The “Cause” election

The price of having allowed them to make their old “the personal is political” slogan a reality.

Politics used to be about things like tax cuts. When politics was about tax cuts and subsidies and spending on projects and putting a stop sign at the end of the street, Americans could bear to get a little more or a little less from election to election. An election result could be disappointing. But it was not catastrophic. Quality of life is very important to Americans. But quality of life is not all-important. Americans will argue with each other over quality-of-life issues. But they will not kill each other over them. Settling things like tax cuts through elections worked out just fine.

But politics is not about things like tax cuts anymore. Now politics is all about causes. Causes like Black Lives Matter. Causes like LGBTQ+. Causes like Climate Change. Causes like Defunding the Police. Causes like Systemic Racism, and Open Borders, and Reproductive Rights, and Trans Rights, and Dismantling the Cis-Normative Patriarchy. And on. And on.

You cannot settle causes like these by vote. For one thing, they are indivisibles. They will not bear compromise. To suggest compromise may be considered a form of “violence.” Nor may you watch, in silence, as the issues unfold — for silence, too, may be considered a form of “violence.” Besides, many of the issues are simply unsolvable. Politics has no answer to them.

Which leads to the larger reason causes like these cannot be settled by vote: Causes like these bear too great a resemblance to religion — the nature of man, his original sin, his fallenness, and his salvation from it. Politics cannot settle disputes over dogma. They are neither soluble nor dissoluble.

Another thing that can’t be settled by elections is the fundamental conflict between tyranny and liberty. In fact, that’s the main issue in this election, as it will be in every other one going forward (if any), until the Left is utterly and permanently annihilated.

Roger Stone Calls for Trump to Declare Martial Law If He Loses
Pardoned Roger Stone is making extraordinary calls for President Donald Trump to invoke the Insurrection Act if he loses on Election Day.

“I don’t want to overplay the facts here, but if somebody would study the president’s authority in the Insurrection Act and his ability to impose Martial Law if there’s widespread [fraud], if he will have the ability to arrest [Facebook founder Mark] Zuckerberg, to arrest [Apple CEO] Tim Cook, to arrest the Clintons, to arrest anybody else who can be proven to be involved in illegal activity,” Stone, political trickster, told Alex Jones’ “InfoWars” on Thursday.

Curiously, there’s a link embedded in the “Alex Jones” portion of the above text that, for some odd reason, goes to Media Matters instead. As one would expect, the MM drivel copiously moans and kvetches that the VERY IDEA of widespread Democrat-Riot Party election fraud—a practice they’ve diligently, consistently pursued since Tammany Hall, if not before—is a “baseless accusation,” “entirely unfounded,” a “conspiracy theory” which “would likely intimidate potential Joe Biden voters.”

Snort. I can think of a thousand and one much better ways to “intimidate” them, bitch. Including a few, shall we say, permanent ones. Anyways.

“There’s going to be widespread, obvious, blatant, flagrant illegality,” Stone continued. “The authority exists to stop that. It will have to be used, if necessary.

“I do not advocate preventive detention, but people who commit crimes and think they can continue to get away with it, because we have a two-tiered justice, are just wrong.”

“This is not complicated and it is 100% legal,” Stone concluded.

“Force will have to be met with force. That’s the way this is going to have to work. It’s really unfortunate. I’m not an advocate of that. I’d like to have an honest election in which the real winner takes office. The real winner will not be Joe Biden. There is too much voter fraud already going on in Florida and Nevada.”

Correct in every particular. But it’ll be the “force met with force” part that will really resonate before all is said and done, I’m afraid.

Theft in broad daylight

I know you guys are growing ever weary of discussing the Chinese coronavirus. It is maddening that there is so much curiously contradictory information out there. There are still so many other reasons to remain peeved, including the obvious abuse of children and the psychological and potentially irreversible damage being inflicted upon them (and us). But as the Great Prophet Mark Steyn warned us on the Rush Limbaugh Show yesterday, you have to view the current Covid machinations as a very useful tool for the left to use against President Trump as we inch closer to the American presidential election.

The relentless slander against President Trump, the ongoing riots and violence in Democratic-run cities, the lies the media tells you about the violence (“mostly peaceful”), and a veritable Home Depot of other tools are all an integral part of their “flu d’état” planning.

We are being primed for the theft. Primed for theft by the left. Friends, when the left tells you who they are and what they are going to do, you had better well listen. It’s time for our side to take off the gross, ridiculous surgical gloves, rip off the mandated masks and revert back to common sense on all fronts – to take charge of our own lives, our own families and our own risk assessments, government fiats be damned.

I’m afraid we’re well past the point where it will do much good; it definitely isn’t going to stop them. The COVID ruse was only the beginning; we’re playing in a much bigger arena now. The coup plotters have gone past the point of exposing themselves and are now just waving their schlongs at us openly.

Schlesinger asked an insane question to Piketty at one point in the segment: “Do you believe that the pandemic presents an opportunity here?” Piketty then gave the cringe response: “What we see from history is that crises like pandemics are sometimes necessary, unfortunately in a way, to deliver big political change or ideological change.” Piketty then hedged himself by saying, “but we should not just count on crises to get very bad so that after crises, you know, things will get better. Because in practice, crises can also deliver political monsters as we’ve seen, after World War I in Europe.”

Sounds eerily familiar to when George Soros told an Italian newspaper that the pandemic was providing a “revolutionary moment.”

Gee, there’s that name again. Sheer coincidence, I’m sure.

Piketty exploited the coronavirus to attack capitalism: “The pandemic illustrates, you know, I think, the need to change the economic system and to get in the direction of a more equal and more equitable and more sustainable model of economic development.” Schlesinger never mentioned anything about how Piketty’s work on income inequality has been repeatedly chastised for flawed arguments.

No surprise there; the guy IS a shitlib, after all, his entire worldview is flawed. As I’ve mentioned before, though: with so many people chalking this talk up to Democrat-Socialist “desperation,” am I the only one out there to whom it looks and feels a bit more like supreme confidence? Hubris, even?

In any event, what all this is leading up to couldn’t be clearer.

This isn’t normal campaign rhetoric, and it belies a feverish mindset on the left going into November that any outcome except a Biden win—by any means necessary—won’t be legitimate. That’s why Hillary Clinton has publicly urged Biden not to concede “under any circumstances.”

Indeed, paranoia and an assumption that any action by the Trump administration to ensure the integrity of the election is tantamount to stealing it pervades our elite class. The Transition Integrity Project’s war games played out various scenarios, utterly divorced from reality, in which team Trump “succeeded in invoking the Insurrection Act and sending active-duty military troops into US cities to ‘restore order,’ ‘protect’ voting places, or confiscate ‘fraudulent’ ballots.” In another scenario, Attorney General Bill Barr ordered “the seizure of mail-in ballots to ensure that vote counting would stop.”

All this tells us much more about the mindset of the people running the simulations than it does about what Barr or Trump are likely to do in November. The left simply cannot imagine an election in which Trump doesn’t win by cheating, hence they’ve decided they will accept only one outcome. Rahna Epting, executive director of MoveOn and a participant in the Fight Back Table discussions, told The Daily Beast, “It is very obvious that Trump is laying the groundwork for claiming victory no matter what.”

This is doublespeak. What should be obvious by now is that a broad coalition of left-wing groups is laying the groundwork to reject the results of the November election if Trump wins and claim victory, no matter what. The same left-wing groups that have been fomenting riots and street violence for months will again mobilize, only this time they won’t be calling for the abolishment of the police but the effective abolishment of popular government—an end to our constitutional system, and with it, an end to the republic.

