The whole megilla

Dude hits the nail on the head. I mean, HARD.

Good as that is, it gets even better from there.

Being the lazy sod I am, I’ll make it easy on myself and just do a screencap of the rest.

As CF Lifers will know, I’ve posited the Leftard/perpetual adolescents connection countless times over the years here, but Gobry’s “leftism=narcissism” formulation never occurred to me. Although it must also be said that seeing it spelled out so directly and concisely makes it seem blindingly obvious now—as if the world’s biggest lightbulb had suddenly switched on in my head. Excellent work, Mr Gobry, sir. Found this thread via Ed Driscoll at Insty; not having known about this guy before, you bet your sweet bippy I hit the “Follow” button with a quickness.

Truly, truly pathetic

I downloaded a vid intending to upload it to my WP Media Library, then embed it here, but no dice; the Media Library file size limit is a paltry 2 megs, but the video in question clocks in at 4.1, thereby breaking the bank, so to speak. In any event, you very much need to head on over to Phil’s place and watch it, it’s mind-blowing. To quote my own comment over at Bustednuckles:

Whiny little baglapper. The problem with sniveling douchetools like this is that their cities have never been bombed, they have never been seriously hungry, cold, or afraid, and they were never spanked as children.

It’s that last item that’s most pertinent of all, IMHO. I also enjoyed Phil’s recommendations:

I would Rattle Can my old truck Green, Rattle Can the Sprite British Racing Green, (even though I hate that fucking color) paint the fucking sidewalk green and find a used John Deere riding lawn mower again just to fuck with this pretentious asshole.

I’m betting a guy could find some green Mylar window covers if he looked hard enough too.

This fucker would melt down in the middle of the street before he even got close to my front door before I was done.

A fuggin’ MEN, Phil. Alternatively, you could always just punch the whinging dorksnort right in the fucking mouth. Once he’s on the ground, kick his ribs and upper torso area until he’s helpless to do anything other than lie there and quack like a duck. Lather, rinse, repeat, each and every time he so much as looked like he was about to set foot in your yard or driveway.

Call to violence

I can only repeat what I said not long ago: For the Left, the step from calls for violence to acts of violence is never a big one, nor have they ever shown themselves to be at all reluctant to take it.

Political Violence Against Musk: The Left’s Playbook of Intimidation
The attacks on Elon Musk and Tesla are no accident. They are the logical, almost inevitable, consequence of the incitement coming from the highest levels of the Democratic Party, left-wing media outlets such as MSNBC and The New York Times, and billionaire activists like Alex Soros and Reid Hoffman, who fear that Musk is dismantling what they’ve spend years building. These attacks are not isolated. They are coordinated. They are deliberate. And they are meant to send a message—not just to Musk, but to anyone else who dares challenge the progressive orthodoxy.

The recent wave of violence against Tesla facilities, dealerships, and charging stations is staggering in its scope. In New York City, over 350 protesters stormed a Tesla showroom, smashing windows, attacking customers, and even assaulting police officers. In Colorado, an activist-turned-arsonist lobbed Molotov cocktails at Tesla vehicles, spray-painting “Nazi cars” on the walls. In Oregon, a self-described “transgender terrorist” opened fire on a Tesla showroom, shattering windows and riddling vehicles with bullets. And the vandalism isn’t limited to the United States—graffiti in Tasmania denounces Tesla owners as driving “swasticars.”

What fuels this madness? The answer lies in the rhetoric of those in power. Prominent Democrats have relentlessly demonized Musk, not merely as a political opponent, but as a threat to democracy itself. Representative Robert Garcia, in a heated CNN interview, declared that the fight against Musk requires “real weapons,” a statement that he later claimed was metaphorical but was nonetheless embraced by activists as a call to action. Reid Hoffman, billionaire donor and longtime Democratic operative, ominously mused that “actions have consequences” when discussing the attacks on Tesla—an implicit endorsement of political violence. Others, including Representatives Al Green, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley, have accused Musk of fascism, of being the next Hitler, of plotting to round up Democrats into concentration camps. This is not political discourse; this is incitement.

Lots more to this one yet at the link, of which you definitely want to read the all. I can’t refrain from including this bit from the closing sum-up:

This is not about Tesla. This is about the future of political discourse in America. If we allow these tactics to succeed, if we permit violence and intimidation to dictate who may speak and who must be silent, then we will have ceded our democracy to the mob.

