An outsider looks in

They know not what they do.

OK, the first thing to say is to apologise for the sheer cheek of some upstart limey like me commenting on the election in America, but I have to say something because I am sitting here in shocked astonishment looking at what appears to be an engineered tyrannical coup d’état against not just President Trump but against the very ideal of democracy itself.

I’m not going to go into the details of the numerous unprecedented issues of corruption and fraud surrounding this election because those details are many and some are already in the public domain anyway. I am simply going to observe that this is a monumental moment not just in the history of America but in the history of the world, and a monumentally catastrophic moment in terms of freedom, democracy, morality decency and honesty. Those who understand what is actually happening don’t need the whole thing spelled out to them, but those who think nothing terribly untoward is happening other than that President Trump is behaving badly, should listen carefully. Very, very carefully.

The world outside the democratic West is a very brutal place. No left-leaning liberal would wish to live in Saudi Arabia, or Sierra Leone, or countless other such places. No left leaning liberal would wish to have lived in Europe during most of the decades of the 20th century which saw so much devastation and death courtesy of political totalitarians seeking nothing more than power and nothing other than power. These corrupt, totalitarian systems were finally defeated because America fought on the right side of good v evil, of freedom versus tyranny and did so at great sacrifice in terms of the many young men who never made it home again, who died in foreign fields and foreign seas in order to preserve freedom and democracy.

Yet here we are, toward the end of 2020 looking at the very real possibility of the breakdown of democracy in America itself. What would have been unthinkable for so long, over so many generations of Americans, can no longer be considered unthinkable. If this gross subversion of democracy is not dealt with in a satisfactory manner by the lawyers then I see no reason, no reason at all why America should not descend into violence and potential civil war in the worst case scenario, or simply lose all confidence in any future elections as a best case scenario — which can only and inexorably lead to the worse case scenario again.

Destroying the democratic foundations of America will certainly have real world consequences. When Donald Trump won the Presidency in 2016 the far-left cried Russian collusion and displayed their visceral hatred across the entire left-wing spectrum, but their anger wasn’t based on the undermining of democracy; their anger was merely that of the petulant, spoiled child denied a shiny bauble. Their anger was lukewarm, false, unjustifiable. Their anger was mere political posturing and they now think the anger of Trump supporters is the same — mere political posturing.

But how wrong they are. How dangerously wrong they are. The anger of Trump’s supporters is white hot, it is incendiary, it is real and it is entirely, eminently justifiable, and it is not the anger of the loser, it is the anger of the wronged and is about so much more than Trump, this is about the democratic future of the United States of America. When a country reaches the point of such legal corruption and such moral degeneracy that democracy can be overturned in full view of a complicit and unquestioning media and liberal establishment there is very little guarantee that democracy will ever recover. This is why the anger is at boiling point, and even now, the left cannot understand what they have done.

I hope and pray this will be resolved by the legal process, but I implore the Democrats, the left-wingers, the socialists and the communists to stop pretending what you have done is acceptable. It is not, and the consequences could be catastrophic both for you, for America and for the world.

They won’t heed a word of it, of course, badly as they need to. As Herschel so aptly puts it, our British cousin “understands the danger the corruption has caused for America better than the people who caused it, or aided it, or who simply looked the other way.” As is so often the case with arrogant fools, the lesson will only be learned the hard way.

Free helicopter rides for Commies

Normal American begs to differ with my “Amerizuela” post from last week, offering an alternative metaphor of his own.

Portland’s descent into blue-haired, gender-confused madness is something new in America. The city’s criminal justice system tolerates vandalism and assaults by communist thugs, while punishing normal Americans who dare to protect themselves.

Street commie antics in Washington, D.C. last weekend suggest this political rot is spreading. If we give anti-American Portlandesque district attorneys a bit more time, the scoundrels may turn a blind eye to more violent crimes as well. The arsonists are practicing.

Chile provides an example of how this could go. In the early 1970s, under the Marxist president Salvador Allende, Chile’s criminal justice system began ignoring crimes committed by commie street thugs.

“There were repeated violations of property rights in the form of ‘takeovers’ (illegal occupations) of rural, urban, and industrial properties,” says an exhaustive 1991 report commissioned by a later president of Chile. “In most of these cases the owners received no help in recovering their ownership nor were the perpetrators punished.” Police “found themselves administratively blocked from acting during the ‘takeovers.’”

Seattle’s small businesses who sued the city over the CHAZ/CHOP takeover know how this works. Democrat elites encouraged pinkos, rapists, and various malcontents to found their People’s Republic, at least until the rabble showed up at the mayor’s home. Then the malodorous “autonomous zone” got broken up and, one hopes, thoroughly hosed down.

The report on Chile’s troubles, known as the Rettig Report, says normal Chileans realized the Marxist government “was not protecting their rights and that when these rights were violated they could not find support in the police, the judiciary, the General Comptroller’s Office, and so forth.” As a result, “they concluded that the only defense was self-defense.”