Alas, this kind of electoral hostage-taking isn’t new. In the months before the 1860 election, southern leaders and newspapers warned in explicit terms that electing Lincoln would mean disunion, perhaps even war. “Let the consequences be what they may—whether the Potomac is crimsoned in human gore, and Pennsylvania Avenue is paved ten fathoms deep with mangled bodies,” declared one Georgia newspaper. “The South will never submit to such humiliation and degradation as the inauguration of Abraham Lincoln.”

Most northerners thought this was just bluster, that Lincoln’s election would never lead to actual war and bloodshed. They badly underestimated how lightly the South regarded the Union, and what southerners would do to the country to be rid of it. They should have taken the South at its word.

Now, 160 years later, we face what could be a similar crisis. There’s a rich irony in the elite assumption that post-election violence will come from “right-wing militias” or “vigilante groups,” when the last three months of rioting and looting by Antifa and Black Lives Matter activists have in some ways been a dress rehearsal for what the left is planning in November. You don’t need to read between the lines to understand this, you just need to take these people at their word.

Large as the coup-specific issues loom, the big picture still dwarfs ’em.

The Democratic Party with its deep state auxiliaries begins to look like a monstrous hybrid of Matt Taibbi’s fabled Vampire Squid and the skulking Kraken of the maelstrom, devouring the innards of our republic in its deep, dark depths one institution at a time while a storm rages on the surface and citizen’s eyelids flutter in horror, frozen like sleepers in the paralysis of a nightmare, at the rising havoc and ruin. Or, to put it plainly: what the fuck is going on in America?

Ongoing sedition is the answer, with fetid slime trails across the political landscape everywhere you look. We’re informed hours ago, for instance, that the top lawyers in Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel operation wiped all the records from their cell phones before the DOJ Inspector General could collect evidence of their communications from the SC team’s three-year exercise in overthrowing a president. How is that not an obstruction of justice, and who will answer for it?

And now, like a fever building to climax, comes the news right out-front that the Democratic Party intends to foment insurrection if the election goes against them. They’re supporting the coming siege of Lafayette Square set to kick off fifty days of “protest” across from the White House beginning Sept 17 as a warm-up for anarchy in the streets across the nation following the Nov 3 vote. Behind us is the summer of riots, arson, and looting, and who paid to support all that? Who paid for flying Antifa and BLM personnel from city to city, feeding and housing them, paying for their “commercial-grade” fireworks, pallets of bricks, gas masks, lasers, bullhorns, black riot outfits? Why is it hard to find out who bought the plane tickets, booked the hotels? Months have gone by since all that started. Is someone in the DOJ following the money? And following their communications (especially considering the crimes against property they’ve committed)?

Why is Christopher Wray still director of the FBI? Why is Bruce Ohr still collecting a paycheck from the DOJ? Why is Eric Ciaramella still keeping a seat warm at the CIA? What exactly was US Attorney John Huber doing for two years? Why is Mark Esper still running the Pentagon? Why is General James Mattis not facing a military court of inquiry for proposing a coup against the president? Why is Federal Judge Emmet Sullivan still defying the DOJ’s motion to dismiss the case against General Flynn? Why is it taking years to resolve the legal issues around Julian Assange while he rots in jail? Where exactly does William Barr stand with all this? And is it possible that John Durham’s efforts to unravel the giant hairball of sedition begins-and-ends with one lame guilty plea of petty fall-guy Kevin Clinesmith?

It may sound paranoid, but I feel compelled to ask: is Barack Obama running some kind of shadow government from his Kalorama fortress —that is, issuing suggestions (or instructions) to scores of loyal high officials in federal agencies for opposing and undermining everything the current president attempts to do — such as Mr. Trump’s executive order this week to cease and desist the depraved “critical race theory” and “white privilege” struggle sessions run all over DC by obscenely highly-paid “diversity-and-inclusion” consultants? And what role is Hillary Clinton playing behind-the-scenes these pre-election days, since her foundation is so heavily invested in the DNC, and she is issuing directives on subverting the election through a complicit news media?

How on earth can responsible adults pretend that the empty shell of Joe Biden is a plausible candidate for president? What will Joe do in the two scheduled debates without his teleprompter or an earpiece? He can’t possibly perform without them (and barely even with them, it appears lately). When was the last time Joe Biden took impromptu questions from reporters? When has he stood before a crowd of actual voters, not live-action-role-players picked by his handlers? Who is trying to hustle the USA out of existence and what are you going to do to stop them?

That’s the biggest question of them all, innit? One thing’s for sure: the later we wait to stop them, the more difficult, painful, and messy it’s going to be. But stop them we surely must, at any and all cost.

9/11, straight up

Unsurprisingly, perhaps, Glenn doesn’t really share my bitter cynicism about things.

19 YEARS AGO TODAY, WE SAID “NEVER FORGET,” BUT WE MOSTLY HAVE. Maybe that’s okay, in a way. As hardly anyone has noticed, Trump’s mideast peace deals have pulled the teeth of Islamic terror — without funding from the Saudis and the other rich Arab states, these “grassroots” terror movements miraculously disappear, just as the “people-based” communist revolutions vanished as soon as the Soviet Union went belly-up and quit funding them. And also, with fracking, there’s not as much Arab money lying around to begin with.

No one who was alive and aware that day will forget it, but my law students are already mostly young enough not to really remember it.

But look at it this way: The Bush presidency was basically all about reacting to 9/11. The Obama presidency was mostly about reacting to the Bush presidency’s reaction to 9/11. Trump’s presidency has been about putting the United States in a position where things like that won’t happen. I’ll take it.

He usually provides a link to his 9/11/01 posts but for some reason didn’t this year, and the archive link redirects to the main Instapundit page. But from my own bitterly cynical point of view, I can only ask: at this late stage of the game, why bother?

Meanwhile, my good friend and esteemed fellow OG warblogger Bill Quick—DEFINITELY unsurprisingly for those of us who know him well—does indeed share my bitter cynicism. But even a Pro-level cynic like Bill can’t quite eclipse my own weapons-grade Bitter Cynicissitude, I don’t think.

We have, of course, forgotten.

It is natural that we would. Two of the current crop of young American heroes, Nick Sandmann and Kyle Rittenhouse, have no living recollection of the Muslim jihad attack on America that occurred on September 11, 2001, two years before either were born.

We move on. Time heals all wounds. Blah, blah, blah.

It is revealing that, from my point of view, Islam appears to have won that encounter. Americans of today seem far more worried about being perceived as “Islamophobic,” than they are about the ongoing wave of atrocities being committed around the world in Islam’s name.

Of course, we have become a soft and decadent people. One of the reasons we have not unconditionally won a war since WWII is that we don’t have the fiber to wage a war to victory. Hell, we even get the vapors if some white couple dares stand on their own property while bearing arms against a rioting mob invading their neighborhood.

We want to be “nice.” But what we end up being, over and over again, is dead.

I haven’t forgotten, nor have I forgiven. But I am part of a dwindling breed. Young heroic men like Kyle Rittenhouse and Nicholas Sandmann give me hope for the future. But I can’t escape the ominous feeling that even they may only be the last gasp of a dying past.

He’s right, of course, about all of it. Sadly, depressingly, that would include that last sentence.

But right now, what it’s all putting me in mind of is that, on 9/14/01, I registered the Cold Fury domain name. Over the next couple of days, I built the site from scratch—I had only just discovered this whole newfangled blogging thang, so the original site was constructed using Adobe GoLive and BBEdit—and on the 16th I put up the first few posts. Before too long, I would discover the old blogging software Grey Matter, using that for a while before switching over to Moveable Type, then finally moving on to WordPress soon after it came out.

