A fitting tribute

Last night I made mention of Bon Scott, wondering whether or not he actually did play bagpipes. Turns out he did. That’s pretty cool all right. But wait, it gets even cooler.

AC/DC’s Bon Scott may hold bagpipes in new statue
A STATUE honouring former AC/DC frontman Bon Scott, to be erected in his home town, will feature the Highway to Hell star clutching a set of bagpipes – even though the instrument only figured on one AC/DC track – it has been proposed.

Plans to erect the monument to the singer in Kirriemuir, Angus, have been held back after campaigners disagreed over whether the likeness should be holding the traditional instrument instead of a microphone.

While local charity DD8 Music has already commissioned an architect to design the £40,000 figure, organiser Graham Galloway has launched a public consultation to decide what the people of Kirriemuir want to see in the rockstar’s hands.

Mr Galloway said today: “We’ve had a few people saying they are unhappy that Bon’s statue design features him holding bagpipes.

“We chose this design as we felt it emphasised Bon’s Scottish roots – something he was very proud of.

“It was also a link back to Kirriemuir, where Bon’s father Chick played in the local pipe band and, of course, Bon’s first experiences in music were drumming in the Fremantle band as a boy.

In order to gauge public opinion, Mr Galloway set up an online poll and at present, 85 per cent of the town is demanding bagpipes be included on the statue.

If they do this, I may have to relocate to dear old Scotland. Being of Scots-Irish descent on my mom’s side—as are multitudes of other heritage Southrons—I got roots there my own self. The Kirriemuir statue won’t be the first memorial honoring Bon’s iconic stature, however.

Scott is already honoured in a Kirriemuir street name and with an engraved stone slab in the town’s Cumberland Close alongside those of other famous people from the village.

In February 2008, a bronze statue of Scott was unveiled at Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour in Western Australia, where the singer spent much of his life.

I love it.

Facts: faced

Wes just comes right out and says it.

There is a lot of talk about violence and how it isn’t necessary. Everyone is asking for everyone to remain calm. So tell me, how exactly are you going to stop this fraudulent President-Elect Biden from being sworn in? Don’t tell me to trust the plan that it is the final act that needs to happen before Trump can act. Seriously? Makes me laugh. We are five days away from our country flat out being stolen from us. The whole world knows this election was stolen. Even Stevie Wonder can see that this election was stolen. And all I hear is “remain calm, trust the plan, we’ll vote them out in two and four years from now, we can survive.” Elections are meaningless now, that has been proven.

What did our Founding Fathers think about violently resisting tyranny? George Washington once said “Firearms stand next to the constitution itself. They are the American people’s liberty teeth and keystone under independence. To ensure peace, security, and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable. The very atmosphere of firearms everywhere restrains evil interference, they deserve a place of honor with all that is good.” How about Thomas Jefferson? He once said “The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.” And even though Alexander Hamilton is one of the reasons we are in the mess we find ourselves in now he said this in Federalist Papers 28 “If the representatives of the people betray their constituents, there is then no resource left but in the exertion of that original right of self-defense which is paramount to all positive forms of government. The citizens must rush tumultuously to arms, without concert, without system, without resource; except in their courage and despair.” And don’t tell me that these are different times, that our government is just too powerful. It does not matter. Freedom has always been gained and retained with violence and resistance.

Our government has failed in its duty to follow our founding documents. We are at fault for allowing that. Now is the time to set that right. People are worried about our probability of success and our lack of organization. Understandable, but our own revolution that founded this once great nation started out very small and very unorganized. In fact most rebellions throughout history have always started small. Would our revolution have even happened without Sam Adams and his Sons of Liberty?

The truly scary thing to ponder is: How many “Americans” today would prefer that it hadn’t?

Hey hey, my my

Rock and roll will never die.

I present this ass-kicking foursome in the exact same order I heard ’em earlier on one of the local classic-rock radio stations when I was out. You can’t begin to imagine how deliriously happy it makes me to know that even now, early in the year 2021, a four-song set as insanely great as this is still available for my listening pleasure, right there on the FM dial. Warms the cockles of my cockles, it does.

Update! Looky what popped up automagically while I was typing the above.

Wonder if it really was Bon playing those bagpipes. If this ain’t what Rock And Roll Heaven sounds like, then I don’t wanna go.

Livin’ on Tehran time

Welcome to the New Iran.

“But the president of Iran gets to keep his Twitter account, and that’s not fair,” seems to be their thematic response.

Yes. That’s exactly right. Donald Trump does not get to have a Twitter account, but the president of Iran, and any other authoritarian hellhole dictator you can list, does. But it is time to stop scribing about the hypocrisy of the technocrats and the media and the radical Left, yelling, “See, look how hypocritical they are!” They are perfectly comfortable with their own hypocrisy. They only care about power.

