January 6, 2025: The Real Insurrection Begins
The original Jan 6 narrative died in spectacular fashion. Monday’s proceedings represent the start of a legitimate insurrection against a corrupt, unaccountable, and failed government in Washington.

It’s a plot twist even the most creative—or diabolical—fiction writer never would have imagined.

On Monday afternoon, Vice President Kamala Harris will preside over Congressional proceedings to certify the election of Donald Trump, who defeated her in the 2024 presidential election.

The moment will represent one of many surreal moments on a date—January 6—that the Biden regime, news media, and Democratic voters consider one of the darkest times in American history. In fact, Harris herself categorizes January 6, 2021 alongside September 11, 2001 and December 7, 1941 as events she claims “remind all who have lived through them where they were…when our democracy came under assault.”

Four years ago, the ruling class in Washington attempted to commit what all evidence now points to as the premeditated murder of the MAGA movement. Powerful political and government saboteurs aligned to stoke the events of January 6, a four-hour disturbance those same saboteurs immediately branded an “insurrection.”

But it all came crashing down on November 5, 2024.

Trump won in decisive fashion as the majority of Americans sent a big middle finger tied to a wrecking ball to the halls of power in Washington. The failures of the Biden regime unquestionably contributed to Trump’s victory but so too did the relentless pursuit of the president, his family, his allies, his businesses, and his voters.

The January 6 operation backfired in a spectacular way. Instead of representing one of the darkest days in history, January 6 to millions of Americans instead embodies the corrupt, bloodthirsty, and vengeful nature of the existing government and its media bootlickers, which foreshadowed the sort of banana republic-style rule seen in Marxist hellholes not in the United States.

So Monday, January 6, 2025 signals the start of a real insurrection, which is defined as a “revolt against civil authority or an established government” not an unarmed and at points unruly demonstration inside a government building on a Wednesday afternoon.

Should Trump fulfill his boldest campaign pledges, federal agencies in the nation’s capital will never be the same. Permanent changes in now untrusted institutions such as the DOJ, the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security and, sadly, the Department of Defense among others promise to gut the rogue, unelected bureaucracy that really runs the show.

The Trump Insurrection already is paying dividends as employees flee agencies soon to be led by sworn foes of the Deep State. Chris Wray resigned ahead of his scheduled ten-year tenure as FBI boss.

Lots more yet at the link, all of it thoroughly gratifying reading. We can but hope that things shake out as Jules anticipates; t’is a consummation devoutly to be wished, certainly. My own skepticism and cynicism remain more or less intact, albeit not as firm as they were. Just between us chickens, I got one hand behind my back, fingers crossed. Factory Farming is Better Than Organic Farming
Some narratives are simply ubiquitous in our culture (every culture has its universal narratives). Sometimes these narratives emerge out of shared values, like liberty and freedom. Sometimes they emerge out of foundational beliefs (the US still has a puritanical bent). And sometimes they are the product of decades of marketing. Marketing-based narratives deserve incredible scrutiny because they are crafted to alter the commercial decision-making of people in society, not for the benefit of society or the public, but for the benefit of an industry. For example, I have tried to expose the fallacy of the “natural is always good, and chemicals are always bad” narrative. Nature, actually, is quite indifferent to humanity, and everything is made of chemicals.

Another narrative that is based entirely on propaganda meant to favor one industry and demonize its competition is the notion that organic farming is better for health and better for the environment. Actually, there is no evidence of any nutritional or health advantage from consuming organic produce. Further – and most people I talk to find this claim shocking – organic farming is worse for the environment than conventional or even “factory” farming. Stick with me and I will explain why this is the case.

A recent article in the NYT by Michael Grunwald nicely summarizes what I have been saying for years. First let me explain why I think there is such a disconnect between reality and public perception. This gets back to the narrative idea – people tend to view especially complex situations through simplistic narratives that give them a sense of understanding. We all do this because the world is complicated and we have to break it down. There is nothing inherently wrong with this – we use schematic, categories, and diagrams to simplify complex reality and chunk it into digestible bits. But we have to understand this is what we are doing, and how this may distort our understanding of reality. There are also better and worse ways to do this.

