“Global Pushback Against Tyranny Has Begun”

Not a moment too soon.

STORY AT-A-GLANCE

  • March 20, 2021, on the 1-year anniversary of the first COVID-19 lockdown, people in more than 40 countries took to the streets to peacefully demonstrate against COVID-19 lies and tyrannical measures
  • Mainstream media have near-universally censored any news of this global demonstration. Those that did report it either understated the global nature of the event and its attendance, or misrepresented the intent of this “Worldwide Freedom Day”
  • The intent behind Worldwide Freedom Day was to tell our elected officials and unelected global leaders that we withdraw our consent to unconstitutional overreaches and attempts to strip us of our rights and freedoms, and that we will no longer submit to and cower in fear
  • The PCR test is at the heart of the COVID-19 scam. Without the PCR fraud and the asymptomatic spreader lie, the COVID-19 pandemic would have been a short-lived blip
  • Lies have been able to stand through the implementation of universal censorship of anyone who speaks truth and points out the scientific fallacies that drive the pandemic narrative. With these psychological tools, they manufactured the greatest hoax the world has ever seen

As Dr Mercola says, chances are you didn’t hear a peep from Chattel Media about any of this. But that’s only to be expected; they’re footsoldiers of the 1st Propaganda Division, more dedicated than most of the other units in The Enemy’s TOE.

What if…?

As if further proof were even needed.

So let’s imagine that somehow, integrity rules the day, and both states under audit produce rock-solid proof that the election in their states was stolen; what then? Technically, nothing. Arizona had 11 electoral votes and Wisconsin had 10. Together they represent 21 electoral votes and Joe Biden was declared the winner by 74 votes. In order for anything to change there must be a difference of at least 38 votes flipped from Biden to Trump.

But let’s say even one of those states produces demonstrable proof of election fraud. At that point the Republican legislatures of other battleground states that exhibited strange activity on election night… Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Michigan would be under a great deal of pressure to look into the integrity of their own elections. Suddenly, with an additional 52 electoral votes in play, things look a bit different.

Let’s further assume that the legislatures of Georgia and Pennsylvania determine that there was sufficient fraud in their states to flip the state’s vote to Donald Trump. With Arizona and Wisconsin, those states would bring the total to 57 electoral votes flipped from Biden to Trump, changing the totals to 249 to 289 and leaving Trump with a majority.

What then?

Guess. Go on, guess. I triple-dog dare ya. STRONG HINT: Nothing. More precisely: Nothing we don’t make happen ourselves.

Once the fraud has been demonstrated, America is going to find itself in a situation where it doesn’t appear that there is any Constitutional remedy in place. Are Americans simply supposed to acquiesce to the theft and allow the fraudulent president to be the actual president for the next three years?

It’s what The Power expects us to do, certainly. We’ll see before a whole lot longer how that works out for them.

What can be done when the Constitution doesn’t address a bastardization of the constitutional process? Does a military junta take control and put Donald Trump back in the Oval Office? Umm… No! Does the 25th Amendment somehow come into play? No, because that would not remedy the situation. Does Biden resign? Unlikely, and again, it wouldn’t remedy the situation.

A Convention of the States as outlined by Article V of the Constitution? Maybe, but that’s a long process and would likely not occur within the timeframe of the next election.

How about a shadow government? Does Donald Trump build a replica of the Oval Office at Mar-a-Lago and show the world what a real president would do in whatever circumstances the imposter president finds himself in?

Do true patriots take to the streets and use violence and intimidation to wreak havoc from sea to shining sea the way BLM and Antifa did last year, and maintain it until the Democrats capitulate?

None of those ideas is an ideal solution. An ideal solution would essentially reverse the inauguration of Joe Biden and inaugurate Donald Trump as the rightful president.

When, in this life, has there ever been an “ideal solution” to anything, pray tell? Knowing that, why would any serious, reasonable adult waste a moment of his time imagining that one might be found, in a situation as far from “ideal” as this one?

Many pundits are suggesting that Republicans should dig deep and focus on 2022, both at the local and the state level so that the GOP can take back the House and the Senate. While that’s true, it’s not sufficient because it doesn’t address the fraud in the first place.

What a laugh. It’s a fool’s hope, a pathetic and cowardly attempt to avert one’s eyes from unpleasant reality—akin, in a way, to a child stuffing his fingers in his ears, closing his eyes tight shut, and looudly singing “tra-la-la-la-la” to make the monsters under the bed go away and leave him alone. In this case, unfortunately, the monsters are all too real. Trusting that the self-same brazen mountebanks who corrupted the system in the first place will see the error of their ways, repent of their flimflammery, and make things right is worse than a waste of time.

If it’s possible to steal the presidency with impunity, what office in the nation is beyond reach? The simple answer is none, and that matters because the government has police power and once the Constitution becomes superfluous, the coercive powers of government suddenly have no limits. And for those who say that the Constitution still stands, the Constitution is nothing more than a piece of paper. It is the citizens’ loyalty to that Constitution and the system built upon it that make it work.

Annnnd bingo, there we have the hard nut of the matter. We were warned—explicitly, repeatedly, and presciently—by the Founders that dropping our guard against tyranny would bring us to this awful place. They were correct. We must hope that enough of us are worthy of their heritage to turn this dismal tide.

No “need”

Answering the wrong question.

Why I Need an AR-15

Any time someone asks why anyone would “need” an AR, or any other firearm, the only proper way to respond is: Because fuck you, that’s why. If your interlocuter persists, the correct followup is: Mind your own fucking business, asshole. The next step is to ostentatiously pull the charging lever back and put the weapon into battery, all with the fiercest glare on your face you can muster.

The idea of anybody “needing” anydamnedthing at all is the ugly knock-on effect of letting the Constitution slip slowly down the drain and away. In a nation with a 2A in force and functioning, if questioned about “why you need” an AR, AK, or what have you, the only argument you need to make is Because I want one, that’s fucking well why. “Need” is completely beside the point, or it oughta be.

Because fuck you, that’s why. Full stop, end of story, get on with your busy day. A more polite way to put it:

I don’t need an AR-15 for hunting: It’s not even legal to take a deer with one in my state—the caliber is too small. I also don’t need an AR-15 for self-defense, though I’d want to have one if someone broke into my house. And I certainly don’t need one just because it’s a beautiful piece of engineering. I need an AR-15 because the government doesn’t want me to have one.

There are only two forms of government: One where the people are afraid of the government, and one where the government is afraid of the people. Whoever has the weapons is the ruling class, and there is only one case in all history, only in America, that the ruling class has actually been the common man.

Every action taken by the federal government has one purpose in mind: To protect the government from its citizens by transferring power from those citizens to the government. It is a striking and horrifying fact that, in this eternal quest, criminals and the government are in perfect alignment. Criminal acts of a certain magnitude are necessary in order to make emergency government measures plausible.

The real problem is that a government with a monopoly on force might do anything. They might respond to your home-schooling plan by confiscating your children, as happened in Germany. They might jail you for making an offensive joke on your Facebook page, as happened in Britain. They might use a pandemic to force you to close your business indefinitely, as happened in New York. A man disarmed by his government is not a citizen—he’s a subject.

The question regarding dangerous weapons is not whether it’s safe for citizens to own them, but whether—or why—we might consider it safe for the government to own them. When the FBI descended on Waco, they managed to kill more people in one day than the most prolific serial killer they ever caught had killed in his whole career. The Branch Davidians at Waco were actually gun dealers and were well-armed, but of course the FBI brought a tank. The FBI should not have had a tank to bring.

