An open letter to Trump from “America,” in the guise of Joe Hoft.

Dear Honorable President Donald J. Trump,
It has come to our attention that despite your repeated Executive Orders to declassify all information concerning the plot to destroy your campaign and your Presidency, these orders are being blocked. As you know, as President, you have full authority to declassify this intelligence.

We understand that the Deep State, including people inside the White House and ostensibly on “your” side, are warning you not to do this and to keep the information from the public. They are betraying you. The claim that releasing the information would harm US National Security is a lie. The reality is that by releasing this information you will expose the dirty deeds of Americans and the foreign countries that have conspired to destroy you and end your Presidency.

We know some of what is contained in this intelligence. We know that it shows the role that intelligence operatives from the United Kingdom played in trying to destroy your chance to become President. We are given to understand that the evidence of foreign interference in the November Presidential Election is indisputable.

You must release this information, not just to save your Presidency, but to save and preserve the Republic. Your oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution is on the line.

We plead with you to ignore the worm tongues who surround you and work to undermine you. We are with you.

We are, for the nonce anyway. The thing is, “standing with Trump” against the weasels, termites, and traitors who have incrementally stolen and then wrecked this country is going to involve more than just doing so rhetorically if it’s to be effective. It’s going to involve making an actual, literal STAND. A physical stand, one which could turn out to be the LAST.

And, sorry as I genuinely am to have to say so, every day it becomes more and more evident that said stand, in turn, will necessarily involve actual, literal violence. At this late date, there is simply no other option left.

As NC Reed’s foreboding quote over in the right sidebar has it: “They want to rule us and aim to do it. We aim not to allow it. All there is to it.” And so it is. The Enemy has demonstrated that he will not relent without having some serious pain inflicted on him, pain severe and damaging enough to be carried in memory as a tender spot for many years to come. Until such time, all else is just blather and bluster.

Declassifying everything, then following up to ensure it’s all accessible to the general public, is one among many actions that, in hindsight, Trump should have taken long ago. The recent pardons of more than two dozen people guilty of no real crime at all was a good start, as is evidenced by the anguished howl it raised from the demonic Left. But no one should be thinking of it as anything more than that. The sequence of events I’d like to see:

  • Following the aforementioned mass declassification and distribution, he takes up the infamous “pen and a phone” to fire all Obama stay-behinds and secret saboteurs, then disbands entire Federal departments summarily
  • Trump’s next move is to turn a honking great flammenwerfer on every Deep State shitpile: office furniture and machinery, files, Swamp critters, buildings—flash-roasting the whole stinking mess to a crispity crunch. Figuratively, or otherwise
  • After that, he convenes a press conference consisting of only two words: “Sayonara, suckers!”
  • Next, the Last American President tootles off to Andrews AFB—pausing atop the AF-1 boarding stairs to thumb his nose and blow a loud raspberry at the corrupt shithole he’s leaving behind forever—and flies directly to Texas to begin the Great Purge of Austin, scouring the city of every empty-headed liberal dunce, man-bunned hipster douchebag, sandal-shod undergrad, and scraggly-assed, Marxist UT-Austin professor/parasite currently stinking up the place
  • He is then joined by Governor Abbott for another press conference in which they proudly co-announce the formal activation of the Republic of Texas, in accordance with the relevant provisions in Article 1 of the state’s Constitution. Not merely some kind of US government-in-exile, the RoT is conceived as a fully independent political entity, properly ordered and of equal legal status with all other nation-states
  • Trump ends his last Enemedia availability as POTUS with a statement offering a warm welcome to all Real Americans desirous of lawfully immigrating to the new Republic, closing with a stern warning to the FUSA that while the Republic—harboring no ill will towards the long-ago-murdered and now-defunct nation it was formerly a part of—has absolutely no wish or intent to wage offensive war against it, is nonetheless both prepared and perfectly willing to defend itself against it, using any and every means at hand in order to preserve its independence
  • Gobsmacked FUSAN Enemedia “journalists,” those who did not slump to the floor in a dead faint from shock already, are officially declared persona non grata in the RoT and ordered to the border, where they will be forcibly ejected with neither delay nor appeal. Their unconscious colleagues are unceremoniously tossed into the back of three waiting deuce-and-a-half military trucks, piled three deep onto one another for the final exit from Texas. On arrival at the border, several platoons of flint-eyed RoT soldiers frogmarch the ragged formation of corpulent, sweat-drenched swine to the line and across, prodded by locked-and-loaded assault rifles at their backs should any of these undesirables prove so foolish as to turn around and attempt re-entry. The escort’s sole ROE? No warning shots—SHOOT TO KILL
  • Several of the more sensible among the FUSA’s remaining prisoner-states petition the new nation to attach themselves as additional, legally-sanctioned territories of the RoT, with the goal of forming a Confederacy of Freedom with the RoT as its head
  • Everybody lives happily ever after

FINALLY!

Not a moment too soon, either.

Pomp Hair Salon in Stockton California was raided by state officials who cited the salon for continuing operations. The subsequent misdemeanor citation comes from the state. However, local law enforcement and county prosecution say they will not participate in the enforcement mechanism.

This creates an unusual dynamic as the state has threatened to revoke licenses for the salon and the workers; but what “enforcement” action could the state undertake?

The issues highlighted here cover more than hair salons. Restaurants and bars are facing similar threats from regulatory agencies: Dept of Health, Bureau of Alcohol, etc. It is the regulatory issue that keeps many business owners in fear of defying COVID lock-downs.

If local officials break from state regulatory and compliance demands, there’s no precedent for what enforcement action a state might attempt to take unilaterally.

