The last free state

Looks like Florida has more going for it than just Ron DeSantis.

Exclusive — Florida Surgeon General Ladapo: ‘We Can Expect More of the Same and Worse’ if People Don’t Speak Up Against Mandates
Americans can only expect “more of the same and worse” in terms of coercive coronavirus mandates if people do not begin standing up and speaking out, Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview on Friday.

“I really think that people do need to stand up and stand for what they believe to be true,” Florida’s surgeon general said when asked what advice he would give to Americans who are facing mandates which could potentially impact their lives and livelihoods.

“I mean, I think that unfortunately, part of the reason we’ve gotten to a place now where people who once said on the record that you couldn’t force people to take vaccine for COVID-19 are now saying the opposite thing —  that in fact not only can you, you should force people to take this vaccine — I think that … part of the reason that has happened is because enough people have not been outspoken about their rights,” Ladapo said. “So I think that these medical decisions are for people to make. I think that goes from everything from masks mandates to now these vaccinate mandates and vaccine passports.”

“And I think that if people who don’t agree that that’s the appropriate approach, policy approach, the appropriate health policy approach, to these problems, if they don’t speak up, we can expect more of the same and worse,” he predicted. “I think this is the time for people to speak up.”

Ladapo claimed that such policies have “worsened racial and ethnic disparities” but expressed his belief that the motives are “not about health.”

“It promotes division, and what’s worse is that it basically demonstrates no respect for human rights and human autonomy and the right for people to make health decisions, which they really do have,” he said, explaining that some public health officials have successfully convinced Americans that “they don’t have permission to make decisions about their health.”

Lots more from Lapado at the link, all of it pure gold. Never in my darkest dreams did I ever think that A) this sadly fallen nation would plummet so deeply into the hellish sinkhole of authoritarian tyranny that opinions and beliefs such as these—once commonly held, those beliefs being part of the philosophical framework of the now-deceased Republic and all—would come to sound radical and outrageous; and 2) Florida, of all places, would be the only US state left with officials who proudly advocate and govern based on those beliefs, thereby establishing itself as the last bastion of American liberty.

TL’s letter to Congress

He could’ve stopped with the first two sentences as far as I’m concerned. First word, really.

Open letter to Congress

Resign. It’s the only way out.

The dark winter is coming and the diabolical bills you’ve passed will be the end of your career. You’ve flouted fiduciary responsibility for the people’s money and enslaved them with debt. Already, the spending bills you passed as Covid relief, that largely helped every other nation but your own, every other people but your own, are driving inflation to unsustainable levels, the likes of which only Venezuela has seen and because of the same policies. The infrastructure bill that put in place communistic programs and restrictive laws while offering only one third of it to actual infrastructure, will ensure that rival communist nations will benefit far more from them than our own people, destroying jobs here and making jobs there. Thirteen Republicans voted for that, who are not only traitors to their oaths, but opportunists and political hacks.

Not one bit of it accident or coincidence, all of it purposefully and maliciously done.

Only a handful of you legally occupy the seats of the House and Senate. Some are frauds through election tampering, some are frauds through a violation of the oath of office, some are frauds through bribery and corruption. Is that why you refuse to look at election integrity when 52% of the people believe the election was tainted? Fifty-two percent isn’t enough to get Republicans to embrace a national audit, not a recount, a forensic audit? You refer to this as a “democracy” over and over, yet you ignore the mandate for these audits by democratic means.

You wonder why the people think you are cowards and frauds? Democrats should be as interested in an actual accounting of that obviously flawed and illegal election, because it is their legitimacy on the line as much as Republicans. More so, because they are accused of the criminal activities that allowed it, but they are silent. Is it because they are guilty?

Yes—either because they’re complicit, or because they tacitly approve.

You have left the border open, numerous times refusing to complete the wall, allowing border agents to be used as abettors to criminal activity violating the laws otherwise passed by better congresses. You have made National Guard units to abet those same crimes. Meanwhile wholesale crossings continue and the word has gotten out to the world. Document dumps on the Mexican side of the border reveal people from India, Malaysia, Iraq and several other nations. There is no vetting and a great deal of the lawlessness is child-sex trafficking, but your voices are silent, watching in amusement, I suppose, while those you have impoverished watch as jobs disappear and what tax dollars they pay go to sustain and payoff those wreaking havoc on our southern border towns. You have allowed this administration to bus them all across the nation. What spending bill allowed that? Where is the money coming from, if not from you, the sole origination of spending bills?

There is no forgiveness, because we, the American people, handed you a strong nation, a powerful nation, a wealthy nation and you squandered it for self-aggrandizement and power. It now suffers from an energy crisis when only nine months ago it was self-sufficient. It now suffers from empty shelves, when nine months ago they were full. It now suffers from a worker shortage in hospitals, transportation and construction, because the fraudulently installed Joe Biden decided that there would be a “vaccine” mandate that has been ruled unconstitutional by the Fifth Circuit, because there is no “dire emergency” in America except that it suffers from a corrupt congress and a pathetically incompetent and tyrannical administration.

At this point, forgiveness ought to be the last thing on every Real American mind. The primary ideas on them instead should be vengeance, retribution, and justice; forgiveness can be granted only after those things have all been properly meted ought.

You have allowed the Department of Justice to threaten parents over speaking out against the racist Critical Race Theory curriculum in schools, mask mandates and transgender policies that anyone with common sense knew would result in rapes of young girls in school bathrooms and when it did, you did not speak out for parents and demand a stop to it, or even an investigation, or pass legislation that would stop it. No, you sat there in your publicly funded chairs and counted your campaign cash.

This letter is not in defense of Republicans, nor aimed at Democrats, but rather at the whole of the congress which, from any rational assessment is corrupt, illegitimate and dangerous to the safety and welfare of the people.

Every word a gem, every word perfectly true and beyond dispute. You should read each and every one of them, of course. Above all, Congress should too, and would if they were anything like as smart as they think they are, if only so as to inform themselves of what’s coming for them. But they aren’t, they won’t, so come it will, I suspect sooner than anyone really expects.

Screwed, blued, and tattooed

As my one and only post so far on the topic made pretty clear, I am nothing like as sanguine about the chances of True American Hero Kyle Rittenhouse being accorded any semblance of justice from his persecution-by-law as a great many of my esteemed colleagues seem to be. The mistake my more-optimistic colleagues of mine are making, in my view, is one I’ve brought up hereabouts before—a mistake so common that even I sometimes don’t pick up on it right away myself. This malady consists of estimating the outcome of specified events, actions, or policies based wholly on an incorrect assumption, the defective assumption or premise itself being the product of a habit of mind so deeply embedded in the thinking of many if not most of us that those affected by it maybe don’t even realize what’s going on, or how the closely-entwined mental processes work together to lead their victim astray. Both habit and assumption are incredibly difficult to rid oneself of, particularly since so many simply don’t want to. An attempt to bring the topic up for discussion with someone in the subset of people who are completely unaware of the self-generated delusion could conceivably provoke red hot anger, perhaps even physical violence, in reactions.

And really, I’m more or less okay with what we might label the American Reality Dysfunction; after all, the assumption a pleasant, soothing one, certainly no crime or transgression. Even though en masse indulgence of this cozy delusion might prove costly in the long run, disastrous even, it also serves at least one useful purpose: it must eventually lead to sober reflection regarding precisely what kind of country this now is; what kind of country it was, and was NOT, intended to be; why it was designed the way it was; how drastic the transformation has been, and what ought to be done about it.

The habit, the pattern of thought I refer to here, of course, is the assumption that this country, as grotesquely butchered, battered, and chawed-up as it is, is nonetheless still fundamentally the same dear old America we all grew up in and cherished. There are quite a few issues where this little mental hiccup leads some astray; applied to the Rittenhouse trial, it demands that the demonic farce must surely end justly, fairly, and reasonably, with integrity and fidelity to the core principles of our legal system diligently honored and upheld by all who administrate it, manage it, and sustain it. For those more powerfully infected by this mental-error virus, how could it possibly be otherwise? The evidence supporting acquittal on all charges is as abundant as it is compelling. In the eyes of America That Was, the kid did absolutely nothing wrong, and quite a bit right.

