Denounce THIS

Sadly, I think the Proud Boys’ leadership stumbled badly on this one.

Enrique Tarrio insists that the Proud Boys aren’t White supremacists, and he would be in a position to know. For one, he’s the international chairman. For another, he’s Black.

“I denounce White supremacy,” Mr. Tarrio said in a Thursday interview with WSVN-TV in Miami. “I denounce anti-Semitism. I denounce racism. I denounce fascism. I denounce communism and any other -ism that is prejudiced toward people because of their race, religion, culture, tone of skin.”

Mr. Tarrio headed the rising tide of those defending the Proud Boys against accusations of racism after President Trump came under fire for refusing to denounce the right-wing activist group at Tuesday’s debate.

In Salt Lake City, Proud Boys members held a joint news conference Wednesday with a local Black Lives Matter leader to correct the record and “denounce White supremacy.”

Dude, wrong answer. You NEVER apologize to these scum; NEVER justify yourself; NEVER try to appease them; NEVER give a single inch or back down to them in any form or fashion; NEVER legitimize them by responding as if you actually take them seriously, or even consider them worthy of a moment’s notice.

Instead, you HAMMER them. You keep pounding away at them relentlessly, ceaselessly, ruthlessly. You show them no mercy, not ever, not the least little bit, not for one second. There is only one proper response to the accusations, the slanders, the lies. It consists of but two little words:

FUCK.

YOU.

If you like, up the ante by hurling their accusations right back in their teeth: YEAH, I’M A GODDAMNED WHITE SUPREMACIST. I’m a racist, homophobe, transphobe, misogynist, Islamophobe, et al ad infinitum. What of it? NOW what, douchebag? Rile them up further yet by throwing in a casual “nigger,” “faggot,” “bitch,” “raghead,” “freak,” and such-like if you feel like really chumming the water. Lather, rinse, repeat, until you’ve fucked with their heads so badly they can do no more than splutter and choke with confused, vein-popping rage in response.

And then give them the most supercilious, insulting little smirk you can produce, and walk away. You’ve just demonstrated, beyond any possible doubt, just how deep your contempt for them really runs, just how little regard you hold for any halfwit opinion or belief they may cherish.

See, the moment you give Leftards the satisfaction of agreeing to “denounce” whatever stupid-ass thing it is that they insist you denounce is the moment you lose. You’ve conceded their premise, which amounts to agreeing to play THEIR game, on THEIR field, by THEIR rules. And for what? It will buy you nothing. You can be sure that they’ll be back again and again, bringing more hoops for you to jump through. Their demands will only escalate, forever and ever. No matter what you do or say, no matter how severely you debase yourself in hopes of a little peace and quiet, it will never, ever be enough to placate them.

Don’t believe me? You might ask one Donald J Trump about it.

“Trump is a Racist” has been trending on Twitter following Tuesday’s presidential debates, despite President Donald Trump denouncing white supremacy and white nationalists again and again over the years, revealing that the mainstream media has traded what is true for what they want to believe.

Twitter user James Klüg posted a video on Twitter Wednesday evening, stitching together 17 times Trump has publicly denounced white supremacy and white nationalism over the years.

And even that list is almost certainly not all-inclusive.

But still they hound the man. In fact, some of the very same Leftymedia assholes currently indignant over Trump’s OUTRAGEOUS!! “refusal” to “denounce white supremacy” have personally heard him do exactly that before:

They’re lying, they know they’re lying, and they don’t care who knows they’re lying. So fuck them all to hell and gone. Don’t play the game; it’s rigged, and was never a very interesting or amusing one anyway. Give them a hearty FOAD, accompanied by the Hawaiian Good Luck Sign just for added emphasis, and then go find yourself somebody you might actually be able to have a worthwhile conversation with instead. Life’s too short to waste any of it fooling around with shitlibs and their “demands.”

Who’s laughing now?

Trump and his supporters have all the fun.

If there is anything President Donald Trump enjoys more than a rally, it’s a political victory. Tonight in Middletown, Pennsylvania, just outside Harrisburg, he had both. Fresh off his announcement that Amy Coney Barrett will be his historic third Supreme Court nominee, Trump headed to the Keystone State to celebrate with several thousand of his most dedicated supporters.

It is hard to underestimate what a shot in the arm the Supreme Court nomination and the impending confirmation fight has been for the president and his supporters. It is as convincing a conservative victory as the GOP has seen in some time, and it could not have come at a better time. Under gray clouds of impending rain, the crowd braved the skies and the president’s questionable musical tastes — Backstreet Boys? Really? — to see their champion.

About two hours before the president spoke, the music stopped and the big screen displayed the White House where Trump introduced the new justice-to-be to thunderous applause. If there was any question as to whether his supporters were digging the selection, those were put quite to bed.

One of the special moments of an airport Trump rally is the arrival of Air Force One. It is difficult to imagine a more dramatic entrance, and if it is an unfair advantage of incumbency, then Trump is not shy about using it. The crowd exploded at the sight of it, but not quite as much as they did when he finally took the podium in a drizzle, abandoning his umbrella, and announced Barrett’s name. Trump is not always one to share the spotlight, but tonight he seemed glad to.

Despite some tech difficulties, resulting in chants of “We can’t hear” and “Turn it up,” the crowd was jubilant, and Trump even seemed to raise his own generally loud voice in response. Nothing seems to dampen Trump’s parties.

There’s a good, and obvious, reason for that: Leftists are dour, miserable wretches. They hate their country. They hate their countrymen. They hate freedom. They hate guns. They hate cops. They hate having to live under a Constitution that, however badly it’s been weakened, is yet functional enough to provide some small protection against their ability to rule over We The Inferior absolutely.

