“Your Last Wake-Up Call, America”

Francis weighs in on Kenosha, American Hero Kyle Rittenhouse, and the general state of affairs using an all-too-lawerly Tweet lamenting “the weaponization of the prosecutorial process” as a dire threat to “the rule of law”—which, it ain’t that the guy is wrong about that, necessarily; it’s just that he’s way, WAY late to the party—as his jumping-off point.

“Threatens” the rule of law? THREATENS?

The rule of law died when prosecutors, mayors, and governors started siding with the rioters and against peaceable citizens going about their lawful business.

If you don’t get it even now – if you think, for whatever reason, that it could never encroach upon you and yours – you’re living in a dream.

The hell with the useless facial diapers, Gentle Reader. They’re about as relevant to your “protection” as a screen door in a submarine.

Meaningless aside: “useless as teats on a boar-hog” was the way my Grandma always put it—more colorful, certainly, and I always liked it. But Fran’s pharse works just as well. Onwards.

Go armed at all times. And – need I say it? – be ready to use your weapons, whatever they may be.

There is no law any longer in Kenosha, Seattle, Portland, and several other places; there is only power. Unless it’s opposed – not merely in word, but in forethought, preparation, and deed – from this moment forward, it will reach every smallest corner of these United States. If we want the law back, We the People must assert it and stand ready to defend it. In all candor, that responsibility has never belonged to anyone else.

Posilutely, absotively correct. Well, except that, at this late stage of the game, it isn’t so much the law we must defend—it’s our lives, our loved ones, our homes, our neighborhoods, our businesses, and our personal property. Once more: none of this has happened accidentally, or by coincidence. It all comes down to one simple thing, and it ain’t pretty. To wit:

Anyone could have seen this coming. The question that should be asked after an armed man shot two rioters on the streets of Kenosha is, what did you expect? Here’s the scenario: mobs of criminals are torching and looting the private businesses of Americans all over the country and local law enforcement won’t stop them. Not only will they not stop them but anyone who is arrested is released immediately to do it all over again the next night (see Portland). Did you expect that this could go on without more violence? How did you think it would end? Where was this going—social change to utopia? Cities are burning. New York City is now a place no retailer will go. How much more of this did you think people would take?

Here’s the bad news. Kyle Rittenhouse, whom we know nothing about, is only the beginning of what is to come. It’s going to get much worse, and people like me who are anti-war and want nothing but peace with my countrymen are about to become severely disappointed.

Any speculation on Rittenhouse’s motives is total stupidity in the fog of war when facts are indecipherable from lies. Don’t attempt it. Let us just look at the general climate in which this tragedy occurred. And I use the word “tragedy” somewhat reluctantly because all involved in this, especially the government officials who let it happen, deserve exactly what they got.

If you go out to protest in an environment where you know there is looting and mayhem, I don’t care what happens to you. Not even a little. Photographic evidence appears to point to self-defense. It’s too soon to tell but it appears from these photographs that at least one of the people who was shot was holding a gun.

A video shows the alleged shooter saying he was there to protect private property. There is no evidence that any press outlet can find to prove that he is a “white supremacist,” as is being alleged all over social media. He could just be a person concerned about escalating violence and no law enforcement stopping it who got fed up waiting for the adults in the room to do their jobs. He was arrested on suspicion of first-degree intentional homicide.

Maybe he will be acquitted in court. Who knows? That’s not important. What is important is that this is only the beginning of a scary and dark time in American history and I’m not the only one who sees it. Mobs are accosting diners and demanding they display the Communist fist. Do you think this is going to end the way the mobs want it to? How many of you would rather be dead than Red? Make a choice now because this is where we are in the timeline of human events. Your time to make a choice is running out. The mob is perfectly willing to do it for you.

This is one hell of a post by Megan Fox, powerful and unflinching, all of which you must read. As to the patently spurious charges against the heroic Rittenhouse, I’m with Ace:

Recidivist Criminal Who Chased Kyle Rittenhouse While Carrying (Illegally) A Pistol: My Only Regret Is Not Having Drawn My (Illegal) Gun Sooner So I Could Have Emptied the Mag Into Him
—Ace

The criminal armed with a gun announces that his intention was in fact to kill Kyle Rittenhouse.

Therefore: Kyle Rittenhouse’s shooting of him was justifiable self-defense, and it’s beyond any disputation.

Are we really going through with this farce of a political show trial?

Do citizens have to surround the courthouse and start lighting it up until they release him?

Is that the only thing our cowardly, terrorist-supporting Democrat politicians understand, now? The force and menace of a “mostly peaceful” mob?

Actually, I don’t think they really do understand at all. These fools have chosen to overinvest in blind faith that they and their semi-sub rosa minions—a pet army of halfwit primordial goons, pampered suburban brats, and sundry Commie useful idiots—possess an unchallengeable monopoly on force and menace. It is now imperative that they be taught otherwise, forcefully and without delay.

Surrounding the courthouse and lighting it up ought to be the very least of their concerns before Real Americans are done with them. They need to be made to fear for their own lives for a change, and to never forget the taste of it. Anything less, and…we lose.

The shot heard round the world

And now, it begins.

Amid violent Black Lives Matter riots and arson in Kenosha, Wisc., on Tuesday night, 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse opened fire at looters in two separate instances, killing two people and injuring a third. Police arrested Rittenhouse on Wednesday after cops apparently congratulated him on Tuesday night. Early reports suggest Rittenhouse shot one man in the head while the victim was looting a car shop, but his second shooting appeared to involve self-defense after looters threw a Molotov cocktail at him.

