Pure opposition

For its own sake, and nothing whatsoever else.

vittorio
@IterIntellectus

most political issues nowadays can be explained by understanding that american leftists dont have positions, they have oppositions.

their entire belief system is defined by negation of whatever the right supports.
this is why portland chants “free maduro” while actual venezuelans celebrate in the streets.
they’re not pro-venezuelan or pro democracies, or pro tyrant, or pro maduro, they’re simply anti-american-right.

they’ve outsourced their worldview to institutional narratives for so long that genuine self-reflection would require questioning everything.
for them it’s much easier to just oppose. the beliefs arent coherent because they were never meant to be coherent. they only need to signal tribal membership, and leftist membership is gained by opposing the right.

trump does X?
the left screams and cries because they wanted Y

trump does Y?
the left screams and cries and riots because even if they said they wanted Y, what they meant is that X was the way to go

trump cures cancer?
they’ll argue that the cancer cells are alive have a right of free determination

trump saves lives?
they’ll protest because somehow those lives didn’t matter and should have been ended

no coherent word model. no logic. pure opposition

at some point you just have to stop engaging with it as if it’s a real political position. it’s not. it’s aesthetic opposition wearing the costume of ideology

And the followup:

the tell is they always speak FOR populations who overwhelmingly disagree with them.
“free palestine” from people palestinians would hate.
“free maduro” while venezuelans celebrate.
the pattern reveals the game
it was never about the people, it was about the posture

Yet another reason, as if any more were needed, why the D卐M☭CRAT criminal organization masquerading as a political party needs to be forcibly disbanded, legally proscribed, and destroyed utterly. At the very least, they should be ignored completely, treated as if they are invisible, and if/when they take their “protest”-theater productions out into rush-hour traffic, they should be run over and left bleeding in the street until the garbage truck arrives to shovel up the remains and haul them off to the landfill.

As has been demonstrated again and again and again, Leftists have nothing constructive to say, nothing useful to offer, and nothing needful to contribute. They are parasites; as such, our society has no obligation to tolerate them any longer.

Further thoughts update! These worthless skinbags firmly believe several things which are NOT in evidence:

  1. That they are the smartest people in the room, no matter who else is in there with them
  2. That they are paragons of moral virtue
  3. That they are courageous, caring “warriors” for fairness, decency, and true justice
  4. That we lesser breeds should admire, respect, and honor them for their innumerable virtues, acknowledge their clear, God-like superiority to all other mortals, and do our best to emulate their sterling example

In praise of meat

Or, in this benighted day and age, it might be more appropriate to say “in DEFENSE of” etc etc. Which, as the title of the article shows, the author knows well enough.

In Defense of Steak: Listen to Your Body, not the Bug People
There is a particular smell that quiets a room or backyard: beef hitting heat, butter melting, fat crackling over open flame. Conversations pause. Children wander closer. Adults become very present, childlike in their eagerness. Something ancient has briefly reclaimed priority.

This response appears across cultures, centuries, and cuisines, persisting despite decades of scolding lectures about moderation, sustainability, and restraint. No one salivates at the thought of cricket flour. No one waxes poetic about lab-grown protein slurry. Even people committed to eating less meat tend to speak about steak the way one speaks about a lost love. We are told this reaction, this anticipation of pleasure, reflects indulgence, weakness, or conditioning, but a simpler explanation exists.

Pleasure can be information.

Indeed so, and there’s every bit as much solid, useful information in this piece as there is pleasure in eating a fat, juicy filet mignon. For example:

Meat is often treated as interchangeable with whatever happens to meet a protein target, as though nourishment were merely arithmetic. This misses what meat actually is: an exceptionally efficient nutritional delivery system shaped by evolution to meet human needs with minimal friction.

Animal protein arrives complete, providing all essential amino acids in proportions the body immediately recognizes and uses. Absorption is high. Muscle repair is straightforward, using precisely the amino acids our meals just provided. No pairing, combining, or supplementation is required. Fat, so long maligned, provides stable saturated and monounsaturated fats that slow digestion, stabilize blood sugar, support hormones, and carry fat-soluble vitamins. Speaking of fat, humans did not spend thousands of years figuring out how to obtain more fat because it was harming them.

Then there are the nutrients rarely discussed in fashionable debates but central to human function: vitamin B12 for neurological health, heme iron that the body absorbs efficiently (iron in supplements or vegetables is poorly absorbed), zinc for immune function and growth, creatine and carnosine for muscle and brain performance, choline for liver and cognitive health. These are not optional extras. They are foundational for good health and a properly functioning body.

