The eternal question

Will we stand for freedom or sit back and embrace oppression?

Lockdowns are coming. The Great Reset agenda is hitting its stride as world governments engage in lockdowns over the Delta Variant. Data shows it is more infectious but less dangerous than previous variants, but the fearmongers driving the narrative are treating it like an existential threat to society. In reality, THEY are the existential threat as they prepare to unleash their lockdown hysteria on the United States.

It’s coming. According to Human Events Senior Editor Jack Posobiec:

WH official this am: “B lockdown speech being drawn up this week…they’re planning to make it sound like one of the most solemn in history, real Bush on the night of 9/11 type stuff. Would start stocking up if I were y’all”

There’s a choice that will need to be made by every American in the coming weeks. Are we going to stand up and object to the unnecessary, draconian lockdowns the White House plans on unveiling shortly or are we going to hide in our homes refreshing Amazon to see if they have toilet paper in stock again?

We faced the same basic question multiple times in 2020 and failed miserably. Sure, there were op-eds and rant videos. There were Tweets and Facebook posts. There even a few protests. But for the most part American Exceptionalism was diminished as the vast majority of people sat back and tried to wait it all out.

Then, something even worse happened. We got used to it. The new normal of creeping complacency and docile acceptance of totalitarianism firmly set most Americans into a state of uselessness. We weren’t working. We weren’t being educated. We weren’t engaging in life, at least not the life we knew before the pandemic. And it stuck.

Signs of a resurgence have been on display for a few months. But while we were busy debating vaccine risks and getting distracted by fake news, the powers-that-be were plotting the next phase in their takedown of the United States. The Delta Variant became the focus of their propaganda. Properly primed, the American people are on the verge of facing another idiotic lockdown.

Many of us won’t comply, and the powers-that-be know that. They realize that what’s happening in Europe is a precursor to what will happen in the United States. They’re baiting us, and unfortunately we must take the bait. The alternative is to allow it all to happen without a fight. At least by standing up and opposing the lockdowns, we have a chance of success. Our chances improve as we add more patriotic Americans to the list of those who will stand with us and fight back.

What will all of this look like in America? Let’s look at Germany today to see what our future may hold. According to Steve Watson at Summit News:

Worldwide protests against the decimation of freedom continued this weekend, with Berlin in Germany becoming the focal point as thousands took to the streets, rising up against lockdowns and the introduction of vaccine passports in the country.

As we reported last week, authorities in Germany have indicated that unvaccinated people could be banned from cinemas and restaurants and that those who have taken the jab will have “more freedom.”

Footage from the weekend highlighted riot police fighting with protesters, pepper spraying people and even aggressively pushing around old women and children.

The AP reports that 600 people were arrested.

If you don’t think anything like that could ever happen in the United States, you probably also used to think that we would never allow domestic terrorists to burn our city without police doing a thing about it. You probably thought American citizens would not be detained indefinitely for trespassing at the Capitol Building. You probably thought the American spirit would never stand by and let tyranny reign because of a virus that has a 99.97% recovery rate for people under the age of 50.

Do NOT underestimate the willingness of those working against us to do whatever it takes to bring their nefarious agenda to bear. Do NOT overestimate the resolve of your fellow American citizens to stand up and fight against it. We need to be rallying the people now. We must be inspiring those around us to put down their Netflix and GrubHub long enough to prevent perpetual oppression from taking hold in America. It’s time to get angry.

We should have gotten angry long ago.

It speaks very poorly of us indeed that we didn’t. It isn’t too late to do so now, perhaps. But that by no means suggests that “too late” will NEVER come, or that it isn’t entirely too close at hand already. And as if on cue…

Biden Regime Announces ‘It’s Time to Impose Requirements’ on Americans to Get Experimental COVID-19 Jab
White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator Jeff Zients announced on Monday that the Biden regime is moving rapidly toward mandatory vaccinations.

Zients hosted a press conference with National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Dr. Anthony Fauci and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) director Dr. Rochelle Walensky appearing behind him remotely on screens. He aggressively shilled for the administration’s coercive measures meant to promote vaccine compliance.

“Last week, the Department of Veteran Affairs announced that it will require doctors and nurses and other healthcare workers who provide medical care to our veterans to get vaccinated. This is in lockstep with many healthcare employers around the country who are requiring vaccinations,” he added.

Zients stated that it is only a matter of time before the Department of Defense (DOD) starts requiring mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations for all military personnel as well. The Biden regime is also working on measures to socially isolate members of the federal workforce and subject them to degrading mistreatment in an attempt to compel them into getting vaxxed.

“The President announced that every federal government employee will be asked to attest to their vaccination status. Any federal employee who does not attest, or is not vaccinated, will be required to mask no matter where they work, get tested once or twice a week, socially distance, and generally will not be allowed to travel for work,” he said.

“We’re taking steps to apply similar standards to all federal contractors. It’s simple: If you want to do business with the federal government, get your workers vaccinated,” Zients declared.

The vaccine regime being imposed by the Biden administration in the U.S. and by authoritarian monsters in other countries is among of the worst tyrannies mankind has ever known. The globalists are playing for keeps, and the common people will have to rise up to have a chance of stopping their Machiavellian plot.

Indeed they will. The dimestore dictators are going to leave no space available to us for insisting on “peaceful” resistance, or for shying from taking ANY steps required to defend our bodily autonomy. The conciliatory and belligerent alike are being pushed into the same corner, no fine distinctions being made between them. In the view of our Masters, we have NO rights that they are bound to respect—NONE. They command, we obey—period, full stop, end of story. There can be no appeasing them, no negotiating, no compromise with them. Nothing short of our total submission will suffice.

Don’t kid yourselves: there is NO line they will not cross; NO punishment too inhuman, NO atrocity they will not cheerfully commit to secure total victory. The historical record on what extremes such “people” are capable of in the mad quest for absolute, unquestioned power could not possibly be clearer. Get it through your heads without further delay: They are utterly ruthless. We can expect neither compassion nor mercy from them. They have none to grant. Even if they did, they still wouldn’t, so blistering does their hatred for us burn.

Folks, I’ll just say it plain: this is some truly scary shit we’re in here. Nut-cuttin’ time is nigh upon us, in a battle we MUST NOT LOSE. Commenter SimpleAmerican puts it this way: “People will need to start giving out a few shots of their own.” Can’t argue, won’t try.

In the Court of the Kangaroo

The Stalinesque Jan 6 show trials might reveal more than the despicable reprobates running them want us to see.

The term “show trial” has been with us since the 1920’s, but gained wide currency during Stalin’s purges in the 1930’s. By definition, a show trial is a public trial in which the judicial authorities have already determined the guilt of the defendant. The point of the trial is to serve as a warning to political opponents of the regime, but also to serve as an expression of power by the dominant elements within the regime. It is all about violence capital within the ruling class.

From the outside, the show trial looks like a display of absolute power. After all, the condemned is usually required to confess to crimes that everyone, including his accusers, know he did not commit. The condemned is forced to humiliate himself as a way of showing his submission to power. Similarly, the people administrating the show trial must pretend to be enthusiastic believers in the proceeding. One element of the show trial is the manufactured appearance of unity.

In reality, show trials are an indication of conflict within the ruling regime, where the dominant camp feels the need to display their power. The point of it is to advertise the violence capital of the side holding the show trial. The reason Stalin had to kill so many old Bolsheviks was he needed to establish himself as the most violent member of the party, the one member willing to kill in order to maintain power. Stalin was making himself into the most dangerous man in a dangerous world.

The party purges and show trials of the 1930’s coincided with what amounted to a genocide of the Russian peasants. Forced collectivization, execution squads and mass deportations wiped out close to half the agricultural output. Confiscation of crops resulted in widescale famine. It was all part of the revolution from the top in order to turn Russia into an industrial nation. in that regard, it worked. Manufacturing soared and whole cities were created to produce industrial goods.