It is also time to face a harsh reality: today’s American regime has far more in common with the Iranian regime than we’d like to think, and Americans are more like subjects of totalitarian tyrants than citizens who have consented to being governed.

You have lived in Iran for a long time now, but nobody has been willing to tell you that. So, good morning! It’s another beautiful day here!

You could be forgiven for thinking the author is being more than a little tongue-in-cheek about this New Iran thesis of his, but he’s dead on target if you ask me. Further backup for it:

The words “President Trump” would never have entered the history books if not for the Left and its relentless, pathological hatred of anyone to the right of center. If America is heading towards civil strife, it is because the Left—with the complicity of an opportunistic establishment—has slowly but surely nudged half the country into a corner.

The Left has categorized millions of ordinary people who just want decent, honorable lives as “far-right extremists” and “conspiracy theorists” who deserve to be silenced, fired from their jobs, and rendered socially untouchable. These “dangerous people,” held in such contempt by the Left and the ruling elite, retain such fringe notions as “nations should have borders” and “men and women are different.” The Left has been playing a game of “stop hitting yourself!” with these people for years, and in 2016, those people finally had enough.

It is now four years later and his supporters have watched the president they legitimately elected spend every waking moment in office fight a war of succession with a faction of narcissistic psychopaths. Without a single day of rest, the most powerful institutions in the country conspired in a temper tantrum to overturn the will of the people, all in the name of “democracy,” simply because they did not like who the people had chosen. From day one, they have treated Trump like a usurper whose mere election was an “insurrection,” and they have not concealed their disgust for his supporters, whom they regard as “racist,” subhuman scumbags.

With Trump gone, they will use the Capitol “insurrection” to further disenfranchise his supporters without hesitation. While many on the Right have condemned the Capitol protesters, hoping that by doing so they will be spared, the Left has already launched a propaganda offensive to convince the public that what transpired was one of the worst things ever to happen in American history, and the inevitable consequence of an aberrational presidency. Everyone who supports Trump now, or has ever supported him, is thereby implicated in this “terrorism.”

We find ourselves in an unsustainable situation. Millions of Americans never have felt more unwelcome in their own country, more disillusioned, or more vulnerable to an unaccountable enemy that hates them with a powerful, homicidal loathing. Their own party has unconcealed indifference and contempt for them. They’re “racists” and “conspiracy theorists” just for existing and having thoughts and perceptions that contradict the propaganda of the people who want to destroy them. If they try to defend themselves by voting, their votes will be dismissed as “illegitimate” and they will be branded enemies of the public.

When your back is at the wall and you’re facing a mob, sooner or later you have to defend yourself before they bludgeon you to death.

Hey, know of any other country where death by bludgeoning is pretty common? I can think of one.

Autonomous County Project

TL proposes a way forward.

This is a post that has been put off and put off due to other more pressing issues literally as the nation hangs in the balance. A presidential election affects the entire nation and therefore the unresolved nature of it is vexing. Regardless whether the election is settled or not, the change from a corrupted and dysfunctional republic to an all out communist state run by the puppet master that is China is another thing.

The Autonomous County Project is something designed to combat the communist wave sweeping the nation. The Constitution embodies some particular ideals that are important for a free people to cling to, even if they pack the courts and turn the Supreme Court into a liberal lovefest, finding everything under the sun “constitutional.” That is where we are. It’s important for the individual to demand their rights, especially when they are being ignored by the establishment. The Constitution embodies those rights, but it cannot create them and cannot destroy them. It can either be an aid in securing them or a nonsensical piece of paper. The difference is up to the people.

The Autonomous County Project is something that was quickly becoming necessary even without the recent election. It was already clear that the people of a given state held vastly different viewpoints from others in that state based on where they lived. Urban populations all over the nation have different values and concerns than the rural population. That in every state, the laws passed by representatives of the urban population were able to disregard the views and beliefs those in the rural part of the state. These blue islands in a sea of red had been able to control the state and therefore the run of the legislature on a state and a national level. But that, in effect, is a democracy, not a republic. The Constitution was written for an overwhelmingly rural people, not considering that at some point the number of people in the cities would outnumber those in the whole rest of the state. They understood the nation from a rural perspective, because they derived their greatest revenue from crops and that requires rural land.

But, one might say: “well, that’s how it works, the greater the population, the more weight in government.” But, it is not how it was supposed to work. There is one overlooked clause in the Constitution.