One of my verymost favorite John Ringo novels, The Last Centurion, gets waaaaay into the weeds on the “organic” versus factory-farm tussle, which lovingly detailed digressions I found completely fascinating, as well as highly educational. So no, the above in-depth expose doesn’t surprise me all that much.

I may or may not have brought this up here before, but for quite a few years there my good friend Al and his ol’ lady Lisa (one of my former NYC roomies who moved down to CLT for good after a disastrous romantic entanglement with another old friend of mine, Joe) made an astonishing wad of on-the-side extra coin peddling “free range” eggs to one of the local yuppie-puppie grocery stores. Al and Lisa live way out in the boonies near Concord, on a big farm passed down to him by his grandmother through his mom, both long deceased. Once, when I was up at their place on one of my regular visits, Al walked me out to the “free range” chicken coop to help him collect those upscale eggs.

Al explained the whole “free range egg” dodge to me on the trudge out there from the century-plus-old farmhouse, and it struck me as just funny as all get-out. See, the coop was the familiar wood-and-wire structure roomy enough to comfortably house about ten-fifteen yardbirds and keep them safe from snakes, coons, foxes, and such-like critters, the distinction which made it “free range” being that this one had wheels. There was a beat-down circular track along which, every other day, either Al or Lisa had to roll the ramshackle rig a minimum of three (3) feet so as to maintain its “free range” status. Once in a while they’d let the chickens out to peck, cluck, and scratch around in the tall grass and dirt for an hour or so, after which brief spell of liberation they’d all be bunged back into the hen-itentiary again.

All in all, the whole setup was about as “free range” as every other garden-variety, stationary henhouse any country boy has seen a blue million of—ie, NOT. As with practically every other goobermint-mandated system, “free range eggs” is nothing but a pure-dee grift, designed from jump for one purpose and one purpose only: to fleece the sucker hordes out of as much of their hard-earned as can be managed without donning a bandanna and sticking a hog-leg Colt in their faces outright

Now that you know the score, feel perfectly free to amble right on past your grocery store’s “free range” and/or “organic” section wearing a knowing smile and head directly for the more reasonably priced but every bit as nutritious and/or healthy aisle with a clear conscience. Let the smarmy yuppie urbanites and/or hippie-dippie doofi waste their gelt on fraudulence and PC hype.

The White House tried to hide from the public Joe Biden’s rapidly diminishing mental condition for his entire presidency, according to a bombshell report.

Biden’s team hired a vocal coach, put other officials into roles usually occupied by the president, scrapped meetings on his ‘bad days’, and kept him at arm’s length him from his own Cabinet members.

An explosive investigation by The Wall Street Journal has exposed an extensive, deliberate and years-long cover-up that also saw the administration gaslighting those who dared to claim Biden’s abilities had deteriorated since he was Barack Obama’s vice president.

Despite the efforts of ‘eager beaver hand-holders’, Biden’s decline became increasingly obvious, especially after Special Counsel Robert Hur last year released a report depicting a forgetful and frail then-81 year old.

Hur decided not to charge Biden for keeping classified documents in his Delaware garage because he ‘would likely present himself to a jury […] as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.’

According to the Journal, Biden could not even repeat back to his staff lines they fed him while preparing for his interview with Hur.

At the White House, Biden would also cancel important national security meetings, leaving aides to explaining to attendees that the president had ‘bad days and good days’.

A well-connected Democratic strategist confirmed to DailyMail.com that influence over Biden had been ‘concentrated by people who are not external facing,’ including his close advisors Bruce Reed, Steve Ricchetti, and Mike Donilon.

A great many heads ought to roll for this massive conspiracy of Deep State deception. But as we all already know, or at least should, not a one ever will.

See, there you go: The media told you the truth both times. When it told you Biden was cognitively fit as a fiddle, it was telling you the truth. He can do the job of president right now.

But on January 20th, he will suddenly degrade precipitously. So they were also telling the truth when they said (after Democrat billionaire donors told them to say it) that Biden must not be the candidate in 2024.