Would ideologically prone state governors attempt to send State Police to enforce their unilateral fiats and face a showdown with local law enforcement?

It is into this dynamic when everyone should remember the County Sheriff is the highest constitutional officer in the region. A county sheriff can nullify any outside law enforcement agency by simply not complying. This is a well known issue inside law enforcement.

This takes the blue state (totalitarianism) -vs- red state (freedom/liberty) issue into a more granular distinction. Within the Blue States there are likely to be contests of power between local and state officials. It is an interesting dynamic.

Oh, I’d say it’s a good bit more than just “interesting.” It’s vital, is what it is.

They Live Lie

John updates Plato’s Allegory Of The Cave for the modern era, putting the cherry on top with some truly painful puns and a canny reference to John Carpenter’s classic film They Live.

The bad news is, to one extent or another, we’re all prisoners of the cave.  We see misperceptions in our daily life, either of our own construct or as constructed for us.

Who would construct misperceptions for us?

Lots of people.  Here are a few examples:

  • Harry Truman, on August 6, 1945, said: “Sixteen hours ago an American airplane dropped one bomb on Hiroshima, an important Japanese Army base.”  Well, sure.  It was a militarily important city.  And farms were militarily important because they made food that people might eat.  And schools were militarily important because they educated children that could fight us.  But that would be like saying, “San Francisco, an important American Army base.”  (Note:  I’m not saying I disagree with the decision, just that Truman’s statement was shady as a Netflix® show about dancing children.)
  • Operation Northwoods: Essentially a plan from the Pentagon for our military to stage terrorist attacks in the United States while pretending to be Cubans as a justification to attack Cuba. Really. Here’s the Wikipedia® on that (LINK). Not Alex Jones.  Wikipedia™.
  • The CIA performed illegal mind control experiments on American and Canadian civilians. Here’s the Wikipedia (LINK). Most of the documents were burned, so there’s no telling how many people were impacted. When I first heard of this, my response was that it was impossible. Nope. They did it.
  • Let’s pull the media in, too. The New York Times® “reporter” Walter Duranty wrote stories that there was no mass starvation in the Soviet Union in the early 1930s, despite knowing that millions were being starved to death on purpose. Duranty got a Pulitzer Prize™ for his lies – a prize that has never been rescinded. I wrote about that starvation here (In The World Murder Olympics, Communists Take Gold And Silver Medals).

I could do dozens more where the government, academia, industry, or unions lied and most people believed them. I’ve written about those again and again – the 1960’s Harvard Sugar Study, anyone (High Carbs, Harvard, Insurance, And Avoiding Doctors)? If it was just statements from politicians that were lies that most of us believed? I don’t have enough electrons on my computer to store all of those.

Essentially, unless I get up and go outside of the cave I’m in, I’m sitting and watching those shadows on the wall. But when I do get up and go outside of that cave, I learn amazing things – all those things that are glossed over in history classes, and generally not easy to find, though they’re (for today) clearly documented on even Left-leaning sites like Wikipedia®.

Fifteen year old me wanted to believe in the government, wanted to believe that the press wasn’t hopelessly corrupt. Me in 2020 has seen too much.

If you haven’t seen the movie They Live, there is a scene where the protagonist tries to help his friend stop staring at the shadows on the wall of the cave. In the movie, there are sunglasses you can wear to see a different reality. The clip below from the movie, with Rowdy Roddy Piper playing the protagonist, and Keith David playing his reluctant friend who really, really doesn’t want to put on the glasses (some NSFW dialog):

Since I always just loved the flick—and Rowdy Roddy, and what the heck, Keith David too—I’m more than happy to endorse Wilder’s example by using the sincerest form of flattery.




Possibly the longest fistfight sequence in all of moviedom, but for me it never gets old. Back to John for the payoff.

Leaving the cave is scary, and it’s difficult. And I absolutely don’t promise that understanding reality a little bit better will make you happy – it’s very likely to have the opposite effect. But it will bring you one step closer to the truth.

Maybe you and I can finally figure out what those shadows really are.

Let’s go see what’s outside.

By all means, let’s. Admittedly, there’s plenty of the real, the bad, and the scary out there, sort of offsetting the beauty and grace. But in the end, the truth is the only thing that can set us free. And by now we all ought to have learned that the chances of ever getting even the smallest morsel of truth from Ruling Class reprobates who have for so long fed us nothing but falsehood hovers somewhere betwixt None whatsoever and You can’t be serious.

Pre-arranged battle plan

All the tools we’ll ever need are already in our kit, having been placed there for our use long, long ago.

Critics and supporters alike must understand that all of the weapons to fight back against a tyrannical government, either county, state or federal, was written over two hundred years ago in anticipation of a time such as this. How to handle a corrupt election was covered in the 12th Amendment and requires the President of the Senate (the Vice President) to open the ballots for president and if there is a tie, produced in this case by the alternate electors, “the House of Representatives shall choose immediately, by ballot, the President. But in choosing the President, the votes shall be taken by states, the representation from each state having one vote” This gives the Vice President the ability to deny the electors from states who conducted fraudulent elections, or to equally value those representing the current president.

The First Amendment recognizes the right of the people to speak freely and to redress grievances against the government. What this means, is that the people need to be free to read whatever might be published about the corruption of the government and the government cannot inhibit our ability to do so. They cannot deny that we gather and demand a redress of grievances and never has there been a more important time to do so. The president has asked the people to present themselves on the 6th of January, in Washington, D.C. as a show of force against the corrupt and illegitimate results of the presidential election.