They hate prosperity. They hate the internal combustion engine. They hate air conditioning, and the coal-fired power plants that provide reliable electric power to run it. They hate the Big Agriculture complex that feeds an entire planet. They hate music that has anything resembling a coherent, pleasant melody. They hate individuality, noncomformity, and independent thought. They hate Big Macs, or any food that actually tastes good. They hate heterosexuals. They hate normal, happy, traditional families. They hate freedom of speech, and of religion.

The list goes on and on, but perhaps even more than all of that, they hate that so many of us remain perfectly free to reject them, to denounce them, to mock them, and to refuse to join them in their lifelong immersion in pure, abject frustration and despair, like all Good People should. Don Surber provides us with a little compare-contrast between the two irreconcilable types:

That vid manages to be two things at once: 1) the most entertaining political ad EVAR, and B) a wicked, mortal slash across the Left’s jugular. And then you see this:

Yeah, I know which side I want to hang out on. As Bill Murray so memorably put it in Stripes:

Back to Surber for the wrap-up:

I concluded today’s Highlights of the News with the Texas Reloaded ad because it was fun. I want to go back to it because, well, the ad was fun, and fun is what Trump supporters are having this year.

People get the parody. People identify with the ad. People want to be part of the team because the team is having fun.

And as the headline says, Trump supporters are having all the fun. They get to hold rallies. They get to see their candidate belittle the media. They get to enjoy watching Wile E. Coyote Democrats blow themselves up again and again. I truly believe now that all Acme Products are made in Red China.

There is nothing Democrats can do to stop Republicans from making the Supreme Court 6-3 conservative. That is our cake. That it frustrates Democrats to the point of irrationality is the icing.

Biden supporters aren’t having fun because they don’t exist. If they existed, he would have won in Iowa and New Hampshire instead of finishing fourth.

Oh, there will be people who vote for Biden. Millions of them. But they are voting against President Donald John Trump, not for anyone. They have no candidate, and that is not fun because they have no team really. So in their anger, they tear up cities, they tear up campaign signs, and they tear up their own cars.

The polls say this, the polls say that. Trump supporters don’t care. We are having fun. We did it before and we will do it again — despite mail fraud, the media, and Karens flipping the bird and screaming in their cars.

And we will laugh as we are doing it.

Hey, laughter ain’t just the best medicine; it’s the best revenge, too. What better closer than this immortal classic?

That’s actually a flexi-disk which came as in insert in an issue of Mad magazine that I had back when I was but a budding juvenile delinquent. Wonder whatever happened to that thing…

The Notorious ACB

Trump has nominated Amy Coney Barrett to replace the Cadaverous RBG, as expected. The ‘Splodey-Head Left, in their usual display of class, civility, and decency, between flinging poo right away, surprising no one. Stupidly, even some who claim to be on the Right are playing along too, “asking questions” about her adoption of two Haitian kids—something the vile Left is also poking their own shit-smeared snouts into, albeit from a slightly different direction.

According to Rightie concern trolls, most especially those on the DR, Barrett’s adoption of those two children can only mean she’s a race-traitor and a fraud, a virtue-signalling squish who knuckled under to the Left’s vituperation via the cowardly expedient of glomming onto a couple of ferrin’ pickaninnies purely as a talisman against the Left’s RACIST!!!™ voodoo. That there might be no more to it than an act of generosity and compassion by a decent woman, who was deeply touched by the kids’ plight and wanted to help, is not even remotely possible and therefore not worthy of consideration.

The Insane Left, of course and as usual, know in their bones that it’s Ol’ Blue-Eyed Beezerbub up to his/her old tricks again, just a-colonizin’ and enslavin’ as is his eternal wont. The well-worn Catholic canard, out of favor since JFK, is even being dusted off and polished for use against her.

Meh, let ’em all scream away, as loud and as long as they feel they must. I like her, myself. Sure, she could easily turn out to be another letdown like the Dread Turncoat Roberts has. But we can only hope she won’t, and personally I don’t really expect her to. Among other encouraging things she’s said, this seems pretty typical:

Last year at an event with Hillsdale College, Barrett’s student Stephanie Maloney asked the judge “What role, if any, should faith of a nominee have in the confirmation process?”

Barrett said, “None.”

“I mean, we have a long tradition of religious tolerance in this country. And in fact, the religious test clause in the Constitution makes it unconstitutional to impose a religious test on anyone who holds public office,” the judge explained.

“So whether someone is Catholic or Jewish or Evangelical or Muslim or has no faith at all is irrelevant to the job,” Barrett added.

“I do have one thing that I want to add to that, though. I think when you step back and you think about the debate about whether someone’s religion has any bearing on their fitness for office, it seems to me that the premise of the question is that people of faith would have a uniquely difficult time separating out their moral commitments from their obligation to apply the law. And I think people of faith should reject that premise,” she added.

“All people, of course– well, we hope, most people– have deeply held moral convictions, whether or not they come from faith. People who have no faith, people who are not religious, have deeply held moral convictions,” Barrett noted. “And it’s just as important for those people to be sure– I just spent time talking about the job of a judge being to set aside moral convictions, personal moral convictions, and personal preferences, and follow the law. That’s a challenge for those of faith and for those who have no faith.”

“So I think the public should be absolutely concerned about whether a nominee for judicial office will be willing and able to set aside personal preferences, be they moral, be they political, whatever convictions they are,” Barrett explained. “The public should be concerned about whether a nominee can set those aside in favor of following the law.”

“But that’s not a challenge just for religious people. I mean, that’s a challenge for everyone. And so I think it’s a dangerous road to go down to say that only religious people would not be able to separate out moral convictions from their duty,” she said.

Barrett won’t be perfect, certainly. No matter how good she might be, she’s still bound to come down on the wrong side of the argument once in a while. But as long as the Left continues to hate her with the intensity of a thousand suns, hey, that’ll be plenty good enough for me.

Update! Almost left out an imporant aspect: if confirmed and seated, ACB will break the traditional stranglehold on the Court held by the Yale-Harvard cartel. That can’t be anything but a good thing.

Updated update! Buck Sexton nails it just as clean and tight as I’ve ever seen it done.