Claims that humans do not “need” animal protein hinge on a technicality. With careful planning, supplementation, fortified foods, and modern logistics, it is possible to assemble these nutrients without meat. That is not equivalence. It is compensation. A diet that requires constant vigilance to avoid deficiency is not revealing a hidden natural balance; it is leaning heavily on modern intervention and often industrially manufactured frankenfood.

I repeat: indeed. Butbutbutbut…but…WAIT, they whine. What about Eating Ze Bugs, shitlib fascists snivel. Wilson outs paid to that codswallop with a quickness.

Insects are often presented as the logical successor to meat, reduced to the claim that they “contain protein” and are therefore interchangeable. Biology is less accommodating.

Insects contain chitin, the substance that forms their exoskeletons, which humans do not digest well. Chitin inflates protein numbers on paper while reducing absorption in practice because it resists breakdown and in fact interferes with nutrient uptake. From a nutritional standpoint, counting chitin as protein is a bit like counting fingernails as food: it contains nitrogen, which looks impressive on a label, but the human body cannot do much with it. Edible, yes. Nourishing, not really.

Digestive discomfort after eating bugs is common enough that most insect products are heavily processed into powders, undermining both nutritional and environmental claims. Amino acid profiles vary widely by species, but they all tend to be lower in key amino acids such as leucine, which plays a central role in muscle maintenance and repair, particularly as people age.

Micronutrients present further problems. Vitamin B12, heme iron, and creatine are unreliable or absent, requiring supplementation to compensate. Allergy risks are also underplayed, as insects share protein structures with shellfish. Insects are edible, certainly, but edible is not the same as optimal, and bug protein is not in any way an upgrade over beef, chicken, or fish.

Annnnnd bingo, there you have it. Myself, I don’t give a fiddler’s fuck about how smart the person telling me to switch from steak to cricket paste thinks he/she/it is, I simply ain’t gonna do it.

There’s only one song I can think of that will suit.

Tell it true now, Jim.

“Your world means nothing to them”

Makes us even, I suppose; their world means nothing to me. Less than, actually.

Jean Raspail, mass migration, and the meaning of civilisational surrender
Your world means nothing to them. They won’t try to understand. They’ll be cold. They’ll be hungry. They’ll build a fire with your lovely oak door… Every object will lose the meaning you attach to it. What’s beautiful won’t be beautiful anymore.

In 2015, German Chancellor Angela Merkel famously declared “Wir schaffen das” (“We can do this”) as she opened Germany’s borders to a mass influx of refugees. Over a million asylum-seekers, mainly from Syria, Afghanistan, and Iraq poured into Europe amid the continent’s worst refugee crisis since World War II. Supporters hailed Merkel’s open-door stance as a humanitarian duty, but critics warned of economic strain, cultural clashes, and security risks. In the decade since, Europe has indeed grappled with rising migrant crime and social tensions. But beyond the high-profile incidents of violence, everyday indignities have also come to symbolise the cultural disconnect.

One striking example occurred in Brussels, a migrant was caught frying eggs in a pan over the Eternal Flame at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, a memorial honouring Belgian soldiers fallen in World War I. Just weeks earlier, another migrant had been arrested in Paris for lighting a cigarette using the sacred flame under the Arc de Triomphe. Such acts of casual disrespect, unthinkable to the native population fuel public outrage and raise questions about the boundaries of tolerance in European societies. The Brussels incident, in particular, became a viral image on social media, seen by many as a metaphor for how Europe’s heritage and heroes are treated by newcomers who “have no business” being in those countries. While some observers chalk it up to individual homelessness or ignorance, others view it as a grim sign of cultural insensitivity fostered by years of unvetted mass immigration.

These episodes of desecration, however low-level, provoke a visceral reaction because they touch on something deeper than law-and-order. They reflect a erosion of respect for European history and identity under the pressures of uncontrolled migration. It is as if the “eternal flame” of Europe’s memory is being used as a mere campfire by those with no connection to the sacrifices it represents. This sense of humiliation is keenly felt by many Europeans, especially when they remember that countless young men died in the world wars to defend the very civilisation now seemingly taken for granted. Indeed, if those fallen soldiers could see a foreign vagrant cooking his dinner on their memorial flame, would they think their sacrifice was worth it?

To ask the question is to answer it, methinks.