It’s a good, solid idea, and makes for interesting reading. But it puts the cart before the horse. No attempt at any kind of restoration will bear fruit unless and until our would-be masters are removed, the institutions corrupted by them unmade, the illegitimate power seized by them dissolved. Without all that, any effort to find a peaceful, non-violent way out of this awful situation can only be “interesting reading,” and nothing more.

Getting right down to business

They’re coming, and they’re not wasting any time about it.

As a devout Catholic, Biden understands that defensive violence is not merely a natural right, but the Catechism of the Catholic Church calls it a “grave duty.” St. Thomas Aquinas explained that “if a man, in self-defense, uses more than necessary violence, it will be unlawful: whereas if he repel force with moderation his defense will be lawful.”

This is why it is so puzzling that Democrats in Congress are pushing ahead with their controversial bills that would restrict Americans’ right to keep and bear arms. They may have forgotten that it was just last week that President-Elect Biden reminded us of his “hopeful prayer for peace, justice, and healing the world over.”

It is odd. Why don’t these Democrats understand that, as the leader of their own political party repeatedly tells us, this is a time for national healing?

One proposed new law, H.R. 127, would require “the licensing of firearm and ammunition possession and the registration of firearms” and ban the possession of certain ammunition. Another, H.R. 121, would “provide for the hiring of 200 additional Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agents and investigators to enforce gun laws.”

If you’re wondering what those 200 new ATF agents would do, H.R. 130 has an answer. That bill would “require the investigation of reports of improper storage of firearms or ammunition.”

Sadly, these proposals would further divide our troubled nation. The bizarre thing is that they have been introduced despite our president-elect telling us that it is time to “begin the work to heal and unite our nation!”

Very mysterious, innit? I have it on VERY good authority that nearly all Demonrat-Socialists pro-pols are avid hunters, hunting being the sole reason the 2A was written in the first place. Hey, if you don’t believe it, just ask ’em.

Although NormAm emphasizes Democrat-Socialists in his post, I note with disgust that one of the nine (count ’em, 9) listed affronts to the Constitution is sponsored by a Repugnican—from the great Republic of Texas, no less, same as the execrable Sheila Jackass Lee—a fellow yclept Burgess, Michael C. [R-TX-26]. I know nothing at all about the guy, but if you reside in his district, be sure not to leave him in the dark regarding your extreme displeasure over his perfidy. In my opinion, flaming bags of dogshit on his porch late at night might be a fine start.

Update! Fundamental transformation.

Introduced on January 11th and referred to the House Judiciary Committee, the resolution proposes an “amendment to the Constitution of the United States to abolish the electoral college and to provide for the direct election of the President and Vice President of the United States.”

Authors of the bill include Rep. Cohen, Rep. Zoe Lofgren, Rep. Jan Schakowsky, Rep. Julia Brownley, Peter DeFazio, Rep. Adriano Espaillat, Rep. John Garamendi, and Rep. Jim Cooper.

Before revealing what the constitutional amendment would look like, the bill rebukes the electoral college as created in “an era of limited nationwide communication and information sharing” and resting on “an antiquated theory that citizens will have a better chance of knowing about electors from their home States than about Presidential candidates from out of State”

Pure, undiluted balderdash. That twaddle is not even REMOTELY what the Constitutional mandate for the Electoral College is all about—which I’m sure these disingenuous shitweasels know full well. The EC was intended to act as a bulwark against the tyranny of mob rule, the inevitable end state of direct democracy, a fatally-flawed system the Founders correctly distrusted, even feared.

It is absolutely intolerable, having to listen to these sewer rats piously puke up lecture after lecture about “preserving” America, “democracy,” the Constitution, and such from the fascist despot Trump’s depredations even as they beaver away at dismantling it all just as quickly as they can get it done.

Say. Her. Name

God bless this man.

As usual, street artist SABO has managed to trigger the Left with his latest venture.

The artist, who was on Capitol Hill at the time of the rally and the riot, is well known for tweaking the noses of Leftist politicians, Hollywood, and Trump himself.

This time, however, SABO’s using the Left’s own rhetorical tropes to call attention to the case of Ashli Babbitt, the Air Force Veteran who was shot and killed by Capitol Police for breaching the Capitol entrance.

He’s created a free downloadable poster of Babbitt in hopes that the life of the Trump supporter will not be forgotten.

SABO told PJ Media that the Left continually tells us that people aren’t dangerous if they’re not armed, so why was Babbitt shot?

“This woman was unarmed, many of the protesters were escorted into the building,” SABO said. “Why was she killed? We spent the summer watching BLM and ANTIFA Burn, Loot and Murder from coast to coast while law enforcement stood down and did nothing. Why her? Unlike Breanna Taylor, Ashli was never found to have a dead body in the truck of her car. Her boyfriend wasn’t a drug dealer. Unlike George Floyd she wasn’t high on drugs, resisting arrest when she was killed by police. I want this image to be used to honor her in the same way the Left has honored their own who have died.”

