We didn’t so much finally find a hill to die on as that it punched us right in the face.

Let’s look at the scenarios the Washington Post article presented to understand that theirs was not so much a theoretical exercise as it was a roadmap for insurrection, a rally cry to the leftists burning down Seattle, Portland, Kenosha and any other city they can target before the election. First they gave us four possible scenarios A Biden Landslide, A narrow Biden win, but with electoral and popular vote victories, a narrow Trump win, but with a large popular vote loss and a period of uncertainty after the election.

Not once did they even play out the possibility of a Trump landslide, because then they would have to admit that riots in the street would also take place given that eventuality. It is more what they don’t say than what they do, that matters. 

The crisis they see coming is the use of the Insurrection Act by Trump to “teach these anti-American terrorists a lesson.” Not to quell violent unrest by Biden voters that will not accept the outcome of the election, as played out when Hillary lost and continues to this day, but some invention of Donald Trump’s imagination, fear and hatred. (Notice that all of those playing out the Trump side were hostile anti-Trumpers.) The Washington Post is building into the narrative the purpose and excuse for their insurrection, nothing less. After the Donald Trump landslide and if it is not it will be a result of cheating and intimidation by Biden voters, they plan to take the streets, perhaps even drag Trump out of the White House, perhaps with Deep State cover from the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Every indication I’m seeing for a Trump victory is much greater than it was in 2016. The polls, even heavily weighted to the Democrats, are showing Trump much closer to Biden than he was to Hillary. He will probably still win, but not by the amount he would in a stand up election. The riots have influenced a lot of people who won’t claim support for Trump, but will nonetheless vote for him on election day.

The riots after election day, with cover from the media, will lead to insurrection and all of us will be on the front line in one way or another. You have trained, stock-piled and while it was hard to tell what for a lot of the time, this is what for. This is the hill to die on, not because of Trump himself, but because the communists want it bad enough to kill you in broad daylight for it. They will kill your whole family if they can, before they take power or after. It is only the preparedness and coolness of head that Kyle Rittenhouse showed that will bring us through it. Some of us won’t make it. But, what better reason to die than defending your families and your freedom? I can think of none.

All of them, from the rioters and looters to the MFM to the Democrat-Socialist-Riot Party itself, is telling us openly and in plain language what they intend to do. It’s time we started taking them at their word, and taking their words seriously. As for the WaPo “war game” article mentioned by TL, David Harsanyi examines it more closely.

In their “war game” scenarios, however, it’s the Democrats who refuse to accept the will of courts to adhere to the constitutionally prescribed system rather than hysteria, and it’s the Democrats who wishcast the wholly imaginary “popular vote” into existence.

One of the scenarios, we learn, “doesn’t look that different from 2016” — a contest in which, it must be pointed out, not one vote has been proven to be uncounted or altered. In that outcome, America is confronted with “a big popular win for Mr. Biden, and a narrow electoral defeat.” In the real world, incidentally, that scenario is called a “Trump victory.”

In the fictional war game, however, John Podesta, playing the role of Biden, contends that his party won’t let him concede the race and instead alleges “voter suppression” — the catchall go-to every time a Democrat loses — and persuades the Democratic governors of Trump-won states such as Wisconsin and Michigan to send pro-Biden electors to the Electoral College.

In the meantime, California, Oregon and Washington threaten to secede from the union if Trump takes office. The Democratic House unilaterally names Biden president. “At that point in the scenario,” the New York Times’ Ben Smith explains, “the nation stopped looking to the media for cues, and waited to see what the military would do.”

This scenario is what a real-life “coup” might resemble. It is, needless to say, utterly insane that Democrats would destroy the nation’s longstanding and peaceful transition because they refuse to accept the mandated process of electing the president. All of which is to say the proactive — and retroactive — delegitimization of the Trump presidency has been a successful four-year project.

Well, for them it has, I suppose. But for sensible, sane people, all they’ve really done is destroy their own credibility and harden his supporters’ hearts against them. It seems a Pyrrhic victory at best, one that might just turn around and bite them on the ass before long.

NEVER underestimate the enemy

It’s always and forever a mistake. If you don’t believe that, ask the Left; they’ve been doing it with Trump from the very beginning, to their eternal frustration and great cost.

Antifa tactical units are organized into standard ‘company structure’ of up to 20 individual soldiers under the immediate control of a comany commander. While there are ‘special units’, most notable the ‘reconnaissance & coordination’ teams of bicyclists, the base of the C&C structure for Antifa is the company.

Company commanders are ‘first lieutenants’ and may be idenfied in the field by their actions within the group, and frequently by possession of DX SDR units of some form. These ‘duplex (send/receive) software defined radio’ units will be small, and most probably attached to a smart phone. It is through the SDR’s that the encrypted commands are passed to operational units. On arrest, 1st Lieutenants have been observed disarding their identifying equipment as well as destroying their phones.First Lieutenants can also be identified as being the local hub for bicycle traffic. In observations of rioting/looting activity, particularly with long distance videos of qualtity, bicyclists can cleary be seen reporting to 1st Lieutenants & even seeking them out in the mob. For this activity, bicyclists have been noted to employ ‘proximate apps’ to locate their units & commanders.

The Anitfa field orgnaization has up to 4 companies reporting to a ‘captain (coordinator)’. Antifa Captians may be identified by common actions & equipment. Captains are ‘free floating’ within the mob movement, but will always be associated with increased bicycle traffic as well as ’emblems’ of authority/command. These emblems include sepcific types & shapes of video camera gear. Antifa soldiers are trained to center on the emblems of both 1st Lieutentant as well as Captains. Some of the Captains have been observed pulling their command together by holding up the long lens video camera overhead while running a pattern of flashes from the light bars. These are swept around the mob & new organization results.

Most of them may be doot-brained pussies just out LARPing as soldiers—disorganized, cowardly, and easily scattered at the slightest sign of opposition. But many of them are not, not at all. More of this truly must-read S2 material at the link, all of it interesting, indeed essential stuff. But the most fascinating part of all, for me at least, comes in at the end:

The structure of Antifa in the field most closely resembles the ‘color’ revolutions created by the CIA. The tactics employed so far in these Antifa field actions have very simiular targets & tactics as was observed as far back in time as the Viet Nam conflict, and in other arenas in which the CIA created wars and destabilized regimes.

While this is the end of this report on the Antifa C&C structure, it is worth noting that, in the observations taken from video footage, there is a suggestion of an ‘Unknown Actor’ (UA) within the activites involved in the looting. This UA is, like Antifa, organized, and can have many operatives within the mob at any given point. This UA does not appear to be engaging in escalation, rather appears to be most focused on ‘tagging’ the Antifa, with the presumed goal of identifying active members. These ‘tagging’ incidents have been observed employing very sophisticated UV light reflective paint ‘dots’ and ‘lines’ being placed on individual Antifa by UA agents using what appears to be a ‘nylon tipped marker’. Several of these markers with no product identifying marks have been recovered in debris following looting episodes. Also in one instance, a small bag of magnetic field reflective ‘dots’ of self-adhesive vinyl was also recovered. It is assumed that UA is using these as trace & track methods for their own purposes. The UA agents are exceptionally well trained and disciplined, exhibiting awareness of video activity sufficient to allow these agents to not yet be identified.

HMMMMM. Might these “unknown actors” actually be FBI or DHS, perhaps? Or dare we hope that this is some sort of militia/Threeper countersurveillance op, providing intel on where these twerps reside, their patterns of movement, contacts, etc for use when the time is ripe for action?

Years ago I attended Cousin Regbo’s change of command ceremony at NAS Norfolk, when he took over the Navy’s venerable Rampager squadron, VFA 83. One of many things I well remember from that most memorable of nights is a conversation at the O-Club after-party where the band played, between a crusty old Marine lifer and a gawky, still-soaking-wet butterbar. The Marine, gruffly chomping out sea-stories around a fat stogie to the enraptured (and endrunkened) audience at our table, was asked by this uncut youngster just what section it was he worked for.