Nothing whatsoever to add to that. It says it all.

No deal

Francis on folly.

The political trenches are heavy with commentators who write smart, literate pieces but who are utterly filled with folly. Folly, as Barbara Tuchman once wrote, is knowing better but doing worse. Persons who promote follies typically refuse to heed the lessons of the past. At least, that’s the most common form of folly in politics and political advocacy.

Here’s a sample of current relevance:

One of the big fears that some conservatives have about Republicans doing the simple thing that they were elected to do by confirming a conservative Supreme Court justice is that Democrats would respond by packing the court. As such, they are proposing a “compromise.” The idea, first put forward by Adam White in a thoughtful piece, is that President Trump nominates somebody, but Republicans agree not to vote until after the election (and to not confirm a nominee in a lame-duck session if they lose) as long as Democrats agree to not pack the court. The idea has gained adherents, including David French and Jonah Goldberg.

I don’t know anything about Adam White. I know little more about David French, other than that he’s a foaming-at-the-mouth NeverTrumper. But I followed Goldberg’s essays for some time, and I own one of his books. I have no doubt that he’s a smart fellow, his aversion to President Trump notwithstanding. However, these three persons are united in a folly of monumental dimensions: They believe the Democrats would keep a promise when violating it would be massively favorable to their interests.

The Democrats do not keep promises. The record is quite definite on this subject. Why, therefore, would the GOP’s Senate caucus trust the Democrats to do so in this supremely important matter – a matter the Left has been talking about for years?

Do I hear someone in the back rows nattering about “collegiality?” Where was collegiality during the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings? Where was it during impeachment hearings and the Senate trial of President Trump? Where is it today, when prominent Democrats routinely slander President Trump as a dictator and anyone who supports him as either stupid or evil?

Given the open, venomous viciousness of the highest-placed Democrats at this time, why would anyone believe, against the historical evidence, that “this time it will be different?”

Folly, pure and simple.

He couldn’t be more right. From this day forward, Republicans should adhere to one rule first, last, and always: No deals with Democrats. Period, full stop, end of story, and to hell with French, Goldberg, this Smith fellow, and any and all others still foolish enough to believe that the Democrat-Socialists ever, EVER operate “in good faith,” or have any intention of honoring agreements made with them.

When in power, the Demonrats simply run roughshod over their opposition. They ignore reasonable objections; negotiate dishonestly; quash legitimate disagreement; and promote “compromise” with every intention of breaking its terms right from the beginning. No “deal” with them is ever worth the proverbial bucket of warm piss; they consider no oath, covenant, or contract to be binding—for THEM, that is.

At the moment, Trump inarguably has complete Constitutional authority to nominate a replacement for RBG at any time he chooses. Likewise, Senate Republicans are without question empowered to confirm that nominee, by whatever process they deem appropriate, at whatever time they deem expedient. Not one Democrat-Socialist shitweasel can say a word about any of it, either. Or rather, they can say anything they want. Republicans, however, are under no obligation to listen, much less to allow any suggestion and/or complaint from Team Tyranny to influence how matters do or do not proceed.

Democrat-Socialists have for decades wielded power ruthlessly, without the slightest regard for appearances, consequences, or blowback. Their ruthlessness, their faithlessness and megalomania, should now be repaid in full, to the last dram. In the SC fight, as everywhere else, they should be flatly disregarded, any attempt to slither their way into meaningful input beyond the yes-or-no vote the Constitution grants them smacked down with extreme contempt. In all situations, they should be dealt with not as the “partners” they falsely claim to be when they see advantage in it, but as the enemies they truly are.

In a different but still certainly related context, General Flynn’s family pulls no punches.

Abusive, intentional lawless actions committed against the Republic, the President of the United States Donald J Trump and his NSA Director and our brother, General Mike Fynn, by a vile cabal of thugs in the FBI, DOJ, and Special Counsel’s office threatened the national security of our country and all Americans…

The abject abuses of power of the Obama-Biden administration and those who deceived, lied, and conspired to destroy Gen Flynn and violate his rights must be held to account. He has been denied his liberty and freedom for four years. This must end. Judge Sullivan has one obligation. That obligation is to dismiss this case with prejudice, immediately.

The American people deserve to know the truth as to all the misconduct and the dishonest people culpable for their actions. Gen Flynn demands that the Government unredact this exculpatory evidence. It is high time that Barack Obama and Joe Biden be held to account for leading their campaign of injustice against Gen Flynn, the President, the American public, and the Rule of Law.

DAMNED. STRAIGHT. Lots more good stuff between my ellipses; the original is an image file, and my weary old fingers could only transcribe so much before conking out with an agonized creak. But you’ll enjoy reading the whole thing, I promise.

As Sundance so pithily puts it: “The time for diplomatic niceties is over.” And so it is. I repeat: no deals with Democrats. Our side has nothing to gain, and everything to lose, by continuing to pretend that they’re honorable men. As Francis said, that’s folly, pure and simple. No more of it. If crush them we must—and it’s clear that we must—the only thing we need to concern ourselves with now is getting on with the job.

The children are revolting

People get ready.

Russiagate, impeachment, the coronavirus power grab, riots, overhyped Trump “scandals” that came and went, and nonstop venom, vitriol, and vituperation come together under this label: the Continuing Tantrum. The presidential election is less than two months away, and we’re being promised the tantrum to end all tantrums, a Super Tantrum, if the harpy and the dotard don’t win.

The gathering Super Tantrum, given added impetus by the Supreme Court situation, advertises itself as righteous revolution, but it would be the cabal deposing an outsider and installing chosen insiders. A real revolution overthrows insiders, so call this another attempted coup. Give into your kids’ tantrums and you’ll suffer rule by screams. The cabal thinks it can turn violence on for regime-change and off once it’s successful. That’s wishful thinking. Violence is a race to the bottom and the most bloodthirsty win. Coups often devour their sponsors—you get someone to do the dirty work and you become the dirty work.

