High crimes and misdemeanors

Sooo…they impeached Trump over a phone call, did they?

As Biden repeats claim that ‘nobody could have known’ Afghan Army would collapse, bombshell transcript from July reveals he pressured Afghan President Ghani to create ‘perception’ Taliban wasn’t winning ‘WHETHER IT’S TRUE OR NOT’
President Joe Biden wanted the now-departed Afghan president to create the ‘perception’ that his government was capable of holding off the Taliban – an indication he knew it was only a matter of time before the US ally fell to the Islamic group even while reassuring Americans at home that it would not happen.

In the last phone call between Biden and his Afghan then-counterpart Ashraf Ghani, the American president said they needed to change perceptions of the Taliban’s rapid advance ‘whether it is true or not,’ according to excerpts published on Tuesday.

Biden on Tuesday repeated his assertion that his team was caught flat-footed by the rapid Taliban takeover of the country.

‘The assumption was that more than 300,000 Afghan national security forces that we had trained over the past two decades, and equipped, would be a strong adversary in their civil wars with the Taliban,’ Biden told the nation in a televised speech from the White House on Tuesday.

As my grandma used to say: the dirty stinking son of a bitch would rather climb a tree and tell a lie than stand on the ground and tell the truth. This is a “man” so has lied so often, so outrageously, and so shamelessly over the course of his undistinguished and self-serving career that he probably had a hard time remembering what was true and what wasn’t even before he started going senile.

Just kidding about what I said in the opening line, gang. We all know very well that no such thing is ever going to happen, no matter what Grampy Gropey might get himself up to. If justice is ever to be visited upon him and his fellow reprobates—for ANYTHING they’ve done, DID do, or are STILL doing—well, consider it one of the many, many things Real Americans will just have to handle themselves.

Moar Ashcanistan HILARITY

Having your cake ice cream and eating it too.

Some commentary on Biden’s speech:

Biden always does the same thing when this demented old slurring, lisping fool wants to sound “tough:” He just yells.

I think his handlers believe his lisping and slurring are less pronounced when he’s yelling like an old lunatic.

90% of Americans who wanted to leave have been evacuated, Biden says.

Yay! 90%! That’s an A minus!!!

OUT: This was my call and the buck stops with me

IN: This was Trump’s idea, you know

This is a great point: Biden is claiming simultaneously that this is a great success and also blaming Trump for the failure.

What?

Time once again for one of my all-time favorite lines, from one of my all-time favorite movies:

Diane (Darryl Hannah): You don’t even bother to lie to me carefully anymore, Charlie. It’s an insult to be lied to so obviously.
Charlie (Mickey Rourke): Diane, I’ll tell you what…tomorrow I’m gonna turn over a new leaf, and I promise you, my lies will be a whole lot better.

Only I can’t say I expect Faux Jaux’s lies to get any better, honestly. No consolation, just confirmation:

Kurt Schlichter sums up.

The last word (for now) has to go to Gold Star mother Shana Chappell, who gave Faux Jaux a full-on, double-barreled blast right in his lying face.

And right after that, Twatter banned the poor woman—for her display of impudent disrespect for Our Beloved “President,” one presumes. Me, I think she nailed it. Kudos to Caleb Hull for defying the Dorstapo and resposting it.

Update! I keep calling the Biden Bugout “the gift that keeps on giving,” and damned if it doesn’t keep proving to be the case.

Biden Left Behind the Afghan Interpreter Who Helped to Rescue Him in 2008

Because of course he did.

Joe Biden has told a lot of stories over the years, most designed to puff himself up, and some of them with very little relationship to reality.

But there’s one story that he tells that does have some relationship to reality — that’s the story of having to land in a helicopter in the woods of Afghanistan in 2008. He often told the story to add to his alleged foreign policy credentials when he was running for office.

From WaPo:

“If you want to know where al Qaeda lives, you want to know where [Osama] bin Laden is, come back to Afghanistan with me,” he said on the campaign trail in October, just months after the February rescue. “Come back to the area where my helicopter was forced down…in the middle of those mountains. I can tell you where they are.”

Now, Joe being Joe, there’s puffery there — they weren’t exactly near al Qaeda, and their helicopter was “forced down” by a snowstorm, not by any enemy action. But, it was true that it had to land and there was potential danger, given he was a U.S. senator and there with two other U.S. senators — Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) and Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-NE).

But one of the people who came to his rescue was a man named Mohammed, who was a 36-year-old Afghan interpreter. Mohammed came out with members of the 82nd Airborne and three Blackwater SUVS from Bagram Air Field, driving hours through the snowstorm to help. Once he got there, he helped to ward off any locals until the military was able to get the Black Hawk out of there. Thanks to Mohammed and the rest, Joe Biden got out of there safely.

But now Mohammed is stuck, with his four children, in hiding from the Taliban, after years of helping the United States — even helping Biden himself.

“Hello Mr. President: Save me and my family,” Mohammed said to The Wall Street Journal, as the Americans pulled the military out. “Don’t forget me here…I can’t leave my house…I am very scared.”

Why after everything –after over 122,000 people that they supposedly got out — is Mohammed and his family still there? He’s the perfect example of the person that we gave our word to save, and there are likely few interpreters like him that could say they even saved Joe Biden.

Doesn’t matter a whit. If there’s one thing we know about the Big Guy after all these years, it’s that he doesn’t give a fart in a whirlwind about anything or anyone but himself. Now that he barely even knows where he is anymore, why on earth would that basic fact change all of a sudden?

Okay, there’s sooo much more to cover Biden Bugout-wise, I think I’ll just start up a fresh new post for it. No way I’ll ever get to it all, but hey, I’ll do what I can here.

Biden Bugout counteroffensive

Via TSM and WRSA: the Left tries to lend a hand with BaiDing’s pathetic “all Trump’s fault” blameshift, Correia flushes that shit down

(WARNING: this and the next link below are to Deep State propaganda mill Facebook).

For the first few days of the Afghanistan clusterfuck, most lefties were keeping their heads down. It was remarkably quiet. Well apparently they got their new download because I’ve seen the same ridiculous narrative suddenly show up a ton over the last 24 hours. Drive bys in nearly every post, all saying the same thing.

“This was all Trump’s plan/fault/date and there was nothing Biden could do.”

Okay, let’s destroy this bullshit narrative, because it’s fucking pernicious.

Did Trump plan on removing the military before the civilians? Did Trump plan on abandoning our secure air base in the middle of the night without even telling our allies? Did Trump’s plan include giving a list of all our friends, allies, and countrymen to the Taliban? Did Trump intend to give the Taliban biometric scanners and records so our friends could be identified? Did Trump plan on leaving our allies hanging so badly that he’d get censored by fucking Parliament? Did Trump’s plan include leaving billions of dollars of weapons and equipment behind for the Taliban? Did Trump plan on a chaotic clusterfuck of an evacuation from an unsecure airport with people falling off of airplanes? Would Trump command our soldiers to stay at the airport while the French, English, Poles, and Hungarians ran rescue missions into the city to get their people? Did Trump plan on trusting airport security to the motherfucking goat raping Taliban so that our people could get killed by suicide bombers?

And if so, if that was Trump’s plan all along… WHY THE FUCK DID BIDEN NOT COME UP WITH A BETTER PLAN?

Even if these lying ass bastards were right (they aren’t) and the worst foreign policy fuck up in our lifetimes was exactly what Trump wanted to do, the fact that the Biden administration didn’t come up with something better would still all be on their heads.

And I’m not saying Trump is blameless, oh no. The blame for this whole thing goes back two decades, republican and democrat, senior military leadership, the state department, and the intelligence community, lots of highly paid experts and PhDs in international relations all covering their asses together.

However, the blame for this clusterfuck, this one operation, this infuriating, embarrassing, goat rope of a withdrawal, is all on Joe Biden, his puppeteers, and the people who were gullible/selfish enough to install him into office.