These are merely the opening ‘graphs of a damned excellent (albeit highly discomfiting) article, of which you will definitely want to read the all.

I’ve had an eBook copy of Camp of the Saints sitting on my phone for a good long while now. It occurs to me that I really need to get started reading the darn thing, I’ve waited quite long enough. Key takeaway lines:

Beyond politics, Raspail’s novel and Europe’s real migrant tensions both underscore a fundamental cultural clash. The clash is not simply about religion (though Islam’s spread in Europe is a major factor) but about worldviews, nations and social norms. Camp of the Saints suggests that our civilisation is not communicable to these people, that many of the newcomers neither understand nor respect the ethos of the West.

By George, I think she’s got it. “Not communicable to these people,” though? Oh, I’m afraid it’s a great deal worse than that: it is anathema to them;. Not only do they not “respect” Western Civ, they positively abhor it as innately and irredeemably degenerate, wicked, and outright evil.

What’s the big idea?

Vivek Ramalamaswamabamadingdong has some peculiar ideas of his own.

As it’s our final show of the year, I’d like to keep it a little more focused than usual – and concentrate on the existential question now facing some of the oldest continuous states on earth: what is a nation? At AmFest and in The New York Times, Ohio gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy returned to his contention that America is an “idea” and, if you’re onboard with the “idea”, you’re as American as anybody else. One might formulate the “idea” as a “dream”, as Vivek does:

It is called the American Dream for a reason. There is no Canadian Dream. There is no British Dream. It sounds kind of goofy to say it. There’s no Chinese Dream, okay?

There is, however, a Somali Dream – of moving to Minnesota and opening a state-funded daycare.

On the right one can find opponents of all this dreaminess, but Vivek has no time for them and is reading them out of the movement:

I think the idea of a heritage American is about as loony as anything the woke left has actually put up. There is no American who is more American than somebody else.

So a Daughter of the American Revolution is no more American than the daughter of a Minneapolis daycare owner. This would come as news to the fellows who wrote the Preamble to the US Constitution in order to “secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity”. Which, oddly, seems to be how the Somali fraudsters look on it, if you substitute “Blessings of Public Funding” for “Liberty”.

One notes that America rose to global dominance during Calvin Coolidge’s four-decade immigration “pause”. Since then, alas, the US has been busy not only “proposition”-ing itself into a one-way ticket on the oblivion express, but exporting that proposition to the rest of the west’s hitherto conventional “ethno”-states (a qualification that should not, strictly, be necessary), to the point where countries no one thinks of as “nations of immigrants” are about to see their native peoples dispossessed of their ancestral homelands – Sweden and Austria, for example.

Meanwhile, in the United Bleephole, Keir Starmer made it his “priority” to bring “back” to the country a “British” “citizen” who had been gaoled in Egypt for the crime of …well, I’ll let Sir Keir, a man entirely without irony or self-awareness, explain it…

Follows, a truly spectacular blast of multiculti Tourettes from Blightey’s all-time worst PM, after which Steyn picks up the thread again.

The “Briton” in question is a man who believes in the “extermination” of white people, which is apparently no obstacle to all the most eminent white people, from beloved “national treasures” – Bill Nighy, from Love Actually; Judi Dench, M from the Bond films; my old Loose Ends colleague Stephen Fry – and all the most deservedly reviled “right-wing” Conservatives – Sir Iain Duncan Smith – demanding he be brought to England to live at public expense.

It would be rather funny, don’t you think, if his “extermination” of white people began with those listed above…but, if it goes as it usually does, I expect he’ll get you instead.

And should you show fight or attempt to resist in any way, you will be bunged into chokey for the duration, after which the entire episode will be whitewashed, swept under the Establishment rug, and studiously forgotten—by the media, by the cops, by the government, by your neighbors,  by pretty much EVERYBODY, really.

This is the round-robin process by which shithole countries become shithole countries, see.

Nope, you’ll bend over and take your medicine without complaint if you know what’s good for ya, chum, or, y’know, else. It’s the same old story, with the same old denouement, namely:

To repeat: in the next decade-and-a-half, there will be nothing recognisable as the western world absent the deportation of tens of millions of people.

And as we all already know, the Western world will just have to grin and bear it, because said mass deportations—although eminently justified, appropriate, lawful, and reasonable—ain’t ever gonna happen. Seriously, people, how could they, when the selfsame maefactors responsible for bringing them in would also be responsible for booting them out?

