Potemkin military

The world’s lone most pathetic “superpower.”

Bloomberg is out with a Monday report chronicling the sad state of affairs the US military has found itself in – notably trying to lure eligible recruits from Generation Z with a cartoon series dubbed “The Calling,” which will run on YouTube during May and June.

As Bloomberg notes, “The Army—the U.S. military’s largest service—faces a complex set of problems: the eligible recruiting pool into all military services is small; and the newest generation of prospects, Gen Z, has had almost no contact or knowledge of the military, which has largely fought wars abroad since 2001. The Gen Z cohort grew up with technology, the internet, and social media.”

It gets worse.

According to the report, almost 71% of those aged 17 to 24 – roughly 24 million out of 34 million people – are ineligible to join the military because of “obesity, lack of high school diploma, or a criminal record,” according to Pentagon data.

America’s foreign adversaries must be laughing their asses off.

Oh, you can be sure they are—those of them who aren’t licking their chops, drooling with anticipation at the prospect of gnawing the bones and feasting on the mouldering corpse of America That Was. Personally, I find JJ Sefton’s take the funniest:

Iran is pulling a Michael Corleone on Senator Geary, demanding we let them build nukes and kiss their ass in Macy’s window for delaying that cause these past four years. And as thanks for our obsequious apologies they’re once again using armed speedboats against our warships in the Strait of Hormuz knowing full well that the drag-queen junk-tuckers on the bridge of the USS Harvey Milk will shoot nothing but blanks at them.

Heh. Fret not, though; we’ll never get around to anything as uncouth as shooting anybody, with blanks or anything else. If recent history is any guide, those “junk-tuckers” will doubtless have conned the USS Rump Ranger into a hapless freighter or a rocky bluff long before the shooting stage is ever reached.

Mamalicious!

I’m laboring mightily here to refrain from making the all-too-obvious “MILF militia” crack, really I am. But it’s hard. So, so hard.

Mamalitia.jpeg

All my crass joking around aside, bless these comely lasses for their pluck, their initiative, and their can-do spirit, as laid out in the group’s mission statement:

Mamalitia is a community of constitution loving women that recognize our empowerment comes from fully engaging in our children’s education, our wellness, food and financial sovereignty, and overall skills. We are committed to building the world we want to live in, getting back to our roots while empowering women from every walk of life.

Mamalitia was formed in 2019, and is based in California where the founder saw a need to prepare women during a time of uncertainty. We are a non partisan group of women who support the Constitution and support uplifting other women. We are made up of professionals and homemakers, women trained in natural medicine, business owners, mothers and women who want to learn how to be self sustaining if and when needed.

Our women are trained in how to communicate should we be cut off

Our women are trained in protecting our homes

Our women are trained in how to prepare with food and supplies

Our women are trained in medic skills

Our women are trained in community support

Our women are creating schools

The tyrants have created women who are ready to go like it’s 1776.

In California? You go, girls, and good on ya. Needless to say, Mamalitia being comprised of patriotic, self-reliant, and indomitable sorts, the usual shitlib suspects are all a-snivel:

Triggered leftists are reportedly threatening a group of moms opposed to mandatory vaccines in California who have formed a pro-Second Amendment group empowering women called the “Mamalitia.”

On Sunday, the Mamalitia group announced it would cancel public meet-and-greet events after receiving terroristic threats following media hit pieces which mischaracterized the group as dangerous radical extremists.

“Mamalitia community has canceled all public meet and greet events due to media attacks, irresponsible reporting and false claims that have invited terrorist organizations to threaten our women and children,” reads a press release put out by the group.

Yeah, well, I can think of a really good retort to that kind of nonsense. More than just the one, actually, none of which involve putting up with a second’s worth of shit from the quivering queefs. More, and more pussified:

Dr. Richard Carpiano is a professor of public policy and sociology at the University of California, Riverside who has followed the group and its movements on social media since its founding.

He says Aguilar was in Washington, D.C., in January when a violent coup stormed congress, though there’s no evidence she breached the building.

But she has been seen on social media alongside members of groups like the Proud Boys.

He’s concerned that with this rhetoric some group members could become violent.

“When you’re showing pictures of you with weapons, you are advertising services to train people in firearms. There’s no reason whatsoever to think they’re not pushing some extremist view,” he said.

The article also cited state Senator Richard Pan (also a former UC professor), who claimed the group had bullied and harassed lawmakers.

“Not only did they protest the public health measures but they then employed tactics to bully and intimidate people,” Pan told CBS Sacramento.

I strongly suspect that, in your case, it would NOT be a difficult thing to do, Poindexter. Probably be a lot tougher to AVOID intimidating a “man” like you, in fact. You and the limpid Miss Carpiano sound as if you’d both collapse into a piss-yellow puddle on the sidewalk, hysterical tears copiously flowing, if a medium-sized dog growled in your general direction.

Most peculiar, innit, how the self-proclaimed “feminists”—especially the “male” variety—immediately soil their Underoos at the mere sight of a truly strong, independent-minded woman? I must inquire once more: HOW THE FUCK IS IT that we ever allowed such miserable specimens to take our country from us in the first place?

Didn’t see THAT coming

The French get froggy.

Mister President,
Ladies and Gentlemen of the Government,
Ladies and Gentlemen,

The hour is serious, France is in peril, several mortal dangers threaten her. We who, even in retirement, remain soldiers of France, cannot, in the current circumstances, remain indifferent to the fate of our beautiful country.

Our tricolor flags are not just a piece of cloth, they symbolize the tradition, down through the ages, of those who, whatever their skin color or faith, have served France and given their lives for it. On these flags we find in gold letters the words “Honor and Fatherland”. However, our honor today lies in the denunciation of the disintegration which strikes our homeland.

– Discrimination which, through a certain anti-racism, is displayed with a single goal: to create on our soil unease, even hatred between communities. Today some speak of racialism, indigenousism and decolonial theories, but through these terms it is racial war that these hateful and fanatic supporters want. They despise our country, its traditions, its culture, and want to see it dissolve by taking away its past and its history. Thus they attack, through statues, ancient military and civilian glories by analyzing words that are centuries old.

– Discrimination which, with Islamism and the suburban hordes, leads to the detachment of multiple plots of the nation to transform them into territories subject to dogmas contrary to our constitution. However, every Frenchman, whatever his belief or his non-belief, is at home everywhere in France; there cannot and must not exist any city or district where the laws of the Republic do not apply.

– Discrimination, because hatred takes precedence over brotherhood during demonstrations where the authorities use the police as proxy agents and scapegoats in the face of French people in yellow vests expressing their despair. This while undercover and hooded individuals ransack businesses and threaten these same law enforcement agencies. However, the latter only apply the directives, sometimes contradictory, given by you, the rulers.

The perils are mounting, the violence is increasing day by day. Who would have predicted ten years ago that a professor would one day be beheaded when he left college? However, we, servants of the Nation, who have always been ready to put our skin at the end of our engagement – as our military state demanded, cannot be passive spectators in the face of such actions.

It is therefore imperative that those who run our country find the courage to eradicate these dangers. To do this, it is often sufficient to apply existing laws without weakness. Remember that, like us, a large majority of our fellow citizens are overwhelmed by your dawdling and guilty silences.

As Cardinal Mercier, Primate of Belgium, said: “When prudence is everywhere, courage is nowhere. “So, ladies and gentlemen, enough procrastination, the hour is serious, the work is colossal; do not waste time and know that we are ready to support policies which will take into consideration the safeguard of the nation.

On the other hand, if nothing is done, laxity will continue to spread inexorably in society, ultimately causing an explosion and the intervention of our active comrades in a perilous mission of protecting our civilizational values and safeguarding our compatriots on the national territory.

As we can see, there is no more time to procrastinate, otherwise, tomorrow the civil war will put an end to this growing chaos, and the deaths, for which you will bear the responsibility, will number in the thousands.

Backstory:

A massive group of former and current French military personnel signed an open letter this week warning of the imminent danger posed by so-called anti-racist ideology, and urging French President Emmanuel Macron to work quickly to prevent a civil war.

The letter, published in French magazine Valeurs Actuelles, was signed by 20 former French generals, 100 officers and over 1,000 other military personnel.

It accused the French government of kowtowing to destructive ideologies such as anti-racism and Islamism, which it said were being leveraged for the purposes of sowing unrest in French communities and risking a descent into full-blown civil war.

The signatories expressed grave concern with the government’s push to deconstruct and decolonize its own history in an attempt to placate a growing Islamism that has wracked the nation with violence and argued that radical Islam is being used to subject neighborhoods to dogmatic rules that go against the French Constitution, creating an unconstitutional parallel Islamic state.

