ANOTHER idea whose time has come…and gone

Lock. Her. Up.

It’s Time for Hillary to Pay for What She’s Done to America
Hillary Clinton lied. She knew Donald Trump was not a Russian spy. Trump knew she was lying. The FBI knew she lied but went after Trump anyway. The CIA knew she lied. President Barack Obama knew she lied. Joe Biden knew she lied. The FBI covered up for her. The CIA covered up for her. The DOJ covered up for her. Barack Obama covered for her and so did Joe Biden.

“We know they are lying, they know they are lying, they know we know they are lying, we know they know we know they are lying, but they are still lying,” according to the sardonic epigram attributed to Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.

He was describing life and imprisonment under Stalin. But it’s an apt description for the Democrats’ reign at Main Justice and the FBI. There’s justice and then there’s just us. America has sunk to new depths of political depravity, treating members of one political party differently from another, as pointed out in the Durham Report.

Justice without fear or favor, Merrick Garland? My ass.

Durham wrote the “Clinton Plan” was conceived to distract from her very real and very illegal destruction of evidence — her emails — which were under a preservation order. “According to the declassified Clinton Plan intelligence, on July 26, 2016, Clinton allegedly approved a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisors to tie Trump to Russia as a means of distracting the public from her use of a private email server.”

Clinton’s apparatchiks, including Jennifer Palmieri, John Podesta, and Jake Sullivan, told the Special Counsel they knew nothing of the plan to distract from Hillary’s email scandal, describing such a plan as ridiculous. Durham found their protestations ridiculous.

But it’s about time someone paid for all this lying which has corroded the very depths of the “intelligence community,” especially the FBI, and the body politic as a whole – reaching the top of the Obama White House when then-CIA Director John Brennan briefed President Obama about the “alleged approval by Hillary Clinton on July 26, 2016, of a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisors to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by Russian security services.”

None of these privileged Washington swells is going to the D.C. Gulag with the January 6ers. None has apologized to the American people or Donald Trump for putting them through this roiling cauldron of chaos.

Who should pay?

Hillary.

Au contraire, mon cher; if there were still any semblance of justice left in this notional “nation,” Her Herness™ would be but the first on a long, long list of defendants sweating it out in the dock awaiting their day in court. What does it say about Amerika v2.0—perhaps even worse, what it does it say about us—that every single last man Jack of us knows perfectly well that not a single one of them will ever face even so much as a light slap on the wrist or a mild, half-hearted scolding from a judge for their treasonous crimes?

Those rowdy, exuberant Trump-rally chants of “LOCK HER UP, LOCK HER UP!” have never sounded so hollow.

Speaking of long, long lists, the good folks at The Federalist also have one that’s worth pondering (via Insty).

The fact of the matter is, if you trusted any of the above-named blaggards, scoundrels, and Deep State crawly things even before Hillarygate and her entirely manufactured Russia Collusion hoax was perpetrated, you definitely weren’t paying close enough attention.

The wrong question

PJM’s Kevin Downey ax’s it.

The Warped Unreality of the Leftist Mind: How Many Lies Will These Idiots Swallow?

A: All of ‘em, as many as it takes. The REAL question, though, is: How many can they make the rest of us swallow, or at least pretend to?

There are people who can’t admit when they are wrong. Some folks are reluctant to admit they’ve been conned. But pinkos are emotionally weak toilet people who tie their political leanings to their self-esteem. They’ll swallow lie after lie, lest their political peers call them a horrible name — like, say, a “conservative.”

In other words, the Bolshies will eagerly lap up lefty lies to stay in the commie club, because it’s better than being considered a (gulp) Republican.

When asked why he was having trouble with working-class voters in the Midwest, then-president Obama said the following:

And it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

In one sentence, the great orator managed to remind threaten people that those who do not vote for him are to be considered angry, racist, xenophobic, gun-toting hillbillies. Mind control 101.

Leftists also need to feel they are better — dare I say superior — to someone, and that someone is you.

The better to see hear genocide you with, my dear.

Thou shalt not suffer a Leftist to live

Okay, so I finally finished reading the Frontpage mag article referenced earlier in my “Eyrie up” post, which was the subject of today’s Substack thangamabobber. It really does merit another mention and a further excerpt here on the CF main page, I think, which is a totally unprecedented occurrence around these h’yar parts.

Some amorphous “system” did not fail and could never rescue Neely. Neely’s family failed Neely, and then Neely failed himself. So many of his relatives have reported to the press that his mother’s murder, when he was only fourteen years old, devastated him. Where were they? Did they feed him, house him, teach him a narrative that enabled him to survive and thrive? If so, Neely listened to other narratives. Narratives that approved of dropping out of society and using an illegal drug that may have contributed to his violent behavior.

