Miguel GFZ takes a look at the ugly, trying days to come.
59% of Democrats polled directly support a military coup d’etat with an extra13% not giving a shit if it happens. That is a total of 72% of D-Assholes willing to burn the ship they are riding (and us) as long as the captain dies. They are willing to kill America both the idea and the people.
And that is enough for you to understand why so many of them are voting Socialist/Communist.
I have been thinking and mulling about this for a while now and I just did not want to openly talk about it, but I believe a very uncivil war will happen sooner than I wish, and we will end up stacking bodies in town squares everywhere because they will do the same to us if we let them.
You will be asked to stop being polite or let politeness be engraved in your tombstone as reason you are no longer breathing.
My thoughts as well. Sure, the prospect of strife, bloodshed, and (un)civil war is indeed horrific beyond comprehension. BUT…the veritable certainty that we’ll end up subjugated, imprisoned, and murdered in job lots by a Communist dictatorship run by the current crop of mentally deranged “liberal” psychos is no less scarifying. They are now openly saying this is what they want to do; as with the jihadis, we really need to take them at their word, not just shrug off their openly-avowed intentions.
What with so many putative Reich-wingers preemptively, obsequiously foreswearing any and every act of violent resistance in defense of American liberty (whatever miserable shreds and tatters are left of it that we haven’t long since given up, that is), it seems that the original valiant, indomitable spirit of our Founding Fathers has been forever lost—rather, willfully abandoned.
As for the poll results Miguel discusses above, I can’t help but be put in mind of Grant’s sharpish riposte to his ranking subordinates who were in dread of the next breakout ass-whupping they were about to get from Lee which, to them, seemed as certain as tomorrow’s sunrise:
Oh, I am heartily tired of hearing about what Lee is going to do. Some of you always seem to think he is suddenly going to turn a double somersault, and land in our rear and on both of our flanks at the same time. Go back to your command, and try to think what are we going to do ourselves, instead of what Lee is going to do.
Probably the wisest, best pre-battle advice ever offered to any group of increasingly timorous, drubbing-conditioned field-rank officers, I’d say. In the end, Grant prevailed over one of the most able Generals of all time, as we all know, not so much because of his brilliant generalship and/or tactical acumen, but more because of his own iron will, dogged determination, and plain old guts.
Grant, Lee, Longstreet, Sherman, Jackson, and before them Washington, Nathanael Green, the wily “Swamp Fox” Francis Marion—these men are every natural-born Amercan patriot’s heritage, his proud, legitimate ancestral birthright—not the pusillanimous, cross-dressing, scrotum-licking pussies of the Repugnant Left. Hopefully, we’ll all remember, reclaim, and renew that sacred inheritance ere the end.

The primary reason we have not already begun an uncivil war is simple – we have the weapons needed to defend ourselves. Their side is afraid, their side will try to use the law to stomp a few, but in the end, until they get the guns from our hands, there will be no war. And that is not going to happen.
Let me just say this. The backup and dramatic rise in yields of the bond market makes no sense.
Highest yields on US bonds in TWENTY FOUR YEARS?
With 3.4% inflation? When Biteme had 9% levels of inflation and promised, and delivered even HIGHER oil prices.
There is absolutely no justification for bond yields on the 2-10 year UST bonds to have risen 120-130 basis points (that’s 1.20% to 1.30% ex the 2 year went from 3.5% to 4.85% year to date).
The Fed is really going to have to raise rates that high in the next two years?
Something very wrong is going on here because nothing in finance or economics would justify those rate expectations…
“because nothing in finance or economics would justify”
StopTrump would…
Why did the Fed raise rates? It’s not to stop inflation that is the result of a temporary spike in oil prices, prices that they engineereed and that they know will be back down after the election.
It’s ALL, every bit of it, an effort to STOPTRUMP.
Of course I know you know 🙂 It is rather amazing to me the number of people that have no clue what is going on. No clue.