The point here is the show trial is the bit of the iceberg we can see from outside the ruling regime. The part we don’t see is the party struggle over how to move forward with their stated agenda. In the age of Covid, which started with the chants of “build back better”, it is not unreasonable to see the current show trials in this light. The new rounds of Covid panic, which are a prelude to an autumn lockdown, suggest there is a power struggle inside the party as to how best to force the great reset.

The 18-month campaign against Covid has seen trillions shifted from the white middle-class to elements of the ruling class. The tech oligopoly has profited wildly from the massive changes in society in the name of Covid. Small business has been devastated, much in the same way the kulaks were crushed by Stalin. On the other hand, similar to Stalin’s revolution from above, the great reset is not going to plan. The purge of Trumpism did not end resistance to the party.

Another clue here is the slow maneuvering to pass what is being called an infrastructure plan but is in reality the end of the two-party charade. The $4T plan working its way through the Senate will lock in the gains made by the Left over the last year and foreclose any electoral resistance. The show trial appears to be an effort to whip up support on the left in order to force some elements of the right to sign onto what amounts to their own death certificate.

In our sissified age, the show trial is more about the show than the trial. In this case, men with guns were sent out to arrest the protestors and lock them away in dungeons around the capital. The party leaders lack the courage to bring these people in for a show trial, so they remain incommunicado. Instead of having them shot and air brushed from the history books, they are a silent voice in the proceeding, a reminder to the right side that behind the performance is a will to power.

This is why people should not be fooled by the collection of sissies they rolled out in the first phase. Sure, the those mall cops reading speeches provided to them by the party were ridiculous. One of them was barely literate. The typical mall Santa sees tougher action than these wimps saw on January 6th, but that was never the point of this highly orchestrated drama. Stalin’s show trials were not about public support. The public supported the victims. It was about party politics.

That is the other parallel worth considering. The victims of Stalin were on the side of policies that enjoyed broad public support. Stalin was easily able to overcome this by having control of the instruments of state power. This is why voting harder is not a path out of the current crisis. Your vote does not matter. Instead, what comes next is always what comes next when a ruling elite believes they are the embodiment of the revolutionary dream. The revolution from above will continue.

Unless and until it is stopped, of course. Unfortunately, the situation has deteriorated to the point that there’s now only one way that can be accomplished.

Red Dawn has broken

On the beam, with a caveat.

The Democrats’ RED DAWN: Yes, It’s A Communist Coup. But There Are Signs Of Hope
Remember John Milius’ 1984 classic movie, Red Dawn, in which Soviet and Cuban shock troops capture the town of Calumet CO? In one particularly compelling scene, the victorious occupiers execute Americans accused of conspiring with high school rebels who have been waging guerrilla warfare. But just before the Reds open fire, the condemned patriots start singing America the Beautiful.

I thought of that when reading Julie Kelly’s account of the January 6 Mostly Peaceful Protesters, still scandalously held in solitary confinement for their political opinions, singing the National Anthem every evening [January 6 Detainees Sing the National Anthem, July 18, 2021] Except this time, the enemy isn’t the Soviets: it’s Joe Biden and his—let’s face it—de facto Communist regime.

Hate to say it and all, truly I do, but at this point it might be about time we dropped the whole National Anthem/patriotism thing. The sad, sorry truth is that it’s an anthem for a nation that no longer exists except in rose-tinted memory, and cannot be brought back. Mourning the nation they’ve stolen from us and are in the process of dismantling it even as I type this is one thing; pure nostalgia is something altogether else, and if over-indulged will serve only to blunt the edge of a perfectly honed and well-justified rage, attenuating what of right ought to be a keen appetite for retribution until it’s nothing more than flabby futility.

These political prisoners’ “Days In Court” will be Stalinist show trials, designed to signal that opponents are “terrorists” and to make clear what the Regime has in mind for the Historic American Nation: legal and political harassment, then dispossession and, ultimately, Replacement. In the eyes of many Democrat officials and Leftist pundits, the so-called attack on the U.S. Capitol was “worse than 9/11”.

But there are signs of hope.

I must say I find the “signs of hope” he cites rather, umm, underwhelming. Could be that’s just me, though.

Maybe something remains of what truly unified Americans 20 years ago, when Saudi Muslim radicals—who shouldn’t have been in the country anyway—murdered 3,000 of our countrymen:

Unfortunately, rank-and-file Democrats seem be gulled their leaders. A poll from Echelon Insights in February reported the top concerns for Democrat voters:

  • Donald Trump supporters: 82 percent
  • White nationalism: 79 percent
  • Systemic racism: 77 percent

In contrast, Republicans said their top concerns are illegal immigration (81 percent) then lack of support for the police, and high taxes.

Not one issue among voters of the two parties overlaps. The two sides live in different worlds—what VDARE.com has called “America” and “Anti-America.”

The question we must ask is this: At what point do we realize a coup of unimaginable proportions has occurred, and our fate might be that of the Americans in Milius’ Red Dawn?

And the question we must answer remains the same: What, if anything, is to be done about that? Because, one way or another, it WILL be answered. It’s entirely up to us to see to it that it’s an answer we can live with—literally.

Are you tired of it yet?

Doc Zero is.

I’m weary of our ruling class sending the message that your home, business, and personal safety are at the mercy of violent Demcorat-approved grievance groups, but don’t you DARE do anything that makes the aristocracy in D.C. uncomfortable.

I’m tired of hearing the Abolish the Police Party demand limitless scrutiny and aggressive defunding of the police who protect the rest of us, but unquestioning support and increased funding for the police who protect THEM. Why not protect the Capitol with social workers, huh?

There are Democrat-controlled parts of the country where theft has literally been decriminalized, and not just during Democrat-approved riots. You have to stand and watch helplessly while your business is looted every day. But the rules are different for THEIR place of business.

The entire premise of the theatrical 1/6 hearings is supposedly that further “insurrections” are a serious threat that must be proactively addressed. That is FAR more true of Democrat-approved grievance riots. They were vastly larger, deadlier, and more likely to occur again.

No group that might contemplate barging into the Capitol was given billions of dollars in funding by politicized corporations, as BLM was. None of them enjoys anything like to the political and media support of the 2020 rioters, who even got a pass from coronavirus restrictions.

The Democrat Party normalized and celebrated political violence for months before the Capitol riots. Let’s have some hearings on THAT. Let’s talk about how incredibly dangerous it is for one Party to think it has a monopoly on grievance-mongering, street theater, and violence.

Let’s also have some hearings about how one Party thinks it has a monopoly on questioning the outcome of elections. We could roll video of top Dems, including sitting officials, doing that for HOURS. You want theater? I’ll make the popcorn and bring the tapes.

I’m not really interested in hearing any Democrat, or their GOP footstools, give tearful speeches about sacred democracy while their party systematically destroys every bit of protection for our elections and wantonly undermines every outcome they don’t like.

We have every reason to fear the full power of bloated, hyper-politicized government being turned against Americans who dissent from the ruling Party. Show trials designed to establish the predicate that dissenters are potential violent terrorists are not exactly reassuring.

There is no need to excuse or valorize anything that occurred on 1/6 to be disgusted by this week’s political spectacle. Our media tells us that “context” is everything. Well, in the full context of 2020, hysterics over 1/6 are absurd and hypocritical.

You can’t say THIS city is sacred ground, but THESE cities must be abandoned to mobs and criminals as lawless wastelands. Hell, most of D.C. outside the Capitol IS a lawless wasteland. You shrieking potentates can see murder factories through your barbed wire fences.

You can’t say THESE cops are sacred avatars of law and order whose actions merit no public scrutiny or investigation, but all the rest of them are trigger-happy racists who should be micromanaged, distrusted, disarmed, defunded, and replaced by community organizers.

You can’t say THIS politicized violence is totally unacceptable and should be prosecuted unto the end of time, but THESE people are allowed to use violence and vandalism whenever they feel the system is not addressing their grievances quickly enough.

