On patience, process, and breaking the cycle of losing

Mike’s Iron Law Numero Uno: Revolution is a process, not an event.

Loser Mentality and Winner Mentality. Those are real things. You win long enough, you figure out what it takes to win and you come to expect it. And you’re comfortable with it.

Oddly, same thing applies to Loser Mentality. Eventually, you prefer losing.

That’s the Right.

The Right is on the verge of a couple big things. I think. I hope.

1. Massive election losses for Democrats. Everyone is focused on Congress but this beating is going to go all the way down to the school board level.

2. A slowly emerging aggressive mentality from the New Right.

That’s a good thing. But there is going to be a frustrating thing for many on the Right. I know it will be frustrating for me. And that’s the Loser Mentality.

And to be clear, I’m for once not calling them losers. I mean, many are. But some are just a product of the Old Right.

If you’re on the Right, limited government and all that, you’ve never seen real wins in your lifetime. Not real wins. Sure, there’s been an election win you’ve celebrated. But if you’re alive to read this, government has never shrunk in your lifetime. Ever.

Which means you’ve grown up a loser. Always losing. Always told to wait for the next election. Always told giving the communists just a little more ground is the right thing to do.

And there’s something else:

Principles. You’ve heard this word endlessly. We can’t do this and we can’t do that and what’s the reason? Principles. It’s always principles.

And this is what I mean when I say I’m not calling them all losers.

Many on the Right believe that.

They’ve simply been raised in a political system where their job is to whine about Democrats and scream about things like “Hypocrisy!” and “Double standards!”. But that’s where it ends for them cause that’s what the Right has always been.

Even suggesting doing more than that is met with the indignant cries of “That’s not who we are!”.

THAT is loser mentality. It’s in our culture on the Right. It’s ingrained by now. Being “conservative” to the Right means whining while we lose. Nothing more.

And as we get BIG election wins, we better find a way to overcome that mentality. We are going to have opportunities we’ve never had before.

The communist won’t be our main enemy. Loser Mentality will.

Maybe so, maybe so. But we damned well better not repeat our habitual mistake of taking our eyes off the Red-menace beanball for even a moment, either. Wanna know what the vector usually is for the Commies to penetrate the defenses of their intended victims and gut them from inside their own walls? The one single thing The Enemy watches and waits for, his biggest opportunity to begin the incremental process that concludes with our utter destruction? The indispensable component in creating, nurturing, and disseminating of the Loser Mentality itself? Relaxation of the foeman’s vigilance against him, that’s what.

Yes, the Loser Mentality must be eradicated, and that right soon, if any tatterdemalion shreds of America That Was are to survive for much longer, their former glory perhaps eventually restored, if only partly. But let’s not forget that the samething holds true for the Commies as well; the question of which existential threat should be serviced first strikes me as akin to the old “the chicken or the egg” paradox, a debate I’ll cheerfully abstain from for the nonce. The main thing, the crucial thing right now is that Team Liberty gets out of bed and starts to move at last. If the freshly awakened Sleeping Giant merely yawns, scratches his ass, and flops back down to resume his slumber, the Loser Mentality will be part of our national character forever, the Red Menace will have defeated us decisively, sending all our forlorn hopes swirling right down the fucking drain.

Sean says one hell of a lot in relatively few words here, and kudos to him for making such a fine job. I particularly like that he eschews any mention of “The Republicans” in favor of “the Right” or “conservatives.” He appears to have reached the same conclusion about the Vichy GOPers as I have: they’re useless, and placing any faith whatsoever in those fake phony frauds is a mug’s game at this late date. To hell with them, sez I. They can all burn to a crispity crunch there for all me, which they definitely will do long before I ever reconsider the idea of taking up with them again.

Way to go, Joe!

Just assume when I say “Joe,” “Biden,” “Grampy Gropey,” etc from here on out I’m actually referring to the Men Behind The Curtain, awright?

Follows, several more Tweeter-Twats detailing the ziggurat of weaponry, vehicles, aircraft, artillery, &c abandoned in the Biden Boogaloo. Then J. Kb breaks it out for us.

Here is where this shit gets wild.

Top 10 Countries with the Highest Military Expenditures (2020):

  1. The United States — $778 Billion
  2. China — $252 Billion [Estimated]
  3. India — $72.9 Billion
  4. Russia — $61.7 Billion
  5. United Kingdom — $59.2 Billion
  6. Saudi Arabia — $57.5 Billion [Estimated]
  7. Germany — $52.8 Billion
  8. France — $52.7 Billion
  9. Japan — $49.1 Billion
  10. South Korea — $45.7 Billion

We left the Taliban with $84 Billion in weapons, equipment, and cash.

We made our 20 year enemy the third most funded military in the world in 2021.

I pay taxes and the President talks about wanting to take my guns away.

Fight a war against America for two decades and get left with enough military equipment to make yourself a regional super-power.

And not one person responsible will go to prison for this.

We’re so, so fucked.

Ain’t we, though. Ain’t we just. Not to worry, though, in a few more years we can probably beg the Afghanis to let us hitch a ride into orbit on one of their rockets. It’s not as if we never have done such a thing before, after all. Take it, DeeDee.

“A Handgun Against an Army”

This deathless Mike Vanderboegh essay still pops back up now and again; I’ve linked to it three or four times since it first appeared myself, and almost certainly will again.

