FBI rally disappoints

A report on this weekend’s sparsely-attended GlowniggerPalooza 2021 from the sole remaining media outfit you can trust now.

FBI Rally In D.C. Ends Without Incident
WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Federal Bureau of Investigation is disappointed by the low attendance at the D.C. rally they organized for Trump supporters today.

In spite of the FBI’s best efforts to lure a bunch of angry MAGA insurrectionists to the Capitol this weekend, only a few hundred FBI agents dressed as MAGA insurrectionists showed up.

“Ivermectin! Get your hot, fresh Ivermectin HEEEERRRRE!” cried one agent selling bootleg Ivermectin tablets from Tractor Supply Company. Unfortunately, he only made a couple of sales to a few other FBI agents from other field offices he didn’t recognize.

“Greetings, fellow Trump supporters,” said another agent. “Let’s go insurrect the government, shall we, fellas? Maybe kidnap Gretchen Whitmer? Whadaya say boys? Say—I sure do love racism!” He was then immediately tackled by three other FBI agents who dragged him to an unmarked van.

Another field agent passed out flyers for a “Super Secret Satanic Pedophile Meeting”, but was sad to find there were no takers, except one lady named Hillaria Clintonania.

Aww, too bad. Better luck next time, Fibbies…oops, ‘scuse me, “patriots.”

Lonely Boiz update! Since so few of us showed up for them to play with this time ’round, all they had left was to play with themselves.

Confirmed: Armed Man Arrested at J6 Rally is Federal Officer – US Attorney’s Office in DC Will Not Prosecute

No, of course they won’t.

A federal law enforcement officer was arrested carrying a gun at Saturday’s rally at the U.S. Capitol billed to support the suspects charged in January’s insurrection but will not be prosecuted.

The 27-year-old New Jersey man is an officer with U.S. Customs and Border Protection. He was arrested by Capitol Police for illegally possessing a gun on the grounds of the Capitol after people in the crowd reported seeing him with a handgun and notified nearby officers.

Generally, under federal law, law enforcement officers are given reciprocity to legally carry their weapons in other states, even those with restrictive gun laws. But the law has an exemption for government property or military bases where it is illegal to carry a gun, like the U.S. Capitol.

A spokesman for the U.S. attorney’s office in Washington said prosecutors were “not moving forward with charges” but did not provide additional information about the decision.

Two law enforcement officials said the officer was not at the rally in any official capacity.

Trust us on that. No, really, you guys!

Bottom line: As the US has now inarguably completed the transition from the Dysfunctional Republic category into straight-up Illegitimate Tyranny status, Patriots should consider showing up at only one final rally, protest, or mass gathering of any kind held in or near Mordor On The Potomac, capital city of the Occupation Government. And that last time, all attendees of said rally, protest, whatever, should NOT forget to bring the guns along. Until that day arrives, there is no longer a single, solitary reason for any Real American to risk showing his face anywhere near the God-forsaken place…and one helluva lot of excellent reasons NOT to.

Biden declares war on the South

Faux Jaux has now shattered all previous standards to take the award for Most Bitter, Spiteful, Vicious, and Cruel in a Tyrannical Role.

Joe Biden viciously attacked Republican governors over healthcare in a scathing tweet Thursday night, singling out the governors of Florida and Texas after his administration admitted it is slashing delivery of lifesaving monoclonal antibody treatments for COVID-19 to their states because of ‘equity’ with states with higher vaccination rates.

Biden (or whoever wrote it for him) posted on Twitter, “Republican governors in states like Texas and Florida are doing everything they can to undermine the public health requirements that keep people safe. They’re playing politics with the lives of their citizens, especially children. I refuse to give in to it.”

As TGP reported earlier Thursday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki defended the Biden administration slashing delivery in half of the monoclonal antibody treatment to Florida from a requested 70,000.

Newsmax reporter Emerald Robinson confronted Psaki on this and asked her why the Biden Regime is slashing doses of treatments sent to Florida when there is no shortage of supply to begin with.

“The Biden Administration is cutting supplies in red states by 50% – so for example, in Florida, they were expecting to get 70,000 doses this week which they say they need – they’re only getting 30,000 doses,” Emerald Robinson said. “And this is just not for unvaccinated people. In South Florida half the people who are seeking this treatment are fully vaccinated, so why is the Biden Administration cutting these supplies?”

Psaki smirked as she gleefully admitted the Biden Regime’s priority is to be “equitable.”

So, a government-run Covid death panel?

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis released a video statement following Biden’s attack, “I will fight like hell to overcome Biden’s cruel decision to drastically reduce lifesaving monoclonal antibody treatments for Floridians. We’ve seen steep reductions in hospital admissions due to early treatment efforts. It’s wrong to penalize Florida for his partisan bitterness.”

Accurate enough, Gov, but still a mite too soft-spoken to suit my taste. Let’s let your press sec try her hand at it, shall we?

DeSantis press secretary Christina Pushaw called Biden’s action, “pure evil”, “You are cutting off the supply of lifesaving treatment to Florida, Texas and other states that resist your tyrannical mandates. You are only hurting the everyday people of our states, and it’s all for your political agenda. This is pure evil.”

Ahhh yeah, there t’is.

Pushaw isn’t being unduly harsh or hyperbolic by saying this, either; Biden’s partisan assault against Southern governors whose staunch refusal to bend the knee and surrender their people to a tyrant’s whim pits their courage and patriotism against said tyrant’s patent lack of concern for American lives across the board, whether in Florida or Kabul. If such monstrous inhumanity, callousness, and indecency isn’t pure evil, I’d sure hate to see whatever is. More righteous fury from Pushaw at the link.

But fret not, sports fans; as Biden’s War On Freedom continues to heat up, America’s Governor has just executed an unexpected flanking maneuver that would have had Gen Thomas P Jackson himself leaping from his seat in wild applause.

Florida’s DeSantis Responds to Biden Limiting Florida COVID Therapeutics – Announces Monoclonal Antibody Purchases Directly From Glaxo Smith Kline
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis responded directly to the White House effort to kill Florida residents by withholding previously agreed shipments of Monoclonal Antibodies.

During a press conference earlier today, Governor DeSantis outlined the issues Florida is facing after the Biden administration instructed the federal offices of HHS to punish the successful therapy and recovery efforts of the sunshine state healthcare system. DeSantis outlines the purchase agreement that Biden intentionally violated and also the issues created by the federal government now blocking direct purchasing of treatment from the manufacturer.

Additionally, DeSantis noted he has held meetings with ¹GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) to purchase mAb shipments directly from the second source manufacturer in order to work around the roadblocks being presented by the Biden administration. DeSantis reaffirmed his commitment to stand in the way, and not allow Joe Biden to kill Americans just because he doesn’t like their politics.

I repeat: We cannot spare this man. He fights.

Wargaming

Of all the speculative discussions I’ve seen on the ways CW 2.0 might play out should the temp knob ever actually be dialed up from the current Med-Hi setting on up to full-on Rolling Boil, these feel to me like the most realistic, plausible, and probable of them so far. Scenario One:

You’re a battalion commander in 2ID. For nine months you’ve been tasked with keeping I85 open between Portland and Boise. It’s a ridiculous area for one battalion, but every maneuver unit in the military is tasked.

There is no rotation out on the horizon. Your companies are strung out in platoon COPs across 500 miles of mostly remote highway.

Most of your HHC is in ad hoc platoons covering sectors as well.

The supply line is absolutely vital to keep the rest of your brigade sustained as it tries to secure Idaho.

Just as important is keeping it open westbound, to supply Portland, Seattle, and the areas in between. The insurgency played hell with the supply chain.  FEMA is rationing food and necessities in urban areas, and every load is needed.

Early on you mostly dealt with occasional harrassment and clearing logs from the roadway. Turns out one guy with a chainsaw can snarl traffic through Umatilla National Forest for hours. Tracking them on logging roads and ATV trails is a nightmare.

You quickly learned that if you sent out road crews without escort, they would take harassing fire immediately. After one crew had their equipment torched and was forced to walk back in underwear, they refuse to work without a security element.

The problem is that when security is with the road crews, the insurgents just flex a few miles away and either create another roadblock, or sometimes hijack and burn a few loads stuck in the traffic. They especially seem to love hitting your fuelers. You’ve tried sending up UAVs to catch them at it, but they seem to have uncanny awareness of when you’re setting a trap and rarely bite. Those few you do roll up are sent north to the massive camp near Moses Lake. What you really need are SOF assets hunting the enemy while your forces hold key terrain.

Unfortunately, those assets are stretched thin and hard to come by.

It doesn’t help that the army lost 35% of long tabs in the Vax Purge of ’21. It also doesn’t help that half of 1st group is considered “politically unreliable” and is kept on Rear D at JBLM. Rumor is at least a dozen of those guys have up and vanished with their families, but solid info is kept close. You just know getting SOF assets in your AO is dicey.

