Getting literal

The crucible of hate burns away all impurities, leaving only truth.

Liberals are jumping with glee right now. Yes, some are sending well wishes, but it’s people who, you know, mostly can’t tweet how they really feel. Pete Buttigieg is a former 2020 Democratic candidate for president, he can’t go with the “I hope you die” route.  All these well-wishers on the Left don’t mean it. They’re snickering. They’re laughing. They’re hoping Trump dies. I wouldn’t expect anything less. These people hate us, and we should hate them with greater intensity. My hatred of the Left is what keeps me going every day. I’m sure you all could tell. If a liberal was drowning, I wouldn’t throw a life vest. I’d throw an anvil.

People have many opinions about politics. Some think public service is a means of doing good. It’s become a snake pit, however, and while our Founding Fathers were brilliant–our institutions are pretty much crap now. Damaged beyond repair? No. Of course not, but eight years of Barack Obama certainly chiseled away at their credibility. Have we forgotten that the Department of Justice was weaponized and spied on the presidential campaign of the rival political party?

Again, let the Left be terrible. What is often missed in these incidents where liberals get their rocks off is that conservatives often think we get brownie points for being the “better man.” That’s crap, especially now. It’s an election year. We are where politics usually resides—in the gutter. It’s a knife fight. The one who inflicts the most damage and spills the most blood—figuratively speaking—wins.

That’s the only rule to live by now. Politics is war. The Left is just lusting to enact an agenda that snuffs us out, and their 100+ days of rioting should give insight into how far they are willing to go to achieve that aim. Don’t be the “better person.” We never ever will get credit for being the better, principled party—ever. Have we learned nothing from 2012? When we get punched or have hate hurled at us, throw it right back.

Sorry to have to say it and all, but I’m afraid we blew right on by that “figuratively speaking” sidewinding and left it in the rearview a goodish while back.

“Figuratively speaking” didn’t prevent the four-year Deep State coup attempt; Shampeachment; the destruction of the Trump economy via the Covidiot pretext; and the burning of American cities because of yet another lie, among other things. It isn’t going to prevent the theft of the upcoming election, continued violence against Real Americans by Leftist mobs, and the perennial campaign to undermine and tear asunder the US Constitution.

“Figuratively speaking,” for better or worse, is no longer adequate to the task before us. It’s a luxury available only in nations less fractured and divided than this one now is. Things are about to get very literal indeed, whether we like it or not.

Denounce THIS

Sadly, I think the Proud Boys’ leadership stumbled badly on this one.

Enrique Tarrio insists that the Proud Boys aren’t White supremacists, and he would be in a position to know. For one, he’s the international chairman. For another, he’s Black.

“I denounce White supremacy,” Mr. Tarrio said in a Thursday interview with WSVN-TV in Miami. “I denounce anti-Semitism. I denounce racism. I denounce fascism. I denounce communism and any other -ism that is prejudiced toward people because of their race, religion, culture, tone of skin.”

Mr. Tarrio headed the rising tide of those defending the Proud Boys against accusations of racism after President Trump came under fire for refusing to denounce the right-wing activist group at Tuesday’s debate.

In Salt Lake City, Proud Boys members held a joint news conference Wednesday with a local Black Lives Matter leader to correct the record and “denounce White supremacy.”

Dude, wrong answer. You NEVER apologize to these scum; NEVER justify yourself; NEVER try to appease them; NEVER give a single inch or back down to them in any form or fashion; NEVER legitimize them by responding as if you actually take them seriously, or even consider them worthy of a moment’s notice.

Instead, you HAMMER them. You keep pounding away at them relentlessly, ceaselessly, ruthlessly. You show them no mercy, not ever, not the least little bit, not for one second. There is only one proper response to the accusations, the slanders, the lies. It consists of but two little words:

FUCK.

YOU.

If you like, up the ante by hurling their accusations right back in their teeth: YEAH, I’M A GODDAMNED WHITE SUPREMACIST. I’m a racist, homophobe, transphobe, misogynist, Islamophobe, et al ad infinitum. What of it? NOW what, douchebag? Rile them up further yet by throwing in a casual “nigger,” “faggot,” “bitch,” “raghead,” “freak,” and such-like if you feel like really chumming the water. Lather, rinse, repeat, until you’ve fucked with their heads so badly they can do no more than splutter and choke with confused, vein-popping rage in response.

And then give them the most supercilious, insulting little smirk you can produce, and walk away. You’ve just demonstrated, beyond any possible doubt, just how deep your contempt for them really runs, just how little regard you hold for any halfwit opinion or belief they may cherish.

See, the moment you give Leftards the satisfaction of agreeing to “denounce” whatever stupid-ass thing it is that they insist you denounce is the moment you lose. You’ve conceded their premise, which amounts to agreeing to play THEIR game, on THEIR field, by THEIR rules. And for what? It will buy you nothing. You can be sure that they’ll be back again and again, bringing more hoops for you to jump through. Their demands will only escalate, forever and ever. No matter what you do or say, no matter how severely you debase yourself in hopes of a little peace and quiet, it will never, ever be enough to placate them.

Don’t believe me? You might ask one Donald J Trump about it.

“Trump is a Racist” has been trending on Twitter following Tuesday’s presidential debates, despite President Donald Trump denouncing white supremacy and white nationalists again and again over the years, revealing that the mainstream media has traded what is true for what they want to believe.

Twitter user James Klüg posted a video on Twitter Wednesday evening, stitching together 17 times Trump has publicly denounced white supremacy and white nationalism over the years.

And even that list is almost certainly not all-inclusive.

But still they hound the man. In fact, some of the very same Leftymedia assholes currently indignant over Trump’s OUTRAGEOUS!! “refusal” to “denounce white supremacy” have personally heard him do exactly that before:

They’re lying, they know they’re lying, and they don’t care who knows they’re lying. So fuck them all to hell and gone. Don’t play the game; it’s rigged, and was never a very interesting or amusing one anyway. Give them a hearty FOAD, accompanied by the Hawaiian Good Luck Sign just for added emphasis, and then go find yourself somebody you might actually be able to have a worthwhile conversation with instead. Life’s too short to waste any of it fooling around with shitlibs and their “demands.”

