Enemies on all sides

This one has been sitting in an open tab waiting for me to get around to posting on it for long enough that I’ve completely forgotten where I originally ran across it, so there’ll be no “Via…” link acknowledging credit, unfortunately. No matter, though; the really important thing is that this story gets read, by as many people as can be reached. Yes, it IS that important, and for more reasons than just one.

U.S.A. –-(AmmoLand.com)- In Garland, Texas, on 3 May 2015, Gregory Stevens, a veteran police officer with the Garland Police Department, was working off duty as armed security for the “Draw the Prophet” cartoon contest event.

Pamela Geller organized the Draw the Prophet event as a response to Islamic demands that Western Civilization submits to Islamic censorship.

The infamous attack on the Charlie Hebdo offices in Paris had occurred just five months earlier, by two Islamists with AK-47 type rifles and Tokarev pistols.

Many will remember the Draw Mohammed event, in the Dallas suburb of Garland, which was attacked by two Isis recruits.

Few know the details of how one prepared gunfighter police officer faced two Islamic riflemen armed with semi-automatic rifles, handguns, plenty of ammunition, soft body armor, and the element of surprise. He fought them at close range and prevailed.

What you might also remember is how Gellar was roundly, viciously condemned as a “right-wing extremist” who was actually to blame for the attack. The usual shitlib suspects—joined by a depressing number of weak-tea “conservative” commentators bleating along in a pattern that has become all too familiar nowadays—accused Geller of acting as a provocateur, motivated not by any desire to proactively defend freedom of speech against jihadi violence but solely by “racist” anti-Moslem bigotry.

Officer Stevens was working extra hours as armed, uniformed security for the event. He would turn 60 in a few days. He had a long experience as a traffic officer. He was a gun guy, who preferred a 1911 .45 Auto.

As a concession to modern pistol design, he had been issued a Glock model 21, chambered in .45 Auto. He was carrying his Glock in his standard duty rig, with a 13 round magazine, a round chambered, and two spare magazines, for a total of 40 rounds of Speer Gold Dot 230 grain hollowpoints.

At the scene with Greg Stevens is Bruce Joiner, an unarmed security guard from Garland Independent School District (ISD). They are in charge of the back entrance to the event, the West entrance coming off of Naaman Forest Blvd, the entrance the VIPs, caterers, and security teams use.

To those scouting for an attack, it appears to be a weak point. There are only two guards. Only one of them is armed. The armed guard (Officer Stevens) only has one pistol and is older than average.

There had been numerous death threats issued about the event. A competent security plan had been created. Greg says he was put at the back entrance because it was viewed as the “easy job”. He joked the idea was to “give the old guy the easy job”. He had a list of the people authorized to use the entrance, and codes they were required to know in order to use it. It was a shortlist.

Pam Geller and Gert Wilder had been passed through. A snafu with a caterer had been cleared up. Gert Wilder and his security team had left.

Just before 7 p.m. in the evening, Greg went to the restroom. A pair of roving armed security took his place. He took his duty car. He returned to his post. The roving team left.

About five minutes after he returned, a small black car pulls up, and stops, abruptly, facing away from the entrance.

Greg’s hair starts standing up on the back of his neck. His “police sense” starts going off. Something is not “right”. The car has out-of-state plates, from Arizona. Immediately, both doors to the car open at the same time.

Gripping stuff so far, no? Ahh, just you wait; trust me, the story is only beginning to get good. Suffice it to say that Stevens—a courageous, conscientious, and thoroughly competent cop—very likely saved a lot of lives with his keen professional instincts, quick reflexes, and the cool-calm-and-collected application of a scrupulously-maintained skillset that day. He represents a vanishing breed—the sort of man society will never have enough of, but cannot prosper long without.

The real kicker, though, comes in at the end of the piece. I won’t go into any of that, other than to note that the FBI is involved, making it another of those anomalies that one might find shocking but is unsurprising nonetheless. Happily, I just now remembered where I saw the above article first, a blog which just happens to be run by a fine young feller who is by no means unknown in this neck of the woods. He fleshes the whole thing out with additional details and some quite disturbing observations of his own.

Never underestimate your enemy

They aren’t haplessly floundering about. They’re working a plan.

For every monstrosity the Democrats drag forth before the public, they are pursuing another hundred out of the spotlight within the labyrinthine administrative state that makes law while no-one is looking. This administration is relentless in pursuing bad policies that hurt Americans and erode further the few constitutional bonds that keep the nation intact.

Which leads to a painful possibility:

I find myself asking the same questions millions of Americans now ask themselves: given this campaign of outright hostility toward the American people and general dereliction of duty to protect and defend the states, is the American government intentionally trying to provoke civil conflict? Are all these horrendous policies leading to armed confrontation against red state holdouts? Has D.C. transformed the Iraq War’s “Preemptive War” Doctrine into a plan of action against its own citizens?

Yes. C’mon, ask me a HARD one, whydon’tcha.

The estimable Sundance at Conservative Treehouse thinks so and recently posted a blunt warning that the Democrats’ overt politicization of the U.S. military (its staged Capitol encampment, ideological purge of Trump voters, and shameful public battles with conservative news pundits and Republican lawmakers) should be seen as part of a larger strategy by the centralized government in D.C. to prepare for the use of military force against individual states and regions of the country that may choose to push back against unconstitutional federal power grabs in the future. Now that the pretext of using troops to put down MAGA “insurrectionists” has been established, it will be ignominiously used to justify military support for confiscating guns, enforcing extended pandemic lockdowns, and identifying Americans too attached to the Bill of Rights. (The fact that Sundance chose the Ides of March to outline the likelihood of such an intimate betrayal by the military against the states is, I suspect, no coincidence for a meticulous writer who enjoys reaching readers on an emotional, as well as an intellectual, level.)

What really caught my eye, though, was the way commenters responded to the article: they almost universally agreed that the U.S. military could no longer be trusted and that it should instead be viewed as yet another institution successfully co-opted by the Democrats to push “woke” socialism, enforce commie cancel culture, and punish conservatives. Just as James Comey’s spying on the Trump campaign and Robert Mueller’s Democrat-led Russia collusion investigation destroyed the reputations of the FBI and DOJ, and just as John Brennan’s public disinformation and propaganda leaks designed to take down President Trump forever politicized the CIA, now Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s decision to go after and eliminate Trump voters in the military’s ranks has dramatically weakened the public’s trust in the military.

If these questions don’t haunt the men and women now holding the reins of government in D.C., then they are monumental fools on at least two levels: (1) they have deceived themselves into believing that some chimerical international government will provide global peace and security in the years to come; and (2) they have forgotten so much of American history that they actually believe American patriots can be subdued and brought to heel without causing much of a stir.

The first failure reflects profound ignorance; the second failure reflects profound hubris.

Ahh, but there’s the rub: do they really? Is that really what either of these reflect? For the matter of it, is it accurate to call them failures at all?

On the first one: Global government, along with eugenics, rule by Expert, and micromanagement over every last aspect of human society, are the founding principles of Progressivism, the Prime Directives of the Left. They’ve doggedly chased the dream of global government for many decades, and are undeniably closer to seeing it realized than ever. Failure? Not while the US is still a member in good standing of the UselessN, hosting its HQ, tolerating its systemic corruption without demur, and paying most of its bills, it ain’t.

Nor is the second presumed “failure” so easily dismissed. With the successful installation of an illegitimate hard-Left US regime after several generations of incremental infiltration of every nook and cranny of both government and culture, we’ll soon be finding out who can and who cannot be “subdued and brought to heel without causing” etc. It ain’t exactly “profound hubris” if you wind up proven right in the end. After a year’s worth of American cattle obediently moo-ing their way right through the doors of the FauxVID19 slaughterhouse, I wouldn’t want to bet real money either way.

And taken together, these Democrat delusions will deliver a profound American tragedy.

“Profound tragedy,” at least, is spot on. THAT became pretty much a fait accompli when Real Americans permitted, over the course of decades, multifarious “Democrat delusions” to be implemented without meaningful resistance. Trusting souls that they were, the poor dears actually believed the GOPe was sincere in their forked-tongue promises to stand firm against such depradations, and to undo those already in place.

I dunno; it’s all kinda funny, in a way. Or would be, if not for the genuine harm inflicted on so many blameless Americans who really didn’t deserve it. But if those victims finally do find and embrace their righteous rage, then perhaps the wanton destruction of their once-admirable nation will be avenged. And the longtime tormentors of America That Was—Vichy GOPe or Demonrat alike—will have justice visited upon them for what they’ve done at long, long last.