SOF aren’t the only ones with personnel issues. You left 28 natives of Oregon and Idaho on rear D, to avoid any conflicts. Just last month CID rolled up an E4 who was passing convoy manifests and schedules to an old battle buddy in Lakewood, who was passing it to the insurgents.

Now your entire rear D is in segregated barracks and closely watched, and you’ve had to confiscate phones across the battalion. Your soldiers get one monitored call per week to their families. You’ve already signed 7 NJPs for guys who got caught with burners. The best intel you get, at least at first, was from social media companies providing data based on algorithms that identified insurgent activity.

The first round of mass arrests got hundreds. That dried up quickly, as they stopped using the platforms. It also scooped up hundreds of people based on social media history who are being held without charges, and are a constant PR nightmare. You have family members at your CP every day demanding due process, though you have nothing to do with detainee ops.

The biggest headache in your life, though, is the “volunteers”. When the proud boys tried to make a stand in Vancouver, and were immediately crushed, hundreds of “antifascists” showed up to “help”. You’ve been ordered to treat them as partner forces, but they’re worse than ANA. Half of them wheeze when they climb out of their subarus, and the other half can’t hold high ready for more than 10 seconds. They don’t follow orders, and after a few complaints about looting and some proud boy families going missing, the gloves came off locally. They still won’t engage your forces directly, but any “volunteers” who leave the wire on their own are likely to be found nailed to a tree. Of course local property crime and rape seems to correlate directly to their presence. They don’t want to fight, but they’ll harass civvies.

You get your morning brief and find that some of Idaho NGs missing Stingers surfaced last night and you’re down a chinook. You thank your lucky stars that Americans with ARs can’t fight the military.

Scenario Two:

Ok. Let’s do a thought exercise.

Those 12 Cletuses are the dumbest and most expendable guys the rebels have. They’re the dudes who don’t listen, just want to spray paint punisher skulls on everything and drive around larping.

Jennifer Sutton
@JenSutt6971

Replying to
@ArmyStrang
and
@nailbomb3
Heaven forbid this civil war fantasy scenario plays out. Hypothetically speaking, and purely as a thought exercise. How do 12 Cletetus and company defend against a Predator drone? His talking points are asinine and pure political spin.

When your drone smokes them, they aren’t doing anything important to the rebellion because no one trusts them with important shit. They’re just driving around being dipshits.

But now, they’re useful. The pictures of their charred corpses and crying families are suddenly all over.

They’re a reminder of what people like Jennifer are willing to do to people who won’t submit to them. Hundreds of thousands are radicalized. Some of the dumber ones learn a harsh lesson about listening to those who’ve done work, and become more circumspect.

Meanwhile smart people are busy identifying the unit the drone was with. Who the operators and commanders are. Who had to give approval. What political flunkies were involved. Who all of their families are and where they live. Who maintains and fuels the drones.

One day a pilot from that unit gets capped in the head at a gas station. No witnesses. The unit is locked down and not allowed off post.

A couple families get the corpse pictures slipped under their door.

Now the unit has to pull the families on post, too.

They have to devote resources to keeping them secure. They’re cooped up in shitty army quarters for who knows how long, miserable and bitching, while the government tries to “investigate”.

But feds going out to investigate wind up dead.

And soldiers find nothing.

Meanwhile the main rail line that brings in fuel mysteriously blows up, and the gov is forced to truck fuel the long and expensive way.

Plus they have to guard it, because it might not make it. They have to use soldiers, because civilian truckers won’t touch the job.

That’s because they were quietly warned that any trucker delivering to that base would be found hanging from a light pole with a punisher skull carved into his chest.

That skull becomes a shorthand to identify collaborators.

People like Jennifer find it painted on their doors.

The cops are overwhelmed, and most sympathize with the rebels anyway. They won’t miss Jennifer calling every other week because her neighbors fence doesn’t have HOA approval. So they don’t care.

Soldiers suck at investigating, so they can’t do shit either.

The mil has bigger problems anyway. Anything exposed and unguarded is probably not coming back.

Whenever they come out in force, there’s nothing to be found but law abiding citizens who will tell them they hate the rebels. Morale sucks and tempers are short.

Command is terrified that someone is gonna lose it and shoot a kid taunting his patrol, or something. They know what happens to units that get linked to atrocities.

So Jennifer is on her fucking own.

No cops, no soldiers, no feds. They don’t care and have bigger priorities.

She’s not important enough to protect, and her circle of people cant muster up more than a decorative katana and a bunch of soy.

Every time she finds the punisher scrawled on her car or fence she wonders if it’s just asshole kids or if she’s about to be an object lesson.

People start to shun her, too, because no one wants to risk being associated too closely with a collaborator.

She’s on her own, no one but her cats for company, and even when things calm down everyone she knows will remember that she sided with authoritarianism.

Fin.

The Punisher skull idea is a nice touch. Any dot-mil officer, Deep State bureauslime, or “elected” official mired in hubris and habit deeply enough to think that this conflict will be fought in strict conformance with the large-unit doctrines they’ve trained for and are most familiar with—all of which confidently predict that the Resistance irregulars will be crushed, with minimal effort or inconvenience—is in for a BIIIIIG surprise, and really ought to block out more time in his busy schedule for some careful reflection.

Several more of these sobering, thought-provoking tales can be found here. Spicy Time is NOT going to be either pretty or pleasant, for anybody, and that’s a hard fact.

Signs, portents

Well, this certainly doesn’t sound very good.

Back in 2007, there were hints that a financial disaster were coming, it’s just that many of them were simply missed, even though they were obvious in hindsight. As a firefighter, I saw them: Multiple families living in brand new, expensive homes without a stick of furniture. They could barely make the payment on their adjustable rate balloon mortgage, so they certainly couldn’t afford furniture. All it took was an increase in gas prices to set off the entire mortgage collapse.

There are again signs of an impending financial disaster, and they are everywhere. For example:

My in-laws were in Maine for the summer. They returned last week. Just before they returned, my wife went over to their house to prepare it for their arrival. While she was there, she smelled something odd, like rotting garbage. The smell was coming from the refrigerator. Even though the display on the door said it was cold, it was not. All of the food had rotted.

After a rather nasty cleaning session, the in-laws returned home. They went shopping for a new refrigerator, and there were not many to be had. It turns out that there is no supply coming from overseas, where most of them are made. The ones that ARE getting through are not enough to meet demand. There are lengthy backorders.

Yet another sign that the economy is grinding to a halt is coming from the auto industry. GM and Ford have suspended the production of pickup trucks because of the shortage in computer chips. This is a disaster for Ford Motor Company. All Ford makes is trucks, SUVs, and the Mustang. Ford reports that its sales are down 32 percent.

Total Ford Motor Company sales during July 2021 decreased 32 percent from last July, selling only 120,053 units. Sales of cars were hit hardest, with a 78% reduction to 4,365 units. Trucks were down 38 percent to 72,574 units, and SUV sales dropped 35 percent to 43,114 units.

That news was bad enough, but was ever worse for August, as Ford sales dropped 33 percent in August from the same month last year.

If this is a disaster for Ford, it is also a disaster for the US economy. Ford is the 21st largest company in the USA, and GM is the 22nd.

We are seeing shortages in all sorts of things: supplies are hard to find. Chicken, lumber, microchips, gas, steel, metals, chlorine, and ketchup packets are all in short supply. We shut down the world’s economy, and it is not wanting to restart. We can’t even get people to return to work.

“Experts” can argue about it for months, but no matter the cause, the result is the same. This slowdown of the economy is going to continue for months, perhaps several years. How many businesses will fail as a result is anyone’s guess. One thing is for sure, though. The economy is going to get much, much worse. Inflation is going to increase markedly as the law of supply and demand begins to take hold. Once Suzy Soccermom figures out that there is a problem, expect panic buying and even more shortages as she begins to panic shop for things.

Another thing I spent most of last year shrieking about was the mind-bending catastrophe that must follow from the hamhanded attempt to assert control over a national economy far beyond the comprehension of ProPol hacks, whose negligible intelligence and ability are routinely dwarfed by their stupendous arrogance. Again and again, I insisted that the onset of this ruinous interference would likely be delayed at first, allowing time for the damage to slowly spread throughout the most effective prosperity-generation system ever known to man and, eventually, break the machine down completely. Even when Trump seemed to miraculously revivify the economy last fall, I felt the reprieve could only be temporary, kind of like the way terminal patients can rally unexpectedly and against all odds—inexplicably acting, looking, even feeling much better for about three days or so, before their condition drastically worsens and the patient finally succumbs. More from Brandon Smith:

We are at an impasse. With incessant fear mongering over the latest covid variants and the government obsession with 100% vaccination, the pro- and anti-vaccine groups are squaring off .  It is a conflict between those who see their submission to the vaccination as a badge of personal responsibility and civic-mindedness versus those who see it as merely an excuse for authoritarianism. Unless pro-vax people choose to stand down and walk away from the fight, our economic future will grow increasingly unstable.

