Divided we stand

Unity? With THESE viscid pus-buckets? When Hell freezes.

Although Biden’s Wilmington speech was predictably semi-coherent, one point came through clearly enough. “Stop treating our opponents as our enemies,” he said. “They’re not our enemies. They’re Americans.”

That was rich, coming from a man who, on the rare occasions when he’d spoken up during the past couple of years, had parroted his party’s line that Trump voters are bigots, morons, and “ugly folks.” A man who’d taken part in the unprecedented, treasonous conspiracy to push the Russian-collusion lie and thereby unseat an elected president.

Biden wasn’t alone in pushing this forgive-and-forget line. On Facebook, my page filled up with memes like this one: “Don’t lose friendships today over two men who don’t even know your names. It’s OK to have different political views and still be OK with each other.”

That meme, and the others like it, were all posted by Trump supporters. But I had to respectfully dissent. These people, however pure their intentions, were calling for forgiveness without repentance. They were asking their fellow Trump voters to pretend that none of this ugliness had ever taken place—the years-long coup attempt, the rhetoric about “deplorables,” and finally, yes, the vote fraud.

It was asking Trump voters to believe if they only affirmed the idea that Biden had won, their longtime Democratic tormentors would shed socialism, corporations would drop globalism, the deep state would quit its partisan perfidy, and journalists would go back to being journalists.

As former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer tweeted on Saturday night: “Resist. Overturn. Boycott. Surveil. Leak. Impeach. And now they tell us it’s time to heal. Where were they for the last four years?”

As it happened, many on the Left—and to me it seemed like most, not just many—weren’t exactly extending the hand of friendship anyway.

Yes, it sounds pretty to say that people with different political views can “still be OK with each other.” Maybe that was true back when we all shared the same basic values. To watch the 1960 Kennedy-Nixon debate is to recognize that the actual ideological and policy differences between those two men were minuscule.

Today, no more. The people who put Biden in office are aspiring totalitarians and their unwitting, brainwashed tools. Never underestimate the deadly seriousness of aspiring totalitarians.

Indeed. As with their murderous jihadi allies of convenience, we should take them at their word, and treat them exactly as the deadly, implacable enemies they so truly are.

The only evidence of election fraud you’ll ever need

Is this right here:

BoardingUp.jpg

Enemedia and their Democrat-Socialist partners in crime are of course lying through their crooked teeth with all that “no evidence of fraud” folderol they’ve been peddling so aggressively, but the picture above tells the tale. Ballots are supposed to be CAST in secret; they must be COUNTED right out in the open, with plenty of witnesses from both sides closely watching to keep everybody honest, if an election is to be regarded as even remotely above-board. Bodily removing observers from one party, blocking their access in any way, and boarding over windows add up to one thing, and one thing only: somebody has something to hide.

And that is absolutely, positively IT. Finito, end of story, period fucking DOT. Everything else is just details.

Thrilla in Ma…Phila?

You gotta love this.

Joe Frazier voted this year in Pennsylvania.

Frazier is a former heavyweight boxing champion.

Joe Frazier has been dead since 2011.

He was registered to vote in New Jersey.

It’s like they’re barely even trying at this point.

FLASH!!! BREAKING NEWS!!! MAN BITES DOG!!! PIGS TAKE FLIGHT!!! STOP THE PRESSES!!!!

Hold onto your hats, people. Sit down, swallow whatever you might be drinking, and brace yourself for the most unexpected, unprecedented, and incredible event since the Great Flood.

Ready for it?

Here we go: Today, on some rando’s podcast blatherfest, JOE BIDEN ACTUALLY SAID SOMETHING THAT’S TRUE!!! Probably for the very first time in his entire worthless life!

Inadvertently, natch.

Was he misspeaking or just opening his mouth and removing the filter between his brain and mouth? Was it a Joe Bidenesque Freudian slip sniff?

Biden was holding a rare campaign event – via video – when he boastfully proclaimed that his campaign operates “the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.”

Worse? He was cribbing from notes.

CF FACT CHECK: The claim that Joe Biden said something that was not a bald-faced lie, whether on purpose or not, has been rated by our investigative staff as 100% percent ACCURATE.

Verily, the End Times are nigh.

Of coyotes, and lying dogs

Biden caught with his mouth moving yet again. And we all know what that means.

On Thursday night when Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden angrily accused President Trump of a “criminal” family separation policy that had “lost track” of more than 500 migrant children at the U.S.-Mexico border, he was repeating an inaccurate and misleading news report that had circulated earlier this week.

“What happened? Their kids were ripped from their arms and separated and now they cannot find over 500 sets of those parents and those kids are alone,” Biden said. “Nowhere to go, nowhere to go. It’s criminal.”

The former vice president was likely relying on a brief report from NPR about the latest development in a lawsuit between the ACLU and the Justice Department regarding the status of children who have still not been reunited with their parents after being brought across the border illegally.