Be saaaafe!

You got played, suckas.

If this video doesn’t get your blood pressure up after months of being forced to wear masks “for your safety,” then you’re probably dead already from the Chinese WuFlu (or at least that’s what the coroner scribbled on your death certificate).

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf and Representative Wendy Ullman (D-Bad People) were caught on a hot mic giggling about the “political theater” they were about to partake in at a press conference. Wolf is heard telling Ullman he’s going to take off his mask to speak while Ullman responds that she’s going to keep hers on for the cameras to make sure people see her in it. “I’m waiting so we can do a little political theater,” she says, laughing. “So it’s on camera!”

In other words, it’s all a game and you’re the butt of the joke. Enjoy this sh*tshow while I contemplate throwing a brick through a window somewhere.

Which will accomplish nothing whatsoever. Rather than ruining some poor schmo’s home or storefront to no good purpose, you might try throwing those bricks—and/or other needful things—at the heads of the dimestore dictators who’ve made such utter fools out of you, instead.

Update! The dimestore-iest dictator, the tinpotty-est tyrant of them all decrees: you bleating sheep either bend the knee, or you’ll feel the lash.

Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) announced on Tuesday that the city will “aggressively” move to enforce mask mandates and fine those who refuse to wear a face covering.

The mayor spoke about the continued actions in the city to combat the Chinese coronavirus, citing hundreds of additional city agency personnel handing out masks, encouraging testing, and “pushing back against misinformation.”

De Blasio also announced an additional enforcement measure: mask patrols.

“Anyone who is not wearing a face covering will be offered one, will be reminded it is required, and anyone who refuses to wear a face covering will be told that if they don’t put one on they will be fined, and anyone who still refuses will be fined,” he explained, noting that it will “happen aggressively.”

Oh, I’m quite confident it will, Herr Fuehrer. Tell us, though, what you intend to do once there aren’t any cops left in NYC to do your stormtroopin’ for you?

Fix: IN

Bonchie sounds the note of despair.

This is not the kind of big news you want to get on an otherwise slow Sunday morning, but here it is. Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo is reporting this morning that there will be no Durham interim report or indictments coming before the election. By the wording, she may actually be saying there’s no report coming at all.

If true, this is a travesty of justice of the highest order given what has transpired the last five years.

Whether or not you believe this news will probably depend on the level of cynicism you normally operate with in regards to this topic. I’ve been far more skeptical of the Durham investigation than even I’d like to admit at times. While I want people to be brought to justice, it’s the kind of thing that never seems to happen when the targets are of a Democrat nature (yeah, I know Comey is a “Republican”).

There are other reasons to think this is true though. With only five weeks before the election, was the DOJ really going to throw an “election interference” bomb into the mix by indicting high-level anti-Trump figures right before the vote? That’s always been a fear of mine for a while, i.e. that those involved in this investigation and Lindsey Graham’s Senate investigation would successfully run out the clock and try to wait until the transition period. It appears both those things have happened, as we are now so close to the election that no one that lacks Trump’s will and demeanor, which is necessary to do what’s right in this case, is going to want to be seen as influencing the election. Trump wouldn’t care, nor should he, but Bill Barr might. Lindsey Graham would.

All of this should have ended months ago. The Durham investigation has now had nearly as much time as the Mueller investigation had. Graham’s Senate committee quite literally had years to get their interviews and report done. Now, even if they move before the election, they will be playing right into Democrat hands.

This is a strategic blunder, but it’s also a moral blunder. The American people need to know they have a justice system that treats all people fairly, regardless of political persuasion.

On the contrary, I strongly suspect that the American people—the more perspicacious and attentive among them, at least—know, and have known for quite a long while, that they have no such thing—nor do they have much chance of ever getting themselves one.

Thugocracy

For starters, I agree with this completely.

I can rant and rave all day and all night about the many systemic problems we have with law enforcement in America. Too militarized; too isolated from the the people they are supposed “to protect and serve;” far too willing to protect their authority over absolutely harmless people…up to the point of shooting them; part of the disgusting schemes of most municipalities to use policing to increase their revenues via ticketing; and about a million other reasons.

But when people riot? All bets are off. I want the cops to swing those batons and bowl people over and shoot them with pepper spray, non-lethal rounds, and lethal rounds if the lives of the police or innocents are at any risk. I want them to use snipers to shoot anyone throwing incendiaries. I want them to arrest everybody, including the media stoking the fires of insurrection, the hilariously misnamed Antifa and BLM “medics,” who claim some sort of immunity, and then toss them in wagons and drive them out to some remote county jail for a few days of bliss in the general population.

I’m with ya, buddy. No cop-sucker I, but as I’ve said here many times: I have both family and friends who are cops, and have been around ’em my whole life. I’ll take a cop six days a week and twice on Sundays over any ten Burn Loot Murder or PantiFa types you could name. Yes, there are plenty of bad-apple cops out there, but by and large the boys in blue are okay with me.

Right up until I run across a sickening story like this.

Alecia Kitts drove an hour and a half from Marietta to Logan, Ohio to watch her son’s football game.

In the first quarter she was approached by an officer from the Logan Police Department because she was not wearing a mask.

According to Tiffany Kennedy, the woman who shot the above video, Kitts had not been warned for not wearing a mask prior to the officer approaching her.  Kennedy also said that Kitts has asthma and that’s why she was not wearing a mask.

“There is no reason to tase someone and arrest them for not wearing a mask,” Kennedy said.

Kennedy also pointed out the female officer who is shown running toward the Logan officer and Kitts at the end of the video was not wearing a mask – pulling one out of her pocket as she was in pursuit.

“Alecia’s mom said that when the officer tased her, the current went through the bleachers and zapped the kid sitting there too.”

Kitts appears to be socially distanced from others in the crowd and sitting with her family. “There were only 25 or 30 fans from our town on our side,” said Kennedy.

