Bolshie dictatorship, with all the trimmings

Oh cool, not only will we be getting gulags, but we’re gonna have ourselves a Terror too!

A while back, I wrote about dystopias, but the viciousness and utter vindictiveness of the Democrats exceed by far my own dismal expectations. It is, of course, true to form – Marxist form, that is – and shows signs of being patterned on what the victorious “Reds” (read “blues” here) meted out to the defeated “Whites” after Russia’s Civil War.

Is there any way this could have been averted, without going into all of the “what ifs” of the past four years? Only one, that I can see, and several of us pointed it out earlier to no avail. This was for then-President Trump to take a tough stand when the riots broke out in late May, all but a few in Democrat-run cities. Give the mayors and the governors of those states 24 hours to bring them under control. If they failed to do so (which they did), invoke the Insurrection Act, and arrest a dozen or so of the most outrageous mayors and governors for sedition.

Then send Marines and regular Army soldiers (not National Guard) to some of the most violent cities with orders to crush the insurrection. The media would have howled, but it howled anyway. The riots would likely have ended bloodily – dead looters and arsonists are not good repeat offenders. And the Democrats would have been too terrified to have tried to so openly steal the 2020 election – it is unbelievable how unapologetically blatant the election fraud was.

But Trump hesitated, and we all are lost. I habitually prefer to believe that most conundrums have workable solutions, but sometimes they don’t, and this is one such time. I don’t want to hear any more about a popular uprising or some distant psyops. Men and women who failed to fight for their children and their cities and their Constitution, aren’t good candidates for taking up arms against an elected government – legitimate or not – with control of the armed forces and intelligence services.

We may have contested elections of a sort in 2022, and who knows? Perhaps even something in 2024 and later for the sake of appearances. I just wonder what shape the coming Long Night will take, and how those of us who love our country will rationalize our abysmal failure to forestall the “Blue Terror.”

Not a problem, not at all. For those pitiful souls desperate enough to still be clinging to the old, busted notion of ‘MurkaFreedom!!™—well, they’ll always find a way to keep the faith somehow. And the rest of us are going to have much more pressing concerns to deal with.

Murder, Inc

UNEXPECTED!™

The Capitol police officer who shot a woman attempting to breach the speaker’s lobby during the Capitol Hill riot is reportedly not likely to face charges after a preliminary decision by investigators in the case.

The Deep State murderer, whose identity is and will forever remain a closely-guarded secret, will almost certainly get some kind of medal for his “bravery.”

Babbitt, a 35-year-old Air Force veteran and Qanon supporter, was climbing through a window that had been shattered by protesters when she was killed.

The Justice Department civil rights investigation into the shooting was a routine procedure following the use of deadly force by a police officer in Washington D.C.

The investigators have made an initial determination not to file charges. Justice Department officials need to make a final determination, the Journal said.

During the breach of the Capitol, hundreds of rioters forced their way into the building and congressional offices.

Babbitt and others reached the door to the speaker’s lobby and bashed the windows with sticks and helmets attempting to reach the members of Congress inside.

Dozens of rioters were ready to storm into the lobby and wreak havoc.

“That’s where he drew the line in the sand,” a fellow Capitol Police officer told the paper about the shooting.

Such courageous, valiant warriors, with their lines in the sand and all! Here’s a disturbing photo of the violent, bloodthirsty horde of Trumpsurrectionists caught in the act of blaspheming the Citadel Of Democracy:

KavanaughMob.jpg

Ooops, my bad! That’s a photo of an ACTUAL violent mob invading the Capitol, as they did two Senate office buildings and the USSC as well—IN 2018, hoping to derail the Kavanaugh confirmation circus. Around three hundred shitlib loons ended up being detained briefly that day; strangely enough, not one of them was killed. Surber notes a few other then-and-now divergences:

“The vast majority of the arrests, 293, were a result of protests in the Hart Senate Office Building, where protesters crowded in the atrium. Loud chants could be heard throughout the building, which is structured so the hallways of each floor open up and look out onto the first floor.

“Those arrested in Hart were charged with crowding, obstructing or incommoding, according to Capitol Police. Another nine people were arrested on the fourth floor of Dirksen Senate Office Building and charged with unlawful demonstrations.”

CNN also called the crowd protesters.

On Wednesday, CNN called pro-Trump protesters who stormed the Capitol “rioters.”

NPR called them “far-right insurrectionists.”

In 2018, NPR called the anti-Kavanaugh crowd “demonstrators” and titled its coverage of the storming: ” ‘We Believe Survivors’: Demonstrators Throng Capitol Hill To Protest Kavanaugh”

CNN gushed in 2018, “Amy Schumer and Emily Ratajkowski were arrested in Kavanaugh protests.”

The story included a tweet from Ratajkowski, who tweeted, “Today I was arrested protesting the Supreme Court nomination of Brett Kavanaugh, a man who has been accused by multiple women of sexual assault. Men who hurt women can no longer be placed in positions of power.”

Benny Johnson tweeted back, “You’re joking, right? Arrested?

“I watched the cops walk up to you and ask politely if you wanted to be arrested. You & Amy Schumer said ‘yes.’ Then you both just sat comfortably on the floor until the cops gave you special wristbands & politely escorted you out

“I have video.”

Just another reminder for the serf-class concerning which end of the stick they really hold, here in the shitpit that is Amerika v2.0.

Innarnets: WON

And I mean forever. Like, retire the trophy, man.