A friend of mine owns an instructive piece of history. It is a small, crude pistol [see the image at the top of this post], made out of sheet-metal stampings by the U.S. during World War II. While it fits in the palm of your hand and is a slowly-operated, single-shot arm, its powerful .45 caliber projectile will kill a man with brutal efficiency. With a short, smooth-bore barrel it can reliably kill only at point blank ranges, so its use requires the will (brave or foolhardy) to get in close before firing. It is less a soldier’s weapon than an assassin’s tool. The U.S. manufactured them by the millions during the war, not for our own forces but rather to be air-dropped behind German lines to resistance units in occupied Europe and Asia. They cost exactly two dollars and ten cents to make.

Crude and slow (the fired case had to be knocked out of the breech by means of a little wooden dowel, a fresh round procured from the storage area in the grip and then manually reloaded and cocked. It was so wildly inaccurate it couldn’t hit the broad side of a French barn at 50 meters, but to the Resistance man or woman who had no firearm it still looked pretty darn good.

The theory and practice of it was this: First, you approach a German sentry with your little pistol hidden in your coat pocket and, with Academy-award sincerity, ask him for a light for your cigarette (or the time the train leaves for Paris, or if he wants to buy some non-army-issue food or a half-hour with your “sister”). When he smiles and casts a nervous glance down the street to see where his Sergeant is, you blow his brains out with your first and only shot, then take his rifle and ammunition. Your next few minutes are occupied with “getting out of Dodge,” for such critters generally go around in packs. After that (assuming you evade your late benefactor’s friends) you keep the rifle and hand your little pistol to a fellow Resistance fighter so he can go get his own rifle.

Or, maybe, you then use your rifle to get a submachine gun from the Sergeant when he comes running. Perhaps you get very lucky and pick up a light machine gun, two boxes of ammunition and a haversack of hand grenades. With two of the grenades and the expenditure of a half-a-box of ammunition at a hasty roadblock the next night, you and your friends get a truck full of arms and ammunition. (Some of the cargo is sticky with “Boche” blood, but you don’t mind, not terribly.)

Pretty soon you’ve got the best armed little maquis unit in your part of France, all from that cheap little pistol and the guts to use it. (One wonders if the current political elite’s opposition to so-called “Saturday Night Specials” doesn’t come from some adopted racial memory of previous failed tyrants. For even cheap little pistols are a threat to oppressive regimes.)

They called the pistol the “Liberator.” Not a bad name, all in all.

It’s a perfect name, actually. If you haven’t yet read this important work, be sure you don’t fail to now. One of Mike’s most stirring, poignant passages:

The tyrant must be met at the door when he appears. At your door, or mine, wherever he shows his bloody appetite. He must be met by the pistol which can defeat an army. He must be met at every door, for in truth we outnumber him and his henchmen.

It matters not whether they call themselves Communists or Nazis or something else. It matters not what flag they fly, nor what uniform they wear. It matters not what excuses they give for stealing your liberty, your property or your life. “By their works ye shall know them.” The time is late. Those who once had trouble reading the hour on their watches have no trouble seeing by the glare of the fire at Waco. Few of us realized at the time that the Constitution was burning right along with the Davidians.

Now we know better.

We have had the advantage of that horrible illumination for more than fifteen years now — fifteen years in which the rule of law and the battered old parchment of our beloved Constitution have been smashed, shredded and besmirched by the Clintonistas. In this process they have been aided and abetted by the cowardly incompetence and venal avarice of the Republican party. They have forgotten Daniel Webster’s warning: “Miracles do not cluster. Hold on to the Constitution of the United States of America and the Republic for which it stands — what has happened once in six thousand years may never happen again. Hold on to your Constitution, for if the American Constitution shall fail there will be anarchy throughout the world.”

Stirring, yes, although perhaps not in precisely the same way as when it was first published on Vanderboegh’s old site, Sipsey Street Irregulars, so many years ago; there’s a certain bitter flavor to it now as well, as we’ve been content to just sit idly back and watch so very much of what Mike warned us about come to pass, washing over us like the most dismal of tides. One final excerpt:

As a Christian, I cannot fear my own death, but rather I am commanded by my God to live in such a way as to make my death a homecoming. That this makes me incomprehensible and threatening to those who wish to be my masters is something I can do little about. I would suggest to them that they not poke their godless, tyrannical noses down my alley. As the coiled rattlesnake flag of the Revolution bluntly stated: “Don’t Tread on Me!” Or, as our state motto here in Alabama declares: “We Dare Defend Our Rights.”

But can a handgun defeat an army? Yes. It remains to be seen whether the struggle of our generation against the tyrants of our day in the first decade of the 21st Century will bring a restoration of liberty and the rule of law or a dark and bloody descent into chaos and slavery.

If it is to be the former, I will meet you at the new Yorktown.

If it is to be the latter, I will meet you at Masada.

But I will not be a slave.

Mike Vanderboegh died on his feet and not his knees—something that, as America That Was slips deeper into darkness and our time drip-drip-drips away, becomes more and more difficult to do. He was a skilled writer, and a passionate advocate for his nation, its proud history, and its Constitution. He was also a for-real, genuine Warrior, in all the best senses of the word. He left behind a mighty legacy for True Patriots and Freemen to profit from.

May you forever be at peace, my friend, bless your valiant soul.

Ask a stupid question

Oh come now, Professor Hanson, you’re smarter than this. If nothing else, you’ve been around long enough to know better.

The left-wing professional and political classes bequeathed a number of new protocols during the Trump derangement years. And it will be interesting to watch whether the Republicans abide by them in November should they take back the House and perhaps the Senate—and the presidency in 2024 as well.

Will they follow the New Testament’s turn-the-other-cheek forbearance, or go for Old Testament style eye-for-an-eye retribution?