The report claims that “the parents of 545 children still can’t be found,” but that’s not quite right. The NPR report omitted a statement issued by Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Chase Jennings explaining that in fact the vast majority of these parents have been found but have refused reunification with their children, which is why the children are still in DHS custody.

“In the current litigation, for example, out of the parents of 485 children whom Plaintiffs’ counsel has been able to contact, they’ve yet to identify a single family that wants their child reunited with them in their country of origin,” Jennings said.

Davidson delves further into some harsh border realities that the gormless ignoramii who assumed Trump believes that illegal-alien kids are being strapped to the backs of actual coyotes and riding them across the border are blissfully unaware of, which is all fine and well. But the bottom line is bluntly laid down in the article’s headline: “If You Don’t Know That ‘Coyotes’ Are Human Smugglers, Shut Up About The Border.” That could be said of so very many other topics these arrogant nitwits presume to lecture their intellectual betters about, though.

A brand new day, a brand new way

Y’know, you wonder sometimes why Trump continues to give any of these asswipes the time of day. And then he shows you.

Trump Releases Raw Video of ’60 Minutes’ Interview and It’s Everything You Thought It Would Be

Oh, it’s that, and much, much more.

Trump’s reasoning for the move has been that the media doesn’t represent him honestly, and he wanted to make sure the people could see the full footage and make their own judgments.

Watching back the video, it is obvious they made the right choice. Stahl came in loaded for bear and set up the interview by asking the President if he was “ready for some tough questions.” Trump responded with a shrug.

Trump:Just be fair
LS: But last time I remember you saying ‘bring it on. Bring it on’
Trump: No I’m not looking for that. I’m looking for fairness. That’s all.
LS:You’re going to get fairness. But you’re ok with tough questions?
Trump: You don’t ask Biden tough questions.

It didn’t get much better from there.

The hell you say; I think it gets LOTS better from there. A couple-three more good ‘uns over at RS, all of which you should read. Ace also has plenty of delicious examples of our no quarter, no holds barred POTUS giving shitlib propagandaist Stahl the full brass-knuckles-to-the-mouth treatment, including:

STAHL: Can you characterize your supporters?

TRUMP: Yeah, I think I can: people who love our country.

And:

This exchange between Trump and Lesley Stahl is insane. She repeatedly insists the Biden laptops can’t be verified, so reporters shouldn’t talk about it.

Trump asks her why it can’t be verified.

Her answer: Because it can’t be verified.

Oh, izzat so, bitch?

My name is Tony Bobulinski.

The facts set forth below are true and accurate; they are not any form of domestic or foreign disinformation. Any suggestion to the contrary is false and offensive.

I am the recipient of the email published seven days ago by the New York Post which showed a copy to Hunter Biden and Rob Walker. That email is genuine.

This afternoon I received a request from the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs and the Senate Committee on Finance requesting all documents relating to my business affairs with the Biden family as well as various foreign entities and individuals. I have extensive relevant records and communications and I intend to produce those items to both Committees in the immediate future.

That’s verification aplenty, without even tossing the FBI, the DoJ, and the DNI into the “verified” pot as well. Clearly, when the liar Stahl says “it can’t be verified,” what she really means is it WON’T be verified—not by her, not by CBS News, by any and every other Praetorian Media outlet. And that’s because the “news business” Gorgon isn’t actually in the business of reporting the news at all, and hasn’t been for a very long time.

The historic popularity and profitability of Tucker’s show raises a simple, yet important question: why have none of the major networks, including Fox, attempted to copy his success?

Wouldn’t the fabled “marketplace of ideas” dictate a certain convergence toward the topics and styles that draw the biggest audiences?

Perhaps the ad boycotts aimed at Tucker have scared off would-be copycats. But this simply raises the question of why companies would leave money on the table by refusing to advertise on television’s most popular cable news show. Something is off here, and it suggests that the media industry does not work according to a simple profit motive.

What if the true goal of a media conglomerate is not to produce a reliable and entertaining news service tailored to its audience, but rather to influence that audience on behalf of third parties? What if the purpose of a media company is not to be profitable for its own sake, but influential for the sake of others?

Business models aren’t always what they present themselves to be. Movie theaters make money not from ticket sales, but from concession stands. Airlines likewise need to sell tickets, but they make more profit from frequent flier rewards programs. Supermarkets are increasingly big data collectors for insurance companies.

This does not mean that profit is irrelevant to a media company. In Tucker’s case, his stratospheric ratings are a great tool of leverage, and without profit, a company must continually court new investors. But the point remains that for a serious media enterprise, profit is always secondary to influence.

Just as a social media company’s true product is its user data, the true product of a major media company is the flow of narratives that shape the perception of reality. Wielding influence over the public mind will always be more valuable than any profit that could be generated by optimizing the news to suit public tastes.

Major media companies are not about profits, but influence — there is no “marketplace of ideas” that functions in the way people might imagine. And this applies to any industry that has a profound effect on the narratives and beliefs that shape the public’s perception of reality, including movies and video games.

In our increasingly corrupt society, every institution is a scam, and there is often a vast disconnect between the generally understood purpose of an institution and its actual purpose.