Already downloaded my own copies, one of which I’ll be downsizing for deployment in the CF sidebar. According to Taft, some poor sap posted Sabo’s piece on Instaphlegm, with unsurprising results:

Some of the replies to the post were chilling and sad. One said, “went to DC and came out D-ceased.” Another said with a laugh emoji “DEADKAREN?” Still another claimed that Babbitt was “burning in hell.” A woman who goes by the handle of “mandatory carry” said, “Don’t be absurd- They can’t say her name, she’s a actual victim.” Another responded that she was “a victim of her own stupidity.”

Others said “terrible loss of life. But…she shouldn’t have gone in that building.”

Be assured that no one will be cancelled for saying horrible things about Ashli Babbitt.

We can disagree on politics, but is there really any disagreement over someone’s tragic death?

Victoria, Victoria, Victoria. Can you possibly be so naive as that? Of COURSE there is “disagreement” over it. In fact, the death of anyone who blasphemously resists or rejects Progtalitarian religious dogma is no tragedy whatsoever to the Satanic Left, no matter what the circumstances are. Evidence aplenty that the callous goblins of the Left regard enemy fatalities as cause not for mourning but for orgiastic celebration is right there in your own damned article, and plenty more of it has been rubbed in the faces of decent people for years and years now.

Real Americans better get wise to exactly what these vile, vicious subhumans really are, before it’s too fucking late to stop them.

Demonrat Projection Deflection, in full effect

Oh, we had ourselves a coup all right. No question about that.

Real coups are not clumsy mob attacks adjacent to lawmakers. Real coups, above all, are about control: Control of communications, control of bureaucracy, and above all, control of military power. And in the past few days, it is President Trump’s enemies who have seized control of all these things.

The most obvious sign of the unfolding coup is the most memorable: The suspension, and then banning, of the President’s Twitter account. After this ban was handed down, a flurry of other tech companies rushed to follow suit.

This isn’t just a petulant attack on the President. For tens of millions of Americans, the President’s Twitter, Facebook, and emails are the main ways they see his statements, unmediated by the press or other actors. While the President has other ways to reach the public, the bans slowed him down and made it far harder for the public to hear him. In effect, Big Tech has hobbled the President’s ability to speak out about what is happening.

Our globalist overlords have decided that there must be no popular way for the President to easily communicate directly with the public he governs that is uncontrolled by powerful, left-aligned corporations.

On Friday morning, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi publicly announced that she had directly contacted military leaders to strip President Trump of his military authority:

Amid mounting pressure to remove President Trump from office, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Friday spoke to the nation’s top military leader about taking precautions to ensure against Trump rashly initiating a military action or nuclear strike in the chaotic waning days of his presidency.

“This morning, I spoke to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley to discuss available precautions for preventing an unstable president from initiating military hostilities or accessing the launch codes and ordering a nuclear strike,” Pelosi (D-San Francisco) said in a letter to her Democratic House colleagues Friday.

This is nothing more than a plot to illegally usurp the President’s constitutional powers. In other words, it is exactly what happens in a real coup. Real coup d’états always revolve around getting the military’s backing. And in this crisis, the military immediately showed where its loyalties lie.

So, in effect, Donald Trump’s command of the military has been usurped by a committee of top generals, members of Congress, and his own Vice President. In other words, he is no longer the real commander-in-chief. And if Donald Trump is no longer the commander-in-chief, then he is no longer the President of the United States. A coup d’état has been carried out. The Trump presidency is over.

It’s no more than the usual Projection Deflection tactic, indignantly accusing their enemies of the exact thing they’re doing themselves. But excoriating the Left for their fathomless hypocrisy is worse than a waste of time, a pointless, masturbatory exercise better men should’ve abandoned long ago as a lost cause. If these people were capable of shame, they’d have all died from it years ago already. Honestly, I’m beginning to think they do it for their own amusement, for pointing and laughing purposes.

At this point, seeing Righty pundits all a-dither over Progtard “hypocrisy” puts me in mind of the cruel old country-boy prank of tying a string of empty tin cans to a dog’s tail, watching with sadistic glee as the poor pooch runs about in frenzied circles, unable to elude the noisy pursuer always right behind him, until he finally keels over half-dead in an exhausted heap from sheer fright.

I would have been happy to just re-post the whole piece here, but I’ll restrain myself to the excerpt instead and implore you to click on over for the rest.

Think you’re too cynical?

