TRUMP ENDORSED: ‘Kevin McCarthy Will Do a Good Job’

Donald Trump endorsed Kevin McCarthy for House Speaker early Wednesday, after a day of waffling by the former president — and a day of chaos on the House floor — kept the new GOP majority without an official leader.

“Some really good conversations took place last night,” Trump posted to Truth Social, “and it’s now time for all of our GREAT Republican House Members to VOTE FOR KEVIN, CLOSE THE DEAL, TAKE THE VICTORY, & WATCH CRAZY NANCY PELOSI FLY BACK HOME TO A VERY BROKEN CALIFORNIA.”

Emphasis in the original, because Trump.

Sheesh. Although Trump for the most part had been publicly tight with all-talk JustAnotherRINO McCarthy during his one and only term as President, there’s also this to consider:

McCarthy and Trump had a close working relationship during the former president’s administration, with Trump dubbing the Californian “my Kevin.”

Their bond suffered a fracture after the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection — but only temporarily.

“The president bears responsibility for Wednesday’s attack on Congress by mob rioters,” McCarthy said on the House floor later in January 2021. “He should have immediately denounced the mob when he saw what was unfolding. These facts require immediate action by President Trump.”

Bold mine, because godDAMMIT, man.

Less than a month after the Capitol attack, McCarthy traveled down to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida to discuss efforts to retake the House in 2022.

“Today, President Trump committed to helping elect Republicans in the House and Senate in 2022. A Republican majority will listen to our fellow Americans and solve the challenges facing our nation,” he said in a statement at the time.

That would be the self-same Repugnicants, mind, who spent Trump’s entire time in office stabbing him in the back, on every single issue he ran on. I tells ya, it’s nothing short of baffling. But if Trump sincerely imagines that sucking up to swine like McCarthy is going to buy him a shred of reciprocity in return, then he has more in common with clueless shitstains like Juanny “My friends at the New York Times” Mav than I like to even think about.

My brother and I have been discussing of late the possibility that, deep down, perhaps Trump doesn’t really even want to be President anymore—for which who could blame him, really—and is only running this time to avoid being perceived as some kind of quitter, maybe. If that’s the case, continuing to turn a blind eye to slithering, slime-slathered Swamp ‘gators like McCarthy is as sure-fire a way to make sure he won’t be as I can think of right offhand.

Just when we thought we’d reached Peak Mental Dysfunction

And here I was thinking I’d become so jaded by all we’ve seen to date that nothing could possibly shock or surprise me anymore.

LGBTQ+++™ Pinocchios Now Claim Male-to-Female Transgenders Can Get Periods: ‘I’m a Real Girl!’

Biological assimilation into femininity has long been the final frontier for transgender activists — a Rubicon they had not yet been able to fully cross. Aspirational transgenders can get various sordid surgeries to appear more feminine; they can adopt feminine social roles, but they could never really become fully biologically female.

This nags at the LGBTQ+++™ community something fierce, as biological reality always belies the religious conviction that “transgender women are women,” full-stop. They wish they could menstruate because, like transgender Pinocchios, they want desperately to be real girls, despite the deep-seated and dysphoric knowledge that their goal is impossible.

Via The Establishment:

Ashley’s a 23-year-old trans girl (TRANSLATION: a male—M) who’s been on hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for over a year. She (HE—M) takes a cocktail of the antiandrogen spironolactone and estradiol, a form of estrogen. About five months into her (HIS—M) treatment, she (HE—M) began experiencing a predictable pattern of symptoms: First would come the soreness and swelling in her (HIS—M) chest along with bouts of nausea; the next day, she’d (&C—M) endure painful abdominal cramping lasting minutes at a time, as well as constant nausea, hot flashes, dizziness, photosensitive migraines, and bloating. This cycle, she says, lasts for about six to seven days and repeats roughly every five weeks.

Let’s assume for the sake of argument that Ashley’s “period” symptoms are legitimate and not the product of transgender psychosis (58% of transgenders have a diagnosable psychiatric disorder compared to 13% in the general population). Causally, his cramps and hot flashes and whatever would have to do with the synthetic hormone cocktail of estrogens and anti-androgens that he shoots into his body daily and nothing at all to do with a female reproductive cycle.

The reaction from most real women, like my wife’s when I posed this dilemma to her, would be: why would anyone voluntarily want to experience menstrual cycles and all the discomfort that comes with them? The answer is that no amount of physical discomfort is too great provided that it buttresses their theatrical performance.

Now, my initial reaction to the above bilge is about what I expect most of y’alls would be: something along the lines of an ennui-laden shrug, a roll of the eyes, and an exhausted “Oh, PLEASE.” But au contraire, mon dique-couper frere. No, as it turns out this impossible Menstruation for non-Persons Of Uterus™ business is all too real, at least for certain values of the word “real,” anyways. How the sausage is (un)made?

And lest any of you sane people out there might blithely assume this is all merely some Bizarro World practical jokery or something: don’t. Just…don’t.

I had to dig deeper to make sure this wasn’t some sick satire. It’s not. The combination of complete depravity and unambiguous mental illness continues to ramp up in the most ludicrous ways. It’s enough to make one lose hope in this nation’s redemption.

YMMV, as always, but as I recall a certain Good Book insisting repeatedly and explicitly throughout its voluminous text, redemption isn’t some scattershot entitlement, strewn willy-nilly about the landscape for any benighted fool to just pick up and waltz off with. No, redemption must be earned. Which, this nation all too obviously has NOT, alas and alack.

But that doesn’t mean we should stop fighting it. Unfortunately, the powers-that-be who want to destroy America realize that this extreme version of Cultural Marxism is the fastest path through which the United States can self immolate before the altar of globalism. This is why “gender dysphoria” was once rightly considered to be a mental disorder. Today, it’s being normalized in ways that defy both logic and science.

Again, I must beg to differ, chum. There ain’t no “normalizing” this shit, no matter how far we bend over, how radically we rejigger the terminology, nor how many hoops we’re willing to jump through for the demented eejits, to quote the incomparable Irish copper Bunny McGarry. It is simply unpossible, that’s what. You can’t “normalize” the extravagantly, showily ABnormal; it’s a contradiction in terms, a pluperfect oxymoron.

The creepiest thing you’ll ever see

Okay, “creepy” doesn’t even BEGIN to cover this.