Violence increased. There were assaults, kidnappings, and worse. “The murder of a MIR student by a Communist student on the campus of the University of Concepción was publicly declared to be a political problem rather than a criminal one and in fact no sanction was applied.” The commies expected to get away with their crimes.

Chilean journalists labored diligently to make things worse. They “went to incredible lengths to destroy the reputations of their adversaries.” Their “political enemies were being presented as contemptible” and “on a number of occasions there were open calls” for mass violence and murder.

Fortunately the U.S. is a more civilized place. We are fortunate not to have increasingly unhinged journalists spending their time threatening Trump supporters, labeling them “maggots,” and calling them “white supremacists.” If our media betters began to demonize half the country, there’s no telling how that could end.

Perhaps not. But I could come up with a suggestion or three easily enough, I think.

Be sure to read the rest of it. I went on from here to check around his joint a bit further, and it took no time at all to realize that the boy more than merited a spot in Ye Olde Blogrolle here. And so I have proceeded. Thanks for the head’s up there, NA, and keep up the good work.

Fleeing the nest they fouled

Instead of moving down here without invitation or encouragement and ruining our homes for us the exact same way you did your own, consider giving NOT VOTING FOR ANY MORE SOCIALISTS a try, maybe.

More than 300,000 New Yorkers have bailed from the Big Apple in the last eight months, new stats show.

City residents filed 295,103 change of address requests from March 1 through Oct. 31, according to data The Post obtained from the US Postal Service under a Freedom of Information Act request.

Since the data details only when 11 or more forwarding requests were made to a particular county outside NYC, the number of moves is actually higher. And a single address change could represent an entire household, which means far more than 300,000 New Yorkers fled the five boroughs.

Whatever the exact number, the exodus — which began when COVID-19 hit the city in early spring — is much greater than in prior years. From just March through July, there were 244,895 change of address requests to destinations outside of the city, more than double the 101,342 during the same period in 2019.

The escape from New York is fueled not only by coronavirus concerns, but economic worries, school chaos and rising crime, experts say.

Michael Hendrix, director of state and local policy at the Manhattan Institute, which has commissioned surveys about the state of the city, was not surprised by the data.

“I think people are afraid,” Hendrix said. “They’re afraid of catching a deadly virus and they’re afraid of crime and other quality of life concerns. One thing we also hear is about trash and cleanliness of the city.”

Since I’ve expressed my thoughts on this ongoing saga several times already and no longer really give much of a damn about it, I wouldn’t have bothered posting on this particular installment unless it had some aspect I found odd or amusing. I’m pretty sure y’all caught what that aspect might have been, right?

Velvet glove removed

Fascist Fauci flexes the iron hand.

WASHINGTON — Dr. Anthony Fauci has some new coronavirus guidance: “Do what you’re told.”

In an interview Thursday, the coronavirus task force member and infectious disease expert pushed back on the notion that scientists were “authoritarian” for promoting strict lockdowns and social distancing measures.

But the 79-year-old suggested the American spirit of independence had gotten in the way and the nation needed to follow their orders, whether they liked it or not.

“I was talking with my UK colleagues who are saying the UK is similar to where we are now, because each of our countries have that independent spirit,” Fauci said during a panel with other experts in Washington, DC.

“I can understand that, but now is the time to do what you’re told,” he said, as first reported by CNBC.

Tell ya what, I got a better idea for ya. I continue doing exactly as I damned well please; go wherever I need or want to go, for whatever reason I conjure; ignore your precious lockdowns and defy your stupid face-diaper “mandates” completely. While YOU go piss up a fucking rope, you fucking pencil-neck geek.

“Do what you’re told,” proclaims the petty dimestore dictator, the “doctor” who never treated a patient in his life, the parasitic career bureaucrat who has never once been elected to anything. For such a scrawny, weedy, soft-handed little shit, he sure talks big, don’t he? Seems to enjoy throwing his weight around way too much, too. Which I’d guess to be no more than a buck thirty or so. But hey, fascist is as fascist does, always and forever, I guess.

Elsewhere, another bumbling bureaucrat makes another typically moronic assertion.

Dr. Michael Osterholm, a coronavirus advisor to President-elect Joe Biden, said that a 4-6 week lockdown that shut down businesses and compensated workers for lost wages may curb the spread of the virus and get the economy on track until a vaccine is approved and distributed.

Ace slices that baloney:

Shutting the economy down will get the economy “on track”?

The economy that grew 31% last quarter? The economy that is adding a million jobs per month as we come out of the lockdowns?

You’re going to get that economy on track with another month and a half of lockdowns?

When did any Democrat, bureau-rat, or other genus of shitlib ever have the vaguest clue about what might or might not be required to “get the economy on track”? Although since the fundamental premise shared by all such specimens—that the solution to every problem, including economic ones, can come only from government—is a total crock of shit, anything Osterwhoop believes might “get the economy on track” would be a miserable failure regardless. So really, you can’t blame him for his wet-brained stupidity. He is what he is; to expect better from him would be unreasonable and unfair.

