The echoes are getting louder

Like the man says:

The Kristallnacht othering of people can cut both ways. And it should. It’s probably time the Vaxxholes found that out, personally. And I’m totally not responsible if someone spray paints a swastika over the word “Vaxxhole!” on anyone’s ride. The “Just following orders…” crowd needs to feel the pain as much as the ones pulling the strings at the top, and their staff cars should be properly marked. Tyranny gets a lot less fun that way, don’cha think? By all means, make them own it.

The hardcore Nazis will require something a bit more kinetic to get their attention. But every little bit helps.

And let no one alive ever say again, “I can’t understand how Nazi Germany happened.”

Now you know.

We always did, really. It’s just that some of us need to have their memories refreshed. Which we should do right away, using any and all means necessary to ensure the job is done.

Tell ’em NO

To the planned Afghani “refugee” Immivasion.

The same people who tried to morally blackmail you into supporting a failed Forever War in Afghanistan—the ones who declared that you were either on board with the new international interventionist imperative or you were with the terrorists—are now trying to morally blackmail you into supporting open borders with Afghanistan and every other country that America’s incompetent elites thought they could turn into Stepford if only they invaded it hard enough. In truth, the entire foundation of the Washington establishment’s failed foreign policy is its members’ own feelings of guilt.

They felt guilty that Afghanistan looked like an awful place to live, so they set about rebuilding the country in their own image, complete with gender equity courses and lectures on how the predominantly Muslim citizens of the country need to be more like their secular Western counterparts.

They felt guilty about what they spent 20 years doing in Afghanistan—falsely offering hope of an eternal American safety net, constructed and maintained not with their own blood, sweat, and tears, but with those of enlisted American military men and women scoffed at and mocked by the smart set—so you must accept the risk posed by a terrorist who pretended to be a refugee to get across the nation’s increasingly non-existent southern border.

They feel guilty about their wealth and privilege (not guilty enough to give that wealth or privilege to anyone else, of course), so you must accept the lower wages that are the obvious result of inflating the labor supply while depressing demand through job-crushing progressive economic policy.

These concerns about the runaway costs of interventionism, however, are based firmly in reality. Take the story of an Afghan interpreter told in “Outlaw Platoon,” the spectacular war memoir by Sean Parnell, who served as a combat platoon leader in one of the most violent parts of Afghanistan.

In his book, Parnell details how one of the Afghan interpreters in his platoon, a man who had been thoroughly “vetted” and given access to some of the Army’s closest held secrets, helped engineer an improvised explosive attack that killed one of Parnell’s troops, Cpl. Jeremiah S. Cole, and seriously injured four others. That interpreter, who went by the name Yusef, also arranged for the murder of his counterpart Abdul so Yusef would have total access to all sensitive information, such as troop movements and attack plans, which he then passed along to America’s enemies.

“Knowing where Abdul had been going and the road he had used to get there, Yusef’s tip had allowed the insurgents to establish an ambush in time to catch Abdul on his way back to Bermel from his family’s house,” Parnell writes. “With Abdul dead, Yusef knew he would be promoted to head interpreter.”

“We’d gone through our year in country, judging these Afghans through the prism of our own value systems, never fully grasping what we were up against,” Parnell concluded.

Earlier this week, Parnell shared that story on Tucker Carlson’s primetime show on Fox News. Media Matters immediately responded by slicing and dicing the transcript of Parnell’s appearance to smear him as a racist for believing, based on his own personal experience with a vetted Afghan who murdered one of his brothers in arms, that America could not properly vet the thousands of Afghans wishing to immigrate to America.

This is but one story of literally millions from around the Western world, of course. Unfortunately, the Immivasion has already begun, thanks to the conniving US goobermint.

See what I meant when I mentioned priorities in the preceding post? More:

Press propagandists, government bureaucrats, and pro migrant wave activists have continued to claim that virtually all of the Afghans being imported into the United States are akin to “fully vetted” Medal of Honor recipients. These tens of thousands of Afghans are a cadre of patriotic war heroes that “helped us” in our “war on terror,” we’re told. Therefore, they are somehow immediately entitled to permanent relocation into the United States.

And this isn’t a new policy push. For several years, lawmakers have been passing massive funding in Congress to relocate Afghans to the United States on “special immigrant visas,” which entitles them to access the U.S. social welfare system immediately and in perpetuity. It also allows Afghans to avoid deportation under almost any circumstances.

While the migration wave proponents tell us that almost every Afghan is the equivalent of a “fully vetted” Captain America who remained true to the U.S. mission in the country (whatever that actually was still remains unclear), reality tells us a much more grave tale. During the 20 year war, American soldiers have been repeatedly targeted with “green-on-blue” attacks, in which supposedly vetted, trusted Afghan allies turned their US-supplied weapons against our troops.

Hundreds of American service members have been killed and wounded by Afghan army soldiers, who “helped us,” until they didn’t. After cutting a deal with the jihadists, these outwardly allied troops turned their guns on U.S. forces in Afghanistan, repeatedly and consistently.

Why is the Afghan migrant wave so U.S. centric this time around? Well, the European continent is understandably balking at the idea of taking in more Afghans. The 2014-2015 Afghan migration wave into Europe resulted in a massive uptick in criminal activity.

In Germany, which absorbed a 6-figure tally of Afghan migrants and refugees, Afghans stood out as the most frequent perpetrators of gang violence and sexual assault. Now, following the unprecedented violence committed by Afghan migrants, six EU nations are fighting to deport them back to their homeland, even despite the chaos unfolding in their home country.

The massive Afghan migration wave that is coming to the United States will represent a more grave threat to our homeland security than anything that will have occurred over the course of 20 years in the far away lands of Afghanistan.

Indeed it will.

Folks, we now stand at one of those recurring historical pivot-points, or crossroads; the fate of the nation, quite literally, hangs upon which path we choose. If that sounds as if I’m callously advocating for the Biden Bugout to be exploited for political gain…well, yeah, that’s exactly what I’m doing. If it seems a bit cynical and opportunistic about this…well, guilty as charged. If you’re worried that the Left will try to weaponize what they’ll decry as “heartless,” “racist,” and/or “selfish” and turn a perfectly reasonable and rational opposition to the importation of hordes of unvetted, unassimilable “refugees” against us…well, of course they will. There’s only one sane response to such moral blackmail. Back over to Davis to spell out what it is.

Like one of those old magic eye posters that contained images hidden among visual white noise, once you see the American ruling elite’s reflex to resort to moral blackmail to win an argument, you can never unsee it. Every policy, every argument, every talking point asserts that you are a racist and a bad person if you believe America’s government should first and foremost protect American citizens. This is a fun game for the failed foreign policy establishment, because they reap all the benefits of using Americans’ blood and money to pump up their self-esteem while bearing precisely none of the costs.

One of the primary reasons this cadre of credentialed incompetents loathed former president Donald Trump is because, as a secular, thrice-married New York billionaire, he was impervious to the moral blackmail that had worked like a charm on everyone else for over a decade. He didn’t much care if they called him racist for wanting to secure the border and put an end to open borders. He didn’t care if they called him heartless for wanting to shut down immigration from “sh-thole countries” to preserve the wages of American workers. And he didn’t care if they called him stupid for refusing to go along with their plans for forever wars all around the globe.

For a time, America had a president who wouldn’t be bullied into doing things that weren’t in America’s national security interests. They hated him for it, and it’s why they spent every waking moment for four years, including two impeachments, desperately trying to throw him out of office.

Moral blackmail only works when the target cares what the blackmailer thinks about him. America’s interventionist elites have publicly failed in the most spectacular way possible, with the evidence of their failures playing on repeat on television for all the world to see.

Breaking their hold on power from here on out is simple: stop caring what they think, and stop caring what they say about you. Their ideas are disastrous and their rhetoric—that anyone who disagrees with them is a racist traitor—is toxic in a society built on free expression. The architects of the nation-building policies from Afghanistan to Iraq are failures and should be treated with the same disdain reserved for flat earthers or bloodletters.

Do you want to prevent the next Iraq or Afghanistan or Libya or Syria from being foisted on the American public at the cost of who knows how many decades, lives, or trillions of dollars? Stop giving them an inch. Stop kowtowing to their moral blackmail. Start telling them no.

Precisely. But that’s only the first step. There are others we’ll have to take, much more drastic and dark ones. But as with any journey, this first step is an absolute must. Because if it isn’t taken, the nation will be irrecoverably lost, and all those other steps will be no more than what-ifs, to be looked back on with regret.

A culture of faith and force

When it clashes—as it inevitably must—with a culture bereft of either and wildly, reflexively averse to both, guess who comes out the winner every time?