The Real-Life Matrix: ‘EctoLife’ Artificial Womb Facility to Engineer, Grow Babies in ‘Factory’

If you thought the millions of plastic pods artificially “growing” human babies in The Matrix were creepy, wait until you see the animation of “EctoLife,” set to be the world’s first artificial womb facility. A recent video posted online by its inventor, Hashem Al-Ghaili, enthusiastically described a facility where tens of thousands of babies could be engineered and gestated in artificial “wombs” with constant monitoring to check for biological defects and growth. EctoLife claims it will engineer the most “viable and genetically superior embryo” as it is “reinventing evolution,” producing up to “30,000 lab-grown babies per year.”

As EctoLife asserted, “Our goal is to provide you with an intelligent offspring that truly reflects your smart choices.” Because eugenics led to such wonderful results in the 20th century!

Remember how leftists have been telling us for years, and continue to tell us, that we’re overpopulating the earth? EctoLife’s ad explicitly said it is “designed to help countries that are suffering from severe population decline”—something that most of the world is suffering from, including America, by the way. Turns out that forgoing reproducing to pursue high-powered careers, luxury vacations, and an end to “climate change” was not such a bright idea. The solution is not being to have babies the way God intended, of course, but to engineer and grow them in fake wombs. That way, “artificial intelligence” (AI) can monitor your baby for “genetic abnormalities” (it’s unclear what would happen to babies who turn out to be supposedly imperfect).

The one really positive aspect is that the ad uses the word “baby” to refer to unborn children throughout the entire ad, a tacit admission that pro-lifers are correct that the unborn truly are humans and not mere clumps of cells.

There are many disturbing aspects to the ad, however. There’s the fact that parents can supposedly “engineer” everything about their baby in the “elite package.” CRISPR gene editing can “customize” and “fix” the baby, from his skin color to his IQ to his genetic disease susceptibilities, for a “genetically superior” baby. There’s the narrator excitedly explaining how birth will no longer involve a woman’s body (just another way to sideline women while pretending to free them, I guess). Instead, it will involve a mere “push of a button.”

The ad expressed a seeming leftist bent by boasting that EctoLife will be powered by “sustainable” wind and solar energy, so you don’t have to worry about your “carbon footprint.” I guess if climate alarmists can’t convince humans to stop having children altogether to save the planet, they’ll artificially grow babies in highly controllable artificial wombs instead.

I found it particularly interesting that the ad claimed, “With EctoLife, miscarriage and low sperm count are a thing of the past.” Some contraceptives have long-term effects on fertility, and studies indicate that COVID-19 vaccines could reduce sperm count too. Did transhumanist leftists create the problem and then provide EctoLife as a “solution”?

Knowing what we know about how thoroughly Left dogma has infiltrated and subsumed what used to be respectfully regarded as “science,” as is confirmed by Ectolife’s inclusion of the above bit casually tossing out “sustainable” and “carbon footprint” and such-like Progtard buzzwords, we dare not put anything whatsoever past them.

Funny, innit, how naturally playing God seems to come to Leftwits who strain themselves absolutely purple-faced denying His existence with every other breath they draw. But not “ha-ha” funny, of course.

Just another phony war

Merkel Spills Beans on How U.S. and NATO Partners Planned War in Ukraine Against Russia

It is becoming irrefutably clear that the United States and its NATO partners have been planning for many years for the current war in the Ukraine against Russia. That fact makes the prospects for peace all the more elusive. How to negotiate with a mindset that is so deeply invested and ingrained with belligerence?

Western governments and media accuse Russia of “unprovoked aggression” against Ukraine and are clamoring for Moscow to hand over eye-watering financial compensation as well as face war crimes prosecutions.

The bitter irony is that the war in Ukraine, which is dangerously escalating and could spiral into a nuclear cataclysm, was sown by the United States and its accomplices. It is the West that bears ultimate responsibility for this abysmal situation, not Russia.

Former German Chancellor Angela Merkel (2005-2021) is the latest Western source to come clean or let their guard down. She disclosed in a recent interview with Der Spiegel the real roots of the war.

Merkel’s reprehensible revelation is inadvertent. She refers to appeasing the Ukrainian regime as a way to eventually build up its fighting strength against Russia. She invokes this reasoning as a way to justify why she objected to Ukraine’s earlier membership of the NATO alliance in 2008. The fact of membership wasn’t wrong, it was just a matter of wrong timing, according to Merkel.

As respected independent military analyst Scott Ritter points out, Merkel also knew that the Kiev regime installed by the CIA-backed coup d’état in 2014 was not interested in a peaceful resolution of the civil war in that country.

The unspoken policy in Berlin was all about buying time for the anticipated aggression against Russia. This was in spite of the fact that Germany along with France was supposed to be a guarantor of the Minsk peace agreements negotiated in 2014 and 2015.

In other words, Ukraine was primed for war against Russia from 2014 onwards.

Merkel’s admission is therefore really a confession of Western duplicity towards Russia, as Ritter astutely notes.

Plenty more at the link, all of it damning for the unabashedly evil Western manipulators running this whole shitshow. While I do have sympathy for the workaday Ukrainians suffering through this, I still don’t give a rat’s patoot about the fate of Ukraine’s current kleptocracy, given how it has functioned for many years now as basically a Democrat Party ATM. And though I harbor neither affection nor allegiance for Pooty-Poot (as the ridiculous George W Bush called him), if he takes Zelensky and his corrupt cabal down hard, I won’t be shedding any tears over it.

The plot thickens

Things that make you go “Hmmm.”

Interestinger and interestinger, no? At this point, it looks like we’re well into the “fog of war” phase of developments, after which the truth of the thing probably never will be generally known. Via our good friend Wes.

Update! TL pokes around in the still-smoking ashes of American life for possible motives.

As much as I try, I’m finding it much more difficult to maintain the tone of civility when such evil is being done to our nation. There was an attack on a substation in North Carolina that caused the outage of electricity for up to 40,000 homes, or people one or the other. Immediately the MSM called it an act of terrorism and pinned it on some anti-gay activist. I’m sorry, that just doesn’t wash, not one bit.

