Bee Doxxed by SPLC scum

Leftard filth, just doing what Leftard filth…does.

This week, the Southern Poverty Law Center published the identities of anonymous staff writers for our sister site, Not the Bee, which covers news so absurd that it seems like satire.

We at The Babylon Bee and Not the Bee remain committed to mocking woke insanity, but this is serious.

The SPLC is a “scandal-ridden, discredited smear factory,” as our CEO Seth Dillon puts it, but government agencies, corporations, and violent leftists still take it seriously.

  • Last year, the FBI used SPLC data to connect traditional Catholics with extremism.
  • In 2020, Amazon relied on the SPLC’s “hate group” designations to disqualify conservative nonprofits from access to customer donations.
  • In 2012, the SPLC’s listing the Family Research Council as a “hate group” inspired a mass shooting plot at their headquarters.

We’ve been deplatformed, demonetized, and now doxxed by the SPLC. We won’t be intimidated, but we need your help to stay on the frontlines of the culture war. The only reason we’ve been able to survive these kinds of attacks is because we’re mostly reader-funded. And that’s where you come in.

Yes, as you’re bound to’ve grokked by now, the above is from a fundraising email the good folks at the Bee kited me; donation/subscription page is here, for any of y’all CF reprobates, scoundrels, and scalawags who might have a spare shekel or two to throw their way.

Seagoing disgrace

Thank God we still have the most powerful, STRAC, well-equipped and -trained, effectively invulnerable military in the world. Right?

RIIIIIGHT?!?

Ummm…yeah, about all that.

Rolling abortion

The late, unlamented Supervee.

The little engine that couldn’t: A short saga of the Super Vee
When it comes to motorcycles, I like the odd ducks.

I prefer ducks that are actually capable of moving under their own power, but maybe that’s just me.

I’m no match, though, for Paul and Joel at American Cycle Fabrication. You might remember Paul as the man who had those $35 Harleys we wrote about. Recently, I meandered by to see what the boys were up to and what curiosities I could turn up. I walked in the door, and sitting on a bench was the mother lode: a Super Vee.

Nothing gets me going like an abstruse piece of motorcycle equipment, so when I saw this engine parked there, I started pushing people and parts out of my way so I could snap a few photos. You see, I’ve heard of Super Vees, but I’d never actually seen one live and in color. The particular one I saw was a third-generation, the final design ever offered for sale — and the rarest. Approximately 45 were ever sold.

Now as a rowdy, uncut stripling, I read all the biker rags religiously: Iron Horse, my all-time fave under David Snow (CAUTION: Fakeberg link) and my dear departed friend Chris Pfouts; Outlaw Biker, for whom I would later toil thanklessly; American Iron, for whom my tight Pittsburgh brother Mike Seate ditto; Easyriders, the granpappy of ‘em all, and entirely righteous back before it began to suck dead donkey dicks (in its glory days, ER once ran a pic of the illustrious Traci Lords [link is related, just scroll down] on the cover, under the preposterous nom de slut “Suzy Softail,” IIRC); Biker Lifestyle, an also-ran publication about which there really ain’t a whole lot to say other than they always seemed to run more titty-pics than any of the aforementioned rags; last and probably least, Steve Iorio’s Supercycle, which eventually became little more than a vehicle for pimping Iorio’s useless PoS Supervee doorstops.

A pic of the monstrosity in its natural habitat: to wit, propped up on a workbench surrounded by the tools with which the poor schlub who got suckered into buying it would attempt to ascertain why the &^%@#%)*!!! it wouldn’t run.

The rest of the sordid story.

So what is a Super Vee?
In 1983, Harley was not selling whole engines to custom bike builders. Steve Iorio, who owned an outfit called Nostalgia Cycle, wasn’t really digging that situation, so the Super Vee concept was born. The idea was to create an engine using cheap, easily available small-block Chevy parts, that could power a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. By 1985, the engines were released for sale. Iorio was so bold as to suggest that he was going to unseat Harley and put them out of business. He felt Harley was putting the screws to the workin’ joe, and the Super Vee was the common man’s way to fight back: Engine parts could be had reliably and very affordably from any GM dealership or aftermarket auto parts house.