Whatever course events may take, whichever side of the national divide you might stand on, profound tragedy is indeed at hand. Perhaps the biggest tragedy of them all, though, is that it’s come to this in the first damned place. It never should have, and didn’t really even have to. Yet somehow, here we all are anyway.

He’s DEAD, Jim

Hey, anybody remember back last summer when I likened the already disintegrating Zombie Joe to Max Headroom?

WELL.

I strongly advise y’all to watch the vid before dismissing this as some particularly out-there conspiracy theorizing. Cadaver Joe has clearly been digitally airbrushed in, so to speak. And it’s a piss-poor, amateurish job at that. Why, it’s as if the Shadow Government no longer cares in the least whether or not they’re fooling anybody. Kinda puts paid to that whole “they fear us” notion, I’d say. Oh, we might worry them somewhat every now and then. But deeply, seriously fear us? Nope. This ludicrously careless hack-job represents an in-your-face flipping of the bird at the very idea that The Power will ever face repercussions or consequences for its heinous crimes. It reveals quite a bit regarding some momentous matters, Numero Uno among them being our masters’ supreme confidence in their own untouchable impunity.

More, and plenty of it:

Many Twitter pundits are sounding the alarm about a video of Joe Biden briefly speaking to the press before boarding Marine One earlier today. Biden, who appeared flummoxed while briefly answering questions, appears to phase through a microphone when his hands, which are in focus, somehow jut in front of a seemingly out of focus microphone. Additionally, Biden’s hands appear much smaller than the microphone.

In the video, Biden declares he has no plans to visit the southern border amid the largest migrant crisis the country has seen in over a decade. Approximately 8 seconds into the clip, Biden’s in-focus hands somehow cross in front of a much larger microphone that is seemingly held by a member of the media. The microphone appears out of focus in the clip.

Several conservative commentators were flabbergasted by the video, suggesting that it does not seem to physically make sense, unless the microphone was digitally altered to be included in the scene, or Biden was digitally altered to be included in the scene.

As Renegade Dave says, we are now expected to accept rule by a Virtual pResident, while our hidden masters chortle from backstage at our sheeplike docility. Any Real American still clinging to the forlorn hope that elections are of any use whatsoever is nothing but a goddamned fool. A healthy fear definitely does need to be re-instilled in our loathsome ProPol class without delay—a plainspoken and inflexible refresher course on what the long-forgotten term “public servants” really means—and even more so, in the veiled powers behind the show-throne. But America’s rigged elections, alas for us all, aren’t going to do it.

Middle finger update! Darleen backs me up.

So what we have here is either Clown media colluding with Biden’s handlers to create an event where FICUS appears to be a normal, functioning President who can appear in front of the press without some secret service agent throwing himself in front of an unscripted question or…

We have a Clown Media who passes on White House green-screen productions and is laughing at everyone who spots the clumsiness of the editing. This is their big middle finger at the hoi polloi who dare might question who is actually in charge now.

Precious, don’t you think?

Ain’t it just. Maybe getting their asses kicked up between their shoulder blades, in whatever way you’d like to interpret that, would help bring them all back to reality.

Blowhard, bloviating

Looks like we’re well and truly back to business as usual.

McConnell warns of GOP retribution if Democrats eliminate filibuster

OOOOOH, GOPe retribution!!! Bet Yertle McTurtle left his esteemed colleagues across the aisle Swamp rat co-conspirators shaking in their boots with that one!

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) again warned Democrats on Tuesday that eliminating the legislative filibuster would “break the Senate” and turn the chamber into a “100-car pileup” where chaos reigns.

Democrats are under increasing pressure from progressives to set aside the filibuster for issues of exceptional importance, such as voting rights legislation that would counter the wave of voting restrictions being passed by Republicans at the state level.

So I can assume there’s no need for me to mention that the above is coming from a shitlib outlet, right?

The filibuster, which makes most legislation in the Senate subject to a 60-vote threshold, is meant to protect the interests of the minority. But it has increasingly led to deadlock and turned the Senate into a legislative graveyard for bills passed by the House.

In other words, pretty much as it was originally intended to function, then. Hold on though, folks, we’re getting to the really funny part now.

McConnell warned on the Senate floor Tuesday that if Democrats eliminate the filibuster and Republicans take back the majority, “we wouldn’t just erase every liberal change that hurt the country — we’d strengthen America with all kinds of conservative policies with zero, zero input from the other side.”

Umm, s’cuse me for asking, Your Fraudulence, Sir, but if you believe those liberal changes are hurting the country—which, of course they are—would you very much mind explaining exactly why you didn’t erase them back when you had a Senate majority, you treacherous, double-dealing shitweasel? After that, perhaps you could tell us how it is that you and your fellow Congresscrawlers don’t seem to consider “strengthening America” to be part of your goddamned job description. As for moving ahead with (dare I say it) the America First agenda without asking for “input from the other side,” that would be no more than operating exactly as your Demonrat bosses usually do, so what’s the problem there?

He promised that a Republican majority would immediately defund Planned Parenthood and sanctuary cities, push abortion restrictions, ramp up security on the southern border and more.

Riiiiiiight. Somebody please wake me when etc etc

“Nobody serving in this chamber can even begin, can even begin to imagine what a completely scorched-earth Senate would look like,” the Republican leader warned.

And that’s really too bad. In fact, the fairy tald that we have a true two-party system, rather than our dismal Uniparty reality, is one of the main reasons why we’re in this mess to begin with. As I already noted, the Demonrats have never hesitated to scorch as much earth as they thought they could get away with over the years—thanks to the solid assurance provided by the flaccid, flabby Vichy GOPe’s Opposition Theater subterfuge—that they had no cause for concern about ever being treated as roughly as they did their yappy little lapdogs like Mitch the Bitch. Ace ain’t having any of that rot.

Yes, Bitch, I’m sure the Democrats are plenty afraid of your impotent, insincere threats.

Unfortunately, the stupid half of the GOP base will believe this latest performance of Failure Theater, and agree that Bitch McConnell sure did do his very best to stop the ending of the filibuster, but that mean Charles Schumer just tricked him again.

Fuck you, Bitch.

Indeed.

Looks like I need to rethink my rejection of the term “the Stupid Party” as a lame excuse for why the Vichy GOPe always talks such a great fight before sagging to the canvas in a swoon before the first punch has been thrown. Clearly, there really IS a Stupid element here after all. Not the grubby politicians, but the mouthbreathing rank-and-file who are still happily taken in by the whole swindle, gassing on as they do about how things will improve once power is regained in 2022, 2024, 2078, or someday, via Voting Harderer!™ at the Enemy. When they aren’t braying about the hopeless futility of any stab at establishing a legitimate opposition-party alternative—a doomcast that neatly sidesteps the GOP’s own damned history, that is.

Meh. The Repugnican Party can’t auger in soon enough to suit me. I will assuredly NOT miss ’em when they’re gone.

Diversity is our greatest ONLY strength

Judging by the dismal record of the hapless US military over the last few decades, it sure ain’t much of one.

“Press Secretary Smites Fox Host That Dissed Diversity in U.S. Military,” a Department of Defense headline read Thursday.

“I want to be very clear right up front, that the diversity of our military is one of our greatest strengths,” Pentagon press secretary and former CNN commentator John Kirby said during a Thursday briefing. “I’ve seen it for myself in long months at sea and in the combat waged by our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. I’ve seen it up on Capitol Hill just this past month. And I see it every day here right at the Pentagon.”

Gee, Mr General Kirby sir, are you really sure you want to bring up the twenty-year-long inability to dispense with a few thousand dress-wearing, sub-literate, cave-dwelling goatherds in Afghanistan as evidence supporting the unchallengeable supremacy of Amerika’s shiny new one hundred percent PC military? Or the abject failure to subdue and pacify a band of like yodeling barbarians in Iraq? Or the ongoing ineffectual floundering in who even knows how many other ragged-ass Third World shitrapies across the globe?

Kirby was responding to comments made by Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who said during his March 9 show that Biden’s Department of Defense is more focused on woke adventurism than winning wars.