The “system,” and rotten old capitalist white supremacist Amerikkka, tried, again and again, to help Neely. Neely resisted help. “Mr. Neely was on what outreach workers refer to as the ‘Top 50’ list — a roster maintained by the city of the homeless people living on the street whom officials consider most urgently in need of assistance and treatment. He was taken to hospitals numerous times, both voluntarily and involuntarily.”

After one arrest for beating an elderly woman, Neely was treated with kid gloves. The Times reports, “He was to go from court to live at a treatment facility in the Bronx, and stay clean for 15 months. In return, his felony conviction would be reduced. He promised to take his medication and to avoid drugs, and not to leave the facility without permission. ‘This is a wonderful opportunity to turn things around, and we’re glad to give it to you,’ Mary Weisgerber, a prosecutor, said. ‘Thank you so much,’ Mr. Neely replied. But just 13 days later, he abandoned the facility. Judge Biben issued a warrant for his arrest.”

Jordan Neely was living his life by a narrative that facilitated violence and human decay. Living on the street, begging and threatening those who didn’t give, taking drugs, hurting, rather than contributing to society, were all acceptable plot points in that narrative. Those who give money to homeless panhandlers subsidize this narrative. Leftists who denigrate America and despise those of us who “work hard and play by the rules” advance this narrative.

Neely was not the only New Yorker living with trauma. On January 15, 2022, Michelle Go, an Asian-American woman “who did everything right,” was pushed in front of a subway train by an assailant sharing significant demographic details with Neely. Martial Simon was a homeless black man and said to be mentally ill. The subway murder of a good woman, Michelle Go, received a fraction of the attention allotted to Neely.

In April, 2022, Frank James mounted a terror attack in a subway car. He shot ten people. James was also black. On April 11, 2023, a teenager was shot dead on the subway; authorities say his death is most likely related to gang violence in a largely black housing project. On or before December 10, 2022, a man was stabbed to death on the subway. On October 23, 2022, video was released showing a black man shoving a man onto a subway track.

The New York City subway system is a deadly place. Crimes are disproportionately committed by black men. Passengers take that information with them when they enter the subway. When Neely, as reports indicate, began shouting in an irrational and threatening manner, passengers went into “fight or flight” mode. The three men who restrained Neely worked to keep him immobilized until police arrived.

Yeah, well, the dead giveaway as to what’s really going on here is that, when I lived in NYC back in the 90s—during Rudy Giuliani’s miraculous, unlooked-for, and continually-maligned-by-shitlibs resuscitation of the beleagured city, thank goodness—the subway was no such thing at all. It has been made that way, so as to reinforce a narrative and bolster The Plan even now being implemented by the Evil Left.

In truth, America’s major cities don’t have to be dangerous, anarchic, eternally-blighted nightmares unfit for human habitation. NYC, Detroit, Chicago, SF: once garden spots, eminently desirable places to live and/or work which were the envy of the Western world, all of them have been made the way they now are—on purpose, by nefarious villeins who assuredly do NOT have anyone’s best interests in mind other than their own.

Ought to be some way of thanking the Left properly for that, I just can’t think of what it might be. Well, other than the one hinted at in my post title, I mean.

First thing we do, let’s ban All The Things

Why we can’t have nice things anymore.

‘The Wrong Side Of History’ Is The One With Air Conditioning, Dishwashers, And Gas Stoves
These campaigns unfurl the same way every time. Leftists float some outrageous invasion into personal freedom in the name of stopping climate change or enhancing safety. When conservatives react with indignation, the media gaslights the country, casting critics as a reactionary cabal itching to start a “culture war.”

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but you know, I still maintain that a Biden appointee to the Consumer Product Safety Commissioner, Richard Trumka Jr., probably told Bloomberg News that gas stoves were a “hidden hazard” and “any option is on the table,” and then argued that the state could ban anything that “can’t be made safe” — which includes ladders, bikes, candy bars, cars, forks, desks, bathtubs, and televisions, and so on.

Oh, stop being such a hysteric; no one is going to take away your straws or light bulbs or combustible engines.

“No, Biden Is Not Trying to Ban Gas Stoves,” the New York Times assured its readers. The GOP “freak out” over the government “coming for your gas stoves” was “outright nonsense,” explained MSNBC’s Chris Hayes. Though, they all argue, gas stoves are basically mini Chernobyls that are killing your children as we speak — especially minority children. All the pseudoscience says so. And if you disagree, you might be one of those “Gas Stove Denialists.”