Articles published in Supercycle Magazine as early as 1983 helped get the project off the ground. The engine, though primitive, got rave reviews. Nostalgia Cycle even had a phone number customers could call and hear a Super Vee running! Heady stuff for the 1980s. Nostalgia put together a video (which is pretty funny) extolling the virtues of the new mill. Take a peek. (Bonus points for the first reader to count how many times the narrator says “American.”)

Everything seemed hunky dory, but there were a few problems. First, did you notice in that video that you never hear the engine settle into an idle? That seems a bit strange, right? Secondly, Supercycle was published by the same guy who owned Nostalgia Cycle, Steve Iorio. Steve had dabbled quite a bit in the motorcycle industry. Those initials may be familiar to some — he used to produce springers under the company name SIE, and hung out with Dick Allen, a motorcycle legend in his own right.

Ol’ Steve also went by a few aliases, including “Steve Nelson.” In fact, you can read a lovely article the Los Angeles Times wrote about him — using his fake name! The biggest, most glaring problem with Iorio was his character. The biggest, most glaring problem about the Super Vee was its near-universal reputation of being a complete piece of shit.

For those of you who have never purchased a crate engine, let me fill you in on how the process works. You buy the engine, and sometimes you have to install an ignition and a carb. That’s about it. Install it, and hit the starter button.

The Super Vee was different. It did not run well, if at all. Mating Harley-esque cases to a General Motors rotating assembly presented problems. Critical engine parts didn’t always receive enough oil, yet most Super Vees puked plenty outside the engine. In many cases, engines required some disassembly and some additional machining. Many of the engines required an overhaul simply because of awful quality control during manufacture.

The gruesome saga of Iorio’s exorbitantly overpriced bastard-baby carries on from there; it’s a truly gripping read for any dyed in the wool gearhead-type weirdo, past or present. Won’t do much to bolster one’s naive, childlike faith in the fundamental decency of humanity, I’m afraid. But hey, dem’s da breaks, laddie-buck.

Update! Another aspect of the Iorio melodrama I thought might be worth a mention: I also spent a fair few simoleons on Nostalgia Cycle parts for my trusty old Shovelhead FLH over the decade or so I owned and rode her, mostly at swap meets and such-like dens of iniquity.

I quickly learned that those Nostalgia Cycle (universally reviled amongst my fellow CLT-area scooter trash as “Nostalgia Psycho”) geegaws and gimcracks were without exception El Cheapo crap: flimsy, soft-rubber handlebar bushings; bolt-ons which couldn’t be bolted on thanks to mis-aligned mounting holes; “stainless steel” engine hardware dress-up kits that were neither stainless nor steel; points that didn’t fire, plugs that didn’t spark, filters that didn’t filter, external oil hard-lines without any holes drilled in ‘em; “high flow” oil pumps with no pump gear, etc. etc.

The chrome on all those fancy-shmancy covers—battery, nose cone, breather, primary, drive chain, coil, &c—would begin to blister, flake, and/or peel within no more than two (2) days of the first time it got wet. I was never much of a chrome-cover guy myself—I was more inclined to remove all that shit, box it up, and store it in the remotest corner of the garage. I vastly preferred the lean, mean, bare-knuckle brawler look, as exemplified by my stripped-nekkid, hellaciously fast, screamin’ demon 06 Sporty:

Custom Hot Rod Flatz paint in Desert Sand (hand-sprayed at the shop by Goose, hand-striped and -lettered by the legendary Eddie Brown, Fender motor-mount bottle opener by yrs truly); wrapped header-pipes; no front or rear belt cover; not a single extraneous piece of chrome anywhere that wasn’t factory-installed—what can I say? Except that I surely do miss that sweet, nasty little bitch.

Anyways. Every last bit of Nostalgia Psycho’s teetotal junk, mind, was made from pure Chineseum© in an era when such foreign-parts profanations were strictly verboten—taboo to any self-respecting Milwaukee Iron aficionado, for which unthinking sacrilege the Harley Gods would surely smite down the blasphemer with a quickness. Suffice it to say, after getting bitten like that a cpl-three times, my days of throwing money down the Nostalgia sewer drain were O-V-E-R over.