Indeed. If that sorta reminds of you of the NeverTrumpTard GOPe too, well, it damned well ought to. But as I’ve said so many times already: the greatest service Trump has done, will do, or could EVER do for this country has been to rip the mask off these underhanded s’faccim and expose them for what they really are, in a way that none but the willfully obtuse, the witless, or the nefarious can deny any longer.

Great minds

In the current Donnybrook comments, I see that Barry said this:

The polls are rigged. They don’t remotely align with reality. They are rigged to create a cascade of Biden voters and to depress the Trump voters.

Elsewhere, I see that Ted Cruz said this:

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) on Friday warned Republicans the party could face a “bloodbath” in November if voters aren’t feeling optimistic about the economy and the direction of the pandemic.

Speaking on CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” Cruz said the presidential election is extremely “volatile” and that President Trump could still get reelected by a “big margin” if voters feel like the U.S. is recovering from the pandemic-induced economic shutdown.

But he warned the party could also face landslide losses similar to what happened in the midterms following the Watergate scandal and Richard Nixon’s resignation.

“I am worried. It’s volatile, it’s highly volatile … if people are going back to work, if they’re optimistic, if they’re positive about the future, we could see a fantastic election — the president getting reelected with a big margin, Republicans winning both Houses of Congress and I think that’s a real possibility,” Cruz said.

“But I also think if on Election Day people are angry and they’ve given up hope and they’re depressed, which is what [Speaker Nancy] Pelosi and [Senate Minority Leader Charles] Schumer want them to be, I think it could be a terrible election. I think we could lose the White House and both houses of Congress, that it could be a bloodbath of Watergate proportions.”

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has opened up a 9.7-point lead over Trump in the RealClearPolitics average of polls, his largest lead in months.

So the question here is this: is Barry really channeling Ted Cruz somehow?

Joking around aside, they’re both right. It’s doubtless true that the polls are indeed rigged, and purposely so. The fact that almost every one of them oversamples Democrat-Socialists by truly ludicrous margins alone makes it perfectly clear that they aren’t honest efforts at gauging public opinion; they’re attempts to obscure the truth, instead of revealing or clarifying it. They’re transparent manipulations magicked up from whole cloth to provide comfort and reinforcement to the Left, and to demoralize and suppress Real American voters. In short, they’re no more honest, reliable, or trustworthy than the “debate” shitshows are—that any and everything else corrupted by “liberalism” ever is, actually. And oversampling is only one facet of the problem with polls.

The poll sample is important. Oversampling Democrats will skew the results in favor of the Democrat candidate. In this poll, 34 percent identified as Democrat while only 26 percent described themselves as Republican, an eight-point difference. Imagine the results if those percentages were flipped.

They also surveyed registered, not likely, voters. Given that only slightly more than half of eligible voters actually voted in the 2016 presidential election, this too is not a representative sample.

The CNN poll, with their Democrat oversampling, showed voters nationally backing Biden over Trump by 51 to 46 percent, a five-point difference, less than the eight-point difference in party affiliation.

A nationwide poll is irrelevant in a presidential election because of the Electoral College. Instead there are 50 state elections taking place, not a national popular vote, to the consternation of many on the political left.

A presidential election is decided by a handful of “battleground states” that tend to swing red or blue, depending on the election cycle. An opinion poll in New York or California is irrelevant as it’s a foregone conclusion that the Democrat will win. The margin doesn’t matter as the electoral votes will be the same.

In battleground states, Trump leads Biden by 52 to 45 percent, a seven-point margin. Add the eight-point difference in party affiliation of those polled, and Trump’s lead could potentially be 15 percent.

Some other interesting tidbits are hidden in this poll. The economy typically predicts the next president, as USA Today notes. The U.S. economy is in the toilet these days due to the Wuhan virus causing a national shutdown. But as The Washington Post begrudgingly admits, “Americans have an increasingly dismal view of the economy, but they don’t blame Trump.”

And even all that doesn’t address the use of carefully-crafted questions intended to “lead” respondents to the answers the propagandists find useful, among still other highly suspect stratagems.

All in all, it’s like I always say: polls are the bunk. There are certainly valid reasons not to be too complacent about the likelihood of a Trumpslide. Deceptive Enemedia polls ain’t one of ’em.

FINALLY

Trump says: lolgf

The CPD announced early Thursday that “the second presidential debate will take the form of a town meeting, in which the candidates would participate from separate remote locations.” Steve Scully of C-SPAN is still set to moderate the second presidential debate from Miami.

But, in a Fox Business interview Thursday, the president said he would not take part in a virtual debate.

“The commission changed the debate style and that’s not acceptable to us,” Trump said on “Mornings with Maria.” “I beat him in the first debate, I beat him easily.”

“I’m not going to do a virtual debate,” Trump went on. “I’m not going to waste my time at a virtual debate.”

During his interview on Thursday, the president said he wasn’t going to “sit at a computer” to debate, calling it “ridiculous.”