You’re almost certainly not cynical enough.

I’ve been ranting for years about the perfidy of the left. At times I’ve been accused of exaggerating. On rare occasions I feared – or hoped? – that perhaps I was exaggerating. In fact I can now see that these people are worse than I ever imagined. Worse than most of us ever imagined.

Worse, even, than Donald Trump, with all his insight, imagined.

He went into office determined to clean up the swamp. He was tireless. But not tireless enough. No mere mortal could have been tireless enough. Trump had denounced the swamp in apocalyptic terms, but it proved to be even deeper and more extensive than he knew. It reached into the upper echelons of the intelligence community and the military, into cabinet departments and the judiciary.

Not only did the Democrats try to derail his campaign and then his presidency. Even people whom he appointed to White House jobs proved unreliable. Far from being too suspicious, he’d been too trusting. He’d appointed two-faced D.C. insiders. He’d trusted people who turned out to be snakes in the grass.

The news media, with very few exceptions, made it their task to thwart his progress and poison his name with a constant flow of disinformation. They said Trump had told people to drink bleach. They said he’d called neo-Nazis “good people.” They said many other outrageous things that they knew were outright lies. They relentlessly repeated the charge that he did nothing but lie, lie, lie, when in fact it was they, the media, who were constantly feeding us lies.

As all this happened, I tried to figure out what it reminded me of. It took two days to come up with the answer. It was the 1960 movie Spartacus. After his army has crushed the slave rebellion, Crassus (Laurence Olivier) promptly initiates the ruthless transformation of the Roman Republic into an empire, telling the republican senator Gracchus (Charles Laughton):

As the slaves died, so will your rabble if they falter one instant in loyalty to the new order of affairs. The enemies of the state are known. Arrests are in progress; the prisons begin to fill. In every city and province lists of the disloyal have been compiled. Tomorrow they will learn the cost of their terrible folly, their treason.

When Gracchus, the leader and hero of Rome’s deplorables, asks where his own name stands on Crassus’s list, Crassus shoves it in his face and shouts: “First!”

Yes, the author of the novel Spartacus, Howard Fast, was a Communist. So was Dalton Trumbo, who wrote the script. In Trumbo’s mind, Crassus’s list may well have been, at least in part, a reference to the Hollywood Blacklist, which had caused a brief hiccup in his own otherwise spectacular career. But for millions who saw the film, the idea of listing, arresting, and imprisoning “enemies of the state” would surely have brought to mind, above all else, the terrible reign of Stalin, who had died seven years earlier. Today it also recalls the brutal tyranny of Mao.

There’s no intrinsic magic about America that protects it from becoming Mao’s China or Stalin’s Russia. Only utopians believe in the perfectibility of man. People are people. And some of the people who are now, or are about to be, in power in the United States would, if accorded enough power, do far more to those of us who falter in loyalty than merely take away our social-media accounts.

Indeed, as scary as the situation may be right now, one thing’s for certain: worse is on its way.

Believe it. If the historical record is any guide, and it is, the current Great Purge is just the beginning.

Afraid of us?

They sure ain’t acting like it.

January 8, 2021. As a conservative political writer, which I’ve been for some time, Friday night had the weird feel of a surrealistic, conservative-thought-purging Kristallnacht.

First and most surreal, Jack Dorsey’s Twitter permanently banning the account of the President of the United States. Not for some singular awful thing Donald Trump did, said, or tweeted — but for what he might do, say, or tweet in the future. That is profound.

For that reason, Dorsey, in all of his smug, left-wing arrogance, said, in effect, “F**k you!” to 74 million Americans who supported and voted for Trump, “You don’t matter.

But that was just the beginning.

As the day and evening unfolded, we learned that Google had suspended conservative-leaning Parler from its app store, pathetically citing an “urgent public safety threat” as its reason, and Apple had given Parler a 24-hour ultimatum to, in effect, clean up its conservative act. Coincidence? Not a snowball’s chance.

A few hours later, Google issued a similar ultimatum telling Parler that its app’s listing in the Google Play store would be suspended until it implements a moderation plan that will address “this ongoing and urgent public safety threat.”

Clearly, this was a planned, coordinated attack. Just as clearly, it was an ominous harbinger of more to come. In a word, conservatives, I’m afraid we ain’t seen nothin’, yet. As Friday evening continued to unfold, I found myself pondering the answer to one question:

Why are they so afraid of us?

They aren’t. They’re in the process of subjugating and suppressing Real Americans—brazenly so, defiantly so, right out in the open, without a care for anything we might think, say, or do about it. That is NOT the kind of behavior associated with one who fears those he’s attacking. It’s behavior you’d expect from a confident, secure antagonist who believes victory is all but certain.