Well gee, I dunno—have they ever? Even one blasted time? Have we any evidence at all to support believing in them now? A long list of similarly foolish questions follows, all of them equally easy to answer: No, they most certainly will not. They’re no more likely to upset any apple carts than the Washington Generals are, and for similar reasons: they don’t mind losing, having grown entirely comfortable with getting their asses kicked up between their shoulder blades in front of God and everybody by now. For the Vichy GOPe, the agony of defeat has definitely lost its sting. Long as they’re getting paid, well hey, it’s all good. Hell, losing is their job, when you get right down to it. It’s how they put bread on the family table, and what the hell is so wrong about that?

Vichy GOPers know their role well by now, and intend to stick to it. Having waved many a dire, scolding finger at the Demonrats myself in this space back when I was but an uncut stripling, cautioning them that this time—this time for SURE!—Repugnican phonies might very well decide to turn their own rules back on ’em at long last, only to look on in disgust as the Right Uniparty wing slinked docilely back en masse to their accustomed nosebleed-section seats with no action taken beyond the usual Big Fat Nothing, I almost have to believe that VDH is being sarcastic here, laughing slyly up his sleeve at how he’s taken the piss out of everybody. It’s either that, or he’s the world’s oldest naif, a 75-years-young Polly Pureheart still unstained by her many years of worldly experience and observation.

I mean, what the hell else could it be? We all already know the man ain’t no dummy, so that’s right out. Could be he was stymied by writer’s block (any of us writely sorts who claims he’s never had to ‘rassle that particular demon is just a damned liar, that’s all), was bumping up against a hard deadline, and simply punched this one out in his sleep. Whatever the case may be, bitterly clinging to questions as patently inane as these is can only make one look gullible, deceitful, careless, or just downright ign’ernt at the end of the day. Once again, I feel compelled to run this:

Kick, kick away

Liberalis agonistii

Mommy, it HUUUUUUURTS.

It has been unseasonably cold in Washington D.C. this spring. The blossoms on the cherry tree on my front lawn had barely bloomed when a cold snap and heavy wind-driven rain scattered the petals all over my front lawn. I stepped out front to pick up a box of herbs left there to be planted when a neighbor passed by.

I don’t know him very well, but his virtue signaling was a rather good clue as to where his sympathies lay. His lawn was peppered with signs: ”Biden-Harris,” “Hate has no Home Here,” “Build Bridges not Walls,” “Refugees Welcome Here,” “Climate Action Now,” “Gun Control Now,” “Black Lives Matter,” “Defund the Police.” By their lawn signs you shall know them, I thought. Still, I was polite — waved and said, ”Hi.”

He apparently had something on his chest he just had to get rid of and approached me.

“It’s Trump’s doing!” he shouted.

Nonplussed, I simply raised my eyebrows and let him continue.

“He only pretended to run against Biden. He wanted him to win!”

“Really?” I asked.

“It’s perfectly obvious. Getting Biden and Harris elected was his diabolical way of destroying the Democratic party for decades! They and the Democratic party’s policies are so stupid, the people can’t stand them. Can’t wait to get rid of them.”

I didn’t wish to disturb this already vexed man more, so, saying nothing, I tilted my head suggesting I wanted to hear more behind his tirade.

“I can’t think of a thing Biden’s done which doesn’t make life worse for everyone. He’s losing Black and Hispanic voters and even suburban White women with this craziness. He’s paving the way for Iran to get nuclear weapons and upset the peace in the Middle East, to detriment of our allies. He’s stirring up Putin in a way that may lead to World War III. He’s thrown out so much money that inflation is soaring, and average people are finding it hard to put food on the tables and a roof over their heads.

“Crime,” he muttered. “It’s out of control. This defund the police stuff is ridiculous. Five cars were broken into on this block in the last two weeks. There was a multiple shooting in the motel where the government has been housing the homeless three blocks away the week before. I’ve never seen anything like that in this neighborhood before!” (I looked again over his shoulder. The “Gun Control Now” sign had also vanished from his lawn.)

Aww, what a shame Shitlib Neighbor has to live in the dreadful conditions created for him by his own kindred Komrades and Kommissars. Some advice foor ya, Commieboy: next time someone tries to explain the suicidal folly baked right into your ideological cake, only to wind up losing patience, closing out the whole pointless exercise by calling you an imbecile and stalking off all purple-faced looking for something to punch a hole into, maybe you should try listening for a change.

“And then there are the absolutely moronic things he and Harris say. This week he said that if we buy electric vehicles, we’ll save about $80 a month on gas. But those cars on average cost $56,000, a great deal more than conventional cars, and electricity — largely produced by fossil fuels — costs more because he’s made it more expensive by hamstringing the production of gas, coal, and oil. So even if his calculation were true, it would take decades for someone to afford to purchase an electric vehicle to achieve such savings.

Aww, too bad; things had been going so well up to that point. But when she put factual words into her clearly fictitious liberal’s mouth, Clarice well and truly screwed the pooch and ruptured her verisimilitude altogether; as we all know, liberals DON’T KNOW ANY FACTS. In fact, shitlibs deeply loathe and fear them] like the cancer, scuttling away at high speed to the nearest available Safe Space™ at the merest suggestion that a Fact™ might be skulking about in their vicinity, rushing to bar all doors and windows, turning off the lights, then hiding in a closet or under a desk until the dangerous Microagressor™ has passed. Nothing wrong with a good yarn, of course, and Feldman always was a skilled spinner of ’em. But dammit, don’t piss down my leg and tell me it’s raining, ol’ girl. You can’t kid a kidder, y’know.

Unreal

This is fine.

