regulations, and yes, even the lies and double-standards they applied to the masses while they themselves ignored the rules they forced upon everyone else…Do they really thing we have forgotten this?

There’s a lot of white-hot anger amid the citizenry of those aforementioned nations, righteous anger – yet these government creatures of entitlement stand on a soapbox today and decry autocracy and/or oligarchs.

Seriously?

The sad, sorry fact is they don’t care whether we’ve forgotten or not. We laid down for them and let them have their way with us with very little resistance, a passivity that made them bold.

Few things raise the anger of people to a level where foul language is the better option than the physical violence that might surface without it, but this level of hypocrisy and pretense is surely one of them.

To all the leaders of various “western democracies” who will now clutch their pearls as the backlash from the brutalized citizens starts to come full circle, you did this to yourself.

No one is to blame other than Biden, Trudeau, Ardern, Morrison, Macron, Johnson et al and the leaders of NATO who now suddenly need the support of the citizens they abused in order to fend off their new enemy, Vladimir Putin.

Western government leaders intentionally and willfully positioned themselves as the enemy of freedom. They do not now get to grab back the torch of liberty and wield it as a talking point weapon against totalitarianism.

And yet…that is exactly what they’re doing. They’ll keep right on doing it, too, unless and until they get themselves badly burned by having a righteous, searing blast of that “white-hot anger” turned on ’em. Anger is a fine and useful thing; talk, likewise, is a fine and useful thing. But at some point, anger loses its power; talk curdles into mere bluster, more impediment than inspiration. The Enemy has been more than sufficiently apprised of our displeasure. His response has been to double down, to tighten the screws further still. Thus, we find the hour of decision upon us: Will we, or won’t we? A nation entire holds its collective breath, awaiting the fateful answer.

The Ukraine deception

Brandon Smith splashes a big ol’ bucket of cold-water reality around, dousing many a globalist to the skin. But one of many inconvenient truths contained therein:

There Are No US Funded Bio Labs In Ukraine?
Yes, there are. THIS IS FACT. The existence of multiple bio-labs in Ukraine has been openly admitted by US officials including Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland. Nuland also indicated that these labs should not fall into Russian hands because of the dangerous “research materials” they contain; she refrained from calling them biological weapons. It is also openly admitted that US funding for these labs began during the Obama era (just as funding for the infamous Level 4 bio lab in Wuhan, China began during the Obama era). Obama himself toured the facilities before he became president and admitted that the labs contained anthrax and plague viruses.

The argument for US involvement in the Ukrainian bio-labs was that these dangerous materials needed to be properly secured and “protected.” Yeah, I’m not buying that, but at the very least it is absolutely and undeniably true that Ukraine holds multiple bio-labs, containing materials that could be used as biological weapons, and those labs have received ample funding from the US government. The amount of media lies and spin surrounding this one issue is truly impressive. Clearly, there is something about these labs that the government is trying to hide.

Do I think this is the reason Russia invaded Ukraine. No, not at all. The point remains, though, that White House and media arguments on the bio-labs are verifiable lies.

Gee, what a shocker. Also: UNEXPECTED!!™ Bottom line?

Most of these disinformation campaigns in the media and by political officials from the White House to Neo-Cons in the GOP are obviously designed to accomplish one thing: American support for war with Russia. Frankly, Ukraine is not worth it. The displacement of refugees is saddening but war in general only EVER serves the interests of globalists and power brokers. We can’t be lured in by false narratives and the exploitation of our empathy.

NATO involvement in Ukraine, including military involvement, has been pervasive for over a decade, well before the Russian invasion of Crimea. It’s almost like Ukraine has been groomed as a powder keg for potential global war. Now, it appears the globalists are falling back on Plan B in a desperate play to distract the public from economic destruction. Putin is a part of it, Ukraine is a part of it, and most NATO governments are a part of it. The real war is not with Russia; the real war is with the establishment elites that are playing both sides of the conflict. Why sacrifice millions in a pointless engineered conflict when we can eliminate a handful of power mongers and finally live in peace?

Bold mine, so as to underscore what I firmly believe to be the question of our age. Trump’s most important accomplishment in office was to tear the masks off these malefactors, sacrificing a great deal himself in the doing. They’re the selfsame reprobates as Brandon rails against in this essay, as it happens, villains badly in need of their just deserts. It’s now up to Real Americans to see to it that Trump’s sacrifice wasn’t in vain.

Fix: STILL IN

American “election” reform? Don’t make me laugh.

OUTRAGE: To Date Not One Single Independent, Objective and Complete Audit of Dominion Voting Machines Used in the 2020 Election Has Taken Place

Gee, how very shocking and unforeseeable. Never saw that coming, nosirreebob.

Dominion voting machines were used across the country in the 2020 election, not in all states but in many. But these machines have not been completely audited by independent and objective experts at any location since the 2020 Election.

To good Americans, it is outrageous that the Dominion machines have not been completely audited by objective and independent auditors or investigators. It’s high time that this takes place.

Unfortunately, there’s far too few of us left to make it hpppen.

The whole “election” brouhaha is so sleep-inducing at this point it’s now the most powerful and effective anti-insomnia drug since Sominex. The only remotely interesting aspects left at this point, at least for me, are what time blue-state vote-tallying will be shut down this time; what laughable, credulity-reaming excuse they’ll offer for doing so; and how long will Leftymedia wait before jumping in with both boots to pooh-pooh even the most lackadaisical suggestion that hey, the “election” just might, just maybe, just possibly may not have been strictly on the up and up as merely the booze-fed raving of conspiracy-mongering cranks, paranoiacs, terrorists, and wild-eyed insurrectionists seeking to topple the government of Our Sacred Democracy, each and every one of whom of right ought to be summarily hanged without benefit of trial for their treason.

And then we’ll all just calm the fuck down, shut the fuck up, and get the fuck back to business as usual again. Y’know, just like the last time the Demonrats brazenly and audaciously yanked an election right out from under our feet, thumbed their nose at us, and then skated away clean as a whistle, with Official Authority at every level unabashedly proclaiming No Harm, No Foul, No Fiurther Questions, Thanks. Hell, this time around we’ll probably have become so inured to the swindle there won’t be even one hopeless hail-Mary lawsuit filed, I betcher. The Citadel of Democracy will remain safe, sacrosanct, and undefiled this time. There will be no Congresscreatures crouching under tables, hiding from their despised constituents and sweating copiously in fear for their lives. No bumbling Keystone Kapital Kops Korps butterbar looey will feel it necessary to murder an innocent, unarmed, and entirely harmless female citizen in cold blood.

On the brighter side of the whole mess, Offissa Pup will not be honored this time with an official proclamation of weak-kneed gratitude from shamefaced government officials, complete with the obligatory Scroll of Heroism, dewy-eyed praise of his boundless courage in the swift and sure adminstration of Justice, By God! sung in every corner of a supportive “news” media, a cooperative commentariat, and both wings of a complicit Uniparty establishment. EVERY corner, so as to be sure no Joe Sixpack lunkhead, the intellectually-dull sort of oaf who might be relied upon to be in agreement with those murderous Jan 6 radicals, will miss the point.

The resultant stench rising off this Swampy shitfling will be foul beyond enduring. So we have THAT to look forward to, I guess.

Update! I’ve argued before a couple-three times that the only way to minimize vote fraud and meaningfully reform our elections, here or anywhere, is actually quite simple:

  1. Use ONLY paper ballots, marked and counted by hand
  2. Vote ONLY on election day
  3. Require valid ID and proof of voter registration
  4. Voter MUST present himself bodily at his designated polling station—mail-in ballots limited strictly to military personnel, diplomats and emnbassy staff, and people abroad for business purposes, in a strictly-enforced and brief timeframe
  5. Election observers MUST be present—FROM ALL PARTIES— at polling places and, later, at counting stations, allowed unfettered access for close observation of all procedures, personnel, and materials
  6. NO electronic voting or counting machines—NONE, EVER
  7. After voting, participants will receive an indelible mark on their thumb comfirming they’d already cast their ballot, disqualifying them from doing so again

Of course, none of that will work unless and until the Democrat Party (slogan: Election Thievery Since Boss Tweed!) is destroyed utterly, the earth under its mortal remains salted, scorched, and sanctified by a qualified priest or exorcist. It’s long been my opinion that, when it comes to elections, technology is NOT our friend; the old, tested and true methods are best.