Carlson noted that the Department of Defense is creating body armor and flight suits for pregnant women, and is planning to change female hairstyle requirements. He also railed against the Chief of Naval Operations’ addition of the book “How To Be Antiracist,” by American University professor Ibram X. Kendi, to the Navy’s official reading list. Columbia University professor John McWhorter described Kendi’s arguments as “facile and subjective.”

The American military must have “the moral courage to include other perspectives and ideas into our decision making—perspectives that as the secretary himself noted Monday, are based on lived experience,” Kirby continued. “It’s that experience and the professionalism and commitment of our people that has always been our decisive advantage.”

Contra that word-salad of blibbering bafflegab, up until WW2 our true “decisive advantage” was an agglomeration of several real-world factors which are of much more practical combat utility than your specious “moral courage to include other perspectives” will ever be, with America’s astounding ability to ramp up and focus its peerless industrial might on production of wartime necessities including but by no means limited to weapons systems perhaps foremost among ’em.

Sure, experience, professionalism, and commitment are all wonderful things, no doubt. But they’ll never be a match for taking the boundless creative energy capitalism naturally fosters fully off the leash and letting it run wild to take on some perennial thorns in our sides, just to mix multitudinous metaphors here. To wit:

  • The challenges of R&D
  • Design and manufacture of materiel and equipment
  • Stale concepts relating to everything from small-unit tactics to battle rifles to APCs to BDUs &c

Time and time again, it’s been demonstrated that the surest, fastest way of untangling these and other knots is via the magic of capitalist ingenuity. Which, unsurprisingly, is NOT going to meet with the approval of Obamanaut chiggers like Kirby & pals. Their first and foremost priority is Diversity; fielding a combat-ready, well-trained and -equipped soldiery determined to attain victory at any cost just ain’t it with that, man. Not for these namby-pamby Puzzle Palace chuckleheads it ain’t.

One can practically hear the girlish, mortified shrieking from our New Model PC Army: Hey, what ARE you anyway—the kind of bass-ackwards troglodyte who still believes the primary raison d’etre of national armies is to kill people, break shit, and actually WIN WARS or something? After citing a likewise disgraceful verbal assault against Tucker for his impudence launched by the ladies of the USMC PR Dept, Herschel finds himself fed up enough to deal harshly with this patent horseshit.

So aside from the notion of diversity being a strength in, say, mathematics or engineering or computer science or whatever, where physics governs processes, which I don’t think can be proven (but this is a difference discussion), let’s pose a challenge problem to the Marines.

Prove that diversity is a strength in the US Marine Corps? Prove it. Demonstrate categorically that sameness, the one intended end of all of the training my own son went through to ensure common goals, common tactics, techniques and procedures, and common devotion to duty and orders, shouldn’t have really been the goal after all.

Prove categorically that the US Marine Corps, who won multiple world wars, who has served honorably in countless other engagements, and who is the most feared strike and expeditionary force on earth, wasn’t really as good as they could be and would have been better with more diversity.

It isn’t necessary to rehearse the experience of the Soviet Union in Afghanistan where they placed women in combat roles and found a disproportionate number of lower extremity injuries, or the experience of Marine Corps infantry officer’s course at Quantico where every woman thus far has had several hip injuries or pelvic fractures.

We all know the truth regardless of the focus group wording you parrot. Repeat after me: There is no way that a woman can do the same physical things a man does. God designed it that way.

How far the Marine Corps has fallen. Shameful, loathsome and contemptible. I think your future adversaries will think the same thing.

After repeatedly denying the once-peerless US armed forces victory after victory by effectively forcing them to fight with both hands tied behind their backs, I strongly suspect that future adversaries—all of whom, according to the PC nincompoops fully and firmly in charge of things now, are actually just friends we haven’t won over yet—already DO think it, Cap’n. In fact, if you listen closely you can probably hear those future adversaries laughing all the way over here.

Decadence and an unfounded assumption of military dominance creates a societal aimlessness that has brought far mightier empires than our own to their knees. Korea, Vietnam. Beirut. Somalia. The Balkans; Iraq, Afghanistan. US Navy crews incompetent to safely navigate their ships without colliding with other vessels. The ruinously expensive F35 debacle. The USMC, USN, and USAF wholly reliant on a fleet of decrepit fifty-year-old (plus) aircraft. The ever-lengthening list of US military futility establishes a practical guideline going forward, sad as it is. To wit: any conflict that can’t be waged and won using drones operated from the safe, comfy confines of an air-conditioned trailer somewhere in the Arizona desert is probably one the FUSA would do itself a tremendous favor by avoiding.

No wonder those valiant Woke Warriors jumped so eagerly at the chance to do battle with a lone civilian TeeWee personality. They all figured the WoT (War on Tucker™) might just be one they could actually win.

Update! I’m so old I can remember when US military personnel were expected to stay the hell out of politics.

A former military officer friend likes to tell the story of attending a conference during the Jimmy Carter years. At the conference, one of the generals made a negative remark about Jimmy Carter. That general was cashiered by the end of the evening. That was appropriate behavior for a studiously nonpartisan, constitutional military that represented and defended all Americans equally. The military’s current war against Tucker Carlson for insulting it points to the end of that era.

Americans need to understand that this is not their dads’ military. It’s not even the pre-2008 military. Barack Obama purged from the Pentagon anyone who was not with the new Democrat party. This Pentagon trend worsened under Trump, as people in the modern military resented the fact that he was not starting new wars and was drawing down troops. Trump’s peaceful ways may have saved lives and money, but they lessened opportunities for advancement within the military and shut down post-retirement sinecures in the defense industry.

With Biden’s ascension to the White House, the military has become an openly partisan, pro-Democrat, possibly anti-American institution dedicated entirely to turning itself into a social justice avatar for American society while maintaining endless small wars across the globe for the benefit of military officers. George Washington weeps.

Hey, that’s nothing new; I’m sure he’s been weeping for many years now. He’s certainly had plenty of reason to.

“Hypocrisy” is the LEAST of our problems with them

Physically, politically, and ideologically, location determines perception: where you stand determines what you see. If the biggest worry you see coming from the Left is their hypocrisy, you are either wilfully blind or cripplingly obtuse.

Calling today’s Leftists hypocrites requires endless contortions. It is simpler and scarier to see that the Left has rejected the standards of common citizenship. The Left is rejecting equal protection, equal treatment of the laws, and the rule of equal laws and opportunities for all. Its principle of justice is to help friends and relatives while harming enemies.

Double standards sown into law enforcement and culture, with the rulers defining the boundaries between the two standards, is the hallmark of oligarchy. Oligarchy is not just the rule of the rich, though that is part of it. Oligarchy is the rule of the few for their own interest. Oligarchic justice demands that unequals be treated unequally, as Aristotle writes, and it extends the idea of human inequality way beyond its legitimate scope. Friends of the oligarchy are treated one way because they are presumed better. Enemies or non-friends of the oligarchy are treated another way because they are presumed worse.

The Left is not hypocritical to its standards: help friends, harm enemies, unequal justice. So, the Left can practice what was hypocrisy openly and without shame. What, from the standpoint of common citizenship, amounts to hypocrisy is, for today’s Left, an edge of their attempt to transform the regime from a republic of equal citizenship to a woke oligarchy.

TSM Kevin agrees:

No, they aren’t hypocrites. They’re engaged in a war and there are two sets of rules. Yes, they’re revolutionaries. They’re running a revolution to immanentize the eschaton, and that has driven them insane, but even the insane know that blowback will eventually come. They must do everything in their (extensive) power to delay, deflect, diminish that blowback. The attempt to control the flow of information is critical component. (Can you imagine the outrage if, under the Trump administration, a similar letter had been issued pointing out the lies and falsehoods put forth by the “mainstream” media, asking why they were still being carried?)

First we’re “The Other.” Then we’re “Deplorables.” Finally, we’re DANGEROUS. Have you noticed how the Left is treating the events of January 6? It was called “1000 times worse than 9/11” and “it became clear that the United States is involved in a generational struggle to save our democracy.” Not our Republic, our Democracy. The “mostly peaceful” riot in the Capital has been called an “armed insurrection,” except nobody apparently was armed. We were told that the plan was to “capture and kill” members of Congress. Apparently not. We were told that a Capitol Hill police officer died after being “hit in the head with a fire extinguisher.” Apparently not. But there’s going to be a witch-hun… an independent investigation of the events of that day, events that by all evidence were made possible by the (in)action of certain members of the Ruling Party.