Notably, the letter explicitly linked the growing threat of an Islamic insurgency in France with the everyday terror of violent socialist and anti-racist riots that have frequently piggybacked off of the chaos of the Yellow Vest protest movement.

The letter went on to state that anti-racist ideology is actively promoting racial enmity and that its proponents are partisans seeking an all-out race war.

Thankfully for the French, it looks like their military will not fall in line with the tyrannical dictates of social justice dogma, and will step forward should they need to protect the citizens of the republic and their noble traditions.

On all accounts, American leadership might have something to learn from these old soldiers.

Not precisely, no. It’s actually the American people who have something to learn from this inspiring example. As in France, American leadership is the source of the problem, so it’s a different lesson altogether that they need to be taught.

God made Texas so that…

Feel free to complete that dusty old meme any way you like. I’ve had the Republic on the brain all day, ever since seeing last night’s Texas-sized AoSHQ-ONT when I got up this morning. My pick for Best Of Show:

Apparently, I’m far from alone in being in a Texas state of mind today.

According to woke Texas State Historical Association chief historian Walter Buenger, the Alamo is a symbol of “white supremacy.” Some might like for it to be that, but they are a fringe on the left and right extremes, and the facts keep getting in their way. It’s today’s woke history that’s oversimplified and racist. History is as complex as life itself.

Buenger is not a Texas Revolution historian and may not have heard of the Tejanos who died at the Alamo fighting against dictator Santa Anna, his betrayal of the Federalists, his abrogation of the 1824 Constitution, his 1835 proclamation branding those Federalists “pirates” if they lifted a finger to oppose him as he sought to disarm them, or the several other Mexican states besides Texas that rebelled against the hated dictator during the same timeframe. Those facts’ existence violates the revisionist narrative that wokes seek to create regarding the battle that was the crescendo of the Texas Revolution. The life-and-death decisions made by some Tejanos also get in the wokes’ way.

One of those Tejanos was Jose Toribio Losoya. Losoya faced a choice that changed the course of his life and his place in history. He was not alone in that choice. As historian Dr. Jody Edward Ginn has pointed out, Tejanos — native-born Texans of Mexican heritage — in 1835-36 were statistically slightly more likely to fight for Texas’ independence than were the Anglos Buenger and other woke historians claim were fighting for white supremacy and slavery.

Those Tejanos and Texians fought side-by-side as brothers. They had intermarried families. Shared neighborhoods and towns. A shared fate.

Losoya bears two distinctions. The first is that he was a Tejano, not Anglo or American as were many of the famous revolutionaries such as Sam Houston (who would later find himself deposed as governor for opposing secession from the Union). The second is that Losoya was not only born in Texas, he was born in the Alamo itself when it was a neighborhood and Spanish military outpost. He was born there and grew up there in a little house on the compound’s southwest corner.

Losoya was born during an age of revolution. Texas itself had already tried rebellion in 1813. When Losoya was a boy, Mexico rebelled and broke away from Spain. That was in 1821.

When he was a man, Texas rebelled and broke away from Santa Anna’s Mexico.

Losoya faced a choice then: remain with Mexico, which appeared to be the far stronger military power and in whose military he served, or fight for Texas in its rag-tag, mostly disorganized militia.

Losoya chose the latter.

No surprise there. I mean, what true Texan—and that’s what Losoya, a straightup–no-chaser-190-proof boney feeday national hero, most certainly was—wouldn’t? Whether you hail from Texas or only wish you did, you definitely want to read all of this one, folks. Shitlib Leftwits like this Buengwad queef can have the Alamo, Texas, and our glorious American history and heritage when they pry it from our cold, dead fingers. The more we’re reminded of our indomitable forebears and their courage and derring-do, the better off everybody will be in the long run. Think of such reminders as a curative, spine-stiffening tonic for the betterment of our national health.

Pobody’s nerfect

A handsome mea culpa from America’s Governor™.

Exclusive: Florida Gov. DeSantis Says Lockdowns Were a ‘Huge Mistake’
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis issued a statewide stay-at-home order on April 1 last year, locking down the Sunshine State for 30 days amid global panic about the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus outbreak. Sitting in his office exactly one year later, he told The Epoch Times that the lockdowns were a “huge mistake,” including in his own state.

“We wanted to mitigate the damage. Now, in hindsight, the 15 days to slow the spread and the 30—it didn’t work,” DeSantis said. “We shouldn’t have gone down that road.”

Florida’s lockdown order was notably less strict than some of the stay-at-home measures imposed in other states. Recreational activities like walking, biking, playing golf, and beachgoing were allowed, while what constituted an “essential business” was broadly defined.

“Our economy kept going,” DeSantis said. “It was much different than what you saw in some of those lockdown states.”

However, the governor now regrets issuing the order at all and is convinced that states that have carried on with lockdowns are perpetuating a destructive blunder.

It’s a matter of perspective, actually. If you’re one of those too-credulous naifs who still, against all evidence, thinks of this as a well-intentioned if perhaps overly-aggressive response motivated by sincere public-health concerns, then “destructive blunder” might pass muster with you. If, on the other hand, you’re the more skeptical and hard-bitten sort who—after gimlet-eyed observation of over a year’s worth of the clumsy deception, constantly-moving goalposts, and all-thumbs bureaucratic circle-jerkery which are all too typical of a bloated government that recognizes no limit on its power and reach—prefers to trust his own lyin’ eyes instead of passively swallowing whatever bullshit he’s handed, then you know full well what the true goal was here. A disaster it surely was, from any point of view; fair enough, so stipulated. But God forbid you should ever be blind enough to mislabel a high-order psy-op as successful as this one as any kind of “blunder.”

The governor’s persistence wasn’t a leap of faith. Less than two weeks after Florida’s full reopening in late September, scientists from Stanford, Harvard, and Oxford universities went public with the Great Barrington Declaration, which disavowed lockdowns as a destructive and futile mitigation measure. The declaration, which has since been signed by 13,985 medical and public health scientists, calls on public officials to adopt the focused protection approach—the exact strategy employed by DeSantis.

Despite dire predictions about the pandemic in Florida, DeSantis has been vindicated. On April 1, Florida ranked 27th among all states in deaths per capita from the CCP virus, commonly known as COVID-19.

The ranking’s significance is amplified because the Sunshine State’s population is the sixth oldest in the United States by median age. California—the lockdown state often compared to Florida due to its lower per-capita death rate—is the sixth youngest. The risk of dying from the CCP virus is highest for people over 55, with the group accounting for 93 percent of deaths nationwide.

While Florida is either performing better or relatively the same as the strict lockdown states in terms of CCP virus mortalities, the state’s economy is booming compared to the crippled economies in California and New York.

Though less quantifiable, the human suffering from the lockdown-related rise in suicides, mental health issues, postponed medical treatments, and opioid deaths is undeniably immense.

“It’s been a huge, huge mistake in terms of policy,” DeSantis said.

“All I had to do was follow the data and just be willing to go forward into the teeth of the narrative and fight the media.

“As people were beating up on me, what I said was I’d rather them beat up on me than have someone lose their job. I’d rather have them beat up on me than have kids locked out of school. I’m totally willing to take whatever heat comes our way because we’re doing the right thing.”

Kudos to you, Governor. Would that America had many more like you, because she’s in desperate need of them.

Then again update! Meanwhile, back in the states where Ron DeSantis ISN’T Governor.

The mindless mask regime might be here to stay, unless YOU resist it
The masks might be forever. We have to come to terms with the fact that a large chunk of the US population will be wearing masks in public for years, maybe even decades to come.

Even if we unquestionably achieve herd immunity, even if 100 percent of the population is vaccinated, even if COVID cases nationwide drop to zero and even if the coronavirus by some miracle learns to communicate in a human language and tells us, forthrightly, “Well, you beat me,” some Americans, especially those in blue metropolises, will continue to cover their faces — and shame you for not going along.

It’s a massively depressing thought.

For more than a year, public-health authorities have urged us to put up with temporary inconveniences, always with the soothing promise that it will be only a little while longer. But recently, NPR cheerfully reported about the growing number of people who see masks as a source of Permanent and Absolute Safety.

Flu and other respiratory illnesses are down this year owing to our ubiquitous face coverings, our state-run news agency tells us, so maybe we should just keep wearing them. Meanwhile, the rapper Will.i.am and Honeywell have introduced a super-duper smart mask that runs $300. The “Xupermask” allows the wearer to chat on the phone or listen to some dulcet music while signaling her virtue.