In the end, we’re left with the same old conundrum, as expressed in another spot-on Steynism which posits that this mishegas isn’t any kind of mistake, misfire, or miscalculation. No, this is how things are because this is how our Lords and Masters WANT them to be. It isn’t merely happening to us; it’s BEING DONE to us—on purpose, with malice aforethought.

Update! Ace has plenty more on the execrable Starmer’s pet “cultural enricher,” and it’s every bit as bad as you’d expect, maybe even worse.

The UK just welcomed back a true Cultural Enricher who had previously been arrested in Egypt.

The UK actively campaigned for his release and his return to England.

The man routinely calls for the murder of Jews and “colonialists” of all kinds as well as for more “suicide bombings” and more murders of police.

He routinely declares how much he hates “white people” and how they, get this, need to be killed and dominated.
Oh and he also declared his intent to “take over ur towns and rape ur women.”

But I mean that’s obviously just a “joke,” as he says now. No Muslim migrants would ever take over British towns or rape British women. Obviously he’s just being satirical or something.

As is his wont, Ace’s mordant wit is astute enough, piercing enough, to incline me to just go ahead and laugh along with him. But in a very real sense, there’s nothing whatsoever funny about the situation.

Updated update! From the last Xweet Ace includes in his post:

NEWS: Egypt are planning to revoke the citizenship of Alaa Abd El-Fattah so he will be stuck in the UK

Sources inside the Egyptian Government have said this is to embarrass Keir Starmer and warn Britain not to pressure Cairo over human rights-related cases in the future

HUH. Kinda interesting, no? Looks like our own perfidious Powers That Be aren’t the only ones working a plan here.

Vichy GOPers get RESULTS

Just not ones anybody much wants.

Minnesotans Complained to RINO Congressman Years Ago About Somalis. This Is the Response They Got.
Back in 2023, the Republican Conference in the House of Representatives nominated Rep. Tom Emmer (RINO-Northwest Somalia) to be speaker of the House. Once and future President Donald Trump, however, was less than pleased with the prospect of Emmer as speaker, and said that the “globalist RINO” from Minnesota was “totally out-of-touch with Republican Voters.” Trump worked hard against Emmer’s bid to be speaker, and when Emmer dropped out of the race, Trump took a victory lap, saying: “He’s done. It’s over. I killed him.”

Emmer wasn’t quite politically dead; he didn’t become speaker, but he did become House Majority Whip, a position he still holds. Nevertheless, Trump was right. Emmer was indeed totally out of touch with patriotic voters, as he showed when embattled Minnesota residents tried to bring him their complaints about the massive influx of Somalis into the state. Now that those Somalis have perpetrated a multi-billion-dollar welfare fraud scheme, Emmer’s callous indifference to their concerns looks even worse than it did when he first  yawned in the faces of his worried constituents, and chided them for not being more open to diversity.

The Daily Caller reported Monday that back in July 2015, Emmer hosted a town hall event in St. Cloud. Before a packed house in a local bar and grill, one of Emmer’s besieged constituents told the globalist RINO that most of the attendees were there in order to “find out how you feel about assimilation of immigrants.”

The man pointed out the obvious fact that everyone is ignoring, telling Emmer: “We did not ask for those Somalis. Nobody asked us if we, in St. Cloud, want those Somalis. And we understand that social groups, like the Lutheran social service and the Catholic charities, they’re dumping them in areas like St. Cloud.”

That was worthy of a careful and respectful response in itself, but the man continued on, asking Emmer: “OK, and so the question is, how many more are coming? We didn’t ask for these people. Everybody that you read about is talking about this. So that is a main issue in this city. There is no control. The people have no control over any immigration. The mayor doesn’t. I don’t know.”

This was ten years ago, when it was still taken for granted that those who expressed opinions that dissented too sharply from the left’s agenda would be publicly shunned, deplatformed, and silenced. The idea that someone could object to an inundation of unvetted migrants from a jihadi hotspot was still inconceivable in the minds of establishmentarians, and Tom Emmer is and was nothing if not an establishmentarian.

And so Emmer responded to these perfectly reasonable questions and concerns by pushing back against the alleged racism of the questioner. The Minnesota resident must have been suspicious of the Somalis because he was white and they were brown, right? After all, what other possible reason could (he) have had to be suspicious? Emmer went on to insist, in all-out don’t-believe-your-lying-eyes mode, that Somalis were one of “the fastest-assimilating populations.” This prompted groans from his audience, with one man summing up what no doubt many people there were thinking: “Oh, you gotta be kidding me.”

