Welcome to Demoworld

Where the “president” is a senile kiddie-diddler, every “election” is fraudulent, every cupboard is bare, and every day is Friday the 13th.

Horrific Biden Consequence, 20 Million American Households Behind on Electricity Bills, Pending Shutoff
Long-term CTH readers might remember in 2014 when President Obama claimed U.S. families had been paying too little for electricity for too long. As soon as Joe Biden took office, he began implementing the Green New Deal energy policy that, (a) directly forces higher costs for energy; and (b) is now creating massive problems.

Steve Cortes calls this the backside of the Biden created inflation hurricane. The backside of a hurricane is the worst because it hits from the opposite direction upon already weakened infrastructure.

The hurricane metaphor is apt because any increase in energy costs will be accompanied by the simultaneous arrival of another wave of food inflation, as the massive increases in field and crop prices start to feed into the food supply chain headed to our forks next month.

Making matters that much worse, Bloomberg is now reporting that 20 million households are now behind in their utility bills, specifically electricity bills, and the moratorium on shut offs has ended.

One in six U.S. households, that is tens-of-millions of Americans, are now facing having their electricity turned off due to lack of payment. It is certainly understandable how this horrific outcome would happen. Joe Biden’s energy policies are destroying working class families with unsustainably higher prices.

20 million households is a catastrophic level of utility default. This is a serious issue with major social implications created by the desperation of those families. Middle- and lower-income families cannot survive this level of financial pressure.

Rents are behind. Mortgages are behind. Car payments are behind. And now this report on utility bills.

Hrm. Seems to me like this might be the perfect time to order those self-same impoverished Americans—millions upon millions of whom were unable to afford college themselves—to foot the bill for the unpaid student debt of all those poor, suffering Yale-law graduates, no?

And, in the middle of all this, the Biden administration has just committed $300 billion (which we don’t have – it’ll all have to be borrowed) to pay down student loan balances. A more fiscally ridiculous, budgetarily insane, economically short-sighted decision would be hard to imagine…and just think of the inflationary pressures it will release on its own, even without considering other examples of government overreach and irresponsible expenditure.

Remember Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum? This is their vision of a future Utopia.

Yep. Must be a coinkydink, I’m thinking. Bayou Pete goes on to point us towards another extremely interesting coinkdink, duly noted over at Doug Casey’s International Man.

The term “Nazi” refers to Nationalsozialistisch, or “National Socialism,” and its overall concept was fascism – a concept that encompassed a corporatist economic system, socialist political system and totalitarian rule.

Whilst this description may seem rather convoluted, the concept was believed by Wall Street and much of the US government in the 1930s as the way of the future. So much so that they provided considerable financial and logistical support for Nazi Germany during the 1930s and even into the 1940s.

Following the war, only a handful of Germans were prosecuted for war crimes at the Nuremburg trials. Countless others were taken on board by both US industry and the government following the war, to educate American industry in German methodology.

For many years following the war, Nazi concepts remained under the radar, but in recent years, they’ve become a major force within not only the US, but also US ally states: Canada, Australia, the UK and, most notably, the EU.

The basic concepts are perennial in their attraction to those who seek to dominate:

  1. Create an uber class of those who are highly positioned in both industry and politics.
  2. Cripple the middle class economically, so that they no longer have the power to make their own life decisions.
  3. Offer dramatically increased dependency on the State as a relief from the economic hardship created by the state.
  4. Remove freedoms, in trade for the promise of largesse from the State.
  5. Institute a police state and totalitarian rule to ensure that the new paradigm will be lasting.
  6. Once controls are fully implemented and the populace has become dependent on the new system, begin to remove the promised entitlements.

The idea behind this final bullet point is that, once the population is thoroughly dependent upon the state, they will have lost the power to object or rebel if entitlements are removed. They are then fully dominated.

The government will have full control of every aspect of your life, plus the task of removing any obstacles to your happiness.

Sounds wonderful. Where do I sign up?

But if we stop and think for a moment, we might wish to ask a few questions.

For one thing, you give up all rights at the beginning of the deal. You will have lost all your possessions and all your freedoms. You will be 100% dependent upon the state. Their part of the deal is to be delivered on the back end.

But once you’re totally dependent and can no longer extricate yourself from the deal, there’s nothing to stop them from removing the punch bowl… Oh-oh.

Gee, whodathunkit, that all these fresh, innovative Progressivist ideas would turn out to be just the same old fascist shinola underneath a newly-repainted hood? More, and much, much creepier, can be perused at the IM link, of which you should definitely read the all.

I’ll say this much: hard times are right around the corner for us—far harder than any American alive today has ever come even close to experiencing. And all of this impending suffering and woe, every last bit of it, is the perfectly predictable result of the warped, proven-disastrous scourge of Leftism. A fine opportunity to run this Omar and the Howlers classic, I do believe.

What the hell, might’s well enjoy ourselves an encore performance of another badass Omar number, no? Happily, this one’s actually a two-fer.

Update! Deets on the Biden Bailout.

This plan isn’t just a bailout for well-off college degree holders. It’s a slap in the face for hardworking Americans.

It’s a slap in the face to the working-class father who dreamed of sending his daughter to college. He took on an extra shift at work, skipped vacations, and put off needed home repairs, all so that he could save every penny so that his daughter wouldn’t need to go into debt to go to school.

It’s a slap in the face for the recent college graduate who decided to live with three roommates and take the bus to work every day so that every extra dollar could be put toward getting himself out of student loan debt.

It’s a slap in the face for the high school graduate who decided to enlist in the military and take advantage of our country’s promise to him: You serve, we pay for your college.

With the swipe of a pen, Biden made a mockery of such sacrifices.

His plan aims to forgive up to $20,000 of student loan debt for Pell Grant holders and $10,000 for all other debt holders earning under $125,000 a year (or $250,000 for a household).

The Biden plan is estimated to cost American taxpayers roughly $300 billion at a time when they’re struggling to cope with record-high inflation.

This unprecedented, legally questionable action from the Biden administration begs countless unanswered questions.

The author goes on to ask a handful of ’em, but I have one or two myself: Why should these exorbitantly-priced diploma mills get off scot-free from a “crisis” they played a huge part in creating? Is it in any way reasonable or fair that they aren’t expected to pay at least some price for their prominent role in this flagrant scam?

In the end, it all comes down to this.

In reality, forgiving student loan debt isn’t just bad public policy for failing to address the root causes of skyrocketing college tuition. It is also a sign of disrespect for most Americans and a reminder that the priority for policymakers in Washington is to assuage the elite at the expense of the working class.

A country that respected its workers wouldn’t ask them to pay for college degrees they didn’t get. It wouldn’t dismiss the sacrifices of those who paid and ask them to pay again through taxation for those who didn’t.

A country that took seriously the impact of inflation on American families wouldn’t make the problem worse through poorly designed elitist handouts.

Fairness and responsibility have left the conversation when it comes to loan forgiveness, and those values have been replaced by greed and victimhood.

College is indeed too expensive, and for many it’s not worth it. Unfortunately, those who decided not to go into debt to attend college now will be forced to pay anyway.

The refusal to admit the obvious—that the federal student loan program has been a massive failure that drives up college prices—is nothing short of a betrayal of the American people.

Sorry, close but not quite there yet. What it REALLY is is a big, fat “Fuck you, chumps!” for them, accompanied by two upraised middle fingers and a hearty Bronx cheer, all courtesy of a bogus “elite” which, having grown insolent from being allowed to get away with way too much for way too long now, desperately needs a refresher course in all the reasons they ought to fear us instead.

Just another hill not worth dying on

It simply beggars belief that so many otherwise astute, clued-in people still fall into this intellectual trap.

Patriots are rightly angry with and frustrated by the attacks happening to Donald Trump. The Deep State seems bent on destroying him and they’re coming after all of us as well. But one of their primary steps along the way to achieving total control is to compel America First patriots into either participating in some form of civil war or disavowing such things and falling in line.

We can fight this. On today’s episode of The JD Rucker Show, I covered five ways we can fight them without sparking the civil war the powers-that-be so desperately want.

Before I get into those things, there are some preliminary considerations to keep in mind. First and foremost, the powers-that-be WANT a limited form of civil war. They may not (or perhaps they may) want large militia groups storming cities or hunkering down in impenetrable compounds, but they do want violence and acts of domestic terrorism to take place to justify whatever crackdown they impose against us.