Which is why taking any option imaginable off the table, up to and including physical violence against the enemy, is such a huge mistake. By pre-emptively foreswearing weapons and tactics he has no compunction about using against you himself—because BETTER THAN THAT, NOT WHO WE ARE!!!™—you only reassure your opponent that his assumption of victory is correct.

The Enemy’s commitment to winning is absolute; he is ruthless, untroubled by doubt or conscience. He acknowledges no boundaries of any kind to limit his campaign to destroy us. If our own resolution is even one iota less firm than his, then we might as well surrender now and save all involved a lot of pointless hassle. We were conquered well before the first shot was fired.

Fear not, America: Your FBI™ is on the job

I know I said was just about done with posting about, or paying the least bit of attention to, any more election-theft news. But this one sorta grabbed me for some reason.

BREAKING: FBI Claims Jurisdiction and Yesterday Took Control of Shredded Ballots Being Analyzed in Georgia – Sends Them Back to Shredder
The FBI in Georgia stopped the forensic analysis of shredded ballots, took the ballots away from the forensic team and brought them back to the shredder.

The FBI demanded that they had jurisdiction of the review of ballots in Georgia. Then yesterday the FBI took control of the shredding truck and materials and demanded the shredding operation be completed.

Yep, just openly laughing in our faces now. But hey, no sweat; we’re really gonna show ’em in 2024! Right, gang?

They’re coming

Cowards, chickenshits, poltroons—gutless, twisted scum.

Our rulers did not enjoy being driven out of the U.S. Capitol. They will seek revenge.

Politicians scampered away through underground passages like frightened bunny rabbits on Wednesday. One report says they “sprinted down to the basement and through the subway tunnels.” Photos show our ruling elites cowering and playing dead. This is the behavior of prey animals. Rabbits may freeze in the presence of a threat.

Journalists were not important enough for the tunnels. A hero at Politico announced “we are hiding behind chairs and tables.” Another valiant journalist was “having a panic attack.” But instead of setting up the gallows, patriots merely doused the paid propagandists with fire extinguishers.

It was humiliating. It was embarrassing. It is something that our self-appointed betters are determined to make impossible to happen again. The deplorables cannot be permitted to fight back.

Normal Americans will be tempted to point out Democrats’ hypocrisy. Our self-described betters spent 2020 excusing attempts by the street commies to burn down federal courthouses and police stations. The left normalized street violence and occupying government buildings. They turned a blind eye to “autonomous zones” run by warlords. NPR served up the official propaganda with its fawning interview of the author of In Defense Of Looting. We are not allowed to remember that left-wing protesters stormed the Wisconsin State Capitol and Capitol Hill not too long ago.

Of course the left are hypocrites. But dwelling on their hypocrisy is poor preparation for the reality of Democrats taking over Washington, D.C. in two weeks. If federal police already are bold enough to collude with the Biden transition team and harass Patrick Byrne, imagine how much official mischief will happen after the inauguration. The Anti-Domestic Terrorism Act of 2021 isn’t going to write itself. For our anti-American elites who loathe devout Christians, gun owners, and sundry deplorables, Christmas will arrive early this year.

The left is so unhinged they can’t wait until the inauguration to get rid of President Trump. Democrats are demanding that Vice President Pence “invoke the 25th Amendment and begin the process of removing President Trump from office.” A second impeachment attempt is in the works, along with plans to get rid of Sen. Ted Cruz for daring to raise the possibility of election fraud.

Consider what is being done to Trump even by nominal Republicans like Mitt Romney. They want him gone, if not in Gitmo. Twitter gave the president the boot. Facebook exercised its constitutional authority to declare a national emergency and delete a presidential video. Meanwhile, Iran is asking Interpol to arrest Trump on charges of killing an Iranian general. Perhaps Attorney General Merrick Garland can help a fellow out.

If they can do this to a sitting president, they can do it to anyone.

They most certainly can…and take it the bank, they will. In fact, they’ve already started.

Curtains

Julie Kelly’s post mortem.

Within hours of the breach of the Capitol, Graham, who failed for four straight years to fulfill his repeated promises to “get to the bottom” of Barack Obama’s corrupt FBI, called for a special task force to investigate the “domestic terrorists” involved in the January 6 incident. “Sedition might be a charge for some of these people,” the tough talker warned. “The people sitting in the chairs need to be sitting in a jail cell.”

Thankfully, Ms Lindey long ago proved zherself to be all mouth. So if he holds true to form, nobody needs to fear anything at all from him this time either.