Anyone not of the Blue Church, especially gun owners, are dangerous reactionary maniacs waiting for the right time to rise up in counter-revolution! AND MANY OF THE LEFT BELIEVE IT. When you’re asked how you could believe the election was stolen, they’re asking you how crazy you are.

So how crazy, how dangerousare you?

They want us to be violent. They need us to be violent. They have to have an excuse to crack down and violate the Second Amendment with the blessings of the populace and the full cooperation of the police and the military. They actually think they can pull it off.

Keep fucking around and they’ll find out.

They should—in fact, they must, or else Team Liberty will wake up one fine morning to see that they HAVE pulled it off—completely, all liberty and individual rights stolen from us with nary a shot fired in defense of our precious inheritance. We’re already much too close to that state of affairs for comfort. Follow-up no-shitter from Peter at BRM:

I’ve written several articles pointing out that we can’t vote our way out of this mess. When the November 2020 elections were stolen – literally, through electoral fraud – the conservative side of US politics was (rightly) furious;  but they’re talking in terms of winning the next election, and undoing the damage. That’s not going to happen. The electoral legislation that the Democratic Party is right now ramming through Congress is designed to ensure that it alone wins elections from now on. Anyone else won’t get a look-in unless the powers that be decide to throw the other side a bone or two, to satisfy those they consider dangerous or obsessive.

This has led several commenters to talk (in so many words) in terms of civil war, armed resistance, and the like. I’ve said on more than one occasion that I’ve seen it happen too often in other parts of the world, and it doesn’t solve the problem. It merely compounds the misery for the survivors. However, I fear greatly that it’ll be inevitable sooner or later, because those who’ve seized power are adamant that they’ll never give it up.

Conservatives may believe that the restoration of our constitutional republic is of overriding importance (and, from a political perspective, I agree with them):  but, in terms of that same constitution, the progressive Left has committed high treason. They’ve subverted and undermined the US political process to steal power from the legitimately elected candidate. They know that if they ever lose power, those who take the reins from them will want criminal investigation and prosecution of all those involved in that electoral fraud – and one of the penalties for high treason is death. For the left to allow the right to win would be to commit at least political, if not a very physical suicide. This they will never do voluntarily.

So, when you talk politics in the USA today, bear in mind that it’s not just politics.  It’s a conflict for survival. If we all come to our senses and seek mutual accommodation, that can be mutual survival…but that’s no longer likely. The progressive left has gone all-in on seizing and maintaining control, at any cost.  They’re maintaining a puppet President in power, a man mentally incompetent to and incapable of exercising that office, because they can manipulate him to achieve their ends. They’ve shut off the capital city of our nation from its people, and are protecting themselves and their institutions behind barbed wire and military guards, to keep the people out and keep themselves in power. Those realities alone should illustrate that they’re not going to give up, and they’re not going to go away.

There Is No Voting Our Way Out Of This.

Our Founding Fathers had an answer for that. I fear we may have to follow their example.

Peter is correct in every particular; I do believe he’ll be right at home in Ye Olde CF Blogrolle, in which his acute insight and unflinching analysis just landed him a too-belated place. Which reminds me that I really need to do some rearranging and refreshing of the tired ol’ place.

Although I know he wasn’t being literal there, it feels somewhat imprecise for folks to say they “fear” following the Founders’ admirable example. It might be more apropos for one to say he “dreads” that we may have to etc, or “regrets” that we etc, or is “saddened” that etc. But fear? Not so much.

Oh, they might think they want us to be violent; it is imperative, then, that they be schooled in the awful things that can sometimes happen when a misguided or inadequately-considered wish comes true. What THEY want or need is no longer of any concern to us, undeserving of a moment’s attention. Having now openly declared themselves our enemy, our sole concern is our own needs, and how we might go about fulfilling them. The thing WE want THEM to be, the thing we NEED them to be, is mortally terrified of ever fucking with us again. Beyond that, not one damned thing, thanks.

The Left has committed treason all right, but it didn’t begin yesterday, nor even four years ago. They crossed that Rubicon long years ago, incrementally ratcheting up the depredation after being emboldened by the indolent, lackadaisical shrug of the Real American shoulder that was the only response to their heinous offenses. Which only goes to show that, although they may fear us to some extent, they don’t fear us nearly enough. Not yet. Our disgraceful lapse on that count was extremely dangerous—to freedom, to our national birthright, to our future collectively and individually—and must be seen to without further delay.

Overdue awakening

Welcome to the party, pal.

Can We Reform a FBI that Behaves Like a Gestapo?

Talk about a question that answers itself.

Short answer–I doubt it. But it is a legitimate question to raise because there are still some patriots serving within the ranks of the FBI who are beyond distraught over the gross politicization of their once proud, respected organization.

Name three. Take your time, I’ll wait.

Some of the men and women with 20 years in are simply counting days and hours until they can punch out. There is genuine, deep seated hatred for Christopher Wray and his coterie of lackeys eager to suckle on the teat of the Deep State.

I never imagined the day would come where I would be serious about comparing the FBI to the GESTAPO. But that day has come. We already have clear evidence of their criminal conduct in the cases of General Michael Flynn, Carter Page, George Papadopolous and Roger Stone. Now we learn that the FBI, without a court order, is seizing the phone records of private citizens and members of Congress without a court order. It is an organization out of control and must be reined-in.

It has been out of control since its very inception. It cannot, will not, be “reined in.” It’s a strictly binary choice: it can be either endured or dismantled. Sorry, but there is no Third Way here.

But that requires some legislators and judges with spine–a trait sorely lacking in Washington, DC at the moment.

Actually, it would require legislators and judges who weren’t fully-paid-up partners in the whole Deep State enterprise. As the USSC seems to be making a disgusting habit of confirming lately, those are mighty, mighty thin on the ground these days—avises most rara indeed.

When you have Republican Leaders like Liz Cheney endorsing this outrage and fueling the lie that Trump supporters are white supremacists that must be extirpated, how can you expect any Democrat to step forward and protest.

I leave you with one simple recommendation–if the FBI contacts you and asks to talk tell them “NO.” Refuse to cooperate in any way. The FBI is no longer your friend.

Always sage advice, but I must reiterate: the FBI NEVER WAS your “friend.” Since the days of J Edgar Hoover, it has been a wholly corrupt, massively overpowered and inadequately overseen agency. I’ve been saying so for many years now.

In fact, some of you greybeards may recall the shocked—SHOCKED!—reaction to the NRA’s fundraising letter accurately describing them as “jackbooted thugs,” among other things, in ’95:

A month after the April 19, 1995, bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City that killed 168 people and injured 680, the Wilmington Star-News published the following:

“The explosion brought out the best in many Americans. It brought out the worst traits in the NRA, especially its hotheaded hype.

“The most ill-timed screed was an NRA fund-raising letter slamming federal agents as “armed terrorists dressed in Ninja black…jack-booted thugs armed to the teeth who break down doors, open fire with automatic weapons and kill law-abiding citizens.”

Can anyone please tell me just what part of all that ISN’T true? Just asking for a friend.

Anyways, so high was the general dudgeon in the wake of that infamous NRA mail-out that Preznit George HW Bush himself felt compelled to very publicly denounce the NRA, resigning his lifetime membership to demonstrate horror most abject at the abominable “slur.” But I felt then, and still do, that the NRA mailing, if arguably ill-advised or impolitely expressed, did nothing more than restate self-evident realities with which too many Americans were already unpleasantly familiar. However uncomfortable they might be, however deep our reluctance to confront them, facts is still facts. By avoiding or—even worse, FAR worse—denying harsh truths, we grant a dangerous authority to falsehood and diminish ourselves in the bargain. No good can ever come from it.

“What steamed Mr. Bush was NRA President Tom Washington’s calling the 1993 Waco, Texas, raid an example of “black-suited, masked, massively armed mobs of screaming, swearing agents invading homes of innocents.”

And then incinerating the lot of them, to the last man, woman, and child. YMMV, but as far as I’m concerned jackbooted thuggery just doesn’t come a whole lot more thuggish than that. But Waco is hardly the only demonstration of the FBI’s soulless, wholly un-American corporate character in action. I’ve mentioned here before my long, deeply disturbing conversation with poor Randy Weaver at the Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot years ago. For any of you youngsters in need of a refresher on that:

Weaver bought an 8-acre piece of land in Ruby Ridge and began building his cabin. The family started learning how to live without electricity and would live on a more survival basis.

The children were all homeschooled, and soon the family moved to their cabin.