Inexcusable, unacceptable, and completely intolerable. Being defunded ought to be the very LEAST of worries for Gestapo goons like these; asshole cops like this ought to be prosecuted for assault and thrown into general-pop for a good, long stretch of TRULY “hard time.”

Hoft asks: “This Is America?” No, Jim, it is not. It most certainly is NOT. Not even close, it ain’t.

Yeah, yeah, she offered resistance to Officer Friendly’s attempt to cuff her for not wearing the Mask of Submission. Well, so what? In the first place, she was in the right. The Founders would have expected no less from her, and from all of us, than flat refusal to comply with any and all contra-Constitutional tyranny, regardless of what flimsy “health-and-safety” excuse the Power pukes up for imposing it. It might not have been the wisest move; it might not have been the easiest path for her to take. But as a matter of principle, it was the correct one.

In the second place, the woman suffers from chronic asthma—a condition which, according to the Ohio decree (along with every other one I know of), provides her with preemptive absolution for the sin of refusing the Mask Of Submission.

But when I first started working on this post, right away I decided to hold off on putting it up to wait for the silver lining I anticipated: a budget-busting lawsuit that would leave Ms Kitts a very wealthy woman indeed. And lo, my patience has been rewarded, with not one but two silver linings cropping up.

A police officer who tasered a woman who refused to wear a mask at a middle school football game has been bombarded with death threats and racist insults.

Some of those opposed to the officer’s actions, according to ABC6, have begun inundating the Logan Police Department with angry and threatening phone calls.

A captain with the department stated that their office is currently receiving more than “300 calls an hour” regarding Smith, who has also received “multiple death threats and racial insults.”

Aww, what a shame. Sucks to be you, Deppitty Dawg.

A lawyer for Kitts, the woman who was arrested, has argued that his client was exempt from the law due to her asthma.

“Ms. Kitts explained to the policy officer and administrators that she has asthma, but they ignored her,” attorney Maurice A. Thompson told NBC4. “Their position was that un-masked asthmatic must leave the stadium, (which) is not consistent with any directive or other law.”

Go get ’em, then. Make ’em pay, but good.

First two don’t count

The title of the article says, “This city just banned candy from supermarket checkout aisles.” Now guess which city, and more particularly, what the political leanings of its goobermint might be.

Go on, guess.

Beginning in March 2021, Berkeley, California, will become the first US city to ban the sale of unhealthy food from supermarket checkout areas.

That liberal Bay Area city council unanimously voted Tuesday night that, starting next year, grocery stores larger than 2,500 square feet will be required to sell not the typical selection of junk food but 25 square feet of healthy items within the three-foot radius of the register.

The “healthy checkout” ordinance defines healthy as items containing five or less grams of added sugar and less than 250 milligrams of sodium per serving, according to ABC 7.

“We’re not saying you can’t have these goods. We’re just saying they’re not going to be right at the eye level of your children when they walk into the store and you’re waiting in that long line at check out,” Council Member Kate Harrison said. “We know that people that eat a lot of high-sugar and salty products have worse health outcomes and this particularly besets low-income communities and people of color.”

The decision is not intended as a punishment or a war on treats so much as a discouragement of poor eating habits, Harrison said.

“It’s not a ban, it’s a nudge,” she told CNN.

No no no, of course it isn’t. The ban comes along later.

Whatever would we benighted, igner’nt serfs DO without our Leftist lords and masters to make our decisions for us, according to what they in their infinite wisdom deem best?

No deal

Francis on folly.

The political trenches are heavy with commentators who write smart, literate pieces but who are utterly filled with folly. Folly, as Barbara Tuchman once wrote, is knowing better but doing worse. Persons who promote follies typically refuse to heed the lessons of the past. At least, that’s the most common form of folly in politics and political advocacy.

Here’s a sample of current relevance:

One of the big fears that some conservatives have about Republicans doing the simple thing that they were elected to do by confirming a conservative Supreme Court justice is that Democrats would respond by packing the court. As such, they are proposing a “compromise.” The idea, first put forward by Adam White in a thoughtful piece, is that President Trump nominates somebody, but Republicans agree not to vote until after the election (and to not confirm a nominee in a lame-duck session if they lose) as long as Democrats agree to not pack the court. The idea has gained adherents, including David French and Jonah Goldberg.

I don’t know anything about Adam White. I know little more about David French, other than that he’s a foaming-at-the-mouth NeverTrumper. But I followed Goldberg’s essays for some time, and I own one of his books. I have no doubt that he’s a smart fellow, his aversion to President Trump notwithstanding. However, these three persons are united in a folly of monumental dimensions: They believe the Democrats would keep a promise when violating it would be massively favorable to their interests.

The Democrats do not keep promises. The record is quite definite on this subject. Why, therefore, would the GOP’s Senate caucus trust the Democrats to do so in this supremely important matter – a matter the Left has been talking about for years?

Do I hear someone in the back rows nattering about “collegiality?” Where was collegiality during the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings? Where was it during impeachment hearings and the Senate trial of President Trump? Where is it today, when prominent Democrats routinely slander President Trump as a dictator and anyone who supports him as either stupid or evil?

Given the open, venomous viciousness of the highest-placed Democrats at this time, why would anyone believe, against the historical evidence, that “this time it will be different?”

Folly, pure and simple.

He couldn’t be more right. From this day forward, Republicans should adhere to one rule first, last, and always: No deals with Democrats. Period, full stop, end of story, and to hell with French, Goldberg, this Smith fellow, and any and all others still foolish enough to believe that the Democrat-Socialists ever, EVER operate “in good faith,” or have any intention of honoring agreements made with them.

When in power, the Demonrats simply run roughshod over their opposition. They ignore reasonable objections; negotiate dishonestly; quash legitimate disagreement; and promote “compromise” with every intention of breaking its terms right from the beginning. No “deal” with them is ever worth the proverbial bucket of warm piss; they consider no oath, covenant, or contract to be binding—for THEM, that is.