First, when they, the communist governors or regulatory bullies, shut down electricity to huge swaths of the population, brownouts or blackouts, they’re cheered for their civic-mindedness in an effort to save the planet. Despite the fact that the planet is in no danger from the natural creation of plant food (CO2). One might as well identify oxygen (O2) as a deadly gas and seek the elimination of it, because, when you remove the CO2 (plant food) and they starve and stop making O2, (human food) you are effectively eliminating the source of oxygen. Morons. (see, my civility is slipping)

…Fourth, if this was an attack, I’d venture to guess that it has much, much less to do with the idea of anti-gay and much, much more to do with the idea that we have had several successive fraudulent elections in a system that requires the voice of the people to be heard to legitimize any function of government. There has been the on-going criminal activity of the “president” his whole family, child sex trafficking being exposed with little done to punish the guilty and an open border infecting millions of people with ailments that had long been conquered only to show up again, now, in our populations from the flood of illegal aliens through the open border. It might have much, much more to do with the exposure of the FTX giant laundering of money back to politicians who voted it out of our pockets and into theirs. It might have much, much more to do with the fact that, just like the day prior to 9/11, the Pentagon has lost track of another 2 trillion dollars. It might have much, much more to do with the fact that the FBI has been seeking a means of labeling anyone who believes in America terrorists. It might have much, much more to do with the fact that the FBI now is clearly anti-American and going so far to wreck the system that they engaged in election interference in 2016, 2020 and 2022.

Fifth, I don’t doubt that the attack on the substation could be considered a terrorist attack for which the guilty should face, at least the same or a marginally lesser charge that those who took over a whole city block in Seattle, Washington while all manner of murders, sexual assaults and robberies took place; a part of downtown Portland and set fire to a church and other things in Washington, DC.

Finally, there is a price to pay for fraud, always. It might not be immediate, or just, but eventually, when you knock out the underpinnings of legal, organized society with illegality run amok on just one political side without recourse, indictment or penalty, it naturally makes the people in general feel oppressed and targeted, even though they are largely unaffiliated with one political view or another. In their non-protected status, i.e., neither left, nor right, they feel the yoke of political machinations beyond their control and lash out. This will happen more often and to a greater degree as long as this obvious acceptance of illegality persists.

The left wants to point at the right and say “see, we knew they were violent,” but their violence toward society has been evident for a long time. The riots during 2020 brought out two particular point-in-fact events, the Kyle Rittenhouse shooting and the lawyer couple brandishing weapons against a mob. Both had sympathies toward the cause of injustice to minorities, but were there to defend themselves. It ceases to be political when one feels personally threatened and this is what the overwhelming lawlessness of the Biden years has caused in the general public.

They forget though, that these unaffiliated citizens are on the front lines and exposed to all of the horrible forces the unaccountable government has unleashed with their unlawful, egregious acts. They’re the ones who watch their children die of fentanyl poisoning, of “vaccine” poisoning. They’re the ones whose children are being sexually abused, confused and manipulated. They’re the ones who are being killed going to buy groceries, or walking to a restaurant by some murderer let off for the tenth time in no-bail Democrat hell holes. They’re the ones who lost their job so illegal immigrants have a place to work. They’re the ones who will suffer when the new round of suppressive Covid-derived lockdowns occur.

But they’re also the ones who run everything, build everything, distribute everything, own everything and pay taxes on everything. When some naïve or narcissistic government attempts to control them, they will see resistance on a scale and in a way they will not be able to control, label or demonize, that’s when the next round of illegality is permitted with an “I didn’t see any criminal activity” excuse. When that faction of the public turns against the tyrants, there will be nowhere to hide and as the government tries to “crack down” on them, they will experience the physics of continually compressing a balloon. Eventually, it blows up. It’s the one who attempts to compress the balloon that causes the eruption, not the balloon.

Yup. They’re doing the same thing they always do: sowing the seeds of their own destruction, and they’re either too stupid to know it, or too secure in their own arrogance to care.

Amerika v2.0’s energy future: ain’t none

As laid out by our senile, decrepit, corrupt old pervert of a Pretend pResident.

Biden Keeps Promising To Make Energy More Expensive. Believe Him.

Precisely so. After all, it’s the only thing the rat-bastard has ever said that was actually true.

Yes, we’re going to make energy more expensive.

That’s Joe Biden’s closing message for 2022. “We’re going to be shutting these [coal] plants down all across America and having wind and solar,” Biden told a crowd in deep blue California on Friday, arguing that it was “cheaper” to generate electricity from wind and solar.

I’ve noted this before more than once here, but it bears revisiting now and again: the technology of the distant, long-dead past can never be adequate to meet the energy demands of modern industrialized economies.

The earliest-known references to windmills are to a Persian millwright in AD 644 and to windmills in Seistan, Persia, in AD 915. These windmills are of the horizontal-mill type, with sails radiating from a vertical axis standing in a fixed building, which has openings for the inlet and outlet of the wind diametrically opposite to each other. Each mill drives a single pair of stones directly, without the use of gears, and the design is derived from the earliest water mills. Persian millwrights, taken prisoner by the forces of Genghis Khan, were sent to China to instruct in the building of windmills; their use for irrigation there has lasted ever since.

The vertical windmill, with sails on a horizontal axis, derives directly from the Roman water mill with its right-angle drive to the stones through a single pair of gears. The earliest form of vertical mill is known as the post mill. It has a boxlike body containing the gearing, millstones, and machinery and carrying the sails. It is mounted on a well-supported wooden post socketed into a horizontal beam on the level of the second floor of the mill body. On this it can be turned so that the sails can be faced into the wind.

The next development was to place the stones and gearing in a fixed tower. This has a movable top, or cap, which carries the sails and can be turned around on a track, or curb, on top of the tower. The earliest-known illustration of a tower mill is dated about 1420. Both post and tower mills were to be found throughout Europe and were also built by settlers in America.

To work efficiently, the sails of a windmill must face squarely into the wind, and in the early mills the turning of the post-mill body, or the tower-mill cap, was done by hand by means of a long tailpole stretching down to the ground. In 1745 Edmund Lee in England invented the automatic fantail. This consists of a set of five to eight smaller vanes mounted on the tailpole or the ladder of a post mill at right angles to the sails and connected by gearing to wheels running on a track around the mill. When the wind veers it strikes the sides of the vanes, turns them and hence the track wheels also, which turn the mill body until the sails are again square into the wind. The fantail may also be fitted to the caps of tower mills, driving down to a geared rack on the curb.