“Gas stoves became part of the culture war in less than a week,” added NPR. “How Gas Stoves Became the Latest Right-Wing Cause in the Culture Wars,” explained Time Magazine. The Washington Post claimed that the “GOP thrusts gas stoves, Biden’s green agenda into the culture wars.” The “culture war” can never be instigated by leftists suddenly shifting societal norms but only by social conservatives who pick needless fights over piddling, long-decided issues.

As Axios noted, gas stoves had become the “Right’s new fight,” which was somewhat confusing considering “the Right” didn’t bring up gas stoves in the first place. But the natural state of the world — the inevitable evolutionary finale of any policy debate — resides on the left. The speed of progress merely hinges on compelling the knuckle-draggers to see the light.

Ahh, but you didn’t really think they’d stop with just gas stoves, did you?

As Christian Britschgi in Reason points out, the Biden administration “has proposed tightening energy efficiency standards for 16 product categories, including many home appliances. The DOE has opened or finalized rules on microwave ovens, normal ovens, refrigerators, and laundry machines in just the last few months.” The Biden administration’s counterintuitive policy initiatives ensure that you’ll be compelled to buy crappier appliances at higher prices.

A-yup. All things, please note, that Whypeepuh dreamed up, engineered, and made a reality. Meanwhile, the Leftard Red Wreckers can do nothing, invent nothing, create nothing except chaos, destruction, and general human misery. And they’ll never, ever forgive us for that.

An unwelcome resurrection

“Expert” me no “experts.” Nor no “intellectuals,” neither.

The Return Of The 20th Century Pestilence
The pestilence of the 20th century that killed millions was not the Spanish flu, not communism, not fascism. It was intellectuals. Intellectuals laid the foundation and rationale for communism and fascism, which resulted in millions dead, and science, art, history being stunted.

It is no wonder that both George Orwell (“So much of left-wing thought is a kind of playing with fire by people who don’t even know that fire is hot”) and Eric Hoffer (“When you look into the question of what it is about this country that brings out all the malice and hatred of the American intellectual, you discover that what he can’t stomach is the mass of the people”) had an intense hatred for intellectuals.

Before I continue, I must define my terms. Intellectuals are persons who have a mastery of words and are good at only words, or as Thomas Sowell has so deliciously phrased, they are “masters of verbal virtuosity.” Some disciplines’ entire raison d’être is based on this ability; examples are lawyers, journalists, pastors, writers, and several college disciplines.

This is not a modern phenomenon. It has been with us ever since some individuals were gifted with verbal diarrhea. In Ancient Greece, there were intellectuals called sophists, who were so known for this that the word “sophist” has come down to us to mean someone who is glib at advocating an absurd or immoral viewpoint. And in Roman times, Cicero observed that, “There is nothing so absurd that it has not been said by some philosopher.”

When I first went to study at a university, one of the things that I learned to my surprise is that anything can be argued for and justified. Anything! I mean anything!

Well, not necessarily, or not convincingly, anyway. Not for anyone who is truly intellectually-astute, at any rate, as the author seems to be. To wit:

Today’s leftist intellectuals offer arsenic by calling it honey, censorship of free speech by calling it hate speech, dictatorship and fraudulent elections by calling it democracy, racism by calling it inclusiveness and diversity, methods to prevent electoral fraud are called voter suppression.

Like all pathological liars, they know they are most convincing when they act like they really believe it while simultaneously knowing it is bulls**t – and many do, through the process of doublethink. Read and listen to all of the justifications that liberals use for the purpose of censorship.

The interesting thing is that their rationale at first sounds logical. It kind of makes sense. For example, you can see this phenomenon in reading the rationale for all the countless things that liberals now label “racist” (the outdoors, disliking body odor, organized pantries, horse riding, weight reduction, philosophy, preventing cheating, white paint, proper grammar). When you read the arguments, they sound reasonable, they have a certain logic to them. Except that it’s all BS. You may not be able to initially voice why the argument is BS, but you know it’s BS.

The same is true for just about every other liberal obsession. Like euthanasia, or “reparations,” or solutions for climate change. One of those solutions is that because cow flatulence is a greenhouse gas, we should kill the cows (except a handful, reserved for the elite), do away with farms, and have everyone eat crickets and cockroaches.

There is a certain logic there.

Except it’s bulls**t.

Yep, t’is. Which means that, by definition, it ain’t really logic at all. Being intellectually discriminating enough to discern the difference betwixt the geniune article and the steaming, stinking, fly-blown pile has become something of a lost art in these, the latterly days of our managed decline. And that ain’t no kind of accident, neither.