You voted for this shit. We warned you he was corrupt and incompetent, and all the evidence showed he was corrupt and incompetent, but you kicked us off the internet, looked the other way, and now you fucking own this. Quit making excuses. Quit lying. Own it. Help fix it. Or shut the fuck up.

Larry expands on these thoughts in a follow-on post:

On one of my other posts somebody made the old joke about “don’t hold back, tell us how you really feel.” and Jack Wylder (who does know me really well in real life) told the guy that I actually was holding back.

Jack’s right, because if I said what I really think right now, I’d probably end up in jail. And I’m not talking facebook jail either. That’s how pissed off and disgusted I am today.

Worst part is, I don’t think most people realize just how terrible it’s probably going to get if we stay on this destructive, foolish, authoritarian path. The people no longer trust any of the institutions that they’re supposed to be able to count on. The “experts” don’t realize how much fury and tension has built up in regular, boring, law-abiding America. And our elite betters just keep telling us we’re stupid, and our concerns don’t matter.

Regular people see the lies, the corruption, and the fact that nobody is ever held accountable, even for things that they’d destroy regular people for. They’re not stupid. They’re just slow to action because of fear or inertia. The state forgets it has the monopoly on force only because the people have delegated that to the state, in the belief that the state would impartially obey the law, but once too much faith in the state is lost, the people can take it back.

We haven’t had record gun sales (especially to new people) because of Americans’ rosy outlook for their future.

Law abiding people are law abiding until they aren’t. I don’t know what stupid bullshit thing is going to finally push a critical mass of people over the edge, but I’m worried that we’re getting closer, and what comes after that terrifies me.

As well it might, and should. On the other hand, what other choice is there? What other option have they left us with, other than to submit unconditionally? Because this is where we are now:

EXCLUSIVE: Active Duty, Retired Naval Intelligence Members Told They Cannot ‘Disrespect’ Biden Over Afghanistan Debacle
Top leadership at the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) informed active duty and retired service members that they cannot condemn President Joe Biden amid the chaotic — and now deadly — pullout of American troops from Afghanistan.
In an email from the ONI’s Chief of Staff, ONI members were reminded that per a Uniform Code of Military Justice and Department of Defense Directive clause they cannot disrespect senior government leadership. This includes the President, Vice President, Congress, the Secretary of Defense, and more.

Per the same uniformed personnel policy, ONI members cannot participate in partisan political activity or distribute partisan political literature. An internal ONI member told The Daily Wire that these policies were more relaxed under the Trump administration and recalled retired officers condemning the former President.

Because of course it was. So, to sum up then: Real Americans are now under the guns of a US military establishment which has become so heavily politicized, so openly partisan, that it expressly forbids criticism of a clearly illegitimate, unfit, and treasonous “***President***” it nonetheless supports, even by its civilian employees…immediately after having permitted the same and worse throughout the entire term of a predecessor it didn’t like.

At this point, I see no use in reminding anybody involved of their oath of enlistment, wherein they swore to uphold the fucking US Constitution, not any particular elected official. They know full well that they’re in violation of said oath, and are flaunting their complete disregard for the principle behind it. And then there’s this:

Anybody think SSGT Flatrocker is in any way just joking around here? Or that she’d have any qualms about gunning down American dissidents, on US soil? Hell, the bull dagger seems positively eager to get this party started. I suspect she’s among a minority of her fellow soldiers, but I’m also damned sure she ain’t alone, and she and her like-minded colleagues, in whatever numbers, are unlikely in the extreme to leave any option for said dissidents but unconditional surrender. Whether or not we’re willing to kill for American freedom, I guarantee that she and hers are perfectly willing to do so for its polar opposite. That sound like something we can all live and be at ease with?

Finally, we come to this:

A US Marine was relieved of his command for publicly demanding senior US military brass take “accountability” for overseeing the execution of the pullout from Afghanistan after 13 troops died in Thursday’s suicide bombing.

“I have been relieved for cause based on a lack of trust and confidence…”  Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller posted on his social media page.

The soldier didn’t appear to be spiteful in the least.

“My chain of command is doing exactly what I would do… if I were in their shoes.”

The father of three who has served the US Marine Corps Infantry for 17 years first openly admitted that part of what compelled him to come forward to speak out was losing his comrades to the “mess going on [in Afghanistan].”

He questioned Marine Commandant Gen. David H. Berger, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark A. Milley and expressed heavy-hearted emotions that these superiors were “supposed to advise.”

“People are upset because their senior leaders let them down, and none of them are raising their hands and accepting accountability and saying, ‘We messed this up,” he said in the video testimonial while decked out in his Marine uniform and first reported by Fox News.

Scheller called on the leaders in charge of the Afghanistan mission to explain why soldiers died as a result of the architecture of the evacuation.

“I’m not saying we need to be in Afghanistan forever, but I am saying, did any of you throw your rank on the table and say, ‘Hey, it’s a bad idea to evacuate Bagram Airfield, a strategic airbase, before we evacuate everyone?’

“Did anyone do that?

“And when you didn’t think to do that, did anyone raise their hand and say, ‘We completely messed this up?'”

He then questioned the heart and honesty of the leaders of the Afghanistan withdrawal for “not holding up their end of the bargain.”

“Without that, we just keep repeating the same mistakes,” he said. “…I want to say this very strongly. I have been fighting for 17 years. I am willing to throw it all away to say to my senior leaders: I demand accountability.”

Now, I do understand about the importance of the chain of command and its role—proper channels, all that. There is a right time and place for this, as the saying goes, and Faceberg most definitely ain’t it. That’s not the point. This is: just as with LTC Scheller, we are all in an extremely fraught, dangerous and confusing situation. It’s my own belief that we’ve been purposely put here by treacherous scoundrels with evil intentions, but leave that aside for the moment.

Every day, it becomes more and more difficult to see the correct course of action, to identify friend from foe, to know who can be trusted and who cannot. Truth is falsehood, right is wrong, all is uncertainty and chaos. There is no clarity, no security or stability or constancy anywhere to be found. Even our mainstream churches have been corrupted.

Even the very earth under our feet feels as if it’s crumbling away, leaving us with no firm ground on which to stand. Is it any wonder, then, that LTC Scheller, in anguish and desperation, went about making his plea for justice and accountability in the way that he did? Can there be any realistic hope that we might find our way through and out of this insanity without bloodshed, and probably quite a lot of it? Steyn is discussing a different topic, but it’s related just the same.

Christmas has come early for Washington’s enemies. Literally. Kackling Kamala Harris was dispatched to Singapore to assure our allies that the hyperpower was not a complete laughingstock. Instead, she told her hosts that it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas is as kaput as the Karzai International gift shop:

‘If you want to have Christmas toys for your children, it might now be might be the time to start buying them, because the delay may be many, many months,’ she said.

Oh, my. Why would that be?

‘The climate crisis is fueling a lot of this. When we look at the stronger typhoons that have disrupted shipping lanes and sea level rise, which threatens port infrastructure as an example. So these are the many issues that are causing these disruptions.’

Uh-huh. So rising sea levels have washed away the massive container port at Long Beach, California, and the huge Toys R Us flotilla attempted to divert to Los Angeles but got swept away and down to Davy Jones’ locker by Typhoon Elmo. Did all 347 agencies of the “intelligence community” sign off on that?

Back in the real world, all America’s toys are made in China, in a huge Crap R Us warehouse behind the Wuhan Institute of Virology. And, as with everything else made under the supervision of Chairman Xi, there are suddenly strange, arbitrary disruptions to the supply chain, “supply chain” being a euphemism for the fact that global trade is a giant version of Kabal airport security, entirely reliant on our enemies. Like Blanche DuBois, Christmas depends on the kindness of strangers – and it would be asking too much to expect the Politburo, like the lads at the Taliban checkpoints, not to have some sport at our expense.

That’s another reason going to war with Chairman Xi over Taiwan would not end well: As the brass assured the Tommies in August 1914, it’ll all be over by Christmas – because the whinging brats on the home front aren’t going to put up with a stocking of tin soldiers, a satsuma and a rusting abacus.