The Weaver’s neighbor, Terry Kinnison, and the family got into a $3,000 land dispute, which Kinnison lost and was to pay an extra $2,100 in damages and court costs.

He was the one who informed the FBI that Weaver had threatened to kill the President, the Pope, and the governor of Idaho.

In 1985, Weaver and his wife were interviewed by the FBI about belonging to the Aryan Nations, a white supremacist religious organization.

Weaver had previously attended some rallies of the Aryan Nations, which led the FBI to believe he attended the Aryan Nations World Congresses and the Aryan Nations Church.

The FBI then began probing further into the family and their whereabouts, to ultimately survey the cabin and prepare for a standoff.

On August 21, 1992, U.S. Marshals were sent to the cabin and were under strict orders to avoid all contact with the Weaver family. But the marshals were detected by the Weaver family dog, and the barking attracted their attention.

Weaver’s son, Samuel, and a family friend named Kevin Harris, both took guns and went out to see what the issue was.

The marshals began retreating, but eventually took defensive positions behind the trees. In later reports, the question of who fired first is still disputed, as Harris and Weaver said that the marshals fired first without identifying themselves.

The standoff began, and the family and the marshals exchanged crossfire. The Weaver dog and 14-year-old Sam were fatally shot, and a federal agent named Bill Degan was also shot dead.

Incredibly, the story gets even more appalling from there, after the FBI’s over-ballyhooed HRT was called in. Murderous (and, of course, highly decorated) FBI sniper Lon Horiuchi wound up being lauded in the more demonic quarters of government as a “hero” for “courageously” shooting Weaver’s unarmed wife Vicki in the head from a safe distance. Bonus government Hero™ points were awarded for cold-bloodedly executing the guiltless woman while she held her 10 month old daughter in her arms.

All this, mind, after FBI goons had spent many months harrassing Weaver, tirelessly insisting that he procure illegal sawed-off shotguns for them in hopes of entrapping him. After Weaver had steadfastly refused their demands again and again, they finally wore their chosen victim down enough that he arranged an introduction to an acquaintance who could possibly supply the goons with the contraband they dishonestly claimed, as a subterfuge, to be seeking.

Weaver was indicted and tried on the grossly-inflated litany of charges now typical of the Amerikan “justice” system, later being acquitted on all but a minor bail violation and failure to appear in court—a “crime” not intentionally committed but due to a scheduling mistake. Weaver went on to sue the evil US government, which sulfurous entity quietly settled out of court for $3.1 million—inadequate compensation for the persecution he suffered, in my opinion. His profligately unjust ordeal cost him several loved ones and transformed Weaver into the quite obviously tormented shell of a man I spoke with at Knob Creek.

The pain in Weaver’s eyes as he told me his story was all too evident. Trust me, it was an awful thing to see. My longtime loathing for the FBI in particular and FederalGovCo generally grew immeasurably that afternoon. Certainly, I’ve seen no justification for moderating or reconsidering that opinion since. The only positive thing I can come up with to say about all this: the FBI will always be a bellwether, a handy way of evaluating the state of the nation. As long as the agency still exists, the US government will be out of all compliance with its Constitution—a tyrannous affront to liberty, the rule of law, and the Founding principles it has betrayed.

Update! More details on the Ruby Ridge atrocity can be found here.

Make it so

I love it.

Good. There should be a fireteam in full battle-rattle on every DC streetcorner, loaded rifles kept at the low ready. Razor wire, Jersey barriers, and ten-foot security fencing as far as the eye can see. I want every federal orc in DC facing a Checkpoint Chickie every third block or so on his way to work, featuring full body-scans, thorough wandings and pat-downs, with random individuals also pulled aside for a public strip-search. There should be twice or thrice as many Cougars, Brads, and Dragoons to be seen prowling the streets as there are private vehicles, with all civilian vehicular traffic strictly prohibited within, say, half a mile of any USG facility.

No tourists, sightseers, looky-loos whatsoever allowed in Mordor OTP proper—in fact, no uncredentialed visitors of any kind, without having been most scrupulously vetted and investigated before permission is granted. Any person not wearing plainly-visible ID at all times authorizing their presence shall be considered an imminent threat, therefore subject to immediate arrest and indefinite detention without benefit of legal representation or communication with the outside world. Should a detainee be judged uncooperative or otherwise evince anything short of total submission to the authorities, he may be shot at the sole discretion of Imperial Defense Force personnel.

The scuttling insects whose insatiable craving for unchecked power drove them to the seat of federal tyranny should, at the very least, suffer non-trivial daily inconvenience and hassle as the price to be paid for their ill-gotten privilege. So let them pay it, then. With the disenfrachisement of fully half the population via the recent fraudulent election the Ruling Class, secure in its arrogance, audaciously removed the demos from democracy. The illegitimate junta ruling this land from Mordor OTP is, de facto, an Occupation Government. It by God ought to look like one, if only to prevent any misunderstandings. May every hapless Amerikan subject to the capricious cruelty of the Imperial Capital get a good, long look at exactly what kind of government they live under.

T’was ever thus

An oldie but evergreenie that just ain’t ever gonna grow old or stale. Unfortunate though that is.

It may be inferred again that the present movement for women’s rights will certainly prevail from the history of its only opponent: Northern conservatism. This is a party which never conserves anything. Its history has been that it demurs to each aggression of the progressive party, and aims to save its credit by a respectable amount of growling, but always acquiesces at last in the innovation. What was the resisted novelty of yesterday is today one of the accepted principles of conservatism; it is now conservative only in affecting to resist the next innovation, which will tomorrow be forced upon its timidity and will be succeeded by some third revolution; to be denounced and then adopted in its turn. American conservatism is merely the shadow that follows Radicalism as it moves forward towards perdition. It remains behind it, but never retards it, and always advances near its leader…Its impotency is not hard, indeed, to explain. It is worthless because it is the conservatism of expediency only, and not of sturdy principle. It intends to risk nothing serious for the sake of the truth, and has no idea of being guilty of the folly of martyrdom. It always when about to enter a protest very blandly informs the wild beast whose path it essays to stop, that its “bark is worse than its bite,” and that it only means to save its manners by enacting its decent role of resistance: The only practical purpose which it now serves in American politics is to give enough exercise to Radicalism to keep it “in wind,” and to prevent its becoming pursy and lazy, from having nothing to whip. No doubt, after a few years, when women’s suffrage shall have become an accomplished fact, conservatism will tacitly admit it into its creed, and thenceforward plume itself upon its wise firmness in opposing with similar weapons the extreme of baby suffrage; and when that too shall have been won, it will be heard declaring that the integrity of the American Constitution requires at least the refusal of suffrage to asses. There it will assume, with great dignity, its final position.

Bold mine. Any resemblance to the fraudulent, gassy posturing of present-day Housebroken Conservatives, Vichy GOPers, NeverTrump Pétainistas, and other members of the Kabuki Opposition Collective is wholly infuriating; the above was penned in 1897 (!), but could just as easily have been written day before yesterday. Mark 14.7’s famous admonition regarding the poor also applies to double-dealing American professional politicians: these ye shall always have with you. Despite their grotesquely inflated estimation of their own indispensability; their insight; and the selfless generosity of their contribution to society, what they actually are is an affliction, a foul curse under which all are emburdened, impoverished, and immiserated.

Ready for “pResident” Kumala?

Because ready or not, we’ve got her.

There have been a lot of questions about Joe Biden’s cognitive condition, him putting off doing any one on one presser with the media and him not doing the traditional address to the joint session of Congress that he himself said he would be doing this month.

Then came the reports that some Democrats didn’t want him to have the sole control of the nuclear codes.

On top of all that, people are now noticing the Kamala Harris is being asked to do things that would normally be the responsibility of Biden, such as talking on the phone with and meeting with foreign leaders.

Politico framed it as Biden trying to help her catch up in an area she doesn’t have a lot of experience in and wants to concentrate on as a specialty.

So Harris was involved in Biden’s meeting with the Canadians, Biden’s first bilateral meeting, something Biden himself didn’t get to do, according to Politico. Harris also called the director-general of the World Health Organization to talk about the Wuhan coronavirus response and she’s held solo calls with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and French President Emmanuel Macron.

But some folks, like Sean Hannity, are looking at it more as helping Harris take over such responsibilities.