The legitimization of delegitimization

Time and past time all Real Americans just stopped caring what they think or say—about this, about that, about anything whatsoever.

Ooooooh… Al Franken Thinks The Court is Illegitimate
During a recent episode of his podcast, the disgraced former U.S. Senator Al Franken, who resigned in 2017 following a sexual harassment scandal, asserted that the Supreme Court is “illegitimate” and referred to Chief Justice John Roberts as a “villain.”

Franken cited the contentious confirmation of Justice Amy Coney Barrett, who was nominated by former President Trump, and the court’s ruling last year to overturn Roe v. Wade as a basis for his statement.

“The way they didn’t take up [Obama nominee Merrick] Garland and on saying, ‘It’s an election year,’ and then they, of course, put in Coney Barrett like eight days before the election. Then, of course, Dobbs and abortion.”

Franken continued, “I think the Chief Justice is actually much more culpable for this division than people think,” Franken argued. “I think Roberts is much more the villain in this than people give him credit for.”

That’s a rather bizarre position because Roberts has become the de facto swing vote on the court and was notoriously opposed to overturning Roe v. Wade.

The radical left, of which Franken is a part, has been making mountains out of molehills regarding so-called financial scandals involving Justices Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch. But, unfortunately, they are using these allegations as a pretext for subjecting the court to congressional oversight—which, I must add, is unconstitutional.

While the accusations against Gorsuch and Thomas are unfounded and lack legal and ethical justification, the allegations against liberal Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor are not. Sotomayor received $3.6 million from Penguin Random House, a publishing company that had business before the court. Furthermore, she opted not to recuse herself from the related proceedings, while Justice Stephen Breyer did recuse himself since he had received money from the same publisher.

I don’t think we’ll ever hear Franken argue that Sotomayor delegitimized the Supreme Court. Nor will any other Democrat, for that matter. Their objective isn’t to enhance the ethical standards the court must uphold but to force conservative justices off the court so they can retake the ideological majority on the nation’s highest court.

Well, I mean, D’UH. Contra their own lofty-sounding eructations claiming otherwise, they care not a whit about principle, ethics, or other nebulous, gauzy vagaries. What they DO care about—first, last, always, and exclusively—is expanding their power, getting their way, and plowing over anything or anyone that might conceivably hinder or thwart them in that eternal quest.

Whenever a shitlib like Franken starts in lecturing you about “principle” and such-like, better carefully check your six right away. Because there’s sure to be a big, brass cock aimed directly at your fourth point of contact—wielded by a Leftard, with malicious intent aplenty. If you indulge them by pretending to care, you only get more of the same for your trouble. Best to just tell them straightaway to go take a flying fuck at a plate-glass window instead, and have done with it.

“Nobody is coming for your gas stove”

Except, of course and as usual, when they are.

New York Becomes First State to Pass Legislation Banning Use of Natural Gas for Heating and Cooking
The Biden Regime said reports claiming they were seeking to ban gas stoves was a conspiracy theory.

Chuck Schumer went out of his way to chastise those concerned saying, “Nobody is taking away your gas stove.”

Although Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm mocked the millions of Americans concerned about the federal government’s plans to put restrictions on gas stoves, she admitted the Biden Regime wants to ban “some” gas stoves.

Now, New York State is banning the use of natural gas for heating and cooking in some new buildings.

According to The New York Times, “The provisions will require new buildings to be constructed with only electric hookups for appliances and utilities beginning in 2025. The law will go into effect for buildings with fewer than seven stories beginning in 2026. The requirements will kick in for taller buildings by 2029.”

Gonna be veddy interesting to find out where they think the electricity to power those new appliance hookups is going to come from—especially once the millions—hundreds of millions, that is—of mandatory EVs start being plugged in for the hours of intensive re-juicing necessary to move the useless fire hazards more than forty feet. Before they, y’know, explode, then burn your house to the ground.

Unavailable for comment at presstime were all those “avid lifelong hunter” D卐M☭CRATs who absotively, posilutely aren’t coming for your guns.

Show trial, on trumped-up charges, in kangaroo court

Serving up a rancid platter of greasy, unpalatable “justice,” Amerika v2.0 style.

‘It’s Fairy Dust’: The Proud Boys Case Goes to Jury
The fate of five men who supported Trump and protested Joe Biden’s election on January 6 lies in the hands of a biased D.C. jury.

A marathon January 6 trial besieged by scandal, controversy, and acrimony is now in the hands of a Washington, D.C. jury. After nearly four months of back and forth, the government and defense attorneys made their final pitch during closing arguments this week in the multi-count case against five members of the Proud Boys.