The current administration in Washington, D.C. is not elected and is not legitimate. As if confirming this fact, they’ve surrounded themselves with barbed wire and soldiers carrying machine guns. In so doing they implicitly acknowledge the danger posed—to them—by an armed and angry population. An AR-15 is not just a tool of last resort: It is a declaration that the last resort exists, a reminder that there are outer limits to the abuse of power.

Only if those limits are enforced. It is in the nature of all government that, eventually, their encroachments will expand until the people must choose: either they’re willing to defend their rights by force of arms, or forfeit them until such time as they are. Liberties unclaimed are liberties undefended; liberties undefended are liberties lost, and “last resorts” that are voluntarily abandoned are last resorts without teeth, and therefore do not effectively exist…except as the posturing, pointless machismo of slaves.

A hard man is good to find

No, not THAT kind of hard, you filthy-minded perverts.

America Needs Her Hard Men
Reasonable Americans and decent and sane humans in general naturally prefer peace over any violent environment in society, and although one should always strive to preserve the peace, peace isn’t worth a damn if it’s preserved at the expense of individual liberty, especially through coercion, threats of retaliation, and violence from the foot-soldiers of an opponent and a regime that governs and manipulates the mechanisms and processes of “the law,” through diktats and tyranny and outside the normal rules and understanding of established law.

We are in the middle of a cold civil war that’s on the verge of turning hot in rapid fashion, by way of the Democrat’s hard-left push through Joe Biden’s executive orders and Big Tech and the Marxist/Maoist Cancel Culture proletariat in the streets and academia. As it grows more successful with each passing day, it drives America into a new, ruthless, tyrannical, socialist structure, largely due to the useful idiots and the Marxist tools in the ranks of the Millennials, seventy percent of whom find communism to be an acceptable alternative to capitalism.

Full of a desire to exact vengeance from Conservative America for a litany of delusional and fallacious reasons, Joe Biden and the Democratic Party Communists are advancing a grudge-filled aggressive policy toward traditional America and every fine thing accomplished by Her people since our War of Independence and the Founding of America. They hate all that America represents across the span of history and the immense expanse of America’s Flyover Country where Her patriots are found.

Anyone who accepts the premise that violence can never be the answer to tyranny, as recently suggested by Trevor Loudon in his May 26th Epoch Times article, is already permanently defeated and a prisoner of his own cowardice.

Loudon writes:

“Violence will not save America…[continuing four paragraphs later to say]…the Second Amendment must be preserved at all costs. An armed populace is at least some check on tyranny…Americans should keep their guns and work everyday to ensure they never have to use them against their own people.”

It’s endlessly amusing how daintily such ninnies just mince right on by the simple fact that American independence was won by violence. Is there perhaps some treaty or agreement that grants a populace some kind of once-and-only-once bye for securing their liberty and rights using violence, after which it automagically becomes inconceivable and just wrongwrongwrongWRONG to ever dream of defending said rights in similar fashion against an increasingly oppressive government? We admire the Founders for their incredible courage, yet imagined that we’d be exempt from showing similar backbone ourselves? ‘Cause I don’t remember hearing anything about that at ALL.

One should recall that in December of 1776, with General George Washington and some 2000 fighting men braving a bitter cold in the face of a superior numbers and a small pox epidemic, Thomas Paine wrote:

“These are the times that try men’s souls; the summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.”

America faces a similar crisis today, and truth be know, given our situation, our Founders would already have been shooting by now, and that’s no exaggeration.

America needs something far superior to Her summer soldiers and sunshine patriots, those self-described “happy warriors” who are more interested in fighting for deregulating businesses, lower capital gains taxes or paying out American tax-dollars to fight foreign wars, against the advice of our Founders, rather than fighting the real and necessary wars right here for the preservation of freedom and liberty for all Americans. For the real fight for liberty at home, America needs Her hard men willing to do the hard tasks to defend U.S. and individual sovereignty, traditional America and its heritage and all that means — men who will not fade in the fight but will stand firm and true to their last dying gasp should it be asked of them to go so far.

No one is suggesting running right out this very minute or hour and starting the next full-blown, hot civil war. Certainly, we must see if there is any way left to find a peaceful path forward, even though it does look highly doubtful, once one considers the current mission and platform of the Democratic Party is nothing less than the full destruction of the United States Republic, to be rebuilt in the image and vision of Marx and Mao. And with that in mind, if one cannot even hint that a day and a time may soon arrive that demands a righteous and violent armed response in defense of all that America is founded upon, then I suggest the cowards should go ahead and cower and die, with their heads stuck in their nether regions, while the rest of us pick up our rifles and prepare to fight for traditional America and the restoration of real freedom and liberty.

In the 2A phrase “the right to keep and bear arms,” the keeping isn’t the critical part; it’s the bearing that truly matters. Should we shrink from making good on the threat the 2A hints at, we won’t be keeping arms very long—or much of anything else, really. We must always remember that, and never allow The Enemy to forget it either. Letting our would-be masters get themselves a good look at the arms the Constitution explicitly protects from time to time, up close and personal, could be a very good thing in the long run—not just for us, but for all concerned. If something along the lines of a parade through Mordor On The Potomac by 2A supporters—a totally peaceful, calm, non-belligerent march right down Pennsylvania Ave, say, with arms shouldered and fully in view of one and all—had become an annual tradition long ago, I very much doubt we’d be in anything like the trouble we now are.

Walking and chewing gum at the same time

This one’s for Ironbear.

Dr Karlyn Borysenko is one of the foremost experts when it comes to Critical Race Theory, and she took to Twitter today to call out Conservatives like Matt Walsh and The Daily Wire for caring more about trolling AOC than actually fixing a serious problem like Critical Race Theory in schools.

Here’s her Twitter thread calling out Walsh and The Daily Wire for their stunt:

You know, the whole Matt Walsh thing is just so indicative of what conservatives want.

They want people who will make their most hated politicians look foolish, even if they change no minds or convince anyone of anything.

That’s it. That’s all they care about.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard of conservatives influencers being offered a chance to actually DO something…and they refuse.
You guys are DMing me names right now…”Karlyn have you reached out to this person or that person, they’ll help”….and every single one of the names is a grifter that knows full well about the case and won’t do anything.

They know that all their followers care about is them whispering the same sweet nothing talking points in their ear, and being outraged by the right subjects and screaming about AOC being a liar….that’s all their followers want.

They show this with their actions.

If you don’t want to support people who are actually solving problems, then don’t be surprised when you have the same ones year after year after year.

But you’ll hear Matt Walsh complaining about them on his show, so I guess it’s ok.

BTW, AOC is going to win year after year after year. She’ll win as long as she wants to.

And Matt Walsh will love it because that will give him years of complaining and pranks where he doesn’t change a single person’s mind or accomplish anything of substance.

She then followed up with the damning indictment against Conservatives:

“I’m actually starting to become completely convinced that conservatives WANT critical race theory in schools because it will give them an excuse to complain about socialism all the time.”

This is a serious problem within the Conservative Movement. What gets you clicks and video views is to “destroy the libs.” That’s what has made Charlie Kirk and Ben Shapiro famous. However, just as my good friend Dr Bobby Lopez has repeatedly stated, these trollers of the Left aren’t actually fixing any problems. They are just building up their brands.

Well hey, no reason we can’t do both, right? Troll the libtards; deride them, laugh at them, bait them; humiliate and/or annoy them; all while we go on jousting with them over specific, ground-level issues as well?