Parents who cave in to their children’s tantrums ruin any chance they’ll grow into productive, happy adults. If the Super Tantrum steals the election, the America experiment is over. The Harris Democrats will rejigger the rules so they’ll never lose and America will become a one-party banana republic featuring permanent bio-totalitarianism.

California, New York, and Illinois are previews of coming attractions. They increasingly look like collectivist third-world dumps: the favored few ultra-rich, vanishing middle classes, masses of poor, and rampant crime, corruption, squalor, and seething unrest. And this before their underfunded pensions and welfare systems’ inevitable collapse.

What of it? As it is with bratty children, so it is with shitlibs: the more you concede, the more they’ll demand. The only long-term solution is to snatch them up, spank their asses purple, and send them off to bed without supper.

Keep the faith, baby

Not crazy. NOT. No, really. I mean it.

The Death Of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Pushed Me To Join The Satanic Temple

See? NOT crazy. Just a perfectly normal, sane reaction to the death of a sickly, feeble, 87 year old woman who had been battling cancer for years— a woman you never even met, no less.

I am a 40-something attorney and mother who lives in a quiet neighborhood with a yard and a garage full of scooters and soccer balls. I often walk with my children to get ice cream and spend weekends hiking through a national park. I am not the type of person who would normally consider becoming a Satanist, but these are not normal times.

And YOU are not a normal person.

Like so many other women in the United States, when I learned of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s passing, my first reaction was not grief but fear. I fear that American citizens are inching closer to living in a theocracy or dictatorship and that the checks meant to prevent this from happening are close to eroding beyond repair.

Those checks having been eroded by…let’s see now, which side is it that’s been hacking away at the Constitution, the Founders, and the idea of limited government since its inception, anyway? Remind me, if you would, I’m having trouble remembering.

When Justice Ginsburg died, I knew immediately that action was needed on a scale we have not seen before. Our democracy has become so fragile that the loss of one of the last guardians of common sense and decency in government less than two months before a pivotal election has put our civil and reproductive rights in danger like never before.

Common sense. Decency. Government. One of these things is not like the other, dearie.

And, so, I have turned to Satanism.

Well, what the hell else were you supposed to do? I mean, really now, who WOULDN’T have?

Members of the Satanic Temple do not believe in the supernatural or superstition. In the same way that some Unitarians and some Jews do not believe in God, Satanic Temple members do not worship Satan and most are atheists. They are not affiliated in any way with the Church of Satan. Instead, the Satanic Temple uses the devil as a symbol of rebellion.

Just like other faiths,

Nice to see that little back-door acknowledgement of atheism as another “faith,” babe.

the Satanic Temple has a code that their members believe in deeply and use to guide their lives. These Seven Fundamental Tenets include that “one should strive to act with compassion and empathy toward all creatures in accordance with reason,” that “the struggle for justice is an ongoing and necessary pursuit that should prevail over laws and institutions,” and that “one’s body is inviolable, subject to one’s own will alone.”

Reading through the Seven Tenets, I was struck by how closely they aligned with the unwritten code I had used to try to guide my own life for several years. I realized, happily, that these were my people and that I had been a Satanist for several years without even knowing it.

Oh, I can one-hundred-percent assure you that Satanists are “your people” all right. In fact, for Leftists, they always have been.

In the hours after Justice Ginsburg’s death, I sat wondering what the future would hold for my daughters.

If they turn out like Mom, I’d say their future includes: nihilism; narcissicism; mindless, directionless hedonism; intellectual vapidity; dissatisfaction; an aimless, selfish existence bereft of real fulfillment, contentment, and enduring happiness.

Oh, and lots and lots and lots of abortions, denying you any grandchildren; your genetic line will end with them, for which the rest of us can only be thankful. Any cultural and intellectual influence you may have had will die with your daughters—washed away like footprints in the surf, your personal legacy wafted away like dandelion fluff on a stiff breeze. A tragedy for you, a boon for Mankind.

One more thing, since I’m tired of having to wade through the HuffPo muck and am not going to waste any more time on it. Given the incredible frustration, angst, and just plain misery even the possibility of losing an election creates for you people because of the grotesque, all-encompassing importance of politics it suggests, you Progtards might want to reconsider that old “the personal is political” slogan of yours, I’m thinking.

Vengeance is OURS

Ram it up their Fourth Point Of Contact—sideways.

This is the moment we’ve been waiting for since Christine Blasey Ford took the stage with her grating baby voice and testimony full of holes and slander. We still remember every sickening moment that Democrats dragged a good man through the mud, terrorized his wife, and traumatized his 10-year-old daughter who had to be told what a “gang rape” was and why the man on the TV kept saying it about her dad.

Actually, I’ve been waiting for it since the outrageous smearing of Clarence Thomas, a good man and a superb Justice, as the kind of sicko that would actually yank out one of his short ‘n’ curlies and stick it onto a Coke can so’s one of his underlings would…what, be turned on and more amenable to his unwanted advances by it or something? I mean, who but a lying Demonrat degenerate would ever even be able to come up with such bizarre, out-in-left-field horsepuckey as that, anyway?

We can still see the look on Mrs. Kavanaugh’s face as she walked side by side with her husband on the way to a hearing that was more like entering a torture chamber. We remember a grown man crying and pleading for his name. And we remember laughing Democrats without a shred of humanity sitting there, levying false and defamatory accusations at a man for daring to keep a calendar of his juvenile years and enjoying beer. We were there. Did they forget?

Of course they didn’t. They’re hoping WE did, or at least that we’ll lie back and take it with kicking up too much of a fuss. Y’knoe, like we always have before.

This moment in time was so intensely unfair and maddening that I locked myself in my office for six months and pounded out a book about all the times in history women have lied to destroy men. Believe all women??? Ha! Tell that to the victims of the Salem witch trials or the Scottsboro boys.