Looks like I might have to rethink that opinion.

You may not yet have heard about the brilliance of Redo Voting, but it’s the latest rage in Washington, D.C. Everyone is talking about it.
You’ve heard a lot about “chain of custody” problems in the 2020 election. With Redo Voting, chain of custody is no longer an issue. It is 100% guaranteed from the printer right through exhaustion of post-election excuses. You cast your vote on a secure .gov domain website, and no one but you touches your ballot.

It can be used to vote in person or from anywhere on the planet. Here is how that aspect works:
You get a scratch-off “ballot” (again, based on the same technology as a lottery scratch-off ticket) from any retail store, scratch it, and scan the QR code underneath with your phone (you can also enter the info into your home computer browser).

  • Your browser is then directed to a state.gov website.
  • Eligible registered voters cast their votes.
  • The vote is private, secure, and sent directly to a secure database. It cannot be altered or deleted.

When voting is closed, the secretary of State applies a decryption key to the repository and tallies the votes in seconds. She/he can give the key to anyone who wants to see the results (including voters). The tallies can’t be altered.

After a quick scan of the article, I haven’t been able to find a reason to object. It’s a clever melding of old ideas and new tech, and it looks pretty damned good to me. Read the whole thing, it’ll brighten your whole day.

The road to serfdom

We’re well along on it, very nearly to its terminus at the junction of Tyranny Circle, Despot Street, and Banana Republic Way.

On Jan. 6, 2021, a protestor, 40-year-old Brady Knowlton, says that an officer at the Capitol told “You can go in, as long as you don’t break anything.” At 2:35 p.m., Knowlton did, entering through the Upper West Terrace doors. He looked around inside the building, walked through the Rotunda, lobby, and Senate chamber gallery, obeyed the officer’s injunction not to break anything, and left the building at 2:53 p.m. For that, Knowlton now faces twenty years in prison in Old Joe Biden’s vengeful banana republic.

On top of the possibility of being behind bars until 2042, Knowlton, a law student, has suffered numerous other consequences already. According to the Daily Wire, “his law degree has been withheld, his lawyers say, Airbnb has banned him and his wife, and, for reasons that remain undisclosed, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection has stripped his Global Entry access.”

Unbelievable, disgusting, infuriating, intolerable—these and so many more adjectives and epithets come instantly to mind. I’m just gonna give my FBI/DHS/DEA/USSS readers a heads up before I come right out and say it: These people MUST be stopped. They must be stripped of all power, driven from office, and dealt with harshly. If it comes to killing, and it’s going to…well, best be getting on with it then, before these monstrous thugs wantonly destroy many more lives based entirely on moonshine, propaganda, and lies. We The People must see to it that every last one of them is persecuted in measure at the very least commensurate to, preferably surpassing, the petty abuse they’ve dealt out themselves—measure for measure and drop for drop.

The self-defeating folly which speaks of “taking the high road” and “that’s not who we are,” that recoils in dread and horror of “beoming like them,” must be abandoned. This is no chess match, no sporting contest between respectful and gentlemanly combatants. It isn’t a mannerly, highminded way to resolve our dispute, because there ISN’T one; our dispute cannot be resolved. What this is is a vulgar brawl—no holds barred, no referee, no pretentions to an impossible politesse. No tapping out of this one, no clean, civilized capitulation. Only total submission, in a dirty, eye-gouging, ear-biting melee which only ends when one combatant lies bleeding, unconscious, or dead in the gutter.

According to the charges filed against him in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, Knowlton “did unlawfully and knowingly enter and remain in a restricted building and grounds.” He also “did knowingly, and with intent to impede and disrupt the orderly conduct of Government business and official functions, engage in disorderly and disruptive conduct in and within such proximity to, a restricted building and grounds, that is, any posted, cordoned-off, and otherwise restricted area within the United States Capitol and its grounds, where the Vice President and Vice President-elect were temporarily visiting.” He “willfully and knowingly engaged in disorderly and disruptive conduct within the United States Capitol Grounds.

Y’know, exactly as their like-minded ancestors did back in 1775-6, the obstreperous brutes. The similarities between THEIR terrorists, insurrectionists, and lawless brigands and OURS are striking.

In short, America was a huge underground economy. Here trade was free and enterprise unrestricted. Taxes were so often evaded that for all practical purposes there were none; a person could keep everything he earned. He could save, and invest, and eventually have his own thriving business or farm that would provide jobs for the next wave of immigrants.

Inhabited by rebellious, individualistic smugglers and tax evaders, America quickly became the most prosperous place on earth.

You may have seen pictures of the Pine Tree Flag flown by American warships during the Revolution. Why would the colonists put a pine tree on their battle flag?

The (British) government had enacted a regulation saying no colonist could cut down tall, straight trees; these trees were to be reserved for masts on Navy ships. This meant the best, most valuable trees on a person’s land had, in effect, been confiscated by the government.

When a government tree inspector would come through the forest to select and mark the best trees, colonists would follow him. These inspectors were highly trained experts, good at identifying the best trees for Navy ships – the Navy ships that were constantly pursuing smuggling ships.

When the government’s lumberjacks then came through the forest to collect the marked trees, they would find the trees had already been cut and sold – for use on the smuggling ships.

One of these ships was THE LIBERTY, owned by John Hancock. Hancock was a successful wine merchant known throughout the colonies as “The Prince of Smugglers.”  His reputation eventually earned him the honor of being the first to sign the Declaration of Independence.

Unfortunately, as the story of the Pine Tree illustrates, America did not remain beyond the reach of government. As the colonists’ wealth increased, politicians began making more and more efforts to steal – “tax” – this wealth.  More and more bureaucrats and troops were sent to the colonies to enforce laws and shut down down the underground economy.

The colonists’ reaction was dramatic. The infamous Stamp Tax, for instance, was greeted by armed rebellion; tax collectors were tarred and feathered, a procedure which usually resulted in death. When John Hancock was arrested, the people rioted and the government’s agents barely escaped with their lives.

As I’m sure you all know, these examples are only the tip of a very large iceberg of criminality and treason. Read all of this one; the discussion which follows—of Jonathan Mayhew’s 1750 “Higher Law” sermon, which would become the intellectual lynchpin of the American Revolution—is well worth the price of admission itself. Now back to our own lawless brigands.

If Knowlton’s contention that a police officer said he could go in is true, it vitiates all these charges, and Knowlton’s claim is certainly corroborated by photographic and video evidence of cops at the Capitol opening gates, holding the doors open for protestors, and reports that police even posed for selfies with protestors.

Oh, it does far more than vitiate them; it refutes them utterly, revealing for all to see contra-Constitutional of the illegitimacy of the US Superstate. Also, when the FBI raided Knowlton’s home, they found no evidence whatsoever “concerning the breach and unlawful entry” of the Capitol, or “of any conspiracy, planning, or preparation,” or “maps or diagrams” of the Capitol, or of any “materials, devices, or tools” that Knowlton might have planned to use to get inside.

So why is the government pursuing Knowlton with such ferocity?

Because the Ruling Class of any dictatorship simply cannot afford to let dissent and protest flourish unmolested; it must be ruthlessly crushed without delay, lest it become widespread enough to eventually be a credible threat to them. Increasing (and increasingly strident) political dissent, then a Resistance movement to the tyrannous government, resulting in the immediate, excessive response from the tyrants, are markers indicating progress along History’s path. Team Liberty today is farther along that path than it may think, but definitely not nearly as far as we probably should be.