Now, some booming economy deniers, Russian bots or anti-vaxxers will doubtless point to all the “evidence” that the US economy is not booming.

They’ll probably point out that inflation is at a 40 year high, and likely to keep on rising.

That the current price of gas is the highest ever in US history.

That the US is expected to enter a recession by the end of the year.

Several more cheery items full of optimism, hope, and positive waves follow before we get to the root of most, if not all, of or problems.

…that’s enough sarcasm for now. It’s time to circle back to reality, because that is what’s missing here.

Reality.

People cannot afford gas or heat or food or rent. The price of everything is increasing even as wages lag behind inflation. Everywhere you shop you buy less and spend more.

If all of that can be translated into “booming”, then “the economy” itself becomes a nonsense concept so abstract and removed from real-life experience that it is either entirely fictional or completely irrelevant.

We just lived through a fake pandemic. We know we have rigged elections. “The economy” is apparently meaningless.

How much of what we see and hear in the mass media has any grounding in reality at all? We know it’s not 100%, and it could easily be as little as none.

Whatever the unreality quotient is, I think it’s safe to say that it’s one HELL of a lot closer to the latter figure than the first one. And that’s just for Establishment Media; the Left is well into the negative numbers by now, actively sucking the very fabric of reality into its own nothingness like a black hole.

Though it’s gonna be a tough thing to do, I’ll lay off the excerpting here. Dark as it is, this one is absolutely a Do. Not. MISS. Hie thyselves thither and partake of it, gang, for it is damned good. Bottom line:

It’s not accidental, it’s not a by-product of “the system”, it’s not the inevitable fallout of capitalism – it is directed, deliberate and malign. They are trying to make you poor, they said so.

They want you to suffer. They want you to be cold and hungry and not to mind, or even know.

They want you sitting in your rented one-room flat, shivering under fifty layers of rented clothes, sipping your rented cup of GMO-cabbage water, and nodding in approval because the rented television says the economy is doing well.

They want you to “reject the evidence of your ears and eyes”, because making people believe a lie – especially an obvious, irrational, impossible lie – is the purest form of power and the ultimate form of control.

Annnnd bingo. Nothing to add from here.

Popular as the cancer

Remember, folks: this is the guy who we’re supposed to believe got well over 81k votes in 2020, winning that election fair and square—no fraud, no cheating. The most votes in US history. More, even, than Ogabe did.

Yeah, right.

Ace closes his post with a little analysis, which you should certainly read. But really, that vid is enough to tell us all we need to know.

Your cash ain’t nothing but trash

The idea of a cashless society has long been one of the Left’s brass rings, in accordance with the incrementalist strategy which facilitates their Marxist takeover of America that Was—a so-far successful soft coup which is now in its very last stages.

Central bank digital currencies (CBDC’s) have been spoken of in theoretical terms for many years, but they’re now becoming reality. Three nations, including China, have already introduced them on a limited scale, and the USA is actively considering it too. They promise (or should that be “threaten”?) a whole new way of managing our money – or, rather, letting the powers that be manage how much we have and what we do with it.

CBDC is effectively the most sweeping control measure yet considered by a government over its citizens – so much so that they may devolve from ‘citizens’ into ‘subjects’, because their spending (and thus their actions and freedom of expression) might be subject to far stricter control, if a government wishes to exercise it. That’s what China has done with its social credit system. If the “woke” mentality prevails in this country, you can imagine how much power CBDC’s would give to those who want to crush individual rights and freedoms.

The trouble is, the sheer size of modern populations may make something like a CBDC inevitable. Take, for example, the growing pressure to introduce some form of Universal Basic Income allowance. In an era of massive unemployment, with little prospect of enough jobs being created to absorb people back into the workforce, UBI may be unavoidable – although one hopes it would fold into itself all the other allowances, grants, benefits and entitlement programs currently proliferating all over the sociopolitical landscape. If UBI were to incorporate and replace Social Security, welfare payments, and they many other government payments and allowances out there, it would be both easier to fund and produce a greatly streamlined system of state assistance. However, to do so, it would have to be centrally controlled, with measures to limit fraud and ensure prompt distribution of benefits. A CBDC is probably the single most efficient way to do that, and politicians and bureaucrats will emphasize that. (Also, of course, politicians and bureaucrats will consider a CBDC’s potential for social control to be a feature, not a bug. Their minds work that way.)

Well, naturally. An insatiable lust for boundless power and control over others is the central cog in the psychological machinery of such people. It’s what drives them to seek work in government at any level, what gets them out of bed every morning—their raison d’etre, the fundamental motivation for everything they think, say, and do. It’s the heart’s blood of every bully, every thug, every despot. If they didn’t think that way, they’d be something other than what they truly are. And the rest of us would be soooooo much better off for it, too.

Is it Dictatorship yet?

Wilder, wise feller that he is, says we meet seven out of a possible seven criteria.

And that’s just since December of 2019. It’s interesting just how much Donald Trump, despite not really achieving much of lasting note, upset the system. Trump didn’t restore law and order. Heck, he couldn’t even restore Firefly. But yet, they were willing to take off the mask just to get him out.

The end state is what we’re really interested in – the failure of government, the loss of hope, and the dependence on someone, anyone, to save them. All they have to surrender is control. And, in the United States that doesn’t necessarily mean the same party – in many ways the GOP is just the “for God’s sake, don’t put me in charge, they’ll expect me to do something” wing of the Democratic Party.