Interesting enough as a historical study, no doubt, but there’s a reason windmills were in the main abandoned: because, as civilization progressed and technological advances were achieved one after another, something much better came along to replace them. As, y’know, tends to happen over time. As for solar panels, they are by no means anything new either.

It all began with Edmond Becquerel, a young physicist working in France, who in 1839 observed and discovered the photovoltaic effect— a process that produces a voltage or electric current when exposed to light or radiant energy. A few decades later, French mathematician Augustin Mouchot was inspired by the physicist’s work. He began registering patents for solar-powered engines in the 1860s. From France to the U.S., inventors were inspired by the patents of the mathematician and filed for patents on solar-powered devices as early as 1888.

Take a light step back to 1883 when New York inventor Charles Fritts created the first solar cell by coating selenium with a thin layer of gold. Fritts reported that the selenium module produced a current “that is continuous, constant, and of considerable force.” This cell achieved an energy conversion rate of 1 to 2 percent. Most modern solar cells work at an efficiency of 15 to 20 percent. So, Fritts created what was a low impact solar cell, but still, it was the beginning of photovoltaic solar panel innovation in America. Named after Italian physicist, chemist and pioneer of electricity and power, Alessandro Volta, photovoltaic is the more technical term for turning light energy into electricity, and used interchangeably with the term photoelectric.

…That same year (1888), a Russian scientist by the name of Aleksandr Stoletov created the first solar cell based on the photoelectric effect, which is when light falls on a material and electrons are released. This effect was first observed by a German physicist, Heinrich Hertz. In his research, Hertz discovered that more power was created by ultraviolet light than visible light. Today, solar cells use the photoelectric effect to convert sunlight into power. In 1894, American inventor Melvin Severy received patents 527,377 for an “Apparatus for mounting and operating thermopiles” and 527,379 for an “Apparatus for generating electricity by solar heat.” Both patents were essentially early solar cells based on the discovery of the photoelectric effect. The first generated “electricity by the action of solar heat upon a thermo-pile” and could produce a constant electric current during the daily and annual movements of the sun, which alleviated anyone from having to move the thermopile according to the sun’s movements. Severy’s second patent from 1889 was also meant for using the sun’s thermal energy to produce electricity for heat, light and power. The “thermos piles,” or solar cells as we call them today, were mounted on a standard to allow them to be controlled in the vertical direction as well as on a turntable, which enabled them to move in a horizontal plane. “By the combination of these two movements, the face of the pile can be maintained opposite the sun all times of the day and all seasons of the year,” reads the patent.

Uh huh…on each and every day the sun is shining, which is nothing like every day, not anywhere in the entire world. Then we get into the storage end of the solar-power equation, ie, batteries. Which, despite some genuine improvement over recent years, is a whole ‘nother kettle of expensive, unreliable, not-ready-for-prime-time fish, other than on a very small, private-home scale.

Ironic, is it not, that the very ones who have for so long insufferably claimed to have a corner on plumping for “new ideas” and “fresh concepts” and “progress”—even going so far, in their boundless hubris, as to misnomer themselves “Progressives”—are the selfsame ones who today insist that “the way of the Future” is to regress to the dim and distant past. Back to the Harsanyi piece for the sad, sorry denouement.

In California, which not only leads the nation in “clean energy” production but is leading the rest of us into rolling blackouts, residents pay 24.62 cents per kilowatt-hour for energy, around double the national average. There are only three other states where residents fork 20 or more cents over, the isolated Hawaii and Alaska and the frack-banning New York. The price of a gallon of gas in California is around two dollars over the national average, at $5.458. In Texas, it’s $3.173.

The president also forgot to mention that affordable natural gas, propelled by technological efficiencies like fracking, is as much a reason for the struggles of coal.

After West Virginia’s Joe Manchin groused about Biden’s denigration of his state’s top industry , the White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, “walked back” the comments, contending that the president’s “remarks yesterday have been twisted to suggest a meaning that was not intended; he regrets it if anyone hearing these remarks took offense.”

How they were distorted, she did not say. The statement stresses that the president understands that “the men and women of coal country built this nation” but that, yes, we must shut down the coal industry — as well as the oil and gas production. Biden is sorry that you’re offended. “Our goal as a nation is to combat climate change and increase our energy security by producing clean and efficient American energy,” the statement falsely goes on to say. Wind and solar, both victims to vagaries of the weather, aren’t, by any definition, “efficient.”

The kerfuffle, as with most debates over gas and oil, is confusing. The administration’s stated goal — one of the major policy planks of the Democratic Party — is to deliberately, through mandates or bans or taxes or contrived “markets,” make fossil fuels prohibitively expensive to force a “transition.” Biden’s Plan for a Clean Energy Revolution and Environmental Justice promises that a 100 percent clean energy economy and net-zero emissions will exist no later than 2050. California has banned new gas-powered cars by 2035. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal, supported by virtually every Democratic Party presidential candidate last time around, is far more extreme.

None of these climate plans can be implemented without the effective nationalization of the energy sector and the banning of fossil fuels. Solar, after decades of mandates and subsidies and cronyism, accounts for around 3 percent of the national portfolio. Both wind and solar need to be propped up by fossil fuel generation. In anything resembling a functioning market, “clean energy” loses, not only to oil, gas, and coal, but also to nuclear power.

Well, they need to be propped up by sustainable, plentiful fossil fuels if one assumes that the shitlib goal is to provide energy sufficient to heat and cool American homes, keep American fridges and freezers stocked and the sustenance within them unspoiled, invigorate our economy, and just generally keep Western Civ moving forward efficiently and affordably. Unfortunately for us all, there is no discernible sign to date that any such thing is their actual goal. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Not on Our Side

Utterly, completely appalling. Also despicable.

Although yes, this nauseating, enraging vid comes to us from the People’s Republic of Australia, anybody still expecting any significant number of American lawdoggies to jump in on the side of We The People when the shit truly hits the fan is STRONGLY advised to rethink that fanciful delusion.

Perpetual escalation

When they say “mission creep,” this is one of the things they’re talking about.