At the moment, Trump inarguably has complete Constitutional authority to nominate a replacement for RBG at any time he chooses. Likewise, Senate Republicans are without question empowered to confirm that nominee, by whatever process they deem appropriate, at whatever time they deem expedient. Not one Democrat-Socialist shitweasel can say a word about any of it, either. Or rather, they can say anything they want. Republicans, however, are under no obligation to listen, much less to allow any suggestion and/or complaint from Team Tyranny to influence how matters do or do not proceed.

Democrat-Socialists have for decades wielded power ruthlessly, without the slightest regard for appearances, consequences, or blowback. Their ruthlessness, their faithlessness and megalomania, should now be repaid in full, to the last dram. In the SC fight, as everywhere else, they should be flatly disregarded, any attempt to slither their way into meaningful input beyond the yes-or-no vote the Constitution grants them smacked down with extreme contempt. In all situations, they should be dealt with not as the “partners” they falsely claim to be when they see advantage in it, but as the enemies they truly are.

In a different but still certainly related context, General Flynn’s family pulls no punches.

Abusive, intentional lawless actions committed against the Republic, the President of the United States Donald J Trump and his NSA Director and our brother, General Mike Fynn, by a vile cabal of thugs in the FBI, DOJ, and Special Counsel’s office threatened the national security of our country and all Americans…

The abject abuses of power of the Obama-Biden administration and those who deceived, lied, and conspired to destroy Gen Flynn and violate his rights must be held to account. He has been denied his liberty and freedom for four years. This must end. Judge Sullivan has one obligation. That obligation is to dismiss this case with prejudice, immediately.

The American people deserve to know the truth as to all the misconduct and the dishonest people culpable for their actions. Gen Flynn demands that the Government unredact this exculpatory evidence. It is high time that Barack Obama and Joe Biden be held to account for leading their campaign of injustice against Gen Flynn, the President, the American public, and the Rule of Law.

DAMNED. STRAIGHT. Lots more good stuff between my ellipses; the original is an image file, and my weary old fingers could only transcribe so much before conking out with an agonized creak. But you’ll enjoy reading the whole thing, I promise.

As Sundance so pithily puts it: “The time for diplomatic niceties is over.” And so it is. I repeat: no deals with Democrats. Our side has nothing to gain, and everything to lose, by continuing to pretend that they’re honorable men. As Francis said, that’s folly, pure and simple. No more of it. If crush them we must—and it’s clear that we must—the only thing we need to concern ourselves with now is getting on with the job.

Confirmation of what we all already knew

Bidens busted.

With the release Wednesday of Senator Ron Johnson’s (R-Wis.) long-awaited investigation into the Biden family’s corrupt, possibly criminal, ties to Ukraine and other countries, one thing is clear: Had the information in the report been made public a year ago, it’s nearly impossible to believe Joe Biden would still be the Democratic nominee for president.

The fall of 2019 seems like a lifetime ago, but it’s worth revisiting to give context to this bombshell report.

As the Democratic race for president took shape last year, the media started asking uncomfortable questions. “Will Hunter Biden Jeopardize His Father’s Campaign?” read the headline of a nearly 11,000-word exposé in the July 2019 issue of The New Yorker.

Other news organizations followed suit. Senate Republicans finally were zoning in on the shady business dealings of their former colleague’s son.

Well, you know the rest of the story. House Democrats successfully changed the subject by manufacturing an impeachment case against President Trump based on the account of a partisan “whistleblower” connected to Biden. The country, once again, was thrown into political chaos.

The Democrats’ gambit worked. They knew Trump would not be convicted by a Republican Senate, but Hunter Biden’s name quickly vanished from the headlines. America’s complicit news media cowered to the mob-like threats of Team Biden and have since kept their mouths shut. Hunter Biden, unscathed, even made a cameo appearance at the virtual Democratic National Convention.

Trump’s impeachment served two purposes: to bury one more scandal under the self-proclaimed “scandal free” Obama Administration and to save Joe Biden’s candidacy. It was straight-up interference with the 2020 election because without the impeachment diversions, it’s very likely that either Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren, not Biden, would be on the November ballot right now.

But, as the Democrat-Socialists bring their upcoming election-fraud plans further out into the clear light of day, how much can the identity of the lead puppets in the 202 Election-kabuki really matter? There can no longer be the least doubt about the intention here. Nor should any Real Americans be indulging themselves with soothing dismissals of their chances for successfully pulling this scheme off, either.

Don’t kid yourselves, people: with deadlines for counting (fraudulent) ballots extended recently in some putative toss-up states to as many as six (6!) days after election day, the Demonrats will be “finding” ballots all over the place—in trunks of cars, underneath whorehouse chaise-longues cushions, and tucked securely into the scrotum-pouch of Biden’s skidmarked Underoos—the totting-up continuing until they reach the number needed to “win.” Let’s not overlook just straight-up throwing Trump ballots away, either.

Then, after all the folding, spindling, mutilating, and simply discarding they deem necessary, the Democrat-Socialist election-theft apparatus will happily announce a tremendous, Constitution-saving Biden “victory,” followed by a demand that Trump be bodily expelled from the White House AT ONCE by the US military, to be tried and duly punished for Crimes Against The State The People Democracy. The order will be complied with by the Puzzle Palace with alacrity, an oh-so-somber, frowny-faced “concern” written all across the “honest” faces of the Blue Falcon flag officers “serving” in the Obama Replacement Corps.

Every bit of this hackery, jiggery-pokery, and brazen lawless chicanery enjoying the full-throated endorsement of Leftymedia, of course. Their choked-up, tear-streaked sincerity as these “journalists” report the Fake News with nearly 15% more fairness and impartiality than ever before—thereby saving the country and changing the course of history, just the way they were taught to in their J-school classes—will fairly well make the welkin ring with admiration for their selflessness and “patriotism.”

Such a fulsome realization of the “ethics” of their “noble” “profession,” demanding and uncompromising as those standards are, will surely swell the hearts of their countrymen with awestruck gratitude. Who among them dared to hope that such heroic courage, such dedication, such fierce resolve, might yet abide in their humble midst? O brave new world/That has such people in ‘t!