“Little thing called Logistics, son,” he proudly purred, the sly grin of a hungry tiger beginning to widen as he anticipated dropping the hammer on another easy meal.

The LT, who seemed to be a fighter-jock hopeful himself, was not overly impressed by this admission, not in the least. He almost seemed to think that an apology might even be called for, for the old leatherneck having had the gall to tell tales of derring-do—doubtless all heavily embellished, if not outright fabrications conjured from behind the rear-area desk he must certainly have spent his entire career cowering behind.

LT Green’s evident skepticism led the Captain, clearly expecting such callow ignorance of all military history, to lean back and wax philosophical. “Wars, all wars, are won and lost not by you handsome flyboys streaking around way up above the battlefield in them fancy aeroplanes of yours, dropping bombs on real warfighters’ heads. They’ve always and forever been won by two things and two things alone: Intel, and Logistics.”

As our current conflict intensifies and escalates, it might come in useful for everyone to keep that old jarhead’s wisdom firmly in mind. One hopes that the LT, wherever he may be now, did.

Reality check update! A former Marine confirms the lesson.

In all the training that I’ve been through (in) my life, I’ve never been in one where in the first five seconds of the scenario you’re blinded with a strobe light and sprayed with pepper spray…. That changes everything. They were throwing these rocks from 15 feet back in the crowd, you couldn’t see who the fuck through it, etc. things like that…It’s just a good talking point for guys that carry concealed, but you need to think through all these different scenarios.

It got way worse after that video ended, they chased us for 11 city blocks. They had a convoy of about 25 vehicles that cut us off at the next intersection, They had scouts on the corner with radios, they had a drone following us, they had a bull horn calling us Nazis, and the crowd was following a red strobe light that was up in the air on a stick, so they would announce Nazis and then people would follow the red strobe light, That video is just the beginning, I’ve got a fucking fractured hand from a baton, everyone of us has black and blue bruises up and down their legs and back, I had a guy spit in my face from 6 inches away, call me a pussy and a coward for not doing anything about it, and then tell me that he was going to find where I live, rape my mother, rape my children in front of me and then kill me.

I’ve never been more angry about something in my fucking life, the level of restraint that it took for us to not fight back in any capacity whether that was with a gun or fists is incredible. All of us have kids at home. The only thing going through all of our minds was we have to be able to justify deadly force if we’re going to go that route, there’s also hundreds of these people, we can’t see straight because of all the pepper spray, and it’s hard to PID exactly who is throwing these rocks and hitting us with batons, because they would hit you and fucking run and their buddy would run up and hit you. It was an incredibly stressful situation, they did a very good job tactically of taking away your situational awareness, and in my opinion complicating your legal defense when you split one of their faces open with a hollow point.

The certain fact that you WILL be arrested and prosecuted vigorously for daring to defend yourself during one of these gang attacks—while your attackers skate away scot free, to do it all again to somebody else the next night—might be the most offensive aspect of all.

But this guy’s story underscores Ol’ Remus’ oft-repeated rule: stay away from crowds. The miserable worms of PantiFa ain’t all punks and creampuffs. And even punks and creampuffs are perfectly capable of inflicting some serious damage if they can cut you out and then dogpile you. It’s awfully hard to exfil unscathed from a no-win tactical situation like that, no matter how tough or well-trained you might be.

The coup is coming here

Michael Anton is on a real tear of late.

As if 2020 were not insane enough already, we now have Democrats and their ruling class masters openly talking about staging a coup. You might have missed it, what with the riots, lockdowns and other daily mayhem we’re forced to endure in this, the most wretched year of my lifetime. But it’s happening.

He briefly outlines the treasonous, anti-American actions and statements from a pantload of treacherous Obama-appointed military nabobs, then:

All this enthused Joe Biden, who threw subtlety to the winds. The former United States Senator (for 26 years) and Vice President (for eight) has not once, not twice, but thrice confidently asserted that the military will “escort [Trump] from the White House with great dispatch” should the president refuse to leave. Another former Vice President, Al Gore, publicly agreed.

One might dismiss such comments as the ravings of a dementia patient and a has-been who never got over his own electoral loss. But before you do, consider also this. Over the summer a story was deliberately leaked to the press of a meeting at which 100 Democratic grandees, anti-Trump former Republicans, and other ruling class apparatchiks got together (on George Soros’s dime) to “game out” various outcomes of the 2020 election. One such outcome was a clear Trump win. In that eventuality, former Bill Clinton White House Chief of Staff John Podesta, playing Biden, refused to concede, pressured states that Trump won to send Democrats to the formal Electoral College vote, and trusted that the military would take care of the rest.

Gee, curious how the name Soros just keeps popping up, innit?

These items are, to repeat, merely a short but representative list of what Byron York recently labeled “coup porn.” York seems to think this is just harmless fantasizing on the part of the ruling class and its Democratic servants. For some of them, no doubt that’s true. But for all of them? I’m not so sure.

Remember that phrase from the Dem war game: “street fight.” In other words, a repeat of this summer, only much, much bigger. Crank the propaganda to ear-drum shattering decibels and fill the streets of every major city with “protesters.” Shut down the country and allow only one message to be heard: “Trump must go.”

I.e., what’s come to be known as a “color revolution,” the exact same playbook the American deep state runs in other countries whose leadership they don’t like and is currently running in Belarus. Oust a leader—even an elected one—through agitation and call it “democracy.”

The events of the last few months may be interpreted as an attempted color revolution that failed to gain enough steam, or as a trial run for the fall. Is the Trump Administration prepared?

Anton has a few suggestions to make regarding said preparation, one of which I really hadn’t much considered:

They also need to set up or shore up—now—communication channels that don’t rely on the media or Big Tech. Once the ruling class gives word that the narrative is “Trump lost,” all the president’s social media accounts will be suspended. The T.V. channels, with the likely exception of Fox News, will refuse to cover anything he says. Count on it. He’s going to need a way to talk to the American people and he has to find the means, now.

True, dat. Why Trump didn’t dump Twitter already and switch to one of the other available alternatives like Gab is a mystery to me. He has millions of Twitterati following him; my guess is that if he simply posted a final announcement there about the move and included a link to his new, more free-speech-friendly home, most if not all would immediately make the jump right along with him. That would both encourage the growth of a truly impartial and open platform, and maybe even do some real damage to the Twitter propaganda machine into the bargain.

In the end, though, all the preparation in the world will be a pointless waste of time without resolve, along with a willingness to abandon the traditional defensive crouch and take the offensive in pursuit of total victory (y’know, like Trump himself has been doing all along—AHEM). Without those things, the highly-polished and carefully tended-to Arsenal Of Freedom stays locked away in the gun safe, the cartridges remain in their box until the powder finally goes sour…and shit like this keeps right on happening:

A member of the Proud Boys is hospitalized with severe injuries from being hit by a car after attending a memorial for Aaron “Jay” Danielson, the President Donald Trump supporter who was murdered by Antifa in Portland.

Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio told The Gateway Pundit that the victim is bleeding from his brain, damaged his left temporal lobe, has a concussion and is suffering from amnesia and cannot remember the incident.

The Proud Boys are a pro-Trump male social group that frequently stands against Black Lives Matter and Antifa militants — which has made them a hated target of the left.

The Gateway Pundit has been asked to only identify the victim by his first name, Shane, at this time.

Following Danielson’s memorial in Vancouver, a group of Proud Boys went to a bar down the street, according to Tarrio. He said that a man who appeared to be a member of Antifa began taking photos and recordings of the people inside.

A man who witnessed the incident, Rex Fergus, told the Gateway Pundit that the man “started walking around the bar and recording us, putting his phone in our faces, supposedly for doxing.”