Why worry about sounding a little “tone deaf” to Norman Normie when every day american life is a pageant of absurdities and perversions? His cherished institutions are maligned and his ancestors made cheap villains in a Tarantino white-murder film fest. His daughters are to be hailed for their slutiness and bitchiness while his sons are to be reviled and shamed unless they wear dresses. His vote doesn’t count and he’d better keep his mouth closed to uttering any truths if he wants to keep his job. On the TV he is the baddie and the butt of every joke. His church is closed for the covid but it doesn’t really matter because when it is opened they use a mocked up puppet-Jesus to echo the bullshit morality he sees on the tube anyway. He can’t even check out with some sportsball without at least nibbling a dose of woke feces if he wants to watch his favorite Africans chasing a ball around a field. His town is now full of immigrant faces that look nothing like his own people, and gosh darn it ain’t they better and truer Americans than him? Thats what he and his children are told anyway.

Why would he possibly notice some shenanigans with a few stocks and hedge-fund managers? Everyday life is a blaring strobe light carnival funhouse of insanity. And why would TPTB worry about seeming a bit tone deaf on this latest trickle of unfairness when they’ve gotten away with a full firehose of sludge to the face of Mr. Normie for years now?

it’s still amazing just how goddamn dumb they are; on almost every level.” Dumb, Brother? Understatement of the century.

It seems peaceful separation or a return to some sort of sane normalacy is beyond the pale. Hell, TPTB can’t even remain graceful in their election coup, they’ve declared Trad white Americans on par with Mohammedan terrorists and are guiding the security apparatus of the State to root them out.

They’ll push and push until they are forced to realize their “soundproof glass” isn’t the same as bulletproof glass. Tone deaf? That’s rich. Its a collision course of insanity and they and we are all madmen now.

That thunderous grand-slam comes to us courtesy of ZMan commenter Penitent Man, who definitely touched all the bases.

Although I’m not entirely sure that it’s all down to their being dumb, necessarily. It’s because they just don’t give a shit what Real Americans might think, say, or do. They’ve decided that, based on all evidence so far, they don’t have to. Only time will tell whether or not they’ve miscalculated, and how badly. That, in turn, will establish just how dumb they are—or whether the real problem all along has been the supine complacency of their nominal opposition.

Poor optics make for clear vision

When they decide to rule us from behind walls, razor-wire, and entire divisions of soldiers with shoot-to-kill ROEs, you know for sure that “of, by, and for the People” is dead as a dodo, and “the consent of the governed” is no longer of any concern.

The handfuls of ordinary people who arrived, as Americans always do, to attend the inauguration of a new president were confronted with heavy weapons and barbed wire.

D.C. had become a Baghdad and Berlin of checkpoints, choking off access to much of the city, closing roads, bridges, and metro stations. Soldiers could be seen on every corner, and the 25,000 troops were bolstered by 4,000 Marshalls, and a motley crew of local forces, including 200 members of the NYPD, 40 members of the Chicago police, New Jersey and Maryland state troopers, Miami-Dade cops, and other law enforcement officers who were needed back home.

24 people were shot in Chicago this weekend and murders are already up 125% this year in New York City. Those officers could have done more good at home, but Democrats don’t care about murder victims in urban areas, instead redeploying officers to D.C. in a show of force.

Biden took office in a city under military occupation whose businesses were closed and boarded up. The D.C. government had tried to force hotels to shut down. The hotels didn’t close, but there were hardly any people. Instead the hotels were filled with soldiers tramping through their lobbies. Any tourists that did come found nothing to see except barricades and barbed wire.

Sometimes what you don’t see is more important than what you do see.

Popular leaders, elected or unelected, might have troops in their cities, but they also have adoring crowds to cheer them on. Biden’s only cheers were coming from employees of huge corporations whose jobs depend on praising him as the greatest thing since SuperPACs.

Biden couldn’t manage the cheering crowds that greeted even the most mediocre presidents on their arrival. The band might as well have struck up a rousing chorus of, “Hail to the Thief.”

Jokes like that are all but illegal these days even though they were ubiquitous during the Bush and Trump administrations. But jokes only need to be banned when they’re too close to the truth. The hysterical fascist theater with troops in the streets and fawning praise on the lips of the press are all efforts to overcompensate for the hollow man taking a false oath on a bible.

This isn’t the pageantry of Stalin or Hitler. It’s the weary theater of Brezhnev, a senescent leader of a decaying regime being propped up by desperate threats of force by the nomenklatura. Even though the media has told us more about Biden’s dogs than it has about any of the Americans killed by Islamic terrorists enabled by the open borders that Biden just reinstated, no one cares.

Biden isn’t a charismatic leader. He isn’t moving the cause forward. He’s a placeholder for a ruling class that wants homes in Dupont Circle that it buys by selling out America to China, by ruining our economy with environmental consulting gigs and racial contract quotas, and for all the manifold ways which the swamp is coming back as Biden’s wetlands restoration project.

“Hail to the Thief” is as much their anthem as it is Biden’s. They fought to keep hold of D.C., the center of their power base not because they care about its history or that of this country, but because it’s where they network, collaborate, and do their dirty little deals at our expense.

The troops in the street are their warning to the rest of the country about who is really in charge.

Precisely so. But I don’t think of Bai-Ding as a placeholder. In my mind, he’s more like Charlie McCarthy; if you want to know who really runs things, you need to look for the guy whose knee he’s propped on—the guy with his hand up the back of Charlie’s shirt, making his mouth and eyeballs move. Look closely enough and sometimes you can even catch the ventriloquist’s lips moving.

But I still do hope that the fortification and militarization of Mordor OTP will be a permanent thing, eventually adopted by every large shitlib city. Let the orcs be forever walled off from the knaves they so cruelly exploit and abuse. Let the knaves be stripped of any lingering illusion concerning the true nature of their masters. Let the Ruling Orc-class be inconvenienced, discomfited, and frustrated to the greatest degree possible, their daily round blighted by the dispiriting pall of the very Shadow they conjured over the rest of us. Let us see the way of things clearly, at long, long last.