Which, of course, is precisely why the Founders, to a man, warned their posterity so strenuously and continually against democracy—after all, at the end of the day “mob rule” is what democracy actually is.

Peach state goin’ down

We hardly knew ye, Jawja.

A Biological Male for ‘Miss Georgia’?
It’s bad enough that biological men want to compete in women’s sports, but now it looks like they’re aiming for women’s pageants, too. In 2023, men from Portugal and the Netherlands were contestants in the Miss Universe pageant, and in June of last year, a biological male became Miss Maryland and later competed in the Miss USA pageant. And now, it’s happening in my home state of Georgia.

Bella Bautista from Cartersville, Ga., is a biological man who is now, apparently, “Miss Buckhead” (Buckhead is a popular residential and commercial district in Atlanta) and plans to compete in the Miss Georgia pageant. When I saw this headline, my obvious issue was, of course, that here we go again with men attempting to take something away from women.

But then I visited Bautista’s Instagram page and noted that this person has a big agenda. The bio reads, “Civil Rights Activist. Collegiate Athlete. Econ. Major Using Archives To Restore Trans History.” Dig a little deeper, and you’ll find that this person’s life is largely dedicated to disrupting the lives of others in favor of “trans rights.”

Gee, how very unusual of him/her/it, wouldn’t have expected it.

A bit of backstory: when I lived in ATL, Buckhead was universally known as “Fuckhead” amongst us lesser beings—a snooty rich-people nabe you could barely even drive through without getting jeered at and heckled by the locals as you passed. After dark, fuhgeddaboudit: the streets and sidewalks were asshole to elbow with inebriated, besuited yuppie-puppies staggering about, twelve-dollar beers in hand, making the nightly pub-crawl through the many exorbitantly priced watering holes dotting the area.

The one and only reason I know even that much about the place is that the photography school/college/whatevs my then-gf Kat attended was on Peachtree just beyond Fuckhead, so we had to run the gauntlet through the miserable dump twice daily on the way to school and back. At that time, we only had the one car between us: Kat’s beat-up but nonetheless valiant old Ford Fiesta, a less than ideal situation which persisted until I arranged to buy my uncle Larry’s battered old Burick for a piffling sum.

Recruiting? Perish the thought

If, as they shrilly insist, they’re NOT all about the grooming of little kids, then why do they always get so damned angry when anyone tries to call them on it?

WATCH: Drag Show at Dallas ‘Church’ Featured Drag ‘Pastor’ Encouraging Violence Against Trump Voters
In Dallas, Texas, a “church” that often pushes an LGBT agenda hosted a drag show where one of the performers repeatedly made “jokes” about fighting Republicans and killing a Trump supporter.

The “Cathedral of Hope” in Dallas put on a performance on Sunday called “Celebrating the Art of Drag.” On the website, it was described being a worship service that “will bless and affirm those who use drag as an art form and affirm their transgender siblings made in the image of God.” It seems that attracting the youth to the church was one of the goals as those putting it on were involved in youth programs:

Our guest preacher will be the Rev. Brooke Dooley, associate pastor for youth and young adults at Friends Congregational Church in College Station and youth director for the South Central Conference of the United Church of Christ. Dooley is also well-known as “Drag King” Brock Bottom.

In homosexual culture, the “bottom” is often a reference to the partner in the relationship that relinquishes control during sexual intercourse, which I can safely assume is what the stage name is in reference to.

It was during this performance that the Texas Family Project captured a moment where Dooley, on stage as “Brock Bottom,” began advocating for violence against Republicans and Trump supporters.

“If any of y’all voted for Trump, please don’t tell us,” said Dooley to a smattering of applause. “Or do and… do y’all sacrifice? Could we start?”

At some point, someone in the crowd indicated something, causing Dooley to ask if “he voted for Trump.” The person in the crowd said something inaudible to which Dooley responded “Okay, cuz I will kill him.”

This was actually received with laughter and applause by the audience.

Because of COURSE it was. All this, mind, in Texas(!!!), of all places, which seems to be going from ruby-red to purple WAY too quickly to suit me. Morse includes a telling Tweet.

Just sick, that’s what. I ask again: Where, O Lord, are the floods, anyhow? The lightning bolts, the plagues of frogs and locusts, the blood rain, all that?

SICK!!!

No, these lunatics are most certainly NOT okay.

Your obligatory “Show more…” end-run.