So let there be no further doubt about what’s coming: the Demonrats ARE GOING to steal this election. Not just “plan to”; not just “try to.” STEAL. IT. Lock, stock, and barrel. Which leaves us with but three things to be decided:

  • IMPORTANT: What, if anything, will Real Americans do about that, assuming there’s a damned thing that CAN be done about it?
  • MORE IMPORTANT: is there any limit or restriction on the actions undertaken in order to stop them?
  • THE WHOLE ENCHILADA: SHOULD there be?

Yep, Real Americans are caught on the horns of the prickliest dilemma this nation has ever faced, with absolutely everything riding on the direction they pick to jump off ’em. No matter what your religious convictions (if any) might be, the option of prayer has never looked like a more rational, realistic choice.

If you’re really interested in further discussion and analysis of the intricacies of Johnson’s and Grassley’s report, you can find some here and here.

Myself, I am emphatically NOT interested. As my post-title up there says, the report is merely formal confirmation of things we all already knew anyway. The election, the effort to hijack it, and the larger and rapidly-escalating conflict with the Left have totally eclipsed it.

Should the election turn out badly, there will be no further thought of addressing the crimes enumerated in the report anyway; it will go straight into the burn-bin of history, a non-event to be burned out of the national memory for all time. So to my mind, whatever relevance is still borne by it lies not in the details or conclusions therein, but entirely and exclusively in its usefulness as a weapon to obliterate not only Biden, but the Democrat-Socialist Party itself.

Democrat rioters gun down two more cops

Mostly-peaceful domestic terrorists.

Two police officers were reportedly shot in Louisville during Wednesday night’s riots.

The crowd scattered after several loud bangs shortly after 8:30 PM.

NBC News later reported that the police department confirmed that two officers had been shot. The officers were reportedly transported to Louisville University Hospital. Fox 43 News also reported that two officers had been shot.

Then there’s this:

And now…

Armed militia members are marching into Louisville.

Oh boy.

Via Anonymous, the militia has been identified as members of the “National Patriotic Defense Team” a right-wing militant group that operates in Kentucky.

A “right-wing militant group.” Hey, ain’t they all? Nary a mention of the violent mob’s political leanings to be seen, natch.

But who the hell cares? Nobody should be either surprised or the least bit bothered by the blatant propagandizing at this late date; libmedia “reporters” are just additional players in the game now. And they’re every bit as much the enemy as the rest of them are.

Good hunting, boys.

Vengeance is OURS

Ram it up their Fourth Point Of Contact—sideways.

This is the moment we’ve been waiting for since Christine Blasey Ford took the stage with her grating baby voice and testimony full of holes and slander. We still remember every sickening moment that Democrats dragged a good man through the mud, terrorized his wife, and traumatized his 10-year-old daughter who had to be told what a “gang rape” was and why the man on the TV kept saying it about her dad.

Actually, I’ve been waiting for it since the outrageous smearing of Clarence Thomas, a good man and a superb Justice, as the kind of sicko that would actually yank out one of his short ‘n’ curlies and stick it onto a Coke can so’s one of his underlings would…what, be turned on and more amenable to his unwanted advances by it or something? I mean, who but a lying Demonrat degenerate would ever even be able to come up with such bizarre, out-in-left-field horsepuckey as that, anyway?

We can still see the look on Mrs. Kavanaugh’s face as she walked side by side with her husband on the way to a hearing that was more like entering a torture chamber. We remember a grown man crying and pleading for his name. And we remember laughing Democrats without a shred of humanity sitting there, levying false and defamatory accusations at a man for daring to keep a calendar of his juvenile years and enjoying beer. We were there. Did they forget?

Of course they didn’t. They’re hoping WE did, or at least that we’ll lie back and take it with kicking up too much of a fuss. Y’knoe, like we always have before.

This moment in time was so intensely unfair and maddening that I locked myself in my office for six months and pounded out a book about all the times in history women have lied to destroy men. Believe all women??? Ha! Tell that to the victims of the Salem witch trials or the Scottsboro boys.

Did they really think that this “dying wish” tactic was going to work on us? Even if it were Ginsburg’s dying wish and she had videotaped herself saying that the next president should fill her seat to satisfy her last earthly desire, so what? It’s not her seat… it’s ours! There’s no “dying wish” clause in the Constitution. The president nominates members of the Supreme Court and our president is still in the job until January of 2021 (at least). We cannot have an empty seat on the highest court in this crazy upside-down world for four months. Let’s forget for a moment that we know the election is going to be contested and we will need a Supreme Court that’s not going to tie in that scenario. But forget that. Let’s focus on what matters.

Revenge.

This is for you, Kavanaugh family. Any other action than immediately filling and confirming that seat with the president’s choice is a capitulation to the terror tactics the Democrats unleashed on the Kavanaughs. It would be an admission that what they did was legitimate and can be done again. There is no other way to see it. They will have gotten away with it if we do any less. Not only does this seat need to be filled (this week preferably) but it should be done while acknowledging that our entire motivation is payback for the disgusting attempt to destroy a man purely for political reasons.

As the late Andrew Breitbart famously said, “F*ck you. War.”

Seconded, with extreme prejudice. At last—AT LONG LAST—these evil curs must be treated in accord with their own just deserts. The Democrat-Socialist vermin of right ought to be forced to drain the bitter cup of our vengeance for their unrestrained villainy to the very dregs. Once again, Rush knows the best way to do it.

You know, I mentioned that the Judiciary Committee does not have to do its thing. It’s become a tradition, but it’s not a requirement. And since Trump has already driven them crazy, I mean, long before today, they are crazy, then why not just blow up another tradition? Because, I’ll tell you, that’s how we’re gonna maintain the ones that matter. It is the very traditions and institutions that define this country that the left has in its crosshairs. They have to be defeated. This Supreme Court seat has to be confirmed, it has to be named and confirmed before the election.