Gonna need more popcorn over here

Wherever HL Mencken’s eternal soul is resting these days (or roasting, as the case may be), you can almost hear the crusty old curmudgeon roaring with laughter.

Suffer, bitches. As Mencken said: Good. And. HARD. Mo’ bettah just deserts:

Several unions that eagerly endorsed President Joe Biden during the 2020 presidential election are now learning the hard way what it means to support Democrat policies.

During his first day in office, the newly-inaugurated president revoked the construction permit for the Keystone XL oil pipeline, thus destroying thousands of jobs.

And not just any jobs — but union jobs.

TC Energy Corp., the Canadian company that shares ownership of the pipeline with the Alberta government, had estimated that 10,000 jobs — in addition to the 1,000 already established — would be created in 2021 alone thanks to the construction of the pipeline.

In response, several once unabashedly pro-Trump unions lashed out.

“In revoking this permit, the Biden Administration has chosen to listen to the voices of fringe activists instead of union members and the American consumer on Day 1,” Mark McManus, the president of the United Association of Union Plumbers and Pipefitters said in a statement Thursday.

“Sadly, the Biden Administration has now put thousands of union workers out of work. For the average American family, it means energy costs will go up and communities will no longer see the local investments that come with pipeline construction.”

But the problem is that the union endorsed Biden last year and repeatedly promoted his agenda.

You were warned; it’s not as if Biden made any secret of his plan to kill off the oil bidness, along with several other entire sectors of bedrock American industry. Now you’re all weepy and butthurt, so shocked are you all to see a goddamned Commiecrat behaving in precisely the same destructive, economy-killing fashion they have been for decades now.

Sucks to be you, cupcake. You dumb shits made a bed of nails for the entire country. Now you get to lie in it beside the rest of us. Serves you right, say I. Once again: suffer, bitches. I sincerely hope you savor every last second of the pain and hardship you heedlessly, needlessly brought down on not just your own empty fucking heads, but everybody else’s too.

Idiots.

Phony “conservatives” still working the Reagan grift

NeverTrumpTard GOPers: treacherous backstabbers, or grubby parasites?

I suggest we all embrace the healing power of “and.”

National Review has found yet another reason to hate Trump, whom it has attacked relentlessly for over four years. It seems that among his multiple shortcomings, according to Frank Lavin, a supporter of Republican Voters Against Trump in 2020, Donald Trump was not the Gipper. In fact, he caused the Republican Party to deviate grievously from Reagan’s policies; and so it now behooves us to save the GOP by returning to the proven “conservative” teachings of the president whose approval ratings approached 70 percent shortly after leaving office.

In the 1980s, the Democratic Party of Tip O’Neill bore little resemblance to the party that Trump had to confront as his relentless enemy. Back then Democrats were still a party of blue-collar workers (a class that Trump tried to bring into his populist movement). Tip O’Neill was an Irish Catholic ward-heeler from Boston, who represented a working-class base; Nancy Pelosi by contrast speaks for culturally radical San Franciscans in a transformed Democratic Party, which today features LGBTQ demands, anti-white hysteria, Green New Deals, and which fights the gender identity war. Why would anyone think that Trump would not have gotten along with Tip as well as Ronnie did; or that Reagan would have enjoyed a better relationship with the present Democratic Party than Trump has? We are speaking about different forces of opposition to the GOP in two different eras.

We’re also speaking about a different GOP, although it must be said that the early warning signs of their impending transmogrification into the Uniparty simulacrum of “opposition” they unmistakably are today—housebroken Republicans, poseurs who snarl a great game but can absolutely be relied upon to roll over and play dead when it count, each and every time—were already beginning to appear.

Although Reagan faced critics in the leftist media, as someone who briefly served in his administration, let me assure Mr. Lavin that this sniping was nothing like the nonstop, venomous attacks to which Trump was subjected from the moment he declared his candidacy for the presidency. I have no idea how anyone but an absolute saint would not have exploded in the face of such slander; and it was directed not only against the president but also against his wife and young son. Never in my long life have I seen such a feeding frenzy.

Attacks on Trump as another Hitler and calls for assaults on him became commonplace over the last four years; and I strongly suspect that if Reagan has been forced to deal with such adversaries his approval rating and his temper would both have taken a hit.

Is there a reason why it shouldn’t have? From where I sit, failing to explode in righteous rage at such corrosive, slanderous vituperation indicates not a becoming restraint, but a serious character defect.

Reagan left office with a 63 percent approval rating, which by 1989 went up to 68 percent. We might ask what that approval rating would have been if the media threw dirt at him incessantly and if his congressional opponents incited riots against him throughout his presidency. Please note these attacks occurred not just because the Donald was intemperate in his language. The Left wanted power, and it was necessary to destroy Trump’s presidency to achieve it.

Achieve it they surely did. As a result, TPTB has made it clear that they will tolerate no challenge, of whatever nature, to its grip on untrammeled, absolute power. And from now on, they won’t have to. The past year’s litany of outrages against the Constitution, democracy, and simple decency—the successful hijacking of the last “election” in particular—has proven beyond argument that our rulers no longer need to even feign interest in “the consent of the governed.”

Finally, I would note that, unlike Reagan, Trump tried to be a transformative president who took his own party kicking and screaming into the populist form that he gave it. Although an honest, dedicated leader, Reagan transformed nothing.

Alas, the same can be said of Trump. In the wake of his spurious enthronement, on the very first fucking day, Beijing Biden’s puppetmasters undid almost every Trump accomplishment. Trump’s successes were written in quicksand, all too easily washed away by the Dismal Tide as if they never happened at all. His sole lasting achievement was removing the veil that had for so long obscured the face of the Enemy, exposing the true nature of the thugocracy that rules us. But even that bitterly-bought revelation must ultimately come to naught too, unless Americans act with vigor and zeal to prevent it.