And tackling, beating, and kicking him brutally, too.

Rittenhouse came from Antioch, Ill., which is only 15 miles away from Kenosha, the Associated Press reported. Authorities arrested him on suspicion of first-degree intentional homicide.

He oughta get some kind of medal, if you ask me.

Shaffer later explained that in the minutes before the shooting, rioters used drones and bats to destroy vehicles, and lit multiple cars on fire. Ironically, one of the rioters operated the shop and he tried to stop his Black Lives Matter allies from destroying his property.

Shaffer also noted that “the alleged shooter was defending the property.”

This context does not excuse what appears to have been a vigilante assassination.

Like hell it doesn’t. With the rioters enjoying the full endorsement and support of Democrat-Socialist officialdom nationwide, and the police kept on a tight leash by those same criminal authorities, ordinary citizens have stepped up to do what they must.

However, the second shooting appears to have involved self-defense. Townhall’s Julio Rosas reported seeing a Black Lives Matter mob chasing Rittenhouse. After Rittenhouse tripped and fell, the rioters shouted, “Get his *ss!” Then the man appears to have shot one of the rioters in self-defense.

The violent riots and arson in Kenosha are terrifying, and it makes sense that citizens would arm themselves to curb the destruction. That does not justify Rittenhouse’s first shooting, however. Police arguably should have arrested the man right after the shootings.

Instead, they reportedly allowed him to go home. That does not suggest inherent racism, as some on the Left have claimed. The cops may have a bias in favor of a vigilante trying to stop the rioting over the rioters themselves. Even so, they should have arrested Rittenhouse after the shootings.

O’Neill blandly says that as if these were ordinary times. But they are no such thing. We are at war, with a violent Left-wing revolutionary enemy actively seeking to overthrow and destroy this nation. We sat idly back as they assaulted, beat, stabbed, shot, and ran over numerous innocent people with impunity, going at least as far back as the shooting of Steve Scalise and others by a deranged Bernie Sanders employee.

Quite simply, the ordinary rules and standards no longer apply.

And honestly, much as I do hate to see it come to this, in my estimation young Rittenhouse is skating mighty close to being a real American hero. He courageously put himself in harm’s way to protect others; he didn’t flinch or hesitate when it came time to living up to his commitment. He buckled down and did what he had to do. And a couple of shitbag Marxist goblins ended up getting themselves killed.

Well, so fucking what? THEY called this tune, in spite of constant serious and sober warnings about where it would lead. So far we’ve resisted the invitation, but now the ball has started in earnest, and we’re all going to have to get off our chairs and onto the dance floor.

As I keep saying, nobody on our side wanted this. But we’re stuck with it anyway, like it or not, and frankly I’m glad to see one of ours shooting back at long, long last. All in all, I’m with Ace:

I think legally he’s guilty, but I don’t think the law is in effect any longer. The government is refusing to enforce it against insurrectionists, effectively making them State Sanctioned Terrorists, and citizens are forced to defend themselves and their own property.

I’ve been saying it for years: If the government will not protect the citizenry, then the citizenry will turn to vigilantism.

And citizens do not have the long hours of training that cops do.

You have to give them some leeway. If the state is effectively making terrorism and arson legal, then I say, shooting rioters without normal legal justification is now legal too.

He has been arrested. I say: Jury nullification. We’ll start giving the state convictions they moment they start enforcing the laws, and not a moment before.

Play Thunderdome games, win Thunderdome prizes.

Update: JEM sends me to Shipwreckedcrew at Red State, who has video before the first shot — antifa/BLM droogs were chasing this guy down. He turned and fired on them.

Self defense. Fuck you, assholes. Play human-hunting games, win Most Dangerous Game prizes.

See the video here, from 3:59:00 to 3:59:45. You can clearly see a group of bipedal wolves chasing this guy down.

Then he decides his life is in danger, turns, and kills an animal.

Precisely so. One of O’Neill’s commenters spells it out nicely:

There is a fundamental human right to protect one’s self, one’s family, and one’s property.
In a free democratic society the people make a pact with the government they create; that individuals will restrain their own right to self-defense where feasible, in return for the government promising to seek justice on their behalf.

When the government turns a blind eye to a citizen’s peril, that citizen can justly retake their original human right to defend themselves. This is the entire argument behind Blacks having an inherent right to protect themselves from violent racists if the government refuses to do so on their behalf…

Annnnd bingo. Governments all across the country have reneged on that societal contract; they reject the Constitution’s call to “ensure domestic tranquility,” refusing to duly enforce the law for purely political reasons. They have informed ordinary citizens, in no uncertain terms, that they are well and truly on their own.

Real Americans’ patience, while very deep and strong, is not without limit. It has been stretched far beyond any reasonable bounds by both the rioters and the government officials who brazenly cheer them on. Those officials had better recognize that they can be brought to heel relatively easily, their transgressions and abuses harshly punished. They are by no means beyond the reach of an angry and aroused citizenry bent on righteous vengeance. Justice a la Rittenhouse can also be visited upon them, and the more they go on as they have been, the sooner they might just wind up facing the music themselves.

Update! Bill has a couple of photos which clearly indicate self-defense.

Kicking ass, taking names

Say what you will, I remain a big fan of the Proud Boys.

It was another “don’t start nuthin’, won’t be nuthin’” clash in Portland on Saturday. Antifa and Black Lives Matter protesters crashed a pro-police Back the Blue rally downtown. True to form, antifa and BLM went from counter-“protesting” to violently attacking people.