Do what you’re told. It’s a sad testament to how far we’ve fallen that an American government employee would ever to dare to say such a thing out loud, in public, without having to immediately go into hiding in fear for his very life. Fauci & Friends’ obvious unfamiliarity with such fear is the reason why the whole country now finds itself completely upside-down, ass-backwards, and in an awful fix.

Throughout government, American “public servants” no longer consider themselves our employees, but our masters. Clearly, that attitude is in need of some serious adjustment.

Not just fraud

A coup.

The plot against America can’t stop. Not when it’s gone this far. Vote fraud isn’t new in American elections. Not even in presidential elections. But it’s never been backed by this degree of coordination and propaganda by the media and Big Tech. When Daley stole the election from Nixon for JFK in Chicago, the operation wasn’t coordinated with the media and Big Tech.

That’s the difference between political corruption and an oligarchy.

When a political party steals an election, it’s corruption, but when a coalition of tech monopolies, media corporations, and their handpicked party steal an election, it’s a coup.

This was not an election. It was a coup.

This was not just voter fraud out of Philly. It’s a coup by the San Francisco oligarchy.

The weeping cable news anchors, and the ruthless suppression of dissent by Facebook, Twitter, and Google, are how fake elections are conducted in totalitarian dictatorships. It’s un-American.

Q: How do you know a given election was fraudulent?
A: There were Democrats involved.

Followup Q: So just how bad was the Democrat fraud this time, anyway?
A: Way, way, WAY worse than you think.

Tonight we have obtained an unaudited analysis of data available for all the states looking for system glitches and other oddities in vote counts related to the Presidential race only.

Last night we reported on another so called system ‘glitch’, this time in a county in Wisconsin.  Evidence was provided to us that showed that the vote totals for Rock County appeared to be switched between President Trump and Joe Biden.  9,516 votes were eliminated from President Trump and moved to Joe Biden. This 19,032 vote difference when corrected would eliminate Biden’s lead in Wisconsin.

In the post last night we also identified issues we’ve reported on in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Georgia where similar ‘glitches’ occurred.

We next attempted to obtain more data on this issue so we could determine how widespread this issue may be and/or if there are reasonable explanations for what is occurring.

Then tonight we were led to a site on the Internet (https://thedonald.win/p/11Q8O2wesk/happening-calling-every-pede-to-/) where someone who had seen our posts decided to do an analysis himself.

In the piece the author claims his work is a full list of votes switched from Trump to Biden or votes erased by Dominion (the vote machines used in many states across the US).

(The author claims that his work has been verified but we have not verified the results so we currently are labeling his results “unaudited.”)

The author decided to obtain the data himself and perform an analysis of national votes switched from Trump to Biden and votes erased (the total amount of votes counted decreased by that amount throughout the counting).

Based on this initial analysis over 500,000 votes were identified that were switched from President Trump to Joe Biden.

In addition to this another 2,865,757 votes were deleted.

WOW. Looks like Team Fraud & Fascism (ie, the Demonrats, Enemedia, and the Deep State) really pulled out all the stops to steal this one. Is it any wonder they’re suddenly so anxious that the people they screwed over all just avert their eyes and shut up so everybody can all “unite” and be friends again?

De l’audace, encore de l’audace, et toujours de l’audace should be tattooed on their damned foreheads.

Silver lining found!

At least the Benedict Arnolds at Faux News are suffering for their treachery.

Internal Fox News Numbers Reveal Catastrophic Viewership Collapse

FOLLOWING FOX NEWS PREMATURELY CALLING THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION IN FAVOR OF JOE BIDEN, THE NETWORK’S RATINGS HAVE PLUMMETED TO NEVER BEFORE SEEN LEVELS BELOW CNN AND MSNBC.

Too bad, so sad. Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of assholes.

Last Friday’s ratings for the supposedly “conservative” outlet were less than both CNN and MSNBC for the first time in years, according to an internal Fox document containing viewership analytics.

The numbers show that on November 6th, Fox pulled 2,266,000 viewers while CNN saw nearly twice as many at 4,009,000 viewers. Similarly, MSNBC, per Fox’s internal numbers, counted 2,983,000 viewers, beating Fox by over 700,000 viewers.

This, mind, after having been the overwhelming ratings champ for years now. Savor the deliciousness in my boldface below:

The Fox News Channel crashed in ratings on Saturday, coming in a distant third place to leader CNN and second place MSNBC. In the week before Tuesday’s election Fox News averaged more than double the viewership of CNN and MSNBC.

Fox viewers have been in revolt since election night when the cable network called states early for Joe Biden while holding off calling states for President Trump.

Ace twists the knife.