Here’s a story about CENTCOM Commander Gen. Frank McKenzie meeting with the heads of the bloody subhumans comprising Taliban, at Doha, in order to beg permission to scuttle out of Kabul without, at best, his people getting their asses chewed off by AAA-fire before the landing gear is in the wells.

That’s where that all is, now.

The second video clip on the page is among the most harrowing that I’ve seen in the whole catastrophe, so far. I can see everything implicit in a scene of illiterate Southwest Asian peasants running alongside and climbing, where they can, onto a C-117 heavy-lift jet airplane, cheering it along a taxiway like some uncanny burden-beast in an appearance in the village festival parade.

We’re talking about the pre-scientific mind. Their leaders have for generations suppressed and overthrown every approach to modern life, all of which is born and borne in the West. Everything they have that’s modern, came from the minds and work of people the like of which they have never raised.

Now, they have fallen to the ravages of this murderously anti-human scourge, the Taliban, among whose stated intents is to bring the whole world under their blade. It’s awful to see anyone driven to such abject mortal terror. Among the recurring attractions of my eye in watching various Kabul videos is the children, almost always holding tightly to an adult hand, illustrating the last shred of trust that someone is going to do something to make everyone stop running and screaming.

This is a very old culture of faith and force, virtually untouched by the attributes of reason which are an essential characteristic of the Western mind, except in various expedient mimicries: they can machine an AK-47 right there in front of their hut, but they’re not interested to work-up what it takes to invent something like that and everything that goes into genuine industry of anything on a national scale.

Their sketch of “government” is Victorian, at best, foggily-lensed as a sort-of cargo-cult apprehension of form and baksheesh in practice — at worst, it’s plainly medieval and it’s about to get medievaler.

For now, the world is just going to have to suffer this one. This; on top of twenty years of America doing its own suffering at just living with a constant state of war so sublime that it takes something like the past forty-eight hours of Afghanistan for even CENTCOM to finally take it seriously as it really is. The imaginable horrors awaiting that place harrow up the soul.

Just imagine the horrors awaiting US, once we’ve upped the importation of these primordials to, say, Merkelian standards.

It’s Billy Beck talking, so you know what you must do, Glasshoppa.

It could NEVER happen here

It already is, of course. Oz is about fifteen-twenty minutes ahead of us on this, that’s all.

Travelers visiting or returning to Australia will have to quarantine for 14 days at their own expense. Quarantine camps are going up around Australia and to little surprise. Australia has seen massive riots, protesting draconian lockdown measures. The Australian military has been brought in and is going door-to-door to make sure people are obeying lockdown orders.

Follows, a Tweet featuring a 12 year old child being pepper-sprayed by Australian Stasi goons. A dangerous White Supremacist revolutionary insurgent, no doubt. Then, another with New South Wales Gestapo head David Elliott declaring it every “patriotic” Aussie’s duty to rat out any of their family, friends, neighbors, or casual acquaintances who might be considering committing a Crime Against the Reich by attending a protest of any sort. And then we down to to the meat, potatoes, and curdled gravy.

Australia has begun construction on their second COVID-19 quarantine camp, deceptively called “Melbourne’s Centre for National Resilience.” It’s down the road from Melbourne Airport, known locally as Tullamarine Airport, which serves the city of Melbourne, and is Australia’s second-busiest airport.

Fear-O-Rama! New Zealand recently locked down after one suspected case of COVID.

The 1,000-bed quarantine facility will be finished by the end of the year but will be operational as soon as it can accommodate 500 beds. It will have the ability to add room for an additional 3,000 beds if needed.

The holding pen is being modeled on the Howard Springs Centre for National Resilience. Australian authorities have found that quarantine camps are more successful than hotels, many of which were found to have substandard ventilation. Australian authorities claim high viral loads have caused “COVID leakage,” which resulted in the government declaring a stage-four lockdown of 6 million people in the Australian state of Victoria. Only three of 19 hotels considered as possible quarantine quarters were equipped with the necessary ventilation.

Local residents called for and were granted a community briefing session, which was held last week. Discussion topics included how such a facility will affect real-estate prices and the fear of COVID escaping into the community. The camp is roughly half a mile from the closest neighborhood.

The locals were assured the camp would follow the highest infection-control standards, set by the Howard Springs facility, and that the staff will be fully vaccinated. The workers will also be unable to work second jobs.

When asked why locals weren’t informed there was a camp being built in their community, the Victoria Premier Daniel Andrews (the Aussie equivalent of a state governor) responded by saying, “We want the community to know what’s going on there, we want the community to be part of that program and that process, but we’ve got to get this built.

“There’s much greater risk to people across Victoria, Mickleham included, by having thousands of people in hotels that are not built to quarantine them,” he added. “That’s the site that’s been chosen and everyone, including locals, will be better off because of that.”

In other words, he dodged the question.

Of course. But what he also did was remind the serfs of their proper place in the grand scheme of things:

  • Know your role
  • Shut your hole
  • Do NOT question Authority
  • Submit and Obey
  • Hey, remember the days before tyranny took root and spread like a toxic weed, when the people of the West threw around now-phantasmagorical terms like “the Free World” and such with great pride? Nah, me neither.

“The Afghanistan Exit Debacle: Incompetence, Distraction Or Something More Sinister?”

At this point, after seeing all we’ve seen, I gotta go with “sinister.”

My first instinct has been to ignore the circus surrounding Biden’s apparent bungle of the troop exit from Afghanistan, primarily because I think it distracts from the much bigger danger of despotic covid mandates and vaccine passports that Biden and his handlers are trying to push forward right now on our home soil. That said, I have received numerous requests from readers to discuss the situation and I’ve found certain aspects of the pull-out rather suspicious. The basic assumption here is that Biden is senile and his handling of the exit is tainted by his stupidity, but maybe there is more to this than meets the eye…

First, I think it’s important to dispel a propaganda narrative being circulated by the media that conservatives are somehow calling for troops to stay in Afghanistan by criticizing Biden’s exit strategy. This is typical leftist gaslighting. One can be in favor of a troop draw-down and still be critical of Biden’s handling of it. Frankly, the US should have been out of Afghanistan several years ago; I don’t think that it’s too much to ask that there be a concrete plan in place to mitigate damage to those people who relied on our presence to protect them from the Taliban.

It was Barack Obama who first promised an exit from Afghanistan by 2014 while claiming that the “combat mission was over.” This of course never happened and the political left ignored Obama’s deception in favor of the progressive savior narrative.

To be fair, the Trump Administration did the same exact thing, platforming the idea of a major draw-down or a full exit and then instituting troop surges instead, but at least conservatives were far more critical of his backpedaling. Trump finally committed to troop reductions in 2020, with most of the assets relocated AFTER the November election, leaving 2500 military personnel in Afghanistan along with 17,000 private contractors.

The real shock has been the speed of Biden’s exit agenda after Trump had already removed the bulk of US troops. This rapid draw-down has included cutting almost all US troops and cutting private contractor numbers by at least 60%, and all of this has been undertaken in the span of a few months. This has allowed the Taliban to overrun the last secure provinces surrounding the capital of Kabul and then overrun Kabul itself. A panic has ensued among Afghan citizens with anti-Taliban sentiments, and it’s hitting a fever pitch with hundreds of thousands looking for any way to escape.

It has been the common practice of multiple US administrations to pay lip service to public concerns over the endless war in Afghanistan, telling people an exit is imminent, then shrugging their shoulders when they are caught lying. It has become so formulaic that I think Americans have been conditioned to expect we would never actually leave the country; that the false promises would go on perpetually. Perhaps that’s why Biden’s rushed and haphazard removal of troops from the region over the span of mere months feels so bizarre.

Biden apologists would make the argument that the gibbering commander-in-chief has given us exactly what we wanted, so we should be applauding him. However, the chaotic manner in which Biden is executing the troop draw-down is increasingly suspect. It feels more like a desperate retreat in the face of an overwhelming attack, rather than a controlled exit with a defensive plan in the face of a limited insurgency. Or, even more disturbing, it feels like Biden needs those troops and resources elsewhere and in a hurry – but where are the troops needed and why?

    Three guesses, first two etc.

It needs to be understood that the US was NEVER going to “win” the war in Afghanistan. An orthodox military strategy is rarely going to succeed against a long term insurgency using asymmetric tactics. It does not matter how technologically advanced that military might be; it does not matter how many planes, tanks, and drones they might have. Eventually over time they WILL lose by pure attrition in the face of a guerrilla resistance.

It needs to be remembered, too. It will be on the test later. So to speak.