We’ve seen it before.

The Back the Blue rally included members of Proud Boys, a multi-racial (yes) group of America-loving and antifa-hating tough guys and gals, who will fight back if the Leftist mob starts something. They come prepared to do battle.

And guess what? That’s exactly what happened. If antifa doesn’t start the violence then no violence happens.

Proud Boys are defined by the mainstream media and the Left (but I repeat myself) as “white supremacists,” but they appear to be a much more ethnically diverse group than antifa is. The local leader is Hispanic.

As they often do, the Portland Police watched while the melee ensued.

Sorry, but I have no use for the “don’t start none, won’t be none” bushwa. It’s weak, it’s whiny (Mommy, AnitFa hit us fiiirrrst!!), and it’s a sure-fire formula for defeat. If the Proud Boys and any other assemblage of patriotic Real Americans were to begin hunting PantiFa twerps down in the streets like wild game—shooting them, skinning the carcasses, nailing the pelts to the side of the barn to cure in the sun—that’d be just jakesy-jooksey with me.

It’s waaaay past time for our side to stop with the weeping and wailing over how critically vitally critical it is that our side doesn’t “fire the first shot.” The first shot was fired a long fucking time ago. Instead of worrying about “the optics” or whatever mean things shitlib media might say about us, it’s about time we started shooting back…before this war is over, and lost. This next bit speaks volumes about just how close to that unwelcome eventuality we already are, and not just in Portland either:

“Hate speech” and violence are, of course, welcome and tacitly encouraged by Portland authorities…as long as it’s the right people perpetrating them. Hundreds of PantiFa/BurnLootMurder criminals have been released after arrest, with no charges filed by the turn-em-loose-Bruce liberal DA.

Newly installed Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt has already announced that he will not prosecute most charges against antifa – even for rioting.

Videographer Mike Strickland can attest to the two-tiered justice system in Portland. In 2016, antifa protesters chased him out of a Black Lives Matter rally and roughed him up. When they noticed he was still covering the event, a large group came back to inflict more punishment. Strickland pulled his legally-possessed gun and held back the crowd. No shots were fired and Strickland was the only one hurt that day.

He went to jail. His case is on appeal.

Why, of course he did. In Amerika v2.0, the State requires that all dissidents, nonconformists, and Badthinkers take their beatings obediently, without a word of complaint.

Well, fuck all that noise, sayeth I. If the Proud Boys are willing to risk jail time; a chorus of the usual slanders, sneers, and false accusations against them, of everything from “racism” to simple chronic halitosis, from the usual hypocritical liars; and even sniffy disdain from those on the notional Right who ought to be cheering them on, but are just too damned dainty to ever contemplate some righteous beatdowns being dealt out to those most deserving of them—well, I for one am glad to see that there’s at least somebody out there willing to confront certain ugly realities head-on, enduring slings and arrows from every direction to just do the necessary and crack some fucking empty-ass Commie skulls wide the fuck open.

So yeah, you go get ’em, Proud Boys. Y’all make me wish I was about twenty years younger, you really do.

Update! You gotta love it.

In one of the more hilarious videos to come out of the chaos, a Black Lives Matter militant can be heard whining about how the police are “just standing there” as the extremist leftists got their butts handed to them by the patriots.

“When the cops are gone, you’re gonna deal with us,” one of the patriots was filmed warning the anti-cop leftists.

I repeat: go get ’em, Proud Boys. Elsewhere, we also have this:

Riots and protests erupted Monday night in Kenosha following an officer-involved shooting Sunday and the ‘protests’ began to spread to other cities.

Black Lives Matter militants roved into the wrong Milwaukee neighborhood Monday night.

A Milwaukee homeowner wasn’t having it and fired warning shots at protesters in his neighborhood.

“This dude is shooting at us!” A Black Lives Matter militant is heard saying as they scattered like cockroaches and ran for their lives.

I repeat: you gotta love it.

STRONG message follows

Scott Adams waxes uncharacteristically, ummm, vitriolic, shall we say.

Scott Adams: Brain-Dead Race Hoaxer Joe Biden Is The Biggest Asshole In America

There, see what I mean? Not that he’s wrong about any of that, mind.

Scott Adams, the creator of ‘Dilbert’ and a student of persuasion, explains why he thinks that Joe Biden citing the 2017 “fine people” in Charlottesville “race hoax” during his DNC acceptance speech disqualifies him from being the president, on his Friday morning “Coffee With Scott Adams” podcast.

Adams said “the fact that he based his campaign on being the guy of good character and the one who cares, while at the same time and in the same speech perpetuated the most divisive race hoax in American history — the fine people hoax,” is disqualifying for Biden.

“He’s basing his campaign on a debunked hoax,” he said. “What do people who believe the hoax say? ‘Oh, you right-wing crazy people are trying to tell us we didn’t hear it with our own ears. I saw it and I heard it and I can prove it. Here’s the video of what I saw and what I heard.’ And then, they’ll show the edited video — which is the hoax.”

“The f***ing ‘fine people’ hoax is the tentpole hoax that makes stupid people who believe the fake news believe that it is all true. It is the only one they think they saw with their own eyes because it got edited. And because they’re sure that one’s true, it makes all the other hoaxes seem true, and it makes everyone who supports Trump look like assholes,” he said a few minutes later. “Joe Biden, if you’re making your fellow citizens targets for violence and discrimination, and you’re doing it intentionally, you are not worthy of being a citizen of this country, much less a leader. You have not qualified at the basic level of understanding the Constitution.”

