Border czar Tom Homan reacts to Selena Gomez’s viral post sobbing over ICE raids
Border czar Tom Homan said Monday night the Trump administration has “no apologies” for the ICE raids targeting illegal migrants in the US when asked about Selena Gomez’s since-deleted Instagram post in which she sobbed over the law enforcement action.

“All my people are getting attacked, the children. I don’t understand. I’m so sorry, I wish I could do something, but I can’t. I don’t know what to do. I’ll try everything, I promise,” Gomez said in the video.

Gomez was slammed for sounding out of touch and quickly took down the video, writing on her Instagram story, “Apparently it’s not ok to show empathy for people.”

When asked about the viral video on Fox News, Homan denied the alleged attacks Gomez referenced and claimed that Immigration Customs and Enforcement is only going after illegal migrants with prior criminal history.

“If they don’t like it, then go to Congress and change the law. We’re going to do this operation without apology,” Homan told Fox News.

“We’re gonna make our community safer. It is all for the good of this nation. And we’re gonna keep going. No apologies. We’re moving forward.”

Stupid bimbelina doesn’t seem to realize that she can take things down and/or delete them all she likes, but the Innarnuts is forever, and doesn’t give a fat rat’s patoot.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed it is the official policy of the Trump administration that all undocumented immigrants are considered criminals. This is a change from the Biden administration, which referred to those immigrants as undocumented noncitizens.

“If you are an individual, a foreign national, who illegally enters the United States of America, you are by definition a criminal,” Leavitt said.

According to the Justice Department, improper entry into the U.S. is a criminal offense with civil penalties, including a fine. Subsequent offenses carry stricter penalties like a five-year bar on returning to the US and possible prison time.

“They are criminals as far as this administration goes,” Leavitt said. “I know the last administration didn’t see it that way. So it’s a big culture shift in our nation to view someone who breaks our immigration law as a criminal, but that’s exactly what they are.”

Publick Notice…AGAIN

Hoo-kay, I’ve implemented all the fixes, adjustments, and work-arounds recommended by the Entirely Digital folks, and everything appears to be clean, tight, and functional, at least for the nonce. One decision I’ve reached which I know some of y’all ain’t gonna cotton to: comments for new posts will remain disabled, excepting of course for the Donnybrook, for which comments are the reason it came to be in the first place.

Thing is, it’s a well-known fact that the primary security hole for any blog is an open-comments section; word is that it’s an even bigger problem for WP blogs, and then plugins are a whole ‘nother issue in and of themselves. Seeing as how the way I had things set up until last week’s serial attacks used no less than five (5) comments-related plugins, it makes way more sense to me right now to just say hell with it and do away with the whole kit and kaboodle in one fell swoop.

I expect this to be a wildly unpopular move, and I hate that, I truly do. Probably gonna cost me a fair few readers, even. But it’s just the way it’s gotta be, at least for now. After I’m completely confident the dust has well and truly settled around here, well, we’ll see what’s what. As I remarked to one of my ED tech-support correspondents the other day, somebody out there must really have it in for me, BAD. Can’t imagine why; I’m actually a pretty nice guy once you get to know me.

PITA Update! Okay, THAT was way more hassle than it shoulda been, I must say. I think I’ve gotten everything working the way I want it to now, all things considered. Only time will tell, I suppose.

Still bogged down with futzing around trying to get things back to whatever normal around here amounts to: deleting plugins, widgets, and themes I haven’t used in years, adding new, improved ones, and related activities. Under attack

Most of you have probably noticed by now that, thanks to malefactor(s) as yet unknown, the site has been up and down over the last couple of days. The hosting company, Entirely Digital, is working on the problem now, and for my part I’ve changed my passwords, disabled comments on new posts, and deactivated all plugins for the time being. I suggest that those of you who have user accounts here change your own passwords too; may not help much with this particular issue, but what the hell, it’s just good practice regardless of what might be going on around here. More info as and when things develop, sorry for the hassles and headaches.