Meh. At this point, it’s all just dicking around while we wait for the shooting to start. “Fighting” against CRT, lawsuits, protests and rallies, and all the rest only amount to busywork as far as I’m concerned—something to occupy us before it all goes pear-shaped. The author closes thusly:

So instead of dropping $499 to troll AOC, why not put your money where your mouth is and support a cause that can actually create a positive change in our society. Everyone is talking a great game when it comes to CRT, but where’s the follow through?

“Positive change in our society” won’t be created until some indeterminate number of pAntiFas, Black Lies Murder goons, and other traitorous miscreants both high and low have assumed room temperature due to their CLDS (Chronic Lead Deficiency Syndrome) being corrected. Nothing else is going to be sufficient, sad as it is to have to say. It’s the only “follow through” that matters. Until such time, it’s all just entertainment, nothing more.

Evergreen

Francis commends our attention to a rather brilliant 1994 (!) exposition by Sam Francis which, unfortunately, will live forever, its relevance undiminished.

On the morning of September 22, 1993, a law-abiding citizen named B.W. Sanders was driving his car down the street in Raleigh, North Carolina, when all of a sudden he found himself flagged down by a policeman and presented with a ticket for $25. Mr. Sanders, it turned out, had not been wearing his seat belt, and under a new state law, that crime carries the penalty he received. But in this case it was not just a traffic cop who flagged down Mr. Sanders. It was a force of some six dozen police officers as well as the governor of North Carolina himself, James B. Hunt. The governor was searching for a photo-op with which to advertise both the new seat belt law and his own personal devotion to law-and-order. Not only the 70 or more police officers but also an innumerable supply of newspaper reporters and TV newsmen were on the scene to record the governor’s triumph over the forces of lawlessness, and the next day Mr. Sanders’ wicked ways were recorded in the public press for his family, his employers, his neighbors, and indeed posterity to gander at. To make doubly certain that criminals like Mr. Sanders got the message loud and clear, Governor Hunt held a news conference near the state capital and harangued a crowd of some 150 police officers and state troopers, who were able to take time off from the apprehension of public enemies like Mr. Sanders to attend the governor’s words. “I took an oath to protect the people of North Carolina,” intoned the Tar Heel State’s answer to Dirty Harry, “and this is one way we must do it. . . Folks, we’re serious. We mean it. We’re going to do this.” And indeed, serious he is. As part of the war on the unbuckled seat belt crisis, the Raleigh News and Observer reported, “Law officers in all 100 counties [of the state] will intensify their efforts to find and cite motorists not using their seat belts. Agencies will compete against each other, winning cash for turning in the best performance.”

Governor Hunt’s grandstanding might be harmless enough were it not for certain other facts about certain other crimes in North Carolina that also sometimes make the news. Only a week before the apprehension and public humiliation of Mr. Sanders, the same newspaper reported on the state’s prison crisis. It seems that North Carolina has another new law in addition to the one on seat belts. This other law, passed by the General Assembly, imposes a cap on how many inmates can be incarcerated in the state prison, and the crisis is that, under this cap, most of the inmates now eligible for parole were imprisoned for violent and assaultive crimes. Most of the less dangerous criminals have already been turned loose, and now the prison system must release public enemies even more dangerous than drivers who do not buckle their seat belts. Since last June, no less than 14 parolees (including one of the men now charged with the murder of Michael Jordan’s father) have been arrested and charged with murder, and another parolee, a veteran of the state’s death row, murdered his girlfriend and then committed suicide, thereby unfairly depriving Governor Hunt of yet another photo-op. Last August alone, North Carolina paroled 3,700 prison inmates. One might think that if the governor of the state and the 150 police officers and state troopers who took time out of their public jobs to listen to him slap himself on the back for busting poor Mr. Sanders were really interested in upholding their oaths of office, they might turn their attention to the results of releasing hardened and violent criminals who have already been caught, sentenced, and imprisoned.

But the saga of the Napoleon of Crime in the homely person of B.W. Sanders is not an isolated incident. It is a representative tale that illustrates what I take to be an entirely new form of government, one that as far as I can tell is unique in human history and unknown to political theory, ancient or modern. Probably no other society has failed as dismally as the United States in the late 20th century to meet the basic test of any civilization: to enforce simple order and protect the lives and property of its members. History knows of many societies that have succumbed to anarchy when the central government proved unable to control warlords, rebels, and marauding invaders. But anarchy is not quite the problem here.

In the United States today, the government performs many of its functions more or less effectively. The mail is delivered (sometimes); the population, or at least part of it, is counted (sort of); and taxes are collected (you bet). You can accuse the federal leviathan of many things—corruption, incompetence, waste, bureaucratic strangulation—but mere anarchy, the lack of effective government, is not one of them. Yet at the same time, the state does not perform effectively or justly its basic duty of enforcing order and punishing criminals, and in this respect its failures do bring the country, or important parts of it, close to a state of anarchy. But that semblance of anarchy is coupled with many of the characteristics of tyranny, under which innocent and law-abiding citizens are punished by the state or suffer gross violations of their rights and liberty at the hands of the state. The result is what seems to be the first society in history in which elements of both anarchy and tyranny pertain at the same time and seem to be closely connected with each other and to constitute, more or less, opposite sides of the same coin.

This condition, which in some of my columns I have called “anarcho-tyranny,” is essentially a kind of Hegelian synthesis of what appear to be dialectical opposites: the combination of oppressive government power against the innocent and the law-abiding and, simultaneously, a grotesque paralysis of the ability or the will to use that power to carry out basic public duties such as protection or public safety. And, it is characteristic of anarcho-tyranny that it not only fails to punish criminals and enforce legitimate order but also criminalizes the innocent. At the same time the governor of North Carolina grotesquely fails to uphold his famous oath to protect the citizens of his state by keeping convicted felons in prison, he has no problem finding the time to organize a massive waste of his time and the taxpayers’ money to hound and humiliate a perfectly innocent citizen for the infraction of a trivial traffic law.

In fact, we criminalize the innocent all the time in the United States today—through asset seizure laws that confiscate your property even before you’re convicted of possessing illegal drugs; through mandatory brainwashing programs designed to reconstruct your mind with “sensitivity training,” “human relations,” and rehabilitation if you display politically incorrect ideas on certain occasions; through prosecuting people like Bernhard Goetz who use guns to defend themselves; and through gun control laws in general. Under anarcho-tyranny, gun control laws do not usually target criminals who use guns to commit their crimes. The usual suspects are noncriminals who own, carry, or use guns against criminals—like the Korean store owners in Los Angeles or like Mr. Goetz, who spent several months in jail after picking off the three hoodlums who were making ready to liberate him from life and limb.

Indeed, the government response to crime is by far the best illustration of anarcho-tyranny. On the one hand, police forces are better equipped, better trained, and more expensive than ever before in history. Police routinely use computers, have access to nationwide information banks, and carry weapons and communication gadgets that most tyrants of the past would drool over. Yet the police seem utterly baffled by the murder rate. None of their high-tech whiz-bang helps much to catch serious criminals after they have struck, to stop them before they strike, or to keep them off the streets after they are caught. But while the police cannot do much about murderers, rapists, and robbers, they are geniuses at nabbing less serious lawbreakers. They can crack down on tax-dodgers and speeders, jaywalkers and pornography patrons, seat belt nonbucklers and epithet-emitters, gun owners and graffiti-scratchers.