As incredible as it may seem, the usually soft-spoken, mild-mannered Adams is just getting warmed up, going on to blast away at Senile Uncle Gropey even more ferociously from there. Rightly so, too.

Yes, yes, yes, YES!!!

THIS. This, x amillionbillionzillionkajillion.

Fuck you

Hats off to Sundance

In our Donnybrook section, CF commenter Barry has called our attention more than once to Sundance’s somewhat-cryptic posts regarding the compilation of all his diligent labor to uncover evidence of the Obama/Comey/Brennan et al coup attempt against Trump into a sort of dossier that connected all the dots; his trip to DC to present said evidence to the DoJ, Congresscritters, and whoever else he could reach, in hopes of bestirring some, any, or all of them to take some sort of concrete action to see justice done; and most significantly, Sundance’s delivery of a firm deadline for said action, namely this Friday past, failing which he would go public with his voluminous dossier his own self.

So last week, after Sundance had made his appointed rounds in Mordor on the Potomac to present the case, it seems that somone in the AG’s office suddenly reached out to someone at Fox to request a call-in appearance for Barr on Hannity; the AG wished to make an announcement concerning “developments,” t’was said.

And he did. Not a momentous, earth-shattering thing, Barr cautioned everyone. But movement, a “development,” nonetheless, with more of them to come at an unspecified later date.

Then, on Friday, this happened:

WASHINGTON – A Former FBI attorney will plead guilty to making false statements in documents used to obtain a surveillance warrant against former Trump aide Carter Page, his lawyer told the Associated Press Friday.

The guilty plea from Kevin Clinesmith is the first legal action taken in an investigation led by John Durham, a U.S. attorney looking into the origins of the Trump-Russia probe and other intelligence-gathering activities related to the Trump campaign.

Clinesmith’s lawyer, Justin Shur, told the Associated Press that his client will plead guilty to a single false statements charge as part of a cooperation agreement with the government.

At 5 PM Friday, Sundance posted the above excerpt and link with this appended:

I am very well aware of events today.

Discretion is the better part of valor.

Tuesday.

WELL.

It appears to me that Sundance’s prodding has borne fruit, with more expected on Tuesday. A CTH commenter sums it up:

Anyone remember when some idiot someplace on the internet criticized SD as ‘some former clerk living in (redacted!)’? Well, that ‘former clerk’ spent nearly four years doing brilliant, extraordinarily deep research that produced iron clad, irrefutable, proof that every character we know not only participated in the coup, but SD proved and showed exactly what each character did.

First he showed all of us. And then, two weeks ago this guy, whom some loser on the internet once criticized as a ‘former clerk’, set out to present his irrefutable, iron clad proof of who the conspirators are and what each did, to people who might be able to use it to bring about justice. Think about that.

The guy (or gal, or people known as) Sundance decided to bring the evidence into the lions den. On his own dime and time. At his own personal risk.

He succeeded beyond all we could hope or dream for. He not only entered the lion’s den, he quelled all the guardians of the den and hand fed all the other lions his information. His proof was so iron clad, so persuasive, so irrefutable, that he got the attention and concern of the Attorney General of the United States so much so, that after years of obfuscation, double speak, and letting the conspirators get away with their crimes, the AG was forced to ask a TV news show to come on air, so he could make an ‘announcement’ to all of America.

Think how concerned, frightened perhaps, Bill Barr had to be to beg Hannity to come on air so he could make a “not so earth shattering” announcement.

And Sundance did all that without dropping Fat Man or Little Boy, which we know he’s keeping in reserve, just in case.

We stand and humbly thank and salute you, Sundance.

Indeed we do. I’ll go a bit further, actually: it’s my opinion that what Sundance has done here is nothing short of noble. He should be acknowledged far and wide as a truly great American, of a stripe we breed all too few of nowadays.

Think of it: he has provided us all with a sterling demonstration of a “petition for redress of grievances” the Founders recommended in the Constitution. He has shamed every self-proclaimed “professional journalist” in the entire country, the overwhelming majority of whom are no more than DNC PR flacks and stenographers. Over the course of four long years, he dug deep, unearthing scads of documents via FOIA requests that would otherwise have remained hidden, documents revealing the details of the Obama junta’s election-tampering and later coup attempt. He posted his findings as he obtained them at CTH, along with meticulously in-depth analysis explaining how all the countless pieces fit together, who the players were, and what it all added up to.

Then he set us another fine example, in a real-life Mr Smith Goes To Washington moment of a sort which American patriot James Stewart would have heartily approved: he went to Washington himself, to bring the treasonous malfeasance of too-powerful people and agencies into the light of day; to ensure that many gross wrongs committed against a duly-elected and blameless President were righted; to see that the voice of those millions of Trump voters very nearly disenfrachised by the rankest skullduggery and corruption would be heard, and heeded.
these efforts. I’d say that risk is now very serious indeed; I hope he’ll be very cagey and aware from here on out, keeping a constant, watchful eye on his own bodily security. Corrupt, omnipotent governments have quietly eliminated whistleblowers for far less than what he’s accomplished.

Many folks out there rightly say that Real Americans will never get a fair shake from Leftymedia, and so must buckle down and do the job themselves, building their own alternative outlets and institutions instead. Well, don’t look now, but Sundance just did exactly that. He duly petitioned the government for redress of grievances, demanded accountability from those who are supposed to be not our masters but our employees—an important distinction now almost entirely lost to the mists of distant history—and to all appearances, he got results.