Pure politics as usual…and purely despicable. How much longer will Real Americans allow these reindeer games to go on?

Sarah Hucklebee Sanders to anti-Christian dickweeds: GET BENT

The TRUE meaning of Christmas is telling officious, whiny shitlibs to crawl up an armadillo’s ass and die.

Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders was feeling the Christmas spirit this week as she gave state employees a generous gift. She announced she would be closing state offices on Friday, December 26th, extending a nice four-day weekend to the state’s employees to spend with their families and celebrate the birth of Jesus.

The birth of Jesus? She can’t say that! She’s a governor.

At least according to the Scrooges at the Freedom from Religion Foundation (FFRF), an atheist nonprofit organization that, in their words, works to keep state and church separate.

Sarah’s e-mail really got the agitated atheist’s tinsel in a twist.

The angry elves at FFRF couldn’t let this stand, and they jumped into action, pounced, if you will. They sent a letter to the Governor demanding that she rescind the statement, claiming it violated the First Amendment’s Establishment Clause. Going even further, they demanded that she no longer use her office to promote ‘Christian Mythology’ as truth.

Next, this happened.

Y’know, her dad would’ve benefited tremendously from a lot more of his daughter’s backbone and feistiness back when he was in politics.

“Please know that I will do no such thing.” Epic! Also, LEGEND! I think I maybe came in my pants a little just now.

Two enemies, one rule

Moslems, like Leftists, will not stop. They will have to BE stopped.

Australian Counter-Terrorism Police Ram a Vehicle Containing Five Islamic Men Heading Towards Site of Sunday’s Hannukah Slaughter
—Ace

Authorities believe two cars loaded with Islamic men were headed to the scene of the Hannukah slaughter to commit further terroristic violence.

They rammed the car because, it is reported, they believed they had to stop the car immediately.

Nota bene that the article Ace links and excerpts is extremely careful to not use the words “Moslem” or “jihad,” not even once. Admittedly, I didn’t bother reading the whole thing, so maybe that omission wasn’t deliberate and the author mentions those things eventually. However unlikely that might be, of course.

Ace goes on to make another salient point:

The two terrorists had ISIS flags — Islamic State flags, that is.

Nothing to do with religion, huh? The actual terrorists say different.

Sure, sure, but Heaven forfend that we ever take the murderous swine at their word. As the Vichy GOPers always bleat, that would only bring us down to their level, making us every bit as bad as they are.

A Xweet or two:

“Of Asian descent,” eh? Why, how very British of you, limpdick. The Force dissembling and evasion is strong with this one. Another, authored by a more honest, forthright individual.

That last line is all too true, and totally disheartening.

When “random”…

Ain’t.

A Lot of “Randomness” About
Some readers have wondered why I have not commented on the weekend shooting at Brown University. That’s chiefly because I have no insight into the event you haven’t heard from others:

The loss of a child offends the natural order. The loss of a child at Christmas taints the season for what’s left of a parent’s life. We know the murder of Sarah Beckstrom at Thanksgiving was a direct consequence of government policy whose terrible costs do not fall on those who impose it. Why Ella Cook was killed we cannot yet say. However, her fellow victim has now been named:

The second victim of the Brown University shooting has been identified as 18-year-old Mukhammad Aziz Umurzokov.

After brain surgery at age 10, he always dreamed of becoming a neurosurgeon, which is what he was studying for.

So a rare public conservative on a left-wing campus and a young man called Mukhammad are killed in the classroom of a Jewish professor. Any or none of those could be relevant factors. Alternatively, it could be some other motive – or no motive at all. Just the rotten luck of the draw. I hope we shall find out, but – thanks to the usual clown-car of forty-eight different municipal, county, state and federal “law-enforcement” agencies – the murderer remains at large.

A shitshow of a dumpster fire of a trainwreck of a dog’s breakfast of a shit-circus all around, then—no more nor less than what we’ve come to expect in Amerika v2.0 these days, sad to say.

Escalation

Ahh, le mot juste.

Encore, mes amis.

Pentagon Escalates Investigation into Sen. Mark Kelly for ‘Serious Allegations of Misconduct’
The Department of War (DOW) is escalating its review of Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ), a retired Navy captain, to an official command investigation into his participation in a video dubbed “seditious” by President Donald Trump and War Secretary Pete Hegseth.