And that, in turn, means that once again I’ll soon have to remind myself to renew the domain name. Usually I forget, leading to a stupid outage; the seemingly perennial personal-cash-flow blockage of the last several years means that renewing in advance, or setting things up for auto-renewal (such luxury!), just ain’t in the cards, alas. But I SWEAR I’ma get it done on time this year, dammit. I SWEAR it.

And that, in turn, puts me in mind of the necessity to begin the Herculean task of trying at last to untangle the malicious Russkie code planted in last year’s über-hack from the voluminous CF archive database, which I’ll be starting on forthwith, Lord help me. Maybe I’ll also see if I can dig up a screenshot from those halcyon early CF days and post that, too. No promises on that one, though. Heck, I don’t even know that I have one at all, much where I’d go a-hunting for such an elusive snipe.

A side yarn I’ve spun before here, while we’re on the subject of ancient history and bygone days: the Cold Fury name originally came to be because of my immediate realization that, although the whole country came together in the wake of the 9/11 attacks, that apparent unity was illusory, and would be short-lived. I knew that the Left would be unable to restrain its still-developing but already quite powerful America-Hate muscle from spasming involuntarily. Its Pavlovian instinct to lay the world’s every ill, every evil, and every injustice at America’s feet would soon find its too-predictable expression via the latest Islamic act of barbarism and savagery against the hated Western infidel. That sure and certain knowledge sparked a…well, yes, a Cold Fury in me that still scorches the soul even now.

In my bitterly cynical mind, I gave the dirty bastards no more than a week before they’d bare the bloody fangs and revert to their true nature. Two, at the outside.

In the event, I had been too magnanimous: as I recollect, it was no more than two-three days before the first establishment-media op-ed appeared, penned by some self-loathing shitlib bint or other who superciliously opined that, what with its many decades of Oppressing Innocent Brown People the world over—most especially the long-tormented Middle East, whose only sin was being situated atop all that accursed oil, placed by heartless Fate between Black Gold and AMERICAN GREED™—America had only itself to blame for the latest shattering, calamitous assault.

The rubble and carcinogenic dust hadn’t yet settled; the deadly fires still burned in Lower Manhattan. Nobody even knew yet how many innocent souls, from all over the world, had been murdered. An entire nation had been brought to a standstill, holding its breath while it waited for information about the calamity.

Yet here the loathsome brigands came nonetheless, bringing the routine Despicable-Left shit to be smeared all over tear-streaked American faces, ground into grieving American hearts.

They eagerly made an obscene, gruesome mockery of all human compassion, forbearance, and decency in an orgy of mindless hatred. And now, almost two decades later? If anything, they’re even worse than they were back then. Now as then, their only thought is to denigrate, to defile, to destroy. But today the thought has, by orders of magnitude, grown more intense. Their ambition has metastasized, their determination hardened far beyond the ability of mere words to break, soften, or deflect.

As Glenn has long said: Anti-war? Nope. On the other side.

Battlespace preparation

We didn’t so much finally find a hill to die on as that it punched us right in the face.

Let’s look at the scenarios the Washington Post article presented to understand that theirs was not so much a theoretical exercise as it was a roadmap for insurrection, a rally cry to the leftists burning down Seattle, Portland, Kenosha and any other city they can target before the election. First they gave us four possible scenarios A Biden Landslide, A narrow Biden win, but with electoral and popular vote victories, a narrow Trump win, but with a large popular vote loss and a period of uncertainty after the election.

Not once did they even play out the possibility of a Trump landslide, because then they would have to admit that riots in the street would also take place given that eventuality. It is more what they don’t say than what they do, that matters.

The crisis they see coming is the use of the Insurrection Act by Trump to “teach these anti-American terrorists a lesson.” Not to quell violent unrest by Biden voters that will not accept the outcome of the election, as played out when Hillary lost and continues to this day, but some invention of Donald Trump’s imagination, fear and hatred. (Notice that all of those playing out the Trump side were hostile anti-Trumpers.) The Washington Post is building into the narrative the purpose and excuse for their insurrection, nothing less. After the Donald Trump landslide and if it is not it will be a result of cheating and intimidation by Biden voters, they plan to take the streets, perhaps even drag Trump out of the White House, perhaps with Deep State cover from the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Every indication I’m seeing for a Trump victory is much greater than it was in 2016. The polls, even heavily weighted to the Democrats, are showing Trump much closer to Biden than he was to Hillary. He will probably still win, but not by the amount he would in a stand up election. The riots have influenced a lot of people who won’t claim support for Trump, but will nonetheless vote for him on election day.

The riots after election day, with cover from the media, will lead to insurrection and all of us will be on the front line in one way or another. You have trained, stock-piled and while it was hard to tell what for a lot of the time, this is what for. This is the hill to die on, not because of Trump himself, but because the communists want it bad enough to kill you in broad daylight for it. They will kill your whole family if they can, before they take power or after. It is only the preparedness and coolness of head that Kyle Rittenhouse showed that will bring us through it. Some of us won’t make it. But, what better reason to die than defending your families and your freedom? I can think of none.

All of them, from the rioters and looters to the MFM to the Democrat-Socialist-Riot Party itself, is telling us openly and in plain language what they intend to do. It’s time we started taking them at their word, and taking their words seriously. As for the WaPo “war game” article mentioned by TL, David Harsanyi examines it more closely.

In their “war game” scenarios, however, it’s the Democrats who refuse to accept the will of courts to adhere to the constitutionally prescribed system rather than hysteria, and it’s the Democrats who wishcast the wholly imaginary “popular vote” into existence.

One of the scenarios, we learn, “doesn’t look that different from 2016” — a contest in which, it must be pointed out, not one vote has been proven to be uncounted or altered. In that outcome, America is confronted with “a big popular win for Mr. Biden, and a narrow electoral defeat.” In the real world, incidentally, that scenario is called a “Trump victory.”

In the fictional war game, however, John Podesta, playing the role of Biden, contends that his party won’t let him concede the race and instead alleges “voter suppression” — the catchall go-to every time a Democrat loses — and persuades the Democratic governors of Trump-won states such as Wisconsin and Michigan to send pro-Biden electors to the Electoral College.

In the meantime, California, Oregon and Washington threaten to secede from the union if Trump takes office. The Democratic House unilaterally names Biden president. “At that point in the scenario,” the New York Times’ Ben Smith explains, “the nation stopped looking to the media for cues, and waited to see what the military would do.”

This scenario is what a real-life “coup” might resemble. It is, needless to say, utterly insane that Democrats would destroy the nation’s longstanding and peaceful transition because they refuse to accept the mandated process of electing the president. All of which is to say the proactive — and retroactive — delegitimization of the Trump presidency has been a successful four-year project.

Well, for them it has, I suppose. But for sensible, sane people, all they’ve really done is destroy their own credibility and harden his supporters’ hearts against them. It seems a Pyrrhic victory at best, one that might just turn around and bite them on the ass before long.

NEVER underestimate the enemy

It’s always and forever a mistake. If you don’t believe that, ask the Left; they’ve been doing it with Trump from the very beginning, to their eternal frustration and great cost.

Antifa tactical units are organized into standard ‘company structure’ of up to 20 individual soldiers under the immediate control of a comany commander. While there are ‘special units’, most notable the ‘reconnaissance & coordination’ teams of bicyclists, the base of the C&C structure for Antifa is the company.