The Strong Man himself is certainly out there right now. He might be unknown to us, but he is building, biding his time. It’s almost certainly not AOC, since she’s not anyone’s idea of a problem solver unless your problem is needing a Margarita, no salt. It’s not someone too old like Bernie Sanders who will turn to dust if Sunlight ever hits him – which is why he has coffins in the basement of the multiple mansions he owns.

It’s certainly not the Ad Libber in Chief, since he (like his pants) is in the process of being dumped (you don’t think those releases about Hunter’s laptop are coincidental, do you?). No, someone young, vigorous, yet already sold to The Narrative. Dan Crenshaw (World Economic Forum™ Young Leader®), my eye is on you.

But it doesn’t have to be Dan. Any man who has The Plan, charisma, and reasonable personal hygiene (including regular showers) might become the Strong Man. It won’t be a woman: the masculinity of the “tough” solutions will be a part of the sales pitch, along with the ever so regretful admission that temporary controls are needed to restore the abundance of the past.

So, control is surrendered. Rights are conditional –rights will be honored as long as it is convenient, ignored, or suppressed when not. The budding Kommissars of Australia provided the poster child for the sudden evaporation of rights when inconvenient for government. In a continent where every insect is an inexhaustible vat of poison, every animal has fangs and can disembowel a man with a kick, and the nectar of half the plants does things that would make H.P. Lovecraft shudder, who knew that the most dangerous creatures were…government employees?

I’m thinking we probably coulda guessed before now, based on available evidence. Certainly, there’s no longer any excuse for not being aware of it now.

The two errors that robbed us of our country

Our current Constitutional contretemps has a two-pronged origin. First: the remarkably successful Gramscian infiltration and eventual takeover of American institutions, the schools in particular. Second: the rise of a professional-politician class, what I usually call the ProPols, something the Founders warned us explicitly and specifically about, again and again and again.

The Founding Fathers Would Have Gagged at the Idea of Legislators for Life
The Founding Fathers would have been appalled at the idea of legislators for life. When the Constitution was adopted, “public servant’ was more than a euphemism.

Leaders were expected to serve because it was their patriotic duty. They would leave their farms, shops and offices for a term or two, and then go back home to live among those they’d governed under the laws they had fashioned.

Today, they make a pilgrimage to the Golden Temple on Capitol Hill and stay, and stay, and stay.

I was originally going to excerpt a much bigger chunk of this one, until I realized that the above will be plenty and enough to adequately pique your interest.

Welcome to Wrist Slap City

Guilty as hell, free as a bird.

FEC Fines Clinton, Dems for Debunked Dossier
The Federal Election Commission fined the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign more than $100,000 for secretly funding opposition research that falsely accused Donald Trump of colluding with Russia.

The commission fined the treasurers of the DNC and Clinton campaign for “misreporting the purpose of certain disbursements” related to the infamous Steele dossier, according to a ruling released on Wednesday. The DNC and Clinton campaign paid more than $1 million in 2016 to fund the dossier project, but labeled the payments as legal expenses. The commission fined the DNC and Clinton campaign $105,000 and $8,000, respectively.

Disgusting, infuriating, absolutely disgraceful. No wonder We The People’s trust and faith in the fundamental integrity of their federal government is draining away faster with every passing day, like dirty dishwater schlurrrping down a brand-new sink drain. How very sad it is to have to admit that—with each fresh outrage against decency, each successive breach of the explicitly-defined boundaries of its Constitutional remit—only an abject imbecile would swallow a single word these audacious vermin vomit forth.

Spells nothing whatsoever hopeful regarding the admittedly way-slim likelihood of seeing Hunter Biden doing the Leg Iron Shuffle, either. Takes the air right out of this, too.

I’m with Morphius here.

SO, then. A lousy hundred grand pried from a rich bitch’s purse, a piffling sum she’ll never even notice is missing, exacted in “punishment” for a manifestly unlawful and consequential offense which William Barr correctly described this way:

Attorney General William Barr said that the FBI investigation into the Trump campaign in 2016 was “one of the greatest travesties in American history.”

The attorney general told Fox News on April 9 that he is troubled by the findings from the ongoing investigation into the FBI by U.S. Attorney John Durham, who is looking into the origins of the probe as well as what the bureau did after Donald Trump was elected president.

“My own view is that the evidence shows that we’re not dealing with just the mistakes or sloppiness,” Barr told Fox News’s Laura Ingraham. “There was something far more troubling here. We’re going to get to the bottom of it. And if people broke the law and we can establish that with the evidence, they will be prosecuted.”

“What happened to him was one of the greatest travesties in American history—without any basis, they started this investigation of his campaign,” Barr said.

“And even more concerning, actually, is what happened after the campaign. A whole pattern of events while he was president to sabotage the presidency or at least have the effect of sabotaging the presidency.”

What it was, in truth, was a fucking attempted coup—a for-real case of no-nonsense, full-bore sedition,; raw treason in broad daylight, brazen and unembarrassed, before which the J6 “rioters” can but respectfully bow their heads in awe. Hillary Clinton and her cabal, in collusion with co-conspirators at the highest levels of the US government itself, did in fact plot with foreign nationals to topple a duly-elected and sworn President, nullifying the votes of millions of Americans. It’s an all the more heinous crime because it strikes at the very heart of everything America is supposed to represent, undermining if not outright obliterating the very concept of American self-government for all time. Political crimes just don’t come any more serious than that.

Yet still the witless Swamp creatures persist, studiously hacking away at their own credibility, as if the complete loss of the consent of the governed couldn’t ever have any impact on them. Thou fools. Thou purblind, arrogant fools, to imagine that the time can never come when the American people you’ve wronged over and again will rise up to avenge the long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object you inflicted on them.