The drama surrounding the trial, both inside and outside the courtroom, is worthy of a Netflix series: shocking revelations of numerous FBI informants, deleted government evidence, outbursts from the bench, colorful defense attorneys, last-minute accusations of an assault on police, a mysterious “attack plan” sourced to a former intelligence operative, and concerns over a jury stalker, to name a few.

At the center of the drama are innocent men held behind bars awaiting trial as the January 6 Select committee conducted televised hearings portraying the Proud Boys as one of the masterminds behind a “domestic terror attack” the Biden regime compares to 9/11.

Ethan Nordean, Zachary Rehl, Joseph Biggs, and Dominic Pezzola have been incarcerated under pretrial detention orders since early 2021 on various counts, including conspiracy and obstruction of an official proceeding. By the time jury selection began in December, the defendants had been in jail for almost two years awaiting trial. Rehl, Pezzola, and Biggs are military veterans with no criminal history. (Biggs is a Purple Heart recipient.) Enrique Tarrio, the group’s leader, was arrested on similar charges in March 2022.

In June 2022, U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Matthew Graves indicted all five with seditious conspiracy, a rarely used post-Civil War statute, accusing the men of “oppos[ing][ by force the Government of the United States and by force to prevent, hinder, and delay the execution of any law of the United States.” Evidence was gleaned from more than 500,000 messages, which included FBI informants and unindicted co-conspirators, posted on Parler, Telegram, and group texts; virtual meetings and interviews; and video clips of the defendants’ movements before and at the Capitol on January 6.

“These defendants and their co-conspirators were motivated by a shared refusal to accept the results of the 2020 Presidential Election,” Graves’ office wrote in a brief last week laying out the conspiracy’s timeline. “In the weeks following that election, the defendants—in their roles as leaders and members of the Proud Boys—publicly and privately expressed their rejection of the results and their beliefs about the necessary response.”

Two cooperating witnesses and multiple FBI agents and police officers took the stand over the course of several weeks to detail the defendants’ alleged plot to strike “the heart of our democracy,” assistant U.S. Attorney Conor Mulroe said on Monday. “Their success was only temporary. The Constitution survived.”

BWAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Stop it, man, you’re killing me over here.

The conspiracy, Mulroe explained, can be “unspoken, implicit, a mutual understanding, or a wink and a nod”—a laughably broad definition for an offense akin to treason.

“It’s fairy dust,” Steven Metcalf, Pezzola’s attorney, told the jury Tuesday morning. Pezzola is charged with using a riot shield to punch out a window pane that day. Metcalf asked how a “transfer of brain power” between men who didn’t really know each other resulted in a near-coup on January 6.

The government’s case, Nordean’s defense attorney Nicholas Smith told the jury, was held together by “paper clips and rubber bands.” He warned that any convictions on the conspiracy counts would set a grave precedent. “Is every riot a conspiracy?”

Nah, not at all; only the ones not planned, managed, and perpetrated by Communists are. Those ones aren’t “conspiracies,” “insurrections,” nor even “riots” at all, really. Perish the thought. What those are is “mostly peaceful protests” thrown by “patriots” in defense of “Our Sacred Democracy”—an entirely legitimate exercise of their guaranteed right to free expression and non-violent protest, however much assault and battery, destruction of private property, arson, and looting might occur.

Everything else is fair game for indefinite detention in solitary confinement without benefit of charges, legal counsel, or a swift and fair trial in open court by a jury of their peers. It’s spelled out right there in the US Constitution, clearly and specifically, if you care to look it up yourself. Thus:

But, of course, all government shenanigans are condoned in the courtroom of Judge Timothy J. Kelly. The Trump appointee and former Justice Department lawyer has acted as an extra prosecutor, giving the government near carte blanche discretion in this case. Nearly every ruling leading up to the trial favored the prosecution.

He repeatedly denied the defendants’ release from jail at the Justice Department’s request. As evidence mounted that Trump supporters cannot get a fair trial in the most Democratic city in the country, Kelly refused to move the trial to another jurisdiction.

How these soulless, bought-and-paid-for judges and prosecutors can look at themselves in the bathroom mirror every morning without slitting their own throats from shame and remorse for the unspeakable atrocities they daily commit against all that’s right and decent is way the hell beyond me. Pity not only the J6 victims, but all Real Americans who fall into the clutches of this twisted, evil system.

DeSantis’ popularity cratering among FLA Repugnicunts

Says “several”anonymous GOPe legislators, one anonymous lobbyist, and…a FLA Senate D卐M☭CRAT.