I was thinking the other day of my appearance at the US Senate with the valiant Judith Curry, when we pushed back against a Massachusetts senator called Ed Markey for exceeding even the bounds of congressional codswallop…

After the above, I shall never be invited back to the Senate – because I “disrespected” Markey, a boob completely reliant on his staffers. (Is he fourth in line after Leahy? or is it Feinstein?) Don’t worry, I have no desire to go back – because it’s a crap dump of over-entouraged Emirs of Incumbistan entirely irrelevant to the world’s affairs.

But the whole ramshackle edifice rests on being taken seriously, and that is what I failed to do. I’m sure the Singaporeans listening to Khristmassy Kamala likewise knew it was bollocks on stilts, but somehow felt obliged to keep a straight face. So it goes with the court eunuchs of the press corps watching Biden slump over the lectern.

The excitable Mohammedans jumping up and down in the streets have never really needed to yell “Death to the Great Satan!” because the Grand Satan is doing a grand job of committing suicide. Not so long ago I mentioned Shirley Bassey’s reaction to Madonna’s title song at the premiere of the Bond film Die Another Day:

The opening titles and the song ended, and Dame Shirl yelled from the stalls, ‘Rubbish!’

Good for Shirley, and I wish there were more like her. That is a healthy reaction, and someone needs to say it to Kamala and Joe and Nancy and Thoroughly Modern Milley, Tailspin Taylor, Darth Plexi-Visor and all the rest. America has ceded global dominance to dark forces that nevertheless have an existential advantage: they are real, and animated by reality; we are utterly, contemptibly fake, warning of rising sea levels at Santa’s Grotto as halfwit goatherds blow us to kingdom come.

LTC Scheller’s last-ditch howl into the uncaring void defied the boundaries of proper procedure, wilfully breaking all the applicable rules and regulations. I deem him to be an honorable man and a good Marine nonetheless. Those rules and regulations were made for better times than these.

Without honor

A little reminder of who they really are, and what they’re really all about.

WASHINGTON — More than 200 retired generals and admirals endorsed Joe Biden for president in a letter published Thursday, saying he had the character and judgment to serve as commander-in-chief instead of President Donald Trump, who has failed “to meet challenges large or small.”

Some of the officers who signed the letter supporting Biden had retired only in the past few years, including Air Force Gen. Paul Selva, who served as vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under Trump before he retired in August 2019; Vice Adm. Gardner Howe, a Navy SEAL leader who also retired last year; and retired Adm. Paul Zukunft, who oversaw the Coast Guard until 2018.

The retired top brass signed the letter backing Biden along with nearly 300 other former national security officials and diplomats. William Webster, the former director of the CIA and the FBI, was among the signatories, along with five former defense secretaries: William Perry, William Cohen, Chuck Hagel, Leon Panetta and Ash Carter.

By law, military service members must remain apolitical while in uniform, but most senior officers stay out of the political arena even after they hang up their uniforms. Although the number of retired senior officers wading into politics has steadily increased over the past two decades, Thursday’s letter was notable for the sheer number of top brass from every branch of the military who chose to endorse Biden.

Some of the statements in this letter are nothing short of jaw-slackening, particularly in light of recent events.

The retired officers and officials said the country needs a principled, honest leader who shows empathy for fellow citizens, values alliances, makes informed decisions and takes personal responsibility.

“While some of us may have different opinions on particular policy matters, we trust Joe Biden’s positions are rooted in sound judgment, thorough understanding, and fundamental values,” they wrote.

“The current President (ie, Trump—M) has demonstrated he is not equal to the enormous responsibilities of his office; he cannot rise to meet challenges large or small. Thanks to his disdainful attitude and his failures, our allies no longer trust or respect us, and our enemies no longer fear us,” the letter says.

Like I said, jaw-slackening stuff. But then we plummet from the dishonest, the clueless, and the downright absurd straight on down into laff-riot territory.

Climate change continues unabated, as does North Korea’s nuclear program. The president has ceded influence to a Russian adversary who puts bounties on the heads of American military personnel, and his trade war against China has only harmed America’s farmers and manufacturers,” it says.

Taking that point by point:

  • Climate change is going to go right ON “continuing unabated” too, same as it has ever since this planet first GOT a climate, and will always do. That’s what climates DO, fool
  • Ironically enough, Trump had actually made fair progress in his efforts to forge a more productive relationship with the Hermit Kingdom, all of which has now been undone
  • Sorry to be the one to clue ya in on it, guys, but that “Russian bounty” bushwa has long since been exposed as a brazen lie—another diabolical stratagem from those fine, upstanding patriots at CIA for its own nefarious purposes
  • The “trade war with China” did nothing whatsoever like what you falsely claim it did; in all honesty, though, I wouldn’t mind one little bit if those responsible for killing off American manufacturing and industry by relocating it to Red China ARE “harmed” in the end—not just financially, but physically, in a way that they’ll never forget

All in all, the Biden Bugout shows that everybody would be much better off—yourselves emphatically included—if our ass-covering, baglapping, back-stabbing Officer Class shitweasels spent way more of their time and attention on actually winning a war now and then, and way less of it pimping Woke politics. What a refreshing change THAT would be, eh?

JJ Sefton, after quoting Shakespeare’s famous and beloved “First thing we do, let’s kill all the lawyers” advice, has the right of it: “Sorry, lawyers. You just lost your top spot.” Lawyers shouldn’t feel to bad about it, though; unlike US military and political “leadership” in the Ashcanistan debacle, the lawyers were supplanted fair and square, by an undeniably superior and more worthy opponent.

In the Court of the Kangaroo

The Stalinesque Jan 6 show trials might reveal more than the despicable reprobates running them want us to see.

The term “show trial” has been with us since the 1920’s, but gained wide currency during Stalin’s purges in the 1930’s. By definition, a show trial is a public trial in which the judicial authorities have already determined the guilt of the defendant. The point of the trial is to serve as a warning to political opponents of the regime, but also to serve as an expression of power by the dominant elements within the regime. It is all about violence capital within the ruling class.

From the outside, the show trial looks like a display of absolute power. After all, the condemned is usually required to confess to crimes that everyone, including his accusers, know he did not commit. The condemned is forced to humiliate himself as a way of showing his submission to power. Similarly, the people administrating the show trial must pretend to be enthusiastic believers in the proceeding. One element of the show trial is the manufactured appearance of unity.

In reality, show trials are an indication of conflict within the ruling regime, where the dominant camp feels the need to display their power. The point of it is to advertise the violence capital of the side holding the show trial. The reason Stalin had to kill so many old Bolsheviks was he needed to establish himself as the most violent member of the party, the one member willing to kill in order to maintain power. Stalin was making himself into the most dangerous man in a dangerous world.

The party purges and show trials of the 1930’s coincided with what amounted to a genocide of the Russian peasants. Forced collectivization, execution squads and mass deportations wiped out close to half the agricultural output. Confiscation of crops resulted in widescale famine. It was all part of the revolution from the top in order to turn Russia into an industrial nation. in that regard, it worked. Manufacturing soared and whole cities were created to produce industrial goods.

The point here is the show trial is the bit of the iceberg we can see from outside the ruling regime. The part we don’t see is the party struggle over how to move forward with their stated agenda. In the age of Covid, which started with the chants of “build back better”, it is not unreasonable to see the current show trials in this light. The new rounds of Covid panic, which are a prelude to an autumn lockdown, suggest there is a power struggle inside the party as to how best to force the great reset.

The 18-month campaign against Covid has seen trillions shifted from the white middle-class to elements of the ruling class. The tech oligopoly has profited wildly from the massive changes in society in the name of Covid. Small business has been devastated, much in the same way the kulaks were crushed by Stalin. On the other hand, similar to Stalin’s revolution from above, the great reset is not going to plan. The purge of Trumpism did not end resistance to the party.

Another clue here is the slow maneuvering to pass what is being called an infrastructure plan but is in reality the end of the two-party charade. The $4T plan working its way through the Senate will lock in the gains made by the Left over the last year and foreclose any electoral resistance. The show trial appears to be an effort to whip up support on the left in order to force some elements of the right to sign onto what amounts to their own death certificate.