The liberal Murdoch boys and their liberal socialite useless wives have decided to reposition Fox as a leftwing channel.

They think they can keep most of their unfashionable, racist current audience — we’re too stupid and sheeplike to object or change our habits! — while making more money, as they get more advertising revenue from left-leaning megacorporations, and Google starts allowing their articles to appear on the first page of search results.

The plan depends on “keeping most of their unfashionable, racist current audience,” plus picking up some liberals. Liberals who apparently want CNN-style liberalism but with Shrieking Eagle graphics and country music in the bumpers.

In other words: They want to keep the current audience by giving the current audience what it does not want, and attract a Phantom Audience of leftwingers who want their CNN-style leftwing bias with a Fox News branding, for some reason.

The plan depends on whether we’re stupid and sheeplike enough to continue watching them even while they stab us in the back.

Early indicators say: We’re not that stupid and sheeplike.

The self-immolation of Faux News may not feel like all that much of a victory after a long, dreary week of catastrophic defeats. But it IS a victory nonetheless, and I’ll take it.

The only evidence of election fraud you’ll ever need

Is this right here:

BoardingUp.jpg

Enemedia and their Democrat-Socialist partners in crime are of course lying through their crooked teeth with all that “no evidence of fraud” folderol they’ve been peddling so aggressively, but the picture above tells the tale. Ballots are supposed to be CAST in secret; they must be COUNTED right out in the open, with plenty of witnesses from both sides closely watching to keep everybody honest, if an election is to be regarded as even remotely above-board. Bodily removing observers from one party, blocking their access in any way, and boarding over windows add up to one thing, and one thing only: somebody has something to hide.

And that is absolutely, positively IT. Finito, end of story, period fucking DOT. Everything else is just details.

Flight 93 augers in

Anton takes stock.

The 2020 election in particular, and our electoral process in general, have been badly compromised.

First there have been the successful efforts by Democrats to loosen electoral administration standards and practices by legalizing ballot harvesting (where partisan “volunteers” go out and collect ballots as well as “assist” voters in filling out their ballots), allowing same-day voter registration, mass mail-in voting, and the like. On the flipside we have Democrats tenaciously fighting any efforts to shore up the integrity of the system, such as requiring ID and proof of citizenship to vote.

Couple all of this with unprecedented last minute rule changes on the eve of what was sure to be the most contested election in generations, if not in American history: all changes designed to favor one side over the other.

Theoretically, none of these measures guaranteed a compromised vote. Theoretically, it’s possible that a system designed to be gamed and abused won’t be. But a party concerned about the integrity of the system wouldn’t expend so much effort making it easier to rig elections; it would do the opposite. The other party, the one trying to do exactly that (if all too often in a desultory, half-hearted way) nevertheless gets attacked as the enemy of “democracy.”

No matter what he does, President Trump will get no credit from his enemies, who are already demanding that he concede before the counting is even over—to say nothing of the lawsuits and potential recounts. If he does, a new standard will have been set, or an old one reaffirmed: in any close election, if the Democrat appears to be ahead, and irregularities appear to be present, they are to be dismissed as nonexistent and the Republican must go gently into that good night.

That may well work in securing the White House this time. But if they just ram this through without explaining what really happened, then the legitimacy not just of our electoral system but of our entire government will have suffered an extreme, and possibly fatal, blow.
No one will really know who won. Partisans on both sides will insist they do, but they won’t—not really. Unless all the anomalies are explained, every count and recount conducted in a fair and transparent manner, the occupant of the White House on January 20, 2021—whoever he is—will sit under a cloud. If he’s Joe Biden, that cloud will be entirely of his party’s own making.

But far more ominously, one half the country—or to be more precise, the class that rules in the interests of (at most) half the country—will surmise that it can rule by fiat. The other half will conclude that they are subjects.

Whether that conclusion resigns the latter to apathy or stirs them to rebellion is the question that will determine the course of our politics going forward.

Agreed, right down the line. The past week’s heinous events have revealed what kind of country America really is. From here on out, we will find out what kind people Americans really are—or if they can still rightly even call themselves Americans at all. I shudder to contemplate what the answer will be. The only thing we can all be certain of is that nothing will ever be the same again. No matter what, politics, elections, the people, their relations with each other, the country as a whole, EVERYTHING has changed—profoundly, irrevocably, and NOT for the better.

Update! Bill, too, is taking stock.

You know, the real problem here isn’t that we have embarrassed ourselves. It is that the Ruling Class and its Ruling Party – the American Oligarchy, in other words – has come out of the shadows in which it customarily operates and, on the third try, managed a naked, but successful coup against Donald Trump.

People thought this was a game. They thought there were rules. There weren’t. There was only win, or lose, and they intended to win.