Company commanders are ‘first lieutenants’ and may be idenfied in the field by their actions within the group, and frequently by possession of DX SDR units of some form. These ‘duplex (send/receive) software defined radio’ units will be small, and most probably attached to a smart phone. It is through the SDR’s that the encrypted commands are passed to operational units. On arrest, 1st Lieutenants have been observed disarding their identifying equipment as well as destroying their phones.First Lieutenants can also be identified as being the local hub for bicycle traffic. In observations of rioting/looting activity, particularly with long distance videos of qualtity, bicyclists can cleary be seen reporting to 1st Lieutenants & even seeking them out in the mob. For this activity, bicyclists have been noted to employ ‘proximate apps’ to locate their units & commanders.

The Anitfa field orgnaization has up to 4 companies reporting to a ‘captain (coordinator)’. Antifa Captians may be identified by common actions & equipment. Captains are ‘free floating’ within the mob movement, but will always be associated with increased bicycle traffic as well as ’emblems’ of authority/command. These emblems include sepcific types & shapes of video camera gear. Antifa soldiers are trained to center on the emblems of both 1st Lieutentant as well as Captains. Some of the Captains have been observed pulling their command together by holding up the long lens video camera overhead while running a pattern of flashes from the light bars. These are swept around the mob & new organization results.

Most of them may be doot-brained pussies just out LARPing as soldiers—disorganized, cowardly, and easily scattered at the slightest sign of opposition. But many of them are not, not at all. More of this truly must-read S2 material at the link, all of it interesting, indeed essential stuff. But the most fascinating part of all, for me at least, comes in at the end:

The structure of Antifa in the field most closely resembles the ‘color’ revolutions created by the CIA. The tactics employed so far in these Antifa field actions have very simiular targets & tactics as was observed as far back in time as the Viet Nam conflict, and in other arenas in which the CIA created wars and destabilized regimes.

While this is the end of this report on the Antifa C&C structure, it is worth noting that, in the observations taken from video footage, there is a suggestion of an ‘Unknown Actor’ (UA) within the activites involved in the looting. This UA is, like Antifa, organized, and can have many operatives within the mob at any given point. This UA does not appear to be engaging in escalation, rather appears to be most focused on ‘tagging’ the Antifa, with the presumed goal of identifying active members. These ‘tagging’ incidents have been observed employing very sophisticated UV light reflective paint ‘dots’ and ‘lines’ being placed on individual Antifa by UA agents using what appears to be a ‘nylon tipped marker’. Several of these markers with no product identifying marks have been recovered in debris following looting episodes. Also in one instance, a small bag of magnetic field reflective ‘dots’ of self-adhesive vinyl was also recovered. It is assumed that UA is using these as trace & track methods for their own purposes. The UA agents are exceptionally well trained and disciplined, exhibiting awareness of video activity sufficient to allow these agents to not yet be identified.

HMMMMM. Might these “unknown actors” actually be FBI or DHS, perhaps? Or dare we hope that this is some sort of militia/Threeper countersurveillance op, providing intel on where these twerps reside, their patterns of movement, contacts, etc for use when the time is ripe for action?

Years ago I attended Cousin Regbo’s change of command ceremony at NAS Norfolk, when he took over the Navy’s venerable Rampager squadron, VFA 83. One of many things I well remember from that most memorable of nights is a conversation at the O-Club after-party where the band played, between a crusty old Marine lifer and a gawky, still-soaking-wet butterbar. The Marine, gruffly chomping out sea-stories around a fat stogie to the enraptured (and endrunkened) audience at our table, was asked by this uncut youngster just what section it was he worked for.

“Little thing called Logistics, son,” he proudly purred, the sly grin of a hungry tiger beginning to widen as he anticipated dropping the hammer on another easy meal.

The LT, who seemed to be a fighter-jock hopeful himself, was not overly impressed by this admission, not in the least. He almost seemed to think that an apology might even be called for, for the old leatherneck having had the gall to tell tales of derring-do—doubtless all heavily embellished, if not outright fabrications conjured from behind the rear-area desk he must certainly have spent his entire career cowering behind.

LT Green’s evident skepticism led the Captain, clearly expecting such callow ignorance of all military history, to lean back and wax philosophical. “Wars, all wars, are won and lost not by you handsome flyboys streaking around way up above the battlefield in them fancy aeroplanes of yours, dropping bombs on real warfighters’ heads. They’ve always and forever been won by two things and two things alone: Intel, and Logistics.”

As our current conflict intensifies and escalates, it might come in useful for everyone to keep that old jarhead’s wisdom firmly in mind. One hopes that the LT, wherever he may be now, did.

Reality check update! A former Marine confirms the lesson.

In all the training that I’ve been through (in) my life, I’ve never been in one where in the first five seconds of the scenario you’re blinded with a strobe light and sprayed with pepper spray…. That changes everything. They were throwing these rocks from 15 feet back in the crowd, you couldn’t see who the fuck through it, etc. things like that…It’s just a good talking point for guys that carry concealed, but you need to think through all these different scenarios.

It got way worse after that video ended, they chased us for 11 city blocks. They had a convoy of about 25 vehicles that cut us off at the next intersection, They had scouts on the corner with radios, they had a drone following us, they had a bull horn calling us Nazis, and the crowd was following a red strobe light that was up in the air on a stick, so they would announce Nazis and then people would follow the red strobe light, That video is just the beginning, I’ve got a fucking fractured hand from a baton, everyone of us has black and blue bruises up and down their legs and back, I had a guy spit in my face from 6 inches away, call me a pussy and a coward for not doing anything about it, and then tell me that he was going to find where I live, rape my mother, rape my children in front of me and then kill me.

I’ve never been more angry about something in my fucking life, the level of restraint that it took for us to not fight back in any capacity whether that was with a gun or fists is incredible. All of us have kids at home. The only thing going through all of our minds was we have to be able to justify deadly force if we’re going to go that route, there’s also hundreds of these people, we can’t see straight because of all the pepper spray, and it’s hard to PID exactly who is throwing these rocks and hitting us with batons, because they would hit you and fucking run and their buddy would run up and hit you. It was an incredibly stressful situation, they did a very good job tactically of taking away your situational awareness, and in my opinion complicating your legal defense when you split one of their faces open with a hollow point.

The certain fact that you WILL be arrested and prosecuted vigorously for daring to defend yourself during one of these gang attacks—while your attackers skate away scot free, to do it all again to somebody else the next night—might be the most offensive aspect of all.

But this guy’s story underscores Ol’ Remus’ oft-repeated rule: stay away from crowds. The miserable worms of PantiFa ain’t all punks and creampuffs. And even punks and creampuffs are perfectly capable of inflicting some serious damage if they can cut you out and then dogpile you. It’s awfully hard to exfil unscathed from a no-win tactical situation like that, no matter how tough or well-trained you might be.

SEATTLE CLOSES PARK TO PREVENT OUTDOOR WORSHIP SERVICE: This notice sounds innocuous enough, just a legitimate public health measure. The reality is officials closed the park because it was the planned site for a worship time organized by a group of local churches, assisted by Sean Feucht. Feucht’s ministry organization has organized 19 services in 19 cities during July and August.

“This is the height of hypocrisy for the City of Seattle to turn a blind eye to riots, looting, and AntiFa, while refusing to let Christians gather in a public park to sing and worship,” Feucht said in a statement in response to the closure notice. “First the government shuts down churches. Now it’s shutting down parks to stop us from worshipping. Time to stand up church!”

If they don’t, they will soon be destroyed forever. And if they continue to submit to this naked tyranny, they will deserve to be. Michael Walsh’s sage advice from way back in 2012 is even more apt today:

In 1844, faced with a Nativist threat to burn down St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral (at Prince and Mott streets), John J. This he did in part by explaining the facts of the life to the English: that they’d have no luck in raising troops in restive, famine-stricken Ireland to fight against America, and a great deal of trouble if they tried.