This is the foreboding backdrop of our economic tale, and it is important to keep in mind that the technocratic exploitation of the covid non-crisis as a push for supremacy is going to color EVERYTHING that happens in our financial system from now on. You cannot talk about our economic condition without including the effects of the pandemic theater.

I believe that the next year in particular is going to be adrenalized and chaotic beyond what we have already seen in 2020-2021. Like I said, there are two sides of America that are now completely opposed in almost every way. Something is going to snap, and I suspect this will happen in 12 months or less.
The U.S. economy is itself an underlying disaster in the making and in many ways the Covid issue is a convenient distraction away from a much larger threat.

The pandemic response has conjured an even greater crisis because the shutdowns of vast parts of the service sector led to trillions more in stimulus just to keep an array of businesses from closing permanently, let alone the trillions of dollars that are STILL being printed to boost unemployment checks.

All of this monetary trickery is going to end, and when it does, there will be a fiscal reckoning beyond anything the world has seen in centuries.

Here are some of the most immediate dangers as I see them in the next 12 months, and what they mean for our future…

Itemized analysis follows, all of it astute enough and also totally depressing, but the closer is what hammers in the proverbial Final Nail.

Vaccine Passports Will Be The Death Rattle Of Small Businesses
Small businesses make up around 50% of the U.S. retail market and are a big part of jobs numbers. I find it less than coincidental that nearly every single action on the part of the government in terms of the Covid response has led to a retail apocalypse that has eclipsed the small business sector while keeping the corporate retail sector alive. The last nail in the coffin for smaller service providers will be vaccine passports, if they are allowed to take root.

Biden’s latest and predictable announcement of a vaccine passport executive order apparently applies only to companies with 100 employees or more, but this represents a large number of small to moderate businesses, and if Biden gets his way ALL businesses will be included eventually.  I will be writing extensively on this in my next article.

Many retailers are already sounding the alarm over the fear of possible vaccine passports for customers because they know that they will lose at least half of their customer base in response. The enforcement of such rules would require extra costs that will grind down their profit margins. And let’s not forget that if a customer sneaks through security measures, that business might be held liable and fined into oblivion. It’s a lose/lose for business owners which means, again, that many thousands more businesses will close down.

America’s economy will be annihilated.

We all know that the government under Biden is not going to give up on vaccinations or the mandates. They will continue to press until they get what they want (or until the public stops them). Don’t get too comfortable in the relative calm that we have enjoyed until recently as far as Covid restrictions are concerned.

And, well, here we all are it comes.

A couple nights ago I said: You do not, MUST NOT EVER willingly lay Principle on the altar of Safety, no matter what cause, what purported emergency, is put forth as justification. Addendum: You do not, MUST NOT EVER allow people who have never run a private-sector business, met a payroll, or done an honest day’s work at a productive, useful job in their entire lives get their ignorant, incompetent mitts on the national ecosystem.

Of course, asking a ProPol to kindly refrain from meddling in affairs which are much too big for him is about as useful as asking a horse to fly; the question presupposes certain requisite traits which are nowhere in evidence among the species. In the case of despecta politicus, the absent trait is humility.

He’s only just begun

Just doing what tyrants always do: doubling down, then tripling down, then fourpling down, etc. With them, it’s always damn the torpedoes failures, full speed ahead.

They will not stop. They will have to BE stopped.

‘We’re Not Done Yet’: Biden To Announce More Pandemic Measures
US Surgeon General Dr. Vivek ‘masks don’t work… wait just kidding’ Murthy on Sunday defended the Biden administration’s new Covid vaccine mandates – calling them an “appropriate legal measure” to keep people safe.

“From the beginning, the president and all of us said ‘we’ve got to use every lever we have to fight this pandemic,” said Murthy.

Murthy also said there’s more to come.

“We’re not done yet,” said Murthy, adding that while vaccines are the ‘backbone’ of the government’s multi-pronged effort, “we know that there are other mitigation measures,” including masking, testing and social distancing.

“How quickly we get to a level where cases are low and stay low really depends on what we do collectively – not just the government – but each of us, as private citizens and what universities and schools and businesses do. If we work quickly to get people vaccinated, then we will get there faster,” he continued, adding “one of the things we cannot afford to do is allow the Covid-19 experience to turn us against each other. Our enemy is the virus, it is not each other,” (a line he repeated on ABC).

Nice try, fascist tapeworm. Your enemy is us, and our enemy is you. The Virus™ is a red herring, a plot device used for purposes of distraction—or, as the director more skilled in its use than anybody before him or since called it, a MacGuffin—and nothing more. Don’t think we don’t know it.

Anyway, how’s all that working out for ya so far, guys?

VACCINE REBELLION: Growing number of US states are refusing to go along with Biden’s covid vaccine fascism
About half the country is resisting Joe Biden’s latest Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) “vaccine” mandate.

The states of Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia and Wyoming are all engaging in some form of “vaccine rebellion” against the Biden regime, while the rest are capitulating – at least for now.

Pedo Joe decided on September 9 that he is going to try to force all federal, contract and large private corporate employees to get injected with Donald “father of the vaccine” Trump’s “Operation Warp Speed” jabs as a condition of employment.

Hunter’s dad said he is getting very ornery and impatient over the fact that tens of millions of Americans want absolutely nothing to do with Fauci Flu shots, no matter how many times he barks at them about it.

Rather than calm him down by giving him extra medication and a nap, Biden’s handlers are instead riling him up even more about the fact that Americans are refusing to obey his unconstitutional demands.

Hm. Pretty handy guide for distinguishing Free States from Slave States and determining the current state of play generally, I’d say. Keep it on hand as kind of a Civil War 2.0 scorecard, although the situation is quite fluid; it’s early innings yet, so the lineup will most likely change as the game continues. Ahh, but is there more EPIC BidenFail in evidence out there, you ask? Plenty.

At Apocalype’s edge

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer.

Something’s about to happen. I can feel it, I can smell it in the air. I woke up early this fine Sunday morning, put the coffee mocha on the stovetop, sat down to peruse the tidings of the world, and took stock. That was when I had the feeling. It feels like a point has been reached; a line in the sand, as it were. That a very large segment of the population, a segment that is far larger than what the elite’s minions claim it to be, has collectively decided that enough is enough. That this collective suicide has reached its end point. That the lunacy has to stop and that it stops with each one of us.

Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;

But the form that the stopping will take is what has my spiritual senses tingling. People in general have obediently gone along with their governments out of trust and good faith. At least, that is what happened at the beginning. Just two weeks to stop the curve, remember that? That trust has not just been eroded – it has been collectively obliterated, firebombed to ashes amidst the wasteland to which society has reduced itself.

Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;

People no longer want to participate in the lies, any of them.

The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

When you think about it, our nations have been in a collective stupor for a very long time indeed. Lulled to a state of mind numbed passivity, participating in daily life in order to get yet another bauble. Mice on the spinning wheels that go nowhere in a material sense and certainly have no future in a spiritual sense.

We needed to be woken up. And the feeling that I have is that a lot more of us are now awake than ever before. Those of us who were so fortunate to stumble upon the red pill communities over the last several years are now not so alone as we once were.

Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.

It’s not that our governments have been bullying and persecuting us for the last 18 months. No, rather they have been doing so for a hundred years. And every year they have been turning the screw a little tighter, cutting one more slice off the ever shortening salami, inching up the heat on the pot of water. Something had to give.

The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of
Spiritus Mundi
Troubles my sight:

We might be at this point because our governments have planned a new world order, a 2030 upheaval of the entire world. Or we might be here because those participating in the tightening of the screw simply couldn’t help themselves; they had nowhere else to go but push it those last few ratchets. Inch by inch, grind it out. That’s all they know, that’s what they signed up for; without that continual “improvement” then they would have no reason for existing.

somewhere in sands of the desert
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.

And now people know. A lot more people than even two years ago. They have been rudely jolted out of their slumber. And they are terribly resolved to not taking one more step back. Our governments pushed all in on the vaccinations and a large segment of the population has called their bluff. They won’t take the jab. They won’t go to camps for national unity. There is no unity with despots, and our governments are despot central. A chaotic collective of feeble little men and puny women with no courage, with no honor, with no loyalty except to their next promotion, with no prudence, with no honesty, with no patriotism and most of all with no belief in God.