Hegseth called the video “despicable, reckless, and false,” calling Kelly, Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI), and Reps. Chris Deluzio (D-PA), Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA), Maggie Goodlander (D-NH), and Jason Crow (D-CO) the “Seditious Six” in a social media post:

While four of the other participants in the video are former military, Hegseth explained that they are not “retired” so they “are no longer subject” to the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ).

“However, Mark Kelly (retired Navy Commander) is still subject to UCMJ — and he knows that,” the secretary stated. “As was announced, the Department is reviewing his statements and actions, which were addressed directly to all troops while explicitly using his rank and service affiliation — lending the appearance of authority to his words. Kelly’s conduct brings discredit upon the armed forces and will be addressed appropriately.”

The investigation could result in further actions, including recalling Kelly to active duty status to initiate “court-martial proceedings or administrative measures,” the DOW said.

Do it. Slap the half-bright boob so hard when he stops rolling, his clothes will be out of style. Y’know, pour encourager les autres.

Sense made, truth told

Thereby provoking hysterical shrieks of OUTRAGE!!!™ from guess who.

Sen. Tuberville Says ‘Islamists’ Are ‘Here to Conquer,’ and Great Pearl-Clutching Ensues
After the Bondi Beach attack in Australia, as well as reports that the Brown University killer screamed “Allahu akbar” as he opened fire, and the ISIS murder of two American servicemen in Syria, and the Muslim student at the University of Delaware who plotted a jihad massacre of campus police, and all the rest, the nation is paying more attention to Islamic jihad in recent days than it has in quite some time, and Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.), for one, has had quite enough.

Tuberville wrote Sunday: “Islam is not a religion. It’s a cult. Islamists aren’t here to assimilate. They’re here to conquer. Stop worrying about offending the pearl clutchers. We’ve got to SEND THEM HOME NOW or we’ll become the United Caliphate of America.”

Okay, you want to tell him, or should I?

This was guaranteed, as Tuberville might put it, to offend the pearl-clutchers, and indeed, there was great clutching of pearls throughout our fair land. Sen. Ed Markey (D-Pack the Court) fired back: “These are hateful lies. Islamophobia has no place in our society. MAGA Republicans should stop spewing the kind of hate that divides us and foments violence.”

California State Senator Scott Wiener (D-Depravity) wrote in the same vein: “It’s unwise to respond to every dumb a** bigoted thing people say on the internet, but when a United States senator — albeit the dumbest United States senator — calls for denaturalization & deportation of an entire religion, you have to call it out as the evil it is.”

Not to be outdone, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-Would You Like An Olive?) added: “The normalization and acceptance of Islamophobia in our politics is disgusting. Our Muslim neighbors are not Republicans’ scapegoats for antisemitic attacks and Trump’s failed policies. We must absolutely condemn Islamophobia loudly and hold those perpetuating it accountable.”

Plainly, before we begin booting out the Moslems we’re gonna have to rid ourselves of the Leftards.

It’s Robert Spencer, so natutrally you’re going to want to rea∂ it all.

Parasites

And, as parasites always do, the pAntiFa variety is going hell-bent for leather to kill off its host. In fact, that’s for all intents and purposes the characteristic that defines them as parasites and not, say, symbiotes or something else more or less benign.

Here is a pamphlet that is being distributed by the insurgents (pdf warning, but it’s hosted here) at ANTIFA and BLM. It’s called “Why we break windows.” Here is an excerpt:

property destruction is an effective tactic. From the Boston Tea Party to the demonstrations against the 1999 World Trade Organization summit in Seattle, property destruction has been an essential part of many struggles. It can pressure or punish opponents by inflicting an economic cost.

You know what else punishes opponents who would break my shit? Bullets. That doesn’t mean that shooting people is a valid form of discussion or protest. Then the rationalize it thusly:

Shop windows represent segregation. They are invisible barriers. Like so much in this society, they simultaneously offer a view of “the good life” and block access to it. In a polarizing economy, shop windows taunt the poor with commodities they cannot afford, status and security they will accumulate so much wealth at everyone else’s expense. In this situation, never attain. For millions upon millions, the healthy food, medicines, and other goods they need are the breadth of an entire social class away from them, a gulf they will not cross in a lifetime of hard work—a gulf represented by half an inch of plate glass.

Property rights are anathema to commies. They don’t want to work for it, but they want it. So they take it. At the end of the day, that is socialism and communism is- the theft of goods and services, wrapped up in a pretty bow. That’s why so many who espouse these theories imagine themselves as sitting around writing shitty poetry while other, less educated and intelligent folks, slave away in the gulags.