“They’re trying to protect Biden,” Trump said. “Everybody is.”

Of COURSE they are. For one thing, the so-called “moderator” for the next scheduled shitshow, as has been standard practice for decades now, is just another Mark-1 Mod-0 shitlib:

C-SPAN’s Steve Scully, who is scheduled to moderate the next presidential debate, formerly interned for 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden.

Scully, who did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation, described his internships for both Biden and former Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Ted Kennedy in a 2011 interview with The Cable Center.

He also worked as a high-school student for Jimmeh Peanut. Seen enough? Oh wait, there’s more:

Scully in March 2016 tweeted an anti-Trump column titled “No, Not Trump, Not Ever.”

“Donald Trump is epically unprepared to be president,” reads the New York Times opinion piece that Scully tweeted. “He has no realistic policies, no advisers, no capacity to learn.”

“His vast narcissism makes him a closed fortress. He doesn’t know what he doesn’t know and he’s uninterested in finding out. He insults the office Abraham Lincoln once occupied by running for it with less preparation than most of us would undertake to buy a sofa,” the piece continues.

Scully also posted a photo of himself with Biden in June 2016.

So the question appears to be not “is this guy capable of performing the function of an impartial, neutral moderator in an honest debate?” but “is he even INTERESTED in doing so?”

Enough already—enough, and then some. Shit-can these shitshows, Mr Preznit—all of them, for all time. There is no reason whatsoever to subject yourself, to subject the American people, to another of these worse-than-worthless events. Don’t waste your time, and ours, on them. There are plenty of more worthwhile uses for it, plenty of much better venues from which you can speak directly to Real Americans. Such as:

Rush Limbaugh is undergoing treatment for cancer and has been unable to be behind the golden EIB microphone regularly. While he’s out every couple of weeks, guest hosts have been filling in, such as the incomparable Mark Steyn, Todd Herman, and others. But on Friday, October 9, the guest host filling in will be the most famous guest host of all time: President Donald J. Trump.

Listeners will be able to send their questions to the president through a special inbox on the Rush Limbaugh website. Rush recorded a message announcing the news to his fans.

I love it. The Jurassic Media can only act as gatekeepers, filtering and manipulating the message in any way they desire, only for as long as they’re allowed to. Deny them access, and you deny them the power of that cherished “gatekeeper” role. Do an end-run around them, on those occasions when you can’t just ignore them entirely, and let them howl about it till they’re blue in the face and gasping for air. There’s no longer any good reason to even pretend to care what they think, and one hell of a lot of good reasons not to.

Stand by, and stand ready

As I always say: we could use a lot more like ’em.

The crucial moment in Tuesday night’s debate was near the end when Joe Biden invited President Trump to throw the Proud Boys under the bus, and the president refused to do it. The president was asked by moderator Chris Wallace “to condemn white supremacists and militia groups and to say that they need to stand down and not add to the violence in a number of these cities as we saw in Kenosha and as we’ve seen in Portland.” Trump replied, “Sure, I’m willing to do that,” but then added that “almost everything I see” in terms of violence “is from the left-wing, not from the right-wing. I’m willing to do anything.… I want to see peace.”

After further back-and-forth, Trump said, “Give me a name,” and Biden said, “Proud Boys.” To this, Trump replied: “Proud Boys, stand back and stand by, but I’ll tell you what, somebody’s gotta do something about Antifa and the Left, because this is not a right-wing problem, this is a left-wing problem.”

Because I personally know both Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes and the group’s current chairman Enrique Tarrio, I was pleased by that response. The idea that the Proud Boys are a dangerous “white supremacist” organization is a myth created by the left-wing media, and it took courage for the president of the United States to stand tough in that moment.

The liberal media, of course, was scandalized, but who is rioting in Portland? Who attacked police and set up an “autonomous zone” in Seattle? Who has engaged in looting and arson in New York, Chicago, Minneapolis, and other major cities in the past several weeks? Hint: not the Proud Boys.

The Proud Boys, of course, were ecstatic over the president’s shout-out. They took the president’s words — “Stand back and stand by” — and incorporated it into their group’s logo. Oregon’s Democratic Gov. Kate Brown, who has allowed Antifa mobs to riot in Portland for months, took her cue to again denounce the Proud Boys as “white supremacists.” What Democrats don’t seem to understand is that there are millions of Americans who are sick and tired of being called racists, and these American voters know which party hates them. It’s Joe Biden’s party.

Dig that logo:

PB-stand-by-logo.jpeg

Say, that there would look most righteous on a black tee, would it not? Of course, the idea that the Proud Boys are anything resembling a “white supremacist” group is nothing but a bald-faced lie promulgated by manipulative propagandists.

It turns out not everybody believes the Proud Boys are white supremacists, including a prominent Black professor at a historically Black university.

Wilfred Reilly, associate professor of political science at Kentucky State University, said Wednesday that “the Proud Boys aren’t white supremacists,” describing the right-wing group’s beliefs as “Western chauvinist” and noting that their international chairman, Enrique Tarrio, is Black.