The Second Amendment allows us to be armed as a means of overwhelming the power of the government to dissuade us from exercising all of our other rights, especially the right to demand a redress of grievances. Laws have been passed lately to deny that right, but I suggest that there never has been a time to ignore such unconstitutional laws as when one is going to demand their constitutional rights to have a free and fair election validated by the count of the actual and legal votes of the American people. 

The Fourth Amendment guarantees our right to hold private conversations, without the interference of government intrusion, exactly so that we might conspire against such government that has violated so many rights of the people. 

The recognition must be made that we are at war. Those who would subjugate us to a foreign power are standing in the wings of this election, prepared to deliver us to our foreign enemies. They are in league with foreign enemies by virtue of ideology, that ideology being one of globalism rather than nationalism. It is a betrayal of monumental proportions and it stares us right in the face. 

While the Constitution was written to make us feel better about our ultimate rebellion against an illegitimate and antagonistic government, it is not the words on paper that give us that right. Self-determination about the condition of our lives gives us that right. What we recognize in the Constitution is that our forebears understood and recognized that someday we would have to cling to the banner for which it stands and declare ourselves free. They gave us the tools by which we might resist this usurpation of the will of the people, but it did not demand that we use it. That is for us to decide. In our freedom, we will decide to be free or enslaved and only those who show up and do their duty will decide which it is to be. 

That’s about the size of it, yeah.

Phony War III

Will it get real?

We are in the initial phase of the new civil war. Call it the phony war, which was also the “strangely quiet start to World War II.” The Second World War went eight months without significant hostilities on the Western Front, months marked by puzzlement and hesitancy (see the “Confetti War,” which stemmed from the Phony War.)

America’s first civil war had its phony phase of sorts, too. Lincoln was elected on November 6, 1860. Fort Sumter was attacked on April 12, 1861. Over five months, tensions built, and then hostilities commenced.

The parallels aren’t exact, of course. But the phony phase of this new civil war is reminiscent. One of the grievous errors made in warfare is fighting the current war like the last. In this instance, it’s expecting that wars have orthodoxies, and if those orthodoxies aren’t present, then there isn’t war. Understandings must change.
         
Liberty’s enemies have opted for brinkmanship to settle matters, once and for all. They haven’t mustered armies to seize Washington, D.C.(would they have to anyway?) and occupy red states. Give them credit. They aim to achieve their coup without firing a shot. Call it a velvet-gloved coup d’état. Some are terming it a “Color Revolution.” The war they’re waging to seize power is conspiratorial, innovative, multidimensional. It relies on subterfuge, misinformation, misdirection, audacity, and a gamble: that while millions of patriots may now squawk and shake their fists, they will go no further…that when Biden is installed as president, and the cabal he fronts holds the levers of power, resistance will be futile, anyway. Anger will give way to sullen resignation.

The Left’s possibly fatal mistake was that successfully stealing the election forces the hand of those “millions of patriots.” With their backs against the wall, patriots left with but two options: surrender and lose all, or prove once and for all that the arrogance behind the Left’s “they will go no further” assumption was unjustified. The entire coup depends on this assumption being accurate. If it isn’t, and enough patriots are indeed willing to go to the mat to take their freedom and their country back, it’s the Left that will lose all.

Which brings us all back around to the Biggest Question again: Are Americans still Americans? Or are they not?

The betting is that liberty’s enemies have misjudged patriots. Today, this generation is being called, and the call will be answered. The enemy will marvel — as other enemies have wondered before — as patriots fight with resolve for freedom.

Liberty is nonnegotiable, and patriots vow unabashedly: Sic Semper Tyrannis.

America isn’t its real estate. It’s unique in human history, in that it’s an idea and ideal, the product of timeless principles and enduring values. America as conceived in liberty is what the fight is for.

Don’t let this phony war fool you. The present is deceptive. The cabal that failing and corrupt Joe Biden fronts knows that if it succeeds in installing Biden, it will have 48 months to cement its hold not just on presidential elections, but elections down ballot. 48 months to scuttle Trump’s achievements and impose its own radical, antiliberty polices and edicts, thereby forever changing the United States. If successful, the Constitution won’t be worth the parchment it’s written on. And if Trump returns to the White House?  War it will still be.

We’ve entered momentous and perilous times, comparable to the four years of the Civil War and the eight years of the Revolution. How this war evolves is unknowable. Wars tend to have lives of their own. No patriot should assume a favorable outcome. The days ahead must be hard fought, for victory must be hard won. It’s simply the price of freedom.

T’is so, and t’was ever thus. Ringing down through the long years, perhaps more relevant now than ever before, come the deathless words:

In vain, after these things, may we indulge the fond hope of peace and reconciliation. There is no longer any room for hope. If we wish to be free—if we mean to preserve inviolate those inestimable privileges for which we have been so long contending—if we mean not basely to abandon the noble struggle in which we have been so long engaged, and which we have pledged ourselves never to abandon, until the glorious object of our contest shall be obtained—we must fight! I repeat it, sir, we must fight! An appeal to arms and to the God of Hosts is all that is left us!

They tell us, sir, that we are weak—unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a British guard shall be stationed in every house? Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

Sir, we are not weak if we make a proper use of those means which the God of nature has placed in our power. Three millions of people armed in the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we possess, are invincible by any force which our enemy can send against us. Besides, air, we shall not fight our battles alone. There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations, and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave. Besides, sir, we have no election. If we were base enough to desire it, it is now too late to retire from the contest. There is no retreat but in submission and slavery! Our chains are forged! Their clanking may be heard on the plains of Boston! The war is inevitable—and let is come! I repeat it, sir, let it come!