The most bitter irony of our time is two-fold: first, the ugly spectacle of government officials making a show of solemnly swearing an oath they have no intention of honoring, to protect and defend a Constitution they have no affection for or allegiance to. Second, the irksome annual midsummer orgy of seal-like barking, peacock-like strutting, and self-congratulatory “celebration of Muh Freedumbs!” by the same clueless ignorami who mindlessly assist in the forging of the very chains that bind and subdue them—chains whose loud clanking they mulishly refuse to hear.

Imagine a country that imprisons peaceful protestors on false charges of participating in an attempt to overthrow the government, as part of efforts to discredit and ultimately criminalize all opposition to the ruling party’s agenda.

Don’t need to “imagine,” Robert; we’re living in one. Amerika v2.0 today evinces nearly every telltale characteristic and/or condition that, taken altogether, explicitly define the word tyranny. There are but a steadily-dwindling few of those boxes left to be ticked off. As far as we know, I mean.

People who entered a public building when police held the door open for them are being held in solitary confinement and given draconian punishments far out of proportion to what they actually did. This is the sort of thing that happens in Third World countries, right? This is the sort of thing tinpot dictators do in banana republics, where the rulers gained power by underhanded means and have no respect for due process, the rule of law, or the rights of their citizens — right?

Well, yes, of course it is. It all has an extremely familiar ring to it, like the chorus of an old favorite song you haven’t heard in years and whose lyrics you can’t quite retrieve from the mists of memory, as well it should.

In America, we no longer have a single justice system for all people, regardless of race, or of power, or privilege, or the protected victimhood status they may have among the Leftist intelligentsia. We no longer have a justice system that is indifferent to and independent of political pressure. The politically and culturally dominant Left is not content with the massive power and influence it wields now; it is determined to silence all opposition and destroy it utterly.

And they’re very near now to successful realization of ALL their ambition, in full. Which is why the people must very soon rise up to bring them down utterly, using any and all means. We long ago failed to acknowledge the deadly threat they represent; for a long age, we averted our gaze as the cancer metastasized, undermined, and doubled and redoubled its deadly power. Now, thanks to our own sloth and self-deception, instead of swatting a mosquito in order to remove a mere nuisance, we must destroy an overgrown, hulking monster—a fearful Juggernaut whose strength and capabilities have waxed to the full, while our own have waned.

If this be treason, make the most of it. And may God grant that we prove able to live up to our forebears’ example.

You’re either predator or prey

Fear is a useful tool, one that reliably gets results. If they don’t fear you, you’re doin’ it wrong.

The date was November 4, 1980. Ronald Reagan had just been elected president. Ironically, it was exactly one year to the day that over 50 Americans were taken hostage by Iranian zealots under Jimmy Carter. For the likes of Col. Charles W. Scott, it marked a full year in captivity at the U.S. embassy in Tehran.

Scott later recalled the frightened reaction of his Islamist captors to Reagan’s landslide victory: “I remember specifically when one of the guards came in and said, ‘Reagan is now the new president. What do you think will happen when he comes into office?’ I didn’t say a word, I just went ‘BOOM.’ And they said, ‘Really?’ And I said ‘Yeah, the first day he’s in office after the inaugural ceremony, he’ll go back to the White House and say ‘OK, tell the Iranians if they don’t let those hostages go by midnight tomorrow night, its war.’”

A few weeks later, on January 20, 1981, quite literally as Reagan was being inaugurated, every single hostage was released. The double headline across the top of the New York Times the next day said it all: “Reagan Takes Oath as 40th President; Promises An ‘Era of National Renewal’; Minutes Later, 52 U.S. Hostages in Iran Fly to Freedom After 444-Day Ordeal.”

Richard V. Allen was Reagan’s foreign policy adviser during the campaign and his first national security adviser. I interviewed Allen on this subject. He noted that Reagan had “sought to be very careful not to inflame” or undercut the Carter administration’s diplomatic work, refraining “from doing or saying anything that would jeopardize whatever the [Carter] administration was doing to secure the release of the hostages.” But, said Allen, “we … never discouraged any journalist from thinking that, better yet, writing or saying, in effect, ‘the Iranians had better watch out, make their deal with Carter now, because once Reagan is in office, things will be radically different.’”

The outgoing Carter administration enhanced the Reagan threat through a high-level team engaged in negotiations with Iran. In the words of one Carter official, the team was ordered to communicate that “it will be a whole new ball game after January 20.”

The Iranians were convinced. The hostages were released on January 20 — the very moment that Reagan was being sworn in as 40th president of the United States.

“There was never any doubt in my mind that the release, coming at the precise timing of the inauguration itself, was both a slap at Carter and fear of what would come next,” judged Richard Allen.

Why mention this lesson now? Well, fast forward to the Trump years, and Joe Biden.

The same thing happened with liberals and Donald Trump. They portrayed Trump as a trigger-happy madman with his itchy finger dangerously near the nuclear button — like Reagan, a reckless cowboy. And yet, Trump rarely used military power as president. He actually got along with crazy Kim in North Korea, so much so that some of his gushing statements about the little dictator were outrageously embarrassing. What Trump achieved in the Middle East, with the president and his team getting multiple Arab nations to recognize Israel (the first Arab recognitions since Egypt in 1979 and Jordan in 1994), was tremendous. It would have earned a Democrat the Nobel Peace Prize. But no awards for Trump, as liberals were too busy framing him as a wild man.

Well, that liberal caricature probably had a positive effect in deterring someone like a Vladimir Putin.

Going back to 2014, recall that Putin plowed into the Crimea a year into Obama’s second term, and that Obama had infamously in an open-mic moment told Putin lap-dog Dmitri Medvedev in 2012 that he would have “more flexibility after the election.” A grinning Medvedev ghoulishly and greedily replied, “Yes, I tell Vladimir!”

Vlad listened. Putin, nurtured in the KGB, learned to respect strength and prey on weakness.

Again, a president who understood this was Ronald Reagan. “If you were going to approach the Russians with a dove of peace in one hand, you had to have a sword in the other,” said Reagan. “We had to bargain with them from strength, not weakness.” Reagan’s motto toward the USSR was dovorey no provorey, Russian for “trust but verify.”

And yet, that was not what Barack Obama did. Obama had approached Putin with a dove in one hand and a bouquet of roses in the other. Obama showed weakness, and the Russians exploited it. Putin abused it.

Reagan took pride in the fact that the Soviets didn’t gain “one inch of ground” while he was president. Indeed, they did not — and that was so after they picked up nearly a dozen satellite states in the immediate years before Reagan, under Presidents Jimmy Carter and Gerald Ford.

Joe Biden is bringing us back to the Obama years and even the Carter years, when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan (seven weeks after the Iranians seized Americans as hostages in Iran) and picked up client states left and right.

Whatever Putin’s reasoning, it is undeniably striking that he didn’t seek to annihilate Ukraine under President Donald Trump. For four years, he hit the pause button. Now, his troops are everywhere in Ukraine. It happened under Joe Biden. That is a fact that cannot be shrugged off by Trump haters. In fact, fair-minded liberals get it: “OK, but if Putin thought Trump was really that supportive of him, why didn’t he invade when Trump was in office?” Bill Maher recently asked. “It’s at least worth asking that question if you’re not locked into one intransigent thought.”

It sure is.

Yet somehow—all the above being manifestly correct, easy to comprehend, and beyond debate—the Left will still go right on insisting that we rely on displays of abject weakness, groveling, self-abnegation, and piteous bowing and scraping to produce the desired bargain, restraint, or concession from our adversaries. It’s baffling, really. Are they just stubborn and stupid, clinging to failed strategies and tactics despite abundant historical evidence that they just don’t work—worse, that they often backfire, bringing about the exact opposite of the object they hoped for. Or is their knee-jerk, reflexive hatred for America and Americans—their implacable wish to see her brought low, their dogged belief that American failure and humiliation are GOOD things—so powerfully ingrained in them that bargaining from weakness is the only option their stilted intellects can conceive of, just as a matter of moral probity?