The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,

Theirs is a world of idolatry to their gods of science and bureaucracy. They worship at the feet of men and as such have nothing in common with their fellow man. Their souls are small. They strive not for excellence but merely for power for its own sake. And they most of all desire power over us, over we who did not completely fall for the lies; who when we realised the true nature of things then we pulled back and simply said, no, I will not do that.

I will not do that. That is the line in the sand. And once you come to that point, then you are really free. Because it doesn’t matter. None of it matters. They wanted to do as thou wilt, well now they have it. So go ahead. Do as you want. But I will not do that and I want nothing to do with those who would make me comply with tyranny. You can brush it up in any obscene makeup as you like, but the lipstick is still on a pig and I will have no part in it.

Like I said, something is going to happen. Something’s gotta’ give. It’s time.

And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?

Expat sounds the cautionary note, making a much better job of it than I did with my own clumsy attempt the other night.

I know it’s a bitter pill to swallow. I know it’s retardation at it’s finest. Thing is, it also shows how desperate they’re getting. All you have to do is quietly fail to comply. Refuse. Remember the -best- way is to use some of the shit that brought another Socialist Bureaucratic-Oriented DotGov to it’s knees. That was Poland.

Yeah…Solidarity and their leader, true Nobel Peace Prize winner Lech Walesa. They most definitely don’t teach -anything- about the Solidarity Movement is schools here anymore. Nope, that’d be counterproductive to the plan. It ended up being a primarily peaceful overthrow-by-undermining the State via strikes, ridicule, and whatnot. Directly lifted from Wiki (not exactly an r/ourguys site):

“In the 1980s, Solidarity was a broad anti-bureaucratic social movement, using methods of civil resistance to advance the causes of workers’ rights and social change. Government attempts in the early 1980s to destroy the union through the imposition of martial law in Poland and the use of political repression failed.”

Part of -why- it worked was that they essentially undercut like everything. They started at the docks first, refusing to unload ships, which was a HUGE part of Poland’s trade. They did strikes, walk-offs all the usual union stuff. Not for nothing, I was living in Austria as a kid and remember watching it on a Black and White TV with my DeadDad wondering if the Rooskies were going to roll in the Armor like they did in oh so many other places. It was big news to all the ‘Muricans overseas…Thing was, we didn’t know it, but Ivan the Bear at the time was a hollowed out pale shadow of it’s former badass self…Sound familiar don’t it?

So yep. They’re going the same route. They as in Leviathan. The DotGov is trying to ‘rile us up’ into doing -something- that provokes us. And their “false flag department”, while still active, is sort of, pardon the pun, IMO “out of ammunition” as no one fucking believes their bullshit-filled-bullshitting selves any longer. They/, as they say, went for the ‘cheap regular thrills’ and now? It’s gonna have to be a really huge Whangdoodle of a -something- to get our attention these days. And if it’s that big and horrific, guesstimates on my end are No One is going to believe them at all.

Hell…I’m getting intel that MANY Regular Army Units are in almost open rebellion mode now. Troops are openly mocking the CinC (illegal to do on active duty) and daring the can’t cunt commanders to try something.

Know what gives me a little frisson of delight and makes my neck hairs stand on end? The prospect of Fuck Joe Bi-den, Fuck Joe Bid-en becoming a standard marching cadence in use by all units of the dot-mil. Not gonna happen, I know, but still.

Side note, apropos of nothing: Y’all feel free to correct me if I’m remembering it wrong here, but I seem to recall the “can’t cunt” formulation BCE just deployed as a trademark Marcinkoism, as in “no-load pusnutted pencilnecked diplo-dink can’t-cunt” etc etc. I have just about all of Demo Dick’s books around here someplace, and greatly enjoyed ’em personally. On the other hand, when I was at NAS Oceana for Cousin Reg’s CoC thing at the O-club (mentioned here more than once just recently), opinions on the self-styled “Sharkman of the Delta” at our table were decidedly, umm, mixed. Anyways.

Add on that at almost every. single. college foozball game, the most popular chant is now “Fuck Joe Biden”. That right there is some ‘Romanian Level” shit right there. And for those of you not in the historical aspect of things, Romania was a Communist Dictatorship, until it wasn’t.

Ordinally I don’t transcribe links or embed pitchers from posts I’m excerpting, since that would be hard and I’m fucking shiftless. But the pic that follows BCE’s last ‘graph is so compelling, so damned inspiring in light of the current sorry situation Real Americans now find themselves in, I just gotta make an exception this time.

Beautiful, man!
Sic semper tyrannis

The contemporaneous news story is equally inspiring, a real spirit-lifter:

PARIS (AP) _ Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceausescu wept silently and his wife Elena begged for mercy as soldiers readied them for the firing squad, according to footage of their execution broadcast Sunday.

Extracts of the graphic 90-minute videotape were aired exclusively by the French television network TF1. They are the most detailed look yet at the execution Dec. 25 at a military base outside Bucharest. The Ceausescus were executed days after being toppled by a popular revolution.

″Don’t attack us 3/8 We have the right to die the way we want,″ Elena Ceausescu told soldiers and the 10-person civilian-military tribunal that sentenced the couple to death.

Nicolae Ceausescu, who ruled Romania with an iron fist for a quarter- century, struggled briefly with the soldiers but said nothing. Tears rolled down his cheeks.

Soldiers placed the couple, who were not blindfolded, against a brick wall and others rapidly opened fire, emptying their magazines. The Ceausescus crumpled under the bullets, which also peppered the brick wall.

A medic then looked for signs of life in the eyes of Elena Ceausescu as blood poured from her head. He found none.

Does it get any better than that? Yes. Amazingly, yes.

The cameraman recording the execution was accidentally wounded, said TF1 journalist Patrick Bourrat.

Okay, I officially got chills here. I mean, really, now: two despotic, heartless, mass-murdering monsters taken down by popular revolt and put up against the wall for a first-class, express-ticket ride on the Hot Rails to Hell for a face-to-face confab with their Dark Master…PLUS, some journoweasel contracts hisself a slight case of lead poisoning in the bargain TOO? My cup runneth over, people.

While I ease down off the singularly delightful high brought on by the idea of certain Mordor on the Potomac demon-spawned orcs being treated to a similar fate in the quite-near future, do click on over for the rest of BCE’s sage advice. I’ll be back once I get the mess my spontaneous orgasm created all over the desk and chair sponged up.

Reality 101

Lesson One: when a nation loses a war, it does NOT get to make demands of the winners. Period. Most especially when, after having spent two decades getting its collective ass kicked up between its collective shoulder blades, Loser Nation skedaddles ingloriously away from Victor Nation’s territory in panicked chaos, leaving untold thousands of its own citizens stranded—abandoning men, women, and children alike to certain torture, enslavement, and agonizing death.

State Department voices concerns over all-male Taliban government
The State Department on Tuesday expressed concerns over the makeup of the new interim Afghan government announced by the Taliban, including the lack of female leaders and the past actions of some of those appointed to top posts.

A State Department spokesperson said in a statement shared with The Hill that although the Taliban “has presented this as a caretaker cabinet,” the U.S. “will judge the Taliban by its actions, not words.”

“We have made clear our expectation that the Afghan people deserve an inclusive government,” the spokesperson added.

“Expect” all you want, dumbshits. Then go ahead and “demand” a pony for Christmas too, whydon’tcha. Let’s see how THAT works out for ya.

The State Department didn’t have long to wait for an answer to its ludicrous and pathetic request, as it turns out.

Laughing in their smarmy mugs is the note-perfectly appropriate response, if you ask me. FederalGovCo seems absolutely committed to keeping the national humiliation coming, don’t they? Why, I’m sure I don’t know. All I can think to do now—all any of us who shouted ourselves hoarse sounding the alarm about what a Biden or any other Democrat-Socialist junta was liable to get up to—is just sit back and enjoy the show.

Give the State shitweasels credit for one thing, at least: they got some ginormous balls on ’em, to go around braying and snorting about what they “expect” the Taliban to do or not do like this—as if they had any right to say one fucking word to them, about anything at all—not to even mention any kind of leverage whatsoever to back their gasbaggery up.

Update! The US Department of State: putting America and her national interests last since 1944.

Whelp, ‘proof is in the email’ so to speak. The ‘stoppage’ in the finely-tuned privately run evacc’s from Affy has been identified. Namely the State Department apparatchiks. I believe it was Richard Marcinko of SEAL Team 6 fame called them the “Pin-striped pus-nutted change jingling can’t-cunts of State”.

Seems that they’re ‘worried’ about “proper screening and vetting” of those people, because THEY aren’t approving the manifests and the people getting evacc’d.  Human Refuse and Soon-to-be-Walking Garbage State Department Spokesasshole Ned Price had this to say: “If these charters are seeking to go to a U.S. military installation, for example, we have to weigh not only the threat to those who may be on board – especially if they’re American citizens, LPRs, other Afghans to whom we have a special commitment – but also to the safety and security of State Department personnel, U.S. military personnel, Department of Homeland Security personnel, other U.S. personnel on U.S. military installations,” Price said.”