It is in vain, sir, to extenuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry, Peace, Peace—but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!

Amen, to every word. May God grant that we honor our noble forefathers and prove ourselves worthy of their legacy.

The biggest DIY project of all time

During an impromptu address from the White House Tuesday night, President Trump called his supporters to “raise their voices” and demand that election injustices be “immediately corrected.”

“If this egregious fraud is not fully investigated and addressed, the 2020 election will forever be regarded as illegitimate and the most corrupt election in the history of our country,” the president declared.

In his remarks, President Trump sought to explain to the American people why he is “so determined to pursue every legal and constitutional option available” to overturn the 2020 election.

“As president, one of my most solemn duties is to protect the integrity of your sacred right to vote,” Trump said. “This year, using the virus as a pretext, Democrat officials in the key swing states illegally violated their own state laws in order to enable, encourage and facilitate fraud on a scale never before seen in the history of our country.”

The president insisted that he won the election by a landslide. “We won it big,” he said.

“Now is the time for the American people to raise their voices and demand that this injustice be immediately corrected,” Trump said.

Sorry, Mr President, but mere voices aren’t going to fix this, no matter how many of them we raise or how high we raise them. How could they, when we know our enemies are deaf to them anyhow? No, I’m afraid we’ll have to raise something more, um, tangible, shall we say. Something that causes more than just psychological pain when it’s raised. Something that will raise a few things in its own special way: bruises, welts, blisters, scars.

You’re right, however, to urge We the People to stand with you in support. The fact is that, sooner or later, the defense of liberty always falls to us. The task is far too vital to trust a proven-untrustworthy “leadership” cabal to see the job done. We have shirked; we have been slack and indolent, we have sought to fob our duty off on others. Even worse, we seem to have forgotten that it ever was our duty in the first damned place.

As a result, we’ve fallen badly behind on the maintenance that keeps our blessed inheritance properly tuned, and now find ourselves in one hell of a mess. The Constitution engine is wheezing, clanking, spewing smoke and fluids from a dozen places due to years of neglect and abuse. It’s dangerously close to throwing a rod or breaking the crank, seizing it beyond hope of repair. It’s no more than appropriate and just that we re-shoulder the burden, take up the tools prescribed in the manual (yes, I do mean THOSE tools, should the Enemy persist in his ever-more-crude thievery and thuggery), and get back to work before we find ourselves broken down far from home, stranded in a dark and dismal place into which we should never have strayed, and will endlessly rue the visit.

American taxpayers still reeling from coronavirus lockdowns will be shelling out billions to foreign countries if Congress passes a $2.3 trillion spending bill unveiled Monday.

The 5,593 page budget-busting bill was posted online Monday afternoon, only hours before House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said a vote would be held.

For some countries, Christmas came early:

  • $169,739,000 to Vietnam, including $19 million to remediate dioxins (page 1476).
  • Unspecified funds to “continue support for not-for-profit institutions of higher education in Kabul, Afghanistan that are accessible to both women and men in a coeducational environment” (page 1477).
  • $198,323,000 to Bangladesh, including $23.5 million to support Burmese refugees and $23.3 million for “democracy programs” (page 1485).
  • $130,265,000 to Nepal for “development and democracy programs” (page 1485).
  • Pakistan: $15 million for “democracy programs” and $10 million for “gender programs” (page 1486).
  • Sri Lanka: Up to $15 million “for the refurbishing of a high endurance cutter,” which is a type of patrol boat (page 1489).
  • $505,925,000 to Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama to “address key factors that contribute to the migration of unaccompanied, undocumented minors to the United States” (pages 1490-1491).
  • $461,375,000 to Colombia for programs related to counternarcotics and human rights (pages 1494-1496).
  • $74.8 million to the “Caribbean Basin Security Initiative” (page 1498).
  • $33 million “for democracy programs for Venezuela” (page 1498).
  • Unspecified amount to Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Curacao, and Trinidad and Tobago “for assistance for communities in countries supporting or otherwise impacted by refugees from Venezuela” (page 1499).
  • $132,025,000 “for assistance for Georgia” (page 1499).
  • $453 million “for assistance for Ukraine” (page 1500).

Incredibly, there’s more yet—TONS more.

No less incredibly, I still occasionally see some folks out there braying about how “desperate” the Enemy is, how obvious it is that he’s “frightened” or “worried” about this or that or the other thing, that he’s “on the ropes,” at the end of the line, just about to collapse into a pile of despair and ruin. Judging by this supreme expression of sheer contempt, though, I’d say it looks a lot more like they’re just rubbing our noses in it at this point—openly laughing in our faces, cocking their snook, and daring Real Americans to do a damned thing about it.

Real Americans should definitely oblige them, I believe.

Does not compute

With math so fuzzy it appears be growing a full beard, they have to be using Common Core methods.


The claim, ludicrous on its very face, is that the miserably unpopular Uncle Gropey “won” over 80 million “votes.” This, mind, after his embarrassingly pathetic primary squeak-by’s, then an entire summer of being unable to draw more than a handful of buzzards to his campaign-appearance shitwagon. Binney’s total vote percentage of 66.2 was culled from the Enemedia organ grinder’s monkeys at the WaPo; according to their chart, that’s the highest percentage of registered-voter participation since 1908’s 65.7 percent. Joe Hoft gives the final tally:

Using the numbers as of today, which are materially similar to Binney’s, we find a huge issue. If we have 213.8 million registered voters in the US and 66.2% of all voters voted in the 2020 election, that equals 141.5 voters who voted in the 2020 election (Binney shows 140 million which is materially the same).