All this talk about waiting ’til after the election, Donald Trump was elected in 2016 on the very basis of the fact that he had a list of names, and people were able to judge those names and his candidacy as a result. The 2020 election has nothing to do with this Supreme Court seat, folks. It has nothing to do with it. Don’t fall for this idea that, “This is so close to the election. We need to wait. We need to wait for the election so that the right president gets to make –” No, no, no. We’ve already voted on the president that gets to make this pick, and Donald Trump is he.

The 2016 election is what this nomination is about. Not the 2020 election, both in terms of timeline, legalities, and common sense, the 2020 election has nothing to do with this Supreme Court opening. I want the Judiciary Committee — I think it’d be great if it were skipped. We don’t need to open that up for whatever length of time so that whoever this nominee is can be Kavanaughed or Borked or Thomased. Because that’s what it’s gonna be, especially when it’s not even required.

All indications are at present that there WILL be hearings, and I think that’s a damned shame. Not one more inch for the blaggards. Not. One. If their screeching and whining becomes too annoying to put up with any longer, then cut their goddamned throats and be done with them.

Once Gropey, always Gropey

Hm. I’m beginning to think there could possibly be a pattern of reprehensible behavior here.

Vote for the lifelong degenerate! Because TRUMP HATES WOMEN!!!

Schumer makes the case so I don’t have to

Schmuck.

On Tuesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Rachel Maddow Show,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) vowed that Senate Democrats “will use every tool in the toolkit” to try to delay Republicans from filling Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s Supreme Court seat.

Schumer said, “We have tactical options to slow them down. We will use every tool in the toolkit. Now, admittedly, McConnell has changed things, changed the rules, so we have fewer tools and they’re less sharp, but every tool we have we will use. Today, we delayed committees going into effect. We had the right to do that and we did it. Tonight, we’re on the floor taking up all the time on the floor to talk about how bad this potential nominee — and there will be many other things that we can use. You’ll see them in the days ahead.”

Which is exactly why this is how the thing ought to be done:

You do not have to have the Judiciary Committee conduct hearings. That’s only a tradition that evolved, and it’s something that’s taken place, but it is not required. It’s not mandated. It really isn’t, folks. The Senate does not get to pick their own nominee, which is what Chuck Schumer and the rest of the Democrats want you to think. They want you to think the president doesn’t have any idea what he’s doing, he doesn’t get a choice in the matter, only the Democrats get to choose, and they don’t. All the rest of this is nothing more than political posturing.

McConnell rule, and that was during the Merrick Garland controversy, and it said you don’t have a nomination in the final year of a presidency if the Senate is held by the opposing party. And that’s been largely true since 1880, and especially true since the court has become more political over the years. But there’s nothing that says that Trump can’t nominate a replacement. And there’s nothing that says the Senate cannot vote now.

Folks, I know the tendency is to believe the media on these things because our society is just overburdened with this false notion of fairness. There’s nothing about fairness in this. This is purely procedural. The president has the constitutional duty to name a replacement. The Senate gets to advise and consent, and that can be nothing more than a vote. They consent by voting “yes” or they don’t consent by turning down the nominee. But they don’t get three weeks to trash the guy unless they’re given it, but they’re not required.

So there’s no reason to wait. There is literally no reason to wait. There’s no requirement to wait. The 2020 election has nothing to do with this Supreme Court vacancy. The 2016 election has everything to do with it. And, by the way, it’s also not Justice Ginsburg’s seat. Her dying wish is that her seat not be filled until after the next — it’s not her seat. Like Kennedy’s seat in the Senate was not his seat. It is our seat, not hers.

Bingo, with great big bells on it. Short-circuit the whole disgusting Democrat-Socialist circus. Deny them the opportunity to viciously defame and destroy not just the poor nominee but his/her spouse, children, parents, all relatives going generations back, and the horse they all rode in on. Take every monkeywrench in Schumer’s precious little “toolkit” away from him, and blunt every “arrow” in Pee-lousy’s “quiver” too, by just flushing the hearing process entirely and moving straight to a Senate vote.

Then let the whole horde scream like howler monkeys with hemorrhoids, right up until the day Trump’s nominee is sworn in if they want to. There is absolutely no reason—Constitutional, ethical, or political—to continue playing the abhorrent Democrat-Socialist game, and every reason not to. They’ve warped the USSC confirmation process until it’s just a very unfunny joke on the entire country. The whole mess needs to be changed—lifted from the Swampy mire of dysfunction and remade into something Americans at least don’t have to be embarrassed about anymore.

So change it, then. Time to put this Demonrat dumpster fire out for good.

Punch back twice a thousand times as hard

Started to attach this as an update to that first SCOTUS post down below, but it’s just too damned good not to have a post of its very own.

You threaten to riot? You threaten to shut it all down? You show up at McConnell’s house to protest the very night RBG dies? Fine. Do that and I’ll advocate for hardball to be played right back with the ball to be hit directly into your face. You want it, you got it.

It isn’t just last night. This is the accumulation of decades of ever increasing nastiness re: Republican SCOTUS nominations. This is the threats of court packing, this is hearing vileness, this is *gestures* all of it. I didn’t want this game. But I’ll play it to win.

Since we’re going to play this stupidest possible game, then play it as hard as possible. I want the nomination Monday, the vote Tuesday, and the swearing in on Wednesday. Hearings are an insulting joke. Everyone knows how everyone will vote. Just do this thing.

BUT BUT YOUR PRINCIPLES! PRINCIPLES, I SAY! You know what my main principle is? I don’t give in to threats. I’m done with this pretending that this is about anything other than pure power plays. In the era of the Golden Scalp Weasel came the Great Unmasking.

Since the masks are off, let me take off mine. I am, underneath it all, an utterly cold blooded pragmatist. I loathe to my DNA that SCOTUS is now most powerful. But it is. That’s not changing. And thus I want that power to be on my side as much as possible.