Updated update! Awright, awright, awright, quitcher crying, ya sissy-Marys; more righteous photos of my beautiful, decidedly non-shiny Sporty below the fold. Although I’ve described her verbally/textually here before, I don’t believe I ever did post any pics, for whatever bizarre reason.

And, hilariously, answered.

For her own part, Mace has plenty to say about this, bless her heart, and says it extremely well too.

Fucking murderous, psychotic freak. One more blast from the esteemed Ms Mace.

Hijinks in liberated Churmany

Down Under blogosphere phenom David Thompson is another from the John Wilder school of bloggery: a gifted writer with plenty of worthwhile things to say and excellent points to make who is damned near impossible to excerpt effectively without doing real violence to the post it came from. Theirs is a long-form style which is densely packed, taut as a snare-drum head, with a punch like a George Foreman haymaker. As Salieri said of Mozart in Amadeus, omit a single note and the entire work would be diminished; omit a single measure and the entire structure must fall. So if you find it puzzling that I don’t excerpt Thompson very often, well, now you understand.

After all, what could possibly go wrong when housing with women a mentally ill man who likes to hold knives to women’s throats before stealing their footwear, and hoarding said footwear for sexual purposes? A man who delights in stalking women, assaulting them, and waving his tallywhacker at mothers with their young daughters.

A man who is referred to in the German media, somewhat surreally, as a woman, a she-person, despite being identified via the very male genetic material left at the scenes of his crimes.

Oh, and should you be concerned about the whereabouts of all those stolen items, fear not:

The defendant now hoards hundreds of boots and handbags in a large number of boxes; she had even taken her treasures with her to prison, where they were stored.

Her treasures, obligingly stored.

See what I mean, gang? Both Thompson and Wilder are longtime standbys of Ye Aulde CF Blogrolle, and we’re fortunate indeed to have ‘em therein. If you aren’t reading them on the regular, you’re missing out on something mighty good.

Threat, or promise?

I do not think that MAGA Americans are going to find this “threat” quite as dismaying as they seem to expect we will.

OhNoAnyway sm.

I like this one well enough that I’m thinking I may re-run it with tomorrow’s Eyrie post, maybe.

However much popcorn you have, it ain’t enough

Shitlib meltdowns: we’ve all seen ‘em, we all love ‘em, we’ve all laughed ourselves silly over ‘em, we all look forward to plenty more of ‘em in the days (years, hopefully) to come. Now Newsbusters collects the cream of the crud…SO FAR. One which I think is a particularly outstanding example of the genre:

“This is about a huge portion of our population who rejected the current system and what we have to solve for is why. We are the most prosperous and powerful nation in the world. This country is winning. I want to know why so many people in this country are feeling like we’re losing. Whether it is the economy, immigration, or for lack of a better term, ‘wokism’, we have now let misinformation become the accepted information. It has washed over us. Elon Musk, he buys Twitter and then he uses it almost exclusively to be a propaganda machine and we’ve accepted it. We’ve accepted a narrative that despite an actually great economic recovery, the vibes don’t feel good. So we want to reject it and get something else. And the person we are now betting on to change all of it is Donald Trump, a man who did two almost impossible things. He won the American presidency twice and he drove a casino into the ground. What will the future hold now that America has just decided we’re going to F around and find out?”

— Host Stephanie Ruhle on MSNBC’s The 11th Hour, November 6.

As is typical for these shrieking hysterics, not a single word of the above (beyond the first line) is actually, y’know, true. Yes, including “and” and “the.”

Did this pathetic lush REALLY just say “cognitive degeneration”?

Seems like, yeah. Kudos for making the effort and all, Granny Boxwine, even if you couldn’t quite pull it off in the end.

Watching this, one could almost feel sorry for the raddled, failing, demented old haint. Almost.

Lies, damned lies, statistics…

And the Atlantic liberal-propaganda rag.