“As he was doing that, one of our guys confronted him and said ‘hey, get out of here, we don’t want you filming us. This is a private establishment and we’re not in public.’ The man continued to try to pick fights with people in the bar at the time, until security finally kicked him out of the bar,” Fergus said.

As the man was kicked out of the bar, there were several Proud Boys in the parking lot smoking cigarettes and just arriving from the memorial service. Fergus explained that the man had also become combative with them, so Shane pulled his phone out and started filming him back.

“Once the guy started his vehicle up and started to drive off, he hit Shane,” Fergus said. “Shane tried to get out of the way and the guy ran him over.”

Fergus said that Shane’s body went up on to the roof of the truck and his head hit the concrete when he fell.

“Immediately he was unconscious. After he hit him, the driver of the truck gassed it and left the parking lot, leaving Shane on the ground, bleeding out of his ears,” Fergus said.

These psychos are now just brazenly, openly hunting us down out there. Meanwhile the Demonrat coup attempt, which has continued without pause since before Trump even won election, will keep grinding on too. If the Dems and Deep Staters really are fearful of final defeat—on the ropes, at their wits’ end, and desperate, as a lot of folks confidently contend—well, I dunno, maybe they could be at that. But damned if they ain’t doing a pretty fair job right now of hiding it, seems to me.

The political problem—the Demonrats’ maneuvering, manipulation, and skullduggery, loathsome as it all is—we can probably afford to wait out for a bit longer yet. All the visible evidence strongly suggests an overwhelming Trump victory in November, maybe even lopsided enough to foreclose the attempt to hijack or nullify it. As long as even a gossamer-thin wisp of hope remains that the political and legal processes can still be made to work properly we should indeed be patient. In fact, we MUST.

However, the not-overtly non-political part of the equation—the contra-Constitutional lockdowns; the unchecked rioting and violence; the escalating depredations of out-of-control thugs and the accompanying mama’s-boy sissymaries in train with them—are all part and parcel of the Demonrat coup plot as well. And those things must be dealt with as well.

At the end of the day, though, all of that can and should be considered cogs in the same evil machine, different fronts in the larger struggle. And anyone who believes that the chaos and strife will all end after the election can anticipate an excruciatingly rude awakening.

Wander around America and talk to average Americans about the ongoing madness in the streets and you will find one commonly held assumption. Things will get worse between now and Election Day but then this will subside. “We will get back to normal.”

Wrong.

Yes, things will get worse between now and November 3rd. No, they are not likely to get better thereafter.

Despite suppression polls and the complicity of most major networks in refusing to cover Joe Biden’s obvious mental decline, the winds are shifting. Fears of COVID-19 are fading. Violence in American cities has turned off a great many Americans to the Democratic Party. Black Americans perhaps most of all are shifting to supporting Donald Trump and a law and order agenda.

But, for the people in the streets and the men and women directing them, this was never about an election.

Antifa, Black Lives Matter (BLM), and all their sister organizations are Marxist entities. As such they are built around the concept of “the struggle.” This is the process by which the existing capitalist and democratic system is destroyed and replaced by “the dictatorship of the proletariat.”

The “struggle” is an explicitly non-democratic process. The current system will not be voted out of office – it will be torn to pieces. In fact, only in this way, can true revolution be accomplished. Anything else is just tinkering around the edges.

The foundation for a rejection of the election results is already being laid.

What follows the increasingly likely Trump victory in November will not be calm.

It will not be a return to normal. The Marxist/Anarchist forces in this country, emboldened by a complicit media and supported by Democratic Party functionaries who thought they could control the mob, have grown too strong. They have been biding their time for decades – growing stronger and extending their reach. This is – they are convinced – their moment.

The terrorists and agitators will not go back to their homes, hang up their hoodies and helmets, and move on with their lives. A ‘Trump win’ will only convince them that much more that the only road to the Communist paradise they desire lies through increased violence. The tactics in use – which are already becoming more lethal – will shift from burning and vandalism to assassination and bombings.

The genie is out of the bottle.

What could have been crushed in its early stages by the determined use of law enforcement and intelligence assets and the resolve of state governors has become something much more dangerous. The republic is in peril, and it will take firm, decisive action across this nation to crush this insurrection and preserve the Union.

Nothing ends in November. This is just getting started.

I dearly wish I could come up with a halfway credible argument that Faddis is all wet on this. But I can’t come up with one…because he isn’t. Unless the monsters born of the rabid Left and sicced on America by the Demonrats are crushed, annihilated utterly, our irretrievable flat spin will not only continue but accelerate and worsen, until we auger in to a fiery crash of lawless disorder, total anarchy, and blood-soaked horror.

And then: war for real, and for keeps. Encompassing, inescapable, and unpredictable.

Sorry, but this wretched state of affairs IS our “normal” now. No matter what the result, November’s election will end nothing, will resolve nothing. It won’t even amount to a fleeting moment’s respite. Ironically enough, with somber war-warning tocsins sounding—sounded not by some comical, dismissable lunatic-fringe group but by ostensibly responsible high-level officials of one of the two national political parties, flatly declaring their intention to either fictionalize the results or just ignore them altogether and seize power regardless—the 2020 election begins to look less momentous, a matter of almost no lasting significance at all.

The Church Militant

Yeah, tell me again all about how it’s all about health, safety, and combating a profligately-overhyped virus, whydon’tcha. That one’s my favorite.

SEATTLE CLOSES PARK TO PREVENT OUTDOOR WORSHIP SERVICE: This notice sounds innocuous enough, just a legitimate public health measure. The reality is officials closed the park because it was the planned site for a worship time organized by a group of local churches, assisted by Sean Feucht. Feucht’s ministry organization has organized 19 services in 19 cities during July and August.

“This is the height of hypocrisy for the City of Seattle to turn a blind eye to riots, looting, and AntiFa, while refusing to let Christians gather in a public park to sing and worship,” Feucht said in a statement in response to the closure notice. “First the government shuts down churches. Now it’s shutting down parks to stop us from worshipping. Time to stand up church!”

If they don’t, they will soon be destroyed forever. And if they continue to submit to this naked tyranny, they will deserve to be. Michael Walsh’s sage advice from way back in 2012 is even more apt today:

In 1844, faced with a Nativist threat to burn down St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral (at Prince and Mott streets), John J. Hughes, the Irish-born bishop (and later first archbishop) of New York, gathered several thousand of his mostly Irish parishioners and deployed them around the church. Any attack on the cathedral, warned the man known as “Dagger John,” would be repulsed with force. The Nativists backed down.

During the Civil War, Hughes undertook a secret mission to Europe at the personal request of Abraham Lincoln, to rally support for the Union cause and keep Britain from entering the war on the side of the Confederacy. This he did in part by explaining the facts of the life to the English: that they’d have no luck in raising troops in restive, famine-stricken Ireland to fight against America, and a great deal of trouble if they tried.

Those were the days of the two-fisted Irish clergy, who understood their dual American roles as both the spiritual leaders of their people and — when necessary — political figures as well. But those days are long gone (Cardinal O’Connor was the last of the line).

It’s good to see the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops making noises about suing the government, but it would be even better to see Archbishop (and Cardinal-designate) Timothy Dolan get out front on this issue in a very public way. “Conscientious objectors” and “civil disobedience” were all the rage on the left during the Vietnam War and the draft,” and it’s high time we tried the same tactic on them: Catholic institutions should simply ignore the law, refuse to implement it, and refuse to pay the Obamacare fines — and dare the Left utter a peep about “higher morality.” There are 77 million Catholics in the U.S., and an awful lot of them vote.

In other words, Archbishop Dolan and his confreres ought to ask themselves, What Would Dagger John Do? No need for mobs this time, just morals. But if they’re not going to vigorously defend their own faith, in a Church Militant sort of way, who will? 