Alas, this is NOT that country, and this trial is NOT being held in one of its courtrooms, adjudicated and presided over by the kind of people who, though certainly imperfect, nonetheless still believe America to be a nation of laws and not men. Who loved their country and revered its bedrock ideals. Whose rage on discovering the systemic corruption and debasement of the legal system entire would be a fearful thing indeed.

Nope—not that country, not that courtroom, not those people. There are incontestably two sets of laws today; one that applies exclusively to the Left’s revered totems, icons, and heros (Mid Level), officially approved Pet Victim Groups and/or perpetual dependents (Bottom-Level), and the wealthy, famous, and/or politically connected (Top-Level). Then we have the much colder, grimmer, more ruthless one used to punish, cow, and ruin beyond hope of redemption the unenlightened, savage, intolerable Deplorables like poor Kyle Rittenhouse. Which is to say, y’know, ALL OF US.

So yeah, could be I’ve reached Peak Cynical at this point, I think. Which has left me unimpressed by the jubilee of celebration each apparent blunder by the prosecution over the last week brought on, and likewise leaves me unsurprised by this development.

Up until Friday, the Kyle Rittenhouse trial was very clear: easily understood videos and witness testimony (including testimony from the prosecution witnesses) showed that Kyle, despite trying hard to avoid conflict, was attacked by a crazed child rapist, whom Kyle shot as the rapist was grabbing Kyle’s gun, at which point a mob went after Kyle. He then shot and killed a domestic abuser trying to bash his head in with a skateboard, and shot and wounded a felon aiming a loaded, illegal gun at his head. On Thursday, however, the court allowed prosecutors to enter into evidence a fuzzy photo from a late-produced drone, an image prosecutors argue shows Kyle “provoking” the attacks against him. Provocation destroys Kyle’s assertion that he acted in self-defense.

Andrew Branca explains how well the prosecution did on Friday. The “unicorn” evidence that the prosecutors successfully fought to get admitted is the drone footage that they just coincidentally found at the last minute before the trial. According to the prosecution, an incredibly fuzzy photo that was computer-enhanced (meaning that A.I. made “educated” guesses about where pixels should go) shows Kyle pointing his gun at Joshua Ziminski, who fired the first shot that saw Rosenbaum, who had earlier threatened to kill Kyle, chase the boy.

The problem for Kyle is that, under Wisconsin law (as is the case under most states’ laws), a person who provokes an attack may not then claim self-defense. If the jury accepts the drone footage as showing Kyle threatening people with the gun, then it was he who triggered (pun intended) all subsequent events, including his shooting three people. However, Wisconsin law also holds that even if someone provokes things, if he withdraws from the fight but pursuit continues, he can regain the self-defense privilege. In that regard, much of the footage shows Kyle desperately running away.

The drone video, of course, is just something for the jury to hang its hat on. The case was always going to boil down to the claim that Kyle provoked the attack merely by showing up at a “protest” with a gun. The gun itself was a provocation as far as the left is concerned, and that was a point that the defense repeatedly tried to make through the trial.

Writing at PJ Media, Victoria Taft explains that, in more bad news for Kyle’s defense, the judge allowed the prosecutors to add several lesser charges to the more serious charges already pending against Kyle. This is disastrous for Kyle because it allows the jurors — who are fully aware of the baying mob that will greet them outside the courthouse and follow them to their homes — to assuage their consciences by finding Kyle guilty of the lesser charges. He’ll still go to prison but not for life. Of course, once in prison, unless he’s kept in solitary, his life will probably be short.

What happened to Kyle is just one more piece of the leftist politicization of law in America.

…All of these were and are purely political prosecutions aimed at destroying the Democrats’ political opponents. With the mob pushing on one side (and invariably getting a pass from government institutions) and the government itself pushing on the other side, conservatives are getting squeezed out of the public square. Social media silence them, the political institutions criminalize them, and the mob physically threatens them. As General Flynn said on Tucker Carlson’s Friday show, this cannot and will not end well.

More precisely, it won’t end well for the losers. The winners, on the other hand, will be more or less okay with how things worked out.

I read Andrew Branca’s scholarly breakdown cited by Andrea above, the very first of Branca’s minutely-detailed series on the Rittenhouse show-trial I bothered to take a look at. It’s actually very, very good, albeit completely depressing, seeing as how Andrews’ most recent analysis strongly suggests a bleak outcome for young Master Rittenhouse is in the offing. While I’d be most happy to be proven wrong, I fully expect Rittenhouse to be convicted on at least one or two of the non-crimes he’s spuriously charged with. Perhaps the jury will convict using the lesser-charges ploy as Branca carefully cautions, but still plenty enough to destroy an innocent youth’s future prospects for the rest of his life. Charged, tried, convicted, sentenced, and imprisoned is the way to bet—all for actions that, in a better, less twisted and corrupt nation, wouldn’t even be crimes at all. A true obscenity is unfolding in the state of Winsconsin, right before our very eyes.

The trial of Kyle Rittenhouse will be over in a few short days, a senseless ordeal perpetrated by a lawless, cruel State acting far outside the civilizing boundaries of moral authority, common sense, human decency, and a sense of propriety and justice so completely out of whack that if it was compass, the needle would be spinning so fast it would be visibly smoking, the metal case so hot you couldn’t hold it in your hand without raising a blister. No matter how the revolting farce concludes, there will likely be trouble following in its wake. If Kyle is acquitted—which I just can’t see happening without Divine intervention, and I mean that quite literally—the Left will surely go all feral again, as is their savage wont. The thing that matters most when the riots and the looting and the gang-beatings, along with all the usual trimmings which are de rigeur whenever the Left doesn’t get their way is not so much that they do all that, but whether normal folks have gotten so fed up with their adolescent horseshit that they’re just not willing to put up with yet another round of it, rising up to meet the Enemy on the mean streets to put an end to it.

Should Kyle be found guilty—and trust me, barring that miracle I mentioned before, he will be regardless of what the law tells you; what the material evidence tells you; what your own eyes and ears tell you; what the nature and conduct of the conniving DA’s, the vicious, half-bright, duplicitous dregs of society they called as witnesses to make their halfassed and reprehensible case for them, and the fiendish curs yapping and snarling with primal fury when the defense team seemed to score a point, anybody at all dared to express so much as mild dissent from their anti-Kyle, antigun, anti-American, anti-propriety and virtue, anti-civil order canon—what all that tells you about just who it is that any properly ordered society would correctly feel were the ones who should actually be denied all further contact with upstanding people—through involuntary confinement within securely-locked cages, tucked deep inside sturdy walls which are patrolled continuously by squads of armed, well-trained, and watchful guards—for purposes of protecting said society from the irredeemable predators who would make them their prey, destroying every last inspiring, beautiful, or ennobling thing created by far, far better men than themselves, men who desired to make some constructive contribution to their society. Structures, adornments, and artworks which the predators would wantonly smash, burn, or otherwise desecrate if they’re foolishly allowed the freedom to do so?

I’ll repeat what I’ve already said after all too many similar injustices: I deeply and sincerely wish young Kyle had ended every goddamned one of these animals, and plenty more of their ideological and ethical litter-mates besides. I find it a crying shame that this Grosskreutz excrescence survived, although it’s no small compensation to know that the filthy bastard will suffer excrutiating pain and significant physical impairment for the rest of his days. What we desperately need is one hell of a lot more Kyle Rittenhouses, and one hell of a lot fewer Gaige Grosskreutzes. As I stated in the immediate aftermath of the righteous Rittenhouse rat-shoot: Rittenhouse is a hero, not least for providing an example worth emulating and showing us the way forward.

Kill. Them. ALL. God will surely know His own, and straight to Hell with the rest.

When mutiny is the only honorable choice

Then mutiny it must be.