Mr. Reilly said that about 10% to 20% of Proud Boys activists are people of color, a diverse racial composition that is “extremely well-known in law enforcement,” based on his research.

“Enrique Tarrio, their overall leader, is a Black Cuban dude. The Proud Boys explicitly say they’re not racist,” Mr. Reilly told The Washington Times. “They are an openly right-leaning group and they’ll openly fight you — they don’t deny any of this — but saying they’re White supremacist: If you’re talking about a group of people more than 10% people of color and headed by an Afro-Latino guy, that doesn’t make sense.”

Facts, truth, and basic decency being of little use and no concern to Leftist scum the lies will continue, as the follow-up quotes included in the above article—shat forth from the cakeholes of putrescent pustules like Chuck Schemer and Cadaver Joe, among others—serve to confirm. But as quotes go, I like this one best:

“We’re a drinking club with a patriot problem,” Mr. Tarrio told CNN at a Sept. 26 rally in Portland. “As Proud Boys, I think our main objective is to defend the West.”

Preach it, brother. And bash on, until the last PantiFa pantywaist is just a pile of bloody goo lying unconscious in the gutter.

Ohhh, we REALLY got him now!

The NYT grunts, strains mightily, squeezes out another hard, desiccated nugget of pure nothing.

As a former accountant, please allow me to explain why all of today’s newly formed tax experts are fucking morons, and we should metaphorically put a brick in a sock and beat them over the head with it until they shut up.

I’m going to keep this blog post simple. I’m not going to get into any of the specifics of the leaked Trump taxes. Why? Because:

  1. We don’t know how full of shit the NYT is, and you don’t do taxes based on rumors and innuendo. You do taxes based upon financial statements and the company’s books.
  2. This shit is super complicated and my happy ass is retired and likes getting paid more money to write books instead of reading through thousands of pages of IRS regs.

Which brings us to today, with people freaking out about how Trump allegedly didn’t pay taxes for 10 out of 15 years and how that’s UNFAIR. Assuming that the anonymous tip isn’t total bullshit—and this is the New York Times we’re talking about and they love to just make shit up—and that the information is accurate (which means that whoever leaked it committed a felony, but that’s a whole different discussion)… my answer is so?

Actually, I beg to differ on one point: we DO know how full of shit the NYT is: totally. Other than that, it’s Larry Correia talking here, and nobody suffers fools less gladly than he does. So naturally, you’ll want to read it all.

Crazy needle pegged

Jeez O Pete, really? I mean c’mon, guys, REALLY?!?

If there’s anything we should have learned from months of “mostly peaceful” Black Lives Matter street protests, statue toppling and online mobs seeking to silence anyone who dissents against leftist narratives about “racism,” it’s that no one, living or dead, is safe from the attentions of woke fascists. Even Ludwig van Beethoven.

Beethoven’s work is not only at the core of the standard repertory of classical music; some of his most popular works have also become part of popular culture, their melodies recognizable even to those who’ve never heard an orchestral concert.

For the last 200 years, Beethoven’s compositions have also been symbols of the struggle for freedom against tyranny. The “Ode to Joy” from the conclusion to his Ninth Symphony remains the definitive anthem of universal brotherhood. It is no coincidence that the opening notes of his Fifth Symphony — whose rhythmic pattern duplicates the Morse Code notation for the letter “V” as in “V for Victory” — were used by the BBC for broadcasts to occupied Europe during the Second World War.

But to woke critics, Beethoven’s music has taken on a new, darker meaning. To musicologist Nate Sloan and songwriter Charlie Harding, stars of the “Switched on Pop” podcast produced in association with the New York Philharmonic, the Fifth Symphony is a stand-in for everything they don’t like about classical music and Western culture. As far as they’re concerned, it’s time to cancel Ludwig.

Just hold onto your hats, folks, we haven’t gone completely around the bend yet.

Exactly 80 years after Beethoven’s death, in 1907, the British composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor began speculating that Beethoven was black. Colderidge-Taylor was mixed race – with a white English mother and a Sierra Leonean father – and said that he couldn’t help noticing remarkable likenesses between his own facial features and images of Beethoven’s. Having recently returned from the segregated US, Coleridge-Taylor projected his experiences there onto the German composer. “If the greatest of all musicians were alive today, he would find it impossible to obtain hotel accommodation in certain American cities.”

His words would prove prophetic. During the 1960s, the mantra “Beethoven was black” became part of the struggle for civil rights. By then Coleridge-Taylor had been dead for 50 years and was all but forgotten, but as campaigner Stokely Carmichael raged against the deeply ingrained assumption that white European culture was inherently superior to black culture, the baton was passed. “Beethoven was as black as you and I,” he told a mainly black audience in Seattle, “but they don’t tell us that.” A few years earlier, Malcolm X had given voice to that same idea when he told an interviewer that Beethoven’s father had been “one of the blackamoors that hired themselves out in Europe as professional soldiers”.