Yeah, tell me again all about how important it is that we scrupulously maintain a firm faith in the basic integrity, honesty, and moral probity of the US federal government, whydon’tcha. That one’s my favorite.

At the start of a long, dark road

As I keep saying.

Two Years After Lockdowns, The West’s Troubles Aren’t Ending — They’re Just Beginning
Two years ago this week, the United States shut down. Churches, schools and businesses went dark. Weddings, funerals, and birthdays went silent. City streets stood empty, with an eeriness closer resembling occupied Paris than the bustling hubs they’d been just days before.

Two years later, as the last of the mask mandates for school children falter and crack, it’s tempting to believe our nightmare is finally over. Just as the disease is going to haunt us a long while, however, so too will the effects of how we tried to fight it.

Americans’ relationships with our politicians, bureaucrats, schools, media, police, and churches are fundamentally altered. Indeed, the entire West’s relationships with these major segments of society are forever remade. As we look out on the wreckage of two years of Covid policies, as well as our spiking fuel prices, rocketing inflation, a contested election, a Chinese Olympics, and a land war in Europe, it’s increasingly clear that, far from standing at the end of a dark era, our civilization teeters unsteadily at the very beginning of one.

It’s hard to notice at first. The modern West has become so accustomed to a slow, steady decline — the kind Merle Haggard sang about, and Ronald Reagan ran against — that complaining about it has become cliché; like the angry old man waving his cane.

More than that, it’s very tempting to view the past two years as separate from our other major problems. But just as Black Tuesday began an era marked by the Depression, the Dust Bowl, the New Deal, the Second World War, and a fundamental reshaping of the American life, so too will the Lockdowns mark the start of a ride we can’t get off.

Even in states that have long since shrugged off the bureaucrats’ Covid demands, trust is broken. The people had believed in March 2020 that if they did their parts, all would soon be well. As President Calvin Coolidge famously said, “The chief ideal of the American people is idealism…[and] the chief business of the American people is business.”

Neither Americans’ idealism nor our industry were rewarded, however. From March 2020 on, ours was rule not by people, but by bureaucratic diktat.

Our politicians betrayed us: flying abroad, getting haircuts, going maskless, holding parties, and dining out while also closing schools, forbidding gatherings, banning amenities, and demonizing all who resisted — or even questioned — their orders.

Our corporate media betrayed us: propping up liars and fools, tearing down all who spoke against their champions, and spreading fear and hatred of dissent as far and wide as their words would carry.

Our teachers betrayed us: using Covid to gain a grab bag of vacation time, control over parents, wage hikes, and other unrelated perks, all while punishing school children with years of masks, separation — and the educational and developmental retardation those rules cost.

Even our much-vaunted hospital workers betrayed us: keeping dying husbands from their dying wives, grown children from their elderly parents, brothers from their sisters, and babies from their mothers — all to ensure “Covid safety.”

As hard as it seems, much of this might be good. Not that our politicians, media, teachers, and health care are broken — as the most important essay of 2021 laid bare — but that Americans now recognize just how broken they all are.

A most excellent essay, one I can’t recommend to you CF scapegraces highly enough. I don’t really have anything to add myself in the way of commentary; Bedford pretty much said it all, and said it quite damned well, too. Most of it we’ve already covered here anyway, enough so that I’m starting to feel like Chris’s “angry old man waving his cane.” Although I admit that could also possibly be due to my being…well, an angry old man. No cane at the moment—although with the fake leg coming along in the next several days (or so I’ve been told), I’m going to have to get myself one soon.

Anger ain’t enough

Biden prattles inanely on “democracies at an inflection” point, ignoring the beam in his own eye. Sundance ain’t having any of it.

I know Emmanuel Macron, Boris Johnson, Jacinda Ardern, Scott Morrison, Justin Trudeau and Joe Biden himself, would like to think that we do not remember the past two years of complete unilateral dictatorship they enjoyed while hiding behind the shield of “emergency authorizations,” but this is one website that will continue to document – for the historical record – the brutal reality of these pontificating liars.

Do they really think we have forgotten how they never once asked the representative government for authorization before triggering their unilateral fiats? The economic lockdowns, the loss of liberty, the collapse of freedom, the shutting down of any form of petition for grievance, the use and weaponization of the regulatory system, the manipulation of courts, the unilateral mask and vaccination mandates, the demands for compliance to some of the most ridiculous rules and regulations, and yes, even the lies and double-standards they applied to the masses while they themselves ignored the rules they forced upon everyone else…Do they really thing we have forgotten this?

There’s a lot of white-hot anger amid the citizenry of those aforementioned nations, righteous anger – yet these government creatures of entitlement stand on a soapbox today and decry autocracy and/or oligarchs.

Seriously?

The sad, sorry fact is they don’t care whether we’ve forgotten or not. We laid down for them and let them have their way with us with very little resistance, a passivity that made them bold.

Few things raise the anger of people to a level where foul language is the better option than the physical violence that might surface without it, but this level of hypocrisy and pretense is surely one of them.

To all the leaders of various “western democracies” who will now clutch their pearls as the backlash from the brutalized citizens starts to come full circle, you did this to yourself.

No one is to blame other than Biden, Trudeau, Ardern, Morrison, Macron, Johnson et al and the leaders of NATO who now suddenly need the support of the citizens they abused in order to fend off their new enemy, Vladimir Putin.

Western government leaders intentionally and willfully positioned themselves as the enemy of freedom. They do not now get to grab back the torch of liberty and wield it as a talking point weapon against totalitarianism.