Ridiculous
Trust the CDC, they alway know what’s best for you

Via Chief Nose Wetter and Aesop, who is horrified, and rightly so:

I’m not anti-vaxx per se, unlike Jenny McCarthy-level nutters (vaccines have utility, and wiping out smallpox worldwide was no petty accomplishment), but pumping this quantity of shit so often, and so young, has long since crossed the line into sheer lunacy, and has a lot to do with how you ever got to Covidiocy now. This nonsense should’ve been nipped in the bud about thirty years back.

Just one among many, many other things that should’ve been as well. The Founders knew and greatly dreaded a home truth that we have, to our great detriment, allowed ourselves to either forget or perhaps ignore: perpetual escalation is the way of all government. Give government a single inch, and it will eventually take everything you have.

Look back in anger

A capsule review of where we are and how we got here.

As some may remember, Biden practiced plagiarism in law school, where he was a bottom feeder. In 1988, when Biden first ran for president, he ripped off a speech by British leftist Neil Kinnock. Biden’s 2008 presidential bid went nowhere but the Delaware Democrat still thought he was the best man for the job. But even Mark Bowden’s hagiographical “Joe Biden, Salesman” exposed the Oval Office occupant as a know-nothing incompetent.

By 2020, Biden was telling African Americans “you ain’t black” if they didn’t vote for him. According to the former vice president, auto workers who disagreed with him were “full of shit.” As he spouted gibberish, Biden was sometimes uncertain of dates, times, and locations. Even so, Democrats made him their party’s nominee.

Cellar-dweller Biden failed to conduct a national campaign in 2020. Key states rushed to change election laws, and party “mules” stuffed ballot boxes in the middle of the night. Democrats had often challenged election results but now any challenge was a threat to national security and Our Democracy™. Without comparisons of previous contests, the press proclaimed 2020 the fairest election of all time. As the establishment media had it, the nation had been panting for an addled plagiarist.

More than 25,000 troops guarded the inauguration, and 7,000 remained in the nation’s capital until late May. If anybody thought that Joe Biden was selected, not elected, or “installed” in the manner of Third World dictatorships, it would be hard to blame them.

In March 2021, Biden fell three times getting into an airplane, so the Delaware Democrat has a problem with basic motor functions. For all but the willfully blind, Biden is physically and mentally incapable of exercising national office. Conrad Black calls him a waxworks effigy of a president, but that might be too kind.

He handed the Taliban $7 billion of some of our best military equipment, and abandoned many Americans and Afghan allies. Biden hired the Taliban to provide security, and a terrorist bomb claimed 13 American lives and at least 95 Afghans. The Delaware Democrat then claimed the withdrawal was an “extraordinary success.”

On Biden’s watch, goods are more scarce, everything costs more, and your money is worth less. When a reporter asked about inflation, Biden called him a “stupid son of a bitch.” Biden canceled pipelines and drilling leases and sent the price of gasoline skyrocketing. The Delaware Democrat now claims gas was “always” $7 a gallon in California. And he sends oil from America’s strategic reserve to China.

Under Biden, the U.S. border is in perpetual crisis and the Delaware Democrat disregards U.S. immigration law. The administration gave “migrants” more than 300,000 smartphones, at a cost to U.S. taxpayers of $361,218.08 per day. The Biden junta allows illegals to use arrest warrants as identification to board domestic flights. Just so you know, legal immigrants and legitimate citizens can’t do that.

Biden proclaimed COVID-19 a “pandemic of the unvaccinated,” which placed many workers at risk of losing their jobs, or their positions in the military. Then Biden and Dr. Anthony Fauci both tested positive for COVID, repeatedly, so Biden’s earlier statement was kind of like a lie.

So the chants of “fuck Biden” were perfectly understandable.

If this is what Delaware “Democracy” looks like, maybe Civil War v2.0 ought to kick off with the rest of the states teaming up to kick Delaware’s ass up between its shoulder blades, so to speak. There’s more yet, incredibly enough, and dismal and depressing though it surely is you’ll still want to read it all.

Yes, they’re coming for your children; now, what are you gonna do about it?

Could this turn out to be the final straw—the one that breaks the camel’s back, driving the great mass of heretofore-complacent Americans to get off their duffs at long last and embrace an open, vigorous revolt against their avowed enemies in the federal government of the (former) United States?

For nearly two years, we’ve been told the Covid-19 “vaccines” offer varying degrees of protection while offering varying varying degrees of risks. The trajectory of these two attributes of the jabs have been heading in opposite directions every since their launch. At first, we were told the injections received emergency use authorization because they were 100% effective and offered zero risk. Over time, that effectiveness number has steadily dropped while the risk factor has risen, though the degree to which these numbers have fallen and risen has been shrouded by lies, gaslighting, and a persistent narrative.

The powers-that-be have continuously changed their own narrative, but one thing has remained consistent throughout. They continue to push for every man, woman, and child to be injected as many times as possible.

On today’s episode of The JD Rucker Show, I discussed several stories and played a few videos that highlight while today is a “tipping point” for vaccine tyranny. The perceived mandate by the CDC to force vaccinations on school-age children contradicts every piece of data we have available. Children face infinitesimal risks to Covid and far greater risks from the jabs themselves. On top of that, the jabs appear to have negative efficacy that gets worse with each subsequent shot, draining away immune systems and replacing what God gave us with the abominations of manufactured spike proteins and other chemical toxins.

If we can’t stop this, we can’t stop them at all. By no means does that mean we stop fighting. It simply means our fight is to save a remnant and to prevent tyranny from spreading more quickly.

Dude, we reached that stage long, long ago. Happily, though, there’s at least one state whose governor refuses to bend the knee to Leviathan’s evil, grasping minions.

Guess which one. Go on, guess. I dares ya.

Ron DeSantis: “There Will Be No Covid-19 ‘Vaccine’ Mandate for Children in Our Schools”

The CDC is adding the Covid-19 shots to the Childhood Immunization Schedule. This will compel some states to mandate the jabs for school-aged children. It will also prompt other states who are not locked into CDC guidelines to opt into them anyway.

But not Florida. Not on Ron DeSantis’s watch.

Telegraphing their punches

This Ralph Peters post from a few days ago dovetails pretty nicely with BCE’s post below on Predictive Programming.

How do we know what they are planning to do to us? Easy. Just listen to what they tell us they’re planning to do to us.