As I predicted, the tech oligarchs shut down all effective opposition to the coup on their platforms, and put all their expertise to work guaranteeing the success of the coup. The Enemy Media (and that part of the media we thought was not the enemy, but it was too), went all in. The billionaires opened their wallets wide and poured a tsunami of money into the cause. And the politicians loosed Blackshirt storm troopers onto our locked down cities, while we cowered behind closed doors, afraid to breathe free air because of a plague that doesn’t actually exist.

Nor did the designers of the coup intend to settle for half measures. Apparently now control of the Senate is at risk as well. Bucket loads of late ballots manufactured from God knows where are flowing into states in the middle of the night, and suddenly a Senate majority that looked safe for the GOP is teetering on the brink. Make no mistake, if the Senate ends in a tie, Kamala Harris will be there to decide every tie vote to favor the Democrats.

We will end up with a Democrat sweep of the House, the Senate, and the Presidency.

And then they’ll do away with the filibuster in the Senate, pack the Supreme Court, and start to work on rendering the constitution itself an irrelevant document. The Second Amendment? Forget about it. And if you think the cops won’t enforce the gun confiscation orders from their bosses, well, you probably thought our elections were honest, too.

And we will take it. We will accept the new order. Why? Because we have become a weak and flaccid nation, addicted to the numb buzz of our social media habits, brainwashed by the tech lords and the media minions of the progressive juggernaut. Our Founders bet their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor on America. We won’t risk the time it takes to get out of our chairs, away from the juice of FB and Twitter wired directly into our brains, or ten bucks out of our wallets to support candidates who support America. As for honor, that’s so old fashioned. We don’t do honor any longer. And our children have been “educated” to despise everything America once stood for.

We didn’t lose our nation this week. We lost it years ago. And the GOP helped.

Sad to say, I can’t argue with any of that either. As I said last night: although the long downhill slide began long before, we lost our country fully and for good back in the 60s when we complacently declined to kick Proggy Red’s scroungy ass to the curb, tacitly granting space for his diseased ideology to fester and metastasize. The Founders explictly laid out what would ensue should Americans ever relax their vigilance and become derelict in their duty to defend liberty, to “preserve its blessings for themselves and their posterity.” And now their warnings have been realized, their prescient genius confirmed for all time.

All that’s left now is to pay the tab for that gross laxity. It ain’t gonna be fun.

Red flags in your face

Correia compiles ’em, then analyzes the clear fraudulence that’s making ’em wave.

In a small populace, you can get 100% of the vote. However the larger the sample, the more likely there will be dissenting votes. Even in the bluest of blue areas or reddest of red areas, somebody is going to be a cranky dissident, or an old person is going to fill in the wrong circle. When you get into the hundreds or thousands yet maintain that kind of perfect ratio, basically impossible.

Plus we are supposed to believe that Joe Biden, the guy (who) barely campaigned, who got like 12 sad looking people to his rallies, was more popular than Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama? This election was just that much more special? Uh huh… Except that these few battleground state blue cities vote ratios don’t match up with other blue cities around America, where it appears Trump’s support among every demographic group other than white males went UP.

Then people were quick to dismiss these statistically improbable spikes with “of course the mail in voting favors Biden, republicans vote in person.” Yes, but they don’t favor Biden with these kind of ratios anywhere else in America. The ratios are more like 60-40 or 70-30. But 97-3? Oh fuck no. So either Biden is a better campaigner to the inner cities (though he rarely left his basement) than the eloquent messianic figure of Barack Obama, or there’s something fishy going on here.

Now, as a suspicious auditor type who spent a lot of hours looking for fuckery in complex systems, my gut tells me fake ballots were getting dumped into the system to make up the difference. And oh look, here is a giant pile of red flags indicating that’s the case.

As the man says—as I’ve likewise said so many times myself—when all the “mistakes” only go on one direction, always working to the advantage of one side and never the other…well, these aren’t mistakes we’re talking about, people. They’re part of a plan.

Next, Larry tots the whole dumpster fire up for us.

Here’s another thing you learn about auditing. The more chaotic the system, the more chances for fraud. So when you come across a system that is extra chaotic on purpose, that tells you that the people running it want it that way for a reason.

And the flags just keep coming in. This is going to be way worse than Florida in 2000.

What happens now? Beats me. It goes to court, and then the real question becomes how much spine the republicans have to actually fight. In previous years I’d assume they’d be a bunch of spineless chickenshits and wimp out like usual, but I’m not so sure this time. I don’t know if or how any of these will pan out, and without access to the real data, all I can do is guess.

I can say without hesitation though, that fuckery is afoot, and if an actual real investigation happens they’ll be able to prove it. Only this is politics, so who knows. The only thing I do know for certain is that this election is so fucked up it is just going to make America’s two halves hate each other even more.

Usually this many red flags flapping around gets the bull madder’n a wet hen. We’ll soon see if he’s gonna charge or not.

America in trouble

The Biden saga is about more than just Biden, and more than just corruption, even.