The Pentagon Sees Its First National Guard Unit Mutiny Over the Federal Vaccine Mandate
The first state National Guard unit has made itself clear to the Department of Defense it has no intention of enforcing its Covid-19 vaccine mandate.

“The Oklahoma National Guard has rejected the Defense Department’s requirement for all service members to receive the coronavirus vaccine and will allow personnel to sidestep the policy with no repercussions, a potential blueprint for Republican governors who have challenged Biden administration mandates,” the Washington Post reported.

“Brig. Gen. Thomas Mancino, appointed this week by Gov. Kevin Stitt (R) as adjutant of the state’s 10,000 National Guard soldiers and airmen, on Thursday notified those under his command that they are not required to receive the vaccine and won’t be punished if they decline it,” the report added.
“It’s an extraordinary refusal of Pentagon policy and follows Stitt’s written request to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin seeking suspension of the requirement for Guard personnel in the state,” the report noted.

“We will respond appropriately,” John Kirby, a Pentagon spokesperson, said of Stitt’s letter.

Oh, that’s the one thing we can all be one hundred percent certain you WON’T do. Because, having witnessed repeated demonstrations of you and all your fellow treasonous Puzzle Palace colleagues’ infinitely malleable “principles”; the oath legally binding all who take it to defend and uphold the US Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, an oath no one in Mordon on the Potomac has any intention of honoring even as they’re poking out their forked tongues to speak the words; and your badly-broken conception of what words like honor, patriotism, duty, and integrity actually mean, it is entirely obvious that your understanding of what might constitute an “appropriate” response is a hot mess as well.

These brave and righteous Real Soldiers standing up like the real American men they certainly are to refuse patently illegal orders issued by slimy, slithery creatures such as Kirby IS the appropriate response. How it must terrify and enrage all the foul Black Uruks sworn to the service of the Barad-Dur and its Dark Lord to see such courage and valour on proud display, in defiance of the open criminality now rampant throughout the Land of Shadow and its cruelly-subjugated fiefdoms. May these Okie Guardians soon be joined by legions of their comrades-in-arms in full-throated support of the Right, the Just, and the Good, all across this sorely-beset nation.

“When the law-givers ignore the law, is there any obligation to obey the law-givers?”

No, there most certainly is not. At that point, there is but one duty or obligation laid upon the true Patriot: to throw off his oppressors; to dismantle the structural mechanisms of tyrannical rule to the last nut, bolt, and cog; and to take all necessary steps to see that the tyrant’s malign influence is scoured from the land he wilfully betrayed and besmirched.

This question arises in the wake of the Biden regime – the right word, as it conveys the fundamental essence of the thing, as in capo regime…as in gang of thugs – announcing it doesn’t give a tinker’s damn for the recent  federal court stay of its order to private employers of 100 or more to require all employees submit to the Jab – else be Jabbed, themselves, with extortionate fines applied by OSHA.

Which lacks lawful jurisdiction to decree such a thing.

Well, the Fifth Circuit of Appeals – which is a court and a federal one, at that – with legal/constitutional authority to bind the power of the federal government – issued a stay.

Which means that the Jabs cannot lawfully be required – or the fines applied – until after due process of law has elaborated.

Full stop. For now, at least.

This is the way it once worked when this country was governed by laws.

The very bad precedent of executives ordering has of course been around for some time; it predates the Biden regime.

It made possible this regime’s executive ordering.

But – until now – no executive in modern times has ordered in defiance of a federal court order.

That being something very arguably impeachable.

Something that arguably calls for more.

Boy, does it ever. In fact, the situation calls for nothing short of extreme measures in response—the most extreme measures possible, with no action, tool, or tactic ruled unfair or out of bounds. But while we await the squaring of shoulders, steeling of spines, and firming of resolve that precedes every battle, this might be a decent enough first step.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has called state legislators to come together next week for a special session to consider several proposals that push back against Biden’s authoritarian COVID-19 vaccine mandates for workers and employers.

The main piece of legislation being weighed is a proposal to decide whether the state should withdraw itself from the partisan oversight of Biden’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The measure was introduced earlier this month and sponsored by Republicans Sen. Travis Hutson and Rep. Ardian Zika after OSHA had finally issued its Emergency Temporary Standard relating to Biden’s vaccine mandate for businesses with 100 employees or more.

The Republicans hold the majority in both chambers of the Florida state legislature, so it looks likely that the proposal will pass easily. The GOP leaders of both the House and Senate have even already indicated that they intend to kick OSHA’s authority to the curb.

In a statement to an outfit called the News Service of Florida, House Speaker Chris Sprowls laid it all out bluntly.

“If OSHA, the Department of Labor and OSHA, is going to be weaponized as a way to hold hostage businesses throughout the state of Florida, no problem. We want a different plan.

We want out of OSHA. We’ll submit our own regulatory authority and say goodbye to the federal government.”

You may think such maneuvering a waste of time, a stall, or a half-measure; you may very well be right about that, too. The legal process for “separating from OSHA” will undoubtedly be interminable, taking years to unfold in the admittedly iffy event it’s allowed to move forward at all. But I gotta say, that last sentence gave me goosebumps just the same. And there’s more.

The separation from OSHA may not be completed anytime before Biden’s mandate for businesses kicks in on January 4th, but the legislation’s special session will also decide on several other proposals that will provide robust protections for workers and businesses against Biden’s crippling federal overreach.

Some of the other proposals that will be discussed by lawmakers next week include: preventing government employees from being forced into vaccination, requiring employers to allow vaccine exemptions for workers, prohibiting the state’s surgeon general from forcing anyone to get vaccinated against their wishes, giving parents the sole authority over vaccination status and mask-wearing by their children in schools, and giving workers the ability to sue over vaccine mandates, among other important measures.

Florida’s legislature – thanks to decisive action by Governor DeSantis to call a special session—is demonstrating to the rest of the republican states in the nation that they are taking the fight against Biden’s federal overreach extremely seriously – they have already been right about resisting lockdowns and other authoritarian measures to limit the spread of the virus – and now they are leading the way once again in the fight against the federal mandates.

How many other states will follow suit?

Well, that really is the question now, ain’t it? One way or the other, for better or for worse, we’ll soon find out.

One war, two sides

One must win, one must lose.

Choose.

One of the great semantic debates of the past decade has been the ongoing attempt to muddle the definition of “Left vs Right” in the American political sphere. For example, a lot of people who are new to the liberty movement (people who became active during or after the Trump campaign in 2016) have heard of the “false left/right paradigm”, but they have no clue what it actually means. If you think it means there are no legitimate political sides in this fight and that the entire conflict is theatrical or manipulated, then you are misinformed.

The false left/right paradigm specifically refers to the fake division at the VERY TOP of the political pyramid among elitists in government. There are certainly Republicans that are conservative in their rhetoric but not conservative in their actions or policies, and they tend to support or side with politicians on the left regularly when it comes to big government spending and big government power (just look to the Republicans that voted in favor of Joe Biden’s recent infrastructure bill).

Democrats and leftists don’t have to pretend. They base their entire platform on collectivism and centralization. This is no secret. The only theater is in their motives. Top Democrats claim they are fighting for the “greater good” of the masses when they are actually elevating and benefiting a tiny minority of wealthy elites. They do not care at all about the lives of their constituents.

Things change dramatically when we start talking about the bottom of the pyramid among regular people. The political spectrum is not as broad and nuanced as some people would have us believe and the sides are much easier to discern. There are exceptions to every rule and to every group, but to say the groups do not exist is an act of denial.

There are also people who call themselves “moderates” because they think this makes them more impartial and more open-minded. They don’t want to appear as if they are moving to one “extreme” end of the spectrum or the other. But, ultimately, there are only two sides in this fight: Either you are in favor of intensive government dominance of people’s lives, or you are not. And, the vast majority of people in favor of government tyranny herald from the left side of the political spectrum. They revel in the totalitarianism, even when they don’t necessarily benefit from it.

The bottom line is that proof is seen in action: Red states are free, blue states are enslaved. There’s no way around that.