None of this should give anyone the slightest bit of confidence that the days of ubiquitous mask wearing will soon be behind us.

Yes, masks reduce the transmission of airborne illnesses. You know what else reduces transmission? Staying in a protective plastic bubble in your living room and never venturing into the dirty, filthy, infectious outdoors. And even if it makes sense to wear a mask in tight indoor quarters, it is utterly unscientific and, yes, moronic to wear them outside, and yet blue-state denizens insist.

Sigh. The mask fanatics — some of whom hold advanced degrees that make them no wiser as human beings — can’t be reasoned with.

Precisely so—and precisely why we shouldn’t trouble ourselves about reasoning with them, and just skip on ahead to the beating them until they quack like a duck phase of the festivities without further ado. The longer we put it off, the tougher it will be to rid ourselves of them.

Gun Club Galz redux

Now THAT’S what I’m talking, brah. Courtesy of commenter Redhawk, who so thoughtfully provided the link for us, bless his generous heart. Muchas gracias, señor Red.

I love my wife, but OH! You kid! Or, as the immortal Jimmy Durante would opine: Hotchachacha!! And while we’re on the subject of luscious babes-in-arms, feast your eyes on this more contemporary example:

GunClubGalz-3.jpg

Alas, this one’s backstory will make your pulse pound in a far less agreeable way.

Instagram has removed conservative political commentator Kaitlin Bennett’s iconic graduation photo from three years ago for “violence and incitement.”

Meanwhile, the platform has allowed an endless stream of threats against the right-wing firebrand to continue for years.

Apparently, Instagram believes that photos of you peacefully exercising your Second Amendment right are a crime. In their notification to Bennett, they said “we don’t allow content that may lead to a genuine risk to physical harm or direct threat to public safety.”

Right on, babe—”come and take it” indeed. Read the rest for a sampling of the ugly Instagram-approved threats of bodily harm hurled from behind a keyboard in Mommy’s dimly-lit basement at the lovely Miss Bennett for committing the hate-crime of aggregated exercise of her Constitutional rights, along with several counts of embracing said rights as if they were a matter of pride rather than proper shame. Kudos to ya, Kaitlin, and forever may you wave. A single one of you will always be worth more than several legions of your sniveling detractors.

They just don’t make ’em like this anymore

Another comment-inspired post, this latest one brought on by Ironbear’s use of one of true American hero Chesty Puller’s most well-known quips: They have us surrounded. There’s no way they can escape from us now. That got me to digging around for more Puller quotes to respond with, plenty of which are easy to find on the Intarwebs. A sampling—all of them good, all candid and plain-spoken, some alarmingly prescient.

“Our country won’t go on forever, if we stay soft as we are now. There won’t be any America—because some foreign soldiery will invade us and take our women and breed a hardier race.”

“They are in front of us, behind us, and we are flanked on both sides by an enemy that outnumbers us 29:1. They can’t get away from us now!”

“Great. Now we can shoot at them from every direction.”

“We’re surrounded. That simplifies our problem of getting to these people and killing them.” – November 1950, during Chosin Reservoir campaign

“Remember, you are the 1st Marines! Not all the Communists in Hell can overrun you!” (at the Battle of Chosin Reservoir)

“Take me to the Brig. I want to see the real Marines.”

“Where do you put the bayonet on the damn thing?” (upon seeing a flamethrower demonstrated for the first time)

“You don’t hurt ’em if you don’t hit ’em.”

There’s something for Real Americans to learn from in every one of these, either the words themselves or the fearless, never-say-die spirit of the man who spoke them. A few more:

“The mail service has been excellent out here, and in my opinion this is all that the Air Force has accomplished during the war.”
– Chesty Puller in a letter to his wife while in Korea

When an Army captain asked him for the direction of the line of retreat, Col Puller called his Tank Commander, gave them the Army position, and ordered:

“If they start to pull back from that line, even one foot, I want you to open fire on them.”

Turning to the captain, Chesty Puller replied “Does that answer your question? We’re here to fight!” At Koto-ri in Korea

“They are a damn sight better than the U.S. Army, at least we know that they will be there in the morning.”
– Lewis B. Chesty Puller, when a journalist asked him about being surrounded by 22 enemy divisions

“There are not enough Chinamen in the world to stop a fully armed Marine regiment from going where ever they want to go”

That last one smarts a bit, seeing as how Puller’s beloved Corps has fully knuckled under and is now welcoming opportunistic cross-dressers seeking choppadicktomy surgery on the USMC’s dime, as well as boatloads of mollycoddled bimbelinas incapable of meeting minimal standards for physical fitness, into its ranks. The entire US military is now every bit the hollow, ineffectual parody of its former robust self that the country it serves has become. Which is only fitting, I guess. Really, how could it possibly be otherwise? They’ve both been drinking from the same poisoned well.

America just isn’t turning out fierce, indomitable warriors like Chesty Puller anymore, and that’s no accident; it isn’t, because it can’t. That’s no accident either, rather being just one of the Left’s strategic objectives. Thanks to “diversity,” political correctness, general pusillanimity, and overall Leftard tomfoolery, the nation has created a military wholly unable to effectively fulfill its sole purpose of defending the nation.

How powerfully ironic that the Chinese will never even need worry about stopping that “fully-armed Marine regiment” of Chesty’s in the first place. Neither will it be necessary to send a single PLA soldier here for invasion, conquest, and colonization purposes. Thanks to the FUSA’s having sat back limply as its internal enemies slit its throat, the ChiComs already own the banana republic lock, stock, and barrel anyway, without ever mussing a single dink grunt’s hair.

The intentional sapping of our national will and self-respect cost us legendary fighting men like Puller, Claire Chennault, Curtis LeMay, George Patton, Jimmy Doolittle, Pappy Boyington, Audie Murphy, Dick Winters, and too many others to list, “fundamentally transforming” them from role models into icons of American immorality and disgrace. Even worse, celebrating their selfless bravery has been disallowed; in certain despicable circles, they and their exploits are to be harshly condemned, eventually to be quietly edited out of the historical record and forgotten.

The most bitter irony of all? The Left robbed us of these exemplars of real American greatness precisely when we needed them most. Which was no accident either.

Enemies on all sides

This one has been sitting in an open tab waiting for me to get around to posting on it for long enough that I’ve completely forgotten where I originally ran across it, so there’ll be no “Via…” link acknowledging credit, unfortunately. No matter, though; the really important thing is that this story gets read, by as many people as can be reached. Yes, it IS that important, and for more reasons than just one.

U.S.A. –-(AmmoLand.com)- In Garland, Texas, on 3 May 2015, Gregory Stevens, a veteran police officer with the Garland Police Department, was working off duty as armed security for the “Draw the Prophet” cartoon contest event.

Pamela Geller organized the Draw the Prophet event as a response to Islamic demands that Western Civilization submits to Islamic censorship.

The infamous attack on the Charlie Hebdo offices in Paris had occurred just five months earlier, by two Islamists with AK-47 type rifles and Tokarev pistols.

Many will remember the Draw Mohammed event, in the Dallas suburb of Garland, which was attacked by two Isis recruits.

Few know the details of how one prepared gunfighter police officer faced two Islamic riflemen armed with semi-automatic rifles, handguns, plenty of ammunition, soft body armor, and the element of surprise. He fought them at close range and prevailed.

What you might also remember is how Gellar was roundly, viciously condemned as a “right-wing extremist” who was actually to blame for the attack. The usual shitlib suspects—joined by a depressing number of weak-tea “conservative” commentators bleating along in a pattern that has become all too familiar nowadays—accused Geller of acting as a provocateur, motivated not by any desire to proactively defend freedom of speech against jihadi violence but solely by “racist” anti-Moslem bigotry.

Officer Stevens was working extra hours as armed, uniformed security for the event. He would turn 60 in a few days. He had a long experience as a traffic officer. He was a gun guy, who preferred a 1911 .45 Auto.

As a concession to modern pistol design, he had been issued a Glock model 21, chambered in .45 Auto. He was carrying his Glock in his standard duty rig, with a 13 round magazine, a round chambered, and two spare magazines, for a total of 40 rounds of Speer Gold Dot 230 grain hollowpoints.

At the scene with Greg Stevens is Bruce Joiner, an unarmed security guard from Garland Independent School District (ISD). They are in charge of the back entrance to the event, the West entrance coming off of Naaman Forest Blvd, the entrance the VIPs, caterers, and security teams use.

To those scouting for an attack, it appears to be a weak point. There are only two guards. Only one of them is armed. The armed guard (Officer Stevens) only has one pistol and is older than average.