If President Trump won 74 million votes, then that leaves only 67.5 million votes remaining for Biden. This means 13 million duplicate or made up ballots were created and counted for Biden!

This also supports our observations from the start. Biden committed fraud in every imaginable way, but the big steal was in millions of fraudulent votes that were created to steal the election for Biden. MILLIONS!

The results of the 2020 election at a very high level do not add up. This is math liberals – very simple math that even liberals should be able to understand. At a high level, the Biden camp clearly committed fraud.

Well, duh. Every sensible and honest person in the country (qualifiers that assuredly exclude all shitlibs)—hell, in the entire WORLD—knows it at this point.

After all the video recordings; the thousands of sworn affidavits from credible witnesses; the statistically-impossible results; the computer “glitches” that only went in one direction; the beyond-shady mail-in ballots; those things, and a preponderance of further evidence, we ALL know it. How could we not?

And it’s not going to change a goddamned thing.

Which is why I’m thinking this maybe ought to be my last post on the fraudulent 2020 election. Might not be, I admit. But it probably should be. Not to denigrate Joe’s hard work above, mind, but for me the topic has become boring, with odds heavily trending towards an imminent collapse into downright wearisome. A few reasons why:

  • Nothing has ever, ever, EVER been achieved by trying to persuade a shitlib with logic, facts, and figures. At best they’re supremely disinterested in those things whenever they don’t serve the Left’s interests, which is always; at worst, they’re actively hostile to them. In either case, deploying such irrelevancies against shitlibs is worse than a waste of your time. It annoys the pig as well. Their aggressive disinterest and/or hostility to the Three Horribles—logic, facts, figures, with the historical record and actual science thrown in for good measure in some contexts—serve them as a suit of medieval armor, overlaid by a modern warship’s heavy steel hull-plating, all surrounded by a Star Trek-style force field, creating a shield leaving them invulnerable to all three

Yes, the 2020 election was indeed stolen, and we all know it. Something else we all know, or should by now: exactly what kind of actions constitute the last desperate chance to undo this most brazen of broad-daylight heists. Carrying on with the assembly of a legal case that will never be either heard or heeded no matter how airtight its construction is a mug’s game, played on a table I’m no longer very interested in sitting at. The question no longer revolves around court cases, numbers, facts, or lawyerly maneuvers. The sole question is what comes next…and whether enough of us are up to our unwanted task.

A challenge has been posed, a gauntlet thrown down. This challenge won’t be resolved via papers, filings, and briefs. It can only be met with steel, determination, and blood.

An “American Coward” speaks

Holding back anticipating a safety in numbers that may never come.

Every one of those Americans who understands this must realize that this is it. This is the last moment for the American Republic, the last time we will even have a glimmer of a chance of an honest election result, and the last time any opposition to modern communism will be afforded space in the public square. And yet, neither I nor most of you are going to do anything about this situation that might risk our present status or comfort.

This is why I won’t yet act.

Unfortunately for me, the crisis has come either too late or too early. Our family has four young children, a single income, and a base of assets which could be easily lost but probably never replaced. We are maximally vulnerable to the sorts of attacks which collectivists bring against those who fight back.

Even so, if the fight were on, if the majority of Americans who this past election shows are opposed to creeping collectivism were on the march, I would risk it all to join them. No comfort, no wealth, not even life itself is as important as preserving the possibility of human freedom. The hive-society prison which is being built around us must be demolished at any cost.

But when I look around me, I see many people who are paralyzed as I am. We know that the fight for our republic is unavoidable, and that the time is now, but do not see a nucleus of resistance to which we can pledge our lives, fortunes, and sacred honors without it being tantamount to suicide. We are watching and waiting for someone else to be that nucleus.

Most people who have not committed to the cause of freedom are not conscious supporters of modern communism. Some hold out the futile hope that things will all go back to normal, others have convinced themselves that what is happening is inevitable and cannot be opposed. Both are dead wrong. As open struggle against collectivism, communism, authoritarianism, and globalism rises, both of these positions will weaken, and support for freedom will grow.


I put “American Coward” in quotes in my title because honestly, I’m not at all sure that that’s she actually is. Her initial commentary on communism—indeed, the whole piece, which you should definitely read—shows her to be a woman of intelligence, a modest mother of four whose primary concern is for her family’s security and well-being but who nonetheless acutely grasps the overall situation, and is sincerely pained by it.

So is she REALLY a “coward,” then? Or is she a rational, reasonable soul who is deeply troubled by all this but finds herself at sea when it comes to the practicalities of what she can do about it personally? Does her duty to her children override all else? Or does her duty to her country compel her to rise up and take every action she must to help preserve it from Enemies, Domestic? Exactly what IS her duty here, anyway? Might there still be some useful part for her to play? Kit Perez takes a stab at resolving the conundrum.

Dear Sarah,
I wonder how many in the current climate recognize the act of defiance it took for you to write your letter. There will be those who focus on your supposed “cowardice,” as if standing up in the current game of Whack-a-Mole is somehow bravery, and restraint is proof of spinelessness. In reality, it is not cowardice you possess, but a recognition that there are different roles to play in this war, and different times to play them. Not all roles require a rifle, and not all of them are being played right now. I cannot speak for anyone but myself, but I fear they will all be in much greater use sooner rather than later.

Your choice to raise your children and train them in freedom, to serve as a support mechanism instead of a front line partisan, is not a cowardly one. The time is coming soon when those fighting for freedom will need a place to hide, food to eat, and a way to communicate. You may be a conduit for supplies, information, and a safe place for a partisan to get a tiny bit of much-needed rest someday in the near future. This is all for naught if our children cannot live in freedom, but doubly so if they do not understand its cost.