Did they really think that this “dying wish” tactic was going to work on us? Even if it were Ginsburg’s dying wish and she had videotaped herself saying that the next president should fill her seat to satisfy her last earthly desire, so what? It’s not her seat… it’s ours! There’s no “dying wish” clause in the Constitution. The president nominates members of the Supreme Court and our president is still in the job until January of 2021 (at least). We cannot have an empty seat on the highest court in this crazy upside-down world for four months. Let’s forget for a moment that we know the election is going to be contested and we will need a Supreme Court that’s not going to tie in that scenario. But forget that. Let’s focus on what matters.

Revenge.

This is for you, Kavanaugh family. Any other action than immediately filling and confirming that seat with the president’s choice is a capitulation to the terror tactics the Democrats unleashed on the Kavanaughs. It would be an admission that what they did was legitimate and can be done again. There is no other way to see it. They will have gotten away with it if we do any less. Not only does this seat need to be filled (this week preferably) but it should be done while acknowledging that our entire motivation is payback for the disgusting attempt to destroy a man purely for political reasons.

As the late Andrew Breitbart famously said, “F*ck you. War.”

Seconded, with extreme prejudice. At last—AT LONG LAST—these evil curs must be treated in accord with their own just deserts. The Democrat-Socialist vermin of right ought to be forced to drain the bitter cup of our vengeance for their unrestrained villainy to the very dregs. Once again, Rush knows the best way to do it.

You know, I mentioned that the Judiciary Committee does not have to do its thing. It’s become a tradition, but it’s not a requirement. And since Trump has already driven them crazy, I mean, long before today, they are crazy, then why not just blow up another tradition? Because, I’ll tell you, that’s how we’re gonna maintain the ones that matter. It is the very traditions and institutions that define this country that the left has in its crosshairs. They have to be defeated. This Supreme Court seat has to be confirmed, it has to be named and confirmed before the election.

All this talk about waiting ’til after the election, Donald Trump was elected in 2016 on the very basis of the fact that he had a list of names, and people were able to judge those names and his candidacy as a result. The 2020 election has nothing to do with this Supreme Court seat, folks. It has nothing to do with it. Don’t fall for this idea that, “This is so close to the election. We need to wait. We need to wait for the election so that the right president gets to make –” No, no, no. We’ve already voted on the president that gets to make this pick, and Donald Trump is he.

The 2016 election is what this nomination is about. Not the 2020 election, both in terms of timeline, legalities, and common sense, the 2020 election has nothing to do with this Supreme Court opening. I want the Judiciary Committee — I think it’d be great if it were skipped. We don’t need to open that up for whatever length of time so that whoever this nominee is can be Kavanaughed or Borked or Thomased. Because that’s what it’s gonna be, especially when it’s not even required.

All indications are at present that there WILL be hearings, and I think that’s a damned shame. Not one more inch for the blaggards. Not. One. If their screeching and whining becomes too annoying to put up with any longer, then cut their goddamned throats and be done with them.

Schumer makes the case so I don’t have to

Schmuck.

On Tuesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Rachel Maddow Show,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) vowed that Senate Democrats “will use every tool in the toolkit” to try to delay Republicans from filling Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s Supreme Court seat.

Schumer said, “We have tactical options to slow them down. We will use every tool in the toolkit. Now, admittedly, McConnell has changed things, changed the rules, so we have fewer tools and they’re less sharp, but every tool we have we will use. Today, we delayed committees going into effect. We had the right to do that and we did it. Tonight, we’re on the floor taking up all the time on the floor to talk about how bad this potential nominee — and there will be many other things that we can use. You’ll see them in the days ahead.”

Which is exactly why this is how the thing ought to be done:

You do not have to have the Judiciary Committee conduct hearings. That’s only a tradition that evolved, and it’s something that’s taken place, but it is not required. It’s not mandated. It really isn’t, folks. The Senate does not get to pick their own nominee, which is what Chuck Schumer and the rest of the Democrats want you to think. They want you to think the president doesn’t have any idea what he’s doing, he doesn’t get a choice in the matter, only the Democrats get to choose, and they don’t. All the rest of this is nothing more than political posturing.

McConnell rule, and that was during the Merrick Garland controversy, and it said you don’t have a nomination in the final year of a presidency if the Senate is held by the opposing party. And that’s been largely true since 1880, and especially true since the court has become more political over the years. But there’s nothing that says that Trump can’t nominate a replacement. And there’s nothing that says the Senate cannot vote now.

Folks, I know the tendency is to believe the media on these things because our society is just overburdened with this false notion of fairness. There’s nothing about fairness in this. This is purely procedural. The president has the constitutional duty to name a replacement. The Senate gets to advise and consent, and that can be nothing more than a vote. They consent by voting “yes” or they don’t consent by turning down the nominee. But they don’t get three weeks to trash the guy unless they’re given it, but they’re not required.

So there’s no reason to wait. There is literally no reason to wait. There’s no requirement to wait. The 2020 election has nothing to do with this Supreme Court vacancy. The 2016 election has everything to do with it. And, by the way, it’s also not Justice Ginsburg’s seat. Her dying wish is that her seat not be filled until after the next — it’s not her seat. Like Kennedy’s seat in the Senate was not his seat. It is our seat, not hers.

Bingo, with great big bells on it. Short-circuit the whole disgusting Democrat-Socialist circus. Deny them the opportunity to viciously defame and destroy not just the poor nominee but his/her spouse, children, parents, all relatives going generations back, and the horse they all rode in on. Take every monkeywrench in Schumer’s precious little “toolkit” away from him, and blunt every “arrow” in Pee-lousy’s “quiver” too, by just flushing the hearing process entirely and moving straight to a Senate vote.