And yet…that is exactly what they’re doing. They’ll keep right on doing it, too, unless and until they get themselves badly burned by having a righteous, searing blast of that “white-hot anger” turned on ’em. Anger is a fine and useful thing; talk, likewise, is a fine and useful thing. But at some point, anger loses its power; talk curdles into mere bluster, more impediment than inspiration. The Enemy has been more than sufficiently apprised of our displeasure. His response has been to double down, to tighten the screws further still. Thus, we find the hour of decision upon us: Will we, or won’t we? A nation entire holds its collective breath, awaiting the fateful answer.

The future is FemiNazi

And it ain’t pretty.

The long march through the institutions has been not only of the Left but also of women taking over key positions in the West’s governments, courts and public prosecutor’s offices, police and the military, media and entertainment, schools and universities – with long term results, I aver, that do not bode well for Western Civilization. The leap on the Left has been from the male-run orthodox Marxism to the female-driven, “compassionate” Cultural Marxism of “Social Justice.” Conservatives, as usual, just got played.

The American military has unveiled new pregnancy uniforms while the Chinese military has unveiled new exoskeleton uniforms that allow a soldier to carry more gear into combat. A few years ago, a composite photo composite below circulated on the Internet. It showed Europe’s five female Ministers of Defense versus the martial machos in charge of China’s and Russia’s militaries, the phalanx of bemedaled men-generals standing behind every successive ruler of North Korea or the ruling mullahs of Iran. And that picture of Yin-sickened West did not even include socialist Spain’s very pregnant Minister of Defense Carme Chacon in a billowing maternity dress, reviewing a lineup of erect soldiers.

Metrosexual Obama, stamped from the same mold that would soon disgorge Canada’s Justin Trudeau, delighted in placing the most unsuitable women in the most improbable and important positions. Consider “Team Obama”: Hillary Clinton, Samantha Power, Susan Rice, and Obama’s grey eminence Valerie Jarrett huddling at the UN General Assembly Hall. At least three of them were architects of the string of catastrophes that Obamerica’s support of the “Arab Spring” and betrayal of friendly tyrants Muammar Gaddafi in Libya, Bashar al-Assad in Syria, and Hosni Mubarak in Egypt proved to be for their country, for the world, for tens of thousands of Arab dead, and for millions of Arab refugees.

Consider Obama’s declaration of contempt for reality and for his country by making of Janet Napolitano the U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security. Merkel-like, Napolitano was more concerned with “rightwing extremists” than with Muslim terrorists. She greatly “improved” homeland security by replacing references to acts of terrorism with the term “man-caused disasters” and sabotaging the enforcement of US immigration laws in any way she could. However, she worked toward the female future by passing over qualified men to place women in key security and immigration enforcement roles, including ICE chief of staff, Suzanne Barr who created a working environment “targeted to humiliate and intimidate male employees.”(3) That proved such a smashing success that Nancy Faeser, a Socialist who supports Antifa, is now the head of the Federal Police and Homeland Security of Germany and obsessed, of course, with “rightwing extremism.”

Is there NO modern disaster, failure, or crisis that the jug-eared, slope-shouldered specter of Obama doesn’tfloat phantasmagorically behind?

In June, 2019 Theresa May ended her pitiful time as Britain’s Prime Minister, having applied in a typically upside-down manner the mailed fist to Britons protesting the multiculti destruction of their country but the powder puff to disdainful Angela Merkel and the blackmailing EU in Brexit negotiations. May knew only one way against Britain’s enemies: surrender. Before she was forced by enraged Britons to resign, she had agreed to pay the EU a ransom of 39 billion pounds for the privilege of ending the UK’s vassalage to the Spinellian behemoth in Brussels. Her way of dealing with Muslim terrorism was to wear the hijab as often as a photo-op availed and to avoid dealing with Muslim terrorism or even naming it as such. (5)

All too many dismaying examples follow, leading to a depressing denouement.

America’s and Europe’s top levels in politics and governance are filled with highly educated women who seemingly cannot think and have no idea what human reality is—though it’s as elementary as Newton’s laws of motion applied to human affairs. They are zealously fanatic in their quest to remake the world according to their impulses of estrogenic social justice. They are also aggressively totalitarian and respond to criticism with hysterical hyperbole.

The European Union’s and all of Western Europe’s rule by Cultural Marxist women and their properly tamed and trained male subordinates is virtually sewn up. Barring violent upheavals by man or nature, America’s is locked in similarly, though the Trump bump obscured it for a while. The consequences can be projected too.

Quite a bleak projection it is, too. Here’s the most crucial, telling bit:

Eighty-nine percent of teachers in US public primary schools and 64% in secondary education are female. (29) 50% of college and university faculty are female (30) and it’s much more than that in the chief brainwash disciplines like psychology, English literature, gender studies, feminist studies, and all other Critical Theory areas. 82.8% of Social Work PhD students are female (31). 71% of psychology PhDs are women (32). It’s 61.3% in Social and Behavioral “Sciences” in general, 67.8% in Education, and 76.2% – God help us – in Public Administration. (32) To understand what a Doctor of Public Administration is let’s visit the web page of one such program, at Walden University: “Drive positive social change with a top-level degree,” “Learn to better serve diverse populations” (33) – you see where this is going.

America’s teachers’ unions: National Education Teachers’ Association (NEA) and American Federation of Teachers (AFT), filled with women, are perhaps the most powerful far-Left political force in the country; their members are directly responsible for training the last two generations of woke Zombies who are destroying the United States.