There had been numerous death threats issued about the event. A competent security plan had been created. Greg says he was put at the back entrance because it was viewed as the “easy job”. He joked the idea was to “give the old guy the easy job”. He had a list of the people authorized to use the entrance, and codes they were required to know in order to use it. It was a shortlist.

Pam Geller and Gert Wilder had been passed through. A snafu with a caterer had been cleared up. Gert Wilder and his security team had left.

Just before 7 p.m. in the evening, Greg went to the restroom. A pair of roving armed security took his place. He took his duty car. He returned to his post. The roving team left.

About five minutes after he returned, a small black car pulls up, and stops, abruptly, facing away from the entrance.

Greg’s hair starts standing up on the back of his neck. His “police sense” starts going off. Something is not “right”. The car has out-of-state plates, from Arizona. Immediately, both doors to the car open at the same time.

Gripping stuff so far, no? Ahh, just you wait; trust me, the story is only beginning to get good. Suffice it to say that Stevens—a courageous, conscientious, and thoroughly competent cop—very likely saved a lot of lives with his keen professional instincts, quick reflexes, and the cool-calm-and-collected application of a scrupulously-maintained skillset that day. He represents a vanishing breed—the sort of man society will never have enough of, but cannot prosper long without.

The real kicker, though, comes in at the end of the piece. I won’t go into any of that, other than to note that the FBI is involved, making it another of those anomalies that one might find shocking but is unsurprising nonetheless. Happily, I just now remembered where I saw the above article first, a blog which just happens to be run by a fine young feller who is by no means unknown in this neck of the woods. He fleshes the whole thing out with additional details and some quite disturbing observations of his own.

RIP Rush Limbaugh

Someone who understood that, once in a great while, it really is possible for a single individual to change the world—understood better than most, because he did it himself.

Before Rush, talk radio was different. Talk radio was about cotton-candy issues.  Larry King on the Mutual Broadcast Network hosted an overnight parade of callers talking about pets, childhood memories, landscaping, and just how they were doing. Scores of local talk show hosts – like Perry Marshall at KDKA in Pittsburgh – entertained with friendly chat, the sweet cotton candy that dissolves away quick into meaninglessness.

That was radio B.R. – Before Rush.

To exactly no one’s surprise, the Compassionate, Caring Left™ responded with their usual subhuman, barely-sentient cruelty.

After news broke that conservative talk show giant Rush Limbaugh had died at age 70 on Wednesday, many on the Left took to trashing Limbaugh and celebrating his death. Many on Twitter expressed ill-wishes, hoping Limbaugh would “rest in piss.” Many prominent celebrities shared fabricated quotes falsely attributed to Rush Limbaugh or took his remarks out of context to condemn him.

Because of course they did; this is who they are, this is what they do, and I see no need to belabor that more than obvious point. There’s a different one to be made here, a far more worthwhile one, which I’ll preface with this ostensibly more “reasonable” response:

Uygur-Limbaugh-Tweet.jpeg

No, you lying, sniveling pussy, what Limbaugh actually attacked was Leftism. Which brings us to the bottom line:

THERE IS NO LONGER ANY REASON WHATSOEVER FOR NORMAL AMERICANS TO TREAT THESE VICIOUS ANIMALS KINDLY, FAIRLY, OR RESPECTFULLY, NOR TO ACT AS IF THEIR OPINIONS MATTER IN THE LEAST.

Sympathy? Restraint? For them? Not on your life. Their own unrestrained hatred and vileness must be returned tenfold. The war against them must be acknowledged and waged as war to the knife—real, existential, and morally just.

All fretting over “becoming more like them” or “taking the high road” from our side must now be abandoned. There is no longer any need for analyzing or genteely discussing such matters; there is no longer any question about them. Ugliness and evil must be reflected directly back, in fullest intensity, at the twisted goblins who weaponized them for political use—the tools of tyranny—lest the righteous find themselves overwhelmed. Those who fail to recognize this demonic Enemy for who and what he is, or are too fastidious to do everything necessary to ensure his destruction, will surely perish.

I decided long years ago—I think it was the frabjous day that the odious Ted Kennedy assumed room temperature, maybe—that I would no longer express anything but my truest feelings on the passing of such filthy scum. Never again will I feign grief or sadness when some cancerous Lefty boil on the ass of humanity is finally removed from this world. Their rightful place is in Hell, in the presence of the Master they were always so eager to serve. So when such a one shuffles off this mortal coil at long, long last to receive his eternal due, is there anybody who could seriously argue that his departure from our midst ought to be regarded as some kind of loss? When decent men contort themselves to heap empty, false praise upon the death of lesser sorts whose corruption, moral bankruptcy, and contempt for justice is well known, does not the dishonest act, although well-intentioned, put their own eternal souls at risk? Is prostitution really the price exacted by politesse at times like this?

Speaking strictly for myself: nope, don’t think so, sorry, not gonna do it. Call me uncivil, call me uncouth, call me whatever other names you wish. This is a game I just won’t play anymore. After so many years of enduring the sordid spectacle of soulless fiends gleefully ladling shit over the memory of our dear departed the way they always do I am quite happy to return the favor, with interest compounded. If I even bother to say anything at all, that is. If that leaves me open to a charge of “sinking to their level” or some such from my more effete colleagues…well, so be it then. Don’t like it? Don’t care. Henceforth, I desire only to inflict any and every injury I can on The Enemy, crippling or trivial, and pledge not to allow a single opportunity to do so pass me by. The more he suffers, the gladder I’ll be. To hell with them, one and all. That’s all there is to it.

Now let’s leave the Left to their abominable obsequies and get back to Rush, shall we? Doc Zero says it’s a funeral for a friend:

I never got to speak to Rush Limbaugh, but he always seemed like a friend I heard from every day. He quoted my work on the air a few times, and it was a surreal delight, a joyous thing that could not possibly be happening. He helped us all become friends.

That’s the real measure of Rush’s impact. He helped so many people realize they were not alone, even as the mainstream media labored to make them feel isolated and hopeless. He understood that totalitarians overwhelm and dominate ordinary people by making them *feel* surrounded.

How often good and decent people felt isolated before Rush! They wondered why nobody could see what was so perfectly obvious to them. The secret of totalitarian success is to make ordinary people fear everyone around them is an informer or enforcer. Rush shattered that illusion.

The illusion of manufactured consensus and forced conformity never worked on Rush, not for a minute. He KNEW we were all out here, long before his ratings proved it. He gave so many others the confidence to raise their voices, knowing they were not alone.

It takes incredible talent and discipline to realize a bold vision like that. I heard him on the air not long ago, and thought he sounded great, as if time had not touched the voice I first heard over 30 years ago. Someone had to do what he did, but not just anyone COULD have.

And now the Internet will be filled with ugly cries of triumph from the howling darkness Rush spent his life opposing… proving him right once again, one more time. They’re still dangerous, but they aren’t scary any more, not after Rush spent all those years mocking them.

We all lost a great friend in Rush Limbaugh today, but he showed us how many friends we really have, across this nation and many others. We are one less, but because of him, we will never again fear we are alone. One voice is stilled, but there will never again be silence.

We can only hope not. Even so, it’s hard to imagine who could possibly fill his shoes. Whatever comes next, the struggle will go on. Klavan recommends defiance as the proper way to honor Limbaugh’s memory:

How could I not be delighted at the fear and loathing he inspired in the great and good? During my long absence from America, the great and good had become such smug, small-minded, and provincial little people, it was a guilty pleasure to watch them writhe on the flame he lit beneath them. For decades, feminists had called men “pigs.” Now Rush called them “feminazis,” and they threw their aprons over their faces and sobbed about his lack of civility. For decades, race-mongers had blamed an innocent generation of whites for a history that they hadn’t made, and now Rush mocked the mongers with wicked impressions, and declared it was time for black Americans to get on board the freedom train with their white fellow citizens.

It was beautiful. Courageous. The kind of radio magic I’d grown up with. And it changed me, or at least helped me change. Rush gave a joyful voice to the new thoughts I didn’t even know I’d had.

I do not cry for dead celebrities. I have just enough tears for the people I know and love. But I choked up when I heard that Rush had left the studio. He was silenced just at the moment when the elite and powerful would silence us all. Our politicians seek to demonize half the nation—Rush’s half. Our news media calls for censorship. Tech billionaires sit on their mountains of gold and gesture like foppish princes to tell us who shall speak and who shall not.

Let us defy them, then. Let us all speak, and fearlessly. Let that be Rush’s monument. In a way, he built it himself.