The risk to himself personally was and will remain substantial; his courage, tenacity, and audacity are indisputable, and entirely admirable. I repeat: Sundance is a truly great American, and whichever way this ugly mess shakes out, my hat is most humbly off to him.

Tuesday update! News from Sundance.

After several -seemingly- purposeful delays, and some expressions of good faith which I am not sure are actually ‘good’ or ‘faithful’, we come to this moment approximately an hour from now. The media, who I have briefed on the material, have been released from any/all prior confidences. Additionally, I have released the name of the primary investigator (deep behind the Durham probe) to the same media. If those media voices do nothing, I will share who they are… until then, I grant them benefit of courage and patriotism.

It’s time to start asking some very hard questions…. but in order to do that, these voices first needed to know the material so those questions could be asked; hence, the exhaustive travel for in-depth briefings in multiple cities and states.

Nothing is supposition; everything is connected to deep and direct evidence of corruption that covers a variety of interests and numerous institutions.  The most adverse to sunlight are members of Mueller’s purposefully installed special counsel unit. After the Obama administration left office, Andrew Weissmann and crew took over. They did things that only Machiavellian thinkers could imagine. It will all come out; the question is when?

After another attempt to delay, I took a purposeful stance. Everyone reversed course and we are back on track.

Expect no help from the Senate; they were participants. Today’s released obfuscation and nonsense from the SSCI is evidence in that regard. The entire upper chamber is compromised; they know it, I know it, and a large part of the American electorate know it.

I dislike immensely not being able to just be the guy with a blog who outlines research material, provides the direct source information, and explains to people what is going on. Recent weeks/months have been challenging because when your goal is to extend benefit-of-doubt, you do not want to impede any truthful efforts. However, I have exhausted my ‘benefit-of-doubt‘ stash; I need to return to my original position: ‘THE TRUTH HAS NO AGENDA’.

So begins the worst/best phase of the Big Ugly.

Keep checking six, my friend. Constantly. More here, and here too.

Another historic achievement

Know how some Dissident Right folks have begun whining lately that Trump has accomplished nothing whatever during his first term, even going so far as to join chinless Quislings like Bill French and David Kristol in endorsing Biden?

Yeah. About all that.

While it is not unusual in political circles to describe something as a historic breakthrough, it is unusual when the term is justified. Yet that is the right way to describe the three-way agreement announced Thursday by the Trump White House, Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

Based on its immediate impact alone, you can even call this one an earthquake. In an instant, regional fault lines are redrawn and the door is thrown open for Israel to normalize its relations with other Arab states.

The agreement also dramatically turns up the heat on the Palestinians to make a deal, lest they find themselves further isolated in their standoff with Israel.

“It means they either have to finally come to the negotiating table, or keep going where they’ve been going,” Jared Kushner, the top American official involved in crafting the terms, told me.

Indeed, there is a sweetener in the deal aimed at the Palestinians. Israel’s agreement to suspend its plan to assert sovereignty over much of the West Bank is a huge concession that buys time for the Palestinians, but not endlessly. Kushner defined the suspension as covering the “foreseeable future.”

He said UAE leaders were concerned that the Israeli move would be a “big setback in relationships” and thus pushed for the suspension.

Meanwhile, establishing formal diplomatic relations and starting direct airline flights means Muslims from the UAE will be able to fly to Israel and visit the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. That opening shreds the claim from Islamists that Israel prevents them from worshiping at the mosques, among Islam’s holiest sites.

The enormous trade-offs vindicate President Trump’s policy of strengthening America’s alliance with Israel and countering Muslim extremists. The usual critics, including Democrats, most European governments and United Nations bureaucrats, predicted that Trump’s decision to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and recognize Israel’s annexation of the Golan Heights would lead to greater Arab unity and possibly war.

In effect, the critics were endorsing the very policy the Obama-Biden administration pursued, which yielded only negative results. The former team gave Israel, Saudi Arabia and other traditional allies the back of the hand while wooing the Palestinians and Iran. In exchange, it got nothing except Palestinian intransigence and an emboldened and aggressive Iran.

By going in the opposite direction, Trump, Kushner and Ambassador David Friedman are using strengthened American-Israeli ties as a rallying point for Arab states who fear Iran more than Israel.

As they damned well should. Like Real Americans here at home, all Israel really wants from her neighboring Arab antagonists is just to be left alone; granted that, the Israelis are perfectly willing to return the favor. Personally, all I need to know about the agreement is: 1) whey-faced rectal polyp Rashida Tlaib, miscellaneous Ogabe junta Iran-baglappers, and the PLO swine are all unhappy about it, and B) Senile Uncle Gropey immediately committed another act of plagiarism, sort of, to glom credit for himself. With all those bitter malefactors left scrambling and flailing witlessly about, how could it NOT be a very good thing?

Hell, as Glenn says, this one is so damned big even the NYT’s pinko ChiCom pom-pom girl Tom Friedman can’t find a way to downplay it.

For once, I am going to agree with President Trump in his use of his favorite adjective: “huge.”

The agreement brokered by the Trump administration for the United Arab Emirates to establish full normalization of relations with Israel, in return for the Jewish state forgoing, for now, any annexation of the West Bank, was exactly what Trump said it was in his tweet: a “HUGE breakthrough.”…

Just go down the scorecard, and you see how this deal affects every major party in the region — with those in the pro-American, pro-moderate Islam, pro-ending-the-conflict-with-Israel-once-and-for-all camp benefiting the most and those in the radical pro-Iran, anti-American, pro-Islamist permanent-struggle-with-Israel camp all becoming more isolated and left behind.