Pretty sure I linked and excerpted this column way back in the day, I believe; honestly, I’m astonished that I even remembered. But when I read about the above instance of the broader rejiggering of the COVID “crisis” into a convenient tool to be wielded against all the perennial hate-objects of Leftist despotism—an abominable tide that has inundated the nation this disastrous summer—it became readily apparent that some things never change after all. More, from Walsh’s second follow-up to that first Dagger John piece:

I’ve written about Bishop John J. Hughes, the first Archbishop of New York, here and here, advocating that both the Catholic clergy and its laymen take a page from that tough mick’s book and deal with the Obama administration’s unconstitutional attack on religious conscience and the First Amendment the way Dagger John would have: by defying it.

Civil disobedience was all the rage on the left when I was a lad during the Vietnam War era. Refuse to register for the draft; declare your conscientious objector status if called; refuse to pay that portion of your taxes that went to support the Pentagon, etc. The liberals couldn’t wrap themselves in enough moral goodness as they cursed and spat upon the returning soldiers in their customarily peaceful and tolerant fashion. 

Time to turn the tables by using their own weapons and tactics against them.

It was said of Dagger John that he was “more a Roman gladiator than a devout follower of the meek founder of Christianity.” To face the secular threat of the modern Left, we’re going to need a lot more gladiators.

It ain’t just the Christian church, both Protestant and Catholic, that needs to get its head out of the sand, shed all comforting delusions, and boldly defy our would-be masters. For all of us, it’s quickly boiling down to this simple expression: On your feet, or on your knees.

You don’t have to like it. But you DO have to recognize it.

In any war, to refuse to fight back vigorously is effectively to surrender. At such a perilous crossroads of history not only our freedom but our very future hangs precariously in the balance…waiting. A stark, binary choice must be made; there is no longer any middle ground, no third way, no half-measures. Anyone who declines to engage, in any way they can manage, in defense of what’s right, just, and true might as well just declare themselves actively in league with the enemy and be done with it.

St. John’s was designed by noted architect Benjamin Henry Latrobe to serve Episcopalians in the neighborhoods in the western end of Washington. The cornerstone of St. John’s was set on September 14, 1815.

Beginning with James Madison, until the present, every President of the United States has attended a service at St. John’s Church.

St. John’s Church leaders invited Black Lives Matter to paint race-based themes on the boarded up church this weekend.

They did not ask for Christian themes — they asked for racial themes.

Well, I mean, this IS Episcopalians we’re talking about here. But still. One can’t help but wonder what or who might be influencing these pathetic fools to prostrate themselves at the altar of cowardice and appeasement. Could it be…ohh, let me see…SATAN?!?

This has been going on for decades, of course, but its most striking manifestation of late has been the near-total failure of the Christian church to expose and reject the destructive fraud that is Black Lives Matter.

That kind of failure requires extraordinary ignorance, extraordinary cowardice, or both. After all, it’s not like the veil hasn’t come off Black Lives Matter, if it was ever there in the first place. Its founders openly profess their allegiance to Marxism, history’s most genocidal ideology. Its members repeatedly encourage violence, destruction, and even murder. Its website calls for the “disruption of the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure”, the end of accepting heterosexuality as normal, and the avoidance of “environments in which men are centered”.

At least two of its leading lights—Patrisse Cullors and Malina Abdullah—practice a Yoruban zombie religion in which they may, or may not, sacrifice animals to invite the spirits of the dead to possess their bodies during their nightly riot activities. (Abdullah says she’s become very friendly with the spirits of the dead, and has had a lot of laughs with one named “Wakeesha”).

In addition, the cited catalyst for the entire movement—the “murder” of Trayvon Martin in 2012—is a lie. Trayvon Martin was not “murdered”. He violently assaulted a man named George Zimmerman by pounding his head into the pavement. Zimmerman then shot him in self-defense. That’s precisely why a jury of six women acquitted him. Yet Black Lives Matter is still calling it a “murder” on its website.

The second rationale for the movement—that a racist white cop gunned down an innocent “gentle giant” named Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri—is also a lie. After robbing a store, Brown attacked a police officer trying to arrest him. As a result, the officer shot Brown in self-defense. Attorney General Eric Holder himself confirmed this after an exhaustive review.

These aren’t the only Black Lives Matter lies, of course. It’s a lie that there’s an epidemic of racist police shootings. It’s a lie that defunding the police will help black communities (it does just the opposite, and has already directly enabled the murder of hundreds more black people, including children).

In short, you couldn’t invent an organization which more flagrantly violates a greater number of Biblical commandments and Christian ideals than Black Lives Matter. You have murder, beatings, necromancy, stealing, bearing false witness, covetousness, lying, insurrection against duly-elected leaders, worshipping false gods, assaults on the family, assaults on heterosexuality, and a transparently fake concern for the black lives every real Christian is duty-bound to see as creations of God. It’s a Satanic dream.

And yet…

Pretty much all of Leftism is a Satanic dream, really. Ironic that the modern libtard-subverted church would be so eager to grovel at the feet of the Prince Of Lies, solely in order to court the favor of people who hate them above almost anything else.

Portland’s 100% Antifa Murder Suspect Shot Dead By U.S. Marshals in Washington
The left-wing agitator who shot a Trump supporter in Portland last weekend, was shot and killed during a shootout with U.S. Marshals in Washington, Thursday evening, according to the Olympian.

Michael Forest Reinoehl, 48, had reportedly crossed state lines into Washington and the federal fugitive task force was able to track him to Lacey, Washington, a town outside of Olympia.

The usual Lefty mouthbreathers will undoubtedly weep, wail, and riot over their fellow cretinous cur’s having been “gunned down in cold blood” by “murderous, out of control cops,” “assassinated” and/or “executed” most cruelly, and blah de blah de blah. They can eat a great big bag of dead dog dicks over the injustice of the thing, for all I care; as long as the worthless motherfucker has been permanently wiped off the face of the earth—hopefully suffering horribly before assuming ambient temperature—I give not a single shit.

The antifa gunman had been arrested twice in recent months on multiple charges, including gun charges.

Reinoehl posted on Instagram, in June: “Every revolution needs people that are willing and ready to fight. There are many of us protesters that are just protesting without a clue of where that will lead. That’s just the beginning that’s where the fight starts. If that’s as far and you can take it thank you for your participation but please stand aside and support the ones that are willing to fight. I am 100% ANTIFA all the way! I am willing to fight for my brothers and sisters! Even if some of them are too ignorant to realize what antifa truly stands for.”

On Thursday night, 48-year-old Michael Forest Reinoehl, a man suspected of killing Trump supporter Aaron “Jay” Danielson, died in a shootout as U.S. Marshals closed in on his hideout. Reinoehl had posted, “I am 100% ANTIFA all the way,” (although he later insisted he was not a “member” of antifa) and he had joined the rioters during most of the nearly 100 nights they have terrorized the streets of Portland. He all but confessed to shooting Danielson in an interview Vice News published on Thursday. After Reinoehl’s death, Portland antifa rioters appear to have made him something of a martyr.

“You murdered Michael Reinoehl,” antifa rioters spray-painted on the street in front of the Penumbra Kelly Building, which houses Portland Police Bureau (PPB) offices and which rioters have repeatedly attacked.

“You killed Michael,” another graffiti message charged. “PPB murdered Michael Reinoehl,” read another. “[There is] blood on YOUR hands,” read a fourth.

Good. Ideally, Real Americans will be positively swimming in seas of PantiFa blood before long.

Another graffiti message featured hearts saying, “Long live Mike the best ally ever.”

Ahem. “Long live,” eh? Ummm, not so much, you malignant little parasite.

Rock ‘n’ roll legend Elvis Presley’s famous mansion “Graceland” in Memphis, Tennessee has been vandalized by BLM supporters.