Atlantic Writer Claims Trump Got Angry at Paying for Soldier’s Funeral, Deceased’s Sister Responds
You really do not hate journalists enough.

Some guy named Jeffrey Goldberg at the Atlantic recently shoveled out another Trump Derangement Syndrome screed, claiming Le Bad Orange Man got angry at the bill for a deceased soldier’s funeral that he offered to pay for back in 2020, which reportedly cost $60,000.

For additional context: Spc. Vanessa Guillén was murdered in Fort Hood, Texas, by a fellow soldier in April of 2020. Ryan McCarthy, who was Secretary of the Army at the time, investigated her murder. President Trump expressed his condolences to the family and hosted them at the White House, offering to pay for the funeral.

Here is where the story starts sounding like it was made up:

In an Oval Office meeting on December 4, 2020, officials gathered to discuss a separate national-security issue. Toward the end of the discussion, Trump asked for an update on the McCarthy investigation. Christopher Miller, the acting secretary of defense (Trump had fired his predecessor, Mark Esper, three weeks earlier, writing in a tweet, “Mark Esper has been terminated”), was in attendance, along with Miller’s chief of staff, Kash Patel. At a certain point, according to two people present at the meeting, Trump asked, “Did they bill us for the funeral? What did it cost?”

According to attendees, and to contemporaneous notes of the meeting taken by a participant, an aide answered: Yes, we received a bill; the funeral cost $60,000.

Trump became angry. “It doesn’t cost 60,000 bucks to bury a f***ing Mexican!” He turned to his chief of staff, Mark Meadows, and issued an order: “Don’t pay it!” Later that day, he was still agitated. “Can you believe it?” he said, according to a witness. “F***ing people, trying to rip me off.”

Goldberg at least had the honesty (shocking, I know) to say that Trump spokesperson Alex Pfeiffer denied that this event happened, saying, “President Donald Trump never said that. This is an outrageous lie from The Atlantic two weeks before the election.”

Mark Meadows, Trump’s Chief of Staff at the time, is also calling the story fake, saying he was in the room when this “incident” happened:

I was in the discussions featured in the Atlantic’s latest hit piece against President Trump. Let me say this.

Any suggestion that President Trump disparaged Ms. Guillen or refused to pay for her funeral expenses is absolutely false.

He was nothing but kind, gracious, and wanted to make sure that the military and the U.S. government did right by Vanessa Guillen and her family.

Of course, one might expect Trump staffers to take up for their boss, rightly or wrongly; thus, including them in his hate-piece is Goldberg’s not-quite-clever way of inoculating himself against accusations of bias, which would be entirely accurate. But what does the grieving sister of the deceased have to say about it? Nothing whatsoever good for Goldberg and his fellow Atlantic liars.

Pretty much dispositive, I’d say. Like the man says, no matter how much you hate them, you don’t hate them enough. You couldn’t, really, it isn’t possible to.

I’M MELTING!

What a world, what a world.

Heh. I slay me. Original image swiped from Ace. Remember, kids, this is what downing a fifth of rotgut vodka—straight shots, no chaser—before lunchtime every day can do to a person. Admittedly, it does make advancing one’s career via blowing one’s boss a bit more, umm, palatable, shall we say. But still.

Mittens Romneycare, confirmed coward

Poor widdle dear says he’s afwaid of the big bad MAGA monster lurking under his bed, and personally, I’m GLAD he is, the punk-ass pissypants. Putting the skeer on Uniparty Fauntleroys like Romneycare and then keeping the skeer on ‘em is the first step in putting things to rights in this fallen nation. Or as right as they’re ever gonna be again, at least.

The Fear That’s Keeping Mitt Romney From Endorsing Harris
Republican Senator Mitt Romney, who has said he would not vote for Donald Trump, has expressed some reticence about endorsing Trump’s opponent over a particularly grim worry.

The Washington Post reported Friday that Romney has cited concern for his family’s safety as one of the reasons he has not publicly supported Kamala Harris, according to one person familiar with the Utah politician’s thinking.