The debate is over, at least in terms of left vs. right. The differences are stark and painfully obvious. Places with majority conservative populations are still fighting the mandates while places with a majority of leftists are perpetuating tyranny. It cannot be denied. It cannot be argued. This is reality. In this day and age if you want to be free you make sure you are surrounded by conservatives, or you become a conservative.

There is not a single blue state in the country that is not on the war path to enforce Biden’s vax mandates. There is not a single blue city in the country that is not trying to subversively teach CRT in schools. And, there is not a single blue region in the country that is not obsessed with wokism and globalism. The truth is, America has split into two completely different cultures with two completely different social objectives.

There are principles and ideals which are mutually exclusive; they cannot exist within the same society at the same time. There are moments in history when tribes form and cults rise, and generally these groups grow from either a desire to control others or a desire to remain free. We are living in such times.

We are indeed, although it’s also obvious that many if not most of us are not reconciled to that harsh reality just yet. But like it or not, they will be, probably sooner than any of us might imagine or wish. Which is where an even harsher reality shoves an oar in.

And that, folks, is foremost among numerous reasons why I unequivocally, categorically insist that there will be no secession, no geographical or political division, no “national divorce” without violent conflict—not EVER. Which, mind, does NOT suggest that there ain’t gonna be a division. In fact, I’m entirely confident that there will be, and that right soon. Actually, it seems apparent to me that, as Brandon says, it’s already in progress, whether we realize it or not. But the pattern of history indicates that our Great Schism enjoins all participants to wade through a veritable ocean of blood before the transition from purely theoretical into daily reality will be established.

An idea whose time has DEFINITELY come

It is no longer even remotely possible for me to describe how much I love this man.

DeSantis Threatens To Bus Illegal Immigrants Right To Biden’s Doorstep In Delaware If He Doesn’t Secure Border
Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said Wednesday he would send illegal immigrants to Delaware if President Joe Biden didn’t secure the southern border.

DeSantis was responding to a question about secret “migrant flights” sent to Florida from areas near the southern border. White House press secretary Jen Psaki previously said Oct. 19 it should be “no surprise” to Americans that the Biden administration is flying migrants to Florida and New York from the southern border.

“If they’re going to come here, we’ll provide buses. I will send them to Delaware and do that. If he’s not going to support the border being secured, then he should be able to have everyone there,” DeSantis said.

DeSantis issued an executive order in September that prohibited Florida state agencies from helping the Biden administration to transport illegal immigrants. DeSantis also said he would be suing the Biden administration for its “catch and release” program.

DeSantis previously characterized the border crisis as an “intentional policy” based on an “open borders ideology.”

“The Biden Administration refuses to abide by the immigration laws of our country, and states bear the brunt of the federal government’s failures,” DeSantis’ office said in a statement to the Daily Caller. “Governor DeSantis is committed to filling that void of leadership and doing everything in his power to protect Floridians.”

“Of course, it would be ideal if the federal government would do its job and use the resources at their disposal to enforce federal law, but since that’s not happening, the state has to step up wherever possible to mitigate the impact of the Biden Border Crisis,” the statement reads.

“If that means sending illegal aliens to Delaware, or even Martha’s Vineyard, so be it. Since Biden believes the open border free for all is good for our country, I’m sure he won’t object,” DeSantis’ office said.

Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz introduced the Stop the SURGE Act on Oct. 19, which would establish ports of entry in a number of Democratic-led areas, including Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, Martha’s Vineyard, Governors Island, New York, and multiple locations in California. The bill is intended to “alleviate the massive overload at the southern border,” according to Cruz.

Why yes, as I matter of fact I DID just swipe the whole damned DC article for the above “excerpt.” That’s how much I enjoyed this story. And yes, I do understand that the chances of DeSantis actually following through and making his threat stick for reals hover somewhere between slim and don’t make me laugh, for all sorts of reasons—some of them probably good ones, I suppose. I do not care, not one whit I don’t. The mere fact that America’s Gov is feisty enough to fire so outré and unheard of a shot across Brandon’s shit-smeared bow will do to be going on with as far as I’m concerned.

This brings to mind a couple announcements I need to make, and rat cheer is as good a place as any to make ’em. Numero Uno: I will henceforth be referring to the great and powerful Ron DeSantis not as “America’s Governor,” my own original term of endearment, but as the President of Real America. Nombre Deux: I will henceforth, as and when the mood strikes, be referring to ***”president”*** Brandon not using the standard POTUS acronym, but with the far more apt and insulting FLATUS one, for reasons of side-splitting hilarity which I assume require no further elaboration.

That is all. As you were.

Another mile marker flashes by

Almost, but not quite there yet.

Ted Cruz wants Texas to secede if ‘things become hopeless’ in the US
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said that Texas should secede if Democrats “fundamentally” destroy the U.S. but added that “he is not ready to give up on America yet.”

“If the Democrats end the filibuster, if they fundamentally destroy the country, if they pack the Supreme Court, if they make D.C. a state, if they federalize elections, if they massively expand voter fraud, there may come a point where it’s hopeless,” Cruz said while speaking at an event at Texas A&M last month.

The Republican senator was responding to a question posed by a student in the crowd who asked him how he felt about the Texas secessionist movement.

“I think Texas has a responsibility to the country, and I’m not ready to give up on America. I love this country,” he said.

It’s good to hear a sitting United States Senator as prominent as Cruz unafraid to speak his mind openly on an increasingly burning topic like this. Very striking too, even though plenty of folks are going to be displeased indeed with his reticence, which they’ll perceive as waffling or even outright duplicity. I don’t see it that way myself. I mean, think about it: when was the last time you heard a US Senator willing to discuss the mere idea of secession with the seriousness it merits, even going so far as to endorse a reclamation of the proper rights and authority of the several states, rather than laughing the whole thing off as just wild-eyed radical claptrap undeserving of adult consideration? I like the barely-veiled threat that comes next even better.

He also added that Texas has an added responsibility to the U.S. as it is currently “an amazing force keeping America from going off the cliff” and “keeping America grounded in the values that built this country.”

However, he emphasized that the country isn’t at that point where Texas would secede and while he doesn’t support the movement, he “understands the sentiment behind it.”

“We’re not there yet, and if there comes a point where it’s hopeless, then I think we take NASA, we take the military, we take the oil,” Cruz said.

Heh. Take everydamnedthing you can grab, Ted, and Godspeed to you and to the Great Republic of Texas all around.

Seeing as how there’s not a single ounce of back-off to be found anywhere on the Left nowadays, their inborn zealotry and will to destroy all opposition accelerating like Big Daddy Don Garlits dropping the hammer in his rail job after banging a meth, cocaine, and Top Fuel hotshot in the pits, the most pressing question will soon be how many of Cruz’s fellow Texans are riding along side-by-side with him on this wild run, maybe even a bit further on down the strip than he is and beginning to pull away sharpish? Because we’re a heck of a lot closer to “hopeless” than Ted seems to think, so the answer is going to matter well before anybody imagined it might, and way more than just a little bit too.

Asking for a friend, don’tchaknow.

Think they won’t?

Better think again.

The Biden Regime Will Turn the Military on the People Unless We Push Back
“The coldest of all cold monsters.” That is what the modern state is. Nietzsche’s devastating analysis in Thus Spoke Zarathustra hit the nail on the head: the state is an engine of death. It wages war on the people, its agents are “annihilators” who seek the destruction of everything vital and potent.

All who witnessed the last 18 months of the COVID regime and the biomedical tyranny imposed by Joe Biden and his handlers implicitly understand what Nietzsche meant. The bureaucrats who make up the arm of the state, who serve this cold monster, hate the people. They make their lives miserable. Lockdowns, vax mandates, mask orders, critical race theory in schools, transgender bathrooms…the list goes on and on.

Ritual humiliation is the point. The agents of state power see themselves as the rightful masters of the people. To these creatures of the institutions, citizens are nothing but human resources to be bent to their malformed will.