Even if Joe Biden were guilty of unethical or illegal conduct while in office; or were now in a position where he could be blackmailed as a president either because of his own misdeeds or Hunter’s…

…millions of Democrat voters would either not know because of DNC-driven media blackouts on the story; or if they did find out, would either not mind, and even kind of admire Biden for his chicanery, or else instantly dismiss the story as “right wing propaganda”—meaning that between the transformation of media outlets into propaganda organs for the Democratic Party, voter indifference/amorality, and voter gullibility, it would be as if those misdeeds had never happened.

In addition, the likely refusal of the FBI and Department of Justice to go after the Bidens—just as they have refused to go after the Clintons and a host of other clearly guilty malfeasants—would also help render the misdeeds effectively non-existent, even if they constituted the rankest bribery and a clear violation of the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution.

And what this all amounts to is just one more indication, among many others too numerous to mention in this article, that the world’s greatest democracy is in far deeper trouble than even most conservatives recognize; that’s true even if Trump wins. If your press is so outrageously partisan and screwed up, that even your publicly-funded national broadcaster, NPR, can refuse with impunity to report on what must be one of the biggest political stories of the year, if not the decade, and almost all other outlets join in the obfuscation and distortion, then you don’t have anything better than Brezhnev-era Pravda. You don’t have “reporting”. You have propaganda—mythmaking—lying—in service to a partisan quest for power. And by the way…how long until Fox falls? It could be next week, next month, any time. And when it does fall…then what?

The point is: You can’t have a functioning democracy unless the citizens first care about facts, and then, have access to those facts. Even then, democracy is fragile. Even in the best circumstances, where everyone’s conscientious and the facts are known, people come to different conclusions, or get things wrong.

So…are the Bidens corrupt?

My First Answer: I’m going to go with yes, yes, and yes. I don’t think they’re All-Star Thespians. Hunter’s been running around for years selling lobbying access to his father, who has at times changed American foreign policy in response, and who has repeatedly enabled and covered for his son’s shenanigans, if he has not profited from those deals himself in the end. If that’s not corruption, nothing is.

My Deeper Answer: Yes, the bad news is they’re corrupt, but the worse news is, it doesn’t really matter anymore. Half the country either doesn’t know about the corruption, doesn’t mind, or wouldn’t mind even if they did know; a mendacious, unaccountable media is covering for the Bidens; and federal law enforcement can’t be trusted to hold the Bidens accountable anymore.

And that’s a story about the country more than about Joe Biden. He’s corrupt, but the country itself is breaking, and breaking ever more deeply. That’s the real story here, and I hope it has a happy ending.

It might, or it mightn’t. Problem is, such happy endings are always dearly bought, paid for in blood, treasure, and misery.

Nothing to see here

Gotta be tough, being wrong every fucking time, about every fucking thing.

The Lincoln Project’s Steve Schmidt told voters to ignore the Hunter Biden laptop e-mail story, calling it “obviously not credible” in an interview with MSNBC host Ari Melber on Monday. Schmidt tied Alex Jones, Rudy Giuliani, and Steve Bannon to the story, who he called “exquisite scumbags,” and called attacks on the son of Joe Biden “disgraceful” and “despicable.”

“It’s obviously not credible,” Schmidt, a former Republican strategist, said. “The American people have been lied to, deceived. I mean, look, this information at its origin is coming from Alex Jones, who is a Newtown denier. Think of the pain that man has caused people in this country. Rudolph Giuliani, who has shattered his credibility for God knows what reason over the last four years. And Steve Bannon, who is…indicted for multiple felonies. None of these people have any credibility. All of these people are exquisite scumbags in this American moment and none of them should be believed.”

“The attacks on Hunter Biden are disgraceful, despicable and they come from, of course, the biggest grifting, disgraceful family that has ever set foot inside the people’s house, the White House,” he said. “The residence of the president of the United States and they have debased it. They have debased the institution. They have disgraced the presidency. They have humiliated the country. And soon it will be time for them to go and to face the judgment of history and the American people.”

Absolutely every word this pustule utters is so completely assbackwards, so totally at variance with observable reality, that I can’t help but glance around in expectation of Bearded Spock’s sudden appearance. Have a gander at the kind of thing this oh-so-virtuous paragon of integrity and Muh Conservative Principles™, this self-appointed Defender of Decency, would have us blithely ignore:

Rudy Giuliani has announced that he has turned over Hunter Biden’s hard drive to Delaware State Police due to pornographic photos of underage girls and inappropriate text messages.

Giuliani confirmed that there are photos of minors on the hard drive during an appearance on Greg Kelly’s show on Newsmax on Tuesday evening.

Giuliani said that Biden, according texts sent to his sister in law, on numerous occasions face timed a 14 year old girl while naked and on crack cocaine.

Giuliani also shared one of the text messages backing up his claim.

But hey, no harm no foul, right, NeverTrumpTards?