Obviously, such desperate characters are not the reason decent people are scared to walk the streets at night, and no matter how many of them you put in the pokey, civilization and the order it is based on will not survive unless you control the streets. Under anarcho-tyranny, the goal is to avoid performing such basic functions as stopping real crime and to think up purely fictitious functions that will raise revenue, enhance the power of the police or bureaucrats, and foster the illusion that the state is doing its job. The victims of these new functions and laws are precisely, otherwise, law-abiding and innocent citizens. It’s easier and more profitable to enforce the law against the marginal lawbreaker than against those habitually committed to spreading mayhem.

As you may have gathered from the length of my excerpt, this remarkable tour de force is indeed, umm, expansive, shall we say. Nonetheless, Francis somehow manages to keep a tight, laser-like focus on his premise from start to finish; yes, there’s a lot to digest here, but there’s not a wasted word or phrase in it. Another thing to take note of: every last one of the issues Francis cites as examples of creeping anarcho-tyranny is still being used as by our lords and masters today, as justification for another turn of the one-way ratchet, another tightening of the leash.

Worse yet, as familiar as these issues will seem to you, do not fail to note that, likewise in every single case, the “problems” the promoters of anarcho-tyranny claimed to be attempting to “solve”—street crime and public safety; murder; urban chaos and decay; auto-accident deaths; etc—have either held steady or actually gotten worse.

Ahh, but even back then there were shining glimmers of light and hope occasionally—demonstrations of the put-upon citizenry taking matters into their own hands out of sheer desperation, yielding positive results. Exhibit A:

Yet there are signs that some Americans are not buying into the lie of anarcho-tyranny. At least as far as crime and personal safety are concerned, some are awakening to the ancient lesson of republican government, that in order to govern yourself politically you must first be able to govern yourself personally and morally. And, that lesson means assuming responsibility for your own protection. For months in 1987 in Detroit, citizens complained to the police about teenage prostitutes from a crack house in the neighborhood who solicited old men and adolescents on the street, about drug dealers firing guns in the air for fun, and about a shoot-out between drug gangs while neighborhood children played in the street. Not once did the police respond to any of the repeated calls. Then one day after the shoot-out, two local men named Angelo Parisi and Perry Kent walked up the street, set fire to the crack house, and burned it to the ground, and within minutes police arrived to charge them with two counts of arson and assault with a deadly weapon. With community support, both men were acquitted by a jury of all charges, and there are stories similar to theirs in other American cities.

Good on ’em. With things having gotten so very much worse, such examples appear to be ones worth learning from, even emulating as and where feasible. Not that I would ever advocate such brazen vigilantism, of course. Not so’s anybody could tell, I wouldn’t. Francis’s piece closes thusly:

Mr. Parisi and Mr. Kent, Miss Quigley and Mr. Penso, have discovered the dirty little secret that can sweep anarcho-tyranny out of office, that anarcho-tyranny flourishes only when citizens surrender their rights and their duties of protecting themselves, assuming responsibility for themselves, and governing themselves, and that when the anarcho-tyrants promise to take over and perform these duties themselves, they are uttering a lie that leads to slavery and the jungle at the same time. When anarcho-tyranny flourishes, it protects no one except the elites who fatten on it, and it encourages only the withering of self-government and responsibility. In the movie The Magnificent Seven, the bandit leader, played by Eli Wallach, says of the Mexican peasants he is robbing and killing, “If God had not wanted them sheared, he would not have made them sheep.” The peasants in the end show that they are not sheep, not by hiring gunfighters and killers to do their fighting for them, which is what we do when we set up the BATF and “police saturation,” but by learning how to fight for themselves. Sheep do not need to fight for themselves; they have shepherds who do it for them, until the day comes when the shepherds lead their sheep to slaughter. Only when more Americans learn the lessons these citizens have learned, the lessons the peasants in The Magnificent Seven had to learn, and only when they are willing to act on those lessons will anarcho-tyranny itself wither away; only when Americans take back their own streets themselves will they have any streets that are safe. In the words of Lord Byron, “Who would be free, themselves must strike the blow.”

Even as dark as things look today, even though certain specifics of our own admittedly dire situation are in truth unique, really, t’was ever thus. The struggle between liberty and tyranny, between those who would live free and those who would rule over them, is eternal. It does not end, and will not—cannot, actually. It is part and parcel of the human condition: each new generation must face it, in one form or another.

You need to read all of the Sam Francis article, natch, but you also don’t want to miss Porretto’s repost of an oldie but goodie of his own devising, which makes a danged suitable companion piece.

Enemies, domestic

Wait, whut?!?

SINGAPORE — The United States imported a rare cargo of 1.033 million barrels of Iranian crude in March despite sanctions on Iran’s energy sector, data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration showed.

The cargo is only the second oil import by the United States from Iran since late 1991, data on EIA’s website showed.

Let’s cut to Jim Hoft for a perspective-enhancing review.

You cannot lead a country when you hate its people so much that you would rather import oil from a wicked terrorist regime than allow American workers to produce that same product.

Joe Biden’s first action as president was to shut down construction of the Keystone Pipeline and eliminating an estimated.52,100 American jobs in the process.

Canceling the Keystone Pipeline costs over 11,000 construction jobs and 42,100 jobs throughout the US during the construction process according to the US State Department.

Then in May Joe Biden and his handlers waved  American economic sanctions on Russia in order to streamline construction on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline to Germany.

And then, this happened.

The Biden Administration will suspend all oil and gas contracts in Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge amid rising gas prices.

The national average price of gas per gallon in the US is $3.045 as of Tuesday, June 1.

Gas prices have spiked in Southern California to $6 per gallon.

Joe Biden is now freezing all oil and gas contracts in Alaska’s Arctic Refuge after canceling the Keystone X pipeline.

Recall, in a last minute push, the Trump Administration in late 2020 moved to auction off drilling rights in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

The Enviro-Nazi left went berserk over Trump’s push to open up drilling in the region and now Biden is freezing all leases.

Hey, remember back when we were energy-independent there for a brief spell, with prices at the pump edging down towards the two-bucks-a-gallon range, even lower? Good times, good times. Now—after killing Keystone and throwing tens of thousands out of work, just before a servile polishing of the Russian knob for their OWN pipeline project—the people making the Biden puppet’s lips move have us illegally importing oil from a fanatical Mooselimb enemy. Not just any old Mooselimb enemy, either; the “Death To America!” bunch, no less.

Unbelievable, unacceptable, intolerable. I’m speechless, people. If you think these loathsome pricks aren’t actively trying to harm the country, tell me what they’d be doing differently if they were?

Murder, Inc

Is it time to start killing them back yet?

The communist antifa and Black Lives Matter, Inc. mobs have now elevated their war footing against western civilization and have begun deploying head hunting death squads it appears. What else can you call it?

On Friday, May 28, the usual black masked mobs slithered “like water” – their favorite phrase for staying hidden and moving from cops  – to hold another planned riot and torching in “grief-stricken” homage to the anniversary of their George Floyd riots.

Antifa called it an “anniversary event” and Portland Police begged the mob to be nice.

Local weekly newspaper, Willamette Week, reported that Ngo was on the antifa hit list because of his “willingness to post the mug shots and other personal information of arrested protesters [that] caused many of the people in Portland’s leftist movement to see him as something like an existential threat.”