Pretend pResident Biden’s “inauguration” speech: a review

The greatest orator since…Ogabe?

While he was delivering his address, I was so focused on the question of the day—would he get through it without zoning out?—that I barely noticed how vapid and mendacious the speech itself was.

But it was both of those things, in spades—vapid and mendacious.

It was ironic to find oneself listening to such a piece of drivel after four years during which the media told us, repeatedly, that Donald Trump spoke at the level of a middle schooler—and spoke too roughly and bluntly, in a style that was scandalously “unpresidential.”

After the speech, Biden and Harris drove out to Arlington National Cemetery. Why wait till the last minute? I wondered whether she was bringing along a shovel.

But back to the speech. Reportedly composed in part by Jon Meacham, that slick operator, it was delivered by a wraithlike figure who may or may not have been fully aware of what he was saying as he read the words off his teleprompter. All in all, a dispiriting and rather creepy experience. But the media, after four years of depicting Trump as a semi-literate Satan, felt obliged to celebrate Biden as a silver-tongued saint.

Chris Wallace of Fox News called it “the best inaugural address I ever heard.” George Stephanopoulos of ABC said it was “powerful.” On CNN, Van Jones proclaimed that “there was not one part of that that wasn’t just medicine in the wound…Joe Biden is going to train us to see the world differently.”

Ridiculous, all of it, needless to say, although that last bit from Jones brushed up against a certain unsettling truth. First, note that Jones’ vision was right out of scripture: “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth” (Revelations 21:1). And don’t forget St. Paul: “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known” (1 Corinthians 13:12). All of which fits neatly into the new practice of treating Biden as quasi-divine.

No, Biden can’t train us to see the world anew. But with enough power, he and his party, which now controls both houses of Congress, may well be able to compel a great many of us to pretend, at least, out of a sense of self-preservation, to see the world through a new set of eyes—in short, to parrot obediently the brave new gospel of critical race theory, white supremacy, gender fluidity, and so on. Lies, all of them, but refuse to subscribe to them and you’ll risk being branded an enemy of the truth.

The addle-pated Rapist In Thief won’t be “training” me to do a goddamned thing, neither jack nor shit, no matter how unctuously he urges his Brave New World on me. He is not my President, and his “America” is not my country. They can both burn in Hell for a thousand years for all me, and their miscellaneous and sundry brigades of orcs right along with ’em.

The message

En clair, unmistakable, no interpretation needed.

Our capital city is currently under military occupation. By Inauguration Day, there are expected to be more than 26,000 armed federal troops in Washington. No living American has seen a moment like the one we’re watching now.

For comparison, Lyndon Johnson sent a total of 13,600 federal troops and D.C. Army National Guardsmen to quell the race riots in Washington that followed the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. Those riots injured hundreds of people and killed at least 13. In 1864, as the Civil War raged on the other side of the Potomac and Americans died every day in large numbers on the battlefield, there were fewer federal troops protecting Washington, D.C., than there are right now.

But according to our leaders, the so-called “insurrection” of Jan. 6 was much worse than any of that. So in response, they have assembled the largest military presence in Washington in all of American history during peacetime. It’s truly a national force, with Guardsmen from every state in the Union as well as Puerto Rico. The question is, why?

For decades, Washington, D.C., had the highest per-capita law enforcement presence in the country and one of the highest in the world. There was no need to fly in troops from Alaska to keep the city safe. But keeping the city safe is hardly the point of this exercise. The murder rate in the District of Columbia has risen with terrifying speed over the last six months. Men, women and children have been shot to death in the streets, but no one in charge seems to care about that or even notice. So no matter what they are telling you, those 26,000 federal troops are not there for your safety.

Instead, unmistakably, the Democratic Party is using those troops to send the rest of us a message about power: “We’re in charge now. We run this nation, from Honolulu to our colony in the Caribbean and everywhere in between, very much including where you and your family live. Do not question us men with guns. We control the Pentagon.” And indeed, they do.

“We’re in control now” is one part, sure. There’s more to it, though, revealing a more troubling problem.

Republicans have spent years ignoring the leftward drift of our officer corps, but we can’t ignore it now. The mask is off our military leadership. The very same generals who howled at the idea of deploying American troops to stop an invasion of our southern border sent tens of thousands of soldiers with rifles to Washington purely as a show of force on behalf of the political party they support. Once they did that, they allowed Democratic politicians to degrade and politicize the military itself.

Democrats in Congress demanded that the troops sent to Washington this week submit to a political purity test — “ideological vetting, as they put it — to make certain that every soldier professed loyalty to the new regime. Not loyalty to our country, not loyalty to our Constitution, but loyalty to the aims of a specific political party. Nothing like that has ever happened in America and just a few months ago, it would have been unimaginable. Suddenly it’s compulsory.

In the meantime, you’ve got to wonder what the Guardsmen themselves think of all of this. Serving in the National Guard is not easy work. Guardsmen aren’t paid much. Some, you’ve got to imagine, are doing it for love of country. Now, they’ve been deployed to their country’s own capital city and they’ve been given orders to shoot their fellow Americans if necessary. That’s a lot to ask.

If you wanted to stoke an irreparable civil conflict, you would talk this way and you would keep talking that way. So where’s the pushback from our defenders? “Tucker Carlson Tonight” didn’t get any calls Monday from Republican senators begging to come on this show to talk about any of this. The Democratic Party is using the military of the United States as a political weapon. But Republicans in Congress just can’t be bothered to notice that.

You’d also think officers at the Pentagon would be outraged by this, but as far as we know, not a single one has resigned in protest of conducting background checks on people because of their race or sex or their political views. We can’t say we know entirely why, but some clearly agree with all of this, and they’d like to see it accelerate.