It’s a new low for the NeverTrumpTards: so badly has their hatred for Trump unmoored them from rationality, they’re now reduced to defending a crackhead pedophile and his collection of kiddie porn. Even worse, the poor, deluded Beautiful Loser class are so deeply immured in the Swamp miasma they’re unable to perceive any problem with that. If the material evidence of the rampant criminality of Biden, Inc found on Cracky’s laptop is representative of the “normal” that they think we’ll all be happy as clams to see automagically reinstated via their sleazy dump-Trump empty-skullduggery, I’m afraid they’re in for a bit of a shock.

Just a suggestion here, guys: if your politics are so profligately fucked up that they lead you into such a godawful place as where you now are, it just might be time to reconsider those politics. And if your supposedly Noble Quest induces you to speak out in vociferous defense of plain old human debris such as the Biden Crime Family, your quest is anything BUT noble.

The grifter class

The crooks are in charge of the jailhouse.

Hunter’s family is his only asset. How else did someone with no special skills manage to collect such huge payments from foreign companies with deep interests in US policy? He has no knowledge of Ukraine or China, no experience in energy or banking, and a crack pipe full of personal problems. So, how exactly did he get rich?

For that matter, how the hell did Joe get rich? Or hapless Nevada real-estate failure Harry Reid? Or Obama, the “community organizer” who never did a second’s worth of productive labor his entire life? Or Stretch Pelosi? John Dingell? Or any of thousands of other Career Politican slimewads, from all across this once-great nation?

Last I looked, a US Senator makes (not “earns,” mind you) 200 grand a year. The POTUS gets 400k. That might be the stuff of wistful dreams for those of us who have to spend the closing days of every month choosing which bills they’ll be able to pay and which they’re going to have to skip this pay-period. But given Morder On The Potomac living expenses, along with the requirement that Congresscreatures maintain some sort of pied a terre in whatever state they pretend to hail from to be eligible to run for office, it still does NOT add up to leaving that cushy DC sinecure a multi-multi-multi millionaire. No way. The math just doesn’t work. No matter how you slice it, it’s still baloney.

And yet. There is no further evidence needed to show just how badly out of whack and off the rails the Amerika v2.0 system of government really is than the simple fact that so very many of the amoral, conscience-free arachnoids among us disdain True Crime as a profession to instead go into “public service” (HA!) with one purpose in mind, and one only: to get stinkin’ rich.

I hasten to add that there ain’t a damned thing in the world wrong with getting rich, despite how strenuously the Church Ladies of the Left preach a different gospel. Nor should any Real American have a problem with anyone harboring ambitions towards same. But ain’t it funny how every last one of these Demo-Marxist Swamp critters—all of them comfortably afloat themselves on a mighty sea of decidedly ill-gotten personal liquidity—spends so many of their “working” hours passionately denouncing “capitalist greed”; the “heartlessness” of free-market economics; the corruption of Big Business.

And all the while, these virtuous souls are also piously extolling the dire need to palliate the brutality by exorbitantly hiking taxes on “the wealthy”; zealously over-regulating all private businesses, both great and small; and advocating the “equality” and “fairness” of some form of barely-disguised Marxism, of all things. Inexplicably, the Savior Left carefully avoid any mention of how the self-same Proles they copiously weep crocodile tears over consistently fare whenever their self-proclaimed betters have finally contrived to bring those unfortunates under the grinding, bloody heel of it.

Should you or anyone else try to helpfully correct the oversight and stimulate discussion by bringing such a distasteful subject up yourselves, you might just get shot in one of their “mostly peaceful” riots or run over or maybe Arkancided, depending on what’s most convenient. Then there’s doxxing, SWATting, hounding you out of gainful employment forever, and wee-hours bullhorn-wielding mobs on your front lawn issuing threats of violent retaliation, starting random fires, shitting all over the begonias, and generally despoiling the neighborhood.

At the very least, you’ll never be posting another goddamned thing on Twatter or Fakeblecch again, you evil fascist Nazi.

It doesn’t take Sherlock Holmes to figure out the answer. Joe Biden himself could figure it out. The money was meant to open doors in the Obama administration and potentially a future Biden one. It was meant to inform mid-level US bureaucrats and diplomats that these companies had very powerful connections. The message: your bosses will be happy if you meet with these fine folks and even happier if you can help them.

These damning facts were well known before the New York Post published its latest cache of documents, supposedly to and from Hunter Biden. (The word ‘supposedly’ is used here since the documents must be verified.) What’s new about these documents is their avalanche of details, their list of additional companies and specific executives, and the scale of payments, some which were simply for Hunter making ‘introductions’.

The logic here is simple: outsiders purchase access and influence from insiders who sell it. That has long been the story of Washington lobbying and revolving-door politics, which grows in tandem with the size and scope of the federal government. Economists call it ‘rent-seeking behavior’.