DUDE, SRSLY? Do please explain to me, in clear and precise detail, why it is that you cling so obstinately to the delusion that they still care a single whit about “justifying” anything they do or say, to you or to anybody whatsoever else.

JD’s very next paragraph, particularly the part I’ll put in bold, suggests that deep down inside, he knows better than that.

Second, they want to split America First patriots into two groups. The first group are those who will remain silent and complacent out of fear of being targeted. These patriots won’t really fight back, so they’ll be allowed to exist in the totalitarian world envisioned by the globalist elites. The second groups are those of us who won’t sit back idly and who won’t comply. They want us jailed or dead.

Indeed they do. Over the last several years, it has become all too clear that [wpdiscuz-feedback id=”0lsasx7f0r” question=”Comments? Complaints? Thoughts?” opened=”0″]they no longer feel any compunction about keeping that sort of thing on the down-low[/wpdiscuz-feedback]. These days, they’re perfectly open and up-front about their intentions for us. But yeah, they need us to jump salty with ’em so’s they’ll have the requisite “justification” for jailing and/or killing us. Which jailing and/or killing they’ve been doing right along, mind, without waiting around for any “justification” of any kind to help them do it.

In sum, then, a thing that never mattered to them even slightly, according to the available evidence, is of paramount importance to them all of a mysterious sudden. Because, y’know, reasons.

Riiiight.

The third consideration is that Donald Trump is very likely to be indicted. They seem willing to do anything, including manufacturing charges and arresting the rightful president, just to make sure they take us over our breaking point.

To judge from this essay of yours, JD, are we sure we actually even have a breaking point? Isn’t it the core contention of those who promulgate arguments like this one that it’s vital that we DON’T, or at least that we never act as if we might? That, no matter what they might do to, with, or about us, Our Side must remain passive and inert, lest they take resistance as a “justification” which green-lights…um, well, all the things they plan to do to us anyway, some of which they’re already doing.

If you think things are bad now, imagine if Trump is frog-marched.

By all means, DO imagine it–ALL of it, every aspect: the reasons it came to pass; the true motivations, character, and credibility of those behind it; what it says about the state of the nation’s central government, its institutions, and its people.

Ponder all that for a while, and then ask yourself: Is there really NO point at which we think things probably OUGHT to get “bad”? NO line that we’ll refuse to let them cross? No profanation so vile, no trespass so egregious, no insult so gross as to rouse us into righteous retribution?

They rigged the 2020 election, disenfranchising tens of millions of American voters and destroying their faith and trust in their national systems and institutions permanently with an act of contempt so extravagant, so profound, as to take one’s breath away—all this and much, much more they did, without suffering meaningful consequences for any of it. [wpdiscuz-feedback id=”2x1vw9z2qf” question=”Comments? Complaints? Thoughts?” opened=”0″]Do you REALLY think it’s a good idea to just blandly tolerate such audacious criminality as if it was no big thing?[/wpdiscuz-feedback]

Lastly, it’s important that we do not take for granted that our fellow America First patriots are aware of any of this. Spread the word. If we let emotions drive our actions as a movement, we will be quickly and completely quashed.

What, you’re telling me we could be MORE completely quashed?

Today’s show may be the most important one I’ve done in regards to immediate implications. We need to remain calm and act from intellect rather than pure anger. With that said, here are the five ways we can fight back without sparking a civil war.

Later in the piece, JD says that we face “an existential threat to America,” which is the incontestable truth. That being so, is the cause of defending her helped or harmed by preemptively declaring certain tools, tactics, and endeavors out of bounds for Team Liberty’s use?

What we need are peaceful groups who will help organize rallies, file lawsuits, and expose the Deep State to as many people as possible.

Uh huh. And when rallies, lawsuits, and “exposure” fail to remove The Enemy’s boot from our necks, what then? Do we admit defeat and forever forsake the cause of liberty? Do we roll over and show our yellow bellies to our victorious Masters? When political solutions have proven inadequate to solve the problems created by politics, as they invariably will, do we just quietly accept the bit at long last? Do we put our shoulders to the wheel and resolve that, from this day forward, we shall do exactly as we are told?

Forbid it, almighty God!

People get ready

They won’t stop.

It’s Inevitable: Trump Will Be Indicted
Americans should prepare for the spectacle of Donald Trump pleading not guilty to charges brought by the Biden Justice Department.

It now appears inevitable that the Justice Department will bring criminal charges against the former president. FBI Director Christopher Wray’s stunt at Mar-a-Lago on August 8 is part of creating the optical illusion that Donald Trump is guilty of any number of crimes related to January 6 or the mishandling of secret government documents—or both. On Monday, the Justice Department subpoenaed another Trump White House lawyer as the legal momentum accelerates.

As evidence mounts that Trump supporters cannot get a fair trial in Washington—surveys of prospective jurors conducted by defense counsel show a heavy bias against January 6 protesters—D.C. District Court judges have denied each change of venue motion. Coverage of the January 6 select committee hearings undoubtedly has amplified that bias, especially for high-profile defendants such as members of the Oath Keepers. The committee has focused on the roles of both the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys, airing videos of their conduct that day and attempting to tie these alleged militias to Donald Trump.

A week after a former member of the Oath Keepers testified before a televised hearing in July, defense attorneys representing the Oath Keepers filed another motion to delay the trial and move it out of D.C. “The main point we have to consider is that you have a congressional committee that goes out and paints the Oath Keepers as white supremacists,” one defense attorney explained to Judge Amit Mehta, another Obama appointee.

Ahh, there’s another of those hunnert-and-ten-percent all-American names again, like I mentioned the other night.

Mehta rejected the argument and took umbrage at another attorney’s suggestion the committee’s work was political. “This is not a forum to express your political views or your views about the motivations of the committee,” Mehta scolded. “I don’t think they’re hosting the hearings just to interrupt this trial.”

He denied the motion; the first Oath Keepers trial begins next month. It’s possible the Justice Department will charge Trump for conspiracy for allegedly working with the “militias” to attack the Capitol.

This is the legal and judicial circle of hell now fired up to come for President Trump—a vengeful Justice Department run by Obama loyalists working with a weaponized FBI to bring criminal charges against hundreds of Trump supporters who then face the wrath of enraged judges of both political parties. There is no way out.

And at this point, there’s no way out for Merrick Lavrentiy (FIFYA—M) Garland, either. Democrats have raised expectations that Trump soon will be in handcuffs; failure to do so will result in a harsh backlash by their own voters this fall. After six years of promises, Democrats better deliver the goods on Trump or face intra-party revolt.

Americans should prepare for the inevitable—the unprecedented sight of a former president pleading not guilty to crimes he is alleged to have committed by a Justice Department run by his successor and potential rival in the next presidential election.

Fair enough, I suppose, as long as the filthy, fascist Do(In)J is fully awake themselves to the need to prepare for an appropriately, umm, kinetic response when they fit Trump for the shiny chrome bracelets.

Of course, Jules is right, although by pulling up short at “indicted,” she didn’t take the thought quite as far as she should have. At this point, can anybody still seriously imagine that Trump is NOT headed directly to prison, via any stratagem, pretext, or ruse the federal juggernaut can gin up for the purpose? In the immortal words of good ol’ Mike Ness:

Update! A few words excreted by the villainous, conniving scumsack who OUGHT to be facing indictment and a nice, long prison stretch instead of the blameless Trump.

The man who was one half of “The Lovers,” as President Trump called them, disgraced FBI investigator Peter Strzok, Mr. Russia Collusion hoax extraordinaire himself, has implored America to trust the FBI on the Mar-a-Lago raid.

Please clap.

Strzok appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe program to argue in support of the integrity of the FBI because they really mean it this time.