Are they simply bugfuck nuts? Madmen so secure in their anti-American, pacifist, collectivist catechism’s essential righteousness that it can, it will, it MUST ultimately prevail? Are they wilfully blind to observable reality? Forever locked into an untenable system of belief, an indefensible position, an unworkable ideology? Do they imagine themselves and their ideas so persuasive, so appealing, so obviously superior that sooner or later they will bring the rest of us into agreement with them, allowing them to get to work proselytizing the rest of the world, thereby finally bringing the dream of global socialism into real-world existence?

It’s a puzzle we’ll probably never put together, I guess. In light of that, we should halt any further effort to understand and/or accomodate them, and move on instead to suppressing them, to subjugating them. We should, at long last, teach them fear, re-implanting it so deeply in their minds that the mere thought of trying to regain their lost influence and power makes them involuntarily piss themselves.

System of spoilage

How to drain a Swamp.

Virtually all Americans believed, until the inauguration of Donald Trump as president on January 20, 2017, that when someone became president, he could begin to implement his agenda. Certainly Old Joe Biden’s handlers have done so with a vengeance since they took over; but when Trump became president, he immediately began to encounter resistance from entrenched members of the government bureaucracy who refused to do as he ordered. Some worked actively against Trump, while the establishment media assured us that these self-appointed “deep state” saboteurs were the courageous guardians of “our democracy.” At his South Carolina rally Saturday night, Trump continued to tease a 2024 run and made a new promise about how he would break the power of the unelected “deep state.”

“We will pass critical reforms,” Trump said, “making every executive branch employee fireable by the president of the United States. The deep state must and will be brought to heel.”

It’s a commonsensical solution, as Ohio Senate candidate J.D. Vance pointed out. “Everyone is losing their mind about this, but I’ve been calling for it at every town hall I do. Either the president controls the executive branch or he doesn’t. If he doesn’t, we don’t live in a Republic, we live in a civil service driven oligarchy.”

Ummm, hate to be the one to have to tell ya and all, JD, but…

Quite so. And although the “deep state” only came to the attention of most Americans over the last few years, the controversy over the hiring and firing of civil service employees is one of the oldest controversies of the republic. As Rating America’s Presidents explains, Andrew Jackson was elected president in 1828 on promises to end the hegemony of a privileged aristocracy, and, to drain that swamp, he would need his own men in key positions. He removed a large number of civil service employees and replaced them with men of his own faction, which came to be known as the Democracy, or Democratic Party. This came to be known as the spoils system, after the old adage “To the victor belong the spoils.”

The spoils system essentially died with the assassination of President James A. Garfield in 1881. Garfield believed that the spoils system was an unending source of government corruption and pushed for measures that would end it, only to be shot by a man who publicly proclaimed that he was doing so because he belonged to the faction of the Republican party, the Stalwarts, that supported the spoils system. Garfield’s successor, Chester Arthur, was a Stalwart, but he demonstrated immense personal courage and honor in choosing to carry out the wishes of his slain predecessor rather than implement his own contrary agenda. His decision to do this effectively ended his political career, as he almost certainly knew it would, and yet he stood firm.

Can anyone even imagine a modern ProPol sacrificing his almighty DC sinecure solely on principle? Oh HELL no. America was indeed a very different country then, and Americans were very different people.

The proponents of civil service reform never envisioned a situation in which unelected and unaccountable opponents of a sitting president in the FBI, the Justice Department, and elsewhere would be determined to destroy the president — or at the very least make it impossible for him to carry out his policies — and could not be removed from their jobs because of civil service regulations.

Wouldn’t government work more smoothly, and the executive branch be able to operate more effectively in the way the Founding Fathers envisioned it would, if the president were able to clear out the employees of these agencies who opposed him and replace them with people more in line with his vision?

The spoils system has no defenders today, and has had none for over a century. It should have more. Trump is on the right track.

Perhaps, perhaps. However, that Swamp creatures were willing to do murder to preserve their spoils-system perks and privileges all thE way back in 1881 probably tells you all you need to know about just how likely Trump’s proposal really is to ever see the light of day today. There’s no indication that Swamp critters have moderated their determination to defend their prized Ruling Class status, not that I’ve ever seen. Anybody truly serious about ending the spoils system of legalized graft and corruption had best be prepared to commit violence in the attempt; it’s a lead-pipe cinch they’ll have plenty of it visited upon them by those who hope to thwart any meaningful reform.

A real “Well, duh!” moment

A perennial favorite poses the silliest of questions.

Why Are Leftists And Elitists So Happy About Skyrocketing Gas Prices?

Brandon (Smith, not that other guy) knows the answer as well as the rest of us do, of course, and goes on to lay it out for us.

There is a narrative being spread within leftist/socialist circles by media celebrities and White House cronies, and it is this: Paying high prices for oil and gas is actually a GOOD thing. But why is it a good thing to these people? How do they benefit?

Spoiler Alert: It has nothing to do with punishing Russia economically.

As I write this article crude prices have somewhat stabilized around $110-$115 a barrel, which translates to a little over $4 a gallon for gas across most of the country. I don’t expect this to last very long. My guess is that regular gasoline will end up in the $7 to $8 per gallon range before US shale oil roars back and balances out the market. I realize that this is a conservative estimate and perhaps a best case scenario. Gas could go much higher depending on speculation in oil markets as well as continued government interference from the Biden Administration.

The big secret is that gas prices were already going to inflate to epic highs, the Ukraine event is not a catalyst, it’s just adding a little petro to the house fire. The fact is, there are some people out there that are desperate for prices to go much higher regardless of what happens in Ukraine.

Yep. Another example of the shitlib Leftocrats never letting a good crisis go to waste, confirmation of their rock-solid opportunism in the mad quest for more power.

Biden’s electric car initiatives are strange in light of the fact that inflation is already straining people’s pocketbooks yet the government is suggesting those same struggling Americans buy $50,000 to $100,000 vehicles. None of this actually addresses the root causes of the inflation we face. Rather, Biden and leftists seem to be saying “We aren’t interested in fixing the problem, you are just going to have to adapt in the ways we want you to adapt…”

Clearly, the establishment does not want the public to question the real triggers for the inflationary disaster we are witnessing. This is illustrated very well in an article I found by CBS declaring that any suggestions that high oil prices are somehow tied to Biden’s electric car program is “conspiracy theory” related to QAnon.

This is bizarre.

Nawww. It’s typical, is what it is. Smith then lists some of those pesky, debate-proof facts the Left hates like vampires hate garlic before winding up thusly:

To summarize, the elites are happy about rising oil prices today because first, they now have a perfect scapegoat for the disasters inflation will reap; disasters they are responsible for. And second, they now have a backdoor way to introduce their carbon agenda, starting with forced public dependency on expensive and less efficient green technologies and slowly progressing towards total carbon restrictions.

Average leftists are happy about rising gas prices because they ignorantly believe that sanctions on  Russian oil hurt Putin. They also ignorantly believe in global warming and they don’t realize how drastically our standard of living will be reduced in the name of carbon dictatorship. In other words, this isn’t a conspiracy to force people to buy electric cars; most people can’t afford a Tesla anyway. But it is a conspiracy to undermine our prosperity and our freedoms through inflationary crisis as well as green energy mandates. Leftists have no understanding of this. They are happy because they are dumb.

Indeed so. They’re like a jilted woman who is so vindictive and hot for vengeance she’s perfectly willing to do things that will harm her too, even badly, just so’s she gets to score some points on her erstwhile man and do him damage in the bargain.