Having completed the destruction of the FBI, the Bureau Director leaves the stage.

Christopher Wray might not be the worst director in the history of the FBI. After all, there was James Comey, and before him Robert Mueller. Wray, however, who finally resigned on Wednesday, completed the work that Mueller and Comey began: he oversaw the total politicization of the FBI, and its transformation from a respected law enforcement agency into an American Gestapo, a tool of partisan politics that the Biden-Harris regime wielded like a club against its political enemies, real and imagined. Christopher Wray will not be missed. The question that he leaves in his wake is whether the damage he has done can be undone, and the FBI restored, or if the whole agency should simply be shut down.

While Christopher Wray was director of the FBI, agents of his crooked agency stormed Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home and scrutinized Melania Trump’s clothes closet for classified information. This was the first time in American history that a sitting president had weaponized the FBI against a political opponent, and Wray uttered not a public word about how the Federal Bureau of Investigation was becoming the Democrat Bureau of Lawfare and Harassment.

Trump wasn’t the only victim, either. The Biden-Harris regime sicced Wray’s feds on angry parents protesting at school board meetings, worked with Twitter and other social media giants to silence and deplatform people with opposing views, and even sent spies into Catholic churches.

This is the legacy of Christopher Wray. And while all that was happening, Wray repeatedly insisted that “insurrectionists” and the “white supremacists” constituted the greatest terror threat the nation faces today. Not Islamic jihadists. Certainly not criminals crossing the open border and roaming free inside the United States. Wray’s ridiculous claims about “white supremacist terrorists,” as well as the agency’s focus on Jan. 6 “insurrectionists,” were a thinly veiled attempt to criminalize and destroy all political opposition to the Biden regime in the U.S.

Can Donald Trump undo what Christopher Wray and his predecessors have done? It will be extraordinarily difficult. Trump has appointed Kash Patel to succeed Wray, and that’s a decisive step in the right direction. Back in August, Patel was asked what he would do if he did become the director of the FBI, and his answer was pure gold.

“One of my biggest personal recommendations,” Patel said, “is you shut down the FBI headquarters building and open it up the next day as the Museum of the Deep State, and you send those 7000 agents in the headquarters building down range to chase down rapists, to chase down murderers, to chase down drug traffickers and let the cops be cops on the streets across America. You keep a small contingent in Washington, D.C. That’s step one.”

Now Kash Patel has a chance to clean one of the filthiest of Augean Stables in Washington. All patriotic Americans should hope and pray that he succeeds. But virtually every agent who is in the FBI now will be resisting everything he does, and trying to prevent him from succeeding. For years now, patriotic agents have been forced into early retirement or given up in disgust. They’ve been replaced by partisan hacks who are happy to be tools of this ersatz American Stasi.

Christopher Wray Is Preparing to Sabotage Trump and Patel
If you assumed Christopher Wray’s resignation meant a quiet exit, think again. Reports suggest Wray is actively promoting loyalists within the bureau, embedding establishment figures even deeper into the FBI. The move appears to be a calculated effort to sabotage Kash Patel’s expected plans to overhaul the agency and implement meaningful reforms at the nation’s top law enforcement institution.

Sources within the bureau said Mr. Wray has begun promoting employees among the senior executive service, those who serve within the bureau’s leadership. These sources described this as an effort to burrow establishment figures deeper within the FBI.

Sources said a plan is being formulated to delay the new FBI director’s entry into the agency for three to four months.

Given the FBI’s tense history with Mr. Trump since the 2016 presidential campaign, such a strategy is risky.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen efforts to “Trump-proof” federal agencies. In fact, reports from August revealed that the Biden-Harris administration had utilized a little-known hiring mechanism to strategically place personnel in key divisions of the Department of Justice ahead of the 2024 election. The apparent goal was to shield the department from any future attempts at reform under a potential Trump administration.

Anybody at all surprised by these revoltin’ developments…shouldn’t be. Wray was just about the worst of a whole slew of bad Trump picks the first time out. To his credit, he seems to have learned from those mistakes, thank goodness.

A Manhattan judge on Friday agreed to drop the top charge against Daniel Penny in the subway chokehold death of Jordan Neely.