Florida Republican Lawmakers ‘Frustrated’ With DeSantis
Everything in the 2023 legislative session is going as Gov. Ron DeSantis has planned, as the Republican-led legislature is solely pushing through the Governor’s agenda prior to his announcement that he will run for President in 2024.

As we stated before, this is DeSantis’s world and lobbyists, lawmakers, media reporters, and state employees are just living in it.

But just as supporters of Gov.DeSantis’s soon-to-be-announced presidential campaign

Which, despite having been touted as “soon-to-be-announced” for many months now, still hasn’t been, I can’t help but notice.

continue to promote his accomplishments of the past four years, more and more DeSantis-friendly supporters, who have to work with the Florida Legislature, and lawmakers themselves, are starting to expose what could be a chink in the Governor’s armor—his alleged lack of loyalty and selfish legislative agenda.

According to several Republican lawmakers, DeSantis’s push to get his entire agenda passed through the legislature has left the caucus “exhausted” and “frustrated,” echoing the growing sentiment of lobbyists that DeSantis’s specific agenda has allegedly left many issues on the table, not to be heard because they did not conform with his overall agenda.

How unfair, having to buckle down and, y’know, do your fucking jobs. That sound you may be hearing is me playing “Hearts and Flowers” on the world’s tiniest violin, to express my sympathy for your suffering such an awful injustice under this thuggish DeSantis despot.

All of the Republican lawmakers spoke to The Floridian on the basis of anonymity for fear of retribution by the Governor and/or his executive office, but State Senator Jason Pizzo (D!!!) gave a very candid take on the growing concerns within Republican circles.

“It’s all about DeSantis. This place is run by his iron fist,” said Lobbyist X. ” And Didn’t we just elect him to govern for four more years?”

A very “colorful” Pizzo then pivoted his frustration for DeSantis to the state budget, where he claims he “successfully sued DeSantis on the budget, saying that the DeSantis Administration in the “midnight hour” created new policy on immigration.

“Where the f-ck are they? But where are they? You couldn’t find 49 people somewhere in Florida. And while yours and my property insurance is f0-cking exploding, we have $12 million to go blow for private jets,” questioned Pizzo. We don’t fly military vets in private jets from the state of Florida coming back from deployment, but it continues.”

Pizzo is referring to the $12 million dollars allocated in the Florida budget to transport illegal immigrants, and the aforementioned 49 illegals who were flown from the Texas border to Martha’s Vineyard. When he filed the complaint, which was dismissed on technicalities, Florida had already spent $1.56 million on the flights.

Cry me a river, little open-borders D卐M☭CRAT bitch. Then go take yourself a flying fuck at a plate glass window, you and all the rest of your fellow whining, over-entitled ProPol remoras. Shipping a planeload of border-jumping wetbacks to the very heart of Rich Shitlib Playground so as to acquaint the snobbish robber-barons who disport themselves thereabouts with the harsh realities of the policies they so stridently pimp was a genius move, the very epitome of poetic justice.

Admittedly, Ron DeSantis may yet turn out to not be the All-That-And-A-Hot-Fudge-Sundae his more rabid supporters purport him to be; we’re a long way from any final verdict being reached on that one. But crying in your craft beer about his upsetting of the Uniparty applecart to pursue his own agenda probably isn’t a very effective means of rallying Real Americans to your cause, I’m thinking. The people of Florida recently re-elected him—overwhelmingly—to do exactly that, after all.

Reality Deficit Disorder

All just slices of the same nasty, unappetizing pie.

It’s Turtles All the Way Down
The trans crisis is the vax crisis and all the other crises, too. You can’t talk about one piece but not another piece.

The problem is, every crisis is the same crisis, and the trans crisis is the COVID-19 crisis: the same arguments from authority, the same gaslighting, the same strawmanning, the same bad faith, the same coercion, the same attack on family structure. Remember this, the argument from California legislators that it’s OK for children to go get the mRNA vaccines without parental knowledge or consent because they can already do the same with abortions and birth control?

So you have to get the vaccine for your child, or you’re a murderer, because the experts say, and you have to get top surgery and hormones for your child, or you’re a murderer, because the experts say, and all objections are inescapably monstrous. The vaccines are safe and effective, and gender-affirming care is lifesaving medical treatment. Trust the science and comply. We can take bets on how many years it takes to see the first “we should have an amnesty for the proponents of transgender surgery for children” article.

The assault on the body is the assault on the body. The assault on the family is the assault on the family. The medicalization of social reality is stretching out to touch bigger and bigger pieces of your life. Take the pill, bigot, and we’ll shove the other one down your child’s throat for you. You know, for your health.