You can’t tell me the 1st Amendment must be bypassed to silence “disinformation” because it might lead to “insurrection,” while embracing media outlets that spread Hands Up Don’t Shoot lies with wild abandon, resulting in real and immediate crime and violence.

When people who spent four years role-playing as “the Resistance” against a “stolen election” suddenly start telling us dissent and resistance are treason that will be punished without mercy, we know exactly what’s going on. It’s a grim story repeated throughout human history.

By all means, let’s have universal respect for universally RESPECTABLE elections. Let’s have zero tolerance for political violence. Let every American’s property be treated with the respect afforded to a congressman’s office. These hearings obviously aren’t about that.

No, they are not. As for telling them “You can’t say…” this, that, or anydamnedthing else, well, that’s EXACTLY what they’re doing. Yes, we’d all like to see the hearings you ask for above. We’d all like to see justice done, for these and a thousand other blatantly criminal, un-Constitutional, and outright treasonous acts. We aren’t going to get it—ANY of it. Not today, not tomorrow, not ever. Not if they have anything to say about it, we won’t. Which leaves us with just one question to be answered:

NOW what?

Requiem

SAY. HER. NAME.

The only video Ashli Babbitt’s mom has seen of her daughter on January 6 is a clip of her walking from Donald Trump’s speech to Capitol Hill. “That brings me peace,” Micki Witthoeft, Ashli’s mom, told me by phone on Wednesday. “She was in her zone, so happy, having a great day.”

“Until that son-of-a-bitch shot her.”

Nearly seven months after a United States Capitol Police officer shot Ashli Babbitt in the Capitol building on January 6, the government and subservient corporate news media still refuse to confirm the name of the federal officer who killed her. (Investigative journalist Paul Sperry recently reported the shooter likely is USCP Lt. Michael Byrd.) The Justice Department closed its investigation into her shooting in April and announced the unnamed officer would not face criminal charges.

Three USCP officers participated in an overdramatic public hearing before the January 6 select committee on Tuesday, often referring to protesters as “terrorists,” “insurrectionists,” and “traitors,” though not a single person arrested in the aftermath has been charged with terrorism, insurrection, or treason. They repeatedly claimed they thought they would be killed by the protesters. USCP officer Harry Dunn asked for a moment of silence in honor of Officer Brian Sicknick to once again promote the falsehood that he was killed in the line of duty.

But there was no moment of silence for Babbitt, an Air Force veteran and Air National Guardsman with eight deployments overseas, including to Iraq and Afghanistan, who actually was killed on January 6. There were no tears and table-pounding from crisis-actor cops or emotionally-fragile lawmakers mourning her premature death. Babbitt was just 35.

In fact, no one bothered to mention her name.

Witthoeft, 57, described her oldest child as “determined and strong willed.” A “tomboy” of sorts, Ashli always was up for adventure. While in high school, Ashli decided she wanted to join the military; Witthoeft said she signed a notarized document to allow Ashli to enroll in the Air Force at the age of 17. “September 11 strengthened her conviction to serve,” Witthoeft said.

Ashli graduated from El Capitan High School in Lakeside, California in 2003 and entered the U.S. Air Force. On her 21st birthday, Ashli sustained serious injuries in an explosion at Camp Bucca detention facility in Iraq and was airlifted to a hospital in Germany.

Ashli’s adventurous spirit, Witthoeft explained, is what motivated her daughter to travel alone from California to Washington, D.C. so she could listen to Donald Trump’s speech on January 6. “She was an avid Trump supporter, she knew that’s where she had to be,” Witthoeft said. “She went to all the [Trump] rallies if there was one nearby. She was the political one at our house.” At the time, Ashli and her husband, Aaron, were operating a pool cleaning company in southern California.

Video shows Babbitt with several other people, including police officers, outside the Speaker’s Lobby on the afternoon of January 6. Babbitt is seen yelling at officers stationed in front of a set of double doors, one with a broken window. USCP officers stepped aside a few moments later; people started to smash the glass of the locked doors. Babbitt then attempted to climb through one of the windows.

That’s when the officer, wearing gloves, lifted his firearm and shot her in the neck. She died almost immediately.

Witthoeft remembers getting the call from her daughter-in-law at work. “We knew from the news reports that someone had been shot and killed at the Capitol. So when she called to say Ashli was shot, I just knew. I could tell in her voice. We hoped there was time to pack a bag and get to D.C., but there wasn’t.”

Witthoeft said “red tape” and the military-style lockdown in the capital caused a long delay in getting Babbitt’s body back home. In February, Babbitt was cremated and her remains scattered into the Pacific Ocean near her favorite dog park.

Three days later, after sleeping on her belongings awaiting her return, Babbitt’s beloved German Shepherd died.

And if you don’t find all this heartbreaking, well, you’re nobody I ever want to be in the same room with.

Umm, actually, I take that back.

A few weeks after Ashli was killed, Witthoeft said she finally took her head off her pillow and started making calls. A staffer for Senator Dianne Feinstein’s (D-Calif.) office at first hung up on her, insisting he didn’t know who Ashli Babbitt was. Witthoeft called again; the same staffer answered. She asked to speak with her senator for two minutes. “Ma’am, I am sorry for your unfortunate situation but if your daughter hadn’t stormed the Capitol, she wouldn’t have been shot,” Witthoeft said the staffer told her. “Dianne Feinstein will never have two minutes for you.”

Yep, I take it back. I’d give anything to have about five minutes alone in the same room with that arrogant, cruel piece of shit. Just five minutes, that’s all.

My God. Your tax dollars at work, people. Compare, contrast:

Donald Trump called Witthoeft on July 1. He spoke very warmly about Ashli and talked about the political prisoners held without bond in a D.C. jail for months awaiting trial or plea offers. The people who went to Washington on January 6, Witthoeft said, were “true patriots doing what [the president] told them to do. They believed this was a stolen election.”

Which is nothing more than the plain, self-evident truth. That Trump made time to speak with Ashli’s mom speaks well of him, I must say. Meanwhile, Feinstein’s filthwad staffer is by no means the only one I’d happily give my left testicle for some quality alone-time with.

Her family’s grief has been compounded by the media’s grotesque portrayal of their loved one as a “QAnon conspiracy theorist,” or worse, a traitor who got what she deserved. And such vile comments aren’t coming only from Democrats or leftist nutjobs such as Keith Olbermann. This week, Senator Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) told a caller on a Fargo radio station that Babbitt was a “criminal” and the public is not entitled to know the identity of the federal officer who killed her. “[W]hat would be the purpose of releasing that officer’s name?” Cramer fumed at the caller’s demand to release his name. “What do you need to know the officer’s name for?”

The first-term Republican senator said he is “grateful” for the officer who shot Babbitt.

Representative Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.) defended the shooting in a C-SPAN interview this week. Recalling his interaction with the officer after Babbitt was killed, Mullin said, “I gave him a hug and I said, ‘sir, you did what you had to do.’” Mullin never mentioned Babbitt’s name.

Okay, if you aren’t absolutely trembling with rage at this point, might want to have someone near at hand check you for a pulse. Because you almost certainly don’t have one. In fact, it should be throbbing quite visibly in the veins running below and beside your tightly-clenched teeth, dangerously close to bursting them wide open at this gut-wrenching story.

“It’s infuriating,” Witthoeft told me. “She was there exercising her First Amendment rights. This country was founded on brave men and women and I feel like that’s what our patriots were doing,” Witthoeft also said she sings the National Anthem every night at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time in solidarity with the January 6 detainees held in a D.C. jail, who sing the song every night at 9:00 p.m. in the East. “We’re fighting for justice for all of them.”

Witthoeft, however, is comforted by the outpouring of love and support from so many Americans “lifting up Ashli’s name.” She hopes it results in a “betterment of America.”

A nice thought, generous almost to a fault. Alas, there’s only one way for that to happen now, I’m afraid. And “nice” won’t have anything to do with it.