This perverse view extends even to the American military. The time is coming, soon, in which the armed forces will be turned openly against the people. The Biden inauguration lockdown in D.C.—replete with checkpoints, thousands of national guardsmen, and the full weight of the nation’s security apparatus—was only a taste of things to come.

The Biden regime has no moral compunction against using force at home to impose its will. The barriers are practical, not ideological. Biden, in June of this year, mocked “gun-rights advocates” as a defense against tyranny. They would need “F-15s and nuclear weapons” to defeat the state, Biden claimed.

Implicit in this apparently weird statement is the acknowledgement that his administration would not hesitate to turn its full military might, including atomic bombs, against the populace in a war. The state, the coldest of cold monsters, headed by an endless mob of Anthony Faucis would not hesitate to impose its will in the most brutal manner possible.

At this late date, I think it safe to say that anyone who doesn’t realize that ain’t ever going to.

As America becomes more divided and as the political class becomes more and more unhinged in its attempt to cling to power, the likelihood of state violence against the people increases. America is lucky. So far, there has been no real right-wing acts of terror against the regime. If there were, the situation might already have gotten out of hand.

And if the “right-wing” had demonstrated long, long ago that FederalGovCo would be prevented from breaching its Constitutional constraints by any and all necessary means, we wouldn’t have landed ourselves in this sorry situation to begin with. “Lucky,” you say? Show me a man content to rely on mere luck to safeguard his essential liberty and I’ll show you a man who’s already lost it, and won’t be getting it back anytime soon.

If Americans on the Right are to prevent the use of the military and national security apparatus against the people, we must defang these institutions. The most powerful weapon at our disposal right now is mockery.

GOTT IN HIMMEL, but I am so almighty tired of this crap. Allow me to rephrase my previous statement: Show me a man whose “most powerful weapon” is mockery, and I’ll show you a contemptible slave.

We must strip America’s surveillance state and our bloated military industrial complex of honor and deference.

As if they gave so much as a damp fart about honor, “deference” (whatever the hell he means by that twipe), or least of all what the Serf Class might think of them.

As a practical measure, we need to get public approval for the military to below 40 percent. Without a majority backing its actions, the armed forces cannot be used domestically without significant problems.

Problems such as…?!? Their public-approval rating plummetting all the way to 38%, say? The only “problem” that might keep these people up nights is the prospect of some lone American Patriot slipping stealthily into his house in the wee hours and quietly slitting his fucking throat, or the administration of a little .308 caliber justice from a great distance.

What Christopher Rufo did with critical race theory must be done with the post-9/11 security state.

You do know, I hope, that regardless of Christopher Rufo (whothehell ever THAT might be) and his stunning, peaceful, and entirely legal VICTORY!!! over the forces of darkness, CRT is still being taught in most government schools. Who knows, maybe if we subjected those who teach it to a searing blast of Extreme Mockery™ and strip them of all “honor and deference” they might change their ways, eh?

The Right needs to stay on message, pointing out over and over again that the military establishment is ideologically leftist and defends its own bureaucratic interest.

One more time: THEY KNOW THESE THINGS. THEY ARE PROUD OF IT. THEY DO NOT GIVE A FLYING FUCK AT A ROLLING DONUT WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THAT.

Patriotic Americans have no choice but to wage unceasing spiritual warfare

against our degenerate and corrupt ruling class within the foreign policy establishment. Social media provides an excellent avenue for doing so. Twitter, for one, is populated with a horde of high and mid-level military officers who are both extremely liberal and extraordinarily hostile to the citizenry. They must be exposed for what they are.

GREAT idea. Why, there must be at least forty or fifty people who don’t know what they are by now.

This spiritual battle is just getting started, but there is no time to waste. Americans must join the fray. Unless we push back, the use of America’s institutions of “national defense” will be turned against the people. Spiritedness in defense of our rights is our best weapon.

Complete rusty codswallop. I swear, I’m beginning to think the little gawdhelpus actually BELIEVES this horseshit. Oh, this battle is just getting started alright. But as long as we continue to handicap ourselves by insisting it is and must always remain purely spiritual, we will continue to lose.

A testing of mettle

Fuck around. Find out.

MOB JUSTICE: Judge, jurors threatened in Rittenhouse, Daunte Wright trials
In recent days, BLM and antifa activists have issued threats to the Judge presiding over Kyle Rittenhouse’s trial as well as the jurors. Kyle Rittenhouse was charged with multiple counts of homicide as well as unlawful possession of a firearm in the wake of Black Lives matter riots in Kenosha. Since the beginning of the trial, activists have attempted to doxx jurors as well as the judge. Businesses in Kenosha have already started preparing for potential unrest following the verdict, with police increasing their presence in and around the courthouse during the trial.

George Floyd’s nephew, Cortez Rice, has issued veiled threats to the jurors in the Kyle Rittenhouse case, with the support of Unicorn Riot, an antifa affiliated organization. “I ain’t even gonna name the people that I know that’s up in the Kenosha trial,” Rice said. “But it’s cameras in there. It’s definitely cameras up in there. There’s definitely people taking pictures of the juries and everything like that. We know what’s going on.” “so we need the same results, man.” said Rice in a video released today. Rice has a history of intimidating jurors and judges in prominent cases, coordinating with antifa and BLM activists. In the Daunte Wright case, Rice located the apartment of the female judge presiding over the case and stood outside the door of her home.

I have to say, Sh’Qw’onzellationabloobalubu—may I call you Sh’Qw’onzellationabloobalubu?—that I agree with you completely. We do indeed need the same results, man. Which I interpret as Yo’ ign’ant, woithless ayess lyin’ in da muhfuggin’ skreet, bleedin’ the fuck out. Nomesayn, muh niggah? DASS wussup! A good, stiff dose of what I think I’m gonna call The Rittenhouse Cure would be just the thing to put you right, Sh’Qw’onzellationabloobalubu…once and for all.

Rittenhouse faces multiple felony charges in the aftermath of the unrest in Kenosha. Prosecutors have attempted to build a case against Rittenhouse by portraying him as reckless and aggressive, while the defense has produced evidence of violent intent on the part of protesters who chased Rittenhouse down. Witnesses have testified that Joseph Rosenbaum, one of the shooting victims in the Rittenhouse case, issued death threats to Rittenhouse, “If I catch any of you guys alone tonight I’m going to f—ing kill you!” a key witness testified in the case.

The below Tweet includes a vid of Sh’Qw’onzellationabloobalubu running his stupid mouth about “juss’uss ‘n’ shit,” who knows or cares. Yes, he looks, dresses, and speaks EXACTLY as you’d expect he would.

Yeah, civilized Whypeepuh ought to be able to live peaceably cheek-by-jowl with THIS primordial knuckledragger, don’tchathink? The question before us is, are we sure we really want to? Sadly, terrifyingly even, the issue here is much bigger than just that, and Miguel at GFZ knows exactly what it is.

This is the end of our judicial system.

Conviction in court obtained by mob coercion of the jury.

We must protect our juries at all costs or we might as well cut out the middle man and go straight to trial by Twitter poll.

Little late for that, I’m afraid. Any system this thoroughly rotten can only be razed to the ground, then rebuilt from scratch. But there’s an even larger, more fiercely-burning issue yet, in my own estimation. Now as it happens, I’ve been struggling over lo, the past several days to finish up a post on the Rittenhouse trial which spells it all out as well as I’ll ever be able to. Thus I shall shameless quote myself:

I’m just gonna come right out and say it: When Rittenhouse is unjustly convicted and harshly sentenced—as he will be, have no doubt whatsoever about that—I hope to God that there will be a massive, nationwide uprising in response. No, I ain’t kidding. I’d think it a joyous occasion if very urban shithole coast to coast got itself well and truly trashed as retribution for the up-close-and-personal destruction by the State of yet another of our own whose only real offense was his refusal to kneel in submission to the day’s prevailing PC platitudes and shibboleths, in defense of a young life the PCPTB regards as without value. If the cities burned in precise proportion to the damage wrought by last year’s “mostly peaceful” Saint George Of Fentanyl gatherings, I’d celebrate with a nice, stiff drink the night the deal went down, watching on TeeWee and laughing myself sick.