Graham claimed Trump’s “actions” before the incident “tarnished” the president’s accomplishments in office—accomplishments, by the way, that Trump achieved with little help from Senate Republicans, including Graham.

Ending their reign in humiliation and defeat, capped off with final gasps of grandstanding and betrayal, is a fitting end to the GOP Senate in the Trump era.

Trump supporters, unfortunately, didn’t deserve what they got in the end, as they endured more mockery and contempt from the media, Democrats, and NeverTrump hucksters alleged to be in their own political party. The lax double standards that apply to BLM rioters and Antifa thugs, of course, did not apply to the handful of troublemakers who vandalized the Capitol. Just a short trip down memory lane showed politicians and journalists cheering the takeover of the Hart Senate Office Building in October 2018 by leftist “protestors” angry about Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination and attacks on U.S. senators. But that wasn’t enough to expose the hypocrisy of the moment.

Like so many times before—be it a mob in Charlottesville or pro-life high schoolers at the Mall in Washington—it was death by proxy. Reporters and pundits want to “cleanse” the country of 75 million Trump supporters, language unthinkable just four years ago.

Trump’s presidency will end, but it’s unclear where he goes from here. The Republican Party as we know it also is over; the GOP’s disloyalty to the president and his voters in the final stretch will not be soon forgotten. And Republican control of the Senate during the Trump era ends just how it began, in making a bargain to do the Left’s bidding and ultimately acting as the Democratic Party’s useful idiots.

Democrats will control the White House, the Senate, and the House for the first time since 2009. A feeble near-octogenarian will pretend to govern as his ambitious vice president waits in the wings for her chance to rule. Senator Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) will try to inflict God-knows-what on the country for at least the next two years.

It’s unlikely that will end well, either.

It didn’t have to end this way. Senate Republicans could have tackled election illegalities if for no other reason than to the placate the base. The president could have been far better prepared to confront voter fraud cases and stayed focused on the more provable examples rather than fringy, hard-to-prove accusations. The Republican Party could have acted like the Democratic Party by demanding state lawmakers in swing states push back harder.

But none of it happened.

The end.

The End indeed. David DeGerolamo presents an exciting scenario:

Based on the information from Italy concerning the CIA’s manipulation of the 2020 presidential election, Texas formally declines to recognize Joe Biden’s inauguration. The dispute between Texas and the federal government is not resolved. Texas secedes citing the breach of the Constitution’s election requirements and voter fraud. Florida secedes and joins the new American Union (AU) under President Trump. Other states start to debate which is the legal government. The Biden administration orders federal troops to put down the “rebellion”.

What will people do in the existing United States when their state governments try to overthrow the new country since the majority of the people voted for Trump? Why is President Trump in Abilene, TX? If President Biden did not have dementia, he would realize that his “administration” will be short lived or dead on arrival.

I like it, but Texit ain’t gonna happen. As for Trump, if he’s at all smart he already got himself, his family, and as big a portion of his wealth as he could quickly gather the hell out of this blighted country altogether, and will never set foot here again.

“This country is done”

Nothing left now but to stick a fork in—a pitchfork, that is, DEEP into the treasonous curs who killed her.

So many emotions. I’m not even sure what to say at this point. I’m disappointed, angry, disgusted, sad, and heartbroken. The Republic is Dead. This country is done. We will now have to fight our way out of communism. If you do not bow down and kiss the feet of this government, you are now a terrorist and an enemy of the state.

Trump blew it yesterday. He had an opportunity to present his evidence and “Release the Kraken”, instead we got a rally speech. It was funny listening to the speakers yesterday who are under the impression that we can vote our way back out of this in two and four years. Makes me laugh. I don’t think they understand that voting is now useless and we will be told who will rule over us from now on. Georgia anyone? Yeah I caught a lot of flak for Georgia from those who still wanted to believe. At least Georgia finally opened some eyes and put that final nail in the coffin of our vote meaning anything.

The time for action is now! We will never be any stronger than we are now. The Conservative grifters who have egged this on but want to put the brakes on it now that they see it’s serious, and will cost them their lucrative gigs and cocktails at the DC watering holes with their Liberal buddies need to be outed and shamed. Bye-bye. Accept it, you grifters have lost control now and your days of swindling us are over.

We need to do to every state house what was done at the Capitol, and then some. It’s time for us to play by their rules. “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.” Our enemies are the most scared of us at this point that they’ve been in a year. THIS is the time to strike. Who will lead it?  Here in North Carolina our Governor Cooper is momentarily off balance (his news conference hinting at coming lockdowns was annihilated by actual citizen action). But if he has enough time to regroup, he’ll double down to teach us a lesson. We’ve GOT to go after him before then. If a state will go after their lockdown Governor within a week, Patriots in other states will be inspired and hopefully follow.