There are those who are willing to be on the proverbial tip of the spear, and they see you as well. If they are students of their own role, they understand that yours is crucial too. Paine wrote that “If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace; and this single reflection, well applied, is sufficient to awaken every man to duty.” Duty doesn’t always mean a rifle, and I have no doubt that you, and many others like you, will find a way to serve in the coming trouble.

Your letter did not fill me with a sense of superiority or judgment for your position, and I do not believe that you are somehow worth less in the cause of freedom. If anything, it made me take heart, because I see you. I see your heart and your willingness to be part of the fight for liberty, if only as a “mere” cog in a larger system, one that is bigger than any of us.

There will be a time when you are needed to take up your role, and that day is coming so much faster than any of us would ever wish for. Perhaps a wounded patriot will find your door in desperate need of help. Maybe you will find a way to get supplies to those who are fighting. Maybe your role is simply to stay alive long enough to tell our story to your children. And if all else fails, in a time when there is seemingly no hope, someone has to pick up our rifles and keep fighting. Your letter says that you will, and that is all we can ask for.

Seems right to me. As I’ve said here several times before, I am way too damned old and sickly now myself to shoulder a fifty-pound ruck, a medium-to-long range rifle and ammunition, and then hump on off for a month-long sniper sojourn in the woods. But among other things, I can roll bandages and/or load mags like a motherfucker. That may not seem like very much, especially to the chest-thumpier types among us, all a-brim with bluff and bluster as they are. But it ain’t nothing, either. Flinging hot lead downrange isn’t the only contribution to be made in wartime, as every real soldier knows. Not by a long yard, it ain’t.

So be of good cheer, Sarah, as much as any of us can manage during these most parlous times. We’ll all have our own part to play in the dark days ahead. Even the most valiant of warriors requires substantial rear-area support in order to fight and win on the front lines. It’s not shirking or cowardice to recognize where and how one can be of most real use, and to know one’s limitations and liabilities. What matters is that we jump in and fill that hole when we see one.

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador suggested Wednesday that politicians who impose lockdowns or curfews to limit COVID-19 are acting like dictators.

The comments came as López Obrador once again fended off questions about why he almost never wears a face mask, saying it was a question of liberty.

The Mexican leader said pandemic measures that limit people’s movements are “fashionable among authorities … who want to show they are heavy handed, dictatorship.”

“A lot of them are letting their authoritarian instincts show,” he said, adding “the fundamental thing is to guarantee liberty.”

Oh wow, I just got chills over here. AMLO is generally regarded as a bit of a left-wing authoritarian his own self. But, as I said: when the guy’s right, he’s right. And here, at least, he sounds way more genuinely American than all too many Americans In Name Only (AINOs?) I could name.

Some local governments in Mexico have tried to use police to enforce limits on masks or movement, which resulted in scandals of abusive behavior by police. López Obrador argues such measures should be voluntary.

“Everyone is free. Whoever wants to wear a face mask and feel safer is welcome to do so,” López Obrador said.

Bingo. And if you’re still quaking in terror over the prospect of contracting a case of the Red Death, stay the fuck home then.

But one area in which Mexico has joined with the rest of the world is in the rush to acquire vaccines. López Obrador urged the country’s medical safety commission, known as Cofepris, to hurry up and approve the vaccine developed by American drugmaker Pfizer and Germany’s BioNTech, which has already been given the go-ahead by regulators in the U.K.

And on Wednesday, Mexico’s Health Department signed a contract for 34.4 million doses of that vaccine, and said it hoped to receive 250,000 doses in December. Each person requires two doses.

Mexico has seen almost 107,000 test-confirmed deaths so far, the fourth-highest toll in the world, but Mexico does relatively little testing and officials estimate the real death toll is closer to 150,000.

To wit: if this shamdemic was really the planet-depopulator it’s been sold as, then A) TPTB wouldn’t have to lie about it as they have been right from the very beginning; B) the very same “leaders” who have so gleefully destroyed entire local and regional economies via lockdowns that they haven’t the legal authority to mandate wouldn’t be out dining in restaurants, attending parties, and such-like themselves, as they’re constantly getting caught doing. They’d be securely bunkered down in the governor’s mansion or someplace instead, quaking in terror of possibly contracting the Red Death.

Y’know, like YOU’RE supposed to be.

Calling a spade a spade.

The people dancing in the streets after the US Supreme Court tossed the Texas lawsuit yesterday are our enemies. They are not our family members, colleagues, business associates, clients, customers, neighbors, or acquaintances. They are our enemies, pure and simple. Willingly or not, informed or not, ignorant or not, corrupt or not, they would usher in the destruction of the American Republic – and apparently not bat an eye in doing so! Does the Democrat platform (read it here for yourself!) comport with your idea of the promises of the Founders and the rights instantiated in the Constitution and Bill of Rights? These people are Communists filled with hatred for America as it was founded. The sooner we figure that out, the sooner we can deal with them accordingly. They must be defeated politically at all costs if our progeny is going to have the same opportunities and freedoms as we have enjoyed.

We have gotten to the point that the political class (especially the Democrat Party) are blatantly attempting to steal a presidential election. The massive election fraud has been detailed in hundreds of lawsuit affidavits, sworn testimonies in state election fraud hearings, videos detailing the fraud, and expert statistical and other analyses (for example, here and here). The fraud is undeniable, but the Democrats, RINOs, and their media enablers completely ignore and refuse to investigate. Apparently, they all would be fine with using counterfeit money to purchase merchandise, too. Meanwhile, the courts refuse to hear Trump campaign lawsuits due to “process” and “standing” technicalities. Nowhere are the courts actually examining the evidence!