These Oathbreakers, and that’s exactly what they are, are Exhibit A demonstrating that the noisome waters of the Swamp have seeped into more of FederalGovCo than just Congress, State, and the DoJ. The military is also a part of FederalGovCo; none of us can afford to just blithely assume that it is somehow exempt from immersion in the broader flood of systemic corruption. Ahh, but Exhibit B is the really frightening one:

“I was Chief Prosecutor at Guantanamo for over 2 years,” a former Air Force colonel called Moe Davis announced on Twitter Monday, “and there’s far more evidence of Congressman Madison Cawthorn’s guilt than there was of guilt for 95+ percent [sic] of the detainees. It’s time we start a domestic war on sedition by American terrorists.”

Once again: A career American military officer has called for “a domestic war on sedition by American terrorists”. According to Col. Moe Davis, 25-year-old wheelchair-bound Madison Cawthorn, R-N.C. — who was just elected by American voters to the United States Congress — and the millions of Americans who agree with him and voted Republican in November, must be subdued by force.

Has Twitter seen Moe Davis’ tweet? Has the Secret Service? Do they care? Will a single one of Col. Moe Davis’ many allies in the Democratic Party denounce what he said or even tell him to cool it a little bit?

Why on earth would they? They’re all players on the same goddamned team.

So how long will this cycle go on? If you’re hoping America will revert to normal on Wednesday afternoon after Joe Biden is sworn in as president, you are an optimist. You probably assumed the quarantines and mandatory face coverings were temporary, too. Something awful has been unleashed on our country. Unchecked, it will inevitably lead to more awful things. Every action provokes a reaction. That is both physics and human nature.

Sometimes, though, just once in a great while, it is also justice.

The play’s the thing

Come Wednesday, the curtain rises on the staging of a new shitshow from Banana Republic Productions™.

A legitimate President would not need to be sworn in under the protection of 25,000 armed soldiers. This is how elections work in Venezuela. No, the Democrats are putting on a show of power, get that, power. They are projecting this to happen if you choose to protest the Biden presidency and the Congress.

Reports are being released that 25,000 troops have been called up to “protect” the presidential inauguration of Joe Biden. Think about it in these terms; these 25,000 troops were never called out during the summer and fall by Democratic mayors and governors in New York City, Seattle, Portland, Chicago, Minneapolis, etc., to prevent rioting, murder, looting, and brigandry. No troops to help law enforcement restore order, protect property, or citizens’ rights.

Amerikans aren’t citizens, and they have no rights. Their rulers want to make sure they all know that, and will abide by it without resistance.

You’ve got to wonder if the National Guardsmen are torn on being there to defend the very people who defunded the police and basically could care less about anybody but themselves. Trump and his supporters support the National Guardsmen and the police. It’s amazing how the politicians don’t believe the average person needs protection, but they need 25,000 of our nation’s best resources.

The bottom line here is that this optics view of military strength shows we have a government that wants to control by fear. They clearly know nobody will try anything with 25k troops, but it’s the visual of dominance they want to project. Crack the whip! Reminds me of the communist-controlled countries in our world history. The big picture here, though, is they fail to see their involvement in this mess, nor do they care.

Hardly. They know EXACTLY what they’re doing. The play they’re staging isn’t a new one, and like all good actors they know the script by heart.

Way too little, way too late

What the hell took you so long?

On Thursday night, Lou Dobbs reported that President Trump ordered the release of the Obamagate intelligence documents.

Lou Dobbs: President Trump is declassifying top-secret documents all related to Obamagate. That is the coordinated and years-long spying against a presidential candidate and ultimately the President of the United States and his administration, that of Donald J. Trump.

Yeh, yeh, whatevs.

On Tuesday, The Gateway Pundit got word that President Trump was going to declassify all of the Russian hoax investigation documents.

They previously reported that Deep State operatives, including people inside the White House and ostensibly on “his” side, were urging the president to keep the information from the public.

In fact, President Trump promised several times that he would release everything on the Russian hoax before he left office.

The Trump administration must now make sure these documents are released to the public.

For what? The time when such a move might actually have done some good is long behind us now. Or is there anybody out there stupid enough to imagine that Usurper Joe’s crack Injustice Dept team is going to SPRING INTO ACTION and get to the bottom of that steaming, flyblown pile of corruption?

It’s like this: Yes, they did it. Yes, we all know that they did it. And yes, they got away with it. Declassification, threatened by Trump many months ago but never followed through on for whatever incomprehensible reason, is as futilely masturbatory at this point as screaming about the ziggurat of solid evidence of election fraud in 2020 is, nothing but a chattering-class circle jerk.

The Obamagate/Russiagate/Ukrainegate/FBIgate/Laptopgate scams are way past their sell-by date—as stale and moldy as Earth Shoes, Mood Rings, and your deceased Aunt Maude’s orange shag carpet. Who cares about the Barrackorrhoids’ 2016 election jiggery-pokery anymore anyhow? After all, the self-same mountebanks just successfully stole another one outright in front of our faces. They got away with that, too.

Hold on, though, it gets even worse.

CNBC Washington Correspondent Wamon Javors reported on Thursday that President Trump has a slew of pardons ready to go as well as plans to appoint special counsels to investigate meth addict Hunter Biden and possibly the Dominion voting machines!

Great. That’ll go on for, what, four days tops before Usurper Joe is inaugurated and cancels the whole thing? But hey, maybe somebody could talk Honest Jim Comey into spearheading a new “investigation” based on Trump’s tardy document-dump. Anything’s possible, right? What the heck, if you’re gonna dream, dream big.

And maybe, just maybe, the horse really will learn to sing.

Getting right down to business

They’re coming, and they’re not wasting any time about it.