Everybody on this side of the Great Schism needs to fully square themselves with the implacable reality that Kyle Rittenhouse is by no means the only one on trial here. In a way that closely parallels Heritage America’s relationship with Donald Trump, Kyle isn’t just some lone, random kid who got his butt caught in the blades of Amerikan dysfunction, an unfortunate predicament for him but of no real import to the rest of us. We may find his fate unsettling, unconscionable, perhaps unacceptable. But for some, the whole mess has kind of a faraway feel about it, as being not a thing that we need to be concerned about just yet. I mean, yeah, it’s terrible thing, I know. You gotta hate it for the boy’s parents, how awful this must be for them. But ultimately, it’s not really our problem, right?

Wrong. What Kyle has become, now, today, this very moment, is a symbol. What we have here before us is a heretofore unassuming, ordinary Joe who was suddenly transmogrified by extraordinary circumstances into a representational stand-in for EVERY Heritage American, in both body and spirit—an unlooked-for bolt out of the blue that blasted him into a role I strongly suspect he’d be very uncomfortable with, and wholly unhappy about.

And lest you believe you could never find yourself in circumstances similar to the one that has forever altered Kyle’s life—forced to employ lethal measures so as to preserve your very existence against marauding, lawless proto-simians, whether singly or in a mob—you are completely, dangerously mistaken. Even a fairly inattentive observer of current events could put you wise to the unpleasant facts on the ground, and probably ought to. Hell, a brief look in on any evening Teewee “news” show, dishonest and unreliable as they all are, might do the trick.

So here we all are, then: officially up to our clavicles in the Real, the Bad, and the Scary, folks. Kyle Rittenhouse should not, MUST NOT be abandoned to face alone the full might of the self-same Enemy who is certain to turn his Lidless Eye on the rest of us once he’s been allowed to destroy Rittenhouse without some serious opposition. Kyle is the personification of absolutely everything the wholesome, clean-living, responsible young American ought to be. Consider also that, his derring-do and extreme competence aside, the guy is after all just a kid. Then ask yourself: Can we really be the kind of people who would sit passively back and allow the vicious, soulless Left Establishment machine to sink its talons into him and rip him into bloody gobbets unchallenged? Can we blandly tolerate a guiltless youth being thrown into prison for the rest of his natural life in punishment for actions that are, in practical and moral terms, entirely justified?

In Patrick Henry’s immortal words: Forbid it, Almighty God! Many of our less-patient compatriots have fretted themselves into near-despair over what fresh outrage might be the one to spur their hesitant fellows to action at long, long last. What, they’ve lamented, will be our Hill Worth Dying On? Do we even have one at all, or no? In answer, I hereby nominate the Flensing of Kyle Rittenhouse as a worthy for the title of that Ultimate Hill. There are plenty of reasons in support of the idea, not least of which is what our response to this balls-out mockery of justice should it come to pass—flaccid or vigorous, forceful or feeble—will tell The Enemy about us. What unspeakable atrocities are likely to be inspired by his newly gleaned knowledge of our character and courage should we prove ourselves lacking in those qualities, with a shrug of our collective shoulders and an averting of our eyes, while the aggregation of slavering monsters utterly destroys another of us without retaliation? Will we embolden the Enemy further by backing down to let him have his awful way with one of our own AGAIN? Or will we stand firm this time and refuse him another unearned victory?

We’ll learn soon enough what we’re truly made of, looks like.

Inside the Amerikan Gulag

Don’t kid yourself that calling it a Gulag is in any way hyperbole, exaggeration, or overstatement. “Inflammatory rhetoric” I can accept, since calling this hideously un-American atrocity by its proper name damned well ought to be inflammatory.

Two Republican members of Congress on Thursday night visited defendants jailed in the nation’s capital on charges in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, confirming a federal judge’s determination that the conditions were “beyond belief.”

Reps. Louie Gohmert of Texas and Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia joined a pre-scheduled tour of the D.C. jail by members of the D.C. Council. But earlier in the day they went to Mayor Muriel Bowser’s office and delivered a letter demanding access to the “Patriot Wing” of the jail, arguing it is their  duty as Congress members to oversee how the city spends taxpayer dollars.

Greene recounted the visit in a thread on Twitter.

“I’ve never seen human suffering like I witnessed last night,” she said.

The Georgia lawmaker said that when she walked into the “Patriot” wing of the jail, she was “greeted by men with overwhelming cheers who rushed out to meet me with tears streaming down their faces,” describing them as “forgotten & hopeless.”

“It was like walking into a prisoner of war camp and seeing men whose eyes can’t believe someone had made it in to see them. They are suffering greatly,” she said of the Jan. 6 defendants.

“Virtually no medical care, very poor food quality, and being put through re-education which most of them are rejecting.”

Greene said she and her staff are writing a full report of her three-hour tour.

“I am committed to ending this political war and seeing that our justice system is never used against Americans as a political weapon ever again,” she said.

The freshman lawmaker said she is “beginning a plan for real prison reform.”

“Our nation is broken and our people are divided,” the congresswoman said. “It’s time to fix it.”

Hate to be the one to break this to ya, Marge, but filing reports and sponsoring more legislation ain’t gonna get it done, anymore than lawsuits, peaceful protest, or Voting Harderer!™ at them will. “Ending this political war” is the wrong goal anyway—what needs to be the focus now is WINNING it, and fighting as if we intend to win. Alas, that can only mean war—and, as the great Bedford Forrest well knew: War means fighting, and fighting means killing. Bill comes right out and says it, before going a wee mite wobbly.

The reason this is happening, of course, is that treating these people like deadly dangerous animals is part of the narrative that a their almost entirely peaceful protesting at the Capital on January 6 was a hyperviolent domestic armed insurrection carried out at Donald Trump’s behest.

This is so pathologically delusional that only lefties could believe it, and even if they don’t (our leftymedia doesn’t, but it knows which side its ideological bread and cash sandwich is buttered on) they will pretend they do to support the narrative and their own jobs.

What excuse do we on the right have? These are our brothers and sisters, in some cases literally. What message are we sending when we abandon them to rot in some CIA-run punishment mill in the nation’s capitol?

Enough is enough. It’s time to get them out.

Perfectly simple, perfectly correct up until this:

Let your D.C. reps know that you will no longer support them turniing a blind eye to this travest of justice.

Bill, you know I love ya and all, but…nope. Our DC “reps,” with exceptions so few the number could easily be toted up without needing to remove one’s shoes, are all in on it—they ain’t ag’in it, they’re fer it, as the country folk hereabouts might say. The sad, sorry truth is that Team Liberty HAS NO representation in DC, hasn’t for years now. The slithery, slimery reptiles who poke out their forked tongues to falsely proclaim their fidelity to acting as “duly elected representatives of Duh Peepul”—on the increasingly rare occasions they even bother anymore—are in fact our opponents. They are on the other side.

Oh, it’s time to get ’em out all right. Time, and way past time, couldn’t agree more on that. But words, paperwork, and strongly-worded letters expressing dissatisfaction with their performance are no longer sufficient to shift even one of the DC orcs into reconsideration of their intolerable depredations, if ever they were in the first place. At this point, not even explicit and detailed threats of grievous bodily harm will avail us, nor free a one of our brothers currently in durance vile. Not unless those threats are fully, firmly, and swiftly backed up here in what the cool kids nowadays call meatspace, thereby fundamentally transforming threats into promises.

If we want our fellow Patriots sprung, and we certainly should, we’ll need to add that to the ever-lengthening list of things we’re just gonna have to damned well do ourselves. I think at this point nobody needs me to spell out exactly what THAT will require of us, right?

A different view

Earlier I dismissed the Vichy GOPe’s Va win as “self-evidently meaningless,” and I meant it too. Eric Peters begs to differ, and could be he has a point.

It looks like the standard-bearer of the Woke Authoritarian Left (WAL) will not be anointed as Virginia’s next governor. Of course, this may change as new “ballots” are discovered – but for the moment, a respite.