Yannow…good on them cobbers for tryna keep ‘our people safe’ Aye?

Uh….aboot that:

Afghan Refugee Stopped on U.S.-Bound Flight with Explosive Materials, but Terrorism Not Suspected

Uh…oooo-k.

Lots more from BCE, which you can go on over and read the rest of if you have a strong enough stomach for it. Me, I think I’ll just sit here and quietly contemplate the staggering fact that A) Real Americans who flatly and forever reject being forcibly injected with a mysterious and dangerous DNA-altering cocktail are now under serious, credible threat of internment in federal concentration camps, by the self-same government that B) is concurrently waving innumerable hordes of unvaxxed, unvetted, and untested illegal aliens across our now-nonexistent southern border, AS WELL AS importing likewise-innumerable Muzzrat hordes (a/k/a enemy combatants) who are likewise unvaxxed &c, NOT TO EVEN MENTION simultaneously denying rescue and repatriation to privately-chartered planeloads of BONA FIDE AMERICAN CITIZENS because…aww, who the fuck even knows anymore.

Believe it or not, though, there IS a bright side of sorts to this dumpster fire of a goatfuck of a shitshow, if only of the left-handed, two-edged-sword, kinda-sorta variety. BCE knows what it is:

My understanding is that the people getting out? They’re known to the people running the show. At this point, it’s a LOT of Afghan Special Forces…who’re going to be highly pissed at being cock-blocked by State. ESPECIALLY if their beloved family members got left to the ‘tender mercies’ of the Tallybananas Kids. Not that –reality– has any place in the DotGov…

I suppose when and IF, well…lets be realistic…we ARE talking about Afghani Military Men trained by the best of the US DotMil. Literally hard men who’re going to swear Mighty and Hard Oaths of Vengeance and Blood on those MOST responsible for this fiasco. “You got me in a vendetta kind of mood” thing is like going to happen. And let me tell you all, they -won’t- be blaming the Tally bananas kids…to them, ‘they’re doing what they do’…sort of like a bear is going to shit in the woods, they understand and well, they’ll swear some of that vendetta against the Taliban, but this time, they have a quantifiable and easily identifiable pile of Human Garbage in D.C. that they’ll lay the majority of the blame on.

If’n I were part of State and had anything to do with this fuckup, I’d be looking to cash out the 401K, retire early, change the name and IDs and head to deep cover, ‘cos these guys? They make the Sicilian Mob, the real Mafia look like cuddly dago-kittens. And we’re bringing them here, dispossessed and pissed off.

Grab the Popcorn, this’s gonna be great

All this, remember, from a guy who has ample firsthand, in-theater knowledge, and therefore knows whereof he speaks. Go ahead and accuse me of a severe Patriotic Sentiment deficiency. Go ahead and say my perspective and priorities have been short-circuited by blind partisanship. Go ahead and say whatever the hell you like, I don’t care. All I know is that, if ANYONE AT ALL in the employ of the illegitimate Biden junta—be they great or small, high or low, powerful or humble—has a heapin’ helpin’ of Just Deserts in their immediate future…well, I admit I’m a-okay with it. No matter who will be serving it up, or where he might have come here from.

Know thine enemy

Billy Beck on the ultimate hopelessness of any campaign of “massed passive civil disobedience“—he cites the examples of Thoreau, MLK, and Ghandi—waged against an essentially amoral, conscience-bereft foe. Such as, say, the US government.

None of this would have worked against Hitler, Stalin, or Mao.

Can you think why?

It’s because the very idea of passive disobedience of unjust law, and submitting one’s own life to it, requires a moral conscience in the enemy, to which to make the appeal. One cannot stand in front of a criminal without moral conscience and appeal for a rational mercy. He simply will not care. In Nazi Germany, the USSR, or Communist China (to this very day), all three of these men and their followers would have been summarily crushed.

And this brings us to America in the 21st century.

The central question in all of this, in our current context is:

Is there enough of a moral conscience remaining in American culture to which to appeal by “flooding the courts and embracing the prisons,” as I said?

I still think the question is valid, but I am less certain of the answer than ever before.

The reason why is this:

It’s the socialists who are driving ethics and politics in America, now. Anything resembling anti-socialist politics (of any variant) has been fighting a rear-guard action since the end of the Reagan administration. (Their intellectual and moral cowardice, however, goes back to their betrayal of Barry Goldwater in 1964, and this is actually a very good analogy to Trump, today. John McCain is a great example.) Culturally, the socialists have possessed the political and ethical initiative beginning with Clinton in 1993.

There is no price that they would not pay — in your money or blood — in order to establish their utopia. The notorious communist historian Eric Hobsbawm said that twenty million lives would be worth it. He said this in 1994. He meant what he said, and all socialists hold the same basic conviction.

What’s at question here is the nature of the fight.

Thoreau, Gandhi, and King were spiritual soldiers. The difference is that they didn’t fight with guns. They fought with ideas, in action.

The socialists have no serious regard for dissent of any sort, and they reject ideas, especially. They do not value human morality: theirs is the morality (if we call it that) of predatory animals.

Billy posted this back in January, two days after the 1/6 “insurrection” false-flag op. The subsequent calamities since, compounded by the terrifying acceleration of their rate of occurrence, serve to underline the post’s grim continuing relevance.

We’ve seen plenty and to spare of strident editorial blatting from our self-styled allies employing a too-familiar and increasingly irksome MO: first, forthrightly acknowledge that we now have ourselves an actual, by-God war on our hands here—a war it is absolutely imperative for Team Liberty to wage, and to win—then, after several of what were once quaintly known as “column inches” all a-brim with steamy fooferaw in support of “fighting” and “defying” and “resisting” and other such tough talk, suddenly reverse course to nonchalantly insist that said war must, dammit, MUST be “fought” strictly via “legal, Constitutional, nonviolent” methods. The premise behind that alacritous back-and-fill is fundamentally flawed, the underlying assumption sheer fantasy.

Left unsaid is a dated and dangerous misperception: that any hope still remains that the DC Leviathan-state sitting atop America’s heaving torso like the elephant in the Spiriva inhaler commercials might yet be reformed; that it is in the main staffed with basically decent, honest Americans who predominantly hold bedrock values which, despite being in notable disagreement with those of the Founders, can nevertheless be trusted to fulfill their oath to uphold them; that both of these projects are worth pursuing in serious fashion, and not mere pipe dreams, flights of fancy, or full-on delusions so obviously untethered from reality that Don Quixote de la Mancha himself would sneer at them as preposterous.

Misguided or misinformed our Left antagonists may well be, these people keen. But at the end of the day, they are still our countrymen, fellow Americans within whose hearts the Declaration’s immortal pulse still strongly beats, and who therefore can still be reached by appeals to a reason they’re immune to, in advocacy of principles they abhor. If Team Liberty can only present its argument logically and respectfully enough; find a sympathetic enough judge to preside over its latest lawsuit; assemble marchers in number enough for the next nonviolent protest rally…why, The Enemy must SURELY be so impressed by such restraint, such rectitude, such politesse that he will simply HAVE to agree to reconsider and relent! Right?

RIGHT?!?

Wrong. As Billy says, such intellectual diffidence is but a recipe for defeat against an enemy such as this. If we are to win through, we must first of all face some difficult facts: That the government for which the Constitution provided the blueprint exists now in memory alone; that the current government bears not so much as a passing resemblance to its predecessor, no matter how tightly one squints one’s eyes, rendering it by definition an illegitimate, fraudulent, and thus intolerable imposture; that the core beliefs, assumptions, and ambitions of We The People are in direct opposition to those of our adversary, creating a yawning political and ideological chasm so deep and so wide it can never be spanned. Most crucial of all: that compromise and peaceful coexistence between the two sides is no longer possible.

When you must do battle with a monstrous adversary who places no limit on the extremes his barbarism and cruelty might compass—a struggle in which defeat means death, quite literally—then your survival will depend on recalibrating your own ruthlessness to exceed his, or at barest minimum match it. This is the precise shape and nature of the battle before us. Understandable though it is that some of us still desperately seek a way to breathe life into the murdered hope of receiving humane, merciful treatment from inhuman, merciless blackguards, it is still folly—deadly folly.

The positions of the combatants are hardened, the divide clean and clear, the choice as simple as it is stark: there will be liberty, or there will be tyranny. And that, truly is ALL. The conflict between them is not new, unique, or unusual. On the contrary, this conundrum is written throughout the annals of human civilization. Rarely has the conflict been resolved without violent upheaval; never has its resolution been other than temporary.