And her message to those who smear her late daughter’s name? “You only have awful things to say? Well, my daughter fought for your right to say them.”

“You’re welcome.”

No. No, non, nein, nyet, nie. The one and only thing those wretched abominations—the heartless, soulless flatworms just mentioned, along with the USCP thugs, Pelosi, Feinstein herself, and all the rest of Mordor On The Potomac’s repulsive panoply of orcs, trolls, and werewolves—are “welcome” to as far as I’m concerned is excruciating pain and a protracted, agonizing death while screaming. Afterwards, a fitting “memorial” commemorating lives squandered in single-minded pursuit of self-indulgence, ill-gotten riches, and power: a prominent place adorning trees and/or lampposts for them along the Capitol Mall, their mouldering corpses left to swing gently in the breeze until the buzzards have eaten their fill. Those things they’re “welcome” to, and nothing whatsoever more.

Call it their just deserts, say. I repeat: if, after reading this, you are NOT suffused with blinding, inchoate, choking rage, there is DEFINITELY something badly wrong with you.

“Safety” über alles, “safety” macht frei

Sooner or later, it always seems to come down to the same old thing with these fascist assholes, don’t it?

Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers to Label Unvaccinated Players with Yellow Wristbands

What, they ran out of those yellow stars or something? Meh, no matter. I would like to hereby recommend that all us murdering (Not)Vaxx-resistant Schweinehunde be forced to have little numbers tattooed on our forearms, starting immediately. That ought to make the situation crystal clear to everybody, once and for all.

“Who’s in denial” Part the Second

Been waiting with bated breath for the second installment of Claire Wolf’s characteristically brilliant magnum opus to drop, and finally it has.

Who’s in denial about our current cultural and political state of collapse?

Most everybody. Millions of ordinary people who think bad times are always temporary are in denial. Oligarchs and plutocrats who believe we ordinary people are eternally tractable and malleable are in denial. Intellectuals who believe increasing quantities of fashionable nonsense are in denial. Politicians and their handlers who believe they can rule by fiat without consequences are in denial. Fools who imagine “the science” is a religion and that dissent from any statement by a high priest government-approved scientist is heresy are in denial.

I’ve been in denial about the true depth of our circumstances and about how truly evil (and insane) our new totalitarians are. I venture to say every one of us is in denial about something pertinent to freedom’s future. Even the best of us have blind spots, no matter how much we pride ourselves on having clear heads and open eyes.

Anyone who doesn’t see that we’re in deep, deep trouble must be very carefully NOT looking. Yet even the most clear-headed can’t see the future.

And by “future” I don’t mean a year or 10 years or a century from now (though that, too). I mean what might happen tomorrow. Or what’s happening today that we just haven’t found out about yet.

But who can blame those who yawn and go on with life? Yesterday no doubt brought some equally shocking, horrifying, or scandalous news. Tomorrow will bring more word of the ridiculous, the invasive, the totalitarian, the impossible. Some days we might get hit with two or three or four such outrages. Which one do you adopt as your cause when by tomorrow morning five more equally outrage-worthy acts will have fallen to your attention?

This is not apathy. This is not even the famous “outrage fatigue.” This is a sign of fatal decline. People know either that they can’t do a damn thing against the onrushing absurdities and evils or that they’ll try to accomplish something and be trapped forever in a game of Whack-A-Mole.

It’s chilling, as well, when you remember Voltaire: “Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.”
I’ll update Voltaire for our times: “Those who believe absurdities and force silence upon doubters, ensure atrocities.”

Good people are famously slow to perceive real evil. Famously slow to react radically (in the original meaning of striking at the root of a problem) once they realize conventional solutions no longer avail them. Once pushed to the wall good people can be famously more dangerous than their would-be masters acknowledge. Still, we’re slow — often tragically slow. We act only after the thing we love is already lost or crumbling.

That’s particularly true when we understand that virtually everything we read or hear is a lie, a distortion, a manipulation, or a sheer display of moonbattery. We realize we’ve been disenfranchised. Self-appointed (or dubiously elected) political and cultural leaders can get away with any damn thing they please. And they’re all rushing to do their dirty deeds as fast as they can, before we can catch on to what they’re doing, let alone react. So far, this tactic seems to be working in their favor.

But then, sometimes rapid shifts toward evil or insanity work to the advantage of We the Deplorables, as well.

Okay, enough with the excerptin’. As with Part the First, Claire takes a deep dive into American history to help shape her argument, but this time out she throws some of the less-well-known and seldom-discussed aspects of that era into the mix. It’s all solid stuff, a genuine, all-caps MUST READ. Hie thee thither.

I repeat: who they are, what they do

Yet another one that could just as well have been an update to an earlier post, but I thought should be broken out into a new one.

Get Vaccinated – or Else
The Left wants to make life hell for the non-compliant.

In other news, dog bites man.

Nothing triggers Democrats quite like non-compliance with their collectivist agenda, because for all their blustery blather about saving democracy from fascist Trump supporters, and beneath their micro-thin veneer of “tolerance and inclusiveness,” Progressives are totalitarians. The slightest resistance to their transformative, utopian vision elicits authoritarian rage. Case in point: the left has run out of patience with Americans who are resisting the COVID-19 vaccination.

At the end of June, the propaganda rag The New York Times published an opinion piece whose title signaled the left’s growing frustration with the vaccine skeptics: “Vaccine Mandates Are Coming. Good.” Last weekend, The St. Louis Dispatch posted a letter that captured the mood of the totalitarians even more honestly. It was titled, “Enough already. Punish those who refuse the vaccine.”

Last Saturday on CNN, Leana Wen, former president of Planned Parenthood, tried to make the coercive case that life should be made difficult for those deplorable holdouts who still haven’t caved in to the increasing social and governmental pressure to receive a vaccine shot. “It needs to be hard for people to remain unvaccinated,” Wen stated baldly. “Right now, it’s kind of the opposite. Basically, we need to make getting vaccinated the easy choice.”

You would think that someone who ran an organization whose mantra was “my body, my choice” would be more supportive of Americans who are justifiably reluctant to accept an emergency-authorized-but-not-FDA-approved vaccine to combat a virus for which the survival rate hovers around 99%. But no. The left is determined to decide what choice you get to make, and when.

Who. They. ARE. What. They. DO.

“It’s time for Biden to make the case for vaccine requirements,” Wen wrote on July 6 at the radical Washington Post, where she is an opinion contributor. She went on to lament that the White House’s Fourth of July celebration “could have been a chance to show that vaccination isn’t just an individual decision, but one that affects the health of others — including those already vaccinated.” That’s odd: shouldn’t the already-vaccinated be unaffected by the health of others?

The entertainment-media complex demonizes holdouts as too stupid to see the wisdom of unquestioningly accepting the government’s free-and-easy vaccine. Moronic Joy Behar, hateful co-host of the long-running, daytime gab-fest The View, opined recently that teenagers should be allowed to get vaccinated without the consent of their unwoke, “ignorant parents.” Funny how the left is always trying to drive a wedge between impressionable children and their un-Progressive parents, like offering them birth control or hormone therapy to get them started transitioning to a different sex.

Tuesday on CNN’s OutFront, former Obama administration Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said that Americans who have not received their “Fauci ouchie” should not be allowed to go to work or be around children, and should be restricted in their movements.

I have a counterproposal for dear ol’ Kathleen and her fellow ProgNazis: she or her minions try to “restrict my movements,” they get a blast of double-ought buck right in their pinched, smarmy yaps in response. Lather, rinse, repeat, until they’re all reducing to quivering, blubbering ragbags at the mere sight of me and/or mine within a hundred yards of wherever they might be skulking—indoors or out, in public or in private, at home or elsewhere. That work for y’all?

Sebelius and her fellow totalitarians don’t understand that freedom-loving Americans have a kneejerk resistance to being pressured and threatened by the government, particularly when that government has demonstrated lethal incompetence in handling the pandemic, and when its medical “experts” have a political agenda and regularly contradict and/or refuse to abide by their own recommendations.