Follows, DiveMedic’s pithy thoughts as to what might be done:

Still, I am not here to psychoanalyze their behavior. The point of this post is twofold:

  • To show that there is no discussion, reasoning, or changing the minds of those who are trying to overthrow our very way of life, and
  • To point out that there is only one way out of this, albeit with two possible outcomes

This is the reasoning that they give for breaking windows:

It is not a coincidence that shop windows have been targeted in protests against police violence. Businesses, be they multinational or local, are the tax base that pays for police, and without police they would not be able to addressing protests directly to the police is oblique, for the police answer to business owners and politicians, not to public opinion. It is much more direct to target their bosses, the capitalists themselves. Cost them enough money in smashed windows, and maybe they’ll think twice about what kind of policing they call for.

They are wrong. The police aren’t there to keep the poor people poor. No, the police are there to ensure that the accused receive a free trial. If the police cease protecting society from those who would destroy their property, those who wish to protect their property will simply begin killing those who would destroy and steal their property. The posse rides out in search of the horse thief, then the posse returns with the horse but not the thief.

They sure do seem to be counting on a heck of a lot of assumptions which are not now, nor have ever been, in evidence, don’t they? Fine by me, though; let’s all just see how well that works out for ‘em ere the end.

Johnny One-Note

Australia vows tougher gun laws after Bondi Beach terrorists killed 15 people at Hanukkah celebration

Makes sense. Australia put in tyrannical gun-grab laws almost 30 years ago, virtually guaranteeing that the law-abiding subjects will be disarmed and wholly dependent on the police to protect them.

Right. There are pictures of at least two (female) Australian police officers standing with their hands up near the massacre and one of a (probably female) Australian police office hiding during the shooting.

So of course the tyrants sing the same note as always: we need to crack down even harder on guns!

And of course there is no word of expelling the demographic which is by far the most likely to perpetrate massacres (and rapes and one-off murders).

Australia’s leaders are either too stupid to understand crime statistics or they are deliberately inflicting the invasion on their disarmed populace.

If they’re stupid, then they should not be allowed to manage their own finances or other adult decisions.

If they’re doing it deliberately, then they’re traitors and should be executed.

Spicier and spicier

I must say, I find this one VERY encouraging.

Is Ireland About to Erupt Into a Civil War Over ‘Illegal Immigration’?
Official details surrounding the alleged rape of a 10-year-old Irish girl by a 26-year-old “asylum seeker” are murky due to a system that protects not only the victim, but also the alleged predator.

Most of the details in the case that have been officially revealed are procedural ones, like court dates, sanity tests for the accused, and physical and mental health assessments for the victim.

The public reaction to the rape, however, provides a little more context, given that the Irish citizenry is reacting to what they know even if authorities aren’t releasing confirmed details.

Within 48 hours of the crime and for several nights, violent protests flared up around the City West Hotel, which is a large former hotel that has been transformed into a migrant center housing 2,000 illegal migrants.

As well they might have. SHOULD have, actually. The crash deployment of literally hundreds of Garda Síochána to protect the predatory animals is as revolting as always (somewhere, Bunny McGarry can’t stop throwing up), but next we get to the encouraging part of this all-too-familiar story.

Protesters waved green, white, and orange Irish national flags. Some chanted, “Get them out, get them out,” which Fox News reported was centered on the shelter’s residents. The protesters threw empty glass bottles and bricks. They discharged fireworks. They pointed lasers into the cockpit of a police helicopter. And two protesters on horseback tried to breach the police line.

The local police commissioner, Justin Kelly, apparently unaware that the American media redefined what a “peaceful protest” is during the Black Lives Matter unrest in America in 2020, said, “This was obviously not a peaceful protest…The actions this evening can only be described as thuggery. This was a mob intent on violence against Gardaí (Irish police).”

The Irish news media has reported that the suspect in the rape case arrived in Ireland six years ago from Africa. He failed his application to the European Union (EU) for international protection in 2024 and was ordered to be deported in March.

Against this backdrop, a group calling itself the “New Republican Movement” has popped up with a foreboding video it posted online, calling out those in power in Ireland who they accuse of facilitating mass immigration and indoctrination of children in schools.

“Foreboding video,” you say? In a pig’s eye, sez I. Oh, I suppose it might be seen as alarming enough in certain quarters, but said quarters badly NEED some alarming at this point. Myself, I think it’s refreshing.