In our human conceit, each generation presumes itself to be in control of such events. We most certainly are NOT. Properly perceived, they are not events at all but processes, all part of a historical pattern whose inevitability and terrifying immensity places itself far outside the pitiful reach of even the most powerful and perceptive of men, although they usually do play a role in its initiation. But once the process is set into motion, it very quickly swells into just too big a damned thing for mere men to direct, slow, or stop.

To reduce the issue to metaphorical terms, one could imagine not a car jouncing roughly along a rocky and sharply-curving mountain road, but a ship being violently tossed upon a heaving, storm-wracked sea. The latter is a much better fit with our current wildly-careering, unmanageable predicament, for the car is at least nominally under the control of its human driver, whereas the ship’s captain—though able to exert some small influence on his circumstances, however ineffectual—is in truth but a passenger, if not quite a helpless spectator. Whatever comforting lies to the contrary the beleagured captain may tell himself in hopes of soothing his mortal vanity, his destiny ultimately rests in King Neptune’s hands, not in his own.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings, fellas, but if y’all sincerely want to try to right this fast-foundering ship, “legal, Constitutional, nonviolent” just ain’t gonna cut it this go ’round. No “demand” you can ever make, regardless of how firm a tone you use, is going to move those Billy correctly identifies as “predatory animals” to just slink away and leave you the hell alone. Harsher, more radical measures are the only thing that will work.

To Sefton

So my very first blog-stop every day, after I’ve painfully hauled my creaky, clanky old carcass out of bed, grabbed a cuppa Joe, and lit the first smoke of the day, is always JJ Sefton’s reliably-excellent Morning Report over at the ol’ AoSHQ. As y’all no doubt know, last Thursday I did a post (“Time to wise up, dont’cha think?“) gingerly (well, for me) taking Sefton to task for this passage in that day’s edition of the MR:

Emphasis mine, because with all due respect to the author, RUFKM? We’re going to play by rules which the other side not only never does but now never needs to because the game, the stadium and the entire league has been wiped out?! Please. Let’s stop pretending. The thugs and terrorist goons of Antifa and BLM are already assaulting us in the streets while the crooked cops, DAs and judges are throwing us into political prisons just for daring to show up in public. But, that said, I think it’s crucial to still show up and vote, not so much being confident that Dao-Min Yen can’t steal the election, but that in the likely event that that happens it will just underscore the fact that America is no more and that we are being held hostage, in many ways just like the hundreds or thousands of Americans left behind in Afghanistan.

I registered my (frankly niggling) disagreement with JJ here with as much caution and reserve as I could muster—neither of those things being what anybody would call my long suit, since I never have had a whole hell of a lot of ’em to begin with—and did so with great reluctance and trepidation. I’ve been a tremendous fan of Sefton’s skillful, astute blogging since before he even came on board at the ol’ Ace Place. JJ is a damned fine writer, and in my opinion has made a valuable contribution at AoSHQ since taking up the post there. The last thing in the world I’d ever want to do would be to antagonize him, slight or insult him, or hurt him personally in any way. As I said in the post: he’s one of Our Guys, and a highly admirable and valuable one at that, one of the most indispensible players on Team Liberty’s first-string squad of heartbreakers and lifetakers.

With that mind, I published the Thursday post with no slight trepidation, although in truth I also didn’t really think it too likely that JJ would ever even see the damned thing. For one thing, there’s never yet been a link to CF from the HQ to my knowledge; honestly, I have no idea if Ace or any of the cobs over there even look in on this site at all. Which, y’know, that’s perfectly okay, I got no gripe with ’em for it. Although I rely a good bit on the HQ as a blog-fodder source, I’ve had no more than a brief and perfectly cordial email exchange or two with Ace over the years, and no such correspondence with any of the cobs. Which, too, is perfectly okay. They do their thing, I do mine. I like their work, I respect them, I check their site more than once a day. We have a great many beliefs and opinions in common, but not all of them. That’s as it should be, too. Anyone who finds himself in one hundred percent, across-the-board agreement with someone else is probably crazy as a shithouse rat, a certified headcase.

The folks over there have made AoSHQ a genuine blogosphere juggernaut, one of the biggest of the Bigs, by dint of a lot of what Heinlein called “skull sweat,” dedication, and effort. Having been on this beat myself for twenty years now almost to the very day, I know full well how much work it is, what it requires of the person doing it. Trust me, this blogging gig takes a lot more out of a fella than most who haven’t tried it probably realize— it’s way more time- and labor-intensive, more just plain exhausting, than you might think. The people at AoSHQ didn’t rise to their current lofty position by either coincidence or dumb luck, I assure you.

So in light of all of the above, imagine my surprise to see this earlier today:

Good morning, kids. Tuesday and it’s back to work and school after the long Labor Day weekend. Or at least it would be if we were living in normal times. But this is the “new normal” where we are through a glass and darkly. I don’t usually respond to criticism but in this instance I feel it will help make my point about the state of play and what it means for all of us. Mike over at Cold Fury was a bit irked with my observations on elections in a post-2020 world:

I do hate to look as if I’m jumping all over JJ here; I have tremendous respect for him, and always enjoy his posts. Thankfully, after the above-noted momentary swerve into the “Vote HARDERER!TM” ditch, he righted himself and got back on track again with those closing ‘graphs. But I declare, if I see one more of Our Guys (and Sefton surely is that) so much as bring up American “elections” again as if they still mattered as anything other than pure theater, I may just start rending my garments, tearing out what hair I have left, and swallowing my tongue over it.

It’s a fair point, because I too have on more than one occasion called out pundits, respected and otherwise, who write the most perceptive essays on where we’re at yet shit all over them in the end with exhortations to organize and/or “Vote HARDERER.” In my own defense I will chalk it up to not adequately articulating and organizing my thoughts insofar as my perception of things, so with that let me see if I can get it right. As I said, through a glass and darkly. It’s some sort of alternate reality where everything appears to function as before but it’s all wrong. Terribly wrong. For me that happened 20 years ago this week. Shock, numbness, and denial. After that comes acceptance and G-d help me if I ever feel that because I’ll have to stick my head in an oven. Assuming we haven’t banned natural gas by then.

A perfect response, in my opinion, adroitly and handsomely done. JJ goes on from there to make another point I’ve been meaning to get around to myself, but haven’t yet found time or opportunity for it:

Some people, and absolutely justifiably so, are calling for the impeachment and removal from office of Joe Biden.

The Afghanistan disaster has surely taken out what little fetid wind was left in the sails of Nancy Pelosi’s Trump-hate, January 6 committee. Instead of a Monrovian “era of good feelings,” America is having and executing a time of increasing unease over bad policy failings in every important field, ostensibly presided over by an opinionated but incoherent man approaching the last extremity of cognition adequate to hold such a great office. It cannot go on like this and it won’t.

Joe Biden is not up to the job. Barring a miracle (and they do occur sometimes), he will not go on for three-and-a-half years. The powers that be in the Democratic Party appear already to be trying to shuffle the vice president out of the deck and bring in someone who might be able to hold the commanding heights of American government through what is building up to be a broad consensus for radical changes of personnel and policy.

Aside from his blind worship of FDR which has rendered more than a few otherwise cogent essays unreadable, I really like and respect Conrad Black. But here too, the “miracle” he’s relying on is not Biden lasting until 2024, but of a leopard changing its spots. Joe Biden is merely the proverbial deck chair on the Titanic. The entire Democrat Party, and sad to say most of the GOP, are at best incompetent grifters and at worst anti-American ideologues. Even if you got rid of both parties we’re still left with the Leviathan bureaucracy – including our military – that is 100% Marxist/socialist and a seriously corrupted judiciary which is just as bad. And that’s just government. The same rot has infected our schools, private sector and even our houses of worship. I am in total agreement that some sort of miracle is required at this point. But replacing Biden and even Harris along with him, is not it.

Black, like so many people, is still under the illusion that America functions under regular order, with the rules, conventions and norms associated with them respected and followed. Canadian or not, the fact that he and so many others cannot or will not see that the USA as of last January 6th has been overthrown is troubling to say the least. Troubling but understandable. It’s human nature to not want to face that horrible, undeniable truth. Maybe that’s why I dithered or sent mixed signals about voting.

Ironically enough, I’m smack in the middle of work on a post saying almost exactly the same thing. Mine will undoubtedly be a lot wordier than his, with wild stream-of-consciousness digressions, overlooked typos, and miscellaneous other grammatical, syntatical, conceptual, and structural atrocities scattered throughout. Hey, you get what you pay for, people. Now, to the thrilling conclusion:

But there’s no denying that the enemy is doing all it can to consolidate power, control elections, flood the country with foreigners (now including unvetted Afghanis in the thousands), and continue to use a phony health “crisis” as a means to eviscerate whatever shred of the Constitution still existing. Did I mention sick a feral law enforcement and intelligence apparatus on anyone who dares object, soon to be aided and abetted by a military that can’t fight the PLA or the Taliban but has its weapons trained on the climate and “insurrectionists” but mostly average G-d fearing Americans.