In our sissified age, the show trial is more about the show than the trial. In this case, men with guns were sent out to arrest the protestors and lock them away in dungeons around the capital. The party leaders lack the courage to bring these people in for a show trial, so they remain incommunicado. Instead of having them shot and air brushed from the history books, they are a silent voice in the proceeding, a reminder to the right side that behind the performance is a will to power.

This is why people should not be fooled by the collection of sissies they rolled out in the first phase. Sure, the those mall cops reading speeches provided to them by the party were ridiculous. One of them was barely literate. The typical mall Santa sees tougher action than these wimps saw on January 6th, but that was never the point of this highly orchestrated drama. Stalin’s show trials were not about public support. The public supported the victims. It was about party politics.

That is the other parallel worth considering. The victims of Stalin were on the side of policies that enjoyed broad public support. Stalin was easily able to overcome this by having control of the instruments of state power. This is why voting harder is not a path out of the current crisis. Your vote does not matter. Instead, what comes next is always what comes next when a ruling elite believes they are the embodiment of the revolutionary dream. The revolution from above will continue.

Unless and until it is stopped, of course. Unfortunately, the situation has deteriorated to the point that there’s now only one way that can be accomplished.

Report

So the Commiecrat’s Jan 6th investigatory commission charade convened today and established itself forthwith as precisely the partisan shitshow all sane people anticipated, with “witness” after “witness” reduced to copious fake weeping for the cameras over the most hideous insurrectionary assault against the “citadel” of “our sacred democracy” in all of history.

Curiously, the name of the ONE SINGLE PERSON who died as a result of wanton violence that day was NOT uttered, not even once, by anyone present.

That is all.

The demon spawn of Crossfire Hurricane

It’s the gift that keeps on giving—to grifters, liars, frauds, and despots.

Five years ago this week, Glenn Simpson, co-founder of Fusion GPS, boarded a train in Washington, D.C. bound for Philadelphia. The Democratic National Convention was in chaos after WikiLeaks released emails that showed party officials rigged the primary process in favor of Hillary Clinton.

Bernie Sanders supporters were mutinous; Debbie Wasserman Schultz, then-head of the Democratic National Committee, resigned on July 25, 2016.

Simpson and his business partner hightailed it to the City of Brotherly Love to woo the media away from the escalating scandal. The well-connected pair met with top journalists and editors, including New York Times executive editor Dean Baquet, to spin a dark tale about the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia including rumors of prostitutes in a Moscow hotel.

It worked like a charm.

For the past five years, Donald Trump and the country have been subjected to various iterations of Crossfire Hurricane: Robert Mueller’s special counsel investigation, numerous U.S. Senate and House inquiries, the first and second impeachment trials, and countless media microaggressions sought to achieve what Comey’s FBI ultimately did not—the personal and political destruction of Donald Trump.

The Capitol breach probe, the title of the Justice Department’s “unprecedented” investigation into the events of January 6, is the latest version of Crossfire Hurricane. Tuesday’s maiden meeting of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s select committee on January 6 provides the stage where partisan actors will overdramatize what happened that day. Attention-seeking police officers will emote about the psychological trauma they suffer from the roughly four-hour disturbance, which, by the way, largely was stoked by police officers themselves.

Trump, the public would be told over and over, incited it all.

But this time, Donald Trump isn’t the only one in the crosshairs. Democrats, the media, and plenty of Republicans have leveraged every moment of January 6 not only to finish off the former president but also his supporters in Congress and across the nation. More than 500 Americans have been arrested and charged in connection to the Capitol protest, and Joe Biden’s Justice Department isn’t done yet.

The five-year arc from July 2016 to July 2021 is stunning.

It took less than five years from the time the Justice Department told a secret court that Carter Page was a foreign agent to the Justice Department telling a federal judge that a working-class Trump supporter from Florida is a domestic terrorist.

It took less than five years from the time the FBI ambushed National Security Advisor Michael Flynn in the White House to the FBI ambushing Iraq war veterans and Alaskan spa owners in their own homes. And it took less than five years from the time Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort was placed in solitary confinement under a pre-trial detention order to dozens of Trump supporters languishing in solitary confinement conditions in jail under pre-trial detention orders for mostly nonviolent crimes.

Meanwhile, those protected by the legal system and the news media roam free—and continue to rake in the dough.

As cases pile up against Trump pals and supporters, no charges are forthcoming for Hunter Biden. Ditto for the corrupt architects of Crossfire Hurricane. John Durham, the U.S. attorney appointed in 2019 to investigate the origins of Crossfire Hurricane, seemingly has disappeared. Trump-Russia collusion perpetrators such as Lisa Monaco and Avril Haines, not to mention Joe Biden himself, now hold powerful posts in the federal government so they can continue what they started five years ago.

And, like five years ago, when Glenn Simpson and the Democrats used Trump-Russia collusion to obscure a legitimate scandal and then destroy Donald Trump, the Capitol breach probe and January 6 select committee are the diversion from a real American scandal: a rigged presidential election that gave Joe Biden the White House. The media, as usual, is playing along, insisting January 6 was a terror attack comparable to 9/11 while claims of election fraud are a “Big Lie.”

The only question now is—will it work?

Well, given that it’s worked quite well so far, I’d say the chances are good-to-excellent that it will go right on working—for Them, a fine thing indeed. For Us…not so much. Commenter vwjack hits the nail on the head:

Crossfire Hurricane was an attempted coup, an act of treason. In a civilized country those responsible would be rounded up, blindfolded, placed up against a wall and shot.

True. Maybe we could do with a lot less civilization, and a lot more cold, hard justice.

Sink, sank, sunk

Tell me the one about “the most powerful military in the WORLD” again, Daddy. That one’s my favorite.

The other day, WRSA linked to a recent great read by Cdr Salamander, who’s probably known to Pentagon brassholes as Cdr. Cassandra, on just exactly how f**ked up the US Navy has gotten.

Before you head over to RTWT (which you should do), hydrate.

Because you’re either going to cry a river, or be vinegar-pissing mad, either of which is going to take a full tank.

He ain’t just whistling Dixie about that, either; the post opens with a jawdropping pic featuring what looks to me like a rusted-all-to-fuck-and-gone superstructure/bridge from a USN destroyer or perhaps heavy cruiser, just before the breakers turn the poor neglected thing into razor blades…and a CIWS* mount with its gun-muzzles rusted also! I swear to you, I can think of five or six former sailors and Marines in my personal circle of family and close friends who would jump at the chance to come out of retirement and deal out some old-school NCO justice to everyone responsible for such a shameful dereliction of duty.

TL;DR:

The Navy sucks ass right now, because going back to 2009 (perspicacious readers may note a specific change of administration that correlates with that timespan), all flag- and general-rank promotions were run through a filter of pre-woke communist civilian and military zampolits. Only ass-kissing toadies need apply. The current can’t-sail-can’t-shoot-can’t fly-can’t-fight genderfluid diversity Navy is how that plan worked out.

GIGO.

In short, when the only admirals the Squids promote are ass-kissing back-stabbing four-star fuck-ups, the entire Navy takes it in the neck. And. It. HAS.

You can’t even blame this on the blue-haired transgender enlisted, because the fault was letting them up the gangplank in the first place; everything else is just gravity working, plus time, and salt water. Both literal, and metaphorical.

There’s a simple cure, in about three parts. Sadly, Cdr Salmander’s once-wonderful comments seem to have gone away (we can guess why), so we offer our cure here.

Follows, Aesop’s simple three-step solution for unfucking the Navy—all of which identify and address the underlying issues correctly, would almost certainly work a treat, and which therefore have absolutely zero chance of being implemented. In sum:

Do that, and you’ll have the ass-kicking world-beating US Navy last seen about 1990, if not 1945, by Christmas.