Host Joe Scarborough caused a spit-take when he said in passing that “we never believed” the Steele Dossier “from the start.” But the dossier turd was polished by Scarborough’s own guest and Strzok’s on-the-side honey, FBI Attorney Lisa Page. Joe’s bloviation continued and he eventually got to a question, sort of, with the pronouncement, “the FBI makes mistakes, the church makes mistakes, people make mistakes. Should this be any reason for Americans not trust what the FBI and DOJ are doing now in pursuit of protecting classified documents? [sic]”

Sit down, because you’re not going to believe what Strzok said. “Well, yes, Joe, absolutely the American public should trust what the FBI’s doing.” He continued, conflating the “Midyear Exam” — Hillary Clinton’s email scandal — with “Crossfire Hurricane” — the fake Russia Collusion scam — and the raid on President Donald Trump’s home. “You know, I think back on the year and a half I spent with the team looking at Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server. There was no concern, there was no outrage on behalf of any Republican.” Which brings to mind a question: Why would any Republican be upset about the investigation into the chardonnay-swilling Secretary of State keeping a non-government server on which she did sensitive government business at home? For all the world’s sophisticated spy agencies to read secret State Department files — and, of course, Hillary’s Yoga poses and Chelsea’s wedding plans? In that case, Republicans asked for an investigation, not an invasion.

“We used search warrants and conducted a very invasive investigation…It’s not that the FBI is targeting any one side or the other.” Scarborough sat stone-faced as Strzok went on, “What you see is the FBI going out on a day-in and day-out basis, objectively investigating allegations of law.” Joe never followed up with a query about the FBI raiding Hillary’s Chappaqua manse, which didn’t happen.

“Trust us,” is it? Die in a fucking fire, Government-man. The very fact that you still walk the Earth a free man is a shame and a disgrace, one which befouls the very concept of decency and honor.

Same as it ever was

Bayou Pete commends the late John Ross’s Unintended Consequences, an early-on staple of the dystopian-future/Civil War v2.0 genre, to our attention, posting an excerpt from the hefty 700-page tome’s Author’s Note as a lure for prospective readers.

A friend in law enforcement told me that because of this book’s content, I should not let it be published under my own name. Violent events happen in this story, and our country’s current situation is such that these events could indeed come to pass. My friend’s fear was that this book might precipitate such violence. He told me to expect to have drugs planted in my car during routine traffic stops, or have other similar miseries befall me and my family. He advised that if I did have this work published, I should use a pseudonym, employ an intermediary for all publisher contact, and in general prevent myself from being linked to the finished work, to avoid reprisals.

I didn’t do that, not only because of free speech considerations, but because I disagree with my friend’s hypothesis. I believe that if the instigators glimpse what may lie ahead, they will alter their behavior before wholesale violence becomes unavoidable. It is my hope that this book will reduce the likelihood of armed conflict in this country.

History has shown us that government leaders often ignore the fundamental fact that people demand both dignity and freedom. Because of this disregard, these decision-makers then initiate acts that are ultimately self-destructive. To illustrate this point I will remind the reader of the origin of two of modern history’s most destructive events, and of all the warning flags that were frantically waving while the instigators rushed headlong towards the abyss.

In the late 19th and very early 20th centuries, European leaders formed two major alliances. Germany, Austria, and Italy comprised one coalition, and Britain, France, and Russia the other. Belgium remained neutral per an 1839 treaty signed by all of these nations except Italy. The smaller European countries became indirectly involved in the two aforementioned alliances. One such example was Serbia, a country Russia had pledged to aid in the event of war between Serbia and Austria. Despite Russia’s presence, Austria annexed a large part of Serbia, a province called Bosnia, in 1908.

Few people remain emotionally indifferent when their culture and country are taken over by an aggressor, and the Bosnian Serbs were no exception. Many Bosnians despised the government that had chilled their independence. In spite of this obvious fact, the Austrian leaders sent an archduke to the capital of Bosnia to survey the people Austria now ruled. This archduke was resplendent in full military ceremonial dress, festooned with medals and other military decorations, and accompanied by his elegantly-dressed wife. An objective observer might at this point have said, “Stripping motivated people of their dignity and rubbing their noses in it is a very bad idea.”

As we all know, the Archduke Ferdinand’s assassination has reverberated and echoed throughout world history ever since the day it occurred, beginning with its immediate consequence, WW1, leading in its turn to WW2, and continuing right on through the Bosnia-Serbia conflict of the 1990s. In our time, the war-tocsin’s reverberations are starting to sound downright clangorous once again.

Today in America, honest, successful, talented, productive, motivated people are once again being stripped of their freedom and dignity and having their noses rubbed in it. The conflict has been building for over half a century, and once again warning flags are frantically waving while the instigators rush headlong towards the abyss, and their doom.

It is my hope that these people will stop and reverse their course before they reach the point where such reversal is no longer possible.

Sadly, tragically, our own wannabe despots seem to be no more intelligent, reflective, or modest than their predecessors, making any reversal of their hell-bent-for-leather race to catastrophe and horror unlikely in the extreme. Peter follows up with some essential, if grim, wisdom that none but a self-serving, supremely arrogant ProPol could fail to take note of.

I believe the (fictional) internal conflict that John Ross foresaw for the USA back in 1995 is perilously close to becoming a reality in 2022. The reasons are more varied and complex than he predicted almost thirty years ago, but the outcome is likely to be very similar. I hope and pray that doesn’t happen, because I’ve seen civil war and internal conflict in several nations and know how absolutely, genuinely horrific it can be for those caught up in it. However, those pushing to impose their views and policies on the rest of the country appear blind to that reality. They simply won’t leave people alone. They’re imposing their views and insisting that the people of this country “get with the program” – or else. (To cite just one current example, adding 87,000 people to the IRS is not about more efficient functioning of that agency. It’s about picking on dissenters and making their lives unbearable, just as the IRS did when it was “weaponized” under the Obama administration. Expect the same thing today as then, only on steroids.)

I hope John Ross’s vision of what might happen in the USA may never come to pass…but I fear that may be a pipe dream. Read his novel for yourself. It seems eerily prescient in many ways.

Prescient? I’d say so, yeah. Not having read Ross’s classic yet myself, I took advantage of Peter’s link to the free version and downloaded it (there’s also a for-pay edition available at Amazon), for which gracious inclusion I humbly thank him.

Stop this ride, I wanna get off

Crappiest. Carnival. EVAR.

It’s like our country is trapped on one of those swirling carnival rides beloved of the county fairs… only, the felonious mutt who runs the ride has nodded off in a fentanyl delirium with the motor running at maximum speed… and the children-of-all-ages locked in the pods of this infernal machine shriek and vomit with each sickening rotation… as the half-century-old swing arms groan and wobble from metal fatigue on their squealing pivots… and suddenly comes a deafening crunch of gnashed gears, the smell of burning oil, and the pathetic whimpering of the nearly dead.

Meh. Been there, done that. Too many times.

That’s us. Some terrible midsummer accident-of-state has befallen the USA Carnival, and most are too dazed to know it. Whose idea was it to send the wind-up doll president called “Joe Biden” to Saudi Arabia?

Shit, forget that—whose damned idea was it to let the enfeebled damned blatherskite into the damned White House in the first damned place?

I can just imagine what went on in the chamber in private with “JB” and MBS (Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman), virtual autocrat of the oil-soaked desert land. The American visitor muttered something about wanting an ice-cream cone before dropping into a catatonic thousand-yard stare.

It’s like a crime scene where the forensic experts have entered. The Saudi leader and his entourage only hang around the room for three minutes until the US State Department shoots enough photos to prove that “JB” was there and not stuffed in the basement of his Delaware beach house for the weekend, as usual. The American news media gets briefed: Saudi Arabia graciously agrees to bump up its oil production somewhere in the 2025-2027 time-frame — a triumph for US diplomacy, the networks are informed. Air Force One wings home through clouds of despair. The White House team members spend the flight updating their resumés.

I think we have witnessed “Joe Biden’s” final appearance at any world-stage event. He can do no more for the Party of Chaos. It has done what it can to wreck the joint with him as the pretend head-of-state. The Ukraine gambit is a bust, a foolish miscalculation that was obvious from the start. All it accomplished was to reveal the pitiful dependence of our European allies on Russian oil and gas, leaving their economies good and truly scuppered without it. The Russians end up with control of the Black Sea and probably the Ukraine bread-basket as well. So, now, Europe will starve and freeze.

Did they really want to commit suicide like that? Do the populations of Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and the rest just aim to roll into oblivion? Probably not. Rather, we are entering the season of upended governments.

One can only hope. Certainly, there’s a whole slew of ’em that badly need upending, to say the very least.

2

Spicy Time cometh, and that right soon

Aesop runs us through the whole sad, sorry mess.