And our fellow citizens who think nothing of this are clueless about the long-term impacts on the rule of law, equal protection under the law, and the US Constitution. They are truly mushrooms, not some other convenient long-standing pejoratives like “clowns” or “fools.” A mushroom loves the dark and the consumption of fecal and decaying matter. Our citizen mushrooms love remaining inside their opaque, fact-free, and self-made cocoons while being willfully blind to reality and consuming the tripe and lies daily from the Democrat-media complex.

Such as these are our enemies, and it’s time to wake up and realize that basic fact. They live on an emotional plane that cannot be touched by fact and reason, and they really don’t care about the future of America. They can’t be persuaded to see the truth; they don’t care about the consequences of voting Democrats and are just fine with acquiescing to the stealing of the 2020 election.

What is the point of making nice to these people when the consequences for the future are so dire? What is the point of doing the Christian thing and turning the other cheek? They want us to meekly knuckle under and be silenced. Screw that! They all need to be confronted at every opportunity, called out for what they are (enemies of America and Constitution), chastised at every opportunity, and ostracized. We also need to light fires under our elected representatives regardless of party and broom the political class. And any money you spend should be spent on businesses who are your political allies, not any who support Democrat or globalist causes – and certainly not on ANYONE who advertises on the legacy media. Where you spend your money makes a real difference.

Let’s face it: there will always be charlatans, liars, grifters, knaves, and thieves in the political class. It’s what they do! The trick is to pay them sufficient attention in order to winkle the truth of their enduring corruption out of them, and then to vote them out (or better yet, prevent them from being elected in the first place!). But more importantly, we need to confront those mushrooms and lemmings who vote for these people. In point of fact, our real enemies are those who elect these Pied Pipers time after time, and the sooner we learn to deal with that root cause, the better for the country at large. No war – including those of the political variety – can be won without the enemy first having been properly identified.

True enough. But…when you said the Enemy “must be defeated politically” up there in the first paragraph? Hate to rain on your parade here and all, but no war was ever won using political means as the one and only weapon, either. Now, I get the reluctance to squarely confront the harsher realities of war, honest I do. It’s a very human reaction to horror; there’s no shame in it, to be sure.

But when one’s opening move is to declare himself restricted to waging “political” warfare exclusively—or, in another context, to “fight” some damned thing or other by continuing to vote in rigged elections, or by “speaking out,” or by any means other than just physically pummeling your opponent until he’s stretched out on the floor quacking like a crosseyed duck—well, it isn’t really war we’re talking about here, now is it? Not that it matters much. You were defeated long before the first shot was fired anyway.

It’s a good enough article nevertheless, and apart from my above Pecksniffery I don’t see a whole hell of a lot to argue with in it. But this general squeamishness over admitting that this really IS war—that Team Liberty must undertake that whole ugy Killing People And Breaking Stuff™ business that victory in war requires—may well be the very thing that undoes us in the end.

The Demonrat/GOPe/Ruling Class playbook, that is.

Trump upset this legalized political graft formula, so he had 75% of Washington out to bury him from Day One. All of the Rats, and half of the GOP. Impossible math to overcome.

And it’s not only the politicians: it’s the bureaucrats, generals, admirals, intel and DOJ bosses, leading academics and top MSM figures. Our ruling class elites are all in on the scam, moving through a continuously revolving door of doing political favors, switching jobs and obtaining seven-figure financial rewards, all while protecting one another, plus getting their undeserving brats into Ivy League schools, and then up into the ruling class nomenklatura. Chelsea Clinton was not unique, she was just a high profile example.

Donald Trump threatened this entire legalized graft arrangement with his efforts to “Drain the Swamp,” and in return he got the (so-far) non-kinetic but very real “Plomo” of all political and propaganda gun barrels fired at him from every player in this profoundly rotten system. I don’t need to run down the bill of particulars, it is familiar to all, right up to the election stolen in front of our faces.

So the Swamp won. For now.
 
And if the election math was bad in 2020 (considering the now-SCOTUS-approved use of ChiCom Fraud-O-Matic vote switching machines, plus truckloads of bogus “mail-in” ballots (with no witnesses at the counting), then just imagine 2022, when 20 million (at least) illegal aliens will be amnestied and given a DemSocRat voter registration card on the same day. The implicit deal will be: Vote Rat, and the Rats will welcome the rest of your foreign family into the USA with no hassles.

Thus the rolling DemSocRat snowball becomes an unstoppable avalanche. This is how The Golden State became one-party Calizuela in one generation: motor-voter at the DMV for all comers, with no questions asked, ever.

And this is how America will become Amerizuela. This is the proven DemSocRat playbook being exported nationwide.
 
But patriotic Americans will not calmly accept becoming powerless serfs, “Amerizuelans,” under an obviously fraudulent POTUS, in the form of the senile (and soon to be gone) Beijing Biden, and his VP (and soon to be POTUS), Kommie Harris. The “Supreme Court” did what I predicted they would do. I was correct, though I take no joy in that fact. At Instapundit, Glenn has this post up. Most interesting to me isn’t the fact that the court rejected the argument, nor what the experts think about that. It is the comments on the article, which are currently well over 1100. A sample of them follows.

A few urban areas controlled by democrats pulled their pants down to their ankles, mooned the rest of America, and America is going to have to decide whether to take it, and if not, exactly what to do about it.

Of late, I’m seeing some downright savage e-mails from correspondents whose anger, long contained at a slow simmer, has heated to a seething rage. The next step is for rage to boil on over into resolve, a prickly state that demands action to quiet. All in all, it’s a recipe for disaster for Chef Prog-Tard-Dee, whose over-confidence and inattention near a hot stove might just get him badly burned.