These Communist have stolen and killed America. Best get your minds wrapped around that. Their Pravda decry us as violent, and cheaters, trying to steal an election. When in fact it is them that has stolen this election in broad daylight and have dared us to do something about it.

Wes closes with Paine’s famous quote that begins: “These are the times that try men’s souls.” True then—and, alas for us, true now.

He’s got a little list

Our old friend Silverdeth, that is. To wit:

Can we compile a list of every “Conservative” pundit, writer, reporter, talker, website, and politician who has betrayed us in the last few days – complete with links? I am going to start a list, complete with quotes, of who our enemies are, so we can pass it off to normies.

There’s already quite a few names on it, sad as that is, and it’ll only get longer. Thanks to another old friend, OverMountainMan, for the tip.

Update! Cap’n Smith gives ’em a real no-shitter.

This will be brief, but I must say that as I’ve had time to think about it, I don’t really care what happened in Washington, D.C., except that a good woman perished. I don’t really care if it was a false flag event, I don’t care what was or wasn’t accomplished. I wouldn’t care if the capital building had been burned to the ground. I don’t do business there, and any shutdown of the business of the controllers can’t help but be good for the liberty of America.

But what I do care about is the rank, despicable, repulsive hypocrisy of those who enjoy the liberty bought for them by the blood, sweat, tears, toil, labor and in some cases the lives of better men who risked everything to purchase that independence from tyranny – but then who demand that the very tactics they chose to obtain that independence, absolutely necessary tactics as proven by the fact that the king had dispatched his armies, are never acceptable, bring nothing good, never accomplish anything worthy, and are to be avoided at all costs.

Violence against King George didn’t accomplish anything good, until it did, and liberty was purchased and freedom won. Spare me the moralistic preening, screaming outrages, and demands for justice. Those demands should have been proffered over the 2020 election fraud rather than the people who rebelled against that national crime.

And if you wish to criticize what happened at the capital, spare me your complaints about the next four years. I’m not interested in hearing them. Shut up and take it. You lost your moral justification with your claims that violence gets you nothing. Violence brought an end to the Islamic occupation of Europe, where little girls were raped and turned into sex slaves, boys were forced to become Islamic hoodlums, women were raped and then killed, and all of this happened in front of the men who were then tortured and killed.

Your threshold for invoking violence may or may not be the equivalent of mine or anyone else, but don’t tell me that violence gets you nothing and then reach for a gun when a criminal busts in your door to harm your family.

It lines up nicely with the bumper sticker slogan: Except for slavery, Naziism, fascism, and Communism, war never solved anything. I gotta wonder if those frail, delicate types whinnying and pawing the turf in indignation over Wednesday’s “unacceptable” uprising know what they’re really saying when they borrow Obama’s “That’s not who we are!” catchphrase to vilify people who, after all, were following a precedent set by men like Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Paul Revere, Nathanael Greene, Ethan Allen, &c?

If you are in fact a legit hooman bean desirous of registering yourself a CF user name so as to be able to comment only to find yourself caught up as collateral damage in one of my irregularly (un)scheduled sweeps for hinky registration attempts, please shoot me a kite at the email addy over in the right sidebar and let me know so’s I can get ya fixed up manually.

ALSO NOTE: You MUST use a valid, legit email address in order to successfully register, the new anti-spam software I installed last night requires it. My thanks to Barry for all his help sorting this mess out last night.

Comments appear entirely at the whim of the guy who pays the bills for this site and may be deleted, ridiculed, maliciously edited for purposes of mockery, or otherwise pissed over as he in his capricious fancy sees fit. The CF comments section is pretty free-form and rough and tumble; tolerance level for rowdiness and misbehavior is fairly high here, but is NOT without limit.

Management is under no obligation whatever to allow the comments section to be taken over and ruined by trolls, Leftists, and/or other oxygen thieves, and will take any measures deemed necessary to prevent such. Conduct yourself with the merest modicum of decorum, courtesy, and respect and you'll be fine. Pick pointless squabbles with other commenters, fling provocative personal insults, issue threats, or annoy the host (me) and...you won't.

Should you find yourself sanctioned after running afoul of the CF comments policy as stated and feel you have been wronged, please download and complete the Butthurt Report form below in quadruplicate; retain one copy for your personal records and send the others to the email address posted in the right sidebar.

Please refrain from whining, sniveling, and/or bursting into tears and waving your chubby fists around in frustrated rage, lest you suffer an aneurysm or stroke unnecessarily. Your completed form will be reviewed and your complaint addressed whenever management feels like getting around to it. Thank you.