Link is to Ed Driscoll’s Instapundit post, not the original item in the New Republic. Because fuck those shitlibtards, that’s why.

Missing person

That would be one Mr Darius “Sweetdick” Honeycum Esq, currently being sought by US Marshals who would like to have a quiet word about God only knows what. Have they checked under Ass Slangin’ Fani’s bed yet?

There is currently a major manhunt underway by US Marshals for Nathan Wade, the former Fulton County investigator and DA Fani Willis’s lover.

Jesse Watters broke the news Thursday evening on FOX News.

Jesse Watters: Lover boy, Nathan Wade is missing. The House Judiciary Committee, which is investigating Georgia DA Fannie Willis, needs Wade to testify at a hearing tomorrow on their love affair. But no one can find the guy. They’re trying to serve him, but he’s flown the coop, and now the US marshals are in a manhunt to track him down.

“The committee issued the subpoena on Friday, attempted to serve the subpoena to Nathan Wade’s lawyer, who declined, and subsequently the committee tried to serve the subpoena via email through Nathan Wade himself, never heard back. As a result, the committee had to use the assistance of the U.S. Marshals, who have also not been able to find Nathan Wade,” Russell Dye, a spokesman for the committee, told Newsweek on Wednesday evening.

Nathan Wade, previously a special prosecutor in the election interference case against former President Donald Trump in Georgia, has gone missing.

Yet TRUMP is supposed to be the “threat to democracy” somehow, not these sleaze-slurping reprobates. Please see the previous post for more on this; oh, you better bet it’s related, all to hell and gone it is.

Endless this war

Remember, it’s not “election interference” when THEY do it—in YOUR faces, using YOUR tax dollars, with THEIR bought and paid for D卐M☭CRAT-ATM dwarf.

Ukraine’s Zelensky Used U.S. Military Assets To Campaign For Harris in Pennsylvania
Zelensky’s visit with Harris surrogates in Pennsylvania comes one day after The New Yorker published an interview in which he criticized Trump and Vance.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky appeared to use U.S. military assets to campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris on a visit to battleground state Pennsylvania on Monday.

On another trip to ask the U.S. government for money and munitions, Zelensky toured a Pennsylvania ammunition plant with Gov. Josh Shapiro, a prominent Kamala Harris surrogate, and other Democrats, including Sen. Bob Casey. Zelensky arrived in Scranton, Pennsylvania (President Joe Biden’s oft-referenced birthplace), aboard a U.S. Air Force C-17, images of which he used to advertise his visit. In a message recorded from the inside the aircraft, Zelensky noted, “This fall will determine what’s next in this war.”

“Zelensky is in Pennsylvania today, signing bombs with Gov. Shapiro. Zelensky is also attacking J.D. Vance in the biggest, most important battleground state in the country during an election year,” Sean Parnell, former Pennsylvania Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, said at a Trump rally Monday. “Folks, if that ain’t foreign election interference, I don’t know what is.”

“Trump makes political statements in his election campaign,” Zelensky said. “My feeling is that Trump doesn’t really know how to stop the war even if he might think he knows how,” Zelensky added [emphasis original]. “With this war, oftentimes, the deeper you look at it the less you understand. I’ve seen many leaders who were convinced they knew how to end it tomorrow, and as they waded deeper into it, they realized it’s not that simple.”

Oh, I dunno, Smurfette, I betcha he does know at least one simple, sure-fire way to end it. To wit: shutting off the US money, munitions, and materiel spigot oughta do the trick quite nicely, I believe.

Update! The Bee knows, same as I do, you do, Trump does, and everybody else.

Democrats Invite Foreign Leader To Meddle In U.S. Elections
SCRANTON, PA — Democrats celebrated as foreign leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited an ammunition factory in the hotly contested swing state of Pennsylvania to meddle in U.S. elections.

The Ukrainian President was quick to publicly throw his support behind Kamala Harris while placing his signature on artillery rounds.