On Monday night, “protesters” who support the Marxist organization Black Lives Matter spray-painted slogans such as “Defund the police,” “Abolish ICE,” “F*ck 12,” “F*ck Trump,” and more on the wall and sidewalks surrounding the estate.

The damage is estimated to cost around $150,000.

Country musician Travis Tritt condemned the vandalism on Twitter, writing, “Anyone who personally knew Elvis will tell you that he absolutely loved the black community and the black community loved him. It breaks my heart to see his memory tarnished this way.”

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee said, “Where I come from you don’t mess with Elvis!”

Damned straight you don’t. Kill them. Kill them ALL. No mercy, no quarter, no remorse.

Simple solutions are rarely either simple, or solutions

Schlichter splashes a bucket of cold-water practical reality all over the “send in the troops” idea.

Let me share some background. After I got off active duty the first time, I joined the California Army National Guard. For the next 23 years I participated in, planned, and commanded during multiple civilian support operations. I was in the Los Angeles Riots, the Northridge Earthquake, and I commanded two battalions along with other forces in northern San Diego County during the 2007 fires. I planned ops from platoon to state headquarters level, and wrote about civil support ops in Infantry magazine and even in a first-of-its-kind law review article. So, I know a little about this stuff.

And what I know tells me that, despite our fantastic soldiers’ abilities, this is a bad idea.

But why? Let’s address the donkey in the room – Democrat governors, mayors and district attorneys do not want military forces deployed and will at least refuse to cooperate with them, if not actively hinder them. That makes a blue city like Portland a “non-permissive environment,” and the military is certainly designed to operate in them. That’s why when the military moves in force with, say, an infantry brigade combat team (IBCT) of 5,000 soldiers plus support elements (thousands more), we essentially deploy a small town with everything we need to survive – food, fuel, ammo, medical, maintenance, commo, power, transportation, even lawyers. Typically, in cities engulfed in chaos, it’s a permissive environment. The cops work with us. They take custody of arrestees, hold them, and the DA prosecutes them. Hospitals take in our wounded and sick. We use local government property to operate out of. We have access to the infrastructure of society. But what if the Democrat regime refuses to allow all that? Then the troops are on their own; it’s now an invasion, and while doable logistically, it takes a massive footprint.

A permissive environment solves some, but not all of the issues we will review. A non-permissive environment makes the whole thing exponentially worse. 

The complications and punji-pits just go on a-multiplying from there, and Kurt delves into ’em thoroughly. I’ve been torn from the start about it myself; on the one hand, it’s tough to argue that a President should sit on his hands while a large number of Democrat-Riot Party governors and mayors sit back and let their cities be damaged and destroyed, rendered uninhabitable by their so-called leaders’ refusal to live up to their responsibilities, honor their oath of office, and do their duty.

On the other, though, it couldn’t have been more apparent that, their obstructionism aside, those outright criminal Demonrat officials were salivating at the prospect of being to brand Trump a dictator when he tried to restore law and order via military force. It is NEVER a good idea to do what Demonrats want—NEVER.

On the gripping hand, I can’t help but be reminded of Lincoln’s frustrated fatalism in January 1862: “It is exceedingly discouraging. As everywhere else, nothing can be done.”

But that isn’t by any means what Schlichter is saying.

These hard truths are not to say there is nothing for the feds to do. Until the Democrat regimes decide this needs to end and cooperate, the feds should do one of the few things the feds are good at – taking down large criminal organizations. Antifa is just like the drug cartels with less testosterone, and just like the mafia except with worse clothes and less testosterone. The feds should ignore the street thugs who make up the shock troops. It was no coincidence that 100 percent of the people Kyle shot had criminal records. The feds should focus on the LARPing middle class SJWs and the dedicated Marxist cadre and use RICO, conspiracy, and other federal charges to take them out and lock them up. When little Ashleigh from the suburbs realizes that she’s looking at five years in federal prison instead of heading back to the Evergreen State to finish her Bolivian Trans Dance of the 13th Century degree, the lawyer daddy buys her will get her to sing like a canary about her commie pals. The feds should identify and map the whole criminal organization, identify its players and funding, and wipe it out.

Look, it’s perfectly understandable to be frustrated. But getting mad at Trump because he is not doing something that would turn into the cluster fark to end all cluster farks is doing exactly what the liberal elite and its media minions want. Let Portland and the rest of the blue cities trash themselves. Let the DOJ, which has already charged dozens of these degenerates with federal beefs, do its thing. And make sure you get out and vote straight Republican if you want any hope of this ever ending.

Feds start leveling rare civil disorder charges against demonstrators for alleged violence at Portland protests
Two men and a woman appeared before a federal judge Wednesday in Portland, becoming the first in Oregon to face the rare federal charge of civil disorder for alleged violence during this summer’s turbulent protests.

A Seattle man is accused of launching a ball bearing with a slingshot during a downtown demonstration in July and striking a Portland Fire Bureau medic.

A Portland woman is accused of throwing a helmet that struck a police sergeant in the head last week outside the Police Bureau’s North Precinct.

The felony cases against Jesse Herman Bates, 38, Michelle Peterson O’Connor, 31, and Krystopher Michael Donnelly, 27, mark a significant detour from past practice in Oregon — federal prosecutors here haven’t used the charge in recent memory.

But U.S. attorneys in half a dozen other cities have brought similar civil disorder charges tied to violence that has erupted during protests nationwide decrying the May 25 death of George Floyd, a Black man who died after a white Minneapolis police officer knelt on his neck for more than eight minutes.

The Oregon U.S. Attorney’s Office is reviewing other violent actions from the last three months of protests and is expected to pursue similar civil disorder prosecutions.

What the hell, it’s a start. And if this courageous, valiant PantiFa warrior’s reaction to getting pinched is any indication, maybe it might suffice:

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – A Neenah man had a flamethrower, smoke grenades and fireworks during a demonstration in Green Bay Saturday night, according to police and prosecutors.

Matthew Banta, 23, is charged with obstructing an officer and two counts of felony bail jumping.

The criminal complaint says Banta “is known to be a violent Antifa member who incites violence in otherwise relatively peaceful protests.” Police say he’s known as “Commander Red.”

Green Bay police say they were called for “a whole bunch of white people with sticks, baseball bats and helmets headed… towards the police” on Walnut St. near Webster Ave.

“I don’t know who comes to a protest with a baseball bat for anything other than criminal or illegal activity,” said Green Bay Police Chief Andrew Smith.

A responding officer says he saw four individuals walking towards a protest with baseball bats. One man was wearing a metal helmet with goggles and military-style gear with multiple pouches, and was carrying an Antifa flag. When the officer pulled his squad car in front of the group, they ran away. The officer caught Banta, who was carrying the flag, and says Banta “dropped into the fetal position and began crying.” He accused the officer of lying on him; the officer replied nobody was on him.

Now, none of us should make the mistake of assuming they’re all as soft and gutless as this puling, pussified little baglapper is. Certainly, there are some genuinely hard boys in amongst the scrofulous, contemptible rabble of creampuffs, thumbsuckers, and mama’s boys. But there only has to be a large enough percentage of them who are for the whole sorry facade to be brought crashing down, perhaps even without having to destroy the nation utterly in getting the job done.

Q: What happens if Trump loses? A: More, and worse.

In modern America, hypocrisy and double standards aren’t merely part of the business climate; they’re endemic to the whole society. Former Heritage Foundation scholar and Washington Times writer Sam Francis dubbed this system “anarcho-tyranny”: complete freedom—even exemption from the gravest laws—for the favored, maximum vindictive enforcement against the pettiest infractions by the disfavored.