At a protest against Trump’s executive orders targeting child mutilation procedures on minors, Actress Cynthia Nixon reveals that:

-Her daughter is transgender

-Her niece is transgender

-Her best friend’s child is transgender

-Her daughter’s best friend is transgender

-Her life is filled with transgender people, “young and old, but especially young.”

President Trump is saving American children from one of the most destructive social contagions in human history.

That’s about the size of it, yeah. Back into the closet with you, you depraved freaks. There’s something very, very wrong with people like Nixon, and I’m at a loss as to whether they can ever be fixed and made whole again. Not that they’d ever allow any such attempt to be made, of course.

Dems double down on depravity

“Standing up for the rights of families,” for the first time in recorded history.

MSNBC’s Chris Hayes took his book tour to HBO and Friday’s episode of Real Time with Bill Maher, where he urged Democrats to double down on telling Republicans to “just stay the fuck out of their business” when it comes to parents wanting to give their children gender-altering “health care.”

Maher had just finished lamenting that the recent forum for the DNC chair election, complete with a land acknowledgment and other progressive cringe-inducing antics, showed the party hasn’t learned anything when Hayes replied, “I think that, I don’t think there’s anyone who hasn’t had a moment across the political spectrum of some form of progressive communication that’s either left them bewildered or a little like ‘Eh, I don’t know about that,’ but at the same time, there is a message of what I would call common sense patriotic pluralism. That is a majority message.”

No, what you ACTUALLY have there, Chris, is an incomprehensible word salad, exactly the sort of bafflegab you dirty swine throw in Normal faces when you don’t want them to catch on to what you really mean underneath the gobbledegook.

The first example he reached for was, “If some father and mother have health care for their kid lined up, who is trans, just stay the fuck out of their business. Like, and let them make that decision. That’s their decision to make. You don’t have to make that for your family. I’m not going to tell you what to do with your family.”

Maher pushed back, “I mean, but the argument is whether the child should make the decision.”

Hayes strained credibility to add, “But the child is never making the decision. The parents are always making the decision. Parents consent to medical care.”

Eventually, Maher would add, “They would say it’s disfiguring a child.”

Hayes was unmoved, “I think they should mind their business; I really do. I think they should mind their business, and I think that’s true about a lot of things.”

Ironically enough, that’s precisely what the rest of us have been trying to tell your criminal organization masquerading as a political party for decades now, only to have you ignore us and go right on as before. As Ed helpfully points out, this would seem to be a policy volte face for PMSDNC, although I do NOT recommend anybody rush out to bet money on it.

In 2013 the network ran ads that their parent company Comcast-signed off in which the message was explicitly stated that “your kids are not your own.” Last year, Kamala chose a veep, who, as the Daily Caller noted, “Greenlit Law Allowing State To Take Child Custody From Parents Who Oppose Sex-Change Surgeries.” Now that there’s a Republican in the White House who doesn’t want to see them mutilated before they can consent as an adult to procedures that could permanently alter them, Hayes responds, “just stay the f**k out of [the parents’] business!” Past performance, etc.

Why, one might almost think that the shitlib stance on the rights of families, if any, hinges on whether or not the “transgender” religion is involved.

Stupid Bowl angst

Wait, that’s this week? I neither knew, nor gave a sugar-frosted damn.

Donald Trump is going to the Super Bowl – and ruining one of America’s best days | Opinion
Ahhh, the Super Bowl. Where families gather to watch the big game. Eat lots of food. Drink some. Party a little. Get together with friends to laugh, chill, hang out. It’s one of the few moments, the extremely few, few moments, where Americans genuinely come together.

We put aside politics.

Well, some do, I suppose. Not you though, apparently.

We put aside our differences. We take part in a great American tradition. It’s actually pretty cool. Well, it was. Because now President Donald Trump is attending the game.

In my considered opinion, you’re not whining nearly enough, little beeyotch. Please, I beg of you, do whine more. Put a little ooomph in it this time, if you don’t mind.

Trump is believed to be the first sitting president to possibly attend the Super Bowl. There’s a reason sitting presidents don’t normally go. It’s potentially a security nightmare. But also, to me, they want the game to be the center of attention, not them.

Trump wants to go to get attention but also to show dominance over a league that once rejected him. He holds grudges the way Tom Brady holds Super Bowl records.

It doesn’t matter that Trump is a huge sports fan or has attended Super Bowls before. Who cares. What matters is now. Now, Trump stands for the opposite of everything we love about the Super Bowl. Yes, the game has become corporate, but it’s retained a level of coolness in a way the league itself hasn’t.