Not because the other guy (apparently) won. Rather, because it appears that WAL suffered a significant repudiation. Even in Northern Virginia, where the WAL appeared to be in full control – of everything.

And got too publicly cocky about it.

The Clinton’s buck-toothed  donkey lost – again, apparently – not because a sufficiency of voters were enthused about Glenn Youngkin, a Republican cut from the same cloth as Mitt Romney. Rather, the Clinton’s donkey lost because he brayed too loudly, too openly about such things as parents of kids in government schools needing to shut up, sit down and let the WAL put boys who dress like girls freely enter the actually girls’ bathrooms and lecture kids of both sexes who happen to be white that they are intrinsically oppressive to “people of color. “

Youngkin is not likely to restore the Bill of Rights in Virginia. But that misses the point of this election.

WAL lost – in a state presumed to be its fief-perpetual. WAL may have lost another state – New Jersey (as this is written early post-election day, the NJ race is too close to call) which is a loss for the WAL even if the WAL’s candidate – the sitting governor – clings to his office.

The tide is turning.

The country resonates with chants of Let’s Go Brandon! It is driving the WAL batty because it is a barometer of that changing tide. The WAL has been using the strategy pioneered by the WAL’s founder – Vladimir Lenin. He knew you win by presuming you are the majority, which you achieve by belittling and demoralizing the actual majority.

He literally seized the name – majority – for his minority cabal of original gangster Woke Authoritarian Leftists, styling them bolsheviks, which in the Russian language means…majority. Which conferred upon his radical minority a false legitimacy. The Bolsheviks – as their party became known – seized control as the representatives of “the people.” In fact, they represented a tiny minority of the populace. Indeed, many of them weren’t even Russians – as the imprisoned Russian dissident Alexander Solzhenitsyn would note in his Gulag Archipelago.

Today’s WAL has been using the same technique – with great effect because its membership controls what is styled the “mainstream” media, which includes social media such as Facebook and Twitter. Which the WAL has used to create a false impression of majority-hood.

By suppressing the majority.

Those who offend the WAL’s sensitivities are disappeared – not by goon squads hauling people off into the night but via the less overt method of cancelling them. Their mouths are electronically muzzled (an interesting parallel there with the Face Diapers also pushed by the WAL) and their persons isolated thereby, causing them to believe they are at odds with the…majority. This stifling effect ripples through the general population, making the majority feel themselves a displaced minority, obsolete and in the way.

It worked – superficially – for quite some time.

Most people may not be libertarian – yet! – but they are not Woke. And the more the WAL’s tyranny of the minority is rejected, the more the majority inches toward the libertarian point-of-view. This evolution is inevitable for just that reason. As people reason it out, they begin to see.

The rejection of the vicious authoritarianism of the Left implies a repudiation of authoritarianism, as such – because authoritarianism is always and inherently vicious. Psychologically normal people begin to see that.

Take heart!

And Let’s Go Brandon!

Take heart indeed. There is plenty of cause for concern, yes—plenty and to spare. But we must NEVER yield to despair.

Update! I repeat: No opportunity to rub shitlib noses in their own shit ought ever to be passed up. Ever.

Dear Leftists,

Let’s be clear: Tuesday’s election wasn’t about us, it was about you. It was about putting a stop to your failed American Marxist policies that have been fundamentally transforming and dividing our country by race, class, and ideology. We see it, but, unsurprisingly, you don’t.

Voters—across not only on the dark blue east, but the midwest and Texas too—resoundingly and decisively rejected what you’re selling at all levels of government. Tellingly, though, rather than taking some time for introspection to consider why you lost, we see you’re immediately doubling down on those very same failed policies…

Follows, a Tweet from some doltish twat claiming that the big problem for the Demonrats isn’t with their “messaging,” but that “This country simply loves white supremacy.” At this time, it remains unclear just why the actual fucking fuck this parasitic bint hasn’t long since departed these unspeakably racist shores to shag her Brown Sugah ass on back to De Motherlan’ for good. I do so enjoy this sizzling rejoinder to all that sniveling race-pimpery, not that it will have any effect on those most in need of the schooling.

That, of course, is the entirely awesome Winsome Sears: former Gyrine, outspoken Gun Gal, and soon to be Va’s new Lt Gov. I consider Sears to be the most salutary result of the whole shebang, not least because of how very many shitlib shibboleths she righteously upends just by simply existing as the person she is.

“I am at a loss for words for the first time in my life,” she told supporters. “I am here because of you. I’m here because you voted for me. I’m here because you put your trust in me. Thank you, thank you.”

“I’m telling you that what you are looking at is the American dream. The American dream. When my father came to this country on August 11, 1963. He came at the height of the civil rights movement,” she said. “He came from Jamaica. I said to him, ‘why did you come?’ He said, ‘because America was where the jobs and the opportunities were.’”

She explained that her father arrived in the U.S. with $1.75 in his pocket, taking any job he could find and putting himself through school so he could enjoy the American Dream.

“He came and got me when I was six years old, and when I stepped onto that PanAm Boing 737 and landed at JFK, I landed in a new world. And so let me tell you this,” she said. “I am not even a first-generation American. When I joined the Marine Corps I was still a Jamaican. But this country had done so much for me I was willing—willing to die for this country.”

“U-S-A! U-S-A!” she chanted, as the crowd enthusiastically joined in.

She’s a-okay with me. Read all about her here; Sears has lots more to say, every word of it pure gold. Anyways, several ‘graphs deeper into the pre-digression post above we arrive at what was almost certainly the biggest single reason Va Demonrats got their empty heads cut last night.

When leftist candidates said over and over that parents shouldn’t have a say in their children’s education and bureaucrats called them “domestic terrorists” while siccing the federal government on them, America’s parents were listening. While leftists locked us down; closed our schools, churches, and places of employment; tried to force us to mask and vaccinate; and taught our kids to hate this country, their own gender, and even us, American voters were listening. On Tuesday, American voters spoke loudly and clearly not about racism, but about woke-ism.

The truth is you lost many seats on Tuesday but more than that, your leftist ideas lost. Your ideas are extreme, divisive, tired, and failed. America is indeed tired of the left’s American Marxism.

It’s not us, it’s you, and may God Bless Red America.

Damned skippy. For what it’s worth I believe Sims, among others, is reading way too much into this than the facts will ultimately bear, for all sorts of reasons I won’t go into for the nonce. But that’s okay; there’s plenty of butthurt to go around in Progtardia today, which is never a bad thing.

Updated update! A small victory that could very well end up being a truly meaningful one.

A Massachusetts teacher who was forced to resign after photos of him at the Capitol on January 6 were shared online has won a seat on the district’s school board.

The former Braintree High School teacher Matthew Lynch, 35, was visited by the FBI during his campaign.

Lynch resigned in February after working at the school for approximately ten years.

In his resignation letter to the school, Lynch wrote about how his military experience has left him very concerned about the direction of our nation.

“My military experience as an Intelligence Analyst has given me unique perspective on what is currently going on in both our country and our town and I fear we are heading on a real collision course,” Lynch continued in the letter. “I feel I need to make my voice heard in the town of Braintree but in doing so will have unintended side effects which will be completely unfair to my students.”

The former teacher explained to the outlet that he believes in Braintree schools and believes that they are “worth fighting for.”

“There is a revolution in education going on right now. More and more kids will be leaving public schools for private, Catholic or homeschooling, which will have a negative effect on Braintree’s schools. I love Braintree Schools and I believe they are worth fighting for, so we have to show parents why Braintree Schools is the place for their children.”

On Tuesday, Lynch won.

Good on ya, Teach. Here’s hoping you can make your presence felt up there in the People’s Republic of Massachussetts, in whatever way you’re able. May the example set by your dauntless will to win serve as inspiration to us all.

Update to the updated update! Okay, I confess I did NOT see this coming.

RICHMOND, VA—Tuesday seemed to be a banner day for Republicans. They won a huge victory in Virginia, and without the involvement of former President Donald Trump. Perhaps the Republicans had turned a new leaf.