As for example this recent business with PayPal. A “policy” was announced (and quickly retracted) that stated account holders would be “fined” for the usually opaque reasons, such as “spreading misinformation” – never specifically defined – as if that mattered because PayPal wasn’t talking about refusing to provide a platform for the propagation of views it opposes (even if factual).

That being merely censorship.

And yes, it is precisely that when it is done in cooperation with the government, as a way to get around the irritating First Amendment that would otherwise constrain the government. The whack-a-mole nonsense about “private companies” having the “right” to not publish that which is disagreeable to them is precisely that – nonsense – because the “social media” corporations are creatures of the government as a matter of legal standing and simple fact and, moreover, actively work with the government to suppress the publication of that which the government regards as disagreeable.

But PayPal is not a “social media” company and what it proposed to do wasn’t merely to refuse to do business with those it finds disagreeable – which is an interesting thing in its own right when you remember that the Left has winnied for decades about the wrongfulness of free association in business transactions. It is in fact illegal – “discrimination” – to decline to transact business with, for instance, people whose sexual orientation you regard as not merely distasteful but morally wrong. Try – if you own a bake shop – to refuse to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple, for instance. The government will fine you – and worse – for doing that.

So much for free association…when it doesn’t suit the Left.

And also when it does.

Anyhow, they wanted to let us know. It wasn’t an accident, a sllp of the tongue – a poorly worded “release.” It was a shot across the bow. It was a warning that this is what they intend for us.

And what is that, exactly?

It is a system of total financial control in which your economic life can be ended as easily as turning off the power. It is the individual-level manifesation of ESG – the Environmental, Social and Governance shibboleths that lately determine corporate investment (or not) and in what (or not). Not according to what benefits shareholders but rather, according to what furthers-along whatever the narrative-du-jour happens to be. “Climate change,” for instance. It drives investment capital away from things that make money – and work – such as oil and cars that aren’t electric and diverts it toward “green” energy and EeeeeeeVeeees that don’t.

The next step is the application of ESG Principles to individuals – by punishing them when they fail to hew to the narrative-du-jour. Post something critical of “climate change” hysteria – or a fact about the drugs that aren’t “vaccines” – and they will simply Hoover up your money and style it a “fine.” It’ll do a lot to make sure you stay in line.

If you doubt it’s what they have planned, you failed to get the message they just sent.

What can we do?

I favor shooting the fucking bastards in the fucking face with a full-auto battle rifle myself, but maybe that’s just me. I’m ornery like that sometimes.

As to PayPal’s shift from being a payment portal right into full-bore gangsterism and grand larceny, y’all may have noticed the new Gab Pay link over in the right sidebar. Barry was kind enough to test it for me with a donation, but after talking it over a bit with him earlier today we still aren’t completely sure it’s working correctly. The problem probably exists somewhere between my monitor and my chair, but in any event I’m thinking I’ll leave the PayPal button in place for the nonce, until such time as I’m confident I have everything wired and plumbed properly. If you decide to use the Gab Pay button yourself, please be sure to let me know how it all went, ‘kay?

“FINALLY”

Is there really NOTHING they’ll leave alone? No need to answer that one; it’s a rhetorical question, one whose answer we already know.

The creators of a new “Scooby-Doo” movie have finally depicted Velma as a lesbian on screen, after years of speculation about the beloved character’s sexuality but no definitive portrayals of her as queer in the popular cartoon franchise.

Velma crushes on another female character, a costume designer named Coco Diablo, in a Halloween special, “Trick or Treat Scooby-Doo,” that was released online Tuesday and will debut on Cartoon Network on Oct. 14. She’s voiced by actor and comedian Kate Micucci.

In one scene, Velma’s glasses fog up and her cheeks redden as she fawns over Coco. “Jinkies,” Velma says — her classic tag line. She flirts with Coco throughout the movie, clearly smitten.

Velma gets into some hot, down and dirty dildo action with Coco in 5…4…3…2…Because, y’know, that’s what Saturday morning cartoons are really all about, innit.

Everything about gay sex, nothing outside gay sex, no gay sexual stones left unturned. Even, now, childrens’ cartoons. What a bunch of despicable, repulsive, sex-obsessed freaks these shitlibs are.

Amerikan ordeal

Apologies to the author, JB Shurk, for my wanton stomping flat of the very concept of Fair Use. He’s written another of those excellent, Wilder-esque pieces that I just can’t see any way around it.

Several members of the community recently focused my attention on the plight of J6 political prisoner Jonathan Mellis, who has already spent nineteen months in the American Gulag for the “crime” of protesting against his government.

Mellis is one of hundreds who have endured the wrath of a wayward Washington politburo that has thrown Americans’ Bill of Rights and founding principles right out the window. Dennis Prager actually managed to secure a fifteen-minute interview with the incarcerated Mellis on December 22, 2021, and has replayed the disturbing audio for his listeners several times. I encourage anyone who has not already come across it to find a few minutes to concentrate on their conversation. The thirty-five-year-old Mellis, whom Prager identifies as a native Tennessean, although he was arrested in Virginia, sounds remarkably calm and composed, considering that he had already endured nearly a full year in jail (with no end yet in sight) and was obviously communicating with Prager from behind enemy lines.

His story is similar to those of other J6 political prisoners caught up in this abusive, Soviet-style purge, yet his descriptions are unnervingly poignant. Like so many of us who angrily watched as mass mail-in balloting and other pandemic-related voting shenanigans corrupted the 2020 election, Mellis hoped January 6 would stand as a historic day when civic-minded Americans engaging in political protest would successfully convince Congress and the courts to take a hard look at the suspicious irregularities tainting the election. He is undoubtedly a fiercely patriotic American who loves his country and would sacrifice anything for it. He speaks as a man committed to America’s foundations in liberty. He does not sound as if malice has blighted his heart. He arrived in D.C. to defend America’s standing as the “Land of the Free.” He expected to rectify an electoral injustice. He wanted D.C.’s permanent bureaucracy to visually see the resolve of millions of Americans’ moral conviction. He expected triumph. And he has received little but despair.