Seconded, heartily. In his brief post, Michael Walsh offers similar advice:

A great man died today: Rush Limbaugh was 70. He was perceptive on many social and political issues, including the ludicrous claims on the Left that human beings are causing “global warming” or “climate change,” when in fact the “crisis” was and remains simply another “progressive” path to power and domination — “a political movement disguised as science.”

A notion that carbon-based life forms (us) are destroying the planet (ours) by means of carbon emissions is profoundly anti-human. Rush’s greatest legacy may well turn out to be how accurately he exposed them and their malignant misanthropy on this and many other subjects. Let us never forget his lessons and continue to face down the enemies within with humor, wit, intelligence and, above all, courage.

Above even that, let our perception of the Enemy be clear-eyed; let us neither shirk nor flinch from whatever our sacred duty to defend liberty may demand of us, no matter how daunting or distasteful. Let our resolve in the face of the Enemy be as steel, our hearts as ice. Let us be unstinting and implacable in the pursuit of victory—uncompromised victory, unambiguous victory, TOTAL victory. Let us be fully aware that anything short of it would be tantamount to defeat, therefore unacceptable.

Elsewhere, Steyn’s compelling tribute might be the perfect closer, so I’ll excerpt liberally from it even as I also insist that you read every word of it.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Rush Limbaugh, a giant of American broadcasting, a uniquely talented performer, and a hugely generous man to whom I owe almost everything.

One man doing what he wanted to do saved an entire medium – AM radio – and turned all its old rules upside down: Traditionally, morning drive is your big audience, and everything tapers off from there. Rush figured that everyone needs a local guy at that time, with traffic and weather updates, and that the opportunity to build a national show lay in the hitherto somnolent slot of noon-to-three Eastern/nine-to-twelve Pacific. And within a couple of years hundreds of stations were building the entire schedule around the midday guy. In the scheme of things, I am not sure how many of those stations will be able to keep that going without him.

Powerful politicians and longtime fans were often surprised, upon meeting him, to find a man who was quite private and indeed shy – because, like many radio guys, he had no desire to have a public persona other than at the microphone. Unlike so many others in this business, Rush was hugely generous and totally secure. Unlike other shows of left and right, where the staff come and go every six weeks, everyone at the EIB Network has been there fifteen, twenty, thirty years. That includes, in a very peripheral way, yours truly. When I first started guest-hosting, I found it odd that, on the rare occasions Rush mentioned the subs, it would be to put them down. Because, I mean, who would do that? But Rush is the least insecure star on the planet, and I came to see that he was actually teaching the neophytes a very important lesson: You guys need to be completely secure too – because it’s the only way to survive in this wretched media. I came to appreciate that being put down by Rush was actually a far greater compliment than him doing some boilerplate hey-he’s-a-great-guy shtick. And one of the saddest days of my fifteen years with EIB was when I heard Rush a few months back expressing genuine, sincere gratitude for something I’d said about him a few days earlier. As I pleaded on air, I just wanted the old Rush back scoffing at his guest-hosts – so we’d know all was well in the world.

I have come to admire him even more this last year. When he announced his diagnosis, we all knew this story only has one ending, and it’s just a question of how many chapters there are leading up to it. Rush loved what he did more than anything in life except his family. He had no interest in going to Tahiti to watch the sunset. He wanted to be behind the Golden EIB Microphone every day that he could. So initially he took a couple of days off every three weeks for treatment, and then the two days became four, and the treatment weeks took their toll and spilled into the following week. But, through it all, he remained determined to do every single show he could – because, aside from anything else, he wanted to make sure he, his listeners, his brand, his stations did everything they could to put President Trump across the finish line on November 3rd.

Events didn’t quite turn out the way he wanted – although they might have if more people had worked as hard as a man ravaged by Stage IV cancer did, in defiance of his doctors’ prognostications. The last three months, when he and Kathryn had surely earned those Tahitian sunsets, took a terrible toll. But he stayed on the air until just a fortnight ago – because above all he wanted to keep faith with tens of millions of listeners, many of whom had been listening to him their entire lives and could not imagine a world without him.

We are about to find out.

We are at that, and it promises to be neither pleasant nor pretty.

In a sense, it’s fitting that Rush leaves us even as the light of America That Was has been dimmed, if not extinguished outright. One can easily imagine how deeply the unprecedented events over the last year must have troubled him, how painfully they wounded him as he witnessed his beloved country wantonly savaged by audacious but wholly witless fanatics. The Shadow, expanding as it descends, is a drain on the spirit of the strong and weak alike, until it finally devours all.

In his post title, Steyn calls Rush The Indispensable Man, and that he indubitably was. Although I haven’t listened to him much over recent years, there’s no gainsaying his impact, and we can all expect the impact of his loss to be no less momentous. Conservatism as we know it today would simply not exist without Rush Limbaugh. As he singlehandedly revived the dying medium of AM radio, so it was with conservatism itself. Love him or hate him, he was and will ever remain not merely “The Big Voice on the Right,” as he dubbed himself with the bombastic yet slyly facetious overstatement so characteristic of the man. In reality, his voice was The Biggest.

If that ain’t indispensable, I don’t know what is. Be at peace, Rush. You will be sorely, sorely missed.

Update! Several good reminiscences from reformed liberals on their conversion from darkness to light, starting with the valiant, much-lamented warrior Andrew Breitbart.

One day I asked [my future father-in-law Orson Bean] why he had Rush Limbaugh’s book The Way Things Ought to Be on his shelf. I asked him, “Why would you have a book by this guy?”

And Orson said, “Have you ever listened to him?”

I said yes, of course, even though I never had. I was convinced to the core of my being that Rush Limbaugh was a Nazi, anti-black, anti-Jewish, and anti-all things decent. Without berating me for disagreeing with him, Orson simply suggested that I listen to him again.

This is where my rendezvous with destiny begins.

I turned on KFI 640 AM to listen to evil personified from 9 a.m. to noon. Indeed, my goal was to derive pleasure from the degree of evil I found in Rush Limbaugh. I was looking forward to a jovial discussion with Orson to confirm how right I was. One hour turned into three. One listening session into a week’s worth. And next thing I knew, I was starting to doubt my preprogrammed self. I was still a Democrat. I was still a liberal.

But after listening for months while putting thousands of miles on my car, I couldn’t believe that I once thought this man was a Nazi or anything else. While I couldn’t yet accept the premise that he was speaking my language, I marveled at how he could take a breaking news story and offer an entertaining and clear analysis that was like nothing I had ever seen on television, especially the Sunday morning shows, which had been my previous one-stop shop for political opinions.

Most important, though, Limbaugh, like the professor I always wanted but never had the privilege to study under, created a vivid mental picture of the architecture of a world that I resided in but couldn’t see completely: the Democrat-Media Complex. Embedded in Limbaugh’s analysis of politics was always a tandem discussion on the media. Each segment relentlessly pointed to collusion between the media and the Democratic Party. If the Clarence Thomas hearings showed me that something was wrong, the ensuing years of listening to Limbaugh and Dennis Prager — who at the time was also undergoing a political transformation from the Democratic to the Republican Party — explained to me with eerie precision what exactly was wrong. I swallowed hard and conceded to Orson that he was right.

It takes great courage, strength, and humility to swallow one’s pride, admit error, and redirect oneself towards the path of wisdom. Not everybody possesses those gifts; hardly any Leftists do, which helps to explain the extraordinary vehemence and frenzy fueling the ritualistic denunciation of former comrades who reject their previous Progtard beliefs for conservatism. Another:

It was 1992, and I was on vacation in Dallas, Texas. I had literally escaped Los Angeles after riots had broken out, but that’s a story for another time. My friend, who is an airline pilot, told me about this great new radio program called The Rush Limbaugh Show, and since I was a passenger in his car I got a chance to listen in. This Rush Limbaugh guy was kind of funny, but a little too bombastic for my then-moderate tastes. So, once I returned to California, I dismissed the show from my mind.

In 1995, I had a roommate who I couldn’t stand, and she was a Dittohead. Rush Limbaugh was in the last year of his television show, so she watched it religiously. I thought it was a bit cultish and, coupled with my disdain for this particular roommate, I decided that if she liked it, then it wasn’t for me. So, I once again dismissed the show.

Fast forward to 2007. I had a hella long commute to work, and since my very new husband at the time listened to talk radio, I decided to give that a try to get me through the miles, and give us another point of commonality to share. Guess who happened to be on during the time I was on the road? the one and only Rush Limbaugh.