No matter how paranoid you are, you ain’t anywhere near paranoid enough

Coming soon to an Orwellian nightmare-nation all too near you. Quite nigh upon us, in fact. Like Sandberg’s fog, it crept in on little cat’s feet—inch by inch, over the course of many decades—and is now well-established and will be extremely difficult to overthrow. Even moreso, sickeningly, since so many so-called Americans actually support it. The Covid trial run showed that clearly enough.

Yesterday, when a December 2021 news article was belatedly linked at (ironically enough) Citizen Free Press, I saw The Perfect Citizen come one giant step closer to reality. Under the title “Worldwide Social Credit Industry – Infrastructure to Support Social Credit Systems Represents a $16.1 Billion Opportunity by 2026,” the article matter-of-factly discusses the great money-making opportunities now possible in the emerging field of police-state surveillance of the citizenry. After listing some of the multinational corporate giants competing for market share in our future slave-state, it summarized the “opportunities” in a set of bullet points:

“The COVID-19 pandemic has facilitated substantial interest in citizen monitoring solutions…

  • Cameras and other optical equipment for social credit systems will reach $723M globally by 2026
  • Advanced computing will be used in conjunction with AI to provide nearly flawless identification and tracking
  • Various forms of biometrics will be used for identity verification as well as verifying the presence/location of people
  • Starting as tangential to public safety and homeland security, the social credit market becomes mainstream by 2026
  • Social credit systems represent the ability to identify (mostly people but also some ‘things’) and track activities for purposes of grading behaviors and applying ‘social credit scoring.”

While no mention is made of the Maoist origins and goals of “social credit” ideology, the article admits that “most systems will have socially acceptable behaviour at their core…government, companies, and society as a whole must determine ‘good’, ‘bad’, and ‘marginal’ behavior within the social credit market…[S]ystems will ultimately be used for a variety of commerce and lifestyle-related issues…accessibility within public places such as concerts, sporting events, and other assemblies. High social scoring individuals within the social credit market will be granted preferred access to both real and digital assets…[T]he convergence of … disparate technologies…will facilitate value within the social credit market…sensors, biometrics, cameras, and other optical devices, computer vision systems, and other advanced computing platforms.”

Ah, the banality of evil as our natural rights and freedom die not in a blaze of glory on a battlefield but by slow-motion absorption into a real-life “Matrix” of cybernetic transhumanism facilitated by financial advisers.

If the familiarity all this doesn’t leave you with chilled blood and gooseflesh, you aren’t paying attention. The title mentions “war propaganda,” but for some reason the author barely even mentions it in the piece. Bill takes up his slack for us:

Seems relevant.

Milestone reached

Anybody remember when State Media ran those somber “grim milestone” reports each and every night on the TeeWee “news,” reminding everyone of Shrubya’s totally unacceptable body count in Iraq and Afghanistan?

Nah, me neither.

The total number of adverse reactions reported in the USA is 1,084,457 as of that date. Over one million adverse reactions…yet the media, and the medical establishment, trumpet how “safe” the vaccines are! If that’s “safe”, then I’m Mata Hari! (The reports for Europe are just as bad, if not worse in certain countries.) Of particular importance is the incidence of heart problems (particularly pericarditis and myocarditis) encountered among the vaccinated. Another looming issue is the rise in stillbirths among vaccinated pregnant women: “We are currently on pace to see a yearly total of 2,838 recorded fetal deaths following COVID-19 shots, while the yearly average of recorded fetal deaths following the vaccination of pregnant women for the past 30 years has been an average of 74 fetal deaths per year.”

Do bear in mind that those record-setting numbers come from the VAERS numbers, which even the CDC itself has admitted almost certainly amounts only to a fraction of the real total.

Medical “science” is racing to explain away those reactions (which, as the bottom graphic above shows, are worse than all previous vaccines of any kind since records began to be kept). Guess what excuse they’ve just invented?

Oh, I’m sure it’s a good one. The deadly OMIGAWD!!™ variant? White supremacists? Trump? The heartbreak of psoriasis? WHAT?!?

Guess what? It’s not the vaccines’ fault at all – it’s stress! That’s why so many vaccine recipients are dropping dead with heart problems!

Note, too, that this excuse will also be used to motivate more money for the medical establishment: “without at least doubling the current funding, the NHS will not be able to tackle the ‘trauma timebomb’, which could have potentially fatal consequences for those suffering with long-term PPSD”. Yeah, riiiiiiiiight. It’s not the vaccines’ fault, so go on foisting their poison on as many people as possible – and give us more money while you’re at it, so we can treat a wholly invented, non-existent stress disorder!

D’you ever get the feeling that the medical establishment as a whole is trying to play us all for suckers?

Sure, and why not? It seems to have worked out extremely well for them so far.

If you haven’t, I suggest you don’t understand the reality of the situation. Do they really think we’re that stupid?

Of course they do; who could possibly imagine otherwise? Have they ever given anybody a single reason to think that they don’t? The big question here is: ARE we? Because frankly, having put up with everygottdamned thing they’ve done over the last nigh-on two years at the very least without a murmur of complaint, I’ve not seen just a whole lot of evidence so far that says they’re wrong in that insulting assessment.

In all the previous pandemics in human history, nobody ever even thought about, or postulated, or theorized, or investigated this syndrome…yet suddenly, out of nowhere, it’s a major factor in fatalities among the vaccinated?

Hate to say it, but in a very sad way there may be a fairly plausible argument in support of the idea, especially when you consider the lamentable reality that the vast majority of Americans today are NOT the sort of stout, independent-minded, indomitable souls their forebears were. Not even close, they ain’t. In a nation populated shore to shore with thoroughly steercotted fruits, flakes, and nuts who get their panties in a bunch over some sane person offhandedly referring to them as “he” instead of “XHRSHIMX” or some other stupid horseshit, the real shocker is that falling over stone-dead because OHHH, I JUST CAN’T EVEN!!! isn’t a lot more common than it is.

Mini-Mengele done unto death

Julie Kelly tears the Malignant Dwarf a richly-deserved new one.

It’s nearly impossible to select the most maniacal comment made by Dr. Anthony Fauci in his nearly 70-minute interview with “Face the Nation” host Margaret Brennan that aired over the weekend. Joe Biden’s chief coronavirus advisor and miniature global menace spent more than an hour denying responsibility for his documented mistakes, bragging about his self-appointed role as the world’s doctor, hogging credit for the vaccines, and attacking anyone who has challenged his unrivaled ego and track record of failure.

Portraying himself as a victim rather than the cruel, megalomaniacal tyrant he is, Fauci took aim at Donald Trump, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Senators Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Ted Cruz (R-Texas), and Congressional co-sponsors of the “Fire Fauci Act,” which would zero-out the salary of the federal government’s highest-paid bureaucrat and audit Fauci’s correspondence and financial transactions during the pandemic.

While declaring, “I represent science,” Fauci humbly graded the scientific approach to the pandemic an “A+” while incongruently  warning about a “fifth wave” of the virus and explaining away one scientific stumble after another, from useless temperature checks to the need for bi-annual booster shots and randomly claiming the virus spread is “40 to 50 to 60 percent…asymptomatic.”

Science!

Of all his alarming remarks, however, Fauci’s push to get experimental vaccines for babies and young children to market as quickly as possible is the most depraved. When asked by Brennan, who has spent the better part of two years asking Fauci how to run her life and the lives of 330 million Americans, when he expects vaccines for children between the age of six months and five years to be available, Fauci said he hopes the shots are ready by the beginning of next year. “I would hope it would be in the first quarter because the studies are being done right now on children from two to five and then from six months to two years,” Fauci told Brennan. “I don’t think there’s going to be an issue with efficacy. But when you’re dealing with children, it’s a very sensitive area. And that’s the reason why [it] may take a little bit longer.”

When parents question whether it’s necessary to vaccinate children, Fauci replies that, “yeah, we do want to be vaccinating the children because we want to vaccinate and protect everyone in society, including children.”