Rarely has an analysis been so vindicated by events. Even before the 1619 Riots began in May, anarcho-tyranny was already the de facto law of the land. Can you remember the last time anyone in Antifa was punished for anything? I can’t. But I do remember community college adjunct philosophy professor and Antifa thug Eric Clanton walloping three people on the head with a five-pound iron bike lock—and the Alameda County, California district attorney letting him go with probation.

I also remember, in pre-apocalypse New York City, Antifa goons getting into a fight—it’s hard to say who started it—with a group of men calling themselves the Proud Boys. Although no one was seriously injured, the NYPD expended significant time and resources tracking down the Proud Boys, but none whatsoever looking for any Antifa figures involved. Two Proud Boys were sentenced to four years in prison. No Antifa members were ever identified, much less charged with any crime, still much less tried or convicted. At most, the incident was a mutually idiotic brawl for which only one side was punished. The real distinction here is that the Proud Boys are regime dissidents while Antifa thugs are ruling-class shock troops.

All that, though, was child’s play compared to the nightly horrors Antifa—and their BLM allies—have wreaked on America’s streets for three straight months with close to zero official attempt to rein them in, and often with officials cheering them on. Examples—from Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to Governors Gavin Newsom, Andrew Cuomo, and Tim Walz, to Mayors Bill de Blasio, Eric Garcetti, Lori Lightfoot, Jenny Durkan, Ted Wheeler, and Jacob Frey—are too numerous to catalog fully. The latest atrocity came from Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers, who, the instant a career criminal wanted on an active warrant was shot while resisting arrest and, it appears, reaching into his car for a knife, took to Twitter to fire up the mob. His state’s fourth-largest city has burned every night since. It took him days to make even a token appeal for calm.

Then consider the fates of those not destroying America in the name of “social justice.” This story is still “developing” as they say, but as of Friday, August 28, a young man who appears to have had a Molotov cocktail thrown at him, a loaded pistol pointed at his face, and his head bashed with a skateboard after being chased by three Antifa thugs is currently in jail on a charge of first-degree murder.

The fundamental right of self-defense—the bedrock foundation of all our other rights—increasingly is not honored if you’re a member of a disfavored group and your attacker is not.

Our officials—at least in all the Democratic Party-controlled state and local governments—operate in the precise opposite way that they are supposed to. Instead of enforcing the law and maintaining order, they encourage riots, refuse to enforce the law, and then leap into action only when a victim defends himself. This is not incompetence or misguided idealism; it is evil. Should it continue, it will lead either to the collapse of the country or to revolution.

To return to more prosaic matters, should Trump lose, the repowered thought police will greatly expand its “enemies list.” Those deemed “dangerous” by the wokerati will be dogged by authorities. Any suspected dissident not as scrupulous as Caesar’s wife in his every interaction with the state will get the book thrown at him for minor, technical infractions of some law, executive order, or administrative rule. As the poor sucker is hauled away in cuffs by a heavily armed team of feds in windbreakers, CNN and MSNBC reporters—tipped off in advance to get it all on camera—will intone that this “dangerous white supremacist” with “ties to neo-Nazi groups” was “planning attacks.” Months or years later, after being held without bail, the unfortunate target will be convicted of something like mail fraud and given the maximum sentence. 

All of this is easy enough to predict because it is either what the Left is already doing where it has the power, or what it says it wants to do.

The lessons of California and New York show that when leftists no longer face opposition, they do whatever they want—or try to. The problem (for them, for now) is that they still face opposition from the red elements still extant in the federal government, from red states, and from red communities in their own states. Once the whole country has gone blue, though, things will be…different.

Don’t kid yourself for one moment that things couldn’t possibly get worse. Stretch “Antoinette” Piglosi just made the ultimate case for why all professional politicians of right ought to be strung up from the nearest lamppost without delay.

San Francisco salon owner Erica Kious disputed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) claim that she was “set up” by the salon this week when she broke COVID-19 restrictions and got her hair done at the salon, saying that Pelosi was the one who called and set up the appointment, and that she has been “coming in for quite a while.”

“She had called the stylist, or her assistant did, and made the appointment, so the appointment was already booked, so there was no way I could’ve set that up,” Kious said. “And I’ve had a camera system in there for five years. I mean, I didn’t go in there and turn cameras on as soon as she walked in to set her up. So that’s absolutely false.”

“So, Pelosi says that salons in San Francisco, and of course she lives there and she’s the most powerful democratic legislator in the world, but she said she understood that the restrictions allowed a one-on-one appointment in salons,” Fox News host Tucker Carlson said. “What do you make on that?”

“I heard that, and I thought to myself, well, as a hairstylist I see clients one-on-one, so, that would mean I would be open, right?” Kious responded.

“Are you open?” Carlson asked.

“No,” she responded.

Her Royal Majesty Piglousy, being who and what she is, has demanded an “apology” from the salon owner for daring to question her obviously justified elevation in status over the lowly peonage, and sent her legions of flying monkeys to avenge the disgrace of actually having to listening to the serf class having the temerity to question her about anything at all she wishes to do. Indeed, Her Most Puissant Highness is most displeased with you benighted swine, she is.

When asked what the shutdown has done to her business, Kious responded: “For the past six months, we’ve, I mean, we are pretty much done. I mean, we’ve lost at least 60% of our clients. I’ve lost the majority of my staff, so, six months is a long time to be closed down.”

“How do you feel about seeing the most powerful woman in America come into your salon in violation of the rules she supports, get caught, and then blame you for it?” Carlson asked.

You damned well better feel damned contrite about it, and hope that Her Liege is in a forgiving mood, lest she decree that your head be separated from your neck forcibly, with extreme prejudice.

“To be honest, it was more hurtful,” Kious responded. “She’s been coming in for quite a while, and just to see her come in and especially not wearing the mask, that’s what really got to me, but this isn’t even political. She’s been coming in there. It’s the fact that she actually came in and didn’t have a mask on, and I just thought about my staff and people not being able to work and make money and provide for their families, and if she is in there comfortably without a mask and feeling safe, then why are we shut down? Why am I not able to have clients come in? So, it’s been hard.”

“If Nancy Pelosi feels comfortable using your salon, why can’t civilians use it?” Carlson asked.

“Exactly and I’ll be honest, in our area in San Francisco, we are obviously the last county or city to not open,” she answered. “We’ve been trying to figure that out. We’ve been asking ourselves these questions for six months—I mean for the past actually four months, of why we are not reopened, and it’s kind of a good question. Again, we don’t know.”

Kious later stated that she does not plan on staying in San Francisco after this whole ordeal because of how the community has treated her in response to the situation with Pelosi.

I do hate to come across all churlish by pointing this out here and all, and I am most definitely on her side and wish her no ill, but…well, this being San Francisco, and knowing as I do the typical political leanings of the many, many salon owners and stylists I’ve known all through the years, well…I DO have to wonder who Ms Kious might have been voting for all these years, y’know?

No matter. I’d bet that after this dustup, however Left she might (or might not, in fairness) have been before, Kious is most likely a good deal less so than she was.

Anybody remember the quaint old days of yesteryear, when Americans used to take great pride in living in what they used to call a “classless society?” Nah, me neither. Hell, those days were long gone at least as far back as 1966 or so, as Gomer knew full well:

One of the truly remarkable — and chilling — aspects of the more arbitrary lockdown rules is that, in general, they have been consented to, not enforced. We have given away our rights as much they have been taken from us. Well, if Pelosi doesn’t have to live under these absurd restrictions, then neither should you.

The jig is up here. People have a right to feel frustrated and furious, and they also have a right to disobey these crushing laws that Democratic leaders impose but refuse to live by.

If all of this is beginning to feel to you like a sick charade, you aren’t alone. This is a slap in the face, but Democrats and their media allies don’t care. They are counting on you to just take it. But the American people can only take so much before they start demanding their lives and livelihoods back.

Might be time to bring back some old, tried-and-true favorites—like tar and feathers, riding on a rail, and the stocks.