These are the places where our battle will be won or lost. I’ve been pounding my shoe on the tabletop and yelling about this very thing for many years now. Something else I’ve ruefully maintained along with it: Antonio Gramsci was a fucking GENIUS. If you don’t know who he is, educate thyself, young ‘un. There’s simply no way to fully understand Amerika v2.0 unless you understand himfirst.

Fix: STILL IN

American “election” reform? Don’t make me laugh.

OUTRAGE: To Date Not One Single Independent, Objective and Complete Audit of Dominion Voting Machines Used in the 2020 Election Has Taken Place

Gee, how very shocking and unforeseeable. Never saw that coming, nosirreebob.

Dominion voting machines were used across the country in the 2020 election, not in all states but in many. But these machines have not been completely audited by independent and objective experts at any location since the 2020 Election.

To good Americans, it is outrageous that the Dominion machines have not been completely audited by objective and independent auditors or investigators. It’s high time that this takes place.

Unfortunately, there’s far too few of us left to make it hpppen.

The whole “election” brouhaha is so sleep-inducing at this point it’s now the most powerful and effective anti-insomnia drug since Sominex. The only remotely interesting aspects left at this point, at least for me, are what time blue-state vote-tallying will be shut down this time; what laughable, credulity-reaming excuse they’ll offer for doing so; and how long will Leftymedia wait before jumping in with both boots to pooh-pooh even the most lackadaisical suggestion that hey, the “election” just might, just maybe, just possibly may not have been strictly on the up and up as merely the booze-fed raving of conspiracy-mongering cranks, paranoiacs, terrorists, and wild-eyed insurrectionists seeking to topple the government of Our Sacred Democracy, each and every one of whom of right ought to be summarily hanged without benefit of trial for their treason.

And then we’ll all just calm the fuck down, shut the fuck up, and get the fuck back to business as usual again. Y’know, just like the last time the Demonrats brazenly and audaciously yanked an election right out from under our feet, thumbed their nose at us, and then skated away clean as a whistle, with Official Authority at every level unabashedly proclaiming No Harm, No Foul, No Fiurther Questions, Thanks. Hell, this time around we’ll probably have become so inured to the swindle there won’t be even one hopeless hail-Mary lawsuit filed, I betcher. The Citadel of Democracy will remain safe, sacrosanct, and undefiled this time. There will be no Congresscreatures crouching under tables, hiding from their despised constituents and sweating copiously in fear for their lives. No bumbling Keystone Kapital Kops Korps butterbar looey will feel it necessary to murder an innocent, unarmed, and entirely harmless female citizen in cold blood.

On the brighter side of the whole mess, Offissa Pup will not be honored this time with an official proclamation of weak-kneed gratitude from shamefaced government officials, complete with the obligatory Scroll of Heroism, dewy-eyed praise of his boundless courage in the swift and sure adminstration of Justice, By God! sung in every corner of a supportive “news” media, a cooperative commentariat, and both wings of a complicit Uniparty establishment. EVERY corner, so as to be sure no Joe Sixpack lunkhead, the intellectually-dull sort of oaf who might be relied upon to be in agreement with those murderous Jan 6 radicals, will miss the point.

The resultant stench rising off this Swampy shitfling will be foul beyond enduring. So we have THAT to look forward to, I guess.

Update! I’ve argued before a couple-three times that the only way to minimize vote fraud and meaningfully reform our elections, here or anywhere, is actually quite simple:

  1. Use ONLY paper ballots, marked and counted by hand
  2. Vote ONLY on election day
  3. Require valid ID and proof of voter registration
  4. Voter MUST present himself bodily at his designated polling station—mail-in ballots limited strictly to military personnel, diplomats and emnbassy staff, and people abroad for business purposes, in a strictly-enforced and brief timeframe
  5. Election observers MUST be present—FROM ALL PARTIES— at polling places and, later, at counting stations, allowed unfettered access for close observation of all procedures, personnel, and materials
  6. NO electronic voting or counting machines—NONE, EVER
  7. After voting, participants will receive an indelible mark on their thumb comfirming they’d already cast their ballot, disqualifying them from doing so again

Of course, none of that will work unless and until the Democrat Party (slogan: Election Thievery Since Boss Tweed!) is destroyed utterly, the earth under its mortal remains salted, scorched, and sanctified by a qualified priest or exorcist. It’s long been my opinion that, when it comes to elections, technology is NOT our friend; the old, tested and true methods are best.

Looks like I might have to rethink that opinion.

You may not yet have heard about the brilliance of Redo Voting, but it’s the latest rage in Washington, D.C. Everyone is talking about it.
You’ve heard a lot about “chain of custody” problems in the 2020 election. With Redo Voting, chain of custody is no longer an issue. It is 100% guaranteed from the printer right through exhaustion of post-election excuses. You cast your vote on a secure .gov domain website, and no one but you touches your ballot.

It can be used to vote in person or from anywhere on the planet. Here is how that aspect works:
You get a scratch-off “ballot” (again, based on the same technology as a lottery scratch-off ticket) from any retail store, scratch it, and scan the QR code underneath with your phone (you can also enter the info into your home computer browser).

  • Your browser is then directed to a state.gov website.
  • Eligible registered voters cast their votes.
  • The vote is private, secure, and sent directly to a secure database. It cannot be altered or deleted.

When voting is closed, the secretary of State applies a decryption key to the repository and tallies the votes in seconds. She/he can give the key to anyone who wants to see the results (including voters). The tallies can’t be altered.

After a quick scan of the article, I haven’t been able to find a reason to object. It’s a clever melding of old ideas and new tech, and it looks pretty damned good to me. Read the whole thing, it’ll brighten your whole day.