Remember when newspapers used to post mug shots? Before the mob take over, antifa and BLM riots mug shots were de rigueur in the media. Now, they’re an apparent invitation to beating any reporter including them in a story.  Reporters like Suzette Smith of Willamette Week and at least one reporter over at the alternative weekly The Mercury appear to be all-in with the mob.

Ngo writes in his book, “Unmasked: Inside Antifa’s Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy,” that a Mercury reporter put out intel on where he was located during a riot presumably so the mob could find him and beat him like they had before.

Find him they did, and beat him they did too.

Friday’s march concluded around 11:30 pm without much fanfare. Word began to spread that Ngo was in the crowd—disguised and wearing a Black Lives Matter flag around his shoulders.

A group of five to 10 people in identity-obscuring clothing called “black bloc” followed the person they suspected of being Ngo for blocks, inquiring who he was. At one point, the person they pursued said his name was Jake. In front of the AC Marriott, the group tried to unmask the unknown man. He ran for blocks until someone in the pursuing group tackled him—at Southwest 4th Avenue and Morrison Street—and punched him several times after his head hit the brick sidewalk.

A nearby man holding a skateboard admonished the group, saying that their quarry looked like he’d “had enough.” However, when someone nearby shouted that the person they were assaulting was Ngo, the skateboard-carrying man changed his attitude, swearing and joining the group.

When the fleeing man took shelter in The Nines, he appeared to be pleading with staff. “They’re going to kill me,” he said.

At midnight, Portland police arrived at The Nines on bicycles, along with a riot van, and made at least one arrest. As of Saturday morning, police had not released any information on the incident.

Alarmingly, Ngo has gone missing.

Ngo’s Twitter timeline has been dark since the incident.

Ngo did not respond to my requests for comment over the weekend and again on Monday.

Antifa and BLM began their attacks in Portland in 2016 by attacking Mike Strickland, a YouTuber and reporter, who posted videos of them on his Laughing at Liberals channel.

The first attack on Ngo occurred two years later. The beating by antifa and BLM mob members sent Ngo to the hospital with a brain injury.

In September 2020 an armed “antifa security” lay in wait for a conservative Trump supporter and assassinated him at point blank range on the streets of downtown.

A reminder now that antifa and BLM tried to do the same to Kyle Rittenhouse in Kenosha, Wisconsin during riots there. Rittenhouse was armed, though, and killed two of his armed attackers and wounded another.

The time for benefit of the doubt and pulling punches is over. It’s long past time the political, civic, and business leaders who run Portland to stop this before the next political assassination on their streets.

Whyever would you expect them to start now, pray tell? Have you not seen enough at this point to finally admit the ugly truth: that pAntiFa, BLM, and the rest are the Demonrat Party’s sub rosa street enforcement arm, just as the KKK was years ago? Portland is a city run exlusively by Leftists. Do the math, folks, and get it through your heads: the ongoing Demonrat-endorsed campaign of fascist violence will stop only when the people rise up and stop it themselves.

Yes, the time for pulling punches is indeed over, and not just in Portland either. Now it’s time to start throwing some ourselves—for the side heretofore being pummeled bloody, even murdered, to get busy correcting the imbalance. Our government is in league with our tormenters. Those sworn to uphold the law and protect the innocent have abdicated their duty. As CA has said so many times: there is no help on the way, no gallant knight riding to the rescue. No one is coming to save us. We’re on our own.

TURNING and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

In the urban shitholes, war has already begun. So far, though, only one side is fighting. We’ll soon see how long both those conditions last.

Leftists: can’t live with ’em, can’t shoot ’em

Yet.

What kind of abysmal social and economic conditions would make at least five separate counties of US voters want to flee a state to join the borders of another state? Well, all it takes is a cult of insane Marxists running the entire state into the ground from the safety of their metropolitan communes while demanding that people submit their undying fealty to the draconian medical mandates of an elitist minority. Yeah, things have to get pretty bad to inspire so many people into leaving and taking half the state with them.

Welcome to Oregon…

The future implications of vaccine passports and economic decline are disturbing, but this is the inevitable result when leftists and collectivists are allowed to gather political and social power. As I have noted many times this year, leftists are the ONLY subset of the population seeking and supporting government dominion over American lives. Not only that, but they have consistently partnered with global corporations that they supposedly despise in order to leverage more power.

They are the only people supporting mass censorship, mob intimidation of those with different political views, mass violence against innocent people and businesses, they supported government lockdowns and extensive violations of the Bill of Rights, and now they are supporting vaccine passports which would destroy all personal liberty in this country for all time.

Am I falling into a “left/right” paradigm trap here? Are things just as bad in conservative red states? Why not take a look at a red state like my home of Montana?

Which he does, confirming every single thing you would expect of any honest comparison. Then:

The fact of the matter is, the left/right paradigm is a reality. The political elites at the top of the pyramid have no loyalties to either side, but regular people at the bottom of the pyramid are indelibly separated. The proof is in the actions of blue states vs red states.

Much discussion has already been had, both here and elsewhere, about the inaccuracy or even irrelevancy of terms like Left/Right, liberal/conservative, socialism/communism, &C, but those arguments are merely semantics, and not really worth having. Whichever label you prefer, it’s clear enough where the division is, who is on which side, and the intentions and goals of each side. The lines have been drawn; each player has chosen their team. There’s only one meaningful distinction to be made now, one last choice before us: resignation, or resistance?

Perhaps there are many Democrats out there who do not necessarily agree with the cultism of social justice warriors. Maybe they don’t support the unhinged thirst for vicarious control that vaccine virtue signalers display. But if they don’t support it they are not saying much about it out loud. This is indeed about sides, and “moderation” at this point is a joke. One side is supported by real science, the other side is ignoring the science for the convenience of their ideology. One side is clearly right, and the other side is clearly wrong.

Conservatives want to be left alone, and leftists want to dictate the lives of others. Conservatives are for freedom, and leftists are not. There is no debating this any longer. The question is, which side are you on?

Actually, no. Anybody who doesn’t know by now is so politically oblivious as to have effectively taken themselves out of the equation as unserious and peripheral non-participants, thereby rendering themselves unworthy of further consideration by those who are serious and engaged. No, the question at this late date is really: what, if anything, are we going to do about it?

It ain’t just here, it ain’t just us

The other night, I said:

My own view, which shifts on the regular these days, is that if the current middling-temperature conflict ever DOES go full-on hot, the form it will most likely take will be sabotage, monkey-wrenchery, and shoot-and-scoot sniper activity, perhaps even scattered small-unit raids undertaken by people with the training and experience to pull it off.

And then this happened.

Hundreds of troops from Belgium, and beyond, have now thoroughly searched a vast area in the country where a fugitive soldier armed with highly dangerous weapons is believed to be hiding. However, no trace of him has been found.

A well-trained sniper from the Belgian army, Jurgen Conings, who has combat experience in several war zones including Afghanistan, Iraq and Lebanon, disappeared on Monday. Having reportedly left life-threatening notes to several top officials, the 46-year-old man is believed to have taken several anti-tank missiles, a submachine gun and a handgun with an ability to pierce bulletproof vests from his unit’s ammunition depot. He himself is believed to be wearing the vest.

Conings is now a “terrorist suspect,” according to Belgian media. The federal prosecutor’s office has been investigating him for “attempted murder and illegal possession of weapons in a terrorist context,” the VRT broadcaster reported. Authorities also believe the suspect has not been “acting on impulse,” but is rather well-prepared.