If that means ramming a vote through as hard and fast as possible, so be it. So be it. I screamed my throat raw and typed my fingers bloody for decades telling everyone not to get to this point. I lost that argument. I lost that argument entirely. Will to power it is then.

I am, by the by, fully aware of what will happen when the roles are reversed. How can I not be? It’s been laid bare for years. I am doing my enemies, and it is clear now they are not opponents, the favor of taking them seriously. I’m just using the power they want first.

Since this is the game that will be played, play it we shall. And play it to win.

A hearty a-friggin’-MEN to every single word. I have but one caveat: Team Liberty should not consider for one moment leaving ANY tactic, weapon, or dirty trick off the table or out of bounds in this war—a principle which applies both to the SCOTUS skirmish specifically and to the wider war. For war it most certainly is; like it or not, there is no longer any shying from it. Frankly, I doubt there ever really was. There is but one way forward for us now: straight the fuck through their asses.

No, we didn’t want war; we didn’t want any of this. But it has been pressed upon us nonetheless, by a dead-serious, committed, and truly dangerous enemy that has only been emboldened by our reluctance to engage them—that being a product not of cowardice or weakness as our enemies delude themselves, but of nothing more than basic human decency and sanity.

And if there’s one lesson we all ought to have gleaned from so many decades of futile, bootless “police actions,” “liberations,” and “nation building,” then it’s a simple one, and here t’is: if it’s war we must wage, then we must fight to win. MUST. Our guiding ethic in this can only be war to the knife, knife to the hilt. No holds barred, no quarter asked or given, no stopping or easing off until our enemies are well and truly vanquished.

When the dust has settled, they must know that they’ve been kissed, as the old saying goes. Should there be the slightest question about that after all is said and done, then we didn’t do it correctly…and will only have to repeat the whole dismal process all over again, until we finally get it right. Which is something we really, REALLY don’t want.

No time to go wobbly

HOT dog! A both-barrels Michael Anton blast at some unusually fat, juicy targets.

The instant Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s passing was announced, the battle lines were drawn. Or, more accurately, one side girded for battle, while Republicans clucked with confusion about what to do next.

Which should be no surprise. If Republicans are good at anything, it’s finding “principled” reasons to betray their constituents and contradict their much vaunted philosophy. President Trump, naturally, has sounded strong, as, to his credit, has Senator Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.). But the majority leader has to manage a fractious caucus and a thin margin. Many of his members either will be looking for excuses not to vote, or for a reason to vote no, or (worse) will be persuadable by sophistical arguments as to why stabbing their president, their voters, and their country in the back is “the right thing to do.”

The two most recent, and therefore currently binding, expressions of the will of the people were the elections of 2016 and 2018. The former produced a Republican president and reaffirmed Republican control of the Senate, in place since the election of 2010. The latter reaffirmed Republican control of the Senate yet again. The will of the people, therefore, as expressed through elections—the only legitimate basis for the exercise of political power in our constitutional system—is that conservative justices be elevated to the Supreme Court.

It wasn’t Republicans who nuked the filibuster for judicial nominees. Can you recall a single instance of Republicans treating a nominee as disgracefully as the Democrats treated Robert Bork, Clarence Thomas, or Brett Kavanaugh? I can’t. Yet they constantly and sanctimoniously insist that the process is sacrosanct while scolding Republicans to obey every past procedural and conventional nicety that the Democrats have already torched.

Republicans mostly go along obediently. The Democrats nearly always vote in lockstep against any Republican judicial nominee; Republicans routinely break ranks and vote for Democratic nominees. A phrase I’ve heard to describe this faux-magnanimity is “beautiful losers,” though there’s nothing beautiful about it.

Does anyone for a second think, were the shoe on the other foot, the Democrats would hesitate to confirm their pick? To ask is to laugh.

The call to respect “norms” rings hollow after four years of the Left, the leftist media, the courts, and the administrative state all breaking norms, to the point of threatening if they don’t get their way on this vacancy, even more systemic change: D.C. and Puerto Rico statehood (four more Democratic senators, forever), abolishing the Electoral College (New York, California, Chicago, and Philadelphia electing the president, forever), and packing the Supreme Court.

The Democrats know what political power is for: to enact your side’s agenda. They and their media allies successfully gaslight Republicans into fearing that exercising political power is “partisan” and therefore illegitimate—but only when Republicans do it. Democrats themselves have no hesitation.

Nor should they. The whole point of our democratic-republican system is for voters to elect people they perceive to be on their side, who favor their own approach to common problems, and who when given the opportunity then enact that agenda. That, in essence, is democracy. That is what Republican senators are there to do. Let them do it.

“Let,” hell. Hold their feet to the fire and MAKE them do it, by God. Vacillating, nervous-Nellie GOPe squishes have just been presented with one final opportunity to make good here, before a veritable horde of people walk away from their party forever in total disgust. Their Job-like patience exhausted by an unending train of slippery-slimery DC dissembling, ducking-and-diving and shucking-and-jiving betrayals, and forked-tongue tough talk, succeeded by absolutely nothing at all, those long-suffering GOPe constituencies have been gradually stripped of all faith that any hope remains for American politics ever being reformed or redeemed.

Lied to, cheated on, courted then spurned by a rogue’s gallery of surpassingly treacherous, untrustworthy swine with less personal integrity than a deer tick, those put-upon and fed-up folks are a powder keg of righteous, boiling anger, one which all ProPols ignore at their great peril. And trust me, the fuse is lit.

So you’d best square them shoulders, stand up on them hind legs like men and not curs, nut on up, and do the right thing here at long last. Because if you don’t turn the right way at this truly critical crossroads, in these truly dangerous times—well, there are other ways to be rid of you than voting. All of them much less pleasant ones. For you.

I don’t even have to say the words at this point, do I?

Select one, seat one, move on

An endorsement, from an unexpected source, for Trump and McConnell forging ahead to fulfill their mandate in accordance with the job description spelled out for them by the original instruction manual: the US Constitution.