Those were the days of the two-fisted Irish clergy, who understood their dual American roles as both the spiritual leaders of their people and — when necessary — political figures as well. But those days are long gone (Cardinal O’Connor was the last of the line).

It’s good to see the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops making noises about suing the government, but it would be even better to see Archbishop (and Cardinal-designate) Timothy Dolan get out front on this issue in a very public way. “Conscientious objectors” and “civil disobedience” were all the rage on the left during the Vietnam War and the draft,” and it’s high time we tried the same tactic on them: Catholic institutions should simply ignore the law, refuse to implement it, and refuse to pay the Obamacare fines — and dare the Left utter a peep about “higher morality.” There are 77 million Catholics in the U.S., and an awful lot of them vote.

In other words, Archbishop Dolan and his confreres ought to ask themselves, What Would Dagger John Do? No need for mobs this time, just morals. But if they’re not going to vigorously defend their own faith, in a Church Militant sort of way, who will?

Pretty sure I linked and excerpted this column way back in the day, I believe; honestly, I’m astonished that I even remembered. But when I read about the above instance of the broader rejiggering of the COVID “crisis” into a convenient tool to be wielded against all the perennial hate-objects of Leftist despotism—an abominable tide that has inundated the nation this disastrous summer—it became readily apparent that some things never change after all. I’ve written about Bishop John J. Hughes, the first Archbishop of New York, here and here, advocating that both the Catholic clergy and its laymen take a page from that tough mick’s book and deal with the Obama administration’s unconstitutional attack on religious conscience and the First Amendment the way Dagger John would have: by defying it.

Civil disobedience was all the rage on the left when I was a lad during the Vietnam War era. Refuse to register for the draft; declare your conscientious objector status if called; refuse to pay that portion of your taxes that went to support the Pentagon, etc. The liberals couldn’t wrap themselves in enough moral goodness as they cursed and spat upon the returning soldiers in their customarily peaceful and tolerant fashion.

Time to turn the tables by using their own weapons and tactics against them.

It was said of Dagger John that he was “more a Roman gladiator than a devout follower of the meek founder of Christianity.” To face the secular threat of the modern Left, we’re going to need a lot more gladiators.

It ain’t just the Christian church, both Protestant and Catholic, that needs to get its head out of the sand, shed all comforting delusions, and boldly defy our would-be masters. For all of us, it’s quickly boiling down to this simple expression: On your feet, or on your knees.

You don’t have to like it. But you DO have to recognize it.

In any war, to refuse to fight back vigorously is effectively to surrender. At such a perilous crossroads of history not only our freedom but our very future hangs precariously in the balance…waiting. A stark, binary choice must be made; there is no longer any middle ground, no third way, no half-measures. Anyone who declines to engage, in any way they can manage, in defense of what’s right, just, and true might as well just declare themselves actively in league with the enemy and be done with it.

Black Lives Matter DESTROYED and TORCHED the historic St. John’s Church in Washington DC in late May.

St. John’s was designed by noted architect Benjamin Henry Latrobe to serve Episcopalians in the neighborhoods in the western end of Washington. The cornerstone of St. John’s was set on September 14, 1815.

St. John’s Church leaders invited Black Lives Matter to paint race-based themes on the boarded up church this weekend.

They did not ask for Christian themes — they asked for racial themes.

Well, I mean, this IS Episcopalians we’re talking about here. But still. One can’t help but wonder what or who might be influencing these pathetic fools to prostrate themselves at the altar of cowardice and appeasement. Could it be…ohh, let me see…SATAN?!?

This has been going on for decades, of course, but its most striking manifestation of late has been the near-total failure of the Christian church to expose and reject the destructive fraud that is Black Lives Matter.

That kind of failure requires extraordinary ignorance, extraordinary cowardice, or both. After all, it’s not like the veil hasn’t come off Black Lives Matter, if it was ever there in the first place. Its founders openly profess their allegiance to Marxism, history’s most genocidal ideology. Its members repeatedly encourage violence, destruction, and even murder. Its website calls for the “disruption of the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure”, the end of accepting heterosexuality as normal, and the avoidance of “environments in which men are centered”.

At least two of its leading lights—Patrisse Cullors and Malina Abdullah—practice a Yoruban zombie religion in which they may, or may not, sacrifice animals to invite the spirits of the dead to possess their bodies during their nightly riot activities. (Abdullah says she’s become very friendly with the spirits of the dead, and has had a lot of laughs with one named “Wakeesha”).

In addition, the cited catalyst for the entire movement—the “murder” of Trayvon Martin in 2012—is a lie. Trayvon Martin was not “murdered”. He violently assaulted a man named George Zimmerman by pounding his head into the pavement. Zimmerman then shot him in self-defense. That’s precisely why a jury of six women acquitted him. Yet Black Lives Matter is still calling it a “murder” on its website.

The second rationale for the movement—that a racist white cop gunned down an innocent “gentle giant” named Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri—is also a lie. After robbing a store, Brown attacked a police officer trying to arrest him. As a result, the officer shot Brown in self-defense. Attorney General Eric Holder himself confirmed this after an exhaustive review.

These aren’t the only Black Lives Matter lies, of course. It’s a lie that there’s an epidemic of racist police shootings. It’s a lie that defunding the police will help black communities (it does just the opposite, and has already directly enabled the murder of hundreds more black people, including children).

In short, you couldn’t invent an organization which more flagrantly violates a greater number of Biblical commandments and Christian ideals than Black Lives Matter. You have murder, beatings, necromancy, stealing, bearing false witness, covetousness, lying, insurrection against duly-elected leaders, worshipping false gods, assaults on the family, assaults on heterosexuality, and a transparently fake concern for the black lives every real Christian is duty-bound to see as creations of God. It’s a Satanic dream.

And yet…

Pretty much all of Leftism is a Satanic dream, really. Ironic that the modern libtard-subverted church would be so eager to grovel at the feet of the Prince Of Lies, solely in order to court the favor of people who hate them above almost anything else.

Portland’s 100% Antifa Murder Suspect Shot Dead By U.S. Marshals in Washington
The left-wing agitator who shot a Trump supporter in Portland last weekend, was shot and killed during a shootout with U.S. Marshals in Washington, Thursday evening, according to the Olympian.

Michael Forest Reinoehl, 48, had reportedly crossed state lines into Washington and the federal fugitive task force was able to track him to Lacey, Washington, a town outside of Olympia.

The usual Lefty mouthbreathers will undoubtedly weep, wail, and riot over their fellow cretinous cur’s having been “gunned down in cold blood” by “murderous, out of control cops,” “assassinated” and/or “executed” most cruelly, and blah de blah de blah. They can eat a great big bag of dead dog dicks over the injustice of the thing, for all I care; as long as the worthless motherfucker has been permanently wiped off the face of the earth—hopefully suffering horribly before assuming ambient temperature—I give not a single shit.

Now do another.

The antifa gunman had been arrested twice in recent months on multiple charges, including gun charges.

Reinoehl posted on Instagram, in June: “Every revolution needs people that are willing and ready to fight. There are many of us protesters that are just protesting without a clue of where that will lead. That’s just the beginning that’s where the fight starts. If that’s as far and you can take it thank you for your participation but please stand aside and support the ones that are willing to fight. I am 100% ANTIFA all the way! I am willing to fight for my brothers and sisters! Even if some of them are too ignorant to realize what antifa truly stands for.”