Throughout the week, some 400 Belgian troops, from both the army and the police, have been rigorously searching the Hoge Kempen National Park in the Belgian province of Limburg. Helicopters, armored cars and trucks were deployed for the manhunt, while hundreds searched the nature reserve meter by meter equipped with thermal cameras. Forces from Germany and the Netherlands have been mobilized, as the area where Conings is believed to be hiding borders these countries. Dutch special units are also on standby on their side of the border in case the man tries to cross.

A number of mosques in the Limburg province have closed, local media reported, due to the heavily armed man’s known far-right extremist views.

Note the bold. You will be seeing this material again.

Earlier, a car belonging to the suspect was found. The military man, who had also been training other soldiers for foreign missions, has reportedly booby-trapped his vehicle with four rocket launchers inside. A grenade with a set of wires linking it to the car’s doors are said to have been discovered. There have also been reports that Conings left his service medals on his parents’ grave, with sources suggesting he did it on Tuesday.

Looks like “rather well-prepared” might have understated the case a mite.

Conings’ girlfriend, Gwendy, is reported to be the one who alerted the authorities to her partner’s disappearance on Monday. She reportedly discovered several letters left behind, with local media quoting Conings as writing he “could no longer live in a society where politicians and virologists have taken everything away from us,” so he “would join the resistance and would not surrender.”

If being enraged enough by the installation of de facto tyranny to take concrete steps against the “politicians and virologists” who did it—and they most certainly did do it—is now a “right-wing extremist” view, well hey, I’m a-okay with being considered a right-wing extremist mydamnedself.

Doomed by diversity

A peek at the state of the union, and where it might be leading.

Is there no limit to the racial, religious, ideological, political, cultural and ethnic diversity the nation can accommodate before it splinters into its component parts?

In professions of religious belief, atheists, agnostics and secularists have become our largest “congregation,” followed by Catholics and Protestants, both of which are in numerical decline.

Diversity of faiths leads to irreconcilable, clashing opinions about morality on the most divisive social issues of our era: abortion, homosexuality, same-sex marriage, etc.

Racial diversity, too, is bringing back problems unseen since the 1960s.

America was almost 90% white in 1960, but that figure is down to 60% and falling. In 25 years, we will all belong to racial minorities.

Are we Americans still united in our love of country? Do we still take pride in what we have done for our own people and what America has done for the world in the 400 years since Jamestown?

One of you guys wanna break the news to him, or should I? Just kidding; it’s Pat Buchanan, and he already knows.

Some look at Western civilization as 500 years of colonialism, imperialism, genocide, slavery and segregation — practiced against people of color. This is the source of the West’s wealth and power, it is said, and that wealth and power should be redistributed to the descendants of the victims of Western rapacity.

For many, equality of opportunity is no longer enough. We must make restitution, deliver reparations and guarantee a future where an equality of rewards replaces an equality of rights.

Something is seriously wrong with a country that professes to be great but whose elite cannot abide the mildest of heresies to its established truth.

There’s not a damned thing wrong with the country that couldn’t be fixed toot-sweet by just ridding ourselves of the craptastic old elite and replacing it with a better one, really.

“We remind you that you are not safe”

Know thine enemy, and never, EVER make the fatal mistake of underestimating him.

Starting with the attack on Trump’s inauguration, antiracist violence has become omnipresent in the Trump era. Though only a handful of its actions drew more than passing notice from the largely sympathetic press—those in Portland, Berkeley, and Charlottesville—a partial list of the cities where Antifa thugs have assaulted peaceful marchers and otherwise inflicted mayhem include: Kansas City, Saint Paul, Minneapolis, New Orleans, Washington, Berkeley, Laguna Beach, Sacramento, Tucson, Portland, Milwaukee, Richmond, Atlanta, Asheville, Lexington, Phoenix, Chicago, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Seattle, Vancouver (Washington), Tacoma and Cambridge, Massachusetts. Many “actions” were on college campuses, and are excluded from this count.

Antifa remains hard to define by traditional terminology. It is not a gang, a political party, or even a national collective. Rather than a readily identifiable organization with a distinct purpose, vision, and leadership, it is a loose confederation of far-left, semi-autonomous cells and individuals in an open-source movement. In a Fifth Generation Warfare environment, these entities unite for specific actions and disband, often connecting only over social media. This phenomenon not only spans the United States, but extends to like-minded groups abroad. Antifa originated in Europe, and its members are united by vaguely articulated but passionately held core beliefs: a commitment to “social justice” in its fluid varieties and an equally intense hatred of capitalism and its practitioners. Its activity ebbs and flows, but its goals remain the same.

Antifa preaches international revolution. Like their comrades elsewhere, the Americans in its ranks have no regard for national sovereignty. Their loyalty is to the religions of anti-capitalism, “social justice,” and, now, fiercely “woke” identity victimology. Crimethinc, one of Antifa’s most popular websites, promotes violence worldwide and has posted videos celebrating the burning of Chilean churches.

I’ve reported both online and on the One America News Network (OANN) about the connections between Antifa and the Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK-YPG), designated a terrorist group by the U.S. government in the 1970s, and responsible for hundreds of bombings, and between 30,000 and 40,000 deaths. PKK has drawn as many as five hundred Antifa fighters to Syria from Western nations, including America. One was arrested after coming home and participating in Seattle’s Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ), and later, planning to attack the Florida capital on inauguration day 2021.

For years I infiltrated Antifa meetings. Through this, I came to understand Antifa’s structure, organization, and strategic intent. Like the Taliban, Antifa operates through localized cells, and both employ an organizing principle intelligence professionals refer to as TTP (Tactics, Techniques and Procedures), which allows for procedures in one place to be followed in another with a minimum of direct coordination. These groups are comprised of innumerable individual groups and operate under a variety of names. Most similarly, despite being small, Antifa’s reach is vast, extending to cities and towns across the country.

Perhaps most chilling is its adherents’ absolute confidence in the righteousness of their cause and their certainty about its eventual triumph. Like the Taliban—and those behind The Terror in Revolutionary France or the Bolsheviks in Russia—it is a belief system that allows not the slightest reflection or hesitation. The most extreme measures and heinous acts are acceptable when done on its behalf.

In fact, they are so secure in their beliefs (and so confident of not being fully exposed in today’s media and civic environment) that they rarely bother to hide them. A year before the summer 2020 riots, a New York Antifa member identifying herself as Maura blithely explained to a CNN reporter why she and her comrades felt no hesitation wreaking havoc on private property—and against those with whom they disagree. “Violence against windows,” she scoffed, “there’s no such thing as violence against windows. Windows don’t have—they’re not persons. And even when they are persons, the people we fight back against, they are evil. They are the living embodiment, they are the second coming of Hitler.”

Antifa’s leading academic apologist Mark Bray, an assistant philosophy professor and author of Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook (2017), the widely-cited true-believing authority on Antifa’s beliefs and tactics, once noted that Antifa adherents “have no allegiance to liberal democracy… They’re anarchists and communists who are way outside the traditional conservative-liberal spectrum.”

That view is evident in Antifa’s online TTP guide, Black Bloc Tactics Communique, which mocks pacifism and sets out Antifa’s immediate goals:

  1. Increased organization of street fighting force.
  2. Regular physical training in between actions.
  3. Facilitation of pre-emptive strikes.
  4. Preparation for eventuality of intensified state oppression and the shifting of the movement of social protest into that of direct social revolution.

In short, what we’ve seen to date is only a prelude.