Yeh, yeh, whatevs. If you say so, whiny bitch.

I’m someone that’s become slightly cynical about the NFL. It’s grown into a league concerned solely with making cash. And yes, the Super Bowl isn’t totally exempt from this. Of course.

Just now realizing this, are ya? You fucking idiot.

But having covered so many Super Bowls, and watched so many others from home or a party or two (or five), it seriously is one of the last remaining American moments of unity. Not perfect. Not totally. But pretty good. Even people who don’t watch football or even like it, watch some element of it.

Wanna bet, moron? A devout fan of Tom Landry’s Dallas Cowboys in the days of my misspent youth who would sooner gargle semen than miss a Cowboys game on the Teewee, I haven’t squandered a single minute of my time watching ANY National Felons’ League games since…what, the 1980’s, I guess? Much less the hyped-to-death Stupid Bowl extravaganza and the interminable months of playoff games leading up to it. Haven’t missed it, either. I have no plans to make this year a departure from that happy norm. And that, friend, is my promise to you.

In all seriousness and sincerity, I do fervently hope that the incessant TV camera zoom-ins on Trump and his entourage as they disport themselves in whatever posh, ultra-luxurious skybox they’ll be occupying absolutely ruins the whole experience for your whiny ass. Hell, if one of the networks set up a remote camera in your living room so as to broadcast your anguished reactions to your Super Sunday ordeal it might constitute sufficient justification for me to tune in my own self, against all odds and established precedent.

Every picture video tells a story

OHHH yeah, these primordial savages are every bit as normal as you or me. After all, we’re all human beings and so want pretty much the same things in life whatever our religious beliefs might happen to be, right? Right? RIIIIIGHT?!?

WRONG, boyo.

The existential error made by Not-Great Britainistan via importing hordes of these 11th Century throwbacks against the clearly-expressed will of subjects of the Crown couldn’t be more obvious.

On reality

And, y’know, NOT.

No, you aren’t
So I saw a dude (and yes, it had the adam’s apple, so a dude) wearing a skirt with leggings (and really nice heels) and a shirt that said “Everyone is entitled to their own view of reality” I couldn’t help but tell him: “No, reality is what it is, denying it makes you a fool and an idiot.” He got mad and pouted. No matter, he’s still a man, in a skirt. Not a chick. “Don’t call me Stupid!” say he. “Then don’t act stupid or say stupid shit, says I”…He flounced off in a huff. I laughed out loud at his back.

Just because a woman wants to think “Big is Beautiful” doesn’t mean that fat girls are as pretty or attractive as women who take care of themselves. Shy’s lying to herself or to her fat friend. Trans people (I.E. Men that pretend to be women or women who pretend to be men) are not the opposite sex just because they put on a skirt or pants. To believe otherwise is stupid. Trans men can’t have babies or nurse, and trans women are not strong men, even with supplements of Testosterone. Saying otherwise is stupid.

I can believe I can fly all I want, right up ’til I step off that cliff. Being upset when reality (and the ground) smacks me in the face is stupid….Stepping off the cliff is stupid. Don’t like the truth? Reality and the world just don’t care. Being upset that you can’t fly is also stupid.

Man or woman (and those are the only choices), to deny reality is stupid and it really is stupid to think otherwise. Reality is what it is. Deal with it. Stop being foolish.

We, as a society, need to stop pandering to people, be they straight or trans or gay, men or women, old or young, that feel that their alternate view of reality is just as valid.

Seems simple enough, no? Obvious; beyond argument; plain for all with eyes to see; as fair as fair ever gets in this life—none but a fool, a madman, or a stubborn, spoiled child would think to object. So readily apparent is it, in fact, that it shouldn’t have to be said at all; even the most rudimentary powers of observation will confirm that to contend otherwise is a pointless waste of time and/or energy.

And yet, somehow…well, here we all are nonetheless.

Via Bayou Peter, who adds:

This blatant falsehood manifests itself particularly in the “You can’t criticize me! You can’t judge me! You can’t say I’m wrong!” crowd. Look, if what you’re believing, or preaching, or doing, flies in the face of objective fact and natural reality, I can judge you (your actions, at any rate – not your soul, that’s God’s business) and I can say you’re wrong. I will. Loudly and frequently. To indulge your false fantasy would make me as guilty of ignoring reality as you are!