It’s a geopolitical earthquake.

To fully appreciate why, you need to start with the internal dynamics of the deal. It was Trump’s peace plan drawn up by Jared Kushner, and their willingness to stick with it, that actually created the raw material for this breakthrough.

As far as I know, unlike the previous deals with Egypt and Jordan, this agreement is the first wherein an Arab state expicitly acknowledges Israel’s right to exist without sidestepping that crucial issue. That alone qualifies as historic. I know I registered a complaint about Kushner’s influence in the Trump admin not long ago; knowing what his ideological leanings are, I remain highly skeptical of the guy. But he appears to have done some truly fine and important work on this one, and I doff my cap to him.

Update! Not quite as momentous, admittedly, but still not “nothing” either.

Seth Borenstein, an environmental whack job at the Associated Press, filed a story, “Let it flow: Trump administration eases shower-head rules.”

In it, Borenstein took cheap shots at President Donald John Trump for daring to reverse Obama’s draconian and arbitrary rules on how much water can come out of a shower head.

According to the story, Congress gave the federal government the power to dictate the water flow. This was done to conserve water, which makes no sense because there is plenty of fresh water in the Great Lakes and most if the rest of the nation.

Of course, millions of people chose to live in the deserts of Arizona and Nevada. They have a problem with water supplies. That gave the government the excuse to regulate showers.

In his story, Borenstein wrote, “Publicly talking about the need to keep his hair ‘perfect,’ President Donald Trump has made increasing water flow and dialing back long held appliance conservation standards — from light bulbs to toilets to dishwashers — a personal issue.

Loosening the grip of meddlesome, intrusive tyranny, one tentacle at a time. If the shitlibs, environazis, Jurassic-media “journalists,” and Deep Staters are howling, then it’s a win. And hey, I’ll take it.

Yes, by all means, heed the title’s directive and WATCH. I promise you’ll feel a warm frisson of pure pleasure. Although I do have one small nit to pick, which I’ll get to anon.

The backstory:

MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. – A bloody brawl broke out in Manhattan Beach after a couple confronted two men for not wearing masks, causing an argument that turned violent when the woman threw coffee into the face of one of the men.

The brawl was all caught on video, recorded by James Hernandez’s bodycam, which he says he has to wear as a Trump supporter.

“Because I wear a trump hat I’ve had a lot of confrontations, I guess,” he said.

His camera was rolling on Friday when he says he and his friend, Matthew Roy, were eating burritos outside without masks on, and a couple criticized them.

“Y’all need to be wearing masks,” the woman can be heard saying.

“No we don’t,” Hernandez replies. “We’re locals here but were on the other side of the fence, we don’t believe in this stuff.”

“I hadn’t even gotten to start eating the burrito yet before someone wanted to give me a mask lecture,” Roy said.

Roy says the woman then stuck her middle finger in his face, and tensions escalated further until she threw her coffee in his face.
Roy immediately gets up, and begins punching the woman’s boyfriend in response.

“She decided to slam her coffee into my head and that’s when I decided to get up and beat up her boyfriend,” Roy said.

Which he did, slinging Karen’s stupid-cunt ass around a little as well, just for good measure. Which is where my quibble comes in. The problem: He stopped with the righteous ass-whuppin’ way, WAY too soon.

I am deadly, deadly serious about this right here: There should be many, many repeats of this action, all over the country. BUT…these beatings should NEVER end prematurely. They should, they must continue until the sniveling COVIDIOTS are bleeding profusely on the ground, a bedraggled mess of torn flesh, broken bones, and loosened teeth, completely incapable of struggling to their feet and staggering away under their own power. Otherwise, the salutary purpose of ramming a most useful lesson right down the throats of these meddlesome, self-righteous busybodies will fail to really stick.

And we can’t be having that, now can we? Ah well, enjoy the vid anyway; as they say, the journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step. And while we’re embedding videos here, I dunno, but somehow the star-belly sneeches getting their just comeuppance above reminded me all to hell and gone of the lyrics to this old classic.

It’s time for Kens and Karens everywhere to taste what they most fear, all right. Their recent string of unanswered victories has gotten thoroughly up their noses, as Wodehouse used to say; they’re emboldened now, and won’t ever stop until they get themselves a good bellyful of said fear.

THAT’s how you do it

Shut ’em the fuck DOWN. Whatever it takes.

Armed residents offer no-nonsense response to ‘peaceful’ invaders marching to Seattle police chief’s home
The home of Seattle police Chief Carmen Best was targeted by “peaceful” protesters who were deterred by armed neighbors protecting their property.

Residents in Best’s Snohomish County neighborhood confronted the leftists as they attempted to make their way to her home, making a clear case for the importance of the 2nd Amendment and the protections it offers.

A road into the neighborhood was blocked by residents who also apparently posted on social media about the group of about “200 persons, mostly white men and women in their twenties” who were “dressed in black with masks and black hoods and carried signs that read “Black Lives Matter,”  according to the Lynnwood Times.

“Black Lives Matter protestors shouted profanity and insults at neighbors, took license plate information on vehicles, took pictures of homes, and asked little kids who lived in the neighborhood what schools they attended,” the outlet reported, adding that some of the protesters carried “large duffle bags” and attempted to get to Best’s home in the neighborhood.

One video showed the rude awakening some of the group received by locals who clearly were not going to put up with their antics.