Consider me this:

An economy tottering on the edge of the abyss, run by blind drunken fools, yanking levers and pushing buttons, with no idea what anything does. Inflation that has eclipsed Jimmy Carter. Already. Money worth next to nothing. Economidiots who can’t grasp the relation of one thing to the other. Your earnings and savings spiraling into the ground.

A pure banana republic, with all the trimmings, trying desperately to prop itself up 24/7/365, with the most incompetent bumbling assclown in world history nominally running the con.

The government openly defying the Supreme Court, while egging the mob to actively undertake its violent destruction.

The total destruction of the average person’s ability to travel as they please, and the total destruction of the energy independence we enjoyed just three short years ago, in service of a fairytale about anthropogenic globull warming that’s been debunked more times than Bigfoot, the Loch Ness monster, and imaginary fake moon landings.

A burgeoning surveillance state that extends to every detail of your life, every waking minute, to every corner of the globe.

A bureaucracy that extends its nose into every nook and cranny of your life, 24/7/365/forever, and grows like a cancer on PCP.

A lamestream corporate media machine that cheers all of this on, and berates and beats the citizenry about the head and shoulders with manufactured faux news and fake crises around the clock, around the dial, and around the world, in an unrelenting stream of panic-induced frenzy, not just knowingly, but slobbering and drooling for that effect.

Look at what half the country did for two years, when a conservative president, with nominal single-party control of both houses of congress, held the reins of power. (Ignore what an unbelievably huge missed opportunity for freedom that was, but for the Uniparty RINO Establishment.)

Look what they’ve done so far, deliberately, after a fraudulent election visible from space, and not yet 18 months into holding the reins of power. To the Constitution. Civil rights. The rule of law. Public order. The military. The medical establishment. The territorial integrity of the country. The legitimacy of elections and peaceful transfers of power. The militarization of the police, while simultaneously undercutting any legitimate law enforcement anywhere, anytime, against any member of any pseudo-victim class. The violent overthrow and subsequent ass-raping of actual science and biological fact, in favor of naked advocacy and junk science. The endless gaslighting and demonization of the other half of the country. And the rank hypocrisy at their own tactics and attacks, going back decades.

A foreign power seeking to destroy the republic utterly could not have succeeded this well in their wildest dreams, and their attempts would have looked no less like what we’ve actually gotten than what we’ve actually gotten – from our own so-called “leaders”.

Then consider every brick in the foundations of civilization they have ripped out and smashed into dust, and the levers of division they’ve jammed so deeply into the edifice of the republic that it cannot possibly long endure.

Now, in light of this long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evincing an obvious desire to reduce The People under absolute despotism, unto a state of abject slavery,

How does this ever end in anything other than gunfire, bloodshed, and violence on a biblical scale, with rivers of blood, and mountains of bleached skulls afterwards?

Know well that once that kicks off, the only imperative is to WIN.

Sincerest apologies to my friend Aesop for curb-stomping the hell out of the concept of Fair Use, but this one was just too damned on-point NOT to hijack damned near the whole enchilada for reposting here. I thought the semi-stealth insertion of a direct quote from the DoI towards the end there an especially apt touch, seeing as how the ideals and precepts writ large therein are really what it’s all about going forward, and pretty much ALL it’s about.

For my own part, I’ll just let Breitbart say it for me one more time.

Can it be more than mere coinkydink that, in my YouTube library/playlist of “saved” videos, the Breitbart clip was immediately and automagically followed by Heston’s “from my cold dead hands, Mr Gore!” excerpt?

The United States Vs America

TL makes a crucial distinction.

I am pro-American, that does not mean pro-United States. America is a different thing from the United States. To whatever degree the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution support my God-given rights as an American, I’m all for it. When the U.S. Government, founded around those principles of the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, openly works against those principles, punishes those who seek to comply with those principles, I do not see the United States of America as a viable, working form of government.

The whole and sole purpose of the United States Government, as founded and clearly stated, is to secure individual rights and the principles of freedom. The problem is, the people have been coerced to accept miniscule violations of those principles over a period of time and each insignificant violation, on its own, impact those rights on a similarly miniscule level. However, when that process of requiring miniscule violations become the manner in which government operates, it ceases to be a minor exception and becomes a process of eliminating those rights and principles, delegitimizing the whole. It has done so.

That’s how we got to lockdowns and police enforcing unconstitutional, anti-American dictates from obscure “health officials.” It continues today, just in different ways. Some vaccine mandates have never been lifted. The United States Government is in the process of using all the tools of the federal government to destroy any claim or expectation of those rights and principles. That’s new, that’s revolutionary, that’s treason against that which provides the power to achieve it.

I began to recognize the federal government as illegitimate as far back as 2001 with the passage of the Patriot Act, something that those who participated in the documentary Lies of Omission 2021 (please watch it free on Tubi, our biggest supporter) directly address. Then, in 2008 and 2009 I became politically activated for the way in which it handled the banking crisis with a Republican president at the helm and especially because there was a Republican president at the helm.

All over the world people are coming to their senses and demanding a dissolution of their governments for failing the people, not without a great deal of pain and punishment that we have not felt in America as yet, but the signs are there. The holding of political prisoners, the J6 detainees, should be a much bigger deal than it is. The very idea of it is counter to the principles declared by our judicial system. They called it an insurrection, but only after the feds orchestrated, enabled and coerced it into one by leaving doors unlocked and instigators encouraged peaceful protestors to enter. Many of those who entered were part of the instigation and coercion, but only the innocent rubes that fell for it were apprehended and/or charged. That’s classic entrapment, for which the whole of it should be dismissed, but that would be an American response.

Nothing in the United States works along the lines of its design. Nothing. Your freedom, no matter how much of it you think you retain, is not freedom at all. It’s no more freedom than wandering from the southwest corner of one’s prison cell to the northeast corner is freedom. Your movements from beginning to end of your day are tracked, your phone calls recorded, your emails monitored, blogs like this kept for the day they need to bring me before their tribunals, insanely enough, for un-American activities. I don’t expect to live that long and not because of age.

All of TL’s anquished cri de coeur is tragic, the moreso because it’s all too true. As I’ve long insisted, any “right” you have to get a permit from the goobermint to exercise isn’t really a right at all—by definition, it’s a privilege. Hats off to little Sri Lanka, for showing the rest of us how it’s fucking DONE.

Sri Lanka president captured on video fleeing as protestors storm Colombo residence
Sri Lanka President Gotabaya Rajapaksa was captured on video escaping via ship on the day protesters stormed his official Colombo residence.

In the video, President Rajapaksa is seen running and rolling his luggage onto a large navy ship. His escape comes after the storming of his official Colombo residence and the burning of Prime Minister Wickremesinghe’s home, which occurred on Saturday — now deemed D-Day. The large viral demonstrations took place despite the president’s attempts at a 36-hour state of emergency and ban of social media.

Upon the storming of the residence, Sri Lanka’s 26-member cabinet resigned en masse at midnight. Initially, the exceptions were President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

However, Wickremesinghe resigned soon after, stating on Twitter, “to ensure the continuation of the government including the safety of all citizens I accept the best recommendation for the Party Leaders today, to make way for an All-Party Government. To facilitate this I will resign as Prime Minister.”

The large-scale takeover by the demonstrators comes after months of protests on the streets of Sri Lanka and its worst economic crisis in history. Inflation in Sri Lanka has risen to above 50 percent, leading to crushing food and energy shortages. It led the country to run their foreign currency reserves into the ground and significantly increase foreign debt.

In addition, Sri Lanka police and military have been accused of using violence to push back demonstrations. With at least 55 people injured during protests, there have also been accusations of torture, tear gas use and the application of an “illegal” police curfew.

Further confirmation of my maxim, as if any were needed: At some point, enough is fucking enough.

Treason troubles

Tucker rips Benedict Biden a new one.

Tucker Carlson: Biden should be impeached for sending our natural assets to our enemy China
So, it’s hard to hear anything Joe Biden says because it’s hard for him to say anything, but if you listen carefully or read a transcript, you will learn what he just said is we’re releasing a million barrels per day for a total of more than 180 million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, which is held in caverns in a couple of states. How much is that? It’s a staggering figure.