I beg to differ. They understand it full well, don’t like it, and aren’t going to put up with it now that they believe their hold on unrestricted power can never be broken by us lowly serfs.

The fact is, the COVID-19 pandemic is about government control of the populace, and has been from the very beginning when it was seized upon by the left as a strategy to torpedo Donald Trump’s 2020 election chances. Now that the Democrats hold the reins of political power, they continue to use it to manipulate Americans to live in fear and to accept greater and greater government control over every aspect of their lives. The totalitarian left needs to exaggerate and perpetuate the threat of this virus. It empowers them.

Bingo. It continues to amuse me, the way so many of those putatively on our side blithely gloat on and on about how all this demonstrates how “desperate” they are; how uncertain their position is; how much they “fear us” (because of “muh guns” or something). Sadly, no. I hold this truth to be self-evident: these despicable curs don’t fear us anywhere NEAR enough. That needs to change, just as quickly as it can be made to happen, as noted anti-socialism writer John Basil Barnhill warned:

In 1914, a version of the “fear” quote was delivered by John Basil Barnhill an author and lecturer engaged in a debate against Socialism in the form of a series of battling articles sponsored by the National Rip Saw Publishing Company in St. Louis Missouri, who said:

“When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny.”

Barnhill went on to warn the public of this new and liberty-destroying message of Socialism which claimed Capitalism to be the source of the current (1914) economic woes. Barnhill rather, placed the blame on monopoly.

It is amazing how the narrative has not changed in over a hundred years. Keep in mind, this debate took place before the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 and the subsequent evidence of the results of Socialism and Communism. This is also the general period of the writings of C.S. Lewis, G.K. Chesterton, Eric Voegelin, and Hilare Belloc–warning against the same dangers.

Wise men, all of them, who knew whereof they spoke. Present-day Americans must pay heed, before the liberty stolen from them by much lesser sorts is beyond retrieving.

Is “mind your own fucking business” a good enough reason for ya?

Because for me it sure is. Not that there aren’t plenty of others.

The “hesitant” – as people who aren’t interested in trusting the pharmaceutical cartels or the government to “keep them safe” from a sickness that doesn’t meaningfully threaten them are being styled – have more than just that reason to eschew the “vaccine” that’s being hard-sold like a time-share condo.

It is a reason that goes beyond everything being discussed – and yet isn’t being discussed much. Hence the importance of discussing it.

That reason is, simply,: If they can do it this time they can do it the next time. And the time after that, ongoing.

Which you can rest assured are only a little bit further on down this road we’re on. But Eric is after much bigger game here.

It is no longer merely the law that is the violator of natural rights. Corporations are now arguably a much greater threat to them since they aren’t even obliged to pass laws for that purpose. They can postulate policies – and these have the force and effect of laws in a system such as ours, because corporations control practically all employment and the peripheral things that are necessary to employment, such as banks – without which it is rather difficult to get paid by a corporate employer or even do business independently of corporate employment.

If these corporations set forth a policy that everyone who is employed by the corporation or wishes to do business with the corporation must provide proof they have been injected with whatever they say people must be injected with, then it becomes extremely difficult for most people to decline to be injected because most people have to work in order to live.

And they have to work – to the end of their lives – because of the government, which steals a third to half of what they earn and then steals more, endlessly, in the form of such things as what are styled “taxes” applied to their very homes, such that they can only remain in those home so long as they continue paying the “taxes”  – which obliges almost all of them to work until they die. Which applies tremendous economic pressure to submit to whatever the corporations that employ the majority of them require they submit to.

Fait meets accompli.

Some will defend the supposed “right” of “private” corporations to impose whatever policies they wish but this is a suicidally idiotic defense of the primary thing destroying the  concept of private property. Corporations are government property, in the first place. Creations of government, for purposes that benefit the government and the corporations – always at a cost to natural rights. It’s just their policy – and you’re free to work somewhere else! Except everywhere else has the same policies – and they are all protected by the same government.

If most people weren’t so enserfed by a system that keeps them that way by violating their right to property at every turn, the property of their bodies would not be threatened at every turn. They could say no – without repercussions – because their right to say no would be regarded as the natural law, as it once was.

Instead, we have case law – and now a case is being made to compel everyone to roll up their sleeves for this “vaccine.” Which will become the next “vaccine,” once the precedent is established. Which will set the precedent for the literal surrender of control over our very bodies to the government-corporate nexus, for whatever “treatment” they decide we require.

Like animals being taken to the vet.

And that is why principled refusal is so critically important, the hill that must be defended at all costs – else it will cost us everything.

Precisely so. You never yield so much as a single solitary inch to Lefty or his “sacred” government. Because he’ll forever be coming back for more, again and again, until he’s taken absolutely everything. That’s who he is, it’s what he does.

Update!Get in line, get the jab or exit society.

Kathleen Sebelius, former Secretary of Health and Human Services under the Obama administration, has made some stunning remarks in regards to those who refuse to get the (authorized for emergency use only) Covid vaccines.

Talking to CNN, Sebelius said,

“We’re in a situation where we have a wildly effective vaccine, multiple choices, lots available, free of charge, and we have folks who are just saying I won’t do it. I think that it’s time to say to those folks, it’s fine if you don’t choose to get vaccinated. You may not come to work. You may not have access to a situation where you’re going to put my grandchildren in jeopardy. Where you might kill them, or you might put them in a situation where they’re going to carry the virus to someone in a high-risk position.”

If you are skeptical about their effectiveness, too bad!

If you are fearful of their many dangerous side effects including death, get over it!

If knowing you can still get Covid after getting the dangerous jab has turned you off, suck it up!

Looks like “my body, my choice” only applies to abortion, eh? Of course, there’s a much shorter way of saying what Sibelius and the rest of her loathsome ilk really mean: OBEY, OR BE PUNISHED.

Spicy time cometh, and that right soon

Shit’s about to get really, really REAL, folks.

BREAKING: Biden Admin Calls for UN to Investigate ‘Racism’ on US Soil
Biden regime Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has officially called for the United Nations to occupy American Soil in the name of investigating ‘racism’ in the United States today.

“Responsible nations must not shrink from scrutiny of their human rights record. Rather, they should be transparent with the intent to grow and do better. That is why I’m announcing a formal invitation for @UN Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism to visit the U.S.” Blinken tweeted out Tuesday night.

“I urge all U.N. member states to join the United States in this effort, and confront the scourge of racism, racial discrimination, and xenophobia,” the Secretary continued. The seemingly sudden move is in the wake of the UN Resolution to condemn racism and racist police brutality earlier in the day. Secretary Blinken expressed support for the measure.

The unprecedented announcement comes as the Biden Regime advocates ‘anti racist’ ideals as a way of stifling political opposition. National File has covered the Biden Regime’s anti-white practices in the military, economic subsidies, support for critical race theory, and more.

What is perhaps even more troubling is that Biden is inviting the Globalist United Nations to come occupy US soil, with the potential to even propose laws and policies to Biden and the government. As the Biden Regime tightens it’s grip on power, the invitation of foreign agents to U.S. soil may represent a major escalation.

Gee, ya think? Okay, I have questions:

  • SRSLY? I mean, come on, SRSLY?!?!
  • Can they REALLY be this stupid, this oblivious, this blindly arrogant?
  • Do they not realize that the very idea of UN boots—no, nobody’s mentioned actual Blue Helmet gangstas yet, just a Special Rapporteur, whatever the fuck that may be, but does anybody imagine they won’t be bringing it up in due course? Baby steps, people, baby steps—on the ground right here in the US has always been absolute anathema to millions upon millions of Americans, who have long and rightly considered it the final straw, the spark that will set the national fuse alight?
  • Do they just not give a damn?
  • Are they so far gone in wet-dreams of total and unchallengeable capital-P Power that they truly expect us to sit still for this shit without demur?
  • Have they forgotten about the word “intolerable” and the pivotal role it played in America’s Founding? Do they even know what the word means?
  • Can it actually be their intention to instigate armed, to-the-death revolt against the illegitimate FUSAn tyranny? If not, then what would they be doing differently if it was?