Then let the whole horde scream like howler monkeys with hemorrhoids, right up until the day Trump’s nominee is sworn in if they want to. There is absolutely no reason—Constitutional, ethical, or political—to continue playing the abhorrent Democrat-Socialist game, and every reason not to. They’ve warped the USSC confirmation process until it’s just a very unfunny joke on the entire country. The whole mess needs to be changed—lifted from the Swampy mire of dysfunction and remade into something Americans at least don’t have to be embarrassed about anymore.

So change it, then. Time to put this Demonrat dumpster fire out for good.

Laff riot!

BWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!

In case you can’t see the vid—which you will deeply regret missing, believe me—the deranged shitlib was actually hanging to the hips out of the driver-side window, turned sideways and flipping off the Trump rally-goers with both hands, screaming profane epithets at them.

Then she rearended the car ahead of her.

Then the cops walked up, hopefully to cite her stupid ass for reckless driving, negligence, reckless endangerment, and any and every other charge they could come up with.

Dumb fucking bitch.

Proud Boys just out and out fucking with their heads now

Living rent-free in empty Pantifa skulls.

The Proud Boys advertised a fake rally in West Philadelphia’s Clark Park on Saturday, causing Antifa to flood the streets.

When the Proud Boys did not show up, they attacked conservative independent media instead.

As the Gateway Pundit reported earlier in the day, the militant leftists attacked two conservatives who were filming the protest. They also attacked a vehicle they believed to belong to the conservatives, but actually belonged to someone who was there in support of their cause. There was a frightened dog inside while they smashed the windows out with hammers.

Speaking to the Gateway Pundit about the fake rally, Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio said that “SOMETIMES…all it takes for evil to fail is for good men to do nothing.”

“The Philly ProudBoys decided this was the best approach today. They wanted to show the world exactly what unchecked domestic terrorism does to a city. It’s incredibly sad that in 2020 America all someone has to do to be threatened with violence is say they’re going to a park to practice their first amendment rights. Besides attacking journalist that were on the scene they attacked themselves. They beat and broke windows on what seemed to be a vehicle owned by an Antifa militant. So I’m extremely Proud of my boys today. Some of these boys had a hangover and watched Antifa on Antifa violence from the comfort of their living rooms,” Tarrio said.

I say again: I just love these guys so much. I really, really do.

The Proud Boys have also launched a new website opposing Antifa, where you can keep track of their upcoming rallies.

“The threat from Domestic terror groups like Antifa and BLM are on the rise. That is why we started EndAntifa.com. The ProudBoys will return to Portland on the 26th of this month despite the death threats and calls for violence,” Tarrio said. “We intend to have a peaceful event and shine even more light on these acts of terror. The reason why Philly is so violent is because they have taken a page from the Portland playbook. It’s time for the mayhem to end…The American people have had enough.”

Duly bookmarked and blogrolled, Mr Tarrio sir. Bless every one of y’all’s valiant hearts, most sincerely, from me to you. Long may the Proud Boy standard wave.

Call to arms: STOP THE STEAL

Roger Stone responds to shitlib outrage over the Alex Jones interview I mentioned the other night—with both barrels, right square into their pinched, smarmy faces.

And it is BEAUTIFUL.

Before Trump blew their minds with his unprecedented annihilation of their pompous, lazy, treacherous, and epically corrupt nominee, numerous well-known Democrats (along with a number of now-obsolete never-Trumper RINO’s) made sure to add their smirking little sureties to that epically-smug, soon-to-be-humiliated-beyond-belief chorus of know-it-all blowhard pundits and overexposed celebrity big mouths who assured the world, with metaphysical certitude, that Donald Trump would NEVER(!) be president.

Little did they know what was about to happen. But now they do know, and are surely prepared to do anything to make themselves right this time.

Which brings us to the Democrats’ other insufferable speech-slurring female windbag, cult leader and perpetual political parasite – Pelosi, Nancy. One each (thank God). Madame (Speaker) and countless other Democrat seditionists, socialists and communists have repeatedly made demagogic statements to the effect that Trump will “not be re-elected… NO MATTER WHAT”.

Aside from their nearly four years of deceitful partisan machinations, phony investigations, and the repugnant Adam Schiff as their implementer of nonstop war against the president and his allies, their constant bleating that Trump would be removed from office, one way or another, was certainly not idle. Just like their counterfeit impeachment, they were blatantly admitting up front that they would stop at nothing, that no public interest or duty was too sacred, to toss aside in the cause of vanquishing our President.

Further proof of this destructive seditious insanity they are intent on inflicting on the country is the astonishing statement by an increasingly mentally-unstable Hillary Clinton, almost insisting that Joe Biden must not and can never concede “under any circumstances”, presumably to include even Trump’s winning the election by a landslide or really any result that re-elects the president. This psychopath could not restrain her seething vengeful mania and intent to  burn down the country and end the American Republic than permit Donald Trump’s re-election. Given this type of extremist rhetoric (from some of the most ruthless criminals the world has ever known) a few million fraudulent ballots is child’s play.

It is clear from their own big mouths that the only thing the Democrats have not lied about is their intent to perpetrate an unprecedented fraud upon the American people and that they will never accept a democratically-derived decision by the American people, if it results in Donald Trump’s re-election as president.

This is why we must not only be prepared for what happens on election day, but also do everything we can between now and November 3rd to protect the integrity of our elections and STOP THE STEAL.

It’s a long ‘un, it’s as righteous a blast of full-bore truth as I’ve ever beheld, and trust me, you are going to love it. Bravo to you, Mr Stone.

Tell it like it is

I’m loving this one, too.

Roger Stone Calls for Trump to Declare Martial Law If He Loses
Pardoned Roger Stone is making extraordinary calls for President Donald Trump to invoke the Insurrection Act if he loses on Election Day.

“I don’t want to overplay the facts here, but if somebody would study the president’s authority in the Insurrection Act and his ability to impose Martial Law if there’s widespread [fraud], if he will have the ability to arrest [Facebook founder Mark] Zuckerberg, to arrest [Apple CEO] Tim Cook, to arrest the Clintons, to arrest anybody else who can be proven to be involved in illegal activity,” Stone, political trickster, told Alex Jones’ “InfoWars” on Thursday.