Maybe it was the ability to listen to the entire show, but this time, I was drawn in. Rush’s distribution company Clear Channel Communications had just received a censure letter from Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, lambasting Rush for criticizing U.S. troops who were against the war in Iraq, calling them “phony soldiers.” What ensued, with Rush auctioning off the letter to charity for $2.1 million dollars, was the ultimate troll, and extremely savage. Rush gave zero f**ks about it and flipped the script by doing some good for a worthy cause while handing the evil Harry Reid his ass.

From that moment on I was hooked, and listened regularly.

Rush was indeed unique in his ability to persuade, as well as his near-uncanny insight into the effectiveness of humor to get his ideas across. But there’s another essential ingredient in the Limbaugh formula for success, maybe the most important of them all. And somehow, despite their self-proclaimed intellectual superiority, it’s always been beyond the comprehension of Lefty Limbaugh-haters.

Rush’s critics always… always misunderstood him. Maybe it was purposeful. Rush’s critics always depicted him as an angry flame-thrower ranting into his microphone and giving marching orders to his army of ignorant, brainwashed minions.

They couldn’t be more wrong about all of that.

Rush was always smiling… and he was always funny. And he wasn’t giving us marching orders by telling us what to think. It was, in fact, the very opposite.

Rush wasn’t telling us what to think; he was articulating what we already believed. He was just the first to come along and respect us for our views, told us he shared them, and then he used his talents (on loan from God) to crystalize those ideas and articulate them in a clever, succinct, and entertaining way. And…never forget this…he was communicating those ideas on our behalf.

He was there for us. Not to tell us what to think but to help us articulate what we believed and remind us that we are not alone. And he did that in a very personal way.

Precisely. It’s so simple and obvious only a liberal could be unable to grasp it. It’s hopeless, I know, but what the hell. I’ll explain it one more time.

See, some might wave away Rush’s astounding and prolonged success as a matter of sheer dumb luck or, slightly more charitably, fortuitous timing. I think that’s dubious at best. Rush had a huge audience already in place just waiting for someone like him to come along. Millions of put-upon Americans, traditionally revered as the very heart, soul, and backbone of their nation, suddenly scorned as disgusting, bigoted ignoramuses—undeserving beneficiaries of a commodious lifestyle made possible only by the systematic exploitation and abuse of blameless foreigners. From salt of the earth to scum of the earth, in what must have felt like no more than the blink of an eye.

So here’s Normie Joe Sixpack, having had a bellyful of being defamed, denounced, and socially disenfranchised for crimes he never committed at the (soft) hands of mollycoddled ingrates who parasitically enjoyed the fruits produced by Joe’s hard work and ever-stiffening taxes. Then he happens upon a fella on the radio one fine day who not only professes the same beliefs as him, but is doing so with pride, passion, and eloquence. Can you even imagine what that unlooked-for discovery must have felt like to bewildered, frustrated, increasingly pissed off ol’ Joe? It was an affirmation long overdue, and well-earned. How could poor Joe reasonably be expected not to respond with jubilation, rewarding this newfound champion with undying loyalty and affection for their against-all-odds liberation?

Note: If this doesn’t remind you of the response bestowed on a certain outsider President (himself criminally harried from office by the same Lefty hellhounds persecuting poor Normie Joe) for a like affirmation, you should see a doctor to have yourself tested for latent Libtard Syndrome without delay, before your affliction can metastasize and reach its final, incurable stage. The good news is that a significant percentage of the population enjoys a powerful natural resistance to infection; for reasons not yet understood, those with higher levels of intelligence and self-respect have nothing to fear from this mysterious and deadly disease. For the unfortunate percentage who do contract it, LS is known to be one hundred percent fatal to reason, happiness, and mental stability in the briefest of intervals following the onset of frank symptoms. It is nothing to be messing around with.

Anyways. Evidence abounds supporting the contention that Rush was well aware of his potential audience, and of what that might mean for his own prospects, and his country’s. Not to imply that he cynically exploited that knowledge solely for his own enrichment; far from it. Limbaugh still faced years of toil, skepticism, and overt opposition from within his own industry, which I’m sure he also knew. It’s to his eternal credit that he didn’t let the obstacles daunt or dissuade him, readily accepting the challenge to eventually win through via dogged determination; an unshakable faith in his talent, his audience, and his message; and a lifelong ambition to carve out a career for himself in the broadcast-radio industry he so passionately loved.

It sounds like a horrible thing to say, but it’s kind of a shame Rush’s death had to come during the chaotic, floundering rein of an Enemy regime composed entirely of traitors mindlessly hostile to absolutely every principle he stood for. Trump would have seen to it that this profoundly consequential patriot’s legacy was honored as it ought to be, the grief of his admirers respected instead of ignored. But regardless of the indifference that is the very best we can hope for from the illegitimate BaiDing-Harris junta, I’d bet Rush Limbaugh’s funeral is going to be as unforgettable as the man himself was.

So fuck all the haters anyhow. Who cares? There’s not a damned thing they can do to prevent Real Americans from paying their last respects to a truly extraordinary man who was truly one of their own, and proud to be. Maybe the incandescent rage sparked by their own impotence will cause a few of them to keel over dead from a stroke or something. Let them fume, let them shriek, let them hate; the hatred of a scoundrel is an honorable man’s reward. The MahaRushi will be fondly remembered long after the pathetic Stumblebum In Thief and all his works have been forgotten. Rush Limbaugh’s inspiring legacy of achievement and uplift will forever eclipse the usurper Biden’s disgraceful record of corruption, self-regard, and insignificance.

The blood of patriots

Couldn’t come up with a way to improve on ZMan’s title, so I lifted it.

Yesterday, Ashli Babbitt was shot in the neck and died while protesting inside the Capitol with other protestors. A group of angry Trump supporters had got into the building and were making a racket. This is not an unusual occurrence. During the Kavanaugh hearings, Democrats organized mobs of screeching women to harass Republicans in the halls of the Capitol. Party media was there to celebrate it as the purest expression of democracy. It was power to the people time.

That was not the case yesterday, according to the media. Instead, it was a direct threat to “our” democracy. This is a bit ironic in that the protests are over the obvious corruption in the election system. The direct threat to democracy is the people demanding their elections be fair and honest. That’s why Ashli Babbitt was inside the Capitol making a racket. Her whole life she had been told this was how citizens angry at their government demand redress when the system fails.

That is how popular government is supposed to work. The people expect their government to be responsive to the will of the people. When they don’t like that they see, they vote for different people to hold office. If those politicians ignore the people, then the people go bang on their door and demand redress of their grievances. The politicians then come out and address their issues. That’s not it works now. Instead, they open fire on the people like they did yesterday.

Ashli Babbitt was not some drug-addled degenerate, like we saw last summer, when the ruling class unleashed their mobs on us. She was a veteran, serving 14 years in the US Air Force, and she was a high-level security official throughout her time in service. She was like most of the people at the protest, in that she had bought into what she was told about America. So much so she signed onto serve in the military and go overseas in various deployments.

Of course, unlike George Floyd, Ashli Babbitt will not get three nationally televised funerals and be treated as a fallen hero. That honor goes to drug-addled criminals who overdose in police custody. In this America, patriots who served their country and exercise their rights get gunned down by agents of the state. This woman, this patriot, bleeding out in the halls of the Capitol, murdered by an agent of the state, is the perfect image of what has gone terribly wrong in America.

No doubt, millions of decent people who sympathized with her cause are saddened by this terrible tragedy. It did not have to come to this. This was not an accident. This was not a terrible misfortune. The people on the other side of that door, the people who celebrate the murderer of Ashli Babbitt now, they did this. They created this crisis that threatens to plunge to country into a death spiral. They had choices and they had plenty of warning, but they refused to listen and now Ashli Babbitt is dead.

This is one of ZMan’s all-time best; my excessive excerpting notwithstanding, you’ll want to read all of it.

I’ve seen reports that the bloodthirsty, cowardly pig—a word I do NOT just lightly throw around, not ever—who wantonly murdered Ashli was either Capitol Police or, as Z says, a member of the traitor Pence’s security detail. Whatever the case may be, the filthy scum should be doxxed, then spend the rest of his abbreviated existence being hounded by other patriots at his very doorstep. And that’s just for starters. If I was Ashli’s poor husband, I would certainly dedicate the rest of my life to, as Sgt Barnes said in Platoon, taking a personal interest in seeing him suffer.

Via WRSA, Yon says this means war.

Michael is definitely a guy who would know one when he sees one. How terrible that, at this point, we must hope he’s right. But one way or another, by any means necessary, we cannot allow this woman to die in vain. We MUST not.

Laying down the law

They ain’t playing in Clay County, Fla.