As deeply cynical an old rapscallion as I’ve come to be in recent years, even I’m on record as having figured they’d keep Cadaver Joe propped up until March or April—if only for the sake of keeping up appearances—before spiking his morning reanimator injection with cyanide and subsequently installing Willie’s Li’l Sidepiece on the throne of the Forever Junta. Gropey must be in even worse shape than was previously suspected, I guess. The shambolically-delicious Texas collapse suffered by Seatwarmer Joe ain’t something even the most mulishly delusional shitlib would be brazen enough to call confidence-inspiring. Not with a straight face, anyway.

Yeesh. It’s not even arguable at this point that the Vegetable In Thief remains competent enough to organize a circle-jerk in a Tijuana whorehouse, assuming that he ever had been. Bonchie nutshells it:

There’s a reason his wife has to do joint interviews with him at an unheard-of rate. There’s a reason he wasn’t able to get down to Texas until the disaster was well over. There’s also a reason why a man who is ostensibly president hasn’t done a single press conference since taking office. Joe Biden does not appear to be well, and because of that, he isn’t showing an ability to execute even the nominal duties of his office. That’s become so painfully obvious that it’s not really funny anymore. It’s actually scary.

Scary? Naaaah, I think it’s hilarious. The genuinely scary thing is pondering the lengths to which the guys with their arms up the back of Faux Jaux’s shirt making his mouth move seem willing to go in order to keep this faltering Democracy Theater Productions™ shitshow staggering along…and what they have planned for their captive audience when the curtain finally drops, the actors trot offstage to huddle in their secure green-room cloisters, and the house lights come back up. One thing’s for sure: the cleanup crew is going to have their work cut out for them knocking the theater back into presentable shape again the morning after, because the venerable old place has been well and truly TRASHED.

Jeez O Pete, what the hell is WITH these degenerates, anyway?

EXCLUSIVE: Hunter Biden was living with his brother Beau’s widow Hallie while sending raunchy texts and FaceTiming in the shower with her married SISTER as they declared their love and she called him her ‘prince’

Hunter Biden had a controversial affair with his brother Beau’s grieving widow Hallie, while exchanging raunchy texts, ‘partying’, and even renting a house with her sister, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.

Hallie Biden’s older sister, Elizabeth Secundy, who was recently separated from her husband of 15 years, referred to Hunter as her ‘prince’ and told him she loved him, in a series of text messages dating back to 2016.

The pair’s relationship was revealed in files and emails recovered from Hunter’s laptop – the contents of which became public last year after it was abandoned at a Delaware computer shop.

While Hunter has promised to reveal details of his personal life and struggles with alcohol and drugs in his upcoming memoir, Beautiful Things, it is unclear whether Hunter has included details of his relationship with Secundy.

The embattled father-of-five, now 51, split with his first wife Kathleen in 2015. When his brother Beau died of brain cancer that year, he became close to his grieving sister-in-law.

He and Hallie became a couple in 2016, according to an interview Hunter gave to the New Yorker two years ago.

According to Ace, that’s revealed to be a damnable lie a few paragraphs on down, but as this article was even more disgusting than the one I complained about below I didn’t finish it either. Regardless, in light of their amorality; their shameless self-indulgence; and a complete inability to rein in their warped and self-destructive sexual gluttony, it’s all too apparent that there’s something profoundly haywire in America’s professional-politician class. With few exceptions, these irredeemable rotters are without question the lowest-order scoundrels in all existence. No decent, sensible person would trust them to be left alone with the family dog for five minutes.

Yet they’re running the goddamned country. Even so, as disgusting as these people are, it comes as no big surprise. Perhaps ubiquity has reduced this stuff to mere routine, stripping Ruling Class japery of its ability to shock. None but an American ProPol or his witless, pampered spawn could be so predictable, so insipid, so flavorless and banal as to be capable of making sin, sleaze, and sexual transgression seem uninteresting.

This next one, on the other hand, I absolutely LOVE.

SWABBED: Chinese Government Anally Swabs U.S. Diplomats, Biden’s State Department Begs Them To Stop

The Chinese government forcibly anally swabbed U.S. diplomatic officials as part of the Chinese Communist Party’s new Covid testing protocols “in error,” prompting Joe Biden’s U.S. State Department to  beg China to stop violating the “dignity” of Biden officials.
VICE and the Washington Post were among the first outlets to report the story, in which China originally promised to stop anally swabbing State Department officials after complaints from the Biden administration, but has now reversed course and denied forcibly applying the test in the first place.

“The State Department never agreed to this kind of testing and protested directly to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs when we learned that some staff were subject to it,” a spokesperson from Biden’s State Department reported to VICE on Wednesday.

In the Vice story, an Aussie visiting in China who was subjected to the (literal) rumpswab described it as feeling “like having diarrhea.” But if this video of Chinese testees duckwalking gingerly, all hunched over and in obvious pain, right after having this new, improved Anal Intruder™ FauxVid19 test inflicted on ’em is any indication, it feels a whole heck of a lot worse than just that.

Hell yeah, all Bai-Ding junta officials and appointees should be forced to get ’em, I say. On the regular. Six days a week, and twice on Sundays.

Taken together, this all counts as proof positive that both our domestic masters and the ChiComs who own them alike are all just laughing themselves sick at this point, in incredulous amazement at the degree of abuse the American serf class will passively submit to. After “temporary” lockdowns; mask mandates; the ruination of entire industries; travel restrictions; the closing of churches; curfews; &c &c &c, they’re probably stumped for ideas on what outrage might be tried on us next.

Below the fold, an actual photo of one of these butt-buster “testing” swabs, which is no way no how safe for work. Or for children. Or the elderly. Or the faint of heart. Probably best not to click on the thing at all, actually. Seriously, don’t do it. Really, now.

Okay then, but don’t say I didn’t warn ya.

A case of murder

Defending the indefensible.

All told, seven people died in connection with the U.S. Capitol riot on Jan. 6. But only Ashli Babbitt’s death was directly caused by violence that day. She was a rioter killed by a Capitol Police officer, who fired the only shot by any person during the 4½-hour siege. Yet the story of who he is and why he opened fire remains shrouded in mystery.

The Deep State looks after its own.

More than six weeks after Babbitt succumbed to a single gunshot wound to the upper chest, authorities are keeping secret the identity of the officer who fired the fatal round. They won’t release his name, and the major news media aren’t clamoring for it, in stark contrast to other high-profile police shootings of unarmed civilians.

Baffling, that.

Drawing on interviews with informed sources and available documents, RealClearInvestigations has put together a portrait of the actual shooter and the shooting, which some describe as completely justified and others call murder.

The officer who opened fire on Babbitt holds the rank of lieutenant and is a longtime veteran of the force who worked protective detail in the Speaker’s Lobby, a highly restricted area behind the House chamber, sources say. An African-American, he was put on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation led by the Metropolitan Police of the District of Columbia, which shares jurisdiction with the Capitol Police. The Justice Department is also involved in the inquiry.

The Wall Street Journal reported earlier this month that the officer has been interviewed and cleared of criminal wrongdoing by a preliminary investigation, suggesting that the police killing may soon be ruled justifiable homicide. But D.C. Police spokeswoman Alaina Gertz told RCI, “This case remains under active investigation.”

The well-placed sources told RCI the plainclothes officer has gone into hiding out of fear for his safety.

Aww, that’s a shame.

They said he worries about reports that some of those arrested in the riots have declared “open (hunting) season” on whoever killed Babbitt, now a martyr in their cause. Twitter accounts have been created in her name, including “We Are Ashli Babbitt” and “Justice For Ashli Babbitt.” “An unarmed American patriot was murdered in cold blood! We need to know who murdered #AshliBabbitt!” proclaimed one recent post.

Meanwhile, numerous lawmakers from both parties have hailed the lieutenant as a hero who saved lives that fateful day.

I’d expect no less from the cringing, despicable cowards.

Most of the circumstances that led to his actions are still unclear. But video footage filmed by rioters shows the lieutenant, after taking up a defensive position in a doorway, carefully aiming and shooting Babbitt as she tries to climb through a smashed window beside a barricaded double door leading to the Speaker’s Lobby, part of a pro-Trump mob of protesters. Babbitt, 35, had no weapon. She died later at a hospital. The decorated Air Force veteran, who had traveled from San Diego, was wearing a Trump flag as a cape when she was shot.