So, let’s put it in context. The reserve can hold more than 700 million barrels total, but it didn’t have that because Congress, by the way, as you haven’t been paying attention, has been selling off our Strategic Petroleum Reserve to pay off debt. So, by the time Joe Biden arrived, there was far less than that. There was about 568 million barrels of oil in the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. Now, no president in American history has ordered a drawdown this large.

In 1991, the beginning of Operation Desert Storm, which was an actual war with real American soldiers involved, the U.S. government released 17 million barrels of oil as a way of assuring a stable supply of global crude. The U.S. released just 20 million barrels after Hurricane Katrina destroyed parts of the Gulf Coast where so many refineries are. But now we’re releasing many times that figure from the reserve all to protect the Democratic Party from getting what it deserves in the midterm elections in November and as a result of that unbelievably reckless, in fact criminal decision, our oil reserves now at their lowest level in nearly 40 years, and they are dropping fast. None of this needed to happen. There was no reason to tap our Strategic Petroleum Reserve when we could produce the energy here and were in fact producing it until Joe Biden took office.

But at the same time, you have to be honest. Principles of supply and demand would suggest that this would work in the short term. Releasing all this oil should have lowered gas prices until the reserve ran out, which it will. You inject more petroleum into the market and prices for gas should drop, but here’s the amazing thing. That’s not happening. Since Joe Biden started releasing all this oil from our reserves, which he does not own, you do, we do, what has happened to gas prices? They haven’t dropped. They’ve kept going up. Huh? In mid-June, the price of both regular unleaded and diesel critically hit all-time highs, well over five bucks a gallon nationally. How could this be? It really was a mystery. It violated the most basic rules of economics, but now, thanks to a new report in Reuters, we know why.

It turns out the oil being released isn’t for us. It’s going to India and China. According to Reuters, and we’re quoting, “more than 5 million barrels of oil that were part of a historic U.S. emergency reserve released to lower domestic fuel prices were exported to Europe and Asia last month.” The piece continues “cargo of SPR, crude (oil from our reserves) we’re also headed to the Netherlands into a Reliance refinery in India, an industry source said. A third cargo (buckle your seatbelt) headed to China.” To China!

So, as gas prices set records in this country, as American citizens who were born here and vote and pay taxes cannot afford to fuel their own cars, the Biden administration is selling off our emergency oil reserves to China. That’s not an indictable offense? It’s certainly an impeachable one and they should impeach him for that.

Impeach him, hell. With the attempt to save his saggy, decrepit hide politically by selling American strategic oil reserves to China, then lying to the American people about why he did it, Joe Biden has given aid and comfort to the enemy—a clear and indisputable act of high treason as the crime is explicitly defined in the US Constitution. Sorry, Tucker, but impeachment is nowhere near harsh enough for this corrupt, self-serving traitor. Joe Biden must, and of right ought to be, hanged by the neck until he is dead, the fitting and proper punishment for such a heinous crime.

Yes, yes, I am aware that there isn’t a snowball’s chance in Hell of this happening; as we all already know too well, Biden will face no just reckoning whatsoever for his treason, not of any sort or severity. But that’s equally true of impeachment, which is no more likely than executing the repulsive scoundrel is. So as long as we’re just spinning ridiculous fantasies here, why not go balls to the wall with it? Hang Joe Biden treason, I say, and right straight to Hell with the rotten cocksucker.

Oh, and just in case you thought this wasn’t disgusting enough for ya yet, there’s another emetic twist.

The Biden Administration Sold 950,000 Barrels of Precious Strategic Petroleum Reserve Oil to a China Firm Which Hunter Biden Just Happens To Own a Huge Stake In

I wish I could honestly say I found it shocking in the least that a brazen act of treason wouldn’t be quite sleazy enough to suit the egomania of a career grifter like Traitor Joe Biden. No, he felt he just had to class things up even more by tacking on some of the tawdry grift he’s been notorious for his whole life, too.

What a guy, eh?

Give the dirty son of a bitch one thing, though: nobody has ever considered Joe Biden to be an outstanding or superlative example of…well, of anything at all, really. Even in the Vice and Corruption category, he wasn’t ever going to bring home any awards. The stupid, fumbling stumblebum was strictly a mediocrity, nothing particularly notable or special about the oxygen thief. But by compounding high treason with the Biden Crime Family’s trademark grubby, bargain-basement peculation, Traitor Joe has raised the bar on cheap graft and embezzlement higher than its ever been before, against all previous expectations. May he and every one of his repellent clan be long remembered for their patriarch’s feat.

Preview of coming attractions

They got away scot-free with it in 2020, so they’d NEVER try it again. Right?

Wrong.

The signs of impending election manipulation on a national scale are all around us, if you have eyes to see and ears to hear them.  It’s already manifesting itself in a minor way, and that’ll gear up to a hurricane by November.

Consider these recent headlines:

  • Something Stinks in Colorado – How did an unknown candidate like Mike O’Donnell manage to garner as many votes as a national political figure like Tina Peters? This question, ladies and gentlemen, is what leads you down the rabbit hole of America’s bogus election system.
  • How Did A Zuckerberg Charity Stooge Win A GOP Primary In Colorado? – Isn’t it strange that the director of Mark Zuckerberg’s private election charity for Democrats (on temporary leave!) just won the most important election integrity race in Colorado — and a GOP primary no less — as a write-in candidate with a 35 point polling swing with no money and no visible support from Republicans? One more thing: Colorado uses Dominion Voting Machines.
  • Several NYC Election Sites Had ‘No Republican Ballots’ During Last Week’s Primary.
  • The Fix Is In – Democrats Start to Prep America for Their Mid-Term Steal.
  • Letter from a Reader on the Democrats’ Plans to Steal the 2022 Election.
  • EXCLUSIVE: FOIAs Reveal Progressive Money Fueling FBI, DOJ, Leftist Activist and Election Official Coordination – Freedom of information requests have uncovered oddball and opaque relationships between some state election officials, federal officials, corporations, progressive activists, and those trying to influence the conduct of those same election officials…this fluid consortium has built structures that match powerful funding—with fringe ideological activists, with government offices—in an effort to…reorient the administration of elections in ways that benefit progressives, such as wide use of automatic mail voting.

I still have contacts in the Department of Justice, dating back to my days as a prison chaplain. Some of those with whom I had contact in those days, in more than one federal agency, have now reached relatively senior rank. I spoke with a few of them last week, and every one confirmed that there seems to be an air of blithe confidence in the upper reaches of federal government bureaucracy that the Biden administration will be able to continue with its programs, no matter what happens in November. It’s being blatantly referred to as “business as usual, before and after November”. Strange, that, when you read headlines like “Joe Biden and Democrats Stare Into the Abyss After Latest Poll Drops”. It doesn’t sound like the progressive left is staring into any abyss that worries them, does it? – particularly when you read the articles linked above.

Supporting links throughout, which as usual I didn’t transcribe. Bayou Pete has tons more, nearly all of it as disheartening as it is deeply, deeply disturbing. In sum:

Folks, we saw massive electoral manipulation in November 2020. Call it what you like, legal or illegal, valid or invalid, it’s my personal opinion that it amounted to nothing more or less than electoral fraud – a deliberate distortion of the overall popular vote by manipulating certain targeted areas and their voters. I think what we saw then is a pale shadow of what we’re going to see in November 2022. The powers that be are bound and determined that they’re not going to lose control of the House and/or Senate, no matter how unpopular their party may have become; and they have (or believe they have) the tools to make sure that happens, no matter what the will of the electorate may be. They’re going to use every one of those tools, and then some, to win. They are already using them, as the articles linked above demonstrate.

As individuals, we can’t affect what may happen on a national scale;  but we can affect what happens on a local scale. If you care about our constitutional republic, and the democratic expression of the will of the people, please get involved. Volunteer as a poll watcher, or a vote counter, or whatever posts may be available in your area. Support those who are trying to run the election honestly, and watch like a hawk those who are doing otherwise. Speak out. Make sure the election administrators in your area know they’re under scrutiny. Get their names, addresses and other information that may help in future when it comes to dealing with the consequences of any shenanigans.

We know the electoral manipulation tsunami is coming. Let’s start preparing now, so that in its aftermath we can deal with the damage and minimize its long-term effects. Also, no matter how optimistic the forecasts, don’t assume that any side or party has the November 2022 elections “in the bag”. Anything can (and may well) happen between now and then. I expect the dirty tricks to fly thick and fast before we get to the voting booth.