Instead of delivering historic jubilation, January 6 has marked a hard turning point in his life and the beginning of an unrelenting nightmare. He’s been in and out of solitary confinement, endured an onslaught of racist invective and other verbal abuse, witnessed beatings from guards, spit out contaminated food, been denied hygienic care, and suffered through an unsanitary hellscape of backed up toilets and filthy, fetid cells meant to break his will and coerce him into accepting some kind of plea deal. He describes the agony of surviving alone for days at a time, cut off from reality and forced to seek solace in the refuge of his mind. The last time he saw his father was when he was being dragged away with the kind of force one might expect to be used against a wanted terrorist. When his father, a decorated Vietnam War veteran, died a few months later, Judge Emmet Sullivan (yes, the same Sullivan who hounded General Michael Flynn and insisted on persecuting him long after the government sought to drop its politically-motivated criminal charges) summarily denied his request to attend the funeral, again equating him to a violent terrorist who must be made to suffer. In Mellis’s words, you hear the story of a man who has been psychologically tortured and kept in a constant state of apprehension at what will befall him next. You hear a man whom the federal government wishes to drown in fear.

Yet you also hear a man who refuses to break. “We sing the National Anthem every single night, at nine P.M., with our hands on our hearts,” he tells Prager. Imagine that for one small moment. The U.S. government — with its armies of prosecutors, FBI Gestapo squads, complicit judges, and corrupt news media propagandists who ask no questions while pushing the all-powerful State’s lies — has targeted Jonathan Mellis and nearly a thousand other Americans for being “insurrectionists” and “domestic terrorists” intent on “overthrowing” the United States. Yet it is Mellis and a few dozen other political prisoners who seek to lift each other’s spirits by singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” each night. You know — the poetic anthem that stirred in the mind and soul of Francis Scott Key as he watched a large American flag flying triumphantly over Fort McHenry while it sustained bombardment from Britain’s Royal Navy during the Battle of Baltimore in the War of 1812.

So committed to “insurrection” and “overthrowing” the government of the United States are the federal government’s “dangerous” political prisoners that they gather their strength when they’re able and sing tribute to the very nation that inflicts upon them such grievous harm. These are the American patriots the D.C. Despots have decided to torment, torture, and betray. These are the lost Americans who have been mostly forgotten for now but who will one day serve as living testament to Washington’s venality and as a breathing reminder of the horrendously ignoble American Gulag. These are the Americans the federal government wishes to break before all our eyes, so that no citizen anywhere will ever again consider electing an unapproved outsider candidate for president, calling out government corruption, or demanding justice from those who pretend to dispense it. How many denizens of D.C. could even accurately recite America’s National Anthem? I wonder. It’s as Prager said to Mellis upon hearing about the patriotic revelry: “That, my friend, is considered an extremist.”  Damn right.

Because Mellis refuses to break, he will remain a target in the crosshairs of an immoral government dedicated to persecution, not principle. He is of particular focus because he was involved directly in the mêlée that resulted in Rosanne Boyland’s death. She “died right in front of me,” Mellis said on a recorded phone call from jail.  “I still hear the blood curdling screams for help at night.” Boyland’s death was originally blamed on a drug overdose, but video footage shows her being repeatedly beaten by a D.C. police officer. Mellis is seen pushing back against police, while trying to defend Boyland from further injury. As further evidence of good character, Mellis is recorded earlier in the day assisting an officer who had fallen into the crowd. Normally, we would recognize that kind of pattern-or-practice evidence as demonstrating moral courage. The federal criminal justice system sees it as proof why Mellis should be held in jail without bail, trial, or prospect of release.

None of this is right. We have gone so far beyond what is good and right or fair that the damage the Washington Establishment class continues to inflict will fester like an unhealed wound upon the nation’s body politic, striking even the most complacent among us with its putrid stench. The Occupant of the White House, Joe Biden, insists that when Americans have the temerity to question election results or the sacred honor of their government bureaucrats, they threaten the U.S. Constitution itself. As with most utterances from Biden, his words are un-American and preposterous. We seek a renewal of the Constitution and a rejection of the Washington Deep State’s casual disregard for its meaning and the intentional malice its bureaucratic servants dedicate to its degradation. Just as with Mellis and other J6 political prisoners, we stand with America.

As the horrific plight of Mellis and his fellow dissidents in the New Amerikan Gulag incontrovertibly confirms, America is but a fond memory. The title of the post is apt, blunt, and in a way, unfortunate: Enough Already: Release the J6 Political Prisoners. Until those Shurk calls “the most complacent among us” rouse themselves to effective action, the J6 Patriots will remain in durance vile—because the title’s explicit demand falls on the deaf ears of tyrants, who have no intention whatsoever of releasing anybody. If anything, the cells of the New Gulag will be filling up with many more of us as time rolls on, while we continue to do nothing in support of our unjustly-persecuted countrymen.

As of  9/6, there have been over 900 Americans arrested and charged for the “crime” of exercising their Constitutionally-guaranteed right to protest—to petition for redress of grievances. Around 65 or so of them are in prison, almost all of them convicted on bullshit charges of “parading,” not insurrection or treason. Of those, many have been denied any semblance of due process, and are incarcerated in squalid, inhumane conditions like poor Jon Mellis, as described above. If the soulless Swamp monsters and their willing dupes who prattle endlessly and insufferably on in turgid condemnation of the “destruction” and “damage” of the J6 “riots”; the “defiling” of “the citadel of our sacred democracy”; the “violence” of the J6 “insurrectionists”; and the “treason” committed by those dastardly “revolutionaries” really want to avert an encore, perhaps they could consider not doing things that make insurrection seem needful to MAGA Americans.

FTFBI

An eerily prescient piece from Joy Pullman.

The FBI And DOJ Criminalizing Opposition To The Regime Is How The Republic Ends
A two-tier justice system is not a justice system. It is a totalitarian system. Its purpose is not justice but population control.

On Thursday, Barack Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder decided it was the time to bring the subtext of the Jan. 6 show trials and related domestic security state activities into the open.

“My guess is that by the end of this process, you’re going to see indictments involving high-level people in the White House, you’re going to see indictments against people outside the White House who were advising them with regard to the attempt to steal the election, and I think ultimately you’re probably going to see the president, former president of the United States indicted as well,” Holder told SiriusXM host Joe Madison.

Holder noted that the U.S. Department of Justice he formerly headed is working with the illegally constituted Jan. 6 Commission towards this goal. We know these entities are also working with the FBI, whose head bit his thumb at congressional oversight repeatedly in a public hearing last week.