“Beethoven was black” became a refrain chanted on a San Francisco soul music radio station and, in 1969, hit mass consciousness when Rolling Stone magazine ran a story headlined: “Beethoven was black and proud!” In 1988, two white students at Stanford University in California, following a heated discussion about music and race, defaced a poster of Beethoven, giving him crude stereotypical African American features, an act reported in the press as an act of racism.

Itchiness about Beethoven’s cultural dominance would continue to bring classical music out in occasional hives, and in 2007 Nadine Gordimer published a collection of short stories called Beethoven Was One-Sixteenth Black. But the issue of race laid largely dormant until this year – the 250th anniversary of his birth – when against the backdrop of Covid-19 becoming inextricably linked with the Black Lives Matter movement, echoes of Carmichael and X were voiced, coming from directions nobody expected.

Was Beethoven black?

Nope. He was just a damned ugly old sumbitch, that’s all. Glenn sticks the fork in, calls the whole thing done: “If you start with the presumption that pretty much all talk about race today is going to be dumb and self-indulgent, you also won’t go far wrong.

NUTS!

Cadaver Joe has lost it.

Joe Biden is in the early stages of dementia and is on medication for it.

“This is the big one, and the one I have the least direct experience with, but it’s been an open secret for some time. Anyone who has had a relative with Alzheimer’s or dementia can tell you, there are good days and bad days. On the good days, when Joe is at his most lucid, his campaign manager Jen will send him out for photo ops or TV interviews… make hay while the sun is shining, you know? On the bad days, Jen just tells the press pool “No Joe today,” and they’re all like, “Okay, cool!” Most of the time, he’s just a little foggy and gets really agitated. But one of my co-workers told me that back in May, there was a day where he thought he was running against Gary Hart in the ’84 primary again. Joe went under wraps for several days after that.

He’s been more lucid recently because his physician, Dr. O’Connor, put him on Namenda. Jen apparently was worried about someone finding it out, because she insisted that he prescribe it under a series of phony names, and then have the interns pick it up. I bet there are a lot of pharmacists in Philly wondering why there are so many young people on Namenda.

The dementia medication has had, um… unfortunate side effects.

There’s no dancing around this… the medication has made Joe incontinent. Though his “good days” have increased dramatically, he can barely get through a press event without running to the bathroom. That’s why he didn’t take questions after announcing Harris as his running mate. They weren’t afraid of the questions, the press loves him… they were afraid he was going to piss his pants on-camera. Lately, Jen’s been having closed-door meetings to discuss which brand of incontinence pads would be best to purchase. Seriously, a group of paid staffers sat around and discussed which brands were the least visible, the least likely to leak, and wouldn’t audibly “crinkle.”

That’s around the time I left the campaign. I can’t be a party to this sick game anymore. I never really liked Joe Biden, but he deserves better than to be thrust into the public eye when he should be in memory care. His wife should put a stop to this, but she’s way too excited about being “First Lady” to care about her ailing husband.”

That’s from an anonymous former Biden staffer, of whose credibility Thomas Lifson is cautiously dubious:

Normally, I would spurn the idea of citing an anonymous post that purports to contain inside information on a presidential candidate. But two factors currently weigh on my mind, causing me to make an exception.

One is that MSM Trump-haters have no compunction at all over relying exclusively on anonymous sources. The Atlantic used to be prestigious, and regarded as the gold standard for rigorous reporting and editing, and yet went with allegations against President Trump that are completely incongruent with his other behavior: expressing contempt for wounded and dead veterans.

That alone would not be enough.

But the other factor is more serious and directly relevant to the anonymous post I am about to cite.

The Biden campaign clearly is hiding their candidate from exposure to circumstances that might test his mental acuity and vigor on a sustained basis. We now have direct evidence that the campaign has been deceiving the public by using a teleprompter for Biden to read when allegedly answering questions in an alleged interview. The campaign’s chief spokesman evaded answering a direct question about teleprompter use during faux interviews.

Thus, we know that the critical question of Biden’s ability to discharge his duties if elected is being deceptively evaded. That, in my mind, opens the door to consider what is claimed to be an insider’s account of the true state of Biden’s health, now that we know his campaign would deceive us on this question.

We know full well, or damned well ought to by now, that they’d deceive anybody on absolutely anything at all in order to seize and retain power for themselves. These ARE Democrats we’re talking about here, after all.

Update! Further evidence, as if it were needed, from Howie Carr:

Yes, it will be great TV when Biden takes the stage with Trump.

If Joe’s being given his answers to recite via an earpiece, the Trump campaign will jam those transmissions. If Biden is allowed a Teleprompter (doubtful), the president will sneak up behind him and read Joe’s answer for him before Hidin’ Biden even realizes what’s happening.

I’ll leave you with one of Joe’s longer perorations of the week, as usual an attack on the incumbent. He began with a sneeze and then let it rip:

“He promised his administration would enforce every last buy in American provision on behalf of the American people and what makes his wild claims and hopes, he now hopes we don’t notice what he said or won’t remember and when he does follow through or doesn’t do when follow through, the exact opposite.”