Irreconcilable differences

Just another fantastic piece by Tal Bachman.

The truth is, there’s nothing particularly “united” about the United States these days. Even basic perceptions now differ. After watching the same video of 17 year old Kyle Rittenhouse, half the country thinks he committed pre-meditated murder, while the other half thinks he justifiably defended himself against weapon-wielding attackers. Same with the McCloskeys over in St. Louis: half the country saw them illegally threaten peaceful passersby; the other half saw them legally deter a mob of trespassers threatening their safety.

Half the country can’t glance at Trump without envisioning him in a Nazi uniform shouting from the Luitpoldarena podium in Nuremberg; the other half just sees a pragmatic, commonsense guy, albeit of eccentric appearance, who just wants to make America great—hell, even just functional—again after decades of mismanagement.

Half the country sees Joe Biden as a mentally sound, principled, independent man who’ll “calm everything down”; the other half sees him as the increasingly senile, corrupt, amoral puppet of cunning corporatistas and violent leftists. And we could spend another three hours thinking of examples just of the perceptual differences.

Sure, perceptual differences are one thing, but here’s the rub: objectively speaking, is one side right, and the other wrong? Does observable reality confirm the correctness of one side’s opinion, and refute the other’s? Because if it does, then any throat-clearing, mealymouthed tapdancing around to concede a “respect” for the side whose argument got demolished by objective reality, to grant that they “may have a point,” begins to look a whole lot less like politesse or civility and more like confusion at best, cowardice at worst.

As a result, we must say that Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron revealed a dangerous naiveté during his Tuesday night convention speech when he concluded that “we all just want the same things in the end”. No, we don’t. Some of us want to live in safe, clean communities, populated by strong families, pursuing meaningful, shared, morally-grounded lives of noble purpose. And some of us—quite a lot of us, actually—don’t.

Those that don’t have been obsessively destroying lives, careers, educations, reputations, property, everything they could, for months now, under protection from Democrat politicians. And remember that this ongoing destruction is only the most recent manifestation of a multi-decade effort to sow dissension, and co-opt or destroy every institution of influence necessary for healthy civic order.

No country can remain intact and democratic with moral and perceptual divides this great, nor with this many citizens actively or passively trying to destroy it. A house this divided just can’t remain standing for much longer, at least in its current form.

So where does that leave us?

In one hell of a pickle, that’s where, with no way out that won’t be difficult, painful, and surpassingly bloody. Tal posits three possibilities, the last and least likely of which is what he calls “national divorce.” It will never happen, for reasons I’ve specified here before and won’t revisit now, but Tal nevertheless paints a most appealing picture of what it could look like.

In the newly-created People’s Republic of Leftistan, for example, citizens could live out their political fantasies without being hindered by the gap-toothed, cross-burning, Bible-thumping, flyover-country yokels they believe populated most of their previous country, or by their orange, evil, racist, Nazi Klansman Führer hero, Donald Trump.

They could ban electricity, cars, straws, diapers, soft drinks, meat-eating, Christianity, heterosexual marriage, the English language (“the language of the slave owners”)—anything they wanted.

They could expand upon their infanticide fetish by offering Sunday morning child sacrifice rituals in their town squares.

They could import all 652 million Latin Americans and all one billion sub-Saharan Africans, then give them all guaranteed-incomes for life.

They could legalize crack cocaine, human-animal marriage, and even cannibalism. Come to think of it, they could appoint super-Democrat, author, and real-life cannibal Reza Aslan as their official Cannibalism Czar. He could visit Leftistan’s elementary schools to tell the kids all about the wondrous multiculturalist bona fides he earned after snacking on human brains during his CNN special. They could do anything they wanted.

And here’s the thing: Why not?

Yes, in ceding territory for Leftistan, the United States would be giving up some great California beach front, the New Jersey Boardwalk, Manhattan, and a few other valuable patches of land; but then, they’d also be excising a malignant demographic cancer comprised of demented, destructive humans which no healthy nation can tolerate. Without them, the United States would actually have a chance at being united again.

Not only that, but shorn of its would-be destroyers, America would begin to thrive like never before, building great families, great communities, great schools, great parks, great recreational activities, great churches, and great businesses. For my money, getting a lunatic-free country for a few beaches would be a damn fine trade.

Now, I admit a national divorce would be sad for some. Breakups, even the necessary ones, usually are. No one wants a beautiful dream to die.

I only say that the beautiful dream of Idaho, Alabama, Wyoming, and Mississippi one day seeing the world the same way as California, Massachusetts, New York, and New Jersey, and then unifying to forge a brilliant national future, was never going to come true; and more importantly, that beautiful dream has transformed into a real-life nightmare. Without a hard demographic reset (like violent lunatics all moving—or being moved—to Leftistan), the nightmare will never, ever end. If Trump wins in November, the riots, the delegitimizing of the victory, the refusal to accept the results, the false accusations, the pernicious media confections…it will all continue. And if Biden wins, the managed deconstruction of the United States—largely halted the past four years—will resume. Again: As long as these people are around, the nightmare will never, ever end.

The good news is, it ends as soon as they’re gone. Then a new dream begins—and that dream is one that, maybe, really could come true.

Probably so. In fact, it WAS true—American’s assumed birthright, more or less, which began to crumble only when Americans began taking it for granted—for many, many years. But before it can be brought to life again, we’re going to have to get them gone from us. And we all know that, as a practical matter, there’s only one way to do it.

An aside: I only recently learned that this Tal Bachman fellow, who’s been doing most of the heavy lifting of keeping Steyn Online alive as far as I’m concerned, is actually Randy Bachman’s son, a chip off the ol’ rock-block with a couple-three hit ditties of his own under his belt. Which biographical curiosity, happily, provides me with all the excuse I’ll ever need to trot out a good ol’ Bachman-Turner song.

Wanna talk terrorist murder, shitlibs? Assassins? I don’t think you do. I really don’t.

On Saturday, hundreds of Trump supporters gathered in the outskirts of Portland in a “Cruise Rally” in pick-up trucks with a lot of Trump 2020 flags decked out all over the cars.

After their rally, they then decided to drive into Portland. They were set upon, in the words of the media, by “counter-protesters” otherwise known as radical leftists/Antifa folk.

Leftist tried to block some of the cars, other cars they threw things at, threatened or stole flags from. Some of the Trump supporters defended themselves with pepper spray or paintball guns. There were multiple fights between the two groups.

They cornered Patriot Prayer’s Joey Gibson and beat the heck out of him. He survived because the folks in the gas station saved him and pulled him inside. Then Antifa tried to besiege the station.

But as we reported earlier, the worst incident was when a man came up and apparently walking up to the Trump supporter and fired point blank, killing him.

Then they celebrated the death of the Trump supporter, cheering when one of their leaders announced he was dead, even burning an American flag in the celebration, after slandering the man calling him a “nazi” and saying “our community held its own. they “took out the trash.”

The rancid piece of subhuman debris who pulled the trigger appears to be a 48 year old snowboard instructor named Michael Reinoehl.

The Nationalist Review wrote in their in-depth report, “the 48-year-old ‘professional snowboarder’ was previously featured on a Bloomberg promo for the riots where he described himself as part of the rioter’s security apparatus. Reinoehl touted his military experience and described events that led up to him receiving a bullet grazing on his arm. In the video, a neck tattoo identical to the shooter’s own tattoo is seen on his neck.”

What goes around comes around, scum. But just get a load of Portland riot co-conspirator Ted Wheeler’s response to Trump repeatedly calling him out for the nefarious muttonhead he is:

Sen. Rand Paul: My wife and I were attacked by a mob — Dems would worsen problem by bowing to rioters

Don’t look now, Senator, but they aren’t just “bowing” to them. They’re encouraging them, covering for them, lying about who they are and what they’re doing to help maintain the facade of legitimate protest, and ensuring that they’re exempt from the law by ordering cops to stand down and refusing to prosecute the handful who do get arrested.