Trust me, you don’t want to miss a word of this one, folks. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I’ll say it again: no matter how many cops like this guy there might be out there, we will never, ever have near enough of ’em.

Update! On the other hand.

A Black Lives Matter supporter attacked a Trump supporter this evening in Washington, leaving her face bruised and bloody. When other Trump supporters demonstrating for the president’s reelection struggle stepped in to protect the victim and request that the police arrest her assailant, the police responded by pepper spraying the entire group.

The DC Metro Police have repeatedly proven that the Blue Lives Matter movement must readjust their sights away from city cops. City cops are a different breed, they will cowardly follow the orders of Democrat mayors and stand down while cities burn, but they will quickly step into attack their own supporters.

Why defend them? Why pretend they are valiant heroes running into the Twin Towers?

GP reports on the only logical response:

A pro-Trump Marine went off on the DC Police after officers maced Stop the Steal protesters the night before Wednesday’s big rally.

Police have been using a very heavy hand with Trump supporters to protect the Antifa and Black Lives Matter militants who are gathered in BLM Plaza.

“You lost both sides of support. We had your f***ing back, but we ain’t got your back no more!” the man shouts.

Just as we can never have enough cops like that Florida sheriff, in certain parts of the country we are badly oversupplied with, y’know, the other kind.

We shall not see their like again

From Audie Murphy to Pajama Boy.

Growing up with a father, uncles, and cousins who struggled to maintain our California farm during the Depression and then fought in an existential war was a constant immersion in their predominantly tragic view of life. Most were chain smokers, ate and drank too much, drove too fast, avoided doctors, and were often impulsive—as if in their fifties and sixties, they were still prepping for another amphibious assault or day-time run over the Third Reich. Though they viewed human nature with suspicion, they were nonetheless upbeat—their Homeric optimism empowered by an acceptance of a man’s limitations during his brief and often tragic life. Time was short; but heroism was eternal. “Of course you can” was their stock reply to any hint of uncertainty about a decision. The World War II generation had little patience with subtlety, or even the suggestion of indecision—how could it when such things would have gotten them killed at Monte Cassino or stalking a Japanese convoy under the Pacific in a submarine?

One lesson of the war on my father’s generation was that dramatic action was always preferable to incrementalism, even if that meant that the postwar “best and brightest” would sometimes plunge into unwise policies at home or misadventures abroad. Another lesson the World War II generation learned—a lesson now almost forgotten—was that perseverance and its twin courage were the most important of all collective virtues. What was worse than a bad war was losing it. And given their sometimes tragic view of human nature, the Old Breed believed that winning changed a lot of minds, as if the policy itself was not as important as the appreciation that it was working.

In reaction to the stubborn certainty of our fathers, we of the Baby Boomer generation prided ourselves on introspection, questioning authority, and nuance. We certainly saw doubt and uncertainty as virtues rather than vices—but not necessarily because we saw these traits as correctives to the excesses of the GIs. Rather, as one follows the trajectory of my generation, whose members are now in their sixties and seventies, it is difficult not to conclude that we were contemplative and critical mostly because we could be—our mindset being the product of a far safer, more prosperous, and leisured society that did not face the existential challenges of those who bequeathed such bounty to us. Had the veterans of Henry Kaiser’s shipyards been in charge of California’s high-speed rail project, they would have built on time and on budget, rather than endlessly litigating various issues as costs soared in pursuit of a mythical perfection.

The logical conclusion of our cohort’s emphasis on “finding oneself” and discovering an “inner self” is the now iconic ad of a young man in pajamas sipping hot chocolate while contemplating signing up for government health insurance. Such, it seems, is the arrested millennial mindset. The man-child ad is just 70 years removed from the eighteen-year-olds who fought and died on Guadalcanal and above Schweinfurt, but that disconnect now seems like an abyss over centuries. One cannot loiter one’s mornings away when there is a plane to fly or a tank to build. I am not sure that presidents Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman, and Dwight Eisenhower were always better men than were presidents Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump, but they were certainly bigger in the challenges they faced and the spirit in which they met them.

This New Year’s Eve, let us give a toast to the millions who are no longer with us and the thousands who will soon depart this earth. They gave us a world far better than they inherited.

How painfully ironic, then, that their unappreciative heirs should turn out to be the weak, soft, whiny little pissants they are, with each successive generation more contemptible than the one before it.

Spicy Time cometh?

Interesting stuff indeed, regarding the raid that never happened, to seize those servers that didn’t exist, owned by that company which doesn’t even have an office anywhere near there anyway.

General McInerney: US Military Personnel Killed in Frankfurt CIA Server Farm Raid
Start at minute 42 for Gen. McInerney’s account of the US military seizure of the CIA’s server farm in Frankfurt, Germany. While he is still waiting for secondary confirmation, he states that some US military personnel were killed in this operation.

DRenegade puts some questions he says need to be addressed, and he couldn’t be righter about that. Further backup:

Jeffrey Prather (JeffreyPrather.com) is a former DIA intelligence analyst, former DEA investigations officer, served on the B Team of special operations forces, and is now an intelligence analyst working to save America from its enemies, both foreign and domestic. Since the rigged election took place, Prather has been publishing podcasts that offer analysis of what’s happening behind the scenes in Washington D.C., covering deep state operators, the Dept. of Defense, SOCOM, JSOC, SOF-dark and also looking closely at Trump’s strategy for defeating the deep state.

Like many patriots, Prather has also been targeted for destruction by the deep state, but he survived the attempts and is serving his country now as a civilian analyst with decades of experience of how the system really works.

I was able to connect with Prather yesterday, and we filmed this extremely timely and powerful interview that you definitely don’t want to miss. Some of the highlights from the interview:

  • Confirms that multiple raids on the servers of vote rigging systems were conducted, in three countries.
  • Confirms that the NSA has hard evidence on treasonous actors, and that this evidence is likely being leveraged by Trump’s people.
  • Confirms that Trump can use the NDAA, combined with the Sep. 12, 2018 Executive Order, to declare domestic treasonous actors as “enemy combatants.”
  • Says that the DoD and patriots inside the DIA have everything they need to defeat the deep state.
  • Says Trump will be President on January 21st.
  • Warns that the transition from information warfare to conventional (kinetic) warfare may happen very soon.
  • Warns that the left-wing backlash against Trump’s victory will result in bloodshed that cannot be avoided.
  • Says that Leftists are greatly underestimating the capabilities and resolve of the American people in the context of domestic warfare that’s likely to unfold.

More yet at the link.

Thriller update! Andrea Widberg says it all reads “like a Tom Clancy novel.” She ain’t wrong about that.

I have no idea whether this raid happened. Its having taken place, however, is consistent with my ruminations about Trump’s peculiarly-timed shake-up at the Pentagon: Firing defense secretary Mark Esper and replace him with Christopher Miller, a special forces man; moving special forces into their own command, rather than having them function as subsets of other military branches; and firing potentially disloyal members of the civilian Defense Policy Board. These actions indicated that Trump was clearing the decks for something big.

Mike Adams, who writes at Natural News (which I once thought was a health food newsletter, not a conservative internet news outlet), dropped a bombshell, claiming there was a deadly firefight in Frankfurt between special forces and CIA operatives:

As you know by now, the DoD launched a raid on a CIA-run server farm in Frankfurt, Germany, to secure servers that contain proof of CIA interference with the 2020 election (i.e. backdoor manipulations of election results via Dominion voting machines). But new information is now surfacing that indicates there was a firefight at the server farm facility, involving US Army Special Forces units, engaging with CIA-trained paramilitary units that were flown in from Afghanistan in an emergency effort to defend the facility.

One CIA officer was killed during the firefight, and he is now being reported across the mainstream media as being “killed in Somalia.” Five US Army soldiers were also killed, and they are being explained away as dying in a “helicopter crash” in Egypt.

Despite the deaths, the servers were successfully acquired by the DoD, and those servers were turned over to President Trump’s private intelligence group, which is now once again led by Gen. Michael Flynn, recently pardoned and now allowed to process top secret information, since his security clearance has been restored.

Is it me, or does that sound just like a military-techno thriller? That doesn’t mean, though, that it’s untrue. After all, if I hadn’t lived through the coup attempt against Trump, the tech tyrants’ censorship against conservatives from the president on down, and the general lunacy of 2020, but had instead read all that in a book, I would have pronounced the book too far-fetched.

Additional corroboration for Adams’ report comes from Lt. General Thomas McInerney, who did an interview with the WVW Broadcast Network. During the interview, he stated (beginning at 41:45) that he too had heard reports about events in Germany.