Curiously, there’s a link embedded in the “Alex Jones” portion of the above text that, for some odd reason, goes to Media Matters instead. As one would expect, the MM drivel copiously moans and kvetches that the VERY IDEA of widespread Democrat-Riot Party election fraud—a practice they’ve diligently, consistently pursued since Tammany Hall, if not before—is a “baseless accusation,” “entirely unfounded,” a “conspiracy theory” which “would likely intimidate potential Joe Biden voters.”

Snort. I can think of a thousand and one much better ways to “intimidate” them, bitch. Including a few, shall we say, permanent ones. Anyways.

“There’s going to be widespread, obvious, blatant, flagrant illegality,” Stone continued. “The authority exists to stop that. It will have to be used, if necessary.

“I do not advocate preventive detention, but people who commit crimes and think they can continue to get away with it, because we have a two-tiered justice, are just wrong.”

“This is not complicated and it is 100% legal,” Stone concluded.

“Force will have to be met with force. That’s the way this is going to have to work. It’s really unfortunate. I’m not an advocate of that. I’d like to have an honest election in which the real winner takes office. The real winner will not be Joe Biden. There is too much voter fraud already going on in Florida and Nevada.”

Correct in every particular. But it’ll be the “force met with force” part that will really resonate before all is said and done, I’m afraid.

Via Bill, who laments that “Trump won’t do it,” and I’m afraid he’s all too right also.

Misery loves company

THAT’S NOT FUNNY.

According to (Scott) Adams, the common thread between why so many people believe these claims to be true without any evidence (or even in the face of counterevidence) could be that they simply have no sense of humor.

Adams described a conversation he had on Twitter with an actress who said she believed the claims in Goldberg’s article because of the joke Trump made in 2015 about John McCain not being a war hero because he was “captured.”

“This is typical Trump, he is a dumb, hate-filled liar and misogynist!” Scott’s Twitter correspondent said.

“When I saw that I commented back [that] Trump told a Chris Rock joke about McCain because Chris Rock actually did that same joke before Trump did,” Adams replied. “And then I said, you literally want to overthrow the government because you don’t recognize a joke. That’s actually what happened, this is someone who wants to get rid of Trump at any cost in part because she doesn’t recognize a joke. So, I said maybe the problem’s on your end.”

She responded: “B.S. Circus with Trump’s trained Monkeys defending his stupidities. What’s wrong with you people? Who cares if Chris Rock made a joke?”

“See where this is going?” Scott asked, holding back a laugh. “She has now acknowledged that the president told a joke. She did not know until I explained it that it was a joke. So now she has to change her objection from being a horrible thing he said, to ‘Yeah, it was a joke but it was still horrible, and here’s why.'”

She responded: “A president must know better than to say something like that! There are better things to quote as president, how do you fall for this crap?”

“Now, she also said earlier that Trump had no sense of humor, therefore it couldn’t be a joke. To which I pointed out that he is the most successful stand-up comedian in the history of humanity. His rallies with gigantic audiences are literally stand-up comedy. He does it to entertain. He literally says funny things and his audience laughs. And they go because he will say funny things that will make them laugh. He’s literally the most successful stand-up comedian in the history of civilization if you look at the numbers of people who go in person,” Adams revealed. “You have to admit the reason the crowd is so big is because he brings entertainment and humor.”

The unhappier the joyless, juiceless Lefty prigs are, the better for the rest of us.

Irreconcilable differences

Just another fantastic piece by Tal Bachman.

The truth is, there’s nothing particularly “united” about the United States these days. Even basic perceptions now differ. After watching the same video of 17 year old Kyle Rittenhouse, half the country thinks he committed pre-meditated murder, while the other half thinks he justifiably defended himself against weapon-wielding attackers. Same with the McCloskeys over in St. Louis: half the country saw them illegally threaten peaceful passersby; the other half saw them legally deter a mob of trespassers threatening their safety.

Half the country can’t glance at Trump without envisioning him in a Nazi uniform shouting from the Luitpoldarena podium in Nuremberg; the other half just sees a pragmatic, commonsense guy, albeit of eccentric appearance, who just wants to make America great—hell, even just functional—again after decades of mismanagement.

Half the country sees Joe Biden as a mentally sound, principled, independent man who’ll “calm everything down”; the other half sees him as the increasingly senile, corrupt, amoral puppet of cunning corporatistas and violent leftists. And we could spend another three hours thinking of examples just of the perceptual differences.

Sure, perceptual differences are one thing, but here’s the rub: objectively speaking, is one side right, and the other wrong? Does observable reality confirm the correctness of one side’s opinion, and refute the other’s? Because if it does, then any throat-clearing, mealymouthed tapdancing around to concede a “respect” for the side whose argument got demolished by objective reality, to grant that they “may have a point,” begins to look a whole lot less like politesse or civility and more like confusion at best, cowardice at worst.

As a result, we must say that Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron revealed a dangerous naiveté during his Tuesday night convention speech when he concluded that “we all just want the same things in the end”. No, we don’t. Some of us want to live in safe, clean communities, populated by strong families, pursuing meaningful, shared, morally-grounded lives of noble purpose. And some of us—quite a lot of us, actually—don’t.

Those that don’t have been obsessively destroying lives, careers, educations, reputations, property, everything they could, for months now, under protection from Democrat politicians. And remember that this ongoing destruction is only the most recent manifestation of a multi-decade effort to sow dissension, and co-opt or destroy every institution of influence necessary for healthy civic order.

No country can remain intact and democratic with moral and perceptual divides this great, nor with this many citizens actively or passively trying to destroy it. A house this divided just can’t remain standing for much longer, at least in its current form.

So where does that leave us?