Dressed in a dark suit and white shirt with cufflinks, along with a beaded bracelet on his right shooting hand, the Capitol Police officer fired at her from the side of the barricade, where he had been hidden from view in a doorway. At least from what can be seen and heard from the video, he appears to issue no commands to stop nor any verbal warning that he would shoot.

“That was an execution,” said Jack Feeley, a fellow Air Force vet and friend of Babbitt, adding that it “breaks my heart to know millions of people watched my friend be executed on live television.”

A former White House national security aide and Pentagon official agreed the officer appeared trigger happy. “It was an assassination. I’ve never seen a more clear case in all my years. I’ve seen EJKs that were cleaner than that,” said the former official, referring to an extrajudicial killing, or state-sponsored killing outside the formal legal system of a country. “He stepped into it [the shot] for [expletive deleted] sake.”

But appearances are deceiving, countered the lawyer whom the Capitol officer has hired to defend himself. In an RCI interview, Washington attorney Mark Schamel said his client did, in fact, warn Babbitt and other rioters to keep back — and that he did so firmly and repeatedly.

“It’s a false narrative that he issued no verbal commands or warnings,” Schamel said. “He was screaming, ‘Stay back! Stay back! Don’t come in here!’” He added that witness statements back him up. Schamel explained the lieutenant’s commands were not picked up on the video because it was recorded on the other side of the doors where dozens of rioters were shouting and banging against the doors and drowning out his words. And he said his client could not be seen yelling out the instructions because his mouth was covered by a mask he wore as part of COVID-19 protections.

It’s not clear if the officer in fact warned the marauders breaching the barricade that he would shoot if they did not heed his commands. However, his service weapon — a .40-caliber Glock semiautomatic handgun — was visibly drawn. Some of the rioters spotted it through the lobby windows and shouted: “There’s a gun!” followed by, “He’s got a gun!”

Schamel said his client, who received his training primarily at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers in Glynco, Ga., was acting to protect himself and lawmakers from harm.

“He was acting within his training,” he said. “Lethal force is appropriate if the situation puts you or others in fear of imminent bodily harm.”

Hm. Good to know. So, should an old white male like myself shoot and kill a black intruder breaking into his home late at night, I can expect to be likewise hailed as a “hero” by the authorities in my home state—a state, mind you, which does NOT have a “castle doctrine” law in effect? A state which, on the contrary, mandates that a hypothetical victim of violent criminal assault must jump through quite a few flaming legal hoops before being allowed to defend his very life against his assailant(s) without being subject to judicial persecution as a “murderer” for the rest of his life?

No need to answer; we all already know well enough that lethal force is “appropriate” only if “the situation” puts panicked, trigger-happy LEOs at risk of wetting themselves, and only if the victims are Trump supporting dissidents.

He pointed out that the officer was the potential last line of defense between the rioters and dozens of members of Congress and staffers, who he said had yet to be escorted out of the House chamber by security at the time. (House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other VIPs had already been evacuated.)

The Speaker’s Lobby is a hallway that runs behind the chamber and leads to exits on both ends, so the doors where the mob had gathered, which were manned by the lieutenant, served as a strategic chokepoint. Before they arrived, the officer had piled tables, chairs and other furniture from the hallway in front of the doors to create a barricade.

“He stopped them from coming through to the hallway and into the chamber,” Schamel said. “He stopped a potential massacre.”

Gee, hyperbolize much, you ambulance-chasing drama queen?

Pantloads more of such overwrought, self-serving twaddle in the linked article, which frankly I found so repulsive I threw up my hands before I’d gagged my way through much more than half of the thing. Even so, a few things are infuriatingly clear:

  • That Ashli Babbitt was indeed needlessly murdered by a Deep State thug in monstrously disproportionate response to an act of minor criminal trespass which merited nothing more severe than a citation and a small fine
  • That her grieving loved ones will be denied the cold comfort of ever seeing justice done for her barbarous execution
  • That the dishonest slander of both Babbitt personally as a “deadly threat” and the January 6th protest in general as a “riot,” a “massacre,” an “insurrection” undertaken by “white supremacists” and/or “domestic terrorists” will continue, for as long as TPTB find it useful to do so
  • That there will never be any meaningful consequences suffered by the perpetrators of an entire summer’s worth of actually dangerous, deadly, and destructive rioting, all of which was openly and unashamedly endorsed at the time by the self-same ProPol filthbags now striking indignant poses and spluttering in horror over January 6th

As I said: infuriating. But if Ashli’s scurrilous killer is forced to remain in hiding, to live in abject terror of being identified or exposed until the frabjous day he drops dead—hey, I’m good with it, myself. It ain’t much, and is by no stretch a satisfying outcome. But if it’s all we can get, at least for now…well, I’ll take it, in hopes of something better to come along someday.

Update! Much, much more from Gateway Pundit, including photos that reveal the murder to be a blithering incompetent—finger in the trigger well, muzzle-sweeping everybody around him, etc—as well as self-contradictory statements showing him to be an unusually inept liar. If this oaf is typical of Mordor OTP law enforcement, then Mordor OTP is in seriously dire straits.

Deep State gonna Deep State

I think it’s sooooo cute how some people still want to believe that, even after all we’ve seen, the System can be relied on to correct the malfeasance and corruption the System itself birthed and nurtured.

‘Inexplicable’: Alito and Thomas Dissent as Supreme Court Strikes Down Pennsylvania Election Lawsuit

Inexplicable? Hardly. The explanation is right there in our faces, for all to see. Refusal to see a thing does NOT mean the thing does not exist.

On Monday, the Supreme Court threw out several of the remaining challenges to the 2020 presidential election as moot, considering that former President Donald Trump conceded to Joe Biden, who has now become president. Yet Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas dissented, arguing that the Supreme Court should have taken the opportunity to clarify election law, especially in the case of Pennsylvania.

“The Constitution gives to each state legislature authority to determine the ‘Manner’ of federal elections,” Thomas wrote. “Yet both before and after the 2020 election, nonlegislative officials in various States took it upon themselves to set the rules instead. As a result, we received an unusually high number of petitions and emergency applications contesting those changes.”

Thomas’ dissent is well-reasoned and -written, as is his usual wont, and so is Alito’s. The mistake made by both these worthy Justices is that their arguments proceed from an assumption that the Constitutional Republic known as the United States of America still exists. That assumption is unfounded; said much-mourned Republic most assuredly does not, and the flyblown traveshamockery that displaced it bears no recognizable likeness to what it so rudely elbowed aside. The shifting and pathetic rationalization puked up by the USSC’s majority of shifty dissemblers for cavalierly sidestepping their sworn duty gives the game away:

What the Supreme Court codified yesterday, and what it started with the Texas rejection, is that election laws and procedures cannot be challenged beyond a state court, at any time, regardless of how badly those states shred the United States Constitution, and regardless of the major consequences to the other 49 states as a result. They don’t ever say that per se, but the results of what those two rulings have done are just that. Period.

Those trying to challenge Pennsylvania’s obviously corrupt and rigged election system have been told that they cannot challenge the laws ahead of the election, because there is not yet a victim. They’ve been told that fellow Americans impacted by Pennsylvania’s corrupt system cannot challenge, because of standing. Now they’ve been told that they cannot challenge after the election, because it’s after the election – and therefore moot.

This kind of infantile and absurd logic just defies belief and takes one’s breath away. And not just mine. I think it’s clear that Justice Clarence Thomas is even more mystified than am I, and he was livid.  He was also, as he always is, right on the money in his analysis.

“One wonders what this Court waits for,” understates Thomas in his dissent, adding “we failed to settle this dispute before the election, and thus provide clear rules. Now we again fail to provide clear rules for future elections. The decision to leave election law hidden beneath a shroud of doubt is baffling. By doing nothing, we invite further confusion and erosion of voter confidence. Our fellow citizens deserve better and expect more of us.”

“Baffling?” My deep, sincere, and abiding respect for you notwithstanding, sir, I must repeat: hardly. It is dismaying. It is disgusting. It is despicable, and it is damning. At this point, though, “baffling” it is NOT, sad as it is to have to say it.

Here t’is; the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. The 2020 election was stolen. We know it; the thieving scoundrels know it; the Vichy GOPe swine all know it. Everybody knows it, and the US Supreme Court knows it too. As not only a crucial subdivision of the Deep State but one of its most effective guardians also, the Court intends to see to it that the fraud stands, and that further challenges to the ragged legitimacy of the current Occupation Government will be summarily and contemptuously rebuffed using any excuse that can be manufactured. Ace puts it cleanly and clearly.