On Thursday night, 48-year-old Michael Forest Reinoehl, a man suspected of killing Trump supporter Aaron “Jay” Danielson, died in a shootout as U.S. Marshals closed in on his hideout. Reinoehl had posted, “I am 100% ANTIFA all the way,” (although he later insisted he was not a “member” of antifa) and he had joined the rioters during most of the nearly 100 nights they have terrorized the streets of Portland. He all but confessed to shooting Danielson in an interview Vice News published on Thursday. After Reinoehl’s death, Portland antifa rioters appear to have made him something of a martyr.

“You murdered Michael Reinoehl,” antifa rioters spray-painted on the street in front of the Penumbra Kelly Building, which houses Portland Police Bureau (PPB) offices and which rioters have repeatedly attacked.

“You killed Michael,” another graffiti message charged. “PPB murdered Michael Reinoehl,” read another. “[There is] blood on YOUR hands,” read a fourth.

Good. Ideally, Real Americans will be positively swimming in seas of PantiFa blood before long.

Another graffiti message featured hearts saying, “Long live Mike the best ally ever.”

Ahem. “Long live,” eh? Ummm, not so much, you malignant little parasite.

Rock ‘n’ roll legend Elvis Presley’s famous mansion “Graceland” in Memphis, Tennessee has been vandalized by BLM supporters.

On Monday night, “protesters” who support the Marxist organization Black Lives Matter spray-painted slogans such as “Defund the police,” “Abolish ICE,” “F*ck 12,” “F*ck Trump,” and more on the wall and sidewalks surrounding the estate.

The damage is estimated to cost around $150,000.

Country musician Travis Tritt condemned the vandalism on Twitter, writing, “Anyone who personally knew Elvis will tell you that he absolutely loved the black community and the black community loved him. It breaks my heart to see his memory tarnished this way.”

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee said, “Where I come from you don’t mess with Elvis!”

Damned straight you don’t. Kill them. Kill them ALL. No mercy, no quarter, no remorse.

Simple solutions are rarely either simple, or solutions

Schlichter splashes a bucket of cold-water practical reality all over the “send in the troops” idea.

Let me share some background. After I got off active duty the first time, I joined the California Army National Guard. For the next 23 years I participated in, planned, and commanded during multiple civilian support operations. I was in the Los Angeles Riots, the Northridge Earthquake, and I commanded two battalions along with other forces in northern San Diego County during the 2007 fires. I planned ops from platoon to state headquarters level, and wrote about civil support ops in Infantry magazine and even in a first-of-its-kind law review article. So, I know a little about this stuff.

And what I know tells me that, despite our fantastic soldiers’ abilities, this is a bad idea.

But why? Let’s address the donkey in the room – Democrat governors, mayors and district attorneys do not want military forces deployed and will at least refuse to cooperate with them, if not actively hinder them. That makes a blue city like Portland a “non-permissive environment,” and the military is certainly designed to operate in them. That’s why when the military moves in force with, say, an infantry brigade combat team (IBCT) of 5,000 soldiers plus support elements (thousands more), we essentially deploy a small town with everything we need to survive – food, fuel, ammo, medical, maintenance, commo, power, transportation, even lawyers. Typically, in cities engulfed in chaos, it’s a permissive environment. The cops work with us. They take custody of arrestees, hold them, and the DA prosecutes them. Hospitals take in our wounded and sick. We use local government property to operate out of. We have access to the infrastructure of society. But what if the Democrat regime refuses to allow all that? Then the troops are on their own; it’s now an invasion, and while doable logistically, it takes a massive footprint.

A permissive environment solves some, but not all of the issues we will review. A non-permissive environment makes the whole thing exponentially worse.

The complications and punji-pits just go on a-multiplying from there, and Kurt delves into ’em thoroughly. I’ve been torn from the start about it myself; on the one hand, it’s tough to argue that a President should sit on his hands while a large number of Democrat-Riot Party governors and mayors sit back and let their cities be damaged and destroyed, rendered uninhabitable by their so-called leaders’ refusal to live up to their responsibilities, honor their oath of office, and do their duty.

On the other, though, it couldn’t have been more apparent that, their obstructionism aside, those outright criminal Demonrat officials were salivating at the prospect of being to brand Trump a dictator when he tried to restore law and order via military force. It is NEVER a good idea to do what Demonrats want—NEVER.

On the gripping hand, I can’t help but be reminded of Lincoln’s frustrated fatalism in January 1862: “It is exceedingly discouraging. As everywhere else, nothing can be done.”

But that isn’t by any means what Schlichter is saying.

These hard truths are not to say there is nothing for the feds to do. Until the Democrat regimes decide this needs to end and cooperate, the feds should do one of the few things the feds are good at – taking down large criminal organizations. Antifa is just like the drug cartels with less testosterone, and just like the mafia except with worse clothes and less testosterone. The feds should ignore the street thugs who make up the shock troops. It was no coincidence that 100 percent of the people Kyle shot had criminal records. The feds should focus on the LARPing middle class SJWs and the dedicated Marxist cadre and use RICO, conspiracy, and other federal charges to take them out and lock them up. When little Ashleigh from the suburbs realizes that she’s looking at five years in federal prison instead of heading back to the Evergreen State to finish her Bolivian Trans Dance of the 13th Century degree, the lawyer daddy buys her will get her to sing like a canary about her commie pals. The feds should identify and map the whole criminal organization, identify its players and funding, and wipe it out.

Look, it’s perfectly understandable to be frustrated. But getting mad at Trump because he is not doing something that would turn into the cluster fark to end all cluster farks is doing exactly what the liberal elite and its media minions want. Let Portland and the rest of the blue cities trash themselves. Let the DOJ, which has already charged dozens of these degenerates with federal beefs, do its thing. And make sure you get out and vote straight Republican if you want any hope of this ever ending.

Feds start leveling rare civil disorder charges against demonstrators for alleged violence at Portland protests
Two men and a woman appeared before a federal judge Wednesday in Portland, becoming the first in Oregon to face the rare federal charge of civil disorder for alleged violence during this summer’s turbulent protests.

A Seattle man is accused of launching a ball bearing with a slingshot during a downtown demonstration in July and striking a Portland Fire Bureau medic.

A Portland woman is accused of throwing a helmet that struck a police sergeant in the head last week outside the Police Bureau’s North Precinct.

The felony cases against Jesse Herman Bates, 38, Michelle Peterson O’Connor, 31, and Krystopher Michael Donnelly, 27, mark a significant detour from past practice in Oregon — federal prosecutors here haven’t used the charge in recent memory.

But U.S. attorneys in half a dozen other cities have brought similar civil disorder charges tied to violence that has erupted during protests nationwide decrying the May 25 death of George Floyd, a Black man who died after a white Minneapolis police officer knelt on his neck for more than eight minutes.

The Oregon U.S. Attorney’s Office is reviewing other violent actions from the last three months of protests and is expected to pursue similar civil disorder prosecutions.

What the hell, it’s a start. And if this courageous, valiant PantiFa warrior’s reaction to getting pinched is any indication, maybe it might suffice:

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – A Neenah man had a flamethrower, smoke grenades and fireworks during a demonstration in Green Bay Saturday night, according to police and prosecutors.

Matthew Banta, 23, is charged with obstructing an officer and two counts of felony bail jumping.

The criminal complaint says Banta “is known to be a violent Antifa member who incites violence in otherwise relatively peaceful protests.” Police say he’s known as “Commander Red.”

Green Bay police say they were called for “a whole bunch of white people with sticks, baseball bats and helmets headed… towards the police” on Walnut St. near Webster Ave.

“I don’t know who comes to a protest with a baseball bat for anything other than criminal or illegal activity,” said Green Bay Police Chief Andrew Smith.