May we quote you on that, Mr. Vice President?

In all fairness to Senile Uncle Gropey, it must be said that he was never really all that bright anyway.

Tell it like it is

I’m loving this one, too.

Roger Stone Calls for Trump to Declare Martial Law If He Loses
Pardoned Roger Stone is making extraordinary calls for President Donald Trump to invoke the Insurrection Act if he loses on Election Day.

“I don’t want to overplay the facts here, but if somebody would study the president’s authority in the Insurrection Act and his ability to impose Martial Law if there’s widespread [fraud], if he will have the ability to arrest [Facebook founder Mark] Zuckerberg, to arrest [Apple CEO] Tim Cook, to arrest the Clintons, to arrest anybody else who can be proven to be involved in illegal activity,” Stone, political trickster, told Alex Jones’ “InfoWars” on Thursday.

Curiously, there’s a link embedded in the “Alex Jones” portion of the above text that, for some odd reason, goes to Media Matters instead. As one would expect, the MM drivel copiously moans and kvetches that the VERY IDEA of widespread Democrat-Riot Party election fraud—a practice they’ve diligently, consistently pursued since Tammany Hall, if not before—is a “baseless accusation,” “entirely unfounded,” a “conspiracy theory” which “would likely intimidate potential Joe Biden voters.”

Snort. I can think of a thousand and one much better ways to “intimidate” them, bitch. Including a few, shall we say, permanent ones. Anyways.

“There’s going to be widespread, obvious, blatant, flagrant illegality,” Stone continued. “The authority exists to stop that. It will have to be used, if necessary.

“I do not advocate preventive detention, but people who commit crimes and think they can continue to get away with it, because we have a two-tiered justice, are just wrong.”

“This is not complicated and it is 100% legal,” Stone concluded.

“Force will have to be met with force. That’s the way this is going to have to work. It’s really unfortunate. I’m not an advocate of that. I’d like to have an honest election in which the real winner takes office. The real winner will not be Joe Biden. There is too much voter fraud already going on in Florida and Nevada.”

Correct in every particular. But it’ll be the “force met with force” part that will really resonate before all is said and done, I’m afraid.

Via Bill, who laments that “Trump won’t do it,” and I’m afraid he’s all too right also.

Lying liars just can’t stop the lying

My God, the balls on this malevolent shitrake. Well, on all of ’em, when you get right down to it.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) blamed the outbreak of the Chinese coronavirus in New York entirely on President Trump during Tuesday’s press briefing, criticizing the president for the “too little, too late” travel ban on Europe in March.

“Donald Trump caused the COVID outbreak in New York,” Cuomo said, repeating his claim. “That is a fact. It’s a fact that he admitted and the CDC admitted and Fauci admitted.”

“The China virus, the China virus, the China virus. It was not the China virus,” the governor said, repeating his long-held narrative of the “European virus,” not the China virus, infecting his state:

It was the European virus that came to New York. They missed it. They missed it. The China virus went to Europe. It got on a plane. It went to Europe. They never even thought of the possibility. And then 3 million Europeans got on the plane and came to New York. And they brought the virus. January, they brought the virus. February, they brought the virus. March, they brought the virus. And in mid-March, the federal government does a travel ban from Europe. Mid-March.

“Too little, too late, Mr. President. He caused the COVID outbreak in New York. Donald Trump,” he continued, also casting blame on Trump’s “incompetent” Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and Department of Homeland Security.

Sure, L’il Mario. What the hell, why not. A thorough debunking of Coo-mo’s arrant, self-serving horseshit follows, but why even bother anymore? There’s no talking to these people, no reasoning with them, no debating them honestly, in good faith. There’s only crushing them at the polls come November—and, eventually, hunting them down like rabid curs, and ending them.

Update! Hey, did somebody mention enormous clanking brass balls just now?

On Tuesday’s broadcast of Bloomberg’s “Balance of Power,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) stated that Republicans “don’t believe in science.” And that is why they have not “gone with the testing, tracing, treatment, isolation, mask-wearing, etc.”

Well, my swearing off of the COVIDIOT shite sure didn’t last very long, did it? Although in my defense, this is more of an “Asshole Demonrats” post than a COVIDIOT post per se.

They broke it, they bought it

Own it, motherfuckers.

The Left is now very upset that someone showed up with a gun and shot rioters in Kenosha, Wisconsin because they are against…violence and lawlessness and civic unrest? Since when?

I have some big news for every glib apologist and coiffed tankie on the miserably compliant Left: You built this. You refused to condemn and stop it. You asked for this. You don’t get to take the high ground now. You own this. Quite literally: you paid for it. Leftist foundations and politicians have nurtured and grown BLM for many years now. We’re still not sure why more Republican leaders have not pointed out that convicted terrorist Susan Rosenberg is on the Board of Directors for the fundraising arm of BLM, for instance—but they should.