Whatever the answers to the above questions might be, our would-be masters know not what they do. Methinks they’re making a bad, bad mistake here. This is precisely the sort of thing that will serve to activate those who have been waiting, ever more impatiently, for just such a provocation to set certain things in motion; to alert those more-cautious types who are still on the fence as to their dire peril; to awaken those who are not yet quite convinced of the harsher realities of the situation, the true nature of The Enemy, and who still cling to the dear delusion of a FederalGovCo worthy of their trust and allegiance.

We’ve all debated, all too many times, propositions along the lines of, “If Americans took (the Russiagate scam, impeachment, FBI/CIA/DoJ criminality, Barr/Durham theater, lockdowns/mask mandates, stolen elections, etc) without acting, then they’ll go along with (the latest outrage) too.” Many of us have speculated on exactly what might be taking Real Americans so long, what more could possibly be required to get them off their duffs and doing the necessary. Looks like we’re soon going to have our answers.

I’ve offered my own ideas on what the straw that breaks the camel’s back might actually be, and have been forced by developments to revise my opinion more than once. At the risk of making myself look even more foolish than I already do, I’ll state for the record that I’m quite sure that the abominable affront of our own fucking government *puke* bringing in proven-corrupt UN officials onto American soil for the purpose of “investigating” guiltless whypeepo on their innate and unacceptable RAYCISS!™ tendencies WILL bring direct and immediate consequences. Count on it.

See ya, wouldn’t wanna be ya

Unexpectedly, inadvertently, and for the first and only time in his entire useless existence, senile alleged “President” Grampy Fingerbang has done the right thing.

Good Riddance, Afghanistan
merican forces are finally departing Afghanistan. While Donald Trump had promised to end the inconclusive war there, he eventually gave in to the pleas of the defense and intelligence community and continued the war. Other than a few dozen more dead Americans, and a few more hundreds of billions of dollars up in smoke, it’s not clear what these additional years of effort achieved. Now Joe Biden has finally acknowledged the political and military reality: if we haven’t lost, we certainly are not winning or making any progress.

One of the most remarkable things about the last few weeks is how utterly brittle the Afghan security forces and government have turned out to be. After billions of dollars spent on training, equipment, and support, the Afghan National Army is abandoning large bases, along with state-of-the-art guns, optics, and military equipment. These are now in the hands of the Taliban. For all the talk of our Afghan partners and their heroic national commitment to democracy, none of it turned out to be worth much when the training wheels were taken away.

It is not even clear if the American-supported Afghan government will last as long as the Soviet supported regime, which held on for three years after the Soviet withdrawal in 1989.

While it is clearly time to leave, it is worth thinking for a moment about why the entire Afghanistan mission, particularly after 2002, was a fool’s errand.

The mission became distorted over time. After 9/11, Americans wanted revenge. That mission was a simple one: punish the Taliban, destroy al-Qaeda, and capture or kill Osama bin Laden. Within a month of the attacks, our troops were in the field.

The campaign featured a novel operational approach. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld wanted to show the military that it needed to learn to do more with less. His concept of “transformation” limited troop numbers, a feature of what was called the “Revolution in Military Affairs.” This theory proposed that the combined effects of high-speed communications, sophisticated sensors, and precision air power, would succeed where the traditional military’s risk-averse, heavy footprint would fail.

At first it seemed Rumsfeld and the revolutionaries were right. Very quickly, the Taliban melted away under pressure from American special forces, the Afghan Northern Alliance, and a fusillade of precision guided bombs in the months after 9/11.

But the first hint of trouble appeared soon thereafter. In the Battle of Tora Bora and later in Operation Anaconda, the Army’s lack of artillery (on Rusmfeld’s order) and the lack of sufficient blocking troops allowed the lion’s share of al-Qaeda, including Bin Laden, to slip away and obtain refuge in Pakistan’s lawless tribal areas. He wouldn’t be killed for another decade.

Unable to use our forces in our nominal ally’s territory, the United States and NATO emphasized the secondary aspects of the mission. They got to work on “nation building.” Political and military leaders defended this approach as enlightened realism, because al-Qaeda flourished at the extremes, in either weak states or politically repressive ones. Developing governing institutions and security forces, while expanding human rights to women and minorities, would create enduring stability and reverse the conditions in which al-Qaeda previously thrived.

This was an ambitious strategy, made twice as hard by the artificially low levels of troops. It became even more challenging after the start of the Iraq venture, which put Afghanistan on the backburner until the 2009 surge. Afghanistan is a famously violent and tribal place, where disparate tribes only unite under the banner of Islam to expel foreign invaders. The American concepts of democracy and liberalism were a message that worked at cross purposes to our efforts to obtain legitimacy and security. After all, these changes slowed down the decision-making of the Afghan government, while also alienating many Afghans, Taliban or not.

The biggest mistake we made in Afghanistan was presuming we had to turn the Middle East into an American-style democracy in order to have peace. We presumed we had to rectify the root causes in order to maintain national security. The same scenario played out in Iraq, Libya, and Syria. In all of these cases, our efforts did not increase our security or enhance stability, and sometimes made things worse.

More limited and realistic options were available, including the old fashioned punitive raid. Wrecking a place sends a message too, a message of deterrence. Because we viewed it as our duty to lift up the Afghans—strange people with whom we have no historical or other connections—and because no one wanted to admit the flawed foundations of the war, we ended up there for 20 years, long after most of al-Qaeda had decamped for Pakistan.

Even accepting the strategic premise, it’s not clear that anything we did enhanced stability or reduced international terrorism. Afghanistan has been in a state of civil war since our arrival. ISIS also materialized in the meantime. Al-Qaeda is still around. And attacks within the United States by immigrants and home-grown Islamic terrorists have continued the entire time.

By trying to do too much, we accomplished too little. The U.S. military is perfectly capable of bombing, killing, and capturing people. But, even with the help of its second army of contractors and do-gooder NGOs, the United States is not particularly good at nation building. We are no longer the America of the Marshall Plan, and the people of Afghanistan are not the same as Germans, Japanese, or even Iraqis for that matter.

To turn disorder into order is a difficult thing. Democracy is probably not the best tool for doing it. Historically, liberal democracy is normally an end stage form of government, not a foundational one. Moreover, our entire approach does little to account for the strict Islam of the Afghan people and their pre-Islamic tribalism. This comprehensive religion, coupled with this cultural inheritance, is not fertile soil for a democracy, let alone a liberal one.

Leaving Afghanistan does not diminish the bravery of our soldiers, the magnitude of the 9/11 attacks, or the need to avenge those deaths and remain vigilant against terror threats.

But we are neither avenging nor remaining vigilant in Afghanistan today. Since 2002 or so, we have been going in circles against a local resistance to our presence. Any temporary gains soon evaporate, as we lack sufficient troops to hold what we have cleared, and the Afghan security forces are woefully inadequate to consolidate the gains. The overall connection of any of this activity to U.S. security is minimal.

Our feckless, thoroughly politicized general-officer corps turned the Graveyard of Empires into the Playground of the Ruling Class, their own private test-bed for weapons systems, surveillance technology, and tactical doctrine. The experiments and aimless fiddle-fucking around cost too many good soldiers their lives, shattering morale and unit cohesion without producing anything of notable use. American troops trained to kick ass and take names were forced to bleed and die under preposterous ROEs that put them at severe hazard while granting every advantage to a savage and deadly foe.