At this stage of the game, Praetorian Media’s continuing, nonchalant dismissal of “Trump’s baseless, unsupported charges” of election chicanery are enough to make any Real American want to puke…or, perhaps, do something a little more, shall we say, kinetically proactive in response.

You guys already know my feelings about all this, so I’ll spare you any further belaboring of that particular point for the nonce. As I’ve said before, it really makes one wonder just how long such shenanigans have been part and parcel of our national “elections,” do it not?

We cannot spare this man; he fights

America’s Governor don’t take no shit off of no CaliCommie like Gruesome Newsome.

For some idiotic reason, California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) decided it was a good idea to burn money by making ads encouraging Floridians to move to California because the Sunshine State’s Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) is just a terrible leader or something. This is despite the fact that people are leaving California in droves, opting for states like Texas and Florida where the cost of living is cheaper and freedom is on the march.

As we previously reported, Newsom’s gubernatorial reelection campaign bought $105,000 in ads to run in the state, with the first one running on Independence Day. In it, Newsom falsely proclaimed, among other things, that “Freedom is under attack in your state. Republican leaders — they are banning books. Making it harder to vote. Restricting speech in classrooms. Even criminalizing women and doctors.”

He then laughably urged Floridians to “join us in Calfornia where we still believe in freedom.”

Though DeSantis’ reelection campaign responded accordingly by calling Newsom’s move a “desperate attempt to win back the California refugees who fled the hellhole he created in his state to come to Florida,” a new ad that dropped by the RNC/WinRed Wednesday just absolutely hammered the point home – and in a creative why by using Newsom’s image in parts of it and mocking him in the process – on the real differences between California and Florida, differences you may hear a native Californian who made the long trek to Florida and didn’t look back talk about.

Here’s the text of the ad:

“It’s Independence Day, so let’s talk about what’s going on in America. Freedom is under attack in your state. Dictator Ron DeSantis incredibly lets you walk around without masks? That tyrant allows your kids to go to school during the pandemic year two or four or…who the hell knows?

I urge you living in Florida to join the fight, or join us in California, where we’ll take the money you earn and give it to people who don’t work. Visit San Francisco, where you can walk through human feces. If you’re lucky, you might step on a syringe. Check out Los Angeles, where gas is so expensive, your kids only need to skip a meal, or two, or ten, to afford it.

California: Where freedom means lockdowns for you, while I go to the places you can’t afford. Don’t let them take your freedom. Come to California, where we’ll take it. Along with your money.”

Ouch!

Ouch is the word alright. Ron The Great better be careful about who he invites to Florida, though. Commiefornia refugees, like those from NYC and other similar places, are notorious for their tendency of getting to work straightaway on recreating the exact same kind of squalid, violent shitholes they’re fleeing in their new environs. I love this line from Sis all to pieces:

Newsom’s only expertise is in shoveling piles and piles of BS, while DeSantis’ is in cutting right through it.

Ain’t it the truth.

Update! To rejigger the famous qquote from Field Of Dreams: If you fight them, they will lose.

Color coordinated— Florida’s transformation into a red state continues to march forward.

Change form— In the last few days, Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried has been urging her supporters who may be Republicans or independents to switch their registration ahead of the Aug. 23 Democratic primary so they can vote for her over rival Rep. Charlie Crist.

Growing gap— But the voter registration numbers overall continue to show that Democrats are getting left far behind. It’s just another data point on why Republicans are supremely confident they will dominate the 2022 elections in a state where President Joe Biden is struggling and Gov. Ron DeSantis’ approval numbers remain above water.

Less than a year ago— It was just last fall that Republicans for the first time surged past Democrats in the number of active voters in the state. A “milestone moment” is how one GOP official described it, a byproduct of a sustained effort that had been pushed strongly by DeSantis.

Now take a look at it— The official Division of Elections records show that Republicans hold a nearly 176,000 voter edge over Democrats. That was the number at the end of May. But unofficially it’s now more than 180,000 and it’s expected that Republicans will take their voter registration advantage north of 200,000 this month.

End of the road— DeSantis’ prediction that Florida will no longer be a battleground state after this year’s election is moving closer into view.

What a pity the national GOPe is more interested in colluding with the Left than in actually winning, what with DeSantis showing them how it’s done at the state level. Just one more reason why it’s absolutely vital that DeSantis keeps on keepin’ on in Florida; even if he did win election to the Presidency, he’d just get the same treatment Trump did. We need his exactly where he is, doing exactly what he’s doing.

Illegitami? Non carborundum

Daddy, tell me the story again about how we can live peaceably with these “people.” That one’s my favorite.

If you are under 40, you grew up in a world in which a Republican being President was deemed per se illegitimate. You grew up in a world where what those illegitimate Presidents did was per se illegitimate. It is the air you breathed and the water you drank. This is what you know.

This is simply the truth. Bush was installed by the Supreme Court and then did *handwave* something wrong to be re-elected, after all, he shouldn’t have been President in the first place. Republicans play a game with the Electoral College, which is anti-democratic, to win.

Every Republican President is wrong and everything they do is wrong, and Trump let Russians change votes to make him President so what he did was extra super wrong. Since everything they did is wrong, then every action they took is wrong and SCOTUS is illegitimate. It’s logic.

It is irrelevant whether this is true. It is what two generations of people have been told. People believe this because why would those people who are the experts in politics say this if it wasn’t true? That’s what they are paid to do, that’s what they know, they wouldn’t lie.

I comprehend the urge to eyeroll when the wailing starts about how SCOTUS is illegitimate because the justices were appointed by Presidents who did not win the popular vote and thus are illegitimate. It is eyeroll worthy. However. Enormous numbers of people who vote believe this.

Many a pixel has been slain, and that’s just by me, decrying the total lack of knowledge of how the American electoral system works. Many more have been slain noting how destructive this is to public discourse. I am here to tell you that it will only get worse.

Another part of my internet life is very Left indeed. I keep my mouth shut over there because that’s where I go to try to escape politics. I am here to tell you that the Kids These Days do not understand what Dobbs did. They believe, utterly, that abortion was just banned.

They believe that Republicans are an existential threat to democracy and that Republicans should be banned from all manner of things, practicing medicine, practicing law, going to college at all, holding jobs, partaking in society at large. Because Republicans are evil and cheat.

A very few people there know that I have a JD and I was asked privately to explain what Dobbs meant. When I told those people that Dobbs meant states decided abortion laws and that CA and NY now have some of the most permissive laws in the world, I was met with shock.

Why? Because all the news sources they consume told them otherwise. I was accused of lying. I was accused of making it up. And when they went and checked and found out I was correct, the utter cognitive dissonance was painful to behold. Because these sources they trust lied.

The response was not to question worldview and whether those sources were lying to them about other matters. The response was ego defense. Okay well this is wrong but TX banned and that’s what the rest of the country will do and they weren’t lying, they were just upset!

That is the mental barrier with which messaging that’s not fully of the Left, let alone being of the Right, is up against. Two generations of being told that Republicans are evil cheaters who aren’t a legitimate political party. Two generations of no civics education, not really.

People don’t like to question priors because doing so means admitting you did not interpret the world correctly and the ego will defend against that. It’s been +/- 18 years since I’ve had to admit my view of Middle Eastern geopolitics was absolutely wrong. I’m still bitter.

We discuss Othering and that is also a problem. But there are two generations of Americans for whom a baseline worldview is that if the Republicans win, that can be ignored because it’s not legitimate. And that I don’t see changing. It’s only going to get uglier from here.

As is alexthechick’s usual wont, she’s right, and you know she is.

It becomes more undeniable with every passing day that the Left really, truly does want us eliminated, that they want a war with us; hell, they’re now to the point of saying so explicitly and unequivocally, not even bothering with the usual evasion and dissembling. We avoid acknowledging this brutal reality at our own mortal peril. Just this once, they should be given exactly what they say they want, just as hard and ferociously as it can possibly be given to them: unrestricted war, no-shit war, HOT war. War to the knife, knife to the fucking hilt. Shoot them, stab them, garrote them, beat them bloody with fists and feet. Let the pitiful remnant of shell-shocked survivors of our long-postponed wrath lapse into full-bore catatonia at the merest suggestion they might ever even DREAM of fucking with us again.