“This is a private drive, get out of the road,” a man can be heard telling the approaching protesters.

“We are peaceful! You pointed a gun at my face!” one protester yelled back to the armed residents.

“That’s why you are peaceful,” the resident quipped.

Bold mine, and delectable. Ace says:

Antifa and BLM “protesters” have two modes: Savage, feral violence when they think they can get away with it and puerile whining when they think they can’t get away with violence.

As they were confronted here by people with guns, violence was off the table, and they resorted to whiiiiining.

I keep saying this: If police won’t do their jobs, citizens will do it instead.

But citizens are not trained law enforcement officers.

Expect high casualties.

Expect it? Hell, at this point I’m actually hoping for it. Because this nonsense won’t stop until at least a few of these Leftard terrorists are fucking massacred. At least one of the valiant Snohomish Minutemen knows the score:

“They were very organized. They had radios, talking to each other. They had numbers they used to decal all their cars for who knows what. So, they were identifying all their vehicles individually by number,” one neighbor told the outlet. “They came with a mission…They were out here intimidating us.”

“I feel incredibly unsafe,” another said. “We think it will happen again…Their objective was not completed; they never made it to her house, we stopped them…so we think they will be back.”

Count on it. Best be ready for them. ALL of us better be, like it or not.

How Big Government ruins everything

By just being what it is, doing what it does: metastasizing and expanding; strangling creativity and innovation; introducing unneccessary and exorbitant costs through bureaucracy, overregulation, and outright corruption.

Government is needed for some things, a necessary evil for certain strictly-defined functions. But it never stops grabbing for more, and therefore must be constantly monitored and reined in. Like any other noxious weed, if it is allowed to flourish unrestrained the garden will eventually become overrun, and will soon perish.

Meanwhile, the private sector leads the way.

This week, American astronauts returned to earth. Their trip to the space station was the first manned launch from the U.S. in 10 years.

By NASA? No. Of course, not.

This space flight happened because the government was not in charge.

An Obama administration committee had concluded that launching such a vehicle would take 12 years and cost $36 billion.

But this rocket was finished in half that time — for less than $1 billion (1/36th the predicted cost).

Meanwhile, NASA has become just another hapless, bloated bureaucracy, pathetically incapable of performing its own core mission, slowly fading into a sad irrelevance. Stossel’s closer:

The private sector always comes up with ways to do things that politicians cannot imagine.

The government didn’t invent affordable cars, airplanes, iPhones, etc. It took competing entrepreneurs, pursuing profit, to nurture them into the good things we have now.

Get rid of government monopolies.

For-profit competition brings us the best things in life.

Amazing how, in a nation supposedly founded on those very ideals, we keep having to relearn that basic truth over and over again, innit?

Common sense is breaking out all over!

All over Eastern Europe, at any rate.

Poland has announced it will withdraw from the Istanbul Convention, a treaty which requires that governments actively promote gender theory through the media and education system.

Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro told a news conference that his ministry would begin withdrawing from the treaty, titled — arguably misleadingly — the Istanbul Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence.

“Arguably”?

While far-left protesters claimed the move was aimed at legitimising physical violence against women, Ziobro said problems with the treaty eroded parents’ rights by necessitating far-left social policies be promoted to children. He explained that the convention “contains elements of an ideological nature, which we consider harmful”, Reuters reported him saying.

Deputy Justice Minister Michał Wójcik stated that the provisions of the convention centre on an ideology which is harmful “to the family, to marriage”, adding that marriage is between “a woman and a man, not some third, fourth or fifth sex”.

The ministers have drawn attention to aspects of the treaty which claim that domestic violence is a result of gender stereotyping. “…violence against women does not only result from alcoholism or certain pathologies … but also results from problems related to the stereotypical perception of gender,” remarked Dr Dorota Pudzianowska from the George Soros-sponsored Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights.

University of Swansea law professor, Andrew Tettenborn, has commented that the Istanbul Convention does nothing to protect females from domestic violence. Instead, it demands that all of society be dismantled and rebuilt around the idea that gender stereotypes are the cause of physical attacks on women.

Poland has joined Hungary in dumping the treaty in favor of common sense and plain old reality, and good on ’em both. This next tells the story:

According to Article 12 of the treaty, governments who sign up to the document must “take the necessary measures to promote changes in the social and cultural patterns of behaviour of women and men with a view to eradicating prejudices, customs, traditions and all other practices which are based on the idea of the inferiority of women or on stereotyped roles for women and men”.

Asking whether ordinary citizens in countries like Britain, where the government has signed the Istanbul Convention, “realise that their leaders have signed them up to support a mini-Cultural Revolution”, Tettenborn notes that there is “more than a whiff of totalitarianism” about the treaty’s requirements.

All in all, exactly as Prof Tettenborn said above: just another thinly-veiled assault on traditional Western values, the institution of marriage, and cultural stability by the Destroyer Left. Repeat after me, everybody: They will not stop. They will NEVER stop. They will have to BE stopped. That is all.

The laws will be enforced—one way or another

Vigilante justice is the last desperate resort of a civilization backed into a corner by rampant, implacable liberal degeneracy.

William Smith, 28, was discovered in the early hours of Tuesday morning, decapitated and slumped against the front door of the judge who had granted him bail in August.

Smith was arrested last month following allegations by his then girlfriend that he had raped her 8-year-old daughter.

After a police investigation in which Smith was found in possession of child pornography, he was arrested on two counts related to child pornography and one count of child molestation.