As JJ Sefton puts it:

Friday and the Memorial Day weekend is here. The solemnity of that day is no doubt amplified by the fact that those whose blessed memory we cherish gave their lives for a country that no longer exists. Worse, they died to defeat the very same tyranny that their progeny have embraced. The unkindest cut of all is the Orwellian blood-libeling of our heroes and leaders as evil and the transmogrification of the actual victims as perpetrators. It’s the moral equivalent of defecating on every grave in every national cemetery and overseas battlefield memorial. Honestly, I have no more tears; I have only anger. The magnitude of my loathing for what has been done is beyond my capacity to put into words. If there is a G-d in Heaven, one day all of this will be avenged, and this stain will be expunged from the face of the earth.

Meanwhile, one of the many heads of the hydra are the disaffected, brainwashed youth, dressed in black, hurling Molotov cocktails, bricks, cement hate-shakes and their fists at windows, cars and people. While the Democrat-Propaganda Complex certainly benefited from their mostly peaceful pogroms and riots over the past year and even well before that, and celebrate their “anti-fascist” and “anti-racist” spirit of protest, they may be rather surprised to learn they are hated almost to the same degree as their opponents across the aisle in Congress. What Antifa is all about goes way beyond a little rioting and window-breaking. This shit is Killing Fields-level serious. You can mock the freaks with myriad piercings and day-glo colored hair. But the ones who are pushing their buttons – whoever they are – “ain’t no ways thar’d.”

The purple-haired freaks are no more than cannon fodder, useful idiots for the extremely dangerous radicals who manipulate and use them as cover. Don’t let yourself be distracted by this subterfuge, and above all else do NOT dismiss these people with a casual wave of the hand. These are not simply confused or misguided but still basically decent kids who will eventually “grow out of it” here, easily manageable using moderate, compassionate measures. They are not, will not, cannot. The threat they represent is all too real, and must—MUST—be taken seriously.

We’re up against a committed, vicious, and capable quasi-military organization, a force that can neither be ignored nor appeased. This is an enemy that must be met with a merciless resolve, an iron-hard brutality, that exceeds his own if Western civilization as we’ve known it hopes to prevail. And prevail it must; there is no alternative, and no way out. This will be no easy task, no bloodless walkover—not with the very institutions we once could trust and rely on to maintain civil order now effectively in league with the militants, it won’t. Back over to Sefton for the grim denouement:

Antifa and BLM could be crushed inside of a few weeks. The problem is we have no government. We have no real law enforcement or criminal justice anymore. We are political dissidents and internal exiles in what is in essence a foreign country whose culture and society are anathema to our own, and in fact, are in league (albeit for the time being) with the aforementioned terrorists. If that is not 100% the case yet, it soon will be. It’s banana republic time and the only way that Antifa and BLM are going to be neutralized is by private citizens. You read between the lines on that one.

Gird your loins. The storm is nigh upon us, and there’s trouble up the road.

From a simmer to a boil

TL’s latest.

The frustration I heard in the voice of a four-tour force recon vet discharged after a mortar ended his service was undeniable. It was also evident that the insults hurled from a woke mayor in a Texas city had him in a state of calm, but determined resistance. He spoke of the BLM march through the city given a route that went past the “biker bar” section of town as evidence of the taunting taking place across the country by mayors and governors who are determined to get a violent reaction. “We’re not that stupid,” he said.

From someone who has seen his share of death and destruction in the chaotic villages of a war-torn nation, he knows what is being fomented against him and those like him. They want the conflict, just like they wanted to hang the “insurrection” tag on a peaceful protest in Washington D.C. on January 6th. Unlike the woke peaceful protests all summer that were embellished with flame, wrecked buildings and murder, the January 6th peaceful protest saw only instigators (probably infiltrators) breaking a window or two. There is no comparison between the occupation of federal court buildings, looting and burning by those released from jail the day before for the same mischief and a crowd being let into the capitol on the sixth only to further the insurrection narrative.

I asked how we could fix a political system intent on inciting violence against one set of people by another. It isn’t just BLM against bikers, or school systems against parents, or black against white, or Hispanic against Asian, or young against old, or left against right, or gay against straight, or vaxers against anti-vaxers, or mask wearers against mask refusers; it is the intent of government officials to inflame these conflicts to the point of violence that is the concern. His response was a slow shake of the head, a shrug of the shoulders saying what he preferred not to say.

The fact is, there is no D-Day, but rather the slow accumulation of grievances until the load can no longer be carried. His words came back to me over the whole conversation. “We’re not that stupid.” The trouble with combat veterans, like my father (Korea), is they tend to be non-confrontational in such situations, because they can smell an ambush, not because they fear engagement, but half measures won’t suffice and until they are ready to go full-on, all other responses seem tepid, but the rage builds.

This climate is being manufactured. Those who are sure they will win are goading on the conflict. Those who are not sure they will win, refuse to fight at half measure, harming only their families and friends, enraging a brutal enemy without the resolve to complete the mission. What the enemies of the people should be afraid of, if they had any sense, is a fighting force having put it off until there was nothing left to lose, but coming out dedicated to the eradication of their enemies as the only possible solution.

For whatever it might be worth—almost certain to be little or nothing—my own view is that a general, widespread military-style conflict as most people conceive of it is unlikely in the extreme, regardless of how severely the Country Class is provoked. Geo- and demographic realities militate against it, for one thing. Unlike in 1860, the two sides are NOT divided neatly into North and South; for the most part, Team Liberty and Team Tryanny live cheek-by-jowl. In CW v1.0, Johnny Reb in Charleston probably never met a Boston Bluebelly in his entire life personally, and didn’t know a single living soul who had. But today, your average Real American probably has a Kommie Karen or Ken for a next-door neighbor, with plenty more scattered around the neighborhood.

This situation tends to complicate things, as does the simple fact that, unlike in Olden Thymes, the average American middle-class schlub has precisely no (zip, zero, nada) military training or knowledge at all. Hell, most of ’em wouldn’t know the procedure for inserting a loaded mag and putting a semi-auto rifle into battery, much less be able to hit the broad side of a bull’s ass at 20 yards with it. And that’s under quiet, peaceable conditions with nobody shooting back at him. Under fire, his personal prospects would suddenly nosedive from “not too good” level down to “deader” immediately.

Admittedly, Karen and/or Ken next door viscerally LOATHE weaponry and all the other white-supremacist, misogynist, homophobic military-type trimmings that go along with revolution and war, making their odds of survival against even an all-thumbs suburban klutz even longer. So there’s that.

Don’t expect to see any mass-media reportage of any such things either, at least not in the beginning. Possibly not at all, unless the sabotaging and raiding become widespread and successful enough that even a press as heavily invested in the Deep State status quo as ours can no longer keep things swept neatly under the rug.

And once that line is crossed all hell breaks loose. Because the moment the idea sets in with Big Papa Gov’t that they might actually not be winning this thing after all, and their iron-fisted grip on an increasingly broad swathe of the subject-population might be loosening, the US military will be formally called to come out and play. Which also happens to be the moment when all bets are fully OFF—and, as Aesop has said, life as we’ve all known it is over for good, regardless of how things shake out in the end.

Which, of course, is not to say that Real Americans shouldn’t bother trying to regain their rightful liberty, nor to blanch at any and all means of securing it—should instead just swallow their pride, surrender their natural rights, and accept the ignominious destiny of oppression, dependency, and voiceless servitude intended for them. But it DOES help to explain the seeming reluctance of most Normals to take that last irreversible step into the unknown, don’t it? Hamlet wasn’t just whistling Dixie when he wondered:

To be, or not to be, that is the question:
Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them?