I’m not buying the “Biden is incompetent” story because it is too simplistic and it doesn’t take the bigger picture into account. Biden is a muppet, a mascot, a front-man for the public to love or hate, and that’s all he is. Yes, he can barely read from a teleprompter, but it’s his puppeteers that make the big decisions, not Biden. They are evil people, but not incompetent.

So we have to ask some important questions: Why now? And, who benefits? After decades of presidents lying to us about “mission accomplished” and impending troop exits, why is Biden suddenly committing to an exit strategy in the most hysterical way possible?

Why did the Biden Admin choose September 11th as the end date for the troop exit? It’s certainly symbolic of further US failure and defeat, but is it also symbolic of a new phase in the establishment’s plans for the US as a whole? Is there another major event like 9/11 or larger on the way, and is the sudden exit from Afghanistan in preparation for that event?

As I mentioned, there are scenes here that remind me of Vietnam, but I am also reminded of Benghazi – There is a rotten smell to this event, as if the goal is to deliberately spark an inferno to hide another motive in smoke.

To be sure, the insanity in Afghanistan is quite a distraction away from the implementation of vaccine passports and other illegal mandates in the US, with an increasing number of corporations and city and state governments trying to enforce them. The DHS has just released a statement indicating that anyone who refuses to submit to restrictions and the experimental mRNA vaccines “might” be a potential terrorist. They are even entertaining the idea of interstate restrictions on travel for unvaccinated people, which is something I have been predicting for the past year and it is an action that’s on the top of my list of items that will trigger civil war.

Everything those of us in the alternative media have warned about over the past 18 months in terms of medical tyranny is coming true. It’s not “conspiracy theory”, it’s conspiracy reality.

The Biden Admin will certainly try to announce vaccine passport requirements at the federal level in the near future. Is the plan to bring US troops and maybe even private contractors home to the US to help enforce illegal directives through martial law? There is a high probability of a soft secession of red states and counties if the mandate farce continues. With US troops being majority conservative there is the hope that they will not comply and that they have no interest in fighting yet another insurgency made up of their own people. We will have to wait and see.

The nice thing about that is, what with however many grim-faced warfighters may still be left in our New LGBTQZRXPIALIDOCIOUS Army now driven to purple-faced rage by the Biden Betrayal, the idea of those troops coming over to the side of American Righteousness en masse in such a conflict is nowhere near as far-fetched as it might have been only a couple-three weeks ago. As I’ve always maintained, Leftism always carries the seeds of its own destruction within itself, awaiting the chance to take root and blossom. By so stupidly alienating the very force they must rely on to suppress Team Liberty, the Moron Left could very well end up providing the real-world proof of concept for that idea.

A real no-shitter of an AAR

    STRONG message follows.

Some of you Afghan Veterans out there are hurting, trying to make sense of what this all means. Including some of my peers, who are not immune to the feel bads coming out of this clusterfuck. So allow me to give you a different perspective, one that will perhaps sooth the pain a bit. I shoot straight, and this isn’t all sunshine and roses. There is going to be some Grim Dark up front. But it does have a silver lining, hear me out.

Was this a foolish mission to start with? Yes. The only way to decisively win in Afghanistan was full scale genocide, which we knew from about 2003 forward. We don’t have the stomach for that, and that is probably a good thing.

Nah, not so much. All’s we ever had to do—ever SHOULD have done—is hew closely to LeMay’s Maxim, a man who very much knew whereof he spoke when it came to waging war: If you kill enough of them, they stop fighting.

Did we lose? Yeah, goddamn right we lost. Let’s just get that out of the way now, like ripping off a band aid. Do not get out the “ We were winning when I left” hats and slap a Ghan flag on them. Face the facts, and then act. If the goal 20 years ago was to remove the Taliban, and now the Taliban is back 100% in control without even requiring a name change, then the objective was not met.

Is it your fault? No. The failure here, while stunning, rests on the political class and the Generals. So like I said, the political class. Who, exactly, do you think lost this war? You, out slogging the mountains, and mowing down Taliban fighters with a machine gun, and surviving on fish sticks and MRE crackers at the firebase, and winning EVERY tactical level engagement for 20 years? Or the spineless General who didn’t hear a gun shot despite 9 tours, who was the architect of the grand strategy, and spent his time quite literally getting his dick sucked by his biographer in his office at Bagram instead of trying to win?

We can safely say at this point that the real goal in Afghanistan was a transfer of wealth from the tax payers to the MIC ( Military Industrial Complex) and the politicians they bought with the profits. $88 billion dollars ( for the ANA alone) is a staggering figure. For that much money, you could have paid half of Afghanistan to kill the other half. You could have paid China or India or even Pakistan to do it for you. That money was wasted, and we all knew that well over a decade ago.

Afghanistan should never have been anything except a punitive expedition. We should have left in 2004, 2006, 2007, or ten minutes after Osama Bin Laden died. Any one of those would have been a leave with honor type situation. Instead, we opted to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and look like incompetent boobs to the entire planet. I should say, our Generals and Politicians opted for that. Almost like that was the goal………

The idea of spending 2.2 trillion dollars to “export our way of life” to cavemen is retarded, and anyone with an ounce of sense knows that. I often said that giving the Ghans a Jeffersonian Democracy was a fool’s errand, since we could barely keep one functioning ourselves. Post Nov 4th, 2020, we know that “barely functioning” wasn’t true either. The idea of the US Government fighting corruption is laughable in our own country. So no shit we laundered 2.2 trillion into bribes and fake projects, what did you think was going to happen?

How many Company Grade Officers were relieved of command or run up on charges over 20 years? A lot. Hundreds, if not thousands. How many Generals faced the same fate, or resigned in disgrace over their incompetence? None. Stan McCrystal resigned for saying not nice things about Obumer to a Rolling Stone reporter, but that doesn’t count. In fact, perhaps it is telling that General JSOC himself was played in such a manner. If ole Stanley is too much of a fucking idiot not to effectively give his enemy kryptonite and ask him nice not to use it, what does that say about the rest of the Officer Caste? For that matter, how many children did the CEO of Ratheyon or Boeing or Lockheed Martin lose to the meat grinder?

Yeah, it hurts. I feel you. We all lost friends. Had our brothers return home mangled and broken. Was it worth it? No. But those are sunk costs, so we might as well look at what we gained from the experience.

He goes on to list a few of those silver-lining items before laying down some 24-karat-gold, capital-t Truth:

We lost this war the minute Code Pink was taken seriously. The minute Bradly Manning and Bo Berghdale weren’t hung. The first time we charged one of our warfighters with murder or using excessive force. The first time we denied a element in contact air support. Our people, 49% of them at least, are weak and stupid. The great sifting has just begun, and it will get worse. That is the price you pay for allowing weakness to take root in your society.

All of us, I promise, will be needed once again. And soon. And not in some Bureaucrat, Blue Blood , Skull and Bones created debacle on the edge of the Empire. I mean needed as in needed like the Spartans at Thermopylae. The weakness on display right now by the Government of the United States will not go unnoticed by the world at large. We can expect now to be poked in the chest, because we have shown that we will take it.

Seems to me it ain’t really the rest of the world that we need to be concerning ourselves with now. As I keep saying, the war has been brought home to us, right to our very doorsteps. The primary threat to American liberty, American prosperity and security, and Americans themselves, no longer comes from enemies abroad. As in the classic old horror-movie line: The calls are coming from inside the house.

    “We are led by buffoons”

Well, there’s no arguing with THAT.

TUCKER CARLSON, FOX NEWS: Joe Biden went on television today, this afternoon, and talked to the country about Afghanistan. He said, among other things, that we had no choice but to leave, and on that question, he is right. The United States should have left Afghanistan 19 years ago when it became obvious that Osama bin Laden wasn’t there and had fled to Pakistan. There was no reason to stay in the country.

And the longer we remained, the worse it was always going to be. The question is, and the relevant question today, is how exactly do you get out? Just because something is necessary doesn’t mean you get to ignore the details of it. If you learned you needed an emergency appendectomy, would it matter to you who performed the operation? A surgeon with a scalpel or a drunk guy with a pocket knife? Yes, it would matter to you.

But it didn’t matter to Joe Biden, apparently. He barely mentioned the withdrawal today. Biden did the necessary thing in the ugliest possible way. If you’ve been watching television during the day, you’ve probably seen this footage. It’s terrified men in sandals clinging to the side of a C-17 as it attempts to leave Afghanistan.

This is the iconic photo of the moment. It’s the final humiliating scene of the American occupation of Afghanistan. That means that after 20 years and trillions of dollars, our leaders couldn’t manage to pull off an orderly retreat. They couldn’t even secure a single runway, and that’s the main lesson of the fall of Kabul. We are led by buffoons. They have no idea what they’re doing. We know that now. They are imposters.