So, what do we do? If you vote, they’ll steal it or otherwise create some other pretext to cancel the elections to avoid being ousted, Dao-Min Yen notwithstanding. If we don’t vote, they win automatically and declare a mandate (which is what they do win, lose or draw anyway). Do we take to the streets peacefully? That risks being arrested for insurrection. Do we do nothing? I wish I knew what to tell you. We are out of time. Either there is a mass movement of civil disobedience where people really do have to risk everything here and now or else it’s over over here. And there for 500 years as the Pox ChiCom-ica replaces the Pax Americana.

I’ve never felt so helpless, useless and hopeless in my entire life. I’m just sick and tired. Maybe I just need to eat something.

Fret not, my friend. The way things are going, NOT feeling the way you do would be something to worry about. Your reaction, though certainly discomfiting and unpleasant, is the only sane, appropriate option for any American whose moral compass and integrity remain intact and functional. The problem here ain’t with you. It’s with them—with what they’ve done, and continue to get away with doing. It’s a bona fide litany of outrage and evil so excessive, so brazen, so mind-bendingly perverse that it might make even Lucifer himself blanche and recoil in disgust. As a decent and honorable man yourself, if you weren’t positively choking from despair, gloom, and incandescent rage over the whole sordid mess, it would be an indication that there’s something seriously, seriously wrong with you.

Still ON

Despite the despotic government’s ongoing efforts to supress all information, it appears the Australian trucker’s strike might be not just holding, but actually working as planned.

Bravo. Keep on (not) truckin’, mates! May your courage and determination be an inspiration to all who would be free from tyranny and oppression.

Global update! Many more instances, more of them than you might expect, of citizen resistance to tyrants can be found here. These are REAL news stories, so of course there’s no reason whatever to think you’ll ever see Government Media “journalists” reporting any of it.

Thanks, no thanks

Better sit down for this one, folks, it really is just that shocking.

How We Lost Afghanistan
Cockburn thinks he has found the key explanation: Western elites let Afghans see what Western elite culture is like. Naturally, and inevitably, they took down their AK-47s from the wall and fought tooth and nail to prevent being assimilated into that!

I personally know quite a few folks who are fully primed and nearly ready to do the same thing right here. NYM’s brief post is by way of pointing us to this more in-depth but still concise one:

Twenty years of war in Afghanistan are over. What comes next is 20 years, or even more, of recriminations and blame for why the war ended as it did. Scholars and partisans still argue over the reasons America lost in Vietnam, so why should Afghanistan be any different?

On the plus side, the debate promises to be far more interesting. When it comes to Vietnam, partisans debate rules of engagement, bombing strategies, funding levels and the Tet Offensive. With Afghanistan, the question could be: did gender studies cause America to suffer its most humiliating defeat ever? Cockburn wishes he was joking.

Traditionally, nations have waged war by mustering armies, defeating their enemies in battle, and despoiling their lands and cities. Only after total victory is the process of remaking a society feasible.

But America in Afghanistan sought a shortcut, and by ‘shortcut’ Cockburn means ‘something that takes 10 times as long but doesn’t look as nasty for TV cameras’. America hoped that with enough half-baked social engineering in the half of Afghanistan it controlled, it would eventually be rewarded with victory, and Afghanistan would become the Holland of the Hindu Kush. On Ivy League campuses, students are taught to decry ‘colonialism’, but the Ivy League diplomats who sought to remake Afghanistan in Harvard’s image were among the most ambitious practitioners of it in world history.

So, alongside the billions for bombs went hundreds of millions for gender studies in Afghanistan. According to US government reports, $787 million was spent on gender programs in Afghanistan, but that substantially understates the actual total, since gender goals were folded into practically every undertaking America made in the country.

A recent report from the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) broke down the difficulties of the project. For starters, in both Dari and Pastho there are no words for ‘gender’. That makes sense, since the distinction between ‘sex’ and ‘gender’ was only invented by a sexually-abusive child psychiatrist in the 1960s, but evidently Americans were caught off-guard. Things didn’t improve from there. Under the US’s guidance, Afghanistan’s 2004 constitution set a 27 percent quota for women in the lower house — higher than the actual figure in America! A strategy that sometimes required having women represent provinces they had never actually been to. Remarkably, this experiment in ‘democracy’ created a government few were willing to fight for, let alone die for.

The more layers stripped off the Afghanistan onion the worse it stinks, and the more ridiculous the whole clusterfuck looks to anyone with even half a lick of sense. I mean, seriously now—can there actually be a living soul on this planet who:

  • Is capable of feeding himself without assistance
  • Can successfully dress himself
  • Understands what a flush toilet is, how to use it, and why that might be a good idea
  • Who is nonetheless dim or naive enough to think that riding the “gender” hobbyhorse so beloved of overly effete Westerners across the Khyber Pass (in a manner of speaking), down the mountains, and directly into a clutch of some of the most vicious, benighted, and ardent Muzzrat primordials currently extant was ever going to accomplish a damned thing, apart from getting their blood-simple asses shot out of the saddle

Of course, as damned-nigh impossible as it is to believe, the answer is Yes. Yes, they really ARE that stupid. Our self-declared Elite masters seem to be quite proud of being abject morons; they must be, strutting around like peacocks as they do after each new failure or fiasco; quacking on and on as if they hadn’t just stepped in yet another steaming pile of their own dung, or as if no one saw them do it.

The rogue facade they built over the face of a once-legitimate US government displaced by their machinations is shot through with utter, blank stupidity, on exhibit in its every department, office, and bureau. The evidence of this stupidity is voluminous, ubiquitous, and continually mounting. It proclaims its presence with every blustering politician’s gaseous windbaggery; every unlawful, unworkable, and redundant edict; every heedlessly squandered taxpayer dollar; every empty, disingenuous claim to cherish “principles” or “values” they routinely disgrace, and are in reality contemptuous of.

So why do I say all the above is stupid? Because these mountebanks, these grifters, these preening fucking muttonheads are unswervingly convinced that their subjects all adore, respect, and trust them. Their faith in their ability to pull the wool over our eyes again and again, and to keep it there indefinitely, is absolute. If they only knew the truth: we aren’t even listening to them anymore.

Maybe we ought to set ’em straight about that, eh? And soon, too. They’d certainly profit from a good, stiff dose of enlightening, before they’ve screwed things up beyond repair.

High crimes and misdemeanors redux

More on that eminently impeachable phone call, wherein Biden implored the imminently to be Impeached The Hard Way poobah of Shitholistan to lie for purposes of saving Faux Jaux’s crooked ass.

No, things weren’t going well, three weeks after the US abandoned Bagram Airfield in the dead of night.

Biden’s solution was to create the “perception” that all was fine. He wanted to keep the illusion going long enough to cover his Aug. 31 self-imposed deadline to withdraw US troops and have a victory lap on September 11th, when he would preen as the first president to end the forever war.

So he asked Ghani to trick up an event to make it look as if he had a plan to push back on the Taliban to reassure America’s allies who were beginning to question Biden’s timetable.

“I don’t know whether you’re aware,” said Biden, “just how much the perception around the world is that this is looking like a losing proposition…so the conclusion I’m asking you to consider is to bring together everyone from [ex-Afghan Vice President Abdul Rashid] Dostum, to [ex-President Hamid] Karzai and in between. If they stand there and say they back the strategy you put together, and put a warrior in charge, you know a military man…in charge of executing that strategy, and that will change perception.”

Ghani tried to explain that the situation was dire: “Mr. President, we are facing a full-scale invasion, composed of Taliban, full Pakistani planning and logistical support, and at least 10-15,000 international terrorists.”

He begged for US air support. “What is crucial is, close air support…a very heavy reliance on air power.”

The Afghan army was based on the US model, which relies on air support for enemy strikes, ferrying the wounded, and so on. But the contractors who serviced Afghan aircraft had left, leaving the Afghan army exposed.

Ghani could see the writing on the wall, and fled Kabul three weeks later.

With an airframe-stressing, engine-groaning, rotor-blade-bending chopper-load of ill-gotten US gelt, do note.

Afghan President Ashraf Ghani fled the country with four vehicles and a helicopter full of cash, the Russian embassy in Kabul said Monday.

The embattled leader left the presidential palace in Kabul on Sunday to the insurgent Taliban fighters who had toppled his government.

The former World Bank academic — who holds a doctorate from New York City’s Columbia University — didn’t say where he was going, but Al Jazeera reported later that he had flown to Uzbekistan.