As a devout Catholic, Biden understands that defensive violence is not merely a natural right, but the Catechism of the Catholic Church calls it a “grave duty.” St. Thomas Aquinas explained that “if a man, in self-defense, uses more than necessary violence, it will be unlawful: whereas if he repel force with moderation his defense will be lawful.”

This is why it is so puzzling that Democrats in Congress are pushing ahead with their controversial bills that would restrict Americans’ right to keep and bear arms. They may have forgotten that it was just last week that President-Elect Biden reminded us of his “hopeful prayer for peace, justice, and healing the world over.”

It is odd. Why don’t these Democrats understand that, as the leader of their own political party repeatedly tells us, this is a time for national healing?

One proposed new law, H.R. 127, would require “the licensing of firearm and ammunition possession and the registration of firearms” and ban the possession of certain ammunition. Another, H.R. 121, would “provide for the hiring of 200 additional Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agents and investigators to enforce gun laws.”

If you’re wondering what those 200 new ATF agents would do, H.R. 130 has an answer. That bill would “require the investigation of reports of improper storage of firearms or ammunition.”

Sadly, these proposals would further divide our troubled nation. The bizarre thing is that they have been introduced despite our president-elect telling us that it is time to “begin the work to heal and unite our nation!”

Very mysterious, innit? I have it on VERY good authority that nearly all Demonrat-Socialists pro-pols are avid hunters, hunting being the sole reason the 2A was written in the first place. Hey, if you don’t believe it, just ask ’em.

Although NormAm emphasizes Democrat-Socialists in his post, I note with disgust that one of the nine (count ’em, 9) listed affronts to the Constitution is sponsored by a Repugnican—from the great Republic of Texas, no less, same as the execrable Sheila Jackass Lee—a fellow yclept Burgess, Michael C. [R-TX-26]. I know nothing at all about the guy, but if you reside in his district, be sure not to leave him in the dark regarding your extreme displeasure over his perfidy. In my opinion, flaming bags of dogshit on his porch late at night might be a fine start.

Update! Fundamental transformation.

Introduced on January 11th and referred to the House Judiciary Committee, the resolution proposes an “amendment to the Constitution of the United States to abolish the electoral college and to provide for the direct election of the President and Vice President of the United States.”

Authors of the bill include Rep. Cohen, Rep. Zoe Lofgren, Rep. Jan Schakowsky, Rep. Julia Brownley, Peter DeFazio, Rep. Adriano Espaillat, Rep. John Garamendi, and Rep. Jim Cooper.

Before revealing what the constitutional amendment would look like, the bill rebukes the electoral college as created in “an era of limited nationwide communication and information sharing” and resting on “an antiquated theory that citizens will have a better chance of knowing about electors from their home States than about Presidential candidates from out of State”

Pure, undiluted balderdash. That twaddle is not even REMOTELY what the Constitutional mandate for the Electoral College is all about—which I’m sure these disingenuous shitweasels know full well. The EC was intended to act as a bulwark against the tyranny of mob rule, the inevitable end state of direct democracy, a fatally-flawed system the Founders correctly distrusted, even feared.

It is absolutely intolerable, having to listen to these sewer rats piously puke up lecture after lecture about “preserving” America, “democracy,” the Constitution, and such from the fascist despot Trump’s depredations even as they beaver away at dismantling it all just as quickly as they can get it done.

Demonrat Projection Deflection, in full effect

Oh, we had ourselves a coup all right. No question about that.

Real coups are not clumsy mob attacks adjacent to lawmakers. Real coups, above all, are about control: Control of communications, control of bureaucracy, and above all, control of military power. And in the past few days, it is President Trump’s enemies who have seized control of all these things.

The most obvious sign of the unfolding coup is the most memorable: The suspension, and then banning, of the President’s Twitter account. After this ban was handed down, a flurry of other tech companies rushed to follow suit.

This isn’t just a petulant attack on the President. For tens of millions of Americans, the President’s Twitter, Facebook, and emails are the main ways they see his statements, unmediated by the press or other actors. While the President has other ways to reach the public, the bans slowed him down and made it far harder for the public to hear him. In effect, Big Tech has hobbled the President’s ability to speak out about what is happening.

Our globalist overlords have decided that there must be no popular way for the President to easily communicate directly with the public he governs that is uncontrolled by powerful, left-aligned corporations.

On Friday morning, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi publicly announced that she had directly contacted military leaders to strip President Trump of his military authority:

Amid mounting pressure to remove President Trump from office, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Friday spoke to the nation’s top military leader about taking precautions to ensure against Trump rashly initiating a military action or nuclear strike in the chaotic waning days of his presidency.

“This morning, I spoke to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley to discuss available precautions for preventing an unstable president from initiating military hostilities or accessing the launch codes and ordering a nuclear strike,” Pelosi (D-San Francisco) said in a letter to her Democratic House colleagues Friday.

This is nothing more than a plot to illegally usurp the President’s constitutional powers. In other words, it is exactly what happens in a real coup. Real coup d’états always revolve around getting the military’s backing. And in this crisis, the military immediately showed where its loyalties lie.

So, in effect, Donald Trump’s command of the military has been usurped by a committee of top generals, members of Congress, and his own Vice President. In other words, he is no longer the real commander-in-chief. And if Donald Trump is no longer the commander-in-chief, then he is no longer the President of the United States. A coup d’état has been carried out. The Trump presidency is over.

It’s no more than the usual Projection Deflection tactic, indignantly accusing their enemies of the exact thing they’re doing themselves. But excoriating the Left for their fathomless hypocrisy is worse than a waste of time, a pointless, masturbatory exercise better men should’ve abandoned long ago as a lost cause. If these people were capable of shame, they’d have all died from it years ago already. Honestly, I’m beginning to think they do it for their own amusement, for pointing and laughing purposes.