The Dems aren’t “worsening” the problem; they ARE the problem. They need to be made to pay for that, and dearly.

My wife Kelley and I were attempting to leave the White House event. We were staying at a hotel directly across the street, maybe 50 yards from the gates of the White House. But as we went to leave, it became apparent there was no safe exit out the gates and through the unruly mob that had gathered there.

Why? Because another Democratic-run city had decided it would bow to lawless rioters instead of protecting its citizens. Mayor Muriel Bowser was asked by the Secret Service to allow wider and better protection for those leaving the White House Thursday night, but she refused.

Mayor Bowser and many others are responsible for what happened. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., called my Senate colleagues and me “enemies of the state.” Democratic vice-presidential nominee Sen. Kamala Harris has advocated paying bail to get violent rioters out of jail.

Three Democratic House members who are part of the socialist “Squad” have called for people to “take to the streets.”

Well, national Democrats, your people are listening to you. How does it feel to watch it happen?  Are you comfortable watching the mob go after my wife and me?

Of course they are. To them, you ARE the enemy. If you learn nothing else from your ordeal, Sen Paul, please learn that these filthy snakes in the grass are neither your colleagues nor your countrymen. They are well and truly enemies, and dangerous ones at that—enemies not just of you and your wife personally, but of every decent American, of the Constitution, of the country entire. And they aren’t just playing around here; the insurrection is for real, they’re all in and playing for keeps, and they firmly intend to win.

My question is: Who are these people? Who paid for their hotel rooms? Who flew them in? Law enforcement needs to look at the funding of violent criminal activity like this.

And national Democrats need to confront it. It’s organized. It’s paid for. It’s violent. It’s not about Black lives or any lives; it’s about anarchy and destruction. The American people are starting to catch on and grow tired of it.

So I ask Democratic presidential nominee former Vice President Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris this:

Will you stand up finally and denounce this violence and destruction? Will you quit inciting it and urge other leaders to do the same?

My wife and I await your answers.

I hope you aren’t holding your breath.

The Left is now very upset that someone showed up with a gun and shot rioters in Kenosha, Wisconsin because they are against…violence and lawlessness and civic unrest? Since when?

I have some big news for every glib apologist and coiffed tankie on the miserably compliant Left: You built this. You refused to condemn and stop it. You asked for this. You don’t get to take the high ground now. You own this. Quite literally: you paid for it. Leftist foundations and politicians have nurtured and grown BLM for many years now. We’re still not sure why more Republican leaders have not pointed out that convicted terrorist Susan Rosenberg is on the Board of Directors for the fundraising arm of BLM, for instance—but they should.

True, we’ve all paid for it. We’ve paid with our tax dollars to put generations of kids through a public school gulag that teaches them to justify exactly this sort of violence based on a toxic combination of identity politics and “America is evil.” We’ve paid the businesses we buy from even as we’ve watched them spend millions teaching and enforcing the same hateful ideology, turning Big Corporate into a giant re-education camp that scares workers into political submission. We’ve paid with our time using social media and the data we’ve given our tech companies as they slyly shape the public square with their speech codes.

But the American people will never forget what you did. What you started. Because we will have to put this evil genie back in the bottle. And it will take time and force—violence—in order to do so.

You have abetted the destruction of our cities so you could win an election. You—you corporate stooges, you glib and sinister Nurse Ratcheds, you elegant child abusers and mob apologists—have become a new party all your own. You are now the BLM-Antifa Party. You are too scared or too complicit to denounce either group.

Yet you now heap fearful denunciations on those who, however ill-advisedly, try to defend the life, liberty, and property that their complicit and incompetent governments will not. We will not mindlessly accept your kneejerk narrative about Kyle Rittenhouse being some kind of crazed Nazi who gunned down innocent protestors in cold blood. Your convenient narrative does not comport with the facts that even the New York Times recently set forth. We will wait for more facts. We will watch all the video. We will not throw him under the bus, and neither should any American who believes in equality under the law.

Of course we don’t want citizens roaming the streets with guns drawn. Of course this tempts fate—and risks more tragic, needless violence. But that’s the point for the BLM-Antifa Party. That’s exactly what they want. That’s exactly what you asked for when you unleashed them.

The “moral” outrage of the twitterati right now is, in truth, shameless cowardice. Do you really think people are supposed to sit back and let “mostly peaceful” militias and mobs destroy their cities because you say so? Kenosha is supposed to welcome out-of-town extremists trained in terror tactics and shelter in place while their city is smashed to bits and burned to the ground?

No.

A good piece through and through by Dr Matthew Peterson, one of the founding editors of the American Mind website, but I have to say this “however ill-advisedly” nonsense is wearing thin. Likewise all the guff popping up about how he’s “just a child,” that his parents should have never let him go to Kenosha, that he had no business whatsoever “traveling across state lines” all of the twelve or fifteen miles it is from his home of Antioch, Illinois to insert himself into a fraught and dangerous situation he was neither intellectually nor emotionally equipped to handle in an adult fashion.

Well, bullshit. In my not-even-slightly-humble opinion, this young man ought to be praised to the heavens by all right-thinking people, from now till doomsday. He bravely stepped up to try to help his neighbors in need; his steady, measured actions when violently attacked by a rabid mob prove that at 17 he’s way more of an adult than one hell of a lot of snot-nosed shitlibs I can think of ever will be.

As for the disingenous shrieking from the demon Left dubbing him “the vigilante assassin,” a white supremacist murderer, a “domestic terrorist” and similar rot, to hell with them. Here’s how this brutal, heartless killer spent his day prior to successfully defending himself against the usual Leftard violence:

Mr. Rittenhouse was arrested early Wednesday in his hometown, Antioch, Ill., which is about 30 minutes southwest of the protests in Kenosha, just over the state line.

Multiple posts on his social media accounts proclaim support for pro-police causes like the Blue Lives Matter movement and Humanize the Badge, a nonprofit that he ran a Facebook fund-raiser for on his 16th birthday.

In most of the footage The Times has reviewed from before the shootings, Mr. Rittenhouse is around this area. He also offers medical assistance to protesters.

About 15 minutes before the first shooting, police officers drive past Mr. Rittenhouse, and the other armed civilians who claim to be protecting the dealership, and offer water out of appreciation.

Mr. Rittenhouse walks up to a police vehicle carrying his rifle and talks with the officers.

He eventually leaves the dealership and is barred by the police from returning. Six minutes later footage shows Mr. Rittenhouse being chased by an unknown group of people into the parking lot of another dealership several blocks away.

Rittenhouse was also photographed earlier that day helping to scrub graffiti off of a wall and other such hateful, murderously racist terrorist activity.

Screw the Proggy assholes, pantywaisted Weepycons, and everybody else wringing their hands and moaning about him. Their armchair-quarterbacking is just background noise, and should be treated as such. Kyle felt the need to go to Kenosha and volunteer his assistance, in any way he could be of help. He very sensibly came prepared to defend his life against the mad dogs unleashed there, as elsewhere, by local Democrat-Socialist-Rioter Party officials. He kept his calm and manfully stood his ground when faced with an unprovoked, homicidal attack, giving a good accounting of himself.

He was outnumbered, but he wasn’t outgunned. Under tremendous pressure, he cooly took out the trash, removing some true filth from the streets of Wisconsin. His parents should be mighty damned proud of their boy, I say. I’d just bet there’s a USMC recruited somewhere in the area who is practically drooling over the prospect of signing up such a stellar example of brave, resourceful, and upstanding American manhood.

Throw Kyle under the bus? NEVER. I say again: he is a bona fide American Hero, and my hat is off to him. Every Real American should support, encourage, and stand behind him without reservation or reluctance.