You can’t talk about one piece but not another piece. The crisis is the crisis. It’s a crisis of “reality debt,” of the increasingly absurd rule by experts, and of the endless recourse to narrative-making maneuvers that reconstruct reality on unsustainable ideological models. Above all, it’s a manufactured crisis that has instrumental force, suggesting over and over again that family is atavistic and an impediment to a healthy society. Consider the possibility that people who keep telling you how much they hate the family mean what they say.

Yet again: not an accident, not a coincidence. Hey, what better way to keep the FUD escalating, to undermine any inclination to resist, than by making Normals as hopelessly cray-cray as Leftards already are?

They lie

Divemedic runs the numbers.

Math, It’s a Thing

A study published this week by the Kaiser Foundation says that 1 in 5 people in the US has a family member who has died after being shot. This is a survey pretending to be science. Let’s do the math. I will even be kind and use the Kaiser foundation’s numbers. (FYI: The Kaiser Foundation is a lefty anti gun pseudoscience think tank)

Averaging the data they publish for the past 21 years, they claim that the annual firearm death rate in the US was 10.75 per 100,000. That equates to 225.75 people per 100,000 over the past 21 years. Or in other words, one person in 445 has died a so-called “gun death” in the past 21 years. Even if you assume that each person killed is from a unique family, for 1 in 5 people to have had a firearm death in their family would mean family sizes of 89 people. The math doesn’t stop there.

The average family size in the US has remained stable at 3.1 people. The statistic is impossible, even if you count grandparents, siblings, cousins, and more. The entire study is pseudoscientific garbage.

With these hoplophobic fascists, you just gotta take that as read from the very beginning. I say again: stop yammering about it and just come and take them already, shitlibs. Let’s all see how that works out for ya in the end.

Orc-elf miscegenation

I won’t belabor the point by excerpting the body of Ace’s post, since D&D is a topic I neither know anything nor give a damp fart about. Nonetheless, there’s something I’d like to make mention of here.

Woke Hasbro/Wizards of the Coast to Replace Half-Elf and Half-Orc Races in Dungeons and Dragons… Claiming That “Half” Races are “Inherently Racist”

Except, of course, when it’s young White women being urged from every corner of the culture to take up coal-burning we’re talking about, that is. Now, THAT sort of race-mixing, the Wokester fucktards all in favor of.

Oh, SNAP

This one has to smart a little. Or it would, if the raddled old soak had a lick of sense. Or, y’know, shame.

Ouch! San Fran Nan resembles that remark.

Via Glenn, who calls it “harsh but fair.” Which, y’know, is perfectly true.

And THEN what?

VDH, bless his poor old heart, recites a long litany of stuff we knew already.

Indict One—And All?
Were the opposition to match tit-for-tat these Democratic means, then the republic would not survive.

Ummm, Victor ol’ buddy ol’ pal, hate to have to be the one to break this to ya and all, but…IT DIDN’T.

It is the revolutionary Left that attacks institutions deemed unhelpful for its current political agenda—one that rarely warrants 50 percent public approval—whether that effort is defined by threats of ending the filibuster, scrapping the Electoral College, adding two more states, packing the court, or radically changing balloting laws and customs to turn elections into a 70 percent no-show of voters on Election Day.

And so on and so forth, etc etc fucking etc. We know what they’ve done, we know why they did it, we know what they’re liable to do next, we know what they hope to accomplish by it; in sum, we know all anyone should ever need to know about them. Happily, Bayou Peter understands the pointless futility of these endless recapitulations—that the only pertinent question at this late date is what, if anything, is to be done about it.

It’s a persuasive argument. If conservative and middle America were to say “So far and no further”, the progressive left would erupt in demonstrations, violence and anarchy, seeking to impose their will by intimidation. Sadly, a great many Americans would be cowed by such uprisings, and prefer to back down rather than risk what might come from such confrontations.

Of course, the only way forward – the only way to stop such progressive machinations – is to accept that risk, and stop them in their tracks. That means accepting the necessity to answer in kind: to meet provocation with resistance, to answer violence with violence. There’s no other way to do it. Gandhi’s non-violent solution worked in India, in a colonial situation, but he wasn’t facing an opponent that welcomed violence and embraced it as a political and social strategy. We are.

Christians, in particular, are going to have to harden their hearts in this regard. It’s very easy to say that we should turn the other cheek, as Christ commanded: but in this case, if we do that, they’ll rip it off, along with the first cheek we turned. The progressive left knows no other approach except intimidation and dominance. Anything less is seen as weakness. That’s why they’ve made so much progress, and they have every intention of continuing their progress until all resistance is at an end.