At this point, seeing Righty pundits all a-dither over Progtard “hypocrisy” puts me in mind of the cruel old country-boy prank of tying a string of empty tin cans to a dog’s tail, watching with sadistic glee as the poor pooch runs about in frenzied circles, unable to elude the noisy pursuer always right behind him, until he finally keels over half-dead in an exhausted heap from sheer fright.

I would have been happy to just re-post the whole piece here, but I’ll restrain myself to the excerpt instead and implore you to click on over for the rest.

“Citadel of democracy”?

In a pig’s eye.

As a matter of scale, we should note that the level of violence and destruction that occurred in Washington since January 6 is some immeasurably tiny fraction of the violence and destruction visited upon cities across America in the orchestrated riots that occurred in the wake of George Floyd’s death. And while the media and its preferred politicians are still actively and outwardly pretending that George Floyd’s death has the slightest thing to do with racist police officers (it doesn’t, and there is not a single compelling shred of evidence anywhere that it does), the media and its preferred politicians are simultaneously pretending that ordinary American taxpayers have no legitimate reason to be expressing their political outrage in Washington.

That’s a contemptible lie.

Just ten years ago, we still lived under the naïve presumption that, in a free republic of the people, by the people, and for the people, the people’s elected representatives should be expected to read and understand legislation before voting laws into existence. You might recall that Nancy Pelosi provided a legendarily poor answer when asked about the contents of the Affordable Care Act, aka, Obamacare. The urgency for this bill was predicated upon a perceived healthcare crisis in America, and the result was an abomination comprising 2,000-plus pages of pork disguised as a healthcare bill for the benefit of the American people. “We have to pass the bill before we find out what is in it,” she aloofly said when pressed, earning much public scorn and perhaps singlehandedly delivering a Republican House later in 2010.

Calling the venue where these shenanigans regularly take place “the citadel of democracy” or a “light to the world,” as doddering Joe Biden recently did, is bad comedy. Washington has become a dark and dirty den of vipers and predators, sluicing nutrients from taxpayer prey with ever more unsustainable zeal. President Trump regularly characterizes the current state of Washington much more accurately — it’s a swamp.

No, we will not be lectured by the pro-Marxist, anti-liberty Democratic Party or their media apparatchiks. We will not be silenced by their enablers in the GOP, either. We Americans are righteously indignant about the greed and corruption in our government that defiles its constitutional purpose in an effort to rule rather than represent its people. We are outraged at the lack of transparency in the recent elections, and demand investigations to prove their veracity beyond all shadows of doubt. And while I mourn the loss of life that occurred, I’m inclined to agree with Mark Steyn that there is some value in such reminders for the political class as we saw last week:

The political class (represented by a Speaker who flies home to San Francisco on her own government plane) has been largely insulated from the pathologies they have loosed upon the land. For a few hours yesterday they weren’t.

If we, the people, are being openly censored by partisan corporate entities and cannot be sure of our ability to hold elected officials accountable via the ballot box because our government officials refuse to defend election integrity or assure its people that election integrity has been preserved when proof is demanded of them, how else might patriotic citizens get their government’s attention?

Try as I might, I can only come up with just the one, I’m afraid. More from the aforementioned Steyn article:

In a self-governing republic of citizen-legislators, that ought to be sobering and instructive. But, of course, it wasn’t. Still, I was surprised that even politicians and pundits could utter all that eyewash about “the citadel of democracy” and “a light to the world” with a straight face. It’s a citadel of crap, and the lights went out long ago: ask anyone who needs that $600 “relief”.

I despise the United States Congress, and not merely for the weeks I had to spend there during the Clinton impeachment trial: My contempt pre-dates that circus. It dates to the moment I first realized, as a recent arrival to this land, that when Dick Durbin or some such is giving some overwrought speech on a burning issue he is speaking to an entirely empty chamber – because there are no debates, because most of these over-entouraged Emirs of Incumbistan are entirely incapable of debate: See, inter alia, Ed Markey.

But the fact that they might as well be orating in front of the bathroom mirror isn’t why I despise it. It’s that the American media go along with the racket, and there’s only the one pool camera with the fixed tight shot so that you can’t see the joint is deserted and the guy is talking to himself. The wanker press is so protective of its politicians that it’s happy to give the impression that a boob like Markey is Cromwell in the Long Parliament.

I have never seen such rubbish in the House of Commons at Ottawa or Westminster or their equivalents around the Commonwealth – and it’s a charade in which the media are all-in.

So it’s a Potemkin parliament.

That leads easily to the next stage of decay – for why would a Potemkin parliament not degenerate further into a pseudo-legislature? The Covid “relief” bill is 5,593 pages. There is no such thing as a 5,593-page “law” – because no legislator could read it and grasp it. For purposes of comparison, the Government of India Act, which in 1935 was the longest piece of legislation ever drafted in British law and which provided for the government of what are now India, Pakistan and Burma, is 326 pages.

Oh, I’m sure paragons of republican virtue will object that no Indian or Burmese citizen-representatives were involved in that piece of imperial imposition. Well, no American citizen-representatives were involved in the Covid “relief” bill. The legislation was drafted not by legislators, nor by civil servants, nor even by staffers or interns. Instead, a zillion lobbyists wrote their particular carve-outs, and then it got stitched together by some clerk playing the role of Baron von Frankenstein. The “legislators” voted it into law unread, and indeed even unseen, as the Congressional photocopier proved unable to print it: It was a bill without corporeal form, but the yes-men yessed it into law anyway.

Whatever that is, it’s not a republic. As beacons to the world go, stick it where the beacon don’t shine. I wish no ill to anyone in the building, but I do support, during the next recess, its complete dismantling and the salting of the earth: it is not a “citadel of democracy”, only a sick perversion thereof. Whatever Sudan and Chad and Waziristan need, it’s not the US Congress.