Everything they touch turns to chaos, not just there but here. These are the people who run the Amtrak station in Midtown Manhattan, the one that’s filled with drug addicts. They are the people in charge of the power grid in the State of California, they have no useful skills, and yet somehow, these same people assured us they were going to turn Stone Age Afghanistan into Modern Belgium. Remembering it now is bitter and hilarious.

At this point, our leaders are so discredited, they are running out of ways to criticize the Taliban. Is the Biden administration really going to attack the new government of Afghanistan for forcing women to cover their faces? Are American diplomats actually going to lecture Taliban leaders about toppling statues? Probably not going to happen. That’s how much credibility our leaders have lost, how much moral authority they have squandered in the past 20 years.

But most of what they’ve lost is their self-awareness. They have none.

Okay then, ONE thing I’ll argue with: as nothing but walking, talking skin-bags of pure conceit, they’re ALL self-awareness, ALL the time. The trouble is that their perception has been so radically skewed by their monstrously bloated egos, that’s all. They aren’t what they think they are: not nearly the capable, intelligent, admired, and influential leaders they believe themselves to be. None of which fazes them in the least, natch. Obama said a mouthful when he told author Richard Wolfe, “You know, I actually believe my own bullshit.” They all do, and demand that everybody else must as well.

    Living in interesting times

Could there possibly be a more perfect day to run something from a fellow blog-site yclept Clusterfuck Nation?

I guess we had to find out the hard way that Afghanistan is not like Nebraska. Let others be cruel about it (and there’s plenty of that right now, elsewhere). The last ostensible hegemon who tried occupying the place before us was the Soviet Union, which discovered painfully that Afghanistan was not much like its Kemerovo Oblast, either, and shortly after it withdrew its troops in 1989, the Soviet Union commenced to collapse — which prompts one to wonder: How much is the USA of 2021 like the Soviet Union of those years?

Well, we’ve become an ossified, administrative nomenklatura of Deep State flunkies as the Soviets were, and lately we’re just as lawless as they used to be, constitution-wise — e.g., the abolition of property rights via the CDC’s rent moratorium… the prolonged jailing in solitary confinement of January 6 political prisoners… the introduction of internal “passports.” The USA is running on fumes economically as the Soviets were. Our dominant party leadership has aged into an embarrassing gerontocracy. Is it our turn to collapse?

Kind of looks like it. The days ahead are liable to be a rough ride. Surely China has taken the measure of our Woke military and is weighing the seizure of Taiwan in our moment of signal weakness. No more computer chips for you, Uncle Sam! Do we come to Taiwan’s defense with guns blazing, or perhaps nukes? And what if that doesn’t work out so well? I’ll tell you what: a major geopolitical reordering of things, leaving us… where? Unable to enforce our will around the world as has been the case for eighty years. Floundering. Friendless. Broke. Broken!

Of course, the domestic situation in our land has not been so fraught and overwrought since 1861. Everything is politicized, which is to say: used as a truncheon to beat-up adversaries and, let’s face it, mostly in the sense of Left against Right. This is especially true for the Covid-19 soap opera, which more and more pits the sanctimoniously vaccinated “progressives” against the recalcitrant conservative no-vax free-choicers — that is, coercive government trying to force supposedly free citizens to accept a pretty dubious experimental medical treatment.

Since when did the American Left become so pro-tyranny, and how’d that even happen? I have friends and relatives — I’m sure you do, too — who knocked themselves out in the 1960s protesting against the war, the government, the FBI, and the CIA… who fought in the streets for free speech and raged against official propaganda — and today they can’t get enough of coercing, punishing, brain-washing, and cancelling their fellow citizens. They’re going so far now as to engineer their vicious narrative to brand their opponents as “domestic terrorists.” Think that’s going to work?

I doubt it. And the fall of Afghanistan is sure to spark a resentful reaction among the many ex-soldiers who paid a heavy price pulling tours of duty in that hapless venture over twenty years. There’s a lot of them out there in Red America, and they were already pissed-off about the pernicious nonsense being jammed down their throats by the minions of Wokesterism: the race-and-gender hustles, the off-the-charts rise of violent crime, the wide-open border, the off-shoring of jobs, the Covid lockdowns and wrecking of small business, the MMT experiment launching inflation, and the new pussification of the armed forces they served and suffered in. They’ve laid rather low through years of this, just watching the scene in wonder and nausea, but you may see them turn more active now. And consider: they’ve been well-trained in weaponry and tactics.

Sometimes, Vlad Lenin observed, events take decades, and sometimes years happen in weeks. This looks like one of those times for the USA. Heads will soon be spinning like the little girl’s in The Exorcist, releasing a pea-soup spewage of shocking revelation. The old narratives will fall apart before our eyes. Minds will have to get right. Prepare for a whole lot of strange days rolling out.

Kinda like the well-known Hemingway line about going broke: Gradually at first, then all at once. Yes, I know that’s actually a misquote. But I like that version better, so I’m sticking with it.

Gun grabbers are the same the world over

Who the hell cares about the doin’s in a totally unsalvageable, Neolithic shithole when we have our very own Taliban right here at home to be dealt with?

The situation for Afghan civilians continues to devolve. Now, Taliban operatives have begun confiscating people’s personal weapons, promising that they “can now feel safe” and that they no longer need firearms.

The terrorist group declared victory on Sunday as they took over the presidential palace and re-established the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. In a Twitter video, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar celebrated the organization’s triumph. He said:

We have achieved an unexpected victory. Now is the time to test, to show how we serve our people and ensure their future in the best possible way.

A spokesman for the Taliban stated that its jihadis have been seizing firearms in Kabul. He acknowledged that while the organization understands “people kept weapons for personal safety,” they “are not here to harm innocent civilians.”

No, no, of course not. Why, what reasonable, intelligent person could possibly even imagine that you might be? Herschel provides the always-pertinent reminder:

    ISIS did it too.

“ISIS was telling everyone, ‘We’re all brothers,’” Abu Malik said. “They let people smoke and drink. At the checkpoints, they distributed presents to the kids. They ate with people, drank tea with people. They were very nice—they didn’t bother anyone. Then, a week or so after they arrived, they started confiscating weapons. They told us it didn’t matter if we’d been with the Awakening or the Army or the police—if we gave up our weapons, we’d be forgiven. Ten days later, they started taking people. Everything changed. They took my cousin. My brothers dug holes in the fields and hid. I was at my house when they came for me. It was afternoon. I saw two Hyundai Santa Fes pull up outside, and I ran out the back and jumped over the wall. That was the last time I saw my family.”

Guns were confiscated prior to the Armenian genocide in Turkey, prior to the Nazi reign in Germany, prior to Idi Amin’s reign of terror in Uganda, and on the list could go.

And to repeat, gun control is never about confiscation of all guns, the usual rejoinder to these instances by the left. In fact, claiming so undermines the main point.

Gun control is always about leaving them in the hands of state-sanctioned actors and outlawing gun ownership by those not approved by the state.

Yup, that’s about the size of it. The one way, the ONLY way, you should ever allow a tyrant to get his hands on your gun is bullets first. Always remember that lesson, lest forgetfulness cost you absolutely everything.

Fecal Fascist Fauci drops another pantload

    Astoundingly, Herr Doktor doubles down.

Fauci: ‘Put Aside All of These Issues of Concern About Liberties’
“You have to get the overwhelming proportion of people vaccinated, but you also have to do mitigation, and that gets to the controversial issue of mask wearing, and the mandating of things. Mandating vaccines, for example, for teachers and…personnel in the school,” Fauci said during an interview on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”

Fauci went on to say that, while vaccinated individuals have become infected with the coronavirus, the unvaccinated are the ones with more severe cases. He also took the stance that personal liberties should be put on the back burner in favor of mitigating the spread of the virus.

“It’s the unvaccinated that are doing that, so we have a lot of tasks,” Fauci said. “We’ve got to do mitigation. Put aside all of these issues of concern about liberties and personal liberties and realize we have a common enemy and that common enemy is the virus. And we really have to go together to get on top of this. Otherwise, we’re going to continue to suffer as we’re seeing right now.”

Oh, there’s a common enemy here right enough, although it assuredly is NOT some overhyped virus. The real problem here is, it’s Real Americans who have been doing all the suffering to date. Herr Doktor shouldn’t be cherishing any illusions, though, that that situation can’t be corrected, with a quickness. Or that, just because it hasn’t yet, it never will be.