“We move to dismiss the top count of manslaughter in the second degree,” Assistant District Attorney Dafna Yoran told the court at around 3:30 p.m.

The judge then signed off on the request — which came after jurors twice said Friday they couldn’t come to a verdict on the manslaughter rap.

The 12-person panel will continue deliberating Monday on the lesser charge of criminally negligent homicide, which Penny, 26, faces in the fatal May 2023 encounter aboard an uptown F train.

He has pleaded not guilty.

Which, of course, he is. In truth, the man is a bona fide hero—and in a sane, righteous city (if any still exist in Amerika v2.0) he’d be hailed as one for such an exemplary display of selflessness, initiative, physical courage, and derring-do in defense of a subway-car load of total strangers. Instead of this revolting abomination of a politically driven witch-hunt stunt of a show-trial of a shit circus, NYC ought to’ve expressed appreciation and humble gratitude via a tickertape parade down Broadway in Penny’s honor for stepping up like he did to protect his fellow straphangers from an aggressive, proven-dangerous predator with an extensive record of mental illness, serious health issues, substance abuse, chronic hallucination, and random violence.

Poor Perry Mason must be spinning in his grave on an 800-horsepower rotisserie rack at this vile molestation of the very concept of justice.

It’s a lead-pipe cinch that every other passenger riding the train that day (hell, any day, EVERY day) would’ve sat timidly back, kept quiet, and pretended not to see a thing, hoping and praying that said maniac would just pass them by and go threaten, harass, and assault somebody else. Hegseth left veterans group post voluntarily, wasn’t ousted over drinking, misconduct: Trustee letter
A former trustee confirmed that Pete Hegseth “voluntarily resigned” as president of a veterans advocacy group in 2016, according to a copy of a letter exclusively obtained by The Post, denying recent allegations that the defense secretary-designee was forced out due to alcohol abuse, sexual impropriety and financial mismanagement.

Concerned Veterans for America trustee Randy Lair in a Jan. 16, 2016, missive wrote that “it was important to set the record straight given what appears to be a very personal attack against Pete and his military service.”

“The truth is Pete resigned his position as CEO of Concerned Veterans for America as a result of a difference of opinion as to the future of the organization and so that he could focus on other endeavors, including his relationship with Fox News,” Lair said.

“Pete was not terminated by the organization and, in fact, we at CVA worked with him through this difficult decision and mutually agreed the end of 2015 was the best timing for both parties,” he added.

The CVA letter was meant to address an “unsolicited email” that had been forwarded to Fox News that included “a very personal attack against Pete and his military service.”

It also appears to directly contradict a whistleblower report and other allegations from Hegseth’s tenure at CVA published Sunday by the New Yorker, in which ex-employees alleged the former vets group president had abused funds and been “totally sloshed” at several of the organization’s events.

Sean Parnell, a former senior adviser at CVA, told The Post on Tuesday that the characterizations in the email and by the whistleblower report included in the piece were totally false and “not reflective” of the Army vet who worked with.

“If you read that article, I mean, I think you come away thinking that CVA was some sort of slush fund for parties or something — and nothing could be further from the truth,” Parnell said.

The ex-CVA adviser added that Hegseth never mismanaged funding but rather disagreed with the organization’s more war hawkish donor base, as he came to embrace President-elect Donald Trump’s more isolationist foreign policy stance.

Whaaa…you mean to tell me this Hegseth affliction is NOT on board with the military/industrial/political complex’s preference for an endless succession of forever wars in which there is no discernible national interest nor even the slightest intention of just winning the damned things? Why, the very idea!

Worse yet, Hegseth’s reckless disregard for the usual order of things could seriously impede the flow of the taxpayer-money spigot; despoil the prestige of the Perfumed Princes of the Potomac Puzzle Palace; and leave the whole sorry lot of Blue Falcons, inside-the-wire FOBbits, and/or REMFs looking like the skulking, scheming, Participation Medal-bedecked pig-in-a-poke pedlars they so truly are.