From early on, it became all too clear that Afghanistan was to be an open-ended campaign in which victory would remain undefined, unpursued, and beyond reach, the ultimate outcome a foregone conclusion. The Playground should have been shut down years ago. The hapless Biden deserves no credit for it whatsoever, but I’m glad to see this unholy mess finally grinding to a halt, however ignoble and humiliating a one it might be. The FUSA—its “leaders,” its subjects, and its military—bears a moral obligation to not even dream of launching another war of any kind or magnitude until the multifarious issues raised by its Afghanistan dumpster fire have been properly addressed.

Leggo my…ummm…

Lego? SRSLY?

A mere thirty-six hours after I interviewed Julie Kelly and Mollie Hemingway about the Lego Insurrection, the United States Government filed a “supplemental memorandum” with the Court:

In the original detention memoranda, the undersigned stated that law enforcement found a “fully constructed U.S. Capitol Lego set.” Please note that after a review of the photographs from the search, there appears to have been a miscommunication and that statement appears to be inaccurate. The Lego set was in a box and not fully constructed at the time of the search, as pictured below.

Judging from the picture below, “not fully constructed” is a characteristically DoJ evasion for “not constructed at all”. See for yourself: as we do with Mann vs Steyn and Katz vs Steyn, at SteynOnline we like to post the original court documents.

“The undersigned” is Assistant US Attorney Melissa Jackson. Inventing eye-catching “evidence” that catches the fancy of the world’s media would be a big no-no if you did it, but it appears to be standard operating procedure at the Department of “Justice”. And, oddly enough, all the news outlets that reported on the horror of the smoking Lego gun of the Lego Capitol have failed to correct their breathless reports about the “fully constructed” building.

The United States has more corrupt prosecutors than the rest of the “free world” combined: whether you’re talking about Cosby and Epstein or the FISA court, what would be a disqualifying “lack of candor to the tribunal” in most Common Law systems is just the way these guys do business.

Mr Morss’ latest bail hearing is tomorrow: There is no reason for him to be behind bars for another seven months. Which is the prosecutors’ earliest estimate of a trial date – although, of course, in the end there will be no trial: The point of gaoling someone for over a year supposedly to await his constitutionally guaranteed speedy trial is that it’s much easier to lean on him to “settle”. There’s a reason the DoJ wins 97 per cent of its cases without trial.

This is an evil and indefensible system. To those rock-ribbed conservative talk-show hosts insisting that they know all the good patriotic men and women at the FBI and it’s just a few bad apples at the top, I ask again: Where is there a single G-man who has objected to the Bureau’s degeneration into enforcers for the Deep State? Browbeating George Papadopoulos’ wife into losing her baby. Abusing Roger Stone’s elderly wife. Stringing along with the #BLM fake noose. And now faking headline bollocks out of a Lego set. Every FBI agent has gone along with all of the above.

It would be nice if some of those so-called Republican legislators demanded some accountability from federal “justice”, wouldn’t it?

Ah, but they’re waiting for the Durham Report! Durham will get ’em, wait and see! Any day now!

Oh, you just go ahead and snark away, smart guy. You’ll be talking out the other side of your mouth after we retake Congress in ’22, then re-elect Trump (again) in ’24.

Hey, it could happen. In another country, on another planet, in another galaxy, in another dimensional interstice. You betcher!

The unbridgeable abyss

The parable of the wolf and the dog is entirely too apt.

French poet Jean de la Fontaine elegantly illustrated the human condition through his Fables, one of which named “The Wolf and the Dog” involves a famished wolf who spotted a well-fed guard dog and conversed with him, since the dog was too healthy to be an easy prey.

The guard dog tells the wolf to leave the forest and come work for the dog’s masters in return for abundant food, shelter, and the occasional pat on the head. The wolf seems almost convinced but then notices the dog’s collar.

“What is that?,” he asks the dog.

“Oh, that,” says the dog. “It’s just my leash… my masters tie me up when they don’t need me to guard their livestock.”

The wolf is horrified: “You mean you are not allowed to run the hills and go wherever you like?”

“Well, no, but what’s so important about that,” says the dog. “As long as I’m fed, sheltered and looked after?”

And the wolf replies as he backs away, “I don’t mind spending some of my days on an empty stomach and would never surrender my freedom for any treasure.”

There are two kinds of people whose respective worldviews clash for dominance: those who value the immaterial and those who value the material. The latter seems to be the more popular side.

T’was ever thus, and t’will ever be. Now perhaps more than ever it’s crucial for Team Liberty to keep that inescapable reality in mind; it’s just part of the human condition, really, and the abyss it represents will forever yawn before us. Big-picture-wise, it all boils down to the eternal conflict between A) the fearful Many, who are eager to place their fates in the hands of (what they hope will turn out to be) a benelovent master; and B) the doughty Few, who prefer to seek their own path, run their own lives, and forge their own destiny with as little interference from or supervision by official authority as possible.

It is virtually impossible to argue with the pro-vaccine passport people and vice versa because we simply are two distinct kinds of people and such people cannot agree on anything because their priorities are radically different. Those against the vaccine passport and microchips inserted in our bodies are merely arguing for individual freedom and the right to be free to make decisions concerning our own bodies.

These people (the pro vaccine passport types) do not want to consider that the passport is a proxy, a method to filter out the compliant from the non-compliant, most probably for later punishment by this world’s corporate overlords. Those obedient will have their vaccine passport to show and will be left to placidly graze the corporate fields of consumerism.

At the same time the passport will serve to designate those who do not carry it as de facto diseased, to be avoided, shunned, and persecuted, even though no proof exists that they are either ill or are voluntarily spreading any disease. If you do not have a vaccine passport, you are a criminal. Period.

Our corporate overlords assume we are just like them, evil inside and out, and intent on harming others by spreading contagious illnesses like Covid.

Disagree. I think they perceive us not as “like them” at all, but simply as sheep to be herded, corraled, and sheared. I strongly doubt there are many, if any, of those corporate types who aren’t fully awake to the Fauxvid scam by now. Make no mistake, folks: as with their government partners in crime, the “concern” of those corporate overlords in no way involves keeping anybody from harm. It’s about keeping everybody corraled, submissive, and under their control.

Found via a commenter here, who quips “I am a trans-vaxxite. (I am not vaccinated but identify as vaccinated. And if you do not like it, you are a trans-phobe. Let us use their methods against them.)” Heh. I’m with ya all the way on that one, Alex.

They ARE coming for us

As Francis notes, via a Glenn Beck quote: First they nudge, then they shove, then they shoot.

Why is this administration so insanely anxious to get everyone vaccinated, even children and people who had COV?

More and more, we hear people demanding unconstitutional and mandatory vaccinations. They are just parroting what they hear. Americans have been terrorized into thinking this is appropriate.

Will the government come after us over the flu and pneumonia next?

As has already been demonstrated to at least my own satisfaction, they will use whatever pretext they feel they need to to put you securely, completely, and permanently under the FederalGovCo thumb. Count on it, people.

A CNN medical analyst, Dr. Jonathan Reiner said on Thursday that it’s time has come for private industry to demand that employees take “the jab” or face the economic ruination of themselves and their families.

In other words, you’re a murderer if you don’t do what they say.

CNN’s Erin Burnett asked Reiner about it on “OutFront.”

“Given where things are going, is it time to move on from saying please to mandating?” Burnett asked.

Reiner responded, “I do think it’s time to start mandating vaccines. And I think that the private industry and private organizations will do that. At GW university, where I work, starting in fall, you can’t be on campus unless you’re fully vaccinated.”

“We’re at the part of the pandemic now where the problem in this country is that 150 million Americans are not vaccinated. Half of that number is less than 18 years of age. But let’s look at the adults. Seventy-five-million adults have chosen not to get vaccinated.”

He added, “That choice has consequences. Now, we can’t force you to take a jab in the arm. But there are many jobs, perhaps, that can prevent you from working if you decide not to get vaccinated. So I think we need to be more proactive, and we will see industry take the lead in this.”