After being charged, Smith walked free from the court after the judge controversially ruled that he did not pose a threat to the local community, and he raised the $30,000 bail required to trigger his freedom.

The alleged victim’s family said they were “shocked” that Smith had been allowed to walk free from court.

Smith was awaiting trial for his crimes and was awaiting a court date which was due to be scheduled for later this year, however it seems that somebody from the local  community decided to take matters into their own hands. The judge, whose name has been withheld, was woken at around 3am by his “frenzied” barking dog. When he went outside to find out what his dog was barking about, he found the decapitated body of the man he had allowed to walk free slumped against his front door with the severed head left on the steps.

A local resident said of the horrific discovery that finding a headless body was an “unusual” occurrence: “This is a nice area. This is the kind of thing that usually happens in mob films, but not around here.”

Could be that’s the real problem here, then. Because I can guaran-gott-damned-tee you one thing at least: it wasn’t the first time this monster had committed such an atrocity against an innocent child…but it will certainly be the last.

If this turn-’em-loose-Bruce judge refuses to learn the obvious lesson from this episode and continues to blandly unleash quasi-human abominations on the general citizenry to wreak havoc as they will upon them—a citizenry who just proved themselves to be not quite so helpless as Hizzoner had assumed, saints be praised—then perhaps the next decapitated corpse found propped adjacent to somebody’s front door should be his own. Pour encourager les autres, don’tchaknow.

Update! Expect a lot more vigilantism, coming soon to a burning city near you.

Seattle police call it quits. What’s next? Vigilantism
Something will fill the vacuum left by police, and it seems doubtful the left will like the results.

University of Tennessee law Prof. Glenn Reynolds wrote in June about the absence of police:

We’ll see a lot of vigilante justice. And what are people gonna do about it? Call the cops? Remember, in the end the police aren’t there to protect the public from criminals, they’re there to protect criminals from the public. Communities dealt with crime long before police were invented, usually in rather harsh and low-due-process ways. The bargain was, let the police handle it instead. No police, no bargain.

Get ready, folks. Major parts of the country are about to descend to the level of the Wild Wild West.

Ordinary, decent, right-thinking folks have a lot of forebearance, and will put up with a heck of a lot. But their forebearance is not without limit. Methinks the Left hasn’t really thought this whole thing through.

Fake news update! As SteveF points out to my tremendous disappointment, the first linked article is labeled as “satire” at the bottom of the page. Too bad.

Resist we much!

Signs and portents—encouraging ones.

One such example is the police department in the town of Marshall, Arkansas. Despite Governor Asa Hutchinson (R-Ark.) officially signing an order forcing civilians across the state to wear masks, Police Chief Lang Holland has said that his officers will not force anyone to do so, nor will they wear masks themselves.

Chief Holland said that people “have the freedom to choose” whether or not they wear a mask, and that such a move “should not be dictated by the nanny state.”

A similar example, also located in Arkansas, is found in Lonoke County. There, Sheriff John Staley said that while he agrees with Governor Hutchinson’s mask decision, his department will not “be out writing tickets for masks,” primarily because they simply do not have the manpower needed to enforce such an arbitrary rule.

Similar acts of civil rebellion by police forces have occurred in Texas, Montana, and Alabama, among other states.

Good on ya, fellas, with three groans and a moist fart for Lonoke’s Staley for doing the right thing for the wrong reason. It’s only a bare handful of PD’s and states at this point, but it’s a start.

TRAGEDY!

I’m inconsolable. Grief-stricken. Desolated.

Three people were injured in downtown Louisville when a member of an armed black militia group carrying semiautomatic weapons accidentally discharged a firearm as they marched to a demonstration.

Despite earlier reports that the shots were fired as a result of an argument between the group and a far-right organization gathered nearby, it was later confirmed that a member of the Atlanta-based ‘Not F*****g Around Coaltion’ (NFAC) had accidentally fired on other members as they assembled in Baxter Park.

An estimated 350 armed members of the group had gathered there before marching toward the main protest site in downtown Louisville, where about 50 member of the far right militia group Three Percenters were also gathered.

Just hours after the shooting, the leader of the NFAC vowed the group would return to Louisville to ‘burn this motherf****r down’ if the investigation into the death of Breonna Taylor is not completed in four weeks time.

So what’s the tragedy, you ask? Why, that not a one of these three NFuKD buffoons seems to have incurred himself a fatal injury in the dustup. Oh well, better luck next time, I guess. Somehow, it all reminds me of this classic scene:

So totting things up, we have an unfortunate dearth of death in Louisville, and therefore no desperately-needed and long-overdue culling of the current oversupply of violent, moronic Leftard protesters, either. Gladder tidings from down in Austin, though.

The incident leading up to the 28-year-old’s death began about 9:50 p.m. when a driver on Fourth Street honked his horn and turned right onto Congress Avenue where there was a crowd of protesters, Austin Police Chief Brian Manley said Sunday.

Several protesters — including Foster, who was holding an assault rifle — approached the car, Manley said. He said the driver reported that Foster pointed the weapon at him. The driver then pointed his handgun outside the window, fired multiple shots and drove away, Manley said.

Someone else in the crowd opened fire on the car as it drove off, Manley said.

First responders performed CPR on Foster, but he died at Dell Seton Medical Center less than an hour after the shooting, officials said.

The lesson: Don’t start no shit, won’t be no shit.

While ruefully acknowledging the somewhat disappointing outcome of the first story, Real Americans must nonetheless put both of these into the Win column.