Re-enlistment will hit 100%, and we’ll have the fleet we paid for. And certain countries thinking they’re the New Big Dog will be in for a rude awakening.

Do it not, and we may as well de-fund the Navy, and to save further time and effort, just send everyone in the U.S. free copies of Rosetta Stone Mandarin and Cantonese.

Some may think I’m too harsh on the sister service. On the contrary, a functional Navy is vital for US interests. Speaking as a former Marine, for naval gunfire support and amphibious transport, just for openers. Let alone the basic missions of carrier force projection, maintaining freedom of the seas by the surface fleet, and control of the shipping lanes and nuclear deterrence by the Silent Service.

We currently – and going back a decade and more – have a Navy full of Squids and Shitbirds. Starting at the E-ring in the Pentagon. Those at the bottom of the totem pole are that way precisely because of those at the top, whether by active sabotage, foolish encouragement, spineless apathy, or malign neglect and dereliction of duty. Period. Complicity should become a hanging-from-the-yardarm offense.

We need, and deserve, a Navy of sailors. History teaches harsh lessons to nations who fail to provide for their own defense, and we’re dangerously close to the shoals of learning that lesson, in a Pearl Harbor sort of way. Hoping it doesn’t happen is not a good plan.

Rather more drastic measures, just shy of actual guillotines, are needed. In haste.

Oh, I dunno now, let’s not be too hasty about ruling things out here. Myself, I’m very interested in your guillotine idea, and would like to subscribe to your newsletter.

Like I said, good, practical ideas all, with less than the proverbial snowballs chance of ever seeing the light of day in the Navy as currently constituted. What we have here is an endless Swamp circle-jerk: the necessary reform and rejuvenation of the Navy will require that its misbegotten, politicized, and self-serving higher-officer class be reformed first. That, in turn, can’t happen unless and until the civilian “leadership” is also reformed, top to bottom. And that means removing and replacing the sleazy, corrupt DC ProPol class which is ultimately responsible for the decline and decrepitude of not only the US military but the whole damned country…which reform, thanks to their accumulation of near-limitless power, can now be accomplished in but a single, radical, and distasteful way.

Link to CDR Salamander’s post, which you should also read, here, and to the report itself here.

*Close-In Weapons System, an either missile- or gun-based perimeter defense system in use on just about all of the larger USN ship classes to defend against enemy missile and/or aircraft attack. The one in Aesop’s pic looks to be the Phalanx, which is built around the venerable, trusty old Vulcan B61 20mm autocannon—a tried-and-true workhorse of a Gatling gun that was originally developed for the USAF in 1959, mounted in a multiplicity of aircraft ranging from the F4 Phantom, to the F111 Aardvark, to the F16 and -18, to the stupidly-abandoned F22 Raptor

With rust in the fucking barrels. Lord help us all.

Leggo my…ummm…

Lego? SRSLY?

A mere thirty-six hours after I interviewed Julie Kelly and Mollie Hemingway about the Lego Insurrection, the United States Government filed a “supplemental memorandum” with the Court:

In the original detention memoranda, the undersigned stated that law enforcement found a “fully constructed U.S. Capitol Lego set.” Please note that after a review of the photographs from the search, there appears to have been a miscommunication and that statement appears to be inaccurate. The Lego set was in a box and not fully constructed at the time of the search, as pictured below.

Judging from the picture below, “not fully constructed” is a characteristically DoJ evasion for “not constructed at all”. See for yourself: as we do with Mann vs Steyn and Katz vs Steyn, at SteynOnline we like to post the original court documents.

“The undersigned” is Assistant US Attorney Melissa Jackson. Inventing eye-catching “evidence” that catches the fancy of the world’s media would be a big no-no if you did it, but it appears to be standard operating procedure at the Department of “Justice”. And, oddly enough, all the news outlets that reported on the horror of the smoking Lego gun of the Lego Capitol have failed to correct their breathless reports about the “fully constructed” building.

The United States has more corrupt prosecutors than the rest of the “free world” combined: whether you’re talking about Cosby and Epstein or the FISA court, what would be a disqualifying “lack of candor to the tribunal” in most Common Law systems is just the way these guys do business.

Mr Morss’ latest bail hearing is tomorrow: There is no reason for him to be behind bars for another seven months. Which is the prosecutors’ earliest estimate of a trial date – although, of course, in the end there will be no trial: The point of gaoling someone for over a year supposedly to await his constitutionally guaranteed speedy trial is that it’s much easier to lean on him to “settle”. There’s a reason the DoJ wins 97 per cent of its cases without trial.

This is an evil and indefensible system. To those rock-ribbed conservative talk-show hosts insisting that they know all the good patriotic men and women at the FBI and it’s just a few bad apples at the top, I ask again: Where is there a single G-man who has objected to the Bureau’s degeneration into enforcers for the Deep State? Browbeating George Papadopoulos’ wife into losing her baby. Abusing Roger Stone’s elderly wife. Stringing along with the #BLM fake noose. And now faking headline bollocks out of a Lego set. Every FBI agent has gone along with all of the above.

It would be nice if some of those so-called Republican legislators demanded some accountability from federal “justice”, wouldn’t it?

Ah, but they’re waiting for the Durham Report! Durham will get ’em, wait and see! Any day now!

Oh, you just go ahead and snark away, smart guy. You’ll be talking out the other side of your mouth after we retake Congress in ’22, then re-elect Trump (again) in ’24.

Hey, it could happen. In another country, on another planet, in another galaxy, in another dimensional interstice. You betcher!

Veil of secrecy ripped asunder

The evidence mounts.

For the past six months, as Congress has proposed legislation to reform  police departments across the country, the Capitol Police has stiff-armed government watchdogs, journalists and even lawyers for Babbitt, who have sought the identity of the officer and additional details about the shooting. The USCP still refuses to release his name, in stark contrast to recent high-profile police shootings around the nation.

In February, USCP issued a press release promising to “share additional information once the investigation is complete.” But Justice Department investigators closed their probe in April, clearing the officer of criminal wrongdoing in Babbitt’s death, which the medical examiner ruled a homicide. And last month, the D.C. Police — which shares jurisdiction with the Capitol Police and has led the investigation into Babbitt’s shooting — concluded its own internal review of the shooting without making any findings, according to spokeswoman Kristen Metzger.Still, USCP continues “stonewalling the public,” according to the head of the police union.

“That’s my department’s attorneys for you,” United States Capitol Police Labor Committee Chairman Gus Papathanasiou told RealClearInvestigations. “There is definitely a transparency issue. The department needs to answer those questions. They are stonewalling the public.”

Withholding the name of the officer who fired the fatal shot — the only round fired by anyone during the four-hour siege — has bred speculation on the Internet and led to the mistaken identification of at least one officer. USCP Special Agent David Bailey was wrongly fingered as the shooter on social media and conservative news sites.

Now a new name has surfaced in the Babbitt imbroglio — Lt. Michael L. Byrd — and while USCP Communications Director Eva Malecki won’t confirm he is the shooter, in this case she isn’t denying it.

In a little-noticed exchange, Byrd was cited by the acting House sergeant at arms during a brief discussion of the officer who shot Babbitt at a Feb. 25 House hearing. Both C-SPAN and CNN removed his name from transcripts, but CQ Transcripts — which, according to its website, provides “the complete word from Capitol Hill; exactly as it was spoken” — recorded the Capitol official, Timothy Blodgett, referring to the cop as “Officer Byrd.” His name is clearly audible in the videotape of the hearing (see video embed further below).

Byrd appears to match the description of the shooter, who video footage shows is an African American dressed that day in a business suit. Jewelry, including a beaded bracelet and lapel pin, also match up with photos of Byrd.

Following the shooting, Byrd’s Internet footprint was scrubbed, including his social media and personal photos.

Phone calls and emails to Byrd, who lives in Maryland where he remains on paid administrative leave, went unanswered. His attorney would neither confirm nor deny that the 53-year-old Byrd is the shooter, and warned that disclosing his name poses a safety risk to the officer.