A responding officer says he saw four individuals walking towards a protest with baseball bats. One man was wearing a metal helmet with goggles and military-style gear with multiple pouches, and was carrying an Antifa flag. When the officer pulled his squad car in front of the group, they ran away. The officer caught Banta, who was carrying the flag, and says Banta “dropped into the fetal position and began crying.” He accused the officer of lying on him; the officer replied nobody was on him.

Now, none of us should make the mistake of assuming they’re all as soft and gutless as this puling, pussified little baglapper is. Certainly, there are some genuinely hard boys in amongst the scrofulous, contemptible rabble of creampuffs, thumbsuckers, and mama’s boys. But there only has to be a large enough percentage of them who are for the whole sorry facade to be brought crashing down, perhaps even without having to destroy the nation utterly in getting the job done.

San Francisco salon owner Erica Kious disputed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) claim that she was “set up” by the salon this week when she broke COVID-19 restrictions and got her hair done at the salon, saying that Pelosi was the one who called and set up the appointment, and that she has been “coming in for quite a while.”

“She had called the stylist, or her assistant did, and made the appointment, so the appointment was already booked, so there was no way I could’ve set that up,” Kious said. “And I’ve had a camera system in there for five years. I mean, I didn’t go in there and turn cameras on as soon as she walked in to set her up. So that’s absolutely false.”

“So, Pelosi says that salons in San Francisco, and of course she lives there and she’s the most powerful democratic legislator in the world, but she said she understood that the restrictions allowed a one-on-one appointment in salons,” Fox News host Tucker Carlson said. “What do you make on that?”

“I heard that, and I thought to myself, well, as a hairstylist I see clients one-on-one, so, that would mean I would be open, right?” Kious responded.

“Are you open?” Carlson asked.

“No,” she responded.

Her Royal Majesty Piglousy, being who and what she is, has demanded an “apology” from the salon owner for daring to question her obviously justified elevation in status over the lowly peonage, and sent her legions of flying monkeys to avenge the disgrace of actually having to listening to the serf class having the temerity to question her about anything at all she wishes to do. Indeed, Her Most Puissant Highness is most displeased with you benighted swine, she is.

When asked what the shutdown has done to her business, Kious responded: “For the past six months, we’ve, I mean, we are pretty much done. I mean, we’ve lost at least 60% of our clients. I’ve lost the majority of my staff, so, six months is a long time to be closed down.”

“How do you feel about seeing the most powerful woman in America come into your salon in violation of the rules she supports, get caught, and then blame you for it?” Carlson asked.

You damned well better feel damned contrite about it, and hope that Her Liege is in a forgiving mood, lest she decree that your head be separated from your neck forcibly, with extreme prejudice.

“To be honest, it was more hurtful,” Kious responded. “She’s been coming in for quite a while, and just to see her come in and especially not wearing the mask, that’s what really got to me, but this isn’t even political. She’s been coming in there. It’s the fact that she actually came in and didn’t have a mask on, and I just thought about my staff and people not being able to work and make money and provide for their families, and if she is in there comfortably without a mask and feeling safe, then why are we shut down? Why am I not able to have clients come in? So, it’s been hard.”

“If Nancy Pelosi feels comfortable using your salon, why can’t civilians use it?” Carlson asked.

“Exactly and I’ll be honest, in our area in San Francisco, we are obviously the last county or city to not open,” she answered. “We’ve been trying to figure that out. We’ve been asking ourselves these questions for six months—I mean for the past actually four months, of why we are not reopened, and it’s kind of a good question. Again, we don’t know.”

Kious later stated that she does not plan on staying in San Francisco after this whole ordeal because of how the community has treated her in response to the situation with Pelosi.

I do hate to come across all churlish by pointing this out here and all, and I am most definitely on her side and wish her no ill, but…well, this being San Francisco, and knowing as I do the typical political leanings of the many, many salon owners and stylists I’ve known all through the years, well…I DO have to wonder who Ms Kious might have been voting for all these years, y’know?

No matter. I’d bet that after this dustup, however Left she might (or might not, in fairness) have been before, Kious is most likely a good deal less so than she was.

Anybody remember the quaint old days of yesteryear, when Americans used to take great pride in living in what they used to call a “classless society?” Nah, me neither. Hell, those days were long gone at least as far back as 1966 or so, as Gomer knew full well:

Submissive update! David Marcus searches hard for a silver lining.

Perhaps some good can come of Pelosi’s ignominy. Perhaps seeing her insane hypocrisy, owners will start opening their businesses and daring petty tyrants like Mayor de Blasio and Gov. Cuomo to shut them down. One of the truly remarkable — and chilling — aspects of the more arbitrary lockdown rules is that, in general, they have been consented to, not enforced. We have given away our rights as much they have been taken from us. Well, if Pelosi doesn’t have to live under these absurd restrictions, then neither should you.

The jig is up here. People have a right to feel frustrated and furious, and they also have a right to disobey these crushing laws that Democratic leaders impose but refuse to live by.

If all of this is beginning to feel to you like a sick charade, you aren’t alone. This is a slap in the face, but Democrats and their media allies don’t care. They are counting on you to just take it. But the American people can only take so much before they start demanding their lives and livelihoods back.

Might be time to bring back some old, tried-and-true favorites—like tar and feathers, riding on a rail, and the stocks.

Today we’re settling all outstanding family business.

President Trump held a press conference with the White House press corps on Monday following Joe Biden’s botched speech on far left rioting in America.

It wasn’t botched. It was one hundred percent lies start to finish—except, as Tucker noted, the bit where he threatened Real Americans with unending riots, looting, and murder if they don’t vote for whoever is running him—but that doesn’t mean it was “botched.” Lies are simply all they have left now.

CNN’s Kaitlin Collins asked the president if he will condemn his violent supporters in Portland.

This comes after a BLM-Antifa terrorist shot dead a Trump supporter this weekend.

Only a liberal media hack would ask such a question.

President Trump dunked on the CNN hack linking the liberal media to the violent rioters!

President Donald Trump: I understand there were large numbers of protesters who were my supporters but that was a peaceful protest. And paint is a defensive mechanism. Paint is not bullets. Your supporters, and they are your supporters, shot a young gentleman, not with paint but with a bullet. And I think it’s disgraceful. These people they protested peacefully, they went in very peacefully. I tell you what they’re protesting. They turn on the television or are reading whatever they are reading and see a city like Chicago where 78 people were shot and 13 died. Or a city like New York where the crime rate has gone through the roof. Or a city like Portland where the entire city are ablaze all the time and the mayor says, “We don’t want any help from the federal government.” When these people turn it on and they say that this is not our country, this is not our country!

This press conference was nothing short of amazing, with a crapton more excellent stuff from that point. Trump directly named and shamed the Democrat-Riot Party, calling them out in no uncertain terms as the ones responsible for the violence and destruction they intentionally instigated. But the high point was in reference to this:

The Department of Justice has launched an investigation into the organization and funding of the violent protests that have disrupted several U.S. cities in recent months, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Chad Wolf told “Tucker Carlson Tonight” Monday.

“This is something that I have talked to the AG personally about,” said Wolf, adding that the DOJ is now focused on “targeting and investigating the head of these organizations, [and] the individuals that are paying for these individuals to move across the country.

“What we know, Tucker, is that we have seen groups and individuals move from Portland to other parts of the country,” Wolf addeed. “Almost 100 of them were from out of state.”

Wolf revealed the probe days after Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., called on the Justice Department to investigate those funding the organized riots after he and his wife were accosted by demonstrators on the final night of the Republican National Convention.

Paul commented on the issue in an opinion piece for Fox News published Friday, revealing some of the protesters were actually staying in the same hotel — and on the same floor — as he and his wife.