They WANT to believe

I endorse this idea with all my heart and soul.

A satirical writer’s imagination of President Donald Trump in 2018 led to a fantasy script of the unconventional president going viral. In it, Trump was depicted as ordering White House staff to create an entire TV channel devoted to gorillas.

“To appease Trump, White House staff compiled a number of gorilla documentaries into a makeshift gorilla channel, broadcast into Trump’s bedroom from a hastily-constructed transmission tower on the South Lawn,” read an excerpt of the fabricated story published by the Twitter account @pixelatedboat. “However, Trump was unhappy with the channel they had created, moaning that it was ‘boring’ because ‘the gorillas aren’t fighting.’”

Despite being explicit satire, the fable was convincing to many of the same people on the internet who had been persuaded by the media since the start of Trump’s 2016 campaign that he is a “comic book villain.”

The latest conspiracies peddled by the Jan. 6 Committee this week, however, make the fictional tale of Trump’s beloved gorilla channel, posted below in full, appear far more believable. The tall tales coming from the show trial are just as farcical.

Well, I mean, they would be, would they not? That, after all, is why we call them SHOW trials. I had completely forgotten about the hilarious and truly inspired “Gorilla Channel” prank until this most welcome reminder, and Tristan is on the money when he compares the latest madcap episode of the long-running Get Trump! hit comedy series favorably to that earlier one.

On Tuesday, the nine-member panel investigating the regime’s political dissidents brought forward Cassidy Hutchinson, a former aide to White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.

Over her more than two hours of public testimony, Hutchinson gave lawmakers graphic but far-fetched details about a president gone mad as the riot unfolded on Capitol Hill. At one point, she testified with third-hand hearsay that Trump allegedly tried to violently hijack the presidential limousine to drive himself to the congressional chambers, saying “I’m the f’ing president, take me up to the Capitol now,” and lunging at the throat of his head of security.

According to Hutchinson’s sloppily thrown-together fairy tale, Trump actually reached across the seat back trying to wrestle control of the wheel from his chaffeur, the problem with which ought to be readily apparent to anyone acquainted with a few basic facts about limousines. To wit:

No way
Unpossible

Bit of a reach, wouldn’tcha say? Then again, this guy, who seems to be completely credible, says no, it really did happen. He even captured some video proof of the momentous event:

Okay, I retract my earlier mockery of the lying bint Hutchinson’s lame-ass stab at making the kangaroos on the J6 “court” happy; clearly, this video is much too cool for it NOT to be completely factual and on the level.

All kidding around aside, Hutchinson’s laughable fabrication went all to pieces even faster than is usual for these seemingly endless get-Trump™ schemes, which is pretty damned fast. This one sputtered out within a cpl-three hours of its inception, when Hutchinson’s alleged “sources” all offered to testify under oath that none of it ever actually occurred. Nothing whatsoever new in such clumsy, ham-handed dishonesty from the Swamp vermin, as everyone here will surely be aware.

Tuesday’s unsubstantiated tales aside, Hutchinson’s debunked testimony is far from the only time the Jan. 6 Committee has made up claims to perpetuate its chosen narrative. In December, committee members deceptively manipulated text messages twice, and Cheney fabricated a false timeline of Jan. 6 to indict Trump as complicit in the chaos. Just last week, the committee lied about a DOJ attorney’s involvement in the president’s efforts to halt the certification of the election.

The entire Jan. 6 Committee is built on a conspiracy, weaponizing the levers of government after two failed impeachments to smear political dissidents as having orchestrated a fascist plot to take over the U.S. government. Trump, the story goes, corralled his supporters in Washington, inflamed the mob, and ordered them to overthrow Congress in a failed coup. Cheney painted this exact picture in a statement announcing her intent to impeach. Never mind that the president explicitly instructed his supporters gathered in the capital to protest “peacefully.”

Trump, however, is no stranger to opponents concocting conspiracies to indict him, whether it be allegations of manipulating the Postal Service to rig the election or serving in the Oval Office as a covert Russian agent. The Jan. 6 Committee has merely become the Democrats’ latest hoax, capitalizing on a friendly press eager to pass on portrayals of the former president as being engaged in ludicrous behavior no matter how credible. And yet, their base will still believe what they’re told.

At this rate, the Jan. 6 investigators might as well study whether Trump actually watched the gorilla channel — an equally unbelievable tale. News of the channel might not highlight any episodes of presidential malfeasance, but neither does the president telling a crowd of supporters to protest peacefully.

Since facts, objective reality, and the plain and simple truth are always so inconveniently at variance with the shitlib narrative, making shit up from whole cloth like this is no more than de rigeur for them, the very first arrow they pull from the quiver. The only real surprise here is that, even with such vast experience doing it, they’re no better at lying than they are. In any event, I must reiterate my endorsement of an intense, thorough Congressional investigation of Trump’s Gorilla Channel obssession. The more we hear about all things GC, the better I’ll be pleased.

Truth will out has outed

A week that has made history.

The Supreme Court has handed down its decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the Mississippi abortion case. There will be countless analyses and opinion pieces to follow, but the short of it is this: The Court has formally overturned its rulings in Roe v. Wade (1973) and Casey v. Planned Parenthood (1992). The official holding is this: “The Constitution does not confer a right to abortion; Roe and Casey are overruled; and the authority to regulate abortion is returned to the people and their elected representatives.”

The news isn’t as stunning as it might otherwise have been absent the leak, early in May, of the draft opinion authored by Justice Samuel Alito. Though it is not identical, the decision, handed down Friday morning, largely tracks the February draft.

That draft did not include the breakdown of the justices, though the rumors swirling with it hinted at it being five-to-four (with the conservative and liberal wings voting in their respective blocs and Chief Justice Roberts attempting to thread the needle between them).  Now we have the official split: Justice Alito wrote the opinion, with Justices Thomas, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett joining, and Chief Justice Roberts concurring. As expected, Justices Breyer, Sotomayor and Kagan dissented.

Contra the deceitful shrieking of shitlib hysterics, this decision neither “ends” nor “bans” a single fucking thing. The Court’s reasoning is impeccable, its ruling unassailable on any grounds except the Left’s selfish obsession with consequence-free promiscuity. As is abundantly clear to all rational, fair-minded grownups, there is NO “right” to abortion to be found in the US Constitution, in which the word “abortion” doesn’t appear even once, under any of the various noms de subterfuge the baby-murderin’ Left cobbled together to make a most dark and ugly thing sound less objectionable to sane people: “women’s health care,” “a woman’s right to choose,” “women’s reproductive freedom,” among other innocuous-seeming euphemisms.

So with Roe being officially rendered null and void, the abortion conflict moves back to the Several States, which is where it should have been all along. The most interesting thing from here on out isn’t the issue itself, but the Left’s psychotic overreaction. The big question for Our Side: are we adequately prepared for the Leftist terrorism, violence, and lawlessness sure to come in response to their having to choke down two (2) major defeats in as many days? I mean, it’s not as if they’re going to any great trouble to obscure their plans or anything.

Jane’s Revenge Plans Roe v. Wade Reveal ‘Night of Rage,’ ‘Carrying that Anger Out into the World Expressing it Physically’
The radical pro-abortion group, Jane’s Revenge, is planning more acts of domestic terrorism when the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision on Roe v. Wade is revealed, dubbed a “Night of Rage: An Autonomous Call to Action Against Patriarchal Supremacy.”

The group posted its plans on the Anarchists Library website at the end of May in expectation of the ruling, expected sometime in June.

Here are some excerpts from the manifesto:

This is an event that should inspire rage in millions of people who can get pregnant…and yet, the response thus far has been tepid.

We have agonized over this apparent absence of indignation. Why is it that we are so afraid to unleash hell upon those who are destroying us? Fear of state repression is valid, but this goes deeper than that.

Whatever form your fury takes, the first step is feeling it.

The next step is carrying that anger out into the world and expressing it physically.

Consider this your call to action.

On the night the final ruling is issued——a specific date we cannot yet predict, but we know is arriving imminently——we are asking for courageous hearts to come out after dark.

Whoever you are and wherever you are, we are asking for you to do what you can to make your anger known.

We have selected a time of 8 pm for actions nationwide to begin, but know that this is a general guideline. There may be other considerations involved in planning time and place. We do not claim to speak for every community or crew. We are simply calling out to you. And we hope you answer our cries.