Exactly as it damned well should. Deep State officialdom may be willing to let this trigger-happy oxygen thief get away with murder—quite literally—but there’s absolutely no reason for the rest of us to go along with it, and countless reasons not to. It’s as if these over-entitled, oblivious Deep State orcs were trying to write the manual on how to guarantee that what used to be known in the Old West as “vigilante justice” makes a strong comeback. Want to drive an increasingly put-upon populace into taking the law into their own hands? This is one sure-fire way to do it, assholes.

Unlike other police forces, USCP does not have to disclose records on police misconduct.

More than 700 complaints were lodged against Capitol Police officers between 2017 and 2019, but brass won’t say what the alleged violations were or how the department resolved them. They also won’t disclose how many complaints are in any individual officer’s file.

While the USCP has an inspector general, he does not make reports public, unlike other agency watchdogs. His report on Jan. 6 remains secret.

Critics say the 193-year-old agency is in dire need of reform.

Gee, ya think?

They point out that even the Secret Service complies with FOIA requests and releases reports and audits by its internal watchdog. The Capitol Police, in contrast, won’t even reveal how many sworn officers it has on hand.

“Unlike the [D.C. Police] and the vast majority of local police forces, the USCP provides little public information about its activities,” complained Daniel Schuman, policy director of the D.C. watchdog group Demand Progress, in a recent letter to the heads of the congressional panels who have oversight authority over USCP.

D.C. law requires police to identify the officer involved in a police shooting within five business days after an officer-involved death or serious use of force. Officials must publicly release the names and body-camera recordings of all officers involved in the death or use of force. The law does not cover the Capitol Police, however, even though D.C. Police work in conjunction with that agency on homicide cases and fatal traffic accidents.

The Babbitt shooting has thrust this double standard into the national spotlight.

As well it should have. Hopefully, the piss-poor publicity can help to prevent the poor woman’s death-by-State-atrocity from proving to have been in vain.

Mark Schamel, the Washington attorney defending the officer, warned that revealing his client’s name could put his life in jeopardy. He said the officer has received “credible” death threats and has gone into hiding.

Aww, that’s too bad. Hate to hear it. Karma’s a real bitch sometimes, ain’t it?

In case anybody missed it, the killer’s name is Lt Michael L Byrd. Might want to make a note of it; then, if it pops up in future news reports or something, you’ll already know who it is.

The whole enchilada

Ace links to an absolutely brilliant theory-of-everything thread, which I ran through ThreadReader so you don’t have to. CAUTION: excessively lengthy excerpt follows, for which I make no apology because there was just no way around it.

I think I’ve had discussions w/enough Boomer-tier Trump supporters who believe the 2020 election was fraudulent to extract a general theory about their perspective. It is also the perspective of most of the people at the Capitol on 1/6, and probably even Trump himself.

Most believe some or all of the theories involving midnight ballots, voting machines, etc, but what you find when you talk to them is that, while they’ll defend those positions w/info they got from Hannity or Breitbart or whatever, they’re not particularly attached to them.

Here are the facts – actual, confirmed facts – that shape their perspective: 1) The FBI/etc spied on the 2016 Trump campaign using evidence manufactured by the Clinton campaign. We now know that all involved knew it was fake from Day 1 (see: Brennan’s July 2016 memo, etc).

These are Tea Party people. The types who give their kids a pocket Constitution for their birthday and have Founding Fathers memes in their bios. The intel community spying on a presidential campaign using fake evidence (incl forged documents) is a big deal to them.

Trump supporters know the collusion case front and back. They went from worrying the collusion must be real, to suspecting it might be fake, to realizing it was a scam, then watched as every institution – agencies, the press, Congress, academia – gaslit them for another year.

Worse, collusion was used to scare people away from working in the administration. They knew their entire lives would be investigated. Many quit because they were being bankrupted by legal fees. The DoJ, press, & gov’t destroyed lives and actively subverted an elected admin.

This is where people whose political identity was largely defined by a naive belief in what they learned in Civics class began to see the outline of a Regime that crossed all institutional boundaries. Because it had stepped out of the shadows to unite against an interloper.

It’s hard to describe to people on the left (who are used to thinking of gov’t as a conspiracy… Watergate, COINTELPRO, WMD, etc) how shocking & disillusioning this was for people who encourage their sons to enlist in the Army, and hate ppl who don’t stand for the Anthem.

They could have managed the shock if it only involved the government. But the behavior of the corporate press is really what radicalized them. They hate journalists more than they hate any politician or gov’t official, because they feel most betrayed by them.

The idea that the press is driven by ratings/sensationalism became untenable. If that were true, they’d be all over the Epstein story. The corporate press is the propaganda arm of the Regime they now see in outline. Nothing anyone says will ever make them unsee that, period.

This is profoundly disorienting. Many of them don’t know for certain whether ballots were faked in November 2020, but they know for absolute certain that the press, the FBI, etc would lie to them if there was. They have every reason to believe that, and it’s probably true.

Time Mag told us that during the 2020 riots, there were weekly conference calls involving, among others, leaders of the protests, the local officials who refused to stop them, and media people who framed them for political effect. In Ukraine we call that a color revolution.

Throughout the summer, Democrat governors took advantage of COVID to change voting procedures. It wasn’t just the mail-ins (they lowered signature matching standards, etc). After the collusion scam, the fake impeachment, Trump ppl expected shenanigans by now.

Think back: Stories about Trump being pissed on by Russian prostitutes and blackmailed by Putin were promoted as fact, and the only evidence was a document paid for by his opposition and disavowed by its source. The NY Post was banned for reporting on true information.

The reaction of Trump ppl to all this was not, “no fair!” That’s how they felt about Romney’s “binders of women” in 2012. This is different. Now they see, correctly, that every institution is captured by ppl who will use any means to exclude them from the political process.

And yet they showed up in record numbers to vote. He got 13m more votes than in 2016, 10m more than Clinton got! As election night dragged on, they allowed themselves some hope. But when the four critical swing states (and only those states) went dark at midnight, they knew.

a) The entrenched bureaucracy & security state subverted Trump from Day 1, b) The press is part of the operation, c) Election rules were changed, d) Big Tech censors opposition, e) Political violence is legitimized & encouraged, f) Trump is banned from social media.

They were led down some rabbit holes, but they are absolutely right that their gov’t is monopolized by a Regime that believes they are beneath representation, and will observe no limits to keep them (from) getting it. Trump fans should be happy he lost; it might’ve kept him alive.

Believe it or not, there’s still a lot I left out, of which you should read the all. If anybody has done a better job of pulling together all, and I do mean ALL, of the events of the last five years than this, I’ve yet to run across it. Bravo, MartyrMade, and a humble tip of the ol’ chapeau to you for this most excellent work. In the end, it all boils down to Ace’s closer:

It’s time to start talking seriously about the crisis of illegitimacy in the former America republic, and what exactly the subjects of the Ruling Class — not the citizens, we’re not that, we’re subjects, and we will pretend no longer — will do about it.

Actually, it’s way PAST time. We’ve been doing precisely that here at CF for quite a while now.

Update! JD Rucker picks up on this masterpiece, correctly identifying it as a must-read.

Must-Read Twitter Thread: Here’s Why We KNOW the 2020 Election Was Stolen
Twitter is general(ly) a cesspool of bad ideas argued by people with even worse takes on those ideas. The days of being entertained by Twitter disappeared when Donald Trump and tens of thousands of conservative Twitter accounts were banned in January. Occasionally, a gem still pops up.

This is one of them. Darryl Cooper, AKA @MartyrMade, is a podcaster who had a Twitter thread go viral with 13k retweets and 20k likes of the first Tweet alone. Normally I post the thread in its original form, but this one is 36-Tweets long. There’s also a good chance it will be deleted because it makes very cogent arguments of not only why millions of Trump supporters believe the 2020 election was stolen, but also why we are justified to believe it.

Did massive, widespread voter fraud happen? Yes, we believe it did. But even those who do not believe so should read this thread to understand why our perspectives on the election will not be swayed by those who have made lying to us their profession.