Something’s cooking out there, all right. As the coup-roux thickens, my initially-solid skepticism about the chance of a real, no-shit American uprising taking place is beginning to dissolve.

Get hot or go home

If you ain’t mad as hell, you ain’t paying attention.

This is just an observation (because I’m not looking forward to gulag life), but I think the only thing keeping Trump voters from burning the whole corrupt system down right now is that nobody knows whom or what to attack. That should be a pretty sobering consideration for an establishment class that thinks it just stole the 2020 presidential election fair and square. If there were a ship out in the harbor loaded up with all the Democrats’ fraudulent ballots from the election, there’s no doubt in my mind that a hundred million Americans would dress up as members of the Washington Football Club and sink that ship to the bottom of the sea. If the politicians and journalists who call the District of Corruption home were wearing bright red coats, I suspect they’d find themselves tossed to the curb head-first by every small business–owner going belly-up right now due to political whims disguised as public health orders. If there were a field of battle to defend or clearly demarcated enemy zones on the map, I’m guessing the powder keg ignited from mail-in ballot fraud this election cycle would have already gone boom!

The truth is that Americans are mad, and they should be. They have put up with four years of fake Russian collusion hoaxes and fake impeachments and fake judges using their powers to hamstring lawful executive orders from President Trump. They have watched the CIA abuse its powers to spy on a Republican political campaign and the FBI abuse its powers to punish political allies of the president, and the only person facing any semblance of justice in the whole mess is some no-name young lawyer from deep in the bowels of the Deep State’s operations against Trump who lacked the judgment to understand that his own side would use him as a scapegoat. Police officers have been totally thrown under the bus so that lawless Democrat mayors and district attorneys could send armies of Antifa thugs into the streets this election year as a show of strength. Old and young veterans have been watching elected officials tear up the Constitution they took oaths to defend, and if fighting broke out tomorrow, I think 90% of those former soldiers would be at the front lines the day after next.

We have a tinderbox right now, and about the only miracle saving the Establishment Club in D.C. from the impending inferno is that the Americans most fired up to tear the whole thing down are the same Americans who have spent their lives respecting the rule of law and American institutions. Drink that irony in! The men and women in D.C. who see themselves as part of the “permanent government” have abused their powers to take down a sitting president, Establishment Club Republicans have looked the other way as Democrats used the cover of a pandemic to justify the dumping of unaccounted mail-in ballots across battleground states to overturn an otherwise likely Trump victory, and the only thing keeping Trump voters from destroying the whole corrupt system is their own self-restraint. As soon as enough of them decide that a two-tiered justice system that protects leftist agitators while persecuting the MAGA crowd is unacceptable or that a rigged election system that magically lifts establishment candidates to victory is illegitimate, then the whole house of cards comes crashing down.

There are two horns on the beastly dilemna we’re perched on. One is the corrupt and maleficent Deep State apparat: deeply entrenched, invulnerable, and dangerous. Then we have the broader, civilian Left, consisting of cultural, educational, and propaganda sub-divisions, among others.

The Deep State wing amounts to the nuts-and-bolts mechanism of tyranny and oppression—the gears that do the physical grinding and crushing of its victims, the prisons they’re incarcerated in, the multitudinous officials that micromanage their lives and order them around. The Cultural wing is more along the lines of a Psychological Warfare branch, charged with bewildering, humiliating, and demoralizing Real Americans: convincing the opposition that resistance is futile, leaching the spirit of defiance and self-sufficiency from their very souls.

The enemy is all too familiar by now, surely. Who he is; what he wants; his beliefs, his intentions, his methods, all have been explicitly laid out for us through tedious sermonizing, street protests, threats, and brutal beatdowns. We’ve all had to look upon his ugly face—enduring his taunts and slanders, pretending to defer to his self-proclaimed superiority, deflecting his scrutiny as well as we can—for our whole lives. He isn’t just out in the open; he’s all up in our grill, cocking his snook at us in contempt and daring us to do something about it.

Identifying “whom or what to attack” is by no means difficult. In as target-rich an environment as the one we currently occupy, the difficulty is selecting which targets should be serviced first—a decision which hangs in part on whether it might be more effective if we prioritize one wing over the other for destruction.

Move on

WHAT NOW? The Fight for Our Freedom Continues Despite SCOTUS Ruling on Texas

Well, it should—indeed, it must. But the futile hope to see this grievous wrong righted via legal means should be dispensed with at this point. Indeed, it must.

We have to decide are we willing to live in a country where Obama judges ignore justice and rule on their own desires?

Are we willing to live in a country where the FBI attacks honest courageous Americans for calling out corruption rather than deal with the criminals committing the corruption?

Are we willing to live in a country where hard-working Americans pay for government excess and corruption while Democrats create non-profits so they don’t have to pay taxes?

Do we want to live where the upper crust makes millions and billions sending our jobs overseas while allowing anyone to cross our borders?

Do we want to live where babies who miraculously survive abortion are murdered?

Do we want to live where you are forced to wear a mask to stop a cold- like- flu that those under 75 are virtually immune to or be forced to take vaccines that may make us sick?

The soap box has failed us. The ballot box, ditto. The jury box just collapsed in a sodden, stinking heap before our very eyes, whatever the weaselly fictions conjured by the Slippery Seven to justify their betrayal.

That leaves us with just the one. Time we all stopped wasting our time clutching at straws and faced the facts, I think. There are magazines that need loading, and there’s a clock ticking.