Good on ye, me brothers. Take it to the sorry sumbitches who have trashed what used to be a beautiful, decent country; make ’em pay for their multitudinous crimes.

Slip of the tongue

Poor old Terry Bradshaw, the nemesis of my beloved Cowboys back in the 70s, has fallen afoul of the Wokester mob.

When a Slip Becomes a Sin: Bradshaw and the Outrage Machine
After watching the clip of Terry Bradshaw’s fumbling of Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s name, I fully expected a chuckle or two from football fans who know Bradshaw has been screwing up names for years.

Michael Strahan corrected him on the air, and Bradshaw moved on.

Anybody with a heart saw it as what it was: a mistake made by a 77-year-old man who has taken enough hits from his playing days to rattle any sets of wires upstairs.

Then, as if on cue, the outrage crowd grabbed the wheel and floored it, filling the platforms with demands for Bradshaw’s retirement, treating his stumble as a coded message about race, as if a bad syllable reveals hateful intent. Critics jumped at the chance to drag a man who gave his body to football, allowing the story to grow faster than the moment deserved.

People talking about Bradshaw now say he’s careless, out of touch, and that the mispronunciation had a hidden meaning.

He was treated like a villain by people who never cared for football analysis; they want the network to throw a 77-year-old man into the nearest ditch over a flub that any broadcaster (or a particular writer who can spell anomaly so much better than I can pronounce it) can make on any day. Hell, even younger analysts trip over names, but they receive grace, while Bradshaw gets a rope.

All this anger isn’t about the name; it’s about the idea that older white men owe perfection when everyone else is allowed to mispeak and get a second, or third, look.

This cultural shift should worry anybody who values fair judgment.

Moreover, it should infuriate anybody with half a lick of sense.

We all know by now what it will take to put an end to this thuggish dumbassery. Unfortunately we’re unwilling to go there as of yet, thus will be putting up with more and more of it as time goes racing by—until some intrepid soul finally grows himself a pair and says, “ENOUGH already!” And, y’know, by-God means it, too.

Echoes

It’s more than just my vanity talking when I say this dude sounds a lot like me.

Apocalypse Now?
I am not prone to doomsday thinking, but neither am I unrealistically optimistic. When President Trump won the election for a second term (against overwhelming odds) in 2024, I understood that the nation had not been “saved” from the radical Left’s destructive policies; we had merely gotten a reprieve. Still, events this year, since Trump 2.0 took office, make me wonder if the polity is too divided, too debased, too indoctrinated, and too detached from “traditional American values” to survive as a democratic republic committed to the rule of law. For the first time in my life, I am concerned about the survival of the United States—not from a foreign threat, but from within.

Blue states and blue cities that had declared themselves “sanctuaries” for the millions of Third World invaders have now become the epicenter of a secession-like resistance to the enforcement of federal immigration law. Democrats’ frantic efforts to demonize, obstruct, and endanger ICE, with the active assistance of rogue judges, amount to an insurrection. Democrats seek to prevent the deportation of, and to grant de facto amnesty to, the millions of illegal aliens who flooded our borders under Biden—foiling our immigration laws. The only possible explanation is that Democrats hope to transform the electorate with Third World detritus, to whom they intend to grant de jureamnesty (and voting rights), thereby ensuring perpetual political control by presiding over the resulting welfare state.

This is not new—indeed, it has been going on for deacdes in California–but I had hoped the American public would rise up and oppose the Democrats’ Kevorkian-like national assisted suicide when it became apparent that importing the Third World was a conscious strategy to ruin America. Just look at the Somali enclaves in Minnesota and the Muslim enclaves in Michigan. They did not happen by accident. The massive influx of illegal aliens with foreign customs, attitudes, and beliefs—unwilling to assimilate and hostile to our culture–erodes the civic glue that binds us together as Americans. Thus, blue city voters elected a socialist pro-Palestinian Muslim as mayor of New York City, and the radical Left’s reaction to the assassination of a National Guard member by an unvetted Afghan refugee in the nation’s capital is to blame President Trump for deploying the National Guard.

Where is the outrage at widespread predation and fraud by foreign invaders?

Isolated in whatever tiny pockets of old-school Real Americanism that still exist, that’s where. Which indicates that the only realistic answer to the question posed in Pulliam’s title is that, much as we may need one right about now, there is in fact no “apocalypse” coming, neither in the short nor the long term.

Apocalypse now? Apocalypse NEVER, more like.

Lots more yet and, grim and depressing though it surely is, you must read all of this one, folks.