It’s time to stop them…if necessary, by using their own tactics against them. To begin with, that can be to use the same legal tactics against them that they’ve used against us. If they take that to the next level, well, we can do that too—and we must, or be steamrollered by those with everything at stake and absolutely no inhibitions of conscience.

Precisely, indubitably so. I’ll say this much: if stooping to adopting their own tactics is the absolute worst thing we have to do to end this, we can count ourselves fortunate indeed. Evergreen rerun:

That one ain’t ever getting old. Would that there might come a day when we can all look fondly back on it as no longer immediately relevant, just another well-written and skillfully-acted scene from a fine old movie—as a piece of classic cinema, not an imperative, a most urgent call to arms.

STABILITY NOW, STABILITY NOW!

To tweak a fine old Frank Costanza phrase just a little.

Stability in American politics, as has existed since about 1896, has been maintained by a rough equality in popular support between the two major parties. That equality has never slipped very far. During “landslide” election years, what has mattered most was not the party affiliations of America’s politically involved citizens, but a general sense that one party was “underperforming.” That’s why the key phrase of the Eighties was “Reagan Democrats.”

That stability may be a thing of the past. The reasons are several but easy to understand, once one actually looks past party labels:

  1. Left and Right no longer respect the same core values.
  2. One side no longer concedes the moral legitimacy of the other.
  3. The only bipartisanship in federal politics is about excluding “outsiders.”

Some of that is self-explanatory. “Core values,” which are synonymous with “ultimate goals,” must be shared by the parties to a negotiation if they are to reach an amicable compromise. A writer on negotiation once said during a lecture that “Winning a negotiation is like winning a marriage.” That’s a good way of approaching the matter. Any parley that involves “winning” and “losing” is about arranging a cease-fire, not a compromise.

The aim of the Left these past four decades has been an ever-more-open desire to eliminate the Right as an acceptable political family. That’s a credo of open warfare. It’s a great distance from the attitude that must prevail in a peaceful polity. And of course, that sort of “war footing” on the Left must evoke a matching attitude from the Right, which is slowly coming to be the case.

The total-war attitude comes through in the statements from the leading figures on Left and Right. They have the flavor of eliminationism, the desire to see the other side utterly destroyed and ground into the dust. Along with that goes a “no rules and no limits” mindset that gives rise to amoral tactics, measures of a sort decent persons would regard as foul play, in the drive for victory.

The veneer of “collegiality” in federal politics is easily penetrated, except when the well-established mandarins of both sides band together to exclude those not of “their sort.”

Given the most recent developments, it’s plain that the longstanding symmetry in American politics has been broken. There is no longer peace between the allegiants. There is only the struggle over who shall prevail.

Indeed so. So let’s make sure we win, by any means we must resort to—because the alternative is too horrible to even contemplate.

Hoochie mamaaaa!

If you are in fact a legit hooman bean desirous of registering yourself a CF user name so as to be able to comment only to find yourself caught up as collateral damage in one of my irregularly (un)scheduled sweeps for hinky registration attempts, please shoot me a kite at the email addy over in the right sidebar and let me know so’s I can get ya fixed up manually.

ALSO NOTE: You MUST use a valid, legit email address in order to successfully register, the new anti-spam software I installed last night requires it. My thanks to Barry for all his help sorting this mess out last night.

Comments appear entirely at the whim of the guy who pays the bills for this site and may be deleted, ridiculed, maliciously edited for purposes of mockery, or otherwise pissed over as he in his capricious fancy sees fit. The CF comments section is pretty free-form and rough and tumble; tolerance level for rowdiness and misbehavior is fairly high here, but is NOT without limit.

Management is under no obligation whatever to allow the comments section to be taken over and ruined by trolls, Leftists, and/or other oxygen thieves, and will take any measures deemed necessary to prevent such. Conduct yourself with the merest modicum of decorum, courtesy, and respect and you'll be fine. Pick pointless squabbles with other commenters, fling provocative personal insults, issue threats, or annoy the host (me) and...you won't.

Should you find yourself sanctioned after running afoul of the CF comments policy as stated and feel you have been wronged, please download and complete the Butthurt Report form below in quadruplicate; retain one copy for your personal records and send the others to the email address posted in the right sidebar.

Please refrain from whining, sniveling, and/or bursting into tears and waving your chubby fists around in frustrated rage, lest you suffer an aneurysm or stroke unnecessarily. Your completed form will be reviewed and your complaint addressed whenever management feels like getting around to it. Thank you.