Now, that is not the conclusion of a sound man of science, as Fauci again insisted he is in the interview, or even a man of common sense and humanity—that is the raving of a madman.

Good, toothsome stuff so far, all of it. Following the above up with “demon,” “sociopath,” “sadist” and worse, though, serves notice to one and all that Our Jules, bless her savage heart, was only warming up.

In a just world, Anthony Fauci would be giving lengthy television interviews clad in an orange jumpsuit from the confines of a federal penitentiary. Aside from his crimes against humanity, especially the tragic toll on senior citizens and young people, Fauci has clearly committed a number of crimes including lying to Congress and the American people in his official capacity and misappropriating federal funds on ghoulish scientific experiments.

Disagree with the first sentence of that last ‘graph, muchly. No, in a truly just world this half-pint homunculus would be dangling by his scrawny neck from a high gibbet in some remote and lonely wood, his bulging eyes pecked at by ravens, his tangled, dripping entrails ripped loose from his flabby gut to sway gently with the midnight breeze, there to be the plaything of bobcats happily batting away at the rancid, gory goo with razor-sharp claws. Squadrons of buzzards would tear his putrefying flesh into bloody gobbets for their dining pleasure, swarms of blackflies the only crown ever to adorn this bargain-basement Messiah’s empty head—thorns being well above the station of such a lowly, miserable villein as he.

After all that, Fauxci’s unlamented corpus would, ideally, be left to hang in disgrace for a full month at minimum, speedily shrinking beyond its already laughably-diminutive stature due to the parallel ravages of carrion-beasts and the natural processes of decomposition—the noisome gases repeatedly belched forth in a cannonade of horror and shame; the fleshly shroud peeling back to commend the ghastly, undersized skeleton to the attentions of beasts inclined to gnaw and worry at such; whatever small dignity this sad, no-account wretch somehow managed to scrape up and retain over the course of a misspent existence suddenly collapsing into a vague, barely-perceptible feeling of shame—the kind that tugs weakly at a better man’s sleeve as he passes by, causing him not to slow down so as to either pay heed or offer respect for the departed, but to speed his pace, his departure made with a brief flash of mild annoyance at the useless distraction caused by one entirely unworthy of his, or anyone else’s, consideration.

Then, after the Animal Kingdom and nature’s elemental fury had all consumed their fill, the tattered, stinking remainders would be cut down and unceremoniously kicked into some unknown and unvisited crevasse or ravine, there to be reunited at long last with Mother Earth, whether She will or She nil—nobody asked what Her preference might be, I suspect—in the fullness of time to be erased from all memory of this mortal coil, all his futile works and flights if egotistical fancy gone and most definitely forgotten as well.

Now THAT, I think, is more like it. As I said the other night: why this contemptible gnome, this pluperfect Grey Man of Government, hasn’t been the recipient of some long-distance rifle-round lurvs way before now is beyond my ken. It’s baffling, is what it is, and I can see no explanation for it.

Of Ford Rangers and fascism

It might seem like something of a stretch, to some of you out there. Would that it were so.

The Diesel Ranger That’s Probably Not for Us
The redesigned 2022 Ranger – it’s bigger than the current model we can buy here in the U.S. – has just been launched “globally.” Actually, hemispherically – since our hemisphere (the North American chunk of it) will not get the new Ranger until 2023.

And we will probably not get the new turbodiesel V6 that will be optional in the new Ranger in other hemispheres. Including even Australia – where people are tackled by armed government workers for not “masking” outdoors…but diesels are still largely free to roam.

Not so much here.

It is harder to get a diesel engine past through the needle’s eye of government ukase pertaining to allowable emissions than it would be to stuff an actual camel through such an attenuated aperture. Even with the grafting on of chemical exhaust scrubbers, DEF tanks and the re-engineering of the once-simpler, once less-complex diesel engine to a state of greater complexity than a current gas-burning engine, they still have difficulty making the cut.

The few – and it is very few, indeed – that do are very expensive as a result.

As a for-instance, the only Ranger-sized truck that’s available with a diesel engine in America as of the 2022 model year is the Chevy Colorado and its GMC-badged twin, the Canyon. The diesel is, however, only available in crew cab Canyons and Colorados near the apex of the trim pyramid and then only if you buy it as part of a $5,185 package, which means spending at least $35,000 to get the diesel in this truck.

That makes it too rich for most Americans.

Or rather, makes it too expensive to make much sense – especially in view of the slight – about 6 MPG – fuel economy benefit vs. the gasoline V6 that’s available as a much less costly option in lower-trim/lower cost versions of this pick-up.

It’s likely that these same factors will keep the diesel engine outside this market – precisely because it no longer is one.

The balance has tipped decidedly in the direction of a fascist economy.

It’s a case I’ve made here myself numerous times over lo, these many years. The depressing thing is that, rather than dwindling over time, supporting evidence is piling up faster than ever before. More depressing realizations yet to come, which we will be addressing anon.

The  relevant – the defining – element of fascism is: private property allowed – but controlled and directed by the state.

You’re allowed to build cars – and trucks – but only within the parameters laid down by the state. You can buy a car or truck, but only those cars and trucks the state says you may buy (and then, you may retain possession only so long as you pay the required – and ongoing – mandatory tithes and use it in accordance with the state’s allowable usages).

That is fascism – which doesn’t fundamentally alter whether said in German, Italian or American.

Unlimited power to decree what they (the car companies) can sell and what we may buy. It is why we cannot get the diesel engines – plural – that are already available in the current Ranger, on sale in places like Australia.

Which, by the way, is also available with a manual transmission. But not for us. The Ranger we get – now and pending – is and will be automatic-only, for the same reason we won’t get the diesels.

It’s not just cars and trucks, either – as hardly needs to be stated. It is everything. Or rather, there is nothing – in principle if not in actual fact – that the government hasn’t asserted its power to allow or not and if the former, under what conditions.

It’s a shame there aren’t goose-stepping soldiers saluting the Leader – in high definition color.

People might notice it then.

Possibly, some might even object.

SOME will object, of course. But how many of us won’t? Worse, how many would actually be in favor of such a development, even enthusiastically so? Which brings us to the worst, most depressing realization of all: In light of how radically the Left has retailored the national fabric—altering the nation’s character and identity with malice aforethought—could those dangerously deluded fools have become a majority of Americans? Because if that’s the case, it strongly suggests that those guilty of “not noticing” just became the very least of our concerns.

On the other hand, I do have to confess that, on my most jaded and cynical evenings, a correctly-aligned dictator or military junta seems like it could well be a significant improvement over the Democracy Theater™ shit-circus we’re being thorougly and painfully snootered by at the moment. A Royal Highness, Generalissimo, Emperor, or scowling, beetle-browed Il Duce might come as a breath of fresh air, long as he hated Leftists with a fierly passion that burned with the heat of a thousand Suns and wasn’t above the judicious application of thumbscrews, stretching ’em on the rack, or tossing their sorry asses in the Iron Maiden for a goodish spell now and again, just to keep the conniving, nefarious bastards in their place and freshen up their memory as to who’s really in charge around this joint.

Perhaps a dictator is no different than a great many other things in this life: Neither entirely good nor entirely bad overall, necessarily. The main thing is making sure you get yourself the right kind of dictator, that’s all.

Omicron-O-Mighty!

Dick with ears skeets off yet again.

BRENNAN: Senator Cruz told the attorney general you should be prosecuted.

FAUCI: Yeah. I have to laugh at that. I should be prosecuted? What happened on Jan. 6, senator?

BRENNAN: Do you think that this is about making you a scapegoat to deflect–

DR. FAUCI: Of course-

BRENNAN: –From President Trump?

FAUCI: Of course, you have to be asleep not to figure that one out.