“Put aside all of these issues of concern about liberties,” you say? I’d suggest instead, with utmost urgency and vehemence, that you rethink your own patent lack of concern about them, you officious, mouthy, snot-nosed little prick. Trust me, it would be to your own benefit. A little more in the way of humility and reticence would do you one hell of a lot of good at this point, and your goobermint colleagues as well, assuming it ain’t too late for y’all to collectively pull your withered chestnuts out of the coming conflagration already.

Well said, ol’ buddy, and seconded with all my heart and soul (if any). “Cruel and unusual”? Naaaaaah

Bring back the stocks. Among other needful things.

The coronavirus has given politicians new opportunities to project the power of government, and it has given us new opportunities to observe politicians breaking their own rules. Few things are as vile and contemptible as the hypocrisy of the ruling class.

We recall that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), during the lockdowns, had her hairdresser open up her shop for a private, maskless salon treatment. Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) was photographed at Dulles airport in September without her mask, shortly before she flew out on her husband’s $50 million Gulfstream jet. John Kerry took his mask off on a plane, and he was flying commercial—first class. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) was maskless on the streets of New York City last year, where he was gratifyingly heckled by a fearless New Yorker as his entire entourage and the press corps and even the heckler were wearing their masks. Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo (D) wore a mask for the interview in which she tried to explain why she was seen without a mask at a bar after closing bars and telling everyone to wear a mask. Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D) traveled to visit family in Florida after telling everyone to avoid nonessential travel. Austin, Texas Mayor Steve Adler (D) also told people to stay home—while on vacation in Cabo San Lucas (he apologized, and said he wouldn’t do it again, but there was this wedding he really needed to attend). And over the weekend, photos surfaced of Barack Obama’s lavish, huge, and non-socially distanced birthday celebration on Martha’s Vineyard, as the rest of the country is being threatened with a renewed mask mandate and other restrictions.

After listing several international examples of same, we come to a suggested remedy worthy of serious consideration.

All these incidents serve to remind us what an exceptionally luxurious, frivolous, out-of-touch, one-percent-of-the-one-percent life is led by the politicians who tell us to be patient with losing our businesses or being forced to stay home from work. Their hypocrisy, their abuse of political power, should be a crime. Perhaps not a capital crime. But it does deserve something beyond a fine.

Oh, I’m perfectly fine with making them capital crimes, myself; if nothing else, all possibility of recidivism would be eliminated. But hey, maybe that’s just me.

Politicians who abuse their power should be put in the stocks. Money means nothing to the super-rich and super-powerful, and they will never serve jail time. But Nancy Pelosi would long remember being forced to sit in the stocks for a day outside the hair salon she had opened just for her. Gavin Newsom might learn a thing or two from having to look up at the people who walk by him while he has his feet up outside the French Laundry.

The point of the stocks was to humiliate people—not as an end, but with the intention of reforming their behavior. In 2004, a mail thief was ordered to stand outside the San Francisco Post Office for eight hours wearing a sign that read: “I stole mail. This is my punishment.” The Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld this sentence, inasmuch as the humiliation served the purpose of making the culprit a better citizen.

Nothing else would be so effective or work so quickly in cutting these political big shots down to the size of ordinary people. It would force power-abusing politicians to do what they hate most—be confronted by their voters. Perhaps any politician who serves more than two terms should be put in the stocks for one day every year as a reminder of the basic loathsomeness of his profession. It might be easier than passing national term limits.

Politicians should be compelled in every respect, as much as possible, to live like ordinary, average, people. When they abuse their power, they should be treated far worse than average people, because their power and responsibility is so much greater. Politicians seem to think they deserve special treatment—and they do: Set them in the stocks. Not for long. Just for as long as it takes for them to learn their lessons.

Again: not harsh enough to suit me, not by a long yard. If “let the punishment fit the crime” is to be our standard, then full weight must be given to the innumerable lives ruined, the businesses destroyed, the human misery created, and the fortunes lost or stolen because of the actions of the career-politician class. That can only mean that leaving ’em stocked and subject to public abuse and humiliation until they’re well and truly broken, in body, mind, and spirit, is the way to go. “Learning their lessons” will never be adequate to the task; they never will, it’s completely beyond them.

Personally, I think even the stocks are insufficiently “cruel and unusual” for such despicable toads. If we truly intend to balance the scales of justice as compensation to the victims for all the harm politicians have inflicted, we should also consider bringing back, say, the Brank:

The device was a metal cage or mask that enclosed the head, often with ridiculous adornments designed to humiliate its victim. In some towns, the Brank had a bell attached to its rear only to announce the presence of the victim who was instantly mocked by the people she “endangered” through gossip.

Many variants of the Brank appeared throughout the Middle Ages, some included spikes that penetrated the victim’s flesh when she spoke.

The duration of this torture could range from a few hours, to months. In some cases, the victim was left to die with the Brank; if she ever removed it, she’d be tortured with another method and sometimes killed.

NOW we’re getting somewhere. Among the many other options which also merit looking into would be the Rack, the Breaking Wheel, the Thumbscrews, and my all-time favorite, the Judas Chair:

Also known as the Judas Chair, the Chair of Torture was a terrible device of the Middle Ages. It was used until the late 1800’s in Europe.

There are many variants of the chair. They all have one thing in common: spikes cover the back, arm-rests, seat, leg-rests and foot-rests. The number of spikes in one of these chairs ranges from 500 to 1,500.

To avoid movement, the victim’s wrists were tied to the chair or, in one version, two bars pushed the arms against arm-rests for the spikes to penetrate the flesh even further. In some versions, there were holes under the chair’s bottom where the torturer placed coal to cause severe burns while the victim still remained conscious.

This instrument’s strength lies primarily in the psychological fear caused on the victims. It was a common practice to extract a confession by forcing the victim to watch someone else be tortured with this instrument.

The time of death greatly varied ranging from a few hours to a day or more. No spike penetrated any vital organ and the wound was closed by the spike itself which delayed blood loss greatly.

Ingenius, and just the thing to instill the proper fear into the malificent buggers. One of these placed in a prominent position in both Congressional chambers, the Oval Office, and the Supreme Court could go a long way towards rectifying our problems. One in every state’s Governor’s Mansion, situated so that every last elected and appointed bureauweasel had to walk right by the thing multiple times each and every working day, would probably fix the whole mess practically overnight.

After that, restore the lost art of pistols at dawn on the Field of Honor to full legal status and we’d have ourselves a civilization worthy of the name again.

Interim Operational Considerations for Implementing the Shielding Approach to Prevent COVID-19 Infections in Humanitarian Settings

Hrm. On the somewhat bright side, at least the headline consists of some good, old-school goobermint bafflegab, the usual word salad designed not to elucidate but to conceal. There’s a sort of left-handed comfort to be taken from that, since it’s no departure from the normal standard. PRO TIP: Do NOT be expecting that comfort I just mentioned to last very long. Because I assure you, it ain’t gonna.

    What is the Shielding Approach?
The shielding approach aims to reduce the number of severe COVID-19 cases by limiting contact between individuals at higher risk of developing severe disease (“high-risk”) and the general population (“low-risk”). High-risk individuals would be temporarily relocated to safe or “green zones” established at the household, neighborhood, camp/sector or community level depending on the context and setting. They would have minimal contact with family members and other low-risk residents.

Current evidence indicates that older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions are at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19. In most humanitarian settings, older population groups make up a small percentage of the total population. For this reason, the shielding approach suggests physically separating high-risk individuals from the general population to prioritize the use of the limited available resources and avoid implementing long-term containment measures among the general population.

In theory, shielding may serve its objective to protect high-risk populations from disease and death. However, implementation of the approach necessitates strict adherence to protocol. Inadvertent introduction of the virus into a green zone may result in rapid transmission among the most vulnerable populations the approach is trying to protect.

A summary of the shielding approach described by Favas is shown in Table 1. See Guidance for the prevention of COVID-19 infections among high-risk individuals in low-resource, displaced and camp and camp-like settings, for full details.

Emphasis mine on the more alarming bits, so’s nobody misses anything. But really, it shouldn’t be necessary; for any passably intelligent individual who knows something about world history, the pattern couldn’t be more obvious.

I mean seriously, now: anybody out there need to have it spelled out what “camp and camp-like settings” might imply? As for what they mean by “high-risk individuals,” well, that ought to be equally easy to comprehend. That would be you; me; every other dedicated NonVaxxer; Trump supporters and other purveyors of “misinformation,” about any topic at all; and any stubborn holdouts with the insufferable temerity to still prefer the long-gone US Constitution and the government established by it to the illegitimate Leftist tyranny currently in charge.