I can explain it: the “Shadow conspiracy” article in Time Magazine explained it.

The Shadow Conspiracy article in Time was written to alert the left that these changes were absolutely critical to fake-winning the election, and that therefore, anyone on the left and anyone supporting the permanent corrupt Deep State must fight with all their might to keep these illegal rules in place.

By the way, they keep saying that this wouldn’t effect the results of the election because they have repeatedly sifted the number of challenges down to the point where we’re talking about just a couple of thousand ballots.

They’ve figured out other ways to ignore the challenges to all the other ballots.

It’s like breaking down a cargo into a hundred pieces and saying of each tiny piece, “No, this won’t meaningfully affect the ship’s seaworthiness. No this one also won’t meaningfully affect the ship’s seaworthiness. No this one also won’t appreciably affect the ship’s seaworthiness…”

Yeah but take them all together and the ship sinks.

And so it has. Once again, Real Americans are treated to the unlovely spectacle of the Master class openly laughing in the faces of the lowly Serf class, taunting and jeering in celebration of a victory the Masters arrogantly presume to be permanent and unassailable. May Hubris of such unprecedented extravagance as this provoke a rebuke from Nemesis of equal magnitude. Never forget that History has a dissenting opinion of its own to offer, a judgment far more sweeping and powerful than any piffling petarade the pompous gasbags of the USSC can muster. The last word I’ll leave to Vox:

So much for the importance of electing Republicans to appoint Supreme Court justices….

Yup. Oh, and then there’s this:

AreCourtsLegitimate.jpeg

Yup again. And now we know that, too. So what, if anything, shall we do about all this?

A real no-shitter

BCE uncovers the devil lurking in the details about Peelousi’s desk-ridin’ General Bigtalk.

That’s the H.M.N.I.C now.. (Head Motherfuckin’ Nigger In Charge) of ‘investigating’ the January 6th Shenanigans.
There has never been a more self-loathing Black Man in uniform.
Uncle Tom indeed
He was the one who was in charge of the fucked uppedness of the Katrina Response.
He was the one who didn’t do shit during the Global War on Terror
He’s the one who’s consistently been a partisan hack and anti-gun and outright anti-American across the board.
Fucker only has jump wings and a fucking EIB (Expert Infantry Badge) and as a General, I’d even call that into question as I can’t see a grader on an EIB course telling a General or any other occisfer under the rank of Major that he failed out.
I fucking have the EIB for fucks sakes.

All fine and well, Expat. But why don’t you just go ahead and tell us all what you really think about this Paper(cut) Warrior? Please feel free to not mince any words.

This partisan fuck?
Fuck him. Piece of shit rear echelon motherfucker… REMF for short.
Fucker was responsible for anti-constitutional calls for gun confiscation in New Orleans during Katrina, and never paid the price, which should have been castration, followed by public hanging

But

Unfortunately, we don’t hang obsolete non-functional farm equipment

Pity That.

Heh. Okay, duly noted. And endorsed. I look forward to the day this affirmative-action promotee unleashes a couple-three regiments from the US Army’s renowned 113th Transgender Division. Here’s a photo of a few of these dreaded war-pigs marching off to war:

My GOD, but this is one fucked-up country.

Behind the wire

It’s an occupation government. It damned well ought to look like one.

We’ve been reporting on the troubling question of what are the National Guard still doing in Washington, D.C. at this point and why are there reports that they intend to keep them through the fall?

So far there’s been no explanation given as to why that’s happening and what the rationale is, what the “threats” are supposed to be. No one is being told, including the governors whose units were being used or Congressional Republicans. Rep. Lisa McClain, who is on the House Armed Services Committee, is demanding answers from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on the matter. It’s ridiculous that there’s so far been in excess of $480 million spent without any explanation to Congress as to why it is continuing.

But that’s not the only problematic security measure continuing in D.C. Remember that fencing around the Capitol? The Capitol Police are now asking that the 8 foot barbed wire fencing stay in place around the Capitol until September to help protect lawmakers “while authorities work to track down threats.”

Guess what those “threats” are. Go on, guess. I double-dog dare ya.

Come come, now, Congressman, surely that’s just a bit much, don’tchathink? I mean, Gen Honoré is an accomplished military man, an entirely honorable member of our great nation’s, uhhh…that is, a decorated warrior who…uhhh…I mean to say that, well…

Well.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) tweeted out a video which features points from Tucker Carlson’s blistering exposé on Wednesday showing just how unhinged the good General is. The video also includes clips from Gen. Honoré’s interview on Roland Martin Unfiltered laying out what his views and goals for this review will entail.

Gen. Honoré is cut from the same cloth as Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin: you are proven racist because you have a certain skin color and hold certain political beliefs, and our job is to root you out and eliminate you from the military and/or law enforcement, as well as polite society.

What he said to Roland Martin pretty much confirms this:

“So they allowed their buddies in yesterday. They had help inside the force, and you can assume that 30 percent of that force support the guy in the White House, that’s just demographics.”

“As hard as we try as an institution in the military, among us are people who think the election was stolen.”

Ahhh… so this is the problem. Not aligning with the preferred narrative and groupthink makes you dangerous. How Orwellian of you, good General.

But wait, there’s more.

“What they really are P.O.’d about, they are worried that they will lose their white power. They don’t like the browning of America. It took the sheet off a bunch of people proclaiming themselves to be conservative. And what they are is racists.”

Aww, who isn’t? Amongst us blue-eyed devils, that is.

So let’s recap. Piglousi is deploying a RAYCISS!™ slimeball from the upper reaches of the Uruk-hai officer corps to help the Occupation Government hunt down its enemies. Good to know, I suppose. But back to those heightened security measures protecting Mordor OTP from We the People for a sec.

Meanwhile, it’s fascinating this newfound love that Democrats seem to have for walls. I thought walls don’t protect anything according to their arguments and we didn’t need a wall at the border to protect the country? Yet, they have no problem with a wall to protect themselves.

In the United States of America, seeing the halls of the people walled off is a particularly troubling look, making one think of banana republics and dictators. Surely doesn’t look like they think they have the confidence of the voters with this. Imagine for the moment if President Donald Trump had done this, what they would have said and how they would have gone off with how dictatorial it was.

Missing the point yet again, I see. Imagining the Enemy reaction “if Trump had wank-wank-wank” is pointless whataboutism, carrying no more force than a child whining about having to eat his broccoli. Anybody who continues doing it should be sent straight to bed without dessert. Cry all you want to, kid. Daddy don’t care.

Nor do our masters care a whit about “the confidence of the voters.” There is one and only one takeaway from this that really matters: They have the power now, and they intend to keep it. Whatever they must do to ensure that, they will do. The thing that does matter comes in the form of a question: What, if anything, are Real Americans willing to do to take it back from them? If your answer is “Vote harderer!” then may your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget you were ever our countrymen.

Are you beginning to see now why I actually love the idea of the Imperial City walling itself off; disallowing its subjects all access to it; and surrounding its scuttling, slithering denizens with armed stormtroopers goons to scare off the serfs? I hope it stays this way always—until the Citadel Of Democracy Tyranny is finally taken down. Get yourself a good, long look at stark reality. Consider it something of a nudge, or prompt. Let Terrible Ted take us on home.

Update! When half-literate slander against civilian leadership bleeds over into actual insubordination.

Since Monday, several more partisan and profane comments have come to light featuring Honoré blasting Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mis.) and other Republicans for objecting to the 2020 election results, blaming conservative Capitol Police for “allowing Trumpsters” to get into the Capitol, and savaging President Trump.

“That little peace of shit with his @Yale law degree should be run out of DC and Disbarred ASAP,” Lt. General Russel Honoré wrote of Hawley in a now deleted Twitter post on January 11.

Becker News unearthed several more tweets that point to the general’s extreme partisanship. On November 18, Honoré tweeted out a meme with an image of himself wearing a black mask on the left and President Trump looking gruff on the right. The tweet included a statement he apparently made last March beckoning the president to “stop the bullshit” and deploy the National Guard “to meet national testing needs.”

In another tweet, Honoré tweeted somewhat incoherently, “Covid19 the @WhiteHouse Shit Show. Wear ya Damn Mask. Stay ya Aaa Home.”

This hysterical buffoon is a real gem, ain’t he? He’s perfect for the role Pelosi has him playing, I’d say.