When a similar scenario occurred four years ago, following the death of Antonin Scalia, the Republican-controlled Senate blocked Barack Obama’s nomination of Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court. It was a controversial move, and Ginsburg had something to say about it:  Ginsburg publicly called on the Senate to go through with the nomination.

“That’s their job,” she said in July 2016. “There’s nothing in the Constitution that says the President stops being President in his last year.”

“Eight is not a good number for a collegial body that sometimes disagrees,” Ginsburg said on the issue a few months later during an event at the Smithsonian Museum of American History in Washington.

“What we do is we automatically affirm the decision of the court below. No opinion is written, no reasons are given, and the affirmance has no precedential value,” Ginsburg explained. “It’s just as though we denied review.”

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) made the same argument Friday night, though he added that since the 2020 election results are expected to be contested, an eight-member Court poses a potential constitutional crisis.

“Democrats and Joe Biden have made clear they intend to challenge this election. They intend to fight the legitimacy of the election. As you know, Hillary Clinton has told Joe Biden ‘under no circumstances should you concede, you should challenge this election.’ And we cannot have Election Day come and go with a 4-4 Court,” Cruz told Sean Hannity on Friday. “A 4-4 Court that is equally divided cannot decide anything. And I think we risk a constitutional crisis if we do not have a nine-justice Supreme Court, particularly when there is such a risk of … a contested election.”

Contrary to all the self-serving but historically illiterate Lefty shrieking, Ogabe’s underhanded attempt to ram Garland through wasn’t undone by McConnell’s hypocritical skullduggery but by, oh, the trivial matter of around a solid century and a fucking half of Senate precedent, which Democrat-Socialists will never utter a word about until it can be used again for their own nefarious purposes. As per usual, they hew to no principle; they believe in nothing, not even their own vacant, blank-eyed nihilism. They insolently sneer at scruple and consistency. They restrict themselves to grabbing whatever tool is in easy reach to be used for their dirty work, then toss it aside until the day they need it again.

Of course, correct as Cruz is, said constitutional crisis is not an unintended consequence or unlooked-for side effect that just sort of accidentally cropped up for some bizarre reason, nor is it something being “risked” by anyone. It is the whole point—a fundamental part of the plan from the very git-go. RBG shuffling ingloriously off this mortal coil is no more than the most recent gossamer-thin justification for this ongoing program, and that’s all.

Let the Left continue right on with the permacoup, screaming and ranting the whole while; they’re going to anyway, regardless of what anyone else may or may not do, and have been explictly telling us so all along. If Real Americans seriously hope to fight back successfully, then it’s time and way past time for them to begin to take violent, anti-American Leftist revolutionaries and their pet Demonrat ProPol Swamp-scum at their word, take their “fighting words” seriously, and respond to these threats with all the gravity and severity such plainly-stated intentions demand. Because laughing them off and blithely dismissing their actions as the amusing antics of a passel of desperate clowns hasn’t really worked out all that well.

Happily, it looks like Trump intends to just keep blasting right thru their feebly-defended lines to wreak havoc in their wide-open and vulnerable rear areas. Y’know, so to speak.

On Saturday evening at a rally in Fayetteville, N.C., President Donald Trump announced that he would be naming a successor to the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

“I will be putting forth a nominee next week. It will be a woman,” the president declared. This will likely unleash speculation as to which candidate Trump will choose from his list of potential nominees.

Since Trump said he will choose a woman, that narrows down the names on his list of potential nominees. Twelve of the 44 names on Trump’s list are women. Of those twelve, 7th Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Amy Coney Barrett is considered the frontrunner.

When Trump was deliberating which nominee to choose when replacing Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, the president told confidants he had big plans for Barrett. “I’m saving her for Ginsburg,” he said, three sources told Axios’ Jonathan Swan last March.

Barrett would be an excellent choice. Not only is she a stellar judge and a pro-life Roman Catholic, but Barrett performed well under fire during her confirmation hearing in 2017. Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) notoriously said, “The dogma lives loudly within you,” suggesting something of a religious test for a federal judgeship.

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s running mate and a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, has a history of attacking conservative Christians for their faith and she will likely vociferously attack Barrett in the confirmation hearings.

I can’t honestly claim to be any sort of maven on the procedural ins and outs and such, of course. But if at all possible, whoever is responsible for scheduling those hearings really should take one giant step torwards regaining a modicum of control over the things and rein in the conniving Dem-Soc monkeywrenchers with strictly-enforced limits on the time alotted for them, just for starters. Unyielding codes for dress and decorum ought also to be specified in writing, and enforced to the very last detail. Such close oversight ought not be necessary for serious, civilized adults, who are presumably capable of grasping the importance of not behaving like feral children while managing the nation’s affairs.

But alas, these are Democrat-Socialists we’re talking about here, who wouldn’t know propriety and decorum if they were run over, crippled, and left to die in a ditch by them. “Serious” and “civilized” are unknown concepts to them〈alien, unfamiliar, and not even minutely interesting. As for propriety, you might as well be speaking in Swahili for all they care. In fact, the very idea of propriety actually, actively angers them, seeing as how propriety, as well as the basic respect for others that undergirds it, aren’t for them the very keystones that uphold civilization itself, but rather archaic relics of patriarchal oppression. So can it really come as any big surprise that these juvenile delinquents, these vile ignorami, these cultural vandals, these purblind fools have wilfully warped and perverted the SC hearing process into a true national embarrassment, a grotesque obscenity insulting not only to the Founders and the institutions they so carefully crafted and bequeathed to us, but to every decent American as well?

No more. Just….NO. MORE. Enough is enough. No more Kavanaughs, no more Thomases, no more Borks—not now, not EVER. The grownups in the Congressional room must—MUST—bring any and all further Democrat-Socialist confirmation affrontery to an immediate halt, for real and for good, then get to work straightaway at restoring whatever dignity they may to the institutions that have been so recklessly and infuriatingly debased. Senate GOPers bear a duty most grave to firmly shut down the malignant polyps of America’s Enemies, Domestic Inc™ who have reduced the whole thing to such an anarchic, farcical freakshow. They must get on with it, starting yesterday.