I saw this particularly as a prison chaplain. We had psychologists on staff whose job was to help inmates figure out where they’d gone wrong, and help them to change. The problem is that far too many of those psychologists tried to lead the inmate to come to the right conclusions on his or her own, without actually telling them they were wrong. In many cases, those inmates had never been taught how to think, and had none of the normal frame of reference (morality, civics, etc.) used in our society. To expect them to come to the “right” conclusions when they were filled with the “wrong” personal history, information (or the lack thereof), relationships, etc. was nonsensical – yet those psychologists persisted in that approach. They had to. That’s what the “system” demanded – and that’s why we have a 70%+ recidivism rate among US prison inmates over the first five years after they’re released.

Plenty more at both links, all of it well worth reading.

My one and probably only post on the Cali wildfires

I’m with John Ringo.

Eat of it indeed. Via Ragin’ Dave, who adds:

Just for the record, I agree with this 100%. I do not care how many people lose homes in Los Angeles. Especially in Pacific Palisades, or Malibu, or Santa Monica. Because I’ve lived in LA, I’ve been to those areas, and I know without a single doubt that damn near every single person living there, with a few exceptions here and there, voted for Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass. They voted for the people who defunded the fire department. They voted for the people who fired the firefighters who refused to get the jab. They voted for the governor and his cronies who refused to fill the reservoirs. They voted for DEI instead of competence, they voted for Marxism instead of something that actually works, they voted for all of this. They voted for the regulations that prevented the fire base from being cut back. They voted for the empty fire hydrants.

They voted for everything that is now afflicting them.

Yep, that’s about the size of it. Read the rest. I say again: some of us live and learn. Others just live, and never learn.

There’ll always be an England Part the Second

In light of this revoltin’ development, the real question is: SHOULD there be?

The Biggest Peacetime Crime—and Cover-up—in British History

“Peacetime,” he says. Dumb fuck doesn’t realize he’s in a war that began a long, long time ago.

LONDON — The grooming and serial rape of thousands of English girls by men of mostly Pakistani Muslim background over several decades is the biggest peacetime crime in the history of modern Europe. It went on for many years. It is still going on. And there has been no justice for the vast majority of the victims.

British governments, both Conservative and Labour, hoped that they had buried the story after a few symbolic prosecutions in the 2010s. And it looked like they had succeeded—until Elon Musk read some of the court papers and tweeted his disgust and bafflement on X over the new year.

Britain now stands shamed before the world. The public’s suppressed wrath is bubbling to the surface in petitions, calls for a public inquiry, and demands for accountability.

The scandal is already reshaping British politics. It’s not just about the heinous nature of the crimes. It’s that every level of the British system is implicated in the cover-up.

Social workers were intimidated into silence. Local police ignored, excused, and even abetted pedophile rapists across dozens of cities. Senior police and Home Office officials deliberately avoided action in the name of maintaining what they called “community relations.” Local councilors and Members of Parliament rejected pleas for help from the parents of raped children. Charities, NGOs, and Labour MPs accused those who discussed the scandal of racism and Islamophobia. The media mostly ignored or downplayed the biggest story of their lifetimes. Zealous in their incuriosity, much of Britain’s media elite remained barnacled to the bubble of Westminster politics and its self-serving priorities.

They did this to defend a failed model of multiculturalism, and to avoid asking hard questions about failures of immigration policy and assimilation. They did this because they were afraid of being called racist or Islamophobic. They did this because Britain’s traditional class snobbery had fused with the new snobbery of political correctness.

All of which is why no one knows precisely how many thousands of young girls were raped in how many towns across Britain since the 1970s.

One of the most disgusting, vomit-inducing articles you’ll ever read, this one is. Gotta repeat this bit, because reasons.

Britain now stands shamed before the world.

Does it, though? Because I can’t honestly say I’m seeing a whole lot of shame, much as I wish it weren’t so. Plenty of ass-covering, excuse-making, and “but…but…but…” sack-scratching going around still, which to my way of thinking indicates not shame, but shamelessness.

The public’s suppressed wrath is bubbling to the surface in petitions, calls for a public inquiry, and demands for accountability.

Uh huh. Because petitions, inquiries, and toothless “demands” have always been effective before. Perhaps Englishters need to lay off suppressing their wholly-justified wrath and try expressing it for a change—explicitly, pointedly, and energetically, in the places where it can do the most good.