‘This Is What Victory Feels Like!’ Musk Gives Epic Victory Speech
Elon Musk delivered a powerful speech following the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump, celebrating the event as a new chapter for both America and the future of human civilization. A moment of humor and excitement followed as Musk announced a bold new goal: taking Dogecoin to Mars. “And we’re going to take DOGE to Mars,” he exclaimed. “I mean, can you imagine how awesome it will be to have American astronauts plant the flag on another planet for the first time? Yeah. How inspiring would that be?”

While Musk acknowledged the inevitable challenges ahead, he stressed the need for inspiration in the face of those obstacles. “There’s always… problems in life. You know, this problem, solved that problem, solved that problem,” he said. “But, you know, there need to be things that inspire you. There needs to be things that make you glad to wake up in the morning and say, ‘I’m looking forward to the future.’”

“And let me tell you, I’m gonna work my a** off for you guys, so. I really will. I really will.”

Elon’s ebullience, his sheer uncontainable enthusiasm, was written all over his face throughout the speech. So naturally the shitlibs couldn’t stop themselves from stepping in to shit all over it, as is their usual wont.


The supposed “fascist salute,” a ludicrous notion on the very face of it, comes in when Elon grabs his chest, yells “My heart goes out to you!” and then makes a gesture to indicate throwing his heart out to the crowd in appreciation of their support. Which leads me to hope that Trump will see his way clear to defunding the Government Television sewer rats, soonest.

But today is gonna be an exception, because the article covered in the Eyrie post is…well, exceptional, actually. With a Kurt Schlichter post as its springboard, this one’s a must-read if ever there was one. My closer:

What’s Going On? Pro-Hezbollah Imam Set to Give Benediction at Trump’s Inauguration
A deeply antisemitic, pro-Hezbollah imam is set to give a benediction at Trump’s inauguration next Monday, and many Trump supporters who had been happy to see Trump’s repeated affirmations that he would support, not betray, America’s ally Israel are now scratching their heads. What’s going on? Was this just an oversight, a failure to vet the Dearborn Imam Husham al-Husainy properly? Or does it herald a real policy shift in the incoming Trump administration?

There are other signs of such a shift, with the chief among them being the fact that Israel and Hamas are close to a ceasefire in Gaza. Back in June 2024, Trump declared: “Let Israel finish the job in Gaza.” Yet back in Oct. 2023, not long after Hamas massacred 1,200 Israelis, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the goal of Israel’s war in Gaza was the “elimination of Hamas.” He has reiterated this more than once since then, making it clear that he will not consider “the job” to be finished until Hamas no longer exists as an organized group. Israel has rejected Biden regime ceasefire demands for the perfectly cogent reason that they would allow Hamas the chance to survive and regroup.

Now, however, Israel seems to have resigned itself to Hamas’ continued existence, as the New York Times reported that “Israel and Hamas are ‘on the brink’ of agreeing to declare a cease-fire in Gaza and release hostages held there, Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken said on Tuesday.” Not only is Hamas not eliminated, but it might even end up in the government of Gaza again once the war ends, contrary to repeated Israeli declarations that this must not and would not happen.

And now comes al-Husainy to give one of the four benedictions at Trump’s inauguration. Al-Husainy is an open supporter of Hezbollah who, back in 2006 at a Dearborn rally in support of the terrorist group, “held the picture of Hezbollah leader [Hassan] Nasrallah aloft on the stage.” Then in Feb. 2007, al-Husainy appeared on Fox’s Hannity and Colmes, where Sean Hannity asked him: “Will you admit that Hezbollah is a terrorist organization, sir?” Al-Husainy answered: “That is your explanation.” Hannity pressed him: “This is a yes or no. Is Hezbollah a terrorist organization? Yes or no? Is Hezbollah…” Al-Husainy responded: “No.” 

If this is what “winning” looks like, then yes, I am in fact tired of all the winning already, and he hasn’t even been sworn in yet.