“My question is: Who are these people?,” he wrote. “Who paid for their hotel rooms? Who flew them in? Law enforcement needs to look at the funding of violent criminal activity like this. And national Democrats need to confront it. It’s organized. It’s paid for. It’s violent. It’s not about Black lives or any lives; it’s about anarchy and destruction.”

According to Wolf, investigators agree that violent actors “are moving around” the country.

“We have seen them in D.C., in Sacramento, and elsewhere,” he said. “They are organized. We have seen similar tactics being used from Portland and other cities across the country as well.”

Wolf pledged the help of the Department of Homeland Security to assist the Justice Department in their probe.

Now, I’m quite sure that President Trump is personally acquainted with evil pond scum like Soros, Buffet, Styer, and the Leftist revolutionary front organizations they use to funnel clandestine cash to the Democrat-Riot Party’s PantiFa/BLM/etc stormtroopers. As he’s been proving for more than four years now, to the heartbroken chagrin of Leftards everywhere, Trump is neither stupid nor gullible.

It only stands to reason, therefore, that he knows full well what has really been going on this long, ruinous summer〈not only WHAT, but also WHY it’s going on, and WHO is behind it all.

And with today’s announcement of this ongoing investigation, Real Americans get their own lesson in why it’s important never to underestimate one Donald J Trump, President of the United States of America, blessings be upon him. Remember, folks: just because you can’t see it at the moment doesn’t mean that nothing is happening.

He knows how they’re gonna come at him. He’s known all along.

Update! The usual suspects.

One, dangerously opaque foundations, such as the Tides Foundation, which takes cash in big amounts from anonymous donors and has been known to contribute to terroristic organizations such as Earth First! and the “Ruckus Society,” have stepped up their donations to “social justice” and “criminal justice” and “racial justice” organizations. George Soros’s Open Society Foundation, while less opaque, given that the group’s money comes from Soros’s vast fortune as a currency speculator, is in this category, too. Here is what the New York Post, via the Center for Consumer Freedom, noted:

The New York Post reports today that the secretive Tides Foundation began organizing attacks on President Bush after receiving millions of dollars from foundations controlled by presidential candidate John Kerry’s wife. Tides’ role in this “charitable money-laundering” operation is hardly surprising. After all, for over two decades it has been a major financial clearinghouse for radical activist groups. Many major philanthropies like the Ford Foundation and Pew Charitable Trusts fund projects through Tides to disguise themselves as the funding source.

Anti-consumer beneficiaries of Tides’ “anonymous” funds include Greenpeace, the Ruckus Society, the Center for Science in the Public Interest, the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), and Earth First!. Earth First! spun-off the FBI-certified “terrorist” Earth Liberation Front in 1992. Tides was instrumental in NRDC’s now-infamous (and unfounded) health scare about Alar on apples. NRDC paid the PR firm that was promoting the scare through the Tides Foundation.

Second, the Democrats, who also take money from the donors to these foundations that may be behind these riots, have been curiously silent in their failure to condemn the violence, even on people they know and work with from the Senate building. Joe Biden made a general condemnation of violence after poll numbers showed that rioter violence was not playing well with the American voters, but he hasn’t said a thing about the attack on Sen. Rand Paul. His running mate, Kamala Harris, is even worse, witchily cackling that the violence will never stop, as noted in this well written blog item today by Bill Dunne here.

Paul noted the irony of his own role in attempting to get justice for Breonna Taylor, who was killed in a no-knock raid on apparently the wrong apartment, writing a bill to ban no-knock raids. But he came off as a little naïve there — these mobs aren’t interested in reform. They want to tear the whole edifice down, and some huge billionaires are behind them. More than tanks in the streets, there needs to be an investigation into who’s funding these mobs and arrests of the foundation executives and moneybag billionaires found to be involved. We still don’t know precisely which ones are doing this, and it’s critical that we find out, because as Harris says, the attacks won’t stop (and we need to know how Harris would know this, too).

There’s nothing whatever “curious” about the Demonrats’ silence on the chaos. They’re behind this whole mess: running it, supporting it, instigating it. And yes, I noted Paul’s unfortunate and nearly-fatal naivete last night my own self. He and a sizeable portion of the rest of the country had better wake up to some extremely unpleasant realities most ricky-tick, before the Democrat-Riot Party has this entire nation circling the same drain their blue cities now are.

As for Harris, just guess how she knows.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have a problem. They know it, the media knows it, everyone knows it.

For three months they have ignored the deadly rioting that spread across the nation’s cities on both coasts and in between. They insisted that what we were seeing was “mostly peaceful” protests and that Donald Trump and his evil allies were defaming decent Americans who just want social justice. Now they want to denounce these riots, but there is a problem: Harris is a financial supporter of the rioters she now claims to denounce.

Yes, that’s right, the Democrats’ vice presidential candidate was a huckster for a bail fund that sought to free violent criminals who were rioting on the streets of Minneapolis, and she was very effective at it. In the wake of deadly fires and looting, Harris asked her five million plus Twitter followers to donate money to bail out the “protesters” arrested in the riots. Let’s meet a few of the beneficiaries of her largesse, shall we?

It’s the usual aggregation of creeps, reprobates, whey-faced pustules, and prison-bound mental defectives always found in abundance wherever Lefties gather, naturally.

The American people aren’t stupid, they know exactly where Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party stood on the riots. They stood side by side with the rioters. That they have now cynically come to regret that position is, I suppose, a good thing. But it does not erase the harm done in lives, property, and opportunity that their approval of rioting did. We know whose side they were on, and it wasn’t the police. The American people will not forget that.

Well, I suppose we’ll find out soon enough whether they will or won’t, and just how stupid or not the American people might be. Because the choice is indeed abundantly clear: whether Americans love Trump or just hate him all to pieces, a vote for Biden is a vote for more trouble, more violence, more anarchy, more harm.

Wanna talk terrorist murder, shitlibs? Assassins? I don’t think you do. I really don’t.

On Saturday, hundreds of Trump supporters gathered in the outskirts of Portland in a “Cruise Rally” in pick-up trucks with a lot of Trump 2020 flags decked out all over the cars.

After their rally, they then decided to drive into Portland. They were set upon, in the words of the media, by “counter-protesters” otherwise known as radical leftists/Antifa folk.

Leftist tried to block some of the cars, other cars they threw things at, threatened or stole flags from. Some of the Trump supporters defended themselves with pepper spray or paintball guns. There were multiple fights between the two groups.

They cornered Patriot Prayer’s Joey Gibson and beat the heck out of him. He survived because the folks in the gas station saved him and pulled him inside. Then Antifa tried to besiege the station.

But as we reported earlier, the worst incident was when a man came up and apparently walking up to the Trump supporter and fired point blank, killing him.

Then they celebrated the death of the Trump supporter, cheering when one of their leaders announced he was dead, even burning an American flag in the celebration, after slandering the man calling him a “nazi” and saying “our community held its own. they “took out the trash.”

The rancid piece of subhuman debris who pulled the trigger appears to be a 48 year old snowboard instructor named Michael Reinoehl.

The Nationalist Review wrote in their in-depth report, “the 48-year-old ‘professional snowboarder’ was previously featured on a Bloomberg promo for the riots where he described himself as part of the rioter’s security apparatus. Reinoehl touted his military experience and described events that led up to him receiving a bullet grazing on his arm. In the video, a neck tattoo identical to the shooter’s own tattoo is seen on his neck.”

What goes around comes around, scum. But just get a load of Portland riot co-conspirator Ted Wheeler’s response to Trump repeatedly calling him out for the nefarious muttonhead he is:

And well it might be. They can’t swing his ass quick enough to suit me. He damned sure ought to be sent to Hell with a crowd to keep him company, too.