The Clinton Foundation set a new standard for this rent-seeking. Its scale was unprecedented, and so was the cleverness of making it a tax-deductible charity. It worked smoothly when Hillary Clinton was secretary of state and the favorite to succeed Barack Obama. How do we know the money funneled to the Foundation and the Clintons personally was designed to buy access and influence? Because it all dried up after Hillary lost. As politicians in the old Chicago Machine used to say, ‘don’t back no losers.’

It is easy enough to see this as corruption, pure and simple. That’s because it is. The recipients are grifters, even though they wear Hermès scarves and ties. They are paid by companies seeking influence in government and the profits associated with it. This is Washington’s Circle of Life. Trump calls it ‘the Swamp’. Retired politicians and generals call it a living.

“Easy enough” to see it? Only a willfully blind man or a pure-tee dumbass could possibly miss it. Read the whole thing, depressing and maddening though it surely is.

Corrupt to the core

Remember how some people claimed that the Hunter Biden emails were “uncomfirmed,” that it probably wasn’t even really his laptop at all, or that—most hilariously of all—it was another “Russian hack“?

Yeah, about all that.

After the New York Post broke the bombshell report detailing evidence found on a computer hard drive of the Biden family’s influence peddling, Hunter Biden’s attorney contacted the computer repairman who found the incriminating material, and asked for the computer hard drive back, President Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani revealed on Steven Crowder’s podcast, Thursday.

The former New York mayor summed up the NY Post bombshell for Crowder:  “Hunter Biden and Joe Biden are involved in a bribery scheme in Ukraine and Hunter Biden and Joe for years have said that Joe knew nothing about Burisma, the company that paid the bribe,” he explained.

“And what there is, is a cold, clear group of text messages in which Hunter Biden sets up a meeting with the number two person in that company and Joe Biden, who then texts Hunter back and thanks him. So it makes Joe a complete liar for the last seven years. It show that he met with Burisma,” Giuliani said.

Hell, the 2017 video of Honest Joe openly bragging about it confirms that well enough, or so one would think.

Plenty more sleaze at the link, none of which comes as a surprise. Anybody who doesn’t know perfectly well what Biden is by now is a damned moron; the rest is just details.

Tell me a story

Oh no, Daddy, not THIS one again.

In 2020, it appears the official story tellers may have another problem on their hands with the Biden campaign. The story they are selling this time is the public is tired of the tyrant Trump and ready to lift-up world-weary old white man, and his super-smart diverse sidekick, and carry them to the White House. You see, world-weary old white man had a nice run, but now it is time for him to go. His last act will be to vanquish mean old white man and then hand the baton over to diverse sidekick.

It’s a familiar story, one that is the center of so many bad movies it is amazing that they keep trying to sell it. In this case, world-weary old white man is a vegetable that has been in hiding for most of the year, because he has shark eyes and says wacky things suggesting he is not all there. Super-smart diverse sidekick is pretty dumb and reminds everyone of getting their license renewed. It’s a bad story that no one wants to think about and the characters don’t work for the audience.

Compounding it is the world-weary old white man has a son that likes to smoke crack and film himself banging hookers. Fair or foul, people judge people by their children and Hunter Biden is a vulgar degenerate. He lies, cheats, steals and does not seem to have anything resembling a conscience. Worse yet, he seems to be an uncommonly stupid person, getting jammed up over stupid things like leaving his laptop with a repair shop, so the contents can be sold to the tabloids.

If the contents were just an unusual amount of cat pictures, people could possibly generate some sympathy for his parents. They gave it their best shot, but the boy was never right in the head. Instead, it’s videos of him smoking crack with hookers and having them perform unnatural acts upon him. Then there are the e-mails from foreign potentates suggesting he was the facilitator in a bribery scheme involving his father, who was vice president at the time, emphasis on the vice.

The Biden-for-Prez story is old and stale by now. But Slimey Joe keeps on trotting the musty old thing out anyway, hoping for the happy ending at last.

Glad to see ya go

It’s a measure of how far we’ve gone astray, and of how bugfuck nuts the Progtards are, that this should even be considered controversial at all.

More than 60 Coinbase employees have taken an exit package after CEO Brian Armstrong said in a controversial blog post last month that the company would not participate in social activism.

The San Francisco-based cryptocurrency exchange offered all employees an exit package if they didn’t agree with the company’s pledge to not take a stand on issues outside its business goals.

60 employees or 5% of Coinbase’s workforce, have taken the deal, Armstrong said Thursday, and a number of conversations are still ongoing, meaning the final number could be higher.

The discussion around Coinbase’s politics started internally this summer when the company didn’t release a statement supporting Black Lives Matter, causing a virtual walkout among employees, Wired reported.

As Glenn says, good riddance to every last one of the flea-bitten varmints. They’re bound to be precisely the type of whiny, neurotic troublemakers that any company would be far better off ridding itself of. The Ramones got a liitle something for ya on your way out the door, SJW shitbags.

Gawd alMIGHTY, how I love those guys.