Ahh, the eternal question. Even the Founders cautioned against intemperance and recklessness:

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

Every patriot must decide for himself—and soon—where he stands, what he believes. Do the Founders’ words of patience and restraint still apply? Or is the time now upon us when the words that follow them must be our guide?

Heads up

Two tips for y’all that may very well come in useful in the days ahead. First, our old friend Chris Muir recommends that saner, non-Leftwit sorts seriously consider dumping PayPal for Authorize-dot-net.

DBD-Fundie21.jpg

I have no knowledge or experience with ’em myself; I’ll look into it and see what’s up. Having known Chris for many years now, I can tell you folks that I completely trust his judgment and smarts, and figure that any suggestion he makes along any such lines is likely a good one.

Second, entrepreneur extraordinaire Mike Lindell is launching a competitor for Amazon.

Mike Lindell is fighting back!

After he was canceled by retailers, Mike Lindell is starting his own online store: MyStore.com

MyStore is going to rival Amazon, Mike says.

“For years entrepreneurs and inventors have come to me with products and ideas. They don’t know how to market them, and I haven’t had the time to show them,” Lindell said in a video on the (Business Insider—M) site.

“I am going to put vetted products from great entrepreneurs on here, like you see a sampling of them here today, that are going to change this country,” he continued.

“We’re finally going to be able to see these products and be able to get these great entrepreneurs, their great ideas, out to you, the public.”

The site also proclaims that there are “hundreds” of products coming soon, and it includes a link to a form for people to submit applications for “products ready for market.”

Lindell has set himself a truly Herculean task with this venture, and I wish him every success. His “MyStore” can be visited here.

Question everything

The imperative of our era.

There is no problem in the United States that could not be solved if we were still a nation of critical thinkers.  But critical thinking has been intentionally replaced by dogma.  Having a degree is not equivalent to having an education.  Knowing something is not the same as understanding it.  In a world saturated with information, the “key” to distinguishing between truth and falsehood is one question, one word: “why?”

Why should schools and companies discriminate based on skin color? Why should my race say more about me than my brain? Why is it okay for federal immigration law to be ignored while federal tax laws must be obeyed? Why are Americans who defend the Constitution treated as domestic terrorists? Why are Americans who burn down cities treated as heroes? Why does every “solution” to climate change involve the expansion of government powers and the contraction of personal liberties? Why must the government police speech in order to keep it free? Why must government disarm citizens in order to keep them safe? Why is the government so afraid of the people that it must spy on them at all times? Why is it no longer “our government,” but rather the government?

Are those questions dangerous in a “free” society? Of course not. They lead to discussion, which leads to debate, which leads to contemplation, which leads to greater understanding, which creates a more perceptive mind, a more capable American, and a more complete human being. When government deems some questions subversive, it is admitting that it no longer represents the people, but rather rules over them. And any public school system that replaces the tools necessary for developing critical thinking skills with rigid indoctrination countenancing no dissent is producing not healthy citizens, but useful slaves.

The great philosopher George Carlin used to say, “Don’t just teach your children to read[.]…Teach them to question what they read. Teach them to question everything.” That’s how real learning is done — in the trenches with one hand on a flashlight searching for knowledge and the other gripping a shovel, digging up the oft-buried truth. Carlin also knew that when it comes to truth, governments cannot be trusted: “I have certain rules I live by. My first rule: I don’t believe anything the government tells me.” If more Americans could learn this simple principle, our society would be in a much better place. Free people with free minds do not need politicians to do their thinking for them.

The science is settled? The time for debate is over? Never. Only people interested in stealing your agency and capturing your soul say such things. It is our capacity for reason that makes each of us distinct and our distinctive qualities that make each human life individually valuable. When government deems individual minds unnecessary, then individual lives become disposable. That’s when governments do great evil.

Ahh, but what about when government deems individual minds not just unnecessary, but an active, credible threat to their own designs? What’s to be done about government then?

If you are in fact a legit hooman bean desirous of registering yourself a CF user name so as to be able to comment only to find yourself caught up as collateral damage in one of my irregularly (un)scheduled sweeps for hinky registration attempts, please shoot me a kite at the email addy over in the right sidebar and let me know so’s I can get ya fixed up manually.

ALSO NOTE: You MUST use a valid, legit email address in order to successfully register, the new anti-spam software I installed last night requires it. My thanks to Barry for all his help sorting this mess out last night.

Comments appear entirely at the whim of the guy who pays the bills for this site and may be deleted, ridiculed, maliciously edited for purposes of mockery, or otherwise pissed over as he in his capricious fancy sees fit. The CF comments section is pretty free-form and rough and tumble; tolerance level for rowdiness and misbehavior is fairly high here, but is NOT without limit.

Management is under no obligation whatever to allow the comments section to be taken over and ruined by trolls, Leftists, and/or other oxygen thieves, and will take any measures deemed necessary to prevent such. Conduct yourself with the merest modicum of decorum, courtesy, and respect and you'll be fine. Pick pointless squabbles with other commenters, fling provocative personal insults, issue threats, or annoy the host (me) and...you won't.

Should you find yourself sanctioned after running afoul of the CF comments policy as stated and feel you have been wronged, please download and complete the Butthurt Report form below in quadruplicate; retain one copy for your personal records and send the others to the email address posted in the right sidebar.

Please refrain from whining, sniveling, and/or bursting into tears and waving your chubby fists around in frustrated rage, lest you suffer an aneurysm or stroke unnecessarily. Your completed form will be reviewed and your complaint addressed whenever management feels like getting around to it. Thank you.

"There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters."
Daniel Webster

“When I was young I was depressed all the time. But suicide no longer seemed a possibility in my life. At my age there was very little left to kill.”

“A slave is one who waits for someone to come and free him.”

“The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it’s profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater.”
Frank Zappa

“The right of a nation to kill a tyrant in case of necessity can no more be doubted than to hang a robber, or kill a flea.”
John Adams

"It is terrible to contemplate how few politicians are hanged."
GK Chesterton

"I predict that the Bush administration will be seen by freedom-wishing Americans a generation or two hence as the hinge on the cell door locking up our freedom. When my children are my age, they will not be free in any recognizably traditional American meaning of the word. I’d tell them to emigrate, but there’s nowhere left to go. I am left with nauseating near-conviction that I am a member of the last generation in the history of the world that is minimally truly free."
Donald Sensing

"The only way to live free is to live unobserved."
Etienne de la Boiete

"History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid."
Dwight D. Eisenhower

"To put it simply, the Left is the stupid and the insane, led by the evil. You can’t persuade the stupid or the insane and you had damn well better fight the evil."

"There is no better way to stamp your power on people than through the dead hand of bureaucracy. You cannot reason with paperwork."
David Black, from Turn Left For Gibraltar

"If the laws of God and men, are therefore of no effect, when the magistracy is left at liberty to break them; and if the lusts of those who are too strong for the tribunals of justice, cannot be otherwise restrained than by sedition, tumults and war, those seditions, tumults and wars, are justified by the laws of God and man."
John Adams

"The limits of tyranny are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress."
Frederick Douglass

"Give me the media and I will make of any nation a herd of swine."
Joseph Goebbels

“I hope we once again have reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: As government expands, liberty contracts.”
Ronald Reagan

"Ain't no misunderstanding this war. They want to rule us and aim to do it. We aim not to allow it. All there is to it."
NC Reed, from Parno's Peril

"I just want a government that fits in the box it originally came in."