BRENNAN: Well, there are a lot of Republican senators taking aim at this. I mean–

FAUCI: That’s OK, I’m just going to do my job and I’m going to be saving lives and they’re going to be lying.

It is a tragic and embarrassing statement about the American people and their commitment to their own Constitutional rights, to liberty itself, that “Dr” Anthony “Mengele The Lesser” Fauxci’s brain-pan wasn’t ventilated via long-distance .308Win or .338 Lapua HVAC service years ago. I can think of no good excuse Americans might possibly come up with to explain it. Kunstler expounds further on the poisonous little gnome.

Does it finally look like Dr. Anthony Fauci is trying to carry out an assisted suicide of the United States? On the Sunday Morning TV chat circuit, the White House Covid-19 czar (a.k.a. The Science) declared that the new Omicron variant is “a clarion call” to get people vaccinated. Is that so, Dr. Fauci? Considering how well your “vaccines” work? And how many people have been maimed and killed by their side-effects? (More than all other vaccines combined over the past thirty years.) And how you knavishly outlawed effective and cheap early treatment protocols that would have put Covid-19 down by June of 2020 (and saved half-a-million lives). The Science also called on Sunday for the general re-masking of the public and averred to the possibility of more lockdowns ahead. And just at Christmas-time, you understand. What a nose this rascal has for politics!

Senator Ted Cruz (TX) called for the Department of Justice to prosecute The Science for lying to Congress, which The Science smugly laughed off, perhaps knowing that his world-beating, maliciously incompetent leadership in the Coronavirus saga would end up incriminating and delegitimizing the entire corrupt, Pharma-captured US public health bureaucracy, with collateral damage everywhere else in government — and therefore that no authority in the land would dare to swear him under oath in a court-of-law. Or so he may think for now.

Meanwhile, Virologist Barry Schoub, Chairman of South Africa’s Ministerial Advisory Committee on COVID-19 Vaccines, declared the new Omicron Coronavirus “mild.” Could it be that the whole hoary Covid-19 narrative is falling apart now? Could Dr. Fauci and his sleazy associates in the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the WHO, the Big Pharma C-suites, the grifting university research labs, the despicable social media combine, and yet more sinister outfits such as the CIA and the WEF — might this unholy host of villains and fixers find themselves on-the-run? And might Omicron represent for them some final grasp at the last straw of narrative control?

It’s pretty clear that citizens of the liberal democracies are fed up with being pushed around, jabbed, driven out of business, lied-to, gaslighted, and deprived of their livelihoods. They increasingly can’t believe any of the bullshit issued by the medical establishment and its political hand-maidens, and why should they? The countries with the highest vaccination rates also happen to be the ones with the highest Covid cases. Countries with low vaccination rates and widespread use of early treatment with common drugs have low Covid cases. Two weeks after Japan okayed the use of Ivermectin in mid-November of this year, cases fell from a big surge down to near zero. What part of that is complicated?

The Covid-19 mindfuck worked to distract the country’s attention from the activities of characters like Lawfare avatar Marc Elias of the DNC’s Perkins Coie law firm and Marc Zuckerberg of Facebook, going all around the swing states in 2020 with sacks full of money, arranging election procedures such as mass mail-in voting with no voter ID to facilitate the victory of the obviously non compos mentis empty shell of “Joe Biden”. That did work. Just what the country needed, too, at this perilous moment of history: a fake head-of-state. The people mostly played along for two years until very lately, seeing at last how they have been robbed of their health, their wealth, their future, and very likely their children’s futures. Watch them now as they turn on the ones who made all that happen.

T’is a consummation devoutly to be wished. We’ll see, I suppose. Myself, I’m still up and then down on that prospect, and never have been anything like as confident as James is even on my best day. I’m still seeing FAR too many morons driving alone in their cars fully face-diapered up every day to be overly optimistic about it. One thing I AM absolutely certain of: No amount of Congressional “investigations,” blue-ribbon panels, and/or calls for the DoJ to “DO something!!!” are going to shift Herr Doktor Fauxci one centimeter closer to his final exit from government “service.”

No, the last, best opportunity to get rid of the mass-murdering sumbitch via nonviolent means was Trump’s, who as President could quite easily have fired the arrogant, loathsome rectal polyp long ago, and goddamned well should have too. For whatever inexplicable reason, though, Orange Man Bad didn’t get around to something that certainly should have been amongst the top five items on January 21st, 2016’s List Of Things I MUST DO As President Before Lunch Today, and…well, that’s that, really. Nobody better be wasting time or effort hoping Shits ‘N’ Giggles are gonna do it, nor whoever the next three or eight TPTB-approved Pretend Presidents end up being, either. It’s another of those jobs that, if they truly want it done, Real Americans are just going to have to roll up their sleeves—so to speak—and do it themselves.

Update! In New Zealand, in Australia, in the UK, in Austria, in the FUSA, there is a simple, self-evident truth that applies across the entire world: No national populace has ever complied its way out of tyranny.

Yesterday the Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, announced her infantile traffic light system, which will govern everything you can and can’t do as decided by the bureaucrats in Wellington.

It is as illogical as it is childish. For example “Green is when COVID-19 is across New Zealand, including sporadic imported cases. Community transmission is limited and COVID-19 hospitalisations will be at a manageable level. The health system will be ready to respond, including primary care, public health, and hospitals.”

That is like MOST OF NZ! Yet she’s plunged most of the country into Orange and the rest into Red.

Apparently, the draconian restrictions placed on the unvaxxed is to keep us all safe from the vaxxed…I’m not kidding. The lack of joined-up thinking is getting to ridiculous proportions.

If you are still unvaxxed at this point in time you aren’t going to get vaxxed. We’ve made our choice, we don’t need protection from anyone or anything. This is a nanny state writ large.

Meanwhile, more evidence has been revealed that shows the “protection” the vaccines supposedly impart to the population is a mirage, or a sham.

This ends when enough of you stop playing their stupid games. While you still think you can comply your way out of tyranny the silly games with silly prizes will just keep on coming.

The tyrant is drunk on the power she’s got. She isn’t going to let it go easily. She most certainly won’t let it go by you complying with the demands.

But the unvaxxed now have another tool in their kitbag. The government has declared us Untermenschen. Grant Robertson is suggesting that if you are unvaxxed or if your business doesn’t use their rules then you will no longer be able to access government assistance.

So the unvaxxed should cease paying tax and their businesses should cease paying tax. We have been frozen out of society, so we should cease to contribute to the society that is oppressing us.

Lock us out, ostracise us, take our freedoms, send us underground. This is a classic example of how people become radicalised. And this is all on Jacinda Ardern. She’s created divisions and hate when there was none before.

The tyrant must be deposed. I have no idea yet how that happens, but happen it must.

Oh, I think you do have an idea, actually. We ALL know full well “how that happens”; it’s never been any big secret, there’s no mystery to it all. There has only ever been just the one way to do it, and anyone with even a passing knowledge of history knows precisely what that is. While we’re at it, let’s be perfectly clear on an important distinction: excepting rare instances under unusual circumstances, throwing off a despotic government isn’t something that just “happens.” Rather, it is an extremely dangerous, drawn-out, and arduous process, requiring tremendous sacrifice of those valiant souls who actively and consciously undertake to DO it.

Liberation from tyranny does not HAPPEN—passively, spontaneously, all unlooked-for and out of the blue. Revolution, to call it by its proper name, is DONE—actively, purposefully, only after a long train of ever-escalating abuses and usurpations has finally outstripped the willingness or ability of the abused to endure more of it. My own internal back-and-forth over when, or even whether, over-entitled, risk-phobic Kens and Karens in what used to be America might get fed up enough to hoist the black flag and start cutting throats aside, make no mistake: EVERY national population has its limit, and WILL surely revolt if its would-be rulers exceed it, whether from malice, overconfidence, or fateful inattentiveness.