There’s not a living soul on Earth who DOES need the scurrilous reprobates, Americans probably least of all.

Think you’re too cynical?

You’re almost certainly not cynical enough.

I’ve been ranting for years about the perfidy of the left. At times I’ve been accused of exaggerating. On rare occasions I feared – or hoped? – that perhaps I was exaggerating. In fact I can now see that these people are worse than I ever imagined. Worse than most of us ever imagined.

Worse, even, than Donald Trump, with all his insight, imagined.

He went into office determined to clean up the swamp. He was tireless. But not tireless enough. No mere mortal could have been tireless enough. Trump had denounced the swamp in apocalyptic terms, but it proved to be even deeper and more extensive than he knew. It reached into the upper echelons of the intelligence community and the military, into cabinet departments and the judiciary.

Not only did the Democrats try to derail his campaign and then his presidency. Even people whom he appointed to White House jobs proved unreliable. Far from being too suspicious, he’d been too trusting. He’d appointed two-faced D.C. insiders. He’d trusted people who turned out to be snakes in the grass.

The news media, with very few exceptions, made it their task to thwart his progress and poison his name with a constant flow of disinformation. They said Trump had told people to drink bleach. They said he’d called neo-Nazis “good people.” They said many other outrageous things that they knew were outright lies. They relentlessly repeated the charge that he did nothing but lie, lie, lie, when in fact it was they, the media, who were constantly feeding us lies.

As all this happened, I tried to figure out what it reminded me of. It took two days to come up with the answer. It was the 1960 movie Spartacus. After his army has crushed the slave rebellion, Crassus (Laurence Olivier) promptly initiates the ruthless transformation of the Roman Republic into an empire, telling the republican senator Gracchus (Charles Laughton):

As the slaves died, so will your rabble if they falter one instant in loyalty to the new order of affairs. The enemies of the state are known. Arrests are in progress; the prisons begin to fill. In every city and province lists of the disloyal have been compiled. Tomorrow they will learn the cost of their terrible folly, their treason.

When Gracchus, the leader and hero of Rome’s deplorables, asks where his own name stands on Crassus’s list, Crassus shoves it in his face and shouts: “First!”

Yes, the author of the novel Spartacus, Howard Fast, was a Communist. So was Dalton Trumbo, who wrote the script. In Trumbo’s mind, Crassus’s list may well have been, at least in part, a reference to the Hollywood Blacklist, which had caused a brief hiccup in his own otherwise spectacular career. But for millions who saw the film, the idea of listing, arresting, and imprisoning “enemies of the state” would surely have brought to mind, above all else, the terrible reign of Stalin, who had died seven years earlier. Today it also recalls the brutal tyranny of Mao.

There’s no intrinsic magic about America that protects it from becoming Mao’s China or Stalin’s Russia. Only utopians believe in the perfectibility of man. People are people. And some of the people who are now, or are about to be, in power in the United States would, if accorded enough power, do far more to those of us who falter in loyalty than merely take away our social-media accounts.

Indeed, as scary as the situation may be right now, one thing’s for certain: worse is on its way.

Believe it. If the historical record is any guide, and it is, the current Great Purge is just the beginning.

They’re coming

Cowards, chickenshits, poltroons—gutless, twisted scum.

Our rulers did not enjoy being driven out of the U.S. Capitol. They will seek revenge.

Politicians scampered away through underground passages like frightened bunny rabbits on Wednesday. One report says they “sprinted down to the basement and through the subway tunnels.” Photos show our ruling elites cowering and playing dead. This is the behavior of prey animals. Rabbits may freeze in the presence of a threat.

Journalists were not important enough for the tunnels. A hero at Politico announced “we are hiding behind chairs and tables.” Another valiant journalist was “having a panic attack.” But instead of setting up the gallows, patriots merely doused the paid propagandists with fire extinguishers.

It was humiliating. It was embarrassing. It is something that our self-appointed betters are determined to make impossible to happen again. The deplorables cannot be permitted to fight back.

Normal Americans will be tempted to point out Democrats’ hypocrisy. Our self-described betters spent 2020 excusing attempts by the street commies to burn down federal courthouses and police stations. The left normalized street violence and occupying government buildings. They turned a blind eye to “autonomous zones” run by warlords. NPR served up the official propaganda with its fawning interview of the author of In Defense Of Looting. We are not allowed to remember that left-wing protesters stormed the Wisconsin State Capitol and Capitol Hill not too long ago.

Of course the left are hypocrites. But dwelling on their hypocrisy is poor preparation for the reality of Democrats taking over Washington, D.C. in two weeks. If federal police already are bold enough to collude with the Biden transition team and harass Patrick Byrne, imagine how much official mischief will happen after the inauguration. The Anti-Domestic Terrorism Act of 2021 isn’t going to write itself. For our anti-American elites who loathe devout Christians, gun owners, and sundry deplorables, Christmas will arrive early this year.

The left is so unhinged they can’t wait until the inauguration to get rid of President Trump. Democrats are demanding that Vice President Pence “invoke the 25th Amendment and begin the process of removing President Trump from office.” A second impeachment attempt is in the works, along with plans to get rid of Sen. Ted Cruz for daring to raise the possibility of election fraud.

Consider what is being done to Trump even by nominal Republicans like Mitt Romney. They want him gone, if not in Gitmo. Twitter gave the president the boot. Facebook exercised its constitutional authority to declare a national emergency and delete a presidential video. Meanwhile, Iran is asking Interpol to arrest Trump on charges of killing an Iranian general. Perhaps Attorney General Merrick Garland can help a fellow out.

If they can do this to a sitting president, they can do it to anyone.

They most certainly can…and take it the bank, they will. In fact, they’ve already started.