In one hell of a pickle, that’s where, with no way out that won’t be difficult, painful, and surpassingly bloody. Tal posits three possibilities, the last and least likely of which is what he calls “national divorce.” It will never happen, for reasons I’ve specified here before and won’t revisit now, but Tal nevertheless paints a most appealing picture of what it could look like.

In the newly-created People’s Republic of Leftistan, for example, citizens could live out their political fantasies without being hindered by the gap-toothed, cross-burning, Bible-thumping, flyover-country yokels they believe populated most of their previous country, or by their orange, evil, racist, Nazi Klansman Führer hero, Donald Trump.

They could ban electricity, cars, straws, diapers, soft drinks, meat-eating, Christianity, heterosexual marriage, the English language (“the language of the slave owners”)—anything they wanted.

They could expand upon their infanticide fetish by offering Sunday morning child sacrifice rituals in their town squares.

They could import all 652 million Latin Americans and all one billion sub-Saharan Africans, then give them all guaranteed-incomes for life.

They could legalize crack cocaine, human-animal marriage, and even cannibalism. Come to think of it, they could appoint super-Democrat, author, and real-life cannibal Reza Aslan as their official Cannibalism Czar. He could visit Leftistan’s elementary schools to tell the kids all about the wondrous multiculturalist bona fides he earned after snacking on human brains during his CNN special. They could do anything they wanted.

And here’s the thing: Why not?

Yes, in ceding territory for Leftistan, the United States would be giving up some great California beach front, the New Jersey Boardwalk, Manhattan, and a few other valuable patches of land; but then, they’d also be excising a malignant demographic cancer comprised of demented, destructive humans which no healthy nation can tolerate. Without them, the United States would actually have a chance at being united again.

Not only that, but shorn of its would-be destroyers, America would begin to thrive like never before, building great families, great communities, great schools, great parks, great recreational activities, great churches, and great businesses. For my money, getting a lunatic-free country for a few beaches would be a damn fine trade.

Now, I admit a national divorce would be sad for some. Breakups, even the necessary ones, usually are. No one wants a beautiful dream to die.

I only say that the beautiful dream of Idaho, Alabama, Wyoming, and Mississippi one day seeing the world the same way as California, Massachusetts, New York, and New Jersey, and then unifying to forge a brilliant national future, was never going to come true; and more importantly, that beautiful dream has transformed into a real-life nightmare. Without a hard demographic reset (like violent lunatics all moving—or being moved—to Leftistan), the nightmare will never, ever end. If Trump wins in November, the riots, the delegitimizing of the victory, the refusal to accept the results, the false accusations, the pernicious media confections…it will all continue. And if Biden wins, the managed deconstruction of the United States—largely halted the past four years—will resume. Again: As long as these people are around, the nightmare will never, ever end.

The good news is, it ends as soon as they’re gone. Then a new dream begins—and that dream is one that, maybe, really could come true.

Probably so. In fact, it WAS true—American’s assumed birthright, more or less, which began to crumble only when Americans began taking it for granted—for many, many years. But before it can be brought to life again, we’re going to have to get them gone from us. And we all know that, as a practical matter, there’s only one way to do it.

An aside: I only recently learned that this Tal Bachman fellow, who’s been doing most of the heavy lifting of keeping Steyn Online alive as far as I’m concerned, is actually Randy Bachman’s son, a chip off the ol’ rock-block with a couple-three hit ditties of his own under his belt. Which biographical curiosity, happily, provides me with all the excuse I’ll ever need to trot out a good ol’ Bachman-Turner song.

Not all THAT old, actually. But good just the same.

Is it insurrection yet?

I’d say so, yeah.

Sen. Rand Paul: My wife and I were attacked by a mob — Dems would worsen problem by bowing to rioters

Don’t look now, Senator, but they aren’t just “bowing” to them. They’re encouraging them, covering for them, lying about who they are and what they’re doing to help maintain the facade of legitimate protest, and ensuring that they’re exempt from the law by ordering cops to stand down and refusing to prosecute the handful who do get arrested.

The Dems aren’t “worsening” the problem; they ARE the problem. They need to be made to pay for that, and dearly.

My wife Kelley and I were attempting to leave the White House event. We were staying at a hotel directly across the street, maybe 50 yards from the gates of the White House. But as we went to leave, it became apparent there was no safe exit out the gates and through the unruly mob that had gathered there.

Why? Because another Democratic-run city had decided it would bow to lawless rioters instead of protecting its citizens. Mayor Muriel Bowser was asked by the Secret Service to allow wider and better protection for those leaving the White House Thursday night, but she refused.

Mayor Bowser and many others are responsible for what happened. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., called my Senate colleagues and me “enemies of the state.” Democratic vice-presidential nominee Sen. Kamala Harris has advocated paying bail to get violent rioters out of jail.

Three Democratic House members who are part of the socialist “Squad” have called for people to “take to the streets.”

Well, national Democrats, your people are listening to you. How does it feel to watch it happen?  Are you comfortable watching the mob go after my wife and me?

Of course they are. To them, you ARE the enemy. If you learn nothing else from your ordeal, Sen Paul, please learn that these filthy snakes in the grass are neither your colleagues nor your countrymen. They are well and truly enemies, and dangerous ones at that—enemies not just of you and your wife personally, but of every decent American, of the Constitution, of the country entire. And they aren’t just playing around here; the insurrection is for real, they’re all in and playing for keeps, and they firmly intend to win.

My question is: Who are these people? Who paid for their hotel rooms? Who flew them in? Law enforcement needs to look at the funding of violent criminal activity like this.

And national Democrats need to confront it. It’s organized. It’s paid for. It’s violent. It’s not about Black lives or any lives; it’s about anarchy and destruction. The American people are starting to catch on and grow tired of it.

So I ask Democratic presidential nominee former Vice President Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris this:

Will you stand up finally and denounce this violence and destruction? Will you quit inciting it and urge other leaders to do the same?

My wife and I await your answers.

I hope you aren’t holding your breath.