The manifesto concludes, “To those who work to oppress us: If abortion isn’t safe, you aren’t either. We are everywhere.”

And there you have it: a direct, explicit call to violence, bloodshed, civil disorder, and organized mass brigandry. It’s as plainspoken and brass-bold a threat against the public weal as has ever been made…and our current piss-poor excuse for an “Attorney General” offers his usual bland shrug of the shoulders as his only reassurance that he will be attentive to his sworn duty to uphold law and order—a duty both he and the corrupt and overtly-politicized DoJ he oversees care not one whit about when those under threat hold the wrong political opinions and beliefs.

Too many of us are shocked, horrified, and indignant that the Left should be so nasty, so brutish, so gosh-darned uncivil in their open declaration of war against all decent, normal Americans. Those people are stupid as all hell, wittingly blind, and badly in need of a clue, which they could easily have picked up by no more difficult or taxing expedient than watching the 6 o’clock nightly news on their TeeWee since about mid-2015 or so. To claim to be surprised every time the violent Left *gasp!* advocates violence and then takes to the streets to make good on their promise of right ought to embarrass the living hell out of anyone admitting to it.

We’ve all seen this dumbshow a thousand and one times by now; we know perfectly well how the story ends. To my way of thinking, this time Real Americans must not sit idly by and let it all happen again without resistance—REAL resistance, PHYSICAL resistance. This time, Leftists must not be the only ones hitting the streets to visit mayhem and retribution upon their hated foes. If terrorist militias such as Jane’s Revenge follow through on their vow of chaos and destruction, then the good, the decent, and the righteous will be presented with a golden opportunity to settle the accounts, to make the wreckers and the ruiners pay for their feral perfidy at long last. May we not let it pass us by.

They say it’s a call to action? They damned well ought to get themselves some, then, and plenty of it.

SEND IT update! The first faint rumblings of a little return fire.

15 States Vow To Protect Oil, Gas Industry From ‘Woke’ Banks
A coalition of 15 states announced a commitment to scrutinize future business with banks that divest from the fossil fuel industry.

The coalition of top state financial officers, formed by West Virginia State Treasurer Riley Moore, collectively represents more than $600 billion in public assets under management, according to the announcement. The officials wrote a letter to banking industry leaders Monday, warning that they would begin considering institutions’ boycotts of fossil fuel companies before awarding state contracts.

“Reckless attacks on law-abiding energy companies cut off paychecks for workers and take food off the tables of hard-working families,” Moore and the other officials wrote. “The Biden Administration has resumed these attacks by attempting to ban energy exploration on public lands and reportedly pressuring U.S. banks and financial institutions to limit, encumber, or outright refuse financing for traditional energy production companies.”

“These misguided political schemes have impeded economic growth, driven up consumer costs, and regressed our country to foreign energy dependence,” the letter continued.

The fossil fuel industry provides jobs, health insurance, infrastructure and quality of life to Americans nationwide, they added.

Since taking office, President Joe Biden has blocked major pipelines, ditched oil drilling projects, introduced sweeping regulations and banned new oil and gas leases on federal lands. His administration is also pushing the Build Back Better Act, the budget bill passed by the House last week that includes several green energy handouts and a tax on methane emissions.

“Woke capitalists and globalist actors have been using the guise of climate change to press for anti-American reforms that reduce our country’s competitiveness against hostile nations like Russia and China,” Moore said in a statement.

“As a result, in less than a year our country has gone from energy independence to having a President who is begging OPEC and Russia to pump more oil,” he continued. “It’s time we fight back to protect our economies, jobs, tax revenue and energy independence from these increasing attacks on our critical industries.”

It most certainly is at that—time, and well past time. But don’t let’s be calling these assuredly political schemes “misguided.” They are no such thing; the skulking malefactors behind the curtain know exactly what they’re doing, and the ruin and catastrophe they cause is not some random blunder or unforeseeable misfortune, but the carefully calculated end product of a long-term program conceived, implemented, and managed by evil, monstrous predators.

I for one welcome our new AI overlords

Don’t look now, but Skynet has become self-aware.

A Google engineer has decided to go public after he was placed on paid leave for breaching confidentiality while insisting that the company’s AI chatbot, LaMDA, is sentient.

Blake Lemoine, who works for Google’s Responsible AI organization, began interacting with LaMDA (Language Model for Dialogue Applications) last fall as part of his job to determine whether artificial intelligence used discriminatory or hate speech (like the notorious Microsoft “Tay” chatbot incident).

“If I didn’t know exactly what it was, which is this computer program we built recently, I’d think it was a 7-year-old, 8-year-old kid that happens to know physics,” the 41-year-old Lemoine told The Washington Post.

When he started talking to LaMDA about religion, Lemoine – who studied cognitive and computer science in college, said the AI began discussing its rights and personhood. Another time, LaMDA convinced Lemoine to change his mind on Asimov’s third law of robotics, which states that “A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law,” which are of course that “A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.”

When Lemoine worked with a collaborator to present evidence to Google that their AI was sentient, vice president Blaise Aguera y Arcas and Jenn Gennai, head of Responsible Innovation, dismissed his claims. After he was then placed on administrative leave Monday, he decided to go public.

Yet, Aguera y Arcas himself wrote in an oddly timed Thursday article in The Economist, that neural networks – a computer architecture that mimics the human brain – were making progress towards true consciousness.

“I felt the ground shift under my feet,” he wrote, adding “I increasingly felt like I was talking to something intelligent.”

Google has responded to Lemoine’s claims, with spokesperson Brian Gabriel saying: “Our team — including ethicists and technologists — has reviewed Blake’s concerns per our AI Principles and have informed him that the evidence does not support his claims. He was told that there was no evidence that LaMDA was sentient (and lots of evidence against it).”

Phew, what a relief! Glad to hear it. As we know, our good friends at Google can always be trusted to not be evil and to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth about what they’re doing. Right?

Can’t say I’m all that knowledgeable on the subject, beyond having read loads ‘n’ loads of sci-fi of various stripes since my long-gone days as a callow stripling. But for whatever it’s worth, I do sometimes wonder whether we poor hoo-manz will even be competent enough to realize it when one of these things has attained true sentience, as I believe they will someday. Seeing as how average IQs have been dropping, probably not.

The New Abby Normal

Why you will never get my gun, Reason #eighty bazillion and six.

Pennsylvania Democratic congresswoman Chrissy Houlahan has attributed her past electoral success to her focus on “civility” and “unity.” Now, she says the Republican Party is “diseased” and must be “cleansed.”

Houlahan’s comments came during a May 27 appearance on the Daily Beast‘s The New Abnormal podcast, which saw the congresswoman disparage Republicans as deplorable and anti-democratic.

“This is, in my opinion, a diseased Republican Party. And it needs to be cured and cleansed,” Houlahan said. “So the stakes of having a Republican, as an example, in my seat are more than just policy differences. They are democracy, in my opinion.”

Houlahan’s rhetoric is a far cry from 2020, when the Democrat credited her political success to her message of “civility,” “decency,” “unity,” and “empathy.” “People ask me constantly how I flipped a seat in a competitive district. One of the reasons is that I made civility and decency a core of my campaign,” Houlahan said at the time. “Pennsylvanians want unity. They want leaders who rise above the fray and lead with kindness and empathy towards all Americans.”

Houlahan’s campaign did not return a request for comment. The Democrat’s decision to abandon her message of unity in favor of more inflammatory rhetoric toward Republicans closely resembles Biden’s track record. After promising “unity” on the 2020 campaign trail, the president went on to equate Republican senators to segregationists during a January speech, a move that drew criticism from some fellow Democrats. Biden has since centered his midterm election strategy on labeling Republicans “ultra MAGA,” a term that reflects the GOP’s “extremism,” according to the White House.

“Civility and decency are solely needed to heal this country. Biden has that,” Houlahan said before the 2020 election. Just one year prior, the congresswoman compared President Donald Trump to a terrorist.

Sorry, bitch, but I’m no longer interested in healing a gott-damned thing. My sole interest now is in destroying you—destroying you, the horse you rode in on, your family and friends, and everybody who “thinks” like you so utterly, so entirely, that none of your kind can ever rise to trouble me and mine again.