An indictment of former President Donald Trump would be a breathtakingly authoritarian turn. It would amount to the U.S. security state refusing to accept “no” from America’s voters yet again. An indictment would be an unelected and unaccountable federal agency overruling voters’ two-time rejection of impeachment through their elected representatives.

This is the core danger of the administrative state: Its now open propensity to go rogue. It is apparently hellbent now on turning the United States into a banana republic.

The Deep State’s muscular veto over Who Will Rule is being flexed right out in the open with its implacable, fanatical, systemic persecution of Trump both during his nefariously derailed White House tenure and back on Civvy Street.

Democrats called Donald Trump a fascist, authoritarian, and wannabe dictator for chants at his rallies of “Lock her up,” referring to his opponent Hillary Clinton. At the time, leftists pointed out that imprisoning, interrogating, investigating, and otherwise using government resources to harass and prosecute one’s political opponents was the mark of tyrannical regimes such as Vladimir Putin’s and Adolf Hitler. “Democracies don’t lock up political opponents,” the Washington Post editorial board told us in 2016.

Anybody foolhardy, naive, or gullible enough to still believe that Amerika v2.0 is a “democracy,” please find a thick, plush towel to dry yourself behind the ears, mmmkay? It’s the most bitter irony I know of: the easiest way a “democracy” can be subverted, weakened, and eventually brought crashing down with the barest minimum of bloody conflict is to blind itself into torpor and inaction as the erstwhile Loyal Opposition is busily transitioning into full-blown Enemies, Domestic™.

That is still true when the ones pushing the interrogations, investigations, entrapments into committing felonies, show trials in unusual venues with no cross-examination or due process, early morning home raids, excessive detainment, and asymmetrical punishments are Democrats.

Sorry, no. The very moment when those “political opponents” first begin “pushing the interrogations, &c” is when said Democracy MUST act vigorously in defense of its own continued existence, else it will surely be destroyed.

Rigid adherence to principles and ideals such as “Democracies don’t lock up political opponents” when you are under assault by revolutionaries who are cunning enough to weaponize those very principles for use in overwhelming and toppling your noble democracy is hapless idiocy of the purest ray serene.

The Demonrats have openly proclaimed their intention to supplant the limited central government envisioned and created by our Founders under their Constitution and replace it with an intrusive federal monolith possessed of unlimited power, inhibited by no shame, compassion, or decency, answerable to no outside authority or ombudsman. Our Founders were completely direct and plainspoken about what must be the response of a free people to such clearly predatory depredations. Their prescribed remedy assuredly does NOT mention meticulously maintaining strictest observance of the full rights and privileges for turncoats who are no longer due the privileges and courtesies they long ago squatted and shat upon.

Cross the line from legitimate dissent into outright sedition, as a majority of the Democrat Party incontrovertibly has done for years? Man up, own it, take your lumps without cavil or complaint, then. Don’t act as if the concepts you’ve denounced and the country you’ve betrayed owe you anything more nor less than a fair trial, followed by a first-class hanging.

Spade=spade

Treason, straight up.

Joe Biden is busy blaming gas station owners for the soaring prices of filling up at the pump.

Why, those dirty birds!

It’s his latest scheme to deflect blame for the nasty price shocks he’s brought on us, with gas going for about $5 a gallon nationwide, and $6-something in tax-happy, save-the-planet California.

He’s also blamed Putin, Big Oil producers, oil refineries, Republicans, and anyone but himself when it’s obvious enough that the root of the problem is his crush-the-oil-industry policies that he launched on day one in the name of “going green.” Combine it with his monster rounds of federal money-printing, which has brought on authentic inflation, and it’s a double-whammy of inflation and constrained supply.

Oh, but rest assured, he says he’s the good guy here:

I promise you I’m doing everything possible — everything possible to bring the price of energy down, gas prices down. And I want to make sure we all work on this together.

So he babbled. That’s from the White House official transcript.

His “everything possible” is weasel words. What he means is everything possible for him politically to bring down prices, not everything possible that will result actual price-cutting at the pump.

That’s why he’s failed refused to reverse his horrible decisions on the Keystone XL pipeline from Canada,

FIFY, Monica mine.

which would have brought America all the energy it needed, or reverse his bad decisions on drilling on federal land and waters, which would have restored American energy independence and maybe even made the U.S. an exporter of energy again. Those would be moves he could just throw the word out he was doing and would have brought energy prices down at least somewhat, minus the cost of Fed-generated inflation, given the importance of the futures market to energy trading. Instead, he’s gone begging the Saudis and Venezuelans to pump more oil for him and released about half the Strategic Petroleum Reserves, using it as an open-market mechanism to blunt the effect his bad policies rather than for the emergencies it’s intended to address. None of this has brought down the price of oil.

Think I was engaging in a little over-the-top rhetoricization with that “treason” business, do ya? Where is all this “treason,” forsooth? Gird your loins, O ye doubting Thomasii.

Now we learn that a huge chunk of this oil has gone abroad — to Europe, which, like the grasshopper that never bothered to save for a rainy day, what with Putin on the march demanding to be paid in rubles for his oil and natural gas, has left the continent short. Putin’s doing great on the price of petroleum, having lots of markets to sell to if Europe won’t buy from him, and the Russian ruble has strengthened. Worse still, a lot of this SPR release has gone to Asia, particularly China, which isn’t using it to fuel gas stations.

According to Reuters, which broke the story, it’s some 5 million barrels in just the last month alone, arriving at China’s Pacific ports.

The American Energy Alliance points out that it’s actually worse than it looks. China isn’t even using the oil; it’s stockpiling it for its own strategic petroleum reserves, meaning the U.S. oil taken off the market is not helping to lower the price of crude even on a worldwide basis.

I’m not an unreasonable man. That being so, I am perfectly willing to stipulate that Fuck(ing) Jaux Biden might actually NOT be the sorriest sumvabitch who ever shat behind a pair of shoes. But with this revoltin’ development, it couldn’t be more obvious that that ain’t the way to bet.

Oh, for the halcyon days of yore, when we used to hang scuzznuggets who pulled shit like this by their necks until they were dead, dead, DEAD. If this ain’t treason, I hope to never, ever see whatever is.