But it was all a ruse.

As Youngkin gave his victory speech, he pulled off his mask and revealed that he had, in fact, been Donald Trump all along. “Hello, haters and losers!” Trump yelled. “I win again! Now I’m president of this state! Forty-nine more to go!”

“See?! I told you!” screamed Terry MacAuliffe from the crowd. “I told you that electing Youngkin was basically electing Trump! I told you!”

“Shut up, loser!” Trump responded. “I never came up with a nickname for you. It’s Terrible Terry. That’s your name now.” He looked at the rest of the crowd. “Now you’ll never get rid of me! Never!”

Moderate Republicans who had supported Youngkin in the race were inconsolable. “We thought it was okay to vote Republican since they were moving on from Trump,” sobbed Bryant Patton, a Never Trumper. “I just thought the Lincoln Project and Bill Kristol were weird grifters and/or pedophiles, but I should have listened to them and just voted for Democrats who hate and despise me instead of the Republican.”

Trump, though, was ready to get to work, first trying to find how he could get access to the Virginia governor’s Twitter account.

Reports of Pelousi immediately scheduling US House impeachment hearings for an unprecedented fourth time are almost certainly true.

Updates, forsooth! The Last Sane Democrat sounds off.

Yes, she’s a Democrat. Yes, she still hews to some shitlib beliefs like gun control, or as far as I know she does. Nonetheless, I still kinda like her.

One for Gretchen

First the backstory, from my brother-from-another-mother BCE.

Wifey pulled a fast one on me yesterday in a positive way. Mid way through ye olde day, she told me to have a few drinks and relax. It’s been a barn-burner around here as of late, so I was MOR than willing to chill. She started hustling around while I’m drinking my lunch, and next thing I know, she tells me to get in the car.

Two hours south and I find myself at a two-night decompression stay in a nice little hotel on the beach.

The intahnetz connection is a bit shitty, even when tied thru my cell as a hotspot, so this’ll be brief.

She’s a good broad. Swear things like this are why I married her despite all my misgivings of a second wife. Swore to meselves the whole relationshit thing was if my marriage even ended, it was ‘one and done.’ Thing like this are when you -do- find a good wahmennez, you stick with her.

Life does sure take strange angles.

I had a phone convo with Big Country last night wherein I learned there was a good bit more to the story, all of which spoke extremely well of his ol’ lady, bless her heart. Without going into some things I really shouldn’t, suffice it to say that after weeks of intolerable and unsustainable stress and aggro at Casa Expat, Wifey established her bona fides as a Damned Good Woman with style, flair, and grace.

Now, folks who know me well IRL remain floored by my harsh antipathy to the whole sex, love, and marriage thing nowadays, particularly in light of how gung-ho I had been for that sort of thing my entire life up until about ten-twelve years ago. A sudden cascade of certain unpleasantnesses, shall we say, sufficed to slam my brakes on and throw my attitude in reverse when it comes to further romantic dealings with the fairer sex.

That said, though, I know a good woman when I see one even yet. And after what BC told me last night…well, he’s definitely got himself one.

So Gretch, please accept my most humble and sincere thanks for the way you took care of my friend this past week. Plenty of us were mighty worried about him; he’s had a tough, stressful row to hoe of late, as you obviously know. The way you stepped up to take care of business and help out with some much-needed decompression proves that you’re the kind of wife who pays close attention to her man, cares deeply for him, and is possessed of guts and initiative enough to take direct action when the situation has gone seriously pear-shaped. You have earned my undying gratitude and affection for that. From what I can tell, there just aren’t very many like you left in this beaten and battered old world, to the great detriment of every single one of us. God bless and keep you, girl, from the bottom of my coal-black heart.

Handsome is as handsome does

Also, when he’s right, he’s right. Explanation to come, but first, the backstory.

On Wednesday, Fox News host Tucker Carlson released a preview for a trailer on a new series scheduled to debut next week, which tells the “true story” of the January 6th Capitol riot.

It appears to both condemn the left for framing the incident as terrorism and its participants as terrorists, while exploring the potential role of the FBI in staging a false flag.

First, the trailer for “Patriot Purge”:

Which I won’t embed, so as to get right on to the meat of this.

Unsurprisingly, the left has been absolutely triggered over Carlson’s upcoming exposé, and wants it stricken from existence before millions, perhaps tens-of-millions of Americans are presented with an alternative narrative that contains highly uncomfortable truths.

“There is no lie too big or conspiracy theory too dangerous for Tucker Carlson to propagate,” said top Russiagate / Ukrainegate peddler Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) in a statement to WaPo. “His latest salvo is nothing less than an invitation to violence. By airing it, Fox News demonstrates yet again a willingness to profit from tearing the country down.”

And on and on the shrieking shitlib hysteria-fest goes, of course and as usual. So brace yourself for the main reason I’m posting on this topic at all.

CF Lifers may recall an extended Gulf war-era dustup that raged ’round these parts with one Glenn Greenwald, who back in those days I took to sarcastically referring to as “Gleen Grenwald” for some long-forgotten reason. As I have ruefully acknowledged many times since those heady warblogging days of yore, my unqualified support for what I later came to derisively label the War On (Some) Terror was a mistake, owing to my being taken in completely by the Forever War scam.

Having waxed ever more appropriately and correctly cynical about FederalGovCo and all its works ever since, I’ve somewhat shamefacedly noticed a growing concurrence with Greenwald’s opinions of late; as I opened this post, when he’s right, he’s right. And he is, about more things than I would have imagined twenty years ago. My ego isn’t so smothering, nor my pride so stubborn, that I can’t give credit where it’s due. Although I’m sure we’ll never see eye to eye on everydamnedthing, nonetheless Glenn is due a great deal of credit, not least for this obversation:

Good stuff all right, and perfectly consistent with his beliefs then. But it’s the closer at the bottom of this next one that really tickled me good.

WHOA, that’s good squishy. I very much doubt Greenwald would remember me or our serial clashes way back when; he grazes in much more expansive fields nowadays, so to speak, and a lot of years have gone by. Be that as it may, I’ll say it anyhow: my humble thanks to you, Glenn, for giving me the heartiest laugh I’ve had all day.

New York tough

Much as I’ve enjoyed myself poking fun at DeBalledZero-era NYC, I still do think fondly of it as a sort of alternate Old Home Place for me. And if there’s one guy who might possibly save the Big Rotten Apple from itself a la Giuliani, it would have to be the great Curtis Sliwa.

This cat’s got nine lives.

Feline-friendly GOP mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa — who once survived a botched alleged mob takedown — was hit by a cab Friday, breaking his left arm, but still proceeded on his way to a radio show before going for treatment at Lenox Hill Hospital, the pol and his wife said.

“As I was running here to fulfill the hour that I had purchased for this expose on Eric Adams, I was hit by the cab driver, thrust about 6 feet in the air right outside Rockefeller Center, where the Rockettes perform,” Sliwa said on WABC radio Friday afternoon during a paid spot he’d taken out on a show to go after his opponent, Democrat Eric Adams.

“I have a feeling this cab driver and others thought that I was dead,” Sliwa said about 45 minutes after the run-in.

“I flew in the air about 6 feet, scurried up and started running in order to get here in time. I just want to relieve that cab driver because I’m sure that cab driver thought that he had killed me. … I was trying to beat the light and get to the other side before the changeover,” Sliwa continued.

His wife, Nancy Sliwa, later issued a statement saying, “Curtis has been diagnosed with a fractured left arm, which requires a sling.

“In addition, he has swelling on his left knee, which will require an ace bandage wrap.  There is no internal bleeding.”

The candidate quipped on Twitter after the accident, “Don’t worry, everyone. The taxi is okay.”

That’s about as Noo Yawk a story as Noo Yawk stories come, as well as being one hundred proof vintage Sliwa too. Godspeed, Curtis, and good on ya. NYC needs you, about as badly as it’s ever needed anybody. If you can’t get the job done, the only hope left for The City is probably Batman.