“As for the collapse of the (outgoing) regime, it is most eloquently characterized by the way Ghani fled Afghanistan,” Nikita Ishchenko, a Russian embassy spokesman in Kabul, was quoted as saying by Russian state-owned news outlet RIA, Reuters reported.

“Four cars were full of money, they tried to stuff another part of the money into a helicopter, but not all of it fit. And some of the money was left lying on the tarmac,” Ishchenko was quoted as saying.

Rumors that Ghani and his chaffeurs were laughing raucously, waving insulting and obscene hand gestures to those stranded on the ground, and shouting “So long, Joe, and thanks for all the fish!” from the open side doors of the purloined helicopter are impossible to confirm at this time. No confirmation, either, that the theme from the Benny Hill Show (Boots Randolph’s rollicking classic Yakety Sax) was blaring from loudspeakers bolted to the Blackhawk’s minigun mounts as celebratory background music. Now, back to the first piece.

This wilful naiveté of Biden and his urbane secretary of State, Antony Blinken, was designed to provide plausible deniability when everything went wrong in Afghanistan, as they knew it would. Their only mistake was thinking Ghani and his army would hang around until September 11th.

Biden’s defiant speech Tuesday was an attempt to bluster through with another fantasy — that our Afghanistan surrender was a success.
We’re supposed to pretend the Taliban is not taunting us with mock funerals or staging parades with some of the billions of dollars worth of Humvees and Black Hawks and weapons we gifted them.

We’re meant to overlook the 13 flag-draped coffins that were flown home to Dover Air Force Base on Sunday.

The president probably thinks the lies will keep working since his presidential campaign was such a triumph of perception over reality. Democrats pretended that he was a candidate of sound mind and good character whose empathy, integrity and foreign-policy expertise would restore America’s soul.

They got away with it only because the media and Big Tech conspired to fool the American people.

But a new Rasmussen poll shows that voters no longer buy the delusion — a majority think Biden should resign over the Afghanistan debacle. The problem is most don’t think VP Kamala Harris is qualified to replace him.

And that is our predicament for the next three years.

Wanna bet? Because from where I sit, it’s looking more and more like the bufoonish pRetend pResident might well be nearing the end of his disastrous run, one way or another.

A method to the madness

Never attribute to malice what can be explained by sheer stupidity. Except on those occasions when it’s actually both.

Yet when confronted with states organizing in blocs to execute tasks reserved to itself — the so-called “Western States Pact” comes to mind, as do the various states sending forces to the U.S.-Mexico border — the federal government seems strangely passive and inert. Perhaps that’s to the good.

It’s tempting to look at unforced errors like this in isolation, just one episode among many. We shouldn’t. The truth is that Afghanistan is part of a larger pattern. Pull the camera back a bit, and the picture becomes more disturbing than even the grim images from Kabul’s beleaguered airport. The incompetence on display in that country is just the latest episode of blundering from a federal government that increasingly cannot do anything it should.

It’s the inevitable end stage of a federal government forever extending its reach to do much more than it should, including many things it is specifically forbidden to do, thereby increasing its own scope, wealth, and power. The irony is that eventually, the monstrous greed and egocentrism driving the actions of over-ambitious despots is also the very thing that dooms them before all is said and done—a cycle that has repeated itself so reliably throughout the history of human civilization as to make one suspect it may be encoded in our DNA somewhere. I repeat: He who tries to control everything, controls nothing.

The national government as envisioned and established by the American Founders has just one purpose, succinctly set forth in the Declaration of Independence: “to secure these rights.” Since then, Americans have come to expect federal governance in Washington, D.C., to fulfill an array of roles. For most of American history, it did a credible job of meeting those expectations. Americans of my parents’ generation, for example, reasonably expected the federal government to successfully defend them from enemies abroad and secure law and order at home. They expected it to meet the challenge of public health crises, and run an efficient immigration system. They expected it to assert a monopoly on national authority, and to promote and defend a common American civic narrative.

Which is precisely the point at which things began to unravel. As the American Sheeple grew softer and more complacent, they lost the thread of the Founders’ vision completely. The clamor for ever-more perks and “protections” bestowed by Mommy Government opened a door that ought to have remained securely closed and locked, thus offering our would-be masters all the invitation they’d ever need to insinuate the tentacles of tyranny into every nook, cranny, and corner of American life.

They expected these things because it routinely delivered on those expectations. No longer. Suddenly, catastrophically, the recent past reveals that the federal government in Washington D.C. cannot be relied upon to do any of these things.

It’s a shocking realization for Americans who grew up secure in the promise of American governance. It’s less shocking for those of us who have been watching the erosion of civic order for some time. For the past half-century, the defining phenomenon of American civics has been the collapse of institutional trust. Americans who used to believe in the mediating institutions of society, from the presidency to the Elks Club to the U.S. Postal Service to organized religion and beyond, no longer do. That isn’t because the people have failed the institutions. It’s the other way around. The only institution that survived the generational collapse in popular trust was the military. It remains to be seen whether the blundering end to the Afghanistan war changes that. My guess is Americans will continue to respect and admire the men and women who choose to serve — and cast an increasingly skeptical eye on a class of generals and admirals who haven’t delivered a definitive American wartime victory in over 30 years.

In the 1926 novel The Sun Also Rises, Hemingway has Bill Gorton ask Mike Campbell how he went bankrupt. “Two ways,” comes the answer, “Gradually and then suddenly.” The diminishment to impotence of the federal government is like that. We’re in the “suddenly” phase now. One moment you’re a citizen of a well-running republic. The next moment you see that the federal government seems unable to fulfill its most basic responsibilities. Confronted with aggressive attacks on the common civic narrative that is the prerequisite for any national existence, it can’t seem to do anything but capitulate to the attackers. Confronted with the very same people who attacked America on 9/11, it can’t seem to figure out how to avoid yet another humiliation at their hands.

If the federal government can’t win a war, can’t preserve law and order, can’t secure its own seat of governance, can’t control the border, and can’t defend the idea of America, then what can it do? Well, it can collect taxes. It can also guarantee lucrative employment for a class of elite mediocrities who will never endure consequences for their growing list of failures. As I write this, the president is reported to have refused to fire anyone for the Afghanistan disaster. That isn’t because the buck stops with him; sacking someone would just be, as Axios reports, “tantamount to admitting a mistake.”

It’s hard to blame President Biden. If the administration admits one mistake, where will it end? Its list of mistakes is long, and acknowledging them all would constitute an existential threat.

Ahh, but can we be entirely certain that they really ARE mistakes? Or mightn’t there be something bigger, more complex, more sinister going on here?

If you take the time to piece together the puzzle, you begin to see a very disturbing picture. In seven short months, the Biden administration hasn’t only, via policy and executive decisions, precipitated a dire crisis on the U.S. southern border and an unforced debacle in Afghanistan — the latter with dark strategic implications vis-à-vis the PRC, Russia, Iran, and North Korea, along with an anticipated resurgence in terrorism but appears to seek to break the American spirit.

The picture emerging strongly suggests that demoralizing Americans isn’t merely a consequence of bad policies, poor decision-making, and incompetence.

We know this: control requires submission. Saul Alinsky summed up the argument for demoralization to achieve control: “Rule 3: Whenever possible, go outside the experience of an opponent. Here you want to cause confusion, fear, and retreat.”

In a nation of 330 million souls, accustomed as a birthright to independence, submission must be exacted through the threat or use of force and through the enervation of spirit. A beaten-down people are an acquiescent people. Go ask Russians — those still living who endured the Soviet era and who suffer under Putin’s authoritarianism.

As to the continuing disaster and humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan, when has a U.S. president abandoned countrymen to fates that will surely involve imprisonment, torture, and death at the hands of an enemy? Including Afghani loyalists, the scope of the depravity and carnage to come will be mind-numbing.

Biden has rendered our world-class military impotent in Afghanistan. This imposed feebleness is bad enough, but it sends another message to Americans: “The United States is no longer the world’s dominant power. We’re capitulating to an irregular army of mostly Pashtun tribesmen.  We must accept their terms and abide by their directives. The vanquished must submit.”

Which brings us back to a people’s submission. That’s indeed a goal of the elites who underwrite the Democratic Party, the left that provides votes and muscle, and the establishment players who profit from it. It’s easier to conquer the downtrodden.

Whether or not this sinister Biden-fronted coalition succeeds is in our hands — the hands of tens of millions of patriotic Americans. Our spirits can only break if we allow it. Unbroken, we can — we must — defeat this gathering tyranny.

Indeed we can, and must. The very first step along the road back to reclaiming our lost liberty and natural rights, however, is a blunt acknowledgment that it will never—CAN never—be achieved via political, legal, or rhetorical methods alone. In truth, it will mean fighting. And, as the world’s foremost cavalryman famously said, fighting means killing.