True, we’ve all paid for it. We’ve paid with our tax dollars to put generations of kids through a public school gulag that teaches them to justify exactly this sort of violence based on a toxic combination of identity politics and “America is evil.” We’ve paid the businesses we buy from even as we’ve watched them spend millions teaching and enforcing the same hateful ideology, turning Big Corporate into a giant re-education camp that scares workers into political submission. We’ve paid with our time using social media and the data we’ve given our tech companies as they slyly shape the public square with their speech codes.

But the American people will never forget what you did. What you started. Because we will have to put this evil genie back in the bottle. And it will take time and force—violence—in order to do so.

You have abetted the destruction of our cities so you could win an election. You—you corporate stooges, you glib and sinister Nurse Ratcheds, you elegant child abusers and mob apologists—have become a new party all your own. You are now the BLM-Antifa Party. You are too scared or too complicit to denounce either group.

Yet you now heap fearful denunciations on those who, however ill-advisedly, try to defend the life, liberty, and property that their complicit and incompetent governments will not. We will not mindlessly accept your kneejerk narrative about Kyle Rittenhouse being some kind of crazed Nazi who gunned down innocent protestors in cold blood. Your convenient narrative does not comport with the facts that even the New York Times recently set forth. We will wait for more facts. We will watch all the video. We will not throw him under the bus, and neither should any American who believes in equality under the law.

Of course we don’t want citizens roaming the streets with guns drawn. Of course this tempts fate—and risks more tragic, needless violence. But that’s the point for the BLM-Antifa Party. That’s exactly what they want. That’s exactly what you asked for when you unleashed them.

The “moral” outrage of the twitterati right now is, in truth, shameless cowardice. Do you really think people are supposed to sit back and let “mostly peaceful” militias and mobs destroy their cities because you say so? Kenosha is supposed to welcome out-of-town extremists trained in terror tactics and shelter in place while their city is smashed to bits and burned to the ground?

No.

A good piece through and through by Dr Matthew Peterson, one of the founding editors of the American Mind website, but I have to say this “however ill-advisedly” nonsense is wearing thin. Likewise all the guff popping up about how he’s “just a child,” that his parents should have never let him go to Kenosha, that he had no business whatsoever “traveling across state lines” all of the twelve or fifteen miles it is from his home of Antioch, Illinois to insert himself into a fraught and dangerous situation he was neither intellectually nor emotionally equipped to handle in an adult fashion.

Well, bullshit. In my not-even-slightly-humble opinion, this young man ought to be praised to the heavens by all right-thinking people, from now till doomsday. He bravely stepped up to try to help his neighbors in need; his steady, measured actions when violently attacked by a rabid mob prove that at 17 he’s way more of an adult than one hell of a lot of snot-nosed shitlibs I can think of ever will be.

As for the disingenous shrieking from the demon Left dubbing him “the vigilante assassin,” a white supremacist murderer, a “domestic terrorist” and similar rot, to hell with them. Here’s how this brutal, heartless killer spent his day prior to successfully defending himself against the usual Leftard violence:

Mr. Rittenhouse was arrested early Wednesday in his hometown, Antioch, Ill., which is about 30 minutes southwest of the protests in Kenosha, just over the state line.

Multiple posts on his social media accounts proclaim support for pro-police causes like the Blue Lives Matter movement and Humanize the Badge, a nonprofit that he ran a Facebook fund-raiser for on his 16th birthday.

In most of the footage The Times has reviewed from before the shootings, Mr. Rittenhouse is around this area. He also offers medical assistance to protesters.

About 15 minutes before the first shooting, police officers drive past Mr. Rittenhouse, and the other armed civilians who claim to be protecting the dealership, and offer water out of appreciation.

Mr. Rittenhouse walks up to a police vehicle carrying his rifle and talks with the officers.

He eventually leaves the dealership and is barred by the police from returning. Six minutes later footage shows Mr. Rittenhouse being chased by an unknown group of people into the parking lot of another dealership several blocks away.

Rittenhouse was also photographed earlier that day helping to scrub graffiti off of a wall and other such hateful, murderously racist terrorist activity.

Screw the Proggy assholes, pantywaisted Weepycons, and everybody else wringing their hands and moaning about him. Their armchair-quarterbacking is just background noise, and should be treated as such. Kyle felt the need to go to Kenosha and volunteer his assistance, in any way he could be of help. He very sensibly came prepared to defend his life against the mad dogs unleashed there, as elsewhere, by local Democrat-Socialist-Rioter Party officials. He kept his calm and manfully stood his ground when faced with an unprovoked, homicidal attack, giving a good accounting of himself.

He was outnumbered, but he wasn’t outgunned. Under tremendous pressure, he cooly took out the trash, removing some true filth from the streets of Wisconsin. His parents should be mighty damned proud of their boy, I say. I’d just bet there’s a USMC recruited somewhere in the area who is practically drooling over the prospect of signing up such a stellar example of brave, resourceful, and upstanding American manhood.

Throw Kyle under the bus? NEVER. I say again: he is a bona fide American Hero, and my hat is off to him. Every Real American should support, encourage, and stand behind him without reservation or reluctance.