To quote Porretto again, the hour of decision is upon us. I can only speak for myself, but I repeat: when the Gestapo swine come to force their Mark Of The Beast injection on me, they better make goddamned sure to bring help along. I do NOT intend to go gently into that good night, and anyone reading this shouldn’t either.

Oh, and speaking of using any pretext they can conjure, no matter how ludicrous, to pimp the 666 Shot.

President Joe Biden’s administration responded to protests in Cuba against the Communist regime on Sunday by issuing a statement through a minor official commending protests “about rising COVID cases/deaths & medicine shortages.”

On Sunday, protests broke out in Havana and several other Cuban cities, during which people chanted “Freedom!” and “Down with the dictatorship!” while marching against Communist Party institutions. The New York Times noted that while the demonstrations were triggered by “food and medicine shortages,” they also “openly protested against the Communist government” for the first time in nearly 30 years. Some activists called it the largest spontaneous popular protest since Fidel Castro took power in 1959, with protesters openly denouncing the regime of Miguel Diaz-Canel.

The administration’s statement ignored democracy and freedom altogether.

Well, of course it did. Why on earth would it not? Both of those are total irrelevancies in the FUSA now, not even worthy of making jokes about.

Cubans do not have the “right to peaceful assembly”; like many rights in the Cuban Constitution, it exists only in theory.

Yeah, well, hate to bust your bubble and all pal, but that applies equally well to certain other toilet-paper Constitutions I could name.

But let’s not beat around any bushes regarding why the clumsily-handled marionette Biden might make such a ridiculous statement. Our Mordor On The Potomac overlords fell short of their July 4 target badly; “vaccination” rates have slowly ground to a halt since; and the Shadow Men are perfectly willing to humiliate both themselves and their witless sock-puppet so as to keep the skeer on us as best they can, for as long as they can make it last.

I will say this in no uncertain terms, so there’s no mistake about it:

  • I WILL NOT SUBMIT to being injected with the phony, dangerous “vaccine” under ANY circumstances, and
  • I WILL NOT willingly, peaceably just sit back and starve because of that perfectly lawful, reasonable, and personal choice; there WILL be repercussions for any such demand, mandate or expectation, whether governmental or corporate, and you WILL NOT like them

Period. Fucking. DOT. I’m happy to take as my inspiration one of the best scenes from one of the greatest movies ever:

‘Nuff said. Bring it, motherfuckers. Just you try.

Great Recession redux

Arthur Sido says it ain’t gonna reset itself, y’know.

Something I return to again and again is that most of our fellow Americans, Democrats and Republicans alike, view politics in a deeply skewed manner. Most garden variety liberals think that Big Business is bad and we need more government to restrain it. Most NormieCons think Big Government is bad and we need more free markets to prosper. What neither side gets is that Big Business and Big Government are the same damn thing. Big Government loves Big Business because Big Business enriches politicians. Big Business loves Big Government because the dot gov types help Big Business to be more profitable. The last thing Big Business wants are free markets. They want state controlled markets that give them advantages in return for political donations. At Executive Board meetings for the National Housing Conference, non-profit types and corporate shills sit side by side and figure out ways to loot the American tax payer.

We are told that initiatives like using Freddie and Fannie to “help” low income Americans is a matter of “justice” and “equity”. The article twice mentions the “the racial wealth gap” as if giving blacks mortgages they can’t or won’t repay will make them wealthier. How exactly does it increase wealth to have blacks and mestizos getting mortgages that they end up defaulting on, thus making their poor credit even worse? Encouraging them to be responsible with credit? That would help. This won’t do anything to help them and in most respects will make things worse.

What it will do is vastly improve the profit of the major banks and mortgage lenders who will make shitty loans and then dump them onto Freddie and Fannie, and ultimately the American tax payer. In return, these banks and businesses will shower contributions on the politicians who made this windfall possible. As I pointed out before in Everyone Else Should Pay For My Poor Decision Making!, the top leaders in both parties tend to have a lot of campaign cash coming from the financial services sector. If you think that banks and investment firms are giving Chuck Schumer and Mitch McConnell alike millions in campaign contributions without a firm understanding that no matter which party is in power, the banks are protected, then you are kidding yourself.

You can see the end result of this from where we stand today. It doesn’t take a crystal ball, just a modicum of awareness. Lots and lots of crappy mortgages being issued to people who can’t handle them. Many or most of those will go into default and the tax-payers will be on the hook, which will be wrapped up into more make-believe money. Of course since “low-income” is often code for “not White”, there will be Congressional hearings and legislation to bail out these good folk who got in over their heads through no fault of their own. More money will flow to help keep them in their homes, magical bullshit money printed up out of thin air.

With a finite supply of homes and skyrocketing lumber prices making new home construction very expensive, we will have a bunch of new buyers in the marketplace looking to purchase homes. This increases demand and that will in turn cause prices to rise even faster. Next will come pressure to intervene in the home construction business to encourage faster construction. We already saw that in the quote from the article: “…expanding investment that supports the construction of multifamily rental properties”. “Investment” in this case is a fancy way of saying “tax breaks and government subsidies to build apartments and housing”. Groups like the National Association Of Home Builders will certainly support making “investments” as well as making it easier for people to get mortgages. That is where the real power moves are happening. Biden eating ice cream or empty blustering from politicians on C-SPAN? That is meaningless. Where things are really getting done are behind the scenes with regulators, congressional committee staff and lobbyists jockeying for position at the Fed Gov trough, all trying to stick their snouts in the sweet, sweet magical money flow.

Getting screwed in the deal? Us. Housing prices skyrocketing, inflation spiking. Housing is a huge part of the economy. Not everyone has an iPhone but just about everyone has to have a place to live.

This is all part of the plan. To enact the Great Reset, things have to be a widespread dumpster fire. People living in a decent society aren’t going to live in the pod. What better way to throw a society into chaos than to mess with the housing market that impacts everyone? Not to mention inflation being another tool for the Powers That Be to accelerate the Great Reset, there will be more on that later.

While sane people look at this move, which not only seeks to replicate the disaster of the Great Recession but to double down, and wonder what the hell they are thinking, it is critical to understand that torpedoing the economy is not an unforeseen effect, it is the whole point.

Annnnd bingo. In fact, that’s true of so many things happening to and around us these days it’s hard to keep track of them all. But if you still think these nefarious shitweasels aren’t working a Plan here, you need to think again.

If you are in fact a legit hooman bean desirous of registering yourself a CF user name so as to be able to comment only to find yourself caught up as collateral damage in one of my irregularly (un)scheduled sweeps for hinky registration attempts, please shoot me a kite at the email addy over in the right sidebar and let me know so’s I can get ya fixed up manually.

ALSO NOTE: You MUST use a valid, legit email address in order to successfully register, the new anti-spam software I installed last night requires it. My thanks to Barry for all his help sorting this mess out last night.

Comments appear entirely at the whim of the guy who pays the bills for this site and may be deleted, ridiculed, maliciously edited for purposes of mockery, or otherwise pissed over as he in his capricious fancy sees fit. The CF comments section is pretty free-form and rough and tumble; tolerance level for rowdiness and misbehavior is fairly high here, but is NOT without limit.

Management is under no obligation whatever to allow the comments section to be taken over and ruined by trolls, Leftists, and/or other oxygen thieves, and will take any measures deemed necessary to prevent such. Conduct yourself with the merest modicum of decorum, courtesy, and respect and you'll be fine. Pick pointless squabbles with other commenters, fling provocative personal insults, issue threats, or annoy the host (me) and...you won't.

Should you find yourself sanctioned after running afoul of the CF comments policy as stated and feel you have been wronged, please download and complete the Butthurt Report form below in quadruplicate; retain one copy for your personal records and send the others to the email address posted in the right sidebar.

Please refrain from whining, sniveling, and/or bursting into tears and waving your chubby fists around in frustrated rage, lest you suffer an aneurysm or stroke unnecessarily. Your completed form will be reviewed and your complaint addressed whenever management feels like getting around to it. Thank you.