Present-day dimestore dictators such as Fauxci and the rest of his vile ilk do themselves no favor when they forget or ignore a certain truism, constant and reliable enough to amount to a mathematical equation of sorts:

What this is doing is encouraging extremism. It will, if it continues, end in bloodshed. Of either the refuseniks, or the tyrant enablers. A wise ruler would step back now.

Because the more one oppresses, the harsher will you be treated.

Yep. T’was ever thus, and ever will be. Sadly, tragically even, wise rulers seem to be in decidedly short supply nowadays. But sooner or later, in one way or another, they will learn. ALL will learn.

Again.

Courting the ban-hammer

A bit of background will be needed on this one, folks. To wit:

Way back when Twitter first got cranked up, I was persuaded by a lovely and charming lady friend from the halcyon days when we were both working at the venerable and now-defunct Cheap Jack’s vintage clothing store on Broadway near Union Square—Heather by name, now residing in northern Califruitopia a stone’s throw from Sacramento, or she was last I heard anyways—to procure myself both a Twatter and a LinkedIn account, the better for us to keep in touch with. Never once have I bothered using either of them, although naturally I still receive multiple annoying e-mails from them every single damned day—along with same-same from Imgur, which outfit to my sure and certain knowledge I have never signed up for at all.

That said, I have now been driven to Tweet my first Tweet.

Wooden tit be awesome if my very first Twat wound up getting me banned for life? I think so. More from GP.

A Massachusetts liberal activist visiting his parents in Merrimack, New Hampshire over the Thanksgiving holiday had a meltdown over a gun store’s window display that features posters criticizing Joe Biden, Dianne Feinstein and Anthony Fauci, calling the display a “call to violence.” Nothing in the display explicitly or implicitly calls for violence. Apparently however, exercising First and Second Amendment rights is seen as a call to violence by this liberal activist.

Ben Jackson, a writer and producer who works with actress Alyssa Milano on her Sorry Not Sorry podcast, posted a photo of the store, 619DW Guns & Ammo, with the statement, “This is the gun shop in my parents town. Don’t fucking tell me this isn’t a call to violence. Don’t tell me gun culture isn’t sick to its very core. #NoRA #MerrimackNH #NHPolitics”

Jackson was further triggered by Guns & Ammo’s requirement that patron not wear masks in the store, posting a photo a sign in the door that reads, “Stop & Read: We Draw Guns on Masked Visitors – Take Your Mask Off before Entering.”

This is not the first time 619DW Gun & Ammo triggered liberals over their window display. A poster of Barack Obama captioned “Firearms Salesman of the Year” drew complaints in 2013.

Sounds like my kind of gun store. In my inaugural Twat, unfortunately, I totes forgot to include the appropriate “hashtags,” which are apparently de rigeur in that little demi-monde, I guess: #ComeAndTakeThem, #AnyTimeYouFeelFroggy, #CryMeARiverShitlibs, #BulletsFirst.

And with that, I hereby announce my permanent retirement from Twatter. Thanks so much, everyone, you’ve been a wonderful audience.

Disgusting, appalling, intolerable

I’m gonna excise the name of the town and state from the excerpt, just as a tease. See if you can guess where it might be.

School boards have always attracted their share of controversies: disagreements over curriculum, bitter election fights, and personality clashes. But in recent months, as parents express their frustration over Covid lockdowns, mask mandates, and critical race theory, local school districts and federal law enforcement have upped the ante by monitoring parents, requesting undercover agents at school board meetings, and even arresting parents who attend board meetings to express dissent.

The latest and most egregious example comes from ******, ****. In a series of school board meetings this fall, two fathers—a minister named Jeremy Story and a retired Army captain named Dustin Clark—spoke out against alleged corruption and school officials’ hostility toward parents. Journalist Pedro Gonzalez reported that at an August meeting, Story had calmly “produced evidence that the board had covered up an alleged assault by the superintendent, Hafedh Azaiez, against a mistress.” The superintendent and school board president cut him off midsentence and ordered officers to remove him from the premises.

At the next meeting, in September, with the district’s controversial mask mandate on the agenda, the school board locked the majority of parents out of the room, preventing them from speaking. Clark and other frustrated parents asked the board to open the nearly empty room to the public. Instead, school board president Amy Weir directed officers to remove Clark from school property. As he was dragged out by two officers, Clark shouted to the audience: “It’s an open meeting! Shame on you. Communist! Communist! Let the public in!”

A few days later, the school district, in coordination with law enforcement, sent police officers to the homes of both men, arrested them, and put them in jail on charges of “disorderly conduct with intent to disrupt a meeting.” Families and supporters of Story and Clark held an all-night protest outside the jail, until the men were released the following morning. They are now raising funds for their legal defense.

The school board was able to do this because the ****** Independent School District has its own police force, with a three-layer chain of command, patrol units, school resource officers, a detective, and a K-9 unit. The department serves under the authority of the board and, through coordination with other agencies, apparently has the power to order the arrest of citizens in their homes. For many parents, the school board is sending a message: if you speak out against us, we will turn you into criminals. When reached for comment, the school district’s police department confirmed that it initiated the investigation and that “one board member requested details from the ****** Police” prior to the criminal referral.

Bill makes one of the most cogent points, but I can easily think of several more:

A little something for those naifs who still think that the coppers will form a Thin Blue Line of constitutional protection between the public and the ruling class that pays their salaries.

Hate to say it, but I don’t expect it to be much different when the military is sent in to round up Real Americans and shut them down, gulag style. Yes, there are still good cops, just as there are good soldiers—sober, thoughtful men who take the oath they swore to the US Constitution seriously, and who find themselves at an extremely troubling moral crossroads now. I’ve heard from some of them as this bizarre (un)American inversion has played out over the last nigh-on two years, have spoken at length with some who live around here—people I’ve known since I was but a wee lad, a couple of them. The prospect of being given such outrageous orders is causing them true anguish, calling into question the core ideals and beliefs they’ve lived by their entire adult lives, making them wonder what all those years of sacrifice, hardship, and extreme risk were for, if anything.

Ahh, but did you guess where this jackbooted trampling of so many Constitutional principles and “protections” it actually, physically pains me to think about it actually went down?

It was in Round Rock, Texas.

That would be TEXAS, people. TEXAS. With a capital T-E-X-A-S.

What. The. Actual. FUCK.

If this sort of thing starts happening in Florida, may Almighty God forbid it, it’ll be proof positive that our problems are even bigger than we realized.

Update! Cold comfort.

Round Rock is a city in the U.S. state of Texas, in Williamson County (with a small part in Travis County), which is a part of the Greater Austin metropolitan area. Its population was 99,887 at the 2010 census.

The city straddles the Balcones Escarpment, a fault line in which the areas roughly east of Interstate 35 are flat and characterized by having black, fertile soils of the Blackland Prairie, and the west side of the Escarpment, which consists mostly of hilly, karst-like terrain with little topsoil and higher elevations and which is part of the Texas Hill Country. Located about 20 miles (32 km) north of downtown Austin, Round Rock shares a common border with Austin at Texas State Highway 45.

In August 2008, Money named Round Rock as the seventh-best American small city in which to live. Round Rock was the only Texas city to make the Top 10. In a CNN article dated July 1, 2009, Round Rock was listed as the second-fastest-growing city in the country, with a population growth of 8.2% in the preceding year.

Round Rock is perhaps best known as the international headquarters of Dell Technologies, which employs about 16,000 people at its Round Rock facilities. The presence of Dell along with other major employers, an economic development program, major retailers such as IKEA, a Premium Outlet Mall, and the mixed-use La Frontera center, have changed Round Rock from a sleepy bedroom community into its own self-contained “super suburb”.

All that being so, the bolded bits in particular, I suppose the real shock is that there were any dissenting parents there in the first place. The tell-tale signs of a sudden shitlib-locust infestation are all right there, easy to see for anybody who’s experienced one of these tragic invasions up close and personal.