In short, all us Deplorables. More, and worse:

    • The shielding approach advises against any new facility construction to establish green zones; however, few settings will have existing shelters or communal facilities with designated latrines/bathing facilities to accommodate high-risk individuals. In these settings, most latrines used by HHs are located outside the home and often shared by multiple HHs.
    • If dedicated facilities are available, ensure safety measures such as proper lighting, handwashing/hygiene infrastructure, maintenance and disinfection of latrines.
    • Ensure facilities can accommodate high-risk individuals with disabilities, children and separate genders at the neighborhood/camp-level.

In case you’re wondering from which batshit-insane, overly paranoid, conspiracy-theorizing sewer of a right-wing website those marrow-freezing excerpts were glommed, all of the above and plenty more can be found on the CDC’s own official website.

SO, it’s to be the camps for us, then. Pardon me for asking, but would it be too over-the-top and extreme to begin referring to the ruling junta as the Fourth Reich at this point? Or must we wait until the NonVaxxed have all had the requisite Regime-assigned serial numbers tattooed onto our forearms before that step can reasonably be taken?

Ahh, but just how serious ARE these people, anyway? Is The Enemy so filled with hate for those of us who refuse to bend the knee, so inhuman and arrogant, so damnably monstrous that they could actually put such a clearly evil program into motion for real? Well, about that.

In case you don’t know who this Little Hitler is:

US House Candidate: ‘We Should Be Allowed to Shoot’ Anyone Who Doesn’t Take COVID Seriously Enough
The candidate is Steve Cox, an independent running to represent California’s 39th Congressional District.

Unfortunately, this independent candidate is not alone in his beliefs.

Leftists have infected the country with their COVID propaganda, which has now left hundreds of thousands — if not millions — of Americans with an irrational fear of a disease that no longer poses more of a threat than cancer or Alzheimer’s.

SO, one of our future Rulers, then.

You can tell yourself that this is all just too damned silly to get worked up about. That it’s all just talk, hyperbole, overheated rhetoric. You can tell yourself that none of this awful stuff could ever POSSIBLY happen here. That Americans would never, ever allow themselves to be marched onto boxcars and whisked off to Nazi-Germany style camps, all docile and sheeplike. That such atrocities have been left behind in humanity’s past, matters of dim and distant history not to be repeated as current events. That mankind has learned from those horrors and is now far too advanced, too civilized, too wise, ever to fall prey to the old nightmares again.

Yeah, you just go right ahead and tell yourself all that.

Dangerous ground update! Paul Craig Roberts sees through the fog of government deception.

More fear! More fear! “As the super-transmissible Delta variant marches across the US, more mutant versions are developing.” In addition to Delta we now also have AY.1 or “Delta-plus.” health.com sets out the propaganda: https://www.health.com/condition/infectious-diseases/coronavirus/delta-plus-variant

Note the point one. Soon AY.2, AY.3, AY.4 will be announced. More vaccines, more booster shots. As vaccine deaths and injuries mount, more invented “variants” will be blamed. With this game plan in operation you can see why the price of vaccine stocks have shot up. The share prices reflect the expected profits from endless vaccination.

As we are learning, there are more agendas associated with Covid than profit. The institutionalization of tyranny is another associated agenda. The CDC has come up with a plan to shield “high-risk” people by moving them into “green zone” camps where “they would have minimal contact with family members.” Who is designated “high-risk”? The front people for the internment camp plan are the elderly with co-morbidities. But the vaccination propaganda defines “high-risk individuals” as the unvaccinated. The camps will be for the unvaccinated.

You will be able to stay out of the camps by getting vaccinated. No, this is not a “conspiracy theory.” Here is the CDC document on the CDC’s own website: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/global-covid-19/shielding-approach-humanitarian.html

Why the desperate push for universal vaccination when the evidence is clear, and the CDC even admits, that vaccination does not protect against the delta variant, and more unprotected “variants” are on the way. The desperation to jab everyone with a “vaccine” that does not protect but does kill and bring health injuries implies a darker agenda. The evidence is now clear that the “vaccine” impairs human fertility. See, for example, https://rumble.com/vkopys-a-pathologist-summary-of-what-these-jabs-do-to-the-brain-and-other-organs.html

There are a couple of amusing tidbits concerning the deadlydeadlyDEADLY!!! “Delta” variant and all its metastizing plus-plus-plus-plus add-ons in the BP piece I excerpted earlier, items of interest I decided not to include then but will throw out there now:

The current fear narrative being peddled by Fauci and Biden is the dreaded Delta variant, previously known as the Indian variant. Did you ever wonder why they had to rename the Indian variant? The chart below is why.

The panic porn media was running non-stop horror stories about India and the bodies piling up in the streets back in May. At that time less than 4% of the Indian population had been vaxxed. Even today it is only 7% of their 1.3 billion people. The talking heads, and Fauci, all pointed to India as a humanitarian tragedy in the making – using it as their fear tactic for getting the jab. But their narrative fell apart in a matter of weeks and you no longer hear about India on the nightly news.

That’s because cases crashed by 90% in the two months from the peak in May. And guess what? It happened with no vaccine rollout. They did send tens of millions of doses of ivermectin out to the population. These FACTS do not support the approved narrative being spun by our contemptible corrupt leaders. This flu is seasonal. Cases, based on a flawed PCR test, are already highly questionable. And 40,000 cases per day in a country with four times the population of the U.S. is a non-event. India’s deaths peaked at about 4,000 per day in May and are now 500 per day, down 88% with virtually no one getting jabbed.

How could India’s deaths per million (312) be 64% lower than the U.S. (866) when they have very few vaccinated, have a vast majority of their 1.3 billion people living in squalor, and have limited medical resources for the majority. Seems like a conundrum, and now you know why our pandemia panic patrol no longer speak about India. Just like they no longer speak about Sweden, because their no lockdown, no mask mandates, and no forced vaccination policies have worked spectacularly well, while not infringing upon the rights and freedoms of their citizens. These examples are an embarrassment to the Great Reset crowd and their agenda of controlling the masses through fear and threats.

As BP goes on to discuss, it was then off to the UK for the fear-pimps, where the standard panic over DELTAAAAAGGGHHH!!! was duly ginned up with monumental disappointment Boris Johnson credited with an assist by way of some most-helpful lockdown, mask, and NotVaxx passport mandate renewals. Back to PCR.

Covid’s victims are limited to a small number of people with co-morbidities and weak immune systems who are denied treatment by known cures such as HCQ and Ivermectin. These deaths were needed and desired in order to generate fear that would stampede people into accepting an unapproved, untested experimental technology never before used, the consequences of which were unknown. We now know that the consequences include death and permanent health impairment; yet the rush to vaccinate marches forward.

Clearly, the agenda operating is not public health. The Covid virus funded by Fauci in Wuhan has brought tyranny to America, and the “vaccine” is bringing death and impaired health to millions of people.

Nah, not so much; the sad fact is, tyranny was already here. FrankenFauci and his Chinkenpox bio-weapon just helped to get it tuned up and running well, that’s all. But as we enter the final lap of our national suicide run, Max Morton sees a potential obstacle ahead for the tyrants behind the wheel.

I’m not so much worried about COVID anymore. We’ve seen it operate, built some vaccines, have a greater awareness of potential therapies to counter its effects, and our healthcare system has adapted to its risks. It’s likely COVID will join the cold and flu season as another reason to practice good hygiene and preventive medicine during infectious periods. What is particularly worrisome is the absolutely cowardly and sickening descent into authoritarianism displayed by my fellow Americans—ostensibly over this virus.

Despite the establishment’s hard sell of the COVID narrative and vaccine program, there are tens of millions of Americans who are not going to surrender control of their bodies to the state. For whatever reasons, known only to them and completely within their rights to have, they are resistant to accept the current vaccines under the current conditions.

For their dissident behavior they are being labeled as threats to public safety. The establishment’s answer to this lack of cooperation is the implementation of vaccine passports.

Quite frankly, America has enough going on right now with the woke cultural revolution and an increasingly dangerous administrative state. We don’t need a leap into full-blown fascism with vaccine passports. If you’re scared of a virus that has a 99 percent survival rate that’s fine, and well within your rights. Be as scared as you want to be. Wear a mask and stay indoors for the rest of your life if it makes you feel better.

You be you and I’ll be me. Live and let live. These are all tried and true maxims that have facilitated civil society over the years. The opposite of that is what the vaccine passport represents and is a historically dangerous path to pursue. Attempting to turn nearly a third of the population into second-class citizens so you can feel safe is suicide. Now here’s the bad news—that suicide isn’t mine—it’s yours.