“If Donald Trump wins in November, he will end the war, and also my generous allowance of billions from the United States,” said Zelenskyy. “Ukraine represents democracy and stuff. And Russia stands for not democracy or whatever. So a vote for Trump means you hate democracy. I am proud to endorse Kamala Harris, and I will prove my support by laundering millions of dollars I received from the U.S. government through various third parties until they end up in Democrat super PACs. It’s the least I can do for democracy.”

Democrats were enthusiastic about the endorsement. “We’re very glad this foreign leader has chosen to meddle in our democracy,” said Governor Josh Shapiro while placing his signature on various deadly weapons. “We invite other countries to meddle with our democracy on behalf of Democrats in order to save democracy.”

At publishing time, Zelenskyy had been spotted in Philadelphia filling out mail-in ballots.

Is that last bit real, or is it satire? Who the hell can even tell anymore.

Non-event announcement

From non-persons Dick Cheney et fille, pumping up their Real True Conservative bona fides with an endorsement of the Kummiemala Harris/Tim “Tamponz 4 Boyz!” Walz Hell-ticket.

I thought Cheney was an homme sérieux. But, in the end, he wasn’t. The Bush years have to be accounted a terrible failure, in which the leadership of the then dominant superpower was unable to grasp the simplest of truths – not least about the need for strategic clarity. Under Cheney, America launched wars with no war aims, in which it deluded itself that “smart bombs” counted for more than will. Meanwhile, on the home front, the rate of Muslim immigration to America doubled…because it was more important to show the world how nice we are than to consider the cultural consequences of demographic transformation. So the west spent twenty years fighting over the most barren and worthless sod on the planet, while surrendering Malmö and Marseille, Rotterdam and Nottingham, and Lewiston-Auburn, Maine. This is what happens when you have a political class almost entirely disconnected from the rhythms of real life in real countries.

So Trump has performed a great service in driving the likes of Cheney to vote Kamala. The feeble charade of TweedleDem vs TweedleRep is designed to obscure the central fact of end-stage western “democracy” – that, on anything that really matters, nothing can be permitted to change. Thus, having Dick Cheney and Ilhan Omar formally on the same team is very helpful. Trump has driven the “respectable” political class to make the Uniparty literal, and its consolidation has freed up space for an actual second party. (On his recent podcast, my former National Review colleague John Derbyshire has more on this.)

For most of this century, while the “right” shrivelled conservatism to unwon wars, globalist economics and cultural surrender, the voters kept telling the political class they would like a wider choice on Election Day. Hence, eventually, even in the frozen American system, the coming of Trumpism. Whatever happens after November, there are no takers among the GOP base for a return to Bush-Cheney “conservatism”.

As for the no-greater-threat-to-our-republic bollocks, it’s just a few weeks since a would-be assassin put a bullet through the ear of the alleged greatest threat. That day provided a telling contrast – between Trump’s defiance in immediately rising to his feet and raising his fist…and Bush on 9/11 being hustled off while in the middle of reading My Pet Goat to a roomful of grade-schoolers and then agreeing to Secret Service demands that he spend the rest of the day on Air Force One being shuttled from one “safe” location to another and thereby rendering himself entirely invisible to the American people.

Be that as it may, it quickly became clear – not least through multiple lies and obfuscations in Congressional testimony – that the Secret Service and other elements in the federal government created the conditions that permitted that bullet to hit a former president in the head (and kill an American citizen). And that’s putting it at its mildest: even after the shooting was underway, it was a local copper – not the feds – who was the first to fire back and hit the alleged perp.

Consider the implications of that, especially if you’re the family of Corey Comperatore. That’s a far “greater threat to our republic” than the man those corrupted alphabet agencies failed to protect. Cheney is contemptible.

Indeed he is, and the sourest realization of all is that he is by no means alone in that amongst his Ruling Class confreres.

The only thing at all shocking about this is how entirely NOT shocking it is. Still think I’m in any way kidding around, hyperbolizing, or exaggerating for effect when I call them The Enemy and/or say “kill them ALL,” prithee tell?

Sure, I could chase my tail pointing out that the overwhelming majority of abortions are not the result of rape but of using abortion as an alternate, last-ditch form of birth control, but I refuse to waste my time shouting at brick walls.