In sum, McInerney said that “The Kraken” is the nickname of the 305th military intelligence battalion; that The Kraken identified China, Iran, and Russia as being involved in using the Hammer & Scorecard system to manipulate American votes; that the servers used for this were in a CIA facility in Frankfurt; that special forces raided the facility; and that there were casualties – in other words, exactly what Mike Adams reported.

I’m being a bit careful about accepting McInerney’s statements at face value. Even recognizing Wikipedia’s leftist bias, it’s clear that McInerney, who had an illustrious military career that included intelligence work, can let his emotions get ahead of his filter when he speaks.

Having said that, McInerney introduced Americans to the possibility that “Hammer and Scorecard” were used to game the election. While Leftists promptly denounced the program as a “hoax,” Navid Keshavarz-Nia, whom the Sunday New York Times once promoted as “always the smartest person in the room” and who is a renowned intelligence specialist, confirms that it is real.

In trying to determine whether McInerney was speaking accurately, there’s one more point in his favor: The other person who appeared during that interview was General Michael Flynn, who headed America’s military intelligence operations. Flynn vouched for his “friend” McInerney.

In light of A) the CIA’s deep involvement in Spygate; B) the Company’s long history of interfering in foreign national elections all across the globe; and C) the implacable hostility the Deep State establishment entire holds for Trump, it seems way more far-fetched to assume that they didn’t try to interfere in this one too.

Oath-takers, oath-breakers

Crossing the line.

It was all spelled out in black and white, available for all to see, and had been since before I was born. The future was to be a borderless world in which people, money, goods, and services moved unfettered under the custody of an international class of credentialed technocrats, and the United States was to be its prophet. Globalism wasn’t a conspiracy; it was the consensus. It was institutionalized. It was the ethos of those who shaped and implemented policy, whether they be entrenched in academia, business and finance, or government and its bureaucracy, “and if you didn’t like it, you better learn to love it” as the poet said.

With the 2016 election, I was floored to find a candidate running for office who dared to call it by name. America was being betrayed by corrupt and incompetent leaders and looted by scavengers, and by God, that was gonna change. There was to be an end to open-ended wars abroad with vague objectives. American policy, whether on economics or immigration, would be fashioned to benefit actual Americans rather than the nebulous false god of Humanity at large. Whether he was sincere or if he’d make good or not was almost irrelevant. It was worth voting for him, if for no other reason than to put a shot across the bow of globalists.

The years since then have been a parade of funhouse mirrors with one grotesque caricature or farce after another portrayed to us by a hostile media driven mad with their diminishing loss of control over the proles. The usual suspects trot out their “experts” and act out an almost vaudeville routine to try and seduce the world with what we later discover to be half-truths if not outright lies.

What has happened with this year’s election, however, is beyond the pale.

In their obsession to oust the orange monster in their minds, the aspiring global managerial class has crossed a line and this demands a response.

When we enter the service, we swear an oath to “defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies both foreign and domestic.” What does that mean though when the majority of those on the other side of that oath see it merely as a means to manipulate your sense of honor or love of country? What does it mean when that constitution no longer describes the way power really works in America now, or fails to address the international networks of patronage that truly dictate policy today? How do concepts like treason even apply when almost the entire political class (and especially those who teach them) ceased to believe in nations long ago and have elected instead to offer up what remains on the altar of a utopia that will never come?

We have been betrayed and it’s time to stop tolerating it.

It still shocks me, although I know it shouldn’t, that the overwhelming majority of national elected officeholders swear the same oath to uphold and defend the Constitution as soldiers and cops do, with no intention whatsoever of upholding it—as if such oaths were without meaning or weight, just an outdated dumbshow undergone before being authorized to wield levels of power that, were they men with integrity enough to honor the solemn oaths they swear to, would not even exist at all.

Thereby proving yet again that the “people” we elect are in truth the very last ones on earth a self-respecting citizenry would want governing them.

Hotting up

It’s about fucking time.

Federal agents said Thursday they thwarted a plot to violently overthrow the government as well as kidnap and harm Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer — a conspiracy that included visits to her home in northern Michigan and training with firearms and explosive devices.

The alleged plot mainly involved six conspirators unhappy in part about Whitmer’s coronavirus restrictions, calling her a “tyrant.” They wanted to create a “self-sufficient” society free from they called unconstitutional state governments and discussed plans to storm the Capitol and take hostages, according to FBI documents filed in court.

Organizers allegedly met starting in June, including at a Second Amendment rally in Lansing and in a Grand Rapids shop basement accessed through a secret door hidden under a rug.

The plot also included at least seven members of a Michigan militia known as the Wolverine Watchmen accused by state officials on Thursday of targeting police, making threats to “instigate civil war” and helping to plan Whitmer’s kidnapping, according to state and federal officials.

The militiamen are, of course, correct: Whitler IS a tyrant, plain and simple. If there’d been any doubt about that before she brazenly declared her intention to defy a Michigan Supreme ruling officially confirming her tyrant-straight-up status, there damned sure can’t be any now.

The federal court filing alleges the conspirators twice conducted surveillance at Whitmer’s personal vacation home in northern Michigan and discussed kidnapping her to a “secure location” in Wisconsin to stand “trial” for treason prior to the Nov. 3 election.

“Several members talked about murdering ‘tyrants’ or ‘taking’ a sitting governor,” an FBI agent wrote in the affidavit. “The group decided they needed to increase their numbers and encouraged each other to talk to their neighbors and spread their message.”

If they’re tyrants, it ain’t murder. It’s no more than justice—a concept to which “a long train of abuses and usurpations,” to borrow a pertinent phrase, has rendered all too many Americans insensible.

After the charges were revealed, Whitmer slammed President Donald Trump for failing to condemn in strong enough terms hate groups, such as the far-right Proud Boys, whom he told to “stand back and stand by” during the debate last week.

“Hate groups heard the president’s words not as a rebuke, but as a rallying cry, a call to action,” the Democratic governor said.

Yeah, fuck you too. Here’s hoping we’ll eventually learn whether you can sing that same skrawky tune of yours with a nice, stout length of hemp around your neck, bitch.

She also warned those who threatened violence: “We will find you, we will hold you accountable and we will bring you to justice.”

Not if the Wolverine Watchmen, God bless ’em each and every one, catch up with your malignant ass first you won’t. On that most frabjous of days, you’ll get a long-overdue schooling on what “accountability” and “justice” REALLY mean, or did before you and a whole sorry pantload of other evil bureau-rats warped and perverted those fine words beyond any real meaning. And just in case anyone out there has any concerns about the propriety or morality of such seemingly radical steps as these, may I remind one and all:

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient Causes; and accordingly all Experience hath shewn, that Mankind are more disposed to suffer, while Evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the Forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long Train of Abuses and Usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a Design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their Right, it is their Duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future Security.

Seems clear enough to me.

Incongruous update! Well, that got weird awful quick.

Several media outlets, including the New York Times and the UK Daily Mail have attempted to cast the individuals as “right-wing” and “Trump supporters,” but at least one suspect, Brandon Caserta, held views more nuanced than that.

Breitbart News reviewed Caserta’s Facebook profile shortly before it was deleted.

In several YouTube videos, Caserta opined about rights and the illegitimacy of government.

“The Constitution is illegitimate,” he said in one posted on May 16, 2020, which was removed after Caserta’s account was terminated.

“Authority doesn’t exist, dude,” Caserta said, seated in front of an anarchist flag, “and, like, the law doesn’t exist.”

Other videos, including some Breitbart News reviewed on Caserta’s Facebook page prior to deletion, the suspect criticized the police, calling them “obedient order-followers.”

Hmmmm. FBI false-flag op, perhaps?

Something rotten update! Stinky, hinky, not on the up and up.

At least two of the six people indicted on Thursday were not right-wing militia members, Trump supporters, or Proud Boys, as Whitmer irresponsibly represented. According to information coming out on Thursday evening, one of the ring leaders of the plot is a leftist insurrectionist anarchist who hates President Trump. Another, Pete Musico, shares the same philosophy.

It makes you wonder what else do we not know about these Adam Fox, Barry Croft, Ty Garbin, Kaleb Franks, Case Daniel Harris, Brandon Caserta, and others up on state charges in Michigan.

Producer Robby Starbuck, Reddit, and probably 4Chan went to work to trace back the social media breadcrumbs left behind by the feds, who likely “disappeared” most of the social media footprints of the men who’d been charged.

Either the Michigan militia boys need to tighten up their recruitment and security sharp-ish, or that’s the cold, ghostly hand of a false-flag op I feel on my shoulder all of a sudden.