BAD news? Like hell. Sounds more like damned EXCELLENT news to me. In fact, I think it’s only right that we magnanimously extend an offer of any and all necessary assistance so as to ease them along their chosen path.

All across social media there are calls to make life unlivable for those who are hesitant to accept the current crop of vaccines. There are no discussions of exceptions for naturally acquired immunity or allowing citizens to make their own health risk-assessments. The twitter blue-checks have roundly declared that these vaccine-hesitant individuals are almost all Trump supporters and selfish Republicans. The reality is a high percentage of the unvaccinated are in minority communities who harbor a justifiable distrust of the wealthy white Kens and Karens pushing vaccine conformity.

The “Our Democracy” mob is calling for a new caste society, where those who resist the woke ideology of the day are marginalized and relieved of their rights and liberties. The real trouble will start when the COVID hysterics begin impeding Americans’ ability to work, put food on the table, receive government benefits and healthcare. As PayPal co-founder David Sacks said when discussing the dangers of financial institutions blacklisting un-woke individuals and businesses—“Silenced voices and empty stomachs are fuel for the very extremism you claim to oppose.”

In a previous essay on the shortcomings of our ruling elite I noted:

There are two phrases, which taken together, probably constitute the origin of violence and conflict throughout the history of mankind. They are the imperative command “Submit,” and the responsive challenge, “Or what?” I am guessing billions have died as a result of that conversation, because the follow-on to “or what” is when the stabbing, hacking, shooting, and bombing starts. If one wishes to avoid that violence, it is best to avoid forcing that discussion.

America has never been a country where “do it because I said so” was an acceptable answer to “why?” But if you read through your social media or turn on the cable news you’re seeing and hearing the command “Submit!” in the “do what we’re telling you or we are going to make your life hard” threats. The elites are bent on forcing that discussion.

Then we should give it to them. Good. And. Hard, until WE say enough.

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice…

I DO “trust the science,” generally speaking. I do NOT trust the scientists, most especially those beholden to FederalGovCo for their livelihood, research grant funding, and exalted status. As for “doctors” who spend their entire professional lives securely ensconced in the cozy confines of the federal bureaucracy—without ever, over the entire course of a nearly fifty-year career, even once treating a patient, writing a prescription, or helping a sick person recover—well, they can go hang for all me.

    Yes, literally.

Fauci, Walensky, Biden, Pasaki and the rest of the Biden apparatchiks are liars, frauds, and fear mongering whores for Big Pharma. Fauci is the father of covid. He created it with his illegal gain of function funding, partnering with the communist government of China and is responsible for all the death and economic destruction wrought over the last eighteen months. He should be tried, convicted and executed for crimes against humanity. History should lump him with the likes of Josef Mengele and other mass murders.

He continues to lie on a daily basis and the cucks in the corporate propaganda media never question his lies or push back in any way. They are co-conspirators in this authoritarian attempt to override the Constitution and enslave you in a pharmacological techno gulag. The merger of Big Government with Big Pharma, Big Tech, Big Finance and Big Corp endangers the rights, freedoms and liberties guaranteed to citizens under the U.S. Constitution.

The totalitarians never let a good fake crisis go to waste. This faux flu crisis is being marketed to the hilt by those pressing their agenda of medical tyranny, backed by technological surveillance and tracking, and coordinated with mega-corporations and social media censorship police. Their agenda is deeply disturbing and Orwellian in nature. The almost hysterical lies and blather being uttered by Fauci, Walensky, their fawning media acolytes, tyrant governors, and bureaucrat government drones, clearly points toward a more nefarious goal. Nothing being implemented by the Federal government, state governments, or mega-corporations is based upon science, your health, or anyone else’s health.

The desperate nature of the authoritarian actions being implemented by the elitists running our country and their corporate co-conspirators is foretelling a much darker truth lurking below the surface. This global Ponzi scheme we call our economic and financial system is ripping apart at the seams. The powerful and wealthy oligarchs who already control the levers of power and own most of the wealth do not want to see their heaven on earth of riches evaporate like a puddle on a hot summer day. This is why they are attempting to install a command and control “build back better” Great Reset plan where they will own everything and you will own nothing,  say nothing, do as you are told, and get your yearly booster shot for the newest variant of a phantom flu.

We allowed them to shut down the country, destroy small businesses, put tens of millions out of work, forced you to wear face diapers, created drastically more dependency on government handouts, drove the national debt up by $6.5 trillion in eighteen months, and essentially handed over our entire economy to Wall Street puppets at the Federal Reserve whose sole purpose is to keep enriching bankers, billionaires, and the corporatocracy.

They reduced the pressure for a brief time, but they learned how gullible and pliable the willfully ignorant masses were during round one of their authoritarian takeover. Round two looks to be more tyrannical and enforced by their police thugs, corporate backers, social media tyrants, and their zombie hordes of vaxxed Karens snitching on those not following the plan. Biden and his handlers are shitting on the Constitution on a daily basis and don’t believe the rule of law applies to them. They are allowing millions of illegal immigrants (many with covid), who somehow (Soros) have the money to fly to Mexico from their 3rd world shitholes, to pour over the border and be transported to swing state Democrat run urban paradises.

If we don’t forcefully push back now, we may never be given another chance to reverse this downward spiral of a once free nation. We are crossing our Rubicon and there will be no turning back. The decisions we make individually and as a country in the next few months will determine whether we are mice or men.

Wise men from the past knew the enemy can always be found within. We need to identify our enemy, confront them through non-compliance with their mandates, boycotting corporations supporting the regime, organizing workers to resist vaccine mandates through strikes or mass resignation,  passive resistance by throwing monkey wrenches into the gears of their financial system, and if need be exercising our 2nd Amendment rights. I am not overstating this threat, as this country is being pushed toward the brink by an enemy in plain sight.

Bold mine, because it’s about time more people started facing the facts as they currently stand. Our enemy, for his part, should give some careful thought about how rapidly being “in plain sight” can devolve into being part of a “sight picture,” suddenly and without warning.

    Torn asunder

Hypothesis: Yes, it’s possible to live peaceably cheek-by-jowl with these howling psychos. But who would want to?

New York Times columnist David Brooks wrote a column titled “What’s Ripping American Families Apart?” Though Brooks offered no answers to his question — “I confess, I don’t understand what’s causing this,” he wrote — he did cite important data. For example, he linked to a 2015 study in the Journal of Psychology and Behavioral Science, which reported that at least 27% of Americans are estranged from a member of their family. Having addressed this subject regularly on my national radio show for 20 years, in print (“Adults who do not speak to a parent,” Jewish Journal, July 19, 2011) and on video (PragerU Fireside Chat No. 72, March 6, 2019), I can attest to the prevalence of the catastrophe of an adult child who has chosen to sever all contact with a parent. Men as well as women have wept on my show when talking about their alienated son or daughter.

Like the Times readers who wrote about their pride in not becoming grandparents — their child having decided not to have children because of climate change — I again encountered derangement among New York Times readers.

That virtually no Times reader took issue — let alone judged — the sons and daughters who removed themselves from their parents’ lives was bad enough. What pushed the responses into the mentally unbalanced category was that many readers actually explained these life-crushing decisions by blaming capitalism, poverty, former President Donald Trump and, believe it or not, climate change.

Of the scores of examples, here are a few:

Peter, Chicago: “That’s what global capitalism does best. Social destruction.”

Boone, Wild West: “My wife is estranged from four of her five siblings, and it’s totally due to Trump, who they continue to support, which is simply inexcusable. I totally agree.”

Susan T., Brooklyn, New York: “Fox and Trump are the main reasons for estrangement at this time.”

Mike, Fort Smith, Arkansas: “Trump and Fox News created an entire generation of crazy people who nobody can relate to.”

Hate to have to break this to ya, buddy, but I’m afraid it wasn’t Trump or Fox who did it. For instance:

SB, New York: “If my mother or father became a murderer, terrorist, (or a) Republican…would I still love my parent. Here the answer is less sure.”

GBR, New England: “In the past several years, my view of them (my parents) as people dramatically changed. Can you guess what did it? His initials are DJT. Sometimes one can have loving parents who treated you well, advocated for you, gave you opportunities, encouragement, and support…but who are just not good people when viewed with an adult…”

OH yeah, these assholes sound PERFECTLY sane and reasonable to me. They were doubtless perfectly normal, well-adjusted, good-hearted folks until that bastard Trump came along and magically transformed them into the wretched psychological dumpster-fires they now are. BT (Before Trump), they had been warm, affable, levelheaded—the sort loved and respected by neighbors, co-workers and bosses, casual acquaintances—people generally regarded as pillars of their community.