Indeed we won’t, nor should we be. At this late date, anyone gullible enough to place the tiniest iota of trust in anything coming from the maw of FederalGovCo is too damned stupid to figure out how to tie their own shoes. Even if they have Velcro straps instead of laces on ’em.

Updated update! I already knew that Rucker is the proprietor of the NOQReport portal blog, which I’ve had in my bookmarks since, like, forever. What I didn’t realize until just now was that I hadn’t installed NOQR in the Portal category in Ye Olde Blogrolle yet. Oversight duly addressed, with a big fat mea culpa and most humble apologies to JD.

Tip of an ugly iceberg

Y’know, although I endorsed it myself only a few nights ago, I’ve been mulling over the idea that the FBI might have intentionally acted as an instigator of the Jan 6th “riots” since then, and after careful consideration I begin to feel the charge is preposterous. I mean, seriously, people; this outrageous slander against the nation’s federal police bureau just doesn’t hold up under close scrutiny. How could it, really? It might be something else altogether if the FBI had some kind of history of doing such things, but I’m unaware of any…that is, there’s absolutely no record of…rather, let me just say that…uhhh…uhhhhh…ummmmm…

Ruh roh.

By now, it is a distinct possibility that many participants in the January 6 “riot” were associated with the government in some manner, be it as informants or full-blown agents.

America’s regime media is deeply committed to the narrative of January 6 as a planned “insurrection,” so they have flailed desperately to debunk reporting by Revolver as well as Fox’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight.” Twitter’s “neutral” “aggregators” made a cringeworthy clarification that only further bolstered Revolver’s claims.

Revolver will continue to report out the story of the Capitol incident and the federal government’s potential role in instigating it. But there is another reason to suspect federal involvement in January 6: The federal government has a decades-long history of this exact behavior. Revolver has already reported extensively on the phony “plot” against Gretchen Whitmer in Michigan, where five out of eighteen core plotters were actually connected to the federal government. But there are countless additional incidents, all over the country, stretching all the way back to the 1950s.

Now, for your edification, we would like to present five of the most egregious incidents of the federal government inciting the crimes it claims to be fighting.

Hope those courageous Revolver journalists are being conscientious about checking six after this.

Update! Julie Kelly puts paid to all that.

The Steele saga is just one recent example why the Federal Bureau of Investigations does not deserve the benefit of the doubt when considering its potential involvement in the January 6 protest at the Capitol. In fact, the entire Russiagate scandal—whose high-level perpetrators remain unpunished to this day—should be a stark reminder of the extent to which the nation’s top law enforcement officials will go to take down anyone they perceive as political enemies.

If the past is prologue, there’s no reason to consider the FBI’s involvement a “conspiracy theory” rather than a solid likelihood. How many times have we been down this road over the past five years—assured that claims about the FBI’s malfeasance and abuse were “conspiracy theories” only later to learn they were true?

We were told the FBI did not use spies to infiltrate the Trump campaign. They did. We were told the FBI didn’t ambush and frame former National Security Advisor Mike Flynn. They did.

We were told the FBI would not mislead the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. They did. We were told the FBI wouldn’t doctor official reports or correspondence. They did. We were told the FBI would never use a sketchy Russian national to bolster the collusion case against Trump. They did.

Sadly, the FBI is one of the least trustworthy agencies in the federal government—and that’s saying a lot. The stench of Jim Comey’s deceitful reign has irrevocably tarnished the reputation of the FBI for tens of millions of Americans.

The similarities between Russiagate and the Capitol “attack” are becoming increasingly clear. The initial narrative about what happened that day has steadily crumbled over the past five months.

Meanwhile, Joe Biden’s Justice Department, working in tandem with the FBI, is prosecuting roughly 500 Americans in connection with January 6, many for misdemeanors such as trespassing or disorderly conduct. Prosecutors continue to ask the court to keep defendants behind bars awaiting delayed trials; dozens languish in solitary confinement conditions in a D.C. jail.

For years, the FBI has made no secret of its contempt for Americans on the Right, particularly supporters of the president whom the agency attempted to destroy. Suspecting their integral role in what happened on January 6 isn’t conspiratorial; it’s essential.

Indeed it is. Anybody even slightly familiar with the FBI’s long, sordid history of corruption, manipulation, and brazen criminality already knows it.

Tangentially related update! Dirty, clear to the bone.

Gen. Tom McInerney: Here’s Why the Chinese Top Intel Head Defected to the DIA, NOT the CIA or FBI
General McInerney, who served as the number three guy in the Pentagon, has spoken to contacts about this incident and understands why Dong chose to go to the DIA instead of other agencies that normally work with defectors.

“The CIA and the FBI, the Department of Justice and other organizations are dirty,” he said. “And we have Deep Staters there that have their interest, not the nation’s interests.”

Dong’s top focus was on the thousands of assets China has working inside the United States government and across all sectors of American society in general. General McInerney pointed out that Dong Jinwei defected to the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). Historically, defecting foreign intelligence officers defect to the CIA or the FBI.

“He went specifically to the DIA, which tells me in his analysis the DIA has not been tinged with dirt,” he said. As McInerney has stated on numerous occasions in the past, he detailed how anyone with knowledge of what drives the CIA, NSA, FBI, and other Deep State institutions would never choose them to engage with out of fear for their lives.

Gen. McInerney believes that Dong Jinwei feared that he would be killed if he went to the CIA or FBI, as it was the leaders of those agencies who — under Obama’s orders — sold the signals-intercept capability known as ‘Hammer and Scorecard” to China, probably for at least $100 million. Adding to his fear is the knowledge he possesses of the U.S. Government-Democrat-CPP cooperation that delivered the Obama/Fauci-funded Wuhan Flu to the United States in what will soon be proven to be a direct biological attack on the U.S., a type of attack that normally would be considered a causus belli.

“Dong was in charge of all the agents globally for the Chinese Communist Party and for Communist China, specifically the U.S.,” Gen. McInerney continued. He said that Dong’s knowledge of not only the biological attack but also the CCP’s complicity in the 2020 presidential election fraud could be another reason he chose the DIA. Could the DIA be the “least bad guy” within the Deep State apparatus? If anyone would know, it would be Dong.

With intimate knowledge of the Wuhan Flu as a biological attack as well as the CCP’s involvement in 2020 election fraud, Dong Jinwei may be the most important defector in world history.

Another guy who needs to be checking six pretty much continually.

“The Supreme Court’s Day of Reckoning is Coming”

Think so, do ya?

The election of 2020 is going to lay bare the dereliction of the Supreme Court for all to see. The COVD-19 pandemic gave numerous state election officials an excuse to implement far-reaching changes to our election processes. Those changes obviously made our systems vulnerable to fraud. States implemented massive mail-in balloting at the same time they relaxed ballot security and voter identification. They even extended the voting periods — to give the criminals more time to commit their fraud.

All these changes were unconstitutional. The Constitution clearly gives the various state legislatures the authority to define how their elections will be conducted — not state election officials. Election officials are only empowered to conduct elections within the rules set forth by their respective legislatures — except, apparently, during a pandemic. There must be a pandemic emanation hidden in a penumbra of the Constitution we didn’t know about. Alarmed that the changes would invite fraud, various organizations filed lawsuits to stop the changes.

The Supreme Court declined to get involved. It ruled that the plaintiffs lacked standing because nobody had been harmed — yet. Since the election hadn’t happened, nobody was damaged, and there was no case to be heard. They were thinking like a civil court, not the defenders of the Constitution they are sworn to be. It was a cowardly way to stay out of the political controversy.  Unfortunately, it also missed an opportunity to defend the Constitution, which was clearly under attack.

The Supreme Court avoided involvement in the election because they wanted to stay out of the controversy — they didn’t want to be bullied by the Democrats or the media. There are other possible motives, but they’re even more disturbing. Cowing to bullies will not avoid conflict. Bullies prey on weakness. One has to either stand up to them eventually or accept servitude. Every kid on the playground has learned that lesson by the 8th grade. Apparently, John Roberts hasn’t. Each time Chief Justice Roberts has acceded to the bullies, he’s made the court’s future challenge greater.