Tech Billionaire Tells Joe Rogan the Govt. Plan ‘to Control AI’ is Why He Left WH Meeting, Endorsed Trump

Perhaps one of the most welcome surprises of the 2024 election cycle was the large number of Democrats and/or progressives who threw their support behind President-elect Donald Trump. The cumulative damage to the U.S. after four years of progressive rule, the deceitful way it had been implemented, and the speed with which it occurred, left even some lifelong Democrats disaffected. Silicon Valley venture capitalist Marc Andreessen was among this group.

During a Tuesday interview with podcaster Joe Rogan, Andreessen described the moment he decided to leave the Democratic Party. In the spring, he had participated in a series of White House meetings about the future of AI. Over the course of their discussions, Biden officials fleshed out “their plan to control AI through government regulatory capture.” Horrified by the administration’s intentions, Andreesen walked out and endorsed Trump.

What had left the tech billionaire so spooked? Andreessen explained:

The AI thing was very alarming. We had meetings this spring that were the most alarming meetings I’ve ever been in. Where they were taking us through their plans, and it was – basically just full government – full government control – like this sort of thing, there will be a small number of large companies that will be completely regulated and controlled by the government, they told us. They said don’t even start startups – there’s just no way that they can succeed – there’s no way that we’re going to permit that to happen.

Rogan gasped.

Andreessen continued, “They said that this is already over. It’s going to be two or three companies and we’re just gonna control them and that’s that. Like this is already finished.”

“When you leave a meeting like that, what do you do?” Rogan asked.

Andreessen smiled and said, “You go endorse Donald Trump!”

Apparently the Left doesn’t think it necessary to even TRY to hide it anymore—not from you, not from me, not from anybody: they’re fascists, plain and simple. Up front, out loud, and damned proud. Thus does true inner nature make itself known, as is its wont.

More than 60% of X users preferred having the IRS’s budget “deleted.”

Only 3.9% said the federal agency’s budget should remain the same, 5.6% felt it deserved more money and 29.9% said the IRS budget should be decreased.

The Tesla CEO’s tweet follows Treasury Department Deputy Secretary Wally Adeyemo making a desperate public plea for billions of dollars in more funding for the IRS.

“The IRS is going to potentially have to make dramatic decisions about stopping hiring and starting to budget for a world in which they don’t have $20 billion, which will stop a lot of their progress,” Adeyemo told reporters on a press call Tuesday.

”If they don’t get that $20 billion that is at risk they would run out of enforcement money at the current pace sometime in fiscal year 2025,” he added.

i suspect they may even be sincere.

they experience a return to rights and freedom as loss and chaos.

it’s how you can tell they are an entrenched aristocracy of permanent state. it’s also how you can tell that you’re over the target.

apparently once you’re used to wielding dictatorial control, losing it feels like tyranny. one literally mistakes the freedom of others for the oppression of elites by unjust wreckers and the rollback of that which one rolled out without accountability or just or even legal right seems like some vastly unfair deprival of prerogative.

“how dare you delimit our right to rule!” decries the bureaucratic class and the professors and pundits who cling remora-like to them seeking power, privilege, and prestige. it’s sort of startling in the perfection of the honesty of its overt inversion.

this is, of course, precisely what our framers intended:

the monstrous sprawl of these executive agencies and their relentless and pervasive intrusion into all aspects of lives and livelihoods is not just incompatible to their vision, it stands anathema to it.

it seems to me that the interesting part here is that i fully agree with brian about being an end to business as usual. we just disagree about the desirability of such an undertaking.

and so, i put it to you as we frame the key question that seems to define this divide:

“is the federal government as we know it something to defend or something to disassemble?”

because that’s really where the line is going to be drawn in the contention to come.

and for perhaps the first time since the 1930’s, the game is one that can be won because the slanted gameboard has been overturned.

White liberals, instead of comparing what has happened to the black family since the liberal welfare state policies of the 1960s were put into practice, compare black families to white families and conclude that the higher rates of broken homes and unwed motherhood among blacks are due to “a legacy of slavery.” But why the large-scale disintegration of the black family should have begun a hundred years after slavery is left unexplained.