As has been true of politicians everywhere and everywhen, absent cash bribes they respond mainly to pressure, and, should that fail to move them in the desired direction, pain. High time they experienced some, then. The mistake people must never, ever make (but usually do) is to imagine that a single, brief application of pressure will suffice to do the trick, and that having done so it’s now safe to just walk away assuming the battle has been won and all is well again.

No, the thing to do is maintain continuous pressure until it causes them pain, never letting up until they’ve agreed to your terms and sworn to abide by them. Should the politicians renege on the deal, lather, rinse, repeat as needed. Sooner or later torches, pitchforks, white-hot branding irons, and nooses are likely to put in an appearance. If the scoundrels make hanging a few of them necessary until the rest come around, so be it. After all, they’d certainly do the same to you. Have done, in fact, and not back in long-forgotten antiquity either, but quite recently. It’s how you wound up in this awful fix in the first place.

PRO TIP FOR BRITISH SUBJECTS: Your government doesn’t give three whoops in Hell for what you like, don’t like, want, don’t want, or expect. It’s abundantly clear that the police, elected “representatives” at every level, the press, and various other institutions both public and private care far more about the welfare of the unassimilable Moslem hordes your authorities intentionally, wittingly inflicted on you (for whom “rape, pillage, burn” isn’t a pre-Medieval abstraction but an avocation) than they ever will about your wives, mothers, sisters, and/or daughters of whatever age being beaten, gang-raped, and/or murdered in broad daylight, without fear on the part of the lawless, slavering animals responsible for said serial brutality of official sanction, reprimand, or so much as a light slap on the wrist in punishment.

As Tommy Robinson could tell his fellow Britons, there’s no help coming; you are entirely on your own, like it or not. In Not-So-Great Britain sorely-beset Normals have no advocates, no right to defend themselves, and no legal recourse. There is no knight in shining armor on a big white charger galloping to the rescue in the very nick of time. Brave Sir Launcelot perished long ago, leaving no uncut but valiant young Percival as his successor-designate to carry on with the obligatory dragon-slaying, succouring of damsels in distress, Grail-seeking, Round Table mead-swilling, and miscellaneous errantry.

If it’s the squeaky wheel that gets the grease, as the old saw has it, then I reckon it’s time and well past time Brits did some serious squeaking. In stupidly allowing their tyrannical government to disarm them without dissent or demur, His Majesty’s subjects made a bed for themselves in which no decent, self-respecting person should complacently lie. The central issue confronting the West entire is no great secret; we all know what it is, what it portends for us. All self-deception, all equivocation, all pussyfooting around must cease posthaste. Assuming it’s not already too late, that is.

It’s misery, all the way down

Our pal Diogenes Sarcastica sums it up better than I’ve ever seen it done yet.

Being Woke is like watching Schindler’s List, Sophie’s Choice and the ending to Old Yeller twice a week and listening to the song Strange Fruit and a mix of Robert Johnson in your car everyday. No one can function with that kind of concentrated depression floating around in their head.

Suffering is an inevitable part of life. Maybe a necessary part. Suffering inspires artists, and it makes philosophers strive for Truth. But Wokeism is a kind of self-destructive despair. There’s no wholesome hug at the end of that pride rainbow. Wokeism is an empty despair that can’t build anything.

By George, I think she’s got it.

"I predict that the Bush administration will be seen by freedom-wishing Americans a generation or two hence as the hinge on the cell door locking up our freedom. When my children are my age, they will not be free in any recognizably traditional American meaning of the word. I’d tell them to emigrate, but there’s nowhere left to go. I am left with nauseating near-conviction that I am a member of the last generation in the history of the world that is minimally truly free."
Donald Sensing

Etienne de la Boiete

"History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid."
Dwight D. Eisenhower

Skeptic

David Black, from Turn Left For Gibraltar

"If the laws of God and men, are therefore of no effect, when the magistracy is left at liberty to break them; and if the lusts of those who are too strong for the tribunals of justice, cannot be otherwise restrained than by sedition, tumults and war, those seditions, tumults and wars, are justified by the laws of God and man."
John Adams

"The limits of tyranny are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress."
Frederick Douglass

"Give me the media and I will make of any nation a herd of swine."
Joseph Goebbels

“I hope we once again have reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: As government expands, liberty contracts.”
Ronald Reagan

"Ain't no misunderstanding this war. They want to rule us and aim to do it. We aim not to allow it. All there is to it."
NC Reed, from Parno's Peril