Ruling that last-minute ad-hoc election changes were unconstitutional would have been relatively straightforward — but the court didn’t. Hearing the election fraud evidence and adjudicating the result would have created a political crap-storm — but it would have been the right thing to do. What will become of the court’s reputation if it becomes obvious that the election was stolen and rather than stand up, it sat down?

An April poll by Rasmussen Reports found that 51% of the population believes that fraud affected the election outcome. Does Roberts grasp the significance of that number? It’s the percentage of the population who believe the Supreme Court was derelict in defending the Constitution. If John Roberts wanted to defend the court, perhaps he should have considered the pursuit of the truth rather than avoidance of controversy.

A recent Ipsos poll found that 63% of the public thinks it’s time to impose term limits on Supreme Court Justices. The public isn’t stupid. It recognizes that the Supreme Court needs to be taken to the woodshed. The next few months will say a lot about the Supreme Court. Will it correct course, or will it embrace servitude to the mob?

I reject your premise, which is that the USSC is somehow above being tainted by the same corruption and chicanery its partner-branches of Amerika v2.0’s federal government have been devoured by. Since it too is actually a fully-paid up participating member of that poisoned and patently illegitimate entity, rather than some lofty, unconquerable repository for the last desperate hopes of Team Liberty—the Alamo of Constitutional principle, let’s call it—it most assuredly is not. By its own recent actions, it has shown itself to be not one iota more honorable, respectable, or worthy of trust than its two grubby siblings. Whatever it once may have been, there is now no relief coming from the Court—NONE. The entire government has declared itself an Enemy Of The People, including the Court. It’s time and past time for Real Americans to open their eyes and face that sad and sorry fact.

Put-up job Part the Second

As promised, the Sundance analysis I mentioned last night.

The Tucker Carlson Solution to Deal With a Corrupt Intelligence Apparatus and FBI Will Not Work, Here’s Why
Last night and tonight, Fox News host Tucker Carlson led off the show with discussion of the “January 6th Insurrection” narrative.

On Tuesday night Carlson and Darren Beattie suggested some form of senate Church Committee 2.0 should be initiated in order to investigate the U.S. intelligence community, and specifically the FBI for their role in coordinating or facilitating the January 6th events.  On Wednesday night Carlson again recommended the U.S. congress should start investigating.

Putting aside the background motives of Tucker Carlson; and accepting he is making these recommendations in good faith; there is a fatal flaw in his suggestion – and the support from anyone else who would suggest the same or similar approach.  The fatal flaw is an obvious one that unfortunately too many people just will not, and cannot, accept…

The Legislative Branch of the federal government is part of the Intelligence Community corruption.  The oversight “gang of eight” (pictured above), are enablers and participants in the corrupt endeavors that Carlson wants them to investigate.

The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) led by Chairman Adam Schiff, and the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) led by Chairman Mark Warner, are part of the institutional corruption.  This is the problem, the core issue in the background, that too few people are recognizing as they begin to see the corruption within the intelligence community.  The legislative branch and the executive branch are working together; there is NO functioning oversight.

The American people cannot currently expect congress to investigate the Intelligence Community (Church Committee 2.0) in the same way as historical reference may suggest, because the Senate (SSCI) is working in coordination with the exact corrupt intel system they are supposed to oversee. In essence, the *check* in the system is facilitating the intel corruption.

I can give you examples, actual empirical examples, of how this is currently constructed. We have recent references, several of them, to prove the Senate Intel Committee (SSCI) is working hand-in-glove with the agencies they are supposed to oversee. However, CTH is not alone in this depth of understanding; the executive branch of the United States government also knows this, and their behavior actually highlights their intent to cover up this issue.

Be sure to read the rest of it, and all of this one as well. Taken all together, it adds up to my oft-stated maxim: However suspicious or cynical you may think you are about FederalGovCo corruption, self-dealing, collusion and collaboration, and criminal malfeasance, the truth is that you are almost certainly nowhere NEAR cynical enough.

What if…?

As if further proof were even needed.

So let’s imagine that somehow, integrity rules the day, and both states under audit produce rock-solid proof that the election in their states was stolen; what then? Technically, nothing. Arizona had 11 electoral votes and Wisconsin had 10. Together they represent 21 electoral votes and Joe Biden was declared the winner by 74 votes. In order for anything to change there must be a difference of at least 38 votes flipped from Biden to Trump.

But let’s say even one of those states produces demonstrable proof of election fraud. At that point the Republican legislatures of other battleground states that exhibited strange activity on election night… Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Michigan would be under a great deal of pressure to look into the integrity of their own elections. Suddenly, with an additional 52 electoral votes in play, things look a bit different.

Let’s further assume that the legislatures of Georgia and Pennsylvania determine that there was sufficient fraud in their states to flip the state’s vote to Donald Trump. With Arizona and Wisconsin, those states would bring the total to 57 electoral votes flipped from Biden to Trump, changing the totals to 249 to 289 and leaving Trump with a majority.

What then?

Guess. Go on, guess. I triple-dog dare ya. STRONG HINT: Nothing. More precisely: Nothing we don’t make happen ourselves.

Once the fraud has been demonstrated, America is going to find itself in a situation where it doesn’t appear that there is any Constitutional remedy in place. Are Americans simply supposed to acquiesce to the theft and allow the fraudulent president to be the actual president for the next three years?

It’s what The Power expects us to do, certainly. We’ll see before a whole lot longer how that works out for them.

What can be done when the Constitution doesn’t address a bastardization of the constitutional process? Does a military junta take control and put Donald Trump back in the Oval Office? Umm… No! Does the 25th Amendment somehow come into play? No, because that would not remedy the situation. Does Biden resign? Unlikely, and again, it wouldn’t remedy the situation.

A Convention of the States as outlined by Article V of the Constitution? Maybe, but that’s a long process and would likely not occur within the timeframe of the next election.

How about a shadow government? Does Donald Trump build a replica of the Oval Office at Mar-a-Lago and show the world what a real president would do in whatever circumstances the imposter president finds himself in?

Do true patriots take to the streets and use violence and intimidation to wreak havoc from sea to shining sea the way BLM and Antifa did last year, and maintain it until the Democrats capitulate?

None of those ideas is an ideal solution. An ideal solution would essentially reverse the inauguration of Joe Biden and inaugurate Donald Trump as the rightful president.

When, in this life, has there ever been an “ideal solution” to anything, pray tell? Knowing that, why would any serious, reasonable adult waste a moment of his time imagining that one might be found, in a situation as far from “ideal” as this one?

Many pundits are suggesting that Republicans should dig deep and focus on 2022, both at the local and the state level so that the GOP can take back the House and the Senate. While that’s true, it’s not sufficient because it doesn’t address the fraud in the first place.

What a laugh. It’s a fool’s hope, a pathetic and cowardly attempt to avert one’s eyes from unpleasant reality—akin, in a way, to a child stuffing his fingers in his ears, closing his eyes tight shut, and looudly singing “tra-la-la-la-la” to make the monsters under the bed go away and leave him alone. In this case, unfortunately, the monsters are all too real. Trusting that the self-same brazen mountebanks who corrupted the system in the first place will see the error of their ways, repent of their flimflammery, and make things right is worse than a waste of time.

If it’s possible to steal the presidency with impunity, what office in the nation is beyond reach? The simple answer is none, and that matters because the government has police power and once the Constitution becomes superfluous, the coercive powers of government suddenly have no limits. And for those who say that the Constitution still stands, the Constitution is nothing more than a piece of paper. It is the citizens’ loyalty to that Constitution and the system built upon it that make it work.

Annnnd bingo, there we have the hard nut of the matter. We were warned—explicitly, repeatedly, and presciently—by the Founders that dropping our guard against tyranny would bring us to this awful place. They were correct. We must hope that enough of us are worthy of their heritage to turn this dismal tide.