But AD (After Donald)? They’re bitter, hateful, sanctimonious, intolerant, obssessive, sometimes even dangerous. They’re quick to excuse their own shortcomings by blaming other people for them, expecting the indulgence of a compassionate, live-and-let-live attitude should they miss the mark in any way. But then they suddenly become inflexible, vengeful scolds whenever someone else fails to meet the exacting standards they impose on all others, from the high and mighty all the way down to the teenager who bagged their groceries unsatisfactorily, or the insufficiently-subservient waitress at lunch.

Sure, these miserable excrescences are broken all right, and badly too. But they were that way before, and it damned sure wasn’t Trump, Fox News, the weather, or binary-cis-het Breeder whypeepo that broke ’em. But it could be worthwhile to identify a culprit here nonetheless, and Prager has a suggestion for where to start looking. Issues? They got ’em, many and varied, all riding them like they were a rented mule. But essentially, if you dig down deep enough, you’ll almost always hit the ubiquitous “Daddy didn’t love me enough!” layer from whence all else erupts.

If you want to know how the left has screwed with people’s minds, hearts and consciences, just read the comments sections accompanying New York Times articles. Then read comments accompanying Wall Street Journal articles. You may not agree with them, but you will encounter nothing so comparably irrational or mean, let alone deranged.

As if all the above LGH (Left-caused Global Heartache) lunacy t’weren’t enough to persuade you of the inadvisability of even thinking about trying to live amicably within a hundred miles of even one of these fascist headcases, spoon up another helping.

Go back a decade and people were able to civilly discuss the issues of the day, even highly controversial ones.  Are any friendships now ending because of disagreements over the contents of the massive infrastructure bill His Senility’s administration is pushing?  Probably not. Nowadays the subjects that make you non-person to those on the left are all those hot-button matters surrounding identity – your attitude toward police, BLM rioters, George Floyd, Trump, Proud Boys, Antifa, the border wall, Trump, critical race theory, immigration, and which bathroom transgenders should use.

So what has changed?  How did it come about that widely held opinions freely expressed over decades are now considered so unutterably bad by those on the left that they must break off relationships with those guilty of such wrongthink?

The left’s favored narrative that mainstream media uses its megaphone to propagate is that of “asymmetric polarization” – that conservatives have become radicalized by Republican politicians and FOX News.  The notion flies in the face of the reality that most Democrats now hold views that barely existed in the electorate twenty or thirty years ago, including that biological men should be able to use women’s bathrooms and compete in women’s sports if they consider themselves to be women.

Significant new research has been published debunking the asymmetric polarization myth. Kevin Drum, a former writer for uber-progressive Mother Jones Magazine recently posted a series of charts showing long-term trends in attitudes by political party on a variety of culture war issues.  In almost all cases, whether it be abortion, guns, immigration, or religion, Democrats’ views have shifted more sharply to the left since 2000 than Republicans’ have toward the right.  In fact, on some issues like same-sex marriage and taxes, Republicans’ views have moved significantly toward the liberal position, although not as radically as Democrats’ have. Drum’s findings are consistent with those of Pew Research, which show that since 1994 the median Democrat has shifted far more to the left than the median Republican has to the right. The conservative Democrat is now an even more endangered species than the liberal Republican.

Political scientist Zach Goldberg has done some of the most extensive research on the rapidly changing political ideology of white liberals over the last decade that is remaking American politics, and the relationship between media, especially digital media, and the change in those attitudes, something he characterizes at the “digitalization of moral outrage”.  This contrasts with the relative stability of attitudes of white conservatives.

“Due at least in part to digital media, white liberal attitudes that more or less endured for decades have been drastically overturned in the space of months or single years.  In contrast, the attitudes of white conservatives – and conservatives in general – have moved at a more glacial pace, if at all.  For liberals, the lack of awareness of how fast and far their attitudes have shifted fosters an illusion of conservative extremism.  In reality, the conservatives of today and not all that different from the conservatives of years past. And it’s the frustration with white conservatives’ inability or reluctance to keep pace with liberals on the path to enlightenment that is intensifying our political divide.”

It is curious to me that I have lost so many friends in recent years that I have known for as much as three decades when my own views are, if anything, significantly more moderate than the more doctrinaire conservative views I held in my younger Reaganite days, at least on matters of economic and foreign policy. That was before the age of social media, but I certainly was not shy about expressing my views. Back then my liberal acquaintances were tolerant of those views, but now some consider them to be beyond the pale.

Those who become indoctrinated in this ideology of wokeness are susceptible to becoming part of bullying mobs who vandalize property and scream epithets at outdoor diners. Both in the physical world and in cyberspace, they become crowd-sourced dissent suppression campaigns by volunteer thought police.  For the ideologically indoctrinated, unfriending someone either in person or online is both an act of performative righteousness and part of the left’s broader campaign of systematized incentivized compliance. The threat to end their friendship with you deserves to be viewed as a form of bullying into ideological acquiescence.

Myself, I’m more inclined to view it as them doing me a big favor, one for which I’m deeply grateful.

When their demand is your silence if not your full adoption of their ideology, there is probably little you can do to maintain a friendship with someone who has become so outraged by and judgmental of your beliefs and values.

And I should want to maintain a “friendship” with a judgmental, intellectually constipated rage monkey WHY, exactly? Help me out, I’m drawing a blank over here.

Some may be one-time acquaintance or former co-workers with whom you have maintained an online connection.  Others may be real life relationships nurtured in person over a period of time. Being true to oneself means not being silenced, and for most of us there will be more such pain and lost human relationships in the years ahead as tensions escalate. But that is a decision every person needs to make individually.

Now I’m supposed to feel “pain” when some cognitively-addled freak declares on the social-media outlets I never use that he/xhe/zhir/them/it is no longer my “friend,” eh? Sorry and all, but…meh. Sayonara, sucker. Don’t let the door hit ya where the good Lord etc. Check ya some other time, unless I see you coming beforehand.

What does it portend for the future when people with different political outlooks no longer even talk to each other or consider each other as friends?

Same as what we’re getting now, only bigger, harder, deeper, and lots more of it. LOTS.

Here’s the thing: I’m sick and damned tired of trying to explain myself to people who aren’t listening; trying to debate rationally with hysterical nitwits who aren’t rational; trying to be civil with obnoxiously self-righteous twits who don’t even know what the word means; and pretending to be “friends” with nutcakes who explicitly, loudly hate my guts and want me and mine dead, dead, dead.

I could quite easily live next door to just about anybody at all, without hassle or angst, as long as they’re willing to leave my ass the fuck alone. That is the one and only requirement I have, and it is NOT negotiable. I don’t think that this one tiny little ask—mind your own business, and keep your nose out of mine—is over the top, not at all. Certainly, it is noway nohow unfair, seeing as how I make it standard practice to see that it goes both ways. Clearly, the Outraged Left does not agree.

Well fine then, fuck it. Let’s everybody stop pretending that what’s staring us in the face isn’t really there at all, and just get on down to business.

If you are in fact a legit hooman bean desirous of registering yourself a CF user name so as to be able to comment only to find yourself caught up as collateral damage in one of my irregularly (un)scheduled sweeps for hinky registration attempts, please shoot me a kite at the email addy over in the right sidebar and let me know so’s I can get ya fixed up manually.

ALSO NOTE: You MUST use a valid, legit email address in order to successfully register, the new anti-spam software I installed last night requires it. My thanks to Barry for all his help sorting this mess out last night.

Comments appear entirely at the whim of the guy who pays the bills for this site and may be deleted, ridiculed, maliciously edited for purposes of mockery, or otherwise pissed over as he in his capricious fancy sees fit. The CF comments section is pretty free-form and rough and tumble; tolerance level for rowdiness and misbehavior is fairly high here, but is NOT without limit.

Management is under no obligation whatever to allow the comments section to be taken over and ruined by trolls, Leftists, and/or other oxygen thieves, and will take any measures deemed necessary to prevent such. Conduct yourself with the merest modicum of decorum, courtesy, and respect and you'll be fine. Pick pointless squabbles with other commenters, fling provocative personal insults, issue threats, or annoy the host (me) and...you won't.

Should you find yourself sanctioned after running afoul of the CF comments policy as stated and feel you have been wronged, please download and complete the Butthurt Report form below in quadruplicate; retain one copy for your personal records and send the others to the email address posted in the right sidebar.

Please refrain from whining, sniveling, and/or bursting into tears and waving your chubby fists around in frustrated rage, lest you suffer an aneurysm or stroke unnecessarily. Your completed form will be reviewed and your complaint addressed whenever management feels like getting around to it. Thank you.
